- 0:44Sean McAllister: Welcome to Vegas Revealed, episode 297.
- 0:48Sean McAllister: Sean McAllister and Dana Roselli here with you.
- 0:51Sean McAllister: And uh, Dana, we are gonna try and pack as much into this episode as we can because we are going to be off for Thanksgiving.
- 1:01Dayna Roselli: That's right.
- 1:01Dayna Roselli: And we thought we have so much to talk about, and we have so many things to tell people about that they should know, like before the holiday, heading into the holidays, that we want to just put it all in this one.
- 1:13Sean McAllister: Yes.
- 1:13Sean McAllister: So we've got quite the roster of uh tidbits for you lined up on our itinerary here in front of us.
- 1:22Sean McAllister: Um, let's dive right into it, Dana, before we get into your whirlwind weekend, because there's a lot to talk about there.
- 1:28Sean McAllister: Right.
- 1:29Sean McAllister: Uh, we are just off of uh hanging out with new kids on the block.
- 1:34Dayna Roselli: And they're actually part of my weekend, but this is separate because during that whole planning process, we were already going to New Kids on the Block, and then you and I got uh something in our inbox that said, hey, there's this big press announcement.
- 1:46Dayna Roselli: So, yes, let's talk about the announcement first.
- 1:48Dayna Roselli: New kids on the block are beloved.
- 1:50Dayna Roselli: We know the blockheads listen to the Vegas Revealed podcast because sometimes they get on us.
- 1:55Dayna Roselli: Why haven't you been to New Kids on the Block yet?
- 1:57Dayna Roselli: The residency.
- 1:58Sean McAllister: You talk about Backstreet Boys, but what about new kids?
- 2:01Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 2:01Sean McAllister: Well, guess what?
- 2:02Sean McAllister: We gotta let the new kids' time has come.
- 2:04Dayna Roselli: It has come big time.
- 2:06Dayna Roselli: All right, so we go to this event and it's at the Little White Wedding Chapel, and New Kids on the Block are in the room, and so like we didn't expect to see every other Vegas headliner in the room as well.
- 2:18Dayna Roselli: We saw Jabberwocki's blue man group, we saw impersoners like impersonators like the Lady Gaga impersonator, we saw Larry who does amazing Tina Turner.
- 2:29Dayna Roselli: Um, who else was there?
- 2:30Dayna Roselli: Caratop.
- 2:31Dayna Roselli: Who else?
- 2:32Dayna Roselli: Like the I oh there was a Michael Jackson impersonator.
- 2:35Sean McAllister: There was all sorts of blue man.
- 2:37Dayna Roselli: Blue man, yeah.
- 2:39Dayna Roselli: I mean, it was crazy.
- 2:40Dayna Roselli: So we're like, we don't understand like what's going on.
- 2:42Sean McAllister: Yeah, it was like walking into a music video because the new kids were standing up front in this chapel with the pews full of all these other Vegas entertainers.
- 2:52Sean McAllister: We're like, what's going on here?
- 2:53Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 2:54Sean McAllister: Um, and then Elvis took the mic and started his started this whole event, which uh the new kids on the block, it was declared New Kids on the Block Day in Clark County, which is where Las Vegas is.
- 3:12Sean McAllister: Uh so they got keys to the to the Las Vegas strip and also announced a residency extension.
- 3:21Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 3:21Dayna Roselli: Now they're already coming back in February, but they added even more dates.
- 3:26Dayna Roselli: So we're talking June, July, and October now.
- 3:30Dayna Roselli: And FYI, those tickets go on sale November 21st, depending on when you're listening to this.
- 3:35Dayna Roselli: But um, for so it's like another big run, so a big extension for them.
- 3:40Dayna Roselli: And they basically, so Elvis was saying that the new kids were marrying Las Vegas in this ceremony, and that's why all the other Vegas headliners were there and performers, and so it was like this marriage of new kids on the block committing to Las Vegas, which we love.
- 3:58Dayna Roselli: We are very happy about this.
- 3:59Sean McAllister: We do, and so Las Vegas, I believe, is going to be the only place where you can see new kids in 2026.
- 4:06Dayna Roselli: It could be if they don't announce anything else, right?
- 4:09Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 4:09Dayna Roselli: I mean, but so let's listen to Donnie Wahlberg.
- 4:12Dayna Roselli: He's said a little something at the ceremony, and I thought it was really nice.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: The coolest city around on the planet, if we're being honest.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: And uh, you all have set an example for all of us in all of your own unique ways, and we thank you so much for your inspiration, support.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: Means the world that you're here today.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: We know how hard it is to work in Vegas, and uh the hours are ruling, the job is demanding, but the fact that you came out to show us love today means the world to us, and we we really respect and appreciate all of you.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: So thank you.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: And uh we're on to 2026, baby.
- 4:44Sean McAllister: Let's go.
- 4:46Sean McAllister: All right, I think we're ready.
- 4:47Sean McAllister: The blockheads are ready, all the Las Vegas entertainment community is ready.
- 4:53Dayna Roselli: I mean, they really bring it at this show.
- 4:55Dayna Roselli: Why don't we just go into that?
- 4:57Dayna Roselli: That was part of my my weekend with my friends, but I had not seen the new kids on the block residency show yet.
- 5:04Dayna Roselli: I have seen them a number of times and love them in concert, mixtape tour, all sorts of things.
- 5:09Dayna Roselli: You saw them at iHeart.
- 5:10Dayna Roselli: And so I was looking forward to seeing the residency show at Park MGM, and it was incredible.
- 5:15Dayna Roselli: I I know I keep saying it, but I really felt like this is how you do a Vegas show, just because it had every single element.
- 5:21Dayna Roselli: It had the outfit changes, the sets, some things like the boxes in the air that went up to the balcony, some things that you don't see, you know, at other concerts.
- 5:29Dayna Roselli: Um they integrated their personalities, they had energy, they worked the audience, and it just felt like the whole thing encompassed.
- 5:38Dayna Roselli: And there were, you know, there was obviously nostalgia because you know, old clips of them sometimes.
- 5:42Dayna Roselli: They had the changing cam when they went back, you could see them changing in the back and joking around.
- 5:47Dayna Roselli: I mean, it just was very, very entertaining.
- 5:50Dayna Roselli: Uh, we never sat down and never wanted to sit down, and it just it was great.
- 5:56Dayna Roselli: And they all gave each other their moments, they just work so well together.
- 6:00Dayna Roselli: I just thought it was like just full on joy.
- 6:04Dayna Roselli: And when you walk out, you're like, that was a blast.
- 6:07Sean McAllister: Well, and um obviously from the the videos that you know I've seen of yours and that you posted, uh the production is amazing for their show.
- 6:18Sean McAllister: But do you think that it's the the energy and I mean the fun that each of them brings to the stage that makes it such an enjoyable experience?
- 6:30Dayna Roselli: I I do.
- 6:31Dayna Roselli: I mean, they enjoy each other, you can tell, and enjoy the fans and making people happy.
- 6:37Dayna Roselli: They really bring it.
- 6:39Dayna Roselli: And I even say that because even when we were at the press event, they're a little bit more subdued in person.
- 6:44Dayna Roselli: Yes, they are.
- 6:45Dayna Roselli: Their happy place, you can tell, is stage.
- 6:47Sean McAllister: Yep.
- 6:48Dayna Roselli: You know, they're also obviously very busy and tired.
- 6:50Dayna Roselli: I mean, Donnie like flew to shoot Boston Blue, probably in like New York, and then flew back by the time this press event was, and then they had a show that night.
- 6:57Dayna Roselli: I mean, it's demanding.
- 6:59Dayna Roselli: But um, I was just thinking, like, I mean, the stage is their happy place, they love it, and it rubs off on the entire audience.
- 7:06Dayna Roselli: And, you know, they're great dancers too.
- 7:09Dayna Roselli: They each have their moves and their signature stuff.
- 7:12Dayna Roselli: I mean, they're just and you just can't help them but love them.
- 7:14Dayna Roselli: They also have um other dancers with them on stage as well, so that even adds more to the show.
- 7:20Dayna Roselli: Um, but I yeah, I just think they they love what they do, they always have and like each other, and it's just a fun place to be for them.
- 7:28Dayna Roselli: So it makes it a fun place to be for you.
- 7:31Sean McAllister: That's so great.
- 7:32Sean McAllister: And I know like you were mentioning, they do it for the fans.
- 7:36Sean McAllister: And even Donnie, I think, mentioned at some point during the uh this event that we were at that that is the whole reason for everything that they do, and they appreciate the fact that fans keep coming back, keep supporting them, and they know that they wouldn't be doing what they do without that support.
- 7:56Dayna Roselli: It's so true.
- 7:58Dayna Roselli: And uh you can tell by even some of the videos that I posted and that we posted from the press event, the fans um their comments, they just love them.
- 8:07Dayna Roselli: They've supported them, some for you know, decades.
- 8:11Sean McAllister: So well, and even when the when the band went down into the crowd, you know, they all dispersed and they were, you know, in different parts of the theater, they were stopping to take selfies with just about every person they passed, or to grab a hand, to make eye contact.
- 8:29Sean McAllister: That was just such uh for me, that was such an endearing thing to see.
- 8:33Sean McAllister: And like they wouldn't do that if they didn't actually enjoy it.
- 8:38Dayna Roselli: They uh it's so true, and they disperse through the crowd to hit every section, right?
- 8:42Dayna Roselli: I love that, you know, the people that are like obviously in the bottom section, but you know, and you and I have like I mean, I've always liked the song tonight, but you and I love the song because I we used it in so catchy, it's so catchy.
- 8:55Dayna Roselli: We're always like tonight la la la la la la tonight.
- 9:00Dayna Roselli: I mean, they got some jam, so new kids have it.
- 9:03Dayna Roselli: I'm excited they're extending, and I think it's gonna do very, very well.
- 9:06Dayna Roselli: I mean, they put a lot into it, and it makes sense that I mean the sets are incredible.
- 9:11Dayna Roselli: You gotta go still.
- 9:12Dayna Roselli: We're gonna get you there.
- 9:13Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 9:13Dayna Roselli: Someone commented on Facebook.
- 9:15Dayna Roselli: I'm glad you guys, you finally went, and you and Sean have been talking about it, but I was like, we still gotta get Sean there for a long time.
- 9:20Sean McAllister: It's been almost a year.
- 9:22Sean McAllister: I know.
- 9:23Dayna Roselli: All right, so that's the new kids update.
- 9:25Dayna Roselli: Um, excited about that and them sticking around in Vegas.
- 9:28Dayna Roselli: It's nice, they've really embraced the town too.
- 9:31Dayna Roselli: We saw Danny shopping at Target on his social media.
- 9:35Dayna Roselli: Joey's hitting up breakfast spots, Donnie and Jenny are over at Barry's downtown eating dinner.
- 9:41Dayna Roselli: Jordan, he likes to be low-key.
- 9:44Dayna Roselli: He actually went off Instagram and I think even Twitter.
- 9:47Dayna Roselli: Like he doesn't have a lot of social media.
- 9:48Dayna Roselli: So we don't know what to do.
- 9:49Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 9:50Sean McAllister: If you have the ability to do that, that is the way to go, I think.
- 9:54Dayna Roselli: True.
- 9:54Sean McAllister: Man.
- 9:54Dayna Roselli: Oh, but him and oh, John posts though.
- 9:56Dayna Roselli: And he had uh him and Jordan were hiking in Utah or something.
- 10:00Sean McAllister: Oh, that's right.
- 10:00Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and they were saying they need to go see the chiropractor.
- 10:06Sean McAllister: Well, you mentioned that uh Donnie and Jenny McCarthy, his wife, love uh Barry's, the restaurant at Circa.
- 10:16Sean McAllister: And that was part, another part of you, it was a very new kids' weekend that you had.
- 10:21Sean McAllister: There was another part of this weekend you had, Dana, with a bunch of your close friends coming into town for a great celebration.
- 10:31Dayna Roselli: That's right.
- 10:31Dayna Roselli: We've been trying more and more to get together all at one time.
- 10:36Dayna Roselli: It's a lot of work, people have families, but we made it happen over the summer and now this time.
- 10:41Dayna Roselli: So it was crazy.
- 10:42Dayna Roselli: My friend Doreen was coming out with our friend from high school, uh, Jeff Jones, who's actually he's big on TikTok as a blockhead, a new kids fan.
- 10:50Dayna Roselli: He loves Wizard of Oz and New Kids.
- 10:52Dayna Roselli: And he wanted to go see Wizard of Oz at Sphere, new kids also.
- 10:56Dayna Roselli: And so she said, Hey, I'm coming and I've never been to Vegas.
- 10:59Dayna Roselli: I'm finally gonna be there.
- 11:00Dayna Roselli: Then everyone else hopped on board, so that's how it turned into this big thing.
- 11:04Sean McAllister: And these are all childhood friends.
- 11:05Dayna Roselli: Childhood high school friends, yes, childhood middle school.
- 11:08Dayna Roselli: Uh, one I've been friends with since kindergarten.
- 11:11Dayna Roselli: So it's like a long term.
- 11:13Dayna Roselli: We were all on the cheerleading team together, except one.
- 11:16Dayna Roselli: One of them wasn't on the cheerleading team, but um, but that's so fun.
- 11:19Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so it was a really fun group that we just really feel comfortable around.
- 11:23Dayna Roselli: So, yes, we did go to Berry's.
- 11:25Dayna Roselli: And now, you know how you and I always say um we never just get to pick things that we want to do.
- 11:30Sean McAllister: Right.
- 11:31Sean McAllister: So our schedule, our work schedules are have us all over the place all the time.
- 11:36Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 11:37Dayna Roselli: So we're always having to go, you know, if if we go to a restaurant event or a restaurant opening, we may just want to stay home and eat on a Friday night.
- 11:44Dayna Roselli: You know what I mean?
- 11:45Dayna Roselli: Because we're like we've gone out and we've been around.
- 11:47Dayna Roselli: So it was nice to be able to make a little itinerary with them where I could just pick where I haven't been in a while and where I've been wanting to go.
- 11:53Sean McAllister: And where you are going for pleasure and not because you have to take notes and do work stuff and do video and all that stuff.
- 12:01Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 12:02Dayna Roselli: So we went to Barry's because I've been meaning to get back there at Circa Las Vegas.
- 12:06Dayna Roselli: Barry's is amazing, and I hadn't been back in, I don't even know.
- 12:10Dayna Roselli: I think it's been like two or two and a half years, which is ridiculous.
- 12:13Dayna Roselli: So anyway, so we're all going to Barry's.
- 12:15Dayna Roselli: And it's funny because when you know people don't know of a place, they're like, okay.
- 12:19Dayna Roselli: So I'm like, we're gonna go to Circa, we're going downstairs.
- 12:21Dayna Roselli: Anyway, we absolutely, again, just a reminder, loved it.
- 12:25Dayna Roselli: First of all, it was slammed on a Saturday night.
- 12:28Dayna Roselli: It's packed in there.
- 12:29Dayna Roselli: The bar area packed.
- 12:30Dayna Roselli: We had an 8 p.m.
- 12:32Dayna Roselli: reservation.
- 12:33Dayna Roselli: Um, and you know, we got Barry came to the table.
- 12:37Dayna Roselli: My friends were like, You're not Barry.
- 12:39Dayna Roselli: That's like this is named after.
- 12:41Dayna Roselli: We're like, I'm like, yes, that's Chef Barry.
- 12:43Dayna Roselli: And they're like, You're Barry?
- 12:45Dayna Roselli: We need a picture.
- 12:46Dayna Roselli: I mean, they just loved it.
- 12:47Dayna Roselli: He was so nice.
- 12:48Dayna Roselli: Um, and you know, they did pour us a little glass of champagne, which was really kind, but we got the big huge tomahawk that you share with the table.
- 12:58Dayna Roselli: Yep.
- 12:59Dayna Roselli: It was$2.99, but we had six people and it was worth it.
- 13:01Sean McAllister: That's a good deal, right there.
- 13:03Dayna Roselli: It really was.
- 13:03Dayna Roselli: And then we got the garbage salad, it's so freaking good there.
- 13:06Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh.
- 13:07Dayna Roselli: Amazing.
- 13:07Sean McAllister: It's one of Chef Barry's specialties.
- 13:09Sean McAllister: It was so he's had that ever since his days at the Palms.
- 13:12Dayna Roselli: It's delicious.
- 13:14Dayna Roselli: Um, so we loved that.
- 13:16Dayna Roselli: They love that.
- 13:17Dayna Roselli: Um, everything we had sides, oh, the cream spinach was great.
- 13:20Dayna Roselli: So we had a fabulous dinner.
- 13:22Dayna Roselli: We had uh two of my friends got the old-fashioned cart, you know, that rolls around.
- 13:26Dayna Roselli: They were great.
- 13:27Dayna Roselli: And, you know, had some dirty martinis going.
- 13:30Dayna Roselli: They brought out some desserts and a happy birthday um dessert for us because we were celebrating all of our birthdays kind of at one time in the vicinity of each other.
- 13:39Dayna Roselli: And so that was so nice.
- 13:40Dayna Roselli: But we just had just such a great night that they've been texting me since.
- 13:43Dayna Roselli: Like we loved berries in the group text.
- 13:47Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 13:47Dayna Roselli: They're like, oh my gosh, we miss it so much.
- 13:50Dayna Roselli: So that's that.
- 13:51Dayna Roselli: We went to Berries, and because I have a lot to get through, I'm gonna keep going.
- 13:54Dayna Roselli: Uh, the first night, me and my one friend, as we were waiting for the others, went to the Ocean Prime patio, and I forget how amazing that patio is.
- 14:01Sean McAllister: It really is.
- 14:02Dayna Roselli: It's beautiful, it's co it, but it has like a very peaceful, comforting vibe, even though you have this view of the strip, you know, with the trees and I don't know, and the staff were great.
- 14:13Dayna Roselli: The hot and dirty martini, I must say, is one of my favorites, and we got those amazing.
- 14:18Dayna Roselli: The sushi's so good there.
- 14:20Dayna Roselli: We got sushi.
- 14:21Sean McAllister: I have not had their sushi yet.
- 14:23Dayna Roselli: So good.
- 14:24Dayna Roselli: It really is.
- 14:25Dayna Roselli: When I look at the menu and I have to pick something, I'm like, you know what?
- 14:28Dayna Roselli: I just remember the sushi's great, and every time it comes out, I'm like, it's amazing.
- 14:32Sean McAllister: I have I have a gift card for Ocean Prime sitting in my gift card drawer that I need to use.
- 14:39Sean McAllister: And by the way, here's a tip uh sign up for Ocean Prime's uh alerts and emails because they do a lot of gift card deals a lot of times too.
- 14:49Dayna Roselli: Yeah, like spend this amount and blah, blah, blah.
- 14:51Dayna Roselli: Um, anyway, so that was great.
- 14:53Dayna Roselli: Uh, we really enjoyed it.
- 14:54Dayna Roselli: The patio is wonderful, and you can book it right there.
- 14:56Dayna Roselli: I can't remember if they're they use open table or seven rooms, but anyway, you book it right in there that you request the patio.
- 15:03Dayna Roselli: So um, that was wonderful.
- 15:06Dayna Roselli: Also, my friends had a room at Virgin.
- 15:09Dayna Roselli: All of them were, let's see, uh, well, two were staying.
- 15:12Dayna Roselli: A couple came in, they stayed at Fountain Blue, and then the three of my girlfriends were staying at Virgin Las Vegas, and they got upgraded to this suite and at check-in, and it was like they were blown away.
- 15:27Dayna Roselli: And I was blown away when I showed up.
- 15:29Dayna Roselli: It's called the Shag Suite.
- 15:31Dayna Roselli: It was huge.
- 15:31Dayna Roselli: Over three, I think it was like over 3,000 square feet, three separate bedrooms with king beds, four bathrooms, pool table, bar, butler service, and a view of the strip.
- 15:42Sean McAllister: I mean, I feel like that's more of a villa than a suite.
- 15:45Dayna Roselli: It was amazing.
- 15:46Dayna Roselli: It was in the uh the original tower of, you know, what used when the hard rock turned to, yeah, the old hard rock tower.
- 15:52Dayna Roselli: Um, now it's Virgin Las Vegas.
- 15:54Dayna Roselli: But you know what?
- 15:54Dayna Roselli: I mean, you cannot beat it.
- 15:57Dayna Roselli: It was uh one of the best suites I've seen because it was fun too.
- 16:01Dayna Roselli: And this they they knew that uh my one friend Doreen had never been to Vegas before.
- 16:05Dayna Roselli: So I think they really wanted to up the game and give her that experience.
- 16:09Dayna Roselli: And they are still, again, texting me like, I'm back, like, you know, volunteering for cheer, my daughter's cheer thing, slinging chicken fingers with a visor on.
- 16:21Dayna Roselli: Last week I had butler service.
- 16:28Sean McAllister: So it was a good weekend.
- 16:30Dayna Roselli: It was a great weekend.
- 16:31Dayna Roselli: So that was lovely.
- 16:32Dayna Roselli: Um, I also wanted to mention one more thing.
- 16:35Dayna Roselli: I everyone left, and I did bring my friend and her husband to the George at Durango to watch some football, watch the Bills game.
- 16:41Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 16:41Dayna Roselli: And I just thought this was a great deal.
- 16:44Dayna Roselli: So you got a book online um if you want to like really secure your reservation.
- 16:47Dayna Roselli: But we went up and they said we do have a table actually on the lawn there at the George, and it's open air, which my friends love because they wanted a nice peaceful Sunday.
- 16:55Dayna Roselli: Yeah, but a little bit fun and a little bit Vegas.
- 16:58Dayna Roselli: But anyway, they did say you can sit on the lawn, but if you do, it's a$25 minimum per person, which was totally fine.
- 17:05Sean McAllister: Which is easy.
- 17:06Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and then you pay a 20% um like venue fee or something to sit there.
- 17:11Dayna Roselli: And they said, Do you still want the table?
- 17:13Dayna Roselli: And we're like, Yeah, that's totally fine.
- 17:15Dayna Roselli: But I love that they told you up front.
- 17:17Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 17:17Dayna Roselli: That's what I'm talking about, made all the difference, right?
- 17:21Dayna Roselli: Because at least we knew.
- 17:22Dayna Roselli: Great, no problem.
- 17:23Dayna Roselli: Yes, totally worth it.
- 17:24Dayna Roselli: You're giving up a prime seat to us in the middle of a football game.
- 17:29Dayna Roselli: And so they let us know.
- 17:31Dayna Roselli: Loved it, loved my experience at The George.
- 17:33Dayna Roselli: They loved Durango, so that was really great as well.
- 17:37Dayna Roselli: We went to see Wizard of Oz.
- 17:38Dayna Roselli: Everyone loved that.
- 17:39Dayna Roselli: I wasn't going to that because I've seen it twice already, but then one of my friends wasn't feeling great.
- 17:44Dayna Roselli: So they're like, well, Dana Roselli, you're in.
- 17:46Dayna Roselli: You're coming to Wizard of Oz for a third time.
- 17:48Dayna Roselli: So I saw it.
- 17:49Dayna Roselli: Here's a little tip for that.
- 17:50Dayna Roselli: Um, we sat not in the middle section, we were off to the left in section 300, I think it was.
- 17:58Dayna Roselli: And FYI, here are the few things that I noticed.
- 18:01Dayna Roselli: It wasn't as windy in the tornado.
- 18:03Sean McAllister: Oh, okay.
- 18:04Dayna Roselli: So just a little bit, yeah, like it's a little bit more intense if you sit like in the middle sections.
- 18:10Dayna Roselli: Um and the apples didn't fall from on that side.
- 18:16Dayna Roselli: They fall more in the middle.
- 18:17Dayna Roselli: It did snow on that side, and and it, but it was but there were pluses, like you got to be a little bit of a distance from you know, seeing s the butterflies and the monkeys fly.
- 18:26Dayna Roselli: So, like, there's like pluses and negatives of everything.
- 18:29Dayna Roselli: But I I thought, oh, okay, I'll let everyone know that because we weren't sure if there was any difference.
- 18:33Dayna Roselli: Yeah, because we know that's yeah, sat in section 200.
- 18:36Sean McAllister: Right, good to know because we've yeah, yeah, been in the same section each of those times.
- 18:42Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 18:42Dayna Roselli: So it was a wonderful weekend.
- 18:44Dayna Roselli: If I think of anything else later, I'll let you know.
- 18:46Dayna Roselli: But that though that's the highlight.
- 18:48Dayna Roselli: They loved oh, sorry, one more thing.
- 18:50Dayna Roselli: We also went to spago at Bellagio because on like Friday we wanted to just do a patio.
- 18:57Dayna Roselli: It was a beautiful day.
- 18:59Dayna Roselli: And my one friend said, Well, what about spago?
- 19:02Dayna Roselli: You know, because it sits right there by the fountains.
- 19:03Dayna Roselli: And I'm like, I don't think they're open for lunch or brunch.
- 19:06Dayna Roselli: Um, but then I looked and they were.
- 19:08Dayna Roselli: So here's the deal another tip.
- 19:10Dayna Roselli: Friday to Sunday, Spago has a brunch, 11 a.m.
- 19:13Dayna Roselli: to 2:30.
- 19:14Dayna Roselli: And we booked right there, and the 11:30 requested the patio, and all six of us were able to go.
- 19:21Dayna Roselli: It was amazing, just a nice, relaxing brunch with a beautiful view right there on the water.
- 19:27Dayna Roselli: So nice.
- 19:28Dayna Roselli: So that was lovely, and I had no idea that they were open for brunch.
- 19:32Dayna Roselli: I thought it was just dinner.
- 19:33Dayna Roselli: So Monday through Thursday, they're 4:30 to 10 dinner, and then 4:30 to 10 on Friday to Sunday as well.
- 19:39Dayna Roselli: But they do have this brunch, 11 to 2:30 Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- 19:45Dayna Roselli: So keep that in mind.
- 19:46Dayna Roselli: Took my friend to the conservatory.
- 19:47Dayna Roselli: We went out front and then we watched the fountain show.
- 19:50Dayna Roselli: So I did all the highlights.
- 19:51Dayna Roselli: A lot of times people ask us, like, what should I do on my first trip?
- 19:54Dayna Roselli: And there's a million other things we could have done.
- 19:56Dayna Roselli: Just uh it would go on and on and on.
- 20:00Dayna Roselli: But though that's what I chose as a group first experience for everyone.
- 20:06Sean McAllister: Good itinerary.
- 20:07Sean McAllister: And so glad that it was a good trip for everyone who made the the trek out here to Las Vegas.
- 20:13Sean McAllister: And happy birthday to all.
- 20:15Dayna Roselli: Thank you.
- 20:15Dayna Roselli: And all their flights were smooth.
- 20:17Dayna Roselli: Miracle was that weekend of the terror of the big shutdown, and but they all made it.
- 20:21Dayna Roselli: And I made them all book nonstop flights.
- 20:23Dayna Roselli: From the one was coming from Albany, one from JFK, two from Rochester, one from Nashville.
- 20:29Sean McAllister: So those are big trips that could be impacted.
- 20:32Sean McAllister: Well, good.
- 20:32Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 20:33Dayna Roselli: So how was your weekend at the wind?
- 20:34Dayna Roselli: Let's get to that because you staycationed at the win that weekend.
- 20:37Sean McAllister: Yes, and it was fantastic.
- 20:40Sean McAllister: It really was so uh nice to be over there, and we had uh we had dinner at SW Steakhouse, which was absolutely fantastic.
- 20:53Sean McAllister: This was a it was a splurge to go there, you know.
- 20:56Sean McAllister: That's not not going to SW every single night.
- 20:59Sean McAllister: Right.
- 20:59Sean McAllister: Um but we ended up having uh a little bit of the uh Wagyu ribeye, the Japanese Wagyu ribeye, and they sell it like it's about sixty-five dollars per ounce, just know that going in, and you get a it's a minimum of four ounces.
- 21:19Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 21:20Sean McAllister: Um so we ended up getting the four ounces, and it was uh just delicious.
- 21:28Sean McAllister: It had so much flavor, it was almost a a creamy buttery texture when you chew it.
- 21:36Sean McAllister: Amazing.
- 21:38Sean McAllister: And we also uh split uh like a regular nine ounce fillet, um, just because the four ounces was small.
- 21:45Sean McAllister: Um and it was crazy how much more flavor the Japanese wagyu had than just a regular fillet.
- 21:54Dayna Roselli: Interesting.
- 21:55Sean McAllister: And I was like, oh my gosh, now I know why a lot of fillets are served with.
- 22:00Sean McAllister: With the selection of sauces on the side to dip it in.
- 22:06Sean McAllister: Right.
- 22:07Sean McAllister: But doing the side-by-side comparison, it was like there is no comparison.
- 22:11Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 22:11Dayna Roselli: So you didn't need any sauces for the Japanese Wagyu.
- 22:14Sean McAllister: None.
- 22:15Sean McAllister: But nothing on there.
- 22:16Sean McAllister: And that's actually what our server said.
- 22:18Sean McAllister: She was like, honestly, if you're coming in here and you want a great steak experience, she's like, I I would just recommend going for the Wagyu.
- 22:28Sean McAllister: I know it's more expensive.
- 22:30Sean McAllister: I know it's a treat.
- 22:31Sean McAllister: But if that's what you're coming in for, get that and and skip over some of the other steak selections.
- 22:40Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 22:41Sean McAllister: So I appreciated the honesty there.
- 22:43Sean McAllister: We had a beautiful seat.
- 22:44Sean McAllister: We had a um open air there too, right?
- 22:47Sean McAllister: Yeah, they had the doors all opened up looking out to the lake of dreams.
- 22:51Sean McAllister: We were inside the restaurant in a booth, kind of right in the center, but it looked straight out to the lake of dreams.
- 22:58Sean McAllister: And so we saw the, you know, the show going on out there, and it was just beautiful.
- 23:03Sean McAllister: Uh fantastic dinner.
- 23:05Sean McAllister: Um the room, um, the room over there at Wynn was fantastic too.
- 23:11Dayna Roselli: Yeah, you loved that room.
- 23:12Sean McAllister: Oh my gosh.
- 23:13Dayna Roselli: You said you took a nap in there, even though you were on staycation, because the beds were so comfortable.
- 23:17Sean McAllister: The beds were so comfortable, and I was like, you know what?
- 23:20Sean McAllister: If we have this room, let's take advantage of it and like actually use it for more than just like crashing at the end of the night.
- 23:28Sean McAllister: Right.
- 23:29Sean McAllister: Like, let's relax in it, let's enjoy it.
- 23:31Sean McAllister: So we did.
- 23:32Sean McAllister: And the rooms are beautiful, so well done.
- 23:36Sean McAllister: The staff over there, everyone we encountered was great.
- 23:39Sean McAllister: Um we did go out to the Lake of Dreams separately uh to watch the the show and hang out.
- 23:47Sean McAllister: And at one point, the music went off, and there was a message that came up on the waterfall, and it was wishing Kay a happy birthday from Matt.
- 24:00Sean McAllister: And we were like, Oh my gosh, I didn't know you could like rent out the Lake of Dreams waterfall uh for birthday messages, and so when the server came over, I was like, I didn't know you could do this, and she was like, Yeah, I didn't either.
- 24:14Sean McAllister: She was like, This is the first time I have ever seen that done, and they also shut the music off out there for the message.
- 24:23Sean McAllister: She was like, So that must have been somebody important to have that happen.
- 24:28Dayna Roselli: Right, okay.
- 24:29Dayna Roselli: Oh, so that's not something you can just get get it.
- 24:32Sean McAllister: Doesn't seem like it.
- 24:33Dayna Roselli: Okay, got it.
- 24:34Sean McAllister: Um, but I said I shared that on my stories.
- 24:37Sean McAllister: I was like, well done, Matt.
- 24:38Dayna Roselli: Yeah, whatever you got, who whatever strings you pulled, right?
- 24:41Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 24:41Sean McAllister: That was great.
- 24:42Dayna Roselli: But that is a nice little area that a lot of people we always say over and over, don't really uh for some reason don't know about it.
- 24:48Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 24:49Dayna Roselli: And I'm talking about like, yeah, I mean, sometimes locals too.
- 24:52Dayna Roselli: I don't, but I like that about it.
- 24:54Dayna Roselli: It's kind of like this little oasis that you either know about it, you don't.
- 24:58Sean McAllister: Right.
- 24:58Dayna Roselli: We're telling you about it because it's great.
- 24:59Dayna Roselli: They do the shows and it's beautiful out there.
- 25:02Sean McAllister: And we did spend a day at the pool over at Wynn.
- 25:05Sean McAllister: Um, by the way, uh it was at one of their side pools uh where we were hanging out because the main pools over at Wynn are being redone right now.
- 25:14Dayna Roselli: Oh, okay.
- 25:15Sean McAllister: They had the you know, the jackhammers were out, the crews were out there, so it seems like they're gonna be renovating their main pool areas all winter long with a I imagine uh opening in time for spring.
- 25:30Sean McAllister: Right.
- 25:30Sean McAllister: So if you're planning a spring vacation at Wynn, you should have uh a brand new pool experience out there.
- 25:38Dayna Roselli: Yeah, when my friends at Virgin, there was one of the pools that was open, the other were closed, and Fountain Blue, same thing, one of the pools, and they're like, oh, just one of the pools.
- 25:46Dayna Roselli: And I'm like, well, the it was like the weekend of November 7th, and it was very warm here.
- 25:50Dayna Roselli: It was I wouldn't say it was like unseen, it was like a little bit warmer than normal.
- 25:53Dayna Roselli: But it was usually like mid-70s and it was like 80.
- 25:57Sean McAllister: Yep.
- 25:57Dayna Roselli: So, um, so anyway, and they're like, Well, what's the deal?
- 26:00Dayna Roselli: I'm like, well, you know, like Fountain Blue's gotta get ready to put in an ice rink, like it's holiday time, you know, like it's like all of a sudden we just you know shift into what's next, you know?
- 26:08Dayna Roselli: We gotta move on.
- 26:09Dayna Roselli: Thanksgiving, Christmas.
- 26:10Dayna Roselli: I go, yeah, like Fountain Blue's putting in an ice rink, probably.
- 26:13Dayna Roselli: And then, you know, Virgin has that whole sand area and they probably close that part because it doesn't get as busy, just keep the one family pool open.
- 26:21Dayna Roselli: But um, you know, that time of year, a lot of the pools close or leave one open.
- 26:26Dayna Roselli: So just know that there's gonna be a choice, a place, but it's gonna be limited.
- 26:32Sean McAllister: Yes.
- 26:33Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 26:33Sean McAllister: So overall, the the stay over at Wynn was good absolutely fantastic.
- 26:40Sean McAllister: Loved it.
- 26:40Sean McAllister: It was relaxing, enjoyable, uh, from top to bottom.
- 26:44Dayna Roselli: Good.
- 26:45Dayna Roselli: I'm glad you enjoyed that.
- 26:46Dayna Roselli: Um, okay, so we've got more stuff to talk about.
- 26:49Dayna Roselli: Well, I thought I would mention this because when I mentioned that I had six people in town, I saw this that Fountain Blue was offering this big league package at the tavern there.
- 26:59Dayna Roselli: And it's exclusively for group lounge seating, five to 12 guests.
- 27:03Dayna Roselli: And I thought, okay, if people do come in with a big group, sometimes it is hard to know your options and plan.
- 27:10Dayna Roselli: Um, so it's right there within the resort's uh sports book, but um, they now have like a bunch of different things that they offer, like a first down menu, like you can get endless guacamole and chips, buffalo chicken sliders, cornbread bites, pigs in a blanket, that whole thing.
- 27:25Dayna Roselli: Um, and then they also have you know a shellfish tower, lots of other choices, but you can go to the website and reserve a seat there.
- 27:35Dayna Roselli: And it's right there on the Fountainblue Lasvegas.com website.
- 27:40Dayna Roselli: Go to Dining Restaurants The Tavern and you'll see the offering there.
- 27:43Dayna Roselli: But it's it's hard to plan with big groups.
- 27:46Dayna Roselli: You really I had to take a full night and really write out an itinerary and think about reservations and places that you could secure and and try and figure out what time you would be there.
- 27:56Dayna Roselli: So, so this is an option for you at Fountain Blue.
- 27:59Dayna Roselli: If you want to watch a game and you got a big group, or just locals that want to go over there and have a big group of friends.
- 28:05Sean McAllister: Yeah, and I think it's a great idea for them to have uh different package levels as well.
- 28:11Sean McAllister: You know, if you just want some uh variety of a few small bites, yeah, they've got that.
- 28:17Sean McAllister: If you want to go up to, you know, more uh packages with heartier uh dishes, you know, with sliders, you know, buckets of popcorn, all that kind of stuff, they've got that for you too.
- 28:29Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 28:29Sean McAllister: So depending on the size of your group, how hungry you are, what you want, how long you're gonna be there, they've got that covered.
- 28:36Sean McAllister: So the big game, big league packages over at the tavern at Fountain Blue.
- 28:42Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and also this is dropping.
- 28:43Dayna Roselli: Um, it's F1 week.
- 28:44Dayna Roselli: So F1 is started for this weekend.
- 28:47Dayna Roselli: Um, got the downtown festival happening, the music and culinary festival, Neon City.
- 28:52Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 28:52Dayna Roselli: So we got that going on, the F1 race, and finally all that you know, setup that we've had to go through because it does back up the side roads.
- 29:01Dayna Roselli: It's been a little bit of a mess.
- 29:02Dayna Roselli: We had SEMA car show in when we had other things going on at the same time.
- 29:06Dayna Roselli: It has been a little complicated as usual to get around out like the strip.
- 29:11Dayna Roselli: Like the actual strip is fine, it's the little side roads, but um, the race is here, and once you see that race on television and you look at the final product, it is perfection.
- 29:22Sean McAllister: I mean, it really is, and I'm excited.
- 29:24Sean McAllister: Uh so this drops, this episode drops on Thursday of F1 week.
- 29:29Sean McAllister: I'm actually going tonight to uh watch at Ellis Island tonight.
- 29:37Sean McAllister: Tonight.
- 29:37Sean McAllister: La la la.
- 29:38Sean McAllister: Yeah, you're going to Ellis Island.
- 29:39Sean McAllister: I'm going to Ellis Island because they had that great deal for hundred dollar tickets to watch the race from the front yard.
- 29:47Dayna Roselli: Well, that's the thing, is we were over there interviewing Christina Ellis, and you were blown away by the deal that she mentioned.
- 29:52Dayna Roselli: So then you're like, I need to get tickets, and you did.
- 29:55Sean McAllister: Because they have a viewing platform set up out there for the Koval straightaway.
- 29:59Sean McAllister: You get the food, you get you know, beer and wine.
- 30:01Sean McAllister: It's all included in that price.
- 30:03Sean McAllister: I was like, yep, doing it.
- 30:04Sean McAllister: So yeah, um, next episode, I'll um share some some of that experience as well.
- 30:10Dayna Roselli: Okay, good.
- 30:11Dayna Roselli: Um, what else do we got going on?
- 30:13Dayna Roselli: I feel like we had a lot to talk about um when it comes to some of the things that we are going out to do.
- 30:19Dayna Roselli: So just FYI.
- 30:21Dayna Roselli: Um, as I mentioned, the Oasis Ice Rink is back at Fountain Blue.
- 30:24Dayna Roselli: That's opening November 24th.
- 30:27Dayna Roselli: So that's exciting.
- 30:28Dayna Roselli: Uh, what else has been announced?
- 30:29Dayna Roselli: Uh a chant is back at the Las Vegas ballpark.
- 30:32Dayna Roselli: If you love just like this winter wonderland with, you know, ice skating and and booths with food and crafts and beautiful lit up trees and themes.
- 30:43Sean McAllister: The uh cactus garden over at uh the Ethylm Chocolate Factory is going to be opening for this season as well, along with uh glittering lights, the drive-thru holiday attraction.
- 30:56Sean McAllister: I think they expanded that route through the Christmas light displays up to three miles now.
- 31:04Sean McAllister: Um plus there's a new drive-thru, uh, there's a few new holidays.
- 31:08Sean McAllister: There's one at M Resort, there's another one in Henderson, um, another drive-thru thing.
- 31:14Sean McAllister: I believe that's at um the Central Church that at that complex.
- 31:21Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 31:21Sean McAllister: Over there.
- 31:22Dayna Roselli: And the iconic Sand Aller Lounge is uh uh returning with the miracle on Spring Mountain holiday pop-up.
- 31:29Dayna Roselli: This is amazing over there.
- 31:31Dayna Roselli: We're going over to do an interview and check it out.
- 31:34Dayna Roselli: If you've never been, it's a favorite among locals.
- 31:37Dayna Roselli: Um, and so we're gonna dive into that and show you some of the cute things they they got going on.
- 31:42Dayna Roselli: They have cocktails and we're gonna get a little tour and it's really fun.
- 31:46Dayna Roselli: It's it's kind of off Spring Mountain, and I I don't mean to call it a dive bar, but I don't think they even care.
- 31:51Dayna Roselli: It's kind of a dive bar, which it's fun to see how they just it's like Christmas threw up in there.
- 31:56Dayna Roselli: I know you love it.
- 31:57Sean McAllister: I love it, it's so much fun, and they do such a good job.
- 32:00Sean McAllister: Uh also uh the next obviously we mentioned at the top of the show, we'll be off for Thanksgiving.
- 32:06Sean McAllister: But the following week, um, we'll have some a new interview about National Finals rodeo, which kicks off on December 3rd, goes through the 14th.
- 32:16Sean McAllister: So we'll have new stuff on that.
- 32:19Sean McAllister: Um there's a lot.
- 32:21Dayna Roselli: There's a lot.
- 32:23Sean McAllister: New restaurants, new interviews.
- 32:25Dayna Roselli: We're gonna head over and interview the president of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
- 32:29Dayna Roselli: He's got a busy week with F1, so we're gonna squeeze that in and then have that for you later and see what they've got new, you know, going on over there.
- 32:37Dayna Roselli: You know, it's a challenge for them because it used to be the hard rock, and uh they've changed over, but they've done so many fabulous things that we were like, you know what, we need to talk to Cliff over there at Virgin.
- 32:47Dayna Roselli: But we got more coming up and tips, so should we do that?
- 32:50Dayna Roselli: Now we've got deals for you.
- 32:58Sean McAllister: All right, so we are coming up to a time of year when it's all about all the marketing stuff out there, it's all about shopping, shopping, shopping, shopping, shopping, shopping, shopping.
- 33:10Sean McAllister: Buy now for the holidays, all this stuff.
- 33:13Sean McAllister: After Thanksgiving, obviously, we have Black Friday, which has kind of already started with all the early Black Friday deals.
- 33:19Sean McAllister: But there's Black Friday followed by Cyber Monday, and now there is Travel Tuesday.
- 33:25Dayna Roselli: What and I was like, what is Travel Tuesday?
- 33:28Sean McAllister: Well, we looked it up, and it is an unofficial shopping holiday where you get all the travel deals, hotel stays, flight deals, anything travel related.
- 33:41Sean McAllister: The Tuesday after Thanksgiving is apparently one of the best times to buy.
- 33:46Sean McAllister: Okay, according to all the marketing messages out there.
- 33:49Dayna Roselli: I will be the judge of that because I might actually open up the laptop on that Tuesday after Thanksgiving, just because now I'm curious.
- 33:56Dayna Roselli: Like, how good are the deals really?
- 33:58Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 33:59Dayna Roselli: But I don't know.
- 34:00Sean McAllister: Travel Tuesday maybe because we keep an eye on stuff pretty much year round.
- 34:03Dayna Roselli: We do.
- 34:04Dayna Roselli: I'm like, send me an email when there's a sale and then I'll go on, you know.
- 34:07Dayna Roselli: But um, yeah, there's a lot going on.
- 34:09Dayna Roselli: But listen, hey, if it we like travel Tuesday because that means we can get visitors to Las Vegas and make it easier for you to travel here.
- 34:17Dayna Roselli: So we're all for it.
- 34:18Dayna Roselli: So we did want to mention a couple different things.
- 34:20Dayna Roselli: MGM has uh a lot going on, and then uh going back to Fountain Blue from November 26th through December 3rd, guests can enjoy 20% off and a complimentary resort fees on all future available dates.
- 34:37Dayna Roselli: Um, and then with the rewards program, if you have that, you're going to receive 25% off and complimentary resort fees during the same booking window.
- 34:47Dayna Roselli: There are some blackout dates that apply, but this is all in kind of like mixed in with Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Travel Tuesday.
- 34:56Sean McAllister: Yes, they've turned Fountain Blue has turned it into an entire week of uh of time when you can take advantage of that deal.
- 35:03Sean McAllister: Wednesday the 26th through Wednesday, December 3rd, is when you can go to Fountain Blue's website to take advantage of their uh holiday deals.
- 35:13Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 35:13Dayna Roselli: And then MGM has a bunch going on.
- 35:15Dayna Roselli: So we we can't get like involved in like listing off everything.
- 35:19Dayna Roselli: Because there's a lot, there's a lot, but uh definitely check them out because they're doing like Black Friday Cyber Monday sales, they've got like up to 30% off room rates um for non-MGM rewards members and up to 150 food and beverage credits.
- 35:36Dayna Roselli: Um, you have to book between November 25th and December 5th for that.
- 35:41Dayna Roselli: And then they have like uh travel window details and stuff like that, two night minimums, but then they also have MGM reward members offers, and that's saving up to 40% on room, so that's a good deal too.
- 35:58Dayna Roselli: Um resorts include Bellagio Aria, the Cosmo, MGM Grand Mandalay Bay, W Las Vegas, Vidara, Park MGM, New York, New York, Luxor and Excalibur.
- 36:08Sean McAllister: And I also just got something in my email, Dana.
- 36:12Sean McAllister: Uh AEG, the concert promoter here in Las Vegas, uh, one of them.
- 36:17Sean McAllister: They're doing a Cyber Monday deal as well.
- 36:21Sean McAllister: Um, and actually the email says Cyber Monday has come early.
- 36:25Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 36:26Sean McAllister: So um you can select Pre-Cyber Monday.
- 36:29Sean McAllister: Pre-Cyber Monday.
- 36:30Sean McAllister: Select shows priced at two for$50 or$50 tickets.
- 36:37Sean McAllister: Um there's they have a bunch of they have a bunch of deals.
- 36:41Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 36:42Sean McAllister: And the the offer that they're running is uh valid now through uh December 1st.
- 36:49Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 36:50Sean McAllister: So click on go to AEG Las Vegas and just search that and the deal is gonna come up for you.
- 36:57Dayna Roselli: Love that.
- 36:58Dayna Roselli: And then for the MGM one, just go to MGMresorts.com, surf around, you'll see a little pop-up and it'll say Black Friday sale.
- 37:05Dayna Roselli: It'll you'll get guided to it.
- 37:06Dayna Roselli: So don't worry um for all these deals.
- 37:08Dayna Roselli: And and I know probably Caesars is gonna have something and other individual resorts will have something too.
- 37:14Dayna Roselli: So if you are planning to travel, because you know, a lot of times like when we go all the way back to let's just say to the new kids on the block residency, right?
- 37:21Dayna Roselli: Like now, if they're like fans of New Kids on the Block, like, oh great, now I can see them because it's in the summer.
- 37:27Dayna Roselli: I'm gonna go in July.
- 37:28Dayna Roselli: Then you start to think about, well, what else can I do when I'm there?
- 37:31Dayna Roselli: And when can I book my room and how can I save?
- 37:34Dayna Roselli: Because then they build a whole itinerary around it.
- 37:37Dayna Roselli: And so people can start building, and you know, and we have a lot of other headliners coming, a lot of other shows coming.
- 37:43Dayna Roselli: You might build around that.
- 37:44Dayna Roselli: I have friends coming in for um was Zach Brown at the sphere.
- 37:47Sean McAllister: Oh, yeah.
- 37:48Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and they're building the her, okay, we're gonna stay at Fountain Blue.
- 37:51Dayna Roselli: We're what should we see?
- 37:52Dayna Roselli: Where should we eat?
- 37:53Dayna Roselli: We've got two, three days.
- 37:55Dayna Roselli: What can we pack in there?
- 37:57Sean McAllister: That's so funny.
- 37:58Sean McAllister: I had a family friend text me that she and her boyfriend are coming into town for Zach Brown also.
- 38:06Sean McAllister: And so I sent I texted back an entire itinerary of possibilities for them.
- 38:11Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 38:11Dayna Roselli: It's me the same thing.
- 38:13Dayna Roselli: Because when people are like, Where should I go?
- 38:15Dayna Roselli: I'm like, okay, here's the deal.
- 38:16Dayna Roselli: Don't ever send me where should I go.
- 38:18Dayna Roselli: There needs to be details.
- 38:19Sean McAllister: That's like an emotion coming from outer space, landing on Earth and saying, What should I do?
- 38:27Sean McAllister: Well, guess what?
- 38:28Sean McAllister: You have the entire earth to explore.
- 38:30Sean McAllister: And it's the same thing here in Vegas.
- 38:32Sean McAllister: You have the in all entirety of Las Vegas to explore.
- 38:35Sean McAllister: Seriously.
- 38:36Sean McAllister: And we need to know your specific taste, your budget, your time frame, expense.
- 38:44Sean McAllister: There's a lot to take into it.
- 38:46Dayna Roselli: There's a lot to take into it.
- 38:49Dayna Roselli: It's so true.
- 38:50Dayna Roselli: We did a a segment on CBS LA this morning, and you know, they were like, wow, there's just always so much going on in Vegas.
- 38:57Dayna Roselli: They always make that comment.
- 38:58Dayna Roselli: It's like they're in the number two market in the country.
- 39:01Dayna Roselli: It's LA la la land.
- 39:03Dayna Roselli: And they also think we have a lot going on here.
- 39:06Dayna Roselli: And we do.
- 39:07Sean McAllister: And we do.
- 39:07Sean McAllister: I even our colleagues were like, man, we we whenever we think that there's gonna be uh a slowdown of events, things opening, all that kind of stuff, shows, new shows.
- 39:20Sean McAllister: Um there there's not a slowdown anymore.
- 39:24Sean McAllister: It's like all the slow weeks are being filled with new things that bring more people into town.
- 39:31Dayna Roselli: Mm-hmm.
- 39:31Dayna Roselli: It's so true.
- 39:32Dayna Roselli: And it's like there is so much to do.
- 39:36Dayna Roselli: It's hard to but like my friend Jeff that came in for the new kids in the wizard of oz, which started the whole all the other girls coming in, he ran around.
- 39:44Dayna Roselli: He had an itiner he had his own itinerary too.
- 39:46Dayna Roselli: He did a few things by himself.
- 39:48Dayna Roselli: He went to the Friends Experience, loved it.
- 39:50Dayna Roselli: Oh, good.
- 39:51Dayna Roselli: Yep, he went to Friends Experience.
- 39:52Sean McAllister: That's so good.
- 39:53Sean McAllister: That's such a good one.
- 39:54Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it is.
- 39:55Dayna Roselli: He loved that he went to because he's very into nostalgia, as you can tell, Wizard of Oz, New Kids on the Block.
- 39:59Dayna Roselli: So he went to Friends Experience, he went to the the Blockheads pop-up experience outside Park MGM before the new kids concert.
- 40:07Dayna Roselli: Uh met a bunch of the other fans there.
- 40:10Dayna Roselli: Um, he also went to see Mad Apple in New York, New York.
- 40:14Dayna Roselli: He had a friend uh that was doing the stand-up comedy in the show that night.
- 40:19Dayna Roselli: So he went over and saw Mad Apple.
- 40:21Dayna Roselli: Uh, we all went to the Venetian, I forgot to say, and to look at, I wanted to show my friend St.
- 40:25Dayna Roselli: Mark's Square and the gondolas, and we had lunch at the Mexican place there, I forget what it's called, but it was delicious.
- 40:31Dayna Roselli: Um, but yeah, I mean, there are you gotta build in what you want to do.
- 40:35Dayna Roselli: And by the way, it's fine to do some of these things alone because everyone's here, they're in groups, there's people.
- 40:41Dayna Roselli: And so if you are set on doing something and you come with a group and your friends don't want to do it, go do it yourself.
- 40:46Sean McAllister: Absolutely.
- 40:46Dayna Roselli: And then we'll meet up at four o'clock or whatever, you know?
- 40:49Dayna Roselli: So, um, but what I'm saying is everyone has different tastes.
- 40:53Dayna Roselli: So when you say, What do you want to, where do you want to go?
- 40:55Sean McAllister: Like that's a whole it opens up a whole can of worms.
- 40:59Dayna Roselli: Like, I might not have built that I to built that itinerary for Jeff if I didn't know that he loves nostalgia.
- 41:04Sean McAllister: Exactly.
- 41:06Dayna Roselli: Maybe say I love sports.
- 41:07Dayna Roselli: I want okay, great, then go to the the hall of excellence while you're at Fountain Blue.
- 41:11Sean McAllister: And do a tour of Allegiant Stadium, exactly.
- 41:14Dayna Roselli: And see, go to the Raideret, you know, the history of the Raiderettes and like all sorts of stuff.
- 41:19Dayna Roselli: So yeah.
- 41:20Dayna Roselli: But anyway, um, we're happy everyone's coming.
- 41:22Dayna Roselli: But yes, when you send Sean and I uh a text or an email or a note, please give us specifics cost, vibe, where, do you want to walk there?
- 41:32Dayna Roselli: What do you want to do?
- 41:33Sean McAllister: What kind of cuisine do you want to stay on the strip?
- 41:36Sean McAllister: Do you want to venture off the strip?
- 41:37Sean McAllister: Do you want to go to the arts district?
- 41:39Sean McAllister: Do you want to do Fremont?
- 41:41Dayna Roselli: Do you want to people watch?
- 41:42Dayna Roselli: That's a big thing.
- 41:42Sean McAllister: Oh, people watching is great.
- 41:44Dayna Roselli: Do you want it romantic?
- 41:45Sean McAllister: You know what's funny?
- 41:46Sean McAllister: When we were out at the pool, there were um these two ladies sitting next to us uh at the at the pool.
- 41:55Sean McAllister: There were two open chairs next to them.
- 41:57Sean McAllister: And when we walked up, we were like, Oh, are these chairs open?
- 42:02Sean McAllister: They're like, Yeah, but you're gonna have to talk with us.
- 42:05Sean McAllister: And we were like, Well, if you're okay with people watching together, then we're gonna get along fine.
- 42:11Sean McAllister: And they were like, Great, that's what we love to do.
- 42:16Dayna Roselli: Isn't that funny?
- 42:17Sean McAllister: It is, and we had a great time.
- 42:18Sean McAllister: They were they were fun, and they were making friends with everyone who sat down around us.
- 42:22Dayna Roselli: Right, gosh.
- 42:23Sean McAllister: They were in from Houston and they were fantastic.
- 42:25Sean McAllister: We loved them a lot.
- 42:26Dayna Roselli: You keep talking about them, they were a lot of fun.
- 42:28Dayna Roselli: They said they were gonna listen to the podcast and give us five stars, right?
- 42:30Sean McAllister: They did.
- 42:31Dayna Roselli: Oh, okay, good.
- 42:32Sean McAllister: They did.
- 42:33Sean McAllister: Well, they said that.
- 42:34Sean McAllister: Okay, but they said I don't know if we've gotten the five stars yet.
- 42:37Sean McAllister: But pressure.
- 42:38Sean McAllister: I told them.
- 42:39Sean McAllister: Um, she opened up her phone right there and and followed us.
- 42:42Dayna Roselli: So subscribers, we like that.

- 43:12Sean McAllister: 300 episodes.
- 43:13Dayna Roselli: And we always said since the beginning we were gonna have a party.
- 43:17Sean McAllister: We never have.
- 43:18Sean McAllister: We were gonna have a party for the 100th episode.
- 43:21Sean McAllister: Then we're like, oh no, let's do it for 200.
- 43:24Sean McAllister: Now 300 is like knocking on our door, and there's not a party planned.
- 43:28Dayna Roselli: Well, so somebody can plan a party for us.
- 43:30Dayna Roselli: How about that?
- 43:31Dayna Roselli: We shouldn't plan our own party.
- 43:33Sean McAllister: Let's plan.
