Predators Bolster Defense with Ahcan and Skinner | Nashville Predators News
Predators bolster their defense with two fresh signings: Jack Ahcan, a 23-year-old AHL standout with 50 points in 61 games and NHL experience in 11 games, gets a two-year, $1.75M deal — a $100K raise — while Hunter Skinner, a 25-year-old 6’3” defenseman with 19 AHL points and just one NHL game, signs a one-year, $850K contract. These moves, alongside Alex Kerfoot’s big center deal, signal GM’s aggressive push to deepen Nashville’s blue line and see if AHL talent can translate to NHL success.
