- 0:00Speaker 1: What's going on everybody. Hope you are doing well.
- 0:03Speaker 2: We recorded this podcast episode and Table Talk interview show
- 0:06Speaker 2: on Monday, February tenth, twenty twenty five. By the time
- 0:10Speaker 2: you hear this, some things may have changed here or there,
- 0:12Speaker 2: but we hope you enjoy the show. Welcome to Table
- 0:36Speaker 2: Talk here at the Philadelphia Sports Table podcast show, the
- 0:38Speaker 2: longest running weekly Philly sports podcast show in the world.
- 0:42Speaker 2: That's right over eleven and a half years strong, and
- 0:44Speaker 2: we got a great discussion coming your way on Table Talk.
- 0:47Speaker 2: A lot of us are still in shock and awe
- 0:50Speaker 2: by what the Philadelphia Eagles did last night to the
- 0:54Speaker 2: Kansas City Chiefs. My gosh, I can't believe it was
- 0:57Speaker 2: as dominant as it was.
- 0:58Speaker 1: My gosh, I don't think it's set in yet.
- 1:01Speaker 2: However, aside from the Eagles, we've got some other sports
- 1:04Speaker 2: teams here in Philadelphia that we want to dive into
- 1:07Speaker 2: as we are moving forward. We're gonna be getting into
- 1:09Speaker 2: a lot of Philadelphia Flyers Talk this week. There was
- 1:12Speaker 2: a recent trade which we really want to get into
- 1:14Speaker 2: and dissect on this Table Talk podcast, so we're gonna
- 1:18Speaker 2: get to that right now, as well as some other
- 1:20Speaker 2: Flyers Talk let's get right to it.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Joining us this week to get into some Flyers talk.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Absolutely love talking to her from the Locked On Flyers podcast,
- 1:29Speaker 2: and you can follow her over on Blue Sky. A
- 1:32Speaker 2: lot of us are enjoying Blue Sky right now at
- 1:34Speaker 2: this point in time, we can.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Follow her over there at r Miriam, We've got the
- 1:38Speaker 1: one and only Rachel Donner. How you doing, Rachel, I
- 1:41Speaker 1: am good.
- 1:43Speaker 3: As we were just talking offline, it's still kind of
- 1:46Speaker 3: coming down from the Eagles, yes, but very important flyers
- 1:49Speaker 3: stuff to talk.
- 1:50Speaker 2: There's a lot of important flyer stuff going on. I mean,
- 1:53Speaker 2: last week on our podcast, Rachel, I mean, we briefly
- 1:56Speaker 2: dove into the trade the Flyers recently made, sending Joel
- 2:00Speaker 2: Farrabee and Morgan Frost a Calgary for Jacob Peltier and
- 2:05Speaker 2: Andre Kuzmenko some future draft capital as well that the
- 2:09Speaker 2: Flyers acquired.
- 2:11Speaker 1: And you know, I've been giving it some thought.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Over the course of this past week, and I'm thinking
- 2:14Speaker 2: to myself, I guess, I guess first after digesting this
- 2:19Speaker 2: trade from what you have been able to like take
- 2:21Speaker 2: in from it, first off, do you like it? If so,
- 2:25Speaker 2: why or why not? Then I'll do a follow up
- 2:27Speaker 2: question with you, So, after you've digested this trade, do
- 2:30Speaker 2: you like it?
- 2:31Speaker 1: Why or why not?
- 2:33Speaker 3: I am more and more convinced that you cannot answer
- 2:35Speaker 3: that question, right, okay, And I'll tell you why because
- 2:39Speaker 3: and Danny Breyer pretty much said as much that this
- 2:42Speaker 3: is part one of a two part deal right where
- 2:46Speaker 3: he had a clear cap space and you know, figure
- 2:50Speaker 3: out roster construction and all that to have the space
- 2:55Speaker 3: and the means to either get a one seat or
- 2:57Speaker 3: a top defenseman more likely a one seat, right, Grier
- 3:00Speaker 3: is talking, right, And so I feel like if part
- 3:04Speaker 3: two isn't successful, part one is.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Bad, right right, right? Absolutely, Like the two.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Parts of this deal that Danny is attempting here have
- 3:17Speaker 3: to go hand in hand. And I would say, you know,
- 3:20Speaker 3: you look at Joel Ferraby and Morgan Frost, right maybe
- 3:23Speaker 3: not maybe definitely not as strong of seasons as you
- 3:26Speaker 3: would have hoped for them, right and so, and with
- 3:29Speaker 3: Farby's contract, it made sense that if you're going to
- 3:33Speaker 3: trade guys in a deal like this to set yourselves
- 3:36Speaker 3: up to try and acquire a one seat. Sure, these
- 3:40Speaker 3: two guys made sense. But there's an emotional gap on
- 3:44Speaker 3: this team now. They were very very like, well liked.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Plus the unfortunate luck of the delay of Peltier and
- 3:53Speaker 3: Kuzmenko getting there made that emotional gap glass longer, and
- 3:58Speaker 3: so and I think it's had like a negative effect
- 4:01Speaker 3: on the locker room. I don't know that it's a
- 4:03Speaker 3: long lasting effect, because we'll see what these new guys,
- 4:06Speaker 3: but I think that, you know, they's just the unfortunate circumstances,
- 4:11Speaker 3: plus given who they traded away and the fact that
- 4:15Speaker 3: this is not the completion of the mission. Danny Brier
- 4:19Speaker 3: has like, I'm just having a hard time grading it
- 4:22Speaker 3: at all.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I think it's absolutely fair, Rachel.
- 4:25Speaker 2: I mean it's fair because again, like I said, you know,
- 4:27Speaker 2: we've been digesting this now for about a week here,
- 4:30Speaker 2: and the paperwork issue with them getting into the United States.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I mean, what a kick in the nuts that was
- 4:37Speaker 2: in terms of the actual.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Not entirely their fault, not entirely.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I don't blame.
- 4:41Speaker 3: The Flyers necessarily for it, given the circumstances, but I
- 4:45Speaker 3: just it's it has an effect, whether it's your fault
- 4:49Speaker 3: or not, it has an.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Effect absolutely well. The second part of this topic in
- 4:53Speaker 2: question that I wanted to get your opinion on it,
- 4:56Speaker 2: and it's essentially what Lennon and I were talking about
- 4:58Speaker 2: last week on our show, is what the trade says
- 5:01Speaker 2: about the Flyer's front office at this point during this rebuild,
- 5:05Speaker 2: this restructuring, you know, whatever we want to call it.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Really here at this point, I'm getting just tired of
- 5:09Speaker 2: the phrase rebuild as we're moving along here with this,
- 5:13Speaker 2: But what does this trade say about the front office
- 5:15Speaker 2: aside from the cap space. I mean, there's been a
- 5:18Speaker 2: narrative that Danny Brier wasn't going to make the big trade. Okay,
- 5:21Speaker 2: you know what when he came into the fold last
- 5:24Speaker 2: year's GM, he had to make some moves. He got
- 5:27Speaker 2: rid of some guys that weren't going to be long
- 5:30Speaker 2: term for this team. Kind of easy type of transactions
- 5:34Speaker 2: that he was making. Is Danny Brier gonna make the
- 5:37Speaker 2: tough choices? That's kind of been that narrative behind the
- 5:40Speaker 2: scenes here that we've all been talking about. We see
- 5:42Speaker 2: this and it's kind of like, wow, Okay, Danny Brier
- 5:45Speaker 2: is making some decisions here. It goes to what you
- 5:47Speaker 2: were saying before with that first question of you know what,
- 5:50Speaker 2: we really can't grade it now, but I do wonder
- 5:53Speaker 2: what this particular transaction does say about this front office
- 5:57Speaker 2: at this point during this restructuring rebus.
- 6:00Speaker 1: What are your thoughts.
- 6:02Speaker 3: I think it shows that Danny Brier is willing to
- 6:04Speaker 3: change the plan if he feels like there's some a
- 6:07Speaker 3: better way to do it right, And you know, whether
- 6:10Speaker 3: it is better or not again remains to be seen.
- 6:13Speaker 3: But I think that this probably wasn't necessarily the plan
- 6:17Speaker 3: to make this kind of of a big move. I
- 6:20Speaker 3: think he expected Joel Ferby and Morgan Frost to be
- 6:23Speaker 3: better for the team, yes, honestly, and so I didn't
- 6:26Speaker 3: think he was going to want to trade these guys
- 6:29Speaker 3: at this point. And I also think that the team
- 6:34Speaker 3: being better than they thought last year and slightly better,
- 6:38Speaker 3: then they need to to get a top top pick
- 6:41Speaker 3: in a much much weaker draft than was originally projected
- 6:44Speaker 3: to three years ago. Right looking at this draft class,
- 6:48Speaker 3: I think they thought they would be able to get
- 6:50Speaker 3: those top players in the draft this year and they
- 6:53Speaker 3: lost that bet, and so he Briers had to change
- 6:56Speaker 3: tactics a little bit, and I think that you know, again,
- 7:00Speaker 3: whether it's successful, we'll see, But the fact that he's
- 7:03Speaker 3: willing to change tactics, he doesn't you know, see like
- 7:08Speaker 3: doesn't have blinders on and isn't singularly focused.
- 7:12Speaker 2: I hate bringing a good thing absolutely and I hate
- 7:14Speaker 2: bringing up the name, but it's not a Chuck fletchersh
- 7:17Speaker 2: type of situation. If this is Chuck Fletchers'd be running
- 7:20Speaker 2: right into a brick wall doing the same thing over
- 7:22Speaker 2: and over and over again. And if you have a
- 7:25Speaker 2: general manager, I don't care what sport it is that's
- 7:28Speaker 2: willing to change the plan because they're seeing what is
- 7:31Speaker 2: happening with the product. I think there's some level of
- 7:34Speaker 2: growth there, you know, in various degrees.
- 7:36Speaker 3: So it's still so young in his role as an NHLGH. Yes,
- 7:43Speaker 3: I think the fact that I feel like he is
- 7:45Speaker 3: learning and growing and willing to change his mind, and
- 7:50Speaker 3: I think that's a good thing.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Absolutely. Well, we've only seen one game thus far with
- 7:55Speaker 2: Andre Kuzmenko, and and he certainly has some puck skills.
- 7:59Speaker 2: I'll say that. You know, he's somebody who I really
- 8:01Speaker 2: haven't like honed in on over the years in terms
- 8:04Speaker 2: of the NHL, in terms of his skill level. From
- 8:07Speaker 2: what we saw in that one game against Penguins, he
- 8:09Speaker 2: could be a dangerous offensive weapon down the stretch. And
- 8:12Speaker 2: of course the front office brass would obviously love to
- 8:15Speaker 2: see that, as teammates would love to see that, as
- 8:17Speaker 2: fans would absolutely love to see that. Rachel, what should
- 8:20Speaker 2: we be expecting? What should we be hoping to see
- 8:23Speaker 2: from Kuzmenko as he's now playing for his third NHL
- 8:27Speaker 2: team here?
- 8:27Speaker 1: What are your thoughts?
- 8:29Speaker 3: Yeah? I think it's interesting because in his introductory media availability,
- 8:34Speaker 3: he was a little cagey about his future and potential.
- 8:39Speaker 3: You know, he doesn't necessarily play for a contract. He's
- 8:42Speaker 3: playing for now and there's the twenty some odd games.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Whatever's left, you know, in terms of what he can
- 8:48Speaker 3: do to prove himself. And I think that we don't
- 8:52Speaker 3: know what's going on in his head. Is he trying
- 8:54Speaker 3: to prove himself together another NHL contract? Who knows? Does
- 8:57Speaker 3: he want to go home to Russia? Who knows? Right,
- 9:00Speaker 3: I think it's hard to tell. I hope we get
- 9:03Speaker 3: the best of him, because he's going to want to
- 9:05Speaker 3: show out regardless of what he wants to do moving forward.
- 9:09Speaker 3: But I think that it would be good to see
- 9:12Speaker 3: where potential chemistry is and if he can help support
- 9:16Speaker 3: Mitch Cough and if the Flyers are willing to kind
- 9:19Speaker 3: of roll out the red carpet for him and maybe
- 9:21Speaker 3: offer him if he plays well and is helping Mitch.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Cough, yes, let's say.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Yeah, Like, you know, are they willing to throw him
- 9:30Speaker 3: a positive deal?
- 9:31Speaker 2: I wonder if there's going to be some sort of
- 9:32Speaker 2: connection there between the Russians, between mitchcob.
- 9:36Speaker 1: And like, I wonder if that could be. Yeah, it's
- 9:38Speaker 1: a wait and see process.
- 9:40Speaker 3: But didn't play him on the same line, and.
- 9:43Speaker 1: That is true. That is true.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, there's still time and we have John
- 9:47Speaker 2: Tortorella as the coach, so let's see what happens there.
- 9:50Speaker 2: But I wanted to move on to one of the
- 9:52Speaker 2: newest Flyers acquisitions as well, Jacob Peltier. I mean, he's
- 9:57Speaker 2: definitely a smaller type of player from what we know.
- 10:01Speaker 2: You know, it seems to be, uh, you know, maybe
- 10:03Speaker 2: needing to put on some pounds, some muscle in the future.
- 10:07Speaker 2: You know, he said if he's going to play every
- 10:09Speaker 2: shift in Philly, these are his words, that he's going
- 10:12Speaker 2: to play every shift like it's his last. What do
- 10:15Speaker 2: you want to see, hopefully from Jacob Ltier as he
- 10:18Speaker 2: becomes a restricted free agent at the end of the season.
- 10:22Speaker 2: What do you hope we can see in this last
- 10:23Speaker 2: half of the season from him?
- 10:25Speaker 3: Yeah, he also said, you know, he plays like a
- 10:27Speaker 3: dog on a bone, right, that was another thing he
- 10:30Speaker 3: said in that interview session. And yeah, I just I
- 10:34Speaker 3: want to see all that. I want to see the
- 10:36Speaker 3: potential because he's always been a very skilled player, a
- 10:41Speaker 3: little bit of a two way guy. Good vision, he's
- 10:44Speaker 3: got a good shot, he's got creativity, he's got flexibility
- 10:47Speaker 3: in terms of I think at his size he's not
- 10:49Speaker 3: really going to play center, but he can in a pinch.
- 10:53Speaker 3: And you know, we're going to talk about Scott Lawton,
- 10:56Speaker 3: but if they trade Scott Lawton, yeah, Peltia is not
- 10:59Speaker 3: a bad guy to have around exactly, you know, you know,
- 11:02Speaker 3: assuming he can live up to that potential. And again
- 11:05Speaker 3: he has these remaining games to prove it and see
- 11:07Speaker 3: if they'll qualify it.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Absolutely Again, folks, we're talking to Rachel Donner from the
- 11:12Speaker 2: Locked On Flyers podcast. I subscribe on Apple podcast and
- 11:17Speaker 2: I would highly recommend if you're into flyers talk, you
- 11:20Speaker 2: subscribe on whatever podcast platform you are listening to us on.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Search out the Locked On Flyers podcast. And you mentioned
- 11:27Speaker 2: Scott Lawton, yes, we have to get into him as well.
- 11:31Speaker 2: A lot of fans upset that Scott Lawton potentially might
- 11:34Speaker 2: be traded before the March seventh deadline where you know
- 11:38Speaker 2: here in those same here, I mean, so many of
- 11:42Speaker 2: us like him as one of those you know, quote
- 11:44Speaker 2: culture guys within the organization. What he means to the Flyers.
- 11:49Speaker 2: And i'd like to get your thoughts about this rumor
- 11:53Speaker 2: of Scott Lawton being traded and do you think the
- 11:56Speaker 2: front office I don't know. I don't know if they're
- 11:59Speaker 2: they're racing to get anything from him, racing to get
- 12:03Speaker 2: him to another team to gain more assets here, I
- 12:07Speaker 2: don't know. What are your thoughts on the on this
- 12:09Speaker 2: entire situation here with regard to this rumor.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's interesting because I feel like it's
- 12:15Speaker 3: going to be the same situation as last year with
- 12:19Speaker 3: him because Brier loves him and has said as much,
- 12:23Speaker 3: and the price is very high for him, and so
- 12:27Speaker 3: you know, and we're talking about this on our Tuesday
- 12:30Speaker 3: show of Lockdown Flyers. So we have a full like
- 12:33Speaker 3: segment on that if you want to take a listen.
- 12:35Speaker 3: And also my co host Russ Cohen has to say
- 12:38Speaker 3: about it. As well. But you look at where he
- 12:42Speaker 3: is this year versus last year, and I would say that,
- 12:45Speaker 3: you know, scoring wise, he's pretty close to where he
- 12:48Speaker 3: was last year. He's only two goals short of his
- 12:50Speaker 3: total from last season. He did have that four goal
- 12:53Speaker 3: game that kind of bumps it a little bit. Yeah, yeah,
- 12:58Speaker 3: a bit, But goals a goal, so we'll take it.
- 13:01Speaker 3: I think like his overall skills have diminished a little bit.
- 13:05Speaker 3: We see a few more mistakes out there on the ice,
- 13:09Speaker 3: and so can they ask for a first rounder for him?
- 13:13Speaker 3: They can ask, I don't think they're going to get it.
- 13:16Speaker 3: And so the combination of the price being high and
- 13:20Speaker 3: the fact that they've treated two poor identity guys away
- 13:25Speaker 3: in Frost and Farraby, who are a huge part of
- 13:27Speaker 3: that team culture, are the Flyers going to be interested
- 13:31Speaker 3: in trading another core person of the team culture? And
- 13:35Speaker 3: are they willing to let the culture change even though
- 13:38Speaker 3: even though it may change in a positive way or
- 13:40Speaker 3: it's just be different, Like do they want that change
- 13:44Speaker 3: to happen now or do they want to keep lott
- 13:46Speaker 3: and around to hold that kind of locker room sensibility together.
- 13:50Speaker 2: There is something to be said, and we've said it
- 13:52Speaker 2: so many times, and folks in general, I think know it,
- 13:55Speaker 2: Rachel is how much the culture means to a perforational
- 14:00Speaker 2: sports team. And my goodness, this Flyers organization has been
- 14:05Speaker 2: through the ringer when it comes to culture, whether it's
- 14:09Speaker 2: garbage culture, whether it's guys really rooting each other on,
- 14:14Speaker 2: whether it's it's coaches that we've seen over all these years.
- 14:18Speaker 2: I mean, Towards has been here a little while now,
- 14:20Speaker 2: but there is something to be said for culture. I'm
- 14:23Speaker 2: hoping Scott Lawton stays. I'm hoping that he is not traded.
- 14:27Speaker 2: But and because I fear that if he is traded,
- 14:30Speaker 2: that culture that is currently there and I hope is
- 14:34Speaker 2: still there even after Farrabie and for Us were traded,
- 14:37Speaker 2: I think they need to keep at least a foundational
- 14:40Speaker 2: piece of that, and I really think Scott Lawton really
- 14:43Speaker 2: exemplifies that foundational piece of the culture.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Yeah, and you know, it could be fine if they
- 14:49Speaker 3: trade him. Yeah, or it'll just be different if they
- 14:53Speaker 3: trade him, And that's okay, It's just you know, are
- 14:55Speaker 3: you willing to do that?
- 14:57Speaker 1: Absolutely?
- 14:57Speaker 2: Again, folks like Rachel said her and her co host
- 15:00Speaker 2: Ruscohen on the Locked On Flyers podcast. Where're we're uploading
- 15:04Speaker 2: this and recording this on Monday, February tenth. On Tuesday
- 15:08Speaker 2: February eleventh, they're really going to be getting into this
- 15:10Speaker 2: aspect of what the Flyers may do and what it
- 15:13Speaker 2: means for the team, So be sure to check out
- 15:15Speaker 2: that Locked on Flyers podcast episode. Wanted to move along
- 15:19Speaker 2: to Rasmus Risto lane In. He's another Flyer that is
- 15:22Speaker 2: rumored to be traded before the deadline. There's been a
- 15:25Speaker 2: lot of talk about this now for at least a
- 15:27Speaker 2: month month and a half or so, Rachel, It's been
- 15:30Speaker 2: reported that due to other trades and transactions throughout the NHL,
- 15:34Speaker 2: that the momentum in the market for Risto may actually
- 15:38Speaker 2: be shrinking here. So I'm wondering, are you seeing this?
- 15:41Speaker 2: Are you concerned about this? You know, what are your
- 15:42Speaker 2: thoughts on where Risto may go if he is traded
- 15:45Speaker 2: and in terms of this storyline, what are your thoughts?
- 15:49Speaker 3: Yeah, it is interesting now with him being injured, obviously
- 15:53Speaker 3: that's a huge wrench in it right, but overall he's
- 15:57Speaker 3: played extremely well yes this season, but it's like do
- 16:01Speaker 3: teams need him? And I think that trading him now
- 16:08Speaker 3: would be more of a commitment to taking that step
- 16:12Speaker 3: backwards a little bit, because we saw that happen last
- 16:16Speaker 3: season with Sean Walker that on an expiring contract, he
- 16:22Speaker 3: left the team. The team suffered defensively, they did not
- 16:25Speaker 3: make the playoffs, And I think last year that's fine
- 16:28Speaker 3: that that happened. I do think there was some you know,
- 16:32Speaker 3: effects in the locker room in terms of confidence and
- 16:35Speaker 3: all of that. You could talk about that, but I
- 16:38Speaker 3: do think something similar could happen with Risto. I think
- 16:41Speaker 3: it makes it a weaker Liars blue line. Now make
- 16:46Speaker 3: Andre there permanently, but he's a totally different kind of defense.
- 16:50Speaker 3: So it's just it'll make it very different, and you
- 16:55Speaker 3: have to be willing to live with that and kind
- 16:57Speaker 3: of go through what you did last year. I don't
- 17:00Speaker 3: know that anybody expects this team to make the playoffs,
- 17:02Speaker 3: whereas last year I think it was a little bit
- 17:04Speaker 3: more likely given that the players were in a playoff position,
- 17:08Speaker 3: like relatively close to the trade deadline.
- 17:11Speaker 2: They played the first half of the season last year
- 17:12Speaker 2: pretty darn well.
- 17:13Speaker 1: It was nice run.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Much different, much different this year. So it's almost like
- 17:19Speaker 3: this is a better scenario to trade Wristo if you
- 17:22Speaker 3: want to try and move up in the manufacturer way,
- 17:25Speaker 3: to move up in the draft a little bit, but
- 17:27Speaker 3: you also have to see what toll that takes on
- 17:29Speaker 3: the locker room.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Yeah, like there's something to be said for that culture.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I know.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Well, it's not necessarily the culture, it's the it's the
- 17:39Speaker 3: lack of winning, yes, and how losing is very demoralizing
- 17:42Speaker 3: and you have to take that into consideration.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Yep, absolutely, well, my friend, before I let you go, look,
- 17:50Speaker 2: there's still a lot of hockey left to be played,
- 17:52Speaker 2: even as the Flyers are really at the bottom of
- 17:54Speaker 2: the Metropolitan Division here at this point, I'm trying to
- 17:58Speaker 2: think of where I want this team to go during
- 18:01Speaker 2: this last half of the season, what I'd like to see.
- 18:03Speaker 2: There's less than a month before the trade deadline. We're
- 18:06Speaker 2: talking about all these different scenarios through our discussion here,
- 18:09Speaker 2: but I'm wondering, what is your overall hope for what
- 18:13Speaker 2: you want to see from the Flyers coming out of
- 18:15Speaker 2: the break and for the last half of this season,
- 18:18Speaker 2: because I think there is still some hope with this team,
- 18:22Speaker 2: hope for this restructured rebuild as well balancing all of
- 18:26Speaker 2: that together. I don't know what's your overall hope for
- 18:29Speaker 2: what to see during this last half of the season.
- 18:32Speaker 3: I think it's going to be extremely important what happens
- 18:35Speaker 3: in this upcoming off season as far as rosters changes,
- 18:38Speaker 3: as far as how they strategize all the picks they
- 18:41Speaker 3: have this year. And in order to do that, you
- 18:43Speaker 3: need to know what you got, and so I think
- 18:46Speaker 3: it's important. And John Trebuderilla has said very definitively that
- 18:51Speaker 3: they're going to bring guys up from Lehigh Valley like
- 18:53Speaker 3: they did with Jacob Gosche Right, Yeah, that they need
- 18:57Speaker 3: to see what they have organizationally so they can effectively
- 19:00Speaker 3: make these decisions. And that's the thing I want to
- 19:03Speaker 3: see the most is I want to see them set
- 19:05Speaker 3: themselves up to take a step forward next season. And
- 19:09Speaker 3: in order to do that, you got to have like
- 19:12Speaker 3: a real good sense of what the organizational depth is
- 19:17Speaker 3: and what the value of everything you have in the
- 19:20Speaker 3: organization is. And I think that's the most important thing
- 19:23Speaker 3: for me.
- 19:24Speaker 2: All Right, well, I am going to let you go,
- 19:26Speaker 2: my friend. It's always great talking to you. Thanks so
- 19:28Speaker 2: much for jumping on. Like we said, folks, we said
- 19:30Speaker 2: before we hit the record button, what a bizarre morning
- 19:33Speaker 2: and afternoon here after this Eagle Super Bowl win that
- 19:37Speaker 2: we're still coming down from that and getting into this
- 19:39Speaker 2: Flyers talking what's gonna be happening with this team. Rachel,
- 19:42Speaker 2: It's always great talking with you. Thanks so much for
- 19:44Speaker 2: jumping on, and I'd love to talk to you again
- 19:46Speaker 2: down in the future, my friend, anytime. That's gonna do
