Why do we take communion? Why the bread and the cup? And why did Jesus tell His followers to remember Him?
In Week 3 of Why Do We Do That?, we look at the Lord's Supper and what it means to remember Jesus together. Communion points us back to the cross, inward toward our hearts, around at the body of Christ and forward to Jesus' return.
We take communion because we are forgetful people and the Gospel is too important to forget.
