  Speaker 1: for rescuing us, saving us, transforming us, renewing us, redeeming us,

  Speaker 1: restoring us, filling us with your Holy Spirit, with power, authority, love, grace, mercy,

  Speaker 1: all of it, Lord God, that you have given us

  Speaker 1: to live this life out in guidliness and righteousness. Whether

  Speaker 1: or not we believe in ourselves, You believed in us.

  Speaker 1: So now we can believe in ourselves because we have

  Speaker 1: the one who believes in us living inside of us,

  Speaker 1: working salvation through us, working this Christian life through us.

  Speaker 1: Because you are a thankful Lord, and you're a thankful savior.

  Speaker 1: Thank you, Lord for giving us what you have done

  Speaker 1: and given us your very best, so we can only

  Speaker 1: return give you back our lives. So I pray Lord

  Speaker 1: God protection. I pray health to body, strength to our bones,

  Speaker 1: and a mighty powerful name of Jesus. I pray sickness

  Speaker 1: In the name of Jesus, I pray health over my family,

  Speaker 1: over myself, my wife, our daughters, my son. Amen, and

  Speaker 1: thankful Lord. Today on the morning Devo authentic imitationology. John

  Speaker 1: shot to them as six Verse number eleven Bible says,

  Speaker 1: Then Jesus took the lows, and when he had given thanks.

  Speaker 1: You see that when he had given thanks, he distributed
• 10:10
  Speaker 1: them to those who were seated the same also with
• 10:15
  Speaker 1: the fish, as much as they wanted. Amen. And this
• 10:22
  Speaker 1: is an example of where Jesus, our Lord, gave thanks
• 10:26
  Speaker 1: before a miracle, gave thanks before provision, gave thanks before
• 10:32
  Speaker 1: he supplied our wants, gave thanks and did something so
• 10:37
  Speaker 1: incredible with somebody's faith. Amen. Whatever this young kid had,
• 10:43
  Speaker 1: he gave. And of course this is the story that
• 10:47
  Speaker 1: you see about when Jesus fed the thousands with just
• 10:51
  Speaker 1: a little. See, because God could do a lot with
• 10:56
  Speaker 1: the little. Amen. So you don't have to come rich.

  Speaker 1: You don't have to come to God rich. You don't
• 11:02
  Speaker 1: have to come to God already change. You don't have
• 11:04
  Speaker 1: to come to God. You know perfect. You come to
• 11:06
  Speaker 1: God with what you have. Amen. And He will be

  Speaker 1: thankful to the Father for you and for you what
• 11:12
  Speaker 1: your needs are, because he is the God who sees
• 11:14
  Speaker 1: our needs and provides for every single one of those needs.

  Speaker 1: Jesus took the loaves. He takes whatever you have, Amen,
• 11:22
  Speaker 1: and he gives thanks for it, and he'll distribute those
• 11:25
  Speaker 1: things that we give him Amen, among the people, so
• 11:29
  Speaker 1: as much as they want, they will be given what
• 11:31
  Speaker 1: they need. Amen. That's an amazing story right there. Always,
• 11:35
  Speaker 1: it always inspires me to do what I can and
• 11:38
  Speaker 1: allow God to do what I can't. Amen. So that
• 11:42
  Speaker 1: way I know for sure that it will get done.
• 11:45
  Speaker 1: God's will will get done according to his riches and
• 11:48
  Speaker 1: his glory through Christ Jesus. Because we serve a God Amen,
• 11:53
  Speaker 1: by God Jesus, perfect example of who God is. Amen.

  Speaker 1: And he was a thankful Lord. So we should be
• 11:58
  Speaker 1: thankful people and grateful for everything that God has given us. Amen.

  Speaker 1: That's an amazing story. People, whether or not you believe
• 12:07
  Speaker 1: in the Lord or not, Amen, you got to consider
• 12:09
  Speaker 1: this story though, right. Consider God's thankfulness, Consider God's grace,
• 12:16
  Speaker 1: consider God's mercy, consider God's provision through his son, only
• 12:21
  Speaker 1: be gotten son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Amazing story. Amen. So,
• 12:28
  Speaker 1: so Jesus demonstrated thankfulness during his earthly ministry. We see,
• 12:32
  Speaker 1: we know it, we read about it. Amen. If I
• 12:35
  Speaker 1: was there, man, it would be amazing. But it seems
• 12:37
  Speaker 1: like it seems like sometimes when I, at least for me,
• 12:42
  Speaker 1: when I read the scripture, I could paint myself there.
• 12:44
  Speaker 1: I could picture myself in the crowd, a man looking
• 12:47
  Speaker 1: around and being like, Wow, what an amazing savior, What
• 12:51
  Speaker 1: an amazing Lord, What an amazing man of God, What
• 12:53
  Speaker 1: an amazing Jesus that we have. And when we see
• 12:57
  Speaker 1: Jesus given thanks to God through to the Father, a
• 13:01
  Speaker 1: man him being in his human form, giving thanks to
• 13:04
  Speaker 1: his God, his Father, as a demonstration of how we
• 13:07
  Speaker 1: should live. Next level. So the Gospels provide several instances
• 13:14
  Speaker 1: where Jesus himself expressed gratitude to the Father, highlighting the
• 13:21
  Speaker 1: importance of thankfulness and his life and ministry. His life
• 13:28
  Speaker 1: and his ministry. So we see the notable example when
• 13:34
  Speaker 1: Jesus gave thanks before feeding the multitude with loaves and fish,
• 13:40
  Speaker 1: before performing the miracle. He took the loaves, he gave thanks,
• 13:45
  Speaker 1: and then it was a distribution of food among the people.
• 13:50
  Speaker 1: This act of gratitude, he was before miraculous provision. So
• 13:57
  Speaker 1: that means before our miracle, VERI is thankfulness before a miracle.

  Speaker 1: The Father is being thanked amazing before a miracle. Jesus
• 14:10
  Speaker 1: gave thanks, showing his reliance on the Father. So the
• 14:15
  Speaker 1: Lord Jesus, our Lord, our savior, our redeemer, gave thanks
• 14:20
  Speaker 1: to his father. How much more should we be giving
• 14:22
  Speaker 1: thanks for everything that we have to the Father. And
• 14:25
  Speaker 1: then watching Jesus perform miracles and also Holy Spirit will
• 14:29
  Speaker 1: remind us of this story just like he did today.
• 14:33
  Speaker 1: Come on, man, this is amazing. How could it be
• 14:37
  Speaker 1: that God is so gra gracious to us? Amen? How
• 14:42
  Speaker 1: could it be that he's mindful of our needs? Brother Ivan,

  Speaker 1: and my brother. How could it be? This God is amazing?

  Speaker 1: This God is a god of love. God is love

  Speaker 1: at his essence. God is pure love. He's pure light,

  Speaker 1: He's pure holiness, he is pure truth. Amen. So Jesus

  Speaker 1: shows us by example being thankful. He's the thankful Lord,

  Speaker 1: a man. He was thankful for what he was given,
• 15:14
  Speaker 1: a man so he could provide for those who are
• 15:16
  Speaker 1: in need. Gave thanks to the Father first. Another instance
• 15:21
  Speaker 1: is at the Last Supper. You remember the Last Supper
• 15:23
  Speaker 1: in the scriptures, where Jesus gave thanks before breaking the
• 15:27
  Speaker 1: bread and sharing the cup with his disciples. So Jesus
• 15:32
  Speaker 1: the Last Supper gave what he gave thanks. We give
• 15:37
  Speaker 1: thanks every meal that we eat together as a family,
• 15:39
  Speaker 1: we pray over that food. We give thanks to the
• 15:42
  Speaker 1: Lord for providing that food, because we know that without him,
• 15:46
  Speaker 1: without him giving us the health to gain wealth, we
• 15:48
  Speaker 1: won't have food on the table. We won't have enough
• 15:51
  Speaker 1: to feed the family. So we give thanks to the
• 15:55
  Speaker 1: Father for the food, and we give glory and honor
• 15:58
  Speaker 1: to the Lord Jesus. And we know that Holy Spirit
• 16:01
  Speaker 1: is reminding us to do that every day, and the
• 16:05
  Speaker 1: good times and the bad times. Amen, give thanks last
• 16:10
  Speaker 1: Supper where Jesus gave thanks before breaking the bread and
• 16:13
  Speaker 1: sharing the cup with his disciples, instituting the New Covenant
• 16:17
  Speaker 1: in his blood. We see that in Luke chapter twenty two,
• 16:21
  Speaker 1: verses nineteen and twenty. Luke twenty two, Chapter twenty two,
• 16:27
  Speaker 1: verses nineteen and twenty. This moment of thankfulness was significant.

  Speaker 1: It was important, Amen, It was a highlight. It pointed
• 16:37
  Speaker 1: to the sacrifice he was about to make for the
• 16:40
  Speaker 1: salvation of all humanity. God offers to save all of humanity.

  Speaker 1: The Lord said, my wish is that none should perish,
• 16:50
  Speaker 1: but everyone have everlasting life. In other words, that everyone
• 16:54
  Speaker 1: will be saved be thankful that we have a savior
• 16:57
  Speaker 1: who is willing to save your life, save my life, Rescue, save,
• 17:03
  Speaker 1: give eternal life. Salvation. That means that you're born again
• 17:07
  Speaker 1: into a new life, not an old life. God doesn't
• 17:11
  Speaker 1: leave us stuck in the oldness. Amen. He will provide
• 17:14
  Speaker 1: us the newness of who Christ is. Amen. So we
• 17:17
  Speaker 1: see that at the Last Supper you could check it
• 17:19
  Speaker 1: out for yourself. Luke, Chapter twenty two, Verses nineteen and twenty.

  Speaker 1: Jesus also, Amen. There's so many instances. There's so many

  Speaker 1: examples of the Lord Jesus, the Christ of Nazareth, a
• 17:34
  Speaker 1: man being thankful to the Father for what he was given.

  Speaker 1: And this other example when when he was praying in
• 17:45
  Speaker 1: his prayers, he thanked the Father for hearing him. Amen.

  Speaker 1: So I thank God that he hears me. Amen. That's
• 17:54
  Speaker 1: another mind blowing, amazing, gracious thing that God has done
• 17:58
  Speaker 1: given us. Ears that he listens to us. He gives
• 18:02
  Speaker 1: us a voice so we could call out to him
• 18:05
  Speaker 1: and he listens to us. He thanked the Father for
• 18:10
  Speaker 1: hearing him when he raised his friend Lazareth. Remember that
• 18:16
  Speaker 1: he went to his friend's home where he was already
• 18:20
  Speaker 1: put in a tomb. His body was starting to smell
• 18:23
  Speaker 1: and decay, and Jesus shows up, the resurrection himself shows up.
• 18:28
  Speaker 1: That people are like, you should have got here earlier.
• 18:30
  Speaker 1: The sisters were like, where were you? We needed you.
• 18:33
  Speaker 1: If you were here, we would know that our brother
• 18:35
  Speaker 1: would not have died. But Jesus said, I'm the Resurrection.

  Speaker 1: I'm here. He gave thanks to the Father. He said, thankful, Lord,
• 18:41
  Speaker 1: gave thanks to the Father for what was about to happen.

  Speaker 1: He thanked the Father for hearing him when he raised
• 18:50
  Speaker 1: Lazarus from the dead, acknowledging the Father's constant presence and support.

  Speaker 1: Constant presence and support. I'm thankful for that, Amen, I'm

  Speaker 1: thankful that God is able, He's available. He's Jehovah Shama,

  Speaker 1: the God who is there, the God who is here

  Speaker 1: in your situation and in my situation, God is there.

  Speaker 1: We see that story in John chapter eleven, Verses forty
• 19:17
  Speaker 1: one and forty two. Because of time, I'm just citing

  Speaker 1: the scriptures. You could go remind this tape and check

  Speaker 1: it out for yourself. So these are some of the

  Speaker 1: examples that illustrate that thankfulness was a very important part

  Speaker 1: of the life of Jesus when it came to his father.

  Speaker 1: So the son was so connected to the father that

  Speaker 1: there was thankfulness, there was gratitude, There was thanksgiving being
• 19:43
  Speaker 1: done daily between the relationship between son and the Father. Amen,

  Speaker 1: the only Begotten Son giving us a perfect example of
• 19:54
  Speaker 1: how to live this life out being thankful and being
• 19:57
  Speaker 1: full of gratitude. The attitude of gratitude will really set
• 20:00
  Speaker 1: the day off in a way that will be amazing
• 20:03
  Speaker 1: for you and amazing for me as well. So as believers,
• 20:09
  Speaker 1: we should follow the example. Especially on authentic imentationology during Friday,
• 20:13
  Speaker 1: we try to imitate the most successful person who has
• 20:17
  Speaker 1: ever lived on this planet Earth, the Lord Jesus Christ.

  Speaker 1: So we should be, as believers encourage to follow the
• 20:25
  Speaker 1: Lord's example, encourage to thank the Father, encouraged by the
• 20:30
  Speaker 1: example that Jesus displayed a hearted gratitude right for the
• 20:36
  Speaker 1: many blessings that we have received through Christ. Jesus. First
• 20:41
  Speaker 1: Thessalonians chapter five, verse eighteen and Collagians chapter three, verse seventeen. Amen,

  Speaker 1: just quoting those scriptures. But of course we were hanging

  Speaker 1: out in John chapter six, verse number eleven. We see

  Speaker 1: the scriptures. Amen, we acknowledge the Lord Amen, him being gracious,

  Speaker 1: him being thankful to the Father, a man thankful to

  Speaker 1: his father. I'm thankful to Father, God and Heaven. I'm

  Speaker 1: thankful for the father that I had for the short
• 21:10
  Speaker 1: fifteen years of my life. Amen. He passed when I
• 21:13
  Speaker 1: was only fifteen, but I had him for fifteen years.

  Speaker 1: I'm thankful that I had a dad to call dad.

  Speaker 1: Some men that I know a man never met their
• 21:22
  Speaker 1: father physically. But we have a heavenly Father that although

  Speaker 1: day we're going to see the Father through the Son. Amen.

  Speaker 1: And when Jesus cracks open the sky. Remember when Jesus

  Speaker 1: When they say show us the Father, and Jesus would say,

  Speaker 1: were able to eat from a couple of loads of

  Speaker 1: And God took that. Jesus took what you gave him,

  Speaker 1: thinking that whatever little I give to the Lord, whatever

  Speaker 1: my wife gave the Lord. He took that. He was thankful,

  Speaker 1: this is amazing. We have everything we need through the Lord,

  Speaker 1: these promises. Let's apply this word a man, and let's

  Speaker 1: move forward in victory and in love, because we know

  Speaker 1: that without God, we don't really know what love is.

  Speaker 1: Because God is love. And if we're acting like, oh,

  Speaker 1: love is this, and love is that outside of what

  Speaker 1: the scripture says love is, then we're just doing our

  Speaker 1: big impact. But when you are impacted by Holy Spirit

  Speaker 1: and allowing Holy Spirit to move and love, grace, mercy,

  Speaker 1: is something different about me. It's called Holy Spirit, God

  Speaker 1: moving and thankfulness, gratefulness, mercy, love, hope, forgiveness, a man,

  Speaker 1: all of it. God lives inside of all of his children.

  Speaker 1: I'm thankful to the Father in heaven for sending his

  Speaker 1: son Jesus, and thank you Jesus for saving me, rescuing
