- 1:20Hey guys, welcome to the live stream.
- 1:22Welcome to the basement. Great to see you.
- 1:24We got a lot to talk about today.
- 1:26Before I forget, we should be joined here in about 15 minutes
- 1:30by our friend Jax. Jax is the founder of the meme
- 1:34con convention, Meme coin convention.
- 1:37They go on all over the world. This guy is in tune with what's
- 1:41going on in meme coins. So be sure to stick around and
- 1:44let's have a great conversation with him.
- 1:46But thank you for being here. First, my disclaimer guys, I'm
- 1:50not a financial advisor. Don't buy or sell anything based
- 1:53on what I say. I would recommend that whatever
- 1:55you do with your money, investment wise, purchase wise,
- 1:59always do it responsibly. And don't forget, Susie and I
- 2:02are aligned with you if you are a UFD bean holder.
- 2:06We ourselves do own a huge amount of beans.
- 2:09I want to say a special thank you not only to you for being
- 2:12here, but man, we had a great, great conversation last night
- 2:17with the people from HTX. God, John hosted a Spaces.
- 2:22I think we had 1000 people that either had listened to it or
- 2:26engaged with it. And I really, really learned a
- 2:29lot about HTX #1, their global reach.
- 2:32But even more important, and I've been picking up on this
- 2:35over the last three or four weeks since they listed us.
- 2:39And I asked you, why did they list us?
- 2:41Because of you, right, We didn't have anything to do with it.
- 2:44They chose us because of the robustness of our community and
- 2:49what we have accomplished with UFD.
- 2:51That's an important point for us to remember.
- 2:54But what's really cool about HTX, I'm going to pull up their
- 2:58profile here quickly and we are is HTX like looks at the, they
- 3:03don't list a lot of of tokens by the way he said that.
- 3:06And when they do, they look at it as a partnership which
- 3:10explains why on a real regular basis we are seeing this from
- 3:16HTX which is post like this one that they put out every day they
- 3:20get 100,000, this one already has 48,000.
- 3:23We are included in their marketing post, which is a big
- 3:28deal. Hold on here.
- 3:29Can you find the Unicorn? There we are right there.
- 3:34So thank you HTX. It was a great experience
- 3:38getting to know you last night and we'll look forward to more.
- 3:40They said we could do more of these in the future.
- 3:43A great opportunity, right? We, we will partner with other
- 3:46meme coins. We will partner with NFT,
- 3:49whatever we'll partner with with HTX.
- 3:52And of course, we're very grateful for our sponsors Ledger
- 3:55and Moon Pay. So what about a bean shortage?
- 3:58I thought this summed it up. This is exciting for UFD,
- 4:03something that maybe we don't talk about quite enough.
- 4:06But hold on one second here guys, got a little technical
- 4:11issues going on. There we go.
- 4:17Hold on one second. Hello, Can you see me?
- 4:25And what I want to talk about next once I can get the stream
- 4:29yard to be working is hold on here.
- 4:36There we go. OK, sorry about that.
- 4:42Now let's pull this up. This is exciting for UFD.
- 4:45Anson brought this up. And who is Anson?
- 4:48Oh what I didn't realize this and some has 740,000 followers.
- 4:57Are you kidding me? And I'm sharing the wrong
- 4:59screen? There we go.
- 5:01Hopefully we can get stream yards figured out here guys.
- 5:05And some look at this 740,000 followers, subscribers,
- 5:12whatever. I had no idea but listen to what
- 5:14he said. Pretty cool that you can just
- 5:17bull post things to billions of dollars in market cap now.
- 5:23He's referring to SPX 6900. He said this thing traded sub 50
- 5:27million market cap for a year until all the holders left were
- 5:32people who just decided not to sell anymore.
- 5:36And then he shows a chart of SPX.
- 5:38And as you can see, right, like they were down here for a long
- 5:42period of time and over time, with grit and determination,
- 5:47right, they built a strong base. And eventually what they got was
- 5:53AI. Guess you could call it an SPX
- 5:55opoly. I had no idea.
- 5:56And some had 740,000 followers. The guy's smart.
- 6:00That's what we're doing right now.
- 6:02That's what this is. Right now we're filling the jug.
- 6:07The jug cannot get any bigger, period, and we're filling it
- 6:12with diamond hood dusters and eventually, and that's what
- 6:15happened to SPX, right? Eventually we fill it up to a
- 6:19point where we have a bean shortage and then we have a
- 6:22beanopoly, right? Yes, we go to Guadahala, the
- 6:32Viking heaven. OK, Remember what he said,
- 6:38right? And it's not just bowl posting
- 6:39with UFD, right? It's solid relationships you're
- 6:43building every day with each other.
- 6:45I need to move on because I've got Jacks coming on here in a
- 6:47few minutes. Here we got another big account
- 6:51talking about UFD and boom, Mr. Ape.
- 6:55Think he has 80,000 or so Subs? Yeah.
- 6:58OK, look, stop flipping and start believing in your cult
- 7:03thesis. He should change that CULT to
- 7:06COLT, but #2 right, He's got SPX 6900, right is destined to
- 7:12billions UFD. He list us second is destined to
- 7:16billions. Big people know, big people
- 7:19understand what is going on with UFD right now.
- 7:23News out of channel sponsor Moon pay.
- 7:25Let's sit on this and I think this is great for us as a UFD
- 7:30community and I'll explain to you why it says I'm onboarding
- 7:34the world. Onboarding the world is easier
- 7:37with friends. We've partnered with valr.com,
- 7:41Africa's largest crypto exchange by trading volume to streamline
- 7:46Fiat to crypto access. Africa's largest highlight that
- 7:52Africas largest crypto exchange by trading volume.
- 7:56So Moon Pay now is making it easier for people in Africa, in
- 8:01the African market is absolutely huge and we have just as much of
- 8:07A presence there is anyone else? Because you know what guys, you
- 8:10can buy UFD on Moon Pay. So I was super excited to hear
- 8:15this. We had that video from the
- 8:17African village not too long ago.
- 8:19So all our friends in Africa make some noise, right?
- 8:23And let people know UFD, let them know Moon pay.
- 8:27I think it's a great opportunity for our community, right to
- 8:30develop further deeper roots all around the world.
- 8:34This is great. Hold on.
- 8:39This is funny. 35 seconds of Michael Saylor and what he says
- 8:44I believe is very, very true. We get the volume on OK.
- 9:25OK. Sorry about forgetting to share
- 9:26the right screen, but what I want to tell you the key of what
- 9:30Michael Saylor was saying there is very simple, OK, basically
- 9:34said the first country that prints their own currency to buy
- 9:38Bitcoin wins. What he's basically saying is
- 9:41think about it. the United States government prints money
- 9:44like crazy. They can just print another
- 9:47whatever it would take. What's the total market cap of
- 9:49crypto? One point something trillion
- 9:52that's really a drop in the bucket and buy all the Bitcoin
- 9:55in the world. They could probably buy, you
- 9:57know, a good portion of all the crypto in the world.
- 10:00Let's go out to coin market cap and see.
- 10:03Or they could buy all the gold in the world.
- 10:05I mean, it really is crazy the possibilities there.
- 10:09We are. We're still #712 about $29
- 10:13million market cap. Let's go out here to ranking
- 10:19categories. Here we go.
- 10:24Yeah. So there's now now officially,
- 10:26guys, 17,000,000 cryptos. Remember, we are #700 that's a
- 10:33big accomplishment. Market cap of all crypto, $3.4
- 10:38trillion. Don't forget the total debt of
- 10:41the United States is like 37 trillion.
- 10:44So the total market cap of all the crypto in the world really
- 10:48is like barely 10% of the total debt of the United States
- 10:53government. It's really crazy.
- 10:55So this idea, and that's what he talked about.
- 10:58I don't know if you had the volume on there, if you're able
- 11:00to hear him. The idea is that a country, and
- 11:04not just the United States, but other countries could do it as
- 11:07well, could just print money and buy Bitcoin, print money and buy
- 11:11crypto. It's really a crazy situation,
- 11:14but there's nothing stopping. And he says the first country to
- 11:17do that will be the country that wins.
- 11:20He also talked about his company micro strategy.
- 11:23That's basically issuing stock, right?
- 11:26They're able to kind of print money by doing that and buying
- 11:30Bitcoin and how the market cap of the company has gone up I
- 11:33think about 10 times. Basically what you're talking
- 11:38about is, is trading something that's infinite, right?
- 11:42You can print infinite numbers of dollars, you can print them,
- 11:46print them, print them. So the forever to buy something
- 11:50that is finite in nature, in this case crypto.
- 11:53In this case, he was talking about Bitcoin.
- 11:56OK, let's move on here. Let's do the duster of the day.
- 12:01Today we have a special duster of the day, and that is our
- 12:06friend Cactus Slack. Let's get his.
- 12:11There we go. You should be seeing Cactus
- 12:13Slack right now on your screen. He's a critical member of our
- 12:18community. Much appreciated, nominated by
- 12:21several people. But as you can see, right, a big
- 12:24supporter, there's one of gastronomas like he re posted
- 12:29big supporter of our community and he had a special message.
- 12:32He was on last night on the spaces with us always there's
- 12:36Korean cigarette pack. Those are UFD stickers going up
- 12:39all throughout Korea. OK, he's got pacemaker here, but
- 12:42he was on the spaces last night working hard for our community.
- 12:47And here's what Cactus Slack wants to say to you.
- 12:52The UFD community said hey Ron, I'm doing well.
- 12:57I'm beyond honored to be considered for Duster of the
- 13:00day. Never did I think on December
- 13:0218th what this journey would be. I bought ha ha funny fart thing.
- 13:06I didn't do my research on you. I woke up and bleary eyed saw
- 13:11that the chart had tanked. Thanks Mirage and dumbly sold.
- 13:14I fully woke up and watched a single video of yours and bought
- 13:18right back in at a loss because I realized my mistake.
- 13:22Total turn around time about 30 minutes.
- 13:24Laugh out loud. It's been full conviction from
- 13:27that point since then. I've met so many amazing people
- 13:31in the herd, even on boarded my whole friend group.
- 13:34We really do have the best community in crypto.
- 13:38Real people, real kind. When one of us is in need, we
- 13:42rally. We have lots of fun and laugh a
- 13:44lot. We really do have the best dev
- 13:46in crypto. Thank you, you reaching out with
- 13:49kind words and condolences to me, to other members of the
- 13:52community, to thank them, to ask them how they're doing,
- 13:55etcetera. That just doesn't happen in
- 13:57crypto. You are the Unicorn, Ron.
- 14:00Well, thank you. I'm flattered and the herd has
- 14:03your back. Thanks for all all you do.
- 14:05Horns up. Wow man, thanks Cactus Slack.
- 14:11You guys just really blow me away when I get to hear directly
- 14:16from you what you love about UFD.
- 14:19And it always comes down to one thing.
- 14:21If you notice that, it's our relationships with each other.
- 14:26Relationships are what is valuable in life, right?
- 14:30And that value I believe very likely right is can be infinite.
- 14:36And that can and that can can definitely relate to the fact
- 14:39that I believe UFD also has infinite potential, right?
- 14:44We can go anywhere. There really is nothing that is
- 14:48stopping us because of the value we create with the relationships
- 14:52that we have. So check the slack.
- 14:55Congratulations, Dusters. Horns up.
- 14:58Sometimes I forget I did the darn disclaimer.
- 15:00But what's more important, right?
- 15:02Horns up, Dusters. Right.
- 15:04This is a big, big deal. What we're engaged in.
- 15:07Let's all let's all reach up here, huh?
- 15:09Can you feel your horn? I can feel my horn.
- 15:12You want to rub horns? How about a three second smile?
- 15:17Now that's when we all smile at each other.
- 15:19When I say go for three seconds, go.
- 15:25Feels better, doesn't it? I'm going to smile.
- 15:27The rest of the video. We're supposed to have Jax
- 15:29joining us. Hold on here.
- 15:31Oh, wait. First we need to install cactus
- 15:33slacks. Golden Horn, help me lift this
- 15:37thing up. It's a beautiful one.
- 15:39It's well deserved. Cactus slack at boom.
- 15:43There you go. Congratulations, you are the
- 15:46duster of the day. I'm going to check my DMS here
- 15:50real quick to see if I have any messages from our friend Jax.
- 15:55Make sure we're not having any technical issues and it doesn't
- 15:58look like we are so believe he'll be joining us here
- 16:01shortly. Let's look at social dominance.
- 16:06Let's look at this is this is interesting.
- 16:08This one really got me and here we go.
- 16:14Hopefully we are together. All right guys, this came from
- 16:18as the duster as an MO bowl do a great job tracking our social
- 16:23dominance. Important we keep on track of
- 16:25how well we're doing. This was as of yesterday,
- 16:28dusters were ranked third in pumped out bun ecosystem, up
- 16:32from 4th and 26th amongst all meme coins on lunar crush.
- 16:37And don't forget we're about the 700th largest crypto in the
- 16:41world only because of you 24 hour stats there 214,000
- 16:47engagements. UFD is still the only salon.
- 16:49I mean Point who's founder is sponsored by Moon Pay and
- 16:52Ledger. We are very grateful for that.
- 16:54Don't forget Ledger guys, the cryptocurrency hardware wallet
- 16:59security leader. They've got the new Ledger flex
- 17:02Solana edition. They've got a new series out
- 17:04this summer. Don't get wrecked.
- 17:06Some really cool fun things to watch about crypto.
- 17:09Put security first, learn from my mistake, right?
- 17:13Things do happen unfortunately and you want to you want to
- 17:17think about security before there's a an incident.
- 17:20All right, back to the social dominance.
- 17:22When comparing UFD, this is interesting to the higher rate
- 17:25coins based on price and market cap.
- 17:29The market cap of the coin in first place spark coin right two
- 17:33places ahead of us is almost 50 times greater.
- 17:37Their market cap is 50 that 50% fifty times greater than UFD.
- 17:43The market cap of the second place going peanut is almost 10
- 17:48times greater than UFDUFD represents the best risk to
- 17:51reward ratio opportunity amongst the socially dominant tokens in
- 17:55the pump on ecosystem. And let's pull up.
- 18:00Let's pull up this one. OK, that shows it.
- 18:04I mean, really? Come on, guys.
- 18:07Is this ridiculous or what? Look, this is our share right
- 18:13here. OK, let's do far coin in a
- 18:16different color. We're doing a little coloring
- 18:18today. We'll do far coin in green.
- 18:22This is far coin. Is it bigger?
- 18:25Yes. That box represents their social
- 18:28engagement. Is it 50 times bigger?
- 18:33No. OK, let me let me hold on here.
- 18:36Let me go back one if far coin. If their if their social
- 18:40dominance was was reflective of their market cap bigger than
- 18:44ours, their box would roughly be this big.
- 18:50OK, probably bigger. The darn screens not big enough.
- 18:53So guys, we are undervalued. We do it.
- 18:56And what's the thing that everybody talks about?
- 19:00I see Jax, we're going to bring you up in one second after I
- 19:02rant for a little bit. Everybody says the same darn
- 19:05thing, right? That the value of a mean coin is
- 19:08based on the community is based on the social engagement.
- 19:12We got the best community, right?
- 19:14We've got great social engagement.
- 19:16We're as we're as good as anybody.
- 19:18Hats off to Fartcoin. Congratulations.
- 19:20No doubt about it. But when all the gurus say that
- 19:23what ultimately determines value is engagement of the community
- 19:28is the sense of belonging in the community, I can't see anybody
- 19:31who can beat Unicorn fart to us. Let's bring up the man, the
- 19:34myth, the legend, Mr. Jax, See if I can get them on here.
- 19:38Jax, can you hear me? I can.
- 19:40Can you hear me? Yeah, you look good, man.
- 19:42Perfect. You sound great.
- 19:44You look good. Great to see you, Jax.
- 19:46You, you too mate, you too, and hopefully this doesn't put out
- 19:50like last time, so hopefully we're good with the stream.
- 19:52Yeah, well, you know what? Well, we we trust me.
- 19:55I have issues. We all do.
- 19:56People understand when we're live that things happen.
- 19:59But let me introduce you. You are correct me if I'm wrong.
- 20:03One of the founders or the founder of the meme?
- 20:06Is it meme con Convention? I apologize.
- 20:08Meme con? Yeah.
- 20:09Exactly. Yeah, Meme Con, which is the
- 20:12meme coin conference. The conference that's been going
- 20:15on for several years now all around the world.
- 20:18You just wrapped up Lisbon. How you doing, Jax?
- 20:21It's always I, I really, I really like you.
- 20:23And I know you know a lot you. If anybody's going to have a
- 20:26feel for what's going on in meme coins, it's you.
- 20:29So thank you for joining me and our viewer today here in the
- 20:33basement. Yeah, Thanks, dude.
- 20:35Yeah, so very good. We just finished up our second
- 20:39conference in Lisbon. So, yeah, like, like you just
- 20:42said, we've been going now since started this in December 2023.
- 20:47And we just had our last event in Lisbon only last week
- 20:51actually. Yeah, very a different feel to
- 20:55last year. I think the the start of this
- 20:58year was a strange one. We were talking to people at the
- 21:00event. It wasn't really a bear market.
- 21:03I don't know what it was. It was just a very odd, odd time
- 21:05in the market, in the market itself.
- 21:07But but yeah, no, it's overall very positive.
- 21:10And hopefully we've got some other news that we had to share
- 21:12with the community that we might be heading stateside at some
- 21:17point. So there we go.
- 21:18Wow, really? That's awesome.
- 21:20Have you have you done a a previous conference in the
- 21:23United States? Never, ever.
- 21:25Yeah, it would be the first one. And there's not been, as far as
- 21:28I'm aware, there's not been a really a mean coin conference
- 21:32head out to the States ever. So it would be the first one for
- 21:36us and I think a bit of a, yeah, history in the making.
- 21:40Jack, I have an idea. I can I can I give you an idea?
- 21:43Of course you're the boss. You're going to do what?
- 21:45But if you come to Saint Louis and people are getting sick of
- 21:48hearing me talk about this, you got to check out a place called
- 21:51the City Museum. It's a one-of-a-kind.
- 21:54It's not really a museum. It's like a steampunk.
- 21:57This artist built the world. It's like in A10 story old 100
- 22:01year old building. It's like the world's coolest
- 22:04playground, is how I could explain it.
- 22:06And I love to. And it's all built out of
- 22:08recycled materials, I'm telling you.
- 22:10And they have big conference facilities there, I'm telling
- 22:14you. And it's right in the middle of
- 22:15the United States. So it's easy to get to now.
- 22:17I'll, I'll shut up. Of course, I'm selfish.
- 22:20But I'm telling you, buddy, check out the city and everybody
- 22:23out there that likes, I think it's just like the perfect place
- 22:26for a meme coin convention. So, but enough of that.
- 22:29We're not. People aren't here to hear about
- 22:30Saint Louis. They want to hear about what's
- 22:32going on in the meme coin world. And sounds like the Lisbon event
- 22:37that was a was a was a success, which is great to hear.
- 22:41And I look, I've only been in mean coins for six months, but I
- 22:44agree with what you said like January or maybe February,
- 22:48March, April. I didn't feel like it was the
- 22:51end of the world or anything, but it was a strange market for
- 22:55mean coins, I think in particular.
- 22:58It's like usually if it's a better market, from what I
- 23:02remember for the past seven years, most people leave, they
- 23:05kind of disappear and go away. But I don't feel like any of us
- 23:08went away. It was just, we were still, we
- 23:11were still in the trenches. We were, but it was just kind of
- 23:14despair across kind of like across that it was despair, but
- 23:19we were still there. It's like we don't see people
- 23:21leaving. So I think like the people that
- 23:24are here now are really here to stay for good.
- 23:27And that's why I was actually talking about this on a space
- 23:30yesterday with some of the meme con community.
- 23:33I feel like now like you just have these core regions O GS
- 23:38that just are like, if you've gone through multiple cycles in
- 23:42this place, you've been wrecked. You're not going anywhere.
- 23:46So so yeah, I think it's just up to us now.
- 23:49The ones that are still here, still sticking around, that we
- 23:52still see the potential. And yeah, I'm sure we'll all be
- 23:56here for at least a long time. And so we've all made it.
- 24:01I, I, I, I think you brought up a great point and I think it
- 24:05bears a little, maybe a little further discussion if you have
- 24:08any other insights you can share.
- 24:09But I've heard a lot of other leaders in the crypto and in the
- 24:13mean point sector say the same thing.
- 24:15And I kind of feel it, which is, you know, and I really feel this
- 24:19to be true. Like there was a sense of
- 24:21despair, right? I mean, a lot of mean coins went
- 24:24down 9095% in value, but it was like, and at least, and I see
- 24:30everything through the perspective of UFD, but it felt
- 24:33like to me that our UFD community, maybe it maintained
- 24:37its numbers, but the quality of the community shot up
- 24:42astronomically. Like it like it was this
- 24:44actually a blessing in disguise where it kind of galvanized the
- 24:48community and, and, and I think like built this continues to
- 24:54build like this foundation and platform from which, you know,
- 24:58when things get better, that that, that, that we could have
- 25:01some real benefits from that. Yeah, definitely.
- 25:04I mean, you, you pointed out earlier on the stream you were
- 25:08talking about Anson speaking about SPX that, you know, and
- 25:11lots of these means that I mean, every meme usually during a
- 25:16cycle goes down 90%. So that's that's normal.
- 25:19But like when you look at the likes of SPX or you look at all
- 25:23the kind of other meme coins out there that are building like a
- 25:26really solid base, solid community, Those ones are
- 25:30usually the ones that rebound the hardest.
- 25:32And those ones are usually the ones I still don't think we've
- 25:35gone through a full meme con, sorry, meme con meme coin super
- 25:38cycle yet. And I think we're still in for
- 25:41like some of these meme coins to run extremely hard.
- 25:46Like if you look at some of the older, the older cycles, and
- 25:49that's that was before even that Bitcoin now being over 100K and
- 25:53all of these incredible kind of like catalysts that we have
- 25:56coming up meme coins in the past.
- 25:58Some of them run up to like 30 billion, stuff like that, like
- 26:01Sheba back in some of those old kind of like mean coin cycles.
- 26:05So although we do have like a ton more coins across the space
- 26:10and liquidity is far more kind of fragmented across all of
- 26:13those, I still think that we're going to have some some of the
- 26:16mean coins like go into like full yeah, you know, multi cycle
- 26:22kind of like mean coins. I think you guys are in that
- 26:25category. You can see it from the
- 26:27community that you're building as well.
- 26:29I, I know, I know that our viewers love to hear that.
- 26:31Jackson, you know what one thing that gets me excited about about
- 26:37crypto is like, it's this fair and level playing field, you
- 26:41know, like, like, like it's, it's, it's all transparent, It's
- 26:44all there. And that UFD and any other mean
- 26:48coin for that matter as well has potential to be as big or bigger
- 26:53than anybody else. Like we really do have that
- 26:56potential now, you know, obviously who knows what the
- 27:00future brings, but I asked people that at the very
- 27:03beginning, I would say, like, is there anything keeping UFD from
- 27:07becoming as big as any other meme that's ever been?
- 27:09They're like, no, there's really literally nothing there.
- 27:12And it's this, it's this fair playing field.
- 27:16Does that make sense? That gets me so excited.
- 27:18It's the block and it's transparent and, and, and, and
- 27:23the community is in charge. I mean, that's the other thing
- 27:25that gets me. Like the people, I guess it's
- 27:27democratization are in charge. Yeah, definitely.
- 27:31You also have like the law as well behind your your main coin,
- 27:35which is very strong as well. So the story as well is a very
- 27:39strong one. And you can see like your
- 27:41community rallying behind you the the fact that you know,
- 27:44again, like you seem to have, like you're just showing your
- 27:47social kind of impressions as well really high, but especially
- 27:52for the market cap that you are now.
- 27:54But you can see that like I know you rebounded a few weeks ago
- 27:57and I think you kind of like doubled in price back on I think
- 28:01around 28 million today. That's a, that's a pretty damn
- 28:04strong flaw in my opinion. And you can see that even if you
- 28:09like go back to Anson's post about SPX or some of the bigger,
- 28:12bigger like ones that are hitting the billions now, they
- 28:15did all around the same price for a very long time.
- 28:19And they just basically they go sideways for sideways for months
- 28:23and months and months, sometimes even like a year.
- 28:26And then all of a sudden once you've built that base and you
- 28:29just see it's not going down there.
- 28:30All of the sellers are exhausted.
- 28:32All you're left with is basically diamond handed
- 28:35community members. The only way is like up from
- 28:38that point. But you do have to go through
- 28:40seeing all of those people that aren't diamond handed holders,
- 28:43they have to exit so. Once you.
- 28:45Stick around and build. Then you're in a position.
- 28:50Yeah, right. I have my jug, you know, and I
- 28:53mean literally like if this jug represents all of the UFD
- 28:57tokens, all 999 million of them, like you said, right?
- 29:01It's a slowly it fills up with with people that are dying.
- 29:05We call them diamond hooves, right?
- 29:06Diamond handed, whatever. And you get to a point where
- 29:09like it's almost like, and I can't think of a good way to
- 29:11describe it, but it's like the the scales start to tip, right?
- 29:15You get to a point where so many people are are holding and
- 29:20aren't going to sell and then it can create kind of a very, I
- 29:26think OB one of our community members last night called it
- 29:28escape velocity, right? Like things really start to kind
- 29:31of build upon themselves. So we're ready.
- 29:34Like it's all I see it as almost like being like almost launching
- 29:38again. Like when a token launches,
- 29:40right, you have more buyers than you do sellers because people
- 29:43are just basically riding on like a wave of kind of euphoria
- 29:46and height. But then after a while,
- 29:48obviously once, once people have made 10X20XA100X, you're
- 29:52obviously going to have sellers and then you're going to have
- 29:54people that are just taking profits.
- 29:56But once you've gone down and down and down and down and down
- 30:00until all of those sellers are exhausted, it's almost, I think
- 30:03it's like launching. And because then all of a sudden
- 30:04you've got only probably buyers coming in and all of the people
- 30:08that are holding you don't have a floor.
- 30:10They're never probably going to. They're never going to sell like
- 30:14again, like the local price. Yeah.
- 30:16And like you said, unfortunately that takes time and, and you
- 30:20know, I know I'm not a patient person.
- 30:23Most people aren't. And I think in, in, in, in
- 30:25crypto, people have a very short, you know, kind of time
- 30:28horizon, but day by day by day, that's what I say.
- 30:32Like we every day, I think the one of the biggest catalysts we
- 30:36can have is maybe 10 new people, twenty 100, whatever that are
- 30:41buying that aren't going to sell and is that builds and builds
- 30:44and builds. That's what it's really.
- 30:46And I like the way you said that because it's almost like a
- 30:48relaunch of the token. It's like because right, the
- 30:52initial euphoria, I mean, for the first two or three or four
- 30:56days, probably weeks, we were a gambling token, right?
- 30:59People were were trying to make a quick buck.
- 31:01And now that that's done, now we are in this process of of really
- 31:07building things out and then. You'll have the next floor of
- 31:10holders as well, right? Because at some point whenever
- 31:12you do shoot back up to wherever you go and you're, you're bound
- 31:16to go past that all time high again and then whatever after
- 31:19that. But then you would like to think
- 31:21you've already got that floor around 28 million or wherever
- 31:24you are now, where is the next floor?
- 31:26The next floor might be 100 million.
- 31:28So then after that you just build on that floor again and
- 31:31again and again. Yeah, wow.
- 31:33I love talking to you, Jax. I want to talk more about
- 31:35Memecon. The other thing I thought of, I
- 31:37wanted to mention to you, another great person in the in
- 31:41the in the meme coin community, who I've I'm just getting to
- 31:45know, but I have wonderful, great impressions of is a guy
- 31:48named Frankie Lapena. He's a big YouTube celebrity.
- 31:52I don't know if he's the guy with the big butt.
- 31:55Yeah. And he's got his own coin.
- 31:58And if you're talking about doing something in the United
- 32:00States, it'd be great if Frankie would be there too because he's
- 32:04I mean, he is just a real gem of a person.
- 32:08So just another idea. He included us in one of his
- 32:12recent videos, but I think, you know, there's some really good
- 32:17people out there in the meme coin sector.
- 32:19I'm I'm fortunate and I include you in that as well, like good,
- 32:24genuine, nice people. So can I ask you a quick
- 32:30question? Can you help educate me?
- 32:32I keep seeing this on the timeline and I know I could
- 32:35probably Google it, but I thought I'd ask you, what does
- 32:37wag me stand for WAGMI? Do you know what that means?
- 32:42We are going to make it. There's a terrible if you want
- 32:45to like you want to go and see Wag Me though, and it is a
- 32:47flight that's one of those like bearish.
- 32:49I think it's quite like a like it's cringy kind of crypto.
- 32:55What was what you call them Whatever.
- 32:56But yeah, there was a Wag me got a video from what's his name,
- 33:02the guy who runs Facebook is. Zuckerberg.
- 33:06Muckerberg, his sister, put a song called We Are Going to Make
- 33:10It, which was awful and that was almost the the last top in one
- 33:13of the other cycles. So yeah, you see people starting
- 33:17to say we are going to make it usually.
- 33:19So OK all. Right.
- 33:21Yeah, I see it. I'm not, not in regards to the
- 33:23UFDI, just keep I see it on post.
- 33:25I'm like, what does Wag me stand for?
- 33:27You know yesterday I did have Frankie Lapin on and his coin is
- 33:32gyat GYAT. And I was like, I had to ask him
- 33:35like, what does Gatt stand for? And I thought that was an
- 33:37acronym. And I kept thinking like, and he
- 33:39explained to me, that means that's the way people refer to
- 33:42large rear end. So you know, I'm on a roll
- 33:45learning. Today, yeah, but I knew the coin
- 33:47was called Gatt, but I didn't know.
- 33:49Yeah. Yeah, that's, I guess it's like
- 33:51a slang term with Gen. Z's for like, you know, like the
- 33:55what are the Kardashians or whatever the people have it.
- 33:58But let's see, what else can we talk about?
- 34:01Your, your, your event in Lisbon went well.
- 34:05You're feeling like, like you said and correct me if I'm
- 34:08wrong, that people are people. We've gone through this period
- 34:13of despair, it feels like to a certain degree, but the people
- 34:16are really loyal. Is that is that a good
- 34:18assessment of what you're feeling?
- 34:20Yeah, I think so. It's just, it's kind of the same
- 34:22what I just said. But I just feel like if you're
- 34:25still here, you're not going anywhere.
- 34:28And if you've got a community already that are already backing
- 34:32like a token like UFDI, hide it. Like if you've already, they've
- 34:36already made friends. You said it yourself, like this
- 34:38is a huge thing now about making friends as well within this
- 34:41space. And if you have community, you
- 34:44have your tribe. I think it's very unlikely that
- 34:46those kind of people will leave. It's similar to it's similar to
- 34:52even like before like the kind of meme coin kind of crazy cycle
- 34:55last year. Like if you went back to kind of
- 34:58like other alt coins back in 2017 all the way through to
- 35:03before that meme coin cycle, before meme coins really took
- 35:06over, you could say like a lot of the alt coins were pretty
- 35:10much meme coins in my opinion. They were just basically coins
- 35:13with like very like loyal communities.
- 35:16I would say, not that I'm a big fan of Ripple, the company, but
- 35:20XRP is like a very kind of like meme kind of community, like
- 35:26very, very cult like. Most of them never sold.
- 35:31And I think that's similar to to what we're seeing with the meme
- 35:33coins now is just the difference being is that they're way more
- 35:37fun. Like memes are just fun.
- 35:39They're way more viral. Yeah, go on.
- 35:42Well. And and and I want to get your.
- 35:45I want to learn from you because you've been around, you talked
- 35:48about XRP and I've heard that said about a lot of the quote UN
- 35:52quote utility coins that have been launched in the last three
- 35:564-5 years that, you know, a lot of them are launched and they've
- 35:59got big money behind them and big investors and they promise
- 36:03all this utility and what they're going to do and change
- 36:06the world. And you know, they have, I think
- 36:08they're called Icos and that generally like most of them,
- 36:13like 96% of them wind up essentially becoming just mean
- 36:17coins. And, and because they don't
- 36:20deliver on what they said they were going to do.
- 36:22And on top of that, when they do, when they do go public or
- 36:27have their Icos, basically that's like just the original
- 36:31investors to a lot of time, not all the time, but a lot of time
- 36:34the original investors, the VC funds, whatever, just kind of
- 36:37cashing out in using retail as, as liquidity to cash out.
- 36:43And then these things just basically turn into essentially
- 36:47into meme coins. Is that is that?
- 36:49Have you observed that or? Yeah, pretty much in a way, I
- 36:52guess like most of the coins that were launching in the past,
- 36:55right, that went through Icos were a bit before that around
- 36:592017. But then you went through like,
- 37:01yeah, VCs getting early into all of these tokens through like,
- 37:05you know, very early seed rounds.
- 37:09And then once the token is launched, they have a vesting
- 37:13schedule where they will basically sell their tokens to
- 37:16people when the tokens are launched.
- 37:18But I think most people are a bit more clued up to this.
- 37:20Now that comes back to that comes back to where we are with
- 37:24meme coins now, especially with things like pump fun, how all
- 37:27these tokens were launched because most of you know, VCs
- 37:30weren't getting in on these tokens at the start.
- 37:33And most of these VCs aren't in these tokens, not until they're
- 37:36probably much higher market caps.
- 37:38I'm sure Farquin has quite a lot of very large investors and
- 37:41other ones. But that makes it, in my
- 37:44opinion, much stronger for the likes of meme coins because you
- 37:48just have communities that are holding rather than people that
- 37:52are going to dump on you at every single second, every
- 37:55single opportunity. So like we're going on before
- 37:57now you have this floor around 28 million, you're only going
- 38:02up. You're not going to have
- 38:03hopefully people just dumping on you in constant cell pressure,
- 38:08which is very good. And yeah, going back to the the
- 38:11type of utility kind of coins, altcoins, XRP, all of these
- 38:15other ones, they went through a similar thing.
- 38:18They went through years and years and years since 2017 of
- 38:21sideways action. And now you kind of see XRP back
- 38:25up at around like $2.00 or something like that.
- 38:28But that's that's sometimes how long it takes as you really have
- 38:32to shake out we cans and just build kind of like a community
- 38:37of people that are just will not sell.
- 38:39So yeah. Wow, wow.
- 38:41We're going to stay on for a few more minutes if that's OK, Jax
- 38:44and I, but I do want to say thank you.
- 38:45We've got over 500 people right now.
- 38:48Actually more like 6 or 700 people live with us.
- 38:50So thank you to everyone who's joining us.
- 38:52Please retweet this. If you're watching on YouTube,
- 38:55subscribe to the channel. But most importantly, and I
- 38:58think I can speak for Jax. We appreciate, you know, each
- 39:01and everyone of you joining us here here today.
- 39:05I wanted to mention also, as we talked about meme coins that
- 39:10Brian Armstrong, who's the CEO of Coinbase, like 7 weeks ago,
- 39:16he made the statement that he thought Bitcoin had essentially
- 39:20turned into a meme coin as well. So you know, with, with UFD and
- 39:26that and I, you know, and I know Bitcoins way different.
- 39:29Some people, including myself can sometimes we like to say
- 39:32we're baby, baby Bitcoin because of the communities similar ish.
- 39:36But with us, I think one thing, and I'd like to get your
- 39:39perspective on this, that was all by accident, Jax, because I
- 39:42had no strategy to start this thing.
- 39:44I had no idea was all just kind of happened literally like
- 39:48spontaneously. But I think one thing now in
- 39:51hindsight that's cool about UFD is like we didn't have any
- 39:56promises from the very beginning, like 0 promises,
- 39:59right? We didn't come out like
- 40:01everything. And and I like to say that about
- 40:03UFD, like we are, we, we like to keep this, this ideal that we
- 40:07under promise and over deliver like we didn't have any
- 40:10promises, no big investors. And it just kind of organically
- 40:15grew. And I don't know if it's the way
- 40:16you're in, you're in Spain. Is that right?
- 40:19Are you Portugal? In Portugal, but in the United
- 40:22States, if you want to buy something that's organic at a
- 40:26grocery store, it's much more valuable, It's much more
- 40:29expensive. And I think that like the pure
- 40:32just base organic foundation of UFD, it sets it apart in a lot
- 40:39of ways and all and sets it apart in a good way.
- 40:41Definitely, yeah. I didn't catch that with Ryan
- 40:44Armstrong, but I've heard other people call Bitcoin and mean
- 40:47coin. And yeah, I would agree.
- 40:49I mean, look, it's it's pretty much impossible for the average
- 40:53person now to buy one Bitcoin unless they've got 100.
- 40:57And what is it today, 7000 lying around their house.
- 41:00But like, even if you go back to like the earlier days of
- 41:03Bitcoin, the stories, the law around Bitcoin is really strong
- 41:08and very, very similar to a meme.
- 41:10And there are memes all over the world just about Bitcoin, right?
- 41:13If if you speak to somebody about Bitcoin, they won't really
- 41:16know much about it. They would have just heard
- 41:18stories about people who have got rich off of Bitcoin or they
- 41:22might yeah. So definitely I would say
- 41:26Bitcoin is a meme and that's obviously great for for our
- 41:31space as well. I.
- 41:32Think I'm going to pull up your website here real quickly to
- 41:38show people, make sure I share the right screen.
- 41:41There we go. It should be up now guys this is
- 41:45Memecon dot LOLI love that dot lol.
- 41:49Where you can go to learn more about Memecon Upcoming events?
- 41:55What's the next event that you have?
- 41:56Is there? Is there anything on the
- 41:57schedule at this point? Yeah, this is it.
- 42:00So as I said, we're I'm in the process of looking at bringing
- 42:04this stateside, but I haven't set any dates yet.
- 42:08So yeah, this the website will need to be updated in the next
- 42:11couple of weeks. But yeah, we're that's the plan
- 42:14at the. Moment and a lot of content on
- 42:17this website where people can go look at previous you know
- 42:23previous events, things that you've done and wow really cool.
- 42:28I love your website, so I'd encourage everybody to go out
- 42:31there support jax. Oh, you know what Jax let's go
- 42:34out and let me go to the your hold on here.
- 42:38Bear with me one second. I apologize.
- 42:40I'm going to take everybody out to your Twitter profile as well
- 42:45so they can go check that there we are hopefully you guys are
- 42:52Yep, you can see this it's meme con right at meme con under
- 42:58score at meme con under score OMG so you can follow him on X
- 43:04and get up updates, but also go out to the website.
- 43:07What did I forget to ask you, Jax?
- 43:09Anything else we want to talk about this morning?
- 43:12I, I don't know if there was something else you wanted to ask
- 43:14me, but yeah, feel free. I'm more happy to to sit and
- 43:18talk to you and see always good, good conversation.
- 43:21Yeah. No, I'm good.
- 43:22I think, you know, the biggest thing that I was interested in
- 43:25was hearing from you kind of your read on what you're feeling
- 43:29because I mean you're running these conventions, you were in
- 43:33this, let's say. I do have a question for you
- 43:36actually. So you've been in this now for
- 43:38all coming up, what, a year and a half, two years you've been
- 43:40running these conventions? Yeah, Mean coin now would be a
- 43:44year and a half about that, yeah.
- 43:46How? What was it like in the mean
- 43:49coin sector, let's say maybe like like a year ago right now,
- 43:56I'm just curious what it what, how different it was to, to what
- 44:00we're seeing right now. Very, yeah, very different.
- 44:03There's some differences and some not, but the biggest
- 44:06difference was that I think you had a lot, well, so before one
- 44:11year ago, you obviously had that cycle with mean coins where they
- 44:15were going absolutely ballistic. But you still had people on the
- 44:19sidelines who are very kind of sceptical about meme coins.
- 44:22Or they were maybe annoyed because there was sidelines and
- 44:26they hadn't been trading meme coins.
- 44:28They really didn't pay much attention because there are a
- 44:31lot of people honestly like pre this just thought meme coins
- 44:33were scams. So the difference being is that
- 44:38you, I think now we've seen a lot of people that were
- 44:41sidelines have now come in late. A lot of those people got
- 44:45totally wrecked, which is what I think was like happening at the
- 44:50start of this year when people we went through that kind of
- 44:52like, as I say, weird, not bear market, but I think just
- 44:56generally just people have having been wrecked on meme
- 44:59coins. So I think the difference is now
- 45:02is just a lot of those people maybe have left now.
- 45:06There's definitely like the volumes have gone down.
- 45:08You can see even with like pump funds on pump fund launches,
- 45:11they're not making as much revenue as they were at that
- 45:13kind of peak. I think it's just waiting on the
- 45:16next kind of like cycle for meme coins like bitcoins obviously
- 45:21gone crazy. We're still waiting for kind of
- 45:23the dominance on bit Bitcoin to drop.
- 45:26And I think it doesn't make sense to me if we don't go
- 45:31through another kind of old season, full blown old season.
- 45:35So I think we're just waiting for Bitcoin dominance to drop.
- 45:38And then as always, meme coins always pump the hardest.
- 45:42So it will go through probably another thing like Bitcoin, then
- 45:46Ethereum, then you've even seen recently Ethereum meme starting
- 45:50to pump. This will trickle down
- 45:53everywhere. But I think at the end of the
- 45:55day, meme coins always pump the hardest and they will be that
- 45:59will win again. But we're just, yeah, it's just
- 46:01it's basically like, yeah, Bitcoin dominant wrestle at the
- 46:05moment. Trying to see when that drops.
- 46:07Yeah, yeah. You know, it's interesting
- 46:09because I was, you know, I was a gold and silver guy.
- 46:11I still love gold and silver and for decades and the same thing
- 46:15happens in that sector. Like when the gold price takes
- 46:19off the big mining companies, which would be like the bitcoins
- 46:24of the world. They they start to do well and
- 46:27then after that, the mid size companies, they start to do well
- 46:31and then the little tiny junior companies that are maybe
- 46:34exploring whatever, they're the last to move, but they move at a
- 46:38much more exaggerated rate than than all the other ones.
- 46:42So that makes sense, you know, and I think I think there's some
- 46:45good signs going on out there. One more question, Jax, you,
- 46:51you, you've been engrossed in the meme coin sector.
- 46:54You've observed a lot of different meme coin communities
- 46:57obviously over the years. Is there anything that stands
- 47:00out is like the most important thing or anything that you've
- 47:04kind of had a moment where you're like, you know, that's
- 47:07what makes 1 meme coin more successful than another meme
- 47:11coin? Yeah, a couple of things.
- 47:15The first one that came to my head was the community really
- 47:21supporting each other, but almost like a family.
- 47:25The ones that really are there everyday you start to see the
- 47:30same people, the same faces and you build up basically a very
- 47:34strong base of community members that are going to kind of push
- 47:37the project forward or push the forward with things like content
- 47:42or anything else that you you kind of see happening.
- 47:46So the the strongest communities I've seen have been ones that
- 47:51they have almost have a kind of like family, kind of like feel
- 47:54to them. That's that's my opinion on it.
- 47:57And then the other let me think about what other ones you've
- 48:00got. You've got community.
- 48:04I would say just like again, that I kind of think it's
- 48:07something that Murad kind of said a while, like believe in.
- 48:10Like we have to believe like I don't know if you write with
- 48:14that slogan, but you do have to believe that if you're in it,
- 48:19you're in it. Like if you're jumping between
- 48:21different coins all the time, you're going to get wrapped.
- 48:24Like it's a, it's a brutal kind of market, especially at the
- 48:28moment. It's really brutal.
- 48:30So. You you have to build a base,
- 48:33you have to believe in what you're buying into a meme coins
- 48:36because as soon as you start jumping around, you're just
- 48:38gambling. You're you're literally you are
- 48:40a gambler. So best advice really is to look
- 48:44for what is like a multi cycle means the ones that will stay
- 48:47the longest, find the meme coins that will be here in cycles, 234
- 48:55cycles ahead. And those would usually come
- 48:58back in my opinion, to the ones that have the strongest
- 49:00community, have the strongest law, have the story to be able
- 49:05to kind of sustain that. If there's not a community
- 49:08there, if there's no volume, you're probably not going to
- 49:11win. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 49:14That's, that's very interesting. The the other question I had for
- 49:18you, as you've observed these communities over the years,
- 49:22you've mentioned they're like families.
- 49:24And in any family there's going to be squabbles, right?
- 49:28And so squabbles and little arguments.
- 49:30Have you observed that? That's like the bigger, the
- 49:33bigger the family gets. And as it evolves and is self
- 49:38policing that you're going to have some squabbles from time to
- 49:40time and that that's part of the process.
- 49:43And I tried to explain to what somebody was like if, if, if our
- 49:48if our community wasn't growing and evolving, if we didn't, you
- 49:53know, the only way to not have squabbles is to not have a
- 49:56community, to not have the family.
- 49:57Is that? Is that part of the part of the
- 49:59process too that you've observed?
- 50:01Yeah, it's like the the whole goal, right?
- 50:02If you want your token to just go up.
- 50:05And that's really the end goal for most people.
- 50:08I know that obviously people are here because they do love the
- 50:10family, they do love the community and that maybe money
- 50:13isn't their ultimate goal, but I think 90% of people in this
- 50:16space are, are kind of like money driven as well.
- 50:18But if you want people to come into your community and to see
- 50:22the, you know, number go up, then you need to, in my opinion,
- 50:26have like a space that feels like safe, that feels fun and
- 50:32that feels inviting. So you need to have new people
- 50:36come in and feel welcomed. And if it's not even about being
- 50:40welcomed, you need to have something attractive enough to
- 50:43for them to stay there. And that can come in my opinion.
- 50:46But also back to things like the law.
- 50:49If there's kind of like things that are like on the in only
- 50:53people on the inside know kind of like cryptic, kind of almost
- 50:59like 4 Chan like message boards where like you don't really
- 51:03understand it unless you're in on the inside.
- 51:06But that also draws people into your community as well because
- 51:09it's things that you may don't understand.
- 51:11Like you said, wag me things like that, right?
- 51:14Well, people, people like we call people that don't own UFD
- 51:20butter cups. And I always say like, you know,
- 51:22if you're a buttercup, you don't know what a buttercup means.
- 51:24So I explain that to them. But everybody in UFD knows what
- 51:27buttercup means and everybody knows what duster, right?
- 51:30Like we call ourselves dusters and the diamond hooved means
- 51:34that you're diamond handed, you're a hodler, you're going to
- 51:37hold on. And we've got all these and I've
- 51:40thought like maybe we could even come up with like a fun little
- 51:43like test that we give people like, you know, do you want to
- 51:46become a duster? Well, you know, you have to pass
- 51:49this four question multiple choice test just for fun, right?
- 51:53Like as a, as a, as a welcome. And you pointed out something
- 51:56that I feel very strongly about and I and I do try to reinforce
- 52:01this with our community. It's like, you know, the our
- 52:04welcome wagon, as I like to call it, is probably one of our most
- 52:09important things, right? The the way we welcome new
- 52:12people and give them, let them know that like we are inclusive.
- 52:16We don't, we don't care what color your skin is, your hair
- 52:19is. We don't care what your religion
- 52:21is. We don't care if you're
- 52:22conservative or liberal. We are very inclusive.
- 52:26What we care about is that you want to come here and connect
- 52:30with other people and and that you want a fair shot, right?
- 52:33A fair transparent on a shot. So wow.
- 52:38The whole things like butter cups or dusters or all of those
- 52:43things, it's all about identity, right?
- 52:45Yeah, People literally like, feel like it's a part of them
- 52:49and it's a part of your identity.
- 52:51I've necessarily, some of the most powerful things about meme
- 52:53coins is that like I feel like some of the meme coins that I
- 52:56hold, like it is literally a part of my identity now.
- 53:00Like that is something as well. If you can find a community that
- 53:03really has a strong identity, a strong purpose, likelihood is,
- 53:08in my opinion, that you're going to have new people want to join
- 53:11because they want to be a part of that as well.
- 53:13So yeah, yeah, I need to write this down because as I'm talking
- 53:17to you, like when I think about like it's like things like
- 53:20identity or like intangible things.
- 53:23But when I, when I think about UFDI, think about things like
- 53:27fairness and goodness as like our real core, you know, the
- 53:32good attracts good. So hold on, I'm writing that
- 53:35down. You should charge me, Jax, a
- 53:38consulting fee. All right, buddy, why don't you
- 53:42and I stick around? I'm going to end the live stream
- 53:44here. And if you have a few minutes,
- 53:46I'd like to visit with you offline.
- 53:47But I want to say thank you to everybody who's joined us today.
- 53:51The viewer, right? The most important is Jax and I,
- 53:54but there's you out there, dusters and butter cups and
- 53:58diamond hooves. We appreciate everybody.
- 54:01And Jax, if you have any parting words, I'll I'll let you say it
- 54:04and then I'll I'll end the stream.
- 54:07I just appreciate you appreciate the UFD community as well and
- 54:10hope to to meet a lot of you this year at some point, yeah.
- 54:14Sounds good. Thanks, Jax.
