- 2:23Speaker 4: of the most exciting things I've ever heard. So it's

- 2:26Speaker 4: Think thank you, so stay tuned for that. Coming up next,
- 2:29Speaker 4: we do that segment that you've been talking about, the
- 2:31Speaker 4: Audy Joe that you've alluded to slightly earlier.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Yeah, what's up with You New Zealand? Or What's wrong
- 2:36Speaker 2: with You Newsy? I've changed it's what's up with You newsic? Oh, okay,
- 2:39Speaker 2: what's that? We're going to sting for that. No, but

- 2:44Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarky.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Faith No more There on the Hodarchy Big Show this
- 2:52Speaker 3: Tuesday afternoon. The time is thirteen minutes past four o'clock
- 2:56Speaker 3: and it's time now for our new.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Segment, What's wrong with You New Zealand? What's wrong with.
- 3:07Speaker 5: So?
- 3:07Speaker 2: How does this work? Jase?
- 3:09Speaker 1: Well?
- 3:09Speaker 3: I was thinking about it actually because poor old Moogie,
- 3:12Speaker 3: it hasn't escaped people's attention is under the gun at
- 3:14Speaker 3: the moment. With his nose and throat, he sounds like
- 3:17Speaker 3: he smoked about you know, five thousand cigarettes and quaffed
- 3:22Speaker 3: about I don't know, fifty lids of bourbon.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Yeah, that's probably fair.
- 3:27Speaker 4: I did have a few drinks, just a few quiets
- 3:30Speaker 4: with some friends on Friday night. Got to be at
- 3:33Speaker 4: about five in the morning. Also, oh yeah, well that's
- 3:35Speaker 4: you know, you get to Channing Fellers, you know. Yeah, weirdly,
- 3:39Speaker 4: I didn't. I didn't get around a dart until about
- 3:42Speaker 4: one in the morning. Wow, something like that. That's so
- 3:45Speaker 4: weird is when the darts came out.
- 3:46Speaker 3: And then you can I say, did you borrow them
- 3:48Speaker 3: from a friend or did you purchase.
- 3:50Speaker 2: A friend purchased them? Okay, I've seen Mogi egging his
- 3:56Speaker 2: friends on to buy Siggi's though, so I wouldn't be
- 3:58Speaker 2: surprised if it was him, say hey, you should go
- 4:00Speaker 2: and keez.
- 4:01Speaker 4: You've never been more right in your life, never been
- 4:05Speaker 4: more right in your life.
- 4:06Speaker 3: But it's sort of because because I know that you've
- 4:09Speaker 3: been under the gun with that mode. You you know,
- 4:12Speaker 3: it's been very kay And I can I just be
- 4:15Speaker 3: really up front here, I'm under the weather today.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Terrible? Can I say that? Yeah? Thank you? You look tired? Yeah,
- 4:21Speaker 2: thank you? Look thanks phellows weird? Thank you?
- 4:26Speaker 3: And true story. My horney has popped out. Now I've
- 4:31Speaker 3: got it.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I've got a hornet.
- 4:33Speaker 7: Yeah, okay, oh god, is that in the movie Total
- 4:43Speaker 7: Recall with Arnold Swarzenegger where he's got a like a
- 4:47Speaker 7: baby's head that comes out of there's an alien and
- 4:49Speaker 7: it's got a baby If it comes over as.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Guts, it sort of looks like that has got facial
- 4:53Speaker 4: features on it, that hernia.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I can just it can be even more
- 4:56Speaker 3: specific about it for the audience's sake. It's in my
- 4:59Speaker 3: belly button and what happens, and what happens is suddenly
- 5:03Speaker 3: turns into an AUTI.
- 5:04Speaker 2: And it's extremely painful. Now what I can do is
- 5:09Speaker 2: push it back in. But that really hurts.
- 5:12Speaker 3: When I well, yes it does, but it's extremely It's
- 5:16Speaker 3: like one of those pain hackers.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Yeah I can't.
- 5:18Speaker 3: It's right on the threshold of my pain forbearance.
- 5:22Speaker 2: I feel like, so push it back in, live on
- 5:25Speaker 2: it and see how that goes. So I'm right.
- 5:27Speaker 3: And so all day it's been really and then Kesy
- 5:33Speaker 3: was saying, you were saying, Ezy that you haven't been
- 5:35Speaker 3: feeling great today, and I was thinking to myself, Holy moly,
- 5:39Speaker 3: the big shows under the gun.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I wonder how the rest of New Zealand is doing. Yeah,
- 5:43Speaker 2: so I've got a bit of a weird throat happening, sore,
- 5:48Speaker 2: not ticually, but like sow, I woke up this morning,
- 5:51Speaker 2: I was sucking at the Big Ones last night snoring
- 5:54Speaker 2: or I feel like I'm.
- 5:59Speaker 3: I bumped into on the street coming into work there
- 6:01Speaker 3: and you just sounded a bit wheezy.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yeah, my childhood asthma. You know, you're a bit puffed.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Yeah, And it made me think, geez, I mean, we
- 6:12Speaker 3: don't need to be alone in our suffering here, and
- 6:14Speaker 3: we can all be a support network for each other, which.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Of course we are. But how's the rest of New
- 6:19Speaker 2: Zealand doing at the moment? So what's wrong New Zealand?
- 6:22Speaker 2: What have you? What ails you? We want you to
- 6:24Speaker 2: have a bit of a winge with us? Three four
- 6:25Speaker 2: eight three flickers a text. Every single text is in
- 6:28Speaker 2: the draw for fifty bucks worth of reburger.
- 6:29Speaker 4: That's right. And it's also the middle of winter, isn't it.
- 6:31Speaker 4: So there's a hell of a lot of ailments out
- 6:34Speaker 4: and about.
- 6:35Speaker 2: And also, you know, not just have a winge. Maybe
- 6:38Speaker 2: we can help you out with that. Give me a
- 6:41Speaker 2: treatment course to get your back on track. Totally mate,
- 6:44Speaker 2: that's right, three four eight three, what's wrong with your
- 6:47Speaker 2: New Zealand? Let us help, And of course you go
- 6:50Speaker 2: in the draw for a fifty dollars give our chair
- 6:52Speaker 2: if you do that. In the meantime, is the Black Keys.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Actually Big Show with j Mike and Keezy. Tune in
- 7:01Speaker 1: week days at four on radio hold.
- 7:03Speaker 3: A radio head there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 7:07Speaker 3: this Tuesday afternoon. The time is twenty five minutes past
- 7:10Speaker 3: four o'clock. We're all feeling a bit under the weather
- 7:13Speaker 3: on the Big Show today, So we've started a new
- 7:16Speaker 3: segment called what's wrong with you New Zealand?
- 7:20Speaker 2: What's wrong with It's good stuff, polks, that's a right
- 7:27Speaker 2: you text through what's wrong with you at the moment
- 7:29Speaker 2: because we all seem to have ailments. Yeah.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Well, and MoU made a really good point. It is midwinter,
- 7:34Speaker 3: it's the time for it.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Yeah, so Moggi, your voice and your throat nose are
- 7:38Speaker 2: gone a bit weird.
- 7:39Speaker 4: Yeah, my standard ianos and throat issues that have been
- 7:42Speaker 4: a recurring problem for probably the last.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Four years just come back again. Yeah, hopefully it'll be
- 7:46Speaker 2: done by the end of the year, hopefully just in
- 7:49Speaker 2: time for next winter. And then hoidy, j you've got
- 7:51Speaker 2: a hernia. Yeah, it's popped out. It's popped out. Good too, good,
- 7:55Speaker 2: thank you, thank you. And then my throat just feels
- 7:57Speaker 2: a wee bit weird, nothing major, to be fair, A
- 8:00Speaker 2: lots of ticks coming off. I worried about you, cheezy.
- 8:02Speaker 2: It doesn't sound good really, A slightly sore throat, but
- 8:05Speaker 2: not really. What's with the sort of beads of sweat
- 8:08Speaker 2: running down the side of your forehead there? It's just
- 8:10Speaker 2: really hot in here. Yeah, true? Three four eight three,
- 8:13Speaker 2: every text and the drawer for fifty bucks reburger. Good
- 8:15Speaker 2: a guys, I really need to go wheeze, but I
- 8:17Speaker 2: can't right now. No, oh the old what do you
- 8:21Speaker 2: call that? Bladder infection?
- 8:22Speaker 6: No?
- 8:23Speaker 4: The other one there? You know you're in retract Yeah
- 8:26Speaker 4: it could be. You're on any track. But when you
- 8:27Speaker 4: get the soccado wheeze the Jason because you're prostate. Yeah,
- 8:31Speaker 4: she's bagging. Yeah, you need to get yourself along to
- 8:33Speaker 4: a doctor. Somebody was a thick index finger.
- 8:37Speaker 2: To be honest, it just sounds like they're not able
- 8:39Speaker 2: to go toilet. Right now. Like, it's not exactly we'll
- 8:44Speaker 2: get yourself to a doctor immediately, right, because I would
- 8:47Speaker 2: just say maybe just wait and go wheeze in a
- 8:49Speaker 2: wee bit. Oh you see, that's the sort of stuff
- 8:51Speaker 2: you can't wait. You've got to get along good a guys.
- 8:54Speaker 2: I've had a cough for the last two months, and
- 8:56Speaker 2: every time a cough, a bit of wie comes out.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Yeah that's normal. Yeah, that see that sounds like something
- 9:02Speaker 2: I would go to the doctor. You'd be wasting their time.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Keys if you don't do a Wii when you every
- 9:08Speaker 2: time you cough, I mean, are you even a man?
- 9:12Speaker 2: That's a good point, moggie. I don't, but I'll start
- 9:15Speaker 2: trying to. I wouldn't try. You either got it or
- 9:17Speaker 2: you ain't. Totally damn it. Get a guys, my ears
- 9:21Speaker 2: are bleeding listening to giz Nato complain about Azuki Bubbahrnia.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Just what Nato. You know you're nicknamed the NATO. Get
- 9:32Speaker 2: it right. I've had a runny nose for two weeks
- 9:35Speaker 2: and then I woke up with a crrecked neck.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I get that when I lie on the couch,
- 9:40Speaker 3: because where I'm lying on the couch like I'm facing
- 9:43Speaker 3: the window and the.
- 9:44Speaker 2: TV's to my left.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Oh yeah, so I'm having to tilt my head slightly
- 9:48Speaker 3: to the left to watch the TV and that gives
- 9:50Speaker 3: me a bit of a crook in the old neck there,
- 9:53Speaker 3: whereas my wife has it directly the couch, facing directly
- 9:57Speaker 3: to the television and she never gets a.
- 9:59Speaker 2: C She's a lucky bad How do we treat that?
- 10:02Speaker 4: Just tell him to move his couch around the sneaker's
- 10:05Speaker 4: wife seat on the couch.
- 10:07Speaker 2: You know, this is this is another this is not Jace.
- 10:09Speaker 2: I think you're getting things but muddled up, right, Okay,
- 10:13Speaker 2: it's that fever you're running. Yeah, okay, so just swap
- 10:16Speaker 2: places with your wife. No, Jason's wife. Swap places with
- 10:22Speaker 2: Jason's wife. Good guys. I've just had to clean my
- 10:26Speaker 2: desk at work and it was really dusty, and I've
- 10:27Speaker 2: been sneezing all afternoon and it's made my eyes dilated.
- 10:34Speaker 2: So what what do you do for that? You just
- 10:38Speaker 2: have to let that one pass, I think, really, Yeah,
- 10:40Speaker 2: time will sort that out. Yeah, maybe an orange you
- 10:43Speaker 2: have a top up and another half now, yeah, total,
- 10:45Speaker 2: I would say I would say to have an anti histamine,
- 10:50Speaker 2: just because you know, dust sneezing allergic. That's why you're
- 10:53Speaker 2: a radio d J, keasy and not a doctor. Mate, Right, Okay,
- 10:59Speaker 2: I'm good. I go as I've woken up feeling hungover
- 11:02Speaker 2: after a night of undeserved over indulgence. Yep, yep, you
- 11:07Speaker 2: need probably a couple of beers there, A few beers, okay,
- 11:11Speaker 2: a few beers also there. And I always found out,
- 11:14Speaker 2: you know, a couple of diaries chucked in there. Not
- 11:17Speaker 2: that we're encouraging that sort of thing that you found.
- 11:21Speaker 2: You found me personally, yeah, right, okay, because you can't
- 11:24Speaker 2: en carriage that sort of thing. Get a guys, I
- 11:27Speaker 2: burnt my tongue on some ramen. I can't taste anything.
- 11:32Speaker 2: I wonder if he got the death ramen, maybe that
- 11:37Speaker 2: I would say, because would say, maybe eat yogurt. Oh
- 11:41Speaker 2: that's a fallacy, keezy.
- 11:42Speaker 3: What do you mean you get the cure chili? What
- 11:45Speaker 3: you do is get a god full of sugar.
- 11:48Speaker 2: A mouthful of sugar, salt or salt or cinnamon. And
- 11:52Speaker 2: if you ever got either of those things, cane pepper, right,
- 11:56Speaker 2: and that's going to fix it. Okay, Well keep those
- 12:00Speaker 2: what's coming in three four eighty three, every text in
- 12:02Speaker 2: the draw for some reburger and maybe we'll address we'll

- 12:35Speaker 2: there a little bit of pride baked into every pie?
- 12:38Speaker 2: Keysy Mogi. Yeah, you can taste it, man, the pride.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, and you can taste them when the pie
- 12:45Speaker 2: doesn't have that, Oh you can man.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Actually, you've just given me a reminder I might chuck
- 12:48Speaker 3: a pie in now. We'll have it later on in
- 12:50Speaker 3: the show.
- 12:51Speaker 2: You're blowing out a bit.
- 12:53Speaker 4: You've got to ease up, brother, I am today and
- 12:55Speaker 4: you've smashed a whole box of shapes for yourself.

- 13:11Speaker 5: Oh it's a bit oversh.
- 13:14Speaker 4: What are you doing for a crusty at Mike? You
- 13:17Speaker 4: absolute sicko.
- 13:18Speaker 5: Oh a, I'm a gold cabinet maker.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Ah body good.
- 13:25Speaker 3: And when you're making your cabinets there and you knock
- 13:27Speaker 3: off for a bit of smoke over there, Mike, what
- 13:29Speaker 3: pie are you running with?
- 13:31Speaker 5: I'm a big fan of a steak and onion.
- 13:33Speaker 4: Ah yah, yes, Now, Mike, you don't see your steak
- 13:37Speaker 4: and onion very often these days, very common back of
- 13:39Speaker 4: the day by day, I call it back in the
- 13:41Speaker 4: eighties there, and I haven't spoiled a steak and onion
- 13:44Speaker 4: for a long time.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Does your local bakery do one?
- 13:46Speaker 5: Oh yep, there's one up here that does one.
- 13:49Speaker 2: How bloody bloody good?
- 13:51Speaker 3: Hey, well, great news for you. Might you just one
- 13:54Speaker 3: years have two hundred and fifty bucks.

- 14:07Speaker 4: Old school, and is the which you also don't see anymore.
- 14:11Speaker 4: You're steak and kidney. I love me a steak and
- 14:16Speaker 4: kidney pie. Now, they used to make a steak and
- 14:18Speaker 4: kidney keys and you won't remember this, man, but Cobblestone
- 14:21Speaker 4: pies were tied down in the Lower North Island.
- 14:25Speaker 2: They do a steak and kidney and when they say kidney,
- 14:27Speaker 2: this is naiveta on behalf kidney bean or actual kidney.
- 14:32Speaker 4: No kidneys, actual kidneys. Because back in those days that
- 14:35Speaker 4: you see that you use your awful. But as time's
- 14:37Speaker 4: going on and we've become a more of a rich society,
- 14:41Speaker 4: we don't.
- 14:42Speaker 2: We don't.
- 14:42Speaker 4: We don't allow ourselves to eat the kidney. Nothing wrong
- 14:44Speaker 4: with a bit of kidney.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I love I love me kidney. That's what's interesting is
- 14:49Speaker 2: because when I took my parents out for dinner on
- 14:51Speaker 2: Friday night, went to a restaurant. We get all sorts
- 14:53Speaker 2: on skewers. There was lamb trim, which is what we got,
- 14:58Speaker 2: which is sort of like off cuts and stuff for
- 15:00Speaker 2: nice and chili and really nice and tasted lamb chops. Yeah,
- 15:02Speaker 2: well yum, it's get that. But then it was like
- 15:03Speaker 2: lamb testicles. Nah, you know, lamb kidney or whatever it was,
- 15:06Speaker 2: or chicken gizzard.
- 15:08Speaker 4: People steer away from your knackers, Yeah, your awful and
- 15:11Speaker 4: that sort of thing. But I give me some knackers
- 15:14Speaker 4: to chill on any day.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Man, I'm keen as a being totally mate. I'm with you,
- 15:18Speaker 2: Magie at my local hot pop.
- 15:20Speaker 5: There.
- 15:20Speaker 3: You'll get your your offels, your knackers, your balls.
- 15:27Speaker 2: I filled my bowl those big beautiful marbles. Hey, I
- 15:32Speaker 2: don't forget there's a serious amount of pride baged into
- 15:35Speaker 2: every dad's pie. There, feelers, he is really heating. Hey,
- 15:44Speaker 2: here's some penny.

- 16:13Speaker 4: I watched Hawk. It's called Hawk and it's on Netflix
- 16:17Speaker 4: and it stars Will Ferrell. It's a comedy series and
- 16:21Speaker 4: it follows Lonnie the Hawk Hawkins, a once dominant PGA
- 16:24Speaker 4: golfer from two thousand and four who refuses to retire
- 16:28Speaker 4: Felms Desperate to achieve a career grand Slam. He chases
- 16:32Speaker 4: a comeback while navigating strained family dynamics. Now it says
- 16:36Speaker 4: something that in the synopsis there says he's desperate to
- 16:40Speaker 4: achieve a career grand slam. Well, I got four episodes
- 16:42Speaker 4: deep and that was never mentioned. That was never mentioned, right, Okay,
- 16:47Speaker 4: it is a terrible show.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Have you got four EPs deep?
- 16:51Speaker 4: Well, because it's Will Ferrell, and I want to believe
- 16:53Speaker 4: that it's going to get better because I love him,
- 16:55Speaker 4: absolutely love Will Farrell, love all well, not all of
- 16:57Speaker 4: his movies, but he's done some of some of my
- 16:59Speaker 4: favorite comedy films.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Of all time.
- 17:02Speaker 4: And this is probably in reality it should be a
- 17:04Speaker 4: ninety minute, ninety minute movie and it's a ten episode
- 17:08Speaker 4: shambles with zero laughs at it.
- 17:12Speaker 2: So that was pretty getting. But anyway that we people
- 17:15Speaker 2: that disagree.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Terrible reviews across the board for it, I thought it
- 17:19Speaker 4: might have just been me and my hangover state. But yeah,
- 17:22Speaker 4: she's pretty grim. I give it one boozy out of
- 17:25Speaker 4: a possible five, and that's on Netflix and it's called Hawk.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Yeah, good stuff, mate.
- 17:29Speaker 3: I watch Sleeping Dogs, the classic New Zealand film starring
- 17:33Speaker 3: are One and Only Sam Neil. First, can I just
- 17:35Speaker 3: say he's an absolute stealing He is such a good
- 17:39Speaker 3: looking fellow. It's basically the story of a sort of
- 17:42Speaker 3: fascist revolution in New Zealand. His character Smith gets caught
- 17:46Speaker 3: up in the middle of it after he divorces his wife,
- 17:49Speaker 3: but gets caught up in the middle of this fight
- 17:51Speaker 3: between the sort of fascist state and you know, the
- 17:55Speaker 3: general public. Very relevant to our current sort of political environment.
- 18:01Speaker 3: You know, it's a really good film. I really enjoyed
- 18:03Speaker 3: it famously. It did remarkably well. I think it was
- 18:07Speaker 3: New Zealand's first ever full thirty five millimeter feature film.
- 18:12Speaker 3: It's the first film that's sold in the United States,
- 18:16Speaker 3: and it was like a massive critical success. And also
- 18:21Speaker 3: I think they said it was basically that film that
- 18:24Speaker 3: helped us set up the New Zealand Film Commission, right,
- 18:26Speaker 3: so cool.
- 18:27Speaker 2: It was a number of things. Immune sort of did
- 18:30Speaker 2: the screenplay for it because it's based on a book
- 18:32Speaker 2: by C. K. Stead in New Zealand author I think, yes,
- 18:36Speaker 2: so yeah, really really good and it's just great to
- 18:39Speaker 2: what I loved about it seeing old school New Zealand. Yes,
- 18:43Speaker 2: you know what I.
- 18:43Speaker 3: Mean when it was a bit run down and shabby,
- 18:47Speaker 3: but look, I'll give it a good three point eight
- 18:49Speaker 3: busies out of five.
- 18:50Speaker 2: I enjoyed it, and that was on TVs Plus. Yes
- 18:52Speaker 2: it was because I mentioned you, sir, I've got that
- 18:54Speaker 2: full sem near section of the streaming platform. They don't
- 18:57Speaker 2: have the home in three, which is what I was looking. Well,
- 19:00Speaker 2: they only have the right Last Night Fellers speaking of
- 19:04Speaker 2: New Zealand and seeing it back in the day, my
- 19:07Speaker 2: wife and I finally for the first time ever, and
- 19:09Speaker 2: this is a show I know nothing about. We watched
- 19:13Speaker 2: Outrageous Fortune episode one. Yes, Corky the lawyer is supposed
- 19:17Speaker 2: to get Wolf West out of out of jail in
- 19:20Speaker 2: a few months, and you get twenty four years and
- 19:21Speaker 2: the slammer Corky. What they is that about? J plays Corky.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Of course my wife cracked up, which she had no
- 19:27Speaker 2: idea that you were even in the show. Oh right, okay,
- 19:29Speaker 2: And seeing all of the actors and the youngest the
- 19:33Speaker 2: guy from Homelander from the Boys, what's his name? And
- 19:37Speaker 2: he started playing to the twins, one who's like a
- 19:40Speaker 2: successful lawyer, the other one who's just the same guy
- 19:42Speaker 2: but with a wig on. Because it's an HD now
- 19:45Speaker 2: you can see these little things. Yes, I loved it
- 19:47Speaker 2: because the house that it was filmed at is near
- 19:50Speaker 2: my house. I've plenty of times. It's now been demolished
- 19:53Speaker 2: that there's whole lot of townhouses with no off street parking. Yeah. Good. However,
- 19:57Speaker 2: all the cars in it. As a car person, the
- 20:00Speaker 2: first three cars that arrived on set, I was like,
- 20:02Speaker 2: I've driven and owned all three of those. Yeah, it
- 20:04Speaker 2: was like a brown Commodore, a gray Skyline Ford. I
- 20:08Speaker 2: was just like one of those. I said, I absolutely
- 20:11Speaker 2: loved it. Great show. It is very, very, very funny
- 20:14Speaker 2: and also dramatic. I really enjoyed it. It's a great show.
- 20:17Speaker 2: It is a really really good show. I'm stoked. I
- 20:20Speaker 2: know nothing about it.
- 20:20Speaker 4: It's really good about it because I started watching that
- 20:22Speaker 4: again a few months ago. And what's really good about
- 20:25Speaker 4: that first episode is normally they're trying to shove a
- 20:28Speaker 4: million storylines down your throat, and they do. They see
- 20:30Speaker 4: everything up, but it's done in a way that is
- 20:32Speaker 4: not like and now we tell them who's this person,
- 20:35Speaker 4: and it's just done in a way that's really entertaining,
- 20:38Speaker 4: which is a hard thing to do. But you look
- 20:39Speaker 4: at who's in that show. Every single one of them
- 20:42Speaker 4: has gone on to great has it gone on to career?
- 20:45Speaker 2: It's so cool seeing all those actors. When did that
- 20:47Speaker 2: come out?
- 20:49Speaker 3: I think, yeah, yeah, time ago, and that's what I
- 20:53Speaker 3: loved about. Also, sleeping Dogs were seeing all you see
- 20:57Speaker 3: all the New Zealand's great actors, but when they were
- 21:00Speaker 3: really young.
- 21:02Speaker 2: So stuff that is all up on tvns in plus.
- 21:04Speaker 2: By the way, every single season of ourt Rageous Fortune,
- 21:06Speaker 2: I give it four busies out of five one episode.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Good stuff. Mate. Here's led Zeppelin.
- 21:13Speaker 1: The Hold Actual Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold.
- 21:19Speaker 3: I can welcome back to your messive backbones. Hope you're
- 21:21Speaker 3: getting through your Tuesday. Okay, you are listening to the
- 21:24Speaker 3: Big Show, brought to you by Rebooger.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Frave worthy street food freshly made with Reburger. Yeah, great stuff.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Montoya eh cheez.
- 21:34Speaker 3: I remember that what that was like when you know
- 21:36Speaker 3: you just reached that point where your body, you know,
- 21:39Speaker 3: you just ah, geez, I can't do this anymore. I mean,
- 21:44Speaker 3: you know, if you're playing professional sport of any kind,
- 21:48Speaker 3: you know your body very well and you know when
- 21:50Speaker 3: it's time to call it, and it's a sad.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Time, but you just got to do it. You know,
- 21:54Speaker 2: you got to look after yourself. You knew your body
- 21:56Speaker 2: wasn't up to it when you're about twelve, dead man. Yeah,
- 22:01Speaker 2: just as shambles. Is that when you found radio? Oh
- 22:05Speaker 2: I didn't find radio? Tell us about eighteen Keezy? Yeah? Yeah,
- 22:10Speaker 2: is that when you're at teacher's college.
- 22:12Speaker 3: But you know, up until that point though, Mogi, you
- 22:15Speaker 3: know when I did realize that at twelve, I'd had
- 22:17Speaker 3: a good five.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Year career and professional league and professional rugby league. You
- 22:22Speaker 2: played in RL. Come on, Jason, just little seven year
- 22:25Speaker 2: old hoidy. J the guts, that's what they used to
- 22:29Speaker 2: call me, up the guts, Hoidy. J Are we attending
- 22:34Speaker 2: this five o'clock opening moment as like a daily lie
- 22:37Speaker 2: from Jason? Is that what this is? I don't know
- 22:39Speaker 2: what you're talking about. Key, You were seven and you
- 22:40Speaker 2: were playing in the NRL. Hey, up next, something that
- 22:44Speaker 2: is one hundred percent truthful. And there's a guaranteed way
- 22:47Speaker 2: to make money. And I'm excited to have you guys
- 22:49Speaker 2: involved with it. Yeah, investment opportunity. And I want you
- 22:52Speaker 2: guys just to go into this with an open mind
- 22:54Speaker 2: or okay, fully open all right, Jesus gaying.
- 23:00Speaker 1: The fun the Hiarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keysy.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Tune in on.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Radio the Strokes on the Hodarchy Big Show. There's Tuesday afternoon.
- 23:11Speaker 3: The time's fourteen minutes past five o'clock.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Well, let's go ask you a question. Do you like
- 23:16Speaker 2: making money? Did I getting rich? Yeah? Sure? Yeah, yeah,
- 23:22Speaker 2: money is flowing on into the not my priority, but
- 23:25Speaker 2: yeah sure, no totally, but you know it certainly makes
- 23:27Speaker 2: things easier. I guess yes, when the money is flowing in,
- 23:31Speaker 2: let's say yes, yeah, yeah yeah. So like Hoidy Jay
- 23:34Speaker 2: for example, you like investing like you're a landlord. Now
- 23:37Speaker 2: you've got various rental properties. But I was just the
- 23:42Speaker 2: one as it. It's just the one of the money. Yeah, Mogi,
- 23:46Speaker 2: you invest in stuff as well. Ah. Sure he's a
- 23:50Speaker 2: big investor, is he? I'm a big investor? Yeah, okay.
- 23:53Speaker 2: I get all my tips from old Morgi. Old Moggi
- 23:56Speaker 2: over here with the tips. Yeah, I wouldn't mind some
- 23:59Speaker 2: of them. I'll give you the tip CAZy no more
- 24:01Speaker 2: ge sure yeah, but I've got an amazing investment opportunity, fellas.
- 24:07Speaker 2: And the great news is all that's going to cost,
- 24:09Speaker 2: right is four hundred dollars okay, me through it, taught
- 24:13Speaker 2: me through it.
- 24:14Speaker 4: So I was thinking we could go four ways. The
- 24:16Speaker 4: big show for investment is four hundred dollars each. Okay,
- 24:22Speaker 4: I thought you meant four hundred each. No, no, no, okay,
- 24:24Speaker 4: one handy each.
- 24:25Speaker 2: One hundred dollars each. And I think it is a
- 24:29Speaker 2: pretty damn good chance to come in. Yeah, I'm a
- 24:31Speaker 2: little bit worried about Helen was taken to get to
- 24:33Speaker 2: the point. Oh, okay, fellas, I think we should invest
- 24:40Speaker 2: in a racing pigeon. Ah, a racing pigeon. Look, I'm
- 24:55Speaker 2: I'm I'm in, you're in. What are we doing? We're
- 24:59Speaker 2: gambling on it? Assuming that how we own one? Yeah, yeah,
- 25:02Speaker 2: we buy. Yeah. I didn't think it was one bet
- 25:04Speaker 2: on a racing pigeon. That would be silly. Should be
- 25:06Speaker 2: able to buy the whole league for four hundred so yeah,
- 25:10Speaker 2: Does that include like feed and accommodation? Yeah, yeah, accommodation
- 25:16Speaker 2: for the pigeon. What about that? Does that include jockey fees?
- 25:20Speaker 2: I didn't know. I'm not sure about jockey fees. I
- 25:22Speaker 2: was under the impression that they don't need jockeys. I
- 25:26Speaker 2: thought a lot to learn about pigeon racing well, To
- 25:28Speaker 2: be honest, I do. I don't have any idea. All
- 25:30Speaker 2: all I know is that there is a pigeon racing
- 25:32Speaker 2: syndicate in the South Island? Is there? And you can
- 25:34Speaker 2: buy a pigeon It's four hundred dollars? What of this? What?
- 25:40Speaker 2: What sort of return are we looking at? Here?
- 25:42Speaker 8: Is he?
- 25:42Speaker 2: Obviously with any kind of investment And it's what I'm
- 25:45Speaker 2: interested in.
- 25:45Speaker 3: You know what? What sort of what? What prices have
- 25:48Speaker 3: been put forward?
- 25:49Speaker 4: But Kezy, the thing with racing, any kind of racing
- 25:52Speaker 4: industry is you know, you want is you want to win,
- 25:55Speaker 4: But there's also an associated prestige that comes with it,
- 26:00Speaker 4: been in the winner's circle, being seen at the races,
- 26:03Speaker 4: all of those sorts of things. Yeah, and I'm sure
- 26:05Speaker 4: that that must apply to pigeon races as well.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Mate. It's glitz and glam. It's in based in Timaru.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Are we know what they call it? Is? Are we
- 26:17Speaker 2: investing in the middle of the road pigeon number one?
- 26:23Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 26:24Speaker 3: How do you How do you know if your pigeon
- 26:27Speaker 3: is a farough breed?
- 26:28Speaker 2: I don't know. All I know is that I have
- 26:31Speaker 2: already bought a pigeon great, and it's cold. You ready
- 26:34Speaker 2: for this?
- 26:35Speaker 4: Yeah, Pigeon one hundred and nine. Does it know and
- 26:44Speaker 4: respond to its own name? Or can we rename it?
- 26:46Speaker 2: I don't know. I've never seen it. Sure, I don't
- 26:48Speaker 2: know anything about it. I don't know what it looks like.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I don't know when the races are. All I know
- 26:52Speaker 2: is that I was made aware of a pigeon racing syndicate.
- 26:56Speaker 2: I was told it was four hundred dollars. I then
- 26:59Speaker 2: got four hundred dollars and Border racing. Great, Well, I
- 27:01Speaker 2: need to know more about this. Can we come back
- 27:03Speaker 2: and talk more about this? Sure? In fact, I can
- 27:04Speaker 2: do you one better. The guy who runs the whole
- 27:06Speaker 2: syndicate's going to come on the phone and just take
- 27:08Speaker 2: us through our invest What he's going to talk us
- 27:10Speaker 2: through our investment? Oh? Cool?
- 27:12Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 27:12Speaker 2: Great? What's his name? Don't Oh? Tim? Tim? Tim, the
- 27:17Speaker 2: pigeon man. So you excited, Jason, Well, I'll see what
- 27:22Speaker 2: Tim has to say and I'll go from there. It
- 27:25Speaker 2: has to be called pigeon Tim. By the way, I'm
- 27:29Speaker 2: glad you guys are on border, but I'm not. I'm
- 27:32Speaker 2: not not on board. All right, Well, I need you
- 27:34Speaker 2: to know that I have paid the money. That's fine,
- 27:35Speaker 2: that was your choice. No, I sort of did it.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Mostly have a first race goes, We'll go to the chill.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Isn't chat to pigeon? Tim mate? Yeah sounds good man.
- 27:48Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio hod.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Queens of the Stone Age.
- 27:53Speaker 3: There on the Hodarky Big Show this Tuesday afternoon. The
- 27:57Speaker 3: time is twenty seven twenty six minutes five o'clock.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Good thing you save that, jays. People have been a
- 28:02Speaker 2: few men. Yeah, I reckon exciting news, fellows, if you've
- 28:05Speaker 2: just joined us, The Big Show has officially agreed to
- 28:08Speaker 2: purchase a racing pigeon one hundred bucks seats from the
- 28:11Speaker 2: four of us boom you sold kill yourself a racing
- 28:14Speaker 2: pigeon known as Pigeon one oh nine. At this stage,
- 28:17Speaker 2: you know there will be in due course fellows will
- 28:19Speaker 2: be able to get the audience to help us name it.
- 28:22Speaker 2: And there's a whole lot of other admin around it
- 28:23Speaker 2: as well. But just so you guys can have a
- 28:25Speaker 2: bit more information on this investment, because I'd like a
- 28:28Speaker 2: bit more information now. I I want to just I mean,
- 28:30Speaker 2: there's bloody thousands of the barsads down on the square
- 28:33Speaker 2: every day. I could just pinched one of those and
- 28:35Speaker 2: get it for free, keasy, one hundred percent. But that's
- 28:38Speaker 2: why I've got Tim Black, who is sort of the
- 28:41Speaker 2: guy who runs the whole pigeon Racing syndicate. He goes
- 28:43Speaker 2: by the name of Pigeon Tim. Get a Tim, how
- 28:46Speaker 2: are you this afternoon?
- 28:47Speaker 5: Get a guys from Well, how are you?
- 28:49Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 28:49Speaker 2: Good? Thanks mate? Good, thanks Tim? Hey Tim. Just for
- 28:52Speaker 2: my colleagues here, mate, because we've been chatting off here
- 28:56Speaker 2: and it all sounded like a great investment. You know
- 28:58Speaker 2: when I was talking to you there, are you able
- 29:00Speaker 2: to just sort of answer some questions around the legitimacy
- 29:04Speaker 2: of this event, like this is a very big and
- 29:06Speaker 2: highly esteemed event.
- 29:08Speaker 5: Correct, one hundred percent, a very regal event, and look,
- 29:12Speaker 5: no worries. This is a fall on, good fast, good flying, Yeah,
- 29:17Speaker 5: good fun event. So well done for coming on board Gas.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Well, don't get too in term.
- 29:25Speaker 4: We haven't guaranteed that. We just got to find out
- 29:26Speaker 4: the ins and outs of it. Now Keys is on board,
- 29:28Speaker 4: but this is the first we have heard about it,
- 29:30Speaker 4: so we need to know a little bit more.
- 29:32Speaker 2: My first question for.
- 29:33Speaker 4: You would be how many races are there, and what
- 29:36Speaker 4: are the distances of those races and how many pigeons
- 29:39Speaker 4: in each race?
- 29:41Speaker 5: Yeah, no, exactly, good questions. One hundred and fifteen birds.
- 29:45Speaker 5: We've got a season of eight races and they're covering distances.
- 29:50Speaker 5: For a start, we use the Omoru Pigeon Club and
- 29:53Speaker 5: so everyone's all these birds fly back their homing pigeons,
- 29:56Speaker 5: they fly home to Omoru. Right the first race, which
- 29:59Speaker 5: is first of all August, that's going to be from
- 30:01Speaker 5: Ashburton at one hundred and fifty k's and then we
- 30:05Speaker 5: go right up to our big distance race, which is
- 30:08Speaker 5: on the third of September. That's four hundred and seventy
- 30:11Speaker 5: k that's from Glenham.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Holy cow. That's so there's a huge distances pigeon.
- 30:16Speaker 3: What I'm interested in, Tim, you know, is the difference
- 30:20Speaker 3: between you sort of stop standard pigeon and you're racing pigeon.
- 30:24Speaker 3: I'm imagining a racing pigeon would have to have a
- 30:27Speaker 3: heavy breast.
- 30:29Speaker 5: Oh good, exactly, you look for a good way, a
- 30:32Speaker 5: great breast, you know, a bit like KC. Really yeah,
- 30:36Speaker 5: but don't tell you what these are properation pageants. They
- 30:38Speaker 5: are very different to what do you say under the
- 30:40Speaker 5: Ashburgon Bridge or something like that. Yeah right, yeah, no,
- 30:43Speaker 5: the'se a properation pigeons and have got pedigree.
- 30:46Speaker 4: Now, obviously it's an eight race season that's done over
- 30:50Speaker 4: a period of weeks and even months there, Pigeon, Tim
- 30:54Speaker 4: brass tax brother, what are we talking about in terms
- 30:56Speaker 4: of a per race perse?
- 30:59Speaker 2: What was the prize money?
- 31:02Speaker 5: It's all pretty cool. So we give a donation back
- 31:05Speaker 5: to the pigeon Club for using their pigeons, and the
- 31:08Speaker 5: rest of it goes on prize money. So we've got
- 31:11Speaker 5: one thousand dollars for first in each trade, yeah, six
- 31:15Speaker 5: hundred for third, it's four hundred for fourth, two hundred
- 31:18Speaker 5: for fifth, and one hundred from for sixth place all
- 31:21Speaker 5: the way out to fifteen.
- 31:22Speaker 2: So yep, right, okay, so we payout. So let's just
- 31:26Speaker 2: say our pigeon, pigeon one oh nine is.
- 31:28Speaker 4: The sixth to last pigeon out of one hundred and
- 31:31Speaker 4: fifteen available.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Well, yeah, but he's meaner.
- 31:34Speaker 5: They've all been mixed up. Don't panish about that, you know,
- 31:37Speaker 5: the last number ups not the worst pigeon.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Yeah right, okay, and pigeon Tim, if you could just
- 31:42Speaker 2: talk us through our particular pigeon, pigeon one oh nine.
- 31:45Speaker 2: You know, what can you tell us about that particular bird?
- 31:48Speaker 5: You've got a cop bird there?
- 31:51Speaker 2: Three? Or who?
- 31:52Speaker 5: A cop bird? I male bird? In other words?
- 31:54Speaker 2: Oh right, yeah, got you?
- 31:56Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. So maybe you could bring something
- 31:58Speaker 5: like that into into an We've got some great names. Yeah,
- 32:01Speaker 5: poor bird. No, he's a do you remember.
- 32:05Speaker 2: Speakled gym who doesn't remember?
- 32:08Speaker 5: It? Reminds me very much of him, So, you know,
- 32:11Speaker 5: good petigree. I understand Mike Tyson is one of the
- 32:14Speaker 5: big breeders of pigeons are in the world. I understand
- 32:16Speaker 5: this could have a wee bit of a touch of
- 32:18Speaker 5: Mike Tyson's bloodline in there, So I think you're in
- 32:20Speaker 5: for a good shot.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Guys, Wow, would.
- 32:22Speaker 4: You consider pigeon one ohno and that This is probably
- 32:24Speaker 4: hard to tell, but somebody with your experience would know.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Would you consider it a backbone?
- 32:28Speaker 4: Is this a kind of pigeon that just shu shuts
- 32:30Speaker 4: up and gets on with it and flies.
- 32:33Speaker 5: No, probably more of an impact player right over the
- 32:37Speaker 5: shorter distance. I'm thinking like Mike Tyson.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Yeah right right, okay, okay, well look pigeon, Tim, thank
- 32:46Speaker 2: you so much. Just double checking before you that you go.
- 32:48Speaker 2: I've definitely secured that bird, right, there's no backing out now.
- 32:51Speaker 5: Yeah, no, you can't get out. Okay. They all sold
- 32:54Speaker 5: an under a day, under twenty four hours.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Wow, just checking there. So we are locked in there, Fellers,
- 33:00Speaker 2: I mean you're locked in. This is the thing. This
- 33:04Speaker 2: is interesting, keys, I mean we're gonna have to mud over.
- 33:06Speaker 5: Yeah right, well pigeon your name by the first of
- 33:09Speaker 5: all before the first of August.
- 33:11Speaker 2: First of August. Yeah, mate, okay, pageant terms. Don't worry,
- 33:14Speaker 2: we'll take care of that, mate. Thank you so much
- 33:16Speaker 2: for having you on to us today. Well, no doubt,
- 33:17Speaker 2: we'll speak soon. Good on your mate, race, Thank you. Okay, Fellers,
- 33:22Speaker 2: Can I just clarify here, it's just the one race,
- 33:24Speaker 2: No eight races. I don't even know on the same
- 33:28Speaker 2: day eight races on Were you listening? Yeah it was.
- 33:31Speaker 2: I couldn't decide. There's eight races.
- 33:34Speaker 4: The first race is about one hundred and forty k
- 33:37Speaker 4: and from the sounds, but the longest distance is over
- 33:40Speaker 4: four hundred ks. So there's eight total races. Each race
- 33:44Speaker 4: with its own prize money five grand I.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Got you if you take out the top spot's five
- 33:48Speaker 2: thousand dollars. I heard one thousand dollars but wrong, No, yeah,
- 33:51Speaker 2: it was one yeah right.
- 33:53Speaker 4: Keasy, Well you're bringing all the facts, had them first
- 33:55Speaker 4: to your brother.
- 33:56Speaker 2: I don't know. All I did was see a racing
- 33:57Speaker 2: pigeon and buy it, Fellas, But we're well, we're going
- 34:01Speaker 2: to talk about it.
- 34:02Speaker 4: Jason and I will have to have a check. But
- 34:04Speaker 4: we'll come back to this later on. Very interesting.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Just a reminder I've paid for it. So yeah, good
- 34:09Speaker 2: stuff found.
- 34:11Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hurdarchy.
- 34:15Speaker 2: System of a down there on the Hodarchy Big Show
- 34:18Speaker 2: this Tuesday evening. The time is five forty one.
- 34:21Speaker 3: And Fellas, I've had another boot debarcle in my family
- 34:25Speaker 3: and it could cost me my marriage.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Right. So the first boot debarcle was obviously your what
- 34:30Speaker 2: you found some boots or your wife found them. Actually,
- 34:32Speaker 2: my wife found them initially in a second hand store
- 34:35Speaker 2: and a second hand Yeah, yeah, they're quite good. You
- 34:39Speaker 2: bought them tho were like a sort of fawny colored boot.
- 34:42Speaker 2: They went halfway up the ankle there. Jace purchased them,
- 34:45Speaker 2: only to discover they were in fact woman's boots from
- 34:48Speaker 2: a bridal footwear company.
- 34:50Speaker 4: That's right. You banged yourself, haven't you, Jose hard to
- 34:53Speaker 4: keep on wearing them. Haven't seen them for about three
- 34:55Speaker 4: weeks now. Disappeared, they're gone.
- 34:58Speaker 2: They're gone. Found it. Don't ever be warned to work
- 35:01Speaker 2: just we questioned when he's wearing them.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Just ton't clarify they're my morning shoe.
- 35:07Speaker 2: There, you didn't wear them dry breakfast last week? Anyway, Sorry,
- 35:12Speaker 2: don dust.
- 35:15Speaker 3: So my wife has now true story this by the way,
- 35:19Speaker 3: On Sunday we went out to Mission Bay and we
- 35:21Speaker 3: went into an up shop.
- 35:23Speaker 2: And then my wife said, oh, what do you think
- 35:25Speaker 2: of these boots? Seriously and genuinely, and oh no, they're
- 35:28Speaker 2: pretty not they're pretty cool. And you see as you
- 35:31Speaker 2: try them on they were woman's boots. I don't know
- 35:34Speaker 2: what's going on there, but that's by the bar. You've
- 35:36Speaker 2: just got a beautiful eye, ja, Yeah, I just I guess. So. Anyway,
- 35:40Speaker 2: so my wife has brought some.
- 35:42Speaker 3: New boots and it's completely.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Changed the dynamic of our relationship. Oh wow, what kind
- 35:49Speaker 2: of boots are there?
- 35:51Speaker 3: They're the sort of boots that have you know, your
- 35:53Speaker 3: massive soul on them. You know the ones I'm talking about.
- 35:56Speaker 3: They look like almost combat boots. I've got a really
- 36:00Speaker 3: fact sort of three inches sol. They're quite intimidating looking.
- 36:05Speaker 3: And my wife, she's been wanting to buy this sort
- 36:07Speaker 3: of type of boot for a long time. And I was,
- 36:10Speaker 3: you know, encouraging and stuff. Let me talk you through.
- 36:15Speaker 3: Let me talk you through.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Our general routine of a morning when my wife's not working.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Morning routine.
- 36:23Speaker 3: We get up in the morning, one of us will
- 36:25Speaker 3: make a coffee, Okay, that's all good. We'll have a
- 36:28Speaker 3: shower together or sometimes, and then we'll go for a
- 36:32Speaker 3: little walk in town. And as we're walking in town,
- 36:35Speaker 3: fell us are going to go and have a coffee
- 36:37Speaker 3: in a little light breakfast somewhere. As we're walking in town,
- 36:40Speaker 3: we'll have a bit of chitter chat and we'll be
- 36:43Speaker 3: walking side by side having a bit of chitter chat.
- 36:46Speaker 3: That was the case today. I said, let's go out.
- 36:48Speaker 3: We're going to go to this place and have a
- 36:49Speaker 3: coffee and a bit of food.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Very nice.
- 36:51Speaker 3: We're walking along side by side and I go to
- 36:56Speaker 3: chitta chat with my wife and she's like three inches
- 36:59Speaker 3: taller than me now, and so she was only used
- 37:02Speaker 3: to be about to sendimeter taller than me. Now she's
- 37:05Speaker 3: a good three to four inches taller than me, and
- 37:07Speaker 3: it's completely changed the five and dynamic of our relationship.
- 37:12Speaker 2: Wow. And I found it massively off putting. So instead
- 37:16Speaker 2: of sort of looking to my side, I'm now having
- 37:19Speaker 2: to look to my side and lock up. And there
- 37:22Speaker 2: was just something about the.
- 37:23Speaker 3: Way she was wearing these new boots and looking down
- 37:26Speaker 3: on Hoidy Jay, and I was like, I don't know
- 37:29Speaker 3: that I'm happy about this.
- 37:30Speaker 2: This is all a bit is.
- 37:33Speaker 3: It's incongruous, It felt incongruous, and it's just been bugging
- 37:38Speaker 3: me all day.
- 37:39Speaker 4: Right, it sort of makes her on a power or
- 37:41Speaker 4: more of a power with everybody else in your life.
- 37:43Speaker 4: I'm sure to have been the only one previously that
- 37:45Speaker 4: you didn't look up to it that around about.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Right, that's accurate mode.
- 37:49Speaker 3: She's always been taller than me, and I've noticed as
- 37:52Speaker 3: I've got older, my spine has collapsed, so I'm actually
- 37:55Speaker 3: losing height, whereas she's always been relatively tall, but never
- 37:59Speaker 3: that tall. And I'm literally now having to look upwards
- 38:03Speaker 3: towards the sky when I'm having my morning chitty chat
- 38:07Speaker 3: stroll with her.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Where is she sort of hunching down hands on her
- 38:11Speaker 2: knees and bending down and go what's that little fella?
- 38:14Speaker 3: That's exactly we got to the lights and I said
- 38:17Speaker 3: something and she did that.
- 38:18Speaker 2: She's she squatted down and had her hands on her
- 38:21Speaker 2: knees and was that what's that little hooodages? And it's
- 38:24Speaker 2: in here, take my hand. We're going to cross the road.
- 38:26Speaker 3: She did do that, Casey, because I think she was
- 38:29Speaker 3: feeling the.
- 38:30Speaker 2: Power of it. And it's just like, I don't know
- 38:32Speaker 2: that I'm happy about this change in the dynamic here.
- 38:35Speaker 2: You know what you should do? What's that? Take those
- 38:39Speaker 2: boots you bought, the fawny colored ones and get like
- 38:41Speaker 2: some three inch souls put on them. That'll show her.
- 38:45Speaker 2: I think they do them with a sort of stiletto heeling.
- 38:47Speaker 2: You're looking really sharp thing. Yeah, actually that's not a
- 38:50Speaker 2: bad idea for you. Take it to a what do
- 38:53Speaker 2: they called cobbler? Do we have cobbler still? And I'll
- 39:00Speaker 2: get it like a six inch heel here now we're talking.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Should do that. Here's audio slop.
- 39:10Speaker 1: The whole Achy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Tune in week days and four on radio.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Hold ikey, Yeah, welcome back. Your MESSI bagbones. How's your
- 39:18Speaker 2: Tuesday going good? I hope you're listening to the Big Show,
- 39:22Speaker 2: incidentally brought to you by rebook Here handcrafted burgers, loaded
- 39:27Speaker 2: fries and gormet eats that will change the game, just
- 39:34Speaker 2: like the cheddy ones. That's okay, what are you in
- 39:39Speaker 2: for the men? I'm heaving tackles. Tacos, Yes, tacos, Yeah, tacos.
- 39:46Speaker 2: Is that what you say it? Tacos? Tacos? Tacos? You
- 39:49Speaker 2: just saying your native accent, Yes, tacos. You know which
- 39:53Speaker 2: I am a fan of. I've got a soft or
- 39:57Speaker 2: hard shell, hard shell, hard shell, so hard shell sucks.
- 40:00Speaker 2: I suggested to my wife, actually the soft shell keysy
- 40:04Speaker 2: this afternoon. She said, no, why because she doesn't like
- 40:08Speaker 2: soft shells. She likes hard shells.
- 40:10Speaker 4: And I don't mind them Maketually, they're a treat. You
- 40:12Speaker 4: get them in the oven there, you hang them up
- 40:13Speaker 4: on the little bars, you heat them out there, a treat.
- 40:16Speaker 4: But they are a weird thing.
- 40:17Speaker 2: I was. It's been a bit of time mixedgo that
- 40:19Speaker 2: I don't have them over there. No weirdly enough at all.
- 40:23Speaker 3: Oh, and the funny thing is my wife doesn't like tacos.
- 40:26Speaker 3: But my daughter does and I do, and so she mean,
- 40:29Speaker 3: oh that's fine, her suggests you. Does she like reps?
- 40:34Speaker 2: Yes, she does. What she got against tacos it seems odd. Yes,
- 40:39Speaker 2: she likes reps. Does she like burritos? Yes? Yes, okay,
- 40:46Speaker 2: well you know she likes reps but doesn't like tacos.
- 40:48Speaker 2: A soft shell taco would probably please everyone, as I suggested.
- 40:52Speaker 2: But no, Kezy, you said you've had some cheerrible home
- 40:57Speaker 2: delivery stuff again box stuff. What you did in order?
- 41:01Speaker 3: And so they've given you very random food. What have
- 41:05Speaker 3: you got on the plate tonight?
- 41:06Speaker 2: Mate? I got sent my food bag there we forgot
- 41:08Speaker 2: to cancel. Oh yeah, just showed up with good yeah,
- 41:12Speaker 2: and then we opened it with oh what is this?
- 41:14Speaker 2: Three of them are Mexican? Actually different meals. My wife
- 41:16Speaker 2: is fewman like. Three of them meals either just not
- 41:20Speaker 2: three beef, mince and chili beans meals a rod to
- 41:23Speaker 2: know we're having nachos. So and last night we had
- 41:29Speaker 2: a Mexican beef bowl. Oh god, The good news is
- 41:33Speaker 2: it's all the same ingredients. Yeah, yeah, to be fair delicious, Magi.
- 41:37Speaker 2: What are you having? Well?

- 41:42Speaker 4: tonight I'm doing the same. So but although we are
- 41:44Speaker 4: having meat balls for dinner, but they're made out of tofu.
- 41:48Speaker 2: So it's tofu tofu bullers. Yeah, it's you. I've never
- 41:55Speaker 2: eaten toad. Well, it's an offensive it's an offensive thing.
- 41:59Speaker 4: So you can make it with other things, and the
- 42:00Speaker 4: other things can be yummy, but your your tofu will
- 42:03Speaker 4: give you a decent amount of texture and a decent
- 42:06Speaker 4: amount of protein.
- 42:08Speaker 3: It's an absorber of flavor. I do like a sort
- 42:12Speaker 3: of deep fried tofu in my hot pop.
- 42:14Speaker 2: I'll give you that. Yeah, I should try a yummy tofu.
- 42:17Speaker 4: Puff is a good street in a sort of a

- 43:54Speaker 4: in New Zealand, but I've had a lot of it
- 43:56Speaker 4: in Australia, a lot of it weird and bloody delicious,
- 44:00Speaker 4: and the thing about a hangy Oh and actually.
- 44:04Speaker 2: More to the point, a boil up. Yeah, now your
- 44:07Speaker 2: boilerp it.
- 44:09Speaker 4: Really starts starts coming into its own on day three,
- 44:12Speaker 4: So you're going to make sure you cook a lot

- 44:15Speaker 4: But it doesn't come into its own until day three. Anyway,
- 44:17Speaker 4: that sounds fairl.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Just it sounds good. I think I've had a hungy once.
- 44:25Speaker 2: Is that any good? Yeah?
- 44:26Speaker 8: It was.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Yeah, we used to have a steam box, which is
- 44:31Speaker 2: kind of a similar fan even though I know you
- 44:33Speaker 2: bury steamer box. When we lived on the natural stuff,
- 44:39Speaker 2: we had a little little boody disgusting, but it's pretty
- 44:42Speaker 2: cool that you could use the natural It would be
- 44:46Speaker 2: infused with the sulfur. Yes, it tasted like sulfur magi.
- 44:49Speaker 2: Thank you sulfur magi. In Japan they do a similar
- 44:52Speaker 2: thing and they cook these special eggs. Yeah, right, and
- 44:55Speaker 2: the sulfur some eggs today for breakfast. Oh my god,
- 45:00Speaker 2: really far out full circle here on the Big Show,
- 45:05Speaker 2: Get there feelers, Joe, Joseph here, j O is is
- 45:11Speaker 2: that Joseph yose Glacier. Wow, it's Franz Joseph the Glacier.
- 45:17Speaker 2: I'm having some scrumptious bacon and eggs on toast. Have
- 45:20Speaker 2: a good one. You know. Sometimes I'm fond of the basic.
- 45:24Speaker 2: The only thing I do there.
- 45:25Speaker 3: If I'm doing it for dinner, I check some beans
- 45:28Speaker 3: in there, to some baked beans.
- 45:29Speaker 2: I probably wouldn't.
- 45:30Speaker 4: And for some reason, when he's saying that it's dinner time,
- 45:34Speaker 4: I'm making it a sandwich on two pieces of white toast,
- 45:37Speaker 4: and I'm putting some tomato sauce on it.
- 45:39Speaker 2: I love a bacon SAMMI. Well, that's why I have
- 45:41Speaker 2: the beans, because I need saucy.
- 45:44Speaker 5: I need.
- 45:48Speaker 2: It's crazy when you're like watching someone just have an
- 45:50Speaker 2: absolute masa, you know what I mean, just absolutely it keeps. Yeah,
- 45:56Speaker 2: it's just so bad, so good.
- 45:58Speaker 8: Like.
- 46:00Speaker 2: Disagree.
- 46:01Speaker 5: Good a.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Guys.
- 46:01Speaker 4: My name is Carol, Carol, Sweet Caroline, Carol Christmas.
- 46:09Speaker 2: It's Carol Christmas, Christmas, Carol Christmas. Here I'm friends with
- 46:14Speaker 2: Yosa Frienz yose of Glacier. I'm having sausages and chips. No, yes, delicious.
- 46:20Speaker 2: I know love that meal. You know what.
- 46:22Speaker 4: I've been getting to my sausages a little bit lately
- 46:24Speaker 4: and sausages a year.
- 46:27Speaker 2: I made sausages.
- 46:28Speaker 4: I made bangers and mash the other night, and my
- 46:32Speaker 4: daughter has something else because she's a vegetarian by choice.
- 46:34Speaker 4: She doesn't like eating animals. Cooked up half a dozen
- 46:38Speaker 4: of the sausages. There by the time it was ready
- 46:40Speaker 4: to serve them up, there was only three left. Yeah, yeah,
- 46:44Speaker 4: let's just turn the kitchen. I'm just eating them all up.
- 46:46Speaker 3: Can I just say on that front? Because we did
- 46:48Speaker 3: have sauces and mass but devil sausages. But here's the thing,
- 46:52Speaker 3: fellas not out of the packet. We got a recipe
- 46:55Speaker 3: for it and made genuine devil sausages. They were the bomb,
- 47:00Speaker 3: good man, genuinely deviled.
- 47:01Speaker 2: You may have like some kind of fruit in them though,
- 47:04Speaker 2: they have apple? Yeah, ye, garbage? Good Hey guys, one
- 47:07Speaker 2: last one here, do you know? Can I just step
- 47:10Speaker 2: in there?
- 47:10Speaker 3: Key?
- 47:10Speaker 4: The other thing I don't like about a sausage is
- 47:13Speaker 4: at no point of they fried, so they don't have
- 47:15Speaker 4: the crispy outside.
- 47:16Speaker 2: Oh no, we fry them first and then debble them,
- 47:19Speaker 2: and then you're a devil sneaky be. You're still way
- 47:24Speaker 2: out of line about the bacon and eggs thing though,
- 47:27Speaker 2: and beans? Why did you make a Cat.
- 47:29Speaker 1: And the whole Achy Big Show with Jon, Mike and
- 47:33Speaker 1: Keysy tune in week days at four on Radio hod Ike.
- 47:37Speaker 2: Stained on the Big Show this Tuesday evening. Oh it's

- 48:01Speaker 2: it's cool. Cheers, Jas, It was the part about the hoodie. Now.
- 48:04Speaker 2: The reason I've asked Pug Sun to come in the
- 48:06Speaker 2: Feelers is because he's made an interesting life change in
- 48:10Speaker 2: the past couple of days and I'm really proud of him.
- 48:12Speaker 8: Pugs, you want to talk us through it. First of all, Chris,
- 48:14Speaker 8: thank you for bringing it to these guys attention. I
- 48:16Speaker 8: did want to tell everybody as a team, but it
- 48:18Speaker 8: kind of came out with Chris a bit earlier. And
- 48:21Speaker 8: I really trust you guys who've been doing the show
- 48:23Speaker 8: for a long time now, and I figured this is
- 48:25Speaker 8: probably a good safe space for me to kind of
- 48:29Speaker 8: bring it up and hopefully you guys can back me,
- 48:31Speaker 8: hold me accountable things like that. So I and this
- 48:35Speaker 8: is the decision for me and my partner. We've both
- 48:38Speaker 8: decided to make this call. But I have decided that
- 48:42Speaker 8: I am going to get off the booze.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Off the booze fellas of the.
- 48:49Speaker 8: Thank you for two weeks.
- 48:55Speaker 2: For two weeks. Yeah, so I'm doing a dry Fortnite. Wow,
- 49:00Speaker 2: a drive Fortnite? Have you ever heard of that? Fellers?
- 49:02Speaker 2: A drive Fortnite? Get out pugs? Well, no, we didn't
- 49:08Speaker 2: like James Jay, so why why are fortnite pugs? Why
- 49:12Speaker 2: a Fortnite?
- 49:13Speaker 8: So obviously there's a lot of events on the social
- 49:16Speaker 8: calendar for my partner and I and we sort of
- 49:18Speaker 8: worked carry on, and we sort of worked out when
- 49:23Speaker 8: there was a good two week block where we didn't
- 49:25Speaker 8: have as many social commitments that would involve having a
- 49:30Speaker 8: beer with people as we usually do, and we thought,
- 49:33Speaker 8: you know what, let's do it. You know, we're also
- 49:34Speaker 8: on a bit of a healthcare in the moment, so
- 49:36Speaker 8: there's alignes well with that.
- 49:38Speaker 2: So we're just sort of trying to.
- 49:38Speaker 8: Recalibrate, take a moment, and hopefully come out the other
- 49:43Speaker 8: side shiny and chrome.
- 49:44Speaker 2: Yeah, nice and the little Another little update here failers.
- 49:48Speaker 2: How's has it been going for you? You've been off
- 49:50Speaker 2: the beers, it's been all good. Yeah, I've been off
- 49:51Speaker 2: the beer since Sunday. Great, So that's what two days
- 49:54Speaker 2: good work. How's it going for your partner?
- 49:56Speaker 8: Last night she realized that she has quite a few
- 49:59Speaker 8: client events that she is to go to this week,
- 50:01Speaker 8: so she's parked it. So she had one day off
- 50:05Speaker 8: the person. Now she's back on it again. Yep, and
- 50:08Speaker 8: you've had two days off. Yeah, but I'm flying man,
- 50:10Speaker 8: I'm committed. So you had to be on Sunday, out
- 50:13Speaker 8: of wine on Sunday and they came around.
- 50:15Speaker 4: It's been one day off, one day, twenty four hours.
- 50:21Speaker 2: So your partner hasn't even had a full twenty four
- 50:22Speaker 2: hours off yet. No, no, no, she said, a full
- 50:24Speaker 2: twenty hour.
- 50:24Speaker 8: It's Tuesday now, so twenty four hours ago she was
- 50:27Speaker 8: already off the bus.
- 50:29Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yes, that makes sense to me. How do
- 50:31Speaker 2: you feel about that? Jace, get out pad.
