Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: I'd expect it to be that fat. They caught us
- 0:03Speaker 1: like in hindsight, they made it really like a parent
- 0:07Speaker 1: that hey, this business ain't gonna make it.
- 0:20Speaker 2: And what's up y'all?
- 0:21Speaker 3: And welcome back to this episode of the four All
- 0:23Speaker 3: Nerds show. It's your Boy, DJ Ben I Mean aka

- 0:32Speaker 3: sun Spot Professor, next up here in the Spaceship Tonight,
- 0:37Speaker 3: And as always, I'm.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Joined by Taitana King d Grand that was a tech
- 0:41Speaker 1: also known as Dark Chocolate, Phoenix, Doc Hockey, Tessa Wrack Thompson,
- 0:45Speaker 1: The Book of Ashanti, Doctor doing Something Strange for some Change,
- 0:49Speaker 1: Bapped in America, and the Coldest Winter Soldier Ever.
- 0:55Speaker 3: And we are here to review the latest episode of
- 0:58Speaker 3: Excellent ninety seven, Season two, episode five, entitled Weapon X
- 1:03Speaker 3: Lies and DVD, which is a reference to the nineties
- 1:07Speaker 3: film Sex Lies and Videotape. Some of y'all might have
- 1:12Speaker 3: seen it, star as James Spader and Andy McDowell. It's
- 1:15Speaker 3: one of those not thrillers, but you know sex movies
- 1:19Speaker 3: that used to be popping back in the day, where
- 1:21Speaker 3: a kid like me, you know, went and found his
- 1:24Speaker 3: way to see it, because I was hoping for more
- 1:25Speaker 3: sex would have made you lies and videotapes. So yeah, disappointed,
- 1:31Speaker 3: which kind of you know, I guess foreshadowing for this episode.
- 1:35Speaker 3: I mean, I won't say I was disappointed, but yeah,
- 1:38Speaker 3: this is not my favorite episode of the season.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:41Speaker 4: Nah nah.
- 1:42Speaker 1: It went from like pretty I mean, I'm not saying
- 1:45Speaker 1: that you can't have episodes that. I mean, first of all,
- 1:47Speaker 1: there was action, but it didn't feel action.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Packed, if that makes any sense.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I don't know if for me it felt kind of
- 1:54Speaker 1: anti climatic. And maybe it's because like from when we
- 1:58Speaker 1: were talking about you were talking to me last week,
- 2:01Speaker 1: like you were hyping it up for me because you
- 2:03Speaker 1: were telling me about the comics and you know that
- 2:06Speaker 1: that that seeing Wolverine get the folder from Captain America
- 2:10Speaker 1: and you know, Black Wido being there and how the
- 2:13Speaker 1: significance of that. So I was like, all right, there's
- 2:15Speaker 1: gonna be some hype shit, and it was just fucking
- 2:18Speaker 1: Wolverine lying as usual. Like I was just like, okay,
- 2:23Speaker 1: I don't know, it just it was there were significant
- 2:28Speaker 1: things happening, obviously, It's just compared to the high stakes
- 2:34Speaker 1: of the rest of the season.
- 2:35Speaker 4: This felt a little bit like a low for me.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Yes, and this definitely confirmed for me why I feel
- 2:41Speaker 3: like Wolverine does not need to be the center of
- 2:43Speaker 3: any more X mentales because it's just like I feel,
- 2:49Speaker 3: especially for comic readers, a lot of this has just
- 2:51Speaker 3: been done so many times. Like you said, it's Wolverine
- 2:54Speaker 3: lying yet again, you know, oh wow, okay, cool. And
- 3:00Speaker 3: then there's the other complaint about this season in general,
- 3:02Speaker 3: and I definitely felt that in this episode that they
- 3:05Speaker 3: are just speed running through storylines and they you know,
- 3:08Speaker 3: they gave us the bone Claus Wolverine. Other than like
- 3:11Speaker 3: a few shots of the bones breaking off, it really
- 3:14Speaker 3: didn't affect much. You know, that was pretty much the
- 3:16Speaker 3: only thing different. Now he's back to regular Wolverine and
- 3:19Speaker 3: they just sped through that storyline wearing the comics. There's
- 3:23Speaker 3: a lot more to it before he gets his metal, right, But.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Doesn't that serve your purpose of what you just said
- 3:29Speaker 1: about you don't want to dwell on Wolverine too much,
- 3:31Speaker 1: Like let's try not speed run, Like, let's just get
- 3:33Speaker 1: it over with. And they did the quick flashback like,
- 3:36Speaker 1: by the way, remember mac Needle pulled all the adamantium
- 3:39Speaker 1: out of it, and it was like, all right, that
- 3:40Speaker 1: ba back, Like I get it. They just trying to
- 3:42Speaker 1: keep it pushing. I just I don't know. I didn't
- 3:45Speaker 1: read the comics, so I didn't know what to expect.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I just thought it would be more than what I saw.
- 3:49Speaker 1: And I was just like, all I bet now we're
- 3:52Speaker 1: doing this.
- 3:53Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 3:53Speaker 1: It just felt like it Also, it's funny for it
- 3:56Speaker 1: to be a speed run. It was also a retelling
- 3:58Speaker 1: of the same story that you've seen also the live
- 4:01Speaker 1: action about him returning back to some whether it's Trask
- 4:05Speaker 1: or in this case, Cornelius or whatever, returning back to
- 4:09Speaker 1: the lab for some purpose to you know, go back
- 4:13Speaker 1: and get his adamant you'll go back and get fixed
- 4:15Speaker 1: or go back to like we've seen that over and
- 4:17Speaker 1: over again in different mediums. So that maybe that's also
- 4:20Speaker 1: why it felt loads me, because I was just like, okay,
- 4:23Speaker 1: no new shit, Like Saber Tooth was funny as hell.
- 4:26Speaker 4: That was great. Yeah, it was cool.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Seen Lady Death Strike, you know, like you know the original,
- 4:31Speaker 1: you know, the nineties version and all this other stuff.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Like I said, I'm I'm a fan. When it comes
- 4:36Speaker 1: X Men ninety seven. No matter what, I'm a fan
- 4:38Speaker 1: of the animation. I'm a fan of the art stop.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I'm a fan of how everything looks so beautiful and
- 4:43Speaker 1: until nineties at the same time. And by that, I
- 4:45Speaker 1: mean when I think when you think of at least me,
- 4:47Speaker 1: when I think of the nineties cartoons, Like, if I'm
- 4:49Speaker 1: looking at it now in my twenty twenty six eyes,
- 4:52Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, that shit looks wild old. The X
- 4:54Speaker 1: Men ninety seven looks classic but not old, if that
- 4:56Speaker 1: make sense.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Yeah, No, I mean I think the animation and has
- 5:00Speaker 3: been top notch, and especially because I've rewatched a lot
- 5:03Speaker 3: of the earlier episodes, they've definitely i mean stepped it
- 5:06Speaker 3: up while still retaining that look. And like you said, yeah,
- 5:09Speaker 3: for someone who's like the nineties X Men comics were
- 5:12Speaker 3: like some of my most iconic time and reading comics.
- 5:16Speaker 3: All the looks of these characters like Lady Deathstrike, Maverick
- 5:20Speaker 3: Saber Tubes in his big nineties super fer outfit, which
- 5:24Speaker 3: I've always even.
- 5:25Speaker 4: Had something to say about his fit.
- 5:27Speaker 1: They say, more said that dusty ass fur you got on, Nigga,
- 5:30Speaker 1: take that shit back to one hundred, you know, twin
- 5:33Speaker 1: Fish street, nigga take that shit back to the corner store,
- 5:36Speaker 1: and he was talking about my shit.
- 5:40Speaker 3: And that was like one of my first i'll say
- 5:42Speaker 3: disappointments because I was really and I even think I
- 5:44Speaker 3: talked about this last week. I thought they would open
- 5:46Speaker 3: with a Weapon X you know. Yeah, that's the only
- 5:50Speaker 3: reason why I watched the intro.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and intro.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Even though it was dope to see Forge in the
- 5:55Speaker 3: intro and they had a few other editions, this is
- 5:57Speaker 3: the first episode I think where the intro didn't show
- 6:00Speaker 3: the characters who are actually in the episode.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I mean they always show same to because he's part
- 6:05Speaker 1: of the on the Magneto side, you know, on the
- 6:07Speaker 1: but not giving him but yet Yeah, to your point,
- 6:13Speaker 1: like I thought that was weird.
- 6:15Speaker 4: Yeah, because they're not really like Hero no.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I guess.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Yeah, so that's why I thought they might have but
- 6:23Speaker 3: they're not. Weapon X isn't really a team either, so
- 6:26Speaker 3: I get that, but I don't know.
- 6:28Speaker 2: That was just one of my you know, first or disappointments.
- 6:30Speaker 4: Now.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Then I was hype, all right, because, like I said,
- 6:33Speaker 3: you got the not the original X Force, but like
- 6:37Speaker 3: the original Weapon that you got a lot of members
- 6:39Speaker 3: of the people who for comic readers and even old
- 6:42Speaker 3: school X Men animated watchers. These are all people we've
- 6:45Speaker 3: seen before as being part of Wolverine's old school crew,
- 6:48Speaker 3: like Sabertooth, Maverick, Garrison, Kine. Sometimes we see a lot
- 6:55Speaker 3: of the names for other people when they get to
- 6:57Speaker 3: that DVD session, people like massed on, silver Fox, been
- 7:00Speaker 3: on the show before, et cetera. But seeing these people
- 7:03Speaker 3: all teamed up together, you know, them cracking jokes more
- 7:06Speaker 3: cracking on saber Tooth. It's like they intro to their Predator
- 7:09Speaker 3: when they're all flying in and then just like in Predator,
- 7:12Speaker 3: you know, they come into this situation popping big ship
- 7:14Speaker 3: and immediately get served.
- 7:16Speaker 4: And that was my way who got served first? Garrison immediately,
- 7:23Speaker 4: I immediately when that ship.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Went down, I was like, damn, he had like you know,
- 7:27Speaker 1: he got two jokes off and.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Was done, done, done, And I mean like no chance
- 7:32Speaker 3: of recovery, no healing factor. No, that man is dead
- 7:37Speaker 3: lying there getting cold, yeah, getting cold, quick perforated.
- 7:42Speaker 2: My man had multiple holes in his chest. Yeah, not
- 7:46Speaker 2: a good look.
- 7:47Speaker 1: So Garrison made it obvious that they were the Red Shirts.
- 7:50Speaker 1: I mean the way they had them sitting next to
- 7:51Speaker 1: each other right in the beginning, Garrison to go out
- 7:55Speaker 1: like that, I did, I'd expect it to be that fast,
- 7:59Speaker 1: Like hindsight, they made it really like a parent that, Hey,
- 8:03Speaker 1: these niggas ain't gonna make it.
- 8:04Speaker 2: They showed you his powers. You know, you got to
- 8:06Speaker 2: see his whole cyber editing.
- 8:08Speaker 1: That's why he's so goofy. He was like he was
- 8:10Speaker 1: still he was laughing too much.
- 8:12Speaker 2: He is wild goofy too.
- 8:13Speaker 3: The first time he ever shows up in the comic,
- 8:15Speaker 3: he like shoots his hands off, and that was supposed
- 8:18Speaker 3: to be like the big moment, you know, And I
- 8:20Speaker 3: was like, someone on.
- 8:21Speaker 1: The writing team does not like that nigga at all.
- 8:23Speaker 1: He's gonna show you.
- 8:25Speaker 3: I can't think of a time when he's ever been
- 8:28Speaker 3: used as like, oh man, look at Garrison Kane. Like
- 8:31Speaker 3: someone might correct me, But I don't know that storyline.
- 8:34Speaker 3: You know, I've never knowed. The first time he ever
- 8:37Speaker 3: showed up, I thought he was super goofy.
- 8:39Speaker 2: And you know, I've never.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Really paid much attention to him since getting knocked off
- 8:43Speaker 3: as hilarious the funkying.
- 8:44Speaker 1: That was my first time ever seeing Garrison Kane and Mavericks.
- 8:47Speaker 1: So for them to just both go down, I was
- 8:49Speaker 1: just like, well.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Closing, Yeah, Maverick is definitely another one of those nineties
- 8:55Speaker 3: characters who I've always loved because he's so excessively nineties.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Like his whole you know, super big guns, the half masks.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Everything about him is just so like and then Maverick,
- 9:06Speaker 3: you know, it's just so goofuly.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Wait, Maverick is the one with all the guns, Maverick. No, yeah,
- 9:14Speaker 1: he landed on a tree stump.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Yes, Garrison Kane is the first one that Maverick.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Mavericks the one that got all scared like he was
- 9:21Speaker 1: on the alien space ship at the end.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Okay, Maverick literally does the lines of the late great
- 9:28Speaker 3: Bill Paxton from Aliens when he says game over, Man,
- 9:33Speaker 3: game over, which is straight from Aliens. That is a
- 9:36Speaker 3: straight up it's Bill Paxson. And then in that right
- 9:39Speaker 3: after Bill Patson says that, you know, a little while
- 9:42Speaker 3: later he does get.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Served just like Maverick.
- 9:44Speaker 3: So as soon as he said game over, you know,
- 9:46Speaker 3: once again respect to Bill Man. Bill is just you know,
- 9:49Speaker 3: one of the greats. Oh and also man pressing piece
- 9:52Speaker 3: of Sam Neal real quick boy, man, you know, Jurassic
- 9:56Speaker 3: Park and a lot of others.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Yeah, just and also i'd be past I.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Read that he was like a really good dude, you know,
- 10:04Speaker 3: like charity work, you know, yeah, all that stuff like
- 10:07Speaker 3: with super you know, like one of them ones. And
- 10:10Speaker 3: so it's sad here, yeah, man, Yeah, him and Bill
- 10:14Speaker 3: because Bill Paxton, you know, so I always love a
- 10:16Speaker 3: good you know, respect and shout out to Bill. So
- 10:18Speaker 3: that was dope to see. But yeah, Maverick got served.
- 10:21Speaker 3: I didn't expect that either, because Maverick Garrison is much
- 10:23Speaker 3: more of a sucker to media Mavericks ever been. I
- 10:26Speaker 3: Maverick at least had that. You know, I'm nineties extreme
- 10:29Speaker 3: going for him, you know. But yeah, yeah, but neither
- 10:34Speaker 3: of them. But we'll get to that because uh yeah,
- 10:37Speaker 3: so they both get served immediately, and we know we're
- 10:40Speaker 3: not both Garrison gets served immediately. They made their way
- 10:44Speaker 3: into the weapon as facility and the brood that is that.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Is that Cannon comic book. Okay, this is all comic book.
- 10:53Speaker 1: So yes, I told you man, I just was like,
- 10:57Speaker 1: I seen this smoothie before.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, well we all have I.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Know how the story ends about Still, I played turn
- 11:03Speaker 1: roll hopey, those ways just the life like we get it.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, okay, the Brood are what we think they are.
- 11:13Speaker 2: They are what we thought they were. You know, they
- 11:15Speaker 2: are alien race.
- 11:17Speaker 3: That Chris Claremont, the you know, original or not, you know,
- 11:21Speaker 3: the man who wrote all the stuff pretty much that
- 11:23Speaker 3: we know about love about that man.
- 11:25Speaker 2: He must have gone to see alien and came home.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Was like, I want that in the comic book, because
- 11:29Speaker 3: that's pretty much how it went down.
- 11:31Speaker 2: You know.
- 11:31Speaker 3: They debuted a few months after the movie did, and
- 11:35Speaker 3: they're straight up alien ripoffs. Other than the fact that
- 11:37Speaker 3: they talk. They never talked to yeah, well in the comments,
- 11:44Speaker 3: they're definitely intelligent enough where.
- 11:45Speaker 2: They talk, They have a queen.
- 11:47Speaker 3: They fly through space on these giant whales, which is
- 11:51Speaker 3: hilarious and also, you know, just one of those amazing
- 11:54Speaker 3: comic book things, unless you.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Count the fact that when even though they're in Cornelia's body,
- 11:59Speaker 1: Cornelia is speaking.
- 12:00Speaker 3: But that's well, yeah, well there you go. But they
- 12:04Speaker 3: definitely talk in their normal bodies in the comics. But
- 12:06Speaker 3: other than that, they're straight up alien ripoffs. And it's
- 12:10Speaker 3: a you know, slightly different way that they infect you
- 12:12Speaker 3: or they infet you and then you turn into one
- 12:14Speaker 3: of them and set an old face hugger ish. But
- 12:16Speaker 3: other than that, it's straight up and not an alien ripoff.
- 12:19Speaker 3: And I've just never cared too much about them, you know,
- 12:22Speaker 3: whenever these the Brood issues show up, it's like, oh, okay,
- 12:25Speaker 3: well we're gonna do aliens for a cop.
- 12:27Speaker 4: So do they repeatedly show up?
- 12:29Speaker 2: Yes? In the comics, yeah, more more often than not.
- 12:32Speaker 3: In the Krocoa era, there's a character named Brew who
- 12:36Speaker 3: is a mutant of the Brood, And because he's a mutant,
- 12:39Speaker 3: he's not a hive mind. He has his own individual mind,
- 12:43Speaker 3: and he actually has empathy and all these other things
- 12:46Speaker 3: that the Brood do not have. And it became really
- 12:49Speaker 3: controversial when they showed up in the Croa era because
- 12:51Speaker 3: Cyclops wanted to genocide them all, and people were very
- 12:57Speaker 3: much like, yo, would Cyclops say that?
- 12:59Speaker 2: You know?
- 13:00Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know if Psychcloss would say that,
- 13:02Speaker 1: but I mean it's a sentiment.
- 13:05Speaker 3: And that's and that's pretty much what it was. That
- 13:06Speaker 3: they're not like, they have no empathy, none of that.
- 13:09Speaker 4: There's no redeeming value, No.
- 13:11Speaker 3: There's nothing. They are a murderous, genocidal race. Themselves, who
- 13:14Speaker 3: will kill everything in their path.
- 13:17Speaker 4: Exact, He's like, what Nolan's like, all the viltrue mice
- 13:19Speaker 4: gotta die.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's why he was the same with Scott.
- 13:22Speaker 3: He was like, but at least the Viltruemite's been learning.
- 13:24Speaker 3: We've seen that the brood, other than their one mute
- 13:28Speaker 3: and has never learned.
- 13:30Speaker 4: Well, I don't know.
- 13:32Speaker 2: I didn't disagree, just I didn't want to see him
- 13:34Speaker 2: any more comments.
- 13:35Speaker 1: But I mean, like, okay, I'm just trying to figure
- 13:40Speaker 1: out what was the point of this episode, Like in
- 13:43Speaker 1: the Greater X Men ninety seven season two, what was
- 13:47Speaker 1: what was the purpose of this? Was this more like
- 13:50Speaker 1: an Easter egg episode to say, oh, look at this
- 13:53Speaker 1: team and all look at these quote DVDs with all
- 13:56Speaker 1: the names of all these classic catchers, Like, I don't
- 13:58Speaker 1: understand how it fits besides the fact of saying, well,
- 14:02Speaker 1: here's a roundabout way of X of Logan getting his
- 14:05Speaker 1: adamantium back.
- 14:06Speaker 4: Okay, that could have been a footnote.
- 14:09Speaker 2: And and it's all right in the comics. From what
- 14:12Speaker 2: I know.
- 14:12Speaker 3: I'm not one hundred percent on this, so someone correct
- 14:14Speaker 3: me if I'm wrong. But I do know that the
- 14:17Speaker 3: bone Cloth things goes on for a lot longer like
- 14:20Speaker 3: when he.
- 14:20Speaker 4: First gets out, so for a long time.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Yeah, when the admontanium gets removed from him, he becomes
- 14:25Speaker 3: very feral. We learned that the admontanium has been poisoning
- 14:29Speaker 3: him all this time, and so when it doesn't and
- 14:31Speaker 3: when it's not in his body, as meal power kicks
- 14:33Speaker 3: in the overdrive that's making him more like a wolverine
- 14:37Speaker 3: and more federal, et cetera. And then I think I'm
- 14:40Speaker 3: pretty sure on this. He gets the Admontonium back by
- 14:43Speaker 3: becoming a horseman of Apocalypse, like Apocalypse makes him death,
- 14:48Speaker 3: and Apocalypse puts it back in his body using the
- 14:50Speaker 3: select celestial technology. So it's a much more But since
- 14:55Speaker 3: they're not seeming to go with him as one of
- 14:58Speaker 3: the horsemen and ninety seven, because it seems like I think.
- 15:01Speaker 4: They're leaning towards Magneto.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely Magneto and probably Gambit because Gambit was hinted
- 15:06Speaker 3: at heavy in the first season after he got murdered.
- 15:09Speaker 3: So I think Gambit and Magneto are two of the horsemen,
- 15:13Speaker 3: and it doesn't seem like Wolverine would be one. And so,
- 15:16Speaker 3: like we said, they're not centering him so they needed
- 15:18Speaker 3: a way to get stuff back in, so they did this,
- 15:21Speaker 3: and yeah, this just feels, like you said, it's kind
- 15:23Speaker 3: of winning them Easter episodes. You know, it's like, oh,
- 15:26Speaker 3: look they shot it off this and that, because even
- 15:28Speaker 3: the way there was an Easter had shout out to
- 15:32Speaker 3: the X Men two thirty four. When we see Wolverine
- 15:36Speaker 3: standing all, well, not standing, he's kneeling on top of
- 15:39Speaker 3: the Brood and he's turning into a brood and he's
- 15:41Speaker 3: screaming and his claws are out, it's a direct reference
- 15:45Speaker 3: to the cover of X Men two thirty four. I
- 15:48Speaker 3: want to say it is where in that little run
- 15:52Speaker 3: of issues, the Brood had infected a bunch of mutants,
- 15:55Speaker 3: not the X Men, just a bunch of mutants who were,
- 15:57Speaker 3: you know, living normal lives, and so the Brood all
- 16:00Speaker 3: had mutant powers in that you know, little segment. So
- 16:03Speaker 3: it was like one brood could fly, one who was
- 16:05Speaker 3: super strong, et cetera.
- 16:07Speaker 2: And then they tried to infect Wolverine and that's when
- 16:09Speaker 2: you see him halfway turning, but.
- 16:11Speaker 3: His healing power eventually rejects it, and you know, he
- 16:15Speaker 3: turns back.
- 16:16Speaker 4: So he basically saves himself.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Basically yeah, he maasically saves himself in that one.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Yeah, and just another just just side, just a side note.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Ben as good as hell because I'm googling these covers
- 16:26Speaker 1: that he's saying and it's right on the money two
- 16:28Speaker 1: thirty four, Like, well, yeah.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Because I had the note but I thought I put
- 16:32Speaker 3: it in there, but I guess I didn't be it.
- 16:33Speaker 1: But just the fact that you could just pull that,
- 16:35Speaker 1: like just like when people try to play about your
- 16:37Speaker 1: comic book knowledge, I'm just like, no, this niggas nice.
- 16:40Speaker 3: So it's like and it's funny because I tell you
- 16:42Speaker 3: everything around it too. Like that's when the X Men
- 16:44Speaker 3: went bi weekly for the summer. You know, they were
- 16:47Speaker 3: normally they're a monthly comic book, but they were popping
- 16:49Speaker 3: so much that they were bi weekly.
- 16:50Speaker 2: That cover's done by Mark Silvestri.
- 16:53Speaker 3: I think, who becomes one of the superstars at Image
- 16:56Speaker 3: and that's when he first starts popping off doing X Men.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Yeah, man, you know your shit, You know your shit.
- 17:04Speaker 4: One thing.
- 17:06Speaker 1: I did think of one thing that was actually really
- 17:10Speaker 1: actually good about this episode, Like when I asked what
- 17:13Speaker 1: was the point, I'm just kind of giving you more
- 17:16Speaker 1: about morph Like, especially if you're a Morph fan, and
- 17:18Speaker 1: kind of going more into his psyche and what his
- 17:21Speaker 1: motivations are and what drives him and what Lady death
- 17:25Speaker 1: Strike says to him and says about him, consistently calling
- 17:29Speaker 1: him Tomo right, And at first I was like him,
- 17:31Speaker 1: I was like, who the hell is Tomo?
- 17:33Speaker 3: Right?
- 17:33Speaker 1: And she explains in Japanese folk lored that's a fox
- 17:36Speaker 1: spirit deeming like a shape shift that's like fiercely loyal
- 17:40Speaker 1: to this samurai, to their jetriment, because she said it
- 17:44Speaker 1: doesn't end well for Tomo, and she makes that metaphor
- 17:49Speaker 1: on Morph, and you know, and it's supposed to be
- 17:53Speaker 1: like descriptive of Morph's kind of direct loyalty to Wolverine
- 17:58Speaker 1: despite everything else happening around him. Like you know, Morph
- 18:01Speaker 1: obviously almost died several times this episode and gets into
- 18:05Speaker 1: these situations where it's just like at the last second
- 18:09Speaker 1: he makes it out, but it's like out of that,
- 18:11Speaker 1: Like when you look at the cast of people who
- 18:13Speaker 1: decided to agree to go with Logan, everyone kind of
- 18:17Speaker 1: makes sense in particular ways, except for Morph, besides the fact.
- 18:21Speaker 4: That he's fiercely loyal to Logan.
- 18:24Speaker 1: I just so I did like that they touched at
- 18:27Speaker 1: least touched upon that, and just like, you know, it
- 18:31Speaker 1: makes you also question, as mentioned, the motivations, the depth
- 18:35Speaker 1: of the friendship, like why he would do this, and
- 18:37Speaker 1: also when it came to be that we realized, oh,
- 18:41Speaker 1: Logan was lying. His whole point was to go get
- 18:43Speaker 1: the adamantium back, and even Morph was like, not even
- 18:48Speaker 1: really believe in it, you know, even though all of
- 18:50Speaker 1: the the truth is right in front of you, he
- 18:52Speaker 1: was kind of like, oh, like, you know, he didn't
- 18:55Speaker 1: want to he didn't want to believe that he was
- 18:56Speaker 1: just being used basically, So I thought, I thought that
- 19:00Speaker 1: was good that they made mention of that. And then
- 19:02Speaker 1: when I was one more thing when I was looking
- 19:04Speaker 1: at sun that wasn't the first time apparently that Tomo
- 19:07Speaker 1: was mentioned. This is there's actually a Tomo character in
- 19:11Speaker 1: the comics where I was laughing at the description because
- 19:14Speaker 1: they show him as fiercely anti American and the uncle
- 19:20Speaker 1: of shiros Yoshida, who was also known as Fire. Again,
- 19:23Speaker 1: I don't know these characters, but when I just read
- 19:25Speaker 1: that description, I just laughed.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Though that was quick shout to Sunfire, who is one
- 19:32Speaker 3: of the original New X Men. Like the post on
- 19:35Speaker 3: my wall. He came in when he losses Wolverine. Oh,
- 19:39Speaker 3: the rest of them Storm Nightcrawler, when they all joined
- 19:41Speaker 3: the team, Sunfire was there.
- 19:43Speaker 2: He joins the team.
- 19:44Speaker 3: Oh, he lasked, I think two issues before he's like,
- 19:47Speaker 3: your professor, fuck yourself, I'm Japanese on.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Fuck you American weird.
- 19:53Speaker 3: I'm out back to Japan and flies off and it's
- 19:56Speaker 3: out and occasionally shows up and caaz with Edgeman. But
- 20:02Speaker 3: for the most part, just like that bounced back to Japan,
- 20:05Speaker 3: was you know, not seen in US.
- 20:06Speaker 2: They were in Japan.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's like Tomo's sister and all their civilians
- 20:11Speaker 1: was killed in the Hiroshima So that that drove the
- 20:15Speaker 1: hate and.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I understand, yeah, I mean we go yeah, yea.
- 20:19Speaker 3: I think some Fire is like he's one of the
- 20:21Speaker 3: mutant where they say, you know it's the Hiroshima bombing
- 20:23Speaker 3: that directly influences you know, his DNA and becoming Yeah,
- 20:28Speaker 3: you know Sunfire.
- 20:29Speaker 1: So absolutely absolutely, but yeah, just just that whole conversation
- 20:35Speaker 1: on morph uh and then you see morph through cool
- 20:37Speaker 1: things like he turned he morphed into Deadpool, the things
- 20:42Speaker 1: Spider Man, Jean Gray.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Yeah, he morphs into Puck. It's a lot of Alpha
- 20:48Speaker 3: Flight characters. Alpha Flight is a team of Canadian superheroes
- 20:53Speaker 3: and they have a lot of ties to Wolverine. Wolverine
- 20:55Speaker 3: was a member of them. They're funded by the Weapon
- 20:58Speaker 3: X program at time, and so there's a lot of
- 21:02Speaker 3: Alpha characters because you know, I think that they're supposed
- 21:05Speaker 3: to be in the North, you know regions up in here.
- 21:07Speaker 3: So we do see Puck, who is he's actually a
- 21:10Speaker 3: tall dude who's been cursed. They it was really I
- 21:13Speaker 3: hated that when they put that into him. But Puck's
- 21:15Speaker 3: a little man who dresses up in a black costume
- 21:19Speaker 3: like a hockey puck and bounces around. So that's who
- 21:23Speaker 3: that's who he saw him first as we see him
- 21:26Speaker 3: turn into the.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Puck like you know, like the local analogous to Loki.
- 21:30Speaker 4: Not a hockey.
- 21:32Speaker 1: I think, man, he has a giant on just because
- 21:38Speaker 1: he's a hockey puck.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Google this man. He has a giant pea on his
- 21:42Speaker 3: chest the top it off. And as a kid, I
- 21:44Speaker 3: thought he was awesome, you know what I mean. It
- 21:46Speaker 3: just did not occur to me how ridiculous it would
- 21:48Speaker 3: be due to be bouncing around.
- 21:53Speaker 4: Stupid. I didn't know you meant it like literally, like.
- 22:00Speaker 2: He would bounce around like and knock people out somehow.
- 22:03Speaker 1: You know.
- 22:03Speaker 2: It's like, you know, he has no superpowers.
- 22:06Speaker 3: It's like Judo and ship something I guess, I don't know,
- 22:08Speaker 3: but he's like in the comics.
- 22:09Speaker 2: You know, he's like flying across the room.
- 22:11Speaker 1: You know, see this the writers play all day the writer,
- 22:15Speaker 1: because why would you choose that specific character to morph
- 22:19Speaker 1: have morph change into like everybody else?
- 22:21Speaker 4: I got everybody of school, Silvi Samurai.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Al Right, Beck, fuck, it's a shout out the Alpha
- 22:28Speaker 3: Flight you gotta do fuck. Because there's also sas Fraut,
- 22:31Speaker 3: who is that big orange third thing that he turns
- 22:34Speaker 3: into when he's fighting the polar Bear.
- 22:38Speaker 2: So that's yeah.
- 22:40Speaker 3: We also see Guardian, who is He's the man who
- 22:43Speaker 3: is wearing the Canadian flag of red and white, and
- 22:47Speaker 3: Guardian is like the Captain America of Alpha Flight and
- 22:51Speaker 3: of Canada America of Canada America Canada and the Captain
- 22:57Speaker 3: Manitoba and real quick Guardian when people like on Fallen
- 23:03Speaker 3: Nerthy out of that question, what character's death affected you most?
- 23:06Speaker 3: Guardian is it for me? Like Guardian's death and Alpha Flight?
- 23:10Speaker 3: I want to say thirteen. I think that's one that's
- 23:12Speaker 3: burned into my memory is one of the most It's
- 23:16Speaker 3: it's fucking incredibly done. Like, he gets into this fight
- 23:19Speaker 3: with the villain. He beats the villain, but he's wearing
- 23:21Speaker 3: a battlesuit, and his battlesuit is hardly damaged. So he's
- 23:24Speaker 3: sitting there like and you're seeing his thoughts and he's like, Okay,
- 23:27Speaker 3: I gotta take this power pack out because this thing's
- 23:30Speaker 3: going to override and its flowed. So he's like, I've got,
- 23:33Speaker 3: you know, probably about fifteen seconds to do this, he says,
- 23:35Speaker 3: And then the next page is a panel by panel countdown,
- 23:38Speaker 3: like each panels is a number, like it's.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Twelve, eleven, ten, nine, eight, And.
- 23:44Speaker 3: He's sitting there slowly taking it out, getting it all done,
- 23:47Speaker 3: and then his wife, who doesn't know about this, walks
- 23:50Speaker 3: into the room.
- 23:50Speaker 2: She doesn't know anything that, you know.
- 23:52Speaker 3: She she was trapping another place at the time, and
- 23:54Speaker 3: she walks in the room and sees him, and so
- 23:56Speaker 3: to save her, he turns away, you know, and the
- 24:00Speaker 3: blast blows up and he gets killed, and she like
- 24:04Speaker 3: basically just walks in and sees her man, you know,
- 24:07Speaker 3: dying in explosion and doesn't know what happened. And then
- 24:09Speaker 3: it's like the last paper is her saying his name
- 24:12Speaker 3: and it's just smoke.
- 24:13Speaker 2: On the ground and it.
- 24:16Speaker 3: And it crushed me because I loved Marion and it
- 24:20Speaker 3: was one of those things where I didn't expect it.
- 24:22Speaker 2: I had no idea, and that.
- 24:25Speaker 4: Was like, so what that was like a that was
- 24:27Speaker 4: a suicide.
- 24:29Speaker 3: No, he's trying to save her because he knows, you know,
- 24:33Speaker 3: the thing's about to go off, and because and it's
- 24:35Speaker 3: it's one of the fucking things where she lived with
- 24:37Speaker 3: the guilt because if if she hadn't walked in and
- 24:39Speaker 3: distracted him, he would have been able to fix it
- 24:41Speaker 3: and stop it. But her walking in, you know, and
- 24:45Speaker 3: so he has to save her. So he's like you know,
- 24:47Speaker 3: basically jumps on it instead of getting rid of it
- 24:51Speaker 3: and being you.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Know, you can say sorry, that's why I got.
- 24:55Speaker 3: If it's his suit that's overheated. God, he wears a
- 24:58Speaker 3: cyberneted suit to give him her powers, and part of it,
- 25:01Speaker 3: you know, he's like an Iron Man type character, and
- 25:04Speaker 3: so a part of it's overheating. So he's trying to
- 25:06Speaker 3: fix it, and like you said, it's like the ill shit.
- 25:09Speaker 3: How they did the panels is John Byrne, writer artist,
- 25:11Speaker 3: and it's like ten nine eight, you know, every panel
- 25:15Speaker 3: is a number and it's and then she walks in
- 25:18Speaker 3: and he's like Heather, you know, and turns away from
- 25:19Speaker 3: her and then boom, and it's like, yeah, so Guardian,
- 25:25Speaker 3: I love one. My love seeing him. But it also
- 25:27Speaker 3: just brings me back every time being a little.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Kid like fuck.
- 25:32Speaker 1: I like when morph changed it to psychops. That was
- 25:34Speaker 1: funny because she was because they were like, you gotta chack.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Like I was like, oh, he's gonna choose Scott, and
- 25:39Speaker 1: here comes his dickhead walking in talking about Geane's gonna
- 25:43Speaker 1: be mad if you don't.
- 25:44Speaker 4: Come back chest And I loved it because I know you.
- 25:48Speaker 2: It was like it was a Scott that you.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Think of, Scott the cornball sucker, you know, smooches with
- 25:55Speaker 3: Jeane at night.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Like I was crying because I was like, first of all,
- 26:00Speaker 1: this is the this is what I remember and why
- 26:03Speaker 1: I never liked that guy.
- 26:04Speaker 4: But again, it.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Was just a comedic approach to try to get Wolverene
- 26:10Speaker 1: to come out from whatever the fuck he was hiding.
- 26:13Speaker 2: No, that was hilarious.
- 26:15Speaker 3: I will say that Morph is always great and one thing,
- 26:20Speaker 3: like you were talking about how you know his trauma
- 26:22Speaker 3: and everything, and I really just want them to get
- 26:24Speaker 3: past where they stopped showing that intro where Sinister is
- 26:28Speaker 3: chasing him down.
- 26:29Speaker 1: And he mentioned it too, He was like when Cinastrew,
- 26:33Speaker 1: you know, has hold on me.
- 26:35Speaker 4: I was like, didn't we did we talk about this already?
- 26:37Speaker 2: Or yes we have?
- 26:38Speaker 3: And like, I get it, it's still his trauma and
- 26:40Speaker 3: he's still going through it. But I wanted That's what
- 26:42Speaker 3: I'm saying. I want to see that growth for more
- 26:44Speaker 3: overcomes that, and we don't see that in the intro anymore,
- 26:47Speaker 3: you know, where that's no longer where he I don't
- 26:49Speaker 3: think that's going to happen this season or even for
- 26:52Speaker 3: a couple of seasons. But Morph just needs a different,
- 26:54Speaker 3: you know scene that happen in the intro, maybe where
- 26:56Speaker 3: he's you know, caring for Wolverine, you know, where they're
- 26:58Speaker 3: on a date together.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Who knows any thing, but.
- 27:01Speaker 4: Not this did you take one on a date with Wolverine?
- 27:04Speaker 2: Yeah? I did say that.
- 27:05Speaker 4: Okay, that's what I was like, that would don't make sense.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean that's I mean, that's happening off screen
- 27:11Speaker 3: whether or not we see.
- 27:12Speaker 4: It, right.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Yeah, besides that, I kind of was like, can we
- 27:18Speaker 1: get back to the apocalyp storyline, Like we just saw
- 27:25Speaker 1: Magneto defeat a black hole, we saw Storm pull solar
- 27:32Speaker 1: winds and flares, Like I want to go back over there.
- 27:38Speaker 1: So I you know, I'm sorry people don't agree with me.
- 27:41Speaker 1: It's just like I just I just wasn't really feeling
- 27:44Speaker 1: this episode like.
- 27:45Speaker 3: That, and I think this would be really interesting because
- 27:47Speaker 3: I think because of that, people are you know, like
- 27:49Speaker 3: the Wolverine fans are gonna be feeling sad and they're
- 27:51Speaker 3: gonna be happy about this, I think.
- 27:53Speaker 2: The rest of us.
- 27:55Speaker 4: But it's just like, Okay, I.
- 27:57Speaker 3: Love Wolverine to a point, you know, like like I've
- 28:00Speaker 3: loved Wolvering, you know, in my time. But Wouvering's one
- 28:03Speaker 3: of those characters like the Punisher, like Lobo, you know,
- 28:09Speaker 3: I mean, Lobo is actually, you know, a supposed to be.
- 28:12Speaker 2: A parody of Wolverine.
- 28:15Speaker 3: And yeah, that's why his hair, his healing factor, you know,
- 28:20Speaker 3: his wildness. He's a parody of a lot of characters,
- 28:23Speaker 3: but Wolverine is one of the main ones because Lobo
- 28:26Speaker 3: comes out at the time when Wolverine, Punisher, all these
- 28:29Speaker 3: different anti heroes the nineties extreme were even characters who
- 28:33Speaker 3: weren't extreme. You know, everybody started wearing leather jackets or
- 28:37Speaker 3: you know, they had mullets, they got all the pouches,
- 28:40Speaker 3: everyone got guns now. You know, it was just how
- 28:43Speaker 3: the nineties were, And so Lobo was a straight up
- 28:46Speaker 3: of down parody. He was done by this stry Keith Giffen,
- 28:49Speaker 3: who was writing Justice League at the time and was
- 28:52Speaker 3: doing like a really comedic type Justice League, and so
- 28:55Speaker 3: he made Lobo as a joke, straight up and down
- 28:58Speaker 3: as a joke. You know, Lobo comes from a planet
- 29:00Speaker 3: where he's killed everyone else on the planet, like you know,
- 29:04Speaker 3: it's it's it's you know, it's parody, you know, like
- 29:07Speaker 3: he you cannot hurt him because everyone. No, no, this
- 29:11Speaker 3: is just where it gets even more ridiculous. This is
- 29:13Speaker 3: his original power. Every drop of blood he ever shed
- 29:17Speaker 3: would grow into another Lobo. Oh hell no, it was silliness,
- 29:22Speaker 3: you know. It was just like over the top, greme silliness.
- 29:26Speaker 3: But it caught on like wildfire. People did not get
- 29:29Speaker 3: the joke, and so Lobo then becomes the mainstream character
- 29:32Speaker 3: for the next forty years, right, and that was just
- 29:36Speaker 3: the nineties. You know, Cable, the whole team we see today, Maverick,
- 29:40Speaker 3: all these guys came up in the nineties. Saber Tooth
- 29:43Speaker 3: used to be this tiny little dude like saber Tooth.
- 29:45Speaker 1: But that was like the big Hulk and it all
- 29:48Speaker 1: is like, well, it was called WWF at the time,
- 29:51Speaker 1: but imagine the wrestling and that.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Yes, definitely, it's all it's the nineties and that's how
- 29:56Speaker 3: the saber Tooth used to be a slim dude who
- 29:58Speaker 3: was like he was taller than moving but he was
- 30:01Speaker 3: not this fucking hulk size dude that we see. It
- 30:04Speaker 3: wasn't no, and that's just how the nineties became.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Everyone was like that.
- 30:09Speaker 4: And ye I will say.
- 30:11Speaker 1: You know, like you said this this episode will feed
- 30:13Speaker 1: Wolverine fans. Congratulations, you got your short king. Like you know,
- 30:18Speaker 1: that was also about his heigh, Like, okay, seeing.
- 30:22Speaker 2: The height difference is so hilarious.
- 30:24Speaker 1: But they were on the elevator and then you said
- 30:27Speaker 1: wolver was terrible posture and little compact that he is
- 30:31Speaker 1: the pantom Yeah, I.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Also love hearing Savid.
- 30:34Speaker 3: You mentioned that he's over two hundred years old, yes,
- 30:37Speaker 3: because Wolverine is also that around that age, correct, And
- 30:42Speaker 3: that goes back to my thing about him and morph
- 30:43Speaker 3: being on dates, because if you've been over two hundred
- 30:45Speaker 3: years old fan.
- 30:46Speaker 2: You're going to fuck everything like Wolverine is.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Definitely you've had experiences all all over the spectrum.
- 30:53Speaker 3: My man has done it all, you know, Geezy, I've
- 30:55Speaker 3: seen it all, seen it all.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Speaking in the nineties.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Like I said, I wanted to shout out some of
- 31:06Speaker 3: those names that were on those discs because I love
- 31:08Speaker 3: some of them. Once again, we have Aurora. Aurora is
- 31:11Speaker 3: another member of Alpha Flight. Her and her twin brother
- 31:15Speaker 3: north Star are speedsters who can when they can generate
- 31:19Speaker 3: light because you know, they're Aurora in north Star and
- 31:21Speaker 3: they're like super fast, they could fly.
- 31:23Speaker 2: I love them both. But yeah, really dope characters.
- 31:25Speaker 3: I love Man and like north Star was one of
- 31:28Speaker 3: the first openly gay characters in Marvel. When he came
- 31:32Speaker 3: out in the comments, it was a huge thing, like
- 31:34Speaker 3: it was a newsweek.
- 31:35Speaker 2: And all that other shit. It was was wild. Yeah,
- 31:38Speaker 2: So north Star and Aurora.
- 31:40Speaker 3: There's also Ajax, who is another member of this team
- 31:44Speaker 3: that we see this episode.
- 31:46Speaker 2: It's twenty three.
- 31:47Speaker 4: We all know three. I don't want to sold you them.
- 31:50Speaker 4: Two was it? I was just like, I don't know
- 31:52Speaker 4: that man.
- 31:53Speaker 3: For the rest of them, all right, the rest that
- 31:55Speaker 3: I taught with silver Fox. Silver Fox is another member
- 31:58Speaker 3: of this team, and she's been in the animated series
- 32:00Speaker 3: a few times. She's Wolverine's love her from the past,
- 32:04Speaker 3: but it's debatable whether or not their relationship ever happened,
- 32:08Speaker 3: because it might just all be memory implants. I think
- 32:10Speaker 3: the last time we see her that when I was
- 32:13Speaker 3: rewatching it, the last time I saw her at least,
- 32:15Speaker 3: is Wolverine is trying to convince her and she's a nigga. Please,
- 32:19Speaker 3: All that was implants and leaves this nigga standing.
- 32:21Speaker 2: There like it was cold.
- 32:24Speaker 3: That that that old show, bro, that old show was
- 32:29Speaker 3: not playing like it was cold sometimes. So yeah, Winter
- 32:33Speaker 3: Soldier Masdon, who is like his name, a big giant dude.
- 32:36Speaker 3: He was one of Cables Wild Pack and also what
- 32:40Speaker 3: a weapon X Cyborg no idea fantom X one of
- 32:43Speaker 3: my favorite characters. He's not nineties, He's from the two thousands.
- 32:47Speaker 3: He was created by Grant Morrison. He is just super weird.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Just Google and look up Fantom X. I cannot begin
- 32:54Speaker 3: to tell you everything about him except that at one
- 32:56Speaker 3: point Charles Xavier ends up in his body.
- 32:59Speaker 2: That's a during the Corocoa era.
- 33:01Speaker 1: You said you don't know who Cyborg is, no idea,
- 33:04Speaker 1: I just me neither, but I google real quick name
- 33:07Speaker 1: is Aldo. Pharaoh bargain with the WEAPONEX program, developing memory
- 33:11Speaker 1: implants for the problems of their anti agent factor. But
- 33:15Speaker 1: the project we nicked on the deal, and the aging
- 33:18Speaker 1: Pharaoh was left to depend on his cybernetics.
- 33:20Speaker 4: To stay alive.
- 33:22Speaker 1: So it's basically a cybord I e this on the
- 33:28Speaker 1: Those names are really pissing me off, but this.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Is the nineties.
- 33:31Speaker 3: Fam Worm and Slugo were two random ass characters. I
- 33:35Speaker 3: didn't even know they were ever connected to the weapon.
- 33:37Speaker 3: That's y'all have to put me onto that one. I
- 33:40Speaker 3: have no idea. Kestrol Agent zero. Not sure about either
- 33:44Speaker 3: of those. But Maggot. Maggot is the bluestin dude who
- 33:47Speaker 3: we see being infected.
- 33:49Speaker 2: By the brood that hurt. Maggot is one of the
- 33:52Speaker 2: few black characters in common Black.
- 33:55Speaker 3: Yeah, he's black Maggiet though, look, man, can all you
- 34:00Speaker 3: know can't all be winners. And his muven power is
- 34:04Speaker 3: to have these two giant like Maggot slugs like emerged
- 34:09Speaker 3: from his body and they can eat things and stuff.
- 34:11Speaker 3: Once again, it was the nineties, you know, it was
- 34:15Speaker 3: super weird, didn't make much sense for fuck it. And yeah,
- 34:20Speaker 3: it looks like he died, so that that kind of hurt,
- 34:23Speaker 3: you know, yeah, because it did not look like it
- 34:26Speaker 3: endo well for Maggot in that one, and.
- 34:28Speaker 4: This shit is wild. We had I mean we oh.
- 34:30Speaker 3: Man, Yeah that hurts because like a lot of people
- 34:32Speaker 3: are big fans of Maggot too, So I know that's
- 34:34Speaker 3: gonna you know, that's gonna hurt the people out there
- 34:36Speaker 3: because like you know, it's like, you know, if you
- 34:38Speaker 3: came up during that era, Maggot was big.
- 34:40Speaker 4: So all right, wow with that name, but okay, I.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Know with that name at all.
- 34:45Speaker 3: But like during the like late nineties, yeah, Maggot was
- 34:48Speaker 3: like a prime member of the X Men fam Like
- 34:50Speaker 3: I was not reading comics at that time, but I know.
- 34:52Speaker 2: Of him through you know, just knowing.
- 34:54Speaker 3: And yeah, so I know a lot of people, you know,
- 34:56Speaker 3: because I know people were looking for Maggot and here
- 34:59Speaker 3: he is and ghosted.
- 35:00Speaker 1: It's funny depending on how he's drunks. I'm looking at pictures.
- 35:04Speaker 1: He kind of reminds you of and Guardians of the
- 35:06Speaker 1: Galaxy because he has that Yeah, it's like what was.
- 35:13Speaker 4: Homeboys quote Mother and Father.
- 35:16Speaker 1: I ain't your Poppy, ain't your daddy?
- 35:21Speaker 4: Kind of gives me that vibe.
- 35:22Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, well he's blue guy, like white hair instead
- 35:25Speaker 3: of the red.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:27Speaker 3: I think his maggots and they eat stuff give him
- 35:29Speaker 3: like super straights or something.
- 35:31Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 35:32Speaker 3: I always found him really like weird, like you know,
- 35:34Speaker 3: why would you have maggots?
- 35:35Speaker 2: But whatever, you know, cool, I guess.
- 35:38Speaker 3: But like I said, I know he is a lot
- 35:40Speaker 3: of people's you know, it's just like that thing, like
- 35:42Speaker 3: I love phantom Ets and Phantom Metic is a super
- 35:44Speaker 3: weird character to some people, like what, but you know,
- 35:46Speaker 3: he's one of my favorites. Like, dude, there's like two
- 35:48Speaker 3: brains and one of them is outside of him in
- 35:50Speaker 3: a ship. He's always lying about everything. Phantom Met's just amazing, Like,
- 35:54Speaker 3: you know, he's so great.
- 35:56Speaker 4: And I was referring to Yandu. I just couldn't remember
- 35:58Speaker 4: his name.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Yes, Jon Dou, Yeah, I couldn't.
- 36:00Speaker 3: So that was all the names on that we deveut
- 36:03Speaker 3: everybody that uh morph changed into anything else.
- 36:09Speaker 4: What I means it wasn't much to talk about.
- 36:11Speaker 3: Yeah, it was like it was just like I said,
- 36:15Speaker 3: I felt like it was speed running through the Bone
- 36:17Speaker 3: Claws storyline. There was a lot of little cool easter eggs,
- 36:20Speaker 3: you know, like we said, saber Tooth being two hundred,
- 36:23Speaker 3: them shouting out his furry suit.
- 36:26Speaker 1: They led over the Lady death Strike relationship, Yeah they did.
- 36:31Speaker 3: You know that quick mentioned they used to date and
- 36:34Speaker 3: that was pretty much end of that. You know, I
- 36:37Speaker 3: really loved that Strike. She's a really cool character who
- 36:40Speaker 3: she didn't always have that cybernetic and the bone She.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Didn't have bone claws any of that.
- 36:46Speaker 4: She just got rolled the long well and the thing
- 36:49Speaker 4: it looks like fingers but it nails.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Well, they're like cybernetic weird shit.
- 36:53Speaker 3: Because Death Strike does not get her stuff from the
- 36:55Speaker 3: weapon's program, even though she talks about in this episode
- 36:58Speaker 3: how her father was one of the scientists behind it
- 37:01Speaker 3: and the comics, death Strike is a regular woman who
- 37:05Speaker 3: she tries to get a wolverine, you know, tries to
- 37:07Speaker 3: kill him and stuff, gets beat by him, obviously, and
- 37:09Speaker 3: then goes to Mojo and Spiral, and Mojo Spiral transformed
- 37:16Speaker 3: her and these other dudes who were really fucked up
- 37:19Speaker 3: by Wolverine into the cydeboards they are. But they made
- 37:22Speaker 3: Death Strike much more like the other dudes are the cyboards,
- 37:25Speaker 3: you know, with big guns and stuff. But they made
- 37:27Speaker 3: Death Strike where she has these claws that can extend
- 37:31Speaker 3: and all this other type of shit. And she first
- 37:34Speaker 3: got this in an issue drawn by Bill Windsor Smith,
- 37:37Speaker 3: who is a legendary and one of those guys who
- 37:41Speaker 3: very abstract and very weird art.
- 37:43Speaker 2: So Death Strike was all.
- 37:45Speaker 3: Man, it was beautiful the first time she showed up,
- 37:47Speaker 3: like just absolutely beautiful.
- 37:49Speaker 2: In her fight with Wolverine.
- 37:50Speaker 1: At first time was like she was on They showed
- 37:54Speaker 1: her like in the original like X Men, Fox Live
- 37:59Speaker 1: Action they had.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Yes, yeah they have lady, that's right, Yes they do, yep.
- 38:03Speaker 1: And did they show her again like in Deadpool like later,
- 38:06Speaker 1: you know, the Deadpool and Wolverine movie.
- 38:08Speaker 2: But she does show up in that, right, yeah, I
- 38:11Speaker 2: think so.
- 38:12Speaker 3: But in none of these have they ever really gone
- 38:14Speaker 3: into her whole storyline and why she's so dope and
- 38:17Speaker 3: her relationship with Wolverine and how they go back, and
- 38:20Speaker 3: it's this whole love hate thing and you know, all
- 38:23Speaker 3: that because she feels that her father's work was stolen
- 38:26Speaker 3: and used for Wolverine, and so she's always trying to
- 38:29Speaker 3: get his metal back out of him because she wants
- 38:32Speaker 3: you know, she's like, no, this is you know that.
- 38:34Speaker 4: Belongs to my father.
- 38:35Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, okay.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Got just felt like I was like, I'm sure we
- 38:39Speaker 1: saw her in live action a couple of times.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Yeah, Urrico, Yeah, that's try. It's such a dope character,
- 38:44Speaker 3: and she just barely got me shineing this. You know,
- 38:46Speaker 3: I really like the stuff with her and Morpho.
- 38:49Speaker 2: That was really well done. So I did give him back,
- 38:51Speaker 2: you know.
- 38:52Speaker 4: I think that's where just kind of close out.
- 38:54Speaker 1: That's where to me X Men ninety seven shines the
- 38:57Speaker 1: most when it does give a chance to give you
- 39:01Speaker 1: some not just backstory, but some context and color into
- 39:04Speaker 1: motivations and desires and.
- 39:07Speaker 4: Depth of characters.
- 39:08Speaker 1: So that's why I really, as you said, like that
- 39:11Speaker 1: was the most important, at least for me, that was
- 39:13Speaker 1: the most important thing in this episode to at least
- 39:15Speaker 1: have that conversation, even though it was a short conversation,
- 39:18Speaker 1: to open that door and when you and that's part
- 39:22Speaker 1: and the reason why I feel like that's so important
- 39:23Speaker 1: is because again that just reminds me of watching as
- 39:26Speaker 1: a child, like you're dealing with a lot of heavy
- 39:28Speaker 1: subjects and you don't realize it until you're older. But
- 39:32Speaker 1: they they really give you a gateway to deal with
- 39:37Speaker 1: heavy subjects that maybe you would not have understood otherwise,
- 39:40Speaker 1: right through the power of animation, right through the power
- 39:43Speaker 1: of cartoon, just cartoon characters when they're a bit more
- 39:47Speaker 1: than that. So I think that's one of the reasons
- 39:49Speaker 1: why X Men X Men in general shine so well.
- 39:53Speaker 1: And then you know, for the obvious allegories and analogies
- 39:57Speaker 1: about life and all sorts of things, but but specifically
- 40:01Speaker 1: to like X ninety seven, I think that's where it's
- 40:02Speaker 1: at it strong as when you get that the the
- 40:05Speaker 1: individual storylines, and then when you couple that with the
- 40:09Speaker 1: fantastic animation and the great writing typically the great writing,
- 40:13Speaker 1: that's where you get the strongest viewpoint.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's the thing.
- 40:18Speaker 3: Even in this episode, which wasn't our favorite of the season,
- 40:20Speaker 3: and I think it's more so because we are just
- 40:22Speaker 3: so and probably everyone out there is so hyped. See
- 40:25Speaker 3: what happens when the edge Men get back to the present.
- 40:28Speaker 4: Yeah, we're kind.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Of like, oh, okay, this is cool, but let's get
- 40:31Speaker 2: back to it.
- 40:31Speaker 3: But that's also, you know, on their part, good storytelling,
- 40:35Speaker 3: because it's given you that break where it's making you
- 40:37Speaker 3: wait and making you like, okay, let's you know, we
- 40:40Speaker 3: got to pause after that. You know, Mannito just got eliminated. Yeah, yeah, like,
- 40:45Speaker 3: let's give a reset for a second. You know, Okay,
- 40:48Speaker 3: just drove to some straight action adventure with some jokes
- 40:51Speaker 3: and everything, and we're also resolving you know, some characters
- 40:55Speaker 3: like Morph and then give them some shine, the Morph
- 40:58Speaker 3: who definitely needs it. So you know, like while it's
- 41:01Speaker 3: not our favorite, it's still a very solid episode. And
- 41:05Speaker 3: that's one of my closing themes is that someone made
- 41:08Speaker 3: this point recently and it really was like it hit me,
- 41:10Speaker 3: like damn, because Invincible is really lacking because of this.
- 41:16Speaker 3: Like Invincible the animated series is so slavishly devoted to
- 41:22Speaker 3: the comics where it's like, Okay, we're gonna tell the
- 41:24Speaker 3: same exact story with perhaps a little embellishment, but that's it.
- 41:29Speaker 3: We are not going to pretty much, at least so far,
- 41:32Speaker 3: and the coming season of need is to be a
- 41:34Speaker 3: big test of that, because Debbie's relationship with Nolan should
- 41:38Speaker 3: not recover the way it does in the comics.
- 41:40Speaker 2: It's some bullshit, And.
- 41:42Speaker 3: So I hope, I pray that they are watching X
- 41:47Speaker 3: Men and being like, maybe we can just do it
- 41:49Speaker 3: a little differently, because that's what's making so great, because,
- 41:52Speaker 3: like I said, even though this isn't how the brood
- 41:55Speaker 3: and the mutant story went on when they showed Wolverine
- 41:58Speaker 3: in at you Know X Men two thirty four.
- 42:00Speaker 2: It's still just a dope brood you know you and storyline.
- 42:05Speaker 3: It's not the same way that Will Ring got his
- 42:07Speaker 3: claws back in the comics. But that's for the best
- 42:12Speaker 3: because I don't want to see the exact same thing,
- 42:15Speaker 3: even with the embellishment that I've already read and that
- 42:18Speaker 3: anyone can read, you don't need to do that, and
- 42:21Speaker 3: that is something like this is probably its whole the
- 42:24Speaker 3: video because it's there's an issue with that, like a
- 42:28Speaker 3: lot of people will be like, no, I want it
- 42:29Speaker 3: to be just like that, and it's like, bru, it's
- 42:32Speaker 3: never going to be as good as that first time
- 42:34Speaker 3: you read the comic, or the second time or the
- 42:37Speaker 3: third time or the fourth or fifth time.
- 42:39Speaker 2: It's never going to because your imagination.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Comics are completely different medium, and that's the point, and
- 42:45Speaker 3: so different medium should have different versions of the story.
- 42:49Speaker 3: You shouldn't just be like, let's just retell it completely
- 42:52Speaker 3: the same way. And that's what's so dope about this
- 42:54Speaker 3: because as someone who's read all these traums, I still
- 42:57Speaker 3: don't know what the hell is going to happen, Like
- 42:59Speaker 3: I think Madnito is gonna be the Horseman, but that
- 43:03Speaker 3: hasn't really happened.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Like that.
- 43:04Speaker 4: They could do anything, Yeah, they could do anything.
- 43:06Speaker 2: He could just be dead. I doubt it, but you know.
- 43:10Speaker 3: That was that was one please comments like he's dead,
- 43:14Speaker 3: what are you talking about?
- 43:15Speaker 4: And like what are you talking about? Did you see
- 43:17Speaker 4: did you see him?
- 43:19Speaker 3: I like made several points like we never see Apocalypse's
- 43:22Speaker 3: arm turn into that specific variation of that gun, like
- 43:25Speaker 3: that's the big tail, you know, you never see that one.
- 43:29Speaker 3: And it's the fact that it's Magnito and he's already
- 43:31Speaker 3: been bodied in the first season, you know what It's like, Yeah,
- 43:35Speaker 3: they're not going to just dead him again and be like,
- 43:38Speaker 3: oh this time it boy's real. No, he's coming bad
- 43:41Speaker 3: folks like you know, and it's also Magnito, who, if
- 43:46Speaker 3: you read the comments, once again dies over and over again.
- 43:50Speaker 2: But until you see a body, he's never dead.
- 43:52Speaker 4: Agreed.
- 43:53Speaker 1: And at the end of the day, he defeated a
- 43:55Speaker 1: black hole, he defeated the absence of life light.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Yeah, defeated he gonna be all right, So yeah we are.
- 44:08Speaker 3: Let's see, this is episode five now, so we're halfway
- 44:12Speaker 3: through the season. We got five more or six, seven, eight, nine, ten, Yeah,
- 44:17Speaker 3: five more episodes?
- 44:20Speaker 4: Hm, hmmm mmm we halfway?
- 44:23Speaker 2: Yeah, we halfway.
- 44:25Speaker 4: I mean I'm still into it.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Like I said, you're right, we need they need to
- 44:30Speaker 1: take a pause on the full story, like, hey, let's
- 44:33Speaker 1: take a detoy with But I don't care. I just
- 44:35Speaker 1: want to keep I want to I want more. I
- 44:38Speaker 1: wanted want more on the Apocalypse story. I want more
- 44:41Speaker 1: about where this is going, where we're gonna end up.
- 44:44Speaker 1: My thing is like, cause, if you're gonna speed run,
- 44:45Speaker 1: then fucking commit in the speed run.
- 44:47Speaker 4: Let's let's get it done.
- 44:49Speaker 1: And that's that's how that's why I sit selfish, sure,
- 44:52Speaker 1: but I don't care.
- 44:54Speaker 3: But like I said, I think with five more episodes,
- 44:56Speaker 3: I think we're gonna you know, we're gonna get through
- 44:59Speaker 3: the majority of what this Apocalypse storyline is. You know,
- 45:02Speaker 3: whatever this is, we're gonna get through it this season.
- 45:04Speaker 3: It's not gonna where you know, this apocalypse unless this
- 45:07Speaker 3: season ends with transforming the world into the Age of Apocalypse. Uh,
- 45:13Speaker 3: really quick, Yeah, that's that's a long story, short, real quick.
- 45:16Speaker 3: In the comics in the nineties, at one point, Professor
- 45:21Speaker 3: gets killed by I can't remember who it is, but
- 45:24Speaker 3: I remember that Cable or Bishop is trying to time
- 45:26Speaker 3: travel to stop it, but he gets killed. And so
- 45:29Speaker 3: when he gets killed, it transforms the whole future into
- 45:33Speaker 3: the Age of Apocalypse because it's like he gets killed
- 45:35Speaker 3: until everything changes. And the comics was really dope how
- 45:39Speaker 3: they did this, Like they killed Professor X at the
- 45:42Speaker 3: end of one issue, and in the next month, all
- 45:44Speaker 3: the X Men comic books stop like there was no
- 45:46Speaker 3: like they were doing Uncanny X Men, x Men whatever,
- 45:49Speaker 3: X Factor. None of them came out the next month.
- 45:52Speaker 3: The next month all new titles came out where it
- 45:55Speaker 3: was like The Amazing X Men or something else, and
- 45:58Speaker 3: they all took place in this new world where everything
- 46:01Speaker 3: had changed, where Apocalypse that now ruled the world for however,
- 46:05Speaker 3: many years, and everything was different. Wolverine only had one hand,
- 46:10Speaker 3: cyclopes that one eye. It was a lot of wild stuff,
- 46:13Speaker 3: you know. And so that went on for months until
- 46:17Speaker 3: someone in that timeline figured out what was going on,
- 46:20Speaker 3: went back save Professor X, and reverted the timeline back,
- 46:22Speaker 3: and those issues stopped and we went back to the
- 46:25Speaker 3: main timeline. So I feel like they're building forwards something
- 46:29Speaker 3: like that. They've shown stuff like that before in the
- 46:31Speaker 3: original Animated Cities, but they never did it like that
- 46:33Speaker 3: where it's like.
- 46:34Speaker 2: The whole thing and that way.
- 46:35Speaker 3: Yes, you could do the whole you know, intro again
- 46:38Speaker 3: with Wolverine with one hand.
- 46:40Speaker 2: You know, it'd be another opportunity for that. But what
- 46:42Speaker 2: are you going to say?
- 46:43Speaker 4: Is all that supposed to link back to what they're
- 46:45Speaker 4: doing with the MCU. Who knows?
- 46:47Speaker 3: The latest rumor is that Adam Driver is being considered
- 46:51Speaker 3: to play Magneto and that one, yeah, my man who's
- 46:55Speaker 3: in the Conjuring, and also right now Kate Fear is
- 47:01Speaker 3: rumored to play Professor X.
- 47:03Speaker 4: I'm not mad about Adam Driver, as Megan.
- 47:06Speaker 2: I'm booing on both of those.
- 47:12Speaker 3: Adam Driver, it goes back to my whole thing with Magneto,
- 47:16Speaker 3: and I'm gonna, I think I'm gonna to make a
- 47:18Speaker 3: video on this plot.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Just I don't think Magniitto needs to be Jewish anymore.
- 47:21Speaker 3: I don't, And uh, it's gonna be interesting how they
- 47:25Speaker 3: play with Adam Driver being much younger than that version
- 47:28Speaker 3: of Professor X, and also Adam Driver being not old
- 47:31Speaker 3: enough to have ever, you know, been in the Holocaust.
- 47:34Speaker 3: Like that's one of my things with Manito. He's tied
- 47:37Speaker 3: as his Jewish version, He's tied to me in the Holocaust.
- 47:41Speaker 3: And if you make it where like people say, well
- 47:44Speaker 3: he could you know, im mute powers of the age
- 47:45Speaker 3: is very.
- 47:46Speaker 2: Slowly, but that just seems ridiculous, honestly.
- 47:48Speaker 3: Like it's enough that you know he has magnetic powers
- 47:51Speaker 3: and all that, but you know, I don't know. I
- 47:52Speaker 3: get it, fine, Sure, Okay, Magneto's one hundred years old
- 47:55Speaker 3: and looks like Adam Driver, all right, you know, I guess.
- 47:59Speaker 3: But I just feel like there's other ways to tell
- 48:02Speaker 3: this story. I feel like America has done more than
- 48:04Speaker 3: enough atrocities on its own, where Magnito could be any
- 48:08Speaker 3: number of different races and still have that oppressed.
- 48:12Speaker 2: I don't want this.
- 48:14Speaker 4: American Indigenous I think.
- 48:17Speaker 3: It would be incredible because Magnito's whole thing is I've
- 48:20Speaker 3: seen this happen to the people before.
- 48:22Speaker 2: I'll never allow it again.
- 48:24Speaker 3: To happen to musics, right, And so for Native Americans
- 48:26Speaker 3: that is like, I mean, that's spot on the noose.
- 48:29Speaker 3: And it's also ties it into America, which I think,
- 48:33Speaker 3: you know, people need to take a hard look at
- 48:35Speaker 3: America more. And so that's why I think that. So yeah,
- 48:38Speaker 3: I just and then Adam Driver. It just makes it
- 48:40Speaker 3: feel too much like Darth what's his name?
- 48:43Speaker 4: Oh, you just think Darth Law.
- 48:45Speaker 3: Yeah, because it's like I haven't seen the range from
- 48:48Speaker 3: Driver yet. And yeah, it's like I've already you know,
- 48:53Speaker 3: I've seen you as the big bad I see.
- 48:56Speaker 1: What you're saying. Yeah, I see what you're saying. You
- 48:58Speaker 1: you look wisely. You give him the white hair boom.
- 49:03Speaker 1: He's mad needle. I get it.
- 49:04Speaker 3: But yeah, I just and then dude as Patrick as
- 49:09Speaker 3: Professor Wild. I haven't seen who is Professor Rex. I
- 49:15Speaker 3: can't remember his name. He's the leader in Cape Fear
- 49:17Speaker 3: right now. And he's also he was in the Conjuring
- 49:20Speaker 3: and he was the leader in the Conjuring and all
- 49:22Speaker 3: those Conjuring and spin off movies. He's the you know,
- 49:25Speaker 3: he plays the guy who's investigating everything he's doing. No, no,
- 49:30Speaker 3: the other leader, Kate Fear, the white dude.
- 49:33Speaker 4: Yeah, Patrick Wilson.
- 49:37Speaker 3: Yeah, he's in the Conjuring and Kate Fear And I
- 49:40Speaker 3: turned off the first episode of k I Do.
- 49:42Speaker 2: Yeah you notice man.
- 49:44Speaker 4: He well did he play like I don't know. He
- 49:48Speaker 4: sorry to say that.
- 49:49Speaker 1: They kind of all look like, but he looked like
- 49:52Speaker 1: he played doctor Doom in some one off iteration on
- 49:55Speaker 1: TV he just had left. Yeah, he looks no, you
- 50:01Speaker 1: know what he looks like. He looks like the guy
- 50:02Speaker 1: that did play doctor doone that past recently.
- 50:05Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I guess I.
- 50:09Speaker 4: Hear what you're saying.
- 50:10Speaker 1: Like, it's just not it's not for you particularly, it's not.
- 50:15Speaker 3: It's not challenging, it's not like, oh you know, it's
- 50:18Speaker 3: just like, okay, why yet to my white guys?
- 50:21Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, cool, I guess you know, yeah, sure.
- 50:24Speaker 3: Even though we all know that, you know, the iteration
- 50:26Speaker 3: that we all know in love is definitely even though
- 50:28Speaker 3: they weren't originally based on them. You know, when Chris
- 50:31Speaker 3: Claremont came on, he definitely started making him about Malcolm
- 50:35Speaker 3: and Martin. And you know, to my white guys playing
- 50:37Speaker 3: Malcolm and.
- 50:38Speaker 1: Martin, My thing is they've already expressed after after this,
- 50:42Speaker 1: what doomsday or one more, that the whole universe resets anyway,
- 50:46Speaker 1: so they kind of don't care to then.
- 50:48Speaker 2: No, but this will be the reset universe.
- 50:50Speaker 3: This is going to be the new version of the
- 50:52Speaker 3: X Men when they when these guys do it, this
- 50:54Speaker 3: will be it.
- 50:55Speaker 2: This don't be the one yeah, X Men, but but.
- 50:58Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. This will be all said. It's
- 51:00Speaker 3: an our magneto for the First Sea going forward. Yes,
- 51:04Speaker 3: and that whole reboot thing people, I don't know how
- 51:06Speaker 3: that have to work. You know, people keep saying that,
- 51:08Speaker 3: but we don't know how they're gonna do it. But
- 51:10Speaker 3: we do know that Patrick Stewart and Ian mckennan are
- 51:13Speaker 3: not playing yeah, yeah, yeah, And they're not going back
- 51:16Speaker 3: to what's his name either, split whatever, McAvoy. They're not
- 51:21Speaker 3: going back to McAvoy for whatever reason. I don't know why,
- 51:23Speaker 3: but he wasn't mad.
- 51:25Speaker 4: But that was also a Fox decision that.
- 51:28Speaker 3: You're right, So yeah, Marvel's Marvel's doing with the whole
- 51:31Speaker 3: brand new and I don't know if it's also since
- 51:33Speaker 3: we're Adam Driver and Sadie Sink is Jane Gray.
- 51:38Speaker 2: Yeah, but I guess.
- 51:40Speaker 3: It's supposed to be that age different than Professor Ats
- 51:43Speaker 3: and you know, yeah, so I get it.
- 51:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know, dude, it's just boring choices. Man.
- 51:49Speaker 2: I'm sorry, man, I'm sorry. Those are just boring ass choices.
- 51:52Speaker 2: Three Like it's like, okay, yeah, sure, fine.
- 51:55Speaker 4: We tried.
- 51:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I like, how do you think about it?
