Today we're getting to Chapter 7 from the book of Daniel.

It's taken me quite a while to get ready for this podcast

because there was so much that I was researching and honestly, I

did not come to a conclusion on this other than I really believe

that this chapter is talking about spiritual things and

spiritual things basically manifesting and I will give

reasons for that found in scripture.

I'm also going to give everyone what my study Bible says about

it. There have just been so many

different interpretations of this and I think we all must

approach prophecy very humbly because everybody is so set on

whatever they were taught. Like this is it, this is what it

means. But I think we just need to look

at the overall message that's in it.

We, I don't know that we're going to actually identify all

of this or, and if we do identify this, it'll probably be
1:15
falsely because it probably won't be the truth of what it

really is. But I think to just review all

of this. And the, the over lying message

to me that I get from this is that we need the Holy Spirit.

We need the Holy Spirit to stand against anything like this that

comes in the future, which has been prophesied and the Holy

Spirit is strong. The Holy Spirit is from God and

will allow us to overcome or resist anything that we face in

the future. So I think that is the most

important thing. And just like again, what Jesus

said was that no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless they

are born of the Spirit, unless we receive the Holy Spirit.

So we need the Holy Spirit in so many different ways, but

especially when it when we look at what prophecy tells us is to

come. Anyway, before we get started in

this I want to say a quick prayer.

Dear Lord, this is such a complex chapter to understand or

comprehend and I know that little by little we will get

information from you through the Holy Spirit, probably on a need

to know basis. But please help us to comprehend

what why you gave this to Daniel and what you want us to learn by
2:44
this. We ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

So this is about Daniel's dream of four beasts.

Let's get started. In the first year of Belshazzar,

king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions passed through

his mind as he was lying in bed. He wrote down the substance of

the dream. So here's a couple things that

are really important. So this is the first year
3:14
Belshazzar, king of Babylon. So Daniel is, he's already in
3:19
exile. The Babylonians are already
3:22
ruling over him. When he has this dream or this
3:25
vision that comes through his mind, he gets this vision as
3:28
he's quieted himself. He's lying in bed and this comes
3:35
to him as a vision or as a scene that he sees.

Verse 2, Daniel said in my vision at night, I looked, and

there before me were the four winds of heaven churning up the
3:50
great sea. Again, here's another place

where interpretation matters. And also I don't know that we're

going to actually know what this truly is, because it's the four.

It's Rua, which can mean wind, or it can mean spirit, or it can

mean breath. I mean, there's so many
4:18
different things that it it means like the Hebrew word.

So the this translation says there were the four winds of
4:26
heaven churning up the great sea.

Now this was interesting to me because when it talked about

churning up the sea, it made me think of another book of
4:38
Scripture where it did talk about churning the great waters.

And this is in Habakkuk chapter 3, verse 15.

It says you trampled the sea with your horses churning the

great waters. Now, that doesn't necessarily
4:56
mean that it's the same thing, but it's kind of interesting

that the four winds is in Daniel, that they are churning

the great waters, and then we see the horses are churning the
5:12
great waters from Habakkuk chapter 3.

So is there a correlation between the four winds and the

horses? And that brought me to another

part of Scripture in Zechariah 1 and Revelation chapter 6.

So in Zechariah 1, he has a vision and he sees a man mounted

on a red horse. He was standing among the Myrtle

trees in a ravine. Behind him were red, brown, and

white horses. Now what's interesting about

this, he's he has red, brown, and white horses.

That's what I think it says, sorrow.

And when you look at the Hebrew word for it meaning sorrow, but

red horse in the ravine were red sorrel.

That's what the NASB version says.

But it's sarukh, which means sorrel, reddish tawny Bay.

So it's a certain, it's a certain color that is described

as a brown horse. So there were red, brown and

white horses. In the Book of Revelation.

We see that there are white, red, black, and then like a

green or something. It's called chloral.

So there's, you know, several different colors of the horses

in the Book of Revelation. And here's why I'm trying to get

you to to see what I've seen in here.

I think it's easiest probably if I just read the continued part

of Zechariah, what he saw. So he sees these horses.

And when I was reading that before, I was like, wait, these

horses, they remind me of the Book of Revelation, but they

there is a different color there.

There's a, you know, it's red, brown and white.

Whereas in Revelation there's black in there and there's

green. So it's maybe not the same, but

so Zechariah 19 says, I asked, what are these?

My Lord, the Angel who was talking with me answered, I will

show you what they are. Then the man standing among the

Myrtle trees explained. They are the ones the Lord has
7:30
sent to go throughout the earth. And they reported to the Angel

of the Lord who was standing among the Myrtle trees.

We have gone out throughout the earth and found the whole world

at rest in peace. OK, so these horses went out
7:50
throughout the earth and again, this is a vision.

This is not a literal thing, but they are going and they are
7:56
reporting to the Angel of the Lord that what they found,

they're going out, you know, riding across the the earth, the

whole world found the whole world at rest and peace.

So what this what I believe these horses are both in
8:16
Zechariah and in the Book of Revelation.

I believe they are spiritual spirit entities that go out and

then I will have more that I found too.

So in Revelation chapter 5 verse 6, then I saw a lamb looking as

if it had been slain. That's representative of of

Jesus and his crucifixion on the cross, standing at the center of

the throne encircled by 4 living creatures and the elders.

The lamb had 7 horns and seven eyes.

Then it says it tells us what that is, which are the seven

spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

OK, so now it's saying that these are spirits that are sent

out to all the earth. The seven horns and seven eyes.

Horns are significant of power and eyes I guess like all seeing

omnipresent and they are the seven spirits of God.

There is an explanation of this as well that talks about the

this being the Holy Spirit and I will get into that.

I, I just want to share all these different things that I

found because it's interesting to understand this and really go

deep in this chapter. So anyway, now it's equating

that God sends out spirits into the earth.

Well, that also matches up with what Zachariah said what the

Angel told him that those were, they had gone out throughout the

earth. So they seem to be represented

also as horses in the Book of Revelation 2 because they go out

among the earth as well. So and and if you don't believe

I had not pulled up like the actually I, I guess I did pull

up Revelation 2 because in the Book of Revelation, I think it's

chapter 6. I got to get back there.

It it talks about then another horse came out a fiery red one.

It's rider was given power to take peace from the earth and

make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword.

So these seals, it talks about the lamb opening the first of

seven seals and the lamb is symbolic of Jesus and he opens

the seven seals. These are I, I, you know, it's

almost like the question becomes like, what is the scroll?

And is the scroll? Like that's how a deed was

transferred. I mean, this is also another

theory too. So I can't say for certain.

The Bible doesn't tell us exactly what this is, but I

believe there are also in the book of Ezekiel, he had to eat a

scroll just like John did. And I think there were like
11:32
blessings and cursing curses on this scroll.

And, and I also wonder if this is like the redemption of

mankind, like the final transaction for mankind for
11:49
Jesus to take over the earth and rule from it.

It's like this stuff has to happen before Jesus rules.

Like he has to open these seals. So the first horse is a white

rider and it held a bow and it was given a crown and it rode
12:05
out as a conqueror, but on a conquest.

So there's, you know, something again, I really think this may

be spiritual, that a spirit that goes out from God and influences
12:18
people to do certain things. And so that's in the first one
12:25
is, is a, a White Horse. And I think that's, you know, a
12:29
White Horse. I'm tying it back to, you know,
12:32
God sending out spirits to go throughout the world and look at
12:38
what's going on there. And they seem to be represented
12:42
in dreams and visions as horses. Just like in this vision that
12:46
John is having, he's seeing horses.

So are they spiritual entities that God sends out with this,

this requirement like this, he's, this is what they have to

do. Like this is the process that it
13:04
goes through. And so there's then there's one
13:08
that a red 1 and it takes peace from the earth.

And then there is a black one and it's holding scales in its
13:19
hand And it's, it's basically showing that it's, it's what I

read. Is it like inflation?

Like it's, you're paying a lot for a full of for wheat, which

is a day's wages. So it just, you know, it's
13:36
protecting the oil and the wine. So to me it sounds like there is
13:40
scarcity and things are, there's inflation that comes with the
13:45
Black Horse and it's some spiritual influence that comes
13:48
upon the earth. And then the 4th seal, it says

calm. I looked in there.

There before me was a pale horse or a green horse.

It's rider was named Death, and Hades was following close
14:04
behind. They were given power over a
14:07
fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by
14:15
the wild beasts of the earth. So that's the fourth seal and
14:21
that's the last horse. So I'm going to stop there.

There are three more seals that come later, but we're not
14:27
talking about that right now. We're just talking about the
14:29
horses and perhaps that they could be spiritual entities that
14:37
God that Jesus releases and they go out through the the earth to
14:44
with a purpose. They have a purpose.

And so let's see what else there was.

There was something more about that.

Again, I don't know if I got to the point yet about well, like I

think I'll read continue back in Daniel.

So hopefully some of that, the spiritual aspect of it seems

relevant to me and maybe you see it too, maybe you don't.

But on there will be more that comes up too.

So continuing in verse three from the book of Daniel, 4 great

beasts, each different from the others, came up out of the sea.

It's kind of interesting and I didn't.

Draw this conclusion on here. But I think in the book of Job

and in the sea is sometimes connected with the abyss and

with evil things rising out of the sea.

And we see the same thing in Revelation where there is a

beast that rises out of the sea. So the the Book of Revelation

and Daniel 7 tie together and there are other books too that

tie in with us. But I believe this this beast

that he sees, at least the final beast that Daniel sees is the
16:13
same beast that's described in the Book of Revelation.

And there's something interesting too.

I should have looked up the book of Job, but he does.

He talks about Leviathan being, you know, overcome, I believe
16:33
actually by God, like God fighting Leviathan in the water
16:37
in the book of Job. So you could probably look up
16:39
Leviathan and find it in the book of Job and re read about
16:42
it. But you know, that's out in the
16:45
water also. And so it does seem like the
16:48
water. I'd also know in the Book of
16:51
Revelation, the waters are like the people, the gentile nations.

That also represents that. So it's either you know, or

either or or a combination of both where it's like the abyss,

but it's also coming out of the sea like almost like being
17:11
possessed by something evil, something demonic that comes up

from the abyss. Now there is in the Book of
17:23
Revelation, it talks about how there the the dragon is symbolic
17:30
of Satan, the stars are symbolic of angelic beings, and so the
17:38
Dragon's tail sweeps the stars down to the earth.

So there are fallen angels. So that's in the Book of
17:48
Revelation. I think it might be chapter 12.

I can't remember and I didn't look that one up, but at that

same time it sounds like this is kind of interesting too.

Is that the the 5th Angel sounded his trumpet and I saw a

star that had fallen from the sky to the earth.

The star was given the key to the shaft of the abyss.

It does this tie together. This is from Revelation Chapter

9 verse one. The 5th Angel sounded its

trumpet and I saw a star. Is that a fallen Angel that had
18:30
fallen from the sky to the earth?

And this star, this Angel was given the key to the shaft of
18:36
the abyss. Now this angels going to open up
18:40
the abyss, and literally all hell is going to break loose.

It says when he opened the abyss, smoke rose from it like
18:49
the smoke from a gigantic furnace.

The sun and the sky were darkened by the smoke from the
18:55
abyss, and out of the smoke locusts came down on the earth

and were given power like that of the scorpions of the earth.

They were told not to harm the grass or the earth or any plant
19:07
or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God
19:12
on their foreheads. So just like I said at the
19:14
beginning of this podcast, how important it is for us to have
19:17
the Holy Spirit if you don't, I mean, like there's, there's
19:22
debate on who's going to be present at this time, but it's
19:26
said that the people who didn't have the seal of God on their
19:30
foreheads, that's like the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

So the people who don't have the anointing of the Holy Spirit,
19:38
they are not sealed by God. They are going to be harmed by
19:44
this entity thing that comes up out of the abyss.

So again, this is another reason why we want the Holy Spirit in
19:57
preparation. If you want to talk about
19:59
preparing for the end times, for the last days, you need the Holy
20:05
Spirit. If you want to be in God's
20:07
Kingdom, you need the Holy Spirit.

So I think this is the overall message, Like we're not going to
20:12
maybe figure out all of these, whether these are literal things
20:15
or they're symbolic or they're both.

I don't think we're not going to truthfully know.

We're going to be guessing all the way until it actually
20:25
happens. Then when it happens or after
20:28
the fact, we might know, but I don't think we're going to know
20:30
ahead of time until it actually happens.

And it says in Revelation 9, they were not allowed to kill
20:37
them, but only to torture them for five months.

And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a
20:46
scorpion when it strikes. During those days, people will
20:49
seek death but will not find it. They will long to die, but death
20:54
will elude them. So they're not going to be able
20:57
to die the way this is, You know, what God is.

This is judgement is what is happening here.

The locust looks like horses prepared for battle.

On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold

and and their faces resembled human faces.

So again, I think this is probably something spiritual or
21:21
maybe it's some creation that we just have never seen before that

actually comes up. And it's really a bizarre
21:26
looking thing, which is going to lead me into another topic about
21:32
the spiritual world. And it says their hair was like
21:36
woman's hair and their teeth were like lion's teeth.

I think that's kind of almost symbolic too, because the lion
21:44
is depicted especially in these different beasts.

There's a there's a lion beast that will be talked about in
21:50
this book of Daniel that we're going to go back to.

There's a lion, there's a bear, there's a leopard.

And then there's a fourth beast that's different from them.

So, but yet in the Book of Revelation, we see that the 4th

beast actually combines all of those, which is really

interesting. Going back, I hope I'm not

jumping around too much, but going back to the Book of
22:14
Revelation, these things that come out of the ground, out of
22:18
the abyss or the sea, wherever that is where they come up, they
22:22
had breastplates of iron and the sound of their wings.

So these are winged creatures was like that of many of was
22:33
like the thundering of many horses and Chariots rushing into
22:37
battle. They had tails with stingers
22:40
like scorpions and in their tails they had power to torment
22:45
people for five months. Now listen to this.

They had as king over them the Angel of the abyss, whose name
22:56
is he in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek is Apollyon, that is

destroyer. So these things that come up,

there's an Angel that's over them.

They have wings. Could they be angelic beings,

fallen Angel beings that come up out of the earth?

I we won't know, but scripture kind of leads you to that.

I've seen other people trying to explain this chapter by saying,

well, John saw these things, but these were modern day
23:32
helicopters and stuff. He like people make up these
23:35
things and they, they're just trying to reason it with stuff
23:38
that we know today. But perhaps the things we know
23:41
today aren't going to be the things that we actually see.

Maybe these evil things that have been chained in the abyss,
23:49
that don't get let loose are going to come up, and they're
23:52
things that we have never, ever seen before.

And so instead of trying to make these things into something that

we know or that we are familiar with, we should just take it
24:05
lightly and understand what it says.

Maybe it's symbolic or maybe it's not.

Maybe these are some strange things that are in existence,

but we've just never seen them and there's a little bit of a
24:24
reason to actually believe that. So in Revelation chapter 17,

verse 8, it says the beast which you saw once once was, now is
24:39
not and yet will come up out of the abyss and go to its
24:45
destruction. The inhabitants of the earth

whose names have not been written in the book of life from
24:53
the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the
24:57
beast because it once was, now is not and yet will come.

So right now there's a lot of people that talk about the, OK,
25:08
this beast that's being referred to is, you know, it's a, I think
25:14
it's 7 headed with 10 horns. I mean, it's the same beast that
25:18
Daniel describes. And this is the beast that it
25:21
says comes up out of the sea in the Book of Revelation, but it
25:25
is coming up out of the abyss. And again it says the
25:30
inhabitants of the earth whose names who have not been written
25:33
in the Book of Life will be astonished.

So these are like non believers. So when you believe in Jesus,

your names are written in the book of life.

That's probably a good topic to search an electronic Bible, look

up book of life. But God will put us when we
25:52
repent and turn to him and receive the Holy Spirit.

Our names are written in the book of life.

And so again, we need the Holy Spirit because if we don't have

the Holy Spirit, we're going to be astonished by this beast.

There's going to be torture that's involved that we read in

another chapter. There's all these reasons to get

serious about your faith before this happens.

And it really does sound like it says like, like they have only
26:21
something about, you know, they have given authority for an
26:25
hour. Now, whether that's a literal
26:27
hour or OK, I'll read that. OK, So Revelation 17, verse 9,

this. Well, I'm not going to read that

part. OK, Revelation 17 verse 10.

They are also 7 kings. Those are the seven heads.

And it says 5 have fallen, 1 is the other has not yet come.

But when he does come, he must remain only for a little while.

The beast who once was and now is not is an eighth king.

He belongs to the seven, and is going to his destruction.

Now, this is the one that people call the Antichrist or the

lawless one or the, you know, there's going to be this, this

is what people call today. So he's like an eighth king, but

he's connected. And, and it also tells us that
27:26
the beast is empowered by Satan. The dragon gives the beast its
27:32
power, very similar to what happened to Judas.

It said that the, IT said Satan leapt into Judas and then that's
27:43
when Judas betrayed Jesus. So he was possessed basically by
27:48
Satan and that led him to do what he wanted.

He didn't have the Holy Spirit. He wasn't turned to God.

He was, you know, maybe acting it out.

He was one of the 12 disciples. He was close to Jesus.

He knew who Jesus was. But did he was Jesus Lord over
28:07
his life? Was he obedient to Jesus, to
28:11
what Jesus said? Was he a true disciple?

Did he apply what Jesus taught to his own life?

It said that he used to like scheme, I guess like our scam,

some of the money that he would collect.

So he was, he was focused on money and his heart wasn't
28:28
really turned towards God. And because of that, because he
28:32
didn't have that, Jesus was protecting his disciples, but
28:38
also out of free will, like people can choose whether to
28:42
follow him or not. And if you reject following
28:45
Jesus, if you don't want to, that's your right.

Nobody's going to force you to. That's what's different about
28:50
the Bible and other religions. Some other religions like force
28:54
people to do things, not the Bible.

The Bible gives you free will, not gives you, but God gave you
29:01
free will. But the Bible, it says we have a
29:04
choice. God won't force us.

And that's what true love is, not forcing someone to love you.

So it's our choice. But it tells us that's why this

book is so important. It tells us what will happen in
29:19
the future if we reject God, if we reject Jesus, if we don't
29:26
have the Holy Spirit. So those are very, very
29:30
important things to understand and to get more information
29:35
about because it's so important in order to be prepared.

So in Revelation 17, verse 12, it says these 10 horns you saw
29:45
are 10 kings who have not received a Kingdom, but who for
29:50
one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast.

So this is, this is interesting because it's like the the beast,

you know, the kings and the beasts are working in tandem
30:08
together. So maybe the kings are human
30:11
beings, but this beast is a spiritual entity that came up
30:15
out of the abyss and is empowering this one who is the,
30:21
the boastful one. They wage war against the Lamb,
30:25
which is at, you know, Jesus and they had.
30:31
So these kings have one purpose and will give their power and
30:34
authority to the beast. So it says one hour, whether
30:40
that's a literal hour or it means just a short time if it's
30:44
just symbolic. But it sounds like, and this all
30:48
happens like at the end, because when we read further into
30:52
Daniel, we see that this happens.

When this happens, there's 3 1/2 years.

And this is also confirmed in the Book of Revelation.

Like when this beast arises and begins, it's going to wage war

against the holy people and it'll have 3 1/2 years to do

this. So when we see Christians being

persecuted, is that a precursor to this coming?

Is it growing right now? Is it emerging?

Are these are these kings present or getting set up?

Are they about, you know, just pay attention to these things
31:31
like where are Christians being persecuted?

We're seeing it grow more and more.

First it started out with the Jews and then it comes to the
31:42
Christians. And that's what the Book of
31:44
Revelation says that first it, it the, I think that's in
31:49
chapter 12 where it talks about going after Israel's children
31:57
and then after all of those who keep the testimony of Jesus.

So it's very clear that people who believe in Jesus are, are

going to be persecuted. And I believe again, that this

is something spiritual like we're trying to, we shouldn't be
32:13
trying to figure out like who is, who represents this beast or
32:18
who is the Antichrist or whatever.

That actually isn't going to matter much because we will
32:26
probably finally know it when he claims to be God on the holy
32:30
ground. That's when we're going to know
32:32
who this person is that's that's spoken of.
32:35
But until then, what we need to do to prepare is have the Holy
32:39
Spirit. That's what we need to do to
32:41
prepare. So Daniel talks about these 10
32:46
horns and then the Book of Revelation also talks about the
32:50
10 horns. So let's see.

I will go back to verse 4 from the book of Daniel in Chapter 7.

So these are the, he sees these beasts and they're all different

from one another. They are coming up out of the
33:06
sea or if we want to say the abyss.

The first was like a lion and it had wing the wings of an eagle.

I watched until the wings were torn off and it was lifted from
33:20
the ground so that it stood on 2 feet like a human being and the
33:25
mind of a human was given to it. Now in my study Bible it shows

this first lion beast thing it it lines it up with Babylon.

But I question that because Daniel had this dream where it

was showing this sequence of kings.

It says, you know later on in the chapter it says the four

great beasts are 4 kings that will rise from the earth or come

out of the ground. That's what it says.

And so has this already happened or is this yet to come?

And is this a spiritual entity? So there's more reasons for me

to believe this is a spiritual entity.

And I'll, I'll point these things out now.

happening today and you look at the spiritual aspect.

What I've noticed is that there appears to be wickedness that

said you can have this place where you rule over that place

and you rule over that. And these people, these not

people, these spiritual beings turned against God and, you

know, have it in their desires to overtake and rule as king or

If you ever read the book of Enoch, it tells a story like

Bible. So we don't really know how much

of it is true, but it certainly makes sense of things that are

that are in the world. And it makes sense of what the

were these watchers that were supposed to look over humans and

they did things that God told them they shouldn't do.

They taught human beings things like astrology, like technical

like eye makeup, cosmetics, I think there were like plant

cuttings. And so there are all these

things like divination kind of things that were taught.

And then when it talks about eye makeup, I think about Egypt and

all the drawings that we've seen, historical drawings where

there just had such really heavy eye makeup that they used in

influence from these watchers? And then there's that great

angels and these fallen angels banded together and they set out

Nicodemus was Israel's teacher and Jesus was talking to him in

So I think there's a lot of of heavenly things that Jesus

didn't even share with us because it wasn't absolutely

necessary for us and we don't even understand the concepts

that Jesus wants us to understand.

Like this chapter 3 of John was talking about being born again,

having the Holy Spirit and Nicodemus was all confused about

that concept and didn't quite understand it.

And but the point is receiving the Holy Spirit.

So it's a, it's basically us surrendering, as you know,

saying, OK, I believe in Jesus. Jesus is the controller of the

Holy Spirit and he receives the Holy Spirit from the Father and

then gives it to people. So if we don't believe in Jesus,

we're not going to be able to receive the Holy Spirit.

So and it's not going to be, we can't just say I believe in

Jesus. I want the Holy Spirit because

God knows our heart. We truly have to believe in

Jesus. Believe what the Bible says.

And if that isn't something that you believe, then the Bible

tells us how that will happen. The more you read the Bible,

then you will like specifically the, the, the gospel message,

the books about Jesus, read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and

maybe read those every, you know, read something from them

every day. Think about them, reflect on

them, pray about them and faith will come through that.

spiritual things that the book of Daniel is talking about, the

So this is when Jesus was about to be taken into custody to go

to his eventual crucifixion and he's praying and he's telling

his disciples who are with them. He's saying watch and pray so

that you will not fall into temptation.

God chained them in darkness until the end when they come up.

where they were bound, but they were bound by God because of

angels are what are loosed out of the abyss and notice that

thing that makes me think these are maybe angelic beings, but

fallen Angel beings. What Ezekiel saw, he saw these

winged creatures. And no, I don't know that the

winged creatures that he had seen were evil things, but they

they certainly were heavenly things.

on verse 4, but the first was like a lion and it had wings of

to talk about. So a lion is sometimes

symbolically tied to God, but it's also tied to Babylon.

Sometimes when it's talking about the, you know, groups

coming against Israel, sometimes it's talking about lions,

sometimes it's and it's sometimes referring to Babylon

and it's sometimes referring to God.

So that's kind of hard. Also the other thing that an

eagle it, it sometimes is described in like God, his

swiftness, his power, like on the on the wings of eagles.

But then other times it is talked about as something that

is unclean, like an eagle, a vulture, all these different

things that God calls that are not clean.

also a story about the 2 eagles. There is a story and I forgot

where that was in scripture, but it talks about Lebanon and it

talks about the 2 eagles and one planting the top of a tree and

another planting a top of a tree.

And it talks about, you know, the differences.

So I think it's 1 is good and one is evil.

And so again, these are these are like imitations of God, a

lion, but it has the wings of an eagle.

And then we from what Ezekiel saw, these entities that Ezekiel

So this was a vision that he had, and he was, it said, in my

The heavens opened and he saw visions of God on the 5th of the

Their form was human, but each of them had four faces and four

creatures that are in heaven and they, they pay attention.

There's four different faces. And I, you know, it just, I

don't know if this ties in at all, but what kind of made me

wonder is I don't know if these angelic beings, it doesn't say

whether they were good or bad. He just sees them and do they,

do they represent different? Do they represent anything

fallen? Or are there some of them who

are good and didn't turn away from God, but then some of them

who were evil and turned away from God?

And the reason I say that is if you study any kind of ancient

religion, go back to Mesopotamia and Babylon and the things that

they believed in, the depictions that are in archaeology that

they show these things that were part human, part animal.

And that's what this this is what Ezekiel is seeing.

He's saying, you know, a human being, a lion, an ox and an

eagle having those faces. And then also relating this back

to Daniel and the four beasts it talks about, I'll read what

those are also it, you know, it talks about the lion, the bear,

the leopard, and then there's another beast that has these

multiple heads. So it all of these things are

these heavenly creatures who have been expelled from heaven

because of their rebellion. And do is that what comes up and

starts to affect the earth and are the the entities that

Ezekiel saw, are they good or evil?

And if they are good, then are their evil counterparts as well?

Because they have all these different characteristics

similar to what gets described about these four beasts also.

So going back to Daniel's dream of the four beasts, it says the

first was a lion and it had wings of an eagle.

So I watched until its wings were torn off and it was lifted

from the ground so that it stood on 2 feet like a human being,

and the mind of a human was given to it.

So this makes me think about what Ezekiel saw, because it had

a face of a lion, it had wings, but the wings were torn off.

And then it's on the ground. But then it stands up and it

says it was given the mind of a human.

So it's not saying that this is human already.

It says that this beast, whatever it is, is given the

mind of a human and its wings were torn off.

So was this some sort of a fallen Angel or is this?

I mean, I don't know whether this came or if it's going to

that it came and they relate it to Nebuchadnezzar.

And Nebuchadnezzar, I could see how you would relate it to him,

like an animal until you claim the power that I have until you

where this being has its wings torn off and then it stands up

with two feet like a human being in the mind of a human was given

to it. So I don't know what that was or

if that is to come. That's that's a question in my

mind is and I want to find that verse in Scripture where it

talks about, OK, here it is in Revelation it, it talks about

these these 7 kings or these seven beasts.

This is like the last beast that Daniel sees, but it says 5 have

fallen. One is the other has not come.

But when he does come, he must remain only for a little while.

So in the time when John was seeing this, did it mean that

already like fallen kings who are in the abyss.

But it seems like these beasts are things from the past.

If we go back and we look at ancient archaeology, we look at

archaeological findings that show depictions of these beings

because there are there are things like there's a winged

lion headed figure and it's has a serpent body and keys and it

represents time itself. It's a Greco Roman deity called

That's kind of interesting too. Like, is that the first one that

gets thrown down out of heaven that has the keys to the abyss?

And these Greco Roman deities? I mean, like these people from

the past saw these things and we just think of them.

bull, they could be the same thing, a lion and a human.

creature that was here on the earth and actually interacted

protecting against venomous creatures embodying swift,

It was which is which was Egyptian also the powerful

lioness, goddess of war and healing, representing fierce

protection and destruction linked to the eye of RA.

The RA is actually talked about in the Bible, the people

worshipping that. So we have and then there's a

couple more. There's a, you know, that are

tied to a leopard and diagnosis and that Lamassu one's Assyrian

and the other one is Greek and Roman.

And just think of what countries were coming against Israel and

Could that be like where the fallen angels came and taught

human things and that's how they built those pyramids?

And each one of these different ancient cultures had a belief in

something that was like a God, that was like a God that they

probably fearful of, that they worshipped that, you know, they

were afraid of because it was something different than what

they had ever experienced. It wasn't human.

There's another entity that I found that's called Pazuzu.

It's a powerful demon from ancient Assyrian and Babylonian

mythology known as the king of wind demons who brought famine

and storms, but was paradoxically invoked for

protection, especially against the infant harming Demonus la

Mouschtu, so it says, depicted as a grotesque hybrid of man,

lion, eagle and scorpion. Does that not sound like what's

going to come up out of the abyss that the Bible talks about

that had the tail of a scorpion and it but it has man like a

human face, a lion, an eagle, and then it says something about

a scorpion here. So it doesn't have the ox there.

But again, are these the same creatures that Ezekiel saw?

And are there maybe some good ones and some bad ones, or maybe

they're all bad? I don't know and I don't really.

It's the whole purpose is not to learn more about those things

because I don't really care. The point is that we need the

Holy Spirit, because if these things are real and they do come

up out of the abyss and they're going to shock everybody, then

we need the Holy Spirit to protect us.

We don't have to fear any of that stuff.

People get intimidated by the Book of Revelation because of

some of the things that are talked about in there, But

that's because people haven't read the Book of Revelation.

But the Book of Revelation, you don't have to worry about

things. If you have the Holy Spirit, if

you believe in Christ, if you. Yeah, there will.

There's persecution that's being talked.

So I can't say that you won't have anything that you're

concerned about, but by the power of God, you will overcome

those things. There were certainly martyrs

throughout history that like Stephen who was stoned to death,

but when he looked up, they said his face looked like that of an

Angel and he saw Jesus. And another thing to think about

is what we can't put all of our belief and what we hear from
1:05:25
people, but people have had near death experiences.

And what's interesting about those near death experiences was
1:05:33
when they like they had a, a departure from their body and
1:05:38
they saw their own body that was in trauma.

You know, there was that body's dying and they saw it, but they
1:05:45
didn't feel the pain when they were separated from the body.

And so when we fear death from the near death experiences, what

people tell is that they're, they don't feel the pain.

They see it, but they don't feel it.

So when you're removed from that, you don't feel the pain.

But when you're in the body, if you get hurt, if you don't die,

you feel all that pain. But when someone dies but

doesn't stay dead, they when they come back into their body,

they feel all of it again. But when they were separated

from their body, they don't feel it.

So I think the fear of the unknown grips a lot of people,

but, and maybe God let these people have those experiences so

that we would know that, you know, even if it does come down

to what's happened to Christians, the Christians in

Nigeria who were beheaded, perhaps God just, you know, like
1:06:42
there might be a moment of pain, but from what these near death
1:06:46
experiences say, they, they don't feel the pain.

They can see it happening on the body, but they don't feel it.

And so we, we don't need to fear death because we know when we

believe, we know that we are eternal beings, that we will be

living forever. It's just a matter of where

we're going to be living with God or separated from God.

frightening and very powerful. It had it had large iron teeth.

So this sounds like God here. His clothing was white as snow.

attended to him. That matches up with the Book of

books were opened. This sounds like Judgement verse

lawless person's going to be exposed, revealed, and then He

comes right after this like intense period, but short period

of great tribulation like has never happened before.

Then will everyone will see Jesus coming on the clouds.

beheaded because of their beliefs will rule with Jesus.

important placement in God's Kingdom because of what they

gave up for God, for Jesus, you know, in the name of Jesus.

So it sounds like there's going to be Christian persecution

High, and the time came when they possessed the Kingdom.

Revelation talks about that. I think it's 1260 days, which

places that this is 3 1/2 years that the holy people will be

delivered into His hands for 3 1/2 years, but the court will

sit and His power will be taken away and completely destroyed

forever. Then the sovereignty, power and
1:16:38
greatness of all the kingdoms under Heaven will be handed over
1:16:42
to the holy People, the Most High.

His Kingdom will be an everlasting Kingdom, and all the
1:16:47
rulers will worship and obey Him.

Belshazzar was killed the night Darius the Mede conquered

Babylon in 539 BC. So this is before Darius the

Mede conquered Babylon. Daniel stream because it

happened in the first year of Belshazzar.

Is it significant that each of the beasts came up out of the

sea? Yes, it indicates that the beast

represent Gentile nations. The churning refers to the
1:18:21
turbulent Gentile world. Verse 17 indicates that the sea

represents the earth, the world of nations and peoples from
1:18:30
which the four kingdoms arose. Moreover, the sea is frequently

symbolic of Gentile nations and humanity in general.

And I agree with all of that. But I also think that these

beasts do seem to come up out of the abyss also, so just

something to reflect on and pray about.

OK, who was the Ancient of Days? This was a name for God that

emphasized his eternal existence.

His white hair symbolizes purity and wisdom, not age.

His flaming throne and river of fire probably represent his role

as a powerful judge. Even though God is spirit,

symbolic physical descriptions like this are often used in the

Bible to tell us important things about God's nature.

So let's see, what kind of court was this?

This was apparently God's judging of the nations and
1:19:32
individuals, especially those symbolized in verses one through
1:19:36
8 and 11 through 12. The books that were opened

represent a record of what the defendants had done.

Opening the books meant that the evidence was reviewed.

Who was this Son of man? This expression usually refers

to a human being or all humans, which emphasizes the distinction

from God here. It could stand for the people of

Israel or Israel's angelic representation in heaven, but

many believe this refers to the Messiah.

That's kind of what I believe. Stressing his humanity as well

as his authority and power given to him, Jesus, referring back to

this passage, frequently applied this title to himself.

Since Jesus is not yet worshipped by all peoples and

thousands upon thousands of angels he had seen.

Why does this book use such obscure symbols?

Though it may seem like Daniel uses riddles to reveal the

future, in Daniel's day, some of these symbols were easily

understood. For example, Daniel's

contemporaries would have known that horns often represented

power. Some symbols may have been used

because they had dual meanings, simultaneously referring to near
1:21:07
future and distant future events.

Also, Daniel may have used symbols as a barrier to keep the
1:21:13
wicked from understanding the prophecy.

The symbolism is difficult for us to understand, but these

predictions weren't meant to be comprehended in a single reading

then or now. And how could anyone describe

future realities as some interpret the images of verse 19

or the appearance of God without using symbols?

The most important message of these prophecies is the easiest

to understand. Nothing can stand in the way of

God's promises to restore His people and set up His perfect,

everlasting Kingdom. Our response should be 1 of

prayerful preparation and expectation.

And receiving the Holy Spirit, I might add.

So what 4 kings did these beasts represent?

This vision seems to parallel parallel the one in chapter 2.

Some think the lion is the Babylonian Empire, the bear

medio Persian Empire, the leopard the Greek Empire, and

the frightening and powerful beast the Roman Empire.

Others believe the bear stands for the Medes, the leopard for
1:22:18
the Persians, and the fourth beast for the Greeks.

So and then again, then there's others like me who think that

these are things that those may have been foreshadowings, but

maybe there's actually going to be these, these entities that
1:22:32
come up in the end times that are creatures that we've not
1:22:35
seen before. Who knows?

We'll have to wait in the end and see what happens.

So what 11 kings did These horns represent?

The 1st 10 horns represent the nations or the leaders arising
1:22:47
from the 4th Kingdom. The 4th Kingdom if the 4th

Kingdom represents Rome. See, that's a long standing

belief by through the Bible, but I don't know that I necessarily

agree with that. The 10 horns could refer to the
1:23:03
nations that were formed by the breakup of the Roman Empire.

Others believe the 10 horns won't arise until the future

when another power will to challenge God's authority.

In this interpretation, some correlate the leader represented
1:23:18
by the 11th horn as the beast from Revelation.

Another view is that the 4th Kingdom refers to Greece and the

10 horns represent rulers. Deposed by the.

King of Greece, the 11th horn. But like many of the symbolic

prophecies in the Bible, definitive interpretations are

then when it actually happens, we'll recognize it as what

Scripture foretold. So why was Daniel troubled by a

To this point, Daniel had interpreted dreams that foretold

the rise and fall of peoples and empires.

This dream was about the final judgement and end of the world.

Daniel was disturbed because prior to God's ultimate victory,

there would be a time of great turmoil and suffering.

And that's how this chapter ends with the questions and answers.
