  Now, yesterday was a special day, guys, because we celebrated

  because the Mets had a lead. They blew it.

  And then bottom of the ninth Tide game, I'm saying, hey, here

  against Francisco Alvarez, the Mets catcher.

  And it was funny because the I think it was darling and was a

  Keith Hernandez. Whoever was on the call for the

  Mets game. They one guy said to the other

  guy and he said, hey, three and O, are you going to give him the

  green light? And they both go, Nope, Nope.

  Let him, you know, let him walk, get on base, hopefully score a

  run. Wouldn't you know what next

  pitch, boom, three and O swinging home run to end the

  game. The Mets walk it off.

  You love to see it. Chef's kiss and again walk offs

  are so are so sweet to me because sometimes you get walked

  off, sometimes you're on the other side of it where you have

  a lead and it's blown and you lose at the end.

  So when you've known one side, the agony of the walk off, then

  Let's breakdown some sharp data-driven contrarian plays in

  the MLB diamond here. So first one on the board, let's

  go to a 6:45 PM Eastern Time. First pitch Colorado Rockies
• 3:57
  going to the nation's capital to face the Washington Nationals.

  Now going to this one. The Rockies are 46 and 79, one
• 4:04
  of the worst teams in baseball. But they did just take two or
• 4:06
  three at home against the Padres.
• 4:08
  They won Sunday series finale three to two as a + 165 home
• 4:12
  dog. Meanwhile, the Nationals, 56 and
• 4:15
  69. Just dropped three of four
• 4:17
  against the Phillies, but did avoid the sweep.

  Got a big win 6:00 to 4:00 on Sunday as a + 135 road dog.

  So pitching match up here for tonight.

  We had a couple southpaws on the bump.

  Lefty Austin Gomber is going for the Rockies.

  He'll be opposed by the Nationals lefty DJ Hers, who's

  board here? Well, this game opened with

  Washington listed around a -, 140 home favorite with the

  Colorado Rockies around a + 125 road dog and both teams have

  losing records again. Nationals slightly better, but

  doesn't that Washington line feel a little high laying -140
• 4:55
  Well, you would think, hey, maybe the, the, you know, the
• 4:58
  public or the wise guys would say take the plus money with
• 5:00
  Colorado. No, no, no, no, they're going
• 5:02
  the other way. Good sharp steam in favor of the
• 5:05
  Nationals. Nationals open around -140 now

  they're up to -155 -, 160. So again, seems like it's more

  of a coin flip game between two bad teams.

  But this tells me that this line has gotten jacked up for a

  reason. And the reason being, a lot of

  wise guys like the Nationals today.

  So that's who I like. I'm going Nationals guys.

  Nationals are getting 76% of money line bets, but 94% of
• 5:29
  money line dollars. That is a very notable low bets,

  higher dollars bets with basically three out of four
• 5:34
  bets, but more than nine out of $10 tells me even though it's,
• 5:37
  you know, kind of public there with the 74% or 76%, it's not
• 5:42
  just public, it's wise guy money hitting Washington, causing that
• 5:45
  big line move in their favor. Now, if you look at the
• 5:47
  nationals checking off a couple boxes here, one would be a non
• 5:51
  division favorite. So nationals from the NL E
• 5:54
  Colorado from the NL W lack of familiarity benefiting, quote UN
• 5:57
  quote the better team who's expected to win, which would be
• 6:00
  Washington here based on the favorite designation.

  Nationals also have correlative betting value.

  Favorite low total total in this game is 8 and it's juiced up
• 6:08
  under at some shops 8 -, 115. I believe some shops even open
• 6:12
  at 8 1/2. So again, I love the fact that

  this total is dropping and juiced under and the lines
• 6:17
  moving toward the favorite. That's always a good correlative
• 6:19
  sign. If you have the line moving
• 6:21
  toward the dog and the total going up, that's a good sign for
• 6:23
  the dog. But that's not the case here.

  Totals dropping, juiced under, lines moving toward Washington.

  Good angle there for hopefully a Washington win.

  Now Colorado, I want to bet against them because they are

  bad on the road. Boy are they bad.

  They're 17 and 46 on the road. Second worst Rd. record in

  baseball. Only the White Sox are worse,
• 6:42
  and digging into these two pitchers here, Gomber has a 5
• 6:45
  point O, 6 ERA and three August starts.

  He's gotten lit up here, giving up nine runs and 16 innings.

  Pitch and believe it or not, he's been worse on the road.

  You would think he'd be worse at Coors because of the rarefied

  air and the altitude. But at home, he's got a 4.42

  ERA. Not bad on the road, 5.16.

  Meanwhile, DJ Hers, he's been really good.

  In his three August starts, he's has a 2.63 ERA.

  So what have you seen across the market?

  Well, Philly open as a very short -125 road favorite,

  Atlanta around a + 110 home dog and you'd say, hey, divisional

  matchup, Braves getting plus money at home.

  Is that appetizing to the wise guys?

  No, the wise guys like Phillies here.

  Phillies open -125 now they've been bet up to -140 -, 145 some

  books even closer to -150 so consistent movement.

  As soon as this line dropped all toward Philadelphia, good sharp

  steam in their direction tells me wise guys are on the Phills.

  Phillies getting 78% of money line bets but 88% of money line

  dollars and other good low bets. Higher dollars bet split.

  Phillies also have some good correlative betting value

  totaling this one is 8. Some shops think to come up

  seven and half up to 8, but either way eight would be

  technically a low total with a favorite with Philly, but also a

  lot of system matches on the Phillies tonight.

  So the Phillies would be a road favorite off a loss playing an

  opponent off a win. That's 147 and 100 this year,

  60% with a 4% ROI. Rd. favorites getting $0.10 of

  When both teams are coming off a day off, which is the case here,

  So what do we see across the market here?

  Well, it looks like pros are banking on Tampa to bounce back

  with a win. So I'm going rays guys this game

  open with Tampa listed as low as a -, 110 -, 115 very short Rd.

  favorite. Now Tampa's up to -120 some

  shops even inching closer to -125 S consistent movement

  toward Tampa Bay. It's also notable to me, you

  know, when you're a very, very short, you know, Rd. favorite or

  a very short home dog, you know, where's the, where's the line
• 12:12
  move go? Is it like, hey, let's take the

  plus money with the team at home or it wise guys go the other way
• 12:17
  and say, hey, that's a short favorite price.

  Maybe it's a good time to pounce on them because maybe the line

  should be a little bit higher. Well, sounds like the latter is

  the case here as this line's going to Tampa Bay.

  Tampa Bay is only getting 60% of money line bets, but nearly 70%

  of money line dollars. So a very slight public support

  Now over to the WNBA because there is one game in particular

  that caught my eye. Not crazy market driven play,
• 13:53
  but a great rhythm AI predicted model edge here.

  So game I'm looking at is the Seattle Storm against the

  Washington Mystics that it is a 7:00 PM Eastern Time tip here
• 14:05
  tonight. And really, you know, tale of
• 14:07
  two teams here. Seattle's been really good.

  They're 17 and 10. Washington terrible 6 and 21.

  Now Seattle is favored by 7 on the road.

  We haven't seen that line move pretty much either way, but I'm
• 14:18
  focusing on the total here now the total hasn't moved a ton
• 14:21
  across the market. You know, open around one 61162,

  it's still around 161. Some shops are 161 1/2.

  So it's not like a massive, you know, you know, 3 point steam to

  the over. So really nothing jumped out to
• 14:37
  me at first glance, but then I popped open my rhythm app and a
• 14:40
  couple things really jumped out to me.

  So the first one is that we have some great models predicting a
• 14:46
  good edge to the over. So I'm going to go over 161 in
• 14:50
  this game guys, let's try to get 162 or more.

  First thing I noticed the Rhythm AI model.

  So if you don't know, guess what, now you know the Rhythm
• 14:59
  does a great job with their AI backed models and predictions
• 15:02
  and their advanced formulas and algorithms are predicting a
• 15:05
  final total here of 166.2. So if we're going over 161 and
• 15:12
  Rhythm is predicting 166.2, that's a nice little five point
• 15:16
  edge there predicting a higher total game.

  Now my model, my Josh AI model is predicting 165.9.

  So again, beauty rhythm is you can either just follow the

  models that the AI statisticians give you or you can create your

  own based on a number of different variables and

  criteria. What's important to you.

  Like for me, when I'm betting totals, my Josh AI model is more

  based on pace and three-point shooting, as well as I think

  free throw shooting as well. But 165.9 is my model, 166.2 is

  the Rhythm model, and then the community feature, which is

  another new feature that Rhythm has been hard at work over the
• 15:57
  summer on, which basically, and you've heard me talk about it
• 15:59
  before, but if you haven't, it's really cool.

  Basically, it accumulates in polls.

  Everyone who has a model on this game, everyone at Rhythm who has

  a Rhythm account has created a total model.

  If it matches on this game, which direction is it leaning?

  Well, currently 70.5% of all models that are on this total

  from people who have a rhythm account are going over.

  So you have a rhythm model, you have a Josh model, you have a

  community model, all basically pointing toward the over.

  Then I was looking at some just variables here.

  Just a couple things to be aware of #1 home dog Mystics are a

  home dog. They're getting +7 at home
• 16:35
  typically. That's a good sign.

  You know, usually if you're a road dog, you know, you kind of
• 16:39
  pack it in. You know, big, big team at home
• 16:41
  is up big, takes their foot off the gas and can lead to lower
• 16:44
  scoring second halfs. Usually when your home dog,
• 16:47
  that's better for an over because theoretically you're
• 16:49
  going to fight to the end and try to put up points if you're
• 16:51
  losing to make the score look a little better.
• 16:54
  Also, these teams have played two games this year.
• 16:56
  You had a 159 total and a 170 total.

  So hopefully, you know, we're kind of right in the middle
• 17:02
  here. Maybe, you know, pointing a
• 17:04
  little bit toward the over. Both teams are rested.

  Seattle last played on the 18th. Washington last played on the
• 17:10
  17th. So hopefully you got your legs.

  They also have a couple games here under their belt since the

  return of the Olympics. Storm are #2 in terms of pace,

  they're the second fastest team in the WNBA.

  Again, pace is a good thing. You know, college hoops is right

  around the corner. Gonzaga, lot of lot of high

  scoring games. You'll get Virginia, slow pace,
• 17:28
  lot of lower scoring games. But storm #2 in terms of pace,

  Washington is number six in terms of pace.

  So both top six. Storm are #3 in points per game,

  84. And you also look at the

  Mystics, they're giving up, I think 8384 a game.

  Also, the Storm are #2 in free throw percentage.

  So make your free throws. You got to make those if you're

  going to hit an over. And Washington, even though
• 17:50
  they've been really bad this year, they're hitting 9.63

  pointers per game. That's the third most in the
• 17:55
  WNBA. Again, knocked down your threes

  to help you catch, hopefully cashing over.

  And Washington is 8:00 and 5:00 to the over at home this year.

  So again, first glance at the market, I maybe didn't mention

  this bet splits are pretty much 5050 line didn't move a ton.

  5050 splits. You may pass over this game and

  say, hey, really not nothing notable here, but rhythm models

  are all screaming over a couple stat categories here are
• 18:18
  hopefully pointing toward the over and Washington again has
• 18:21
  gone over this number 8 and 8:00 and 5:00 to the over at home.

  So you add it all up. I'm sweating the over tonight

  guys, give me storm and Mystics over 161.

  Shop around because there are some 161 and a halfs out there.

  You don't want to have it land on 161 and you know, losing over

  161 1/2. Hopefully it flies over and

  doesn't matter. But of course, as always, when

  your sports better program your brain to always try to get the

  best number. So for me here, if you want to
