- 0:51Speaker 5: Cannas just said something crazy to me. She goes, I
- 0:52Speaker 5: don't have a free day until May thirty. First.
- 0:54Speaker 6: Yeah, one hundred percent.
- 0:56Speaker 3: May Somber is like the realest situation for moms on them. Yeah,
- 1:01Speaker 3: we call it May Somber because it's just like events, events, events,
- 1:05Speaker 3: things going on into school.
- 1:06Speaker 6: Year's Spirit Day, you know, Teacher Appreciation Week is this week.
- 1:09Speaker 6: Bring all the things.
- 1:11Speaker 3: I'm just like, I overscheduled myself on top of that.
- 1:14Speaker 2: I know, but you used to be able to say no,
- 1:16Speaker 2: yeah I.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Did, But I'm saying yes because it's things for my
- 1:20Speaker 3: family or things for my son. Like none of this
- 1:22Speaker 3: is like my my thing other.
- 1:24Speaker 6: Than we're going to the Rangers game next weekend. That's
- 1:27Speaker 6: my thing.
- 1:27Speaker 3: But it's on Mother's Day, and so I just I've
- 1:30Speaker 3: stacked it all, stacked it all back to back. We
- 1:32Speaker 3: went to NASCAR yesterday at Texas Motor Speedway.
- 1:36Speaker 5: Oh was that fun?
- 1:37Speaker 6: Really fun? Yeah, but that's a whole day thing too,
- 1:40Speaker 6: and that for my son.
- 1:41Speaker 5: So it could be like me start saying no more. Yeah,
- 1:44Speaker 5: like no, I can't do it.
- 1:45Speaker 4: Well.
- 1:45Speaker 3: I excited this morning as I was looking for my
- 1:48Speaker 3: snacks and like you know, in a frenzy trying to
- 1:50Speaker 3: get out of the house on.
- 1:51Speaker 6: Time in the dark. That starting May thirty.
- 1:53Speaker 3: First, no June, nothing's happening.
- 1:56Speaker 6: My birthday is the last day of June.
- 1:57Speaker 3: So nothing's happening until my birthday unless anyone wants to
- 2:00Speaker 3: do anything like that.
- 2:01Speaker 6: Yeah, so's show field trips?
- 2:03Speaker 2: Can we do a show field trip?
- 2:05Speaker 3: We'll all squeeze one in but they'll be last minute. Yeah,
- 2:07Speaker 3: if I'm in the mood, we'll do it.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I like that. Yeah, I like it. I like spontaneous though.
- 2:13Speaker 5: Yeah, so that's good, but I know everyone can't be spontaneous.
- 2:16Speaker 2: It's tough when you got kids and family.
- 2:18Speaker 6: A good mix of planning and spontaneous.
- 2:20Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah that's true. Well good, I'm glad you had
- 2:22Speaker 5: a good weekend. Everything was fun.
- 2:23Speaker 6: Yeah. Thanks.
- 2:24Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure who was here. He's in a frenzy today.
- 2:27Speaker 2: What is going on?
- 2:28Speaker 5: I know is Poo is so all over the place
- 2:31Speaker 5: this morning. He's making me. He's making me anxious.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Well because the phones are tripping and I'm trying to
- 2:36Speaker 1: get a hold on those.
- 2:37Speaker 6: Yeah, the door here was tripping.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Yeah, the request lines. You're talking about the request of
- 2:41Speaker 2: the request lines, but I can't.
- 2:43Speaker 5: Uh.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Usually when I get here, I check them out, make
- 2:46Speaker 1: sure they work.
- 2:47Speaker 2: They worked.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Hello, Okay, continue on. Well, right before the show started,
- 2:52Speaker 1: my computer restarts and everything, and I'm like, what's going on?
- 2:57Speaker 1: It never has done that. Yeah, so it blacked everything
- 2:59Speaker 1: out and kick back on. I test the phones again.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Then I can't hear anything. So I'm like, so I'm
- 3:06Speaker 1: like all over the place.
- 3:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I can sell. It's making me nervous. You got
- 3:09Speaker 5: to be like a duck. Be like a duck. What
- 3:11Speaker 5: does a duck do? A duck on the surface looks
- 3:14Speaker 5: calm and everything's fine. Underwater, his legs are like, you
- 3:19Speaker 5: gotta start looking calm on the surface.
- 3:21Speaker 6: We can see his legs.
- 3:24Speaker 5: Problem, That's what I'm saying. I don't want to see
- 3:28Speaker 5: his legs, Cane. That's the exact point. I don't want
- 3:34Speaker 5: to see who's legs is.
- 3:35Speaker 2: My entire point, right.
- 3:37Speaker 5: I want him to be like, Hey, you're the producer,
- 3:39Speaker 5: just don't freak out.
- 3:41Speaker 6: Calm down, keep calm and carry on. Wasn't that like
- 3:43Speaker 6: the early two thousands.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Because you freak out, I'm gonna freak out.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Okay, you know, how are your legs, Billy?
- 3:51Speaker 5: I already got my shoes off there. No, my legs
- 3:58Speaker 5: aren't even movings, aren't even moving.
- 4:01Speaker 6: I know.
- 4:02Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know if that's a good thing
- 4:03Speaker 2: or not.
- 4:05Speaker 5: I will say this though, I'm excited because today we
- 4:07Speaker 5: do tradio radio, which you know, I love. I love
- 4:12Speaker 5: doing tradio radio. Now we've done it before, and we've
- 4:15Speaker 5: done it for things, you know, like concerts, who knows.
- 4:17Speaker 5: I've done it over the years many times. I mean
- 4:19Speaker 5: a lot of times, and I've gotten crazy stuff. The
- 4:21Speaker 5: last time at effect I think we did tradio radio
- 4:23Speaker 5: was when we got to Go.
- 4:25Speaker 6: Yeah it was that for pink tickets?
- 4:27Speaker 2: Was it for pink tickets? I think you're right?
- 4:29Speaker 5: Yeah? Wow.
- 4:30Speaker 6: Yeah. We got Billy the Goat.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Yeah, Billy the goat who lives and walks Ahatchie with
- 4:35Speaker 5: his foster parents.
- 4:36Speaker 1: A fainting goats.
- 4:41Speaker 6: He's like me.
- 4:44Speaker 2: His legs are hairy and he faints.
- 4:47Speaker 5: But we got nidos to give away, which I mean,
- 4:49Speaker 5: everybody wants these things. I don't get it, but it
- 4:53Speaker 5: doesn't matter if I get it. Yeah, it doesn't matter
- 4:55Speaker 5: because it's viral.
- 4:56Speaker 2: People are waiting in lines. We've got the mystery dumplings.
- 4:58Speaker 5: To give away.
- 4:59Speaker 3: I squitched and when you squish it in your hand,
- 5:01Speaker 3: you'll get it.
- 5:01Speaker 6: If you haven't like squashed it, you'll get it.
- 5:04Speaker 5: I haven't.
- 5:05Speaker 2: I have none to squish.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Well you need to squish one, all right. You understand
- 5:09Speaker 3: why people are crazy for these Well.
- 5:11Speaker 5: We're gonna be doing it every day this week. So
- 5:13Speaker 5: Tradio Radio starts at eight thirty. So start thinking about
- 5:16Speaker 5: what you would want to trade. I will say this,
- 5:19Speaker 5: it's fun to listen to, even if you don't want
- 5:20Speaker 5: to need it, right, it's fun to listen to. But
- 5:23Speaker 5: it doesn't have to be something expensive. People are like, well,
- 5:25Speaker 5: I don't know what to trade. It doesn't It's to
- 5:27Speaker 5: be something unique.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Something unique, and maybe something useful that one of us
- 5:30Speaker 3: might really you.
- 5:31Speaker 5: Know, I really need if you have a yacht on
- 5:34Speaker 5: Lake Lewisville. Yeah, that's fine.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Yeah, we're exactly perfect. So let's kick off the show
- 5:39Speaker 2: right now.
- 5:40Speaker 1: As his top stories on the Tents with Billy the
- 5:42Speaker 1: Kids in the.
- 5:43Speaker 4: Morning only on the New Mixed one or two point nine.
- 5:46Speaker 5: Right and early out of Monday morning. Candice Lopez, what
- 5:49Speaker 5: is going.
- 5:49Speaker 2: On in our world?
- 5:50Speaker 3: Yeah, well, some serious news out of forty ID. They're
- 5:53Speaker 3: part of a multi agency investigation stemming from misconduct allegations
- 5:57Speaker 3: at Crosby Elementary School. So the principal, a teacher, and
- 6:01Speaker 3: a number of teachers' aids were let go and will
- 6:04Speaker 3: not be returning.
- 6:05Speaker 6: That's according to the district. They're saying.
- 6:07Speaker 3: The teacher in question was hired back in October under
- 6:10Speaker 3: a name with a clean background check, but they later
- 6:13Speaker 3: learned that he actually had legally changed his name before
- 6:16Speaker 3: being hired by forty ISD, but he was facing charges
- 6:21Speaker 3: under his previous name, and I guess he was acquitted
- 6:25Speaker 3: in that case. But there are parents saying that that's
- 6:27Speaker 3: because the child involved was nonverbal and that that family
- 6:31Speaker 3: later moved away and never testified. But this is all
- 6:34Speaker 3: under investigation by forty police, CPS, and the state. They
- 6:39Speaker 3: haven't released specific details, but the families involved have been
- 6:42Speaker 3: contacted directly about this misconduct.
- 6:45Speaker 6: But I'm hearing it could.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Be up to nine students that were involved in this.
- 6:49Speaker 3: I believe it was a first grade a special education teacher,
- 6:53Speaker 3: but there were aids and they're saying other staff who
- 6:55Speaker 3: witnessed this misconduct and didn't report it immediately and that's
- 6:59Speaker 3: why they were moved from their positions at the school.
- 7:01Speaker 5: So wait, so this guy got through the system by
- 7:04Speaker 5: changing his name correct and then was doing misconduct.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Yes, so we don't know what type, but yeah, so
- 7:13Speaker 3: the way that he was able to kind of slip
- 7:15Speaker 3: through the cracks in all of this, I mean huge
- 7:17Speaker 3: red flags.
- 7:18Speaker 6: Yeah, for the.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Principal, teacher, teacher's aides, a number of you know, staff
- 7:22Speaker 3: at this elementary school to just be removed immediately like that.
- 7:25Speaker 3: I mean, it's pretty serious. So yeah, just thinking about
- 7:28Speaker 3: everyone in forty because that's got to be tough for families,
- 7:31Speaker 3: tough for you know, students at that school.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean and special education teacher.
- 7:36Speaker 6: Yeah, it's awful.
- 7:37Speaker 2: What is going on?
- 7:38Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 7:39Speaker 3: Yeah, So I'll keep you posted if there's any updates.
- 7:42Speaker 3: And we should talk about Spirit Airlines guys shutting down
- 7:45Speaker 3: Saturday morning and abruptly canceling service. Seventeen thousand workers lost
- 7:50Speaker 3: their jobs. They left travelers stranded. You know, as of
- 7:54Speaker 3: May twenty twenty four, I guess they operated just over
- 7:57Speaker 3: three thousand, three percent of the domestic flights, and this
- 8:00Speaker 3: month that number would have been around one person. But
- 8:04Speaker 3: there's all these movements online to save Spirit Airlines.
- 8:08Speaker 5: Do we really want that? Listen, I don't want anyone
- 8:11Speaker 5: to lose their job. No, I really don't. Then again,
- 8:15Speaker 5: I've flown Spirit once and I had the worst airline
- 8:18Speaker 5: experience of my entire life, right, literally canceled. Can't My
- 8:23Speaker 5: flight was canceled for no reason? No, not only First
- 8:26Speaker 5: of all, it was left early, right, then it was canceled.
- 8:29Speaker 5: Then the next day was canceled, and I dealt with
- 8:33Speaker 5: the rudest people I've ever dealt with your entire in
- 8:36Speaker 5: my entire life.
- 8:37Speaker 2: So do I want to see people lose their jobs?
- 8:39Speaker 4: No?
- 8:39Speaker 2: But is this just or is this just capitalism at play?
- 8:42Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 8:42Speaker 5: You know where I'm sorry, But the best businesses and
- 8:45Speaker 5: the worst businesses are going to sort themselves out.
- 8:48Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Does the government need to come in and save everybody
- 8:50Speaker 2: all the time? I don't know.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, this was kind of a joke to
- 8:54Speaker 3: save Spirit online.
- 8:56Speaker 6: But there's a.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Website let's buy Spirit air dot com and it says,
- 8:59Speaker 3: you know, this website I crashed because how many people went,
- 9:01Speaker 3: you know, and made pledges that they can't even take donations.
- 9:05Speaker 3: At the moment, I can't tell this is still a joke,
- 9:07Speaker 3: but they're claiming there have been over eighty eight million
- 9:10Speaker 3: dollars pledged already by one hundred and twenty four thousand people.
- 9:15Speaker 3: But it has been nice to see some of the
- 9:17Speaker 3: other airlines, you know, stepping up to help these customers
- 9:20Speaker 3: up Spirit that were stranded. And then I think Southwest
- 9:23Speaker 3: actually they Spirit had a guy who was retiring from
- 9:26Speaker 3: their airline and he ended up taking a Southwest flight,
- 9:29Speaker 3: and so they did the whole retirement ceremony for him
- 9:31Speaker 3: and had like the water thing that they do, you know,
- 9:35Speaker 3: once day landed, but they really treated.
- 9:37Speaker 6: Him like he was, you know, retiring from Southwest.
- 9:39Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, I feel bad for the employees.
- 9:41Speaker 5: Don't get me wrong, the Spirit employees who lost their job,
- 9:43Speaker 5: and the pilots and every I do.
- 9:46Speaker 2: So it's not funny.
- 9:47Speaker 5: But my friend the first time he's flown Spirit this weekend,
- 9:52Speaker 5: the first time ever. He literally is stuck in New Orleans.
- 9:57Speaker 6: Now because.
- 10:00Speaker 5: You're somewhere and all of a sudden, you say, your
- 10:03Speaker 5: ticket's going to be refunded.
- 10:04Speaker 2: We don't exist anymore, right, He's like, what do you mean?
- 10:07Speaker 6: Figure it out?
- 10:07Speaker 2: You don't exist. He's never flown it before.
- 10:10Speaker 6: That's insane.
- 10:11Speaker 5: And our friend who it's the same reason, our friendship
- 10:16Speaker 5: chip Al. He's the one who got me to fly
- 10:18Speaker 5: Spirit's dude, come on, man, it's cheap, it doesn't matter.
- 10:22Speaker 5: Get on, Yeah, it's fine, who cares. I've never had
- 10:25Speaker 5: a problem. He like works for Spirit Lok. Yeah, he's
- 10:28Speaker 5: the one that convinced our buddy to do And guess
- 10:30Speaker 5: what now he's driving back from New Orleans. Did you
- 10:33Speaker 5: see what they did in a df let the Spirit
- 10:35Speaker 5: get in DFW. No, they already made it a Spirit
- 10:37Speaker 5: Halloween store.
- 10:40Speaker 6: I did see the.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Meme of the plane though, outfitted in the Spirit.
- 10:45Speaker 6: That's awful, It's hilarious. But real quick, guys.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Sources are saying Harry Styles and Zoe Kravitz could be
- 10:52Speaker 3: planning two weddings, possibly in London and one in New York.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Her dad, you know, Lenny Kravitz, lives in New York.
- 10:59Speaker 3: But uh, this is all happening really fast because I
- 11:01Speaker 3: don't even think we knew they were even dating until
- 11:03Speaker 3: August of last year. Yeah, unless they kept it super
- 11:06Speaker 3: low key.
- 11:07Speaker 5: Annoyed. I woke up and I saw this. I was
- 11:10Speaker 5: maybe I'm just a little bit crabby. I'm a snap
- 11:12Speaker 5: out of it. Let me drink this coffee. But two
- 11:14Speaker 5: weddings annoyed me. Not why one wedding annoys me? What
- 11:18Speaker 5: do you need two weddings for?
- 11:19Speaker 3: Well, I guess for like his people. You know, he
- 11:22Speaker 3: wants a British wedding maybe and she wants you know,
- 11:24Speaker 3: an American or go there. Y'all have enough money, though
- 11:27Speaker 3: I don't understand why we would do that.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Just have one wedding and fly your people out to
- 11:31Speaker 2: see you.
- 11:32Speaker 5: Right, I hope you have two divorces that I plan
- 11:36Speaker 5: on having two divorces. If you're gonna have two weddings,
- 11:38Speaker 5: have two divorces, you gonna go to both weddings. I
- 11:41Speaker 5: don't go to one.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Yeah, because if I'm in New York, I'm like, no,
- 11:44Speaker 3: I want to travel to London.
- 11:45Speaker 6: But then London is probably like, oh, no, I want
- 11:47Speaker 6: to travel to New York.
- 11:48Speaker 3: Yeah, it's gonna be like everyone from the other city.
- 11:50Speaker 6: Probably.
- 11:51Speaker 5: It must be nice to be so rich to have
- 11:53Speaker 5: two weddings. We can barely afford one. Yeah, amen, gas
- 11:56Speaker 5: price is so high you want me to fly to
- 11:57Speaker 5: the UK on spirit to see you?
- 12:00Speaker 2: What come on super Mad Today?
- 12:05Speaker 6: That those are your Texas top stories?
- 12:07Speaker 2: Shall we fake news?
- 12:10Speaker 5: All right?
- 12:10Speaker 2: I said Candace po.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Iquila, Why are you sweating?
- 12:16Speaker 5: Because, by the way, I love the Pooh's video of
- 12:19Speaker 5: him us praying in with the tequila went viral.
- 12:22Speaker 2: I love it.
- 12:23Speaker 6: I cannot believe.
- 12:25Speaker 5: So if you haven't seen it, Pooh, well we told
- 12:27Speaker 5: him that it was one shot of tequila, two shots
- 12:30Speaker 5: of water and don't make a face, and we'll try
- 12:33Speaker 5: to guess which one, and he did it. Of course,
- 12:35Speaker 5: all three shots were tequila. It went viral online and
- 12:40Speaker 5: I'm dying at some of the comments. It's at Mix
- 12:43Speaker 5: one or two nine FM. You gotta go see it.
- 12:45Speaker 5: And you know what mixes Instagram is so close to
- 12:48Speaker 5: ten thousand followers.
- 12:49Speaker 6: I want to find ten thousand followers going to be.
- 12:52Speaker 5: Yeah, you'll win a date with pooh ooh. I don't
- 12:56Speaker 5: care if you're a man woman. That's not the wrong

- 13:05Speaker 5: get your mind on the gutter. It's not It's a.
- 13:07Speaker 6: Game I go to.
- 13:10Speaker 2: People would love that. I mean, who's fun to hang
- 13:12Speaker 2: out with?
- 13:12Speaker 4: It is?
- 13:13Speaker 2: It's not fun to work with.
- 13:18Speaker 5: Oh okay, let's go reel or fake news. I'm gonna
- 13:21Speaker 5: give you three headlines. You gotta tell me which one
- 13:22Speaker 5: is the fake story? And our news is.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Ridiculous, So here we go.
- 13:26Speaker 5: First headline, Zebra escapes from Zoo turns out to be
- 13:31Speaker 5: just a donkey painted with white stripes. Zebra Escapes from
- 13:37Speaker 5: Zoo turns out to be just a donkey painted with
- 13:40Speaker 5: white stripes. Headline number two, A Texas ice cream shop
- 13:45Speaker 5: is serving crawfish flavored ice cream with an actual crawfish
- 13:49Speaker 5: on top. A Texas ice cream shop is serving crawfish

- 13:57Speaker 2: Headline number two.
- 13:57Speaker 5: Headline number three Florida man or rested after trying to
- 14:01Speaker 5: trade his wife to a bass Pro Shops employee. Florida
- 14:07Speaker 5: man arrested after trying to trade his wife to a
- 14:10Speaker 5: Bass Pro Shops employee.
- 14:13Speaker 2: He doesn't say what he was trading for.
- 14:15Speaker 6: He was trying to his own.
- 14:17Speaker 5: He was doing tradio radio, which we're doing at eight thirty.
- 14:19Speaker 5: Of our phones work because we got nidos and mystery
- 14:21Speaker 5: dumplings to trade. So figure out what you want to trade.
- 14:25Speaker 5: Not your wife though, No, sorry, we don't need that. No,
- 14:28Speaker 5: all right? Uh oh, this is tough today. Which one
- 14:31Speaker 5: is the fake? Headline? Candice Lopez? Would you like to
- 14:34Speaker 5: go first? Or would you like to pass it to Sweaty
- 14:36Speaker 5: Lapoo Poo today?
- 14:38Speaker 6: I think I'll go first today. This is really hard.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Lock me in for that second story, the crawfish ice cream.
- 14:45Speaker 5: Yeah, because doesn't that sound just disgusting? All right, let's
- 14:49Speaker 5: lock it in. It is officially locked in. Okay, producer, pooh,
- 14:52Speaker 5: you're sweating over there. You've had a lot of technical
- 14:54Speaker 5: difficulties also because I think you're just sweaty.
- 14:58Speaker 2: In general, some people just sweat.
- 15:01Speaker 6: It's okay today it is.
- 15:03Speaker 2: It's muggy, I'm pretty sure.
- 15:04Speaker 5: Pool.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Which one do you think is the fake story?
- 15:06Speaker 1: Lock me in for that last story, the guy trying
- 15:09Speaker 1: to trade his wife.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Let's catch it all right, let's lock that in. And
- 15:11Speaker 2: you sure you want to.
- 15:12Speaker 5: Lock that in?
- 15:13Speaker 1: Yeah, ain't nobody trying to trade his wife? Like, let's
- 15:15Speaker 1: lock it in.
- 15:16Speaker 2: It is locked in?
- 15:18Speaker 5: And the winner today starting off his week with a win.
- 15:21Speaker 5: It's producer pooh, oh my god, he's not winning here,
- 15:27Speaker 5: but I'm not winning behind the scenes. But really fake news,
- 15:33Speaker 5: he's winning congratulations poo. Yeah, so that story, it is
- 15:37Speaker 5: a fake. It had me fooled though. I saw this
- 15:40Speaker 5: story and I'm like, what is this guy doing? And
- 15:42Speaker 5: it looked like a whole entire story that was written
- 15:45Speaker 5: up where this guy had a contract he brought his
- 15:47Speaker 5: wife in trying to trade her for a bass boat,
- 15:49Speaker 5: and I was like, what is going on? And then
- 15:52Speaker 5: I finally realized it was fake, But it had me
- 15:54Speaker 5: for a minute. Wow, I'd do some serious investigating games
- 15:58Speaker 5: all right. Yeah, this story one of the real stories.
- 16:01Speaker 5: A Texas ice cream shop is serving crawfish flavored ice
- 16:04Speaker 5: cream is a real story.
- 16:07Speaker 2: This is just oh man, I don't get it.
- 16:09Speaker 5: Yeah, Texas ice cream shop is going viral for serving
- 16:12Speaker 5: crawfish flavored ice cream, one of the most unusual food
- 16:14Speaker 5: trends right now. The dessert blends sweet ice cream with
- 16:16Speaker 5: buttery garlicky Cajun seasoning inspired by a traditional crawfish boil,
- 16:22Speaker 5: creating a mix of sweet, salty, and spicy flavors. The
- 16:26Speaker 5: shop tops each scoop with a whole crawfish, and customers
- 16:30Speaker 5: are even encouraged to use the shell as a spoon.
- 16:33Speaker 5: Despite how bizarre it sounds, the flavor has become a
- 16:36Speaker 5: fan favorite During crawfish season, it often sells out due
- 16:41Speaker 5: to high demand the places in Houston.
- 16:42Speaker 2: I looked it up.
- 16:43Speaker 5: It's called Red Circle, Red Circle ice Cream Shop. So
- 16:46Speaker 5: if you're down there and you want to throw up there,
- 16:48Speaker 5: you go.
- 16:49Speaker 3: I like crawfish too, Yeah too, since I had it,
- 16:52Speaker 3: but I remember liking them.
- 16:53Speaker 2: I was just thinking about that.
- 16:54Speaker 5: I'm like, you know what, I know everything about Cannis,
- 16:56Speaker 5: but I don't know if you like crawfish.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I went to one Fish Boril back in college.
- 17:02Speaker 6: Yeah, my friend Audre her dad used.
- 17:04Speaker 5: To do it. It's good.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I remember it being good. That's I don't remember
- 17:07Speaker 3: a whole lot.
- 17:07Speaker 2: I need to take you right up the street. One
- 17:09Speaker 2: of the best places right here.
- 17:10Speaker 6: Oh yeah, Nate's.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Yes, Nate's Seafood.
- 17:14Speaker 6: Oh sounds good.
- 17:15Speaker 5: I used to go there back in the day. I
- 17:16Speaker 5: don't know if he's still around, but I love that guy, Nate.
- 17:19Speaker 5: Nate would get blasted in his bar. He did something
- 17:23Speaker 5: that was so smart. I saw. I witness this first hand.
- 17:26Speaker 5: He got drunk at his own bar, right, and I'm like, oh,
- 17:29Speaker 5: he can't drive, and he's like, no, I can't drive.
- 17:32Speaker 2: He called Triple A.
- 17:33Speaker 5: To say his car was broke down and had it
- 17:35Speaker 5: towed to his house so it would be there when
- 17:38Speaker 5: he woke up. Sounds like wow, smart life.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Right exactly.
- 17:47Speaker 5: Okay. Next story, Zebra escapes from zoo turns out to
- 17:50Speaker 5: be a donkey painted with white stripes. What so this
- 17:54Speaker 5: happened in Armenia. Yeah, Monday morning, I guess it was
- 17:58Speaker 5: some morning. Everybody woke up and they were like, eight
- 18:00Speaker 5: was zebra has escaped the city zoo. It was roaming
- 18:02Speaker 5: around one of the Capitol's busiest streets. Police and emergency
- 18:05Speaker 5: services were dispatched. They're trying to figure out what's going on.
- 18:08Speaker 5: The zebra was quickly corralled and tied up by zoo's
- 18:11Speaker 5: staff and bystanders. Only one problem. It wasn't a zebra.
- 18:16Speaker 5: It was a donkey that somebody had painted with black
- 18:19Speaker 5: and white stripes, and they took it to the zoo.
- 18:24Speaker 5: Outside of the zoo and people were taking pictures with it.
- 18:27Speaker 5: They were charging people to take pictures with the donkey.
- 18:31Speaker 5: They was painted like a zebra and actually making money
- 18:34Speaker 5: and people didn't even know. I think I would know, Yeah,
- 18:38Speaker 5: I mean for sure? Or would I Then again, I
- 18:40Speaker 5: don't know. I didn't see a real life count until
- 18:42Speaker 5: I was like twenty one a point.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Would I know? Yeah, if somebody would know.
- 18:46Speaker 5: I mean, donkeys aren't Donkeys and zebras are pretty much
- 18:49Speaker 5: the same, right.
- 18:51Speaker 6: Have like the nice hair?
- 18:52Speaker 2: No, I don't think they have.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Nice Donkeys make the eawsome.
- 18:56Speaker 2: I mean you excuse me. You know when a donkey
- 18:58Speaker 2: makes his a little noise. Zebras eon, Yeah, what does
- 19:02Speaker 2: zebra sound like?
- 19:03Speaker 1: Zebra just does a like a like a it sounds
- 19:06Speaker 1: like it's gargle in his throat, like look it up.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Really, yeah, I've only seen them at Disney World.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Should we do guess that animals sound with? Pooh?
- 19:17Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 19:17Speaker 2: Okay?
- 19:18Speaker 5: What does his zebra sound like?
- 19:19Speaker 7: Like?
- 19:20Speaker 1: It does like a gard It sounds like it's zebra
- 19:22Speaker 1: bird No, it just it just does like a weird
- 19:25Speaker 1: gurgle sound.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Is it bird man?
- 19:27Speaker 5: No?
- 19:29Speaker 2: Okay? So what is a donkey sounding?
- 19:30Speaker 5: Pop? Uh?
- 19:33Speaker 2: You know? Okay? Yeah, all right?
- 19:38Speaker 5: When I see zebra, you do zebra. When I say donkey,
- 19:41Speaker 5: do donkey? Okay, zebra.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Donkey.
- 19:47Speaker 5: I don't ever want to hear anybody say who isn't talented?
- 19:51Speaker 2: Okay, hopefully you're having a good morning.
- 19:54Speaker 5: NIX mixed one on two point nine and Bill at
- 19:55Speaker 5: a Kid Candy Slow Pants producer.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Pooh, it's been a mess over here. I'm not gonna lie.
- 20:00Speaker 5: Definitely feels like a Monday because, well, first of all,
- 20:03Speaker 5: our AC is not working right in here in this building,
- 20:06Speaker 5: so we have like a portable AC unit outside. It's
- 20:09Speaker 5: blowing in here. We had to shut that off because
- 20:10Speaker 5: you've got to go on the air. It'll pick it up.
- 20:12Speaker 5: One two. The request lines aren't working right. We're trying
- 20:15Speaker 5: to figure that out. Poo's and shambles because we're doing
- 20:19Speaker 5: tradio radio a little bit later on. We're kicking it
- 20:20Speaker 5: off at eight thirty. We got to have them right
- 20:22Speaker 5: because we're giving away nidos in mystery dumplings exactly.
- 20:25Speaker 2: That's a big deal.
- 20:27Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a big I mean, I guess oh people
- 20:29Speaker 5: want them back.
- 20:30Speaker 6: We're waiting in line outside five below and that's why
- 20:32Speaker 6: we do it, Yeah, to get these.
- 20:34Speaker 5: We're not doing it because we want them. We're doing
- 20:35Speaker 5: it because we know you want these, so we're trying
- 20:37Speaker 5: to hook you up. So we got something to give
- 20:39Speaker 5: away all week eight thirty. Tradio radio trade is something.
- 20:42Speaker 5: Last time, we got a goat. It doesn't have to
- 20:44Speaker 5: be a live animal. It could be. Yeah, but we'll
- 20:46Speaker 5: do that at eight thirty. We'll get the phones work.
- 20:47Speaker 5: And I'm totally confident producer Pooh. Yeah, by the way,
- 20:53Speaker 5: speaking of live animals, producer Pooh might have been right
- 20:57Speaker 5: about something.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I know this is I might have been right.
- 21:01Speaker 5: Yeah, let me I know mark the date. I'm okay.
- 21:05Speaker 5: We were talking about zebras and donkeys and Pooh said, now,
- 21:09Speaker 5: what did you before you get all excited.
- 21:11Speaker 2: What did you say? A zebra sounds like again, like
- 21:13Speaker 2: it's gurgling.
- 21:14Speaker 1: It's like like that something like that.
- 21:20Speaker 5: If you want something to cheer you up on Monday morning,
- 21:23Speaker 5: just have Pooh come in and do animals sounds. Yeah,
- 21:26Speaker 5: it sounds like it's gurgling. So I had Candace pull
- 21:28Speaker 5: up a what a zebra sounds like? Yeah, he's not
- 21:31Speaker 5: that far off. Let me let me be the wait
- 21:32Speaker 5: before I say he's right, let me hear yeah, this
- 21:34Speaker 5: is zebra that yeah, I just yeah, oh, let's all right,
- 21:42Speaker 5: let's play a game, is it? Who are the actual zebra?
- 21:48Speaker 5: All right, you're not that Okay, let me play because
- 21:51Speaker 5: I thought, well, donkeys and zebra's probably sound alike. No, no,
- 21:55Speaker 5: how did you know what a zebra sounds like?
- 21:58Speaker 1: Because I watched Madagascar?
- 22:00Speaker 4: Is that? How? Like?
- 22:06Speaker 1: I got kids?
- 22:07Speaker 4: Man?
- 22:07Speaker 1: I watched madagas car Okay, let me hear when he
- 22:09Speaker 1: saw his family they made that noise.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Let me know what a donkey sounds like? Real quick? Yeah, well,
- 22:14Speaker 2: you want to do the donkey sound real quick?
- 22:16Speaker 5: Yeah? Go ahead?
- 22:18Speaker 3: Okay, wow, okay, let's hear the real donkey sound.
- 22:27Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, I just didn't have it at the beginning
- 22:29Speaker 5: of that sound, hold on, let me hear the beginning
- 22:31Speaker 5: of the donkey again, hold let me pull?
- 22:36Speaker 2: Why does that remind me of the song? That reminds
- 22:39Speaker 2: me of that song? Who's It? By Luke Combs? Oh,
- 22:42Speaker 2: let me.
- 22:47Speaker 5: You know that song?
- 22:50Speaker 2: Let Me put You Here, never broke? Let's put him together?
- 22:54Speaker 2: All right?
- 23:02Speaker 5: My god, It's Texas Tough Stories on the Tents with
- 23:06Speaker 5: Billy the Kid in the.
- 23:07Speaker 4: Morning only on the new mixed one O two point nine.
- 23:10Speaker 5: Got the Dirty Little Secret coming up next. Get ready
- 23:12Speaker 5: for that. It's an emotional one too. Is this you
- 23:15Speaker 5: just wait to hear this. I haven't heard the full store.
- 23:17Speaker 5: I don't like here in the full Store, but I
- 23:18Speaker 5: kind of know what's going on a little bit. Yeah,
- 23:20Speaker 5: this woman is going through it with her husband.
- 23:24Speaker 2: That's all also going through it. So Candice, what's going on?
- 23:28Speaker 3: Well, the votes were counted and this weekend's election. Dart
- 23:30Speaker 3: services will be coming to an end in Highland Park
- 23:33Speaker 3: this month, but will continue in Addison and University Park.
- 23:37Speaker 3: So they had elections over the weekend because of the
- 23:40Speaker 3: City of Plano. So they first announced their intention to
- 23:43Speaker 3: leave this alliance, saying it's tax contributions weren't worth the
- 23:47Speaker 3: benefits to residents. Well, Plano Farmers Branch in Irving then
- 23:51Speaker 3: had you know, initially planned elections and then cancel them
- 23:54Speaker 3: after they negotiated their agreements. So buses will continue to
- 23:58Speaker 3: operate through Highland Park, but will not stop.
- 24:00Speaker 6: Within those city limits.
- 24:02Speaker 3: That is expected to take effect May fifteenth.
- 24:05Speaker 5: Yeah, so you can't get the bus in Highland Park.
- 24:07Speaker 6: No, not as of May fifteenth. Yeah, it's gonna go away.
- 24:11Speaker 2: So what if I work somewhere in Highland Park.
- 24:13Speaker 6: Yeah, well you're going to figure it out.
- 24:15Speaker 3: Yeah, you're gonna have to go past Highland Park and
- 24:17Speaker 3: then come around some other way take a car.
- 24:19Speaker 6: I don't know how they.
- 24:20Speaker 5: Don't want to work for people, they don't want the
- 24:22Speaker 5: buses in Highland Park.
- 24:23Speaker 6: No, yeah, yeah, okay.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a it's been a hot topic for I
- 24:29Speaker 3: mean pretty much all year. I know the CEO there
- 24:32Speaker 3: was a change there with Dart, but we just had,
- 24:35Speaker 3: you know, the new Silver Line being built up in
- 24:37Speaker 3: Blano and Richardson area, which is beautiful.
- 24:41Speaker 6: Yeah. So it's you know, city by.
- 24:42Speaker 2: City Okay, you know, no, you could do that.
- 24:45Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 24:46Speaker 2: So I live in Carrollton.
- 24:47Speaker 5: We could put something on the books to vote if
- 24:49Speaker 5: we don't want buses in our city.
- 24:51Speaker 6: Yeah, well the dart service.
- 24:53Speaker 2: The dart service, right, Okay, so.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Maybe there's another option that they're gonna come up with.
- 24:58Speaker 6: Maybe you just can't stop there. Yeah, so is it.
- 25:01Speaker 5: Too poor for.
- 25:04Speaker 6: Well?
- 25:04Speaker 2: I no, I just don't like the site of a bus.
- 25:09Speaker 2: A bus is just just grody.
- 25:12Speaker 5: It just looks so I don't know, it's just so
- 25:14Speaker 5: big and it's it's not even a Mercedes, Like you're
- 25:19Speaker 5: just going to drive this bus through our city.
- 25:22Speaker 3: I mean, it's paying for the taxes for the service,
- 25:25Speaker 3: and then maybe the residents aren't using it. Maybe that's
- 25:27Speaker 3: part of the issue. But I don't live at Highland Park.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Anyways.
- 25:34Speaker 6: Can let's talk about McDonald's guys.
- 25:37Speaker 3: They are quietly getting rid of their self serve soda fountains.
- 25:40Speaker 3: So this plan is to completely get rid of them
- 25:43Speaker 3: by twenty thirty two. They would be only behind the counter.
- 25:47Speaker 3: They're saying this would help modernize restaurants, reduce maintenance and
- 25:51Speaker 3: labor demands, and also really adapt to the demand for.
- 25:54Speaker 6: Drive through delivery and takeout. So, yeah, which one do
- 25:57Speaker 6: you want?
- 25:57Speaker 5: Do you want us to have people there or no,
- 26:00Speaker 5: because how am I going to get a drink freefill?
- 26:01Speaker 7: Right?
- 26:01Speaker 3: I'm confused too because my McDonald's has like the you know,
- 26:05Speaker 3: self serve chiosks, right, So did I have to wait
- 26:08Speaker 3: to talk to somebody exactly?
- 26:09Speaker 2: Which to guess what?
- 26:10Speaker 5: Nobody comes to the front now if you have self service,
- 26:13Speaker 5: So now I gotta wait.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Just let me get my soda?
- 26:15Speaker 6: Right.
- 26:17Speaker 3: Yeah, they're saying this would also give them more control
- 26:19Speaker 3: over portion sizes, cleanliness, and inventory.
- 26:23Speaker 6: So yeah, you can't take your.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Water cup and just no, I've done that my entire life.
- 26:28Speaker 2: I've taken it.
- 26:28Speaker 5: Literally, I don't know how McDonald's keeps the lights on
- 26:31Speaker 5: because I've stole so much spry.
- 26:34Speaker 2: No, I haven't kidding.
- 26:37Speaker 5: They just actually Highland Park just announced that they kicked
- 26:39Speaker 5: all McDonald's out of the city.
- 26:41Speaker 2: They voted there's no more McDonald's in Highland Park.
- 26:44Speaker 4: Well.
- 26:45Speaker 3: McDonald's also launching six new drinks this week at some
- 26:48Speaker 3: of their locations, so they're getting in on like the
- 26:50Speaker 3: dirty soda trend, so with these refreshers and crafted sodas,
- 26:53Speaker 3: So maybe they're hoping that's more your jam. Moving forward,
- 26:57Speaker 3: real quick, guys, post alone cancel the start of his tour.
- 27:00Speaker 3: A six shows were part of this, including his shows
- 27:03Speaker 3: in Texas. That tour will now kick off June twelfth
- 27:06Speaker 3: in Indianapolis. So postpone saying he needs more time to
- 27:10Speaker 3: finish his double album before this tour starts. And you know,
- 27:14Speaker 3: people are saying this could have something to do with
- 27:16Speaker 3: low ticket sales. I know some of the shows were
- 27:18Speaker 3: offering discounts already for those tickets.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Well yeah, it.
- 27:23Speaker 5: Also could have something to do with the fact that
- 27:25Speaker 5: life is really expensive right now. Yeah, and people don't
- 27:28Speaker 5: have disposable income for an expensive concert ticket.
- 27:31Speaker 6: I love Posts, No, I do too.
- 27:32Speaker 3: I was really hoping to go down to Waco to
- 27:35Speaker 3: see him, but that show was on a weeknight. Also,
- 27:37Speaker 3: I know, and it's like, I mean, Waco people would go,
- 27:40Speaker 3: but people from Dyftoby are going to drive to Waco on.
- 27:42Speaker 5: A weeknight school So ye, No, I think it's a
- 27:46Speaker 5: couple of factors. I mean, I think people want to
- 27:47Speaker 5: see Posts, but oh yeah, it's expensive, it's in Waco.
- 27:50Speaker 6: It's the same tour.
- 27:51Speaker 5: It's the same tour as went around before. So I
- 27:54Speaker 5: don't think it's a bad thing if you take some
- 27:56Speaker 5: time off.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Yeah, he posted those saying, you know, he promises that
- 27:58Speaker 3: new music. He's promised it, doesn't have time to finish it.
- 28:02Speaker 3: He's just not ready to tour. So if he pushes
- 28:04Speaker 3: it back three weeks, that'll help get the music done.
- 28:06Speaker 3: So yeah, I'm Candislop Pez. Those are your Texas Top stories.
- 28:09Speaker 4: On get it off your test to promise you'll feel better.
- 28:14Speaker 5: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret makes one of two
- 28:16Speaker 5: point nine appeeling a kid Canda Sloan Pens, producer food.
- 28:18Speaker 5: Don't forget we're doing it eight thirty. I still have
- 28:21Speaker 5: it down that we're doing tradio radio. I don't care
- 28:22Speaker 5: what kind of obstacle we face with these requests lines.
- 28:25Speaker 5: We're gonna make it happen, don't you worry. Yes, we
- 28:27Speaker 5: have Nidos and mystery dumplings to give away, which people
- 28:30Speaker 5: are standing the line for hours and hours for it.
- 28:32Speaker 5: They're going on, it's crazy. We want on sale for
- 28:35Speaker 5: one hundreds of dollars online. Yeah, it's crazy. These toys
- 28:37Speaker 5: everybody wants, we got them. We're gonna do it all week,
- 28:39Speaker 5: eight thirty Tradio Radio. So figure out something you want
- 28:42Speaker 5: to trade. Okay, now, Dirty Little secrets. Whatever your secret is,
- 28:45Speaker 5: you can confess at eight three three seven eight seven
- 28:47Speaker 5: one O two nine or right now, it's probably best
- 28:50Speaker 5: to go to at mix one of two nine FM
- 28:52Speaker 5: on Instagram and we could set it up there because
- 28:54Speaker 5: our request lines are down, but they're being.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Rebuilt by Brad.
- 28:57Speaker 5: Who Brad is I don't know, but he's in our computer,
- 29:00Speaker 5: poos said, who has never sweated so hard in his life.
- 29:04Speaker 5: He's running around I deserve he deserves Chipotle today or
- 29:08Speaker 5: maybe another shot at tequila. I don't know.
- 29:10Speaker 2: All right, you've got a secret, you let us know,
- 29:12Speaker 2: and you have one. What's going on?
- 29:14Speaker 7: I do. I've been going back and forth on calling
- 29:17Speaker 7: you guys, but I really don't have anyone to talk
- 29:19Speaker 7: to about this.
- 29:20Speaker 5: So well, that's what we're here for, where it's a
- 29:22Speaker 5: non judgment zone. What is going on in your world?
- 29:25Speaker 7: Well, I've been married, and we've only been married a
- 29:28Speaker 7: couple of years, so it's still pretty new. And from
- 29:32Speaker 7: the beginning we both wanted the same thing, like a
- 29:35Speaker 7: family with kids, you know, a big house full of noise,
- 29:37Speaker 7: and that was always a part of the plan for
- 29:40Speaker 7: both of us. And because it hadn't worked out that way.
- 29:44Speaker 7: We've been trying and trying and trying, and nothing has happened.
- 29:49Speaker 7: And at first I thought it was me. So I
- 29:52Speaker 7: got tested and I went through all the emotions, like
- 29:55Speaker 7: something's wrong with my body. I'm like broken, I'm something's
- 29:58Speaker 7: not happening right. And then we found out it's not me,
- 30:02Speaker 7: it's him.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Oh okay, And.
- 30:05Speaker 7: I don't even think he realizes how much that changed
- 30:07Speaker 7: everything for me. And I tried to be supportive and
- 30:09Speaker 7: I love him. I love him so much, and he's
- 30:12Speaker 7: a good man, he's a good husband and it's not
- 30:14Speaker 7: his fault. But I feel like ever since I found out,
- 30:18Speaker 7: like there's this big weight on me and I can't
- 30:20Speaker 7: shake it. And I've always pictured myself as a mom.
- 30:23Speaker 7: I've always wanted kids. I wanted that life with my husband,
- 30:28Speaker 7: to have my kids in my house, and so it's
- 30:32Speaker 7: just like, this can't happen now.
- 30:35Speaker 5: I know it's a lot of emotions, but and I'm
- 30:38Speaker 5: not saying this is the same, but I know there's
- 30:40Speaker 5: other you know, there's adoption, there's other things that you
- 30:43Speaker 5: could do.
- 30:46Speaker 7: My friends, yes, I mean we've discussed adoption. I'm not
- 30:49Speaker 7: against it, I'm not, but if I'm being completely honest,
- 30:52Speaker 7: I don't know if I'll feel the same way. Yeah,
- 30:55Speaker 7: and I feel awful saying that, but that's how I feel,
- 30:58Speaker 7: and I can't deny that I feel that way. And
- 31:02Speaker 7: this is a part of like what makes me feel
- 31:04Speaker 7: like I might be the worst wife in the world
- 31:06Speaker 7: or worst person in the world. And I just know
- 31:09Speaker 7: that I know myself and i'd be lying if if,
- 31:12Speaker 7: like if I say this is okay, because like I said,
- 31:15Speaker 7: this has always been my dream and I have thought
- 31:19Speaker 7: about leaving him.
- 31:21Speaker 5: Oh and I.
- 31:23Speaker 7: Haven't said it, and I haven't even come close because
- 31:25Speaker 7: I love him and it's like not his fault, but
- 31:28Speaker 7: it's it's crossed my mind that maybe I should move on.
- 31:31Speaker 7: But I'm like the hold on.
- 31:33Speaker 5: So you're thinking about actually leap, okay, and I'm not.
- 31:36Speaker 5: It's the non judgment zone. You're thinking about leaving him
- 31:39Speaker 5: over this.
- 31:40Speaker 7: Well, I do want to have kids of my own,
- 31:43Speaker 7: and I don't know what else to do because I
- 31:46Speaker 7: do love him and I love the life that we're
- 31:48Speaker 7: building together, but it's not working out, and I just
- 31:52Speaker 7: feel like it's flipping away what I wanted.
- 31:55Speaker 5: I mean, is it not working out? Or is this
- 31:59Speaker 5: the plan? Bigger plan that you know. Sometimes you just
- 32:02Speaker 5: can't control these things. And obviously it's not his fault.
- 32:05Speaker 5: I can't tell you what's right or wrong. There's a
- 32:07Speaker 5: difference between going, oh, you know what, I can't. I
- 32:10Speaker 5: can't say this has never crossed my mind, and I'm
- 32:14Speaker 5: actually gonna do this. Yeah, there's two different things. So
- 32:18Speaker 5: I mean, I guess it just depends on you. If
- 32:20Speaker 5: you love them. I just feel like there's no way
- 32:22Speaker 5: you can leave them over this.
- 32:24Speaker 7: I don't feel like I can leave him either, But
- 32:26Speaker 7: I'm just like hurting myself, and I'm like, how do
- 32:28Speaker 7: I agree without hurting him from keeping everything to myself?
- 32:32Speaker 5: Have you two talked about it, maybe possibly doing counseling
- 32:35Speaker 5: or something like that together, because this is a big deal.
- 32:37Speaker 3: Yeah, you can't hold it inside, but also sharing that
- 32:40Speaker 3: with him is going to just break his heart even worse.
- 32:43Speaker 7: Yeah, I guess we will have to go to counseling
- 32:46Speaker 7: because I don't know what to do from here, because
- 32:48Speaker 7: I'm just questioning everything and feeling like a terrible person
- 32:51Speaker 7: because think.
- 32:51Speaker 5: About it, you leave Let's say you know you've thought
- 32:54Speaker 5: about it, you leave him, you get with somebody else,
- 32:57Speaker 5: you have kids, you think years on the road, you're
- 33:01Speaker 5: not going to look back and go I mean, yeah,
- 33:02Speaker 5: I'm glad i'm a mom, but I can't believe I
- 33:04Speaker 5: left a man that I love right and love because
- 33:08Speaker 5: of something that he can't control.
- 33:10Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 33:11Speaker 5: If these were switched around and it was a man
- 33:14Speaker 5: calling up and saying I'm leaving my wife because she
- 33:16Speaker 5: can't have kids, I think people would be.
- 33:18Speaker 2: In an uproar.
- 33:19Speaker 5: Yeah, and everybody feels different now that you're saying it, right,
- 33:23Speaker 5: And I don't think you're a bad person. I'm just
- 33:25Speaker 5: saying I would really talk to somebody before you let
- 33:28Speaker 5: that thought get out of control or take over reason
- 33:30Speaker 5: for me.
- 33:31Speaker 3: To process you'r how you're feeling before you just jump
- 33:34Speaker 3: and make some type of decision that you can't turn back.
- 33:37Speaker 5: You know, because he's going through all this too, Yeah,
- 33:40Speaker 5: he probably feels so guilty and emasculated, like you know,
- 33:44Speaker 5: it's just horrible.
- 33:45Speaker 7: I wish that things were different, but they're not. So
- 33:48Speaker 7: I have to just face what we have going on.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Well, and some people would be you know, take the
- 33:54Speaker 3: route of this just wasn't meant to be.
- 33:56Speaker 6: It wasn't meant for me to have kids, you know,
- 33:58Speaker 6: it's a tough.
- 33:59Speaker 3: Pill this when you've dreamed of that.
- 34:02Speaker 5: Yeah, I know so many people, so many people go,
- 34:06Speaker 5: especially women. They feel like their main reason they're here
- 34:10Speaker 5: is to be a mom. So if that can't happen,
- 34:13Speaker 5: I get why you feel like there's a big part
- 34:15Speaker 5: of you missing for sure.
- 34:16Speaker 3: But you definitely can't You guys can't work through this
- 34:19Speaker 3: on your own. I would definitely seek professional help do that.
- 34:23Speaker 7: Thank you, thank you so much.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Good luck with everything and let us know what happens
- 34:28Speaker 2: and hang in there.
- 34:29Speaker 7: Okay, okay, thank you so much.
- 34:31Speaker 5: Welcome.
- 34:31Speaker 2: I told you it's deep, Yeah, really deep.
- 34:35Speaker 5: I know.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Hopefully they talk to someone. Yeah, that's why I love
- 34:39Speaker 2: dirty little Secretly. You just never know what you're gonna get.
- 34:41Speaker 5: So but I just feel her pain and I feel
- 34:44Speaker 5: his pain.
- 34:44Speaker 2: He's gonna get on the phone, you know, all right,
- 34:49Speaker 2: he's doing.
- 34:49Speaker 6: For Cannes's court.
- 34:51Speaker 1: It gets settled here with Billy the Kid in the.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Morning, always for the honible judge.
- 34:56Speaker 5: Cannie slow pans in the studio right now, I'm sorry
- 34:58Speaker 5: on the bench. Yeah, as we speak, it's mixed one
- 35:01Speaker 5: or two point nine, all right. Nidos Nido's Mystery dumplings
- 35:04Speaker 5: on the way. We'll do it at eight thirty. We're
- 35:06Speaker 5: doing it no matter what. Yeah, whether the request lines
- 35:09Speaker 5: are working, whether I have to do it by messenger pigeon,
- 35:12Speaker 5: everybody wants these toys.
- 35:13Speaker 6: We'll do it.
- 35:14Speaker 5: We're doing tradio radio. Figure out something you want to
- 35:15Speaker 5: trade and get ready. We got to do it on Instagram.
- 35:17Speaker 5: If I gotta go live on the toll way in
- 35:20Speaker 5: my underwear.
- 35:21Speaker 2: Okay, unnecessary, I didn't do that. Sorry, I didn't even
- 35:24Speaker 2: expect that.
- 35:25Speaker 6: This is a get it down the line somewhere.
- 35:28Speaker 5: Yeah, if you've got an issue at candas on air,
- 35:30Speaker 5: At candas on air on Instagram.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Okay.
- 35:32Speaker 5: This year, I volunteered to coach my son's youth soccer team,
- 35:35Speaker 5: and all season I've been careful not to show him
- 35:38Speaker 5: any favoritism. He's a solid player and usually starts, but
- 35:43Speaker 5: I've always made it a point to treat him like
- 35:45Speaker 5: any other kid. We just had a big playoff game
- 35:48Speaker 5: and it decided to bench him for most of it
- 35:50Speaker 5: because I didn't want anyone thinking I was giving him
- 35:53Speaker 5: special treatment. We ended up losing, and he played only
- 35:58Speaker 5: for a few minutes. I could tell he was upset,
- 36:01Speaker 5: but my wife is furious and says I overcorrected to
- 36:05Speaker 5: the point where I actually hurt our son just to
- 36:08Speaker 5: prove a point to other parents. I thought I was
- 36:12Speaker 5: doing the right thing by being extra fair, but now
- 36:14Speaker 5: I'm second guessing it. We're in a big fight about it.
- 36:18Speaker 5: Did I go too far? Question mark? Question mark? Question mark?
- 36:22Speaker 5: Ah ooh, okay, So he's the coach, which is never easy. Yeah,
- 36:27Speaker 5: when your kid plays. That's why daddy ball they call it,
- 36:31Speaker 5: because usually the coach's kids sometimes play.
- 36:33Speaker 2: A little too much.
- 36:35Speaker 5: In this case, he overcorrected and he benched his kid
- 36:39Speaker 5: because he's like, I don't want to show favoritism, so
- 36:42Speaker 5: he benched him, probably more than he should have.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Candice, what are your initial thoughts?
- 36:46Speaker 3: I mean, you mentioned him for most of a playoff game.
- 36:49Speaker 3: We let alone play for a few minutes. I don't
- 36:51Speaker 3: understand that. You know, now, the kid's upset, the wife's upset.
- 36:56Speaker 3: How is everyone else feeling? Because I just feel like
- 36:59Speaker 3: there's fair and then there's extra fair. And why you
- 37:01Speaker 3: be an extra fair during a playoff game?
- 37:04Speaker 5: Well, you're worried about the way you look when all
- 37:06Speaker 5: you have to do is do the right thing, no
- 37:09Speaker 5: matter how you look, meaning, play it like any other
- 37:12Speaker 5: normal game, right, Play all the kids equally.
- 37:14Speaker 3: If you're always fair, Just continue to be equally as
- 37:17Speaker 3: fair as you always are.
- 37:18Speaker 5: Like, you don't have to sit your son on the
- 37:19Speaker 5: bench for the entire game or extra.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Just to prove a point. Play him as much as
- 37:24Speaker 2: you usually do.
- 37:26Speaker 5: Wait, you know what if it's if it's little league
- 37:28Speaker 5: or whatever, pee wee, play all the kids equally.
- 37:31Speaker 6: Yeah, you just rotate them for sure.
- 37:33Speaker 3: I mean we're all here trying to learn and play
- 37:35Speaker 3: and be a team, you know.
- 37:37Speaker 5: I mean that's like, yeah, I coached baseball back in
- 37:40Speaker 5: the day, and that's what you did. Everybody got a
- 37:42Speaker 5: fair turn. Oh you sit out this inning? Next inning
- 37:44Speaker 5: you shit out.
- 37:47Speaker 1: No, and that's why y'all lose. No, man, I don't
- 37:50Speaker 1: want to should.
- 37:50Speaker 5: Be won championship when I coach, But go ahead, okay, listen.
- 37:55Speaker 1: The problem is nowadays this everybody gets a turn. That's
- 37:58Speaker 1: the problem with Like I don't like when I was
- 38:01Speaker 1: growing up, you and you play soccer, football, whatever. They
- 38:04Speaker 1: put the good people in because you want to win.
- 38:07Speaker 2: But we're talking, pee wee understand that. But that's what
- 38:10Speaker 2: you mean to tell me In little league or whatever.
- 38:13Speaker 5: Let's say it's baseball, because I never really played soccer, right,
- 38:16Speaker 5: Let's say it's baseball. So if the kid's not that good,
- 38:18Speaker 5: he should just ride the manch the entire time, not.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Just not necessarily ride the bench.
- 38:22Speaker 2: But that's what you're saying. But here's the deal.
- 38:26Speaker 1: When when you were first doing the like the pool
- 38:28Speaker 1: of getting your players, I pick out the ones I
- 38:31Speaker 1: know they are gonna do something.
- 38:32Speaker 5: On my team.
- 38:32Speaker 1: I don't want to You don't coach. I coached soccer
- 38:36Speaker 1: one time. Okay, yeah, I played all the good kids
- 38:40Speaker 1: there was there was what a bad Yeah, I ain't
- 38:42Speaker 1: gonna lie to you. There's not about Listen, Nowadays everybody
- 38:46Speaker 1: coddles these kids. Everybody gets to turn or participation in trophy.
- 38:50Speaker 1: I want to win.
- 38:51Speaker 3: Something about well, we want to win too, but we
- 38:53Speaker 3: want our kid to learn and play and have a
- 38:54Speaker 3: good time.
- 38:55Speaker 6: Like this is if he's a volunteer coach. It's not
- 38:57Speaker 6: that serious.
- 38:58Speaker 2: It's not that serious.
- 38:59Speaker 1: Okay, it's I wouldn't I wouldn't have done that.
- 39:02Speaker 2: So let me say this.
- 39:03Speaker 5: So if you're coaching soccer, and you know, let's say
- 39:06Speaker 5: a little timmy who has two left feet you know
- 39:09Speaker 5: you can barely run. You're gonna he's gonna be on
- 39:12Speaker 5: the bench the entire game.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Not the entire get maybe like the last few minutes
- 39:16Speaker 1: after we after we done murdered that team. Yeah, then
- 39:19Speaker 1: I'll put a little team.
- 39:20Speaker 2: It's a playoff game. I want to win.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Like even listen, listen even choir dude nowadays? Yeah, yes,
- 39:28Speaker 1: because kids nowadays, everybody, everybody just participates. What about choir?
- 39:33Speaker 1: What's okay? So yeah, but I had the same arguing
- 39:38Speaker 1: with my baby mama, like car not my son in
- 39:41Speaker 1: choir because my son really can't he really can't sing,
- 39:43Speaker 1: Like why are you in choir? Choir is for people
- 39:48Speaker 1: who can sing? Why why try out?
- 39:51Speaker 2: Because that's what being a kid is all about, talent.
- 39:55Speaker 5: But to me, there's kids that you want to try things,
- 39:58Speaker 5: you want to do things, you want to see what
- 39:59Speaker 5: you're passionate about, and that's the point. And if it's
- 40:01Speaker 5: not the best, then this is the time in life
- 40:03Speaker 5: you can mess up and go okay, if that wasn't
- 40:05Speaker 5: maybe my favorite thing. Or it's also a time where
- 40:08Speaker 5: he learns how to get better and can sing and
- 40:10Speaker 5: capitalize on his vocal talent, where you can learn to sing.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Okay, how about learn to play before you try out?
- 40:17Speaker 6: No sports team.
- 40:21Speaker 1: That's a life lesson. Like if I'm good at my
- 40:24Speaker 1: job and you're not good at your job, you ain't
- 40:26Speaker 1: gonna get the same job.
- 40:27Speaker 5: Well, you know what I mean. We're not talking about
- 40:28Speaker 5: a job. We're talking about kids learning sports.
- 40:30Speaker 1: I'm saying that that's how that reflects in the future.
- 40:33Speaker 5: Jeez, I'm real competitive. I want to win, but I'm
- 40:38Speaker 5: very competitive as well. But when you're teaching kids, you're
- 40:42Speaker 5: teaching it. Yeah, and winning is a part of it,
- 40:44Speaker 5: but it's not the most important part at this age.
- 40:48Speaker 5: There's life skills that you're teaching these kids. It's about
- 40:51Speaker 5: learning how to work as a team.
- 40:52Speaker 3: If we just spend every bench every kid who doesn't
- 40:55Speaker 3: have the quote unquote talent as a you know who
- 40:57Speaker 3: knows they're probably under ten. You're saying youth sports are
- 40:59Speaker 3: probably they're gonna bench their whole life and never know
- 41:02Speaker 3: what they can do.
- 41:03Speaker 5: You're gonna take this kid and it's little Timmy is
- 41:05Speaker 5: gonna hate soccer now because you don't put him in
- 41:08Speaker 5: until the last thirty seconds of the game.
- 41:10Speaker 1: Well, little Timmy can practice on his own while we're winning.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Oh, but if I'm paying you to be on this team,
- 41:16Speaker 3: I need you to teach my kid. I need my
- 41:18Speaker 3: kid to have some experience versus riding the bench all
- 41:21Speaker 3: season because he's not good.
- 41:22Speaker 2: And maybe he does practice and he's just trying to ride,
- 41:24Speaker 2: but he's still come on, yeah, I mean when my kids.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Listen, when my kids played football, sometimes they didn't get
- 41:30Speaker 1: they didn't get to start, but they went home to
- 41:33Speaker 1: practice or whatever. Then the coach played them at the
- 41:35Speaker 1: end of the game and I was like, well, coach,
- 41:38Speaker 1: what do we gotta do to you know, to start?
- 41:40Speaker 1: He was like, I just need him to work on this, this,
- 41:42Speaker 1: this and that, and then guess what. He turned it around.
- 41:44Speaker 1: The next year he started You see what I'm.
- 41:47Speaker 2: Saying, and we won.
- 41:48Speaker 1: Now, Brendan is good.
- 41:50Speaker 5: Yeah, I do see, and that's important part of it.
- 41:52Speaker 5: But until the meantime, did you expect him to play
- 41:56Speaker 5: when he wasn't quote unquote good. No, you didn't expect
- 41:59Speaker 5: him to play.
- 41:59Speaker 1: No, don't get I don't. I don't deal with that.
- 42:01Speaker 1: So his mom was like, that's not fair. I'm like, no,
- 42:05Speaker 1: he needs to work at his craft, get back there,
- 42:07Speaker 1: come back next year.
- 42:08Speaker 2: It's not the NFL. To me, it is no.
- 42:12Speaker 3: I'm I'm just like that coordinating youth sports for so
- 42:15Speaker 3: many reasons, not just this.
- 42:18Speaker 1: But letting everybody get a turn.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Okay, yeah when.
- 42:21Speaker 6: They're little, but they're little.
- 42:23Speaker 5: Yeah, all right, we're not gonna agree. It doesn't matter
- 42:25Speaker 5: what we think. Candas Court, you're the judge. Yeah, you're
- 42:28Speaker 5: the only sane one in this room.
- 42:30Speaker 3: That's a totally different topic than we're talking about this,
- 42:32Speaker 3: Candis Court. But for for this case, look, I think
- 42:34Speaker 3: this guy was guilty of being a sideline.
- 42:36Speaker 6: Sam. It can't.
- 42:39Speaker 3: It's not fair to let your kid only play a
- 42:41Speaker 3: few minutes. Don't be extra fair. Just be as fair
- 42:44Speaker 3: as you've been all season. You sound like a reasonable person,
- 42:47Speaker 3: and I respect that you're trying to be fair and
- 42:49Speaker 3: make an impression.
- 42:49Speaker 6: On the other parents. So let them know.
- 42:51Speaker 3: That everybody's gonna get to play. But what he lost
- 42:53Speaker 3: because of you know, you're being an extra.
- 42:56Speaker 5: Fair I would agree, all right, he's guilty of being
- 42:58Speaker 5: a sideline Sam.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Billy, that's okay.
- 43:02Speaker 5: It's Tess's Top Stories on the Tents with Billy the
- 43:05Speaker 5: Kid in.
- 43:05Speaker 4: The Morning only on the New Mix one O two
- 43:08Speaker 4: point nine.
- 43:09Speaker 5: You got a lot going on this morning at Nidos
- 43:11Speaker 5: and Mystery Dumplings. Everybody wants those. We're doing them inn
- 43:13Speaker 5: eight thirty no matter what, Ty Yeah, we're gonna do
- 43:15Speaker 5: a little tradio radio either way, that'll happen eight to thirty.
- 43:18Speaker 5: Everybody wants these toys. People stand in line for hours.
- 43:21Speaker 5: We're doing this all week long, So hook that up.
- 43:24Speaker 5: Candice Lopes, what is going on.
- 43:25Speaker 3: Well, Forny ID is part of a multi agency investigation
- 43:29Speaker 3: stemming from misconduct allegation. So this is happening at Crosby
- 43:32Speaker 3: Elementary School. The principal, a teacher, and a number of teachers'
- 43:37Speaker 3: aides were let go and will not be returning. So
- 43:40Speaker 3: the district is saying that the teacher in question was
- 43:42Speaker 3: hired back in October under a name with a clean
- 43:45Speaker 3: background check, but they later learned that he had legally
- 43:49Speaker 3: changed his name before being hired by forty ISD. He
- 43:52Speaker 3: was facing charges under that previous name. Now he was
- 43:56Speaker 3: acquitted of those charges in that case, but one parent
- 43:59Speaker 3: is saying that that's because the child involved was nonverbal
- 44:03Speaker 3: and that family later moved away and never testified.
- 44:06Speaker 6: But this is all.
- 44:07Speaker 3: Under investigation by forty police, CPS.
- 44:10Speaker 6: And the state.
- 44:11Speaker 3: They haven't released specific details, but families involved have been
- 44:15Speaker 3: contacted directly. But I'm hearing that it could be up
- 44:17Speaker 3: to nine students that were involved. I believe this was
- 44:21Speaker 3: a first grade special ed teacher. There were aids and
- 44:25Speaker 3: other staff who possibly witnessed the misconduct. It didn't report
- 44:29Speaker 3: it immediately, and that's why they were removed over the weekend. Yeah,
- 44:33Speaker 3: just a developing story there, but it's just really disheartening,
- 44:36Speaker 3: really infuriating for parents.
- 44:38Speaker 5: And families, of course, but we don't know what the
- 44:40Speaker 5: misconduct was just yet, right, all right, Well, you know what,
- 44:43Speaker 5: you deserve a special place, you know where if you
- 44:46Speaker 5: mess with kids.
- 44:47Speaker 3: Yeah, one hundred percent. We got to protect our kids.
- 44:49Speaker 3: So I'll keep you posted on any developments. Also, Sparit
- 44:52Speaker 3: Airlines shut down services Saturday morning at abruptly canceled service.
- 44:57Speaker 6: Seventeen. One thousand workers did lose their jobs.
- 45:01Speaker 3: That's unfortunate, but people are left stranded, you know, book
- 45:03Speaker 3: these flights and then suddenly the airline doesn't exist.
- 45:06Speaker 5: Happened to my friend. He literally in New Orleans, first
- 45:09Speaker 5: time he's ever booked, ever booked Spirit because our other
- 45:12Speaker 5: friend was like do it.
- 45:13Speaker 2: It's never let me down, which he's a liar because
- 45:15Speaker 2: it's let me down, and you do it.
- 45:17Speaker 5: Let me down.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Yeah, he's in New Orleans.
- 45:18Speaker 5: All of a sudden, he gets a little on message like, oh,
- 45:20Speaker 5: by the way, we're out of business.
- 45:21Speaker 2: Good luck at home.
- 45:22Speaker 6: Right, that's awful.
- 45:24Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, and I do feel bad for everyone
- 45:26Speaker 5: losing their jobs, but I'm sorry, I don't care if
- 45:29Speaker 5: they've never had a crash.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Somebody said, well they've never had a crash. Okay, well shouldn't.
- 45:33Speaker 5: I'm sorry.
- 45:33Speaker 6: Yeah, that should be for all airlines.
- 45:35Speaker 2: They.
- 45:36Speaker 5: I had the worst experience on Spirit ever, I mean
- 45:39Speaker 5: the worst. The person talked to me like I was
- 45:41Speaker 5: an idiot.
- 45:42Speaker 2: Oh, it's the.
- 45:43Speaker 5: Rude I mean rude.
- 45:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:46Speaker 5: So you know, listen, I mean, there's a reason you
- 45:51Speaker 5: can get sixty dollars flights. Yeah, and it's not paying
- 45:54Speaker 5: off and the model's not working.
- 45:55Speaker 6: Yeah, definitely not.
- 45:56Speaker 3: I mean as of May twenty twenty four, they operated
- 45:59Speaker 3: just over three percent of domestic flights, and this month
- 46:02Speaker 3: that number could be as low as one person and
- 46:04Speaker 3: now obviously zero.
- 46:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:07Speaker 3: There's this whole movement online though, for Americans to buy
- 46:10Speaker 3: the airline did you see this, Let's buy Spirit air
- 46:13Speaker 3: dot com. They're saying the website right, the website crash
- 46:18Speaker 3: because so many people were on there, So pledges are
- 46:20Speaker 3: down at the moment. But they say there's been eighty
- 46:22Speaker 3: eight million dollars pledged already, which I'm find hard to believe.
- 46:26Speaker 5: Wait, they'll do that with something that really matters, like
- 46:28Speaker 5: right world hunger here, homelessness or veterans, not Spirit Airlines.
- 46:34Speaker 5: Like I said, I feel bad for anyone who lost
- 46:35Speaker 5: their job.
- 46:36Speaker 2: I really do.
- 46:36Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I do too.
- 46:38Speaker 4: What.
- 46:38Speaker 3: Yeah, it's nice to see the other airlines stepping up
- 46:41Speaker 3: to and you know, offering to help.
- 46:42Speaker 6: So yeah, don't see that coming back. But you know,
- 46:46Speaker 6: stranger things have happened real quick, guys.
- 46:48Speaker 3: Tonight is the met Gala. It happens the first Monday
- 46:51Speaker 3: in May every year at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art.
- 46:55Speaker 3: The theme this year is Costume Art. The dress code
- 46:58Speaker 3: is Fashion is Art.
- 47:00Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 47:01Speaker 3: Co chairs this year Beyonce, Nicole Kidman, Anna Wintur, and
- 47:04Speaker 3: Venus William So this is really a high profile fundraiser
- 47:07Speaker 3: slash fashion show. The red carpet is going to be stacked, though,
- 47:11Speaker 3: Sabrina carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Mary Kate, Nashley Olsen, some of
- 47:15Speaker 3: the cast members of K Pop Demon Hunters are expected
- 47:18Speaker 3: to be on that carpet, as well as Harry Styles
- 47:20Speaker 3: and Zoe Kravitt.
- 47:21Speaker 5: It's just Halloween for rich people. Yeah, it's Halloween for
- 47:26Speaker 5: rich people. I'm not gonna get negative on it. Because
- 47:28Speaker 5: somebody was like, Billy's stop being grumpy today.
- 47:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 47:30Speaker 6: Maybe it's a lot of money for that's.
- 47:32Speaker 5: That's all the matters. They're raising money for charity. But
- 47:34Speaker 5: it's just rich people dressing up and doing rich people things.
- 47:37Speaker 6: So you're not going to be watching the live stream tonight.
- 47:39Speaker 5: Let me tell you something.
- 47:40Speaker 2: I'd rather watch Pooh take a bubble bath.
- 47:43Speaker 6: Oh wait, okay, okay, maybe not that's going on tonight.
- 47:48Speaker 5: I can tell you the bubble bath.
- 47:50Speaker 3: No, I don't know anything about who's bathing schedule.
- 47:56Speaker 1: I don't think he takes bathos holy showers, only showers
- 47:59Speaker 1: only you never take a nice bath.
- 48:01Speaker 2: No, I don't like that at all.
- 48:03Speaker 3: Okay, all right, glad we learned that today. Yeah, I'm Candaslopez.
- 48:08Speaker 3: Those are your Texas sob stories on Good Morning.
- 48:11Speaker 5: It's bailing the kid Candas Lopez is to your producer,
- 48:14Speaker 5: Pooh is here, Mundane is Mondane hard. Monday is very
- 48:19Speaker 5: monday ish because what we've been so excited to give
- 48:22Speaker 5: away these needles and mystery dumplings.
- 48:24Speaker 2: So excited.
- 48:25Speaker 5: Thank you to our boy Danny Uh from Clausania, which
- 48:29Speaker 5: he's just been awesome to us everything that's hot. It's like, hey,
- 48:32Speaker 5: we need some little boboos.
- 48:33Speaker 2: Let's hook you up. We need some needos.
- 48:35Speaker 5: People are waiting in our long lines, I mean hours
- 48:38Speaker 5: an hour, spending one hundreds of dollars on these toys
- 48:40Speaker 5: because the kids want them, you know, and the things
- 48:42Speaker 5: you do for your kids, right, So we're gonna give
- 48:44Speaker 5: them away. So we're doing tradio radio, right, We're gonna
- 48:47Speaker 5: see what we can get for a Nido or a
- 48:49Speaker 5: mystery dumpling, a little tradio radio so you could trade
- 48:52Speaker 5: us anything you want, right, anything. Last time we did this,
- 48:56Speaker 5: we did it for concert tickets and guess what we got.
- 48:58Speaker 5: We got a live goat studio. I've been so excited
- 49:02Speaker 5: all weekend. I can't wait to do this. We get
- 49:04Speaker 5: in here today and the request lines aren't working.
- 49:06Speaker 2: Yeah, how do we have an update?
- 49:09Speaker 3: Pooh?
- 49:09Speaker 5: I can't. Let's go to our correspondent. Pooh, correspondent, pooh,
- 49:13Speaker 5: what's it look like? That is still on it?
- 49:15Speaker 1: He said, he's just Brad, that's the ITU tech guy.
- 49:20Speaker 5: Oh it is?
- 49:20Speaker 2: Yeah, Oh thanks Brad.
- 49:22Speaker 1: Yeah, he remotely logged in. He's trying to figure out
- 49:25Speaker 1: why they're still a delay.
- 49:26Speaker 2: Going back to here, So pooh are they working?
- 49:29Speaker 4: No?
- 49:29Speaker 5: Not yet.
- 49:30Speaker 2: So the one time I need the request lines to work,
- 49:32Speaker 2: I think you.
- 49:33Speaker 6: Can call because people are calling, right, it's just we
- 49:35Speaker 6: can't hear you.
- 49:36Speaker 1: Yeah, people right right, exactly answer and I can. I
- 49:40Speaker 1: heard him at first, and then I didn't hear him again.
- 49:45Speaker 6: Can you hear me now?
- 49:46Speaker 2: I'm trying not to get frustrated.
- 49:48Speaker 5: Yeah, but our request lines are working about as good
- 49:50Speaker 5: as Spirit airlines. I think actually Spirit runs our IT department.
- 49:57Speaker 5: What is going on?
- 49:59Speaker 2: Gosh, I'm trying not to be frustrated.
- 50:01Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm really trying not to. We do a live
- 50:03Speaker 5: show that we put a lot into. Yeah, how the
- 50:05Speaker 5: one time everything has worked for months?
- 50:09Speaker 3: Right?
- 50:09Speaker 5: Nothing's the one day I'm like, this is it. We're
- 50:12Speaker 5: gonna do tradio radio. Not one line is working? Yeah,
- 50:15Speaker 5: you want should I give out whose cell? Phone number.
- 50:18Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, all right, so this is what we're
- 50:21Speaker 2: gonna do.
- 50:22Speaker 5: You know what I could see here?
- 50:23Speaker 2: I could complain all day, but the bottom line is
- 50:25Speaker 2: it's not gonna fix anything.
- 50:27Speaker 6: There's a human in the next room though. That's wet news. Yeah,
- 50:29Speaker 6: if you want a remote worker.
- 50:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, somebody just walked in.
- 50:33Speaker 2: Okay, awesome, perfect, that's a good sign for humans here.
- 50:37Speaker 2: But we're not done. This is what we're gonna do
- 50:38Speaker 2: on Instagram.
- 50:39Speaker 5: Go to Mix one O two NINEFM at Mix one
- 50:42Speaker 5: O two NINEFM on Instagram. We're gonna post something right now.
- 50:46Speaker 5: Why don't you just tell us? People are already starting
- 50:48Speaker 5: to DMI.
- 50:49Speaker 6: Yeah, James just hit me up.
- 50:50Speaker 2: What's James willing to trade?
- 50:51Speaker 6: Yeah, he says, I need one of those needles.
- 50:53Speaker 3: I'll trade a Texas Rangers Replica Championship ring.
- 50:56Speaker 1: Whoa, that's cool?
- 50:58Speaker 5: Well, like mark it down, mark it down, Texas Rangers
- 51:02Speaker 5: Replica Championship Ring. Yeah all right, I like that.
- 51:06Speaker 2: So should that be in the lead right now?
- 51:08Speaker 6: Oh okay, take it to the game this weekend.
- 51:10Speaker 2: I'm checking the Instagram right now.
- 51:11Speaker 5: Maria and Forty said, forget a goat, I actually have

- 51:33Speaker 5: two nine FM. What else do we got? What do

- 51:37Speaker 3: Well I said, maybe you know, we should take up
- 51:39Speaker 3: a new you know, hobby like golf. Maybe we could
- 51:43Speaker 3: do some golf clubs.
- 51:44Speaker 2: Okay, that a golf cart.
- 51:45Speaker 6: It would be.
- 51:46Speaker 5: Nice coming in right now at Mix one nine FM.
- 51:49Speaker 5: At Mix one O two nine FM, I did get
- 51:52Speaker 5: one for I have a big wheel. Somebody said they
- 51:54Speaker 5: have a big wheel. Oh that's interesting. I like the
- 51:57Speaker 5: idea of a big wheel. What is that We have
- 52:00Speaker 5: a big wheel. We have two three wheel bikes you know.
- 52:03Speaker 2: Oh okay, what do we really need? Cannas?
- 52:05Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 52:06Speaker 3: Well we mentioned on Instagram over the weekend, maybe like
- 52:08Speaker 3: an above ground pool, we could have a pool party
- 52:10Speaker 3: out front the radio station.
- 52:13Speaker 4: No.
- 52:13Speaker 5: Rachel in four Worth says, I will trade you an

- 52:24Speaker 5: An hour and a half long massage? Is that for
- 52:27Speaker 5: all three of us, or do we have to share?
- 52:29Speaker 5: That would be about thirty minutes. You know what, I
- 52:32Speaker 5: don't like massages. I hate massages.
- 52:34Speaker 6: Your thirty minutes?
- 52:35Speaker 2: Do you want my thirty minutes?
- 52:36Speaker 6: Yeah, give me your thirty minutes.
- 52:38Speaker 2: But what do I get out of this?
- 52:39Speaker 3: You get to I don't know. You get to be
- 52:42Speaker 3: how quiet time by yourself in the other room.
- 52:45Speaker 5: I think I'd rather have a copy bar. All right,
- 52:48Speaker 5: thank you.
- 52:49Speaker 6: Rachel wants to trade her Stanley Stanley.
- 52:53Speaker 5: Yes, we have fourteen of them over here already. Cannas
- 52:57Speaker 5: has thirteen Stanley's. Yeah, okay, oh okay, I don't. Renee
- 53:03Speaker 5: said she would trade fresh homemade to Molly's.
- 53:07Speaker 1: Okay, girl, Oh like that?
- 53:11Speaker 5: Hold up fresh homemade to Molly's. It depends on where
- 53:15Speaker 5: can we get them, Like, let me see, let me
- 53:17Speaker 5: see where she's from, because I don't trust everybody's cooking.
- 53:19Speaker 2: Hold on, let me type back. Do you have cats?
- 53:22Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 53:22Speaker 5: Because poo cats cats? Do you have cats to Molly's
- 53:27Speaker 5: for sure? No, she's typing dots. No she does not
- 53:31Speaker 5: have cats. Okay okay. Oh and she's from Grand Prairie,
- 53:35Speaker 5: oh GP. Yeah, okay, that's what we got so far.
- 53:40Speaker 5: At Mixed one of two nine FM, we're doing tradio
- 53:43Speaker 5: radio our way online. Okay, do you got something else
- 53:46Speaker 5: coming in?
- 53:46Speaker 6: They're coming in the other account.
- 53:49Speaker 3: This person said, I can trade a brand new kids bike.
- 53:52Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I don't want to teach your I know.
- 53:55Speaker 6: This person said, I'll give you my house. Matthew. What
- 53:57Speaker 6: are you doing, Matthew? What kind of Yeah, let's see
- 54:01Speaker 6: what town you're for sure?
- 54:04Speaker 5: Okay, well, either way, keep them coming. At Mix one
- 54:06Speaker 5: of two nine FM, we're getting some good stuff. This
- 54:09Speaker 5: is gonna be good. We're not done. Keep them coming.
- 54:11Speaker 2: Tradio radio is on for these needos and mystery dumplings.
- 54:15Speaker 2: The Bail of the Kid. Candice Lopez is your producer.
- 54:17Speaker 5: Pooh is here. We are giving away needos and mystery
- 54:20Speaker 5: dumplings doing tradio radio.
- 54:21Speaker 2: But of course none of the request lines are working.
- 54:24Speaker 5: On the one day where we need them to work,
- 54:26Speaker 5: because Pooh's in charge of the request lines.
- 54:30Speaker 2: Literally since five thirty am.
- 54:32Speaker 5: Yeah, we've been trying to get the request lines to
- 54:34Speaker 5: work and we don't know what's going on. So but
- 54:37Speaker 5: we're not We're not stopping. No, We're giving these away
- 54:40Speaker 5: no matter what before the end of the show. We've
- 54:41Speaker 5: just had to pivot, as they would say in corporate America,
- 54:44Speaker 5: We've had to pivot.
- 54:45Speaker 2: We'll circle back.
- 54:48Speaker 5: Tradio Radio, What would you trade us for these needos
- 54:51Speaker 5: and these mystery dumplings that everybody wants? Tradio Radio is
- 54:54Speaker 5: on and some good ones coming in at Mix one
- 54:56Speaker 5: of two nine FM on Instagram at Mix one of
- 54:58Speaker 5: two nine FM. You know what, somebody could probably win
- 55:00Speaker 5: if they trade me, because I would be heavily influenced
- 55:03Speaker 5: in a bottle of tequila right now because I'm telling
- 55:06Speaker 5: you what I needed after today.
- 55:07Speaker 6: Oh it's a lot.
- 55:09Speaker 2: I think Poo needs it.
- 55:10Speaker 5: Too, Yes, I do.
- 55:11Speaker 6: I need it too. Just pass it over.
- 55:13Speaker 5: Janni's one is coming in because we've had it so far.
- 55:16Speaker 5: What are those things called the kathy Bara?
- 55:18Speaker 6: A kathy bara?
- 55:19Speaker 5: Somebody wants to trade us that. Yeah, I don't know
- 55:21Speaker 5: if I can do any more live animals. We got
- 55:22Speaker 5: a goat last time.
- 55:23Speaker 3: Well, Irin says she has a chicken so we can
- 55:25Speaker 3: have fresh eggs every day for the hard little breakfast
- 55:28Speaker 3: that you guys.
- 55:29Speaker 6: Can't stand the smell of.
- 55:30Speaker 5: Well, you know what a chicken. I don't know.
- 55:31Speaker 6: That's a strong contender. I've wanted a chicken for a
- 55:34Speaker 6: long time.
- 55:34Speaker 5: Can I have a pet chicken? And Carrollton?
- 55:36Speaker 6: I mean no, but just do it.
- 55:38Speaker 5: Oh yeah, who's going.
- 55:39Speaker 2: To keep the chicken?
- 55:40Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 55:40Speaker 2: Well you keeping the chicken?
- 55:42Speaker 5: Bit? Yeah?
- 55:42Speaker 2: Who lives in an apartment? So ooh the chicken might
- 55:46Speaker 2: be a finalist so far.
- 55:48Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean.
- 55:48Speaker 3: Kevin says he'll put gas in our cars for us.
- 55:51Speaker 2: Oh wow, Kevin, Yeah, that's good. Seven dollars.
- 55:54Speaker 3: Oh yeah, planning offers for people to cook for us
- 55:57Speaker 3: for Nonda says she will make Brazilian food.
- 55:59Speaker 6: We got offer for someone to make gumbo for us. Okay,
- 56:04Speaker 6: to trade their kids.
- 56:05Speaker 2: If somebody offered to trade their kids.
- 56:07Speaker 6: But then you don't need the need if your kid.
- 56:09Speaker 2: If you trade your kid, then what do yeah, what
- 56:11Speaker 2: do you need.
- 56:11Speaker 5: The needle for?
- 56:12Speaker 6: Unless they're just gonna do chores housework for us?
- 56:14Speaker 2: Okay, anything else that we got.
- 56:16Speaker 6: Cassandra has a.
- 56:17Speaker 3: Power tool that accidentally got delivered to her house. She
- 56:19Speaker 3: says it's pretty expensive.
- 56:21Speaker 6: Apparently she doesn't know what it is. Power Yeah, a
- 56:26Speaker 6: mystery power tool for a mystery dumpling.
- 56:28Speaker 2: That might be a good see.
- 56:29Speaker 5: I do like a good mystery box and sure you
- 56:32Speaker 5: know we have to guess what's in there, and it's
- 56:33Speaker 5: a mystery for us. That is good, Okay, a mystery
- 56:36Speaker 5: power tool. Well, she's not gonna send it back.
- 56:38Speaker 6: I don't think so.
- 56:39Speaker 2: Oh, she's living a lawless she's waiting to.
- 56:42Speaker 6: See if we want it before she sends it back.
- 56:44Speaker 6: But I didn't. He didn't see anything. Nothing to see here.
- 56:46Speaker 2: Don't know what it is though.
- 56:47Speaker 5: Yeah, all right, we're gonna pick somebody, but for the show.
- 56:49Speaker 5: At makes one of two nine FM, at Mikes one
- 56:52Speaker 5: of two nine FM. I'm trying to think about something
- 56:54Speaker 5: that would really get us right because the chicken is good.
- 56:57Speaker 5: I think the chicken so far is in the lead.
- 56:59Speaker 3: That's useful option for us right now because we do
- 57:02Speaker 3: eat a lot of hardbleled eggs because.
- 57:04Speaker 5: We don't need it. We don't need expensive, we need interesting,
- 57:07Speaker 5: you need we need unique. We need something functional, something
- 57:10Speaker 5: different that would make for good content moving forward, because
- 57:14Speaker 5: Candace would have to take care of this chicken. Do

- 57:26Speaker 3: I mean in my backyard. You I got a pretty
- 57:29Speaker 3: big backyard, and my neighbors have low key chickens. They're
- 57:31Speaker 3: not supposed to.
- 57:32Speaker 2: So wait, you're not supposed to have chickens.
- 57:35Speaker 6: What those people that do? Someone in our neighborhood as
- 57:37Speaker 6: a peacock. Yeah, for sure.

- 58:45Speaker 6: Oh ooh, Liz phones.
- 58:48Speaker 5: Liz said, signed MAVs player Jersey from Sean Marion. Oh

- 59:01Speaker 5: Oh, what's funny? Is I knew?
- 59:02Speaker 2: I knew Cannas is gonna.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Get it real?
- 59:05Speaker 5: Yeah, Activitis Plant Bingo. Elizabeth said that she would trade
- 59:09Speaker 5: the penny her daughter swallowed. It's the most expensive penny ever. Okay,
- 59:14Speaker 5: so they must have got it out.
- 59:15Speaker 6: We could have that twenty thousand dollars she said. It
- 59:18Speaker 6: costs what yeah, yeah, to get it out.
- 59:21Speaker 2: Can't you just I don't know.
- 59:24Speaker 6: She must have had some kind of procedure.
- 59:26Speaker 5: Wow, Okay, well you know what, we'll put that in
- 59:28Speaker 5: the running. We'll pick it before the show's over. So
- 59:30Speaker 5: you got time at Mix one of two nine FM
- 59:33Speaker 5: on Instagram at Mix one of two nine FM candis
- 59:35Speaker 5: what's going on?
- 59:36Speaker 3: Well, the votes were counted in this weekend's election. Dart
- 59:38Speaker 3: services will be coming to an end in Highland Park
- 59:41Speaker 3: this month. They will continue in Addison and University Park.
- 59:45Speaker 4: So you know.
- 59:45Speaker 3: Plano announced their intention to leave this alliance, saying it's
- 59:49Speaker 3: tax contributions weren't worth the benefits to residents. Well, Plano,
- 59:53Speaker 3: Farmers Branch and Irving initially had those elections planned, but
- 59:57Speaker 3: canceled them after renegotiating their agreement. Highland Park though voting
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: not to continue. So buses will stop operating through Highland Park,
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: but will They'll go through Highland Park, but we won't
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: stop in Highland Park.
- 1:00:10Speaker 5: Kale.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: It's kind of like me, Yeah.
- 1:00:12Speaker 5: You can go through, but you can't stop because if
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: you're not just rich enough, you actually get kicked out immediately.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: This is expected to take effect May fifteenth. And if
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: you haven't heard about this, McDonald's is quietly getting rid
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: of their self serve soda fountains. So their plan is
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: to completely get rid of these by twenty thirty two.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: That would mean that they are only behind the counter.
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: So they're saying this will help modernize restaurants. Reduce maintenance
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: and labor demands and really, you know, help them adapt
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: to the demand for drive through delivery.
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: And takeout, which is you know a lot of people
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: these days.
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: I think you're trying to make everything automated. But then
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: I have to give my cup to an employee right
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: to go fill it up.
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: That's so confusing because we only have the kiosks at
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: the one by my house.
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: Like to get a human there at the counter, is
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: it takes a while.
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: You gotta hit the bell, yeah, yell to get a
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: human yep. And then I got to get a refill
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: that we just leave the machines out right.
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: They say this would give them more control of proportion, sizes,
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: cleanliness and inventory and you know, stop people from taking
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: their water cup and putting soda in it.
- 1:01:12Speaker 5: Did you see what the New Zealand McDonald's is doing. No,
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: they're coming out with a mcmullet cheeseburger.
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: What is that?
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: I'm not this not a joke.
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: The mcmullet cheeseburger one slice of cheese hangs off in
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: the back, no to where it looks like a mullet.
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: And they're really doing it to just cause a little
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: social viral moment. Okay, where the cheeseburger has a mullet. Okay, yeah,
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: well bring that to mesquite.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: Make your own, yeah for sure, real quick, guys, post
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: Malone canceled the start of his upcoming tour. Six shows
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: were part of this, including his shows here in Texas.
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: That tour is now going to kick off June twelfth
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: in Indianapolis. So he's saying it needs more time to
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: finish his double album before this tour starts. You know,
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: a lot of people have been saying this could have
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: something to do with low ticket sales, which we've been
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: hearing for weeks. Half these stadiums, you know, are not
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: sold yet.
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: I know see people online going, oh, it's low ticket
- 1:02:10Speaker 5: sales and kind of making fun of them. I'm like, well,
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: even if it is, it's not his fault. No, if anything,
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: it's like, well, people don't have disposable income right now
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: when gas is seventeen.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Dollars a gallon.
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: Yeah, we're about to hit a record.
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: And I'm not gonna go all the way to Waco
- 1:02:22Speaker 5: and spend all this money to go see him. Right
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: It's it's tough right now for people to just throw
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: away and concerts are expensive.
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: They are some of these shows.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: We're even offering discounted tickets recently. But he says, you know,
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: he promised the new music, doesn't have time to finish it,
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: so he's just not ready to tour. So we'll push
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: it back three weeks. That'll help him get the music done.
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: So I'm looking forward to the new music.
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: Either way, I know.
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: And when you're an artist, you don't want to go
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: from stadium to arenas. But to me, there's nothing wrong
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: with that.
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: No, I'd be happy with it.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: Do it arena showing, dickies, do it American.
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: Airlines one hundred percent, do both.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: I'd go, yeah, I would too.
- 1:02:56Speaker 6: All Right, I'm Kanaslopez. Those are your Texas top stories.
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: Off yours to comments, you'll feel better. Welcome to the
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: Dirty Little Secret.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: I need a drink?
- 1:03:07Speaker 7: Right?
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: Is that my dirty Little Secret? I'm drinking right now.
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: I'm just kidding.
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: Let's not do that, all right, Dirty Little Secret eight
- 1:03:12Speaker 5: three three seven eight seven one h two nine. Usually
- 1:03:15Speaker 5: you can call us where they're working on the request
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: lines right now or Instagram. Either way, tell us your secret.
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: Go ahead and confess I do.
- 1:03:22Speaker 7: I've been going back and forth on calling you guys,
- 1:03:25Speaker 7: but I really don't have anyone to talk to about this.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: So well that's what we're here for, where it's a
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: non judgment zone. What is going on in your world?
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: Well, I've been married, and we've only been married a
- 1:03:36Speaker 7: couple of years, so it's still pretty new. And from
- 1:03:40Speaker 7: the beginning, we both wanted the same thing, like a
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: family with kids, you know, a big house full of noise,
- 1:03:45Speaker 7: and that was always a part of the plan for
- 1:03:47Speaker 7: both of us. And because it hadn't worked out that way,
- 1:03:51Speaker 7: we've been trying and trying and trying, and nothing has happened.
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: And at first I thought it was me, so I
- 1:03:59Speaker 7: got tested and I went through all the emotions, like
- 1:04:02Speaker 7: something's wrong with my body. I'm like broken, I'm something's
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: not happening right, And and then we found out it's
- 1:04:09Speaker 7: not me, it's him.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: Oh okay.
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: And I don't even think he realizes how much that
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: changed everything for me. And I tried to be supportive
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: and I love him. I love him so much, and
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: he's a good man, he's a good husband, and it's
- 1:04:22Speaker 7: not his fault. But I feel like ever since I
- 1:04:25Speaker 7: found out, like there's this big weight on me and
- 1:04:27Speaker 7: I can't shake it. And I've always pictured myself as
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: a mom. I've always wanted kids. I wanted that life
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: with my husband and to have my kids in my house.
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: And so it's just like, this can't happen now.
- 1:04:42Speaker 5: I know it's a lot of emotions, but and I'm
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: not saying this is the same, but I know there's
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: other you know, there's adoption, there's other things that you
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: could do.
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: My friends, Yes, I mean we've discussed adoption. I'm not
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: against it.
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: I'm not.
- 1:04:57Speaker 7: But if I'm being completely honest, I don't know if
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: I'll feel the same way. Yeah, And I feel awful
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: saying that, but that's how I feel. And I can't
- 1:05:07Speaker 7: deny that I feel that way. And this is a
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: part of like what makes me feel like I might
- 1:05:12Speaker 7: be the worst wife in the world or worst person
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: in the world. And I just know that I know
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: myself and i'd be lying if if, like if I
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: say this is okay, because like I said, this has
- 1:05:23Speaker 7: always been my dream and I have thought about leaving him.
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: Oh and I haven't said it and I haven't even
- 1:05:32Speaker 7: come close because I love him and it's like not
- 1:05:34Speaker 7: his fault, but it's it's crossed my mind that maybe
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: I should move on, But I'm like, hold on.
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: So you're thinking about actually leap, okay, and I'm not.
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: It's a non judgment zone. You're thinking about leaving him
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: over this.
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: Well, I do want to have kids of my own,
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: and I don't know what else to do because I
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: do love him and I love the life that we're
- 1:05:56Speaker 7: building together, but it's not working out, and I just
- 1:06:00Speaker 7: feel like it's flipping away what I wanted.
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: I mean, is it not working out? Or is this
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: the plan? The bigger plan that you know? Sometimes you
- 1:06:09Speaker 5: just can't control these things. And obviously it's not his fault.
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: I can't tell you what's right or wrong. There's a
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: difference between going, oh, you know what, I can't. I
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: can't say this has never crossed my mind and I'm
- 1:06:22Speaker 5: actually going to do this. Yeah, there's two different things. So,
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: I mean, I guess it just depends on you if
- 1:06:27Speaker 5: you love them.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: I just feel like there's no way you can leave.
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: Them over this.
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: I don't feel like I can leave him either, But
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: I'm just like hurting myself, and I'm like, how do
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: I agree without hurting him? I'm keeping everything to myself,
- 1:06:40Speaker 7: have you two talked.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: About it, maybe possibly doing counseling or something like that together,
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: because this is a big deal.
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: Yeah, you can't hold it inside, but also sharing that
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: with him is going to just break his heart even worse.
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: Yeah, I guess we will have to go to counseling
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: because I don't know what to do from here, because
- 1:06:55Speaker 7: I'm just questioning everything and feeling like a terrible person.
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: Because think about it, you leave. Let's say you know
- 1:07:01Speaker 5: you've thought about it, you leave him, you get with
- 1:07:03Speaker 5: somebody else, you have kids, you think years down the road,
- 1:07:08Speaker 5: you're not gonna look back and go. I mean, yeah,
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: I'm glad I'm a mom, but I can't believe I
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: left a man that I love right and love because
- 1:07:16Speaker 5: of something that he can't control.
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: If this were switched around and there was a man
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: calling up and saying I'm leaving my wife because she
- 1:07:23Speaker 5: can't have kids, I think people would be in an
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: uproar and everybody feels different now that you're saying it, right,
- 1:07:31Speaker 5: And I don't think you're a bad person. I'm just
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: saying I would really talk to somebody before you let
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: that thought get out of control or take over.
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: Your mon The process, you're how you're feeling before you
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: just jump and make some type of decision that you can't.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: Turn back, you know, because he's going through all this too.
- 1:07:48Speaker 5: Yeah, he probably feels so guilty and emasculated, like you know.
- 1:07:52Speaker 7: It's just horrible. I wish that things were different, but
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: they're not, so I have to just face what we
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: have going on.
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: Well, but would be you know, take the route of
- 1:08:02Speaker 6: this just wasn't meant to be. It wasn't meant for
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: me to have kids.
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:08:06Speaker 6: It's a tough pill to swallow, it is when you've
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: dreamed of that.
- 1:08:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I know so many people, so many people go,
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: especially women. They feel like their main reason they're here
- 1:08:18Speaker 5: is to be a mom. So if that can't happen,
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: I get why you feel like there's a big part
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: of you.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: Missing for sure, But you definitely can't You guys can't
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: work through this on your own. I would definitely seek
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: professional help do that.
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: Thank you, Thank you so much.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: All good luck with everything and let us know what
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: happens and hang in there.
- 1:08:36Speaker 7: Okay, okay, thank you so much.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: You're welcome and I got to say thank you to everyone.
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: This is why I love our listeners because I'm getting
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: DM after DM after DM going, here's how she can
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: do something about this, go to this doctor or people
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: who've been in this situation. I'm going to send her
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: all of this info.
- 1:08:54Speaker 6: So acts I don't know what option she's explored or
- 1:08:57Speaker 6: has it.
- 1:08:57Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: It's kind of sensitive to ask, right, and I.
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: Don't on air exactly, so you know what, I'm gonna
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: get all this info. Thank you for sending on Instagram.
- 1:09:05Speaker 5: I'm gonna get to her and hopefully they can work
- 1:09:07Speaker 5: something out.
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: We're about to get out of here.
- 1:09:09Speaker 5: First, though, we got to announce the winner for today's
- 1:09:12Speaker 5: Tradio Radio. I'm mixed one on two point nine. Who
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: is gonna win the Needo or the Mystery Dumpling? I
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: guess we'll let them pick which one they want.
- 1:09:19Speaker 6: Okay, that's fair.
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: I'm excited about it. We've had so many good entries on.

- 1:09:41Speaker 2: Just give me that phone. I'll be happy with it

- 1:09:44Speaker 5: You're going to at mix one of two nine a

- 1:09:52Speaker 5: mean you're still you're still in it.
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: We have all week to do this. We're just gonna

- 1:09:56Speaker 5: So tomorrow we might do it on the request lines,
- 1:09:59Speaker 5: but we're gonna keep it all the stuff that people

- 1:10:03Speaker 2: These needles. Everybody wants these needles. If you don't know
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: what they are.
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: It's like a little squishy toy that people are waiting
- 1:10:08Speaker 5: in five hour long lines for paying hundreds of dollars for.

- 1:10:58Speaker 6: Yeah, I think we have.

- 1:11:58Speaker 5: think that's all we can handle.
- 1:11:59Speaker 6: Yeah, eggs and what beats that?
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: God, I do want it. I did want the ducks, though,

- 1:12:07Speaker 5: gonna do with two ducks?
- 1:12:08Speaker 6: Well, that's a commitment. They need each other to be friends.
