- 0:35Speaker 2: On today's episode, we're reviewing Champagne Problems, which is currently
- 0:38Speaker 2: available to stream on Netflix. Don't worry, our Hallmark content
- 0:42Speaker 2: isn't going anywhere. We just wanted to expand a little bit.
- 0:44Speaker 2: This season.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Netflix has dropped a bunch of Christmas movies. Sure, and
- 0:50Speaker 1: I watch a lot of Netflix, so of course it's
- 0:52Speaker 1: it's like offered up to me. I'm like, Oh, what's
- 0:55Speaker 1: this movie? Oh? What's this movie? Even today, Megan, and
- 0:58Speaker 1: I know you don't want to hear this, but today
- 0:59Speaker 1: I saw an add for something my Secret Santa or something. Yeah,
- 1:03Speaker 1: I was like, oh, should we review? Yeah? And then
- 1:06Speaker 1: I knew that was going to be your response, so
- 1:09Speaker 1: I was like, no, look, do you want to We
- 1:12Speaker 1: don't have time for it. Okay, we don't have time.
- 1:14Speaker 1: But I did think the premise sounded real cute.
- 1:16Speaker 2: I have seen talk of it. I haven't dug into
- 1:19Speaker 2: any of the talk, but I've seen it across my
- 1:22Speaker 2: social media feeds.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I thought it looked good to me. I just we
- 1:25Speaker 1: don't have room on the schedule for the rest of December.
- 1:28Speaker 2: That's true, but although this is a Saturday drop, so
- 1:31Speaker 2: it could be an additional Saturday drop.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Okay, if you're listening to this and you're like Magan
- 1:37Speaker 1: and Wendy, I really want you to review this movie
- 1:40Speaker 1: on Netflix dot dot dot email us Girls Gone Hallmark

- 1:46Speaker 2: Yeah, with any future movies. Well, speaking of feedback, we
- 1:51Speaker 2: have been loving your ratings and reviews that you're leaving
- 1:54Speaker 2: for us in the Apple podcast system, I wanted to
- 1:56Speaker 2: say two things. Someone reached out in our Facebook group
- 1:58Speaker 2: and asked, how do I leave a review in Spotify?
- 2:00Speaker 2: Unfortunately you can't. You can do two things. You can
- 2:02Speaker 2: rate the podcast uh and we love that, and you
- 2:05Speaker 2: can also leave comments on individual episodes and engage with
- 2:08Speaker 2: the podcast that way. But on Apple podcasts you can
- 2:11Speaker 2: leave a written review. And I would like to read
- 2:13Speaker 2: one who says, just had to say your token sixty
- 2:18Speaker 2: two year old is listening to everyone. Just found you,
- 2:21Speaker 2: guys in January when I was looking for more The
- 2:23Speaker 2: Way Home content. I love you, guys.
- 2:26Speaker 1: I feel super bad right now, because I know there's conton.
- 2:30Speaker 1: There's a lot of context here that's missing. There was
- 2:34Speaker 1: a previous episode recently where I was like, how long
- 2:37Speaker 1: are we going to be reviewing podcasts for I'm fifty
- 2:39Speaker 1: years old. I can't imagine I'm going to be doing
- 2:40Speaker 1: this in twelve years? And you said, Wendy, I bet
- 2:43Speaker 1: there are people who are in their sixties who listen
- 2:47Speaker 1: and want this content. So what I.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Said was, I think there are people in their sixties
- 2:52Speaker 2: who would push back on the idea that like, you
- 2:55Speaker 2: don't have anything to offer when we're sixty, Like who
- 2:57Speaker 2: because you said, who wants to listen to a sixty
- 2:59Speaker 2: year old doing that? Like? Who wants to listen to that?
- 3:02Speaker 2: But I don't think any offense was taken. Okay, we
- 3:07Speaker 2: got five sumars, so we are we welcome you, Thank
- 3:09Speaker 2: you for listening.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I know, but lately I've been like I feel like
- 3:14Speaker 1: a pot apologizing left and right for things that I
- 3:17Speaker 1: have said. So what really, I'm just I'm just on
- 3:21Speaker 1: like high alert right now on this podcast. I'll tell
- 3:25Speaker 1: you about it later.

- 4:05Speaker 2: off our discussion of Champagne Problems with a synopsis.
- 4:10Speaker 1: And executive travels to France to secure the acquisition of
- 4:13Speaker 1: a renowned champagne brand before Christmas, but her plans are
- 4:17Speaker 1: upended when she falls into a whirlwind romance with a
- 4:20Speaker 1: charming Parisian, only to discover he's the founder's son.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Champagne Problems was written and directed by Mark Stephen Johnson.
- 4:29Speaker 2: This is Mark Stephen's ninth directing credit. Previous work includes
- 4:34Speaker 2: the theatrical movies Daredevil and Win in Rome. As for writing.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Mark Stephen has thirteen writing credits, including the nineteen ninety
- 4:40Speaker 2: three movie Grumpy Old Men and its sequel Grumpier Old Men.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Other screenplays include Jack Frost, Daredevil, and Electra Side note,
- 4:49Speaker 2: did you know that I'm quite a big fan of
- 4:51Speaker 2: the Grumpy Old Men franchise? Color me not surprised?
- 4:55Speaker 1: Really? Shout out to Mark Stephen Johnson. Then he's got
- 4:59Speaker 1: a new fan indeed. Minka Kelly stars as Sydney. Minka
- 5:04Speaker 1: is probably best known for her breakout role as Lyla
- 5:06Speaker 1: Garrity on the series Friday Night Lights. She has gone
- 5:09Speaker 1: on to appear in Parenthood, Titans, Euphoria, and the Hellmark
- 5:13Speaker 1: tear jerker The Beach House.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Tom was Nica plays Henri. Tom is a French actor
- 5:18Speaker 2: with nine acting credits, including Drops of God and Slow Horses,
- 5:22Speaker 2: both from Apple TV plus.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Tibau de Monte Labert plays Hugo Cassel. Tibo is another
- 5:28Speaker 1: French actor with an impressive one hundred and eighteen acting credits.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Some of his roles include the twenty twenty two movie
- 5:35Speaker 1: All Quiet on the Western Front and the series The Tunnel.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Sean Amsing plays Roberto. Sean has sixty five acting credits,
- 5:42Speaker 2: with recent appearances in the series Family Law, Heyo and
- 5:46Speaker 2: Blame the Accountant.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Lula Borg plays Auto. Flula is a German actor who
- 5:51Speaker 1: has ninety six acting credits, with roles in The Rookie
- 5:54Speaker 1: Ghosts and Pitch Perfect Bumper in Berlin. What it was
- 5:59Speaker 1: a series? Oh? He was also a short Pitch Perfect too. Oh,
- 6:03Speaker 1: I didn't see his name on that one. Maybe I
- 6:06Speaker 1: didn't scroll back that far.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Also the classic Chipmunks movie Road Chip. We are big
- 6:13Speaker 2: fans of the Chipmunks franchise in this house.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Oh my god, we cannot be friends anymore.
- 6:17Speaker 2: The Chipmunks, the squeak Will, Road Chip.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Do you know how much I hate the Chipmunks?
- 6:22Speaker 2: What is the cruise one called?
- 6:24Speaker 1: I don't know and don't care, chip Wrecked? We love
- 6:28Speaker 1: them all? God, we know this squeak Will. That's fun. No,
- 6:34Speaker 1: I don't like cartoons. I don't like the Chipmunks cartoon.
- 6:37Speaker 2: It's live action, baby.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Oh even it's a hijinks on hijinks on hyjiin No.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Do you see where my were it comes from? Like
- 6:50Speaker 1: my disdain for all that stuff.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Sure, of course it's a family favorite, all four of
- 6:56Speaker 2: those movies. Anyway, Astrod Wetnoll appears as Brigitte Astrod is
- 7:01Speaker 2: a Belgian actress known for her role as Sylvie on
- 7:04Speaker 2: The Missing May of Courtier. Lily plays sister Skyler. She
- 7:07Speaker 2: has just ten acting credits, though she has appeared in
- 7:10Speaker 2: several series, including The Outpost, The Red King, and The
- 7:13Speaker 2: Light in the Hall.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Xavier Samuel plays colleague Ryan. Xavier has forty five acting
- 7:18Speaker 1: credits and appeared in the twenty twenty two theatrical film
- 7:22Speaker 1: All This.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Let's take a quick break and we will come right
- 7:24Speaker 2: back with our first impressions of Champagne Problems. Hey, Wendy,
- 7:35Speaker 2: what was your first impression of Champagne Problems?
- 7:40Speaker 1: This movie feels like a version of a Hallmark movie
- 7:43Speaker 1: you'd catch if you only stayed up after midnight. And
- 7:47Speaker 1: I mean that in the very best way. Dark. Yes,
- 7:50Speaker 1: Hallmark after dark.
- 7:51Speaker 2: This movie, for me, sets up the rom and then
- 7:54Speaker 2: hits us with the calm, and I am.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Here for it. You think there was tons of calm
- 8:00Speaker 1: in this? Roberto? Come on, well, no, Roberto, Definitely I
- 8:05Speaker 1: loved Roberto. Yes, okay, let's talk about what we liked. Okay,
- 8:09Speaker 1: so many things. Are you surprised? I think you sound surprised.
- 8:14Speaker 2: A little bit because a little bit, a little bit,
- 8:17Speaker 2: you know, I kind of think, like in the Christmas movie,
- 8:19Speaker 2: made for streaming, made for television world, like Hallmark is
- 8:23Speaker 2: kind of the gold standard. A lot of the others
- 8:26Speaker 2: don't always measure up.
- 8:28Speaker 1: This fits right in. Yeah, but it's better than Hallmark, though,
- 8:31Speaker 1: don't you think so.
- 8:33Speaker 2: I thought there were a lot of great things about it.
- 8:35Speaker 2: I don't think there's anything particularly unique about the story
- 8:39Speaker 2: same but I thought it was well executed.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I agree. But it's funny that you look at it
- 8:45Speaker 1: and you go, oh, it was I'm from your impression.
- 8:48Speaker 1: You think it was heavy on comedy.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Not heavy on comedy, but the opening, you know, twenty
- 8:55Speaker 2: minutes are covered in romance, which I really liked. That's
- 9:00Speaker 2: not my favorite thing, but I was kind of like, oh,
- 9:02Speaker 2: I'm all in on this Parisian romance.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Give me more.
- 9:04Speaker 2: These two beautiful people falling in love.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I love it.
- 9:07Speaker 2: And then the tone shifts and we get kind of
- 9:12Speaker 2: a reverse slow Burn situation because they've already hooked up,
- 9:15Speaker 2: but now there's a roadblock in their way, and we
- 9:19Speaker 2: get all of these other characters thrown in, and we
- 9:21Speaker 2: get the humor of Roberto and the humor. I think
- 9:24Speaker 2: Auto brings a very different kind of humor to his role.
- 9:28Speaker 2: And then we see Sydney and Henri trying to work
- 9:32Speaker 2: their way back to each other. And I liked the romance.
- 9:35Speaker 2: I liked the warmth, you know, the scene between Hugo
- 9:40Speaker 2: and Sydney where he's kind of bearing his soul to her,
- 9:43Speaker 2: and Hugo and Henri where he apologizes to him for
- 9:48Speaker 2: not being there.
- 9:49Speaker 1: There's a lot of heart in this movie. Thanks for listening, everybody,
- 9:53Speaker 1: There's so much more to talk about. Tell me what
- 9:55Speaker 1: you liked. Okay, for me, first of all, I'm watching
- 9:59Speaker 1: the throw a Hallmark lens obviously, right, so I'm bringing
- 10:05Speaker 1: that baggage into it maybe going forward if we do
- 10:09Speaker 1: other movies I like, won't like watch it through that lens.
- 10:13Speaker 1: But with that said, I thought this was a little
- 10:17Speaker 1: more grown up than what we would get with a
- 10:19Speaker 1: typical Hallmark romance, especially the we spent the night together.
- 10:26Speaker 1: It really reminded me of the recent we met in December,
- 10:30Speaker 1: same sort of kind of outlay. They our couple meets
- 10:34Speaker 1: each together, they have a wonderful night together. This movie
- 10:37Speaker 1: just took it one step further, and I didn't hate it.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I like, I liked all that. Yeah, I loved Mika Kelly.
- 10:46Speaker 1: She's so good. She is so good. I recently started
- 10:50Speaker 1: rewatching Friday Night Lights and I had remembered, like, Oh,
- 10:53Speaker 1: she's really good. She's a great actor. I loved her
- 10:57Speaker 1: in this. I thought that that, you know, she makes
- 11:02Speaker 1: the big emotional moments feel earned. She's very as her character.
- 11:07Speaker 1: She's very good at her job, Like I'm invested in,
- 11:10Speaker 1: like what her role is going out to this champagne farm.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I know that's vineyard, you know what I mean? I
- 11:19Speaker 1: do anyway, But I actually my biggest takeaway was when
- 11:23Speaker 1: she and on re meet in the bookstore. I love
- 11:27Speaker 1: this hole, Like he doesn't work, there's situation. I loved
- 11:32Speaker 1: all of that, And I love this night that they
- 11:36Speaker 1: spin together doing all these things, Like it's very much like, oh,
- 11:41Speaker 1: there is something believable magnetism happening between these two people,
- 11:48Speaker 1: not just like a one night hook, not just a
- 11:50Speaker 1: chance encounter.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I really I agree. It builds so nicely from
- 11:54Speaker 2: the bookstore. I loved that I don't work here moment,
- 11:57Speaker 2: But I also first of all loved the bookstore. Would
- 12:00Speaker 2: like to go there and just live in there and
- 12:03Speaker 2: love a bookstore. I also loved Sydney's tiny wingwoman. We
- 12:08Speaker 2: have this little old lady Henri is speaking French to
- 12:13Speaker 2: Sydney and she doesn't understand, but he's just telling her
- 12:15Speaker 2: like I would just like to spend more time with you,
- 12:16Speaker 2: and the woman in the books are just kind of
- 12:18Speaker 2: gives her a thumbs up, like go for it. She
- 12:21Speaker 2: understood him, and Sydney did it. I thought it was
- 12:23Speaker 2: such a cute, little little romcom detail there. The comedy.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Roberto is the comedic heart of this movie and is
- 12:32Speaker 2: an absolutely necessary peace. He just every line turned my
- 12:37Speaker 2: troubles into bubbles and he's like my body is more
- 12:41Speaker 2: bouncy Castle than Temple, and like he's it's pure chaos.
- 12:46Speaker 2: I just love him so much. Yeah, I enjoyed his
- 12:50Speaker 2: character a lot. It's just completely unseerious energy that he has.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I also I really love flu Laborg as a character actor.
- 12:58Speaker 2: As mentioned, he's in Pitch Perfect, He's in that ridiculous
- 13:01Speaker 2: Chick Chipmunks movie. He has a darker comedy to his character.
- 13:06Speaker 2: He's unintentionally funny and he tells his crumpoo stories and
- 13:11Speaker 2: I really just always enjoy him on screen. Roberto's Zatti
- 13:16Speaker 2: Claus moment. Look to your point about Hallmark after Dark,
- 13:20Speaker 2: He's like, I'm gonna go try and make the naughty
- 13:22Speaker 2: list and all those instagrams. He's like, oh, I discovered
- 13:26Speaker 2: Zatti Claus's OnlyFans account.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Great, very good. I mean, Hallmark could get away with
- 13:33Speaker 1: that too. I just totally chose not to. They just
- 13:36Speaker 1: choose not too. Yeah, it walks, It walks a line.
- 13:38Speaker 2: There's nothing offensive about this movie. It's not like, oh,
- 13:40Speaker 2: I wouldn't watch it with my kids.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Oh not even Yeah.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I like those little hints like yeah, give me a
- 13:46Speaker 2: little more, give me. You know, we don't even see
- 13:48Speaker 2: them go to bed together. We just see her wake
- 13:50Speaker 2: up in his house and he's not even there.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just like the hints of it, right exactly.
- 13:57Speaker 1: I too liked the supporting characters. You didn't mention Jet
- 14:03Speaker 1: we're going to talk about that She's scene. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 14:06Speaker 1: I could feel your personal personal pain there. I liked
- 14:09Speaker 1: all the characters. I thought I thought it was well
- 14:12Speaker 1: balanced of like you know, your archetypes of villain's villain light. Basically,
- 14:21Speaker 1: I enjoyed all of them. I like how that worked together.
- 14:24Speaker 1: And I really liked Henri's dad too. You go yeah, Hugo.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I thought he had some really great scenes, especially that
- 14:31Speaker 1: one that he had with Sidney, you know, explaining a
- 14:34Speaker 1: little bit about like what he's been going through. Yeah.
- 14:39Speaker 1: I thought everybody really was enjoyable to watch in this.
- 14:44Speaker 1: I like even the sister, Sidney's sister too, Oh my gosh,
- 14:47Speaker 1: the sister. I really loved Skyler like, I'm gonna just
- 14:51Speaker 1: start saying to you like you're a Kelly Clarkson song.
- 14:55Speaker 1: I think that's a great line.
- 14:56Speaker 2: A line and the fact that she's in soul cycle
- 14:59Speaker 2: having a conversation and just drinking a frappuccino while everyone
- 15:02Speaker 2: else is sweating it out around her.
- 15:04Speaker 1: I really like her.
- 15:06Speaker 2: And she's like, ah, I just need a loan till
- 15:08Speaker 2: my influencer money comes in.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Really funny.
- 15:11Speaker 2: I like a resolution at the end. Henri gets his
- 15:14Speaker 2: bookstore slash wine shop together. It's on the grounds of
- 15:18Speaker 2: the chateau. Everyone gets what they want they you know,
- 15:21Speaker 2: he gets to stay connected to his dad, Brigitte and
- 15:25Speaker 2: Hugo get together.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I just really liked it, and I liked that cute dog.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Oh you're funny. I knew you were like that.
- 15:32Speaker 2: There was a slow pan back when Sydney's leaving the
- 15:34Speaker 2: house and the dog is in the hallway and they
- 15:36Speaker 2: just pan backwards from the dog and.
- 15:38Speaker 1: He's just he's just so bereft at her leaving. Did
- 15:42Speaker 1: you like all the French in this movie? Oh? It
- 15:45Speaker 1: is one of my did you see that's but I
- 15:47Speaker 1: I did like all the French. I think it's important
- 15:50Speaker 1: to know that this It makes the movie not the
- 15:53Speaker 1: kind of movie you can watch with a second screen
- 15:54Speaker 1: in your hand. Oh no, you need to watch and read.
- 15:59Speaker 1: You have to read the subtitle.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Yes, yes, because there's a lot contained in the French.
- 16:04Speaker 1: It reminded me a lot about like of Emily in Paris,
- 16:07Speaker 1: because there's so much French in that as well. It
- 16:09Speaker 1: brings a certain like authentic authenticity to it. And these
- 16:15Speaker 1: people are not going to speak English to each other.
- 16:17Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, I enjoyed that. Do you have some wishes?
- 16:21Speaker 1: I have a few. Okay. The corporate plot line feels
- 16:26Speaker 1: a little paint by the numbers trophy, of course. I
- 16:30Speaker 1: mean there's a ton of tropes in this in this movie,
- 16:33Speaker 1: but the whole like her Company, is the bad guy,
- 16:37Speaker 1: and we've seen this a lot of times. Yeah. I
- 16:40Speaker 1: do like how she gives them the big like middle
- 16:43Speaker 1: finger basically really and and tells, you know, she's developed
- 16:47Speaker 1: these relationships and it wasn't just to nab Henri. It
- 16:50Speaker 1: was like to help Hugo out that they had bad intentions.
- 16:56Speaker 1: So I love that. I love that. What I didn't
- 17:00Speaker 1: I didn't like or my wish. Of course, Henri hears
- 17:04Speaker 1: a partial conversation between she and her co worker Ryan
- 17:10Speaker 1: and gets the wrong message.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Stick around till the end of the conversation.
- 17:15Speaker 1: People, Yeah, yeah, walk in on the conversation, right, that's
- 17:18Speaker 1: what the hell's happening here. Actually, the last little wish
- 17:22Speaker 1: I have is, I know this is supposed to take
- 17:24Speaker 1: place at Christmas time, it wasn't that Christmasy though, in
- 17:28Speaker 1: my opinion, it could have happened at any time of
- 17:30Speaker 1: the year. I don't know. Get hit me with a
- 17:34Speaker 1: snowy scene or like something, give me something, give me
- 17:37Speaker 1: something other than you know, with the Zatti Claus and
- 17:40Speaker 1: that Festival of Lights moment, the carriage ride, that's that's
- 17:43Speaker 1: kind of it.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Really, Yeah, so my wishes. Henri kind of takes Sydney
- 17:50Speaker 2: down publicly in that pitch meeting, and it was such
- 17:53Speaker 2: a sharp turn away from their encounter the night before.
- 17:59Speaker 2: And it don't feel like we fully understand his motivation
- 18:03Speaker 2: there because.
- 18:05Speaker 1: She didn't lie to him.
- 18:07Speaker 2: I understand that he has beef with her company and
- 18:10Speaker 2: people who are in it, but he just comes so
- 18:14Speaker 2: hard for her.
- 18:16Speaker 1: I didn't like it. Yeah, I don't like that either.
- 18:18Speaker 2: And I almost was like, is there a little bit
- 18:20Speaker 2: of fragile masculinity happening here? Because he came back and
- 18:23Speaker 2: she was gone. But then he finds out where she is.
- 18:27Speaker 2: She had a meeting and so did he bet us.
- 18:30Speaker 2: So anyway, the Ferris Wheel scene felt very green screens
- 18:35Speaker 2: to me.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Mmmm, that could be wrong. I didn't really notice. I
- 18:40Speaker 1: have a I have a I have a green screen moment,
- 18:42Speaker 1: and I didn't see that, but not not in the
- 18:44Speaker 1: Ferris Wheale scene. What I don't like about the fairs
- 18:48Speaker 1: whel scene is like the whole like, oh, we're stopping,
- 18:52Speaker 1: We're just gonna say, dammit.
- 18:54Speaker 2: You don't like it because that's scary to you? Yes, sure, yeah,
- 18:59Speaker 2: I don't end by Ferris Wheel either. Finally, the plotline
- 19:03Speaker 2: about Henri not wanting to be CEO I feel like
- 19:06Speaker 2: it's just like you said, paint my numbers. I don't
- 19:09Speaker 2: feel like there's a ton of motivation behind it. I
- 19:12Speaker 2: do know that he and his father have some emotional issues,
- 19:16Speaker 2: but the idea that he goes like, well, the company
- 19:19Speaker 2: is done because HENRII does not want to take it over.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Let's think outside the box. It's okay that our child
- 19:25Speaker 2: wants to move away from the family business. Yeah, exactly,
- 19:29Speaker 2: it's time to talk. Did you see that a moment?
- 19:34Speaker 1: I have just two small ones again. We just talked about.
- 19:38Speaker 1: The green screen is when Henried drives off to find
- 19:41Speaker 1: Sydney and he's like in the car, it's just bad bad.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Oh green screen. Interesting? Did you watch it on your phone? No?
- 19:49Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 19:50Speaker 1: I watched it on the TV. Oh yeah, I just
- 19:52Speaker 1: thought it was aggressive. I was like, oh, this happens
- 19:55Speaker 1: on Netflix too. Yeah. Yeah. Our lead our lead guy Tom.
- 20:00Speaker 1: How do you say his last name? Again?
- 20:01Speaker 2: I said Woznika, but I do not claim to know
- 20:04Speaker 2: that that's correct.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Who plays on me looks a little bit like former
- 20:10Speaker 1: homework actor Ryan Pavey. Oh interesting, he's so hot though.
- 20:15Speaker 1: He's very good looking. But I was like, is that
- 20:18Speaker 1: Ryan Pavey, like at first when I saw like the
- 20:20Speaker 1: movie poster, Yeah, yeah it's not you know, my Digiti.
- 20:24Speaker 2: That's are just a couple additional scenes that I would
- 20:26Speaker 2: like to call out. Thank you for the lactose intolerance representation.
- 20:30Speaker 2: I felt very seen the tony gurgle, the straight up
- 20:35Speaker 2: fart on screen, her saying cheese hates me. Look dairy
- 20:39Speaker 2: betrays a lot of us, and it felt very surreal.
- 20:42Speaker 2: I did accept When he's like, oh, you gotta get
- 20:46Speaker 2: dressed and go, I was like, I'm not getting on
- 20:47Speaker 2: that carriage. Gotta tell you what. Stay in high jammies.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Nope, not going anywhere. Yeah, is it unrealistic? Would you
- 20:57Speaker 1: have eaten the cheese? Wouldn't you have been like, look,
- 20:59Speaker 1: I can't. I have an allergy. I am sorry. Yeah,
- 21:03Speaker 1: maybe it wouldn't, but I wouldn't.
- 21:05Speaker 2: First of all, that cheese plate that they served her,
- 21:07Speaker 2: that's not realistic. Are they serving an enormous plate of
- 21:10Speaker 2: cheese for a single person?
- 21:12Speaker 1: Well, I mean it was a real dick move by
- 21:14Speaker 1: Brigitte to do that, like honestly, but I think it
- 21:20Speaker 1: would be completely appropriate to be to opt out one hundred.
- 21:24Speaker 1: He wouldn't have been offended.
- 21:26Speaker 2: No, even Henri like, why didn't you say something? She
- 21:28Speaker 2: was like, well, I was trying to play ball. But yeah, yeah,
- 21:31Speaker 2: real funny. I loved the line premature congratulations. I suffer
- 21:34Speaker 2: from premature congratulations.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Just made me laugh.
- 21:37Speaker 2: And finally I left out loud when Henri comes out
- 21:40Speaker 2: to chase down Sydney and discovers that Philip has taken
- 21:43Speaker 2: his car.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Cut to Philip just.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Like flying down the lane, wind in his hair. I
- 21:49Speaker 2: thought it was funny, especially because it's a callback to earlier.
- 21:52Speaker 2: He's like, you gotta take it out, you gotta feel
- 21:55Speaker 2: it move. What did you rate Champagne Problems out of
- 21:58Speaker 2: five stars?
- 21:59Speaker 1: I give it four stars. I enjoyed you. I gave
- 22:01Speaker 1: it four stars as well.
