- 0:15Speaker 1: take some calls. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 0:18Speaker 1: ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 0:22Speaker 1: seven ten. Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave, how
- 0:24Speaker 1: you doing?
- 0:26Speaker 2: Good morning, Mark, I'm doing very well. Thank you, Mark.
- 0:29Speaker 2: According to a financial services company survey, their report says
- 0:34Speaker 2: nearly forty percent of Americans admit that they have gone
- 0:37Speaker 2: on a date to obtain a free meal, and the
- 0:41Speaker 2: cost is approximately ninety five dollars on the first date.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Not lastly, Mark, if it was me, I don't care.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I would take them to Patsy's. Well, Patsy's is a
- 0:53Speaker 1: great restaurant, a very impressive place for a first date.
- 0:58Speaker 1: But there are I guess that would go out just
- 1:01Speaker 1: for the free meal. But what are you gonna do?
- 1:04Speaker 1: I mean, I don't blame him. I mean, uh, I'm
- 1:09Speaker 1: editing my jokes here, so uh. But it's a good point, Dave.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Thanks for calling. If any woman wants to call and
- 1:15Speaker 1: admit to that, but it works the other way. There
- 1:18Speaker 1: are plenty of men who are like Jiggilo's go out
- 1:20Speaker 1: with some wealthy old woman just for the free everything.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Let's go to Rob in Franklin Square. Rob.
- 1:27Speaker 3: How you doing good, Mark? Good morning? Yeah. Springstein, he's
- 1:32Speaker 3: always been he's always been political. You remember the forty
- 1:36Speaker 3: one shots with the with the unfortunate shooting of Amadel Dielo.
- 1:40Speaker 3: You know, you try to blast the local. It was
- 1:42Speaker 3: a tragic accident, you know, accidental shooting. But he's always
- 1:47Speaker 3: he's always been political. He jump on a bag and vandwagon.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Thank you police and all that.
- 1:51Speaker 1: All right, thanks for calling. Yeah, listen a lot of singers,
- 1:54Speaker 1: something's in the news. George Floyd, Yeah, yeah, George Floyd
- 1:57Speaker 1: is you know, you throw it in there for ten seconds.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Score political points with that. But when Springsteen yesterday went
- 2:03Speaker 1: into the six minute that's a long time six minute
- 2:07Speaker 1: rant about Trump, it sounded like he really, really, really
- 2:11Speaker 1: really is nuts. I mean, he's not the brightest guy
- 2:13Speaker 1: in the world. He can be a brilliant musician and
- 2:16Speaker 1: songwriter and not be that bright. You just have I
- 2:19Speaker 1: don't want to measure names, but some of the greatest
- 2:21Speaker 1: songwriters they weren't the brightest guy. They just had an
- 2:24Speaker 1: incredible gift for writing music. Let's go to doctor Bob,
- 2:29Speaker 1: great surgeon in Long Island. Doctor Bob, how you doing?
- 2:33Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:33Speaker 4: Hi, Mark, I was looking enough to see Bruce Blakeman
- 2:36Speaker 4: in the Memorial Day parade at Greednick Little Knick area.
- 2:40Speaker 4: He was fantastic with the crowd, presented very well, very
- 2:43Speaker 4: warm greeting, some welcome the people there. Swazi did not
- 2:48Speaker 4: get that kind of reception and there was no one
- 2:50Speaker 4: else was any great statue that was in that parade, which.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Is Swaz's a nice guy. I mean he's not the
- 2:56Speaker 1: worst Democrat, but Bruce Blakeman has become quite quite a
- 2:59Speaker 1: powerful states quite a speaker.
- 3:02Speaker 4: He's the real deal. Also, we went to a golf
- 3:04Speaker 4: outing some of my friends that page for Bruce Blakeman
- 3:09Speaker 4: and big turnout. He was terrific. He really is the
- 3:12Speaker 4: whole packt that she really is a great guy and
- 3:14Speaker 4: that's great plans for the states.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Yeah, perfect choice for governor. Everybody get out there, help
- 3:19Speaker 1: Bruce Blakeman become governor. And thanks for calling, and he'd
- 3:24Speaker 1: be he'd be great. Let's go to uh Linda in
- 3:27Speaker 1: Long Island. Linda how you doing.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Are you doing?
- 3:32Speaker 1: No?
- 3:32Speaker 2: No, no, it's time.
- 3:33Speaker 1: No wait let me, it's are you? Are you?
- 3:38Speaker 4: It's been a while, Okay, you missed it.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:41Speaker 4: Do you remember when Leslie Still was written up about
- 3:45Speaker 4: how she followed the politicians into the men's room. Do
- 3:49Speaker 4: you remember that?
- 3:50Speaker 1: Yeah? You do, Yeah, yeah, she's Oh my god, it
- 3:55Speaker 1: was a while back.
- 3:55Speaker 4: I didn't know if you remember it.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Yeah. She used to be with CBS News, like you know, reporter,
- 4:00Speaker 1: I'm like the evening News. Well million years ago, that's
- 4:04Speaker 1: what she did. She was pretty nice back then, and
- 4:06Speaker 1: then she gets into sixty minutes and part of it
- 4:09Speaker 1: is they are crazy. Part of it is the culture
- 4:11Speaker 1: of fake news. You got to act great, Yeah, you
- 4:15Speaker 1: got to act crazier and crazier. All right, thanks for
- 4:18Speaker 1: calling you. But that's a lot of reporters. They are
- 4:20Speaker 1: the pushiest people in the world. You know, if you
- 4:24Speaker 1: go back a million years, it was always a little slanted.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Walter Cronkite, he was little to the left, you know,
- 4:32Speaker 1: slightly on the air on there, slightly to the left
- 4:35Speaker 1: on the air. Yeah, maybe sticking to the adjective that
- 4:38Speaker 1: sounded a little prejudicial, but he kept it pretty straight.
- 4:43Speaker 1: And I knew Walter Kronkite in real life. In real
- 4:45Speaker 1: life he was a very very liberal guy, but you
- 4:49Speaker 1: kept it quiet on the air, and then everything changed.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I guess with Dan Rather, he's like the grandfather of
- 4:55Speaker 1: today's fake news. Remember he faked that whole Bush one
- 4:58Speaker 1: a wall with the fake doc couments, with the forged documents.
- 5:01Speaker 1: CBS eventually fired him over that, and then that kind
- 5:06Speaker 1: of changed the whole game. And then when Trump came along,
- 5:08Speaker 1: they just said, we're taking the gloves off. Well, lie,
- 5:11Speaker 1: will make up anything. We'll claim there was Russian collusion.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Will make up any preposterous story and push it. Nobody
- 5:18Speaker 1: pushed that Russian collusion fake story more than Stephen Colbert.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Give him credit for that. Let's go to Joe in
- 5:25Speaker 1: Elmwood Park.
- 5:27Speaker 5: Good morning, Mark, Yes, Steve Moore and your last course.
- 5:33Speaker 5: We lost Budwiser and Newark. We just lost after seventy
- 5:37Speaker 5: five years of the brewery, Budweiser, Anheuser Bush and Nowark
- 5:42Speaker 5: and another thing. God bless Mark. Wayne Mullen. Yeah, we
- 5:45Speaker 5: got a million. He's doing a good job. We got
- 5:48Speaker 5: a million illegals in New Jersey, maybe more.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Well, yeah, he's getting plenty of them rounded up, and
- 5:54Speaker 1: you start with the worst. You start with the rapists,
- 5:56Speaker 1: you start with the murderers, you start with the gang members,
- 5:58Speaker 1: you start with the drug dealer. You start with them
- 6:01Speaker 1: and get them in detention and then get them the
- 6:03Speaker 1: hell out of the country. It's an amazing thing. I
- 6:06Speaker 1: never thought you'd never lived to see politicians chase businesses
- 6:10Speaker 1: out of a state. From Budweiser at Exon Leave in
- 6:12Speaker 1: New Jersey. I mean, if you claim to love tax revenue,
- 6:17Speaker 1: these are the biggest payers of tax revenue, why would
- 6:20Speaker 1: you chase them out Besides paying more tax revenue, in fact,
- 6:23Speaker 1: they pay most of it, most of the tax revenues
- 6:26Speaker 1: paid by these businesses. Not only that, they're the employers,
- 6:28Speaker 1: They create all the jobs. So it's absolutely crazy that
- 6:32Speaker 1: they chase them out of a state. Absolutely That's why
- 6:35Speaker 1: you got to give guys like Chuck Schumer credit. You know,
- 6:38Speaker 1: he's the opposite. You got a business, here's my sall number,
- 6:41Speaker 1: call me anytime you need anything, and in exchange for
- 6:44Speaker 1: massive donations, he takes care of every business. But today's
- 6:48Speaker 1: new Democrats, I just want you going. They want you
- 6:50Speaker 1: to close up, fire everybody and leave Hey, when we
- 6:53Speaker 1: come back, the very funny Jimmy Fayla who's on WOR
- 6:58Speaker 1: every night nine to midnight, great show of night. Uh,
- 7:01Speaker 1: we'll talk to him next on seven ten WOR
