- 0:42Speaker 1: Welcome, Welcome, welcome.
- 0:46Speaker 3: You're listening to the Sports Shock Show. I'm the Sportshock
- 0:49Speaker 3: Wayne Gandy, Good morning, tell you out there and listening land.
- 0:53Speaker 3: I'm glad to be here with you. It is a beautiful,
- 0:57Speaker 3: rainy chili day, really the first kind of serious fall
- 1:04Speaker 3: day we've had here in the Atlanta area.
- 1:07Speaker 6: We have missed you.
- 1:08Speaker 3: We're glad to be back so much in the last
- 1:12Speaker 3: seven days the NBA season starting. And on that note,
- 1:19Speaker 3: it's good to see you, a I good to see you, brother,
- 1:25Speaker 3: It's good to see you.
- 1:27Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:27Speaker 3: The sports jock is a I cheer for people. I
- 1:29Speaker 3: hope that at some point look in the mirror. It
- 1:32Speaker 3: took you a while all the way to fifty. We've
- 1:35Speaker 3: been knowing you since she was eighteen. It took you
- 1:36Speaker 3: to fifty. Realize, Man, go and take advantage of all
- 1:43Speaker 3: that you have done. This was always in front of you,
- 1:48Speaker 3: and it's just glad to see you capitalized. You did
- 1:50Speaker 3: all that work, and on that page of keeping it real,
- 1:57Speaker 3: you let a lot. This was you made a let
- 2:00Speaker 3: and Ai, you really did, and you just wasted years.
- 2:07Speaker 9: Of this.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Trying to perpetuate something to an audience that they we
- 2:13Speaker 3: ain't gonna buy no ticket to the concert. You gotta
- 2:18Speaker 3: go out there and get it. That don't mean you're
- 2:20Speaker 3: less Dan do it. When I see you doing your commercials,
- 2:23Speaker 3: you steal Ai. I don't know why you had this idea,
- 2:27Speaker 3: and we see a lot of men and women do that,
- 2:31Speaker 3: trying to feed into a persona and miss out on avenues.
- 2:37Speaker 3: That was you had already dug the trench. You put
- 2:41Speaker 3: in the work that you could have. You could have
- 2:43Speaker 3: been anything. You could have been the probably the GM
- 2:46Speaker 3: of the sixers.
- 2:49Speaker 6: But you can't do it.
- 2:51Speaker 3: In Tim's and averyxe jacket thought. But if you just
- 2:57Speaker 3: switch over to that little sports coach, just keep it
- 2:59Speaker 3: in the backs.
- 3:01Speaker 6: For the meeting.
- 3:03Speaker 10: We ain't even asking you to just flip out real quick,
- 3:05Speaker 10: flap lapp and go as soon.
- 3:08Speaker 6: As the meeting over with the with the Coca Cola
- 3:12Speaker 6: people or the bud like people, and go back to
- 3:14Speaker 6: the car and flip back.
- 3:17Speaker 3: How hard is that you did all the work, all
- 3:20Speaker 3: them fifty point games, all the memorable moments you gave us.
- 3:23Speaker 3: And I'm going on about it because I'm so happy
- 3:26Speaker 3: to see this man who delighted us. But we all
- 3:32Speaker 3: know that he boxed hisself into where all he was
- 3:36Speaker 3: selling was sprite and sneakers, and he left all the
- 3:42Speaker 3: oatmeal and the batteries and the yetty commercials and the
- 3:48Speaker 3: stuff that we're seeing him on late night talk show.
- 3:50Speaker 3: You can talk, man, You don't have to keep with that,
- 3:54Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying, Man, Stop backing like that.
- 3:58Speaker 3: You've grown way your vocabulary. It's far deeper and richer
- 4:04Speaker 3: then you sitting there trying to use in this kind
- 4:07Speaker 3: of a I'm a hole, I'm a box, and keep
- 4:09Speaker 3: on these four words.
- 4:13Speaker 6: And I'm just I'm serious.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Just seeing him in different commercials, seeing people want to
- 4:18Speaker 3: engage with him. He's an NBA legend that just kind
- 4:25Speaker 3: of that didn't. He was Steph Curry before Stephan Steph
- 4:29Speaker 3: Curry with an edge, and Steph Curry probably is the
- 4:34Speaker 3: same type alpha killer off screen than he is on.
- 4:40Speaker 6: He just knows. Hey, man, okay, pull out. That's all
- 4:43Speaker 6: you gotta do.
- 4:44Speaker 11: Grant.
- 4:45Speaker 3: They ain't telling you got to wear it all day.
- 4:48Speaker 3: They saying doing the two outbends and meeting raped a little.
- 4:51Speaker 3: I'm not getting in plaid or tweed. No, don't get
- 4:55Speaker 3: it in some kind of.
- 4:58Speaker 10: And y'all and the three of you understand, and we
- 5:00Speaker 10: can move on simple things like showing up to your
- 5:03Speaker 10: jersey retirement.
- 5:05Speaker 6: In some teams.
- 5:08Speaker 3: They're gonna put you the great Allan iverson. People can
- 5:11Speaker 3: argue that you're the greatest sixer that ever played. And
- 5:15Speaker 3: nobody can sit there and be like, no, man, you
- 5:18Speaker 3: ain't got no case. No he has a case, just
- 5:21Speaker 3: be able to say that he you know, he was
- 5:23Speaker 3: just missing the championship and if he could have brought
- 5:26Speaker 3: one championship with what he you definitely would have had
- 5:29Speaker 3: a case for it. So again, doctor, and then you
- 5:32Speaker 3: come up to things where you just needed a blazer.
- 5:36Speaker 12: And uh, I gotta say, as a life long proponent
- 5:41Speaker 12: of keeping it real went a long way with a
- 5:44Speaker 12: little bit of vizine and some cologne. You know what
- 5:47Speaker 12: I'm saying. We ain't gonna be here with about forty
- 5:50Speaker 12: five minutes. You said, look, bro, I'm gonna button his
- 5:52Speaker 12: shirt up all the way to the top. I'm gonna
- 5:54Speaker 12: throw a little town with it. I'm gonna hit some
- 5:56Speaker 12: of vizine in the eyes and I smell normal now.
- 6:01Speaker 12: And we're gonna do this for an hour, and then
- 6:03Speaker 12: after this hour we're gonna go right back to everything
- 6:06Speaker 12: that we've been doing.
- 6:06Speaker 3: I capitalize on what you are and you put it
- 6:09Speaker 3: into work.
- 6:10Speaker 6: Yeah you did.
- 6:11Speaker 12: You didn't sneak in here? Yeah, that's the thing. I
- 6:16Speaker 12: didn't sneak in. It's just when I get in, people
- 6:18Speaker 12: start going, what what is that?
- 6:21Speaker 6: What is that you? That's the answer. That's the answer. Answer.
- 6:26Speaker 12: Oh, if you could if you could have if you
- 6:29Speaker 12: could have just tempered that, If you could have just
- 6:31Speaker 12: tempered that for how long?
- 6:35Speaker 6: Two hours? Two hours a day, hour every weekend, where
- 6:40Speaker 6: could things have gone? Because it was put on the
- 6:42Speaker 6: polo shirt right after practice. Go over to the hospital
- 6:46Speaker 6: me to you know, go over there with just.
- 6:47Speaker 3: The sixers polo They heading them out in the equipment room,
- 6:52Speaker 3: you go in and get your own already says the
- 6:54Speaker 3: answer on them, they're not its sixers, and then the answer.
- 6:59Speaker 10: Already stitched normal was even the least bit formal. Is
- 7:03Speaker 10: that's too much to ask. I just need like two
- 7:07Speaker 10: hours of it, two hours. But you know, I got
- 7:14Speaker 10: about maybe three million dollars for two hours, two whole hours.
- 7:19Speaker 10: Though how much I get for ten minutes.
- 7:21Speaker 12: I'm saying for just three for just three million dollars.
- 7:25Speaker 12: And I think a lot of times sports Jack having.
- 7:30Speaker 6: Been full of hubris, a person imagines that this moment
- 7:34Speaker 6: will be an eternity. I will be this person in
- 7:37Speaker 6: this position for as long as I'm me. And that's
- 7:41Speaker 6: just not the reality of it. In the in the
- 7:43Speaker 6: window is it's sometimes it's cool until you bring kids
- 7:49Speaker 6: on the planet and then they take you to boxes where.
- 7:57Speaker 3: You have to leave and be you. You have to
- 8:00Speaker 3: be Actually, Alan Iverson, not Ai not the answer. Everybody
- 8:06Speaker 3: in the room understands who you are. But in this
- 8:08Speaker 3: meeting with Principal so and so, Alan Jr. Alan Jr.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Is on a turtle level with his read that kind
- 8:17Speaker 3: of situation. But I was happy to see and it's
- 8:20Speaker 3: sincere coming from me. But good morning out there, command
- 8:23Speaker 3: you Greg Big Kenny, the bad producer in the building,
- 8:26Speaker 3: Monday night football tonight. I know Jaydon Danes and this
- 8:29Speaker 3: is why a lot of people were scared of drafting
- 8:33Speaker 3: Jaydon Daniels. This is why, you know, until he just
- 8:37Speaker 3: had that crazy season his last year at LSU. But
- 8:40Speaker 3: a lot of it was always centered around injury that
- 8:45Speaker 3: he and his weight is so evenly distributed that you
- 8:49Speaker 3: can't see to the two ten.
- 8:53Speaker 6: It's thin.
- 8:54Speaker 3: It's then I'm saying this because I go to I
- 8:56Speaker 3: call these games. I go out and watch the young players.
- 8:58Speaker 3: I'm looking, are you thicking a certain area? Are your
- 9:02Speaker 3: legs for what your job is supposed to be, not
- 9:05Speaker 3: what somebody else is in So Jayde Daniels and then
- 9:08Speaker 3: you know he's always when he leaves the pocket, he's
- 9:12Speaker 3: kind of like Lamar Jackson was those first couple of years.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Now Lamar has beefed up a little bit, so you
- 9:17Speaker 3: don't have that anxiety, but hopefully he gets back soon.
- 9:21Speaker 3: But Marcus Mariota is going to start there in Kansas City,
- 9:25Speaker 3: taking on a hot Chiefs team that seemed to be
- 9:27Speaker 3: getting all their speed players back offensively, So that should
- 9:31Speaker 3: be you know, a better game, if a much better
- 9:35Speaker 3: game in your mind, Jaydon Daniels there, but maybe Marcus
- 9:38Speaker 3: Mariota can give us some entertainment moments tonight on the
- 9:41Speaker 3: Monday Night stage. One thing before we go to break,
- 9:45Speaker 3: got a lot to talk about, especially some of the
- 9:48Speaker 3: great subjects that the bad producer likes to do. Gambling.
- 9:50Speaker 3: We got to talk about gambling. Got to talk about gambling. Gambling,
- 9:57Speaker 3: we got to talk about gamble. Yeah, gambling, I want
- 10:00Speaker 3: to talk about it.
- 10:00Speaker 6: I got to talk about one of my least favorite subjects,
- 10:03Speaker 6: FBI damning.
- 10:05Speaker 3: But also and seeing Ellen Irons in this week, I
- 10:08Speaker 3: saw Christmas commercials.
- 10:10Speaker 6: Ah, don't start, don't start.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Now, don't do What is our obsession to need to
- 10:19Speaker 3: celebrate stuff that's not even here? Like I hear people
- 10:23Speaker 3: they'll be like, hey, man, what you do. I'm going
- 10:25Speaker 3: to a costume Halloween party. It's not a Halloween party.
- 10:30Speaker 3: If it's not on Halloween, it's not a Halloween party.
- 10:34Speaker 3: And you're just having a costume party.
- 10:36Speaker 6: Costume. You can have a costume party any day, a
- 10:38Speaker 6: day of the week, or the year of the year.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Yes, that's correact you trying to have it on October
- 10:45Speaker 3: thirteen to say that it's a Halloween party, but it's
- 10:49Speaker 3: not Halloween.
- 10:52Speaker 6: Semantics, it's not Halloween. You're talking to. You're talking to
- 10:57Speaker 6: three weeks before morning. You're speaking, you speak, that's not
- 11:00Speaker 6: that's that's just a costume party, Halloween party. So no, no,
- 11:07Speaker 6: that's see. That's what I'm saying, is the Christmas party
- 11:11Speaker 6: on October. The Halloween parties was this weekend. And then
- 11:14Speaker 6: there's a Halloween party like on November the first, or
- 11:17Speaker 6: no women's second on Saturday night. It's still a Halloween party.
- 11:21Speaker 6: But if you say it, even the trunk of treats,
- 11:24Speaker 6: come get the kids, come get your kiddy. I thought
- 11:27Speaker 6: we was supposed to get our candy on Halloween.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Everything about Halloween is supposed to happen on Halloween. You
- 11:35Speaker 3: might you might miss somebody's party because it's ten different parties.
- 11:41Speaker 3: That is life, missing out on stuff, making a choice,
- 11:45Speaker 3: or making it like, Okay, I gotta go the three
- 11:48Speaker 3: different places tonight. Some people remember the old time, I
- 11:52Speaker 3: got to make three different parts.
- 11:53Speaker 12: That's the old thinking. It's October all all October is Halloween.
- 11:59Speaker 12: Because I can sell you Halloween stuff all of out
- 12:02Speaker 12: that don't make it Halloween, maad does.
- 12:04Speaker 4: No.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Yes, if you look at it, me having my birthday
- 12:09Speaker 3: party to day and I'm my birthday is not until February.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Is not my birthday party a little bit not Actually
- 12:19Speaker 3: it's it's sort of like a little bit no, because
- 12:23Speaker 3: they're gonna write in my obituary that I died at
- 12:26Speaker 3: the age that I died.
- 12:28Speaker 6: I didn't make it to that birthday. They give six
- 12:31Speaker 6: month birthday parties for kids. Now we'll be back more
- 12:34Speaker 6: than Sports Duck Show, but we can't say costumes for
- 12:37Speaker 6: your birthday, right.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Truck, I can't lose with twenty two. That's what's up.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Running in the fact better than the dog.
- 12:49Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeo, don't boy.

- 16:10Speaker 3: Its on all night on the Beast to the Breaking.
- 16:13Speaker 11: Then I'm going to Miami.
- 16:15Speaker 14: Welcome to.
- 16:18Speaker 3: The rainstorms.
- 16:19Speaker 6: Welcome back to this spot Shock Show. I'm the Sportshock
- 16:21Speaker 6: Wayne KNT.
- 16:23Speaker 3: A happy Monday to you as we come off of
- 16:26Speaker 3: another whole week of sports. As we wake up another
- 16:31Speaker 3: firing on the collegiate level and booge they have decided
- 16:38Speaker 3: to let Brian Kelly go after four plus season. They
- 16:44Speaker 3: are going to let Frank Wilson. I would imagine he
- 16:47Speaker 3: must be a coach on the staff take over uh
- 16:50Speaker 3: for this LSU team and guys, one of the things
- 16:54Speaker 3: I would love to talk about on this subject is
- 16:56Speaker 3: that should there be a little grace period for these
- 17:04Speaker 3: coaches here to get situated on how because you're asking,
- 17:10Speaker 3: in a sense college coaches and some of these guys
- 17:15Speaker 3: that's all they've ever been college coaches, to now be
- 17:19Speaker 3: more pro coaches, to operate more in the mentality of
- 17:28Speaker 3: the pro It's no more grooming to answering to my voice.
- 17:34Speaker 3: I got to Auburn coach Bud Casey brought me out
- 17:39Speaker 3: of Hayines City. He was the running back coach. Get
- 17:42Speaker 3: up five am and go to practice. He you know,
- 17:45Speaker 3: you sing this song blood on the saddle as we
- 17:49Speaker 3: walked out the practice. If we got to rebuild you
- 17:52Speaker 3: and how Auburn played football, and as you go in it,
- 17:56Speaker 3: it becomes a part of you. It becomes how you
- 18:00Speaker 3: see football. It's how you play.
- 18:02Speaker 11: Now.
- 18:02Speaker 3: These coaches don't have that. They're dealing like a pro team.
- 18:06Speaker 3: I'm dealing with free agents that someone else groomed how
- 18:13Speaker 3: to play football. They're not the tar heel way, they're
- 18:17Speaker 3: not the seminole way. They're coming here from Michigan State
- 18:22Speaker 3: and however they were doing it, And you gotta take
- 18:25Speaker 3: however they play ball. Because remember, I'm just scouting.
- 18:29Speaker 6: All I can scout is your talent and think about it,
- 18:31Speaker 6: not your personality that depending on who you are, the
- 18:36Speaker 6: way they play ball where you came from might have
- 18:39Speaker 6: been do your thing, make it up as you go along.
- 18:43Speaker 12: So you come to my program being used to doing
- 18:47Speaker 12: what it is you want to do the way you
- 18:50Speaker 12: want to do it. And now we got to get
- 18:53Speaker 12: that part settled first before you start trying to get
- 18:56Speaker 12: into some sort of system.
- 18:59Speaker 6: But this is the thing.
- 19:01Speaker 12: The university's the coaching staff for whatever reasons that exist.
- 19:09Speaker 12: That is the landscape now. And everybody has accepted that. No, no,
- 19:14Speaker 12: Dabo Sweeney hasn't accepted it. A lot of these coaches
- 19:17Speaker 12: retired because they weren't going to accept it, and a
- 19:19Speaker 12: lot of them are still pushing back. Remember this was
- 19:22Speaker 12: not a coach's decision.
- 19:24Speaker 6: I'm saying. The universities are allowing this to happen now,
- 19:28Speaker 6: I guess, but they're not allowing me to adjust right
- 19:32Speaker 6: now I want to. I've always been confused a lot
- 19:35Speaker 6: of times about when you see a coach fired, they
- 19:39Speaker 6: always put it on the athletic director. The athletic director
- 19:43Speaker 6: is a agent of the university. Correct They operate as
- 19:48Speaker 6: someone who is.
- 19:49Speaker 3: In a g He's basically the GM the president of
- 19:52Speaker 3: the sports part.
- 19:53Speaker 6: Of the sports part, right, but he's still answers to
- 19:56Speaker 6: the chancellor correct as to the president's school of the school. Actually,
- 20:01Speaker 6: in actuality he answers to big booster, the boot and
- 20:06Speaker 6: that's where it goes. Well, that's who that's who fires
- 20:10Speaker 6: these Yeah, the boosters, That's what I'm saying.
- 20:12Speaker 12: So already the university has had their hands tied as
- 20:18Speaker 12: to what kind of morals and standards we can place
- 20:22Speaker 12: on this because you letting the man who's run by
- 20:25Speaker 12: the boosters run this and if the boosters.
- 20:28Speaker 6: Say do it, he's going to do what they tell
- 20:31Speaker 6: him to do. Basically, that's what is just sitting here
- 20:33Speaker 6: this reading minute said basically last over the last seven
- 20:36Speaker 6: hours on Sunday, it was mostly the prominent boosters, the
- 20:41Speaker 6: main key university figures, the and athletic officials and even
- 20:47Speaker 6: some political figures who haggled over to what to pay
- 20:49Speaker 6: out to buy was going to be to get.
- 20:52Speaker 10: They knew they were going to let it go. But
- 20:54Speaker 10: I'm saying all this James Franklin got fired at PennState.
- 20:59Speaker 10: Sam was his name from Architas Richardson the football that
- 21:05Speaker 10: I know you're talking about it. I can't remember they
- 21:07Speaker 10: got fired as well.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Yeah, And I'm saying, like Dundee before Mike Gundy, and
- 21:13Speaker 3: I'm saying not trying to place blame. I'm saying there
- 21:16Speaker 3: seems not to be in a grace period where you're
- 21:18Speaker 3: trying to take guys who this is why they only
- 21:21Speaker 3: own the college level. That's why some guys have tried
- 21:26Speaker 3: pro and came back because it's a different chess board.
- 21:31Speaker 3: We're still playing chess, different type of board. And when
- 21:35Speaker 3: you take Brian Kelly and you're willing to let a
- 21:37Speaker 3: man go at these kind of prices owing round fifty
- 21:43Speaker 3: million dollars to lead because these free agents basically didn't
- 21:49Speaker 3: pan out. And when I say attitude, Cam Newton came
- 21:52Speaker 3: to Auburn, but that was a Florida mentality. Auburn doesn't
- 21:58Speaker 3: recruit guys that are voice. They don't have a We're
- 22:03Speaker 3: not those that kind of university. We're not to look
- 22:06Speaker 3: at me university like that. It's hard pressed for you
- 22:10Speaker 3: to find a memory about an Auburn player or game
- 22:13Speaker 3: where even if the play was spectacular, it become a
- 22:17Speaker 3: Cam Newton moment. He brought a different energy and rightfully
- 22:22Speaker 3: he won the Heisman, but it was Auburn has always
- 22:25Speaker 3: had more of a professional Cam brought when I come
- 22:29Speaker 3: to work business. Yeah, and that's what I'm saying. So,
- 22:31Speaker 3: but Cam, who originally went to Florida, brought Florida mentality
- 22:39Speaker 3: to Auburn.
- 22:40Speaker 12: And and and my problem with all of this has
- 22:43Speaker 12: been that as the university, I'm willing to let boosters
- 22:49Speaker 12: put us in a position where.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Well, you're not you're not paying the bills, so you
- 22:55Speaker 3: don't really care. You're just profiting for the money. What
- 22:57Speaker 3: the university is.
- 22:59Speaker 12: Well, I'm saying, and as far as the coaches are concerned,
- 23:03Speaker 12: our program never has to live with the decisions we make.
- 23:08Speaker 12: We get these free agents, they don't paying out, Well,
- 23:10Speaker 12: maybe we just have to get them.
- 23:14Speaker 6: Tuned into our culture. But we got enough money. We
- 23:16Speaker 6: can pay you eighty million dollars to leave and pay
- 23:19Speaker 6: somebody else one hundred million dollars to get fired in
- 23:21Speaker 6: the next three years.
- 23:22Speaker 12: So there's never any continuity. There's never any love for
- 23:27Speaker 12: the game, is what I seem to believe is being
- 23:30Speaker 12: lost in all of this. It's we just gambling. We
- 23:33Speaker 12: rolling the dice out here, playing with house money.
- 23:36Speaker 3: Yeah, remember a college coach is used to picking a
- 23:39Speaker 3: player of a different mind. He's not used to dealing
- 23:43Speaker 3: with people that he's paying in this amount, even if
- 23:48Speaker 3: they were cheating. Back in the day, it wasn't that
- 23:53Speaker 3: table you could drive up. This ain't even driving up
- 23:58Speaker 3: in a transi a mobile home behind. Now you got
- 24:01Speaker 3: a mouth piece and heat. The mouthpiece is working, you
- 24:04Speaker 3: gotta pay him and everything else. We'll be back with
- 24:07Speaker 3: more of the Sports Job Show right after this.

- 27:02Speaker 3: You want them up?
- 27:03Speaker 6: The comments on your body, you got it taking it?
- 27:09Speaker 3: Yes, Welcome back to this What Shock Show. I'm this
- 27:13Speaker 3: What Shock Wayne again d Yesterday action in the NFL.
- 27:17Speaker 3: And remember we'll get around to that betting. We're coming
- 27:20Speaker 3: around to Chauncey and Earl Zier and a lot of
- 27:24Speaker 3: other people speaking up talking about the gambling situation, some
- 27:30Speaker 3: illegal poker games. Over thirty people arrested. But we hit
- 27:34Speaker 3: a couple of these NFL notes real quick. Last night,
- 27:39Speaker 3: the Stellers introduced us to Tucker Kraft. Tucker Craft is
- 27:44Speaker 3: the Packers tight end and the Stealers had the privilege
- 27:48Speaker 3: of letting us know that Tucker Craft plays for the
- 27:52Speaker 3: Green Bay Packers because they let him run around the field.
- 27:56Speaker 3: By the end of the game, I knew that Tucker
- 27:57Speaker 3: Craft was from South Dakota. Uh, he went to South
- 28:01Speaker 3: Dakota State. He owns part of a restaurant and bar
- 28:08Speaker 3: in his hometown, which only has about five hundred and
- 28:11Speaker 3: eighty people in it.
- 28:12Speaker 6: Three hours from any other bar and restaurant.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Yes, I found out his mom worked at the hospital.
- 28:19Speaker 3: She's a nurse. And that's how many plays he made
- 28:23Speaker 3: last night. He made so many plays they gave us
- 28:26Speaker 3: a full understanding the Matt Tucker Craft. I didn't know
- 28:30Speaker 3: who Tucker Kraft was before the kickoff. You had never
- 28:34Speaker 3: heard of that town.
- 28:36Speaker 10: Information on standby or do they have like someone investigating
- 28:40Speaker 10: as the game is going eventually somebody they have.
- 28:44Speaker 3: They have both, they have both, they have they have
- 28:48Speaker 3: a little you have some information that producers have already
- 28:52Speaker 3: pulled up. And then you have, you know, a guy
- 28:55Speaker 3: that's sitting there waiting for plays to make and to
- 28:58Speaker 3: keep coming up with interesting facts to hand to the
- 29:02Speaker 3: broadcast team. But thirty five twenty five Jordan Love having
- 29:06Speaker 3: an excellent game. The Stellers actually were playing great football
- 29:11Speaker 3: until halftime. It was sixteen to nine. The offense was
- 29:14Speaker 3: moving and then after the half everything just went away.
- 29:20Speaker 3: So Aaron Rodgers. That ugly traffic sign uniform the Stellers
- 29:25Speaker 3: pulled out from nineteen thirty three I should never be
- 29:29Speaker 3: used again. It just looked like it was directions on.
- 29:32Speaker 10: A yellow street sign as a remix of the other.
- 29:35Speaker 10: And I know this, and I know this bumblebee, the
- 29:38Speaker 10: remix of the bumblebee.
- 29:40Speaker 12: Because I noticed, I felt, I feel, I felt, I
- 29:44Speaker 12: felt so petty.
- 29:47Speaker 6: Sae out loud.
- 29:49Speaker 12: I can't watch this game because these uniforms are getting
- 29:53Speaker 12: on my nerves. The kind of stuff that you would
- 29:57Speaker 12: never focus on in a football game. Is a football peurist.
- 30:01Speaker 12: But I said that with my own words. I'm I'm
- 30:05Speaker 12: struggling to watch this game because these Pittsburgh uniforms are
- 30:08Speaker 12: getting on my nerves.
- 30:10Speaker 11: What is this?
- 30:11Speaker 12: And just you know what, I'll turn something else for
- 30:13Speaker 12: a little while, then go back and check the score.
- 30:15Speaker 12: It was that bad who came up with these. They
- 30:18Speaker 12: actually wore these at some point. They said it was
- 30:20Speaker 12: from nineteen thirty three. Does that make sense, that's.
- 30:27Speaker 6: You're gonna have. They're gonna go buy it. No, that's
- 30:30Speaker 6: what Still lays. They will buy what they know. That's
- 30:33Speaker 6: all they know. They won't only low. No people walking
- 30:38Speaker 6: around with the Bumblebee jersey. You would think, you see,
- 30:41Speaker 6: those people are just new. They never owned the jersey.
- 30:43Speaker 6: The specialists about the Pittsburgh franchise is that their fan
- 30:49Speaker 6: base is so loyal that they are loyal to their time,
- 30:55Speaker 6: meaning that whenever they fell in love with the Stillers,
- 30:59Speaker 6: whoever jersey they bought, until that jersey rots, that's the
- 31:03Speaker 6: jersey they wear.
- 31:05Speaker 11: Right.
- 31:06Speaker 3: When people say they're, you know, one of the franchises
- 31:09Speaker 3: that have the most jerseys in the statey, it's because
- 31:13Speaker 3: Big Kenny gotta mean Joe Green jersey back in eighty two,
- 31:20Speaker 3: and he's gonna always go to the games.
- 31:22Speaker 6: Mean Joe Green.
- 31:23Speaker 3: They don't do. They don't do the new switch. When
- 31:26Speaker 3: I went to the Falcon game yesterday, the Falcon fans
- 31:29Speaker 3: switched to the next group. The Stellers feel like all
- 31:34Speaker 3: their teams exist at once, so somebody they're not really
- 31:42Speaker 3: they're not a sliced up unit. So they see themselves
- 31:46Speaker 3: from Terry Bradshaw to Aaron Rodgers, Well, the season never stopped.
- 31:52Speaker 3: In their mind, It's all one long season to them.
- 31:57Speaker 6: I'm still sitting up there with my Frank o'harris jersey.
- 32:00Speaker 6: I've got my still Oh they're older Falcons players jerseys.
- 32:04Speaker 6: I mean I've still were those. I didn't say you
- 32:06Speaker 6: did not, but I'm saying you said you said Falcon fans.
- 32:10Speaker 6: When when you said, I'm a fan of the Falcons.
- 32:12Speaker 6: So when you said that, I just want to let
- 32:14Speaker 6: you know, as a Falcon fan, I am one of
- 32:17Speaker 6: I'm I'm talking about in the majority. You go to
- 32:23Speaker 6: the stadium, the seven is supposed to belong to Michael
- 32:27Speaker 6: Vick's that is correct, But the seven in the stadium
- 32:33Speaker 6: yesterday belonged to b Jon Robinson. That's not how to Still,
- 32:39Speaker 6: they don't care who the new number thirty six is, right,
- 32:43Speaker 6: thirty six, in their mind belonged to the bus. It
- 32:48Speaker 6: doesn't belong to the They can't retire jerseys in Pittsburgh
- 32:52Speaker 6: because there's too many of them in the Hall of Fame,
- 32:53Speaker 6: so they wouldn't be able to have enough jerseys and so,
- 32:56Speaker 6: but the thirty six belongs to Jerome Before that Leroy
- 33:04Speaker 6: Sell I forgot his name war no before after once
- 33:08Speaker 6: he decided he's see minute it has whatever.
- 33:12Speaker 3: It don't matter who before or after. And I think
- 33:14Speaker 3: a lot of that is well. I felt about the
- 33:17Speaker 3: Cowboys yesterday when they were playing in the game against
- 33:20Speaker 3: Denver and the young man who's having a pretty good season,
- 33:23Speaker 3: I think maybe he's a rookie. He had on thirty three,
- 33:26Speaker 3: and it was like, yeah.
- 33:30Speaker 6: He's been in the league for he used played for
- 33:32Speaker 6: he used to play for Denver, but.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Yeah, okay.
- 33:34Speaker 10: He made a reference that the guys got to meet
- 33:37Speaker 10: Tony dor Set. Yeah, and he said and he said,
- 33:41Speaker 10: make me look good or something like that. Don't don't
- 33:43Speaker 10: uh it, don't make me their case and probably a
- 33:46Speaker 10: lot I know the Raiders do it as well. They
- 33:47Speaker 10: don't exactly retire numbers, but they may take a few
- 33:51Speaker 10: out of circulation, like it's not retired, but you gotta
- 33:57Speaker 10: be worth it to wear this number, like eighty eight
- 33:59Speaker 10: for the Cowboys has carried on for it didn't current players.
- 34:03Speaker 6: Right, and they've made it this thing where whoever's supposed
- 34:06Speaker 6: to be the alpha receiver, where's.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Like we're all connected. That's how they do and That's
- 34:17Speaker 3: why I'm trying to give an example for the Stellers.
- 34:19Speaker 3: They're all their whole thing is that we have never stopped.
- 34:24Speaker 6: I never thought about the Falcons fan base in those
- 34:29Speaker 6: terms until you mentioned it. But Falcons fan base is
- 34:32Speaker 6: predicated on being current. They want to be current. Most
- 34:35Speaker 6: of them are transients. They come here from some other
- 34:38Speaker 6: city and then okay, now the Falcons. So they want
- 34:42Speaker 6: to be repping the newest player's newest jersey each and
- 34:47Speaker 6: every time. They have to the history right, and they're
- 34:51Speaker 6: they're not wrong. It's no right wrong.
- 34:54Speaker 3: He was talking about jersey sales certain places, it doesn't
- 34:57Speaker 3: work as good popular like that. The Lakers, who have
- 35:03Speaker 3: a huge franchise I mean basketball, I mean they are
- 35:07Speaker 3: the darlings up the NBA. But their fan base likes
- 35:10Speaker 3: to be current, right, so they will they will buy
- 35:14Speaker 3: the new whatever colorway you can tell them a colorway
- 35:19Speaker 3: and everything. Lebron James is one of the few players
- 35:22Speaker 3: that actually figured out how to capitalize on that. Yes,
- 35:26Speaker 3: going back and forth with numbers, even when he's at
- 35:29Speaker 3: the same team. Yeh, he'll change the number. Why because
- 35:33Speaker 3: he's gonna push that number in that jersey sale to
- 35:36Speaker 3: get his percentage of that back in his pocket. I've
- 35:40Speaker 3: sold enough twenty three. Yeah, it's like Michael Jordan and Nike.
- 35:46Speaker 3: They rolled back the force. Man, you got them new
- 35:48Speaker 3: fowards coming back. They found the little thing. How we
- 35:52Speaker 3: are like, hey, give them about two three years and
- 35:54Speaker 3: then roll them back. Ye commands, you're gonna need a
- 35:57Speaker 3: new path.
- 35:58Speaker 6: Yeah, fantom three. Now you get a man getting a
- 36:02Speaker 6: three man or he a four man. They got you hooked,
- 36:05Speaker 6: They got me hooked. Then he gonna get a matching
- 36:07Speaker 6: path for it, little boy. Every three they got Jordan three,
- 36:11Speaker 6: they put out, I'll be staring at it.
- 36:13Speaker 11: I really need this shoot.
- 36:16Speaker 6: That three beyrd. You be sitting there and it's like,
- 36:18Speaker 6: well they all came out. Is that olive green? Do
- 36:21Speaker 6: I have any olive green? You know, like a little kid.
- 36:27Speaker 10: But they'll roll it back, And that's all I'm saying.
- 36:29Speaker 10: With the jerseys, Hell with Pittsburgh, there's a little harder
- 36:34Speaker 10: because you're not gonna see this jersey in the state.
- 36:38Speaker 10: They're gonna wear a.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Classic black or white and of the person who they
- 36:43Speaker 3: fell in love with as a stiller, and they hold
- 36:47Speaker 3: on to it.
- 36:49Speaker 6: Ahead bad. You have a great thought on your head,
- 36:51Speaker 6: go ahead and give it to me. Now, I'm just
- 36:53Speaker 6: like what I felt that way about that certain player
- 36:56Speaker 6: wearing twenty one here in Atlanta, and everybody was like,
- 36:59Speaker 6: he didn't need to have on d On that it stops.
- 37:02Speaker 11: With d On.
- 37:03Speaker 6: You know it doesn't.
- 37:04Speaker 3: I didn't say, see, you're you're making it personal. I
- 37:07Speaker 3: just say the number don't change. I said, it becomes
- 37:11Speaker 3: c minute. But Deon, when people see that number, really
- 37:15Speaker 3: you're killing yourself because nobody, everybody's gonna always think when
- 37:18Speaker 3: they see that number, it's d On.
- 37:22Speaker 6: Well if you're gonna we and you're gonna say you will,
- 37:24Speaker 6: I'm in a jersey just like with b Jon.
- 37:26Speaker 3: Jon is rolling the dice because most time you if
- 37:29Speaker 3: you see it from the front and it says seven,
- 37:33Speaker 3: you think Michael Vick until it turns around. Because that's
- 37:38Speaker 3: how I was thinking. Man, they still they ricking the
- 37:40Speaker 3: Mike Vicks. And then I looked at the back. I
- 37:43Speaker 3: have to keep forgetting v Jon. He's number seven. He
- 37:47Speaker 3: is number seven, JJ. He would be better and you know,
- 37:51Speaker 3: making his mark not to have that, but maybe him
- 37:56Speaker 3: and Mike can pass it on like that. It can
- 37:58Speaker 3: be a thing which makes it powerful. Yeah, yeah, like
- 38:01Speaker 3: that which he said, like he's saying with with Michael Irby.
- 38:05Speaker 6: Well, like that's it on like but l s U
- 38:08Speaker 6: does that, you know, number seven whoever, whether the offensive defense,
- 38:12Speaker 6: that's like that's who is the dog and the captain
- 38:15Speaker 6: on the team.
- 38:16Speaker 3: Now, some teams they can do it because they don't
- 38:18Speaker 3: have a lot of Hall of Famers or don't have
- 38:20Speaker 3: any or where they they might have a couple of
- 38:22Speaker 3: jersey retired teams like the Cowboys and the Stillers, they don't.
- 38:27Speaker 3: They can't because there's not enough jersey numbers, and and
- 38:32Speaker 3: pro is different. You have to be especially the O
- 38:36Speaker 3: and D lines have to be with a certain number. College.
- 38:42Speaker 3: You know, in college you let somebody double up sometimes.
- 38:45Speaker 3: But really, yeah, they're not in the field at the
- 38:48Speaker 3: same at the same time. They got two number three
- 38:50Speaker 3: two number three.
- 38:51Speaker 12: Wow.
- 38:53Speaker 3: Well, and they can't switch I don't think they can
- 38:56Speaker 3: even switch sides. I gotta figure out.
- 38:59Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 39:01Speaker 10: And they switch size side. I just know as long
- 39:05Speaker 10: as they're not on the field.
- 39:05Speaker 3: Yeah, no, they can't be on the same time.
- 39:07Speaker 10: I've seen sometimes where a player would put on another jersey, yes,
- 39:13Speaker 10: a different number, and then take that off.
- 39:15Speaker 3: And then go and we're back in the games. We'll

- 42:11Speaker 3: To spoy shock shaan this wortshoka wuen kandee. The Dolphins
- 42:17Speaker 3: came into Atlanta and beat up on the Falcons yesterday
- 42:20Speaker 3: thirty four to ten. Two of back tackle. THEOA having
- 42:24Speaker 3: a big game yesterday, taking advantage of this Atlanta team defensively,
- 42:34Speaker 3: who has been pretty good most of the season, but
- 42:37Speaker 3: yesterday just letting to do too much, too much time,
- 42:41Speaker 3: not enough pressure yesterday on him and lost big were
- 42:47Speaker 3: the Falcons Buffalo forty Carolina nine and that blowout and
- 42:54Speaker 3: then the Ravens coming up big yesterday. Still know Lamar Jackson,
- 43:00Speaker 3: but thirty to sixteen over the Bears. I would imagine
- 43:04Speaker 3: the Bears fell for the okie dope like you sometimes do.
- 43:09Speaker 3: It never goes away. You have to refocus. Somebody tells
- 43:13Speaker 3: you you're playing a team, and then you get the
- 43:16Speaker 3: report that they're one or two big stars are out,
- 43:19Speaker 3: and you stay a little longer at the party, or
- 43:23Speaker 3: you cut time, ice time down, little things like that,
- 43:27Speaker 3: just because you start you start feeling, oh, I don't
- 43:30Speaker 3: need that extra five minutes because Lamar is not going
- 43:32Speaker 3: to be there.
- 43:33Speaker 10: But the starting quarterback was Pro Bowl quarterback Snoop Hontley,
- 43:38Speaker 10: who exactly Okay, probo, hold on, did you say Snoop?
- 43:50Speaker 3: The Patriots beat up on the Browns thirty two to thirteen.
- 43:54Speaker 3: The Patriots and the Colts, I would say, are the
- 43:56Speaker 3: two most surprising teams this season. Rabel I knew Mike,
- 44:02Speaker 3: former teammate of mine, would go up there with that attitude,
- 44:05Speaker 3: but I didn't know he was going to turn around
- 44:07Speaker 3: this quickly. But thirty two to thirteen for them yesterday
- 44:11Speaker 3: over the Browns. The Bucks dismantling the Saints. They're twenty
- 44:19Speaker 3: three to three yesterday as well. The Bucks, as we
- 44:24Speaker 3: talked about last week with Baker Mayfield, they just seemed
- 44:28Speaker 3: to be a true unit. Love the energy, the camaraderie,
- 44:34Speaker 3: the kind of style, and a lot of the winning.
- 44:37Speaker 3: To me, just seems like it's a team like almost
- 44:41Speaker 3: like we're gonna win. We don't care who helps us win,
- 44:45Speaker 3: how we get to win. We're not looking for style points.
- 44:49Speaker 3: We're just looking for a victory in the game. But
- 44:54Speaker 3: Kenny said, we.
- 44:55Speaker 6: Had some.
- 44:57Speaker 12: Loyal online listeners have been with since the top of
- 45:00Speaker 12: the first hour of Sports Jock and over the top
- 45:03Speaker 12: of the hour and like Uncle Charlie asked, do you
- 45:06Speaker 12: think when we were talking about the coaches, is it
- 45:08Speaker 12: that the coaches simply just win.
- 45:10Speaker 6: Or go home?
- 45:12Speaker 12: You get fired. I mean, if you're not winning, we
- 45:14Speaker 12: got to get somebody else. And it seems unfair. But
- 45:17Speaker 12: is that just the landscape we had? Well I can
- 45:20Speaker 12: answer that, Uncle Charlie. Thank you for hitting us up
- 45:24Speaker 12: a good question too, And that's kind of what I
- 45:26Speaker 12: was alluding to. These coaches are having to have an adjustment.
- 45:30Speaker 12: You're talking about guys. Brian Kelly has been around college
- 45:33Speaker 12: for he's sixty four to sixty five years old. This new, nil,
- 45:39Speaker 12: new era of pain is His selling point was, you
- 45:43Speaker 12: can trust me with your son. I'm going to help
- 45:47Speaker 12: him become a productive citizen, a man. Mold him.
- 45:51Speaker 3: I'm not gonna worry about the raising Caine give him
- 45:54Speaker 3: eight hundred thousand dollars. He's going to be coming to
- 45:58Speaker 3: plug into me to try to how figure out how
- 46:00Speaker 3: to be a good person, how to make a career.
- 46:03Speaker 3: Those aren't the thing. So the things I have to
- 46:06Speaker 3: offer along with winning, right, you no longer care about
- 46:11Speaker 3: that part. Now, I got to reprogram myself to understand
- 46:15Speaker 3: all you care about is wins and losses. You don't
- 46:22Speaker 3: care about my graduation rate. You don't care about who
- 46:25Speaker 3: got arrested or any of these kind of things, whether
- 46:28Speaker 3: they become successful people out of you. All you care
- 46:31Speaker 3: about is are we in the Sugar Bowl or are
- 46:35Speaker 3: we in the SEC Championship? And for you, it's like
- 46:38Speaker 3: they say, old dog trying to learn new tricks? What
- 46:41Speaker 3: do you think because of that? I know that else
- 46:44Speaker 3: you won the national championship in twenty nineteen, even when
- 46:47Speaker 3: they fired ed Orgeron. But even after that, there is
- 46:51Speaker 3: this the expectations have changed. It's not about Okay, we
- 46:55Speaker 3: want to win the SEC. We want to win ten
- 46:58Speaker 3: to eleven games like we want to contend for a
- 47:01Speaker 3: national championship every year. And because the expectations changed, that
- 47:06Speaker 3: don't really line up to where they are. Then the
- 47:12Speaker 3: coaches are on a shorter lease. Yes, which all of
- 47:14Speaker 3: that put because I can't use anything other than the
- 47:17Speaker 3: record too, and and and and what comes with pro
- 47:22Speaker 3: bol a lot of times is not just record. The
- 47:26Speaker 3: person that you told me to go pay has to
- 47:29Speaker 3: pay dividend, right right. If you tell me to go
- 47:33Speaker 3: pay somebody one hundred million dollars, not only have.
- 47:37Speaker 6: We got to win.
- 47:38Speaker 3: The guy that we gave one hundred million two got
- 47:41Speaker 3: to be the reason we win. In right, that's what's
- 47:45Speaker 3: that's the framework that's also being passed down. If I
- 47:49Speaker 3: give him one hundred million and he does is not
- 47:51Speaker 3: part of why we are winning, then maybe you don't
- 47:54Speaker 3: know what you're talking about. You can arch Manning. You're
- 47:57Speaker 3: on the hook for that Texas.
- 48:01Speaker 6: Kind of thing.
- 48:01Speaker 12: Yeah, we have, Jared said, Uh, he agreed with me.
- 48:06Speaker 12: He turned off the game because of Pittsburgh uniforms. Elder
- 48:11Speaker 12: Casey said that he was too hurt to talk.
- 48:13Speaker 6: Today, and I laughed and sent back emojis of a
- 48:19Speaker 6: dolphin and yeah funny.
- 48:22Speaker 12: And then when we start talking about the jerseys, he
- 48:25Speaker 12: said he learned a long time ago to buy the
- 48:27Speaker 12: player's number and customize the name on the back of
- 48:31Speaker 12: the jersey.
- 48:32Speaker 6: Uh, that's what Atlanta fans do a lot.
- 48:34Speaker 12: And in response to the uh, he couldn't talk today
- 48:37Speaker 12: and the Dolphins emoji, Uncle Charlie said, it's okay. The
- 48:41Speaker 12: Jets are going to the super Bowl, so it be
- 48:43Speaker 12: your own people that take them shots at you. But
- 48:47Speaker 12: Elder Casey said he uses number seven on about four
- 48:50Speaker 12: of his jerseys, but the names are different on the
- 48:53Speaker 12: back and he uses Casey, Grady, Baby at Alien, and
- 48:58Speaker 12: Ida Pappy.
- 48:59Speaker 6: On four of his jersey. So and on the other
- 49:01Speaker 6: jerseys number seventy one, eighty nine, and twenty one, they're
- 49:04Speaker 6: significant in his birth year, graduation year, and just Casey
- 49:08Speaker 6: for twenty one.
- 49:09Speaker 3: So that's so how is that? I don't understand. How
- 49:13Speaker 3: does that work? As far as supporting the team. It
- 49:15Speaker 3: sounds like Elder Casey is glorifying him.
- 49:18Speaker 6: So if you if you're find jersey, you are still
- 49:22Speaker 6: the team in my team jersey. Well, I'm saying, he
- 49:25Speaker 6: puts his name, Yeah, you can get back, Yeah, you
- 49:27Speaker 6: can get a customized That's what a lot of Falcon
- 49:29Speaker 6: fans do, right.
- 49:30Speaker 3: Yeah, But you're not coming there to cheer for me.
- 49:32Speaker 3: You're celebrating yourself.
- 49:34Speaker 6: No, we go it got Falcon atl on the front.
- 49:37Speaker 6: This what's on the front of the jersey. They always
- 49:40Speaker 6: part of the atla Con waits on the front Jersey Falcons.
- 49:45Speaker 6: That's like, that's like me superimposing myself. I with Elder
- 49:49Speaker 6: case Casey, I as one of the outcast members. But
- 49:52Speaker 6: well no, and I'm saying, go get me a hoodie
- 49:53Speaker 6: and put myself face in the middle, like but who wait,
- 49:58Speaker 6: twity and kind text of what Sports was saying about
- 50:03Speaker 6: what he was saying about the Pittsburgh fans. What he
- 50:05Speaker 6: was saying about the Pittsburgh fans is there is no
- 50:09Speaker 6: new era, whatever era you came in, it's the jersey
- 50:12Speaker 6: you wear. You're making the exact point I to make
- 50:16Speaker 6: about the Falcons fans. They don't care about the team person.
- 50:22Speaker 6: They don't care about that week three per se.
- 50:25Speaker 3: You care about the entertain elder Casey if he if
- 50:31Speaker 3: he got that seven because of Mike Vicky, then it
- 50:35Speaker 3: should have just always been a vict jersey. Well, he
- 50:38Speaker 3: probably does have a victory victory he's there or not.
- 50:43Speaker 3: That's what I was saying about the Steller fan. He
- 50:48Speaker 3: doesn't get a frank O Harris jersey and then put
- 50:52Speaker 3: Williams on it. He keeps it as Franko Harris.
- 51:02Speaker 6: Hey we do it. We do it different than the
- 51:04Speaker 6: Falcon fans. I appreciate. Hey, hey jotspired, we'll be back.
- 51:15Speaker 25: Job.
- 51:15Speaker 6: He used to work for us. We let him give it.
- 51:17Speaker 8: He was.

- 51:49Speaker 26: two milligrams, about the size of a few grains of sand,

- 52:37Speaker 3: And now back to the sports Gibt, Wayne Gandy.
- 52:42Speaker 5: Center cord on sports news, gossip, blah blah blah blah.
- 52:49Speaker 11: Blah blah, traffic for fun. I see was the struggles.
- 53:05Speaker 3: Welcome back to this one shock show. I'm this what
- 53:07Speaker 3: shock winn Gnnigo. Morning to you out there and listening Land.
- 53:10Speaker 3: I hope you had your teams won. A lot of
- 53:13Speaker 3: our teams lost over the weekend. All of our teams
- 53:20Speaker 3: lost somebody else. Some of us come up with a
- 53:23Speaker 3: miracle win yesterday, just a good, you know, feel good
- 53:30Speaker 3: win or you know, because you can you know, most times,
- 53:33Speaker 3: as you see, you can't lose all of them.
- 53:35Speaker 6: Moral victory.
- 53:36Speaker 8: You know.
- 53:36Speaker 3: It's just something for the Jets to feel like they're
- 53:40Speaker 3: a part of the conversation, at least for a week.
- 53:43Speaker 3: An emotional justin Fields. Yeah, the wood what was the
- 53:48Speaker 3: owner for the Jets, Johnson? Woody Johnson called out his quarterback.
- 53:51Speaker 3: Seemed like you responded, huh is that what it took?
- 53:56Speaker 11: Oh?
- 53:56Speaker 3: You could just raise your hand, let everybody know you
- 53:58Speaker 3: just a backup quarterback. Oh and then wrong with that?
- 54:03Speaker 3: I told you I'm pulling for you. I think a
- 54:05Speaker 3: good Geno Smith type approach would work good for justin fields.
- 54:13Speaker 3: Get behind. Somebody said about two years learn, kind of
- 54:17Speaker 3: settle down, clear your head. I'm pulling down because there's
- 54:21Speaker 3: an aspect of his game that still has not rounded out.
- 54:27Speaker 6: Now, I wanted to ask you, I'm glad you said that.
- 54:29Speaker 3: He doesn't have a He doesn't right now has the
- 54:31Speaker 3: processing power of what it takes to be an NFL quarterback.
- 54:35Speaker 3: Is it something he can train and learn? Sure, but
- 54:38Speaker 3: there's that is a part of his game to me
- 54:41Speaker 3: that is still in flux.
- 54:44Speaker 12: Uh.
- 54:44Speaker 6: And I know that there are levels.
- 54:46Speaker 12: But when we look at the college coach landscape and
- 54:51Speaker 12: how if they're not winning there, you said, maybe they
- 54:55Speaker 12: should have some sort of grace period. These athletes that
- 54:58Speaker 12: are coming to these progra be it college or pro
- 55:02Speaker 12: level are asked to be inserted into these programs on
- 55:08Speaker 12: whatever side of the ball they own and produce. Again,
- 55:11Speaker 12: they gotta pay dividends. So if I'm asking that of
- 55:15Speaker 12: this dude who just now getting to the game ojerrand
- 55:19Speaker 12: been around for thirty years, how come he can't.
- 55:23Speaker 6: Adjust on the fly too?
- 55:25Speaker 12: Or this guy Kelly's been around or whoever, else has
- 55:28Speaker 12: gotten fired. We feel sometimes like that's unfair, and I
- 55:31Speaker 12: do too, like y'all should have gave them more adjustment.
- 55:34Speaker 12: But these people are thinking. You in the business every day.
- 55:37Speaker 12: This is real time business, and sometimes you got to
- 55:42Speaker 12: adjust on the fly. Just like when I put that
- 55:44Speaker 12: quarterback in there. If he ain't doing what I think
- 55:46Speaker 12: he ought to be doing, somebody's.
- 55:48Speaker 3: On the hook for that.
- 55:51Speaker 6: Okay, I didn't get the question. Should we be giving
- 55:55Speaker 6: coaches more leeway than they give the athletes. The athletes
- 55:59Speaker 6: are expected to go from college to pro and immediately
- 56:01Speaker 6: start to produce. From high school to college and immediately
- 56:04Speaker 6: start to produce. You're a coach, no matter who comes
- 56:08Speaker 6: to you, coach a winner. If you can't get somebody
- 56:11Speaker 6: to coach a.
- 56:11Speaker 3: Winner, well, I said, the situation went to college because
- 56:16Speaker 3: of how much money you're paying someone to leave And
- 56:20Speaker 3: is it always a situation where it's the coach And
- 56:24Speaker 3: some of these coaches just needed a period. I just
- 56:28Speaker 3: think it's ridiculous that you think that you can pay
- 56:32Speaker 3: a man fifty million dollars to lead.
- 56:35Speaker 6: Yeah, that is stupid.
- 56:36Speaker 10: It's going to be less less time for college coaches
- 56:40Speaker 10: because now more money is legitimately.
- 56:45Speaker 3: But now what you what you open the door for
- 56:47Speaker 3: is a lot of pro coaches. We would just go
- 56:49Speaker 3: to college. Yes, that's what that's what's gonna Eventually you're
- 56:53Speaker 3: gonna sit on the You're gonna see it in basketball,
- 56:55Speaker 3: you're gonna see it in all sports. That coaching is
- 56:59Speaker 3: just going to become one big pot. Now it's not
- 57:02Speaker 3: going to be because you're operating the same way mercenary.
- 57:06Speaker 3: Can I say this, if you deal with a free
- 57:08Speaker 3: agent mercenary recruiting high school, a.
- 57:12Speaker 6: Couple of Dion Sanders type coaches, guys with that type
- 57:15Speaker 6: of mentality that don't just bring them in, bring them out.
- 57:19Speaker 6: I need you this. They understand what happened, what happened
- 57:22Speaker 6: to Oh it's still here. We just haven't heard anybody.
- 57:29Speaker 6: Let me say this.
- 57:29Speaker 12: Let me you know, been under the weather. No, no, no, no,
- 57:33Speaker 12: it used to be. They talked about Prime like he
- 57:36Speaker 12: was winning. Even when he lost this past weekend, he
- 57:41Speaker 12: got blowed out, he got whooped like he got whooped
- 57:47Speaker 12: like a bad child, and nobody said anything.
- 57:51Speaker 6: He got public service announcement. You could tell him.
- 57:56Speaker 12: Somebody else's house with they white sound like he got
- 57:59Speaker 12: whooped whooped and nobody said anything about it.
- 58:04Speaker 6: Well, actually it was forty three nothing at halftime. What's
- 58:11Speaker 6: the where's the hype in fifty three to seven?
- 58:14Speaker 12: Where's the hype? How am I hypen at fifty three
- 58:17Speaker 12: to seven? Forty three to zero at halftime? Now, this
- 58:23Speaker 12: was the program where just last season they retired the
- 58:29Speaker 12: number of a quarterback who has gotten lost his first
- 58:34Speaker 12: year in the NFL.
- 58:36Speaker 6: I'm not done. I'm not done quarters that quarterback. What
- 58:42Speaker 6: happened to Dion Mania?
- 58:44Speaker 12: Because you, who were the quarter back key supporter of
- 58:49Speaker 12: Dion Mania mentions him no more. You don't talk about
- 58:54Speaker 12: him and his program any more. I haven't seen you
- 58:58Speaker 12: in a Colorado Buffalo anything any more.
- 59:02Speaker 6: I haven't heard you man's name.
- 59:05Speaker 3: I haven't had a friend that hit me up from
- 59:08Speaker 3: the Colorado the last two years. Somebody they were in Colorado.
- 59:12Speaker 3: Everybody was in Colorado. No, nobody's in Colorado anymore.
- 59:20Speaker 15: You know.
- 59:21Speaker 3: That's all I'm saying.
- 59:22Speaker 20: It was.
- 59:23Speaker 6: It was, it was a flash in the pan time.
- 59:27Speaker 6: It was knowing it leads to it was a moment
- 59:32Speaker 6: we knew this was coming. Guys are gonna get these
- 59:35Speaker 6: coaching opportunities as sports jocks was saying, it's gonna it's
- 59:38Speaker 6: about to open up and it's gonna be It's Dion
- 59:40Speaker 6: was the base Dion's performance sports jocks should pick a
- 59:46Speaker 6: lottery numbers. He said, he's going to go to a
- 59:49Speaker 6: school based on his having gotten his degree online. He
- 59:53Speaker 6: gonna go to a school that don't require him to
- 59:55Speaker 6: have the credentials of coaching. It's gonna probably be an
- 59:59Speaker 6: HBCU and Jackson State picked him up.
- 1:00:01Speaker 12: He said they think he gonna be there for a
- 1:00:03Speaker 12: long time. He gonna win just enough games that a
- 1:00:05Speaker 12: bigger program. He hopes FSU will come and get him
- 1:00:09Speaker 12: Colorado big first. And then he said, as soon as
- 1:00:12Speaker 12: your door and Travis Hunter are gone, Dion Sanders will
- 1:00:16Speaker 12: be a has been story. And I want to know
- 1:00:20Speaker 12: what the pick five is for seven pm this evening
- 1:00:23Speaker 12: because it played out just like that.
- 1:00:27Speaker 11: Man.
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: You sound like you just like I heard.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: He's about he gotta win three of the last four
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: to even be bol eligibly.
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: I heard what that Dionna is failing. Yeah, you sound
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: like you. You happy that he's feeling. No, I'm saying
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: you that you ain't no more. You not hyper no mo.
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: That's my point, my good friends in Mississippi.
- 1:00:51Speaker 21: Shame was so insanely brain that you can't mintion my
- 1:00:56Speaker 21: sit and that you mention.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: My name, John Boy.

- 1:01:16Speaker 7: But the funny thing is most of us won't look

- 1:02:01Speaker 12: Yeah?

- 1:02:08Speaker 12: It's just.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: I'm gonna do it.
- 1:02:14Speaker 9: Bad.
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna go on.
- 1:02:15Speaker 20: The way you.
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: Welcome back to the Sports Shock Show. I'm the Sports
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: Shock Wayne Gandy. Good morning to you. I thought I
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: was gonna uh fade, but y'all gonna woke me up
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: even more. This morning.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: I was on UH and if you get a chance,
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: go to the Pittsburgh Steelers locked on Swatch shoe. Uh.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: We do it on Wednesday nights. We do it right
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: after the game. We were up about one o'clock doing
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: the post show last night. But you guys got me
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: in here energized today. If you feel I feel the energy.
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: If you need a nice sports shock, imagine, because you
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: didn't say anything, I gotta go to you before we
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: go to UH. Some of the online chatter what happened
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: to the prime time mainly, I.
- 1:03:00Speaker 10: Think part of it is realize what Colorado is not. Okay,
- 1:03:07Speaker 10: let me rephrase this.
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: The expectations. I think everyone's like coming.
- 1:03:12Speaker 10: Down off the expectations they're expecting, like, oh, he's gonna
- 1:03:15Speaker 10: win a national championship with with his son at quarterback,
- 1:03:19Speaker 10: or they're going to change the change the dynamic of
- 1:03:24Speaker 10: black coaches and that, and neither of those things happened.
- 1:03:27Speaker 6: No, I'm saying that at this you know, the expectations even.
- 1:03:32Speaker 10: When they were there were so unrealistic, and now people
- 1:03:36Speaker 10: are coming back down to Okay, this is what kind
- 1:03:39Speaker 10: of program Colorado is actually going to be. And and
- 1:03:44Speaker 10: Dion Sanders can only do so much as a coach
- 1:03:50Speaker 10: that it's not worth really paying attention to right now,
- 1:03:55Speaker 10: because I mean, they're not they're not good. We'll see,
- 1:03:57Speaker 10: like maybe if he puts Juju in Uh at quarterback there,
- 1:04:02Speaker 10: we'll see. We'll see where that see where see where
- 1:04:04Speaker 10: they are then, But they're like their best hope is
- 1:04:08Speaker 10: just to like make bowl games, win seven to nine
- 1:04:11Speaker 10: games a year, make a bowl and then maybe every
- 1:04:16Speaker 10: only every few years in the history of their program
- 1:04:19Speaker 10: have they contended for a national championship or even a
- 1:04:21Speaker 10: conference championship. So I think people had unrealistic expectations from
- 1:04:26Speaker 10: the very beginning.
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: This is bad. This is probably the worst beating I've
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: ever had except when my mama whooped me as a kid.
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: Sanders said, Now, the thing about it, I think, like
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: you said, the hype mc kenny, COMANCHI, Greg Badby, Doc,
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: we're all in the studio today. Good morning to you
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: out there. The one thing was that nobody ever because
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: it's Dionne I love Prime, fan favorite. I think he
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: lived up to everything that he ever wanted to do,
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: But no, no one actually ever approached the notion Prime
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: took Division one talent players and went and ran rough, shot.
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: Over and you ain't everybody excused it because you ain't swacked.
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: He went and took a whole bunch of He basically
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: took the Colorado team last year down and played Jackson
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: at Jackson State and played teams that was inferior to him.
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: It's like Jackson State going to play Georgia right now,
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: the difference in talent would beam across the you know. Yes,
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: and we gave him a lot of credit for winning
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: with the superior team. Now he went to what is
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: even competition and he can't seem to get it wins.
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: Now he has to try to piece it together. He's
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: one in four right now, we're looking I looked at
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: the rest of the schedule. I don't see him winning
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: three of the last four, so that means he's gonna
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: miss the bowl game. He went two of them three
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: I don't know so, but no one seems to be
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: able to have you know, his whole fan base has
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: decided they got reasons why. Okay, one that.
- 1:06:34Speaker 12: His whole fan base he didn't has reasons why. When
- 1:06:36Speaker 12: Keith Keith Ramsey, my Southern Miss alumni, my brother says,
- 1:06:42Speaker 12: well think about it when it comes to coach Prime.
- 1:06:45Speaker 12: At this point, more people are concerned about his health. Fact,
- 1:06:49Speaker 12: he is one of no wait, he is one of
- 1:06:53Speaker 12: the coaches that are few and far between that will discuss.
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: His health challenge. Facts.
- 1:06:58Speaker 12: If you recall in the day, most of the coaches
- 1:07:02Speaker 12: were just abruptly resigned to the health reasons. However, Irvin Meyer,
- 1:07:08Speaker 12: he is bringing his health challenge to the front because
- 1:07:11Speaker 12: there are men his age. They are a man that
- 1:07:16Speaker 12: looked like him who have put their health care on
- 1:07:19Speaker 12: the back burner for whatever reason. And I would say
- 1:07:22Speaker 12: to Keith, the hell that got to do with forty
- 1:07:25Speaker 12: three and zero at halftime? Why are we talking about
- 1:07:30Speaker 12: Dion's health like it is the reason his team can't
- 1:07:33Speaker 12: play on the field. When none of that mattered when
- 1:07:36Speaker 12: he had Travis and Shadur at the team, none of
- 1:07:40Speaker 12: that mattered. He had health problems since before he ever
- 1:07:43Speaker 12: went into college coaching, and when he went to Jackson
- 1:07:46Speaker 12: State All they said was win. When he first got
- 1:07:49Speaker 12: to Colorado and he was winning, all they cared about.
- 1:07:52Speaker 12: They didn't want to bring up his health stuff. Now
- 1:07:54Speaker 12: that he's losing, it's well, at least he's being a
- 1:07:57Speaker 12: good role model.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: For the man.
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: Look what we're gonna do. We're gonna play football or
- 1:08:02Speaker 6: we gonna be the people's champ. What are we gonna do?
- 1:08:06Speaker 6: Stop all of that? One thing this day and another
- 1:08:10Speaker 6: thing the next day. It's coaches that leave because they
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: got health problems all the time. They organizations don't care
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: about that. They need somebody who can carry the weight,
- 1:08:19Speaker 6: who can do the job. This is why we just
- 1:08:22Speaker 6: say the team's just not good. Team's not good.
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: Well, the thing about and I think Prime is perfect
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: for this time an era as far as the recruiting component, Wow,
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: the big thing about him is that you can't bring
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: too many of Dione type mentality players. You need a
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: couple of those guys, but you can't have a team
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: of them. And when I watch his team, everybody on
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: his team see was like a diva. You need some
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: grunt worker, you need some blue collar guys. His old lineman,
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: they think they diva. The d lineman they think he
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: didn't have any grinders.
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: Elder Casey said.
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: You need grinders along with your three or four Prime
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: Time type players, right, you need some of that. And
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: he recruits the guys because that's what he greenlighted. Come
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: out here, get notoriety. We're gonna have a post game
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: in the locker room concert with Lil Wayne and Glorilla.
- 1:09:36Speaker 3: Like he brought those. He didn't bring guys who really
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: still just want to play football. He bought all the
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: guys that.
- 1:09:43Speaker 12: Want shine online listeners. Elder Casey said it was a
- 1:09:47Speaker 12: one night stand. Y'all tried to turn a I'm paraphrasing
- 1:09:51Speaker 12: garden to into a housewife. And then Uncle Charlie said
- 1:09:55Speaker 12: Prime Time shut down tight as the US government nobody
- 1:09:58Speaker 12: talking about it.
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: So a lot of people are feeling that it was
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: a publicity stunt that was brilliant in its execution and
- 1:10:09Speaker 6: it worked completely like it was supposed to. But now
- 1:10:13Speaker 6: the era is changing and we've got.
- 1:10:16Speaker 12: To see something more than what you've been giving us
- 1:10:19Speaker 12: to make us stay on this train, and it hasn't
- 1:10:22Speaker 12: shown up yet.
- 1:10:24Speaker 6: People are gonna start leaving the platform soon. But everybody
- 1:10:27Speaker 6: has in Alabama because they wanted to get a ring.
- 1:10:29Speaker 6: It was the way they get. I mean, it's it's
- 1:10:31Speaker 6: it's different reasons. You know, don't even come that's not
- 1:10:38Speaker 6: even a comparison. I'm just.
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: It's not even a comparison. And nobody's even actually sitting
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: here telling you that is a bad coach. That's what
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: it sounds like. We're saying that you had him to
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: That's what it sounds like. You're trying to figure out
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: why you don't have.
- 1:10:54Speaker 6: The same energy as talking about Colorado this season. I mean,
- 1:11:00Speaker 6: I mean, it's a lot of things going on with
- 1:11:03Speaker 6: Prime and like I said, you just the health issues
- 1:11:06Speaker 6: are not where they're losing, and the hating the the
- 1:11:11Speaker 6: is not white. And for me, I was never on
- 1:11:16Speaker 6: his team to champion him that way. Last season, if
- 1:11:21Speaker 6: we did twelve shows, you wore Colorado paraphernalia four or
- 1:11:27Speaker 6: five of those shows, and I haven't even heard you
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: mentioned them this season. I'm glad. I'm glad I had
- 1:11:34Speaker 6: some help. Come on. R J Twitty just thread what
- 1:11:37Speaker 6: he said. That's what I feel like. Coaches don't make plays.
- 1:11:39Speaker 6: It's obvious his talent pool is bottom feeders, average team
- 1:11:45Speaker 6: and see and that's what I'm saying, everybody.
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: Trying to recruit the best got some best players in
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: the transfer portal. He took three guys from the University
- 1:11:56Speaker 3: of Tennessee Secondary. That's not true. I just told you
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: what the issue I watched the game. He has too
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: many divas. You can't have too many divas. Where is
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: the grinders? I told you last year, when is the
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: offensive line gonna help your door off the ground? Divas
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: don't help them. Guys don't care about it. They came
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: there for the popularity and the spotlight, did they? People?
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: He said Alabama Nick Saban didn't offer players the spotlight.
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: You don't remember guys from Alabama even doing interviews. Name
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: me a popular guy from Alabama in the last twenty
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: years that you remember doing some kind of interview.
- 1:12:49Speaker 6: And they all went first pick of the draft outside
- 1:12:53Speaker 6: of like mark ing right after the game and them
- 1:12:56Speaker 6: like saying something of note.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: And they've been getting paid, been getting paid before.
- 1:13:03Speaker 24: N hell.
- 1:13:04Speaker 12: I mean they was getting paid when I was in
- 1:13:06Speaker 12: college driving porsches in your people looking the other way
- 1:13:11Speaker 12: hands out those horses.
- 1:13:15Speaker 10: They leased them, maybe for like three dollars a month,
- 1:13:18Speaker 10: but they leased those coorses.
- 1:13:20Speaker 12: Where you earned the three dollars from. You ain't even
- 1:13:22Speaker 12: got no job where you get three dollars from?
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: Don't they get it like a stipend? Now the handshake,
- 1:13:28Speaker 6: Oh ye, three three dollars handship. That's a legal though. No,
- 1:13:31Speaker 6: I got three dollars, But it's a card ninety seven
- 1:13:33Speaker 6: for the game. That makes sense if you've been asking
- 1:13:36Speaker 6: for more to sports show right after this.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: John't by Wayne Born of the Sports It's Josh Show
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: with Wayne Dan. Videos coming up next.

- 1:16:41Speaker 3: and tomorrow. Hillary Clinton is seventy eight years old. Keith
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: Urban is fifty eight, Seth McFarlane is fifty two. Phagor
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: Parks is fifty two as well. Dylan McDermott is sixty four.
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: Rida Wilson is sixty nine. Say Jack, I actually thought
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: Pat it went on to glory is seventy nine years old.
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: Tired fortune, Yeah, yeah, I remember that part. And Tonyo Pierce,
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: former Raiders head coach forty seven. Lonzo Ball. Good to
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: see Lonzo Ball playing the other night I think he
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: was with the Calves. Good to see you out there,
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: young man, I mean you did thretty well. He's having
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: that career that the young man from the Clippers kind
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: of went through, just injury injury, finally won a championship
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: I think with Golden State. Later in living John Livingston.
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: But Lonzo Ball, you know, get all that. Just to
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: see your perseverance man has really been impressive to steal
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: get out there and try at twenty eight years old.
- 1:17:51Speaker 3: Kelly Osbourne forty one, Lemon Pepper, lu Luke Williams thirty
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: nine years old, Mariah the Scientist. This is twenty eight.
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: Marlon Maypoles is sixty two. Former first Uh no he
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: wasn't the first, lady, but former wife of President Trump, right,
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: a man at number two, wife number two, Yeah, sixty
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: two years old. Zab Judah, remember Zab the boxer. He's
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: forty eight. Stetson Bennett. Where is Stetson now? He is
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: backup for the Rams? Is he the backup or the third?
- 1:18:26Speaker 6: It's third? Was the backup?
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: Okay, Stetson Bennett, but he was. He's one of those
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: guys like when I be saying she would just lift
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: the age limit for college. If we want the best sport, right,
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: it should be the guys that just couldn't make the
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: NFL make up college sports. If we're gonna pay him,
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: if you're gonna pay him now? Is this my mindset?
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: Twenty eight years old? TREYLL Davis? What's up with your TD?
- 1:18:52Speaker 6: The Hall of Famer?
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: Fifty three Steve Atwater Bronco as well, fifty nine two tons?
- 1:18:57Speaker 6: What's up too? He is third?
- 1:18:59Speaker 3: He's the third back right two ten, and think about it,
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: he could actually go back, go back to Georgia play
- 1:19:06Speaker 3: make the same amount of money.
- 1:19:08Speaker 6: That's the third.
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: Quarterback, might make more, might make more. He can make
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: about two million dollars at Georgia a year. He probably
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: making right at one for the Rams. I'm just saying,
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: if y'all just won't good football while were playing this
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: whole guys got seven eight years anyway, it's twenty five year.
- 1:19:28Speaker 12: Olds anyway, what's happening with college baskets? He was running
- 1:19:32Speaker 12: and gunning when he was up there at Georgia. Two
- 1:19:35Speaker 12: ton raised. My boy is forty eight. They Alma Hopkins
- 1:19:39Speaker 12: is seventy seven. The owner or part owner or half
- 1:19:43Speaker 12: owner of the Hawks. Jamie Gertz is sixty years old.
- 1:19:47Speaker 12: He might remember from Twister. She was also an actress
- 1:19:51Speaker 12: Hot Lost Boys, Lost Boys. She's big in the eighties,
- 1:19:54Speaker 12: was miss Gertz. She's sixty. Frank Ocean is thirty eight.
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: Matt Smith I'm Dancing Dance with Dragons is forty three,
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: Brad Pacey fifty three and he pots still acting seventy
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: three years old. Jaquin Phoenix is fifty one, Caitlin Jeneral
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: seventy six, Julia Roberts is fifty eight, and William So
- 1:20:20Speaker 3: I'm calling Bill, Uh call him billionaire? Gates is seventy.
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: What do you think Bill doing for his seventieth Not
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: in Hell? It he's taking in Hell at seventy and
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: a billion dollars.
- 1:20:37Speaker 11: You can get there.
- 1:20:37Speaker 12: In Hell, we don't take drug tests. Oh yeah, well, okay,
- 1:20:41Speaker 12: Well he just being open about it. Now he's gonna
- 1:20:42Speaker 12: do a podcast like he's from the seventies. Yeah, he
- 1:20:50Speaker 12: was twenty two in the seventies, so that means he
- 1:20:52Speaker 12: has a I think he bought a new shirt, got
- 1:20:54Speaker 12: him a new shirt. He looked like he's bored with money.
- 1:20:57Speaker 12: All of them look like they have literally lost its luster.
- 1:21:02Speaker 6: Well and it does what.
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: In my mind when I imagine them, it loses their luster.
- 1:21:09Speaker 12: Well, this is the thing I imagine for a lot
- 1:21:11Speaker 12: of people who don't have millions and billions of dollars.
- 1:21:15Speaker 12: They imagine all of the things that they'll be able
- 1:21:18Speaker 12: to do and all of the new excitement that that
- 1:21:20Speaker 12: money will bring them, and then they get the money
- 1:21:23Speaker 12: and realize, I really don't want to run with bulls
- 1:21:27Speaker 12: down the street.
- 1:21:27Speaker 6: I ain't never wanted to do that.
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: But all my good friends at work, and I'm out
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: here calling them, Man, what you doing man on the yacht?
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: Yeah, but I got a yeah, I hit you back
- 1:21:37Speaker 6: in a minute, Bro, I got my grand kids send up.
- 1:21:41Speaker 10: I ain't got I ain't got time. And so I
- 1:21:43Speaker 10: got we got the yacht, I got the helicopters all.
- 1:21:46Speaker 10: I got everything to get us all together. But y'all
- 1:21:48Speaker 10: talking about y'all got a recital the yeah you got
- 1:21:51Speaker 10: the and it happened. My grand daughter got a volleyball
- 1:21:53Speaker 10: game at three. At three, I'm saying, we're gonna go
- 1:21:56Speaker 10: lasting and get on the boat though, And I'm saying
- 1:21:58Speaker 10: I got that.
- 1:21:59Speaker 11: Ooh, ooh ooh.
- 1:22:00Speaker 6: They just dropped it off.
- 1:22:02Speaker 12: And I got enough for everybody, and he's like, yeah,
- 1:22:04Speaker 12: but the recitals at six and it's four thirty. I'd
- 1:22:08Speaker 12: never make it back in time. And you think you
- 1:22:10Speaker 12: do that next week, Well, you know I do it
- 1:22:12Speaker 12: next week either, Yeah, because that's the anniversary my parents anniversaries. Actually,
- 1:22:18Speaker 12: it gets like that.
- 1:22:19Speaker 10: It seems like he's just like you're saying, Greg, It's
- 1:22:22Speaker 10: like he would get why what am I about a yacht?
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: This is ten feet longer. I wasn't using the one
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: that was thirty feet shorter. And then that's the other
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: part about having the money. And that's how even when
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: you watch Jay Bezos, I think some of even why
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: he kind of changed his probably friend group, maybe even
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: in the divorce. I've never been married, but imagine that
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: he just needed new energy and new people around. Yeah,
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: that got complicated lives, and you don't.
- 1:22:54Speaker 12: You don't realize how much you're not gonna use a
- 1:22:56Speaker 12: thirty foot yacht until you get one. You be thinking like, boy,
- 1:23:01Speaker 12: I'll be out on that yacht every day, and then
- 1:23:03Speaker 12: you be thinking like, man, I ain't been on it
- 1:23:04Speaker 12: yat since twenty seventeen.
- 1:23:06Speaker 6: Like, bro, it's been a long time, not doing anything interesting,
- 1:23:09Speaker 6: anything interesting. So I got to go find interesting people
- 1:23:11Speaker 6: to be around, to start being around. I'm not doing
- 1:23:14Speaker 6: anything interesting, but seventy years old, William Bill Gates and
- 1:23:19Speaker 6: Big Kenning. You laugh sound like somebody must have said
- 1:23:21Speaker 6: something to the baby Juice online.
- 1:23:23Speaker 12: Uncle Charlie said you lost BP. We don't want you
- 1:23:26Speaker 12: to get dumped in the ocean again.

- 1:24:17Speaker 28: listen to music different. But you probably knew that. The
- 1:24:21Speaker 28: problem is you also drive different, and not in a
- 1:24:24Speaker 28: good way. That's why driving high is illegal everywhere. So
- 1:24:29Speaker 28: if you're high, just don't drive. Make a plan to
- 1:24:32Speaker 28: get a sober ride because if you feel different, you

- 1:25:16Speaker 3: a book club, a salsa club. Finding new hobbies comes
- 1:25:20Speaker 3: with age.
- 1:25:21Speaker 6: My mom has started getting lost and not knowing where

- 1:25:51Speaker 5: I've been given full access to the player's lounge on
- 1:25:54Speaker 5: the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:26:03Speaker 6: Yeah, it's the ground talking about when I stopped the
- 1:26:06Speaker 6: ground like I said, what back the ground the teams crashed.
- 1:26:10Speaker 12: Off the trains, don't.
- 1:26:11Speaker 6: He's paying out there, but when out need there, he's
- 1:26:13Speaker 6: gonna be out no name, brother man brains.
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: So that we see something.
- 1:26:17Speaker 3: Welcome back to the Sports Shock Show. I'm the Sports
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: Shock Quayne again. Yeah. I see article say Trey Young
- 1:26:23Speaker 3: is ready to silence his haters. Uh, Trey, I don't
- 1:26:26Speaker 3: know what people are haters. They just you know, a
- 1:26:30Speaker 3: lot of times superstar players. Because my only critique people,
- 1:26:35Speaker 3: I don't. I wouldn't say my critique is a hater
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: on you. It's most of that. It's hard for people
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: to see the best player sometimes not be the part
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: the glue to the team. It's not that you're not
- 1:26:49Speaker 3: doing your job, it's just that the missing part of
- 1:26:53Speaker 3: you kind of being or seen as the glue is
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: what people feel like. It's the thing that's not getting
- 1:27:00Speaker 3: the team over the hump. You're not having that impact
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: of where the team uh that you're not having that
- 1:27:08Speaker 3: magic Johnson kind of effect.
- 1:27:12Speaker 12: You're too busy being tray and not busy enough leading
- 1:27:17Speaker 12: the Hawks. Like everybody's waiting for you to give them
- 1:27:21Speaker 12: the marching orders, and you just kind of worried about
- 1:27:24Speaker 12: your outfit. You know, it's kind of how he seems
- 1:27:28Speaker 12: to be out on the court.
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: He's a younger Kevin Durrant. It's just that Kevin Durant
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: has produced, owns, owns his I've always felt like KD
- 1:27:40Speaker 3: owns that. Yeah, I am a higher gun, baby I
- 1:27:44Speaker 3: got I'm Billy the kid. Yeah, yeah, you're quicker than me.
- 1:27:49Speaker 3: I'm high noon. Who y'all want me to kill.
- 1:27:52Speaker 6: Ten paces and let's go, Yeah, ten paces and write
- 1:27:55Speaker 6: a letter to your family? You know what I mean? Oh,
- 1:27:57Speaker 6: you want me to get the the who the remts going?
- 1:28:00Speaker 6: I don't.
- 1:28:01Speaker 3: I don't do stuff like that. I'm not part of
- 1:28:03Speaker 3: a PASSI now. I'm a true assassin. I only come
- 1:28:06Speaker 3: to assassin. I don't do teamwork.
- 1:28:07Speaker 6: Yeah we don't know.
- 1:28:08Speaker 3: But I'm John Wick.
- 1:28:10Speaker 6: Yeah I don't. I don't have friends. And Katie owns
- 1:28:17Speaker 6: his trade kind of teeters think he's okay guy.
- 1:28:23Speaker 10: He wants to be. He wants you to think he's
- 1:28:25Speaker 10: your friend. That's what I Trade's an assassin. And that's
- 1:28:28Speaker 10: why I keep telling the Hall. They just have to
- 1:28:30Speaker 10: hopefully find somebody that can be that part we're talking about.
- 1:28:36Speaker 10: So Tray can just be the assassin that he is.
- 1:28:39Speaker 10: He's just that assassin type with when Durrant had Russell
- 1:28:43Speaker 10: Westbrook in Oklahoma City. It's more of like when Katie
- 1:28:49Speaker 10: went to Golden State. I mean, yeah, they didn't. They
- 1:28:57Speaker 10: just needed an assassin. They didn't need Draymond and Steph.
- 1:29:00Speaker 10: They got all that, all the other rolling and curse
- 1:29:04Speaker 10: so and so out for being laid and I ain't
- 1:29:07Speaker 10: gotta have no team.
- 1:29:08Speaker 3: I'm I came here to give you the thirty two.
- 1:29:10Speaker 12: Baby's I know that's what you gave me, thirty two.
- 1:29:13Speaker 12: I just need I just need the thirty two bullets
- 1:29:17Speaker 12: to hit something. That's all I need. You come here
- 1:29:19Speaker 12: and shoot stuff with your thirty two.
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: Because I didn't bring all my bags. I just I
- 1:29:24Speaker 6: just buy clothes daily. That's like you can see the
- 1:29:30Speaker 6: train dressing myself out of the train. When you can
- 1:29:33Speaker 6: see that, he's uh, probably just going up. Through the years,
- 1:29:36Speaker 6: he's always been just like I had to prove myself
- 1:29:39Speaker 6: because I'm a little guy. I'm gonna score, I'm gonna
- 1:29:42Speaker 6: do this. Never been looked upon as the leader of
- 1:29:44Speaker 6: the team. It's always the big person. Now you got
- 1:29:47Speaker 6: drafted first, top two.
- 1:29:49Speaker 3: And the and the Hawks didn't have a player here
- 1:29:52Speaker 3: already to give him that. It's even Lebron, Yes, Lebron.
- 1:29:58Speaker 3: You know we try to critical size and but his
- 1:30:03Speaker 3: year is in Cleveland at first, before he went to Miami,
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: he hadn't been around or they was asking him to
- 1:30:09Speaker 3: set a tempo in a leadership role that you didn't
- 1:30:12Speaker 3: have nobody on.
- 1:30:13Speaker 6: The team to tell me how to be a leader
- 1:30:14Speaker 6: and tray into into into the thing. He was only
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: twenty years old himself.
- 1:30:19Speaker 3: So I'm gonna go to an organization under pat Riley
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: to learn some of these skills.
- 1:30:25Speaker 6: Yeah, because he had a fans. Now he has fans
- 1:30:29Speaker 6: because when I was in Memphis, I was at the
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: game out there, when I watched the game, there are
- 1:30:34Speaker 6: people like the Memphis fans. They like Trey. He has fans.
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: He's just like you said, it's just the he. I mean,
- 1:30:40Speaker 6: he has the fan because he's like a I'm not
- 1:30:43Speaker 6: saying he's Steph, but he's a little guy. He's like
- 1:30:46Speaker 6: an Iverson and he's always pulling for the smaller guy.
- 1:30:50Speaker 6: You're always pulling for him. But as sports Jack says,
- 1:30:52Speaker 6: he's just not I'm not here to lead man any
- 1:30:55Speaker 6: of the playball. And for me, when I see Trey,
- 1:30:58Speaker 6: when you hear him talk in these interviews, when they
- 1:31:01Speaker 6: try and spotlight him, he seems uncomfortable just trying to
- 1:31:08Speaker 6: fit into that leadership role. He doesn't want to talk
- 1:31:12Speaker 6: about it. He doesn't want He just wanted to play balls.
- 1:31:15Speaker 12: So the questions right, And I don't think the Hawks
- 1:31:18Speaker 12: are willing to relinquish that personality from him, like they
- 1:31:23Speaker 12: want him to be the face of the franchise and
- 1:31:25Speaker 12: he just want to go out and win a game.
- 1:31:27Speaker 12: So you know, when they put the camera in his face,
- 1:31:30Speaker 12: I think it does him more harm than good because
- 1:31:33Speaker 12: he comes across as irritated and bothered in his an.
- 1:31:38Speaker 25: Yeah exactly, I just I just came to thirty five. Yeah,
- 1:31:45Speaker 25: I'm not even dressed for interview. Yeah you know, I'm
- 1:31:48Speaker 25: just here so I don't get fired. Heyd looked like
- 1:31:51Speaker 25: he didn't bring any He didn't. He didn't bring a
- 1:31:53Speaker 25: U haul whatever figure to fit in. This ferrari is
- 1:31:57Speaker 25: what's going to whatever city I'm going to. I just
- 1:32:00Speaker 25: buy some pots and fans and then give it to
- 1:32:03Speaker 25: charity when I leave. No, I don't need no, No,
- 1:32:06Speaker 25: we'll go month to month, month to month lease. They
- 1:32:08Speaker 25: don't need to buyd no place in investing this month
- 1:32:11Speaker 25: to month. Maybe I'll be here next if we don't
- 1:32:14Speaker 25: start winning them as for a trade, yes I might,
- 1:32:17Speaker 25: so I might have to break the lease anyway.
- 1:32:21Speaker 3: The NBA has a couple of players in big issues,
- 1:32:25Speaker 3: and I think a lot of people had Chancey billups
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: up on a pedal stool because of what we're talking about.
- 1:32:33Speaker 3: Chance he did the Hall of Famer he did. That's
- 1:32:35Speaker 3: why he's a coach. He had that personality of a
- 1:32:39Speaker 3: leader of a team. And now the FBI and this
- 1:32:44Speaker 3: gambling and it's just so big, and we've talked about
- 1:32:47Speaker 3: it in so many ways, so many people winging on
- 1:32:50Speaker 3: it from a why do they make this? Well, a
- 1:32:52Speaker 3: lot of gamblers have nothing to do with how much
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: money they make. They just like to gamble some of it,
- 1:32:59Speaker 3: you know, is it's that way. It's not like they're
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: trying to pay their bills. They just like that competition.
- 1:33:07Speaker 3: They like to feel like they're better at something than you,
- 1:33:10Speaker 3: whether it's cards, poker, golf, or whatever you have at it.
- 1:33:15Speaker 3: That's just a thrill. It's something that has been in
- 1:33:18Speaker 3: our culture of the world as long as I can remember,
- 1:33:23Speaker 3: people like to gamble on something, whether it's pushups or
- 1:33:28Speaker 3: a million dollars, it's a way of life. Now, what
- 1:33:32Speaker 3: seems to have happened with these leagues, and I'm talking
- 1:33:36Speaker 3: about all of them, pro and college and everything else,
- 1:33:39Speaker 3: is that you forgot that you had humans involved. See
- 1:33:44Speaker 3: mine is bigger than these poker games. That's just whatever.
- 1:33:46Speaker 3: That's just somebody got in some trouble and went to snitching.
- 1:33:49Speaker 3: Now the part where it talks about some of the mafia,
- 1:33:52Speaker 3: and it's same on the mafia to still be operating
- 1:33:56Speaker 3: where you got to cheat people, I mean you know
- 1:33:59Speaker 3: that that was the only thing I saw where it's
- 1:34:01Speaker 3: like y'all got like table readers or they had some
- 1:34:06Speaker 3: table and I'm.
- 1:34:08Speaker 6: Like, they got that going and they got to go
- 1:34:11Speaker 6: and make it scared to go to.
- 1:34:13Speaker 3: Some honest crooks.
- 1:34:17Speaker 12: Well, I don't want to stand in place of judgment
- 1:34:19Speaker 12: because we've all been involved in an illegal gambling scheme,
- 1:34:23Speaker 12: am I right, We've all gotten proceeds from illegal gambling schemes.
- 1:34:27Speaker 6: But my mind pours.
- 1:34:28Speaker 3: Into the fact of how, and no one person is
- 1:34:33Speaker 3: to blame because the mindset of society has the morality
- 1:34:38Speaker 3: of it is falling down, and we have decided that
- 1:34:42Speaker 3: all the things that were wrong should be advocated.
- 1:34:45Speaker 6: To be right or at least not be judged on
- 1:34:52Speaker 6: it ain't right but really wrong.
- 1:34:54Speaker 3: But you know, and sometimes I have always felt like
- 1:34:57Speaker 3: some rules that were in place was just to put
- 1:35:01Speaker 3: it in your mind that you might get in some
- 1:35:03Speaker 3: trouble doing it. Not that you're going to stop it,
- 1:35:08Speaker 3: but you were almost kind of like trying to lessen
- 1:35:11Speaker 3: how many people if I vilify it, Yeah, cigarettes were villified.
- 1:35:18Speaker 6: I ain't really it.
- 1:35:19Speaker 10: Stopped a couple of us just because of the you know,
- 1:35:29Speaker 10: I'm gonna put these new points down play Well.
- 1:35:32Speaker 6: I'm actually right on the side of the package. Yeah,
- 1:35:36Speaker 6: smoking will kill you. We'll kill you.
- 1:35:37Speaker 3: And we've kind of lifted that on gambling and we
- 1:35:41Speaker 3: kind of have done it. I think two shows ago
- 1:35:43Speaker 3: we were talking about how the college and the n
- 1:35:47Speaker 3: C Double A. It's like, oh, well, coaches and players
- 1:35:51Speaker 3: now can bet on other sports. Well, when it used
- 1:35:55Speaker 3: to be away from it completely, we had a blanket
- 1:35:59Speaker 3: because I don't even want you to feel like in
- 1:36:01Speaker 3: any facet because, as I said, once you get into
- 1:36:06Speaker 3: trouble or once you get down, You're gonna start opening
- 1:36:12Speaker 3: up your brain to how you can make up? Is
- 1:36:16Speaker 3: that not how it works? Of course, it is how
- 1:36:18Speaker 3: it works. How can I make up? I'm down? I'm
- 1:36:21Speaker 3: down fifteen grand and somebody's offering thirty grand.
- 1:36:28Speaker 6: That I could not only get flush and out of debt,
- 1:36:33Speaker 6: but be up flush. No pun intended, a little flush.
- 1:36:37Speaker 3: There it is, and that's the most disturbing I think
- 1:36:42Speaker 3: for Chauncy it is just a thing for me and
- 1:36:44Speaker 3: Chauncey Bility. If these accusations are true, basically all these
- 1:36:49Speaker 3: players most likely will be blackballed, but from any kind
- 1:36:54Speaker 3: of coaching, well, any kind of playing in this country.
- 1:36:58Speaker 6: Did you hear Adam Silva comments, Well.
- 1:37:02Speaker 3: Wait, we'll talk about the other side of the break
- 1:37:05Speaker 3: gambling scandal for some NBA players, uh and coach and
- 1:37:10Speaker 3: Chauncey Billet.
- 1:37:11Speaker 6: We'll be back more to Sports Jock.

- 1:40:29Speaker 3: Dodgers one one in the series with Toronto. But your Shanabo,
- 1:40:35Speaker 3: I want to say, that's how he said his first name, Yama.
- 1:40:37Speaker 12: Uh.
- 1:40:39Speaker 3: Okay, let's go with that, U Yamamato. And it stood
- 1:40:45Speaker 3: out for me kind of like showony a Tony. Uh,
- 1:40:49Speaker 3: just show a Tony.
- 1:40:52Speaker 6: Yama.
- 1:40:52Speaker 3: Matu pitched the whole game the other night, and I
- 1:40:56Speaker 3: thought Major League Baseball had banned that stop that.
- 1:41:00Speaker 6: I thought that when I heard that too, he pitched
- 1:41:02Speaker 6: the whole game, I was like, they've been discouraged that
- 1:41:06Speaker 6: likes to go in that in that tampering or something
- 1:41:10Speaker 6: like that.
- 1:41:11Speaker 3: It's something like they got to rule against that. But
- 1:41:14Speaker 3: just never really see that, especially this late in the season.
- 1:41:17Speaker 3: He went a whole game. Pitch count or not the
- 1:41:21Speaker 3: whole new system is.
- 1:41:24Speaker 6: That the pitch count though, I mean if it gets
- 1:41:27Speaker 6: to a point, because even on the levels down, I
- 1:41:30Speaker 6: mean they you see them kids and you're thinking, well, wow,
- 1:41:32Speaker 6: they're throwing good. Why would you take them out whether
- 1:41:34Speaker 6: they reached the pitch count? And so that's what I think.
- 1:41:37Speaker 6: He threw ninety three pitches. Yeah, and for a lot
- 1:41:40Speaker 6: of times during the season, that guy is still in
- 1:41:44Speaker 6: the fifth pitches.
- 1:41:47Speaker 3: The people at Harvard and m I. T. Sole major
- 1:41:51Speaker 3: League Baseball, the idea of have somebody pitched five innings,
- 1:41:58Speaker 3: then bringing the middle of reliever and bringing in a
- 1:42:01Speaker 3: sub closer and bringing a closer. Everybody used the saying format. Now,
- 1:42:05Speaker 3: when the last time you saw somebody pitch a complete game.
- 1:42:09Speaker 6: Two months ago? Okay, I know, I know it's rare now,
- 1:42:13Speaker 6: but that's that's part of.
- 1:42:15Speaker 3: It's rare because the pitch count or is rare because
- 1:42:17Speaker 3: that's how the new formula goes.
- 1:42:19Speaker 6: Well, the pitch count is part of that formula, that
- 1:42:21Speaker 6: form Where was this thirty years ago? Guys were throwing
- 1:42:25Speaker 6: one hundred and fifty pitches in a game, staying in
- 1:42:27Speaker 6: the game, and now they don't want Now they're not
- 1:42:30Speaker 6: getting they're not even getting to one hundred before they
- 1:42:33Speaker 6: get However, I break it.
- 1:42:34Speaker 3: The man was allowed to go, Yes, he was. I've
- 1:42:38Speaker 3: seen people with a no hitter get pulled. Yeah, I
- 1:42:41Speaker 3: mean pitches that they thrown because that's like the match
- 1:42:44Speaker 3: I got a no hitter. That's the magic number that
- 1:42:46Speaker 3: they're going by that you're equating analytics. Analytics say go
- 1:42:52Speaker 3: for it on fourth and one. In this situation, analytics say, dude,
- 1:42:56Speaker 3: you've analyzed.
- 1:42:57Speaker 10: Guys were throwing more pitches, So there were more guys
- 1:43:00Speaker 10: going deeper into games, and they were throwing one hundred
- 1:43:03Speaker 10: and forty one hundred and fifty pitches.
- 1:43:06Speaker 3: It doesn't matter how many pitches I'm on, do you
- 1:43:10Speaker 3: to meet?
- 1:43:11Speaker 11: Well?
- 1:43:11Speaker 6: To me, I didn't come up. I didn't walk off
- 1:43:13Speaker 6: like the down right matters to.
- 1:43:17Speaker 10: Who that that's what That's what's being considered as far
- 1:43:21Speaker 10: as how many pitches as the guy thrown. Yeah, he
- 1:43:23Speaker 10: has a no hitter and he's in the seventh inning,
- 1:43:25Speaker 10: but he's he's thrown one hundred and five pitches. If
- 1:43:29Speaker 10: we get him, if he gets to one hundred and fifteen,
- 1:43:31Speaker 10: what's going to going to be It's gonna be a problem.
- 1:43:34Speaker 10: How do you how do you know it's not necessarily
- 1:43:38Speaker 10: for the manager for the player. You've never let me
- 1:43:41Speaker 10: get to one hundred and twenty. You keep pulling me
- 1:43:43Speaker 10: at one ten, So how do you know what's going
- 1:43:45Speaker 10: to happen after one one? Because someone is trusting the analytics.
- 1:43:48Speaker 3: Guy, That's what I just said, the analytics of it.
- 1:43:51Speaker 10: But like I know, the manager wants him to stay
- 1:43:53Speaker 10: in the game. The player wants to stay in the game.
- 1:43:55Speaker 10: If he's feeling good, and trust me, trust outside of that,
- 1:43:59Speaker 10: they don't have that. They don't have us all over that.
- 1:44:01Speaker 12: If they're listening to the analytics guy and he's saying
- 1:44:04Speaker 12: pull him at one hundred and ten pitches, it could
- 1:44:07Speaker 12: be a no hitter, and that last pitch could be
- 1:44:10Speaker 12: one hundred and fifty miles an hour. To keep his
- 1:44:12Speaker 12: money coming, that analytics guy is gonna call up to
- 1:44:15Speaker 12: the to the box or somewhere and go, hey, you
- 1:44:19Speaker 12: know he's getting to that pitch count, because that's where
- 1:44:23Speaker 12: his importance is in the organization. I didn't even know
- 1:44:29Speaker 12: a picture of Yamamoto's caliber was on the Dodgers because
- 1:44:33Speaker 12: all they kept talking about was Shoe hal Tani. The
- 1:44:36Speaker 12: fact that this man came in and pitched the whole
- 1:44:38Speaker 12: game woke me up. I was like the fact that
- 1:44:42Speaker 12: they even had it made me. It made me feel
- 1:44:44Speaker 12: bad for the Blue Jays to think that they don't
- 1:44:47Speaker 12: have a chance. The Dodgers have a picture who can
- 1:44:50Speaker 12: pitch a whole game and blow people out, And then
- 1:44:54Speaker 12: if he can only go seven innings, then they got
- 1:44:58Speaker 12: a show. Hey, who can come in, who will hit
- 1:45:01Speaker 12: three home runs and strike out ten people. It's the
- 1:45:04Speaker 12: Dodgers World Series to lose at this point is how
- 1:45:08Speaker 12: I feel. So I don't understand how, and that's always
- 1:45:13Speaker 12: been a problem. People who are not playing the game
- 1:45:16Speaker 12: are dictating how the game ought to be played. That
- 1:45:19Speaker 12: has always been a fundamental issue with me and sports.
- 1:45:23Speaker 12: The reason Brian Kelly got fired is because some booster
- 1:45:27Speaker 12: who's probably never picked up a football in his life,
- 1:45:30Speaker 12: great in business, awesome businessman or business person, but never
- 1:45:35Speaker 12: picked up a football in their life, has dictated what
- 1:45:38Speaker 12: this man's career will be going forward because I got
- 1:45:41Speaker 12: the money to do that.
- 1:45:42Speaker 3: And that's you know, from Trick. And that's why everybody
- 1:45:46Speaker 3: feels like they can join the conversation because they're reading something.
- 1:45:51Speaker 3: It irri takes me because I've played.
- 1:45:53Speaker 10: But people that because you have, you have decided, because
- 1:45:57Speaker 10: you read the recipe, you can make the pie.
- 1:46:00Speaker 3: That's not always true. I can tell you completely everything
- 1:46:03Speaker 3: that's in the pie. It still didn't turn out the
- 1:46:07Speaker 3: way I made it. That's really how it goes. But
- 1:46:13Speaker 3: now everybody can report on sports, give analytics on things
- 1:46:17Speaker 3: that based.
- 1:46:17Speaker 6: On a computer ranking correct.
- 1:46:19Speaker 3: Yeah, that's all from Trick contact lenses to NBA faced cars,
- 1:46:25Speaker 3: the mob rigged heigh stakes poker games. They were saying
- 1:46:29Speaker 3: that point shaving has been going on for a wild
- 1:46:33Speaker 3: lot of speculation. Bad producer, you said you had some conspiracies. Yeah,
- 1:46:37Speaker 3: that's conspiracy. Two things.
- 1:46:39Speaker 6: It's funny how we always say they tie in MJ
- 1:46:42Speaker 6: and LBJ into some kind of stories all the time.
- 1:46:46Speaker 6: You notice when they Terry Rose here, when he came
- 1:46:48Speaker 6: out and went in picked up, he had on the
- 1:46:50Speaker 6: Hornets hoodie and apparently that's when a lot of that
- 1:46:55Speaker 6: was going on. And then Chauncea has on the Clutch
- 1:46:58Speaker 6: Sports hoodie when he's coming out from arrangement. So you know,
- 1:47:03Speaker 6: and everybody wants to tie MJ and LBJ into some
- 1:47:09Speaker 6: kind of there. So I'm hoping that that this thing
- 1:47:12Speaker 6: dies down and we can.
- 1:47:14Speaker 3: While you're hoping that it dies down if it is
- 1:47:16Speaker 3: gambling and your money, you like to gamble. So now
- 1:47:20Speaker 3: you are understanding that some of these games could be
- 1:47:22Speaker 3: rigged or point shaved. Oh why do you want that
- 1:47:25Speaker 3: to die down?
- 1:47:26Speaker 6: Well, I'm saying to die down with the conspiracies as
- 1:47:29Speaker 6: far as right now. Let's find out.
- 1:47:30Speaker 3: So you live on conspiracy, you live on conspiracy, you
- 1:47:35Speaker 3: bring more conspiracy to the show than anybody on this panel.
- 1:47:39Speaker 6: But I want let's let this ride. Why No, I'm saying,
- 1:47:42Speaker 6: let's let it ride. Let's see what's going on here?
- 1:47:44Speaker 6: Why and Twitter? But you know why you want it
- 1:47:47Speaker 6: to die. You know why you want it to die
- 1:47:50Speaker 6: is because once people figure out. When Adam Silver made
- 1:47:54Speaker 6: his comments about this, he said that the number one
- 1:47:57Speaker 6: thing that they have to be concerned about is that
- 1:47:59Speaker 6: the fan understand that we are defending and protecting the
- 1:48:03Speaker 6: integrity of the game. If you're still willing to bet
- 1:48:07Speaker 6: on NBA games knowing what you know now, you just
- 1:48:11Speaker 6: have to admit to yourself that you just listened to you.
- 1:48:16Speaker 12: You don't care about integrity. You don't even care. You
- 1:48:21Speaker 12: just want to wager money with what's going on.
- 1:48:23Speaker 6: You got guys even talking about the Rams Saints game
- 1:48:27Speaker 6: with this. Listen, listen what I'm saying, sir, How can
- 1:48:30Speaker 6: you be sure that it's wrestling at this point? That's
- 1:48:34Speaker 6: what a lot of people saying. And do they bet
- 1:48:36Speaker 6: on wrestling? I don't think.
- 1:48:38Speaker 3: So we'll be back to sports.
- 1:48:50Speaker 9: Do you want to say, don't go awayne or of
- 1:48:55Speaker 9: the sports Josha with Wayne Gandy is coming up next.
- 1:49:00Speaker 8: But I get lost in the music. I'd like to
- 1:49:04Speaker 8: isolate each instrument, the rhythmic base, the harmonies on the piano,
- 1:49:09Speaker 8: sticky melody.
- 1:49:15Speaker 22: Castle bit.
- 1:49:16Speaker 3: There's someone crossing the streets.
- 1:49:18Speaker 6: Sorry I didn't see them there.
- 1:49:20Speaker 3: If you feel different, you drive different.
- 1:49:23Speaker 6: Don't drive high. It's dangerous and illegal everywhere. A message

- 1:50:50Speaker 6: Aytown us.
- 1:51:10Speaker 3: Walk back to this wort Shock Show, this sport Shock
- 1:51:12Speaker 3: Wing Gandy. Rumors are that John Gruton might emerge next
- 1:51:16Speaker 3: year in the college ranks coaching. As I said, won't
- 1:51:20Speaker 3: be surprised to see more college coaches come from pro ranks.
- 1:51:25Speaker 3: The money is about the same and the rules are
- 1:51:29Speaker 3: more adaptive where you can go find people. Bill Belichick,
- 1:51:33Speaker 3: I don't know why y'all thought he was just gonna
- 1:51:34Speaker 3: walk in and win on a level that he has
- 1:51:38Speaker 3: never even coached. He has adjustment, he has a curve
- 1:51:41Speaker 3: that he has to learn. I mean, I don't understand
- 1:51:44Speaker 3: the psyche of people winning is not just instantaneous. He
- 1:51:50Speaker 3: was at the Patriots for a couple of years before
- 1:51:52Speaker 3: they started winning. You you got to get there and
- 1:51:55Speaker 3: figure out and what's the problem and how you can
- 1:51:59Speaker 3: get the mindset of your ideas imprinted on the players.
- 1:52:03Speaker 3: But we will see how that goes. Four members of
- 1:52:06Speaker 3: a California softball team was found dead. Looks like an
- 1:52:10Speaker 3: apparent that batch of drugs. California's softball team. I think
- 1:52:16Speaker 3: they have like an adult pro league out there. This
- 1:52:20Speaker 3: is back on October to twenty first in Fullton County.
- 1:52:24Speaker 3: ESPN's new NFL media acquisition would reportedly bring an end
- 1:52:29Speaker 3: to Monday night football double hitters. So I know we've
- 1:52:33Speaker 3: been talking about Monday nights and the double hitters, but
- 1:52:36Speaker 3: they have acquired the NFL media and looks like it
- 1:52:42Speaker 3: would just be one game implemented like we always used to.
- 1:52:46Speaker 6: Have, and we're going to say another game on Tuesday
- 1:52:51Speaker 6: something like that.
- 1:52:53Speaker 3: SEC is permanently suspended Ken Williamson after those back calls
- 1:52:58Speaker 3: in at Auburn Auburn Georgia game a couple of weeks ago.
- 1:53:03Speaker 3: Remember where Jackson arnold it looked like he was a
- 1:53:07Speaker 3: touchdown to me, uh, And they gave Kirby a time
- 1:53:11Speaker 3: out when he convinced them he was not clapping that
- 1:53:14Speaker 3: he was calling the time out, but that referee Ken
- 1:53:16Speaker 3: Williamson and definitely suspended. Once again. I asked a question,
- 1:53:22Speaker 3: should sports refereeing be done by former athletes? Should it
- 1:53:32Speaker 3: be what former athletes the referee? Should they be? Should that?
- 1:53:38Speaker 3: Would that give them a even more in depth I
- 1:53:43Speaker 3: got to have a college degree, and I have to
- 1:53:45Speaker 3: be I have played some sport in college, no matter
- 1:53:50Speaker 3: what the college, junior college.
- 1:53:52Speaker 6: Well, a lot of the guys on that college leveil
- 1:53:54Speaker 6: have played some type of collegiate sports and there are
- 1:53:58Speaker 6: professionals in there career. I know that you have a
- 1:54:04Speaker 6: I know in basketball just being around it for the
- 1:54:06Speaker 6: years i've been. Your path to the collegiate rankings is
- 1:54:10Speaker 6: if you've played on a collegiates war to played, whether
- 1:54:14Speaker 6: it's football, baseball, or basketball, it will help you.
- 1:54:17Speaker 11: Well.
- 1:54:17Speaker 10: Do you think there's an interest because I mean, we're
- 1:54:20Speaker 10: seeing like a few former players become officials in football,
- 1:54:27Speaker 10: and I know in the NBA there are a few
- 1:54:30Speaker 10: former players that became officials. Do you think there's enough
- 1:54:33Speaker 10: of an interest where that should be a requirement or
- 1:54:39Speaker 10: that should be preferred.
- 1:54:40Speaker 3: I think it would be an instant interest if that
- 1:54:43Speaker 3: was the catalyst to how you get the job. Now
- 1:54:47Speaker 3: it's refereeing in college had to come from like you've
- 1:54:51Speaker 3: got to fill those jobs with former college basketball players
- 1:54:55Speaker 3: male or freeman. The two things that need to be
- 1:54:58Speaker 3: on this resume is you graduated from college and you
- 1:55:06Speaker 3: played at some point you played college basketball free.
- 1:55:10Speaker 12: Now what what the That makes a lot of sense
- 1:55:13Speaker 12: to have people with firsthand knowledge making these calls. But
- 1:55:18Speaker 12: what do you say to the college graduate who's been
- 1:55:22Speaker 12: successfully and without error officiating games for an entire career.
- 1:55:29Speaker 12: I've been doing this sixteen years. I didn't say fire
- 1:55:32Speaker 12: the people that's already in. You're just saying people who
- 1:55:34Speaker 12: are coming after so well, you know, you know, well
- 1:55:38Speaker 12: I didn't get a chance to play, But I'm been
- 1:55:40Speaker 12: officiating at the high school level.
- 1:55:43Speaker 3: Don't we have jobs that you have to have certain criteria?
- 1:55:46Speaker 3: There are there are jobs with certain thing and if
- 1:55:48Speaker 3: you don't have that criteria, you just can't have that.
- 1:55:51Speaker 3: You can't have that job. Yes, you're trying to tell
- 1:55:54Speaker 3: me how you think.
- 1:55:55Speaker 6: But there's some guys. There's some guys though that on
- 1:55:58Speaker 6: this level that have worked their way up in that
- 1:56:01Speaker 6: position to be able to show that they can well
- 1:56:04Speaker 6: did he make a great judgment?
- 1:56:06Speaker 3: Did he not hear what I just said. I'm not
- 1:56:08Speaker 3: telling you the people that's not already in I'm not
- 1:56:12Speaker 3: trying to they get to retire. No, No, they can continue.
- 1:56:17Speaker 10: What I'm no, I'm saying, they get to continue until
- 1:56:19Speaker 10: they're bring in former athletes as new officials. You bring
- 1:56:23Speaker 10: in new officials. Well, you know some states, some state
- 1:56:26Speaker 10: we do change the requirements of jobs.
- 1:56:29Speaker 3: What they doing.
- 1:56:29Speaker 6: I was going to say, some some states do require
- 1:56:32Speaker 6: to be a state trooper you have to have a
- 1:56:34Speaker 6: college degree. Now it just you can't be military or
- 1:56:36Speaker 6: high school grad.
- 1:56:37Speaker 3: You have to in certain states you have to have
- 1:56:39Speaker 3: good credit that officers that's not always used to be.
- 1:56:43Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. I'm not telling you to get
- 1:56:45Speaker 3: rid of the current referees. I'm saying you can mandate
- 1:56:49Speaker 3: that from Okay, starting in twenty twenty six or twenty
- 1:56:53Speaker 3: twenty seven, so the next that next era.
- 1:56:58Speaker 6: What the referee with the current cloud of suspicion, with
- 1:57:03Speaker 6: how some of these former players and athletes have become
- 1:57:08Speaker 6: subject to the eels of being bought off in gambling,
- 1:57:14Speaker 6: make that seem less attractive. Now, like a.
- 1:57:17Speaker 12: Former player if I can get to a former player
- 1:57:20Speaker 12: and they're a coach in the game or actually playing
- 1:57:22Speaker 12: in the game, Surely I can get to a referee.
- 1:57:27Speaker 3: Well, that's that's anyone that's anything human nature, human nature. Yeah,
- 1:57:32Speaker 3: I'm talking about to get a You know, a lot
- 1:57:34Speaker 3: of us are asking for a better quality, and all
- 1:57:37Speaker 3: the things that we're trying to do is bring in
- 1:57:39Speaker 3: more and more a replay, which is slowing down the
- 1:57:45Speaker 3: game more and more.
- 1:57:45Speaker 6: And instead of just accurate calls, just having a yes.
- 1:57:49Speaker 3: I get it, even even if you wanted to splash
- 1:57:52Speaker 3: in a certain age requirement, if you think that could
- 1:57:56Speaker 3: be some of it, because a lot of bad calls
- 1:57:59Speaker 3: is that the person is not in the right angle,
- 1:58:02Speaker 3: which takes a certain amount of conditioning and speed sometimes
- 1:58:06Speaker 3: to do it. I'm just trying to get the job
- 1:58:09Speaker 3: itself at a higher level. How would you do that?
- 1:58:14Speaker 3: And that's why I'm say I'm not saying get rid
- 1:58:16Speaker 3: of people that already have experience and already been in it.
- 1:58:20Speaker 3: I'm saying, but you could require that some different requirements. Yes,
- 1:58:24Speaker 3: I understand before we go anything online, we need to
- 1:58:26Speaker 3: address anybody. We have some hot button people today.
- 1:58:29Speaker 6: Now, just that's pretty much it pretty much it and
- 1:58:36Speaker 6: they got to got as you know, anything else while
- 1:58:38Speaker 6: we close the church today, Hey just lead, Hey, let
- 1:58:42Speaker 6: this thing. Let it cook. The NBA gambling let it cook,
- 1:58:46Speaker 6: Let it cook. Why that sounds like gambling vernacular, to
- 1:58:51Speaker 6: let something cook? I don't know. But when I ask him,
- 1:58:54Speaker 6: why nothing? We want to find more people. Not not
- 1:59:01Speaker 6: that I want to find more people. I just want to.
- 1:59:03Speaker 6: I want to. I want to quit making I want to.
- 1:59:05Speaker 6: I want them is being to quit trying to make
- 1:59:08Speaker 6: these players as if they are the mafia, they are
- 1:59:14Speaker 6: the villain. These they are prayed upon. I mean, we
- 1:59:17Speaker 6: know they're not twelve sir. Sorry, sorry, All of these
- 1:59:23Speaker 6: are willful, deliberate and intentional actions.
- 1:59:26Speaker 3: Let us and see.
- 1:59:28Speaker 6: That's the people's game, that's the people on my sometime.
- 1:59:37Speaker 3: Let me say this, sir.
- 1:59:38Speaker 6: You know when I say this, he's a person who
- 1:59:42Speaker 6: still today be around some real gangs.
- 1:59:46Speaker 12: The true for the matter is how if you round
- 1:59:49Speaker 12: big boys, you better expect to do big boy stuff.
- 1:59:52Speaker 12: Don't go to crying you prayed upon when you've been
- 1:59:55Speaker 12: round for years. But stop making them No no, no no,
- 2:00:02Speaker 12: if you, if you, if you play the game, Chelsea
- 2:00:07Speaker 12: Billis is a Hall of Famer. Here is a long
- 2:00:09Speaker 12: time pro. Come on, man, don't nobody trusts a gardener
- 2:00:14Speaker 12: with clean hands. Everybody got to get their hands dirty.
- 2:00:17Speaker 12: You know what time it is with farming. Let's not
- 2:00:20Speaker 12: let's not pretend like we just got dropped off here
- 2:00:23Speaker 12: and somebody took advantage of us. Yeah, he's trying to
- 2:00:31Speaker 12: say that some of these people probably got in so
- 2:00:34Speaker 12: deep with their gambling that the mob used them as
- 2:00:37Speaker 12: pawns to set up for Lebrond in some way. And
- 2:00:42Speaker 12: all I'm saying is for you to get in so
- 2:00:45Speaker 12: deep with the mob that they can flip you. You
- 2:00:47Speaker 12: was already gambling with the mob. Lebron probably does gamble.
- 2:00:52Speaker 10: No, I mean that he's part of he's part of
- 2:00:54Speaker 10: these poker games. And if he gave Damon Jones the information, yeah,
- 2:00:59Speaker 10: I'm not playing in the night before it came out
- 2:01:01Speaker 10: on the injury report. Well what that got to do
- 2:01:03Speaker 10: with Damon Jones passing that information to somebody else? I
- 2:01:05Speaker 10: was just talking to about that I played with. Now
- 2:01:08Speaker 10: he was saying that before the information came in, like
- 2:01:11Speaker 10: it was like insider trading. Yes, it's a lot of
- 2:01:13Speaker 10: that stuff was going on too.
- 2:01:14Speaker 6: There was a lot of that going on and saying,
- 2:01:16Speaker 6: like telling when players wasn't gonna play and Lebron's name
- 2:01:19Speaker 6: was it done the organization?
- 2:01:21Speaker 3: Well, the thing is public. You wanted it, now you
- 2:01:25Speaker 3: got it. Now you got to worry about the gambling.
- 2:01:27Speaker 3: You wanted injury reports. I didn't want to tell y'all
- 2:01:32Speaker 3: was hurt, But now y'all have mandated that. Y'all trying
- 2:01:35Speaker 3: to hostage the Ravens for letting Lamar Jackson practice, and
- 2:01:40Speaker 3: now Jim Harball forgot to put it in a specific
- 2:01:43Speaker 3: bracket because you wanted to know whether you should bet
- 2:01:46Speaker 3: or not. All of this is a centered around gambling.
- 2:01:51Speaker 3: If you want to find the villain in the story,
- 2:01:53Speaker 3: it's the people you do. All these sports betting shows
- 2:01:57Speaker 3: all about gambling. The point Bill Belichick told you all
- 2:02:01Speaker 3: this twenty five years ago. Why do you need He
- 2:02:04Speaker 3: used to just put a whole bunch of people on
- 2:02:06Speaker 3: the injury on the injured list just to mess with
- 2:02:09Speaker 3: people because he didn't understand why do I need to
- 2:02:13Speaker 3: tell you who's playing Sunday? In part of it, you
- 2:02:17Speaker 3: change the kickoffs so you could manage the prop betting.
- 2:02:21Speaker 3: What kind of kickoff is that I gotta kick it
- 2:02:23Speaker 3: in his own And I gotta tell you when I'm
- 2:02:26Speaker 3: gonna own side kick what kind.
- 2:02:27Speaker 6: Of BS is that? Don't get mad? How do I
- 2:02:30Speaker 6: get a trick plot? So I gotta tell you when
- 2:02:31Speaker 6: I'm running trick play, don't get mad.
- 2:02:34Speaker 3: I gotta hold the defense so I can't shift and
- 2:02:37Speaker 3: let people come. I gotta let you change your personnel
- 2:02:41Speaker 3: to match what I put out here that used to
- 2:02:44Speaker 3: be gainsmanship. I'm gonna catch this big tight end on
- 2:02:48Speaker 3: this guy. I'm gonna keep these big guys out here
- 2:02:50Speaker 3: and get them tired and then they can't rush the passer.
- 2:02:54Speaker 6: But now when I go to five wide, I.
- 2:02:56Speaker 3: Gotta give you time to get they big butts off
- 2:02:59Speaker 3: the field and put you some fresh rushers in there.
- 2:03:02Speaker 3: All this was about gambling, all of it, and now
- 2:03:06Speaker 3: you man point spreads who hurt who not, And then
- 2:03:11Speaker 3: you want to blame the players for what.
- 2:03:15Speaker 6: For getting involved.
- 2:03:17Speaker 10: Don't get what you're in, what you're selling, even though
- 2:03:21Speaker 10: there they're the sports books all over.
- 2:03:23Speaker 3: And we all know the truth is he will throw
- 2:03:29Speaker 3: your in the ocean.
- 2:03:31Speaker 6: It's time to wrap things up.
- 2:03:33Speaker 3: On the Sports Junk Show with Wayne Denny. When here
- 2:03:53Speaker 3: the times of those she gives a sports shout Jess
- 2:03:55Speaker 3: a minute to Ben. We'd like to thank you for
- 2:03:56Speaker 3: tuning in to today's show, Big Kenny Comanchi, Greg bad
- 2:03:59Speaker 3: producing things for your contributions today. If you miss any
- 2:04:02Speaker 3: of the show, you can hear a replay Apple Podcast,
- 2:04:05Speaker 3: Amazon Podcast, Audible, Deezer, iHeartRadio and Spot of five Going
- 2:04:11Speaker 3: in ocean today because it was such a sad moment
- 2:04:15Speaker 3: last week when I read the story an empty apartment,
- 2:04:20Speaker 3: twelve year old comes home down in Texas and the
- 2:04:25Speaker 3: mama and the daddy has moved. They moved and didn't
- 2:04:34Speaker 3: tell the twelve year old you just come home.
- 2:04:35Speaker 6: It's not funny and it just moved. I think I
- 2:04:41Speaker 6: think I know some people this happened to before too.
- 2:04:43Speaker 6: You need that right, Erica, Renay Sanders and Kevin Dwayne
- 2:04:49Speaker 6: Adams just moved. Kid went to the neighbor's house next
- 2:04:55Speaker 6: door and they left the total neighbors that the boy
- 2:05:00Speaker 6: was supposed to stay with the uncle, and they found
- 2:05:03Speaker 6: the uncle. The uncle said he had no idea what
- 2:05:05Speaker 6: they were talking about. And basically they did find them
- 2:05:08Speaker 6: in press charges. But you can't just leave the twelve
- 2:05:11Speaker 6: year old like that, bro, that's that's just But what
- 2:05:14Speaker 6: did he do? So, I mean, it's not funny. It's
- 2:05:19Speaker 6: sad when I read it, because I kept thinking the
- 2:05:21Speaker 6: little young boy probably was in tears, and I bet
- 2:05:24Speaker 6: he listened.
- 2:05:25Speaker 3: Next time. You got to get him some counseling for that,
- 2:05:27Speaker 3: that kind of abandonment. You just moved, not locked the door.
- 2:05:32Speaker 6: Move.
- 2:05:34Speaker 3: So for that, Erica and Kevin fucked up, Like my
- 2:05:38Speaker 3: mama did it one time.
- 2:05:39Speaker 29: Hey, he's gonna be home by two thirty. We got
- 2:05:41Speaker 29: a hurry up and get everything. The bus drops him
- 2:05:44Speaker 29: off at two thirty. So y'all you took them some eggo,
- 2:05:48Speaker 29: sitt him to school. He come back in the bus house.
- 2:05:52Speaker 29: I ain't gonna die. My mama did it one time,
- 2:05:53Speaker 29: but I was in college. In college, I came back and.
- 2:05:56Speaker 6: She didn't live that no moment. I was like, Mamma,
- 2:05:57Speaker 6: don't live you know. She was like, oh, we moved
- 2:06:00Speaker 6: not to where they had moved to, but it was
- 2:06:02Speaker 6: like it was. I was in college when it happened.
- 2:06:05Speaker 3: We hope y'all have a good afternoon. From the sports
- 2:06:07Speaker 3: talk show, Peace
