31 Cats Rescued from Abandoned Boat | Dayton News
Thirty-one cats and kittens were rescued from an abandoned boat in Tacoma after police discovered a feline crew living there — with about eleven more still on board. Led by Officer Cheri Page, Pierce County Animal Control safely corralled the cats, many of whom were flea-ridden but otherwise healthy. The rescue highlights how unchecked pet populations grow — often starting with just a few unspayed animals.
