  Speaker 1: do this every year. I realize that it's a new year.

  Speaker 1: That's number one, it's a new day that's number two,

  Speaker 1: and it's time to really reevaluate things in my life.

  Speaker 1: This is how I do it, amen, And I still

  Speaker 1: make resolutions and I know this is you know, some
• 0:35
  Speaker 1: ideas of our resolutions new year resolutions that even myself,
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: I'm like skeptical about it, like, nah, I'm not going
• 0:42
  Speaker 1: to do that, but I do it anyway. I don't
• 0:46
  Speaker 1: really go all out publicly to do them, but I
• 0:49
  Speaker 1: do them just to show that, you know, what last year,
• 0:54
  Speaker 1: what happened last year and during the year, all during
• 0:57
  Speaker 1: the year that we got to share, by the way
• 0:59
  Speaker 1: together during the year on these Morning DeVos. So thank

  Speaker 1: that people come and we spend some time together, devotes

  Speaker 1: some time together. So that's a blessing. So I look

  Speaker 1: at the blessings. I look at the good times, the

  Speaker 1: bad times, everything in between that. Amen. And I look
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: at myself and I say, how can I improve or
• 1:23
  Speaker 1: how can I set goals? Or how can I make
• 1:25
  Speaker 1: a resolution for the new year? What should I do?
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: What can I improve on? What did God do in
• 1:31
  Speaker 1: my life? How do I give God more glory? Amen?

  Speaker 1: Because He's the one who gets the glory on or
• 1:36
  Speaker 1: worship and praise, and ultimately, how do I reach more
• 1:40
  Speaker 1: souls for the Lord. That's the way my thinking pattern
• 1:43
  Speaker 1: is every year, so you can set goals and make
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: commitments to improve yourself in a godly way. It doesn't
• 1:50
  Speaker 1: just have to be the way the world wants you
• 1:53
  Speaker 1: to improve. You know, the world wants you to buy
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: this drink, that smoke this, get with this person, get
• 2:00
  Speaker 1: with that person. The world wants you to do what
• 2:03
  Speaker 1: satisfies the flesh. I think we could do in a
• 2:06
  Speaker 1: godly resolution way, what we could do well, We could
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: improve on who we are right by way of God's word.
• 2:16
  Speaker 1: God's word will elevate us. God's word would improve our
• 2:19
  Speaker 1: lives God's word would impact our lives more powerfully than
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: anything the world offers. The temptation is though, to follow
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: the world patterns and to leave the Kingdom. The Kingdom
• 2:31
  Speaker 1: of God, Amen, is in the forefront of every believer.
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: Seek the Kingdom first. That's the first thing, and everything
• 2:39
  Speaker 1: else will be added on to us. In other words,
• 2:41
  Speaker 1: all the blessings, the promises, the word, the authority, the
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: power of the annoyed thing, the visions, the dreams, the
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: prophetic word right will be added onto us because it's
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: Kingdom principles. So there is a way to make a
• 2:59
  Speaker 1: New York resolution that is golly, Amen, We're gonna be
• 3:02
  Speaker 1: in two scriptures today, Galatians chapter five twenty two to
• 3:06
  Speaker 1: twenty three, one of my favorite scriptures in the Bible
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: and the New Testament, and Second Peter chapter three eighteen,
• 3:11
  Speaker 1: another one that I look at often. These two scriptures
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: really have changed my life, Amen, in so many different
• 3:17
  Speaker 1: ways that I can't even begin to describe. Those two
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: scriptures change it my ways, Amen, and changing my attitude,
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: changing my life, changing my lifestyle, Amen, my mindset all
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: through the scriptures. I'm sorry, I'm looking down forgot to

  Speaker 1: share this shoot a group to make sure they know

  Speaker 1: that we're alive. Give me one second and it'll take

  Speaker 1: God that before the new year sets in our calendar.

  Speaker 1: I know, Lord, God, that you're an infinite God, that
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: you sit outside of time, but you reveal yourself in
• 4:30
  Speaker 1: our time as well, an incredible, amazing God that you
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: are I praise you, Little God, and thank you, Lord
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: God for every single day that you allowed me to
• 4:39
  Speaker 1: come all live, to live and to breathe again, to
• 4:42
  Speaker 1: see my family grow, my daughters grow, and to see
• 4:45
  Speaker 1: another day in my marriage, and my family members who
• 4:48
  Speaker 1: are young and old and everybody in between. I thank
• 4:51
  Speaker 1: you for keeping them this year and blessing them. I
• 4:54
  Speaker 1: pray I Head of protection over them, over myself, my wife,
• 4:57
  Speaker 1: our families, our children, both sides of our family members,
• 5:02
  Speaker 1: from the youngest to the oldest, and everyone in between.

  Speaker 1: And I pray that's the very same prayer over every
• 5:08
  Speaker 1: single person that's watching and listening right now. And I

  Speaker 1: really mean it. Lo God help me, Lord God, help

  Speaker 1: others in a way that will blow the mind of
• 5:17
  Speaker 1: the world that they see a ministry with not so
• 5:22
  Speaker 1: much resources, not a lot of support, but a God
• 5:26
  Speaker 1: who promised to save and to seek the loss and
• 5:29
  Speaker 1: to provide and to give us an opportunity to reach
• 5:33
  Speaker 1: souls with his message, the Gospel message, the good News
• 5:36
  Speaker 1: of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let them see your power,
• 5:39
  Speaker 1: your glory, your wisdom, your annoy thing holy Spirit. Move
• 5:43
  Speaker 1: us into a higher dimension this year, and by the
• 5:47
  Speaker 1: time we get into the new year, will be running
• 5:50
  Speaker 1: and running after you. Lor God, Thank you LogD for

  Speaker 1: your just your being who you are in the lives
• 5:57
  Speaker 1: of every single whosoever is to call upon your name
• 5:59
  Speaker 1: to be saved. So I speak life concerning all things living,

  Speaker 1: and I speak death to those things that try to
• 6:05
  Speaker 1: come against our life. In the powerful name of Jesus,

  Speaker 1: we dispatch our queen angels, ministering angels, warning angels to
• 6:12
  Speaker 1: annihilate the tactics of the enemy over every single life
• 6:15
  Speaker 1: connected and will connect now or connected now or connected
• 6:18
  Speaker 1: later in Jesus Holy name, my prayers by faith and
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: all those who agree, we say amen to that. Amen.

  Speaker 1: kind of throw some people off who are just relying

  Speaker 1: on messages and live streams like this and Bible studies

  Speaker 1: like this, money DeVos like this. So I feel responsible

  Speaker 1: if somebody is listening or watching right now and I'm
• 8:45
  Speaker 1: taking things out of context, I feel responsible for that

  Speaker 1: because I think I have to make sure that I'm
• 8:51
  Speaker 1: reading sound doctrine, teaching sound doctrine. Amen. We're meditating on
• 8:55
  Speaker 1: the Word of God together, So God's going to inspire us.

  Speaker 1: He's going to cover that Amen, in our lives. But

  Speaker 1: we have to be seeking after His words, seeking after truth.

  Speaker 1: So Amen. So if you find me a little bit off,

  Speaker 1: correct me. Amen, in love, correct me. I'm trying my

  Speaker 1: best to understand God's word just like you are, Amen.

  Speaker 1: And what happens is if we just follow the norms
• 9:19
  Speaker 1: and the kind of like traditional teachings, we'll probably get
• 9:23
  Speaker 1: thrown off a little bit, and then we have to
• 9:24
  Speaker 1: get back on on track. My Holy Spirit is so
• 9:27
  Speaker 1: good that he will lead us into all truth as
• 9:30
  Speaker 1: long as we keep him in the forefront of our
• 9:33
  Speaker 1: mind and of our lives. Amen. So that's just a
• 9:35
  Speaker 1: disclaimer there just in case I go off on tangents
• 9:39
  Speaker 1: sometimes forgive me first and foremost. It's just said. I
• 9:42
  Speaker 1: want people to understand that they have the same word
• 9:45
  Speaker 1: available to them as well. Amen. And if they allow
• 9:49
  Speaker 1: God to speak the Word through their lives, through their
• 9:52
  Speaker 1: lives a man, I believe we have a transformed mind
• 9:55
  Speaker 1: and a transform heart by way of His Holy Spirit,
• 9:58
  Speaker 1: by way of His word. Resolutions, let me get this

  Speaker 1: on the screen for those who are listening only, it's

  Speaker 1: all good. I'm gonna read a word for words, so
• 10:06
  Speaker 1: you're not gonna miss anything, Amen, other than the image
• 10:10
  Speaker 1: not being on the screen because you're just listening. And

  Speaker 1: it's powerful audios, powerful audios here to stay. Amen. Jesus

  Speaker 1: is gonna come back and an audio is still gonna

  Speaker 1: be going on. And believe audio is an internal gift

  Speaker 1: from God that we could listen and understand what we're

  Speaker 1: listening to. Amen. So let's go for a New York

  Speaker 1: resolution resolutions, because it could be more than one, and

  Speaker 1: most times it's more than one. Obviously, a lot of
• 10:36
  Speaker 1: people like especially me, I'll write them down. I'll look
• 10:40
  Speaker 1: at them during the year, Amen, to see where I'm at.
• 10:43
  Speaker 1: But I don't jump off a cliff if I don't
• 10:46
  Speaker 1: reach the goals, as long as they're golly goals. Amen,
• 10:50
  Speaker 1: I'll strive harder for that than anything that is kind
• 10:54
  Speaker 1: of like worldly. Right. Galatians five Versus twenty two and
• 10:59
  Speaker 1: twenty three. Shot the five twenty two and twenty three.

  Speaker 1: The Bible says, but the fruit of the Spirit is,
• 11:05
  Speaker 1: and this is the nine. Amen. And I live by
• 11:08
  Speaker 1: this as best and as possible as I can. But
• 11:12
  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit is this daily in your life if you
• 11:15
  Speaker 1: are born again. The fruit of the Spirit is what
• 11:18
  Speaker 1: first of all love, joy, peace, forbearans, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,
• 11:27
  Speaker 1: and self control. Against such things, there is no law
• 11:35
  Speaker 1: against what things. The nine that we said we just
• 11:39
  Speaker 1: read it was the fruit of the spirit. Notice that
• 11:42
  Speaker 1: it's a fruit. The fruits, not fruits, but fruit of
• 11:46
  Speaker 1: the Spirit is all inside. It's like a gift that
• 11:51
  Speaker 1: God gave us by way of Holy Spirit, that has
• 11:54
  Speaker 1: all the goodness of this scripture in us. And against
• 11:58
  Speaker 1: such things there is no law. So men, engine making
• 12:02
  Speaker 1: and setting your mind, you know, making your mind up,
• 12:05
  Speaker 1: setting your mind on these things, and say, Lord, I
• 12:08
  Speaker 1: want to live in love, I want to live by joy,
• 12:10
  Speaker 1: and peace. I want forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithful, you know
• 12:14
  Speaker 1: what I mean, gentleness and self control, self control. I think,
• 12:18
  Speaker 1: at least for me, it's the biggest thing to keep
• 12:21
  Speaker 1: away from activating things of the flesh. If I have
• 12:28
  Speaker 1: self control, the flesh really doesn't have any chance. But
• 12:31
  Speaker 1: if I lack self control, it's going to be hard
• 12:35
  Speaker 1: for me to reach all this other, all the other
• 12:37
  Speaker 1: gift the food of the Spirit. Excuse me, Like, I
• 12:41
  Speaker 1: want to walk in love, so I have to have
• 12:43
  Speaker 1: self control. I want to have joy, I have to
• 12:44
  Speaker 1: have self control. Peace, I have to have self control. Forbearance,
• 12:47
  Speaker 1: I have to have self control, kindness, I have to
• 12:49
  Speaker 1: have self control. So, in other words, you can't just
• 12:51
  Speaker 1: pick and choose a couple of these and say you
• 12:54
  Speaker 1: have the food of the Spirit. My resolution is to
• 12:57
  Speaker 1: have all of them functioning and active at the same time,
• 13:00
  Speaker 1: because I have Holy Spirit, right, and Holy Spirit walks
• 13:03
  Speaker 1: this way, Holy Spirit talks this way, Holy Spirit moves
• 13:07
  Speaker 1: this way. Holy Spirit is this way. Holy Spirit is
• 13:11
  Speaker 1: the fruit Amen that we can enjoy on a day
• 13:14
  Speaker 1: to day amazing right, we have this as believers in Christ.

  Speaker 1: Tewod Peter Chapter three, verse eighteen Bible says, rather, you
• 13:23
  Speaker 1: must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord
• 13:28
  Speaker 1: and savior, Jesus Christ. All glory goes to who, all

  Speaker 1: glory to him, both when now and forever more. Amen,
• 13:38
  Speaker 1: So listen, give God the glory as we're growing. Right,
• 13:43
  Speaker 1: We're not supposed to say stay the same. So in
• 13:45
  Speaker 1: other words, if you got saved ten hours ago, ten
• 13:48
  Speaker 1: years ago, twenty thirty, forty years ago, you're going to
• 13:51
  Speaker 1: see a difference. Amen, from the time that you were
• 13:54
  Speaker 1: saved to this present day right now. It should be
• 13:57
  Speaker 1: a difference in your life. It should be your hunger
• 14:00
  Speaker 1: should be for the word. Amen. Now people are gonna say, oh,
• 14:04
  Speaker 1: you gotta get over religious. Listen, you can say whatever
• 14:06
  Speaker 1: you want. I don't think this is a religion. I
• 14:09
  Speaker 1: think this has to be. It's basis and foundation is
• 14:12
  Speaker 1: in a relationship with a savior, with a king, with
• 14:15
  Speaker 1: a Lord with God. Amen. My relationship grows in the
• 14:20
  Speaker 1: grace and knowledge and show and it shows up in
• 14:25
  Speaker 1: times where I'll be like I need you God. And
• 14:28
  Speaker 1: then the growth and grace and knowledge is available not
• 14:31
  Speaker 1: only to me but to you as well. And where
• 14:34
  Speaker 1: do you find this growth, Well, you find it in
• 14:36
  Speaker 1: the Lord and the Savior, the Lord Jesus. But who
• 14:41
  Speaker 1: gets the glory for this growth? Him? He gets it?
• 14:45
  Speaker 1: How how many like during the calendar year. Does it
• 14:48
  Speaker 1: just get it like in December twenty fifth or on
• 14:51
  Speaker 1: Easter Sunday. No, he gets it both now and forever. Amen. Right,
• 14:55
  Speaker 1: So this is something that we have, these two scriptures.
• 14:57
  Speaker 1: You put put these two together. That's a great way
• 15:00
  Speaker 1: to end off the year and start a new year
• 15:02
  Speaker 1: a man knowing that we can grow, knowing that we
• 15:05
  Speaker 1: have the fruit of the spirit available to us a man.
• 15:08
  Speaker 1: So we don't have to force nothing. We don't have
• 15:10
  Speaker 1: to make things up. We don't have to be over spiritual,
• 15:12
  Speaker 1: we don't have to be over religious. It's not about Churchianity.
• 15:15
  Speaker 1: It's not about church culture. It's about the Kingdom culture.
• 15:19
  Speaker 1: It's about God. It's about his grace, his mercy, his love,
• 15:22
  Speaker 1: his kindness. Is about moving in holy spirit. It's about
• 15:26
  Speaker 1: taking your position that you're already seated in a heavy
• 15:29
  Speaker 1: places according to the Word of God. So we don't
• 15:32
  Speaker 1: have to force things. Like I always say, we don't
• 15:34
  Speaker 1: have to make things up. There's no gimmicks about being
• 15:37
  Speaker 1: a born again believer. There is a God who responds
• 15:40
  Speaker 1: a man to his word first and foremost. Amen. And
• 15:43
  Speaker 1: he's available daily, he's available moment by the moment. He's
• 15:47
  Speaker 1: available in a time of need. He's there in the
• 15:50
  Speaker 1: mountaintop experience. He's there in the pit when we're in
• 15:53
  Speaker 1: the valley. For whatever reason. Amen, we're being tested by God.
• 15:58
  Speaker 1: We're not being tempted by God sell faith, and by
• 16:03
  Speaker 1: the testing our faith we endure and endurance, Man, is
• 16:08
  Speaker 1: a good thing. Endurance allows others to see in the spirit,
• 16:14
  Speaker 1: or they see what they can't see physically, but they
• 16:18
  Speaker 1: see in the spirit what God is doing in the
• 16:20
  Speaker 1: life of a transformed individual man or woman or a
• 16:24
  Speaker 1: girl right, both young and old and everything in between.
• 16:28
  Speaker 1: So we have a way that we could live golly life. Amen.
• 16:34
  Speaker 1: And it's a beautiful life. In New Year's resolution or
• 16:38
  Speaker 1: New year resolutions, Amen, I think could be golly if
• 16:42
  Speaker 1: we place our whole faith, trust and God's word first
• 16:45
  Speaker 1: and foremost, and move accordingly. And we don't have to
• 16:48
  Speaker 1: jump over hurdles, We don't have to prove nothing, we
• 16:50
  Speaker 1: don't have to wear things that are expensive just for
• 16:53
  Speaker 1: I was just telling a brother yesterday. Amen, we were
• 16:55
  Speaker 1: going through some things in my garage. He was picking
• 16:58
  Speaker 1: something up. We have some things that would donate it
• 17:02
  Speaker 1: to the ministry, you know, shoes and stuff like that.
• 17:06
  Speaker 1: We were looking through them and I said, man, I'll
• 17:08
  Speaker 1: rock these like these. These are cool, brand new. They
• 17:11
  Speaker 1: were brand new in the package and everything. And his
• 17:13
  Speaker 1: wife was like, I'll do starting tomorrow. I said, ain't
• 17:17
  Speaker 1: no shame of my game. A man. I'm not into
• 17:19
  Speaker 1: buying shoes that cost three four hundred, five hundred dollars
• 17:23
  Speaker 1: just for somebody to come up to me and say, oh,
• 17:25
  Speaker 1: those are cool and walk away. I get nothing out
• 17:27
  Speaker 1: of it. Shout out to all the people who could
• 17:30
  Speaker 1: do that, A man. If we want to spend four
• 17:32
  Speaker 1: or five hundred dollars on a pair of sneakers or shoes,
• 17:35
  Speaker 1: a man, just so that way people would say, hey,
• 17:38
  Speaker 1: those are nice, where'd you get them? Or I noticed
• 17:41
  Speaker 1: that when people do that, the trend is everybody else
• 17:44
  Speaker 1: has them. I like to get things that really a
• 17:46
  Speaker 1: lot of people don't have, So I keep everything on
• 17:50
  Speaker 1: a low budget kind of thing, as long as it
• 17:52
  Speaker 1: looks good. I was blessed by my mother in love.

  Speaker 1: Just sweater amen, and I wear I wear it like
• 17:58
  Speaker 1: there's no label. No check mark. No, you know, there's
• 18:02
  Speaker 1: no branding on it, but I like it, so I
• 18:05
  Speaker 1: wear it. I think we should be that way, humble
• 18:08
  Speaker 1: ourselves and be that way, be grateful for every single
• 18:11
  Speaker 1: thing that we have. Use everything that we have. Amen.

  Speaker 1: We have clothing, we have shoes, we have pants, and listen,
• 18:19
  Speaker 1: we're dignating and pride, like, be proud of what you have, Amen,

  Speaker 1: because there's places and people around the world a man
• 18:27
  Speaker 1: that don't have what we have right now. So I'm
• 18:30
  Speaker 1: grateful for every single thing I have. So one of
• 18:33
  Speaker 1: my New Year resolutions is to be humble. Amen, And
• 18:38
  Speaker 1: I don't I'm not a showboat. When the world I
• 18:40
  Speaker 1: used to be kind of a show boat, but when
• 18:41
  Speaker 1: I got saved, I realized that that was like kind
• 18:45
  Speaker 1: of not like corny to me, Like why was I
• 18:48
  Speaker 1: so show offy? Amen? Why was I, you know, flaunting
• 18:53
  Speaker 1: this and flaunting that, and why was you know I
• 18:56
  Speaker 1: was in the world. I was following the trends of
• 18:59
  Speaker 1: the world, customers of the world, the traditions of the world,
• 19:03
  Speaker 1: the patterns of the world. But then Romans twelve came
• 19:06
  Speaker 1: into my life, Amen, and I've been transformed by the
• 19:09
  Speaker 1: renewing of what my mind not following the patterns of
• 19:13
  Speaker 1: this world anymore. It's old. The patterns of this world
• 19:16
  Speaker 1: is old if you realize it, right, So make a
• 19:18
  Speaker 1: new yr resolutions. One of your resolutions could be I'm
• 19:22
  Speaker 1: not following the patterns of this world anymore. I'm going
• 19:24
