- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, Christine hit me over the head of the
- 0:01Speaker 1: stat So the men were studied, Kubby, And in this study,
- 0:06Speaker 1: when you're in the locker room, we found that eighty
- 0:09Speaker 1: nine percent of men check each other out.
- 0:13Speaker 2: What's going on over there?
- 0:15Speaker 3: Do you take a little peak?
- 0:18Speaker 1: But well, it happens, It happens.
- 0:20Speaker 3: There's no compare contrast, is there?
- 0:22Speaker 2: No?
- 0:22Speaker 1: No, that would never happen, right, Oh.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Me going to the gym would never happens when it
- 0:27Speaker 2: all comes down to. But yes, I have spent some
- 0:31Speaker 2: time in the gym.
- 0:32Speaker 3: And yeah, hey, what's going on? Okay, Well look that
- 0:37Speaker 3: there we are. You know, I've I've been going to
- 0:40Speaker 3: the to a small gym where I live. Good for you,
- 0:43Speaker 3: thank you, and getting getting back on course with all
- 0:47Speaker 3: of that. And it seems like the time I go
- 0:50Speaker 3: is the peak time for like gym dudes. I don't
- 0:54Speaker 3: know what they need, their own name, their own rats
- 0:58Speaker 3: or yeah, the dudes, but they're they're So let me
- 1:05Speaker 3: just share this with you, and I'm going to try
- 1:06Speaker 3: and do it in a way that I don't offend anybody.
- 1:09Speaker 3: But the conversation yesterday I was on the treadmill. There
- 1:13Speaker 3: were three men in the gym with me, and we
- 1:15Speaker 3: seem to always be there at the same time, even
- 1:18Speaker 3: if I vary my time.
- 1:19Speaker 2: But you don't really know them.
- 1:20Speaker 3: I don't know that I've seen them. They see me
- 1:22Speaker 3: kind of nod like uh huh. They were having a
- 1:25Speaker 3: conversation and they were, you know, very loud because they
- 1:29Speaker 3: had to talk over the machines, right, and they were
- 1:32Speaker 3: discussing their testosterone levels and what they're able to do
- 1:37Speaker 3: and not do, and kind of laughing because one of
- 1:40Speaker 3: their friends can't do something, and one guy was bragging
- 1:44Speaker 3: because he can do a lot of things with his
- 1:46Speaker 3: wife as a matter of fact, has to push him off.
- 1:48Speaker 1: God.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Yes, do you think they were speaking loud to try
- 1:52Speaker 2: to get your attention or really over the machines.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Over the machines, they were totally into their conversation. I
- 1:57Speaker 3: kind of glanced over they seemed one guy looked at
- 2:01Speaker 3: me so just one time kind of like whoops, and
- 2:03Speaker 3: then but didn't really care. I didn't have like earbuds
- 2:07Speaker 3: in or anything, which was clear right that, Like, I
- 2:09Speaker 3: hear everything you guys are saying.
- 2:11Speaker 2: But were you like eye rolling to yourself the whole time?
- 2:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I was just trying to keep poker face and
- 2:16Speaker 3: not react at all because I'm also fascinated by what
- 2:19Speaker 3: people will talk about.
- 2:21Speaker 2: I feel like this happens a lot, and I bet
- 2:23Speaker 2: you if we open the texting right now, Yeah, a
- 2:24Speaker 2: lot of people, especially the ladies. I feel bad for
- 2:27Speaker 2: the women because it's us guys that are either are
- 2:30Speaker 2: hitting on you or saying inappropriate things. I've seen it. Yeah,
- 2:33Speaker 2: you've seen when I went to the gym thirty years ago.
- 2:35Speaker 3: When as I got back to the house and I
- 2:38Speaker 3: shared it with Eric, and Eric said, wait, wait a minute.
- 2:40Speaker 3: He's like, these guys were saying all of this in
- 2:42Speaker 3: front of you, and I'm like, yeah, that's why I
- 2:45Speaker 3: heard it, and then he looks like he got really angry.
- 2:47Speaker 3: And then we got interrupted because something else broke in
- 2:50Speaker 3: the house and someone had to show up to fix it.
- 2:54Speaker 3: But yeah, he thinks that's really rude. So it's not
- 2:57Speaker 3: me being imprude, right, I.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Don't think it is. If it keeps going and going
- 3:01Speaker 2: and going, it was noxious.
- 3:02Speaker 3: A long time. And then they do the you know
- 3:05Speaker 3: when you lift the weights. I pick things up, I
- 3:07Speaker 3: put them down, but they drop them or they're on
- 3:10Speaker 3: the machines with the plates and the plate just and
- 3:13Speaker 3: my nervous system is shot. So I'm like, boo, so
- 3:15Speaker 3: I jump every time.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Are they trying to think that? Do they think they're
- 3:18Speaker 2: super cool by doing that? I think, so, oh, man,
- 3:20Speaker 2: I'm so strong. I just had to drop it. Yeah,
- 3:22Speaker 2: but I had a trainer that used to say, oh,
- 3:24Speaker 2: they just can't handle the weights, you know, like act
- 3:27Speaker 2: like you've been there before. Yeah, I'm like, whoa, I
- 3:29Speaker 2: just did that for the first time ever. That's my
- 3:32Speaker 2: thing on that.
- 3:33Speaker 3: But I don't know if like I just have to
- 3:35Speaker 3: get over it. I definitely, you know, Eric's like, please
- 3:38Speaker 3: wear your earbuds and just go into the zone, like
- 3:40Speaker 3: listen to music or something, so you don't here are
- 3:43Speaker 3: these guys. I'm trying to time it so we don't
- 3:44Speaker 3: end up there at the same time, but inevitably we do.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Share your gym stories with us. We'd love to hear
- 3:49Speaker 2: from you. I don't think you're alone, Christine, I really don't.
