🚨 Gold & SILVER Investor! 🚨 - YOU Ready for THIS - (MASSIVE Update for Gold & Silver, ELON MUSK) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:01
Silver and gold investors, we have massive news stories today
0:05
that will affect the price of silver, gold and the precious
0:08
metal mining stocks will affect your life.
0:12
Elon Musk major warnings, Elon Musk, Vivak Ramaswami, big news
0:18
that will send shock waves through the US economy will
0:22
impact things like inflation. Oh, and we have big inflation
0:25
news this morning as well. We're going to cover it all and
0:29
talk about how it's going to impact you, your life, and the
0:32
metals. Thank you for being here.
0:35
I have a special sponsor this morning.
0:37
We have a special sponsor for this live stream video, 4 Nines
0:40
Gold. We'll talk about them a little
0:42
bit later, but let's start with talking about what's going on
0:45
with Elon Musk. Big, major breaking news
0:48
overnight. And guys, this will have massive
0:52
impacts on the United States economy, on inflation and on the
0:56
price of precious metals. They're calling it the Manhattan
0:59
Project of our time. Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswami to
1:05
head the Department of Government efficiency.
1:09
OK, They've been selected by president-elect Donald Trump to
1:12
head the Department of Government efficiency.
1:15
Doji where they will quote slash excess regulations, cut wasteful
1:20
expenditures and restructure federal agencies calling it the
1:24
potential Manhattan Project of our time.
1:27
There they are Vivac and Elon, but wait till you get a load of
1:30
this. Elon previously predicted that
1:33
he could cut 2 trillion from the US federal budget.
1:36
Guys that would send massive shock waves through the US
1:40
economy. We're we're we are heading into
1:42
a period of so much uncertainty. It is going to be crazy here in
1:48
the next year and a half, and they're talking about completing
1:51
this around July 4th, 2026, about a year and a half from
1:56
now. But listen to what Vivec had
1:58
said in the past. He said on day one, instantly
2:01
fire 50% of federal bureaucrats. Here's how.
2:05
If your Social Security number ends in an odd number, you're
2:09
fired the downsize government by half.
2:11
Absolutely nothing will break as a result.
2:16
Now, look, we know Elon Musk is also very concerned about the
2:20
economy. He's put out some massive,
2:22
massive warnings as well. And again, this all feeds back
2:26
to the devaluation of the US dollar or this oops, uh oh,
2:31
knock something over there, this going down in value.
2:36
And when this goes down in value, absolutely this, right,
2:41
silver, gold, precious metals go up in value, go up in price.
2:46
Let's let's take a quick look at what else Elon has coming for
2:50
us. Hold on here.
2:53
There we go. We're going to talk more about
2:57
this tomorrow, but this is also shocking.
2:59
And what's even more shocking about it is it comes from
3:02
CNNCNN. Yeah, we jokingly call it the
3:06
children's news network, but they're saying Elon Musk wants
3:10
to radically reshape who controls America's money supply.
3:14
Why is this important, right? Because if we start messing with
3:17
the money system, messing with the money supply, who knows how
3:21
that could unfold? But Donald Trump returned.
3:25
Donald Trump's return to the White House has already carried
3:29
the potential for sweeping changes in the Federal Reserve,
3:33
right? Are they going to end the Fed?
3:35
But now a growing question is not how the central bank will
3:38
operate under Trump, but if it will even continue to operate at
3:44
all. This is CNNCNN talking about the
3:48
end of the Federal Reserve. Elon Musk, a key Trump backer
3:53
who expected to have is expected to have considerable sway in
3:57
helping shape Trump's policies. Well, now we know, right?
4:00
He's heading up the Department of Government Efficiency
4:03
included A-100 emoji while re sharing Republican Senator Mike
4:08
Lee of Utah's post on X calling for abolishing the Fed.
4:13
So yeah, the senator from Utah is put a senator, right?
4:18
Ron Paul put it forth like what, 12 years ago?
4:21
Legislation to end the Fed? The senator from Utah is now
4:25
putting forth legislation to end the Fed and he's got other
4:28
politicians now. When Ron Paul did it, called to
4:31
end the Fed, nobody joined him. Now this senator from Utah is
4:36
doing the same thing and other congressmen and women and I
4:39
believe some other senators are helping Co sponsor this bill.
4:43
Things are getting interesting. And think about this guy CNN
4:47
running an article about potentially ending the Fed.
4:50
What else is Elon warning us about and how will this impact
4:54
silver and gold? Remember, he previously said
4:57
it's a financial emergency. We need to cut government
5:00
spending immediately because the reality is that all government
5:04
spending is actually taxation. Sometimes people think of it's
5:09
of it is it's taxation and some of it's not, but it's all
5:12
taxation and it all creates. As you and I know, inflation and
5:18
inflation will be the word of the day for silver and gold as
5:21
we head into 2025. And I believe we will see
5:25
spectacular gains in the precious metals.
5:29
Elon Musk also previous previously said this is a
5:32
crisis. the US national debt has increased by 473 billion over
5:38
the last three weeks. This was on October 22nd.
5:41
But look at this chart, right? Look at that's our national
5:45
debt, right? Look at, I mean, we're just
5:47
seeing skyrocketing numbers come out of the national debt.
5:50
Now this morning, this morning we got the official official.
5:56
And by the way, thank you basement dwellers for being here
5:59
today. Thanks for being part of this
6:01
group, part of the tribe, part of the the club, however you
6:04
want to think of it. I know you love to hear about
6:07
silver, gold, precious metals. That's what we have in common.
6:10
So thank you for being here. I'll put out new content pretty
6:13
much every day. So if you want to get up to date
6:16
on what's going on, please subscribe to the channel, give
6:19
the video a thumbs up, leave a comment in the comment section.
6:22
Make some friends here in the basement.
6:23
There are some super smart, super good people like you who
6:27
like to talk about silver, gold and precious metal mining
6:30
stocks. Now let's talk about inflation,
6:34
because this morning we got this DPI number.
6:39
We're not going to spend a lot of time on this because CPI as
6:44
it comes from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, I mean,
6:47
isn't it pretty much generally accepted that it's a complete
6:51
fabricated number? We'll, we'll say that nicely.
6:55
October inflation data meets forecast.
6:58
Okay, keeping the Fed, this is the big key.
7:00
This is why this is so important, keeping the Fed on
7:03
track for December rate cut, right?
7:06
Because that perception, all this is managed fantasyland
7:10
economics. But that perception that the Fed
7:12
is now back on track for a December rate cut is positive in
7:16
the short term for silver and gold and precious metal mining
7:21
stocks, right? We know in the long run
7:23
inflation will rule the day. But let's just quickly look
7:26
here. This is almost humorous at this
7:29
point. The Bureau of Labor and
7:31
Statistics on Wednesday morning, just about an hour ago, released
7:35
a statistics that showed the consumer price index increased
7:38
by 2.6% over the prior year in October, which was a little bit
7:44
of an uptick. Now think about this two things
7:49
#1 inflation is going up almost 3%, OK, almost 3% #2 right?
7:59
Think about what we talked about earlier with Elon Musk and the
8:03
senator from Utah on this potential to end the Fed, right?
8:06
Why do we have to have inflation anyway?
8:08
They're like, oh, it's great. You know, the Fed, number one,
8:11
has given up on its fight on inflation.
8:14
That's obvious, right? They're not at their 2% target
8:17
rate, right? We're almost closer to 3% at
8:21
this point. And think about this.
8:23
Isn't this theft from you and me, people that work to earn
8:28
U.S. dollars and as soon as you get those U.S. dollars, they're
8:32
becoming worth less and less. I mean, even a 3%, which we know
8:37
is a fabricated number, right? We know the real number.
8:41
I heard Rick rule the other day say it's closer to 7%.
8:45
And we're not even factoring in the impact of taxes that we pay
8:48
on everything, 7% inflation. We're, we're, we're, we're being
8:53
robbed from, sorry, I hate to break it, break it to you.
8:58
If you work right, if you're part of the minority in the
9:02
United States or did work and earned U.S. dollars, I think
9:06
everybody's pretty much worked at some point.
9:08
The system is set up then to rob that from you.
9:11
If it goes at 3%, seven percent, 20%, like some people said, like
9:17
unofficially was the inflation rate in 2022, they're robbing
9:22
value from you. Now, you know, and we'll get off
9:24
on a slight tangent here. The way to protect yourself from
9:27
having that value rob from you is with this because for
9:30
thousands of years, silver, gold, precious metals have
9:34
protected us from inflation. Let's go take a look at the CME
9:39
dead watch tool because that will give us insight into what
9:45
the odds are. I want to refresh this.
9:47
This is Chicago market deal Fed watch tool.
9:50
As you can see, the next Fed meeting will be in 35 days and
9:56
three hours. The countdown's on.
9:58
We can't wait to hear from our friend Jerome.
10:00
OK, this is moved even this morning.
10:02
What this shows right here. Make sure I've got you on the
10:06
right screen, which I do right here.
10:10
Let's get the crayons out for a second, OK?
10:14
This is the 82% chance of a rate cut down to here 4.25 to 4.5
10:22
because the current rate is at 4.5 to 4.75.
10:26
So this would be 1/4 percent, 25 basis points.
10:29
However, you that's the fancy way to say it, by the way, we
10:32
call it a quarter of a percent. The Wall Street people call it
10:36
25 basis points. This is a 17% chance.
10:42
As you can see, those two numbers match of of of no rate
10:46
change of 0% change. So what we got this morning,
10:50
even though it's a bunch of BS out of the out of the Bureau of
10:53
Labor and Statistics when it comes to the inflation numbers
10:59
is actually good for silver and gold here in the coming month,
11:03
right? So it'd be interesting.
11:04
Now is the bottom end on the silver and gold price.
11:07
I want to go out to check on pin back.
11:09
So we're going to check on the silver and gold price and then I
11:11
want to talk to you about today's sponsor 4 Nines Gold.
11:14
It's a very interesting company, very interesting opportunity,
11:18
but let's go out at the Pembacs and press the Magic button
11:21
Channel sponsor Pembacs, where you can get your hands on gold,
11:24
silver, platinum, group metals, right?
11:27
Ultra competitive pricing, great selection, a company you can
11:30
trust and a company you can also know that your fellow basement
11:34
dwellers have given me overwhelming positive feedback
11:39
on. So oh boy.
11:40
Last we checked, we were down $20 on the gold price.
11:43
You guys ready for the update? Take your blood pressure
11:46
medicine. We're going to press the
11:47
Pembac's magic button. And all right, gold's up $1.40,
11:52
silver only down 30 dollars, $30.63.
11:56
You know, we're hanging in there, guys.
11:58
We are hanging in there. The dust is still settling.
12:01
The gold and silver market are digesting massive changes the
12:06
the Trump landslide victory, which was really a Black Swan or
12:11
at least a grey swan in my book. There's a lot going on.
12:14
I want to talk to you right now about the sponsor of today's
12:18
video, 4 Nines Gold, and I'm going to pull up their website.
12:24
Let's make sure we're on the right page, which we are.
12:27
This is a a company that I've I've become very interested in.
12:30
It's a very unique proposition. They have a gold a mining
12:36
exploration project in California, and I'm going to
12:40
tell you all about it here in a second, but this is their
12:42
website, 4 nines gold gold dot cai have a link to that and some
12:46
other literature in the description of this video.
12:50
Let me tell you what I find interesting about this company
12:53
#1 lately the stock has been on quite a tear.
12:58
This is their Canadian listing, FNAU.
13:02
And as you can see, and as of this morning, last time I
13:05
checked, the price was actually closer to $0.48 Canadian.
13:08
But as you can see here over this the last short period of
13:12
time the stock is moved from about, I don't know, 2423 cents
13:16
all the way up to 46. But this morning measured in
13:20
Canadian dollars, it was closer to $0.49 per share.
13:24
Here's their website. Look, this company has they're
13:27
they're reviving a historic gold and gold and silver project in
13:33
California. They're breathing new life into
13:35
into the Hayden Hill project. It's a past producing gold and
13:40
silver property. And like I said, it's in
13:42
California, was previously owned by a company called Amex.
13:46
And when it was in production, right, it was like four or five
13:49
years, it produced 480,000 ounces of gold and 1.3 million
13:54
ounces of silver. But then in 19, around 1997,
14:00
Kinross, right? You know, Kinross, they're one
14:02
of these massive gold mining companies.
14:04
They bought out the company that owned this project and kind of
14:08
mothballed it, like put it on hold.
14:10
They were more interested in some other projects that the
14:13
company had. So it focused on other
14:15
properties and they left this Hayden Hill project just kind of
14:19
sitting there under the radar. OK, so it hasn't been drill
14:22
tested in like 27 years. It presents a real rare,
14:27
untested opportunity in a prime area.
14:31
Again, you know, there was nothing wrong with this project.
14:34
It was just that that that Ken Ross was more interested in a
14:38
couple other projects that the company had.
14:39
So they they just kind of put this thing on hold and it sat
14:42
there now. 4 Nines Gold recently acquired this project on very
14:48
favorable terms. And what's exciting about it is
14:51
they're going to retest, re evaluate the the this this
14:56
situation. They're going to re evaluate how
14:59
the deposit is defined. And there's a lot of potential,
15:03
right? Because now we can use modern
15:05
exploration, exploration techniques and understanding of
15:09
this type of deposit. This is a low sulfidation
15:12
deposit have advanced significantly since over the
15:16
last 27 years since the last time that this project was was
15:21
drill tested and and really anyone had spent any time
15:24
looking at it. So it's an exciting opportunity
15:28
like for a fresh set of eyes to come in and look at at this
15:32
project. I'm going to play this little
15:34
video here. You won't have any audio, but if
15:37
you go to their website, I would highly recommend I better pause
15:43
that this is a great video to watch which gives a great
15:49
description of what the company is doing right now with the
15:53
project. Now California, a lot of people
15:55
mistakenly think that California is not a good place to to have a
15:59
mine. That is dead wrong.
16:01
There's over 700 active mines in California right now.
16:04
Gold mines. It's a prime location and
16:07
actually a gold mining friendly environment.
16:10
And remember, right, this Maiden Hill project, it is gold and
16:14
silver in the ground in California, OK?
16:18
And this was a past producing mine that had done very, very
16:22
well and with new a new set of eyes coming in to look at this,
16:27
look at this project, right? Look at it with just more modern
16:31
exploration techniques. But there's also this idea that
16:34
maybe the previous operators weren't looking at the project
16:38
even back then in a proper way, didn't have a full understanding
16:43
of kind of how this deposit had developed.
16:46
They got an expert team with a proven track record, right?
16:49
They got a board and technical team with a big global track
16:52
record of discovering and advancing gold to spot deposits,
16:57
especially epithermal systems, which gives Hayden a strong
17:01
foundation for growth. Their share structure, there's
17:04
only 18,000,000 shares outstanding.
17:07
Remember guys, we are in a thriving gold market right now.
17:11
Even a $2600 gold new eyes, new investors are moving into the
17:16
gold mining, gold exploration sector.
17:19
And really the small companies, right?
17:22
The smaller mining companies have yet to, to have the full
17:26
benefit of, of, of, of investors moving into the sector, right?
17:31
I mean, it's going to take just a little bit of money moving
17:33
into the junior sector for big, big potential capital
17:37
appreciation in share prices. I think it's a great, a great
17:42
opportunity. You know, it's a, it's a, it's a
17:44
deposit that was kind of ignored for the last 27 years, flew
17:49
under the radar, right? Remember, it was also likely
17:53
kind of misinterpreted by the previous operators over 25 years
17:57
ago. It's in California, it's gold
18:01
and silver in the ground. They also have a large data set
18:06
of, of, of of drill results from the previous operators, 327,000
18:12
feet of exploration drilling from 742 holes.
18:16
That was a major investment that was made by the past producers
18:20
and it's going to be interpreted through again a new set of eyes.
18:23
And I hear the company talk about bonanza grade
18:26
mineralization. So it's an exciting opportunity.
18:29
If you want to learn more about the company, let me let me get
18:33
back here. Hold on guys.
18:35
Again, the website 4ninesgold.ca here are the ticker symbols in
18:41
Canada, FNAU in the US on the OTCFNAUF.
18:47
I've got links to the website, I got links to some other write
18:51
ups and literature about the company in the description of
18:53
this video. Look, I'm not giving financial
18:56
advice. You know that, right?
18:57
This is a sponsored video. But this company really piqued
19:02
my interest. I think they're in a unique
19:04
position, right? Especially this is in the United
19:06
States. This is a past producer and this
19:10
is a fresh set of eyes, an experienced team, right, with a
19:14
great track record looking at this project.
19:17
I think it could have some exciting prospects for the
19:19
future. Again, do your own due
19:21
diligence. I'm not giving financial advice,
19:24
but I will tell you it's one that I'm going to be keeping a
19:26
close, close eye on. And let's talk about, let's talk
19:30
about something I think is very interesting and this relates to
19:34
four nines gold. And let's talk about how gold
19:37
and silver have reacted during previous major market meltdowns
19:43
because when we take a look, when we when we take a look,
19:49
hold on here. Let me go back and here we are.
19:52
OK, gold corrections, right? Like now we know, right?
19:56
Look guys, since Donald Trump was elected president.
20:00
The gold price has gone down by what, 7%?
20:03
Oh my gosh, you know, and it feels like the sky is falling,
20:07
but is it really? Let's look at this through the
20:09
lens of previous bull markets. We did this with silver
20:12
yesterday, but let's look at this through the lens of
20:15
previous bull markets and see if we should really be so concerned
20:21
with this recent 7% down. This is a chart from gold
20:25
silver. This shows gold corrections
20:28
which had occurred during the 2009, the 2011 big massive move
20:33
in the gold price. Remember we went from $800.00 an
20:36
ounce for gold in January of O 9 all the way up to what, 1900 in
20:42
September of 2011? So that's what about three
20:47
years, right? Massive, massive move in the
20:49
gold price. But look at this here, here's a
20:52
7% drawdown like we've just had. OK, let me get the, let me get
20:56
quickly. I'll get the crayons out right
20:59
here, here. Are we right here right now?
21:02
Cuz that's about the drawdown that we've recently had.
21:05
And look at all these other during that three-year process
21:08
where the net move in the gold price right was up by about 12.
21:16
Let's see if I can do this 1200 dollars over that time period
21:23
right We had we had drawdowns 8 percent, 10% right here in
21:29
January of 2010 four percent another 8%, another 7%.
21:35
So we need to keep that in perspective while we're while
21:38
we're all a little nervous and jerky right.
21:40
Are you feeling nervous and scared?
21:42
You know, a little scared about what's going on in the gold
21:44
market. Well, the reality is, right, The
21:47
reality is that in any bull market there are going to be
21:50
pull backs. Now look, if in February or
21:53
March we're talking about a gold price at 24123 hundred, then we
21:57
can get real concerned. But for right now, right as we
22:01
stand and let's go on and take another quick look.
22:03
Channel sponsor pin backs. All right, we're still at $2600
22:13
gold. Now let's move on to silver.
22:20
We did this extensively yesterday.
22:22
Silver is at an 11% drawdown. But and I looked at it, you know
22:26
silver. Yeah, since Trump elected down
22:28
11%. I know it stinks.
22:30
I'm with you. It's no fun, but just look at
22:32
all these numbers again from January of O 9 through the same
22:36
time period where silver went from 12 to 50 right 12% eleven
22:41
percent 14121214. I mean the same thing is
22:45
absolutely true with silver. This is another way to look at
22:49
the at the gold bull market that happened from 2001 through 2011.
22:56
Now during that period, gold went from what about $300.00 all
22:59
the way up to 1800 nineteen $100 and again look at all these draw
23:04
downs that occurred 897. This is where we are right now.
23:08
Let me draw a line on here. Hold on, this is this is
23:11
critical and we're even going to change the color here, OK?
23:17
And all right, so here is 7% wrong, go down a little bit.
23:29
There we go. That's a 7% draw down.
23:32
That is where we are right now in the gold price.
23:35
Look, during that period, how many 7% draw downs we had
23:40
probably 20. I'm not going to count them all,
23:42
but some of these, some of these price draw downs were much more
23:46
significant. 16%, twelve percent, 27 percent, 15%.
23:51
I mean, guys, I know it's you know, it's been a little scary,
23:56
no doubt about it. However, the reality is what's
24:00
going on right now is normal healthy behavior and sometimes,
24:04
right, you've been through that in life.
24:06
I'm 54, I don't know how old you are.
24:08
Normal healthy development and behavior includes some tough
24:12
periods, right? That's how we learn, that's how
24:15
we grow. What's going on right now, if we
24:18
are indeed still in a bull market for gold and silver and
24:23
the precious metal mining stocks is called a consolidation.
24:27
The weak hands are selling, right?
24:30
Anybody who wanted to get out of gold at 2700 or 2600 is gone,
24:35
right? And, and, and what we're
24:37
building, if we are indeed still in a bull market is a strong
24:41
base of people who are going to hold their silver at $31.00, who
24:46
are going to hold their gold at 2600.
24:49
And as we move, think of all this uncertainty that's facing
24:53
us. I mean, if, if, if, if Elon Musk
24:55
and Vivac do half of what they say, it's going to create
25:00
earthquake. You know, it's, it's going to be
25:02
dumbfounding what could happen here in the coming year.
25:06
Right on top of that, guys, we can't forget.
25:10
We can't forget this boy. Let's go take a look.
25:13
Let's go on our daily field trip and let's okay, right, We're
25:17
getting there. It's gonna be just a matter of
25:19
days when we can. I don't wanna use the word
25:22
celebrate, right? We're gonna be rattled by the
25:25
fact that we've reached $36 trillion in debt in the United
25:30
States. Interest on the debt, right?
25:32
It's going to be a trillion dollars soon.
25:34
This is not going anywhere. We are in for a major period of
25:39
uncertainty. Everybody was wrong about 2024,
25:44
saying it was going to be a crazy year.
25:47
Now that everything is settling down, do you think maybe 2025
25:52
and possibly here, right? We still have 6-7 weeks in 2024,
25:58
but that that could prove to be the real crazy.
26:01
A lot of uncertainty and uncertainty.
26:04
The reason why it's important as a silver and gold investor to
26:07
monitor the uncertainty in the world is because silver and
26:11
gold, all the precious metals thrive on uncertainty.
26:15
Here's the old dollar to silver ratio.
26:17
Right now we're approaching 990. Again, that number represents
26:23
the amount of dollars being created via the M2 money supply
26:28
for each one ounce of silver that the world is creating.
26:35
So for each one ounce of silver being created right now, we got
26:38
989. Of course, right, Because we
26:42
like our list, we're going to go out here and do an update.
26:45
Today is the 13th 11-13-24 and we are at 989.
26:57
Wow, just continues again. For those of you who are new, we
27:00
started tracking this on the 21st about 3 weeks ago, 21st of
27:04
October, we were at 729 paper Unicorn fart dust make believe
27:09
Fiat dollars for each one ounce of silver.
27:12
Now we're almost at 1000. Before I forget, I want to say
27:16
thank you to the moderators who are helping out today, Jake from
27:19
Jake's Custom Parts. Susie Silver Susie, right, my
27:23
friend, right, the one and only Ann and Annie Oakley.
27:25
And Susie's more than my friend. She's also my wife.
27:28
Annie Oakley. You're the one and only, but
27:30
you're not my wife, as you know and probably are grateful for.
27:34
And big Tim, the Silver Shire. But most important, you guys, we
27:38
are a group, right? We're a little, a little, a
27:40
little tribe that gets together on a daily basis.
27:44
And we have this bond, right? This common interest, which is
27:48
gold and silver. But I'm telling you, you got a
27:50
lot more. The people that are in this
27:52
channel are smart, intelligent. I can tell you what Google tells
27:56
me, right? Advertisers are willing to spend
27:59
a lot of money to get their ads in front of you, right?
28:02
That means you're smart people that are respected not only by
28:05
me and your fellow community, but also by the whole
28:08
advertising community. Somebody pointed that out to me
28:12
yesterday. So congratulations, basement
28:14
dwellers, your your upper echelon.
28:17
But we knew that all along. Let's talk about what happens
28:20
during are we are we headed towards like a major economic
28:24
issue in this country, a major crash potential in this country
28:31
for the economy? Many people believe so we're
28:33
going to look at some data later.
28:35
That is downright frightening, OK.
28:38
And and when the crash happens, if the crash happens, if a major
28:42
recession, what about a depression?
28:44
Can you even fathom that? Like if you noticed, nobody
28:48
talks about depressions anymore. But if that were to happen, how
28:52
will gold perform? How will silver perform?
28:54
How will the precious metal mining stocks perform?
28:58
Everybody says old gold's got to go down gold mining stocks
29:01
because that's what happened during the great financial
29:03
crisis. That's what happened during the
29:04
C19 crisis. Not necessarily.
29:08
OK, Not necessarily. Let's take a look at some data
29:11
that indicates otherwise to us. This comes from Kevin Smith.
29:16
He's a Chartered financial analyst.
29:18
We're going to run through a number of charts that he posted
29:20
on X. First, let's look at this one.
29:25
This Is Us gold miner shines in the Great Depression.
29:28
On the left is the Dow Jones industrial average during the
29:31
Great Depression. As you can see, right, that was
29:34
the big market crash in yellow is Homestake mining one of the
29:39
biggest? That was like the Barrack or
29:41
Newmont Mining of the time, big gold mining company.
29:44
How did it do right? As you can see in 1926 it was
29:47
much lower, but as the market crashed, the blue line, the
29:51
general market of the Dow Jones Homestake Mining did quite well.
29:56
But wait, there's more. There is more, which indicates
30:01
to us. OK, 1973 to 1974, again, the
30:06
blue line, the S&P 500, right? How old were you in 1973?
30:11
I was four years old. Not quite.
30:13
I was more following Sesame Street than the markets, but
30:17
none the less the market had a horrible downdraft, right down
30:22
by almost 50% as you can see here.
30:25
Make sure I've got you on the right screen, which I do.
30:29
OK. And how about the Baron's Gold
30:33
Mining Index? This is an index that tracked
30:35
all the gold mine again during that period.
30:38
It did super well. Gold performed well.
30:41
Gold mining stocks performed well during a period of of great
30:46
economic calamity, the early 70s, and we're in worse shape
30:50
now on any metric than we were back then.
30:53
Let's take a look at this one entire 1970 to 1980 bull market
30:58
for gold miners verse the S&P 500.
31:01
Remember right, the gold price went went ballistic during that
31:06
period and some people including me think we could be in for that
31:09
again. Again, the S&P 500 stagnant
31:12
basically. And that's what I think we're
31:14
probably going to see with the S&P 500 over the next 10 years.
31:18
But look at the yellow, the Baron's gold mining look right,
31:21
that index went up from 1:20 to 960.
31:25
The that's about an 8 X 8 * 800% increase when the general
31:30
markets remained stagnant. OK, we got more.
31:35
We've got more. What about the tech bubble?
31:38
OK, the blue line is the NASDAQ crashed.
31:42
OK, this time period goes from 2000 up until about the great
31:46
financial crisis, the NASDAQ the blue line crashes after after
31:51
the after the tech bubble burst in 1999, 2002, 1001 and on the
31:56
on the on the right, the yellow line is the Philly.
32:00
What is that called the Philadelphia gold, the X AU
32:03
Philadelphia gold and silver index.
32:06
It did very well, right? The NASDAQ came back a little
32:09
bit, but look, look how you know, look how the gold and
32:13
silver index way outperformed and that was during the tech
32:16
bubble burst. And finally, OK, this just shows
32:22
the junior explorers, This is for the metals explorers.
32:27
This is the TSXV. The the Toronto Stock Exchange
32:31
venture exchanges is where a lot of the junior companies are
32:35
listed, right? There's a lot of junior
32:37
companies there, the junior sector and that wouldn't even
32:40
include companies, although I don't believe they're on the
32:43
TSXV, but they're a junior exploration mining company. 4
32:48
nines gold that we talked about earlier are are that would be
32:53
the yellow line, OK. And that's where we are right
32:58
now. This shows the gross
33:00
undervaluation of where we are now compared to the blue line.
33:04
I mean, look at that. Look how high the yellow line
33:07
was in O seven O 8 that again that's the kind of an index of
33:10
the junior explorers, how much higher and look how the S&P 500
33:15
is now gone. Look at this gap.
33:18
If this were to catch up to this, right, if the junior
33:21
mining stocks were to catch up or even surpass, you're looking
33:25
at at least seven times return. Again, I'm not giving financial
33:30
advice, I'm not making predictions.
33:32
I'm just kind of telling you what's going on.
33:34
And this shows the lag and exploration companies which will
33:39
impact the price of silver and gold because there's been so
33:41
little capital invested in the exploration segment of the
33:46
silver and gold mining sector that the pipeline for future
33:49
supply is very, very limited. And again, the the turquoise
33:55
colored line is the TSX Venture, okay, the yellows Spot gold,
34:01
Gray is spot silver and the blue is the overall Philadelphia.
34:06
These are the bigger companies, gold and silver index.
34:10
See, you can see it's lagging. OK, there's the gold and silver
34:13
price, it's lagging. But the juniors, the turquoise
34:17
color, they are way, way down. And again, if you look back here
34:21
right back in 2011, they were the ones that were exceeding.
34:25
If we were to see that happen again, guys, it could mean
34:29
explosive returns for the junior silver mining development stage,
34:34
exploration stage companies and the junior gold mining
34:39
exploration and development stage companies.
34:41
They have all just been. They, they are they, they have
34:44
been, they're very, very attractive valuations.
34:49
Now, you know, again, I'm not giving financial advice.
34:51
I own a lot of these companies, a lot of them both in the silver
34:55
and gold sector. I would have told you the same
34:58
thing 18 months ago, you know, and a lot of these stocks were
35:02
twice as high as they are now. Trust me, I eat my own cooking,
35:05
you know, you know, channel sponsor First Mining Gold and
35:08
Fortuna Mining are two stocks that I own extensive positions
35:13
and myself. You know, the gold mining stocks
35:15
in general are risky, right? Gold mining stocks definitely
35:19
fit into that category as well. But at the same time, they do
35:23
offer and that's why I hold them.
35:26
I think the two things a great value right now.
35:29
Warren Buffett always said, you know, price is what you pay,
35:32
value is what you get. And I think with the junior
35:35
mining sector, although Fortuna Mining is more of an
35:38
intermediate producer at this point, they're still way
35:42
undervalued. You know, price is what you pay,
35:44
value is what you get. And when I compare these mining
35:47
stocks to tech stocks or anything like that, it's
35:50
unbelievable, right, What you get.
35:53
Now, look, I have a degree in accounting.
35:55
I work for one of the big four accounting firms.
35:56
I'm not bragging. What I'm telling you is I know
35:59
what I'm talking about. Just like a musician can read a
36:03
sheet of music, I can't read music.
36:05
I can't read a sheet of music. But you hand me a balance sheet,
36:09
a cash flow statement or an income statement from a publicly
36:13
traded company, I can read that. And when I read these statements
36:17
from these junior mining companies, in my opinion, the
36:22
value proposition is absolutely astounding.
36:25
But the reason why? Even if, even if, you know, all
36:28
of us have this core interest in the silver and gold price, it's
36:32
so critical and such good news for us to remember that when we
36:38
look at these junior mining stocks, how that impacts long
36:41
term, even intermediate term at this point, the price of gold
36:45
and silver. You know why?
36:48
Because look, there's been no money, very little money.
36:52
Remember those charts we looked at going into the junior mining
36:56
sector? I got news for you, buttercup.
37:01
Guess where the supply of future gold comes from?
37:05
Guess where the supply of future silver comes from?
37:09
Excuse me, I had to take a little break there.
37:13
It comes from exploration and development.
37:15
If there's no money or very little money going into that
37:18
sector, there's not a lot of exploration and development
37:21
going on. To further complicate the
37:24
matter, the big mining companies, the Newmont and the
37:27
Barracks and the Agnico Eagles, the big mining silver and gold
37:30
mining companies, right? They've not been investing in
37:34
exploration or development. And you know why?
37:37
Because they were fighting to survive over the last decade.
37:40
They were more focused on paying off debt, shoring up their
37:44
balance sheets. So you've got these big massive
37:47
gold mining companies and they need every time they dig up an
37:50
ounce of gold or silver, this will impact the price of gold
37:53
and silver in the coming 5 to 10 years, maybe five months.
37:56
But none the less, every time they dig up an ounce of gold or
37:59
ounce of silver, it's gone forever, right?
38:03
It's a depletion business. They have to find more gold,
38:06
more silver. And if they haven't themselves
38:09
been investing in exploration in the junior sector has been
38:13
neglected, right, The companies that are around in the junior
38:19
sector, companies like first mining gold companies like 4
38:21
nines gold, the sponsored this video today, right, are going to
38:25
are going to be the probably the only option for these bigger
38:28
companies that need to replace the OZ And it's the supply of
38:33
gold and silver continues to go down.
38:36
The price of gold and silver will continue to go up.
38:41
Let's talk about the meltdown. Let's talk about the coming
38:45
disaster heading our way. Bubble.
38:49
OK, look, I'm going to go on a little bit of a rant.
38:52
When we look at the general stock market, any, any, any
38:56
person who put money into the general market over the last 20
39:01
years has just made unbelievable returns.
39:05
But I'm telling you right, I can read the financials, I can read
39:09
the metrics. The whole stock market on any
39:11
metric right now is so overvalued compared to the tech
39:15
bubble era, compared to the great financial crisis.
39:19
I would go as far as to say that many of the larger segments of
39:22
the overall market, I am not talking about the gold and
39:26
silver mining company, the overall market are essentially
39:28
almost like a Ponzi. They just rely on new people
39:32
coming in to for people to get their money out and what the
39:35
underlying value is just not there.
39:37
But think about this on top of that, these crazy valuations in
39:42
the general stock market, right, this Ponzi ish environment and
39:46
for many components of the market, there's something else
39:49
and very important to consider, right?
39:52
It's all measured in these paper dollars, make believe dollars,
39:58
which many people would also say based upon the the the US debt
40:03
clock is also kind of a Ponzi. It's like the stock market is a
40:07
Is a Ponzi scheme measured? In a Ponzi currency, I mean, are
40:13
we headed for like very difficult times ahead?
40:16
Let's let's take a look at some data that came out that I found
40:20
super interesting. OK, this came from markets and
40:24
mayhem. Wow.
40:25
Americans have a record amount of their assets invested in
40:29
stocks exceeding the highest seen since the Internet bubble
40:33
that imploded in the year 2000. And remember what happened to
40:37
the gold, the gold and silver price in minors after in from
40:41
2001 to 2011? Take a look at this chart.
40:44
This is shocking. OK, US households aggregate
40:48
financial asset allocation equity.
40:51
This means stock market. Let's get the crayons out here,
40:55
OK, This blue line, OK, US households have now 50% of their
41:02
financial assets in the stock market.
41:07
What happens? What happens if we have a stock
41:11
market crash? What do you think happens?
41:14
Those people are going to freak, right?
41:17
Remember here, let's pull it up. It's been a while see if I can
41:22
pull this up real quickly and I want to show you something.
41:27
All those were the good old days.
41:29
The cup and handle the old silver cup and handle.
41:32
There's the wedgie we broke out of head and shoulders.
41:34
Keep going. Come on.
41:36
I know you're and there it is guys, right?
41:39
Remember that stock market, everything is based on gold and
41:43
silver. When the stock market crashes
41:44
and those people freak right the money, this is extras pyramid.
41:49
For those of you who are new, this in no uncertain term shows
41:53
us that gold and silver are the base.
41:55
It's an upside down pyramid. Everything else is synthetic,
41:59
including the stock market, including including NVIDIA
42:03
stock, however you want to say it.
42:05
And when that money, when those people freak, when they lose 40%
42:10
right of their four O 1K and then they're like, what am I
42:13
going to do? I need to, I want to save what I
42:15
can. And they, they're faced with a
42:17
currency, the dollar, right, that's losing value.
42:21
They also know when they go to the grocery store, right price,
42:23
gas is going up, groceries are going up.
42:26
They're going to go. They're going to go to what?
42:29
Everybody knows already, the seeds already been planted.
42:32
Every American knows gold and silver are valuable.
42:35
Nobody invested it, but the seeds been planted.
42:38
They will come to the silver and gold market.
42:42
Now, guys, we need to have a very serious discussion right
42:45
now because it's not just the stock market.
42:49
Hold on here. There we are.
42:52
It's not just the stock market that's in big trouble.
42:55
Most people don't know this. The bond market is multiple
43:00
times bigger than the stock market.
43:02
The stock market gets all the attention right on CNBC.
43:07
It's like 8020. Hardly anybody pays attention to
43:09
the bond market. There's big signs of trouble in
43:12
the bond market in that also has the potential to send major, a
43:19
major, major shock waves through the US economy.
43:21
Irrational exuberance is almost everywhere.
43:25
OK, irrational exuberance. U.S. consumer bond spreads have
43:29
declined to their lowest in 26 years.
43:32
The extra yield above U.S. Treasuries is even below the
43:36
2008 levels just before the great financial crisis.
43:41
We are in worse shape and by this measurement than before the
43:45
great financial crisis. What this means, what this
43:48
means, OK, this is the amount for US corporate bonds, the
43:53
amount of interest that US corporate bonds pay, which is
43:57
greater than what U.S. Treasury bonds pay.
44:01
So usually US corporate bonds should pay a significant amount
44:05
more because in theory, there's more risk, right?
44:07
U.S. government, it's good, you know, it's the safest bond that
44:11
you can buy. Ha, ha.
44:14
If you don't mind losing 4% of your money every year to
44:16
inflation. We dig typically corporate bonds
44:20
like here. If we look here, let me let me
44:23
that's not my drawing. I want to draw this so you
44:25
understand this. If we look here, OK, like back
44:31
in 2019, it was at 1.5. So that would mean that if like
44:37
a, if a, if AUS treasury bond was paying 3%, then a average
44:45
corporate bond would be paying 4.5%, right?
44:49
Typically the corporate bonds pay more.
44:51
We are down here in precariously low.
44:54
That is a sign of a bubble and not a healthy sign because like
45:02
he said, the last time that that was there was right before the
45:05
2011 or I'm sorry, 2007, 2008, great financial crisis.
45:14
OK. You know, the other thing to
45:15
remember is, is people look at our bonds, you know, the bonds,
45:21
the US bond market right now, the US Treasury bond market.
45:25
What's a 30 year bond pay like 4%, five, maybe 5%.
45:29
I haven't looked lately. I think it's like 4% interest.
45:32
Are you going to tie your money up for 30 or 20 or even 10
45:36
years? The 10 year bonds, like what,
45:37
4.3%? Even 10 years?
45:41
Think about this, right? If you had $100,000 and you
45:44
bought a 10 year U.S. Treasury bond at 4 1/2 percent,
45:48
they're going to pay you 4 1/2 percent.
45:50
But guess what I got? I got a little surprise for you.
45:53
You got to pay taxes on that, that four and a half thousand
45:56
interest you make every year. So really you're only making 3%.
46:00
Now we know from earlier today that the official inflation rate
46:04
is supposedly 2.6. We'll round that up to 3%.
46:08
We know that in reality, the real inflation rate is probably
46:13
closer to 7 or 8%. So if you give the government
46:16
$100,000, they pay you 4 percent, 4.5%, you pay taxes on
46:21
that interest, you're really only making 3%.
46:25
But at the same time, the value of that doll, of those dollars,
46:29
that 100,000, that principal you put in is dropping by 7 or 8% a
46:34
year. You're losing money.
46:36
That's called negative real interest rates.
46:39
That's called inflation, right? That's called the value of the
46:43
dollar going down. There is nothing that is going
46:45
to drive the price of silver and gold.
46:48
I'm sorry I got to break it to you in the coming couple years
46:53
and it's and it's gaining traction now than inflation so
46:57
be prepared OK oh and then we're going to talk about crypto.
47:02
It's unbelievable, unbelievable, unbelievable.
47:05
But one last point to show just how wonderful the hold on here,
47:12
where'd it go? Hold on.
47:14
Nope, Nope, here it is OK, get you on the right screen and the
47:21
residential think about think about the average Americans and
47:23
silver and gold. When are they going to come
47:25
running? When are they going to have the
47:26
light bulb moment when the stock market crashes, right when the
47:29
bond market crashes, right. And they're like, well, I'm not
47:32
going to buy bonds. They're crashing.
47:34
I'm not going to buy stocks. They're crashing.
47:36
I know my money's losing. I know I'm losing out to
47:39
inflation. What about real estate?
47:41
And I would, I would say, and I've said this all on this house
47:45
that I'm broadcasting to you from is not worth what Zillow
47:49
says it's worth, is not worth what people have recently paid
47:52
for houses in my neighborhood, which is a half $1,000,000,
47:56
which does not make sense to me, not worth it.
47:59
OK. And what we're seeing now is a
48:01
big slow down in what were some of the hottest markets in
48:05
Orlando, FL year over year. There are now 57% more houses
48:11
for sale in Orlando just compared to the last year,
48:16
almost 60%, almost 300% higher available inventory than what we
48:23
saw during the during the C19 crisis.
48:25
So this real estate market is in trouble, is not getting better,
48:30
right? And it's going to be a big
48:31
issue. Now let's go take a look and see
48:33
what, what, what the crypto. It's unbelievable what has been
48:38
happening in the crypto market. And we're going to do an update
48:41
on the silver and gold price here as well.
48:44
Gold's down $3 in the futures market.
48:48
Have they? Are they clobbering silver?
48:50
Hold on here. Make sure we got you guys.
48:54
We do. I have so many windows open.
48:57
Crude oil is down. OK, but let's look at.
49:00
OK, Silver's down three cents. I wonder what happened here.
49:03
We had a kind of a big abrupt, maybe that was the Comex opened
49:06
up. But let's go look at our friend
49:08
Bitcoin, $91,000 per Bitcoin. OK, this is getting incredible.
49:16
I want to share with you this. OK, this happened a few days
49:22
ago. The market cap of Bitcoin is now
49:24
officially larger than the market cap of silver at 1.7
49:30
trillion. So Bitcoin has overtaken silver.
49:34
You know, I'm not anti Bitcoin, but I I'm, I don't own any
49:38
Bitcoin. I don't own any cryptocurrency.
49:40
It's unbelievable. Some people, some people that
49:44
aren't fans of Bitcoin say that it could be the biggest Ponzi,
49:48
the biggest bubble in the history of the world.
49:51
Some people claim that it was created specifically.
49:55
There's even and I'm going to emphasize what's the word
49:59
conspiracy type theory that that the government created it as a
50:04
as a place for money that would otherwise have gone into silver
50:07
and gold to get siphoned off into.
50:10
I don't, I'm not, I'm just, I'm just telling you what what some
50:13
people say. I'm not sure.
50:15
I never did quite understand where it came from, but I do
50:18
know that the big major banks and the mainstream media are
50:22
pumping Bitcoin, right? And of course, there's this
50:25
perception that Donald Trump is going to be pro Bitcoin.
50:29
It's going to be interesting to see how this plays out.
50:31
But look at this. Is this a bubble?
50:33
Remember, Dodge, this is not the Department of Government,
50:37
whatever that. No, this is the Doge coin, which
50:40
was made as a joke initially and it was like had something to do
50:44
with a dog. But back-to-back candles.
50:47
Dogecoin is now valued at $62 billion.
50:51
That's not the crazy part. The crazy part here is that that
50:53
is now worth more than General Motors, Hilton, Allstate, AIG,
51:00
Occidental Petroleum, NASDAQ, Doctor Pepper.
51:04
My kids love Doctor Pepper and my 12 year old daughters Doctor
51:07
Pepper was almost gone. Now it's like a really popular
51:09
show it again and I I like it myself.
51:11
Discover Ford Motor Company guys, this is doji coin.
51:17
OK it's now worth more than Ford Motor Company.
51:22
This was like a a crypto that was created as a joke, as I
51:26
understand it. I don't know or I'll ask you,
51:30
are we in a bubble? Are we in a bubble?
51:35
Is this are we in reality? I don't know, right?
51:38
Is it? It's like, I mean, we know that
51:40
the Fed think about this. We know that the Fed has created
51:44
this like fantasy island monetary and fiscal system.
51:48
No doubt about it, right? And now we have things like Doji
51:52
Coin that are more valuable than Allstate Insurance, more
51:56
valuable than Ford Motor Company.
51:58
Are we in a bit of a a are we like the why are we having a
52:02
Wiley Coyote moment in this country?
52:04
Remember when Wiley Coyote runs off the ledge and he's still
52:07
running and then all of a sudden shoof down he goes?
52:12
I don't know. You know, it seems a little
52:15
interesting, man. Don't forget what happened last
52:22
week. That would have been today, this
52:24
morning, one week ago, right then.
52:26
Not a political statement. I'm not saying this in a bad
52:29
way. I have my own political beliefs
52:31
which probably aligned with yours.
52:33
I'll say that however, the Donald Trump election was a
52:37
Black Swan. It was a total, the election
52:41
itself, him being elected was not a Black Swan.
52:43
The, the, the severity of the beating that he provided to the
52:48
Democrats right on the presidential election, even from
52:52
a Senate and House perspective that my friends, was a Black
52:57
Swan. Nobody expected that.
52:58
Everybody expected a very tight race, a contested race, some
53:03
people. And, and again, if your
53:05
candidate didn't win, I'm sorry. I mean, you know, I'm not, this
53:08
is not a political statement. Some people thought that Kamala
53:10
would win. Some people thought that it
53:13
would be the Trump would win. Some people thought that it
53:15
would be a very tight race that would be a contested and would
53:19
go on for months and months. I probably fell into that
53:21
category, right? Nobody thought that Donald Trump
53:25
would win in the commanding fashion in which he won.
53:29
And now, right, that was a Black Swan.
53:32
And after Black Swan and now we're getting like news of, of
53:37
who he's appointing. We have this news with Elon Musk
53:39
and Vivak Ramaswami that are going to send shock waves
53:43
through the federal government. We became, we've become kind of
53:46
a country that was dependent on found government spending,
53:49
federal government kind of making the the economy look
53:54
good. They're talking about stripping
53:56
a lot of that out. It is going to be, you know, I
54:00
was wrong at the end of 2023. I said Katie Bart in 2024 did
54:06
have some some turmoil, but nothing major.
54:09
I had a feeling maybe, you know, we were early on that in 2025
54:15
could prove to be a year with a lot of uncertainty Now.
54:18
Why is that important to you as the silver and gold investor?
54:22
Because there is no better place.
54:25
You know, it's like a tornado shelter.
54:28
There's no better place to be during a tornado than a tornado
54:32
shelter. There's no better place for you
54:35
to be right during periods of massive uncertainty than
54:40
invested in silver, gold, precious metal, mining stocks.
54:43
I could be wrong. I was wrong about 2024.
54:47
The, the severity of the of the, of the issues that we would,
54:51
that we would be that we'd be facing.
54:53
But I am flummoxed as I look out the next year.
54:57
I mean, it is. I'm going to be unpredictably
55:02
unpredictable, right? We said that before the big
55:05
election. You know, all these people
55:08
saying what would happen to silver and gold.
55:10
Look, we talked about this, right?
55:12
The only certainty that I said we had before the election was
55:16
uncertainty, and I think that's been ratcheted up quite a while.
55:20
I think what's happening in gold and silver right now stink right
55:24
down 7% in gold, 12% in silver. No doubt about it.
55:28
My heart goes out to you. Trust me, I'm in the same boat.
55:31
I'm remember we're in the same silver and gold lifeboat, but I
55:35
feel like it's the dust is settling, right?
55:39
It a lot of big stuff is being digested by the metals markets.
55:44
And I think a lot of the weak hands are being flushed out.
55:47
And that as we move into the rest of the year and into 2025,
55:53
right, that we could see significantly higher prices for
55:56
both silver, gold and for the precious metal mining stocks.
56:00
No doubt about it. Let's run out and do an update
56:02
on the price, see if it got worse.
56:06
We were up $0.30 in silver earlier and I got a feeling
56:10
we're going to be down even more.
56:12
Oh, hey, we're at a green 0. We'll take our wins while we
56:18
can, right? Hey, guys, don't forget if you
56:20
want to get silver, gold or platinum group metals, Pembacs
56:23
makes these makes our group, makes our tribe possible.
56:26
I couldn't do this without we're, I'm, we're raising a
56:29
family here off this channel without support from channel
56:32
sponsor Pembacs. But what makes me feel best
56:36
about Pinbecks, undoubtedly right, is that I believe in the
56:40
company 100%. I actually was a customer of
56:42
theirs. I think I made either two or
56:44
three orders from Pinbecks before they sponsored Ron's
56:48
basement, right? I own First mining gold stock.
56:51
I own Fortuna mining stock, right?
56:53
Only I'm only going to do sponsorships with these
56:55
companies if I believe in them personally.
56:58
That doesn't mean you have to believe in them, but I know,
57:00
right? And what makes me feel so good
57:03
about pin backs in terms of people being able to get silver
57:06
and gold is that they've treated everyone so well.
57:09
Thanks for being here. Thanks for being part of the
57:11
basement. Take care of yourself.
57:13
Have a great day and I'll see you soon.
