- 0:00Speaker 1: For the next generation of talk radio. It's time for politics,
- 0:04Speaker 1: pop culture, and proud pro American conservatism. Strap yourselves in,
- 0:08Speaker 1: Grab a coffee. It's time for the Chris Alciato Show
- 0:11Speaker 1: on the Voice of Texas.
- 0:16Speaker 2: But it ain't about how hard you hit.
- 0:18Speaker 3: It's about how hard you can't get hit and keep
- 0:21Speaker 3: moving forward, how much you can take and keep moving
- 0:24Speaker 3: forward so.
- 0:25Speaker 4: Many times that's right. This is the Chris Salsado Show.
- 0:31Speaker 4: I am not Chris Salsato. My name is Craig Collins,
- 0:34Speaker 4: filling in. Thrilled to be with you. So much stuff
- 0:37Speaker 4: out there to talk about. I was at Ken Paxson's
- 0:40Speaker 4: rally last night. I actually was somewhat set up to
- 0:44Speaker 4: do an interview thing that then didn't work out.
- 0:46Speaker 5: I'm gonna blame myself for that.
- 0:48Speaker 4: That's my fault and how we scheduled it and then
- 0:51Speaker 4: what I could and couldn't do.
- 0:52Speaker 5: But hopefully we'll talk to some people soon.
- 0:54Speaker 4: I think Trevor who spoke at the event, the twin
- 0:58Speaker 4: that's replacing his twin hopefully in Congress. I will be
- 1:01Speaker 4: on this show maybe tomorrow, and then maybe Ken Paxton
- 1:05Speaker 4: I will pop up. We're hoping he's been on the amigos. Though,
- 1:08Speaker 4: if you want to hear from the Attorney General, who
- 1:10Speaker 4: is I think hopefully the next senator to be sent
- 1:14Speaker 4: from this state to DC, then you probably listen to
- 1:18Speaker 4: the amigos and you'll hear him at some point.
- 1:19Speaker 5: But let's do this.
- 1:21Speaker 4: The first thing that I thought was interesting about the
- 1:24Speaker 4: event was the press gaggle we did after Paxton did
- 1:28Speaker 4: his speech and several other people did their speeches. And
- 1:31Speaker 4: actually what Paxton responded to a question about the polling
- 1:36Speaker 4: numbers and about how it looks like Tallerico's beating him,
- 1:39Speaker 4: This is how Paxton decided to field that concept. All right,
- 1:43Speaker 4: hold on, I got to make sure that once again
- 1:44Speaker 4: I hit the right buttons. I keep switching it so
- 1:47Speaker 4: that I'm making sure I don't play any bad words
- 1:48Speaker 4: on the radio here in the morning.
- 1:50Speaker 5: Here we go.
- 1:50Speaker 6: I think in Texas, if we educate the voters, they
- 1:53Speaker 6: don't know James Hellery. They don't know his voting record,
- 1:56Speaker 6: they don't know the statements that he's made about all
- 1:58Speaker 6: kinds of crazy things, including boys and girls sports.
- 2:01Speaker 5: I just don't think and.
- 2:02Speaker 7: They know that he voted for a state income tax,
- 2:04Speaker 7: so that he voted to defund the board every possible step.
- 2:08Speaker 7: I don't think that Texas, once we have the opportunity
- 2:11Speaker 7: to educate them. I mean, what is this guy accomplished?
- 2:14Speaker 5: He hasn't enough opportunity to do it. Is ten ten
- 2:16Speaker 5: was it ten years? Whatever he's been in the House.
- 2:18Speaker 7: There's no good accomplishments, just voting for bad things. So
- 2:22Speaker 7: I think the voters of Texas, once they're educated, there's
- 2:25Speaker 7: no way we're going to elect a socialist Democrat in Texas.
- 2:28Speaker 7: They might do that in New York with my ninety,
- 2:30Speaker 7: they might do it in Michigan, but it's not gonna
- 2:31Speaker 7: happen in Texas.
- 2:32Speaker 4: I really, really hope it doesn't happen in Texas. I
- 2:34Speaker 4: agree with almost everything that the attorney general, the candidate
- 2:38Speaker 4: for Senate just said there in ken Paxton. And I
- 2:41Speaker 4: do believe that most people aren't paying attention yet. And
- 2:43Speaker 4: I think that I talked to Ben Strusand on Dana's
- 2:46Speaker 4: show about that idea that most Texans, most Americans still
- 2:51Speaker 4: aren't paying attention to the election. And one of the
- 2:53Speaker 4: biggest reasons that poll numbers are so stupid to care about,
- 2:57Speaker 4: like they're so ridiculously flawed.
- 2:59Speaker 5: I've set up before.
- 3:00Speaker 4: And I'll say it again, the polsters themselves admit that
- 3:03Speaker 4: they only get things right this far out from an
- 3:05Speaker 4: election about thirty percent of the time. Most of them
- 3:08Speaker 4: are rack. It's a Hall of Fame batting average, but
- 3:11Speaker 4: it's definitely not very good in any other walk of life,
- 3:14Speaker 4: if your kid came home with a thirty on their
- 3:16Speaker 4: next test, you would not be thrilled with them. You
- 3:19Speaker 4: would not even act as though they understand the subject
- 3:21Speaker 4: that they just got a thirty on, Like that's essentially
- 3:24Speaker 4: what the pollsters pretend that they know what they're talking about,
- 3:27Speaker 4: and then they're getting thirty out of one hundred scores,
- 3:29Speaker 4: and that sends you to summer school. That sends you
- 3:31Speaker 4: to tutoring a lot of beads. You don't get to
- 3:33Speaker 4: play summer baseball. Like you're in trouble if you come
- 3:36Speaker 4: back with a thirty. Now, the other part of the
- 3:38Speaker 4: Paxton thing that I liked a lot was the first
- 3:41Speaker 4: thing he did on stage, well, a couple of the
- 3:43Speaker 4: first two things he did on stage. I'm playing part
- 3:45Speaker 4: of this again like it did in the last hour,
- 3:48Speaker 4: selfishly because you might notice a voice in here.
- 3:51Speaker 5: But here we go.
- 3:53Speaker 8: What do you think it's proby else and the other
- 3:57Speaker 8: people that came out here. Steve Toe of course, John
- 4:00Speaker 8: Bond running for US Congress. He goes, kid, you can
- 4:03Speaker 8: make sure they get elected.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Will you do that for me?
- 4:05Speaker 5: Know it?
- 4:06Speaker 9: For me?
- 4:07Speaker 8: It's a great state representative early sants, then Cody was
- 4:10Speaker 8: So and Briscoe Kane also, please get out.
- 4:14Speaker 2: And make sure your friends both with these people.
- 4:16Speaker 8: They're doing a great job. It wasn't Kenny Webster, Amaze.
- 4:20Speaker 8: He's got to be the funniest parts of guys. I
- 4:21Speaker 8: was on radio.
- 4:26Speaker 5: I'm still proud of that.
- 4:27Speaker 4: I am the only moment in the entire thing where
- 4:29Speaker 4: you heard my voice and I wasn't talking about who
- 4:32Speaker 4: a lot of people in the crowd that I was
- 4:33Speaker 4: talking about. I was talking about me. I think I'm
- 4:35Speaker 4: funnier than Kenny Webster. And I just said his whole name,
- 4:38Speaker 4: which is fine because he's not actually part of the name.
- 4:41Speaker 5: Of the show that he's on.
- 4:42Speaker 4: So I'm still not telling you to go watch or
- 4:43Speaker 4: listen to another program because I didn't name any part
- 4:46Speaker 4: of it. But all right, I want to play what
- 4:48Speaker 4: Paxson actually did, which is when he asked you to
- 4:50Speaker 4: envision the next Senate senator that we send to DC
- 4:54Speaker 4: from Texas, and then he gave you some very true
- 4:57Speaker 4: things about one James Talafreako.
- 5:00Speaker 8: Want to try something a little different.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Don't know.
- 5:01Speaker 8: If I get away with this tonight, we'll see. I
- 5:03Speaker 8: want you to close your eyes. I've never done this before.
- 5:06Speaker 8: All right, just clutch your eyes. I'm gonna close mind.
- 5:08Speaker 3: I want you to visualize in your mind that in
- 5:10Speaker 3: your head what you think the Texas the US Senator
- 5:15Speaker 3: from Texas would be like, and what he would be
- 5:18Speaker 3: mad not call. Okay, Now, as you're thinking about that,
- 5:21Speaker 3: I want you to put in your head, but the
- 5:24Speaker 3: next US Senator hates cattle and beef.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Man. All right, that's one thing.
- 5:30Speaker 8: Okay, keep we're gonna keep going, Yes, sir, Now in
- 5:33Speaker 8: that in that US centator from Texas, I want you
- 5:36Speaker 8: to visualize the US Center from Texas and hates the
- 5:39Speaker 8: old I guess industry.
- 5:41Speaker 5: It's not good.
- 5:43Speaker 8: Okay, Now, now keep going, keep going. This US Center
- 5:46Speaker 8: from Texas. He hates Christianity. Yeah alright, so now open
- 5:54Speaker 8: your eyes. I think something you already did.
- 5:56Speaker 5: I love that some lady yelled pervert to my way.
- 5:59Speaker 4: I keep playing that for that moment, because I do
- 6:01Speaker 4: find it funny that somebody wanted to remind us that
- 6:04Speaker 4: James Tallafrico when asked questions about what he thinks about
- 6:07Speaker 4: when he's lying awake at night, I think that was
- 6:09Speaker 4: the way the question was asked. I actually don't remember verbatim,
- 6:12Speaker 4: but it was something about trans kids. That's what he
- 6:15Speaker 4: thinks about, which doesn't sound like a regular normal person
- 6:18Speaker 4: and the way that they think. All right, let's play
- 6:20Speaker 4: some other clips of other stuff out there. The talent
- 6:23Speaker 4: or excuse me, the Packson event, just to cap it.
- 6:26Speaker 5: It was good.
- 6:27Speaker 4: I thought it was not as well attended as you'd
- 6:29Speaker 4: want it to be. It wasn't like it was empty.
- 6:32Speaker 4: There were definitely people there. Otherwise that audio would be better,
- 6:36Speaker 4: but it wasn't, you know, full house. And it makes
- 6:40Speaker 4: sense because it's Houston. But and I think he's in
- 6:43Speaker 4: McCallan today, so long travel for him and for that
- 6:45Speaker 4: whole team speaking. I don't know, because I know that
- 6:50Speaker 4: the enthusiasm in the Democratic Party is one of the
- 6:52Speaker 4: things that Republicans are most afraid of. Like if you
- 6:55Speaker 4: asked a strategist right now on the Republican side of
- 6:58Speaker 4: the aisle, what worries you the most about the upcoming
- 7:01Speaker 4: midterm election and outside of saying that gas prices are
- 7:04Speaker 4: a big thing, or the war in Iran and the
- 7:06Speaker 4: way that it's shaped by our media that convinces people
- 7:09Speaker 4: to hate it more than they should. Even if you
- 7:11Speaker 4: don't like it, I think that you should be able
- 7:14Speaker 4: to be convinced that there are good reasons that we're
- 7:16Speaker 4: doing it, even if you wish that it didn't happen.
- 7:19Speaker 4: I think that again, you can be convinced that fighting
- 7:22Speaker 4: to make sure that Iron never has a nuclear weapon
- 7:24Speaker 4: is in fact a good thing. Or the amount of
- 7:26Speaker 4: times that President Trump says that there's a humanitarian crisis
- 7:30Speaker 4: there because the regime of terrorists, horrible people that are
- 7:34Speaker 4: in charge just kill a whole bunch of their citizens.
- 7:37Speaker 5: That's the kind of thing.
- 7:38Speaker 4: I've said it before and I'll say it again that
- 7:39Speaker 4: Democrats would rally around if one of their leaders was
- 7:43Speaker 4: fighting that somewhere in the world. They don't want to
- 7:45Speaker 4: do it when it's Trump, and mainstream media doesn't want
- 7:48Speaker 4: to do it when it's Trump. But if the strategists
- 7:50Speaker 4: were to get through Iran and gas prices, the next
- 7:53Speaker 4: thing they'd tell you they're afraid of is enthusiasm on
- 7:56Speaker 4: the left, and a lot of that enthusiasm is coming
- 7:59Speaker 4: from Democratic Socialists of America who are crazy.
- 8:03Speaker 5: So let's do this.
- 8:05Speaker 4: I want to probably start doing this a lot on
- 8:07Speaker 4: any show that I'm on. On my evening show, is
- 8:10Speaker 4: what I probably should say about when I can do this,
- 8:12Speaker 4: I'm gonna do a Democratic Socialist roundup. So I'm gonna
- 8:15Speaker 4: play some Charlie Kirk audio. We're gonna take a break,
- 8:17Speaker 4: and then we're going to come back and play three
- 8:19Speaker 4: or four of the craziest clips in the world of
- 8:21Speaker 4: the Democratic Socialists of America. But before we take a break,
- 8:23Speaker 4: I do want to play this Charlie Kirk clip because
- 8:25Speaker 4: I kind of think it's amazing. He is talking about
- 8:29Speaker 4: in a clip that went very viral, I think just
- 8:31Speaker 4: days before he was tragically killed. He is having a
- 8:35Speaker 4: conversation about how we cannot allow Islam Marxist democratic people
- 8:41Speaker 4: to unite together against American values, and boy, is he
- 8:44Speaker 4: right about this.
- 8:45Speaker 10: The spiritual battle is coming to the West, and the
- 8:48Speaker 10: enemies are wokeismor Marxism combining with Islamism to go after
- 8:53Speaker 10: what we call the American way of life. And the
- 8:55Speaker 10: American way of life is very simple. I want to
- 8:58Speaker 10: be able to get married. Ye have kids, allow them
- 9:02Speaker 10: to ride their bike till the sun goes down, send
- 9:05Speaker 10: them to a good school, have a low crime neighborhood.
- 9:08Speaker 10: Not to have my kid be taught the lesbian, gay,
- 9:11Speaker 10: transgender garbage in their school, while also while also not
- 9:20Speaker 10: having them have to hear the Muslim cult of prayer
- 9:23Speaker 10: five times a day.
- 9:25Speaker 5: That's important. It's important.
- 9:27Speaker 4: He's right, and this is happening more and more than
- 9:30Speaker 4: we want it to. The DSA, the Marxists, the Islamis,
- 9:33Speaker 4: they're all getting together and they're seeming to collude in
- 9:36Speaker 4: the sense of how they overthrow the United States of America.
- 9:39Speaker 4: He warned us about it, and you're seeing it play
- 9:42Speaker 4: out in real time just a short amount of months
- 9:45Speaker 4: later from when he first said it on that stage
- 9:47Speaker 4: three days before he was killed. And we know, most
- 9:50Speaker 4: of us know how radical and insane these thoughts are.
- 9:54Speaker 4: And yet the machine that is politics, the machine that
- 9:58Speaker 4: is the left wing of media, the significant amount of media,
- 10:02Speaker 4: is pretending these are good ideas.
- 10:04Speaker 5: So we're going to do it. After a break.
- 10:05Speaker 4: A Democratic Socialist round up three of the craziest things
- 10:09Speaker 4: that actual democratic socialist said on television just this past
- 10:13Speaker 4: twenty four hours. Craig Collins filling in on the Chris
- 10:16Speaker 4: Salceado Show.
- 10:37Speaker 11: Hi, this is Michael Miller. Joined me this weekend for

- 12:18Speaker 4: This is the Chris Salcedo Show on KSEV AM seven
- 12:23Speaker 4: hundred Thrilled to be with you. I should give out
- 12:25Speaker 4: the phone number two eight one five five eight five
- 12:28Speaker 4: seven three eight two eight one five five eight, five
- 12:31Speaker 4: seven three eight.
- 12:31Speaker 5: You can call in.
- 12:32Speaker 4: You can participate in the show like normal, like when
- 12:34Speaker 4: Chris is here. I probably don't encourage phone calls enough,
- 12:39Speaker 4: but two eight one five five eight five seven three
- 12:41Speaker 4: eight or KSV if you want to get involved. And
- 12:43Speaker 4: I forgot about this, I want to mention this. As
- 12:45Speaker 4: I was walking into the Packson event last night, a
- 12:49Speaker 4: dude was just behind me with a ksv T shirt on.
- 12:52Speaker 4: I don't know how they got those. Did we give
- 12:54Speaker 4: those out on the air for a while. Is that
- 12:56Speaker 4: something we used to do with the kcv T shirts. Okay,
- 12:58Speaker 4: so he's just wearing one of the shirts. We got a
- 13:00Speaker 4: bunch of them over here. I gave one to a
- 13:02Speaker 4: listener a couple weeks ago that won a thing. But anyway,
- 13:06Speaker 4: I introduced myself to him because he's wearing a shirt
- 13:08Speaker 4: with the logo for the station I work at, and
- 13:10Speaker 4: I loved what he said to me. And his name
- 13:13Speaker 4: was like Mike or Dan. It was a very simple,
- 13:15Speaker 4: very short name. I don't remember what it was. But
- 13:18Speaker 4: he goes, hey, I got a bone to pick with you, Collins,
- 13:20Speaker 4: And I was like, go ahead, bro, what do you got?
- 13:22Speaker 4: He goes, you said that your wife voted for Orlando
- 13:24Speaker 4: Sanchez because she's Latino and he's Latino, and that's not okay.
- 13:29Speaker 4: You can't vote for that kind of reason. And I
- 13:32Speaker 4: laughed because the guy's right. I don't want people to
- 13:34Speaker 4: vote for people based on what they look like, or
- 13:37Speaker 4: I want them for messaging. But I responded back to him,
- 13:40Speaker 4: I go, by the way, and you're right, I'm not
- 13:42Speaker 4: saying you're wrong. My wife false doesn't really care about politics,
- 13:45Speaker 4: and so she kind of does whatever I tell.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Her to do.
- 13:48Speaker 5: And I told her to do that.
- 13:49Speaker 4: I told her to vote for Orlando Sanchez and she did.
- 13:52Speaker 4: And then as she was doing it, she said, oh, yeah,
- 13:54Speaker 4: he's a Hispanic guy.
- 13:55Speaker 5: That's cool.
- 13:55Speaker 4: And I was like, good, good for you. But he's right,
- 13:58Speaker 4: and I enjoyed the bar that was thrown at me.
- 14:01Speaker 4: But I want to do a Democratic Socialist roundup. These
- 14:04Speaker 4: are three different prominent Democratic Socialist nominees or candidates that
- 14:08Speaker 4: said crazy stuff. One was on Hannity. He is Chris
- 14:13Speaker 4: rab and they were talking about the police. So if
- 14:17Speaker 4: anyone out there thinks that the Democratic Socialist taking over
- 14:20Speaker 4: the Democratic Party is good, and I can't imagine many
- 14:23Speaker 4: people do who listen to this show, outside of the
- 14:26Speaker 4: fact that it might help them lose more elections, which
- 14:29Speaker 4: would be good, I'd be happy about that. But if
- 14:31Speaker 4: you think that it's good, if you think that anything
- 14:33Speaker 4: they're saying makes sense, let's see if you like this stuff.
- 14:36Speaker 4: Here's the number three craziest thing that I think somebody said,
- 14:40Speaker 4: who's a Democratic socialist?
- 14:41Speaker 5: About getting rid of the police.
- 14:43Speaker 14: List, you want the Green New Deal?
- 14:45Speaker 15: Would you like to abolish prisons and abolish the police?
- 14:51Speaker 16: Well, you know what's interesting about that statement is long
- 14:53Speaker 16: before there was any notion of policing, we had founders
- 14:57Speaker 16: that did not even understand that term. Policing is something
- 15:00Speaker 16: that's evolved over time.
- 15:02Speaker 14: Ultimately, what we want is to have communities.
- 15:05Speaker 16: That are safe and of what police do are not
- 15:08Speaker 16: going after the bad guys.
- 15:10Speaker 2: All of that can be done in different.
- 15:15Speaker 5: Okay, I'm talking about police on Seana. I'm going to
- 15:17Speaker 5: jump in for a second.
- 15:18Speaker 4: Ninety nine percent of what police do or not going
- 15:21Speaker 4: after the bad guys, that's what he thinks. That's a
- 15:24Speaker 4: real thing that someone says out loud that they think
- 15:26Speaker 4: you and I would actually also believe. By the way,
- 15:29Speaker 4: if you want to do a certain amount of time ago,
- 15:32Speaker 4: police weren't really a thing. Version of a discussion. I'll
- 15:35Speaker 4: remind you of something that was very much commonplace a
- 15:38Speaker 4: certain number of years ago throughout this country. Everybody had guns. Now,
- 15:43Speaker 4: for some reason, they vilify those and you know and
- 15:46Speaker 4: I know what those reasons are, but they vilify gun
- 15:48Speaker 4: ownership itself, They vilify the Second Amendment. They tell you
- 15:51Speaker 4: how bad it is, there was a time period in
- 15:53Speaker 4: our society where we probably didn't need as many police
- 15:57Speaker 4: because messing with someone probably got you shot by the
- 16:00Speaker 4: other person nine times out of ten, so there was
- 16:03Speaker 4: less of that. Some of the countries in the world
- 16:06Speaker 4: who have the highest amount of gun ownership are also
- 16:09Speaker 4: the safest because people don't want to fight each other
- 16:11Speaker 4: when the rules are fair. And actually, what's kind of
- 16:14Speaker 4: crazy about that. Just the other day, that piece of
- 16:17Speaker 4: crap shooter who shot up in in an out burger
- 16:20Speaker 4: I think eventually or excuse me, I should say, immediately
- 16:24Speaker 4: iran and then killed himself when someone returned fire. And
- 16:28Speaker 4: so that private citizen who had a gun, who had
- 16:31Speaker 4: trained himself to be capable of defending others in a
- 16:34Speaker 4: time where he's needed for that, who chose to rush
- 16:37Speaker 4: toward danger the way the police do. Fire shots at
- 16:40Speaker 4: a bad guy doing bad things saved lives, saved a
- 16:43Speaker 4: lot of lives. A good guy with a gun did
- 16:46Speaker 4: a good thing. That's a real thing that happened. Media
- 16:50Speaker 4: absolutely ignored it because they hate when those things occur.
- 16:53Speaker 4: But that's also why you might not have had as
- 16:55Speaker 4: much policing, or can claim at one point people didn't
- 16:58Speaker 4: even know what policing meant. It's because we could all
- 17:00Speaker 4: protect ourselves more than a whole lot of us can
- 17:03Speaker 4: now because of the crazy policies and rhetoric on the left.
- 17:07Speaker 4: That was number three. I want to do number two.
- 17:10Speaker 4: I just thought this one was funny. It's not so
- 17:12Speaker 4: much a crazy thought that's within the Democratic Socialists of America.
- 17:16Speaker 4: What it actually is to me is what the game
- 17:19Speaker 4: plan probably will be for many of these people that
- 17:22Speaker 4: as soon as they win an election and become someone
- 17:25Speaker 4: or win a primary and become someone who's trying to
- 17:27Speaker 4: win a larger race, that suddenly they're not a Democratic
- 17:30Speaker 4: Socialist anymore. So this is number two in our Democratic
- 17:33Speaker 4: Socialist round up.
- 17:34Speaker 9: So did you let that membership expire because of the
- 17:37Speaker 9: general election?
- 17:40Speaker 17: But no, Oh, it's just because I want to make
- 17:42Speaker 17: clear to my constituents that I'm here to represent them.
- 17:47Speaker 2: So when did you leave the Democratic Socialists of America.
- 17:52Speaker 2: It was within the last month. I let my membership lapse.
- 17:54Speaker 4: Yeah, I let my membership lapse right after I won
- 17:57Speaker 4: a primary race. And I'd like to now out of
- 18:00Speaker 4: as someone who's not an insane idiot and a moron
- 18:02Speaker 4: and someone who's just irrational a person, even though you
- 18:05Speaker 4: can't put that a genie back in the bottle. That
- 18:08Speaker 4: is what I would say in response to them. But
- 18:10Speaker 4: I just think that's amazing. I just think it's sort
- 18:12Speaker 4: of crazy too, that they know that they all want
- 18:16Speaker 4: to do that. A lot of these people who are
- 18:18Speaker 4: winning these races by getting radical leftists to vote for
- 18:21Speaker 4: them all want to pretend to the Democratic Socialists of
- 18:23Speaker 4: America agenda isn't real once they get beyond that state.
- 18:27Speaker 4: And then once they get into a position of power,
- 18:29Speaker 4: they want to do all the horrible things that you
- 18:31Speaker 4: and I are afraid of, but they want to pretend
- 18:33Speaker 4: for a little while, like tall Rico is doing that
- 18:35Speaker 4: they're actually sensible. Here's the number one craziest thing and
- 18:39Speaker 4: Democratic Socialist of America said this person. Francis Hong is
- 18:44Speaker 4: someone who at one point claimed she thought we should
- 18:47Speaker 4: cancel Thanksgiving, and now she's saying she was just kidding
- 18:51Speaker 4: and that it's her favorite holiday, even though before she
- 18:54Speaker 4: said we shouldn't do it because it was a sign
- 18:57Speaker 4: of oppression and murder and all this their crazy stuff.
- 19:01Speaker 4: I just love this so much that she has been
- 19:03Speaker 4: resoundingly criticized for a while for claiming that Thanksgiving needs
- 19:07Speaker 4: to go away, and so you just you just shift
- 19:10Speaker 4: the agenda here.
- 19:10Speaker 18: It is, my favorite holiday is.
- 19:16Speaker 16: Thanksgiving?
- 19:18Speaker 2: What because it?
- 19:20Speaker 9: Yep? It?
- 19:21Speaker 13: I don't want to can it?
- 19:23Speaker 7: I actually love it.
- 19:24Speaker 13: We bring uh Actually it's kind of in laws and
- 19:28Speaker 13: family members and their in laws, and it's a it's
- 19:31Speaker 13: a big event, you know.
- 19:33Speaker 14: I'm I'm just I'm gonna be real.
- 19:35Speaker 16: I'm kind of a curmudgeon when it comes to holidays
- 19:37Speaker 16: in general.
- 19:38Speaker 5: Are you, Ah, Yeah, I already don't care.
- 19:40Speaker 4: I love the fact that she's out there doing that
- 19:42Speaker 4: and everyone's reminding her that she said that we should
- 19:44Speaker 4: cancel Thanksgiving because she thought it was an evil holiday
- 19:46Speaker 4: and a terrible holiday. But apparently she likes it, which
- 19:49Speaker 4: that has to be the funniest part. Like when she
- 19:52Speaker 4: stopped talking when she first went viral, I'm saying that
- 19:56Speaker 4: she wanted Thanksgiving to be canceled completely. I want wonder if,
- 20:00Speaker 4: like the people with her at Thanksgiving that year were
- 20:03Speaker 4: aware of what she said and just looking at her like,
- 20:07Speaker 4: I thought you didn't want to be here, I thought
- 20:08Speaker 4: you didn't want to be a part of this at all?
- 20:11Speaker 4: All right, one last thing that I want to play
- 20:12Speaker 4: as far as audio goes, that I thought was interesting,
- 20:14Speaker 4: that's out there. Jd Vance exposed l said another crazy
- 20:19Speaker 4: radical Democrat who won a race in Michigan, a primary
- 20:22Speaker 4: race in Michigan. President Trump tweeted about or well truth socials,
- 20:27Speaker 4: I should say about how bad that is. Here is
- 20:29Speaker 4: jd Vance in a one on one conversation with Fox
- 20:32Speaker 4: News crapping all over one of the latest crazy far
- 20:36Speaker 4: leftists who's trying to win a race this November.
- 20:38Speaker 2: LUs Well.
- 20:39Speaker 14: I think it says a couple of things.
- 20:40Speaker 18: First of all, the base of the Democratic Party just
- 20:43Speaker 18: wants radicals, that wants these DSA types. It wants people
- 20:46Speaker 18: who hate even the idea of private property ownership. But
- 20:49Speaker 18: it also, I think tells us that that particular set
- 20:53Speaker 18: of ideas is very popular in places you wouldn't expect
- 20:57Speaker 18: because outside, he's this guy who holds himself out as
- 21:00Speaker 18: a working class hero, is a guy who's going to
- 21:02Speaker 18: fight for the working class. How does he fight for
- 21:04Speaker 18: the working class by flooding his state in his country
- 21:08Speaker 18: with low wage immigrants. Of course, those people will drive
- 21:10Speaker 18: down the wages of working with the working class.
- 21:13Speaker 2: And he also doesn't want to do.
- 21:14Speaker 18: Anything to protect the Michigan auto industry. He has fought
- 21:17Speaker 18: against the Trump tariffs that have saved the Michigan auto industry.
- 21:21Speaker 18: So interestingly, as much as the media will pull this
- 21:25Speaker 18: guy out as a socialist, as a guy who's trying
- 21:28Speaker 18: to stand up for the working man, where did they
- 21:29Speaker 18: do the best? He did the best among wealthy white
- 21:34Speaker 18: liberals and among new immigrants to the United States of America.
- 21:38Speaker 18: He basically represents the modern Democratic coalition, which is self
- 21:43Speaker 18: hating white liberals united to people who just came to
- 21:46Speaker 18: the country for the first time and don't actually have
- 21:49Speaker 18: the sense of appreciation for it that they should.
- 21:52Speaker 4: Those are the people now I actually want to jump in,
- 21:54Speaker 4: and I have a different thought about the white liberals
- 21:57Speaker 4: who vote this way that Jdvan. There's a whole lot
- 22:00Speaker 4: of other people describe as self hating, and of course
- 22:04Speaker 4: they should be. I think that's what we should describe
- 22:07Speaker 4: them as, because they're white people who say that white
- 22:09Speaker 4: people are bad. But here's how broken I think the
- 22:12Speaker 4: brain is for someone on the far left. They convince
- 22:16Speaker 4: themselves that they're the exception to the rule, so they
- 22:19Speaker 4: don't count, so they can go out there and say
- 22:21Speaker 4: how much they hate white people, but in the back
- 22:24Speaker 4: of their brain they're thinking, except for myself, like I'm great,
- 22:26Speaker 4: I'm the great one, I'm the best one because I'm
- 22:29Speaker 4: fighting the fight that none.
- 22:30Speaker 5: Of these other whities will fight.
- 22:32Speaker 4: They say that out loud to themselves and then to society,
- 22:36Speaker 4: even though they pretend as though they think that all
- 22:39Speaker 4: white people are terrible, as I said, a couple of
- 22:42Speaker 4: very limited exceptions to said rule, which just makes them
- 22:45Speaker 4: even more arrogant than insane. It just makes them even
- 22:47Speaker 4: crazier on the side of abandoning any sort of rational thought,
- 22:53Speaker 4: a way of thinking. Because I've met these people. I
- 22:56Speaker 4: know these people who think that just saying certain things
- 22:59Speaker 4: out left makes them good and makes them important and
- 23:03Speaker 4: makes them people that we should listen to and people
- 23:06Speaker 4: that you know, matter, and none of that stuff is true.
- 23:09Speaker 4: You actually have to succeed in our society. You have
- 23:11Speaker 4: to do something that people care about, or create some jobs,
- 23:16Speaker 4: or you know, invent something in order to actually call
- 23:19Speaker 4: yourself a success. You can't just scream your thoughts louder
- 23:22Speaker 4: than people and have those thoughts be radical, and have
- 23:25Speaker 4: those thoughts seem as though they're anti you, like, they
- 23:28Speaker 4: almost pretend that they're humble in those moments by saying
- 23:32Speaker 4: that they they basically hate all white people, but they
- 23:34Speaker 4: are in fact the white person. It's just it's so
- 23:37Speaker 4: odd how to hear them say it and to watch
- 23:40Speaker 4: them do it. But I do think that in their
- 23:42Speaker 4: own brain, they don't consider themselves safe self hating because
- 23:45Speaker 4: they're they're the one person in society who deserves to
- 23:49Speaker 4: be removed from the equation and the way they talk
- 23:52Speaker 4: about a race. And I don't know, I don't think
- 23:55Speaker 4: those people are savable. I think they're beyond saving. The
- 23:58Speaker 4: rest of us can get back to a place of
- 24:00Speaker 4: rational thinking, not them. Quick break, A lot coming up.

- 26:45Speaker 4: KSEV seven hundred Am the Voice at Texas. My name
- 26:50Speaker 4: is Craig Collins. Thrilled to be with you, filling in
- 26:52Speaker 4: for Chris Salcedo today. So much stuff out there for
- 26:56Speaker 4: us to discuss. Let's get right to it. Doctor Anthony Fauci.
- 26:59Speaker 4: Day two point zero is today, Doctor Anthony Fauci's fate
- 27:03Speaker 4: will be in the hands of the Senate as they
- 27:05Speaker 4: decide whether or not to hold him in contempt something
- 27:08Speaker 4: that he very obviously is guilty of. You cannot, in fact,
- 27:12Speaker 4: have a legitimate pardon and plead the fifth because you
- 27:15Speaker 4: are not protecting yourself from any level of self incrimination
- 27:19Speaker 4: if you can't be in trouble for anything like It's
- 27:22Speaker 4: that simple. And I think there's two schools of thought
- 27:24Speaker 4: before I play some audio from Fox News on this
- 27:27Speaker 4: are there are people who think that the pardon is
- 27:29Speaker 4: complete crap, because it is because an auto pen signed
- 27:32Speaker 4: something that said that Fauci was immune to any wrongdoing
- 27:36Speaker 4: from twenty fourteen until Biden left the office a couple
- 27:39Speaker 4: of years ago, which is surreal, and he's not the
- 27:43Speaker 4: only one who had those blanket, ridiculously long over arching pardons.
- 27:48Speaker 4: But it also doesn't seem like Biden himself even knew
- 27:50Speaker 4: that they were happening.
- 27:51Speaker 5: So there's a school of thought of people.
- 27:53Speaker 4: That would like to challenge the pardon itself and then
- 27:56Speaker 4: try to hold Fauci responsible for crimes at a federal level.
- 28:00Speaker 4: There are other people, though, who'd like to see the
- 28:02Speaker 4: pardon stay because it means you can hold him in contempt.
- 28:06Speaker 4: And I happen to be more option too, although I
- 28:10Speaker 4: can give you a reason to think that maybe it
- 28:12Speaker 4: won't actually work, But I like the idea of Fauci
- 28:14Speaker 4: going to jail, and you know, telling him that he's
- 28:18Speaker 4: in contempt of Congress is a much quicker path to
- 28:21Speaker 4: him being behind bars for a bit. And just like
- 28:24Speaker 4: in the dark night, when you can see the squealer,
- 28:27Speaker 4: like the Joker can when he's looking at the one
- 28:30Speaker 4: dude who took all the money to China and then
- 28:31Speaker 4: winds up flipping, I think Fauci's a squealer. I think
- 28:34Speaker 4: anything else that's gone on that's bad, that he's connected
- 28:38Speaker 4: to all the money, all the ways in which they
- 28:40Speaker 4: enrich themselves. You put Fauci in jail for a few
- 28:43Speaker 4: days and he starts singing a different tune.
- 28:46Speaker 5: But that's one of the two schools.
- 28:47Speaker 4: I thought, either the pardon is legitimate or it's not,
- 28:50Speaker 4: and then either the pleading of the fifth is legitimate
- 28:52Speaker 4: or it's not, but it can't be both.
- 28:54Speaker 5: Here's how Fox News broke the story.
- 28:57Speaker 24: Rand Pol believes Anthony Fauci isn't cover by his pardon
- 29:01Speaker 24: from former President Biden, and that's why he was required
- 29:05Speaker 24: to answer questions last week rather than invoking the Fifth
- 29:08Speaker 24: Amendment one hundred eleven times.
- 29:12Speaker 12: I mean, why would you need the Fifth Amendment if
- 29:14Speaker 12: all you have to do is come before committee and
- 29:16Speaker 12: not lie.
- 29:17Speaker 5: But I still are remedies. But I can't do it
- 29:20Speaker 5: by myself.
- 29:21Speaker 4: I have to have the help of the Department of
- 29:23Speaker 4: Justice decide that this is something they wish to pursue.
- 29:27Speaker 24: By the book, the full Senate must approve contempt of
- 29:30Speaker 24: Congress and then send a criminal referral to the DOJ
- 29:33Speaker 24: for possible prosecution. But that takes sixty votes to overcome
- 29:37Speaker 24: a filibuster, so Paul will just send the paperwork on
- 29:40Speaker 24: his own. Democrats think that Paul has no case.
- 29:45Speaker 25: There will never be a conviction because there is absolutely
- 29:50Speaker 25: no case based on his invoking his constitutional rights with
- 29:57Speaker 25: good reason, and.
- 29:58Speaker 4: He didn't have good reason all right back in. So
- 30:01Speaker 4: here's the thing. The Democrats are going to tell you
- 30:03Speaker 4: that Fauchi was terrified that he would be tricked into
- 30:07Speaker 4: lying under oath, and that the traps set by Republicans
- 30:11Speaker 4: were so good they were so impossible to predict that
- 30:15Speaker 4: Fauci had to go in and plead the fifth to
- 30:16Speaker 4: stuff like what color is the carpet, so that he
- 30:19Speaker 4: couldn't be tricked into lying, I couldn't be accused of
- 30:22Speaker 4: perjury and then thrown in the hoose gow because it
- 30:24Speaker 4: was all political theater. Now, if that were true, if
- 30:27Speaker 4: Fauchi actually believed that, none of the other times that
- 30:31Speaker 4: he testified in front of Congress, would he have answered
- 30:33Speaker 4: any questions. If he thought he was too stupid to
- 30:36Speaker 4: avoid their traps, too dumb to not put his foot
- 30:40Speaker 4: right in, you know, the bear trap, and I wind
- 30:42Speaker 4: up in jail for a reason that's unfair, then he
- 30:44Speaker 4: would have pled the fifth every single time because it
- 30:47Speaker 4: was all political theater. That's what he often accused ran
- 30:50Speaker 4: Paul of doing when ran Paul would question him. And
- 30:53Speaker 4: there were several moments and I played some of the
- 30:55Speaker 4: audio of Fauci where he said that he'd happily answer
- 30:59Speaker 4: questions in front of Congress because all he had to
- 31:01Speaker 4: do was tell the truth. And then as soon as
- 31:04Speaker 4: the thing happens with the wrong group in charge, and
- 31:07Speaker 4: with the diary out there, that shows how many of
- 31:10Speaker 4: the things he would say are lies under oath, and
- 31:12Speaker 4: how many things he told us during COVID that were
- 31:15Speaker 4: lies that he didn't believe personally or behind closed doors.
- 31:19Speaker 4: Then he had to start pleading the fifth. And it's
- 31:21Speaker 4: even more than that. It's more than the belief that
- 31:24Speaker 4: he was trying to be tricked and had to avoid
- 31:27Speaker 4: political theater. It's that if there's anything that he was
- 31:29Speaker 4: responsible for that is a federal crime, he has a pardon,
- 31:33Speaker 4: so he can't be held accountable to any of that.
- 31:36Speaker 4: So it's an either ours I said, it's to choose
- 31:38Speaker 4: your own adventure in the world of is he guilty
- 31:41Speaker 4: of one thing or is he guilty of another thing?
- 31:45Speaker 4: He can't be guilty of nothing. The President of the
- 31:48Speaker 4: United States and several other people have said that Fauci
- 31:52Speaker 4: seems to be a giant piece of crap, and I agree.
- 31:55Speaker 4: I love that President Trump said he would have fired him.
- 31:58Speaker 4: He dealt with the Fauci that Bite dealt with, who
- 32:01Speaker 4: thought that he was a science come to life. But
- 32:04Speaker 4: he's either contempt of Congress or he's someone who doesn't
- 32:07Speaker 4: have the right to plead the fifth. And we'll see,
- 32:11Speaker 4: we'll see what happens there. We'll see what wrote go.
- 32:13Speaker 4: But I think he will be held in contempt today,
- 32:15Speaker 4: I think it will happen, and then hopefully he gets
- 32:17Speaker 4: thrown in jail and then starts singing like a bird.
- 32:19Speaker 22: All right.
- 32:20Speaker 4: One other thing that I think is interesting that's out
- 32:22Speaker 4: there from the JD. Vans conversation was about Sophie Cunningham.
- 32:26Speaker 4: She has spoken out recently saying that women's sports should
- 32:30Speaker 4: be just for women, which is not and should not
- 32:33Speaker 4: be a controversial take. And to her credit, Sophie Cunningham
- 32:37Speaker 4: a player for the Indiana Fever a WNBA basketball team
- 32:41Speaker 4: that I would not have paid attention to or talked
- 32:43Speaker 4: about at all if not for Caitlin Clark being a
- 32:46Speaker 4: human and a person. But anyway, she's gone as far
- 32:49Speaker 4: as to say like she doesn't hate anybody. She's not
- 32:51Speaker 4: telling anybody how to live their life. She just does
- 32:55Speaker 4: not think that biological men should play women's sports.
- 32:58Speaker 2: That's it.
- 32:58Speaker 5: That's the only thing she doesn't think. Here is the
- 33:01Speaker 5: back and forth with Jdvans.
- 33:03Speaker 18: I just think, look, sometimes when you're courageous in this country,
- 33:06Speaker 18: some of the worst people in the world try to
- 33:08Speaker 18: attack you. What I would tell Sophie and anybody else
- 33:10Speaker 18: is keep speaking your mind. You actually are inspiring a
- 33:13Speaker 18: dozen people for every person that criticizes you, and we
- 33:17Speaker 18: cannot take our country back. We cannot save the United
- 33:19Speaker 18: States of America unless you have people of courage who
- 33:22Speaker 18: are speaking their mind. The thing about courage, Laura, is
- 33:26Speaker 18: it's contagious. When you see one person, even if they
- 33:30Speaker 18: have the mob come after them, one person speak their
- 33:32Speaker 18: mind in a courageous and honest way, it inspires a
- 33:35Speaker 18: lot of people to do the same. So I would
- 33:38Speaker 18: tell Sophie keep going.
- 33:39Speaker 4: Yes, And that's honestly what the left is most terrified about.
- 33:42Speaker 4: They want the right to be quiet. They want you
- 33:44Speaker 4: and I to shut up. They want you and I
- 33:45Speaker 4: to not say anything, to act as though what they
- 33:49Speaker 4: say makes sense or what they believe is the majority opinion.
- 33:52Speaker 4: It's the thing that Rush Lumbaugh talked about all the time,
- 33:55Speaker 4: the silent majority of people out there who need to
- 33:58Speaker 4: stop being silent. I thought it was amazing that the
- 34:02Speaker 4: Indiana Fever had a basketball game. I think it was
- 34:04Speaker 4: against the Seattle Storm or something like. Names for teams
- 34:08Speaker 4: I wouldn't even normally know, but because of politics, more
- 34:11Speaker 4: so than anything else, I know them and people were
- 34:14Speaker 4: booing Sophie every time she touched the basketball, and then
- 34:17Speaker 4: left leaning media exploded that narrative and pushed it further
- 34:22Speaker 4: and further out there because they want you to be afraid.
- 34:25Speaker 4: They want you to breathe afraid of the things you
- 34:27Speaker 4: think and the things you believe, and the things that
- 34:29Speaker 4: you feel like you want to say. If you're standing
- 34:32Speaker 4: next to someone who tells you that men should be
- 34:34Speaker 4: allowed to play women's sports and go into women's bathrooms
- 34:37Speaker 4: and you stay silent, you do that because mainstream media
- 34:40Speaker 4: has convinced you that someone will be mean to you
- 34:43Speaker 4: if you say something rational out loud. And so it's
- 34:47Speaker 4: the kind of thing to me, and I think it's
- 34:49Speaker 4: the kind of thing to many many people out there
- 34:52Speaker 4: that we just start need to addressing face to face.
- 34:56Speaker 4: And if there were anything that I think is a
- 35:00Speaker 4: really good example of this, it was what Robert F.
- 35:02Speaker 4: Kennedy Junior did on television the other day. I don't
- 35:05Speaker 4: know if everybody saw this, I assume a lot of
- 35:07Speaker 4: people did, but it's where he just absolutely torched a
- 35:12Speaker 4: interview person, a person on cable news television that was
- 35:17Speaker 4: trying to tell him how to do certain things and
- 35:21Speaker 4: how to live his life. And what we did and
- 35:24Speaker 4: didn't get wrong during COVID. Just all the typical stuff
- 35:27Speaker 4: that you hear people say and do, and to listen
- 35:31Speaker 4: to Robert IF. Kennedy Junior just push back so hard,
- 35:35Speaker 4: and to also tell mainstream media how much of a
- 35:38Speaker 4: problem they in fact are. It was on CNN, and
- 35:40Speaker 4: I remember now when this happened, because I do still
- 35:42Speaker 4: have the audio.
- 35:44Speaker 5: But I loved.
- 35:45Speaker 4: Everything about this, So I'm gonna play it again because
- 35:48Speaker 4: this is what we need more of in our society.
- 35:50Speaker 4: It doesn't have to just be from people as high
- 35:53Speaker 4: profile as Robert F. Kennedy Junior. This should be what
- 35:56Speaker 4: you say to your family member when they tell you
- 35:59Speaker 4: something in sane and you know that it makes no
- 36:01Speaker 4: sense and you know that it's logically inaccurate, you should
- 36:04Speaker 4: object the way that Robert F.
- 36:05Speaker 5: Munity Junior reacts. Here we go.
- 36:07Speaker 21: You are the HHS secretary and you are talking about
- 36:12Speaker 21: things that that that lead to vaccine hesitancy in this
- 36:16Speaker 21: country and and it is something that causes problems for people.
- 36:22Speaker 21: I mean when there is not anything.
- 36:24Speaker 2: Let me ask you something.
- 36:26Speaker 15: Do you see your job as ending vaccine hesdency or
- 36:30Speaker 15: do you see your job as telling the truth?
- 36:32Speaker 21: Is the American I see my job as telling the truth,
- 36:35Speaker 21: and the truth is that there is is study after
- 36:39Speaker 21: study after study. It's one of the most study things
- 36:42Speaker 21: out there. And science and it is different.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Yes, you read science, but you don't want to you
- 36:51Speaker 2: don't want to hear.
- 36:52Speaker 21: So I'm not debating this view.
- 36:54Speaker 5: Of course you want to know.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Because I'm not.
- 36:58Speaker 15: Repeat things that people to told. You say, trust the experts.
- 37:02Speaker 21: That's what you do.
- 37:03Speaker 2: During COVID.
- 37:04Speaker 15: Now we know that anthy Fauci, who was the expert,
- 37:07Speaker 15: was lying about everything about massive about the social distancing,
- 37:11Speaker 15: about natural immunity, about the transmission from the living vaccine,
- 37:16Speaker 15: about the source of COVID. He was lying, And you
- 37:19Speaker 15: were punishing people for not trusting the experts. And now
- 37:23Speaker 15: you're rolling out the experts. Yes, talk about something that
- 37:26Speaker 15: you have no personal knowledge of.
- 37:29Speaker 4: They're not experts. If they get a lot of stuff wrong, first,
- 37:31Speaker 4: I think that matters. But this is so great, and
- 37:34Speaker 4: I played all of it on my show from six
- 37:36Speaker 4: to seven o'clock here at KSV because of how incredible
- 37:40Speaker 4: it was. A listener, Robert f Unitt, Kennedy Junior, just
- 37:43Speaker 4: lean in and tell Dana Bash how she's hurting America
- 37:46Speaker 4: by just parroting stuff that she's deciding is true without
- 37:50Speaker 4: believing it's true. There's a lot of really arrogant people
- 37:53Speaker 4: in the world we live in. And here's my favorite
- 37:56Speaker 4: example of that, because I had a conversation with a
- 37:58Speaker 4: buddy about this the other day. If you talk to
- 38:00Speaker 4: somebody and they tell you an opinion, and especially if
- 38:03Speaker 4: they do it in a way that you hear here
- 38:05Speaker 4: on CNN, where they seem like they don't really know anything,
- 38:08Speaker 4: they're just repeating what they heard somewhere else. And you
- 38:10Speaker 4: give them a simple fact, just one piece of information,
- 38:13Speaker 4: and you tell them that more information is out there.
- 38:15Speaker 4: They just got to go look, they got to go
- 38:17Speaker 4: do the homework. And the person's response to you is, no,
- 38:20Speaker 4: I don't need any of that information. I know exactly
- 38:22Speaker 4: what I'm talking about.
- 38:23Speaker 5: It's incredible because the Left is willfully stupid.
- 38:27Speaker 4: They're not just dumb, they're not just uninformed. They're doing
- 38:31Speaker 4: it willingly. If someone is offering data and information and
- 38:36Speaker 4: facts that counter their opinion and they cannot listen to them,
- 38:40Speaker 4: hear them, or go look for them themselves, they are
- 38:43Speaker 4: doing something that is antithetical to what I think we're
- 38:47Speaker 4: supposed to be as people. All the curiosities, all the
- 38:50Speaker 4: ways that we use technology today.
- 38:52Speaker 5: To learn things, they refuse it.
- 38:54Speaker 4: And every time I come across somebody on any topic,
- 38:57Speaker 4: it doesn't just have to be politics, where they think
- 39:00Speaker 4: they know a lot of stuff, but they show very
- 39:02Speaker 4: often that they know so little about the thing that
- 39:05Speaker 4: they think they're an expert in. And you give them
- 39:07Speaker 4: a little bit, You're like, well, this is totally different
- 39:10Speaker 4: than what you just said. Their response is well, you're
- 39:12Speaker 4: a jerk, or their response is some version of well
- 39:14Speaker 4: you're still wrong, but they don't go research it themselves,
- 39:18Speaker 4: which is hilarious. Like, I'll give you one last example.
- 39:20Speaker 4: I know we're up against a break. We got to
- 39:21Speaker 4: take a break. I hear a lot of people say
- 39:24Speaker 4: they don't understand the legalities of music on radio versus
- 39:29Speaker 4: the internet, and Dana lash was talking about how her
- 39:32Speaker 4: music doesn't play on her Internet streams. You can google that,
- 39:36Speaker 4: or use whatever social media platform or search engine you want.
- 39:40Speaker 4: You can look up the truth and it takes like
- 39:43Speaker 4: five minutes and then you can read it and then
- 39:45Speaker 4: you can understand it. And so many people don't do it,
- 39:48Speaker 4: and it's so amusing to me, and I know that's
- 39:50Speaker 4: a weird example, but it's the one in my head.
- 39:52Speaker 5: But all right, we got to take a break.
- 39:53Speaker 4: A lot coming up. Craig Collins filling in on the

- 43:12Speaker 4: Yeah, this is the Chris south Stado Show. My name
- 43:16Speaker 4: is Craig Collins, filling in thrilled to be with you.
- 43:20Speaker 4: Toward the end of the show here, I like to
- 43:21Speaker 4: do something very similar to what Dana does and her show.
- 43:24Speaker 4: She calls it the Quick five. I call mine the
- 43:26Speaker 4: Quick four ish, totally different, a very different thing. It's
- 43:29Speaker 4: just fun because you can't talk about serious stuff all
- 43:32Speaker 4: day long, for two hours on the radio or all
- 43:36Speaker 4: the hours all the time, because you go crazy. So
- 43:38Speaker 4: let's talk about some sillier things. There is a viral
- 43:41Speaker 4: video of a guy at a six Flags in Georgia
- 43:44Speaker 4: who is on a Goliath roller coaster when he got
- 43:47Speaker 4: hit in the face by a shoe. The reason I
- 43:49Speaker 4: thought this was funny is that during the roller coaster,
- 43:52Speaker 4: someone else had their shoe fly off, and this guy
- 43:54Speaker 4: gets hit by it. And for some reason, this is
- 43:56Speaker 4: all on camera, so it's obviously a thing that goes viral.
- 43:59Speaker 5: Here's a little bit off.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Oh my god, I got it, I got it.
- 44:03Speaker 9: I caught the show.
- 44:06Speaker 17: In the face and call the.
- 44:07Speaker 4: Shoe bo shoe?
- 44:09Speaker 21: Do I have?
- 44:12Speaker 4: Some girls starts screaming that her shoe was saved. I
- 44:15Speaker 4: love everything about this video and this audio though, because like,
- 44:19Speaker 4: you just get hit by a flying shoe and then
- 44:21Speaker 4: you're immediately proud of yourself that you do the thing
- 44:23Speaker 4: that all of us wanted to do. At a baseball game,
- 44:25Speaker 4: you catch the foul ball while holding the beer, and
- 44:28Speaker 4: like that one guy who was also holding the baby
- 44:30Speaker 4: and he dropped the baby, caught the ball re caught
- 44:32Speaker 4: the baby. Incredible if you haven't seen that. But this
- 44:35Speaker 4: guy is so excited and deserves to be for catching
- 44:38Speaker 4: the shoe that hit him in the floor.
- 44:41Speaker 17: I got it, I got off, I got hit in
- 44:45Speaker 17: the face, and call the shoe bo shoe.
- 44:48Speaker 11: Do I have.
- 44:51Speaker 4: Another thing that's going viral all over the Internet that
- 44:54Speaker 4: I thought was weird and is out there today People
- 44:57Speaker 4: are being reminded of a re old prank show, like
- 45:01Speaker 4: a real hidden camera TV show that almost happened back
- 45:04Speaker 4: in two thousand and six that would have starred OJ Simpson.
- 45:07Speaker 4: It was called Juiced, and he was going to trick
- 45:09Speaker 4: people in all kinds of ways. It's not obviously a
- 45:14Speaker 4: kind of show that we'd probably look back on fondly now,
- 45:17Speaker 4: but it's weird to remember it, and the trailer is
- 45:20Speaker 4: going viral for the old concept of a juiced OJ
- 45:24Speaker 4: Simpson prank television show.
- 45:26Speaker 18: Here we go, so Bronco is one of the major
- 45:28Speaker 18: symbols of this wife's murder.
- 45:31Speaker 2: He's joking about it.
- 45:32Speaker 14: It's a broccyl.
- 45:34Speaker 2: You know I've made this card famous.
- 45:36Speaker 13: There's no way to anybody with half a brain Selle
- 45:38Speaker 13: thought a show about OJ Simpson pranking people would be
- 45:41Speaker 13: a good idea.
- 45:42Speaker 18: You've been juice that's been in a halt for twenty
- 45:45Speaker 18: years telling now the prank show was a front to
- 45:50Speaker 18: get OJ's confession.
- 45:51Speaker 3: Did you get a few cocktails in this guy?
- 45:53Speaker 2: And he becomes a chatty Kathy. He started talking about
- 45:57Speaker 2: the case.
- 45:57Speaker 14: He shouldn't talk about this on camera? Got e roctly
- 46:00Speaker 14: do it?
- 46:01Speaker 2: Can this be the last piece of the puzzle? OJ
- 46:03Speaker 2: had his girlfriend on set.
- 46:05Speaker 13: Think you want to hear what came min eighteen and
- 46:07Speaker 13: o'tato that name?
- 46:08Speaker 14: Turn mccamera OJ Unseen Exploitation of Evil an ID documentary
- 46:12Speaker 14: event September seventh on ID.
- 46:15Speaker 4: So that's the documentary talking about the original show. And
- 46:17Speaker 4: what I think is amazing about that is sometimes I
- 46:20Speaker 4: don't need a thing at all, Like, obviously I don't
- 46:23Speaker 4: think that an O. J.
- 46:24Speaker 5: Simpson prank show from two thousand and six was a
- 46:26Speaker 5: good idea.
- 46:26Speaker 4: It's horrible, But I also don't need the dramatic, over
- 46:30Speaker 4: the top documentary treatment of everything.
- 46:33Speaker 5: We could just have this not exist.
- 46:35Speaker 4: But people are trying to drum up some version of
- 46:37Speaker 4: interest in the OJ conversation in twenty twenty six, because
- 46:41Speaker 4: it's been twenty years since he almost was part of
- 46:44Speaker 4: a television prank show that I can't you know what's
- 46:47Speaker 4: funny to me whenever you talk about these topics where
- 46:50Speaker 4: someone in media came up with just a truly awful idea,
- 46:53Speaker 4: I can't vision what that meeting was like that. God,
- 46:57Speaker 4: is there where someone sitting in a room, maybe they
- 46:59Speaker 4: even like scheduled the meeting for just this topic, is
- 47:03Speaker 4: pitching the OJ prank show choosed, and some executive somewhere
- 47:08Speaker 4: is like, yeah, we should try that.
- 47:09Speaker 5: Yeah, that seems like a real good idea. Why don't
- 47:10Speaker 5: we go ahead and do that.
- 47:12Speaker 4: I can never picture those things, because if I was
- 47:14Speaker 4: in any of those rooms, I would immediately speak up
- 47:17Speaker 4: and say how bad and terrible the entirety of this
- 47:20Speaker 4: idea seems to be, and then they'd all, I imagine,
- 47:23Speaker 4: get really really.
- 47:23Speaker 5: Mad at me.
- 47:24Speaker 4: All Right, one other thing that I do want to
- 47:26Speaker 4: play before we do any other silly stuff, and then
- 47:30Speaker 4: get out of here. Was a conversation about fair goers
- 47:34Speaker 4: at an event in Ohio where apparently AI won a
- 47:39Speaker 4: poster contest and people were very upset. Artificial intelligence is
- 47:43Speaker 4: very successful now in a whole lot of places. The
- 47:46Speaker 4: only problem with AI is once we as humans find
- 47:49Speaker 4: out that something was made by AI, we're much less
- 47:52Speaker 4: happy than we were not knowing that here's a little
- 47:55Speaker 4: bit of that.
- 47:55Speaker 2: It's cool, but I would just much rather see somebody
- 47:58Speaker 2: else's drawing that my not be actually perfect.
- 48:02Speaker 9: I think it undermines the work that goes in to
- 48:05Speaker 9: making art. To h judge it in that way and
- 48:08Speaker 9: reward it as talent or skill, I think is a
- 48:11Speaker 9: disservice to the hard work that everyone else.
- 48:13Speaker 14: Is putting in.
- 48:14Speaker 4: Yeah, because it's not the same thing. Just telling AI
- 48:17Speaker 4: to do stuff is not at all the same thing
- 48:18Speaker 4: as actually creating art yourself.
- 48:21Speaker 5: So I get that.
- 48:21Speaker 4: I believe that I agree with them. It's I think,
- 48:25Speaker 4: just gonna happen more. And part of the reason that
- 48:27Speaker 4: I think, like young people at graduations boo AI or
- 48:31Speaker 4: the idea of AI, is because how it's rapidly evolving
- 48:35Speaker 4: and becoming something that you can use in a myriad
- 48:37Speaker 4: of ways. To be honest, if you go to like
- 48:38Speaker 4: YouTube and you look at any video from anybody, and
- 48:43Speaker 4: I'm not discouraging this, actually we do it too. All
- 48:46Speaker 4: of the thumbnails are now created by AI, and a
- 48:49Speaker 4: whole lot of them look great.
- 48:50Speaker 5: Like they look cool, but.
- 48:51Speaker 4: You can kind of tell because it has a certain
- 48:54Speaker 4: artistic feel that seems very similar. It's one or two faces,
- 48:58Speaker 4: one or two phrases, and then maybe a couple other
- 49:02Speaker 4: things all smushed into a photo together, and it's all
- 49:04Speaker 4: got a very similar design flair to it that you
- 49:08Speaker 4: can tell it's AI. And a lot of people are
- 49:10Speaker 4: doing this because it's just simply cheaper. If you pay
- 49:13Speaker 4: for what chat gpt, it's like twenty bucks, super groc
- 49:16Speaker 4: is like forty, but that's much cheaper than having any
- 49:19Speaker 4: sort of in house designer making things for you. And
- 49:22Speaker 4: my wife is actually a graphic designer. She works here
- 49:25Speaker 4: in Texas at a pretty cool place doing I think,
- 49:28Speaker 4: some pretty cool things. I don't want to tell you
- 49:31Speaker 4: exactly where it is, but she often talks about how
- 49:34Speaker 4: ridiculous it is, even in her profession, to be sent
- 49:37Speaker 4: AI stuff from clients that eventually want a real designer
- 49:41Speaker 4: to fix it, and how much harder that is than
- 49:43Speaker 4: just making something original, because if you're going back and
- 49:46Speaker 4: recreating everything that ay I made in a different program
- 49:50Speaker 4: that a human can use, it takes a lot of
- 49:52Speaker 4: time to do that, and that might be part of
- 49:55Speaker 4: the problem too, is that the amount of people who
- 49:57Speaker 4: make things harder by getting ninety percent of the way
- 50:00Speaker 4: there with AI, but you can't cross that threshold to
- 50:03Speaker 4: one hundred, and then you have to hand it to
- 50:05Speaker 4: somebody who knows how to do it, and they immediately
- 50:08Speaker 4: look at you like why did you do any of
- 50:09Speaker 4: this stuff the way you did it?
- 50:10Speaker 5: Like why is this so broken? And they don't know
- 50:13Speaker 5: because they didn't do it to begin with.
- 50:15Speaker 4: All Right, one last thing that I really like, as
- 50:17Speaker 4: far as topics out there that are sillier. A Men's
- 50:20Speaker 4: Fitness article said that healthy non alcoholic beer is the
- 50:25Speaker 4: next big drink craze that's happening in our society. I
- 50:31Speaker 4: don't understand anything that I just said to you. Non
- 50:34Speaker 4: alcoholic healthy beer. So it tastes like beer, but it's
- 50:38Speaker 4: also got a lot of ingredients in it that make
- 50:40Speaker 4: it good for you, and then it absolutely has no
- 50:42Speaker 4: alcohol in it.
- 50:43Speaker 5: I don't know why you do this.
- 50:45Speaker 4: I don't know what part of me because like, here's
- 50:47Speaker 4: what I'll say about a silly topic like this, like
- 50:50Speaker 4: healthy drinks are better if they don't taste like beer,
- 50:54Speaker 4: and beer is much more delicious if it has alcohol
- 50:56Speaker 4: and great things in it that doesn't make it healthy.
- 50:59Speaker 4: So I don't know why you want to have what
- 51:01Speaker 4: some are describing as a functional alcoholic product like beer,
- 51:05Speaker 4: as something that you're consuming. I don't get what the
- 51:08Speaker 4: draw is. And actually, i'll tell you real quick, just
- 51:10Speaker 4: a quick story. I remember the first time I was
- 51:13Speaker 4: given non alcoholic beer. I was ten, eleven years old.
- 51:18Speaker 4: I had just had a birthday, and my aunt thought
- 51:19Speaker 4: it'd be really funny to convince me that she gave
- 51:22Speaker 4: me real beer. So she brought me like a six
- 51:25Speaker 4: pack of Oduels, gave it to me on the side
- 51:27Speaker 4: when my mom wasn't looking, and told me that I
- 51:30Speaker 4: was a man eleven twelve, however old I was, because
- 51:33Speaker 4: she was.
- 51:34Speaker 5: Giving me beer.
- 51:35Speaker 4: I remember I ran upstairs to my room thinking that
- 51:38Speaker 4: the coolest gift was ever given to me, because my
- 51:40Speaker 4: grandpa would drink beer and I thought he was cool.
- 51:43Speaker 4: And I remember opening one, sipping it and thinking it
- 51:45Speaker 4: was absolutely disgusting, and then hiding it in my room
- 51:49Speaker 4: for like a month before my aunt told my mom
- 51:53Speaker 4: that she gave me fake beer. I never went back
- 51:55Speaker 4: and tried it again because it was terrible and I
- 51:57Speaker 4: didn't like it as a little kid. But I just
- 51:59Speaker 4: remember how cool I felt for a moment, like the
- 52:01Speaker 4: adulthood aspect of it. And I wonder if that's what
- 52:04Speaker 4: like the twenty something millennials or the twenty something gen
- 52:07Speaker 4: zers are feeling when they drink this non alcoholic, healthy beer,
- 52:11Speaker 4: like they're participating in adulthood some way, somehow. That does
- 52:15Speaker 4: not make sense to me at all, And actually, kind of,
- 52:18Speaker 4: as said, like a little bit of me, if I
- 52:20Speaker 4: saw somebody do this, if a buddy of mine asked
- 52:22Speaker 4: for one of these at the bar, a lot of
- 52:25Speaker 4: judgment would be happening over here, a lot of feelings
- 52:27Speaker 4: of man, we're never getting a drink together again, because
- 52:31Speaker 4: I can handle a lot of things as far as
- 52:33Speaker 4: what you consume. I don't think I can watch you
- 52:35Speaker 4: do that. And I'm not gonna watch you have like
- 52:37Speaker 4: a veggie burger either.
- 52:39Speaker 5: This is Texas.
- 52:40Speaker 4: Darn it all right, Thank you everybody for tuning in today.
- 52:43Speaker 4: I am back tomorrow. Greg Collins filling in on the
