Transcript
- 0:14Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. It's a monk shot Monday.
- 0:17Speaker 1: You guys, we have a brand new show. I got
- 0:20Speaker 1: Keisha here. Keisha, are we mad at Kimberly for making
- 0:25Speaker 1: us cover this show? Were so far where you did? Okay,
- 0:28Speaker 1: so far you're mad? Kisha and I have not said
- 0:31Speaker 1: one word to each other about this. I wanted to
- 0:33Speaker 1: make sure we said it on the air now because
- 0:37Speaker 1: I've seen sixty days in before. I don't know what season, when,
- 0:41Speaker 1: how I did it somehow with Kimberly. I do know
- 0:45Speaker 1: that these these first episodes really are like setting who
- 0:48Speaker 1: the people are, and it is gonna get juicy, and
- 0:52Speaker 1: we are going to meet more of the prisoners and
- 0:56Speaker 1: get their personalities, you know, like who's the good guy,
- 0:58Speaker 1: who's the bad guy?
- 1:00Speaker 2: I got enough their personalities from their first episode.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Okay, okay, I watched an episode.
- 1:08Speaker 2: It just had to hug a dog because I'm like,
- 1:10Speaker 2: what the actual fuck? I'm not even in the prison
- 1:14Speaker 2: with them, and I don't feel I'm scared of Rue.
- 1:16Speaker 2: This guy Rue, I'm afraid of him, Like I'm like,
- 1:19Speaker 2: did I look at him wrong? And He's gonna come
- 1:21Speaker 2: after me?
- 1:22Speaker 1: Like I'm scared of him.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I was. I was a little bit nerved up
- 1:27Speaker 2: in mind. I need to go take a hot shower
- 1:29Speaker 2: and do like the doctor till's what is its? So
- 1:34Speaker 2: I need to breathe it all in. I was like, fuck, Kimberly,
- 1:37Speaker 2: I said, I told you, Kimberly set us up. She
- 1:40Speaker 2: set us up. Mary Payne, I.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Understand where you're coming from. But I think we're gonna
- 1:47Speaker 1: get more into it and get more into the characters
- 1:50Speaker 1: because I think that because this season is the one
- 1:53Speaker 1: where one of the people that goes in just starts
- 1:57Speaker 1: acting like a full inmate and like now wants to
- 1:59Speaker 1: be an inmate instead of being on the outside. And
- 2:01Speaker 1: that's kind of a switcher root, which is crazy.
- 2:04Speaker 2: I think from the previews I can guess who it is.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gonna be the girl that we hadn't seen yet.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I think that's the mostly. I think she's thriving. She
- 2:13Speaker 2: thrives in prison like Todd Chris thrived in prison. Okay,
- 2:18Speaker 2: like that was her jam.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that is funny. Well, and then I didn't
- 2:24Speaker 1: know when I went to watch it. I watched it
- 2:26Speaker 1: on Hulu. Everybody else went to Hulu. I talked it
- 2:28Speaker 1: in sixty Days in season four, episode one, and so
- 2:32Speaker 1: it was I guess a carryover from season three. So
- 2:37Speaker 1: I guess the season three we were in this same jail,
- 2:39Speaker 1: because Kimberly says they do switch jails, so it's not always.
- 2:43Speaker 1: It must have started one and two were somewhere, so
- 2:46Speaker 1: three and four in Fulton County, Okay. And you know,
- 2:49Speaker 1: I said to Kimberly, I was like, I don't understand
- 2:50Speaker 1: how the inmates don't catch on that they're being filmed
- 2:53Speaker 1: for sixty days in especially by season four, And she said,
- 2:56Speaker 1: they always are like it's a documentary covering the criminals,
- 3:00Speaker 1: the system, whatever. That's how they get them into the
- 3:02Speaker 1: little room, and they bring everybody in. They're not just
- 3:06Speaker 1: not just the ones yeah that are on the outside.
- 3:10Speaker 1: They bring everywhere. That's how you get some of those
- 3:11Speaker 1: interviews with the other people, like explaining what it's like
- 3:14Speaker 1: in there and stuff. I find it. Listen, it's a
- 3:18Speaker 1: thousand times better than Family lock Up, which we tried
- 3:21Speaker 1: to cover.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Oh god, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. But it's
- 3:25Speaker 2: a certain but I felt like I was in the prison. Yeah.
- 3:28Speaker 1: I don't like that.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I didn't like that. I didn't like that. I had
- 3:32Speaker 2: to like tell myself afterwards, grow you were okay, you're
- 3:35Speaker 2: in Elite City, Texas, you are at home, you are safe.
- 3:41Speaker 2: My anxiety went up.
- 3:42Speaker 1: And my anxiety was up to and when I was
- 3:45Speaker 1: done with it, I closed the laptop and I'll tell Dave,
- 3:48Speaker 1: I go, okay, I'm done with work, you know, for
- 3:50Speaker 1: the day. Blah blah blah. I want to watch something
- 3:52Speaker 1: else because we've been watching football all day. And I said,
- 3:56Speaker 1: Hottie saty we won, and I was like, let's Dave
- 3:59Speaker 1: didn't sorry, and I was like, uh, let's watch something else.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Can we watch?
- 4:04Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 4:05Speaker 1: Slow Horses on Apple, which is a thing that we've
- 4:07Speaker 1: watched and you know, we won a couple of Emmy's
- 4:10Speaker 1: last year. It's great.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Never heard of it.
- 4:13Speaker 1: It's about the m I five, which is like the
- 4:15Speaker 1: CIA in London. But the slow Horses are like the
- 4:21Speaker 1: losers that did something bad in them I five and
- 4:24Speaker 1: got taken down to this division, like the division for losers,
- 4:28Speaker 1: and they call them slow Horses. So it's sort of
- 4:32Speaker 1: like the Misfits, but they're always like getting into stuff
- 4:35Speaker 1: and Gary Oldman is the head of them. Oh no,
- 4:39Speaker 1: don't ooh because he is. Just look up right now,
- 4:43Speaker 1: get your phone, look up.
- 4:44Speaker 2: I said, ooh, because he can be kidding. He was
- 4:48Speaker 2: serious black and Harry Potter. He was freaking hot. And
- 4:52Speaker 2: he is hands down the best Dracula. I agree, all
- 4:56Speaker 2: the draculas. And he was sexy even when he turned
- 4:58Speaker 2: into like them rat things. Yeah, he's still sexy. Yeah.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Gary Oldman has been in lots of things. I would
- 5:05Speaker 1: like for you just to get your phone right now
- 5:06Speaker 1: and google Gary Oldman in Slow Horses.
- 5:11Speaker 2: And you see guy looking.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Oh, Keisha, and he's supposed to look that way. He's
- 5:16Speaker 1: supposed to look like a fat, alcoholic, disgusting, greasy hair
- 5:20Speaker 1: who and he's like has terrible slow horses. Yeah, and
- 5:29Speaker 1: one of his characteristics is has gas and how and
- 5:32Speaker 1: how bad he stinks?
- 5:34Speaker 2: Oh no, mm.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Hmm, it's awful.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Have you seen his son?
- 5:44Speaker 1: No, we'll get pulled that up and show me on
- 5:47Speaker 1: the screen. Gary Oleman's son. Is he an actor too?
- 5:52Speaker 2: I believe so he is. He's quite a good looking
- 5:59Speaker 2: can you see you?
- 6:00Speaker 1: Oh he is cute.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Yeah, he's cute.
- 6:03Speaker 1: We gotta watch on YouTube.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, he's a haughty.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what's interesting, Kisha so the way your
- 6:09Speaker 1: curtains are behind you and then the way mine are,
- 6:11Speaker 1: it looks like it's like kind of like one room.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Is that interesting?
- 6:15Speaker 2: One day, I feel like we will record in the
- 6:18Speaker 2: same room together.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I know it might be a hotel room, but we'll
- 6:22Speaker 1: be that's fine.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I feel like one day, I feel like us meeting
- 6:26Speaker 2: in New York was not the last time that we'll meet.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Oh absolutely, not absolutely.
- 6:30Speaker 2: I think I can't wait to record us together in
- 6:34Speaker 2: the same room.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Lord knows what will happen. All right, guys, it's not
- 6:39Speaker 1: gonna be today. So I'm sixty days in season four,
- 6:43Speaker 1: episode one. The beginning of the end is the name
- 6:45Speaker 1: of this episode. Okay, so the premise of this show,
- 6:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you what it says like on the
- 6:51Speaker 1: A and E site. I gotta make this spont smaller
- 6:54Speaker 1: because I can't see you and see the screen.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Okay.
- 6:57Speaker 1: The premise of the show is to have ordinary civilians
- 7:01Speaker 1: volunteer to go undercover in a jail for two months
- 7:04Speaker 1: without the knowledge of other inmates or staff, to expose corruption,
- 7:09Speaker 1: drug use, gang activity, and other problems within the prison system.
- 7:12Speaker 1: The goal is to gather intel to help implement real
- 7:15Speaker 1: time changes and improvements within the facility. Some participants are
- 7:19Speaker 1: law enforcement officers, while others are motivated by personal reasons
- 7:23Speaker 1: such as understanding the justice system better or wanting to
- 7:26Speaker 1: see if they can survive the experiment.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Why look, why does it have to be sixty days?
- 7:32Speaker 2: Give me three days like they do on family Like,
- 7:35Speaker 2: I'll be like everything is fucked up. These people got
- 7:38Speaker 2: me fucked up. Day be fighting Davy Spreeman, Davy yelling
- 7:42Speaker 2: there's lots of bullying going on. I need sixty days.
- 7:45Speaker 2: I need to be a snitch within a day.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah. Everywhere you look right now,

- 9:24Speaker 1: r S dot com slash pink shade for hers dot
- 9:29Speaker 1: com slash pink shade. Okay, so we opened the episode
- 9:34Speaker 1: with this dramatic foreshadowing of something that's going to happen
- 9:37Speaker 1: somebody's going to be kicked out of the program for
- 9:40Speaker 1: jeopardizing other people's safety and say this person went full
- 9:43Speaker 1: inmate and forgot why they were there. That is why
- 9:46Speaker 1: Kimberly wanted us to watch this season specifically.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Okay Kimberly, Okay, okay, okay.
- 9:51Speaker 1: So we meet Colonel Mark Adger, the chief jailer at
- 9:55Speaker 1: the Fulton County Jail. He's been in the Marines, he
- 9:57Speaker 1: was the commander of the sheriff's swat team there in
- 10:01Speaker 1: Fulton County. Fulton County is basically Atlanta, and he wants
- 10:05Speaker 1: to do this operation to learn from innocent civilian so
- 10:08Speaker 1: he can improve his prison.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Okay, okay.
- 10:12Speaker 1: In Phase one, he tells us they learned a lot
- 10:14Speaker 1: about issues like smuggled contraband and prescription medication abuse, gang violence,
- 10:19Speaker 1: issues with the staff. They learned a lot about how
- 10:21Speaker 1: to improve and we see a lot of clips of that,
- 10:23Speaker 1: which is just what we've got to come Okay, right,
- 10:26Speaker 1: it's all very upsetting. Now, he says, Now we're in
- 10:29Speaker 1: Phase two, we're going to dive deeper into the issues
- 10:31Speaker 1: with eight more participants. They have diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- 10:35Speaker 1: This phase is different because we're starting with two participants
- 10:39Speaker 1: already in jail. Now we only meet the one Nate, right,
- 10:45Speaker 1: So who's the other one? We don't know, We don't know.
- 10:49Speaker 2: I'm thinking maybe it's a girl because we only saw
- 10:52Speaker 2: one girl on this episode, Jacqueline.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Yeah, but in another one's coming. But there's two more
- 10:57Speaker 1: coming in Angel or Angel and Stephanie and Angel Angel
- 11:02Speaker 1: is the one. I think he's gonna go full inmate.
- 11:06Speaker 2: She likes it.
- 11:07Speaker 1: There, she likes it. So we see Nate as a
- 11:11Speaker 1: Phase one holdover. He's earned the trust of the gang members.
- 11:14Speaker 1: He's a white dude that looks super like white, but
- 11:17Speaker 1: somehow everybody likes it.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, which I was shocked. I'm like, oh, I
- 11:21Speaker 2: know he gets beat up every single day. Yeah, I
- 11:24Speaker 2: know they have forced him to drop the soak a
- 11:26Speaker 2: whole bunch of times. But no, it was so it
- 11:30Speaker 2: was a total opposite. They they like them. They clearly
- 11:35Speaker 2: he likes them because he's standing extra thirty what is
- 11:39Speaker 2: it an extra sixty days? Right?
- 11:42Speaker 1: He is volunteering to stay an extra stay longer.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Okay, See, so I know that deep down inside there's
- 11:48Speaker 2: something wrong with Nate because there's no way look y'all
- 11:53Speaker 2: says sixty days. I'm done at sixty days. I'm not
- 11:56Speaker 2: gonna say this is something the army.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Like, you don't get to reap.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know why he's I don't.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Hopefully we'll hear more about why he has chosen to stay.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Did you notice he had that scar in the middle
- 12:11Speaker 1: of his head. Yeah?
- 12:13Speaker 2: I wonder did he get it there?
- 12:15Speaker 1: Me too, It's like a Harry Potter scar. So we
- 12:18Speaker 1: get clips of the new people. We get like just
- 12:21Speaker 1: quick clips of them explaining the sales. We have Johnny, Matt,
- 12:25Speaker 1: Angel or Angel. It's Angel with an E on the end,
- 12:27Speaker 1: so we'll find out how it's pronounced. Jacqueline is also
- 12:30Speaker 1: spelled wrong, Alan, Andrew, Emmanuel and Stephanie.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Okay, so.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Nate, Nate was a marine. This is all we know
- 12:39Speaker 1: about Nate because we didn't see this.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Season before, and that he's engaged, right, he's engaged, so
- 12:46Speaker 2: he's trying specifically to stay four months away. Yeah. I
- 12:51Speaker 2: feel like it's fiance and he are going to have
- 12:53Speaker 2: a long talk when he finally gets done. If he
- 12:56Speaker 2: doesn't re up again, I don't know, but.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Maybe he's getting so much money that they're like, this
- 13:02Speaker 1: will pay for the whole wedding, Like we'll be able
- 13:04Speaker 1: to get a starter house with this money. You know,
- 13:07Speaker 1: maybe it's worth.
- 13:08Speaker 2: It, Harry Payne, what you could offer me a million dollars?
- 13:11Speaker 2: I'm not standing extra sixty days in there, there's no
- 13:14Speaker 2: I won't last a week. We wouldn't last a week.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I don't know if I would last just one night
- 13:20Speaker 1: on that little tiny mattress, my back would hurt. I
- 13:22Speaker 1: need my advil.
- 13:24Speaker 2: And it didn't look like they had pillows.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Uh uh, And I think they just got to figure
- 13:29Speaker 1: it out. So so Nate says he's been there sixty
- 13:33Speaker 1: one days and he feels good. He's surviving and he's thriving.
- 13:37Speaker 1: He says, these guys in here don't look past their twenties.
- 13:41Speaker 1: And I'm hoping to go for a career in law enforcement,
- 13:44Speaker 1: which is interesting because I think we heard that with
- 13:46Speaker 1: Harry on Love after Lockup, who said he never thought
- 13:49Speaker 1: he'd live past twenty three, so he may as well
- 13:50Speaker 1: just like go balls to the wall, and he did
- 13:54Speaker 1: and he did. So Nate meets with doctor Jamie Blandinu,
- 14:01Speaker 1: who's a psychologist, to evaluate him, to make sure he's
- 14:04Speaker 1: fit to stay there, right, So she says, have you
- 14:06Speaker 1: witnessed anything that you have found hard to shake off?
- 14:10Speaker 1: We've witnessed some things hard to shake off. In the
- 14:12Speaker 1: first five minutes, yeah, and he's like cool about it.
- 14:19Speaker 1: He goes, look, the fightings and the jumpings are hard.
- 14:22Speaker 1: You can't do anything about it. And then we just
- 14:23Speaker 1: see lots and lots of people getting beat up.
- 14:27Speaker 2: It was too much.
- 14:30Speaker 1: What was that show? We also saw where they did
- 14:33Speaker 1: like the where the inmates they let them run the prison,
- 14:36Speaker 1: and we saw that.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Ye good, yeah, yeah, but this just seemed a little
- 14:40Speaker 2: bit dark. And for me to say there's a lot
- 14:43Speaker 2: of fighting, it's a lot because you know, I watched
- 14:45Speaker 2: Jocelyn's Cabaret and Battie said, all those bitches do is fight.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it just was like fight and you can't go anywhere.
- 14:53Speaker 2: You have to stay, I know, in this situation.
- 14:56Speaker 1: And you also have to like not look because if
- 15:00Speaker 1: you look, then the CEOs know what you're looking at.
- 15:02Speaker 1: And then do you know what I mean, Like the
- 15:04Speaker 1: people go and fight and they all have to act
- 15:05Speaker 1: like it's not happening, so the CEOs don't see it.
- 15:08Speaker 2: I don't think I didn't see enough CEOs.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Yeah, getting everybody off their little k Yeah.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm like, are they just not like, do they
- 15:18Speaker 2: not hear? This ship that's going on is very odd?
- 15:22Speaker 1: So he said, he you know, I deal with it
- 15:24Speaker 1: by working out every day and he goes. But it
- 15:26Speaker 1: is hard to like keep the lie going. I lie
- 15:28Speaker 1: to everybody all the time, but I have a fiance's
- 15:31Speaker 1: very supportive. Okay, that's Nate. NAT's real cute. I think,
- 15:34Speaker 1: so very cute. Now we meet Alan. Now of course
- 15:38Speaker 1: I did get their pictures. Now I wonder Kisha because
- 15:42Speaker 1: we because you might get confused because some of these people.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Because right now I'm trying to remember who to hell.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Alan, Okay, let me look first of all, let's look
- 15:50Speaker 1: at Nate.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Okay, that's Nate. He's got a big forehead, but he's
- 15:58Speaker 2: still really cute.
- 16:00Speaker 1: He is.
- 16:00Speaker 2: I think his personality makes him cute too.
- 16:03Speaker 1: I do too. I think he's got a fun personally.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I think that's why the guys him.
- 16:07Speaker 2: I think they like him.
- 16:08Speaker 1: And then let me see Keisha. If I can find
- 16:12Speaker 1: I had a picture of Nate's forehead. I wonder if
- 16:14Speaker 1: I just didn't transfer that one over. I have like
- 16:16Speaker 1: a kind of a close What a weirdo, I am. Okay,
- 16:19Speaker 1: So here's Alan purpose Yeah I did it.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Oh yeah, he books.
- 16:24Speaker 1: So here's Alan. Now Alan. The way you can kind
- 16:27Speaker 1: of tell these two white guys apart is Alan has
- 16:29Speaker 1: darker hair. Andy has big ears, and.
- 16:33Speaker 2: He's short and not attractive, and he smells like a cop.
- 16:38Speaker 2: I can smell him as a cop through the TV.
- 16:42Speaker 1: That is so funny. Okay, So this is Alan. So
- 16:48Speaker 1: we first meet Alan. This is his first full weekend side.
- 16:51Speaker 1: So they pull him for an interview and he says,
- 16:54Speaker 1: in today's world, I think cops are perceived as killers
- 16:57Speaker 1: and as the enemy. And that's hard breaking. And we're
- 17:01Speaker 1: all people. And I don't judge anybody based on the
- 17:05Speaker 1: color of their skin. And I'm truly.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I don't know, Mary Payne, I don't. I don't think
- 17:10Speaker 2: I would want to get pulled over by Allen.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Listen. Jury's out on Alan.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, because he's a little there's something odd duckish.
- 17:21Speaker 2: But I feel like he's seen some things and he's
- 17:24Speaker 2: done some things.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I cant be wrong. We could be wrong, but but
- 17:29Speaker 1: y he says, yes it is. He said, I you know,
- 17:32Speaker 1: I became a cop. I truly want to help people,
- 17:34Speaker 1: and I live in the city where I work. He
- 17:37Speaker 1: has a seventh month old daughter. She's very cute. He
- 17:40Speaker 1: says he's gonna miss his daughter and his wife, Brittany
- 17:43Speaker 1: the most and the and the wife is like, oh,
- 17:45Speaker 1: this is you know, it's really gonna be hard. She's like,
- 17:48Speaker 1: he's why does he get to take a two month
- 17:49Speaker 1: break from taking care of this baby?
- 17:51Speaker 2: Hello?
- 17:53Speaker 1: So he says, I know the kind of people that
- 17:56Speaker 1: I put in jail, so it is nerve wracking. You know,
- 17:59Speaker 1: I could wind up dead in there if they find
- 18:01Speaker 1: out I'm a cop.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Right, yes, seek yeah, he could big time. He needs
- 18:07Speaker 2: to do he needs to put like a tattoo on
- 18:09Speaker 2: his face.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Or something right away.
- 18:10Speaker 2: He just looks like a total.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Cop sentinel right on the right on the eyebrow. Yeah,
- 18:16Speaker 1: but then they won't make him do fentanyl and he
- 18:18Speaker 1: don't want to do that.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Well, okay, maybe thug life.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Yeah that really been fit that that yeah yeah thug life.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, this guy what a thug? Okay, So he
- 18:29Speaker 1: said his best move is just a lay low and
- 18:31Speaker 1: not look around too much. So he goes back and
- 18:35Speaker 1: sits alone on the stairs, and you see these big
- 18:37Speaker 1: black dudes going that white boy over there, he's the police.
- 18:40Speaker 1: And the one goes the one with the chicken feet,
- 18:42Speaker 1: and the other one says, no, the one with the mullet.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Okay, so chicken feet.
- 18:50Speaker 1: I didn't understand the chicken feet. And he does not
- 18:52Speaker 1: have a mullet, but he does have a bad hairdoo.
- 18:54Speaker 2: It's a it's a very very bad hair tout.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Yea.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Yeah, that is just the face of a cop in
- 19:02Speaker 2: every way. It just this.
- 19:04Speaker 1: And what does he say that he's in there for.
- 19:06Speaker 1: I'm trying to remember.
- 19:07Speaker 2: I don't remember hearing his story. Yeah, the only two
- 19:11Speaker 2: people who I remember hearing their story was Jacqueline and
- 19:15Speaker 2: the dad and the son. Those are the only two,
- 19:19Speaker 2: because I heard like Jacqueline practicing her story.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Yeah, right, right, right now. Okay, So now we meet Matt. Now,
- 19:27Speaker 1: let me pull Matt up for you, just in case
- 19:30Speaker 1: everybody wants to have some nightmares. This is Matt.
- 19:36Speaker 2: He could be good looking if he got rid of
- 19:39Speaker 2: the stringy, nasty hair. The hair it hasn't been washed
- 19:43Speaker 2: months since the Book of Mormon was.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Created, that's about right. So he is a former Utah
- 19:53Speaker 1: prison chaplain. So I wonder he must be like high
- 19:56Speaker 1: up in the Mormon church or did he go to
- 19:58Speaker 1: seminary and become I don't do Mormons go to seminary.
- 20:02Speaker 1: You know that's speaking for his Methodists, like, I don't know,
- 20:06Speaker 1: let me take him off our screen. So he now
- 20:10Speaker 1: he's an MMA trainer. So he says he was an idealist,
- 20:14Speaker 1: but you know, to be a prison chaplain. But he
- 20:16Speaker 1: got tired of being exploited and used by the inmates.
- 20:19Speaker 1: He would go to, you know, talk to and at
- 20:22Speaker 1: the end he had such a bad experience with one
- 20:24Speaker 1: inmate that he wanted He pictured himself jumping over and
- 20:27Speaker 1: like choking the guy, and so he had to quit.
- 20:31Speaker 1: And now he's an MMA trainer, so he's channeling his anger.
- 20:36Speaker 1: His wife is Martha and they have eight children. This
- 20:40Speaker 1: guy is my age fifty six. Okay, let's let's talk
- 20:45Speaker 1: about that for a second. Fifty six fifty six.
- 20:50Speaker 2: He look.
- 20:53Speaker 1: But again, just watch that his hair.
- 20:56Speaker 2: It's the hair. That hair really ages them. If he
- 20:58Speaker 2: got like a nice cue haircut, you do wink at him.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Don't come over here talk to me, but I'm gonna
- 21:07Speaker 2: give you a little wink.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Uh. He has eight kids, and his wife is saying
- 21:13Speaker 1: that's too many. Martha, Martha and Matt, and you know
- 21:17Speaker 1: they live in Utah. They moved back to Utah from
- 21:19Speaker 1: wherever they were and his wife really wanted to raise
- 21:22Speaker 1: their kids with like minded people. So okay, the kids
- 21:28Speaker 1: all seem to be probably twenties to teenagers. Yeah, God,
- 21:34Speaker 1: that means that woman probably had a baby. She probably
- 21:37Speaker 1: had babies from like twenty two to forty. She probably
- 21:41Speaker 1: had kids.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Oh so she just stayed for agnant. Yeah yeah, and
- 21:46Speaker 2: oh that's her heart.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Less her bless, bless her heart. Bless Martha's heart. So
- 21:50Speaker 1: Matt tells his family what he's doing, and he says,
- 21:53Speaker 1: this is what I'm doing. And guess what Andrew is
- 21:56Speaker 1: going with me. And Andrew is his son. One who
- 22:01Speaker 1: looks like this. Andrew. Andrew is a substitute teacher.
- 22:09Speaker 2: And he looks like one. He also looks like he
- 22:11Speaker 2: like sets off bombs and places and stuff like that.
- 22:14Speaker 2: I think he'll I think the prisoners will be afraid
- 22:17Speaker 2: of him because they'd be like, I know, if you
- 22:19Speaker 2: guys give him like a roller, pulet paper as some
- 22:23Speaker 2: two pasts, he's gonna blow this motherfucker up. He's just
- 22:26Speaker 2: got and he has child bearing hips Keisha.
- 22:31Speaker 1: When I saw those child bearing hips, I said, oh lord,
- 22:36Speaker 1: I said, Keisha is going to be upset about this.
- 22:40Speaker 2: But hold on, Mary, kay. Nothing was worse than when
- 22:43Speaker 2: they showed his brother.
- 22:45Speaker 1: No, let me tell me, I mean tell me. I
- 22:49Speaker 1: can't remember his brother long hair.
- 22:51Speaker 2: No long hair, and he had the emo boy man haircut.
- 22:57Speaker 3: I was that TONI the Knight, and I yous, I
- 23:08Speaker 3: did see it.
- 23:09Speaker 2: I did see it.
- 23:10Speaker 1: So he's so he's like, dad's got long hair. Yeah,
- 23:13Speaker 1: and then I got this nerd.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Yeah, then I've got the base. But I like the extreme. Bad. Yeah,
- 23:18Speaker 2: it was really bad.
- 23:20Speaker 1: It was bad. Martha, what's going on in your house?
- 23:23Speaker 1: Oh god? He says, Andrew's going too, and you know
- 23:28Speaker 1: in the talking head, Matt goes, I know what I
- 23:30Speaker 1: want to get from the experience, but I want Andrew
- 23:33Speaker 1: to grow and become tougher.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Okay, I think there's I think, like take him to
- 23:40Speaker 2: some of the m m A classes to make him tougher.
- 23:43Speaker 2: I think taking him to prison is a bit extreme.
- 23:46Speaker 1: I don't get this. I don't get my dad is
- 23:49Speaker 1: so down on Andrew. Andrew's twenty five.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Okay, do I have a suspicion?
- 23:55Speaker 1: Oh, okay, you think he's trying to He's trying to
- 23:58Speaker 1: beat the gay out of him.
- 24:00Speaker 2: I think he is. I hope to God I'm wrong,
- 24:05Speaker 2: but that is just the vibe that I'm picking up.
- 24:08Speaker 1: That didn't occur to me. But now that you said it. Yeah,
- 24:12Speaker 1: so Andrew's substitute teacher. He says he served a two
- 24:15Speaker 1: year LDS Mormon mission in Brazil. Religion is very important
- 24:19Speaker 1: to him and people people think that Mormonism is odd,
- 24:24Speaker 1: and he's become very liberal in his thinking, okay, and
- 24:28Speaker 1: it's hard to reconcile his personal beliefs with the church's beliefs.
- 24:32Speaker 1: But he still considers himself a Mormon. Okay, all right, Andrew,
- 24:36Speaker 1: Andrew going out in the world learning some things.
- 24:38Speaker 2: See, So now he's kinda maybe he's one of the
- 24:42Speaker 2: kind of Mormons that we like, because you know, we
- 24:44Speaker 2: like the secret lives of Mormon Mormons. That's sultry Mormons
- 24:48Speaker 2: like those are a kind of Mormons. So yeah, I
- 24:52Speaker 2: like this. I like that he is branching out.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I like it too, But maybe Dad doesn't like it.
- 24:58Speaker 1: I don't know, maybe, But taking him to p and
- 25:00Speaker 1: in Atlanta. Probably not the move. So anyway, we see
- 25:04Speaker 1: him talking to some friends in Portugal. Now he's speaking Portuguese.
- 25:09Speaker 1: But to me, I was all of a sudden like,
- 25:11Speaker 1: does he have Parkinson's or does he have something wrong
- 25:14Speaker 1: with him? Because when he was on the phone, he
- 25:16Speaker 1: was Bobbin and weavin and I don't know what that's
- 25:19Speaker 1: his affect of When he's speaking Portuguese, he has to
- 25:22Speaker 1: move him down inside to side. So then I tried.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Then I tried to watch the rest and be like, Okay,
- 25:27Speaker 1: maybe he does have some sort of disability that they're
- 25:31Speaker 1: not mentioning. That'll be like they'll reveal it in another episode.
- 25:34Speaker 1: But he does have a giant scar on the back
- 25:37Speaker 1: of his head.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Yeah, uh huh, like you cannot you cannot miss it.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Okay, So more to come on that. So I guess
- 25:45Speaker 1: I don't know. I haven't watched forward. So he says,
- 25:48Speaker 1: I have no experience with jail. I just know what
- 25:50Speaker 1: I've seen on TV. Okay, say with us Matt. Matt
- 25:56Speaker 1: takes his son and Andrew to the self defense class
- 25:58Speaker 1: to help prepare him for jail, and he does pretty good.
- 26:02Speaker 1: He says, you know, he says, Andrew played football and
- 26:05Speaker 1: so he should he and he does fine. He does
- 26:08Speaker 1: fine with a person like and you know, like like
- 26:12Speaker 1: rehearsing it. But somebody's just coming at you. I don't
- 26:14Speaker 1: think you'd be able to flip him over your back
- 26:16Speaker 1: like that.
- 26:17Speaker 2: I just feel like he should have had him in
- 26:19Speaker 2: emmy mma, traded like for a year, yeah, to get
- 26:23Speaker 2: ready for prison, not just this one right thirty minute class.
- 26:27Speaker 1: I agree, come on now, but that's when we first
- 26:30Speaker 1: saw as child bearing hips.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Yeah, oh yeah, and those don't lie.
- 26:36Speaker 1: So talking to head, Matt says, I want Andrew to
- 26:40Speaker 1: become more assertive. You know, my look, which is long,
- 26:45Speaker 1: greasy here will help me fit in. But Andrew's look,
- 26:49Speaker 1: says I'm a target. And you know, he's not a fighter.
- 26:52Speaker 1: He's an intellectual. He's a man child, a little shy.
- 26:56Speaker 1: I mean, he could be clinically shy. I want to
- 26:59Speaker 1: break him out of his sheltered life. Well, there are
- 27:04Speaker 1: better ways, like this child like him.
- 27:09Speaker 2: He called him, He called him a man child. He says,
- 27:13Speaker 2: who's shy?
- 27:14Speaker 1: Soft? He's not a fighter?
- 27:17Speaker 2: I mean, oh that's shit who it is, and that's
- 27:20Speaker 2: perfectly fine. Can't look, all men can't be walking around
- 27:24Speaker 2: being thugs like that's right. No, we need men like Andrew.
- 27:28Speaker 2: I really think.
- 27:30Speaker 1: They think Andrew's too soft, he's not a manly Well,
- 27:34Speaker 1: why don't you take Emo Emo Son?
- 27:37Speaker 2: Oh God, I don't, I don't, I don't know. I
- 27:43Speaker 2: don't know. Maybe emos Son plays the guitar or something
- 27:46Speaker 2: like that at the church and they need him every Sunday.
- 27:49Speaker 2: I don't, I don't know.
- 27:51Speaker 1: That's a that's a great point. He's got band practice.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Being a teacher too, like his dad just thinks he's soft.
- 27:58Speaker 2: And I feel say, I.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Feel sorry for Andrew too, and I'm hoping he's going
- 28:02Speaker 1: to come out of this being I think I'm going
- 28:03Speaker 1: back to Brazil. I'm appreciated hopefully.
- 28:06Speaker 2: So yeah, So.
- 28:08Speaker 1: We get the black screen of death that says, after
- 28:10Speaker 1: a week of preparation, Matt and Andrew will enter the
- 28:13Speaker 1: Fulton County jail tomorrow and they say goodbye to the family.
- 28:17Speaker 1: And the mom was like, I do worry about them
- 28:19Speaker 1: a lot. A week of preparation, we should have been
- 28:22Speaker 1: preparing for months.
- 28:24Speaker 2: I as a mama, would not let my child go.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Well, this is this culture where it's like you have
- 28:30Speaker 1: to do what the man says.
- 28:31Speaker 2: You know, well, you know how we feel about that.
- 28:34Speaker 1: No, all right, So now we're going to get Jacqueline. Okay,
- 28:39Speaker 1: this is Jacqueline. Jacqueline is a paralegal. Jacqueline tells us
- 28:44Speaker 1: she's been robbed at gunpoint before, but she's never been
- 28:46Speaker 1: to jail. She's hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.
- 28:51Speaker 1: She works for a criminal defense law firm. Her goal
- 28:55Speaker 1: is to be an attorney, and this experiment is going
- 28:57Speaker 1: to help her decide if she wants to be in
- 28:59Speaker 1: the criminal defense or prosecution, and this is going to
- 29:04Speaker 1: make her a stronger person. She's doing research for her
- 29:06Speaker 1: future career. Now I kind of like this if this
- 29:07Speaker 1: is true, because she says, you know, like, I'm going
- 29:10Speaker 1: to go in there and meet these women and be like,
- 29:12Speaker 1: are these people I want to be defending because a
- 29:14Speaker 1: lot of them are unjustly Or are these people also
- 29:18Speaker 1: horrible and they deserve to be in here? Which you
- 29:20Speaker 1: know is probably a little bit of both. So her
- 29:24Speaker 1: boyfriend is justin. Now she is again, she's twenty seven. Okay,
- 29:29Speaker 1: so how do I get her off the screen? There
- 29:31Speaker 1: we go. Her boyfriend is justin. He's her high school sweetheart,
- 29:36Speaker 1: So they've been together for over ten years. Yeah, at seventeen,
- 29:42Speaker 1: she got pregnant and had a daughter, Madeline, which we
- 29:45Speaker 1: see some gorgeous pictures of this beautiful child, but they
- 29:48Speaker 1: lost her to a tragic accident. She doesn't say what.
- 29:52Speaker 1: She was treated like a criminal at the time, like
- 29:55Speaker 1: the daughter died and they immediately had to like go
- 29:57Speaker 1: talk to the police, and they had lost their child,
- 30:01Speaker 1: and she says it changed her as a person. We
- 30:03Speaker 1: moved into a new house, we started a new life,
- 30:06Speaker 1: and we now have a five year old named Jimma.
- 30:09Speaker 1: So at seventeen, she I don't know how old the
- 30:11Speaker 1: child was. It looked like the child was one or
- 30:13Speaker 1: under baby. And then so five years later, when she
- 30:19Speaker 1: was twenty two, she had this little girl named Jimma,
- 30:22Speaker 1: and she wants to be the best mom she can be,
- 30:25Speaker 1: and she says, so much has happened that I almost
- 30:28Speaker 1: felt like I don't deserve to be a mother. And
- 30:31Speaker 1: I've never left her. Leaving her will be very hard.
- 30:33Speaker 1: It's going to be very hard to adjust, and I
- 30:36Speaker 1: know being in jail is going to force me to
- 30:37Speaker 1: address things I've pushed away and I need to find
- 30:40Speaker 1: ways to forgive myself. So we don't know what happened
- 30:43Speaker 1: to the baby, but this is terrible, and yeah, I
- 30:47Speaker 1: don't We're not going to speculate because we don't know,
- 30:50Speaker 1: but I guess we're.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Going to find out.
- 30:51Speaker 1: So all right, Nate and Alan are in the five hundred. Now,
- 30:56Speaker 1: Nate and Alan are not aware of each other's participate
- 31:00Speaker 1: patient okay, so again Nate, okay, Yeah, so they're not
- 31:07Speaker 1: aware of each other's participation, which is another thing I
- 31:09Speaker 1: think is really interesting that they're not aware of each other.
- 31:12Speaker 1: And then also the staff is not aware.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Right, that's crazy. I need somebody. I need someone to
- 31:20Speaker 2: be aware. I need everyone to be aware.
- 31:22Speaker 1: I need somebody to be watching me. Twenty four to seven.
- 31:24Speaker 1: I don't want does production go home at night because
- 31:26Speaker 1: I don't want that.
- 31:27Speaker 2: I need them to stay. I need them to stay.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Yeah, so Nate says, I'm sizing up this new guy Alan.
- 31:36Speaker 1: I can tell Alan's a good guy. He just doesn't
- 31:38Speaker 1: know anything. On the first day he came in here
- 31:40Speaker 1: and asked me for shampoo.
- 31:41Speaker 2: I was like, bro, No, So here's the thing, Like
- 31:46Speaker 2: I wondered, did he ask Nate because Nate is the
- 31:49Speaker 2: only of the white person there, because I see, No,
- 31:54Speaker 2: it looks like they're the only two white people in
- 31:56Speaker 2: their sell block? Is so what you call it sell block? Yeah?
- 31:59Speaker 2: Everyone else seems if you think about it, if you rewind,
- 32:02Speaker 2: everyone else was black.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Okay, I didn't notice that. I did not notice that
- 32:07Speaker 1: they were the only two white guys.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so, I was like, so, I think
- 32:12Speaker 2: maybe that's why he gravitated towards Nate. I mean, you
- 32:15Speaker 2: gravitate towards people who look like you. Yeah, you know
- 32:18Speaker 2: what I mean. So I think that's why he went
- 32:20Speaker 2: to Nate.
- 32:20Speaker 1: For shampoo, because I think they just give him my
- 32:23Speaker 1: bars open, that's it. And then anything else like shampoo
- 32:26Speaker 1: or anything you have to buy.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Well, how you get commissary though, I don't know.
- 32:32Speaker 1: It seems like within a week they're able to get it.
- 32:35Speaker 1: You should have to suffer him. Oh shit, so he says,
- 32:41Speaker 1: He says, the first day he asked me for shampoo
- 32:43Speaker 1: and said he'd, you know, pay me back when he
- 32:45Speaker 1: got commissary. You know, he seems new and lost, and
- 32:48Speaker 1: that kind of reminds me of myself, you know. But
- 32:50Speaker 1: I'm going to look out for him because he is
- 32:52Speaker 1: making himself a target by just being a dumb looking
- 32:55Speaker 1: white dude. Yeah.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Yeah, unfortunately for him, Like he's really got a US
- 33:00Speaker 2: cut or something like that, so he looked like a
- 33:02Speaker 2: member of the Aryan nation before you went in, Like
- 33:05Speaker 2: I think that would have done him a little bit.
- 33:07Speaker 2: I get better. They were like, okay, he's part of
- 33:09Speaker 2: some kind of a gang, so.
- 33:10Speaker 1: He you know, like, yeah, but that's not good either.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Present like all the races stuck to each other. Is
- 33:22Speaker 2: that still true?
- 33:24Speaker 1: Well, I don't know. I mean, I know the gang
- 33:25Speaker 1: stick with each other.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Is that what it is?
- 33:28Speaker 1: Yeah, the gang stick with each other. They go in,
- 33:30Speaker 1: they're like you the blood, you, the cryptu, the whatever
- 33:32Speaker 1: this other name of another one. We get later scary, Yeah,
- 33:37Speaker 1: Tuel scary. So that's the point, I think. So you
- 33:46Speaker 1: want to not go there, all right?
- 33:49Speaker 2: Exactly good? Look at you, Mary Payne, look always thinking,
- 33:54Speaker 2: after all the after all these years I've learned.
- 33:57Speaker 1: So they get ready to go in. Matt and Andrew
- 34:01Speaker 1: are getting ready to Dad and son are getting ready
- 34:03Speaker 1: to go in. They're talking to the cops. You know.
- 34:04Speaker 1: They go into this thing and they say, we have
- 34:05Speaker 1: to treat you like a real prison. They put them
- 34:07Speaker 1: in change. They put them in the cop car so
- 34:09Speaker 1: that when they take him in they look like they
- 34:11Speaker 1: really have just been arrested. And Matt says, God, Matt
- 34:16Speaker 1: is saying about his own son. God, I think Andrew
- 34:18Speaker 1: looks so white and privileged, He's going to be an
- 34:20Speaker 1: immediate target. Unlike me. He looks like a total dirt bag,
- 34:23Speaker 1: you know.
- 34:24Speaker 2: And why are you making him do this?
- 34:26Speaker 1: It's unclear, it's uncod Do you hate your son? What's happening?
- 34:30Speaker 2: I did? I feel like he just he hates this boy,
- 34:34Speaker 2: like I want to go rescue him.
- 34:37Speaker 1: I do too. So we see them getting checked in, right,
- 34:40Speaker 1: and there's all sources of chaos and crazy people. People
- 34:43Speaker 1: are screaming they're in the check in area. It's nuts.
- 34:47Speaker 1: So but they're letting them just walk around. And so
- 34:49Speaker 1: I'm like, if you're in this area where people that
- 34:51Speaker 1: are being booked are in, don't they shouldn't they be
- 34:54Speaker 1: like handcuffed to a chair. All these people are just
- 34:56Speaker 1: walking around like.
- 34:58Speaker 2: No, I need them to be handcuffed. Yeah.
- 35:00Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on here. I don't care
- 35:01Speaker 1: for all.
- 35:02Speaker 2: The time, in fact, too much.
- 35:04Speaker 1: We're all in the same boat. We've all just been arrested,
- 35:06Speaker 1: but I'm going to need you to stay over there.
- 35:08Speaker 1: So now Jacqueline goes in the paralegal and she says,
- 35:13Speaker 1: I'm worried about breaking my cover. You know, she's saying
- 35:17Speaker 1: this to the cops. You know, there's drugs and things
- 35:19Speaker 1: that I'm prone to. That what Jacqueline. Jacqueline had a
- 35:24Speaker 1: drug problem. Maybe after she lost her child, maybe she developed.
- 35:27Speaker 2: A drug problem.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Maybe so she but maybe she became an alcoholic. She says,
- 35:32Speaker 1: my cover story involves alcohol, and it is that my
- 35:36Speaker 1: boyfriend and I got into a fight and I pulled
- 35:39Speaker 1: a knife on him, and then I got into a
- 35:41Speaker 1: verbal argument with the arresting officer. And they're like, okay,
- 35:45Speaker 1: like you've got the story, but don't talk too much
- 35:47Speaker 1: about your cover story, like don't bring it up, you know,
- 35:49Speaker 1: just try to blend in and lay low for a
- 35:52Speaker 1: day or two. And then she says, my cover story
- 35:55Speaker 1: is believable because of the alcohol. So I guess she did.
- 35:59Speaker 1: She probably went to some kind of depression and had
- 36:00Speaker 1: a problem. And she says, you know, I know this
- 36:04Speaker 1: experience is going to force me to answer my inner
- 36:06Speaker 1: demons and thoughts. I mean, you could just got a therapy.
- 36:09Speaker 1: You could just That's what I would do, go to
- 36:11Speaker 1: intensive therapy to work out whatever's happening. So in the car,
- 36:17Speaker 1: the cop says, she says, oh, you know, I'm really nervous.
- 36:20Speaker 1: And the cop says, do you have fake nails? And
- 36:22Speaker 1: she looks and says yeah, And they said the inmates
- 36:26Speaker 1: may want your fake nails.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Huh.
- 36:29Speaker 1: I was like, what are they going to take them
- 36:30Speaker 1: off of her and then put them on?
- 36:33Speaker 2: That is crazy? Yeah.
- 36:34Speaker 1: I was like ew. And also, don't be wearing your
- 36:38Speaker 1: fake nails, Like why are you wearing them?
- 36:40Speaker 2: Because I feel like if I were going to prison,
- 36:43Speaker 2: then I would get everything taken off, the nails, olash,
- 36:47Speaker 2: just the hair extension you because you can't have that
- 36:49Speaker 2: ship while you know, there's no one to maintain it
- 36:52Speaker 2: while you're there.
- 36:53Speaker 1: I guess the idea is she got into a fight
- 36:56Speaker 1: with her boyfriend, they arrested her and took her so
- 36:58Speaker 1: she was just as she was.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Yeah, right, So.
- 37:04Speaker 1: We see more craziness in the intake area of the
- 37:06Speaker 1: jail and Jacquelin's like, this is hell. This is what
- 37:10Speaker 1: hell is like. She said, the smell is god awful.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Bleach mixed with bodily fluids, and I was like, oh God.
- 37:18Speaker 1: And they have them seal up their belongings in a
- 37:20Speaker 1: bag and said, once your belongings in this bag, you
- 37:22Speaker 1: can't get it. So if you have any important papers
- 37:23Speaker 1: or anything, you've take them with you. And she's like this.
- 37:26Speaker 1: I felt dirty. I felt victimized because they're making her
- 37:29Speaker 1: shower and all that. You know, neked in front of her.
- 37:31Speaker 2: To take a shower when you first go to prison.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Yeah, and you have to do it in front of everybody. Yeah,
- 37:40Speaker 1: I can. So we see Nate and he's joking around
- 37:44Speaker 1: with an inmate, and this inmate's his buddy, I guess,
- 37:47Speaker 1: because the inmate goes he called me a liar. So
- 37:49Speaker 1: I ain't going to his wedding no more. I will
- 37:51Speaker 1: go to the bachelor party because I like strippers. I
- 37:53Speaker 1: like those big videos. But now this is where I
- 37:56Speaker 1: put on the close caption because I thought he said
- 37:59Speaker 1: big boot holes hose, but he said, I like the
- 38:03Speaker 1: big booty hose. He said, but I'm not going to
- 38:06Speaker 1: that big fat Greek wedding because he's called me a liar.
- 38:09Speaker 1: He's called me a liar. And Nate says, now you
- 38:11Speaker 1: were lying. You can't even keep a straight face. So
- 38:13Speaker 1: this is his buddy. They have a good relation.
- 38:15Speaker 2: They're cellmates.
- 38:18Speaker 1: It's interesting. It's interesting because Nate seems like nobody sleeps
- 38:21Speaker 1: on his upper bunk. When you see him in there,
- 38:23Speaker 1: it looks like nobody's in there. But I felt like
- 38:25Speaker 1: that guy was.
- 38:26Speaker 2: Because his roomy got his mattress and got on the
- 38:30Speaker 2: floor because he was trying to wash to see like
- 38:32Speaker 2: if Commentsary was coming through or something.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Okay, okay, okay, So Nate says, being in another sixty days,
- 38:43Speaker 1: I'm hoping to establish more relationships and get more information.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Nate tells us a new guy has come in. His
- 38:49Speaker 1: name is Rue r O. And he goes and he
- 38:53Speaker 1: seems like a player in the game. And the funny
- 38:56Speaker 1: inmate is going Rue, Ru's my bodyguard. Roo won't talk.
- 39:01Speaker 1: He only knows violence, death, murdering, mayhem, and Ru is
- 39:03Speaker 1: like nodding.
- 39:04Speaker 2: So I think that's true.
- 39:07Speaker 1: So funny roommate is trying to get in good with Rue, right,
- 39:11Speaker 1: Ruth tells us, Now, do you think Rue kind of
- 39:14Speaker 1: looks a little bit like fifty cent?
- 39:17Speaker 2: No?
- 39:17Speaker 1: I did. I found him attractive. Sorry, okay, So Rue
- 39:25Speaker 1: tells us he's never been out of the hood. It's
- 39:27Speaker 1: a goal of his. But he's only ever been his
- 39:30Speaker 1: whole life in Fulton County and that's his dream, is
- 39:34Speaker 1: to get out of Fulton County. He's in there right
- 39:37Speaker 1: now for burglary. And he goes, I'm like a line
- 39:40Speaker 1: in the jungle. If I see somebody over there that
- 39:42Speaker 1: has food, like, I'm gonna go get it. I'm gonna
- 39:44Speaker 1: kill that person for the food. He says, prison is nothing,
- 39:47Speaker 1: and you don't even know what you would do for
- 39:49Speaker 1: food or anything to survive. Now this is when well,
- 39:53Speaker 1: I mean, they give you food, like, they don't let
- 39:56Speaker 1: you starve, right, but he just wants everyone's extra. Yeah,
- 40:01Speaker 1: And he's doing pull ups on the stairs and he's
- 40:05Speaker 1: like staring at the camera, and that's when I thought
- 40:07Speaker 1: he kind of looked like fifty. Maybe it's from that
- 40:10Speaker 1: video when he's doing the pull ups.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Okay, maybe that can that It has to be the
- 40:15Speaker 2: only thing that's because their faces don't look good.
- 40:18Speaker 1: I think it was the eyes. It was the eyes.
- 40:21Speaker 1: It was at the teeth because since got the gap. Okay,
- 40:24Speaker 1: so we see Rue it looks like he's doing trash
- 40:30Speaker 1: like he's on trash duty and the guy is like
- 40:32Speaker 1: handed him a picture through the thing of like a
- 40:35Speaker 1: girl in the back or whatever, and they're chatting, and
- 40:37Speaker 1: you're like, what's this about now? Black Screen of Death,
- 40:42Speaker 1: which I've now just pult B S O D because
- 40:44Speaker 1: there's so many of them on here, right, Black Screen
- 40:47Speaker 1: of Death. Nate hears Rue telling Desmond I'm going to
- 40:52Speaker 1: try to extort other inmates in the pod. Okay, this
- 40:56Speaker 1: is these are Nates words. He's that Rue is now
- 40:58Speaker 1: going to try to extort other inmates in the pod.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Then we see Nate asking Desmond about it, and Desmond goes, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 41:05Speaker 1: he's gonna do that. But you good, you good, don't
- 41:06Speaker 1: worry like you good, and Nate says, I know people
- 41:09Speaker 1: consider me a friend and everything, but I still have
- 41:11Speaker 1: to watch my back most definitely.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's smart thinking.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Yeah. So now we see Matt and Andrew getting their
- 41:20Speaker 1: mugshots taken, the father's son getting their mugshots taken, and
- 41:24Speaker 1: Matt's like, God, this is so foreign to me. I'm
- 41:26Speaker 1: so glad my son is with me because they're doing
- 41:27Speaker 1: an intake together. And Andrew says, hawing my dad here
- 41:30Speaker 1: is like super comforting. So they do the intake with
- 41:33Speaker 1: the shower and they putting stuff in the bags, and
- 41:35Speaker 1: Andrew's like, this is awkward, Like I gotta get fully
- 41:38Speaker 1: naked in front of my dad. I'd rather get fully
- 41:40Speaker 1: naked in front of strangers, you know. Yeah, they do
- 41:43Speaker 1: the searches. They handcuff them together and take them down
- 41:46Speaker 1: the hall. They give them their commissary pen numbers and
- 41:50Speaker 1: they tell them don't ever tell anybody this number. And
- 41:54Speaker 1: they give them their mats and their bags of stuff
- 41:57Speaker 1: and your people going fresh meat, fresh meat.
- 42:00Speaker 2: That's scary.
- 42:02Speaker 1: But they take them to two separate zones areas.
- 42:08Speaker 2: See, this should have been something that they should have
- 42:10Speaker 2: worked out beforehand because they just assumed they were going
- 42:14Speaker 2: to the exact same place. But they're not.
- 42:18Speaker 1: So so the talk of the end, Matt says, I've
- 42:23Speaker 1: got a responsibility as a dad to keep my son
- 42:26Speaker 1: safe and put him in limited harm's way, and that
- 42:30Speaker 1: was my intention to help him grow. He asked me,
- 42:33Speaker 1: am I at risk? Or am I a danger? Could
- 42:35Speaker 1: I die? And I said absolutely not. That's not true.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Matt has been to what we say in our family,
- 42:43Speaker 1: the Peela Hatchie School of Drama. Matt. Okay, peel Hatchie,
- 42:49Speaker 1: you guys, if you're new, peel Hatchie is a town
- 42:50Speaker 1: in Mississippi, and at some point they had like a
- 42:52Speaker 1: Peela Hatchie School of the Arts. It's a town of like,
- 42:55Speaker 1: it's a small town. So in our family, our joke
- 42:58Speaker 1: is if you act dramatic, we say you graduate from
- 43:00Speaker 1: the Pelahashi School of Drama. So Matt has been and
- 43:05Speaker 1: I think he got a master's degree because he's very dramatic.
- 43:09Speaker 2: And he decided to keep the hair. Someone told him,
- 43:11Speaker 2: you know what, you're going places with that hair, and
- 43:14Speaker 2: so he's kept the hair, which which you know that
- 43:17Speaker 2: was thirty years ago. You need to just give up
- 43:19Speaker 2: the hair.
- 43:19Speaker 1: It's first of all, you could put it in a bun.
- 43:21Speaker 1: You could put it in a low pony. You can
- 43:23Speaker 1: part it down the middle, which is great. Yeah, great.
- 43:25Speaker 2: He probably played Romeo at some point with the long hair.
- 43:29Speaker 2: But here's the thing. It's the grooming of it that
- 43:33Speaker 2: you need to kind of do something with.
- 43:34Speaker 1: It's dirty. Wash, it's dirty. It's dirty, all right. So
- 43:38Speaker 1: now we have Nate Alan and Andrew All in the
- 43:44Speaker 1: five hundred zone. Okay, So Andrew will be in there
- 43:48Speaker 1: with the Allen and Nate and of course the three
- 43:50Speaker 1: of them. The three now we're the three white guys.
- 43:52Speaker 1: They don't know each other or all in the program, right. No,
- 43:57Speaker 1: So in the talking head, I'm just gonna call him
- 43:59Speaker 1: the colonel. He's the head of the thing, Colonel. The
- 44:02Speaker 1: colonel says, gangs are rampant in the jail. We have
- 44:05Speaker 1: strong presence of bloods and crips and gangsta disciples. Now
- 44:10Speaker 1: is that a new gang? I hadn't heard of out
- 44:11Speaker 1: gangs a new gang?
- 44:13Speaker 2: You know, they have different gangs like in different parts.
- 44:16Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 44:17Speaker 2: So I guess that's a new one. But I'll tell
- 44:18Speaker 2: you what that colonel look like. He don't do nothing
- 44:20Speaker 2: at work but talk shit and eat snacks. I'm telling you,
- 44:26Speaker 2: you don't do anything i work.
- 44:29Speaker 1: I'm trying to think the name of the gangs that's
- 44:33Speaker 1: near me. That is uh, it's like, oh shit, I'm
- 44:39Speaker 1: trying to look it up. It's like it's like MS
- 44:43Speaker 1: seven or something gang, but they only use MS thirteen.
- 44:49Speaker 1: That's what it is, Okay. MS thirteen. That's the gang
- 44:51Speaker 1: near me, and they use a lot of like swords
- 44:55Speaker 1: and knives and oh they are visitiouss vicious. And when
- 45:01Speaker 1: I sat on that jury that one time several years ago,
- 45:05Speaker 1: it was a guy that was like he wasn't he
- 45:08Speaker 1: wasn't a gang member, but they were in the neighborhood
- 45:10Speaker 1: and the guy had come and like taken his gun,
- 45:13Speaker 1: and this guy's gun was used to kill two people.
- 45:16Speaker 1: And the guy was on he was having a jury
- 45:19Speaker 1: trial because he said he didn't know anything about it,
- 45:22Speaker 1: but it was kind of proven that he did that.
- 45:24Speaker 1: He knew that this guy that but it was like
- 45:26Speaker 1: a bully in the neighborhood, like an older man came
- 45:28Speaker 1: and took his gun and then used it to kill
- 45:31Speaker 1: two people. And the guy was a gang member. Anyway,
- 45:35Speaker 1: don't come and get me fa faith Mary pay stay safe. Anyway,
- 45:38Speaker 1: I've never heard of the gangster Disciples. This doesn't roll
- 45:40Speaker 1: off the tongue doesn't roll off the sign it And
- 45:45Speaker 1: so since Andrew literally knows nothing, Yeah, coming from a
- 45:51Speaker 1: Mormon from Utah, he could give them a good perspective
- 45:54Speaker 1: on Zone five hundred. So as as he's walking in there,
- 45:59Speaker 1: one of the guys goes, if you bring one more
- 46:01Speaker 1: white boy in here.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Their numbers are increasing by the day that's increasing.
- 46:09Speaker 1: And he goes, I almost slap the shit out of
- 46:11Speaker 1: that guy, and he said, is he the police? Is
- 46:12Speaker 1: he the Feds? Is he a federal agent? He looks
- 46:15Speaker 1: like the FBI type. And I says, that boy's so
- 46:18Speaker 1: scared he don't see any other white people. And then
- 46:20Speaker 1: they're saying he's a copper. So as he's coming in,
- 46:23Speaker 1: they're just like he's a cop, he's an agent. Andrew says, well,
- 46:29Speaker 1: my first impression was, uh, it's a bit run down,
- 46:33Speaker 1: and why do we have a toilet in the middle
- 46:36Speaker 1: of the cell? I know, Andrew, did you think you're
- 46:39Speaker 1: going to the Hampton end?
- 46:41Speaker 2: I know, but like right in the middle of the cell.
- 46:44Speaker 2: Well put me in a corner to squad.
- 46:47Speaker 1: Well, I don't, That's what I mean. It's again, you're
- 46:50Speaker 1: not supposed to be comfortable. I know, I know. Yeah,
- 46:53Speaker 1: you're right, You're right. And so a guy says to Andrew, uh,
- 46:59Speaker 1: or are you locked up for He goes fraud? We
- 47:02Speaker 1: were charged with fraud. And he says, my dad runs
- 47:04Speaker 1: a charity and we were down here for a charity
- 47:06Speaker 1: event and they accused us of like taking the donations
- 47:09Speaker 1: for ourselves. But like, I don't think my dad did anything,
- 47:12Speaker 1: like and I didn't do anything. I'm not even from here,
- 47:14Speaker 1: like I'm from Utah. And they go, you ain't the police.
- 47:18Speaker 1: He goes what, he goes, you ain't the police, and
- 47:20Speaker 1: he goes no.
- 47:24Speaker 2: They asked that question as if the person will say, yeah, yeah.
- 47:30Speaker 1: Yeah, don't get me, I am the police.
- 47:34Speaker 2: You know, here's a messed up part about it. If
- 47:35Speaker 2: someone said they were a cop killer, they would be
- 47:38Speaker 2: running the prison mm hmm, like most definitely, Like I
- 47:43Speaker 2: think that's krim daya krim.
- 47:45Speaker 1: The thing is is that if you're in there and
- 47:48Speaker 1: somebody who comes in and they give you a story,
- 47:50Speaker 1: next time you're on the phone, you're gonna get your
- 47:51Speaker 1: friend to look that up and see if that's true.
- 47:54Speaker 1: You know what I mean.
- 47:55Speaker 2: That is, especially if there's suspicions. Yeah, he's saying, is
- 48:00Speaker 2: Andrew the unabomber? That is what he looks like to me.
- 48:05Speaker 2: That's all I see to me, Adam, Like, that's some motherfucker.
- 48:07Speaker 2: I'm staying away from right there because I don't know.
- 48:11Speaker 2: He just looks like he carries around fucking bombs. I mean,
- 48:13Speaker 2: he just I think he's gonna do okay, personally money Keisha.
- 48:18Speaker 1: So, Matt, the dad is going to be housed in
- 48:22Speaker 1: Zone six hundred. The colonel says, Zone six hundred houses
- 48:27Speaker 1: some older inmates that are career criminals have come and
- 48:30Speaker 1: gone for years, and they try to control the younger
- 48:33Speaker 1: guys in the pod. It can be a dangerous place
- 48:35Speaker 1: and we saw that on that other show we watched
- 48:38Speaker 1: where the old guys are trying to control the young guys.
- 48:43Speaker 1: He says, especially when the younger guys come in and
- 48:45Speaker 1: they're more disrespectful they come in, they upset the balance.
- 48:49Speaker 2: Right.
- 48:49Speaker 1: So Matt says, you know, mostly I'm afraid of my
- 48:52Speaker 1: emotions and now I've realized I'm putting my son in
- 48:56Speaker 1: a dangerous situation. And as you go in, there's door
- 48:59Speaker 1: after door after door slamming behind you, and if you
- 49:03Speaker 1: have anxiety or claustrophobia, you could feel like you're being
- 49:06Speaker 1: buried alive. I'm starting to really regret this. This is
- 49:09Speaker 1: a nightmare.
- 49:11Speaker 2: How did you not think of that shit before you went?
- 49:15Speaker 1: I don't know why didn't these people hire like what
- 49:17Speaker 1: Karen Huger did, like the prison person that helps you
- 49:21Speaker 1: understand about what prison's like before you go in so
- 49:23Speaker 1: you can when you get there, you know what you're
- 49:25Speaker 1: walking into.
- 49:26Speaker 2: Matts definitely needed that. And here we go, like, and
- 49:31Speaker 2: you still decided that this would be good for your son, right?
- 49:34Speaker 2: I don't get that part.
- 49:36Speaker 1: And that's been in jails a lot because he was
- 49:37Speaker 1: a prison chaplain, so at least he kind of understands, yeah, yes.
- 49:41Speaker 1: So now we see Jacqueline. So she's in the van
- 49:43Speaker 1: chatting with another inmate on the way to the jail.
- 49:46Speaker 1: She's going to the South Annex of the Fulton County
- 49:48Speaker 1: Jail with the women's section, and Jacqueline says she's starting
- 49:53Speaker 1: to realize she doesn't know the facility like the other
- 49:55Speaker 1: one Soup because they've been there before. And then she
- 49:58Speaker 1: gets there and people like pick up the phone in
- 50:00Speaker 1: her calling and she picks up the phone and was like,
- 50:03Speaker 1: how do I call hello? And they go, what's your
- 50:06Speaker 1: PIN number? And she goes, oh, I don't have one.
- 50:08Speaker 1: So she realizes she can't call anybody. So they tell
- 50:11Speaker 1: them grab a mattress, you know, get your bags, and
- 50:15Speaker 1: they walk into the jail and you can hear all
- 50:17Speaker 1: the chaos and the screaming I'm gonna beat your ass
- 50:19Speaker 1: and like all these you know, craziness, right, and they
- 50:22Speaker 1: show the craziest people. They don't show like the the
- 50:24Speaker 1: nice people that could be your friend or whatever. So
- 50:28Speaker 1: then we see Andrew, Natean and Allen are in the
- 50:31Speaker 1: five hundred three white guys, and it looks like Desmond,
- 50:36Speaker 1: which now we think is Nate's roommate, is just sitting
- 50:38Speaker 1: by his door looking out. He saysn't wait, no commisary
- 50:40Speaker 1: because last time I missed it, you know. So I
- 50:42Speaker 1: guess what they do. They' ring commissary and they make
- 50:45Speaker 1: a pile on the table, like this is the stuff
- 50:46Speaker 1: you ordered. So you come out, you get your like
- 50:49Speaker 1: plastic laundry bag and you put your stuff in it,
- 50:51Speaker 1: and they're watching to make sure you're getting you know,
- 50:53Speaker 1: just what you bought or whatever. It's like camp kind
- 50:56Speaker 1: of and but I don't we don't know how long
- 50:59Speaker 1: they've been there, Like you said, like was he able
- 51:01Speaker 1: to order commissary the first day? And it came to
- 51:03Speaker 1: I thought came once a week, you know.
- 51:06Speaker 2: I'm used to like orange is a New Black where
- 51:09Speaker 2: they it was almost like a little store. You yes,
- 51:11Speaker 2: it got yourself. When I saw this, I'm like, what
- 51:13Speaker 2: the fuck are they doing.
- 51:15Speaker 1: I'll be interested if Jacquelines is the same or if
- 51:17Speaker 1: Jacquelines is more. But Orange is the new Black was
- 51:19Speaker 1: like a cupcake prison, right, it wasn't It was all
- 51:22Speaker 1: very open and they didn't Yeah. Yeah, So Desmond sitting
- 51:29Speaker 1: my door looking waiting on the commissary and the talking
- 51:32Speaker 1: head Nate says, I know Rue is going to start
- 51:35Speaker 1: pushing on people for commissary, but I've been told I'm okay.
- 51:39Speaker 1: So in the talking head, Alan, our cop friend, says,
- 51:43Speaker 1: my first commissary order was like fifty dollars for necessities.
- 51:47Speaker 1: You know, I had to buy shampoo for Nate, you know,
- 51:49Speaker 1: to replace a shampoo. And yeah, I'm definitely worried somebody's
- 51:52Speaker 1: gonna try to jump me for food. And you know,
- 51:53Speaker 1: carrying a honey bun in here is like a brick
- 51:55Speaker 1: of gold. So and the black screen of death that
- 52:00Speaker 1: says Alan's first commissary order is larger than what is
- 52:03Speaker 1: typical for a new inmate, and it draws the attention
- 52:07Speaker 1: of the zone.
- 52:08Speaker 2: That's not good.
- 52:09Speaker 1: Not good. But nobody told him because Alan's like, I've
- 52:12Speaker 1: got the money, I'm just gonna go ahead and buy
- 52:14Speaker 1: all the things I need, But he should have been
- 52:15Speaker 1: buying a little by little.
- 52:17Speaker 2: I mean, because that's what I would do. I would
- 52:19Speaker 2: buy everything that I needed. I wouldn't think about like
- 52:22Speaker 2: my order is going to be bigger than this. I mean,
- 52:24Speaker 2: how much stuff can you buy?
- 52:26Speaker 1: I guess you could buy you want? Yeah, I mean
- 52:28Speaker 1: you could buy. We've seen on there. You could buy
- 52:30Speaker 1: like a speaker, you can buy. You can rent movies
- 52:33Speaker 1: like there's listen.
- 52:34Speaker 2: That's right, that's right.
- 52:36Speaker 1: So Alan goes in and gives Nathan shampoo and thanks him.
- 52:39Speaker 1: He pays it. You know, now, what Nate should have
- 52:42Speaker 1: said was no, no, no, no, no, you took my shampoo.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Now you gotta give me two. Yeah, yeah, that's true.
- 52:50Speaker 1: And an inmate named Timothy talks to Andrew and tells
- 52:55Speaker 1: Andrew he goes, now, some of these guys in here
- 52:57Speaker 1: are young as fuck, and they're gang members, So don't
- 53:00Speaker 1: surprised if people start at random fights and try to
- 53:02Speaker 1: fight with us. And Andrew's like, say, what, huh for
- 53:05Speaker 1: what reason?
- 53:06Speaker 2: What they need to fight with us?
- 53:07Speaker 1: Like yeah, what, we're just sitting Yeah. So the talking head,
- 53:11Speaker 1: Timothy says, the five hundred is nothing but blood gang members,
- 53:15Speaker 1: and they make people order stuff for commissary, or they
- 53:17Speaker 1: take their food.
- 53:19Speaker 2: You know.
- 53:19Speaker 1: I went in one time to help somebody who was
- 53:21Speaker 1: getting their food taken and the guy had a shank,
- 53:23Speaker 1: so I backed off because I'm not getting.
- 53:25Speaker 2: Stabbed over no jump food. I don't blame them, like okay.
- 53:30Speaker 1: And then we get a talking head with another inmate
- 53:32Speaker 1: who says, if I don't have if I don't have
- 53:35Speaker 1: the money, I'll push up on you. You give me
- 53:36Speaker 1: ten dollars, I won't beat you up, Like that's just
- 53:38Speaker 1: the way.
- 53:38Speaker 2: It is, Siria fucking bully he knows at school, like yeah,
- 53:45Speaker 2: give me your extra chips and stuff like that. Like geez.
- 53:50Speaker 1: Now there's a talking head and it's a young cute
- 53:52Speaker 1: guy who says, they say they'll bully you, but I'll
- 53:55Speaker 1: stand up for myself, like you know, and Nate says, yeah,
- 54:00Speaker 1: Nate has been in there for sixty days already. Guess yeah,
- 54:03Speaker 1: these newer guys are probably all about to get jumped.
- 54:05Speaker 1: You know.
- 54:06Speaker 2: That's so scary.
- 54:08Speaker 1: So over in the women's facility, we see Jacqueline. She
- 54:11Speaker 1: is entering the eye pod, which I was like, So
- 54:16Speaker 1: it's interesting because over on the men's it's like the
- 54:17Speaker 1: five hundred zone, the six hundred zone, but over in
- 54:20Speaker 1: the women's I guess they have numbers. So she's in
- 54:22Speaker 1: the eye pod. So in phase one they discovered rampant,
- 54:27Speaker 1: rampant drug activity and rampant violence in this pod. So
- 54:33Speaker 1: she's walking in with another girl and all their women
- 54:35Speaker 1: are like, who told you to go in that room?
- 54:37Speaker 1: Who told you to go in that room? And the
- 54:38Speaker 1: other girls like they came over the speaker and said,
- 54:41Speaker 1: mss so and so said, she seems to go in
- 54:42Speaker 1: here because they have bunk rooms with like eight women
- 54:46Speaker 1: in a room.
- 54:47Speaker 2: Yes, I don't know would I want that situation or.
- 54:52Speaker 1: Like is it better or worse? That's when I'm wondering,
- 54:56Speaker 1: because you have a lot of people there, if you
- 54:58Speaker 1: can make friends. And so Jacqueline sets up her top
- 55:03Speaker 1: bunk and the one girl is like, oh my gosh,
- 55:07Speaker 1: I love Balenciaga. I need some new clothes. And the
- 55:10Speaker 1: other girl girl, and the other girl goes, my daughter
- 55:13Speaker 1: has some of that her baby daddy got her. Some
- 55:17Speaker 1: girls come on, now, maybe they do. Maybe we don't
- 55:22Speaker 1: know their life. Maybe they do, they baby do.
- 55:25Speaker 2: But I just feel like that Balenciaga is gonna end
- 55:27Speaker 2: with an I instead of an A.
- 55:32Speaker 1: I like those Valenciaga's the one you wear but sucks. Okay,
- 55:35Speaker 1: So Jacqueline says, I hear some of the girls have children,
- 55:39Speaker 1: so I can relate. But I'm really having separation anxiety,
- 55:43Speaker 1: you know, realizing now that I'm not gonna be able
- 55:44Speaker 1: to use the phone.
- 55:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:47Speaker 1: Back to Matt. Back to Matt and the six hundred
- 55:49Speaker 1: old guy. Matt in the six hundred more chat about
- 55:52Speaker 1: his son and worrying about him. Blah blah blah. This
- 55:54Speaker 1: is gonna be his ongoing thing, and you.
- 55:58Speaker 2: Need to keep remembering he put his child in this situation.
- 56:01Speaker 1: That's right, that's right. And Matt chats with an inmate,
- 56:06Speaker 1: so it's it seems to be a white guy with dreads.
- 56:09Speaker 1: But then I don't want to say he's a white
- 56:10Speaker 1: guy with dreads, but he looks to be like a
- 56:12Speaker 1: white guy with dreads.
- 56:13Speaker 2: I don't think he was a white guy with dreads.
- 56:16Speaker 2: I think it was something else. He has a little
- 56:19Speaker 2: something in them. He was cute.
- 56:20Speaker 1: He was cute.
- 56:21Speaker 2: He was a white mixed with cute.
- 56:23Speaker 1: That's what he was. And and he's like, oh man,
- 56:28Speaker 1: my hair sometimes does dreads, Like I don't mean for
- 56:30Speaker 1: it too. I was like this because you don't wash
- 56:32Speaker 1: your fucking hair, and it Matt's up because you're disgusting.
- 56:36Speaker 1: It's not dreads that's called your hairs dirty. And Matt says, yeah,
- 56:40Speaker 1: I'm down for a big charge, man, but I'm going
- 56:42Speaker 1: to fight it. And dreadlight guy goes, it's not something weird,
- 56:45Speaker 1: is it, which I love because he's like, don't sit
- 56:51Speaker 1: with me.
- 56:52Speaker 2: If it's something weird, exactly, you cannot sit here. I
- 56:54Speaker 2: don't have for weirdness, Like I can't do it. So
- 56:58Speaker 2: you know, you murdered someone and you can sit here,
- 57:00Speaker 2: but uh, any strange things with cats or anything like that,
- 57:05Speaker 2: I don't want you sitting over here.
- 57:06Speaker 1: Did you do something to a kid or something? Man,
- 57:08Speaker 1: you cannot sit here.
- 57:11Speaker 2: Yeah, if it's something with a kid, get out of here,
- 57:13Speaker 2: get out of here. Play around with that shit.
- 57:16Speaker 1: And he says, no, no, it's fraud. The guy's like, oh, okay, okay,
- 57:19Speaker 1: that's fine. So then we hear prayer call, prayer call,
- 57:23Speaker 1: prayer call, and a bunch of guys go and stand
- 57:25Speaker 1: on one section and they have a prayer circle. And
- 57:29Speaker 1: I don't know if everybody gets to pray, but Matt
- 57:31Speaker 1: it takes over and says, you know, he appreciates his
- 57:34Speaker 1: new brothers and they're in there together, and I was like, already, brothers, okay,
- 57:41Speaker 1: and he says, you know, go into the prayer circle.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Really gave me an end. And some of them are
- 57:45Speaker 1: really kind, and I want to see the good in
- 57:47Speaker 1: these people. But I can't stop thinking on my son.
- 57:51Speaker 1: Oh god, this just reminded me Keisha of you saying
- 57:55Speaker 1: on Love is Blind that Megan has made Lucas diabetes
- 57:59Speaker 1: her whole personality. And I was like, Matt is making
- 58:04Speaker 1: him putting his own son in jail his whole personality.
- 58:07Speaker 2: He really is, and I was sick of it already.
- 58:09Speaker 2: We're only one episode in.
- 58:11Speaker 1: You guys, Today's Monday. The new Love is Blind episodes
- 58:14Speaker 1: ten and eleven will drop on Wednesday. You guys, the
- 58:18Speaker 1: minute those episodes drop on your Netflix, skip work, do
- 58:22Speaker 1: whatever you have to do, because those two episodes are unbelievable. Yeah, unbelievable.
- 58:27Speaker 1: You guys are gonna die. And then make sure you
- 58:28Speaker 1: listen to our recaps of course, please, okay, okay? Now,
- 58:33Speaker 1: Andrew Allen and Nate in the five hundred Rue was
- 58:35Speaker 1: walking around going, I'm gonna push up on anybody I
- 58:38Speaker 1: want to. I'll push up on anybody. He's announcing it.
- 58:40Speaker 1: He says, I'm gonna push up on the white boys.
- 58:43Speaker 1: And it is not good to be white and not
- 58:47Speaker 1: in the five hundred.
- 58:48Speaker 2: But got there because geez.
- 58:51Speaker 1: Alan is like, I feel like Ru is gonna jump
- 58:55Speaker 1: me for my commissary. And I wonder if they call
- 58:59Speaker 1: him because he jumps around a lot like a kangaroo.
- 59:03Speaker 2: No, I just think that's his outside name, Okay, but
- 59:06Speaker 2: I'd like to know why outside they need to call
- 59:09Speaker 2: him Debo because when he fucking comes around and starts
- 59:12Speaker 2: stealing people. You've probably never seen the movie.
- 59:15Speaker 1: Friday, right, Well, remember Friday. We only know the one
- 59:19Speaker 1: line about every time I'm in the kitchen, you're in
- 59:21Speaker 1: the kitchen, eat my goddamn food.
- 59:22Speaker 2: Yeah, this is another one. This is like the neighborhood
- 59:25Speaker 2: bully is Devo. Oh okay, Zbo comes around, you hide
- 59:28Speaker 2: all your shit because okay, steal it? So okay. That
- 59:32Speaker 2: reminds me of Debo.
- 59:33Speaker 1: Okay. So we see Ru running, running, and he goes
- 59:40Speaker 1: into where Alan is because are these your magazines? And
- 59:43Speaker 1: he goes, no, I don't know you can have it,
- 59:46Speaker 1: you can have the magazine. Yeah, And Alan's like, I'm
- 59:48Speaker 1: not about to get stabbed over this foolishes like he
- 59:50Speaker 1: can have it.
- 59:51Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 59:52Speaker 1: So then another guy with short dreads named Trey tells Rue,
- 59:57Speaker 1: this shows though you can push up on anybody, you won't.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: You can't push up on Monty. You can't push up
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: on Trey. And say you can't push up on Monty
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: like screen to Death inmate, Trey stands up for himself
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: and his friend Monty.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: Okay, so why why why why can nothing be done
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: to Monty.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: I don't know if Monty is Trey's trying to protect
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: him because he's not right. I don't know. Maybe he's
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: a little special. I don't know.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Okay, Okay.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: So Rue says, I'll push up on you if I
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: want to, and I'll swing on you next time. Go
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: in the room. It don't matter. So Trey says, you're
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: not going to take nothing from me, bro and they
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: walk upstairs together. Now it seems like they go and
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: they go into the room and they have a they
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: have a fistfight, and then another.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Guy boo boom, boom boom.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: And then you hear Monty say leave this shit alone, man, like,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: leave it alone. Yeah, the talking head out. But again,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: because if people don't look, the CEOs don't notice that
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: two people go missing and then one person stands outside
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: the door to guard. You know, they got a whole system.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: So if was talking head, Alan says, Ru is a
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: big dude, and Trey is like skin and bones, and
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: you gotta respect Trey because he like took that beating
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: and he didn't snitch. But then Monty decided he need
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: to protect Trey, right, so Ru went into Monty cell
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: and took this dude's commissary and another email. Another inmate
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: is yelling, why are you on that bullshit?
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: Bro?
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: And now because they're all screaming, a CEO comes up
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: and goes what's going on? And somebody says the other
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: inmate that we don't see. He says he's trying to
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: take the rest of my ship, bro, And Monty says,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: they're about to jump me, and Alan says, and even
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: I know that's not good. You don't snitch because you
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: can't snitch on somebody you get murdered for that year.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: Yep, sure, so.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Monty says Monte. Monty says to the CEO Ru was
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: trying to swipe my shit, and the inmates are all like,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: it's very important.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Not to snitch.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: You're gonna get hurt, You're gonna get killed. Yep Alan
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: goes the invates did not appreciate that stitching, and all
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: the gangs stick together.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Thanks Alan for letting us know.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Yeah, we got it. Black Screen of death officers will
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: remove Monty and Rue from the zone. So I don't
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: know if they're removed forever and they have to go
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: to different zones or what, or if they're coming back,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: it's gonna be a problem, or even if one of
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: them comes back, it's gonna be a problem with the
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: other people.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: I agree, all right.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Jacqueline's in the South Annex, and she says the hardest
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: thing to know is like when will I eat? When
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: will I shower? You know, I saw the phones, but
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I don't know how to use them. I don't know
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: what the process is. You're given nothing, no information, no instructions, which.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: That's bad, Like I feel like they should at least
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: tell them, like, look, this is how we do things.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: This is how you get your pin for this, your
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: pin for that. This is the eating schedule. Yeah, you
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: need it. I mean not like a hotel. You know
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: what I'm saying, Like when you go in, they tell
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: you everything. But I mean, damn, at least let the
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: girl know when she'll be able to call home.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I'm out. But why didn't she feel like
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: she could just walk up to the CEO station and go, hey,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: nobody's told me anything. Can you give me information about
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: when do we eat? When do we shower? You know?
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: But she doesn't ask the one girl on family locked up,
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: She's like, I need chapstick. I need this.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: I have asked for my CarMax and my chap set
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: I'm going to need when she kept going, I needna
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: sporing for my lips. Yeah, We're like, yes, you'll get
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: it when you get it. So she asked a CEO
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: when am I going to get a pin? And she goes, oh,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: you didn't get one, and she goes no, She goes
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: how long had you been here? And she goes, oh, I
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: got here yesterday or whatever today and she goes, well,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: sometimes it takes a minute. And that's all she tells her.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: I need to know what a minute is, right, But yeah,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: So now she walks around and she puts her arms
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: behind her head like this, and black Screen of Death
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: says Jacqueline has given the sign of distress that she
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: needs to meet with producers.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: And the sound of the stress is written all over
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: her face. She didn't even need to do that part,
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: like we see it. I'm like, oh shit, she ain't
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: gonna make it sixty days.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: So the production king team comes into the area and
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: production's asking her, oh, okay, so you're a new person.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: You're okay. So we're gonna do Jacqueline and then we're
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: gonna get the other new girl, but we'll do Jacqueline first.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: So they pull her into the production area. She goes
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: into the interview area and she is like crying and hyperventilating,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: and she's saying she feels like she might pass out.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: She needs to hear from her family, and she goes,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: I haven't had a panic attack in eight years, but
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: I can feel that it's coming. I haven't had a
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: panic attack since I lost my daughter. And she's hyperventilating
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: and she's like, I can't do this, I can't do this.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: I can't do this. Oh boy, okay, this season on
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: for this season on sixty days. In season four four
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: more participants enter, they will be pushed to their limits.

- 1:08:11Speaker 1: on Amazon, and I follow a lot of these people
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: and then I follow them on Amazon and then I

- 1:08:28Speaker 1: my pants are Amazon, dah D, I got this machine whatever,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: But then you don't tag the items, do you know

- 1:08:42Speaker 1: I send you some examples. Okay, everybody, make sure you're
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: following Keisha so you can get her her new LTK
