- 0:02Speaker 1: On Skye Leeds, Australia. This is the Wider Panalty Show.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Good evening and welcome to the Rita Panehy Show. Coming
- 0:11Speaker 2: up tonight, Australia's relationship with Israel. I'm the furthest strain
- 0:16Speaker 2: after Penny Wong's ill advised commentary on the conflict with Iran,
- 0:20Speaker 2: the war's impact on oil prices already being felt. Professor
- 0:24Speaker 2: Ian Plymer will weigh in on that issue, and Army
- 0:27Speaker 2: Horowitz will join me with the latest from the US,
- 0:30Speaker 2: including the democracy denying no King's protests, and later in
- 0:35Speaker 2: the hour we'll have the latest celebrity and royal news,
- 0:38Speaker 2: including the famous singer who took a stand against the
- 0:41Speaker 2: anti Trump protesters and left. He's losing. It is a
- 0:45Speaker 2: little extra unhinged today thanks to the likes of Hollywood
- 0:49Speaker 2: clown Mark Ruffalo.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Lads Putin and Nat Yahoo and King Jong on of
- 0:55Speaker 3: the world.
- 0:57Speaker 2: But first, Australia's relationship with Israel has deteriorated further after
- 1:02Speaker 2: Foreign Mister Penniwong advised Israel to de escalate. Here she
- 1:07Speaker 2: is on the ABC.
- 1:08Speaker 4: We urge de escalation, we urge restraint, we urge dialogue
- 1:13Speaker 4: and diplomacy. What we have to do now is to
- 1:16Speaker 4: de escalate and exercise restraint, and we have to return
- 1:19Speaker 4: to dialogue now.
- 1:20Speaker 2: In the ours following that statement, while not naming Pennywong specifically,
- 1:25Speaker 2: Israel's ambassador to Australia issued a statement of his own,
- 1:29Speaker 2: rubbishing cause for dialogue, Ammaymon wrote, History has shown what
- 1:34Speaker 2: happens when the world ignores regimes that preach hatred, promise annihilation,
- 1:40Speaker 2: and are left to build the means to carry it out.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Iran isn't hiding its intent, it declares it, and it's
- 1:46Speaker 2: building the weapons to fulfill it. He added, Yet some
- 1:50Speaker 2: still urge diplomacy as if words can stop warheads. We
- 1:55Speaker 2: have a duty to act to protect our people. Joining
- 1:59Speaker 2: me now for more on this. As senior fellow and
- 2:01Speaker 2: chief Economists of the Institute of Public Affairs, Adam Criight
- 2:04Speaker 2: and Adam, I don't understand why Penny Wong feels the
- 2:07Speaker 2: need to pour salt into these wounds. We've already got
- 2:11Speaker 2: a strained relationship with Israel, we have a strained relationship
- 2:15Speaker 2: with America, and we're on the verge of the Prime
- 2:19Speaker 2: minister meeting with President Trump.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Yeah. Look, I mean, I think firstly, it's funny.
- 2:23Speaker 5: I think what Australia urges things cover about politics on
- 2:26Speaker 5: the other side of the world.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I mean, I did read someone that she was trying.
- 2:29Speaker 5: To get a phone call with the Iranian fram just
- 2:31Speaker 5: to do I mean, I'm sure, I'm sure he really
- 2:32Speaker 5: wants to take that call.
- 2:34Speaker 1: But yeah, look, I.
- 2:34Speaker 5: Mean I think the well, I can perfectly understand why
- 2:37Speaker 5: the Israeli ambassador is quite upset with Australia. I mean,
- 2:39Speaker 5: you know, we are meant to be close friends with Israel,
- 2:41Speaker 5: and you know, you can't really both sides this conflict.
- 2:44Speaker 5: I mean, as you pointed out just then, I mean,
- 2:46Speaker 5: Iran has been saying for decades that it wants to
- 2:48Speaker 5: destroy Israel completely, and it was very close, as we've
- 2:52Speaker 5: you know, as we've heard not just from Israel itself,
- 2:54Speaker 5: mind you, but from the International Atomic Energy Agency, it
- 2:57Speaker 5: was very close to getting a nuclear bomb. So you know,
- 3:00Speaker 5: you put those two facts together and you can completely
- 3:02Speaker 5: understand why Israel has lashed out right and absolutely, you know,
- 3:05Speaker 5: I mean we would have done the same thing.
- 3:06Speaker 1: I think in similar circumstances any country would.
- 3:09Speaker 5: And so I think this language that kind of sees
- 3:12Speaker 5: both of the countries equal is just not satisfaction.
- 3:15Speaker 2: And our most important ally, the one we've also got
- 3:18Speaker 2: a growing strange relationship with America, has been quite clear
- 3:23Speaker 2: in standing with Israel in improving of this action. So
- 3:28Speaker 2: again we've come out against. It's just a very.
- 3:32Speaker 1: At the same time, the orchest Review is happening.
- 3:34Speaker 2: At the same time as the Orchestra Review on the
- 3:36Speaker 2: verge of the Prime Minister meeting with President Trump to
- 3:39Speaker 2: talk about tariffs and trade and Aucus, why would you
- 3:44Speaker 2: create further angst unnecessarily when you're achieving nothing. No one
- 3:49Speaker 2: in Israel, no one in Iran cares what money Wong
- 3:51Speaker 2: says exactly.
- 3:52Speaker 5: So this is just after we censored those two Israeli
- 3:56Speaker 5: ministers too, which was complete virtue signaling. I mean, they
- 3:59Speaker 5: weren't coming here anyway. No, You're putting a travel ban
- 4:01Speaker 5: on them. Is completely ridiculous.
- 4:02Speaker 6: And look, you know.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Marco Rubio put out a statement condemning the action. I
- 4:06Speaker 2: mean to have the Secretary of State condemning Australia's actions again,
- 4:12Speaker 2: not a great position for Australia when we need America
- 4:15Speaker 2: to assist us, and they've also asked us to increase
- 4:18Speaker 2: our defense spending and we've said no, thank you. So
- 4:21Speaker 2: it's going to be very interesting to see how this
- 4:24Speaker 2: meeting with Donald Trump is going.
- 4:26Speaker 6: Meeting.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I think it's going to be very short.
- 4:28Speaker 5: Apparently on the sidelines, it's not eight minutes of that
- 4:30Speaker 5: eight minutes will be hello and you know, shaking hands,
- 4:33Speaker 5: et cetera. So I mean, if I was elbow, I'd
- 4:36Speaker 5: be quite stressed out about this meeting. But as you say,
- 4:37Speaker 5: the backdrop's not good.
- 4:39Speaker 2: No, and there is a lot on the line for
- 4:41Speaker 2: the country, Adam. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade
- 4:45Speaker 2: has been criticized for its poor efforts in supporting stranded
- 4:49Speaker 2: Australians in Israel. Some have labeled defacts communication shambolic after
- 4:55Speaker 2: an evacuation email was sent out which contained an incorrect link. Adam,
- 5:01Speaker 2: It's it's a worrying time for Australians stranded in the
- 5:04Speaker 2: region and their families back home. The last thing you
- 5:07Speaker 2: need is emails from DFAT with links that don't work.
- 5:11Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Look, it's one of the largest apartments.
- 5:12Speaker 5: I understanding camera, you know when you include all the
- 5:14Speaker 5: staff around the world, so you would think that they
- 5:16Speaker 5: could get that right.
- 5:18Speaker 1: But yeah, it's actually surprised me, to be honest, that
- 5:20Speaker 1: there were so many strainers there in the first place.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I don't know what was going on with advisories there.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I've got friends there.
- 5:25Speaker 5: You've got friends there who've been in bunkers, and they
- 5:28Speaker 5: were there during a pretty volatile, dangerous time. So let's
- 5:31Speaker 5: hope everything's fine, but let's also hope that they can
- 5:34Speaker 5: get out quickly this it has been a fiasco.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Now we will have more on the impact of this
- 5:38Speaker 2: conflict on energy markets with Professor im Plymer. But Israel's
- 5:42Speaker 2: now set its sites beyond Iran's nuclear facilities by launching
- 5:46Speaker 2: attacks on major gas and oil sites, including some of
- 5:50Speaker 2: the largest in the world. Meanwhile, the reports that Israel
- 5:54Speaker 2: had communicated to Donald Trump a plan to kill Iran's
- 5:57Speaker 2: supreme leader, Aotola Ali Komane, which the US President oppose,
- 6:03Speaker 2: leading to the plan not being executed. Adam Donald Trump
- 6:07Speaker 2: does not want the US heavily involved in this conflict.
- 6:11Speaker 2: He clearly stands with Israel. He condones what's happening, but
- 6:16Speaker 2: he knows his supporters, a sizeable number of them, do
- 6:21Speaker 2: not want to America involved in another war.
- 6:24Speaker 3: No.
- 6:24Speaker 5: Look, it's a very difficult needle to thread for him
- 6:26Speaker 5: at the moment, because he certainly does support Israel.
- 6:30Speaker 1: That is very clear.
- 6:30Speaker 5: But as you point out, I would say probably more
- 6:32Speaker 5: than half of the Trump base are very anti war.
- 6:36Speaker 1: There's the old Reagan Bush side, but that's probably about
- 6:38Speaker 1: a third of the party.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Now, I would say, yeah, the warhawks power and influence
- 6:42Speaker 2: is diminishing.
- 6:43Speaker 5: Well, it's much greater in mainstream media than it is
- 6:45Speaker 5: amongst the ordinary supporters.
- 6:46Speaker 1: They are really anti war, and I can understand why.
- 6:49Speaker 5: There's been a lot of wars, you know, in the
- 6:50Speaker 5: last twenty years or so America's been involved in which
- 6:52Speaker 5: have not gone well.
- 6:54Speaker 1: So let's just see what happens. I mean, I think Israel.
- 6:57Speaker 5: I mean, you know, I'm no military expert, but certainly
- 6:59Speaker 5: Israel as what they call escalatory dominance.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Basically it's going to win.
- 7:04Speaker 5: And that's even without the US, I think, because ultimately
- 7:06Speaker 5: it's got more missiles, has got more planes, and of
- 7:09Speaker 5: course it probably has nuclear weapons too, which Iron knows
- 7:12Speaker 5: and in a very extreme case, you know, that's a
- 7:14Speaker 5: major threat.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Absolutely, and it's going to also be fascinating to see
- 7:19Speaker 2: whether they stop at Iran not being able to create
- 7:24Speaker 2: or develop a nuclear weapon, or whether they're going to
- 7:27Speaker 2: push ahead for regime change, because well.
- 7:30Speaker 5: That's the best outcome, right, but it has to happen organically, right,
- 7:33Speaker 5: the ragime has to collapse right of its owner.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Course, that would be the wonderful outcome.
- 7:37Speaker 2: And that would have to be led by the Iranian people.
- 7:40Speaker 2: And on that Elon Musk's Starling satellite internet service is
- 7:44Speaker 2: now active in Iran. Elon Musk made that happen after
- 7:48Speaker 2: the Iranian regime imposed nationwide internet restrictions. Adam hugely important
- 7:54Speaker 2: for the Iranian people. You cannot have a revolution, you
- 7:59Speaker 2: cannot overthrow that regime with internet being cut throughout the country.
- 8:04Speaker 2: So this is really a way from the Iranian people
- 8:06Speaker 2: to stay connected and perhaps have a shot at having
- 8:12Speaker 2: nationwide protests. But as we have seen in the past,
- 8:15Speaker 2: the Iranian regime is absolutely brutal in it is brutal
- 8:20Speaker 2: in clamping down on those protests. Well, it just to
- 8:24Speaker 2: see that happen.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Well, look, I mean I hope so I just checked
- 8:27Speaker 1: before I came on the show.
- 8:28Speaker 5: But GDP per person has gone by, it has fallen
- 8:32Speaker 5: by fifty percent there in just ten years in Iran.
- 8:34Speaker 1: So I mean, how could it be a popular regime,
- 8:36Speaker 1: it must be hated.
- 8:37Speaker 5: I mean, it's a very poor country, and yet it
- 8:39Speaker 5: should be very rich. I mean it's huge, it's got
- 8:41Speaker 5: ninety million people, it's filled with resources, it's got beautiful mountains, rivers.
- 8:46Speaker 5: You know, there's no reason why it should be so poor.
- 8:48Speaker 5: So let's hope that they can use starlink to coordinate.
- 8:51Speaker 1: And just on Elon Musk, I mean, he's a bit
- 8:53Speaker 1: of a hero here. Really, he's criticized for this and that, but.
- 8:55Speaker 5: Looks, you know, he's he's turned on these beans, probably
- 8:58Speaker 5: at great cost to himself. And who knows, maybe it
- 9:02Speaker 5: will work, maybe it will see the end of the regiame.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Well, what can only hope. So but we have seen
- 9:07Speaker 2: some footage come out of Iran which is incredible to
- 9:10Speaker 2: see the Uranian people celebrating the attacks against the regime,
- 9:16Speaker 2: even though obviously innocent people have died in these attacks.
- 9:21Speaker 2: They want to see the end of the Muller's rain.
- 9:23Speaker 2: They've been in power now of what more than forty
- 9:26Speaker 2: five years. Now, Let's turn our attention to Victoria, a
- 9:30Speaker 2: one hundred million dollar fund that was set up by
- 9:32Speaker 2: the City of Melbourne seven years ago to help East
- 9:34Speaker 2: traffic jams when thousands of extra cars pour into Melbourne
- 9:38Speaker 2: from the new Westgate tunnel. Well, that money has barely
- 9:42Speaker 2: been spent. And what they have spent spent, Adam, they
- 9:46Speaker 2: have spent on bike lanes. Yes, not road capacity upgrades
- 9:51Speaker 2: as we expected, but more bike lanes and nobody uses.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Just it's pretty outragious. That's a deliction of duty.
- 10:00Speaker 5: It's one of the fundamental things of state government to
- 10:01Speaker 5: get the right you know, to get public transport working
- 10:03Speaker 5: and effective.
- 10:04Speaker 1: And also this is a state that has something like
- 10:06Speaker 1: one hundred and.
- 10:06Speaker 5: Sixty billion dollars of debt, so the roads should be
- 10:08Speaker 5: paved with gold, not filled with potholes.
- 10:12Speaker 2: There are a lot of potholes. Anyone who has driven
- 10:15Speaker 2: in Victoria in recent years would tell you about the
- 10:19Speaker 2: condition of our roads. And I think it's that massive
- 10:22Speaker 2: debt you mentioned that has really put a spanner in
- 10:27Speaker 2: the works. They can't afford to fix. They're spending a
- 10:30Speaker 2: fraction of the money they should be on roads.
- 10:32Speaker 5: And you know, there's a separate story around recently two
- 10:34Speaker 5: about Victorian roads that they're spending the same amount, the
- 10:37Speaker 5: same amount of money trying to fix them, but the
- 10:39Speaker 5: amount of roads that are actually being fixed has fallen
- 10:41Speaker 5: by sixty six percent. And that's because construction costs in
- 10:45Speaker 5: the unionized workforce have just gone through the roof.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Totally unacceptable.
- 10:49Speaker 5: I mean even Rod Simmons himself said years ago that
- 10:51Speaker 5: construction costs in Victoria were roughly thirty percent more than
- 10:54Speaker 5: they should be.
- 10:55Speaker 1: So this is all the feather betting of the union workforce.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Yeah, only people who are happy in this state the moment,
- 11:00Speaker 2: the union, Adam christ and thank you so much for
- 11:03Speaker 2: your time tonight. Now we've already started to see the
- 11:06Speaker 2: impact of the Israel Iran war on oil prices. They
- 11:10Speaker 2: jumped around three percent of the weekend after Israeli drones
- 11:13Speaker 2: struck the South Pass gas field in southern Iran, one
- 11:17Speaker 2: of the largest natural gas fields in the world, as
- 11:20Speaker 2: well as two natural gas processing facilities, according to Iranian
- 11:24Speaker 2: state media. Meanwhile, Iranian missiles damaged a major oil refinery
- 11:29Speaker 2: in Haifa. Joining me now is a steam geologist and author,
- 11:32Speaker 2: Professor Ian Plymer in what impact will a prolonged war
- 11:37Speaker 2: with Iran have on oil prices and will we feel
- 11:40Speaker 2: it domestically here?
- 11:42Speaker 7: We're now producing oil from different places. A lot of
- 11:46Speaker 7: it is coming from fracking in the US. In terms
- 11:49Speaker 7: of gas, it's Qatar, Australia and the US the big
- 11:52Speaker 7: gas producers. Iran's much smaller in terms of oil.
- 11:58Speaker 8: Well, if the Straights.
- 12:00Speaker 7: Of Whom was a shut, then China doesn't get oil.
- 12:04Speaker 7: Our oil comes from many other places, so it might
- 12:08Speaker 7: push up the price, and the price has been relatively
- 12:10Speaker 7: low for quite a while. It might push it up
- 12:13Speaker 7: to more historical levels. So at this stage we're not
- 12:16Speaker 7: seeing too much of an effect. At this stage, the
- 12:20Speaker 7: gas producers like the US and Australia and Katara will
- 12:23Speaker 7: benefit from it.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Well, could we be a gas producing superpower? We have
- 12:29Speaker 2: plenty of the stuff, we don't do the exploration perhaps,
- 12:32Speaker 2: but is that an opportunity for Australia to really take
- 12:37Speaker 2: advantage of those natural resources.
- 12:40Speaker 7: Oh, we could easily be a superpower for guess. The
- 12:43Speaker 7: problem is that we have governments that aren't superpowers. They're
- 12:46Speaker 7: not very smart and in this state Victoria, they have
- 12:50Speaker 7: really stuffed it up. Queensland's a bit better. But we
- 12:55Speaker 7: need decent government and decent regulations and we could easily
- 12:59Speaker 7: become a guest superpower. It takes time. It takes time.
- 13:02Speaker 7: From getting a tenement, to drilling the wells, to getting
- 13:05Speaker 7: the compression stations, to getting the pipelines. That takes time,
- 13:10Speaker 7: and that will be the case in Iran because it
- 13:12Speaker 7: will take a long time to repair the damage.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Yes, Victoria in particular, given the perilous financial state we
- 13:19Speaker 2: have in this state, with the biggest debt in the country,
- 13:24Speaker 2: we could well do with some gas exports and the
- 13:27Speaker 2: royalties that would come. Now. I don't know if Chris
- 13:30Speaker 2: Bowen is a fan of that. Let's check in with
- 13:33Speaker 2: everyone's favorite energy minister. He's not only a fan of
- 13:37Speaker 2: green energy, he also loves promoting free money. Here is
- 13:40Speaker 2: talking about the government's plan to force taxpayers to cover
- 13:45Speaker 2: students hextet.
- 13:46Speaker 9: You probably also noticed that your hextet was indexed on
- 13:49Speaker 9: the first a duty. Here's what you need to know.
- 13:52Speaker 10: Don't worry about.
- 13:53Speaker 9: It because we had a federal election. Parliament w's it
- 13:56Speaker 9: until July. But when parliament's h's our first law that
- 14:00Speaker 9: will pass through Parliament will be to cut hex debt
- 14:02Speaker 9: by twenty percent.
- 14:04Speaker 2: He goes on to talk about how those cuts are
- 14:07Speaker 2: going to be backdated. It's all just magical free money
- 14:11Speaker 2: that just appears happy days well, his market.
- 14:16Speaker 7: In that little clip on social media are young people.
- 14:20Speaker 7: And these young people have got to realize that the
- 14:23Speaker 7: free money today that they're getting, they'll pay for tomorrow
- 14:27Speaker 7: with spade on it. And it also creates a massive injustice.
- 14:32Speaker 7: Some people have done the right thing, paid back the
- 14:35Speaker 7: hex's debt, worked the guts out to do that, and
- 14:39Speaker 7: then all of a sudden, others who don't do that
- 14:43Speaker 7: are getting free money. So it's blatantly unfair. It's going
- 14:47Speaker 7: to come and bite people because people who are young
- 14:52Speaker 7: love the free money idea. Who pays, they'll ultimately pay.
- 14:57Speaker 2: And this is ex straight from the Biden Kamala Harris' playbook.
- 15:02Speaker 2: This is the sort of nonsense they ran with and
- 15:05Speaker 2: part of the reason why they lost. But Labor, sadly
- 15:08Speaker 2: we don't have an opposition that really took it up
- 15:11Speaker 2: to them at the last election. Now let's talk about
- 15:14Speaker 2: Twiggy Forests. Billionaire Tiggy Forest. Here's a green energy advocate,
- 15:18Speaker 2: and he wants taxpayers to fund increased compensation for those
- 15:23Speaker 2: who live within ten kilometers of wind farms in is
- 15:27Speaker 2: this a sound proposal? We keep hearing about how unpopular
- 15:30Speaker 2: these wind farms are how they're devastating regional communities. Is
- 15:37Speaker 2: taxpayers money the solution to.
- 15:38Speaker 6: That, Well, it's not.
- 15:40Speaker 7: And this is an acknowledgment that the wind turbines damage people.
- 15:44Speaker 7: The wind turbines are blight on the horizon, the wind
- 15:47Speaker 7: turbines pollute the ground. It will be far better to
- 15:52Speaker 7: actually have a reliable energy system, which we once had
- 15:56Speaker 7: and it was cheap, and that was cole. You can't
- 15:59Speaker 7: guarantee the wind's going to blow all the time. We
- 16:02Speaker 7: have these wind roughts and you just don't get energy.
- 16:05Speaker 7: So it's not the sort of energy we need for
- 16:07Speaker 7: an industrial power. We need energy density, which you get
- 16:11Speaker 7: from uranium, you get it from coal, you get it
- 16:14Speaker 7: from oil, and we need to have a twenty four
- 16:16Speaker 7: to seven and we need a huge amount of energy
- 16:19Speaker 7: if we're going to foster AI centers, if we're going
- 16:22Speaker 7: to have data centers, we need much more energy than
- 16:25Speaker 7: we've got now.
- 16:26Speaker 2: And before you go, also on two years, join the
- 16:30Speaker 2: likes of Blake Lively, Demi Moore, Serena Williams, former gymnast
- 16:35Speaker 2: Simone Biles. They're all on Times one hundred most Influential
- 16:39Speaker 2: People list. I didn't realize he'd made the list in
- 16:43Speaker 2: he's the only Australian to make the cut, and the
- 16:45Speaker 2: magazine claims that's because of his determination to show cutting
- 16:50Speaker 2: emissions and profits can go hand in hand. Andrew is
- 16:54Speaker 2: the kind of pioneering business leader the world needs today.
- 16:59Speaker 11: Is that right?
- 17:00Speaker 2: Can cutting emissions and profit go hand in hand with
- 17:03Speaker 2: that taxpayer money? I'm just asking, I'm not.
- 17:05Speaker 6: Talking about asking for a friend.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Yes, of course not.
- 17:11Speaker 7: He is getting this recognition because he's pushing his high
- 17:15Speaker 7: public profile with crazy schemes that have been shown to
- 17:19Speaker 7: be an economic like green hydrogen, green steel. Now he's
- 17:24Speaker 7: in the wind and basically this is not creating cheap
- 17:28Speaker 7: energy for the community. This is attracting taxpayers money from
- 17:33Speaker 7: a compliant government and charging people a huge amount for
- 17:38Speaker 7: the energy and he would be the beneficiary. So he's
- 17:42Speaker 7: been very successful at demonstrating what systems don't work and
- 17:46Speaker 7: maybe he should get credit for that.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Well, he's made the list. I'm sure he'd be invited
- 17:51Speaker 2: to lots of ritzy parties with who was on that list,
- 17:55Speaker 2: Blake Lively. She's not exactly had a great year, Blake
- 17:58Speaker 2: not very Lively either, Professor Implyman, thanks for your time,
- 18:02Speaker 2: Thank you still to Karma. Lefties losing it Plus the
- 18:06Speaker 2: latest from the US including the democracy denying No King's protests.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Army Horowitz has the details. You're watching the Reader Panny Show,
- 18:23Speaker 2: and it's time for lefties losing it. Let's start with
- 18:27Speaker 2: democrats being democracy denying insurrectionists. Fancy having no King's rallies.
- 18:33Speaker 2: You don't have a king. You have a duly elected
- 18:36Speaker 2: president who won the election in a landslide against the
- 18:40Speaker 2: candidate you undemocratically installed. Remember Kamala and that sham process.
- 18:46Speaker 2: We certainly do. And there were plenty of celebrity idiots
- 18:50Speaker 2: at these rallies, including the dangerously stupid Mark Ruffalo.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Lakes of Putin and Nat Yahoo, and King Jung On.
- 18:59Speaker 6: Of the world.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Also at the rally worthy likes of Susan Sarandon, Julie
- 19:05Speaker 2: Louis Dreyfus, Glenn Close, and the funniest man on the planet,
- 19:11Speaker 2: Jimmy Kimmel. Sadly, Eva Longoria couldn't be there, but she
- 19:15Speaker 2: recorded this message earlier.
- 19:17Speaker 12: Every time I try to record a message, I just
- 19:19Speaker 12: start crying and then I don't want it to be
- 19:21Speaker 12: about me and my emotions about it. But it's just
- 19:24Speaker 12: so inhuman.
- 19:27Speaker 11: Hard to watch.
- 19:28Speaker 6: It's hard.
- 19:29Speaker 12: It's hard to witness from afar. I can't imagine what
- 19:32Speaker 12: it's like to be in Los Angeles right now. I
- 19:34Speaker 12: can't believe it's happening in Austin, Texas. I can't believe
- 19:37Speaker 12: it's happening all over the country. The commons and people's
- 19:40Speaker 12: reactions to it is really surprising to me because it
- 19:43Speaker 12: is Unamerican.
- 19:45Speaker 2: She's shocked by people's reactions. These people really do exist
- 19:49Speaker 2: in a parallel universe. The deportation program, as we discussed
- 19:53Speaker 2: at link last week, is enormously popular. Trump campaigned on it,
- 19:57Speaker 2: he won on it, he has a mandate, and the
- 20:00Speaker 2: a group who have swung most strongly in support of
- 20:02Speaker 2: his tough immigration policies are immigrants themselves legal ones. But
- 20:08Speaker 2: the question has to be asked, what is it with
- 20:10Speaker 2: Democrats and violence? They cannot even hold a dumb democracy
- 20:14Speaker 2: denying rally without turning on each other. Let's check what
- 20:18Speaker 2: happened in Salt Lake City, Utah. Oh my god, that's
- 20:27Speaker 2: a gun. That's a gun.
- 20:29Speaker 11: Come on, come on, get out, get over here. Yay,
- 20:36Speaker 11: come here.
- 20:38Speaker 2: According to police, a man who was believed to be
- 20:40Speaker 2: part of a peacekeeping team for the No King's protest
- 20:45Speaker 2: shot at another person at that rally, Toro Gamboa, who
- 20:50Speaker 2: was brandishing a rifle for some reason, and this No
- 20:54Speaker 2: King's peacekeeping team member managed to strike both the riflemen
- 20:59Speaker 2: and an innocent by stander, who tragically later died at hospital.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Now Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivy has no time for
- 21:07Speaker 2: lawless writers, those incapable of holding a peaceful protest. Here
- 21:12Speaker 2: he tells them precisely what will happen if they tried
- 21:15Speaker 2: that sort of crap in Florida.
- 21:18Speaker 13: If you resist loft lorders, you're going to jail. Let
- 21:22Speaker 13: me be very clear about that. If you block an
- 21:24Speaker 13: intersection or a roadway in Brevard County, you are going
- 21:28Speaker 13: to jail. If you flee arrest, you're going to go
- 21:31Speaker 13: to jail tired, because we are going to run you
- 21:33Speaker 13: down and put you in jail. If you try to
- 21:36Speaker 13: mob rule a car in Brevard County gathering around it
- 21:40Speaker 13: refusing to let the driver leave in our county, you're
- 21:43Speaker 13: most likely going to get run over and dragged across
- 21:46Speaker 13: the street. If you spit on us, you're going to
- 21:50Speaker 13: the hospital and in jail. If you hit one of us.
- 21:54Speaker 13: You're going to the hospital and jail and most likely
- 21:57Speaker 13: get bitten by one of our big, beautiful dogs that
- 22:00Speaker 13: we have here. If throw a brick, a firebomb, or
- 22:04Speaker 13: pointed gun at one of our deputies, we will be
- 22:07Speaker 13: notifying your family where to collect your remains at because
- 22:10Speaker 13: we will kill you graveyard dead. We're not going to play.
- 22:14Speaker 13: This has got to stop.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Got to love him, But can we really be shocked
- 22:19Speaker 2: by the way Democrat supporters are behaving when this is
- 22:22Speaker 2: an example of their representatives. Watch the behavior here of
- 22:26Speaker 2: Senator Alex Padilla who try to gate crash Homeland Secretary
- 22:31Speaker 2: Christi Nomes press conference.
- 22:35Speaker 6: I'm Senator Alex.
- 22:37Speaker 8: I have questions for the secretary because the fact of
- 22:41Speaker 8: the matter is half a dozen violent criminals that you're
- 22:45Speaker 8: rotating on.
- 22:45Speaker 14: Your agents have added, yes, that's a senator unhinged andndticks
- 22:58Speaker 14: there isn't.
- 23:00Speaker 2: It missed around and he found out.
- 23:06Speaker 6: Going right behind my back, all right.
- 23:08Speaker 10: Cool hand lakeclatk leakeclatt.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Other hand, turnin other end, and the Democrats and their
- 23:16Speaker 2: media lapdogs acted like he was the victim. This was
- 23:20Speaker 2: a sign of a dictatorship that a senator would be
- 23:23Speaker 2: crash tackled. They gave this clown a platform to spew
- 23:27Speaker 2: this nonsense. Here is on MSNBC.
- 23:30Speaker 6: Democrats say that Secretary Nome should resign.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Is that where you are?
- 23:35Speaker 8: Look, that's that's maybe not my focus right now, but
- 23:38Speaker 8: I do think there's some serious questions. How does the
- 23:41Speaker 8: Cabinet secretary not know the center from California when she
- 23:45Speaker 8: steps foot into Los Angeles? She came through the Center
- 23:48Speaker 8: for Confirmation at one point, And certainly, how does the
- 23:52Speaker 8: Secretary of Homeland Security not know how to de escalate
- 23:55Speaker 8: a situation? It's because you can't or because they don't
- 23:58Speaker 8: want to.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Even the Base four wasn't safe from these activists. We
- 24:02Speaker 2: had this bit of tone deaf activism at Dodger Stadium
- 24:06Speaker 2: on the weekend. Here is singer Vanessa Hernandez known as
- 24:09Speaker 2: Mezsa No. I've never heard of her either anyway. Here
- 24:12Speaker 2: she is being told to sing the national anthem in English, obviously,
- 24:16Speaker 2: but instead she sang it, screeched it really in Spanish
- 24:20Speaker 2: and then she cried about it.
- 24:23Speaker 10: We already today.
- 24:34Speaker 11: Today out of old days. I could not.
- 24:40Speaker 15: I'm sorry, yeah, I just could not believe when she
- 24:44Speaker 15: walked in and told me no, but I just felt
- 24:49Speaker 15: like I needed to do it.
- 24:51Speaker 2: But imy head there hero. I wonder if she's worked
- 24:55Speaker 2: out why Mexicans speak Spanish. Couldn't it be because they
- 24:59Speaker 2: were conquered, Nezza colonized by Spain. She's singing the language
- 25:03Speaker 2: of the colonizers, but she wants you to know she's
- 25:06Speaker 2: very proud.
- 25:07Speaker 15: I'm proud of myself for doing that today because my
- 25:15Speaker 15: parents are immigrants and they've been citizens like my whole
- 25:21Speaker 15: life at this point. They got documented really early, but.
- 25:27Speaker 11: I just can't imagine.
- 25:28Speaker 15: Them being ripped away from me, even at this age,
- 25:31Speaker 15: like lit alone, like a little little kid, Like, what
- 25:35Speaker 15: are we doing?
- 25:37Speaker 2: So your parents are legal migrants, and no parent is
- 25:41Speaker 2: ripped away from their kid. The kids go back with
- 25:43Speaker 2: them to the parents' home country. What we're doing, you asked.
- 25:47Speaker 2: We're enforcing the law. That's what's happening in America, you know,
- 25:51Speaker 2: like Obama did when he deported a record number of
- 25:55Speaker 2: illegal immigrants, more than two and a half million, earning
- 25:57Speaker 2: himself the nickname the Deporter in Chief? Have we forgotten
- 26:01Speaker 2: about that? And though the protesters claim this is about
- 26:05Speaker 2: no kings, it's about due process. What they really want
- 26:08Speaker 2: to do is overturn the entire system democracy, capitalism. They
- 26:13Speaker 2: want to burn it all down. Here is Army Horowitz
- 26:17Speaker 2: undercover in a kafir, and it gets the protest is
- 26:20Speaker 2: to say the quite bit out loud.
- 26:23Speaker 6: Has it more about due process? We're more about overturning
- 26:26Speaker 6: the system, returning the system for sure.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I think it has to overturn.
- 26:31Speaker 10: The system, overturn American system.
- 26:36Speaker 6: Do we want to replace it with what?
- 26:39Speaker 2: I don't do?
- 26:40Speaker 11: We need the thing that's the thing.
- 26:41Speaker 13: This might this might turn.
- 26:42Speaker 14: Into something else.
- 26:43Speaker 15: Those thirteen how many countries are being.
- 26:45Speaker 10: Banned from traveling, they might have something as well beyond
- 26:49Speaker 10: this too.
- 26:50Speaker 6: I mean maybe we do we can make the system, yeah,
- 26:54Speaker 6: man or Afghanistan, that might work better. Do you condemn
- 26:58Speaker 6: the violence? Never do?
- 27:00Speaker 2: I can damn violence.
- 27:02Speaker 6: I don't think damn people for finding what they believe is.
- 27:04Speaker 14: Right in order to get a plenty file.
- 27:06Speaker 6: Sometimes asking the violence, do you really condemn the violence
- 27:09Speaker 6: or do you understand the.
- 27:12Speaker 8: Sound up against the bully that's sometimes gonna need violence.
- 27:15Speaker 11: So we need.
- 27:16Speaker 6: Violence because we're going to continue by the hand.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Now you think the fund feeds us? Is this just
- 27:21Speaker 1: the beginning. Is it just the beginning you can?
- 27:25Speaker 6: Can you condemn the violence or do you understand it?
- 27:29Speaker 11: I understand it.
- 27:30Speaker 16: We need to break sit down before we can read
- 27:32Speaker 16: old burn it down.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Joining me now is filmmaker and jealous army Heroit's army.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Were you cherry picking there or was that the majority
- 27:42Speaker 2: opinion amongst the processes you spoke to?
- 27:46Speaker 6: Yeah? So generally the way I work, I let you
- 27:48Speaker 6: lift the kimoto a little bit, let you on the process. Look,
- 27:52Speaker 6: when I do a video, what you see is the
- 27:55Speaker 6: majority view who I speak with. Sure there might be
- 27:58Speaker 6: dissenters who think differently, but if they're the If they're
- 28:02Speaker 6: not the majority of voice, the video doesn't go out
- 28:04Speaker 6: or I make the video to reflect that. So generally
- 28:07Speaker 6: my videos with the majority voice. This video RITO is different.
- 28:11Speaker 6: This was every single person. In fact, I had it
- 28:14Speaker 6: at Dendim and then the video slanning that I spoke
- 28:18Speaker 6: with over thirty people over the course of a number
- 28:20Speaker 6: of hours, and not a single person deviated from the
- 28:24Speaker 6: views you just heard. You know, I also shot another
- 28:27Speaker 6: segment I had and put the video, but I also
- 28:29Speaker 6: asked them, are we on stolen land or should we
- 28:32Speaker 6: give this this land. This land we're talking about it
- 28:36Speaker 6: is California, Arizona, New Mexico. Should give it back to Mexico.
- 28:40Speaker 6: They all said yes, or they said give it back
- 28:44Speaker 6: to the natives. Look, let's be clear about something. These
- 28:48Speaker 6: people are not stupid. I know it's an easy tag
- 28:51Speaker 6: to put on. People say, Oh, they're just fools, they're
- 28:54Speaker 6: useful idiots. No, they know exactly what they're doing.
- 28:57Speaker 3: You know.
- 28:57Speaker 6: It always got me upset during the Palestine and Prohamas
- 29:01Speaker 6: protests when people said, oh, they're just fools, they don't
- 29:05Speaker 6: know what they're doing. I'm sorry you take the You
- 29:07Speaker 6: were hollowing out the power of their intent by saying
- 29:11Speaker 6: that they know exactly what they were doing. Then they
- 29:14Speaker 6: were calling for the genocide of the Jewish people, the
- 29:17Speaker 6: destruction of the state of Viserl They knew exactly what
- 29:19Speaker 6: from the river to the sea meant. They may not
- 29:22Speaker 6: have known which river would see as a geography, lessel
- 29:25Speaker 6: has nothing to do with the reality of how they felt.
- 29:27Speaker 6: Same thing with this, They're not stupid. They know exactly
- 29:30Speaker 6: what they're doing. The entire time Rita, there was an
- 29:33Speaker 6: undercurrent of violence right The violence broke out night after
- 29:37Speaker 6: night in Los Angeles, and you can feel it even
- 29:39Speaker 6: the daytime. But if you said the wrong thing or
- 29:42Speaker 6: they thought you were the wrong person, they would take
- 29:44Speaker 6: you down. I was standing there when somebody said I
- 29:47Speaker 6: love America and took out an American flag, and they
- 29:50Speaker 6: beat him, just like they beat me in the in
- 29:52Speaker 6: the campus at CuNi, right, I took out the American flag.
- 29:55Speaker 6: The same thing happened here. It's the same people were
- 29:58Speaker 6: in Kafia's there. That's purpose, there's a there's there's an
- 30:02Speaker 6: interconnection and the intersectionality between these people and the program
- 30:06Speaker 6: mass voters. This is where we're at in this country
- 30:10Speaker 6: where they want destruction. The same crowd, Yes, no question
- 30:15Speaker 6: about it.
- 30:15Speaker 2: It's the same crowd. I mean they they are the
- 30:17Speaker 2: same anti American, anti Western civilization crowd. Whether it's BLM riots,
- 30:22Speaker 2: whether it's pro har Mass, whether it's crazy environmentalists, or
- 30:28Speaker 2: in this case there's anti Trump, anti Ice, they're the
- 30:31Speaker 2: same crowd. And what's worrying there, as you showed in
- 30:35Speaker 2: the video, was that I have no issues with violence.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Not only do they tolerate violence, they think it is
- 30:42Speaker 2: a sound method to achieve their.
- 30:44Speaker 6: Goals, absolutely, no question about it. And by the way
- 30:50Speaker 6: and they yeah, they and we saw it not that
- 30:52Speaker 6: for night, you know in La all the BLM riots.
- 30:55Speaker 6: Now I was also the King's protest and No King's
- 30:58Speaker 6: protest that in New York, and they didn't. Look you
- 31:03Speaker 6: heard you heard everyone whispering and talking and saying. You
- 31:06Speaker 6: can hear them say it, Look, no violence, let's not
- 31:08Speaker 6: create violence, even though that was where that's where their
- 31:12Speaker 6: intention was going. But they put it out there because
- 31:14Speaker 6: they know that it's an issue for the narrative if
- 31:18Speaker 6: they were violent, and I asked them, people in the
- 31:21Speaker 6: No Kings put the same questions. And while it wasn't
- 31:24Speaker 6: as it wasn't as across the board as it was
- 31:27Speaker 6: in Los Angeles, I would say it's about fifty percent
- 31:30Speaker 6: of people I asked, same questions, fifty seven people the
- 31:32Speaker 6: No King's protests felt the same way. They defended violence.
- 31:35Speaker 6: They said this is stolen land. They said, this is
- 31:38Speaker 6: not about due process, about correct destroying the system. So look,
- 31:41Speaker 6: there is this is the Wada. This is the left unmasked,
- 31:47Speaker 6: straight up, pure and something. It is.
- 31:48Speaker 2: It is and you only have to wear a kathia
- 31:51Speaker 2: and welcome amongst them, and they will sail those quiet
- 31:56Speaker 2: bits out lad the things that aren't say on the
- 31:58Speaker 2: sound bites, and because I know the violence is counterproductive
- 32:02Speaker 2: as far as winning public support. They're not stupid, but
- 32:06Speaker 2: they're more than ready to act violently. And let's have
- 32:10Speaker 2: a look here at CBS. They've copying some criticism for
- 32:14Speaker 2: promoting the rally, promoting it and even promoting merchandise for
- 32:19Speaker 2: the rally. Look at this No King's Day merch for
- 32:22Speaker 2: sale on Amazon, Timu and other e commercial I mean,
- 32:25Speaker 2: have they given up any pretense of being in these
- 32:28Speaker 2: news organization army.
- 32:31Speaker 6: Yeah, it's not CBS, it's all of them, right, I mean,
- 32:34Speaker 6: all of them are simply at this point they're just
- 32:36Speaker 6: pushing a narrative. They're just they're just a the polemic.
- 32:39Speaker 6: It's polemic. It's not news, it's not reporting. Look, Rita,
- 32:43Speaker 6: I was at the protest and I saw in the
- 32:46Speaker 6: LA protests, and I saw them asking questions, and in
- 32:50Speaker 6: a couple of cases the same people that I spoke with,
- 32:52Speaker 6: And they're asking the most anodyne questions possible. Right, they
- 32:56Speaker 6: didn't get they didn't cut to the heart of the
- 32:58Speaker 6: matter of why you're here. They could have asked same
- 33:01Speaker 6: questions I did. It's obvious the night before there was
- 33:04Speaker 6: a tremendous amount of violence. They didn't ask them anything
- 33:06Speaker 6: about the violence, whether or not you supported them. This is
- 33:09Speaker 6: how the media, mainstream media works. They are pushing narratives.
- 33:14Speaker 6: They are not trying to report on actual news on
- 33:18Speaker 6: what's happening, and frankly reminded me of the of the
- 33:21Speaker 6: BLM riots the same thing. I asked the BLM riders
- 33:25Speaker 6: the same type of questions about America, the heart of
- 33:27Speaker 6: how they believed what they believed in, and then saw
- 33:30Speaker 6: CNN and NBC and CBS and ABC asked ridiculously questions
- 33:35Speaker 6: that didn't get to the heart of anything. I saw TWEETA.
- 33:37Speaker 6: I was at if you remember the burning down of
- 33:41Speaker 6: the federal building in Portland, and I remember that all
- 33:45Speaker 6: these camera crews, their cameras were down when these BLM
- 33:50Speaker 6: rioters were trying to burn the building down, and then
- 33:52Speaker 6: the cameras went up when when the federal officers came
- 33:55Speaker 6: out and threw out tear gas as if they were
- 33:57Speaker 6: doing it unprovoked. This is the business of the media
- 34:01Speaker 6: organizations today.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Reader, Well, that's why trust in the media in the
- 34:07Speaker 2: US is at record lowers. I think It's like something
- 34:10Speaker 2: in one in ten Republicans as any trust in the
- 34:12Speaker 2: mainstream media. I mean, Donald Trump is facing, some would say,
- 34:17Speaker 2: an impossible balancing act, living up to the America First agenda,
- 34:20Speaker 2: the no Wars agenda, and America's role in the Israel
- 34:24Speaker 2: Iran conflict. Clearly, the Trump administration wants to demoralize the
- 34:28Speaker 2: Iranian regime and ensure they don't get their hands on
- 34:31Speaker 2: nuclear weapons. But how far do they go to make
- 34:34Speaker 2: that happen. Here's what Secretary of State Marco Arubio said
- 34:38Speaker 2: after Israel took action against Iran. He said, Israel took
- 34:43Speaker 2: unilateral action against Iran. We are not involved in strikes
- 34:47Speaker 2: against Iran, and our top priority is protecting American forces
- 34:51Speaker 2: in the region. Israel advised us that they believe this
- 34:55Speaker 2: action was necessary for its self defense. President Trump and
- 34:59Speaker 2: the administration have taken all necessary steps to protect our
- 35:03Speaker 2: forces and remain in close contact with our regional partners.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Let me be clear, Iran should not target US interests
- 35:11Speaker 2: or personnel army. This is very difficult for the Trump administration.
- 35:16Speaker 2: How can Donald Trump manage the expectations of the no
- 35:19Speaker 2: war members of the base, which are not insignificant in number.
- 35:24Speaker 6: Yeah, no, it's a very difficult situation. And frankly, look,
- 35:29Speaker 6: we've talked about it before and it's doubly true now.
- 35:33Speaker 6: I think the Iran the Iran straight kind of highlighted
- 35:39Speaker 6: the discrepancy and the split in the Republican Party between
- 35:42Speaker 6: traditional Republicans and isolations Republicans. And I want to point
- 35:46Speaker 6: out one thing first for I continue on down that road,
- 35:49Speaker 6: is that when Israel was hit by the by ballistic
- 35:51Speaker 6: missile after ballistic by hundreds of blistic missiles that slammed
- 35:54Speaker 6: into Israel, killing Israelis, damaging buildings, the the Iran deal,
- 35:59Speaker 6: which which is what Trump said he wanted to back
- 36:02Speaker 6: out of it, he didn't fact back out of it
- 36:03Speaker 6: his first administration, and when Honor, I'm saying we will
- 36:06Speaker 6: never go back to that, Well, the one of the
- 36:08Speaker 6: reasons why we hated that that that and while why
- 36:11Speaker 6: that agreement was was was horrible, was that they allowed
- 36:16Speaker 6: Iran to continue to build and to develop ballistic missiles.
- 36:20Speaker 6: And now you see the results today as these things
- 36:24Speaker 6: are slamming into Israel, killing israelis. I just want to
- 36:26Speaker 6: point that out, okay, And why we let why Trump
- 36:29Speaker 6: took us out of that deal.
- 36:31Speaker 7: Uh.
- 36:32Speaker 6: But going back to the split, No, it's a significant issue.
- 36:36Speaker 6: You can see look jd Vance as someone who is
- 36:39Speaker 6: who is aligned with the more isolation of his view.
- 36:42Speaker 6: He said something really interesting in the Kennedy Center not
- 36:46Speaker 6: not not long before the attack on Iran when he said,
- 36:49Speaker 6: I'm not convinced that Ron wants to build a nuclear weapon.
- 36:52Speaker 6: I mean, what is he talking about. I know Trump
- 36:55Speaker 6: didn't believe that. Trump was firmly in the camp of
- 36:57Speaker 6: they are trying to get it, and we will stop
- 36:59Speaker 6: the no matter what it takes, including allowing us or
- 37:02Speaker 6: to do this. He knew Israel went to him and
- 37:04Speaker 6: talked to him before the attack. He made that very clear,
- 37:07Speaker 6: and Israel made that clear, and he gave him the
- 37:09Speaker 6: green light as he understood that the talks with the
- 37:12Speaker 6: Iran that he was conducting, we're going nowhere. But when
- 37:16Speaker 6: Jenny Van says I don't know if they want it, it
- 37:18Speaker 6: reminds me Luida have told the story before. It reminds
- 37:21Speaker 6: me of when I met with the with the with
- 37:23Speaker 6: the Obama negotiators of the Iran deal and I asked
- 37:27Speaker 6: them the same question. And we're talking about Iran and
- 37:29Speaker 6: nuclear weapons. They said to me, how do you know
- 37:31Speaker 6: they want to build nuclear weapons? We're experts that we
- 37:33Speaker 6: don't know. It's alarming to me that he used the
- 37:35Speaker 6: same language as them. But look, Trump is firmly in
- 37:40Speaker 6: the camp we have to stop Iran, and I'm glad
- 37:43Speaker 6: that he did. I think the world is better off
- 37:44Speaker 6: for it.
- 37:45Speaker 2: Frankly, well, what do you say happening next? Are we
- 37:50Speaker 2: going to say? These conflicts continue until Iran is tomorilized
- 37:55Speaker 2: to a point that any ambitions of having nuclear weapons
- 37:59Speaker 2: is is gone for the time being. All Really, if
- 38:03Speaker 2: you need to cut off the head of the snake,
- 38:06Speaker 2: do you need to have regime change? Because the mulazan't
- 38:09Speaker 2: going to stop after this. They're just going to regroup
- 38:12Speaker 2: and launch the next campaign.
- 38:16Speaker 6: Look, regime change is, of course, ultimately what everyone wants, right,
- 38:21Speaker 6: remember this. The Iranian people are great. Look I am Iranian, Okay.
- 38:28Speaker 6: The Iranian people are pro Western, A lot of them
- 38:31Speaker 6: are pro Israel. Frankly, they're very practical. They understand how
- 38:35Speaker 6: the world works. The compact between the regime and it's people.
- 38:40Speaker 6: The reason why the regime is still around is because
- 38:42Speaker 6: they made a deal. They said, look, well, don't get
- 38:45Speaker 6: involved in the way we run the country, and we
- 38:47Speaker 6: will allow you to have a great life, a material life,
- 38:51Speaker 6: business and money. Well, they've failed and they've failed you
- 38:54Speaker 6: around people that compact, right, and I think that ultimately
- 38:58Speaker 6: that's what is going to push regime change, and that
- 39:01Speaker 6: should come eternally. We should not be pushing in ourselves,
- 39:04Speaker 6: although we shouldn't be hindering it. Look, if you guys
- 39:06Speaker 6: remember there was a point in time where there was
- 39:08Speaker 6: a possible revolution brewing in Iran and Obama did not
- 39:13Speaker 6: do anything to help the revolutionaries flip the regime. No,
- 39:17Speaker 6: we definitely don't want troops on the ground, no question
- 39:20Speaker 6: about it. But you want to help the people who
- 39:22Speaker 6: are trying to reform that country, and he didn't do it.
- 39:27Speaker 6: So yes, look, although we don't know what's gonna.
- 39:29Speaker 2: Be do no really that one of his great failures.
- 39:32Speaker 2: There was army where the Iranian people were putting their
- 39:36Speaker 2: lives on the line and America was entirely missing in
- 39:40Speaker 2: that episode. To Ami Horowitz, thank you so much for
- 39:43Speaker 2: your time tonight.
- 39:45Speaker 6: Where's your pleasure.
- 39:46Speaker 2: Still to come? Which famous singer took a stand against
- 39:50Speaker 2: the anti Trump protest kinzisco Field has the details. Welcome back,
- 40:04Speaker 2: joining me now celebrity and royal commentator Kinsey Schofield. Kinsey,
- 40:09Speaker 2: let's start with the No Kings protests held across the
- 40:12Speaker 2: US over the weekend. A number of celebrities were spotted
- 40:15Speaker 2: at these protests. We had Mark Ruffalo, Glenn Close, Susan Sarandon,
- 40:21Speaker 2: Jimmy Kimmel, Sarah Silverman. It's the usual suspects. I've got
- 40:26Speaker 2: to say, no surprise is there.
- 40:29Speaker 16: Yeah, I mean President Trump thrives off of this. The
- 40:33Speaker 16: irony is that every time a celebrity publicly attacks him,
- 40:38Speaker 16: he uses it as ammunition to reinforce his narrative. They
- 40:43Speaker 16: hate me because I stand up to the elite. And
- 40:46Speaker 16: for his supporters, these protests validate their belief that he's
- 40:50Speaker 16: a threat to the establishment. And I mean, that's exactly
- 40:54Speaker 16: what they they like about him. Plus, their message isn't
- 40:59Speaker 16: reaching New years. Celebrities preaching to their fan base aren't
- 41:04Speaker 16: changing minds. They're reinforcing what there art audience already believes.
- 41:09Speaker 16: Most Trump supporters aren't watching Jimmy Kimmel and he knows it,
- 41:14Speaker 16: so the impact is minimal. If anything, it further entrenches
- 41:18Speaker 16: both sides.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Now, while all that was happening, and with the now
- 41:23Speaker 2: Kings protests across the country, there was a singer, Cody Johnson,
- 41:28Speaker 2: a very famous country singer, who had this to say
- 41:31Speaker 2: to his audience that there was a lot.
- 41:33Speaker 13: Of protests for one reason or another all across the country.
- 41:36Speaker 1: People were protesting something. But you know what I have.
- 41:41Speaker 6: I have a microphone at twenty five thousand Americans.
- 41:48Speaker 4: So today we are going to protest the protest.
- 41:57Speaker 2: They're going to protest the protest. The crowd seemed to
- 42:00Speaker 2: like that, Kinsey.
- 42:01Speaker 16: I mean, finally someone with a mic and a message
- 42:04Speaker 16: that actually makes sense to us. Cody Johnson saying he
- 42:08Speaker 16: was protesting the protest is kind of It's the kind
- 42:11Speaker 16: of common sense rebellion. This country music fan it can
- 42:15Speaker 16: get behind, and it's refreshing to hear someone stand up
- 42:19Speaker 16: for unity over outrage and do it with so much humor.
- 42:25Speaker 2: Now, let's check in with everyone's favorite couple, the Ginger
- 42:29Speaker 2: and the Wingja. They've now lost more staff members, six
- 42:33Speaker 2: more staff members. I wonder has this got anything to
- 42:36Speaker 2: do with that weird pregnant twerking video that we salve
- 42:40Speaker 2: Megan or Harry's ill advised interview with the BBC. What's
- 42:46Speaker 2: behind these latest staff departures.
- 42:51Speaker 16: Surprisingly, the people behind the twerking video are still employed.
- 42:57Speaker 16: I am curious to know if the person that helped
- 43:01Speaker 16: arrange the BBC interview is still employed because, like you said,
- 43:05Speaker 16: that was a wild missfire.
- 43:07Speaker 11: But you know it's bad when.
- 43:09Speaker 16: Working for the world's it's very bad when you're working
- 43:13Speaker 16: for the world's most famous royal escape artists and it's
- 43:16Speaker 16: the one job everyone wants to escape. I think the
- 43:20Speaker 16: constant turnover in Harriet Meghan's camp isn't just a pr issue.
- 43:24Speaker 16: It's a leadership issue. People don't walk away from jobs
- 43:27Speaker 16: they love, they walk away from dysfunction. And like you said,
- 43:31Speaker 16: six more employees, that's a significant number.
- 43:35Speaker 11: That's not a coincidence. We're looking at a.
- 43:38Speaker 16: Pattern that's culture, and culture comes from the top. You
- 43:42Speaker 16: can't build an empire, Megan when you're burning through your architects.
- 43:47Speaker 16: No amount of branded coffee or curated Instagram posts can
- 43:52Speaker 16: mask the instability behind the scenes.
- 43:55Speaker 2: Now to my favorite Royal kinsey by far my favorite,
- 43:58Speaker 2: Well make him king too to morrow if I could.
- 44:01Speaker 2: Seven year old Prince Louis left Royal fans in stitches
- 44:05Speaker 2: on the weekend by putting on a bit of a
- 44:07Speaker 2: display on the Buckingham Palace balcony during the tripping of
- 44:10Speaker 2: the color ceremony, prompting his older brother Prince George to
- 44:14Speaker 2: try and calm him down. Kinsey seems to have worked
- 44:18Speaker 2: out there that every time he waved, the crowd cheered
- 44:21Speaker 2: much louder than they were, so he kept waving until
- 44:24Speaker 2: the future King stepped in.
- 44:28Speaker 11: It was so fun.
- 44:29Speaker 16: I'm right underneath them, That's what I was doing this
- 44:32Speaker 16: weekend in London.
- 44:33Speaker 11: And you're it.
- 44:35Speaker 16: Blew out my ear drums, everyone yelling for little Louis
- 44:39Speaker 16: and absolutely you could tell he just lit up when
- 44:42Speaker 16: the crowd went wild and was going for more. But
- 44:45Speaker 16: on a serious note, the King has cancer. Every day
- 44:49Speaker 16: for him is a courageous fate. The Whales children really
- 44:52Speaker 16: breathe something hopeful and exciting into the future of the monarchy,
- 44:56Speaker 16: and Prince Louis is precious and carefree and always gives
- 44:59Speaker 16: us some to look forward to.
- 45:01Speaker 11: I'm with you.
- 45:01Speaker 16: I absolutely love him.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Now let's turn to the US and one of Diddy's
- 45:10Speaker 2: most vocal supporters, Carnie West, showed up at the disgrace
- 45:14Speaker 2: music Moguls trial in Manhattan, wearing all white, but Kinsey
- 45:18Speaker 2: only hung around for about half an hour.
- 45:21Speaker 16: What a bizarre PR stunt.
- 45:24Speaker 6: You know.
- 45:24Speaker 16: I truly think that he was disappointed when they wouldn't
- 45:28Speaker 16: let him in the courtroom. As you can imagine, to
- 45:31Speaker 16: get seats inside this courtroom is a nightmare. And so
- 45:35Speaker 16: he was put in one of the overflow rooms, but
- 45:38Speaker 16: not the most popular overflow room.
- 45:41Speaker 11: He was put in like an extra.
- 45:42Speaker 16: Overflow room and almost immediately leaves. To me, it looks
- 45:46Speaker 16: just like another one of his bizarre PR stunts.
- 45:50Speaker 11: And you are who you associate with.
- 45:53Speaker 16: I want nothing to do with either of these two men.
- 45:58Speaker 2: Good point there. Now let's talk about Katie Perry and
- 46:02Speaker 2: Orlando Bloom. Sources have told People magazine that their relationship
- 46:07Speaker 2: is on the rocks. It's been breaking down for months, apparently.
- 46:11Speaker 2: And on the weekend Katie was, in fact you're in
- 46:14Speaker 2: Melbourne at a club called Puff Duff where she was
- 46:18Speaker 2: celebrating Pride Month with her chosen family.
- 46:21Speaker 10: You guys, I love you. You are my chosen family.
- 46:35Speaker 9: And because you are.
- 46:36Speaker 10: My chosen family, her mother must provide for her children.
- 46:44Speaker 10: So as a provider I would like to open the
- 46:47Speaker 10: bar for one hour.
- 46:51Speaker 2: She provided for her children. She shouted the whole bar.
- 46:54Speaker 2: That would have been an expensive exercise. It's a very
- 46:56Speaker 2: big bar. What is the latest on that relationship.
- 47:01Speaker 16: Yeah, People magazine is not the only one reporting this.
- 47:04Speaker 16: I'm also seeing some exclusives in page six as well.
- 47:08Speaker 17: They say that, you know, the Katie Pale, Katy Perry's
- 47:12Speaker 17: professional failures have really created some discomfort for her and
- 47:18Speaker 17: some soul searching, and that there's a disintegration happening between
- 47:24Speaker 17: these two because she has just had a really hard
- 47:27Speaker 17: time processing the album Bombing, the criticism that's come her
- 47:32Speaker 17: way about working with doctor Luke, and the criticism that
- 47:36Speaker 17: we've seen throughout this tour kind of just like.
- 47:41Speaker 11: Well, I'll just say the dance moves. I'll just say
- 47:43Speaker 11: the dance moves.
- 47:44Speaker 16: But yeah, they've say that that all of those issues
- 47:47Speaker 16: have really resulted in some trouble at home.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Well, she has been mocked mercilessly in the last twelve months.
- 47:57Speaker 2: Most of it is self inflicted, You've got to say.
- 48:00Speaker 2: I mean, the choreography for her latest tour is just awful.
- 48:04Speaker 2: There's the whole astronaut thing where she was just made
- 48:08Speaker 2: the most absurd, hyperbolic statements. She opened herself up to mockery.
- 48:13Speaker 2: I mean, what else could you do but mock that?
- 48:15Speaker 2: So I don't know why she'd be blaming Orlando for
- 48:18Speaker 2: those sort of failures. But yeah, here we are. I've
- 48:22Speaker 2: only got ten seconds. Arla Fisher, Sasha Baron Cohen. They've
- 48:27Speaker 2: finalized their divorce. Is it amicable?
- 48:30Speaker 11: It does seem amicable.
- 48:32Speaker 16: And I'm surprised that he's kept out of trouble, by
- 48:34Speaker 16: the way, watch the space, because he was in a
- 48:37Speaker 16: lot of trouble this time last year.
- 48:41Speaker 2: Oh Kinsey Schofield, thank you for your time, and that's
- 48:45Speaker 2: all the time I have. Up next, it's news Night,
- 48:49Speaker 2: Good night,
