- 0:04Speaker 1: All right, all right, yo, yo yo, coming to Live
- 0:08Speaker 1: from Philly. It's the Folly and Tony Fosco Showy Foolsco.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Here with Tony Foolsco and Tony. We made headlines as
- 0:20Speaker 1: usual this week because we were the ones who exposed
- 0:23Speaker 1: the media cover up behind Tom Brady's seventh Super Bowl win.
- 0:27Speaker 1: And you know, people, if you want to hear it,
- 0:29Speaker 1: go back and listen, because you know, when we win
- 0:32Speaker 1: the Nobel Prize for Investigative Journalism, you're gonna want to
- 0:35Speaker 1: hear it anyway. Anyway, trust me on that. And you
- 0:37Speaker 1: can also hear us all out destroy our last guest,
- 0:41Speaker 1: Ryan Field, who should be in the unemployment field. Yeah,
- 0:45Speaker 1: worst Ryan ever after Ryan Gosling and every other Ryan ever.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Well said Tony. Anyway, we got big stuff to get
- 0:55Speaker 1: to this week. The city of Philadelphia under attack by
- 1:00Speaker 1: a certain sports radio host, Colin Cowherd, and you know
- 1:04Speaker 1: we're gonna bring on a guest to discuss this disgrace
- 1:07Speaker 1: to our city. His co host on the show Joey Taylor, who,
- 1:11Speaker 1: in addition to being you know, a no name in
- 1:13Speaker 1: the sports media biziness, is also the sister of NFL
- 1:17Speaker 1: Hall of Famer Jason Taylor. As we all know, Hailes
- 1:22Speaker 1: from the Great State Story closely followed his high school
- 1:28Speaker 1: football career, didn't you, Tony. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised
- 1:32Speaker 1: if I knew more about Jason Taylor than his own sister. Yep,
- 1:37Speaker 1: And we're gonna put that to the test today. But first,
- 1:39Speaker 1: back to the main subject of our show, Count Thurn.
- 1:43Speaker 1: We happen to know two guys who used to work
- 1:45Speaker 1: at his show, and they shall remain nameless, but let's
- 1:49Speaker 1: just say that trusted sources. And you know what we
- 1:53Speaker 1: heard is, you know, people think that a cout dirty
- 1:55Speaker 1: comes up with all that stuff off the top of
- 1:57Speaker 1: his head. No, no, from what we heard, Get this, people,
- 2:01Speaker 1: he gets in at six am every morning and sits
- 2:04Speaker 1: there and preps for two hours, sometimes two and a
- 2:07Speaker 1: half hours. I mean, if you have to spend that
- 2:10Speaker 1: much time thinking about what you have to say, you're
- 2:13Speaker 1: in the wrong business. Yeah. If he wants to do
- 2:15Speaker 1: two hours of prep, he should be a baker or something.
- 2:19Speaker 1: We come into our studio, no prep, sit down into
- 2:23Speaker 1: the microphone and give it to you straight off the cup, right, Paulie.
- 2:28Speaker 1: You know in two hours we could record ten eleven shows. Easy, right.
- 2:32Speaker 1: You know what a waste of time with that coward there.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I mean, his producers must be sitting there thinking he'll
- 2:37Speaker 1: hurry up already. Come on, we gotta show to do.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Anyone on the subject of hurry up already. Let's just
- 2:43Speaker 1: get right in to our first segment, our top story.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Sure alright, the big story of the week, obviously Eagles quarterback.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Former Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz traded to the Indianapolis Colts
- 2:56Speaker 1: for two toothpicks and you know, some loose change that
- 2:59Speaker 1: somebody fund in a couch. Anyway, even before this whole
- 3:03Speaker 1: trade went down and was made official, Colin Coward was
- 3:06Speaker 1: just bagging on the city being so disrespectful to the
- 3:09Speaker 1: city of Philadelphia, and I think he took it too far,
- 3:12Speaker 1: didn't eat Tony too far. Then he said that he
- 3:16Speaker 1: belonged in the NFL clown Club because of how they
- 3:20Speaker 1: handled Cosson Wentz. Uh here, just listen to what this
- 3:23Speaker 1: jerk had to say on his show. The Philadelphia Eagles
- 3:27Speaker 1: are officially congratulations in the NFL clown Club with Washington,
- 3:31Speaker 1: the Jets, the Lions, the Jags, the Bengals, the Browns,
- 3:36Speaker 1: and the Houston Texans. What Mr Coltart here is forgetting
- 3:40Speaker 1: is that we got rid of Cosson Wentz before. You know,
- 3:43Speaker 1: during the season the Eagles offensive line. They allowed him
- 3:48Speaker 1: to get injured so we could get rid of him
- 3:51Speaker 1: and go to Nick Foles, which improved the team greatly.
- 3:55Speaker 1: And that, you know, is the sign of a healthy
- 3:57Speaker 1: functioning organization. Know when it's time to get rid of
- 4:02Speaker 1: the most important person. And you know so, so Mr
- 4:05Speaker 1: Coltered can understand this, We're going to speak in a
- 4:08Speaker 1: language that he can understand, right, don'ty Yeah. Coltered loves
- 4:12Speaker 1: to use analogies, so we came up with a little
- 4:16Speaker 1: segment called an analogy. Okay, first analogy that shows that
- 4:25Speaker 1: it's good to get rid of the most important person
- 4:28Speaker 1: comes to us from the world of government, isn't that right, don'ty? Yeah?
- 4:33Speaker 1: Look at presidential elections. We get rid of presidents every
- 4:37Speaker 1: four years. Corson Wentz played five years. He had stayed
- 4:43Speaker 1: one year too long, and that was the problem, exactmund
- 4:50Speaker 1: And you know another example from the world of music.
- 4:53Speaker 1: You know, remember that the band Journey. Yeah, you know,
- 4:55Speaker 1: people got sick, they got sick of hearing Tyler Perry.
- 4:59Speaker 1: They said, we need something fresh, so they went out
- 5:02Speaker 1: and found exactly who you would expect, a young Filipino
- 5:06Speaker 1: from YouTube. Terrific move. And now whenever I hear that
- 5:11Speaker 1: song Someday Love Will Find You, I think of the
- 5:14Speaker 1: great arnel Pinado. What a voice and what a legacy,
- 5:20Speaker 1: so true. And one final analogy here from the business world.
- 5:26Speaker 1: You know Apple, right, we all know Apple. Well, you
- 5:30Speaker 1: know when Steve Jobs died, you know, may God rest
- 5:33Speaker 1: his soul. I mean, I hate to say this, Tony,
- 5:36Speaker 1: but the company got so much better after he was gone.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I mean, all you have to do is look at
- 5:42Speaker 1: my new iPhone four team so much better than the
- 5:46Speaker 1: iPhone one, iPhone two, and you know, I think Jobs
- 5:49Speaker 1: died around what was it, you know, iPhone five? And unfortunately,
- 5:53Speaker 1: you know that just doesn't hold up anymore, does it, Tony.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Back then on those old phones you had to use
- 5:59Speaker 1: a hold to unlock it, and now on the new ones,
- 6:03Speaker 1: the phone just looks at your face and says, hey,
- 6:06Speaker 1: I know you'll you're in Jobs didn't think of that
- 6:11Speaker 1: huge whiff by Mr Jobs there, So there you go.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Cow Third, we just did your brand of sports talk
- 6:19Speaker 1: better better than you and frankly, I can't wait to
- 6:23Speaker 1: find out what our guests thinks of our segment there.
- 6:27Speaker 1: So here, she's coming on the line right now, So
- 6:30Speaker 1: let's bring her on the full SCOO satellite network. Alright,
- 6:37Speaker 1: I guess you know. She's a big name in the
- 6:39Speaker 1: world of sports media. Co host of The Herd with
- 6:41Speaker 1: Colin Coward, also hosts her own podcast Maybe I'm Crazy,
- 6:46Speaker 1: and you know you also hear a lot on Fox
- 6:48Speaker 1: Sports Radio. I gotta say, impressive resume there, Yeah, very good.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Welcome to the show. Joey Taylor. Hey guys, thank you
- 6:56Speaker 1: for having me. Well, you know, we had to have
- 6:59Speaker 1: you on today because, as you probably heard, at the
- 7:01Speaker 1: beginning of the show, we played the clip, the terrible
- 7:04Speaker 1: clip of your co host their Cowhood calling the Eagles
- 7:07Speaker 1: a clown organization. Now, what we want to know is
- 7:11Speaker 1: you were sitting right there. Why didn't you cut him
- 7:14Speaker 1: off and tell them he sounds like a fool? Well,
- 7:17Speaker 1: I mean, I agree with him. It's it's pretty obvious
- 7:19Speaker 1: that the Eagles are pretty dysfunctional. At this point. You
- 7:23Speaker 1: have to be a little delirious. Not is delirious You're
- 7:27Speaker 1: coming on this show and saying that you're delirious. Yeah, look,
- 7:31Speaker 1: the Eagles got rid of the problem Corson Wentz and
- 7:35Speaker 1: Doug Peterson. Don't you think that? Don't you think that
- 7:38Speaker 1: means that they're actually a functioning organization. Well, Doug Peterson
- 7:44Speaker 1: won a Super Bowl just a few years ago. You
- 7:47Speaker 1: guys shouldn't remember because it's the only super Bowl you've
- 7:49Speaker 1: ever won in your organization's history. And now Howie Roseman
- 7:56Speaker 1: is talking about, uh drafting another quarter of act with
- 8:00Speaker 1: the sixth overall pick. And I don't know if you
- 8:02Speaker 1: saw your new head coaches opening press conference. Brilliant what
- 8:10Speaker 1: are you talking about? I thought he was brilliant, well spoken,
- 8:14Speaker 1: and why you know, I like what he said about
- 8:18Speaker 1: less thinking. That's the way you become smart. He said,
- 8:21Speaker 1: we have to do more meat and compete. I mean,
- 8:24Speaker 1: that's the basis of football. Seems like it went over
- 8:28Speaker 1: your head. What's your problem with it? I mean, I
- 8:31Speaker 1: think it just it was really not a good look
- 8:33Speaker 1: for an opening press conference from somebody who not only
- 8:36Speaker 1: is gonna have to speak to the media several times
- 8:39Speaker 1: a week, but also has to command a locker room
- 8:42Speaker 1: of men. And Uh, I just I really was underwhelmed
- 8:46Speaker 1: to say the least with that press conference. But I
- 8:48Speaker 1: don't I don't know what you guys are talking about.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not I'm not bashing the Eagles. I
- 8:53Speaker 1: think you guys were on a nice run. But I
- 8:54Speaker 1: think you know it just it all fell apart. Yeah,
- 8:57Speaker 1: this interview has fallen apart already. Let's let's let says
- 9:00Speaker 1: disclose what's going on you because we got a former
- 9:03Speaker 1: audience and full disclosure. You're from Pittsburgh, right, You're a
- 9:07Speaker 1: Steelers fans, so you know that's why you hate the Eagles.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Come on, just admit it. Well, I mean, there's not
- 9:12Speaker 1: much to hate. We have six Lombardis and you know,
- 9:16Speaker 1: you guys just learned how to win super Bowls, so
- 9:20Speaker 1: you know there's nothing. Hold on just a moment before
- 9:24Speaker 1: you get carried away that we want a super Bowl
- 9:26Speaker 1: in teen? What year was it when you last won
- 9:30Speaker 1: a Super Bowl? I can't even remember. Yeah, my memory
- 9:32Speaker 1: doesn't even go that far back. Look, we we we've
- 9:37Speaker 1: got six, all right, We're tied the New England Patriots
- 9:42Speaker 1: we are, which which you know everyone always wants talk
- 9:44Speaker 1: about the New England Patriots. Like the Steelers didn't have
- 9:47Speaker 1: the most Sombarties for the longest time. But yeah, I mean, look,
- 9:50Speaker 1: we do things differently in Pittsburgh. Yeah, yeah, you hold see,
- 9:54Speaker 1: at least we had the wisdom to get rid of costs.
- 9:57Speaker 1: And when's the problem? You keep holding on the Ben
- 9:59Speaker 1: row Offlusburger. Don't you think it's time? He thinks, you know,
- 10:02Speaker 1: he needs to go. He's like an infection in the
- 10:05Speaker 1: human body and you need to you know, getting the
- 10:07Speaker 1: medicine and get rid of and flush him out. I
- 10:09Speaker 1: don't know if I can describe Ben Roethlisberger as an infection.
- 10:12Speaker 1: That seems a little dramatic, but he's Yeah, I think
- 10:16Speaker 1: it's time to hang him up. You know, he's not
- 10:17Speaker 1: really a he's not really a workout guy. He's not
- 10:20Speaker 1: really He's kind of the opposite of Tom Brady in
- 10:23Speaker 1: in that sense. He's definitely eating the regular ice cream
- 10:26Speaker 1: when Tom Brady is having the avocado ice cream. So
- 10:30Speaker 1: I do think it's time for Ben Ben hanging up,
- 10:32Speaker 1: but we'll probably run it back with him one more year.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Well that's see, that's why you're not a functioning organization. Yeah,
- 10:39Speaker 1: that's why the Steelers should be in the clown call,
- 10:42Speaker 1: not the Eagles. Because the Eagles are very functional. I
- 10:46Speaker 1: don't listen. I'm sure you guys have great sources within
- 10:49Speaker 1: the Eagles organization. We all have our sources. We all
- 10:53Speaker 1: have our sources. I haven't heard great things about how
- 10:56Speaker 1: things are being run over there. Seems like there's a
- 10:58Speaker 1: lot of there's a lot of you know, chefs in
- 11:00Speaker 1: the kitchen. And I honestly think that the Eagles are
- 11:04Speaker 1: going to be the worst in the NFC East next year.
- 11:10Speaker 1: You know, you call yourself joy. I don't hear joy
- 11:13Speaker 1: losing your joy. You gotta be more optimistic. What did
- 11:19Speaker 1: you guys watch um the NFL last year? That's what
- 11:24Speaker 1: we do every game? Okay, So what I mean, I'm
- 11:31Speaker 1: a realist. Okay, So I would love to be more
- 11:35Speaker 1: optimists about the Eagles. I actually like I like the Eagles.
- 11:37Speaker 1: I thought that two seventeen championship was really fun. You know,
- 11:41Speaker 1: it was a lot of meek Mill dreams and nightmares.
- 11:44Speaker 1: It was. It was a good time. You know, you
- 11:46Speaker 1: took down the mighty Patriots. I enjoyed it. But I
- 11:49Speaker 1: think that you guys have really like fallen apart. It's
- 11:53Speaker 1: been a very it's been a very dramatic fall from Grace.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Since then, I'd say the same about out to hurt.
- 12:00Speaker 1: You know, around I noticed the show just started to
- 12:04Speaker 1: go downhill from They're not sure what was going on
- 12:06Speaker 1: behind the scenes. Maybe you had some people leave, who knows,
- 12:09Speaker 1: but I noticed that. Anyway, this is a randopt so
- 12:12Speaker 1: source is close to us, and there were a couple
- 12:14Speaker 1: of key departures. You know. That's that's what we heard.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Let's just segue out of it to another subject. Your brother,
- 12:22Speaker 1: Dolphins legend and of course Pennsylvania high school football legend,
- 12:27Speaker 1: Jason Taylor. Yeah, we've heard you talk about him before,
- 12:31Speaker 1: and it sounds like you have some very deep affection
- 12:35Speaker 1: for him, don't you. Yes, I love my brother. Okay, well, great,
- 12:39Speaker 1: because we're gonna put that to the test on today's
- 12:42Speaker 1: show because you know, Tony happens to be a very
- 12:45Speaker 1: big fan of your brother, So we're gonna see a
- 12:48Speaker 1: huge the real fan you are, Tony. It's time for
- 12:52Speaker 1: the new game. Who's the bigger Jason Taylor fan? Yeah,
- 12:58Speaker 1: let's go take a new down. Joy all right, I'm
- 13:02Speaker 1: gonna ask you questions about the legendary career of Mr
- 13:06Speaker 1: Jason Taylor. I'm gonna give a question to Tony. Then
- 13:10Speaker 1: a question that you Joy, and the first one to
- 13:12Speaker 1: get three right wins the game and gets the title
- 13:16Speaker 1: of being the number one Jason Taylor fan. Alright, let's play.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Let's do it now here we go. Now all these
- 13:24Speaker 1: questions are randomly selected. Okay, So first question to you, Tony.
- 13:30Speaker 1: We all know Jason Taylor played for the Dolphins, but
- 13:34Speaker 1: many people forget he played for other teams. Name one
- 13:37Speaker 1: of them. I'll better, Joy better, you know Washington, And
- 13:48Speaker 1: I thought it was it was like popcorn. Okay, So
- 13:51Speaker 1: all right, I know that's we got time, but I
- 13:54Speaker 1: guessed it right. Anyway, I get those points, alright, Please
- 14:00Speaker 1: please write your turn. You know you interrupt us. Do
- 14:03Speaker 1: that on the herd next time, and interrupt Colin. Okay,
- 14:05Speaker 1: now this one's for you, okay. First of all, one
- 14:09Speaker 1: point for Tony, one point for Tony here, all right,
- 14:12Speaker 1: all right, Joy. In the two thousand six season, Jason
- 14:15Speaker 1: Taylor one NFL Defensive Player of the Year. How many
- 14:19Speaker 1: combo tackles did he record in that season? Oh? Come on, um,
- 14:24Speaker 1: what you're his sister, You should not question combo tackles.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Uh huh, Well, you know you're you're clearly, very gung
- 14:41Speaker 1: ho on your optimistic All of a sudden, Tony, just
- 14:44Speaker 1: out of curiosity, this won't count toward your point total.
- 14:47Speaker 1: But you know the answer here, of course I know
- 14:50Speaker 1: the answer. It's sixty two. It is correct, sixty two
- 14:54Speaker 1: combo tackles. Well done, Joy. I appreciate you being so
- 14:58Speaker 1: gung ho for your brother there, but you want fortunate
- 15:02Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well that that leads me to my next question.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Good segue there, All right, Tony, this is for you
- 15:08Speaker 1: and not Joyce. So Joy hold on right. In the
- 15:11Speaker 1: year seventeen, as Joy just mentioned, Jason Taylor was inducted
- 15:15Speaker 1: into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Tony in what
- 15:19Speaker 1: city is the Pro Football Hall of Fame? Joy? Again,
- 15:24Speaker 1: please no interruptions. Not a lot of people know this,
- 15:29Speaker 1: but the answer is can't the OHI you go? Two
- 15:34Speaker 1: points for Tony. Well done, very good. Okay, Joy, don't worry.
- 15:38Speaker 1: You got a fair chance here you go back to you.
- 15:41Speaker 1: We all remember Week six of the two thousand three
- 15:44Speaker 1: NFL season, a clash between the Dolphins and Patriots. How
- 15:49Speaker 1: many assisted tackles did Jason Taylor record in that game? Oh?
- 15:57Speaker 1: I'm sorry, yuh you really even not even close, Tony,
- 16:01Speaker 1: you wanted just take a stab out of this one.
- 16:02Speaker 1: It won't count. Tell you the point total, I'll never forget.
- 16:07Speaker 1: The answer is zero. Was a terrible game they lost.
- 16:13Speaker 1: I was so heartbroken for one of my favorite players,
- 16:17Speaker 1: Jason Tail. That was a rough one we all remember.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Of course, Joy is the only one who doesn't. But
- 16:23Speaker 1: don't worry. Joy. We'll give you a chance to get
- 16:26Speaker 1: back in this game. Right now. I'm gonna give you
- 16:28Speaker 1: a two point question. Okay, all right, but if you
- 16:31Speaker 1: miss it, the game goes to Tony, all right. In
- 16:34Speaker 1: his very first game, Jason Taylor recorded a sack on
- 16:39Speaker 1: Colts quarterback Jim Harbaugh. Not tell me what was the
- 16:44Speaker 1: game time temperature that day? And also what was the
- 16:47Speaker 1: wind speed? The game time temperature was. Uh, it was
- 17:01Speaker 1: a home game in Miami. I will tell you that,
- 17:04Speaker 1: so you know, think September, Miami. The game time temperature
- 17:08Speaker 1: was a seven and the wind speed was five. Un
- 17:18Speaker 1: noble effort, Tony, you know, just out of curiosity again,
- 17:22Speaker 1: you know this one? Of course? How can I forget?
- 17:26Speaker 1: It was a bomby eighty one degrees and a brisk
- 17:30Speaker 1: seven mile power wind right on the nose which means Tony,
- 17:37Speaker 1: you win the game, and that is that you are
- 17:41Speaker 1: the bigger Jason Taylor number one Taylor and Joy. You
- 17:47Speaker 1: know you lost the game, and because you lost, you
- 17:50Speaker 1: know what we need you to do right now is
- 17:53Speaker 1: we need you to tell Tony that you know he's
- 17:55Speaker 1: a bigger Jason Taylor fan than you are, and you
- 17:58Speaker 1: know why you're at it. I think you should just
- 18:00Speaker 1: go ahead and publicly apologize to your brother, So please,
- 18:04Speaker 1: the floor is yours. I'm not I'm not going to
- 18:07Speaker 1: apologize for my brother. Un Tony. Uh, it seems like
- 18:13Speaker 1: you probably had the Google machine up during during the cheating, cheating,
- 18:21Speaker 1: being a terrible guest because less joy you're at You're
- 18:27Speaker 1: for shore. Get tailor made for this show. Your tailor
- 18:32Speaker 1: made for an exit goodbye, like the Eagles are gonna
- 18:39Speaker 1: be the worst Division's phone kay, learn how to hang
- 18:46Speaker 1: up the phone. And you know, I gotta say I
- 18:48Speaker 1: feel sorry for Caulter that he's got to listen to
- 18:50Speaker 1: you know that all day. Joy to the world more
- 18:54Speaker 1: like suffering to the world. You're well said, Tony, But
- 18:57Speaker 1: you know, let's not let it get to us because
- 18:59Speaker 1: you know we always have a sponsor at this point
- 19:02Speaker 1: of the show, And we got a big one today.
- 19:05Speaker 1: A company that's huge in the area of travel, and
- 19:08Speaker 1: not only that has been making headlines all week. It's
- 19:12Speaker 1: a company that we all know, United Airlines. Do you
- 19:17Speaker 1: want to fly an airline that gives you comfort, service
- 19:20Speaker 1: and the chance of survival, then you should fly United.
- 19:25Speaker 1: When you're on United, what's great is the action on
- 19:28Speaker 1: your movie screen is nothing compared to the action going
- 19:32Speaker 1: on outside your window. And Tony, you recently had a
- 19:36Speaker 1: flight on United that was truly memorable. Why don't you
- 19:38Speaker 1: tell the people? Yeah, So, me and this girl I've
- 19:42Speaker 1: been seeing, Abylonia, decided to take a trip for the
- 19:46Speaker 1: weekend on United. And halfway through the flight, Abylonia says, hey, Tony,
- 19:53Speaker 1: let's join the mile high club. So we got to
- 19:57Speaker 1: the bathroom and after two minutes there was a huge bank.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Then Abylonia turns to me and says, Tony, that was
