- 0:09Speaker 1: Everybody welcome the game debut present about Mercedes Ben's packing.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Clayb On here with Greg Rosenthal and say the Freeland
- 0:14Speaker 1: hope your holiday is safe and filled with whatever food
- 0:17Speaker 1: that you enjoy the most. No food arguments on this show.
- 0:20Speaker 1: We just we want everybody Greg to get those.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Things, eat the food.
- 0:23Speaker 3: All food is good if it's prepared the right way.
- 0:25Speaker 4: That's what I WI love.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Yes, the key ingredient to both food and picking games.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Perhaps what's Greg rose with all secret? We don't know,
- 0:35Speaker 1: but right now he's in the lead one hundred. I
- 0:40Speaker 1: had a Cynthia who's at one twenty fifty nine, and
- 0:43Speaker 1: I am pulling up the rear one.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Sixteen and sixteen twenty of time left.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Well, we'll see. It's gonna be tough.
- 0:49Speaker 3: We're not stuffing that thing.
- 0:51Speaker 4: You aren't. We didn't.
- 0:53Speaker 3: We just stuff you, I guess. So yeah, Greg, No,
- 0:58Speaker 3: that's talking.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Run across the screen. We're gonna start here. The Eagles
- 1:02Speaker 2: still have six games to play.
- 1:04Speaker 1: One already has a career high in rushing yards and
- 1:06Speaker 1: on the flip side. In Baltimore, another running back whose
- 1:09Speaker 1: team didn't want to pay him, neither did the team
- 1:11Speaker 1: that he wanted to play for the most Thanks for that.
- 1:13Speaker 2: By the way, Who's winning this game?
- 1:15Speaker 3: Great man?
- 1:16Speaker 5: I went back and forth. I think this is the
- 1:17Speaker 5: best game of the year. I'm so excited about we
- 1:19Speaker 5: could see it as a super Bowl in a couple
- 1:21Speaker 5: of months. I have the Ravens winning twenty four to
- 1:23Speaker 5: twenty three. They're the home team, and so I leaned
- 1:26Speaker 5: towards him because of that, and because of the coaching matchup. Yes,
- 1:30Speaker 5: John Harbaugh and those fourth down decisions that he made
- 1:34Speaker 5: in Los Angeles on Monday night just reminded me going
- 1:37Speaker 5: into this matchup.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Yes, Nick Sirianni is not afraid to go for a.
- 1:40Speaker 5: Fourth down, but this Eagles team had been winning easy.
- 1:44Speaker 5: It hasn't had a close game in the winning streak
- 1:46Speaker 5: since the very beginning against the Browns. And I do
- 1:48Speaker 5: think in a game of margins, maybe a game of
- 1:51Speaker 5: special teams, a game of decisions, a game of staying
- 1:54Speaker 5: cool and calm under pressure. I just trust John Harbaugh
- 1:58Speaker 5: a lot more than Nick Sirianni.
- 2:00Speaker 3: That was what did it for me. Let's go Ravens.
- 2:02Speaker 4: I'm really impressed that you got through that whole thing
- 2:04Speaker 4: without saying a game of inches, because it's just like
- 2:07Speaker 4: blows off the top. I too have a one point
- 2:09Speaker 4: win wow the Ravens, which is wild so different from yours.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Twenty five to twenty four. I'm looking at this game
- 2:16Speaker 4: and I want to point out just how good Jalen
- 2:18Speaker 4: Carter is, because we've talked about it before. But this
- 2:21Speaker 4: is a situation where you know, it's not necessarily like
- 2:25Speaker 4: Derrick Henry gets a chance to run against a guy
- 2:27Speaker 4: like Jalen Carter very often. We're gonna see a little
- 2:30Speaker 4: steal on steel match up here. Who is the best
- 2:33Speaker 4: of the best, Not really Derrick Henry running to the
- 2:35Speaker 4: area that Jalen Carter stands in. But whatever, don't let
- 2:38Speaker 4: details get in the way of a good story. I
- 2:39Speaker 4: just want to point out that Jalen Carter patrolling the
- 2:42Speaker 4: middle is disruptive. He's a huge problem the Baltimore O line.
- 2:46Speaker 4: They've had some moments of weakness this year, so if
- 2:49Speaker 4: there is an upset and the Eagles do win, it
- 2:52Speaker 4: will likely be like some massive Jalen Carter pancake situation.
- 2:56Speaker 2: All right, let's keep the trend going, guys. I've got
- 2:58Speaker 2: a one point win.
- 2:59Speaker 1: We'll cover every number from twenty two to twenty five.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I have which on his mind, twenty three to twenty
- 3:06Speaker 1: two win by the Baltimore Ravens, because we just saw
- 3:09Speaker 1: Saquon Barkley, and we've seen the Eagles have so much
- 3:11Speaker 1: success running the ball. They're gonna have to do it
- 3:13Speaker 1: against one of the better rush defenses in the entire league.
- 3:17Speaker 1: That might get Michael pierceback, the big man on the inside,
- 3:20Speaker 1: the nose tackle on coming back. He's been activated off
- 3:24Speaker 1: of injured reserve, giving up a ton of explosive plays
- 3:26Speaker 1: in the past game, not in the run game, three
- 3:29Speaker 1: point three yards per carry overall. Maybe no DeVante Smith
- 3:33Speaker 1: enough for me to take the home team, not to
- 3:35Speaker 1: mention their quarterback, who I believe is playing some of
- 3:39Speaker 1: the best football.
- 3:40Speaker 3: And we're in trouble on the memes here this week.
- 3:43Speaker 4: We are so in trouble on the memes.
- 3:45Speaker 3: But I don't feel comfortable. I'm almost tempted to change
- 3:47Speaker 3: my pick, but I am not going to do that.
- 3:50Speaker 3: I want you.
- 3:51Speaker 4: I want to pick up a game on you.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I want no, I don't want well again, all all
- 3:56Speaker 1: the Baltimore Ravens, the Eagles fans are going to meme
- 3:58Speaker 1: alert us. I feel like the same ones that would
- 4:00Speaker 1: meme alert us were the ones a few weeks ago
- 4:01Speaker 1: just bemoaning their football team.
- 4:04Speaker 2: We're gonna look at the MDP odds.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Josh Allen a favorite, Lamar Jackson, Sakuon Barkley, Jared Goff,
- 4:11Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes. Cynthia's waving her arm, I am because you
- 4:15Speaker 1: want Jared higher.
- 4:16Speaker 4: No, well, I'm just talking about value, your girl. I
- 4:19Speaker 4: love blackfart, I hate shopping, but I like a good value.
- 4:22Speaker 4: And if you're looking for upside here, Jared Goff's odds
- 4:25Speaker 4: are very long. For what He's the only NFC quarterback
- 4:29Speaker 4: we know. MVP is typically given to a quarterback that
- 4:32Speaker 4: is the only one in the NFC. If they make this, like,
- 4:34Speaker 4: just think about I'm not talking about that what I
- 4:37Speaker 4: necessarily think, but just the strategy of it all. Put
- 4:39Speaker 4: a little Jared Goff in your Portofolio.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Yeah, the most vibes based thing, awards wise that you
- 4:45Speaker 1: could possibly go for.
- 4:47Speaker 2: You gotta pick, you gotta play the vibes.
- 4:48Speaker 1: The MVP favorite Josh Allen against Brandon Allen this week.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Brock Purty, whoever it is for the five and six
- 4:54Speaker 1: nine ers not on any MVP shortlist Greg who do
- 4:57Speaker 1: you have on Sunday?
- 4:58Speaker 5: I have the Bells winning in a big way thirty
- 5:01Speaker 5: to thirteen of party plays.
- 5:03Speaker 3: That helps them.
- 5:04Speaker 5: But either way, I think the Bills cover a big
- 5:06Speaker 5: number because they are one of the best teams in
- 5:08Speaker 5: the league upfront, and yes, they are led by their
- 5:10Speaker 5: MVP front runner Josh Allen.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Now should he be the front runner?
- 5:16Speaker 5: It's tough for me but to choose between him, Lamar
- 5:18Speaker 5: Jackson and Saquon Barkley. We got a ways to go.
- 5:20Speaker 5: We don't need to be in different camps. I'm sick
- 5:22Speaker 5: of the Josh Allen people going after the Lamar Jackson
- 5:26Speaker 5: people and vice versa.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Even Cynthia talking about Jared Gott.
- 5:29Speaker 5: I mean, I'm talking about none of these guys had
- 5:32Speaker 5: five interception games. I'm just saying Josh Allen is playing
- 5:36Speaker 5: awesome and the Niners defense not playing well at all.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Yeah, Josh Allen a part of that Bill's ground game
- 5:41Speaker 1: as well, which has been very good, and the forty
- 5:43Speaker 1: nine Ers run defense has been very pedestrian. I've got
- 5:45Speaker 1: the Bills winning this one as well, twenty four to nineteen.
- 5:50Speaker 1: It's not just that the forty nine Ers rush defense
- 5:52Speaker 1: isn't as good as it once was. It's pretty mad
- 5:55Speaker 1: in general, barely better than the Jets run defense in
- 5:59Speaker 1: total success right and since Week six they're in the
- 6:02Speaker 1: bottom ten in the entire NFL and run defense success rate.
- 6:06Speaker 1: And then you look over on the other side where
- 6:09Speaker 1: James Cook has been having rush yards over expected top
- 6:12Speaker 1: ten right now, tough look for the forty nine ers
- 6:15Speaker 1: in this matchup against Buffalo.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Well meve it on up, forty nine Ers fans. I
- 6:20Speaker 4: to have a win where Buffalo is covering their spread.
- 6:23Speaker 4: I have an eight point win, twenty eight to twenty.
- 6:26Speaker 4: I just want to give a little love to George Kittle.
- 6:28Speaker 4: Though we could say a lot of bad things about
- 6:29Speaker 4: the red area, both on offense and defense for the Niners,
- 6:32Speaker 4: but I'm not going to. Instead, I'm going to say
- 6:35Speaker 4: that George Kittle, no matter who the quarterback is, is
- 6:39Speaker 4: the straw that is stirring the drink of this offense
- 6:42Speaker 4: this season. He's worth giving some love to on this show.
- 6:45Speaker 4: We may not have picked the Niners, but we all
- 6:47Speaker 4: believe in what George Kittle brings to the table, the yak,
- 6:51Speaker 4: the opportunity to be an inline receiver. He's just really
- 6:54Speaker 4: helping his offense out a ton this season. So even
- 6:56Speaker 4: though I'm picking against him, I still think he'll have
- 6:58Speaker 4: a strong day and an important day for him.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Yes, the memes are in and the forty nine ers
- 7:02Speaker 1: up against a lot injuries, schedule, everything, so we're all
- 7:06Speaker 1: on the Buffalo bill. The Pittsburgh Steelers kicked off the
- 7:09Speaker 1: divisional portion of their schedule just two weeks ago. Six
- 7:12Speaker 1: of their last eight games or against AFC North opponents.
- 7:15Speaker 1: The first two games against Cincy starts on Sunday.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Do they win it, Cynthia?
- 7:20Speaker 4: They sure do, twenty five to twenty two in this
- 7:24Speaker 4: matchup twenty three. Excuse me a two point win. When
- 7:27Speaker 4: I'm looking at the opportunity here to make decisions, I
- 7:30Speaker 4: think both teams have some trends to watch. Number one,
- 7:33Speaker 4: we saw some weird stuff last week. And I know
- 7:35Speaker 4: it was snowing and maybe you didn't catch it, but
- 7:37Speaker 4: it was actually Justin Fields who was throwing passes in
- 7:40Speaker 4: the snow late in the game. Perhaps this is a
- 7:43Speaker 4: victim of overthinking things. Maybe you want to use the
- 7:46Speaker 4: guy Russell Wilson, who has kind of the best stats
- 7:49Speaker 4: and actually many of the best stats in the fourth
- 7:51Speaker 4: quarter in the league at the end of the game,
- 7:54Speaker 4: just a thought. I don't think that that will happen
- 7:56Speaker 4: again in this matchup, especially if we can see who's
- 7:58Speaker 4: playing now on the other side. I have a lot
- 8:00Speaker 4: of arguments that could be made for lou Anrumo being
- 8:03Speaker 4: the best defense coordinator at making in game adjustments. So
- 8:06Speaker 4: the difference between the second half and the first half.
- 8:09Speaker 4: The problem is, there is still a reason that Russell
- 8:11Speaker 4: Wilson is the best in the fourth quarter. So I
- 8:13Speaker 4: think there are still too many deficiencies on that Bengals defense,
- 8:17Speaker 4: and the Steelers take this one.
- 8:19Speaker 5: So I gotta admit the longer the week went on,
- 8:21Speaker 5: I've grown increasingly uncomfortable with my own pick, and that
- 8:25Speaker 5: is that the Bengals find a way to win this
- 8:26Speaker 5: game and keep their season live twenty four to twenty
- 8:29Speaker 5: in part because I'm not quite buying what Cynthia is
- 8:32Speaker 5: selling with the Steelers' offense. Russell Wilson in the Steelers
- 8:36Speaker 5: offense hasn't been running the ball well. Now that's not
- 8:39Speaker 5: Wilson's fault, that's the offensive line, but it's been inconsistent.
- 8:42Speaker 5: They had seven quarters without scoring a touchdown. Naje Harris
- 8:45Speaker 5: not really getting it done in the red zone, Russell
- 8:48Speaker 5: Wilson four to four to eleven in those seven quarters
- 8:52Speaker 5: where they did not score a touchdown. And I think
- 8:54Speaker 5: bringing in Justin Fields makes sense because he can be
- 8:58Speaker 5: a weapon in the red zone. Maybe you don't want
- 9:00Speaker 5: to use him on other parts of the field. I
- 9:02Speaker 5: don't know, but the young offensive life that we thought
- 9:04Speaker 5: was coming together hasn't been great. And I do think
- 9:08Speaker 5: the Bengals get it done because of their offense.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm actually with Greg here.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I think the Bengals win it twenty one to twenty
- 9:15Speaker 1: finally a win because I went and looked at some headlines.
- 9:17Speaker 1: The Arizona Republic called the Week ten game against.
- 9:21Speaker 2: The Baltimore Ravens a must win. They lost.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Then the Aflon Sports said it was a must win,
- 9:27Speaker 1: and so far against.
- 9:28Speaker 2: The Chargers they lost.
- 9:30Speaker 1: This actually is a must win because I think their
- 9:32Speaker 1: opportunity to go to the playoffs, the playoff percentage chances
- 9:36Speaker 1: drops significantly.
- 9:37Speaker 2: It helps. They have a really good player, Jamar.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Chase, who has four in with ninety three yards after
- 9:41Speaker 1: the catch this season. To compare that to a player
- 9:43Speaker 1: who just has like Davante Adams, he has six more
- 9:46Speaker 1: receiving yards than DeVante Adams does just with yards after
- 9:49Speaker 1: the catch. I think the Bengals use that offense to
- 9:51Speaker 1: go off against the Steelers team and get a win.
- 9:53Speaker 2: So this is a prime number for since do the
- 9:56Speaker 2: thing you.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Know you love it, d D.
- 9:58Speaker 4: I'm very happy about my prime number.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Steelers Bengals.
- 10:02Speaker 1: One of six divisional games in week thirteen and including
- 10:04Speaker 1: in Kansas City where the Raiders had the arrowhead.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Black.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Friday Football on Prime is back. It's also here, Max Crosby.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I'm here the Las Vegas Radars Raiders against Patrick Mahomes
- 10:17Speaker 1: and the Kansas City Chiefs this Friday at three o'clock
- 10:20Speaker 1: PM Eastern only on Prime Video. All right, rousing endorsement
- 10:25Speaker 1: from the Raiders head coaches Don for quick picks. Greg,
- 10:28Speaker 1: it looks like an O'Connell is bad for the Raiders.
- 10:30Speaker 1: How does that impact your score?
- 10:32Speaker 3: Not at all? Oh, twenty seven to seventeen.
- 10:35Speaker 5: It's a bigger deal that Isaiah Pacheco is back on
- 10:39Speaker 5: the field. He's here for the Chiefs this week. They
- 10:42Speaker 5: need some explosions, especially in their backfield. Kareem Hunt came
- 10:45Speaker 5: in has helped them out a lot think he'd be
- 10:47Speaker 5: better used in short yardage.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Maybe a little less is more situation.
- 10:50Speaker 5: Pachecko can give you big plays in the passing game,
- 10:54Speaker 5: big plays in the running game, and they just need
- 10:56Speaker 5: some youth, some speed, some tackle breaking ability. This offense
- 11:00Speaker 5: has been efficient, it has not been explosive Isaiah Pachecko
- 11:03Speaker 5: can give you. And the casual way that Antonio Piers
- 11:06Speaker 5: said they're the worst team in the league, it actually
- 11:08Speaker 5: wasn't really a motivational thing. That's not making me feel
- 11:11Speaker 5: good if I'm a Raiders fan.
- 11:12Speaker 2: All right, let's go to Cyber Monday, Cynthia, where the.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Very very red hot Denver Broncos are taking on the
- 11:19Speaker 1: Cleveland Browns.
- 11:20Speaker 2: What do you see happening?
- 11:21Speaker 4: Ooh, I see a touchdown win. In my most normal
- 11:24Speaker 4: football scorer of the entire week twenty four to seventeen,
- 11:28Speaker 4: it's so interesting to watch what happens when bow Knicks
- 11:31Speaker 4: targets Courtland Sutton on go routes, as in touchdowns, as
- 11:35Speaker 4: in receptions, as in deep passes, as in all of
- 11:37Speaker 4: the things that you like to see from more veteran quarterbacks.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Bow Nix now has five games with two or more
- 11:43Speaker 4: passing touchdowns without an interception. Does he make it six?
- 11:47Speaker 4: This is a good opportunity, especially when he passes to
- 11:50Speaker 4: Courtland Sutton.
- 11:51Speaker 2: In the thick of that playoff race in the AFC.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Let's finish things up in the AFC West with the
- 11:55Speaker 1: Chargers in Atlanta to take on the Falcons, and we've
- 11:58Speaker 1: all got the bolts in this one. I like the
- 12:01Speaker 1: Chargers twenty two to nineteen with a due dude that's
- 12:04Speaker 1: playing great ball right now, justin Herbert. I think his teammates,
- 12:09Speaker 1: especially the pass catchers, actually catch the passes, have a
- 12:12Speaker 1: bounce back performance in Atlanta, where the difficulties rushing the
- 12:15Speaker 1: passer are well documented. And perhaps it was that performance
- 12:19Speaker 1: in Denver that has convinced all of us to take
- 12:21Speaker 1: the Chargers here.
- 12:22Speaker 5: Wow, on the road, Falcons fans, you're right, we don't
- 12:25Speaker 5: believe in you.
- 12:26Speaker 4: This is how I'm surprised, none of us in a vacuum.
- 12:30Speaker 2: In this game. We're not making overall commentary about the franchise.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Now, but I am about the twenty twenty four Falcons.
- 12:36Speaker 3: I don't believe in them. Bucks win the division.
- 12:38Speaker 2: That's Greg, that's not us. The statements represented by Greg
- 12:41Speaker 2: Rosenthal only.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Represent they don't have a lot of fond memories of
- 12:45Speaker 1: Patriots football. Vince Wilford causing commands but to move at
- 12:49Speaker 1: such a velocity that Mark Sanchez fumbled and Rex Ryan
- 12:52Speaker 1: had another one of his sixty six career losses that
- 12:55Speaker 1: was great, the Buck fumble and Classic Thanksgiving. We're just
- 12:59Speaker 1: hours away from the John Madden Thanksgiving celebration.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Three games on Thanksgiving. The NFL Network has got you
- 13:07Speaker 2: covered all day.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Wake up Well, Good Morning Football at eight am, followed
- 13:10Speaker 1: by Game Day Morning.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Cynthia will be there, so you should watch that show.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Then Cash Game Day Highlights after the Lions and the
- 13:16Speaker 1: Cowboys games, and Game Day Final with Me after the Packers.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Fear not. Greg Rosenthal doesn't have the day off.
- 13:23Speaker 1: He's recording NFL Daily from home, which we occasionally let
- 13:27Speaker 1: Greg go to that place like and subscribe.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Everybody, Thank you.
- 13:31Speaker 1: It's Sign for Mike, presented by the Wells Fargo Active
- 13:34Speaker 1: Cash credit Card collective Willpower as we get to look
- 13:40Speaker 1: at some really good duos six hundred rushing yards and
- 13:43Speaker 1: ten or more rushing touchdowns. The only one team represented
- 13:48Speaker 1: on this board twice, and that is Cynthia Freeland's Detroit
- 13:52Speaker 1: Lions the question as we get to this guy or
- 13:54Speaker 1: that guy, Cynthia, which one of the Lions running backs
- 13:57Speaker 1: gets into the end zone against Chicago?
- 14:00Speaker 4: Both of them. Oh, but the one that I want
- 14:02Speaker 4: to talk about is Jimier Gibbs in this matchup. Why
- 14:05Speaker 4: it's all about those explosive runs. It's all about the
- 14:08Speaker 4: potential in the pass catching game. I like both of
- 14:11Speaker 4: the I truly actually do like both of them to
- 14:13Speaker 4: get in the end zone. I'm always a little worried
- 14:15Speaker 4: when someone leaves with an injury, even if they say
- 14:17Speaker 4: that they that they're going, they could have come back
- 14:20Speaker 4: in But for the score. However, I think that the
- 14:23Speaker 4: Jamiir Gibbs, He's my second highest rated running back for
- 14:26Speaker 4: the entire week. So I mean, and with celebrations like this,
- 14:30Speaker 4: what could go wrong?
- 14:30Speaker 5: My son drafted both Jamir Gibbs and David Montgomery Walker's
- 14:34Speaker 5: here today, and they scored.
- 14:35Speaker 3: A touchdown together in nine weeks this season, so as
- 14:38Speaker 3: a winning strategy.
- 14:39Speaker 2: My only beef there is they played the ram.
- 14:41Speaker 1: You gotta do that celebration against an LA team, so
- 14:45Speaker 1: you can step over Tyron either way. Greg Ceedee Lamb
- 14:48Speaker 1: and Malik Neighbors, both playing with backup quarterbacks, which one
- 14:52Speaker 1: is more likely to get more than six.
- 14:54Speaker 3: I think it's Ceedee Lamb.
- 14:56Speaker 5: I like the way Mike McCarthy used Cede Lamb early
- 14:59Speaker 5: in that game.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Louvium all around. He's been criticized for that, and last
- 15:03Speaker 3: week CD played a lot of energy.
- 15:05Speaker 5: He's got a back like an armadillo, as Dan Campbell
- 15:07Speaker 5: was saying there, I don't know if you guys have
- 15:09Speaker 5: ever seen an armadillo in person. Very strange animals, not
- 15:12Speaker 5: what you expect, much less athletic and cool to watch
- 15:16Speaker 5: compared to CD League. A lot of times single coverage
- 15:19Speaker 5: the Giants, Leviyan like man to man.
- 15:21Speaker 3: That's not gonna work against CD.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Yeah, it doesn't work against Cooper Rush either. It completed
- 15:24Speaker 1: all these passes against van coverage last week. I gave
- 15:27Speaker 1: Greg that one so I could take this one. Tyreek
- 15:29Speaker 1: or Jayden Reid to catch a touchdown on Thanksgiving. I
- 15:33Speaker 1: like Tyreek Hill. I recognize that he hasn't gotten in
- 15:35Speaker 1: the end zone a lot recently, but neither has Jayden Reid.
- 15:38Speaker 1: And with Jalen Waddell demanding more attention after his huge
- 15:41Speaker 1: game last week, as well as the emergence of John
- 15:44Speaker 1: hu Smith.
- 15:45Speaker 2: I think that there's more attention.
- 15:47Speaker 1: That has to be paid to the other pass catchers,
- 15:49Speaker 1: and maybe Tyreek gets in the paint and tries to
- 15:51Speaker 1: take a leap in Lambeau as well. Looking forward to
- 15:55Speaker 1: those games, and folks, we're looking forward to Game Day morning.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Coming up Thursday at ten am Eastern.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Rich Eisen, Steve Mariucci, Kurt Warner, Cynthia Freeland, who has
- 16:06Speaker 1: pictured on this graphic.
- 16:07Speaker 3: There's less maybe on this week. I like it.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Maybe not as tall as things were last week.
- 16:12Speaker 4: Colleen is taller than I.
- 16:14Speaker 3: It's getting it's a.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Large version of Colleen.
- 16:16Speaker 1: The whole squad gets you set for all the games,
- 16:18Speaker 1: and that's on the third end.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Well.
- 16:20Speaker 1: John Madden Thanksgiving celebration Live reports from Bears, Lions and Giants, Cowboys,
- 16:25Speaker 1: plus a look back at some of John Madden's most
- 16:27Speaker 1: memorable calls. Thursday at ten am Eastern. Also featured on
- 16:32Speaker 1: that graphic, Kurt Warner his Rams in New Orleans. The
- 16:35Speaker 1: Saints are home underdogs. Both teams need a win to
- 16:37Speaker 1: stay in the mix for a playoff spot, which one gets.
- 16:40Speaker 4: At Cynthia, Okay, so in my regular model, I have
- 16:42Speaker 4: a Rams win by one point. I've been playing with
- 16:44Speaker 4: this Ats model because we're allowed to talk about that
- 16:47Speaker 4: this year, and in that one, the Rams win by
- 16:49Speaker 4: even more. I feel very strongly about that. Why because
- 16:53Speaker 4: of Yack both yards after the catch and yards after contact.
- 16:57Speaker 4: This is a team in the Saints, and even though
- 17:00Speaker 4: they had the like the Rizzy infusion of excitement, they
- 17:03Speaker 4: still have been missing tackles at an extremely high rate
- 17:07Speaker 4: in both phases of the game. You are seeing Pukinakua
- 17:10Speaker 4: right now. We could also be showing Cooper Cup. We
- 17:12Speaker 4: could also be showing Kyron Williams. Heck, we could even
- 17:15Speaker 4: show a tight end in the situation. So ultimately, it
- 17:18Speaker 4: is the opportunity for the playmakers to get yards after
- 17:22Speaker 4: whatever thing they're trying to do, be it a run
- 17:24Speaker 4: or a pass. That informs this one for me.
- 17:26Speaker 5: You know, I see Rams Saints in the Superdome and
- 17:30Speaker 5: I think super Bowl.
- 17:31Speaker 3: No, I don't think that's happening.
- 17:33Speaker 5: But they have played big games, you know what I'm
- 17:34Speaker 5: talking about, the NFC champions.
- 17:36Speaker 3: Oh no, let's just take it back.
- 17:38Speaker 5: This one a troubling moment in boy NFL history. Frankly,
- 17:43Speaker 5: I always wonder would the Saints have beaten those Patriots
- 17:46Speaker 5: that year in the Super Bowl.
- 17:47Speaker 3: I think they would have had a chance.
- 17:49Speaker 5: Sean McVay when he goes to New Orleans, he brings
- 17:52Speaker 5: some sort of voodoo. It's strong, it's powerful, It gets
- 17:56Speaker 5: lucky calls, maybe lucky games, even against the greats like
- 18:00Speaker 5: Drew Brees. So if he could beat Drew Brees, you
- 18:01Speaker 5: know it could beat Derek Carr and Darren Rizzy. Rizzie
- 18:04Speaker 5: ball is a force stronger than most out there. But
- 18:08Speaker 5: this Rams team, I think they're the best bad team
- 18:11Speaker 5: in the league. They beat the bad teams and maybe
- 18:14Speaker 5: they're not ready to beat the good teams, but I
- 18:16Speaker 5: think they get to six and six and they stay relevant.
- 18:18Speaker 5: Remember that exciting young Sean mcfay. He's gonna get it done.
- 18:21Speaker 2: He's still exciting.
- 18:25Speaker 5: He doesn't seem as like exciting like he's just been
- 18:28Speaker 5: through a lot, you know what I mean.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Well, the Saints franchise has been through a lot recently.
- 18:32Speaker 1: If Darrenrizzy is able to get his third win, he
- 18:34Speaker 1: will have a third of the best wins total in
- 18:37Speaker 1: a season that the previous head coach ever had in
- 18:40Speaker 1: Dennis Allen. But I am also taking the Los Angeles
- 18:44Speaker 1: rams here twenty three to twenty on the strength of
- 18:47Speaker 1: a pass rush in a really great rookie matchup here,
- 18:50Speaker 1: as Jared Verse has the most pressures of any rookie,
- 18:53Speaker 1: twelve more than any other rookie to be precise, and
- 18:55Speaker 1: Saints rookie to last, Fuaga's pressure rate.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Is the lowest among rookies.
- 18:59Speaker 1: A great matchup to watch there, But I think the
- 19:02Speaker 1: high powered ability of this rams offense as well as
- 19:05Speaker 1: the veteran talent making the push there, and they're able
- 19:08Speaker 1: to get a win in the Superdome.
- 19:10Speaker 2: So we were all on the La.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Rams Don for quick picks here on game debut, Cynthia.
- 19:15Speaker 1: We got six games left and only six minutes to
- 19:17Speaker 1: get through them.
- 19:18Speaker 2: This is why we call it quick picks. So Cardinals Vikings.
- 19:21Speaker 4: Please the Vikings by five. I hear, this is a
- 19:24Speaker 4: prime number. Okay, give it to me. I love every
- 19:28Speaker 4: bit of this. Let's just talk about Jordan Addison, who
- 19:30Speaker 4: did that incredible dance that we saw coming into this segment.
- 19:34Speaker 4: I couldn't do that. Maybe a little too old for that.
- 19:36Speaker 4: But ultimately what I'm talking about is the fact that
- 19:39Speaker 4: they have all of their pass catchers in lockstep. Now,
- 19:43Speaker 4: we saw a massive game from Jordan Addison, We saw
- 19:45Speaker 4: the first one hundred yard game from TJ. Hockinson. You know,
- 19:48Speaker 4: justin Jefferson's still there. Maybe they'll have to, you know,
- 19:51Speaker 4: give him a few extra steps on the defense because
- 19:53Speaker 4: everyone else is catching passes five points. How on earth
- 19:57Speaker 4: are you letting me do this? I'm a favorite at home.
- 20:01Speaker 3: It's disrespectful just to this game that's in quick. This
- 20:04Speaker 3: is a great game.
- 20:05Speaker 5: Fine vikings, but I think that the Cardinals syre gonna bound.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:08Speaker 1: I generally have questionable decision making, So that's why I
- 20:11Speaker 1: chose that the Seahawks Jets. We all like Seattle to win,
- 20:14Speaker 1: largely because not big fans Jets offense. Only one of us,
- 20:17Speaker 1: in Cynthia, has them scoring more than twenty points, and
- 20:20Speaker 1: she's just giving them twenty one points.
- 20:22Speaker 2: And now the.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Task is taking on a Seahawks defense that's giving up
- 20:25Speaker 1: less than twelve.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Points a game. Since the buye And yes.
- 20:31Speaker 1: I choose to talk about the Seahawks defense and maybe
- 20:34Speaker 1: not the three to eight team that.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Gets more discussion. That's probably warranted. Greg.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Let's go to the Bucks and the Panthers. The Panthers
- 20:40Speaker 1: almost beat the Chiefs until mahomes Is did Mahomesy and things.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Can they knock off the Bucks this week?
- 20:46Speaker 3: They can.
- 20:47Speaker 5: I don't have them doing it, but I do have
- 20:48Speaker 5: them covering the number thirty to twenty six. Because as
- 20:52Speaker 5: great as Bryce Young is playing right now, and he's
- 20:54Speaker 5: stepped up a level, Baker Mayfield has been at that
- 20:57Speaker 5: level for a while.
- 20:58Speaker 3: This season.
- 20:59Speaker 5: Mike Evans comes back into the mix and he plays
- 21:03Speaker 5: even better.
- 21:03Speaker 3: He's right and all over the Giants.
- 21:05Speaker 5: He's making good decisions, he's getting rid of the ball,
- 21:07Speaker 5: and he's making you know about it. If you're gonna win,
- 21:10Speaker 5: make sure they know. And there's a lot of winning
- 21:13Speaker 5: against this Panthers defense. I think Bryce Young can keep
- 21:15Speaker 5: up in a shootout. It's just his defense is maybe
- 21:18Speaker 5: the worst in the league. Bucks defense not at that level.
- 21:21Speaker 5: Tampa gets to win, they might win this division.
- 21:23Speaker 2: All right.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Let's look over at some games that we don't necessarily
- 21:26Speaker 1: think are very high scoring.
- 21:27Speaker 2: You guys laugh to my thirteen twelve score.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Folks in Gravegas agree the over under thirty seven and
- 21:32Speaker 1: a half for Giants, Cowboys, Brown's Broncos right behind them,
- 21:36Speaker 1: and then the Colts and Patriots at forty two and
- 21:38Speaker 1: a half, last number on that board. Speaking of numbers,
- 21:41Speaker 1: let's discuss over or under here. On game day, you
- 21:45Speaker 1: will start with one of those games, the Colts and
- 21:47Speaker 1: the Patriots.
- 21:48Speaker 2: I've got the over at forty two.
- 21:51Speaker 1: And a half because I think the Colts will score
- 21:54Speaker 1: and we've seen these teams beat around that area. But
- 21:57Speaker 1: I think the Colts offense is enough to get us
- 21:59Speaker 1: over that number.
- 22:00Speaker 5: Yeah, Colts Patriots, a little AFC East rivalry re nude
- 22:04Speaker 5: from back in the day. These two quarterbacks are playing outstanding.
- 22:07Speaker 5: I don't trust the Patriots defense at Also, I have
- 22:10Speaker 5: a big Colts victory, but I think Drake May gets
- 22:13Speaker 5: it done enough on offense to get to the number.
- 22:15Speaker 3: I do not.
- 22:16Speaker 4: I have the under in this one. I think it's
- 22:18Speaker 4: gonna be a nice day for you know, potentially watching
- 22:21Speaker 4: running backs Jonathan Taylor forecast to have a nice one
- 22:24Speaker 4: in this one. Samee with Ramandre Stevenson. So more running,
- 22:26Speaker 4: fewer positions. It's just less then less.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Then let's go to the Titans and Commanders. The Washington
- 22:32Speaker 1: team losing three straight. They'll go into the buy with
- 22:36Speaker 1: a win, I believe, But I'm also taking the under
- 22:39Speaker 1: in this one. I think the Titans will try to
- 22:41Speaker 1: keep Jaden Daniels and the Washington Commanders off the field
- 22:44Speaker 1: and pound Tony Pollard on the ground, as well as
- 22:47Speaker 1: late season Cliff not necessarily scoring that many points, So
- 22:50Speaker 1: I've got the under.
- 22:51Speaker 5: One of my favorite picks of the week is the
- 22:53Speaker 5: Titans covering this spread, maybe even winning outright, and it's
- 22:56Speaker 5: going to be a low scoring game. Twenty one to
- 22:58Speaker 5: twenty is the score that I have in this one.
- 23:00Speaker 5: The Titans are outstanding at one thing as a team.
- 23:03Speaker 3: And that's oping the run.
- 23:05Speaker 5: And if you stop Washington and make them one dimensional,
- 23:07Speaker 5: it's going to be tough for them to win, tough
- 23:09Speaker 5: for them to score.
- 23:10Speaker 3: Twenty one twenty. I think it's gonna be a close one.
- 23:12Speaker 4: I agree with you that the Titans keep it close,
- 23:15Speaker 4: but I think it's more. I think they keep it
- 23:16Speaker 4: close because they score. And I think jayde and Daniels.
- 23:19Speaker 4: I watched him both rush for seventy four yards last
- 23:21Speaker 4: week and pass a late touchdown to Terry McLaurin a
- 23:24Speaker 4: deep one too, so high leverage situations. I think both
- 23:27Speaker 4: quarterbacks can show you a little something here. I mean, plus,
- 23:30Speaker 4: we know will. It was just like likes a lot
- 23:31Speaker 4: of craziness.
- 23:33Speaker 1: All right, Let's go to the last one here the
- 23:35Speaker 1: Texans and the Jags, where I am taking the under again.
- 23:39Speaker 1: I've got twenty three to eighteen, which adds up to
- 23:43Speaker 1: forty one.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Which is under forty three. So that's that's my excuse
- 23:46Speaker 2: that I can count.
- 23:47Speaker 3: I'm gonna take it the underd I am going way over.
- 23:50Speaker 5: Like I said, my sun Walker's in the crowd here
- 23:52Speaker 5: today a live studio audience. Is Texans, which have really
- 23:55Speaker 5: been bubbing him out, are going to give him something
- 23:57Speaker 5: to cheer about this weekend.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Four touchdowns for C. D.
- 24:00Speaker 5: Stroud all Tonico Collins, fantasy points galore for the Stack,
- 24:04Speaker 5: and the Texans get off the schneid and they go
- 24:07Speaker 5: into the buy feeling good in a high scoring game.
- 24:09Speaker 4: I love Walker's reaction right now. It's kind of like this.
- 24:11Speaker 4: I also have more points than the number. I have
- 24:14Speaker 4: a Nico Collins slashdown. But let's not forget about Joe Mixon.
- 24:17Speaker 4: This team goes the way of Joe Mixon. I think
- 24:20Speaker 4: he has a massive game as well. I think he
- 24:22Speaker 4: could see the end zone twice.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Walker feels good about our tech O Tappy. He doesn't
- 24:28Speaker 1: like my point total, but the fact that the stack
- 24:30Speaker 1: of Nico Collins and CJ. Stroud is going to combine
- 24:33Speaker 1: for like eighty fantasy points, that that works.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Out, folks. We've got more to come here on Game Debut.
- 24:38Speaker 1: In fact, last week I told you to write it
- 24:39Speaker 1: down that Gordon and Sutton would have a big day
- 24:41Speaker 1: against the Raiders.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Nailed it. So what are you writing down this week?
- 24:45Speaker 1: This is a tease. I'm not gonna tell you. You
- 24:47Speaker 1: gotta stick around for the answer here on Game Debut. Oh,
- 24:51Speaker 1: simply the absolute best, folks. Thursday, ten am Eastern. Rich Ousen, Steve,
- 24:56Speaker 1: Mary Yucci, Kurt Warner, Cendia Freeland and friends. Get you
- 24:58Speaker 1: set for all the games on the third annual John
- 25:01Speaker 1: Madden Thanksgiving Celebration.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Live reports from Bear's Line and.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Giants Cowboys, plus I look back at some of John
- 25:07Speaker 1: Madden's most memorable calls.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Thursday at ten a m. Eastern.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Time for us to make our calls as we get
- 25:14Speaker 1: to write this down some surefire, we hope predictions for
- 25:19Speaker 1: He's starting with Greg Roseen.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm on a one game winning streak.
- 25:22Speaker 5: Finally got to write this down to hit last week,
- 25:24Speaker 5: and we're gonna have it happen again in a Packers game.
- 25:27Speaker 5: This time it's Tua tongue of I Looa. I know
- 25:29Speaker 5: I went against Miami earlier, but I think they cover
- 25:31Speaker 5: the spread, and I think they do it with a
- 25:32Speaker 5: lot of passing yards from Tua Tongue of I Looa.
- 25:35Speaker 5: This Packers defense, no JayR Alexander, no Edger and Cooper.
- 25:39Speaker 5: I think the Dolphins could be trailing in this game.
- 25:41Speaker 5: So Tua is throwing quite a bit. He's very efficient.
- 25:45Speaker 5: They can't run the ball at all in Miami, so
- 25:48Speaker 5: it's all passing all the time. Tua goes over his
- 25:51Speaker 5: two hundred and forty passing yards.
- 25:53Speaker 4: What you like Dolphins golf so badly? I'm being a homer.
- 25:57Speaker 4: Why because I can and the matt supports it, Jared Goff.
- 26:01Speaker 4: He's going to have at least two passing touchdowns. It's
- 26:04Speaker 4: going to just be more than one and a half
- 26:06Speaker 4: passing touchdowns. If you look at some of the coverages
- 26:08Speaker 4: that the Bears put on the field, well you know
- 26:10Speaker 4: who's great at diagnosing them and dicing them up. As
- 26:13Speaker 4: you would say, Jared Goff. I think the opportunity here
- 26:16Speaker 4: for aman Rossney Brown to show up and show out
- 26:19Speaker 4: at home on Thanksgiving and their first winning eight seasons.
- 26:22Speaker 5: Let's go, Jared, don't embarrass Cynthia huge stakes because the
- 26:26Speaker 5: last time a team has won the thing that Cynthia
- 26:29Speaker 5: doesn't say and played on Thanksgiving was.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Nineteen ninety five to ninety five Cowboys.
- 26:34Speaker 1: My write this down, which is very important to me
- 26:36Speaker 1: because it's the only thing on the show that I'm
- 26:37Speaker 1: actually winning. I think Romodnsea will have more than forty
- 26:42Speaker 1: three and a half receiving yards against the Lions on Thursday.
- 26:45Speaker 2: It's not besmersing the Lions at all.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Symp just have to throw the ball a ton and
- 26:50Speaker 1: Romo Dunsay in the last two weeks has got twenty targets.
- 26:53Speaker 1: I think ten targets again adds up to more than
- 26:55Speaker 1: forty three and a half yards and I.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Can maintain a lead. And again, the only thing I'm
- 27:00Speaker 2: winning on this show, Ah.
- 27:02Speaker 3: You're winning.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Well, I'm winning a general because I.
- 27:04Speaker 4: Get the cards per target. I'm fine with that.
- 27:06Speaker 1: I get this holiday with you guys, your families as well.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Thanks for spending time with us on game debut percentedby
- 27:12Speaker 1: Mercedes Benz.
- 27:13Speaker 2: We'll see you next week. Eat safe, everybody
