- 0:03Speaker 1: This is a Bramble Jam podcast.
- 0:12Speaker 2: This week on your Gabble Gabble. If you bust your
- 0:15Speaker 2: knee looking for your dog lost in a sea of bubbles,
- 0:17Speaker 2: does the city owe you for a prank? Judge Gino's
- 0:20Speaker 2: all in.
- 0:22Speaker 1: And if you get banned from a bar that you
- 0:24Speaker 1: have a share with your name on it is that
- 0:28Speaker 1: bad tries tell this real Beebo cases.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Thanks just this. This is.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Wow.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Wow man, it feels good. Brand.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Let's feel good.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Back in the channel, back in the chambers, all ship,
- 0:52Speaker 2: It's great to be here today. Got a Judge Ross.
- 0:55Speaker 1: We got a Judge Gino. This is always fun.
- 1:00Speaker 2: It is fun.
- 1:01Speaker 1: The injuries I feel like are typically on the longer side.
- 1:04Speaker 1: They are Yeah, yeah, I'll get by out of the
- 1:06Speaker 1: way first. Wow, So I'll go first when I'm dead. No,
- 1:10Speaker 1: I think it's the right move. We did do a
- 1:11Speaker 1: coin flip beforehand, so you chosen Max Bart. Max Bart
- 1:17Speaker 1: is suing Kyle Harrison for twenty thousand.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Dollars twenty thousand dollars.
- 1:24Speaker 1: For what he claims is a loss of business.
- 1:28Speaker 2: I thought Judge Ross. Max was ten not here, dude.
- 1:31Speaker 2: You know what I heard about Judge Ross. And maybe
- 1:34Speaker 2: it's a rumor. But the way he treats me justice
- 1:38Speaker 2: is just different than I think a lot of folks,
- 1:41Speaker 2: Like a lot of people are like, I don't know,
- 1:42Speaker 2: it's just gobbledy gook, Like I don't understand it. But
- 1:45Speaker 2: the way that Judge Ross treats it is it isn't
- 1:47Speaker 2: a foreign costs not a foreign cons right, twenty k
- 1:50Speaker 2: better not be twenty k uh.
- 1:52Speaker 1: So Max owns a bar that he inherited from his
- 1:55Speaker 1: father when his dad passed away two years ago, and
- 1:58Speaker 1: it has been in the family for his life as
- 2:01Speaker 1: he can remember. Now, Kyle has been coming to this
- 2:05Speaker 1: bar for well over fifteen years. Okay, he loves this bar.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I love this bar.
- 2:10Speaker 1: He is there, Toby Keith, rest in peace. He is
- 2:13Speaker 1: there per his admission, basically every day.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Per his admission. Every day. He's at the bar every day.
- 2:21Speaker 2: He loves it.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Even when he was when Max was a kid, he
- 2:26Speaker 1: uh even like helped helped Max with math.
- 2:30Speaker 2: He's just always there, man, He's always there.
- 2:33Speaker 1: So Kyle says that after Max's dad passed, Max began
- 2:39Speaker 1: to make changes to the bar that messed with both
- 2:44Speaker 1: the ambiance and the traditions.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Of the bar. Okay, so what if we bought my reaties? Yes, yeah,
- 2:54Speaker 2: well hold on to that, hold on, I thought. So.
- 3:00Speaker 1: When Max took over the bar, he began to look
- 3:04Speaker 1: at the books that his dad left behind and realized
- 3:07Speaker 1: that the bar was losing money a month over month.
- 3:10Speaker 1: And Max decize some changes have to be made here. Yeah,
- 3:16Speaker 1: and we need to appeal to the younger people in crowd.
- 3:21Speaker 1: We're in Austin, Texas and this town has gotten younger,
- 3:26Speaker 1: and you know, there's college kids and whatnot, and none
- 3:29Speaker 1: of those people are coming to our bar. We have
- 3:32Speaker 1: a lot of regulars, such as Kyle, but we don't
- 3:36Speaker 1: have a lot of new people coming to the bar.
- 3:38Speaker 1: So when Max took over, he wanted to try to
- 3:40Speaker 1: appeal more to the younger demographic. Kyle speaks up and says,
- 3:44Speaker 1: he changed everything. Oh, Kyle changed everything. This bar is
- 3:48Speaker 1: important to me. I even have a chair in the
- 3:50Speaker 1: bar with my name on it. His dad did that
- 3:53Speaker 1: for me. And we see a picture of the chair.
- 3:55Speaker 1: It has a plaque screwed into the back of the
- 4:00Speaker 1: so everyone knows that this is Kyle's here. Everybody knows
- 4:04Speaker 1: that this is Kyle's chair. Ye, Max is like, you
- 4:09Speaker 1: love this bar because you'd get alcohol for free all
- 4:12Speaker 1: the time.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why you that's why you love your bar.
- 4:18Speaker 1: And Judge Ross begins to ask Kyle do you have
- 4:20Speaker 1: a problem with alcohol, and before he can answer, Kyle says, no, no,
- 4:27Speaker 1: And I don't even know why we're talking about that here.
- 4:29Speaker 1: It has nothing to do with the case. I've been
- 4:32Speaker 1: eighty six and kicked out of a bar that I've
- 4:36Speaker 1: been going to forever.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Ross asked them.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Okay, some people don't do well to change, you know.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Why were you kicked out? Kyle says, no reason, no reason,
- 4:45Speaker 1: no reason. Okay, there's a reason. I went behind the
- 4:50Speaker 1: bar and grabbed a beer that I have been grabbing
- 4:53Speaker 1: for years.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Oh boy, here we go. Made one mistake.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Max laughs at that statement that he made one mistake.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Judge Ross says, you don't think that a new owner
- 5:05Speaker 1: someone coming behind the bar and grabbing a beer, uh
- 5:09Speaker 1: to to to a new owner, that would be a
- 5:11Speaker 1: bit of a red flag to them.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Yeah, And that is when Kyle says, sitting down, I'm ready.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Oh like the pride flags that he's put all over
- 5:24Speaker 1: the walls, is that the kind of flags you're talking about?
- 5:27Speaker 1: Judge Ross, Is that the type of flags you're talking about?
- 5:32Speaker 1: Judge Ross says, what is that? What does that have
- 5:36Speaker 1: to do with this case? What in the world Kyle?
- 5:41Speaker 1: And Kyle says, it's all political. He banned me because
- 5:44Speaker 1: we don't agree politically. He starts putting these flags and
- 5:49Speaker 1: black Lives Matters stuff all.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Over the walls. Kyle sounds like a real winner.
- 5:54Speaker 1: He's changed the bar and they're changing Austin, keep Boston weird.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Yeah, where's where's Kyle beIN?
- 6:02Speaker 1: What part of Austin is Kyle been that hasn't been weird?
- 6:08Speaker 1: So Judge Ross is like, well, I think Austin has
- 6:11Speaker 1: been changing for quite some time to reflect more of
- 6:13Speaker 1: the community in which it's made up of.
- 6:16Speaker 2: And uh Max.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Says, exactly, once we made these changes to be more inclusive,
- 6:21Speaker 1: we had a grand reopening and the entire neighborhood showed up.
- 6:25Speaker 1: People that have never been to our bar before begin
- 6:27Speaker 1: to come to our bar. And Kyle's like, that's what
- 6:29Speaker 1: happens with openings, And Judge Ross is not every opening,
- 6:32Speaker 1: Not everyone who has a grand opening has a bunch
- 6:35Speaker 1: of people coming. And also, please stop challenging me, he says.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Kyle Max is running a business. He's trying to make money.
- 6:45Speaker 1: He's trying to keep the bar open that you've been
- 6:47Speaker 1: going to for years. Max says, I didn't ban him
- 6:52Speaker 1: until three months after the reopening.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Dude, there is I don't know how we're getting to
- 6:58Speaker 2: twenty thousand dollars. He's want to get every dime.
- 7:01Speaker 1: He was making everybody uncomfortable in the bar. He's going
- 7:05Speaker 1: on rants about all these woke people in the bar,
- 7:08Speaker 1: kicking people out of his chair, and he wouldn't stop
- 7:12Speaker 1: going behind the bar. I asked him many times to stop,
- 7:16Speaker 1: and finally I had to call the cops on him
- 7:18Speaker 1: because he kept coming behind the bar and I was
- 7:20Speaker 1: worried that I was gonna lose my liquor license.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, makes sense.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Then he gets all these other old regulars to start
- 7:29Speaker 1: protesting outside of the bar with all Lives Matter signs,
- 7:36Speaker 1: and Max and Kyle's like, yeah, he only has Black
- 7:41Speaker 1: Lives Matters sign in the bar. When I got kicked
- 7:44Speaker 1: out of the bar, it made me feel like I
- 7:46Speaker 1: don't matter.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Can Kyle owe everyone everything?
- 7:51Speaker 1: So Judge Ross then goes on a long lesson about
- 7:53Speaker 1: why the Black Lives Matter's movement started and Kyle just
- 7:58Speaker 1: kind of keeps going back to banned for my bar.
- 8:01Speaker 1: I was band, where's the twenty thousand come from? Okay,
- 8:04Speaker 1: so this case is about twenty thousand dollars. Where does
- 8:08Speaker 1: the twenty thousand dollars come from? Max explains that during
- 8:13Speaker 1: the south By South of south By Southwest event, you
- 8:16Speaker 1: know it, you've heard of it.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I'm sure we got next to no business.
- 8:22Speaker 1: And the reviews that I have printed and provided prove
- 8:26Speaker 1: that people weren't coming to the door because of the
- 8:30Speaker 1: protesting outside. In fact, there's one review that says they
- 8:33Speaker 1: couldn't even get to the door because there was an
- 8:36Speaker 1: angry old man outside.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Did they have a permit to protest? They're on public property,
- 8:42Speaker 2: so they're not on the bar's property.
- 8:44Speaker 1: No, they're outside, they're outside on the sidewalk.
- 8:48Speaker 2: So there it is.
- 8:50Speaker 1: So because of the protesting, I wasn't able to make
- 8:53Speaker 1: any money in an event that historically the bar's done
- 8:55Speaker 1: really well with, we weren't able to make any money
- 8:57Speaker 1: and so I'm estimating twenty thousand dollars loss over the
- 9:01Speaker 1: course of that weekend. That's what I'm suing for. And
- 9:04Speaker 1: Judge Ross is I can ready.
- 9:06Speaker 2: To see Judge Ross's face as he says, I hate
- 9:10Speaker 2: it for you, but the judgment's gonna fall in favor
- 9:12Speaker 2: of the defendant. And he has a smile, like an
- 9:14Speaker 2: unfortunate smile on his face when he says it. I
- 9:16Speaker 2: can see it in my mind's eye. I can see
- 9:20Speaker 2: it exactly how he says it. Kyle's not getting Max
- 9:23Speaker 2: isn't getting a dime. Kyle's in SOB, what are you
- 9:25Speaker 2: gonna do?
- 9:26Speaker 1: You're exactly right down, That's exactly what happens. He's like,
- 9:29Speaker 1: I got it. The hammer's gonna fall in. Guy's gonna
- 9:32Speaker 1: fall in favor of the defendant.
- 9:33Speaker 2: That's exactly right.
- 9:34Speaker 1: There's something I can do in this case. Obviously it's
- 9:37Speaker 1: very hard to prove you lost money that you didn't
- 9:40Speaker 1: have in the first place. Correct, But also it's even
- 9:43Speaker 1: harder to prove a public nuisance case in a situation
- 9:49Speaker 1: that involves free speech. So he's on public property, he
- 9:54Speaker 1: is doing his first Amendment right, he.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Doing his first Amendment right. He is doing it.
- 9:58Speaker 1: He's doing he's doing it. He's doing he's doing it.
- 10:02Speaker 1: And so there's nothing that I can do here. You
- 10:04Speaker 1: do Sorry, basically sorry, Sorry for two thousand and four. Yeah,
- 10:09Speaker 1: I agree.
- 10:10Speaker 2: I hate it. I hate it. I hate it. Kyle's
- 10:12Speaker 2: the worst. Kyle's the worst. Let's go over to personal
- 10:14Speaker 2: injury court, shall we?
- 10:16Speaker 1: Uh? Judge Gino drives me crazy and we can't wait
- 10:19Speaker 1: to get mad at the verdict of this case. So
- 10:22Speaker 1: Dorothy Anson is suing the municipality of Dylan. Now, I
- 10:27Speaker 1: didn't hear it, same live for I didn't hear oh
- 10:31Speaker 1: went hard, they went hard.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Crushed, I don't. I didn't hear a state. I think
- 10:35Speaker 2: it's Dylan, Colorado, but I'm not sure she's suing the
- 10:38Speaker 2: municipality of Dylan, suing an entire city. Yes, for eighty
- 10:41Speaker 2: two thousand dollars in past medical twenty thousand dollars in
- 10:45Speaker 2: lost wages, seventy five thousand dollars in pain and suffering
- 10:48Speaker 2: for one hundred and seventy seven thousand dollars total. Not
- 10:51Speaker 2: much in a personal injury court case. To Dorothy Andson says,
- 10:55Speaker 2: I live in a beautiful neighborhood. It is Dylan. In Dylan.
- 10:59Speaker 2: It has an amazing fountain park and a dog park.
- 11:02Speaker 2: So this is one park with a fountain and there's
- 11:04Speaker 2: a separate park just for dogs, they can run around.
- 11:07Speaker 2: I was recently diagnosed with anthrost sclerosis, which basically is
- 11:10Speaker 2: a hardening of my arteries, which means I have to
- 11:13Speaker 2: exercise daily to get blood cardiovascular says daily. So I go,
- 11:18Speaker 2: I walk my dog sphere. I walk my dog every
- 11:21Speaker 2: day in this park, thirty minutes of thirty forty minutes
- 11:25Speaker 2: every day, my dog Ziggy. Gina's like, what kind of
- 11:28Speaker 2: dog is Ziggy? She goes, he's a shit sue and
- 11:32Speaker 2: and there's a picture of Ziggy and she's like, there's
- 11:34Speaker 2: my baby. Well, Gino that has a broad smile on
- 11:37Speaker 2: his face as he tells her that he also had
- 11:40Speaker 2: a shit sue, but he says it sheet sue, so
- 11:42Speaker 2: you know that he really loves.
- 11:44Speaker 1: The oh gena and is at this point that I'm pretentious.
- 11:48Speaker 1: So being it's like, at this point, Gino, just rule man,
- 11:51Speaker 1: Just go ahead and give her all the money because
- 11:53Speaker 1: you know there's sheetsu boys.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Uh. So we get introduced to Greg Harold, who's representing
- 11:59Speaker 2: the municipality of Dylan. He's like, I represent the City
- 12:02Speaker 2: of Dylan and we take great pride in our many parks,
- 12:05Speaker 2: over a dozen parks.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Our focus is family and community, and many parks are
- 12:08Speaker 1: they small? No, there are many in Man and white Man.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, not Manny. We will get him involved either.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Our fountains are a source of fun. That the fountains
- 12:18Speaker 1: are supposed to be fun, so do back to Dorothy
- 12:19Speaker 1: Dorthy said, so the dog park is located right next
- 12:22Speaker 1: to the fountain park.
- 12:23Speaker 2: At six a m. I woke up. My body just
- 12:25Speaker 2: whoke me up, and I looked out the window and
- 12:27Speaker 2: there were bubbles everywhere. You couldn't see the fountain because
- 12:31Speaker 2: there were bubbles everywhere. I called nine one one. I said, hey,
- 12:37Speaker 2: there's bubbles everywhere in the park.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Fountain got bubbles.
- 12:39Speaker 2: It looks like it's gonna get out of hand. Maybe
- 12:41Speaker 2: it's a prank gone wrong. The police said, we contact
- 12:43Speaker 2: the city. I went back to bed. Bo went back
- 12:46Speaker 2: to bed, back to bed. We don't know. I got
- 12:50Speaker 2: back up at eight thirty in the morning. I look
- 12:53Speaker 2: outside and the bubbles are gone. Judge Uni says, no bubbles.
- 12:59Speaker 2: She goes, I see a few, but you can see
- 13:01Speaker 2: the fountain right, so you see the structure. So it's
- 13:04Speaker 2: the bubbles have resided at whatever and they're gone. So
- 13:09Speaker 2: I feel like I can take Ziggy for a walk,
- 13:11Speaker 2: So I get Ziggy leashed up, I go for the walk.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Oh boy, and I go down there and they're like,
- 13:18Speaker 2: go over to the plasma and tell us about the structure.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Rouse and so she gets on her crutches and everyone
- 13:25Speaker 2: acts as though the murder has taken place. She has
- 13:28Speaker 2: a rap on her knee and she crutches over everyone
- 13:31Speaker 2: like you go to Geno close up and he's like,
- 13:34Speaker 2: everybody's just like can you believe this? Kind of can you? Oh? Oh?
- 13:38Speaker 2: The heroic? Don't make her go to the plasma them
- 13:41Speaker 2: I don't know. And the plasma is just kind of
- 13:43Speaker 2: drawing on it. There's no pictures. It's literally like a
- 13:45Speaker 2: crayon drawing. So they go over too.
- 13:49Speaker 1: If you have not experienced the person, you gotta go
- 13:52Speaker 1: visiness the plasma, love plasma, the unnecessary usage of the plasma, and.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Hated television technology like outdated. Anyway, she goes over there
- 14:04Speaker 2: and she shows there's a dog drawn. There's a gate
- 14:08Speaker 2: and she's like, so the gate is supposed to close
- 14:10Speaker 2: for the fountain the dog park. The gate was broken.
- 14:13Speaker 2: It doesn't latch, it doesn't close, Okay, so the gate's unlatched.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Ziggy gets out of the dog parks runs in ziggy Is.
- 14:20Speaker 2: It runs into the Fountain Park and the bubbles have
- 14:24Speaker 2: come back up. They're everywhere. She's like these bubbles. He
- 14:28Speaker 2: literally runs in and disappears. I can't see my dog anymore.
- 14:33Speaker 1: So the bubbles were there at six gone and eight gone,
- 14:36Speaker 1: at eight thirty by the mass by the time.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Okay, so she's like, my baby disappeared. I sprint into
- 14:45Speaker 2: the bubbles. There's an iron bench. It's welded to the ground.
- 14:54Speaker 2: We have some of those type of benches. She runs
- 14:57Speaker 2: into it. She doesn't see it. It's not visible in
- 14:59Speaker 2: the bubble. Right her knee. The bubbles gone. That's right.
- 15:03Speaker 2: She's like, my knee exploded, is what she said. Blood
- 15:06Speaker 2: is gushing everywhere. So Gino wants to see the bench.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Picture of the bench. It's it's it's a big time bench.
- 15:12Speaker 2: If you hit it, you use it big time. Boy.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Let's go to Greg Greg's like, I'm aware. Nine one
- 15:17Speaker 2: one was called at six am. Our park employees arrive
- 15:19Speaker 2: at nine am. My cleanup crew got there at ten
- 15:23Speaker 2: before then. The bubbles, like we have pictures, the bubbles
- 15:27Speaker 2: did stand near ten feet high. There's ten feet of
- 15:30Speaker 2: bubbles and we did get security footage out and found
- 15:34Speaker 2: we don't see the security footage personally, but he's telling
- 15:36Speaker 2: us that there was a prankster who went in and
- 15:39Speaker 2: they put a bunch of detergent in the bubbles and
- 15:41Speaker 2: basically the fountain runs some during the night. It stopped
- 15:44Speaker 2: shortly after six am, and then it kicked back on
- 15:47Speaker 2: at eight something and that's why the bubbles started back.
- 15:50Speaker 1: That's why they dissipated in this thing. Yeah, so why
- 15:54Speaker 1: was the can they not turn off the fountain remotely?
- 15:59Speaker 1: Like how did that? I don't I don't know that.
- 16:01Speaker 1: We don't get any of that.
- 16:02Speaker 2: But he said that the people that the prankices that
- 16:04Speaker 2: did this had masks on. So we still haven't. We
- 16:06Speaker 2: were working to getting the case if we haven't sold
- 16:08Speaker 2: it yet, that's right hawklaw. Greg says, if she saw
- 16:14Speaker 2: that the bubbles eight feet high, like common sense says,
- 16:17Speaker 2: don't run into the bubbles, Like it's pretty straightforward. My baby,
- 16:21Speaker 2: Dorothy says, you'r honor, this is my baby. I chased
- 16:24Speaker 2: after my baby. Gino then looks at Greg Harold and goes,
- 16:28Speaker 2: what if your kid, what.
- 16:29Speaker 1: If you understand this? You understand ran in there? What
- 16:33Speaker 1: would you do?
- 16:34Speaker 2: Greg's like, I'm just staying saying you would steer clear
- 16:37Speaker 2: of something like this, and uh. And then Gino goes
- 16:41Speaker 2: Miss Hanson, when that wall of bubbles goes up, can't
- 16:44Speaker 2: you just wait till your dog runs out the other side?
- 16:47Speaker 2: And she says, no, I'm trying to rescue my baby.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I do think, Like, yes, I do think if my
- 16:53Speaker 1: baby was in a thing of bubbles. I still don't
- 16:57Speaker 1: think I'd run full bore into the bubbles. No, I neither.
- 17:01Speaker 2: I'd start going like this. I'd be like, hey, right, oh,
- 17:05Speaker 2: don't worry, just buckle up. Greg then goes, first of all,
- 17:08Speaker 2: you're on it. There's been no report of the gate
- 17:10Speaker 2: not having a malfunction. Second of all, there are park rules,
- 17:14Speaker 2: and the park states clearly that dogs must remain on
- 17:17Speaker 2: a leash at all times, and the only exception is
- 17:20Speaker 2: in the dog park after the gate behind you is closed. Okay,
- 17:26Speaker 2: Dorothy's like, the gate wasn't working. Interesting the gate was, Yeah,
- 17:29Speaker 2: I'll take it now. Sure, absolutely the gate wasn't working. Oh,
- 17:33Speaker 2: how did you get a big one out of this?
- 17:35Speaker 2: Which one of these.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Sucks?
- 17:38Speaker 2: A suck man? I guess you got a large one.
- 17:42Speaker 2: I think, Okay, we'll see because mine's different than yours. Well,
- 17:47Speaker 2: if that doesn't taste right, just let me know. Uh So, basically,
- 17:51Speaker 2: Greg's like, you can't have your dog off a leash.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Dorothy's like, she He's like, if the dog, if the
- 17:57Speaker 2: gate's not working, then you can't take your dog off
- 17:59Speaker 2: the leash. Can't do it.
- 18:01Speaker 1: She should have checked the gate.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Yeah, well, she says the gate was broken. She's like,
- 18:04Speaker 2: why should take it off? The off dog off the leash.
- 18:07Speaker 2: She says, there's no sign anywhere. I don't see a
- 18:09Speaker 2: sign anywhere, and Greg then says, oh please, woman, there's
- 18:12Speaker 2: signs everywhere.
- 18:13Speaker 1: She's blind. He says that exactly, you gotta do your
- 18:17Speaker 1: homework on Judge Gino. You can't go in there. It
- 18:20Speaker 1: shows that you don't feel bad about the injury. You
- 18:23Speaker 1: have to show sympathy to get any sort of treatment
- 18:26Speaker 1: from Judge Gino.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Let me just come on watch an episode. At least
- 18:28Speaker 2: you could do. That's right. Well, we then see signs
- 18:34Speaker 2: that say dogs must remain on the leash. Dorothy says,
- 18:37Speaker 2: does that taste right or no? Yeah? It just good, Okay,
- 18:40Speaker 2: tastes like it normally does. Yeah, I think so all right,
- 18:44Speaker 2: I've never had this before. One second, mine was twenty ounce,
- 18:49Speaker 2: years was thirty two. We're good to go, all right, cool, So,
- 18:51Speaker 2: uh this is really good stuff. It's really good stuff.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Uh so, Gino says, missus Ann back on, back on
- 18:58Speaker 1: the Can you say you walk your dog in the
- 19:00Speaker 1: park every morning, You've never seen this sign?
- 19:03Speaker 2: Dorothy's like, he he must, he must have put it
- 19:06Speaker 2: up after my accident happened. Wow, Greg says, They're literally
- 19:09Speaker 2: on every entrance and exit in the park, every single one.
- 19:14Speaker 2: So Gina's like, there's only two possibilities. Either the sign
- 19:17Speaker 2: wasn't there or you weren't paying attention to it. Greg's like,
- 19:20Speaker 2: your honor, but also if it's your baby, check the gate,
- 19:26Speaker 2: check the gate. Also, Greg's like, we have proof. These
- 19:28Speaker 2: sons drop it every they are, they're everyone. Gino's like,
- 19:32Speaker 2: you should, you should have seen these signs. And Greg's like,
- 19:35Speaker 2: she's been living here for eight years in this community,
- 19:38Speaker 2: she should know the signs. So then we see a
- 19:41Speaker 2: picture of the knee. The knee doesn't look bad at all. Really,
- 19:47Speaker 2: it's a gash below the kneecap, bloody, not bad. Here's
- 19:51Speaker 2: you ready for this? I'm glad you're seated. Dorothy says,
- 19:54Speaker 2: after trying to medicate my knee myself, I went to
- 19:57Speaker 2: the er after a couple of days. Greg goes a
- 20:02Speaker 2: couple of days, You're on her. She didn't need to
- 20:05Speaker 2: go to the emergency room right away. She went after
- 20:08Speaker 2: a couple of days. Dorothy's like, I had to get stitches.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Here's a picture. The picture is gruesome. There are two stitches.
- 20:16Speaker 2: It is not completely sewn up. It is a mess.
- 20:19Speaker 2: It is terribly infected. She says that the knee gets infected.
- 20:23Speaker 2: The reason the knee gets infected is because she continued
- 20:27Speaker 2: to walk around on it and not get it sewn
- 20:29Speaker 2: up immediately, so she got her knee infected. She's like,
- 20:34Speaker 2: I'm a dental hygienis. I have to walk around for
- 20:36Speaker 2: my job. I lost these wages because I couldn't do it,
- 20:39Speaker 2: and still can't do it. My knee got so infected
- 20:41Speaker 2: they thought they were gonna have to take the leg.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Gino brings in a dial.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Take that leg please.
- 20:46Speaker 2: The doctor comes in and says, the thing about where
- 20:49Speaker 2: this cut is is that she treated it herself, and
- 20:52Speaker 2: then she continued to move constantly and that pulled the
- 20:56Speaker 2: wound further apart, causing it to get infected and for
- 20:59Speaker 2: that infection to grow all the way down into the
- 21:02Speaker 2: bottom of her leg, into the fashia of the muscle right,
- 21:05Speaker 2: and so when the surgeon sews it up, they can't
- 21:08Speaker 2: completely close it because of the infection has to go somewhere,
- 21:12Speaker 2: and so it creates what she calls and I know,
- 21:14Speaker 2: we're eating kind of a giant puss pocket. So there's that.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Gino at this point says, Doc, you're gonna turn me
- 21:22Speaker 2: into a vegetarian. And I guess Gino's a cannibal. I
- 21:26Speaker 2: don't know. I don't know why, why that makes I
- 21:32Speaker 2: don't know, I don't know. But Gino has a singer
- 21:35Speaker 2: and he's gonna use it. And then the doc says,
- 21:39Speaker 2: we're fortunate that the plane off didn't lose her leg.
- 21:41Speaker 2: Gino is ready to rule. That is what. Yeah, that's it.
- 21:45Speaker 2: He's ready to rule. Eighty two thousand past medical, twenty thousand,
- 21:50Speaker 2: lost wages, seventy five thousand, pain and suffering one seventy
- 21:53Speaker 2: seven total.
- 21:54Speaker 1: There's so many ways on which I can see this
- 21:56Speaker 1: woman not getting money. Uh.
- 21:58Speaker 2: One, it's completely her fault. That is one has one.
- 22:05Speaker 1: In every aspect, she didn't close the gate, she ran
- 22:07Speaker 1: into a pile of bubbles, she didn't go to the
- 22:10Speaker 1: er immediately. In every aspect of this, it is her fault.
- 22:13Speaker 1: I've seen this show before, though, and for me once
- 22:17Speaker 1: that comment just Gina's gonna give her all the money,
- 22:20Speaker 1: and I'm gonna be mad about it. We're gonna have
- 22:22Speaker 1: ourselves a good time. But fool me, I'm not. This
- 22:25Speaker 1: isn't gonna happen again. It's not gonna happen again. When
- 22:28Speaker 1: I'm confident, I go. There's no way she's getting any money.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Even though it's entire her fault. She is gonna give
- 22:34Speaker 1: her the money. This couldn't be more airtight. She deserves
- 22:37Speaker 1: zero dollars. Gino's giving her money.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 22:42Speaker 1: G Gino says, So there are three different uh groups
- 22:49Speaker 1: of people here.
- 22:50Speaker 2: The prankster has to get some blame. The prankster has
- 22:54Speaker 2: to get some blame, and and they do. And then
- 22:59Speaker 2: the municipality had three or four hours after the nine
- 23:02Speaker 2: one one call. I was the one thing. That's the
- 23:06Speaker 2: one thing, he says. No judge in America is going
- 23:08Speaker 2: to say that's not enough time to have done something
- 23:11Speaker 2: the municipality didn't do it.
- 23:12Speaker 1: You need to have somebody on call. I can come
- 23:15Speaker 1: in before the morning, chiv upon and do the thing.
- 23:19Speaker 2: And miss Anson starts clapping, and he says, well, I
- 23:22Speaker 2: wouldn't clap just yet. Don't celebrate too soon, because you
- 23:27Speaker 2: also have contributory negligence, which is basically a fancy way
- 23:33Speaker 2: to say that you will respond you were negligent in
- 23:35Speaker 2: some form or fashion by taking your dog off the leash.
- 23:38Speaker 2: He says that these three forces all share responsibility, the prankster,
- 23:43Speaker 2: the city, and you. He gives the prankster ten percent
- 23:48Speaker 2: of the responsibility. He gives miss Anson thirty percent of
- 23:54Speaker 2: the responsibility. He gives the municipality of Dylan sixty percent
- 23:59Speaker 2: of the responsibility, gives her sixty percent of the money.
- 24:03Speaker 2: She walks away with one hundred and six thousand, two
- 24:06Speaker 2: hundred dollars for something that is entirely her fault.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Not only is that ridiculous, it's also you can't.
- 24:17Speaker 2: The pranksters aren't here.
- 24:20Speaker 1: We don't know who the pranksters are, so oh no,
- 24:24Speaker 1: let's throw them out. Or they either are entirely responsible
- 24:29Speaker 1: or they're not responsible, like.
- 24:30Speaker 2: You can't they're not there. We don't know who they are.
- 24:34Speaker 2: So what we're left with is was the city negligent
- 24:38Speaker 2: or was she? I just sixty percent No, she didn't.
- 24:42Speaker 2: She didn't drive it done. It's unbelievable. I did.
- 24:45Speaker 1: My thing is this is if she had gone to
- 24:47Speaker 1: the er immediately I met, the city of Dylan would
- 24:50Speaker 1: have paid that eight hundred dollars tab. This eighty two
- 24:54Speaker 1: thousand dollars in past medical is because you were negligent
- 24:58Speaker 1: on your own box.
- 24:59Speaker 2: True too, like that that would never have happened. Well,
- 25:02Speaker 2: how much just stitching up a knee cost and going
- 25:05Speaker 2: home with antibiotics a few hundred dollars? Like that? It's
- 25:10Speaker 2: it's it's all that was My thing was the twenty
- 25:13Speaker 2: thousand lost wages and the eighty two thousand past medical
- 25:16Speaker 2: and the pain and suffering. All of that is because
- 25:19Speaker 2: you didn't go to the doctor. If you had gone
- 25:22Speaker 2: to the doctor, then this is solved for under one
- 25:25Speaker 2: thousand dollars in a week off of work. It's unbelievable.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Gino does it again? We got Gina.
- 25:32Speaker 1: All right, I'm gonna take some time. We'll be back
- 25:34Speaker 1: next toime on another one.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Until then, all rise yo, Gavel Gavels a bramble jam

- 26:01Speaker 1: lights on here in the old studio. Thanks for listening
- 26:06Speaker 1: or don't listen. It's really up to you. At this point.
- 26:09Speaker 1: It is at the end of the show. I mean,
