- 5:03In top news, aging doesn't have to mean a steep decline in physical and mental health,
- 5:10according to longevity-focused physician Dr. Peter Attia.
- 5:15In his book Outlive, The Science and Art of Longevity, the author explores how proactive
- 5:21measures can significantly enhance life quality in later years.
- 5:27He emphasizes training over mere exercise, advocating for a deliberate approach to maintaining
- 5:33fitness across decades.
- 5:36This concept is encapsulated in the centenarian decathlon, where individuals tailor their
- 5:41fitness goals to life's practical challenges.
- 5:45Attia's Performance Center, 10 Squared, aims to equip people for these challenges through
- 5:51focused training in strength, stability, and cardio.
- 5:56However, Attia also highlights the importance of emotional health.
- 6:02Underscoring that happiness and relationships are crucial at any age.

- 7:02The merger promises a richer calendar of events and significantly increased payouts for players
- 7:08— nearly 250% higher than last year.
- 7:13However, amidst this advancement, players express concerns over unpaid earnings from

- 8:36Let's talk tech.
- 8:38Researchers at Armit University in Australia have developed a groundbreaking 3D-printed
- 8:43titanium they call metamaterial that could revolutionize the engineering field.
- 8:51Inspired by the natural structures of plants and coral, this metamaterial addresses the
- 8:56long-standing challenge of metal alloys cracking under pressure.
- 9:01The team's innovative design features lattice-like structures with hollow struts enhanced by
- 9:07a thin band to evenly distribute stress, avoiding weak points.
- 9:13Utilizing advanced powder bed fusion technology, they created a material that outperforms traditional
- 9:20alloys in strength and temperature resistance.
- 9:25This new material not only withstands more weight, but also high temperatures, making
- 9:30it ideal for aerospace engineering and potentially firefighting drones.
- 9:36Its hollow structure is also seen as beneficial for human bone implants, promoting cell regrowth
- 9:42and integration with the body.
- 9:44Although not yet widely accessible, technological advancements may soon allow broader application
- 9:51of this transformative metamaterial.
- 9:57And in entertainment news, Mourner Brothers executives Michael DeLuca and Pam Addy are
- 10:04making bold moves, courting big names like Tom Cruise and Leonardo DiCaprio, and eyeing
- 10:10Quentin Tarantino's next project.
- 10:14In a strategic partnership with Tom Cruise, they discussed potential projects, including
- 10:19a sequel to Edge of Tomorrow and Tarantino's The Movie Critic.
- 10:25Their aggressive strategy includes attracting A-list directors and stars, underlined by
- 10:30a non-exclusive deal with Cruise and a lucrative contract for DiCaprio's next film.
- 10:38Mourner Brothers is also granting unusual concessions, like copyright returns to directors,
- 10:43signaling a willingness to spend, to secure top talent.
- 10:48This approach is part of a broader strategy, potentially aimed at enhancing Mourner Brothers
- 10:53of value ahead of possible corporate sales or mergers.
- 10:58Well, alrighty folks, it's time for the quote of the day.
- 11:04And today, our quote comes from the always motivating Chuck Norris.
- 11:10And Mr. Norris said, a lot of people give up just before they're about to make it.
- 11:16But you never know when that next obstacle is going to be the last one.
- 11:22Don't give up.
- 11:23We're almost there.
- 11:24And that's a wrap for this morning.
