- 0:28Speaker 2: It is time to believe your worries outside and laugh
- 0:32Speaker 2: with us inside the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley along with
- 0:36Speaker 2: Trade Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Today inside the Treehouse, something
- 0:45Speaker 2: big is in a museum that you're not going to believe.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Remember the Apple Dumpling Gang back in the day, that
- 0:54Speaker 2: that old movie.
- 0:59Speaker 1: What don Knotts Classic?
- 1:02Speaker 2: Don Knotts Classic. That's right, Well, there's an updated version
- 1:07Speaker 2: to that that we'll share with you inside the Treehouse today.
- 1:10Speaker 3: But first we will start with.
- 1:15Speaker 2: In case you didn't already know, twenty twenty five slaps
- 1:19Speaker 2: and the hits just keep on coming. The latest example,
- 1:24Speaker 2: the sham Wow guy is running for Congress. We live
- 1:31Speaker 2: in an amazing time. Can we all just take a
- 1:33Speaker 2: moment and appreciate that If being arrested in two thousand
- 1:40Speaker 2: and nine after a physical fight with a prostitute in
- 1:43Speaker 2: Miami Beach floor does not sound like the beginning of
- 1:46Speaker 2: a career in politics, then you have not been following
- 1:49Speaker 2: the news for a very long time. Vince Offer born
- 1:54Speaker 2: Vince Shlomy, also known as the sham Wow Guy just
- 1:58Speaker 2: filed to run for Congress in Texas. He's officially entered
- 2:04Speaker 2: the Republican primary in District thirty one, a rural area
- 2:08Speaker 2: north of Austin. He joins a crowded field, challenging longtime
- 2:12Speaker 2: Representative John Carter, and his early messaging includes parody videos
- 2:17Speaker 2: and anty woke branding. It's one of the most unexpected
- 2:21Speaker 2: additions to the twenty twenty six Texas races so far.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Welcome the sham Wow Guy to congressional election politics.
- 2:35Speaker 1: When when did the sham Wow Guy move to Texas?
- 2:40Speaker 2: It's I'm guessing around the same time, like Eon and
- 2:44Speaker 2: Rogan and all those tech guys and the podcast guys,
- 2:47Speaker 2: along with everybuddy tone who seems to be an unwitting
- 2:50Speaker 2: neighbor to a.
- 2:51Speaker 4: Lot of them. Yeah.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I haven't had a chance to look up the actual
- 2:56Speaker 2: district map for thirty one, but I do wonder is
- 3:00Speaker 2: that the area that I'm wondering? Is it the area
- 3:05Speaker 2: where our buddy lives. Is it that area where Elon
- 3:07Speaker 2: has bought a bunch of stuff? Is that where Rogan's
- 3:10Speaker 2: studios are? Sort of in that North Austin rural bastrop area.
- 3:16Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 3:17Speaker 2: I'm not that familiar with central Texas because even though
- 3:20Speaker 2: we're all from Texas, it's big state and most of
- 3:24Speaker 2: us don't leave our bubble very often. I also like
- 3:28Speaker 2: how he changed his name from Vince Shlomi to Vince Offer,
- 3:33Speaker 2: very fitting of a pitch man of his tature.
- 3:37Speaker 1: District thirty one is Georgetown, Kalleen, Temple, Oh interested in Ville,
- 3:43Speaker 1: a little bit around Rock.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Yeah. I had car trouble that started in that area.
- 3:47Speaker 2: It was right around Temple, right around Temple, and somehow
- 3:51Speaker 2: managed to roll into Austin just enough power with no
- 4:00Speaker 2: air conditioning on, windows down and just using good old
- 4:03Speaker 2: fashioned up and down and just kind of rolling in
- 4:06Speaker 2: momentum into Austin. That was a fun road trip, let
- 4:08Speaker 2: me tell you.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Mm hmm. Yeah.
- 4:11Speaker 5: I used to go into sam Marcus and driving back
- 4:14Speaker 5: home from a Mesquite to sam Marcus and Sat Marcus
- 4:17Speaker 5: Mesquite pass through that all the time. And I mean,
- 4:22Speaker 5: I don't know, I don't know what his So it's
- 4:24Speaker 5: anti woke stuff, I don't know. I know it's a
- 4:26Speaker 5: super conservative area.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Yeah, but and it is a Republican primary, so it's
- 4:31Speaker 2: him along with the incumbent John Carter and a few
- 4:34Speaker 2: other people throwing throwing their rags into the race.
- 4:39Speaker 4: You mean there's sham wows.
- 4:41Speaker 2: No, he's the sham wow guy. The rest of them
- 4:44Speaker 2: just got rags.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:46Speaker 5: I wonder if he's gonna do that like for his campaign,
- 4:48Speaker 5: Like he's going to pass out sham wows with like
- 4:51Speaker 5: his campaign slogan on it.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Absolutely going to wipe out the debt.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Oh that's a good one.
- 4:58Speaker 2: I'm going to soak up your liberal ty and leave
- 5:03Speaker 2: behind zero streaks. I mean, I can understand I haven't
- 5:10Speaker 2: even had a chance yet because this news is so fresh.
- 5:12Speaker 2: I have not had a chance yet to look at
- 5:14Speaker 2: all his messaging and his political ads, if he has
- 5:18Speaker 2: any or if this is all just social media based
- 5:20Speaker 2: whatever it is. But I mean, yeah, a lot of
- 5:22Speaker 2: it writes itself. I mean, being a pitchman from the
- 5:26Speaker 2: two thousands, being known for the sham Wow as well
- 5:31Speaker 2: as the slap Chop. And I'm also pretty sure that
- 5:35Speaker 2: he was the pitchman for Scrub Daddy, which was the
- 5:38Speaker 2: smiley faced little sponge of which now there's a scrub Mommy.
- 5:42Speaker 2: I wonder if that's too woke for him.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Was the slap Chop a product or was that what
- 5:49Speaker 1: he did to the hooker?
- 5:52Speaker 2: The slap Shop actually describes this scenario in and of itself,
- 5:57Speaker 2: because he chopped off his tongue with her teeth and
- 6:03Speaker 2: then he hit her a bunch, hence the slap chop.
- 6:08Speaker 5: I actually have the slap chop and it works really well.
- 6:12Speaker 5: It's it's really that's one of the.
- 6:15Speaker 4: Products that I had to buy.
- 6:17Speaker 5: I saw it, I was like, you know what, I
- 6:18Speaker 5: really don't like cutting up my own vegetables, so let
- 6:23Speaker 5: me see how it works.
- 6:23Speaker 4: And it's great.
- 6:26Speaker 5: But yeah, I would like to be like every single
- 6:29Speaker 5: one of the people that are running against him. I
- 6:33Speaker 5: just want to see what their ads look like, Like
- 6:36Speaker 5: you know, you know, so and so Vince Offer is
- 6:40Speaker 5: running for Congress. Don't let him speak for you because
- 6:43Speaker 5: half his tongue is missing.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Like you, I mean, this is this is local politics stuff.
- 6:51Speaker 2: It's Republican primary and very as you said, Raj in
- 6:55Speaker 2: very conservative minded area of Texas. So I imagine most of
- 7:00Speaker 2: the other candidate's messaging is going to be America first,
- 7:05Speaker 2: or patriotic, we believe in God fit, you know, faith
- 7:08Speaker 2: and family type of stuff. Lots of you know, photos
- 7:11Speaker 2: and videos with them doing family things with the kids. Meanwhile,
- 7:15Speaker 2: Vin's offered is doing his thing. And now, granted that
- 7:21Speaker 2: incident happened all the way back in two thousand and nine,
- 7:24Speaker 2: he may have turned over a new leaf. He may
- 7:26Speaker 2: himself be throwing out some of this type of conservative messaging.
- 7:29Speaker 2: I don't know, but I think he kind of have
- 7:31Speaker 2: to lean into the angle that everyone knows him for.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Otherwise you just erase any sort of an advantage you
- 7:37Speaker 2: have over everybody else.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Right, and Trey, I.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Think you bring up a great point, Like the slap chop,
- 7:43Speaker 2: is that the product or the thing that happened between
- 7:46Speaker 2: him and the prostitute. Therefore, I think this brings up
- 7:50Speaker 2: the age old question what came first, the chicken or
- 7:53Speaker 2: the egg, or in this scenario, the actual slap chop
- 7:56Speaker 2: or the incident? Like did one inspire the like? Which
- 8:00Speaker 2: one inspired the other? Like the incident happened with the hooker,
- 8:06Speaker 2: and that gave him the idea for slap chop.
- 8:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I haven't turned it over, but I'll look and
- 8:13Speaker 5: see if it's, like in the shape of her teeth.
- 8:18Speaker 2: A proprietary design. And if they ever find her decomposing
- 8:26Speaker 2: in the woods, there'll be two ways to identify her.
- 8:29Speaker 2: One if there's any teeth left, and two the slap chop.
- 8:34Speaker 5: I mean, he can say, I mean, like, if the
- 8:36Speaker 5: hooker thing comes up, he can be like, hey, but listen,
- 8:40Speaker 5: I hired local. You know, I'm making you know what
- 8:44Speaker 5: I mean, like I put into the economy.
- 8:47Speaker 4: You know what.
- 8:48Speaker 2: As far as I know, I think it was an
- 8:51Speaker 2: American work sex worker that he had hired in February
- 8:56Speaker 2: two thousand and nine after a physical fight with a
- 8:58Speaker 2: prostitute in my Me Beach, Florida. Vince Offer born Vince
- 9:03Speaker 2: shlow Me, also known as the sham Wow Guy. According
- 9:06Speaker 2: to the police report and an arrest affid David Offer,
- 9:10Speaker 2: this is called the ShamWow Guy. The sham Wow Guy
- 9:12Speaker 2: met a woman identified as Sasha Harris in some reports.
- 9:16Speaker 2: So let me put on my ice agent mask for
- 9:19Speaker 2: a brief moment. If in this police report I see
- 9:21Speaker 2: the victim is Sasha Harris or the sex worker in
- 9:23Speaker 2: this case of Sasha Harris, I'm assuming she's not an illegal.
- 9:27Speaker 2: So you're right, Raj, he hired American made. Yeah, which
- 9:32Speaker 2: you know, you know it's not good to be caught,
- 9:35Speaker 2: you know, smacking a hooker but at least it wasn't
- 9:39Speaker 2: an illegal He paid her one thousand dollars for straight
- 9:45Speaker 2: sex in his hotel room. That's an interesting phrase because
- 9:48Speaker 2: they use it in quotations straight sex, but it's still
- 9:52Speaker 2: kind of open ended, like is it straight sex like
- 9:57Speaker 2: non gay or just straight sex? Like just sex and
- 10:02Speaker 2: nothing else?
- 10:04Speaker 1: See you means more more Yeah, no weird fetish type thing, right,
- 10:10Speaker 1: Like are we talking?
- 10:12Speaker 4: Yeah? Yeah, mm hmm. I like.
- 10:17Speaker 5: I like how Charlie Sheen phrased it. He's like, I
- 10:19Speaker 5: don't I don't pay for sex. I paid them to leave.
- 10:23Speaker 5: Uh so uh because that yeah, so the straight sex,
- 10:27Speaker 5: So that's good. I mean, but then you're you're having
- 10:30Speaker 5: straight sex, nothing weird and half your tongue gets bitten off.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Splain yeah.
- 10:36Speaker 2: A physical fight erupted when the sham Wow guy reportedly
- 10:40Speaker 2: you know what, actually for this story, you're right trade
- 10:42Speaker 2: that the slap chop guy is more suited. A physical
- 10:46Speaker 2: fight erupted when the slap chop guy reportedly tried to
- 10:49Speaker 2: kiss her and she bit his tongue, refusing to let go. Ooh,
- 10:53Speaker 2: I wonder if this is the pretty woman scenarios him
- 10:56Speaker 2: no kissing and he's like she bit down to him,
- 11:01Speaker 2: not unless you're Richard Gear.
- 11:06Speaker 4: It was Richard Gear, wouldn't be straight sex.
- 11:11Speaker 2: The slap Chop guy then punched her several times in
- 11:14Speaker 2: the face, causing lacerations and fractures. Slap Chop ran to
- 11:19Speaker 2: the lobby for help with a bloodied tongue. Both individuals
- 11:22Speaker 2: were arrested. Slap Chop was charged with felony aggravated battery.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Are you ready for the case resolution?
- 11:30Speaker 4: M HM.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Prosecutors later declined to file forward. Prosecutors later declined to
- 11:37Speaker 2: file formal charges against either person, so the case did
- 11:42Speaker 2: not result in a conviction. Slap Chop later said that
- 11:45Speaker 2: the arrest probably saved my life, though he has not
- 11:49Speaker 2: publicly elaborated on the circumstances leading to that sentiment.
- 11:53Speaker 4: I believe meth was involved.
- 11:55Speaker 5: Yes, I think there was like drugs and alcohol involved
- 11:58Speaker 5: in that.
- 11:58Speaker 4: But here's my question. We're guys.
- 12:03Speaker 5: Uh, if you are kissing a girl and she bites
- 12:06Speaker 5: down on your tongue, wouldn't you start punching.
- 12:08Speaker 2: To how hard is she biting?
- 12:12Speaker 4: Like? Not a good way?
- 12:19Speaker 2: Well then I won't hit her in a bad way.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Your good trios. This is a line a treof.

- 13:08Speaker 6: containing a holding water and not letting that water.
- 13:11Speaker 4: Go down properly.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Uh.
- 13:12Speaker 6: Then we when we get back on the ground, we
- 13:15Speaker 6: always you know, notice you know, maybe some ceiling around

- 14:50Speaker 2: free eight three three cook DFW or that website cookdfw
- 14:55Speaker 2: dot com. I'm not sure if any of us expected this,
- 15:04Speaker 2: but rip the DOGE. DOGE is no more the Department
- 15:11Speaker 2: of Government Efficiency has been shut down by the federal
- 15:14Speaker 2: government and what some are calling a friendly fire incident
- 15:17Speaker 2: because it allegedly turned into just another bureaucratic entity that
- 15:23Speaker 2: it was set out to destroy in the first place.
- 15:26Speaker 2: I love a good irony story, and this kind of
- 15:29Speaker 2: seems like it. It is no longer a centralized entity.
- 15:34Speaker 2: That is according to the first public comments from Trump's
- 15:38Speaker 2: administration at the end of DOGE. This came from the
- 15:41Speaker 2: Office of Personnel Management Director Scott Kupor. He said that
- 15:44Speaker 2: doesn't exist at least not anymore eight months early, Trey,
- 15:51Speaker 2: is this a good thing? Is this sort of like
- 15:54Speaker 2: a well they did their job and now they're done
- 15:57Speaker 2: or was this just more of a sounds like the
- 16:00Speaker 2: idea fizzled.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Well, their charter was only I mean, they're basically shutting
- 16:05Speaker 1: down eight months early. It was not something that was
- 16:08Speaker 1: set up to be a permanent fixture. I mean didn't
- 16:14Speaker 1: come close to what it's it's stated goals were I'm
- 16:17Speaker 1: gonna guess at the end of the day, probably net
- 16:21Speaker 1: neutral cut some waste, but probably wasted some money.
- 16:27Speaker 2: That sounds like a perfect government department. I mean, honestly,
- 16:30Speaker 2: that's on paper what most departments are like at the
- 16:32Speaker 2: federal level.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Well, when you're most of them just piss away money.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Yeah, given enough time, it probably would have as well.
- 16:41Speaker 5: But I mean when you have when one of the
- 16:44Speaker 5: main guys that they brought on board as an ecstasy
- 16:47Speaker 5: and ketamine addiction, I can't imagine it functioning well.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Was that the guy was that the one whose handle
- 16:53Speaker 2: was Harry Balls with Z.
- 16:54Speaker 4: No it's Elon Musk. He talked about it.
- 16:57Speaker 5: Yeah, we carred a whole thing around with him that
- 16:59Speaker 5: had next to see in Kennymine.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Well, forget him for a moment, but like one of
- 17:04Speaker 2: the guys that was actually saddled with going through and
- 17:07Speaker 2: trying to discover and find all this waste. I think
- 17:09Speaker 2: he was like a nineteen or twenty year old employee
- 17:13Speaker 2: of Musks and like his handle online was something like
- 17:16Speaker 2: Harry Balls or monkey Balls or something.
- 17:19Speaker 4: Yes, you're gonna send him an email, sir, your.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Handle violates federal HR policies. KED can you at least
- 17:31Speaker 2: change it to Harry and just take off the balls.
- 17:38Speaker 5: He's like, cool, now I means just Harry's sixty nine.
- 17:42Speaker 5: You're like, oh man, God, we.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Should have just should have let him keep the balls.
- 17:49Speaker 2: They made him worse.
- 17:54Speaker 4: That email. Can you go back to balls? Please?
- 17:57Speaker 2: Changed a lot more people, honest to God, call call
- 18:01Speaker 2: yourself whatever you want. If you can find some honest
- 18:04Speaker 2: to God legitimate waste in this government and do something
- 18:06Speaker 2: about it, Please God, make it happen. I don't care
- 18:09Speaker 2: what your what your you know, Reddit handle is.
- 18:13Speaker 1: It is funny though, because side note, uh girlfriend works
- 18:18Speaker 1: in HR and the.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Girlfriend does uh huh, oh no you remember here?
- 18:26Speaker 1: Yeah, but you like you've heard about it for ages
- 18:29Speaker 1: and and I kind of figured it. People had wised up,
- 18:33Speaker 1: you know. It's like, hey, when you become an adult,
- 18:36Speaker 1: drop you know the you know, gamer boy sixty nine
- 18:41Speaker 1: handle from your email and like get a professional one
- 18:44Speaker 1: and she gets it all the time of the resumes
- 18:48Speaker 1: of people with you know, like gamer boy sixty nine
- 18:51Speaker 1: for their email addresses. It's like, how do you want
- 18:53Speaker 1: to be taken seriously?
- 18:55Speaker 2: Do they think that doesn't show up?
- 18:58Speaker 4: They use it?
- 18:58Speaker 1: It's like you know, get another email addressed, dude.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Get a burner.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Yeah, like, you don't have to. If you love, if
- 19:08Speaker 2: you love your gamer tag or your first email address
- 19:11Speaker 2: so much that you want to hang on to top
- 19:13Speaker 2: Brony sixty nine, then fine. But yeah, at least go
- 19:18Speaker 2: to Gmail and pick up a more professional sounding one,
- 19:22Speaker 2: something that you know allows you to allows you to
- 19:25Speaker 2: lead a different life, a professional life, and whatever else
- 19:29Speaker 2: you're in.
- 19:29Speaker 4: Two on the side.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Fine, there was something in there. There was something else
- 19:37Speaker 2: in there, hr related in your girlfriend Trey. Now I'm
- 19:39Speaker 2: blinking on what it was. I guess I was just
- 19:41Speaker 2: so distracted by the fact that people still use their
- 19:43Speaker 2: idiotic email handles in a professional sense. AT's my god,
- 19:51Speaker 2: it was wrong with people. Oh, I remember what it was.
- 19:53Speaker 2: We should we shouldn't be all that surprised having the
- 19:56Speaker 2: sham Wow guy running for Congress when we had a
- 19:59Speaker 2: guy in the gun going by hairy Balls with a
- 20:01Speaker 2: Z working for the Office of Personal Management. I love
- 20:09Speaker 2: twenty twenty five. I think the time we're living in
- 20:11Speaker 2: right now really is a special, special era.
- 20:14Speaker 5: Can you imagine just sitting in that waiting room and
- 20:16Speaker 5: somebody goes, mister balls will see you now.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Plate, but the plate is also fuzzy, Like everyone made
- 20:26Speaker 2: a big deal in the movie Idiocracy, because everything that's
- 20:30Speaker 2: happening in our lives in real life feels like it's
- 20:34Speaker 2: a plot or a subplot or a sequel to the
- 20:37Speaker 2: movie Idiocracy. And in that movie, the popular shoes that
- 20:41Speaker 2: everyone wore were crocs. The popular shoes that everyone now
- 20:46Speaker 2: wears in real life are crocs. I feel like we're
- 20:49Speaker 2: only a small step away from wearing crocs for shoes.
- 20:55Speaker 2: We're eventually going to get some sort of soft, rubber,
- 20:58Speaker 2: silicone headwear to protect what little brain matter we.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Have left, let's hope not.
- 21:05Speaker 2: You don't want to be a crockhead.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I I really think you go against Darwinism if you
- 21:12Speaker 1: if you start putting helmets on people.
- 21:17Speaker 2: This country's founded.
- 21:21Speaker 4: Stilling the herd well exactly.
- 21:24Speaker 1: That's why you can't have helmets like that's yeah, I.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Mean you can have them, but it has to be
- 21:30Speaker 2: your own choice, I.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Mean now, yeah, especially like if you believe in time blindness,
- 21:36Speaker 1: please you are not allowed to wear a helmet.
- 21:39Speaker 4: Mm hmm. Yeah. Do you guys own do you Dan?
- 21:42Speaker 4: Do you own a pair of crocs? No?
- 21:46Speaker 2: I used to have some for yard shoes. But I don't, really,
- 21:49Speaker 2: I don't.
- 21:50Speaker 4: I lost them.
- 21:50Speaker 2: I don't know what happened to them.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Trey you have I at one point someone had gotten
- 21:58Speaker 1: me a pair, and granted they were comfortable, and I'd
- 22:01Speaker 1: wear them to like just go outside and.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Walk dazy or whatever.
- 22:04Speaker 2: But no, not on a date, no long going, not
- 22:09Speaker 2: on your job interview with Harry Balls sixty nine.
- 22:13Speaker 4: I think that a mandatory wouldn't do that.
- 22:17Speaker 2: You know, you get the job when they hand you
- 22:19Speaker 2: a pair of fuzzy crocks to wear around the office.

- 23:46Speaker 2: Now time for us inside the Treehouse to go on
- 23:49Speaker 2: a little road trip and step inside a place we
- 23:52Speaker 2: don't often go, and that's a museum. Twelve hundred years ago,
- 24:00Speaker 2: a Viking took a dump and now it's in a museum.
- 24:10Speaker 2: This is the largest fossilized human turd in existence.
- 24:15Speaker 4: I can think of a few others.
- 24:18Speaker 2: This is an actual turd, raj, not just a figurative one.
- 24:21Speaker 2: I agree with you, but this is just an actual turd. Yeah,
- 24:26Speaker 2: so this is a real thing. This is the largest
- 24:29Speaker 2: fossilized human poo in existence. My god, this is just
- 24:35Speaker 2: so so, that's sure.
- 24:39Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a It's an impressive sized pooh. I would
- 24:43Speaker 5: I would expect nothing more from a Viking than if
- 24:47Speaker 5: it was a small poof from a Viking, I would
- 24:49Speaker 5: be very sad.
- 24:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Well, based on research and study of this Viking turd,
- 24:56Speaker 2: apparently the Viking who left it was probably also said
- 25:02Speaker 2: at least physically okay, because, according to researchers, if I
- 25:09Speaker 2: can find it here. According to researchers, the title of
- 25:13Speaker 2: the most expensive poop in history belongs to an extraordinary
- 25:16Speaker 2: Viking copper light dating back twelve hundred years, discovered in York,
- 25:20Speaker 2: England in nineteen seventy two during construction work. It's an
- 25:26Speaker 2: exciting job. This remarkable specimen measures an impressive eight inches
- 25:31Speaker 2: in length and two inches in width, making it the
- 25:40Speaker 2: largest fossilized human excrement ever uncovered. Aptly named the Lloyd's
- 25:44Speaker 2: Bank copper Light after the nearby Lloyd's Bank, it carries
- 25:47Speaker 2: an astonishing valuation of thirty nine thousand dollars. Experts believe
- 25:54Speaker 2: it originated from a ninth century Viking who suffered from
- 25:58Speaker 2: intestinal parasites, offering unique insights into Viking dietary habits and
- 26:03Speaker 2: health conditions. Today, this fascinating artifact proudly resides at the
- 26:09Speaker 2: Yorvik Viking Center. I have questions mm hmm. Number one,
- 26:17Speaker 2: why is this turd bolted down.
- 26:24Speaker 5: I think the hold like it's that like through a casing.
- 26:30Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what it is. Yeah.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Well still it's got like the the glass or plastic
- 26:37Speaker 2: cuffs over each end of it. Like are they afraid
- 26:40Speaker 2: it's going to run off?
- 26:43Speaker 4: Well?
- 26:43Speaker 5: What if somebody bumps into it and and the pooh goes?
- 26:47Speaker 5: I don't know how to phrase this.
- 26:49Speaker 3: What does the pooh go.
- 26:52Speaker 4: The pooh shatters? Yeah?
- 26:56Speaker 2: Just imagine all the years of study, yeah, that you
- 27:01Speaker 2: did as a person, yeah, into archaeology, anthropology, the papers,
- 27:08Speaker 2: the late not study sessions, the testing, all to be
- 27:12Speaker 2: the guy that has to wear the white gloves that
- 27:15Speaker 2: carries the Viking turd around the museum.
- 27:21Speaker 1: I want to know is how do they value this
- 27:24Speaker 1: at thirty nine thousand dollars? Like what director of antiquities
- 27:31Speaker 1: was called in to u you know.
- 27:37Speaker 4: How?
- 27:37Speaker 1: Like I mean, did they take this on the Antique
- 27:40Speaker 1: road Show?
- 27:42Speaker 2: I want to see that episode. Look what I found
- 27:46Speaker 2: on my construction site.
- 27:51Speaker 5: If it wasn't fossilized, that would be like what if
- 27:54Speaker 5: it was just one of the constructive instruction workers that
- 27:56Speaker 5: took a dumb and was like, oh I gotta go
- 27:58Speaker 5: right now and on site, and I was like, no, no, no,
- 28:01Speaker 5: that's a Viking turd.
- 28:06Speaker 4: That wasn't me. That's fossilized.
- 28:13Speaker 2: I mean, we're talking about a turd here that, as
- 28:15Speaker 2: it said, was eight inches long and two inches in diameter.
- 28:19Speaker 2: That is a that's a healthy that's a healthy turd.
- 28:23Speaker 2: I'm surprised the Viking who left it wasn't found a
- 28:26Speaker 2: few feet away also fossilized after having past this thing, yeah.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Because I way, you know, think of fossilizes that. It
- 28:35Speaker 1: kind of shrieks at that point because and yeah, what
- 28:41Speaker 1: what was he eating that his turd fossilized? I feel
- 28:44Speaker 1: like they you know, get wet, they dissolve.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Lies, come and break it all down.
- 28:50Speaker 8: You're right, yeah, maybe it's like the old you know, uh,
- 28:56Speaker 8: the camping thing that I heard, like it dig a
- 28:58Speaker 8: hole and then you can poop it and then you
- 29:00Speaker 8: cover it.
- 29:01Speaker 4: So maybe he did that.
- 29:02Speaker 5: And then you know, after twelve hundred years, you know,
- 29:06Speaker 5: they're like, hey, we need a parking lot here.
- 29:07Speaker 4: Oh look, Viking turd.
- 29:09Speaker 2: So these guys are everywhere Jesus.
- 29:14Speaker 5: And how okay, how do they know what's I'm like,
- 29:17Speaker 5: the test ding it like, I don't know how they
- 29:19Speaker 5: know it's like, well, this is a this is definitely
- 29:22Speaker 5: a Viking, definitely a Viking turd.
- 29:26Speaker 2: You know what if if they can do twenty three
- 29:28Speaker 2: and meters and figure out true certain things, I'm sure
- 29:33Speaker 2: they can find out some things about a twelve hundred
- 29:37Speaker 2: year old fossilized turd.
- 29:41Speaker 1: And I always figured if you have intestinal parasites, they're
- 29:44Speaker 1: eating what you're consuming. Clearly they had had enough because
- 29:53Speaker 1: because then if it weren't for intestinal parasites, there's gonna
- 29:56Speaker 1: be some bleeding involved with that.
- 29:57Speaker 2: One, right, because this is the one that got out. Yeah,
- 30:03Speaker 2: we don't know what might have been left inside of him,
- 30:06Speaker 2: a lah elvis. You know when they when they opened
- 30:09Speaker 2: up his insides, all the stuff that was impacted.
- 30:12Speaker 1: How do we know that isn't the intestinal parasite? How
- 30:16Speaker 1: do we not know that that's the ancestor of tremors?
- 30:24Speaker 4: Nobody moved a muscle.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Because honestly, Trey, you're right when you look at this thing,
- 30:31Speaker 2: it actually does look like one of the worms from trimmers,
- 30:34Speaker 2: exactly like Michael Grossman and Reba uh or not Reba
- 30:39Speaker 2: is the Reba McIntyre. Mm hmm, yeah, I can see
- 30:43Speaker 2: Michael Grossman from Family Ties and Reba McIntyre shooting this
- 30:46Speaker 2: thing in the mouth with an elephant gun in their basement.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Maybe that's the origin story. We found it Hollywood's big
- 30:57Speaker 1: digging up eighty stuff.
