  Speaker 1: twenty two. So he spent he sent unto Macedonia. Of

  Speaker 1: Now Paul is sending them out, but he stayed for

  Speaker 1: a time where he was at and man, that's awesome

  Speaker 1: when God has given us an assignment and we have

  Speaker 1: a team that works with us, and we can cover

  Speaker 1: more ground if we have people that we can send

  Speaker 1: out and people who can prepare the way. At this point,

  Speaker 1: Paul trusts them to be able to handle the ministry
• 8:48
  Speaker 1: and trust it that once he got there, everything is
• 8:51
  Speaker 1: operating as it should. It shows growth on his companions
• 8:56
  Speaker 1: that he spent time discipling them, spend time training them
• 9:02
  Speaker 1: up in the vision, and that these men were not selfish.
• 9:06
  Speaker 1: They're not oh, I need to do my own ministry
• 9:08
  Speaker 1: or do my own thing. Now. These men were committed
• 9:13
  Speaker 1: to the vision of the Lord and God. At one point,
• 9:18
  Speaker 1: when you're a disciple, you are a learner. But after
• 9:24
  Speaker 1: you learn he've been trained up, then you get sent
• 9:27
  Speaker 1: out as well and you will carry the vision that
• 9:31
  Speaker 1: the Lord is giving you. A lot of people don't
• 9:36
  Speaker 1: go through the process because they want to build their
• 9:38
  Speaker 1: own kingdom. They're not concerned about the things that belong
• 9:42
  Speaker 1: to Christ. They want to build their own kingdom, which
• 9:45
  Speaker 1: is Tipperary. They will not last like this is amazing
• 9:50
  Speaker 1: that Paul had a team like this. Amen. That is
• 9:53
  Speaker 1: very rare that you find today. You see so many
• 9:57
  Speaker 1: ministry splits and church splits. It's hard to trust somebody

  Speaker 1: to go to a different city and start a work. Amen.

  Speaker 1: Verse twenty three. About that time there arose a great

  Speaker 1: commotion about the way now here again, how many times
• 10:19
  Speaker 1: are we gonna see commotions and people getting upset and

  Speaker 1: then their feelings and just the opposition that Paul went through,

  Speaker 1: like time and time again. I'm gonna count it up.

  Speaker 1: How many times in the Book of Acts that opposition

  Speaker 1: of curiosity. You can study that if you want, but

  Speaker 1: For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith who made

  Speaker 1: silver shrines of Diana, brought no small profit to the

  Speaker 1: craftsmen right now. That means this dude is making a

  Speaker 1: lot of money, making and building false gods. They called
• 11:49
  Speaker 1: them together with the workers of similar occupation and said, men,

  Speaker 1: you know that we have are prosperity by this trade.

  Speaker 1: That it sounds like a union meeting right there, right

  Speaker 1: there's twenty six moreover you see and hear that not

  Speaker 1: only in ephesis, but throughout almost all Asia. This Paul

  Speaker 1: has persuaded and turned many turned away, many people saying
• 12:25
  Speaker 1: that they are not gods which are made with hands. Wow,

  Speaker 1: the gospel was hurting the industry, right, The gospel was

  Speaker 1: taking their money. False religion often survives because it's profitable,
• 12:48
  Speaker 1: not truthful, but it's profitable if we're honest. Look at
• 12:53
  Speaker 1: how many false religions out there that are prospering financially.
• 12:58
  Speaker 1: Look at science hoology. How a lot of the people
• 13:03
  Speaker 1: who are members of that are elite Hollywood type people, right,
• 13:10
  Speaker 1: actors and filmmakers and a lot of these as matter
• 13:14
  Speaker 1: of fact, that's the draw for many of these organizations,
• 13:17
  Speaker 1: that if you go higher up, you can gain the
• 13:22
  Speaker 1: wealth in the prestige and all that that comes with it.
• 13:28
  Speaker 1: And that is all that Satan likes to flash before people.
• 13:32
  Speaker 1: But it's it's glitter, it's not gold. Amen. When truth
• 13:42
  Speaker 1: shows up, fake systems start losing money. Now that's the truth,
• 13:50
  Speaker 1: and that's what makes people mad. That's why the Pharisees
• 13:56
  Speaker 1: and the sadgy Sees are upset with Christ. And that
• 14:02
  Speaker 1: is something that will provoke a lot of people to
• 14:05
  Speaker 1: anger when you start messing with their money. Amen. So
• 14:12
  Speaker 1: not only is there is this trade of ours in
• 14:16
  Speaker 1: danger of falling into dispute, this dibute dispute I don't know,
• 14:28
  Speaker 1: I don't know why. I can't read that word. But
• 14:31
  Speaker 1: also the temple of the great Goddess Diana may be despised, Amen.

  Speaker 1: a mob of people that would have no doubt turned

  Speaker 1: against him. Remember, Jesus appeared to him. She told him,

  Speaker 1: to you. Paul believed that. Paul believed that no harm

  Speaker 1: would come to him. That gave him a great boldness.

  Speaker 1: Now Jesus wouldn't come to him and deal with this

  Speaker 1: fear if Paul was afraid. Right, if Paul was not

  Speaker 1: dealing with fear at certain points, But he had Jesus

  Speaker 1: to remember. His promise was that I would be with you.

  Speaker 1: That is the remedy for all fear, is that the
• 16:15
  Speaker 1: Lord is with us. Hallelujah, Amen. Verse thirty one. And

  Speaker 1: some of the officials of Asia, whom were his friends,

  Speaker 1: sent to him pleading that he would not venture into

  Speaker 1: the theater. Now they must have known Paul's character. They

  Speaker 1: danger fearlessly. Thirty two. Some therefore cried one thing in
