Transcript

- 0:15Speaker 2: Hi.
- 0:16Speaker 3: We are here because I want to say.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Six seven, yeah, seven seven raccoons called in to sound
- 0:27Speaker 1: off about the Sister Wives, and I imagine I haven't
- 0:31Speaker 1: heard any of these yet. I imagine they're sounding off
- 0:33Speaker 1: about Robin and Cody Brown and I can't wait to
- 0:36Speaker 1: get to these. And that's why we are having a
- 0:39Speaker 1: separate episode. Yes, we are splitting this off from our
- 0:42Speaker 1: actual recap because we have a lot of people talking
- 0:45Speaker 1: and we want to be able to respond before we
- 0:48Speaker 1: get into these messages. And also a little bit of
- 0:51Speaker 1: a newsworthy item I want to talk to you about.
- 0:54Speaker 1: We have to issue you a disclaimer. Please had your
- 0:58Speaker 1: wife and had your kids. This is a plit in
- 1:01Speaker 1: correct podcast. We say a lot of bad words. We

- 2:00Speaker 1: raccoon emoji yeah.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Or a heart.

- 2:16Speaker 1: Yeah, that's all we want, so thank you in advance.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Thank you now, before we get to these messages, I
- 2:23Speaker 1: noticed a couple of things this week. Yeah, a couple
- 2:26Speaker 1: of our og wives are developing their business ideas the
- 2:31Speaker 1: grifts they're grifts. Yeah, starting with Janelle, who launched a
- 2:37Speaker 1: website called Janelle says dot com. Yeah, and what it
- 2:42Speaker 1: looks like is she's selling just basic T shirts, very
- 2:45Speaker 1: basic for like twenty five dollars five Yeah, a T shirt,
- 2:51Speaker 1: I think, so with just words on it, like things
- 2:53Speaker 1: that Janelle has said. Yeah, for example, what sort of
- 2:57Speaker 1: things has Janelle said that she has put on a shirt? Beatrice, Well,
- 3:02Speaker 1: she's put up a couple things. So actually there are
- 3:04Speaker 1: twenty five dollars. Okay, I'm just etan One of them says,
- 3:09Speaker 1: hold on, I'll grab my list of things that bug
- 3:12Speaker 1: me about you, which I'm like, when is she said that?
- 3:15Speaker 3: I don't recall her saying that, but all.
- 3:16Speaker 4: Right, yeah, and then another says, I guess I missed
- 3:19Speaker 4: the respect memo. Oh, I don't know when she said
- 3:22Speaker 4: that either. And then the last one is Teflon Queen
- 3:26Speaker 4: no longer making myself culpable for your shit, which is
- 3:30Speaker 4: a good one.
- 3:31Speaker 3: Actually like that one.
- 3:32Speaker 4: I like that one.
- 3:32Speaker 1: And I want to propose that we get one of
- 3:35Speaker 1: these shirts.
- 3:36Speaker 4: Let's get the Teflon Queen one.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Okay.
- 3:38Speaker 1: I want her to get a bag. I want her
- 3:41Speaker 1: to make money. Yeah, we all know she walked away
- 3:43Speaker 1: from the relationship with next to nothing. Mm hmmm, and
- 3:47Speaker 1: so I want to support her, Yeah, I do. Conversely, yeah,
- 3:51Speaker 1: we've got Mary Brown out here. I was up on
- 3:54Speaker 1: the Instagram today upon the Instagram girl.
- 3:59Speaker 3: And I saw on our own.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Instagram, which, by the way is reality TV cringe and you.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Better be following.
- 4:05Speaker 1: I saw that Mary made another video and I thought
- 4:09Speaker 1: we would play it now for the raccoons so we
- 4:12Speaker 1: can listen to Mary updating us on her life.
- 4:16Speaker 5: Okay, so you're wanting that's tell all I have said.
- 4:20Speaker 5: You are going to hear my voice. I'm not shutting up.
- 4:23Speaker 5: I am in the middle of my story people. In fact,
- 4:26Speaker 5: it is currently happening. Maybe you just didn't realize it.
- 4:30Speaker 5: Worthying up? Is my story? Is it in front covered
- 4:35Speaker 5: or back cover book form? Currently?
- 4:37Speaker 3: Not yet?
- 4:38Speaker 5: In my worthy of community. This is where I'm growing.
- 4:41Speaker 5: I'm showing and sharing. You can either be a part
- 4:44Speaker 5: of the story or wait, I cannot tell a story
- 4:48Speaker 5: without an ending, and I don't have an ending yet.
- 4:50Speaker 5: My story is still being written. But come be part
- 4:53Speaker 5: of my story.
- 4:54Speaker 4: I hate her? Wow?
- 4:58Speaker 3: You hate her?
- 4:59Speaker 6: No?
- 4:59Speaker 4: I just I hate when she posts stupid shit like this.
- 5:02Speaker 4: This is just bait.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Well what about it? Don't you like?
- 5:06Speaker 6: I mean?
- 5:07Speaker 4: Just plugging worthying up?
- 5:09Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 5:09Speaker 4: Okay, so if you want to be a part of
- 5:11Speaker 4: my worthy up community. That's how you'll get to hear
- 5:13Speaker 4: my story. But you're not actually telling your story in
- 5:16Speaker 4: the worthy of community.
- 5:17Speaker 3: No, I don't think, because I feel.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Like any forensic raccoons out there would have already posted
- 5:22Speaker 4: that shit from all of her other retreats. She's not
- 5:25Speaker 4: talking about that. Are you gonna write a book? No,
- 5:27Speaker 4: because the ending's not written yet, because I'm not dead, right.
- 5:31Speaker 1: But she's still dangling the carrot. But tell all, she's
- 5:34Speaker 1: dangling the carrot of a book that she seemingly intends
- 5:39Speaker 1: to write. So like she knows what we want, yeah,
- 5:42Speaker 1: as a dumpster filled with raccoons. She knows we want
- 5:46Speaker 1: the real truth, the gritty truth.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:48Speaker 1: But the only way she says we can get it
- 5:50Speaker 1: is if we join her worthy up community. So it's
- 5:53Speaker 1: not really even about telling us the truth, no, or
- 5:57Speaker 1: sharing with us about your life. It's about taking our money, yeah,
- 6:00Speaker 1: having us join your stupid group. And I forgot what
- 6:03Speaker 1: it was like two hundred some odd a year.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Or it was like three over three hundred dollars.
- 6:06Speaker 1: It's just like the basic level of entry. But then
- 6:09Speaker 1: on top of that, she's got merch and she's got journals,
- 6:13Speaker 1: which it's not merch but same thing. She's got seminars
- 6:16Speaker 1: and conferences where she's talking again and I hate to
- 6:19Speaker 1: be a broken record, Beatrice, but she's talking about her
- 6:23Speaker 1: life and what she's learned. But even in this video,
- 6:26Speaker 1: she's saying, the ending isn't written yet, so how can
- 6:30Speaker 1: I write the book?
- 6:31Speaker 3: So then, if you don't even.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Know what the lessons of your life are, right and
- 6:36Speaker 1: on all of the things that you have learned as
- 6:38Speaker 1: a person, said things which might be able to help
- 6:41Speaker 1: other people and inform their lives and process But if
- 6:44Speaker 1: you haven't even learned anything because you're still in the
- 6:47Speaker 1: middle of your story, then why are you taking money
- 6:50Speaker 1: for people to motivate them on their path to healing.
- 6:53Speaker 3: It chaps my heart.
- 6:56Speaker 4: It drives me nuts. It's such an MLN grifter type
- 7:00Speaker 4: of thing to do, like oh, yeah, I'm a famous
- 7:04Speaker 4: Daliss celebrity f lists, celebrity list where like people know me,
- 7:10Speaker 4: so they're gonna buy whatever I will sell them, and
- 7:12Speaker 4: I'm just gonna scam them and be like yeah, hushtag
- 7:15Speaker 4: wear the up like you should love yourself, which is
- 7:17Speaker 4: like just basic knowledge, you know, that's all she's doing,
- 7:21Speaker 4: and then you charge people six thousand dollars for those
- 7:23Speaker 4: retreats where they have to go and stay at the
- 7:25Speaker 4: best Western End because there's not enough room at Lizzie's Heritage.
- 7:28Speaker 4: And it's like so ridiculous. I just hated that video.
- 7:32Speaker 4: I'm just like, oh my god.
- 7:33Speaker 1: It's just so surface level, which is the problem with
- 7:36Speaker 1: this show, even in this week's episode, which we will
- 7:40Speaker 1: talk about in our recap, So if you haven't heard
- 7:42Speaker 1: or watched that yet, please make sure you go back
- 7:44Speaker 1: to do so. But like, she's talking about this list
- 7:48Speaker 1: that Cody gave her that she of things that she
- 7:51Speaker 1: had to do in order to reclaim a relationship with him,
- 7:55Speaker 1: and at no point does she tell us the contents
- 7:59Speaker 1: of that list. At no point does a producer think, well,
- 8:02Speaker 1: I should ask Mary what did that list contain? She
- 8:05Speaker 1: never gives the information. She's always just skirting on the
- 8:08Speaker 1: surface level, and like, I'm sorry, but I don't trust you.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I think you're a liar. I'm wondering if one of
- 8:14Speaker 1: those things that was on the list was that you
- 8:16Speaker 1: had to back up Cody when he went over to
- 8:18Speaker 1: Christine's and talked about or screamed about having a knife
- 8:20Speaker 1: and a kidney, like.
- 8:22Speaker 3: What's on the fucking list?
- 8:23Speaker 4: Yep, But they won't tell us because this is the
- 8:26Speaker 4: product of people who have been on TV for fifteen
- 8:28Speaker 4: plus years and have totally known how to produce themselves
- 8:32Speaker 4: this entire time. They only ever give us the surface
- 8:35Speaker 4: level bullshit we deduce and we speculate about all of
- 8:39Speaker 4: the other bullshit hiding underneath it. And most of the
- 8:43Speaker 4: time we're right, yes, because we're fake psychics and we
- 8:45Speaker 4: know what's going on from all of their other surface
- 8:49Speaker 4: level discussions. But it's like it's just so annoying. It's like,
- 8:52Speaker 4: just be real, that's what it is.
- 8:54Speaker 1: It's irritating. Yeah, and it's not real. It's not authentic,
- 8:58Speaker 1: and I'm sorry, but in terms of like content creation,
- 9:01Speaker 1: as we're going forward into twenty twenty five, people don't
- 9:04Speaker 1: really value inauthenticity, Like they're looking for real people, even
- 9:08Speaker 1: if you're broken, even if you've got your problems, but
- 9:11Speaker 1: just be.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Real about it.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Stop lying all the time right to us as an audience.
- 9:15Speaker 1: And this is why I think the ratings for Sister
- 9:18Speaker 1: Wives this season have started to go down and or
- 9:21Speaker 1: continue to go down. We still have people out here
- 9:23Speaker 1: watching it, but not as many. Of course, people are
- 9:26Speaker 1: either protesting because Cody is an absolute narcissistic rage monster,
- 9:31Speaker 1: and or we're bored seeing Christine and David in the
- 9:34Speaker 1: same old, tired story that we already know the end of,
- 9:37Speaker 1: exactly Like, if you were to give us some real
- 9:39Speaker 1: stuff from twenty twenty three twenty twenty four, your ratings
- 9:42Speaker 1: would be fired, right, but you're not doing that. And
- 9:45Speaker 1: now here we are with Mary grifting, grifting, grifting.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Well, and like even them just saying like, hey, we
- 9:51Speaker 4: don't want to talk about this particular subject, or we
- 9:54Speaker 4: don't want to talk about this period of our life
- 9:56Speaker 4: because it's really personal, really painful. Even that would be no,
- 10:00Speaker 4: but we don't even get that. No, we just get
- 10:02Speaker 4: this weird, like glossed over picture of what the family
- 10:06Speaker 4: is and it's all super produced and like lies, and
- 10:10Speaker 4: everybody sees through it and we're always talking about it
- 10:12Speaker 4: every single season, even last season the season before, but
- 10:15Speaker 4: nothing ever changes because we're watching footage from two years
- 10:18Speaker 4: ago and it's all stupid. And then we have Mary
- 10:22Speaker 4: with her grift hashag worthy. Up, can we talk about
- 10:25Speaker 4: the journey that you took to actually worthy? Up because
- 10:29Speaker 4: we can see you have no self worth in this season.
- 10:32Speaker 4: It's really actually it's quite sad, and I do have
- 10:35Speaker 4: empathy for her, but it's like, now you just have
- 10:37Speaker 4: this whole business about teaching people to worry. What did
- 10:40Speaker 4: you do? Did you go to therapy? Did you have
- 10:42Speaker 4: a spiritual awakening? Did you do ayahuasca degree?
- 10:44Speaker 1: Did you go back to college? Are you mentoring with somebody?
- 10:48Speaker 1: There's no credentials, there's nothing there. Everything is absolutely a
- 10:53Speaker 1: scared and I don't like it. So whereas with Chnell,
- 10:57Speaker 1: I'm happy to support her because she's not trying to
- 11:00Speaker 1: hoodwink me yeah and pretend she's something she's not. She's
- 11:02Speaker 1: just putting her dumb sayings on a shirt and I'm
- 11:05Speaker 1: gonna wear it.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:06Speaker 1: But with Mary, there's just that underlying grossness to it.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Maybe she's in this desperate space where she realizes Sister
- 11:14Speaker 1: Wives is going to end, and what is she going
- 11:15Speaker 1: to do? She's gonna have to do something, But she's
- 11:17Speaker 1: a businesswoman, she's got Lula ro still right, she can
- 11:20Speaker 1: do it without.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Doing this, yep.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Agreed.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Annoying.
- 11:24Speaker 1: All right, let's get to our raccoons who have called
- 11:29Speaker 1: in on this speak Pipe now if you would like
- 11:32Speaker 1: to do that as well, all you have to do
- 11:34Speaker 1: is go to speakpipe dot com slash reality TV Cringe.
- 11:38Speaker 1: You do that on your computer or on your phone
- 11:41Speaker 1: and you just talk right into it. You have to
- 11:43Speaker 1: have your microphone enabled. I would imagine you have up
- 11:46Speaker 1: to ninety seconds and you can say whatever you want
- 11:48Speaker 1: to say.
- 11:49Speaker 4: We are here for it. First one we have is
- 11:52Speaker 4: from Kendra Seymour, who I think called in last week.
- 11:55Speaker 3: That does sound familiar, yep, so she's.
- 11:57Speaker 4: Got another hot take.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Okay, Hi, my name, it's kidrev Watch.
- 12:01Speaker 6: I've already called in once before and see, y'all are
- 12:03Speaker 6: probably gonna get sick and tired of hearing me. But
- 12:05Speaker 6: if you has list the link, I'm gonna go to it.
- 12:08Speaker 6: When I have an opinion like it's your own fault,
- 12:10Speaker 6: you brought this on yourself. I'm watching season nineteen, episode
- 12:15Speaker 6: nine recap with you guys on Patreon.
- 12:19Speaker 7: I completely one hundred percent.
- 12:22Speaker 6: Agree that when Janelle came over there, Mary was being
- 12:27Speaker 6: very like demeaning and was like, oh no, I don't
- 12:30Speaker 6: think that'll happen, but I believe like y'all do. It's
- 12:32Speaker 6: very petty. I think it's been petty because Janelle has
- 12:36Speaker 6: been very gleedful that her and Cody, you know, had
- 12:38Speaker 6: sex all the time and she had so many kids.
- 12:41Speaker 6: I think her and Christine have always been bitches to Mary,
- 12:45Speaker 6: Like honestly, I know, like we hear, oh Mary is
- 12:47Speaker 6: such a bitch, which one hundred percent she is, but
- 12:49Speaker 6: like all of these bitches are bitches, Like they're not
- 12:52Speaker 6: like they're not my bitches.
- 12:54Speaker 8: Like no, sorry for all this wearing.
- 12:58Speaker 3: It's like really, like what is your with y'all?
- 13:00Speaker 6: And so like when they were all like downtrotting Mary
- 13:05Speaker 6: wanting to get that in and everything like that, they
- 13:08Speaker 6: all told her no and it would have been a
- 13:12Speaker 6: family asset. Now it's doing well, they can't have a
- 13:16Speaker 6: piece of that money at all at all, like no,
- 13:19Speaker 6: because like they told her no, and it was mainly
- 13:22Speaker 6: Janelle and Robin that were like, oh no, we can't
- 13:25Speaker 6: do this.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Then oh I think she may have called in again, okay,
- 13:28Speaker 4: because it cut her off.
- 13:30Speaker 6: Part two, So you guys may have touched on this
- 13:34Speaker 6: later on in the episode. I'm just I'm not there yet.
- 13:39Speaker 6: The fact that Cody was acting like Robin was so beautiful,
- 13:41Speaker 6: and that's why David only wanted to look at her
- 13:44Speaker 6: and everything like that.
- 13:45Speaker 9: That was weird.
- 13:45Speaker 2: It's gross.
- 13:46Speaker 6: No, Cody has crazy as Christine has crazy ass, and
- 13:49Speaker 6: Robin has sad precious moment eyes. So I would look
- 13:52Speaker 6: at the sad precious moment person too, because crazy is
- 13:55Speaker 6: crazy and it freaks me out. Another thing that just
- 14:00Speaker 6: makes me think that Christine and David are not going
- 14:03Speaker 6: to work out long term is because when he was
- 14:05Speaker 6: talking to Robin, well so the whole group, basically he
- 14:08Speaker 6: said that he raised his eight kids, and it sounds
- 14:11Speaker 6: like it sounded like he had a hand in like
- 14:14Speaker 6: helping raise his children or his grandchildren. So that makes
- 14:19Speaker 6: me think that maybe his kids were living with him,
- 14:21Speaker 6: like after they had kids his like adult kids. So
- 14:26Speaker 6: that has never been the case with Christine. Christine always said,
- 14:29Speaker 6: you know, when they're eighteen, they're out. They're out for me.
- 14:33Speaker 6: My kids can always come home, Like I only have
- 14:35Speaker 6: one daughter, but like she can always come home. She
- 14:37Speaker 6: doesn't want to pay rent, Come home, she wants to
- 14:40Speaker 6: save up to buy a house.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Come home, you can't pay rent.
- 14:42Speaker 6: Come home, you know something happens, Come home, always come home.
- 14:46Speaker 6: Always know that I am there and I'm going to
- 14:48Speaker 6: back you no matter what, and that's how it is.
- 14:50Speaker 6: So I would not put up with a spouse being
- 14:53Speaker 6: different than me, like I wouldn't, especially like a stepparent
- 14:56Speaker 6: be like, oh no, they can't come home to my house?
- 14:58Speaker 3: Like the fuck she was going on?
- 15:03Speaker 1: Okay, let's take the first one. Yeah, the first one.
- 15:06Speaker 1: She called in and she was talking about how she
- 15:08Speaker 1: agrees with us that Mary was bringing some petty energy
- 15:12Speaker 1: into the conversation with Janelle, that all those women were
- 15:16Speaker 1: petty with each other.
- 15:18Speaker 4: Yeah, and they were probably bitches to Mary like earlier
- 15:22Speaker 4: on in their relationship because they had all the kids
- 15:24Speaker 4: and Mary only had one, which I could see. But
- 15:28Speaker 4: I could also see Mary being hella passive aggressive towards
- 15:32Speaker 4: Janelle and Christine because they were able to have kids
- 15:35Speaker 4: and she wasn't. I feel like Mary probably took that
- 15:37Speaker 4: shit personally and then became kind of a angry bitch
- 15:41Speaker 4: to everybody because she just doesn't know how to actually
- 15:44Speaker 4: deal with her emotions.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I think that Mary probably only had back in those
- 15:49Speaker 1: days her position as the number one wife, right first wife,
- 15:53Speaker 1: and so if there was any power that she could
- 15:56Speaker 1: derive from that, I can see Mary lord it over
- 16:00Speaker 1: those women in those early years totally. And I can
- 16:03Speaker 1: see Janelle, who is a Taurus, she's a bull. I
- 16:06Speaker 1: can see her holding a grudge, honey, and at some
- 16:08Speaker 1: point just be like, I'm never going to be this
- 16:10Speaker 1: woman's friend. I'm never going to go to counseling with her,
- 16:13Speaker 1: I'm never going to make this work.
- 16:15Speaker 4: Yep.
- 16:15Speaker 1: So it's kind of weird to me that Janelle would
- 16:20Speaker 1: expect something different from Mary. I think Janelle again was
- 16:24Speaker 1: trying to do her a solid, but like, are you
- 16:26Speaker 1: really surprised that you're getting a cold reception from Mary?
- 16:30Speaker 6: No?
- 16:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I totally agree, And I mean Janelle, like Janelle
- 16:35Speaker 4: probably was so bitter towards Mary for like a lot
- 16:37Speaker 4: of the financial stuff, because like in our earlier recaps
- 16:41Speaker 4: from the earlier seasons, we've seen how Janelle has kind
- 16:45Speaker 4: of had a problem with how Mary gets equal share
- 16:49Speaker 4: of the house or like equal share of the finances
- 16:52Speaker 4: when Janelle can barely afford to feed her kids, because
- 16:55Speaker 4: Mary wants equal treatment even though she only has one
- 16:58Speaker 4: child and doesn't need a four bedroom house in Las Vegas,
- 17:02Speaker 4: like those kind of bedrooms, bitch, that's true. And the
- 17:04Speaker 4: wet bar and the pantry and the sliding glass door.
- 17:08Speaker 4: But yeah, so like Janelle probably had a hand in
- 17:12Speaker 4: the dysfunction of the family because of that bullheadedness and
- 17:17Speaker 4: being bitter about the fact that she has to work
- 17:19Speaker 4: so much when Mary is just off in La La land.
- 17:24Speaker 3: I guess so I get that.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I just there's like ancient wounds here with these women.
- 17:29Speaker 1: But it's like you're in your fifties, like at some point,
- 17:32Speaker 1: let it go. You should be letting this go. Also,
- 17:34Speaker 1: you have some each the three of them, Christine, Janelle,
- 17:38Speaker 1: and Mary y'all have something in common, and that's being
- 17:41Speaker 1: betrayed and rejected by Cody Brown. Like, I guess that
- 17:43Speaker 1: doesn't bring you together. Then there is something immature about you.
- 17:46Speaker 1: There is something petty about you.
- 17:48Speaker 4: Yep.
- 17:48Speaker 1: And I could see it. Yeah, I think Kendrick could
- 17:51Speaker 1: see it too. Now what was her second message about again,
- 17:55Speaker 1: something about how David and Christine had different value around
- 18:01Speaker 1: their kids, because David may or may not have had
- 18:05Speaker 1: his grandkids living with him and or may have been
- 18:08Speaker 1: supporting his children, you know, after they reached adulthood, whereas
- 18:12Speaker 1: Christine historically.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Hasn't really done that.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Yeah, Now, I haven't seen all the seasons of Sister Wife.
- 18:18Speaker 1: So I've really never heard a declarative statement from Christine
- 18:21Speaker 1: where she's like, at eighteen, you gotta go. But if
- 18:24Speaker 1: she said that, then yeah, that would be a different value.
- 18:27Speaker 1: But I mean, Christine has changed so much in such
- 18:30Speaker 1: a short time that I wouldn't be a bit surprised
- 18:34Speaker 1: if she's changed her mind on this as well.
- 18:36Speaker 4: Yeah, And I mean I can see Kendra's point about
- 18:39Speaker 4: like I don't know if Christine and David are gonna
- 18:41Speaker 4: last because I look at them right now and I'm like,
- 18:44Speaker 4: I don't know. I mean, I feel like they'll last
- 18:46Speaker 4: because they don't want to get divorced again or like
- 18:49Speaker 4: have to be single again, especially David because he's older,
- 18:53Speaker 4: Like you don't want to have to start over again.
- 18:54Speaker 4: He might just settle for Christine being kind of annoying.
- 18:58Speaker 3: You know, ninety.
- 18:59Speaker 4: Yeah, he probably likes it right now because it's new
- 19:02Speaker 4: and exciting and fun and like they're in the honeymoon
- 19:04Speaker 4: phase and it's great. But like, wait until they have
- 19:07Speaker 4: like their first argument, wait until they have to deal
- 19:09Speaker 4: with conflict, or wait till they have to deal with
- 19:11Speaker 4: kids being frustrating, Like those kinds of things put a
- 19:15Speaker 4: test on marriage that you can't really decipher or deal
- 19:18Speaker 4: with early on, when you guys have only known each
- 19:21Speaker 4: other for like two months and you're moving in together
- 19:24Speaker 4: and you're having sex all the time, and you stin't care,
- 19:26Speaker 4: you know.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Yeah, And let's not forget that. Christine really hasn't processed
- 19:31Speaker 1: what's happened at this point in the show, not at all.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Now.
- 19:34Speaker 1: I think David lost his wife twelve years before he
- 19:37Speaker 1: meets Christine, right, so he's at all this time to
- 19:40Speaker 1: work on himself and potentially go to therapy. I don't
- 19:43Speaker 1: know if he's ever addressed that, but like work on
- 19:45Speaker 1: himself and figure out what he wants to do with
- 19:47Speaker 1: his life, et cetera. Right, Whereas Christine, by the time
- 19:51Speaker 1: she meets David, she's only been out of her relationship,
- 19:53Speaker 1: like officially formally with Cody for a few months exactly.
- 19:57Speaker 1: She hasn't gone to therapy, she hasn't worked through any
- 20:00Speaker 1: of this. I know she had a lot of books
- 20:02Speaker 1: in her Mormon office where they had their Mormon meetings
- 20:05Speaker 1: about breaking up, but like she's got a lot of
- 20:09Speaker 1: unresolved stuff in there. And so the first time David
- 20:12Speaker 1: doesn't step correctly or does something that reminds her even
- 20:16Speaker 1: mildly of shit Cody's done exactly Like she's going to
- 20:19Speaker 1: recall all that trauma, and I wouldn't be a bit
- 20:22Speaker 1: surprised if she weaponizes it and uses it in the relationship.
- 20:25Speaker 1: If anything is going to ruin their relationship, it's going
- 20:29Speaker 1: to be her baggage. Agree, her emotional baggage that she's
- 20:32Speaker 1: not intelligent enough and not proactive enough to actually deal with.
- 20:37Speaker 4: Agreed on, and then she also commented about Cody being
- 20:41Speaker 4: talking about Robin being pretty Oh, and Kendra, I agree
- 20:45Speaker 4: that she's not.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Wow, just say how you feeled.
- 20:49Speaker 4: I agree.
- 20:50Speaker 1: I'll just say, and I mean this in the best
- 20:53Speaker 1: way possible, that she is aging according to her her.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Spirit and her actions.
- 21:04Speaker 4: Yep.
- 21:05Speaker 3: I mean the body keeps the score. So like she's.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Aging in alignment with that which she has perpetrated against
- 21:12Speaker 1: this family. It's showing up on that face in everything.
- 21:16Speaker 3: And you know that's either a good thing or a
- 21:17Speaker 3: bad thing. I'll let you be the judge.
- 21:19Speaker 4: Karma's a bit oh god, Jojo, see what again?
- 21:22Speaker 3: All right? Who's our next caller?
- 21:24Speaker 4: Next color is Karen with an eye?
- 21:27Speaker 3: Okay, Karen?
- 21:28Speaker 6: All Right?
- 21:28Speaker 4: Let's hear what she has to say.
- 21:30Speaker 9: Okay, I'm also from a Florida dumpster, and I would
- 21:35Speaker 9: not fuck Cody on a bed. Just doesn't appeal to
- 21:38Speaker 9: me at all. However, I got a few things to
- 21:41Speaker 9: say about Christine, the one that they always call Queen Christine,
- 21:48Speaker 9: And you know, I think I find her incredibly performative
- 21:52Speaker 9: and annoying. And here's the question I have. If she's
- 21:59Speaker 9: such a perfect mother and everything, why she send all
- 22:03Speaker 9: of her daughters away when they're teenagers to live with
- 22:07Speaker 9: other people in the family just doesn't make sense to me.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Okay, Karen, I like how she has our podcast playing
- 22:14Speaker 4: in the back.
- 22:16Speaker 3: I was like, that sounds really good.
- 22:17Speaker 5: Us.
- 22:18Speaker 4: That was great, so funny.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Yeah, so like she sent mckeltee away. I remember McKelty
- 22:26Speaker 1: went to live with Robin, and then one of her
- 22:29Speaker 1: girls also went to live with Mary or stay with Mary, right.
- 22:33Speaker 4: I think Isabelle did, and I think Gwen also ended
- 22:36Speaker 4: up living with one of the other wives for a
- 22:38Speaker 4: little bit. I think, don't fucking come for me if
- 22:41Speaker 4: I'm wrong, But yeah, a few of her kids ended
- 22:45Speaker 4: up having to go live with the other moms because
- 22:46Speaker 4: she just couldn't deal with them, right. I remember in
- 22:48Speaker 4: the earlier seasons with Isabelle specifically, she's like, yeah, Isabelle
- 22:51Speaker 4: just hates me for some reason, and so like she's
- 22:54Speaker 4: just gonna go live with Mary for a while. I'm like, wow, mamma,
- 22:57Speaker 4: the year right.
- 22:57Speaker 1: There, right, And they would frame that in a way
- 23:00Speaker 1: like this is the benefit of polygamy, like if my
- 23:02Speaker 1: kid stresses me out, I'll just send him over to
- 23:05Speaker 1: some other house. As if that's not completely strange, yeah,
- 23:09Speaker 1: and a little weird, like why aren't you working on
- 23:11Speaker 1: your issues with your kids? But you can kind of
- 23:13Speaker 1: see the end result of that, like when Aspin is
- 23:17Speaker 1: in the room with Christine and David, she's looking like
- 23:21Speaker 1: she's super long suffering, like she's like, oh this horse
- 23:24Speaker 1: shit again. Yeah, you have Michelte who this year twenty
- 23:27Speaker 1: twenty four, left Christine, who lived fifteen minutes away from
- 23:32Speaker 1: her in her new house, left the support group of
- 23:35Speaker 1: David and Christine, and moved to North Carolina to be
- 23:38Speaker 1: close to Maddie, who I mean, that's her sister. But like,
- 23:40Speaker 1: Mattie's busy, she's not going to be there for you
- 23:42Speaker 1: like Christine was there for you. Why And at the
- 23:45Speaker 1: time that Mickelty left, she cited drama, like we need
- 23:48Speaker 1: to get away from the drama. And my first spiritual
- 23:51Speaker 1: witnessing testimony was that that was about Christine.
- 23:54Speaker 4: Oh for sure. I mean, look at how she's treating
- 23:57Speaker 4: them in this season, being like, yeah, I don't give
- 23:59Speaker 4: it if any of my kids are uncomfortable with me
- 24:02Speaker 4: and David, because we're still gonna beat thegither no matterr what, Like, okay,
- 24:06Speaker 4: fuck you. I would totally resent my mom. And you
- 24:09Speaker 4: know what I do. If I resent my mom because
- 24:12Speaker 4: she did the same shit with my step.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Dad, I hope she's not listening. Sorry, I mean it
- 24:17Speaker 1: gave her our podcast information.
- 24:20Speaker 3: She listened to it? Maybe she does.
- 24:22Speaker 1: She's probably listening every single week, but she.
- 24:26Speaker 4: Can talk to me about it. But I'm just saying,
- 24:29Speaker 4: like that's like a wound that a kid doesn't really forget.
- 24:33Speaker 4: Just speaking from personal experience, I don't care if these
- 24:36Speaker 4: kids are adults like people are red it or be
- 24:38Speaker 4: like let Christine live. The kids can deal with it. No,
- 24:41Speaker 4: that still hurts their feelings. If your mom's saying that
- 24:44Speaker 4: kind of shit on TV, imagine what she's saying.
- 24:47Speaker 3: I R L right, I mean.
- 24:49Speaker 4: Really and if Christine was my mom, oh my god,
- 24:52Speaker 4: we'd be having so many fights.
- 24:54Speaker 3: She's so fucking annoying.
- 24:57Speaker 4: She's so fucking annoying.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Yeah, and like Aspens, nothing like her.
- 25:00Speaker 1: She's like demure, very modern, very mindful, mindful, mindful of
- 25:04Speaker 1: very demure.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Like she's quiet.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Mckelty's a lot like Christine. Gwen's a lot like Christine.
- 25:09Speaker 1: But then Isabelle is also pretty quiet. Yeah, I'm not
- 25:13Speaker 1: sure how truly's going to come out, but I have
- 25:15Speaker 1: a hunch she's gonna be a probably more cheltyish, yeah,
- 25:19Speaker 1: versus Aspen.
- 25:20Speaker 3: But I agree, Karen.
- 25:22Speaker 1: I have been saying Christine is completely performative, like as
- 25:26Speaker 1: religious as she was, which they addressed in this week's episode,
- 25:30Speaker 1: like she was one of the most dogmatic religious people
- 25:34Speaker 1: in the family. Like, but how real could it have
- 25:37Speaker 1: been if you just chucked it all in a matter
- 25:39Speaker 1: of three months, got a fucking tattoo, started drinking vodka
- 25:43Speaker 1: and having fornication fornications sacts. But David Woollect, anything real?
- 25:48Speaker 3: What's real with you? Christine? Right?
- 25:50Speaker 1: And now we have her on our television fucking performing
- 25:53Speaker 1: romance because that's all she ever really wanted was a
- 25:57Speaker 1: romantic relationship where somebody loved her. And so now that
- 26:00Speaker 1: that's what she's performing. Yeah, because I think she's said
- 26:03Speaker 1: inside and at some point, honey, those veils are gonna drop.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Oh for sure, she's gonna have to sit with herself yep,
- 26:11Speaker 1: and all of her needs and all of her desires
- 26:13Speaker 1: because heads up, David can't provide all of that for you.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Only you can provide that for yourself exactly. But do
- 26:20Speaker 1: you have the resources? Are we even aware that this
- 26:23Speaker 1: is an issue?
- 26:24Speaker 3: No, she's not.
- 26:25Speaker 4: She should take Mary's course hashtag worthy.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I think she could be a guest speaker. She has
- 26:31Speaker 1: worthy that as far as she's concerned. None of these
- 26:34Speaker 1: women think they need any work whatsoever.
- 26:36Speaker 4: It's so annoying it is. But thanks Karen for your karents.
- 26:39Speaker 3: Thanks High from Florida, Hi from Florida.
- 26:41Speaker 7: Dempster.
- 26:42Speaker 4: All right, next one we have is a twofer. So
- 26:44Speaker 4: she sent two messages, okay, and it's from Jazzmin.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Jasmin?
- 26:48Speaker 1: Are the messages on the same subject a continuation of
- 26:52Speaker 1: the first message, because otherwise I'm gonna forget Like I'm
- 26:55Speaker 1: in the fifties, I don't have.
- 26:57Speaker 3: The bandwidth to remember.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Like one hundred and eight second of content.
- 27:02Speaker 4: I'll try to remember, thank you.
- 27:03Speaker 7: Hello to the beautiful Beatrice and my fellow Torrian Queen Dlia.
- 27:07Speaker 7: This Sjasmine calling you from a dumpster in Atlanta, Georgia.
- 27:11Speaker 7: I want to found off about Robin and these two
- 27:13Speaker 7: conflicting ideas that she wants us to believe that production
- 27:16Speaker 7: never calls her out on. On the one hand, we
- 27:18Speaker 7: are to believe that the og wives and the children
- 27:22Speaker 7: treated her children and herself terribly. They bullied them, they
- 27:25Speaker 7: didn't accept them, the whole nine while we're also to
- 27:28Speaker 7: believe that Robin is sliding down the wall in her
- 27:31Speaker 7: closet at one am because she's so sad that they're
- 27:34Speaker 7: not around now. I'm not saying she shouldn't be sad,
- 27:36Speaker 7: or she's not sad that the family has fallen apart,
- 27:40Speaker 7: but didn't she feel at least some relief that people
- 27:43Speaker 7: that were mistreating her are now gone? Unless you're lying,
- 27:47Speaker 7: Because if you're not lying, then what does that say
- 27:50Speaker 7: about you as a mother that you allowed your children
- 27:53Speaker 7: to be in a terrible situation with people that mistreated
- 27:56Speaker 7: them all so that you can sit on some community
- 27:59Speaker 7: peen and get a few coins. So which is it.
- 28:02Speaker 7: Did they treat you terribly? Or are you a shit
- 28:04Speaker 7: mother that did not take care of your kids appropriately
- 28:07Speaker 7: and let them continue to be mistreated. I love you guys,
- 28:10Speaker 7: as the show been listening for a while. You're doing
- 28:12Speaker 7: a great job. Let me know what you guys think.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Bye, Okay, let's just deal with that.
- 28:16Speaker 4: Yeah, because that's a really good yes. Yeah.
- 28:19Speaker 3: So she's lying.
- 28:21Speaker 1: She's definitely because in this week's episode, Jasmine, she says
- 28:26Speaker 1: that the women have been on a campaign against her. Now,
- 28:29Speaker 1: if I have somebody in my life who's been and
- 28:32Speaker 1: I have actually who's been on a campaign against me,
- 28:36Speaker 1: m hmm, and who's talking mad shit and throwing me
- 28:39Speaker 1: under the bus and mischaracterizing me any chance that they get,
- 28:43Speaker 1: I have no desire to be around them whatsoever. I
- 28:47Speaker 1: don't want to have Thanksgiving with them. I don't want
- 28:49Speaker 1: to have Christmas with them. I don't want to have
- 28:51Speaker 1: a big family celebration with them. I never want to
- 28:53Speaker 1: see them again. They are not invited into my sphere
- 28:56Speaker 1: of influence. Right, So that makes total sense. If the
- 29:00Speaker 1: women were doing that to Robin all along, she would
- 29:03Speaker 1: not want to be with them anyway. She would not
- 29:05Speaker 1: be taking ambient and crying in her bathroom with her
- 29:08Speaker 1: iPhone iPods in.
- 29:10Speaker 4: Or would I hear pods pods?
- 29:13Speaker 3: She would not be doing all that. Yeah, so this
- 29:16Speaker 3: is all a lie. It's all her performance.
- 29:17Speaker 4: Yep, this is the whole in her lies, Like this
- 29:20Speaker 4: is why everybody knows she's bullshit. And also, why are
- 29:22Speaker 4: we just now hearing about the wives and their campaign
- 29:26Speaker 4: against you now after they're all gone, Like we're hearing
- 29:29Speaker 4: about it afterwards? Like she kind of, I guess, like
- 29:32Speaker 4: alluded to it in some of the earlier seasons, but
- 29:34Speaker 4: not really. Now she's saying things like, well, none of
- 29:37Speaker 4: the wives had my back, but you know, like I
- 29:39Speaker 4: still miss them about them?
- 29:41Speaker 3: Why would you? And her family?
- 29:43Speaker 4: It's like no, And then also like her crying in
- 29:46Speaker 4: her closet high on ambien, like you're wanting us to
- 29:49Speaker 4: believe that you miss this family and miss having them around,
- 29:52Speaker 4: and you want them all to still be a part
- 29:55Speaker 4: of your life. You still want to be in plural marriage,
- 29:58Speaker 4: but you didn't make any effort at all to keep
- 30:01Speaker 4: the family together. You segregated Cody and kept him in
- 30:05Speaker 4: your house during COVID and use that as an excuse
- 30:08Speaker 4: to keep him with you twenty four to seven. So
- 30:10Speaker 4: none of the other kids and none of the other
- 30:12Speaker 4: wives got to have their husband or their father. But
- 30:16Speaker 4: now you're sad that everybody is gone when you haven't
- 30:20Speaker 4: seen Janelle in years, you haven't seen Christine or any
- 30:22Speaker 4: of her kids in years, Like shut the fuck up.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Yeah, And I don't understand how they're so comfy just
- 30:31Speaker 1: straight gas lighting, I know, Like it's all on film. Yeah,
- 30:35Speaker 1: Like in a relationship, if you're with somebody who's a
- 30:37Speaker 1: narcissist and a gas lighter, like it's usually not on recording.
- 30:41Speaker 1: You can't like usually go back and look at the
- 30:43Speaker 1: records and say, see you said it right then, I know.
- 30:46Speaker 1: I'm like, usually you have to defend yourself in kind
- 30:49Speaker 1: of a vacuum with a narcissist.
- 30:51Speaker 3: But we have it on record.
- 30:53Speaker 1: We have nineteen seasons of all of the things that
- 30:56Speaker 1: you did, all of the things that were said across
- 30:58Speaker 1: the kids and across the world wives and.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Shit that you said yourself.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Cody says stuff and then in the next episode, sometimes
- 31:05Speaker 1: in the same episode, he's like saying something completely different
- 31:08Speaker 1: and or like he never said that. So like they're
- 31:11Speaker 1: gaslighting and they're rewriting history, and they think that they're
- 31:15Speaker 1: gonna be able to do that.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Of course, Like if I just keep saying.
- 31:18Speaker 1: That I miss these women and that I've always wanted
- 31:21Speaker 1: us to be a big family, at some point, everyone
- 31:23Speaker 1: out there in the dumpsters across the world, they're gonna
- 31:26Speaker 1: believe me.
- 31:27Speaker 3: Yeap, But no, that's not how that works.
- 31:29Speaker 4: No, And like Robin only says that shit just to
- 31:32Speaker 4: try and take the heat off of her because she
- 31:34Speaker 4: doesn't want people to hate her. But it's like, girl,
- 31:36Speaker 4: people hate you just for being Cody's wife, but they
- 31:39Speaker 4: also hate you because you're a big fat liar. Like
- 31:43Speaker 4: you're such a bitch.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Again, it's not authentic.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Yeah, and we have said many times and I'll say
- 31:48Speaker 1: it again if you just owned it, if you just
- 31:50Speaker 1: said yeah, like I was a total jealous bitch, or like, yeah,
- 31:53Speaker 1: I was completely insecure. I did not know how to
- 31:56Speaker 1: handle Christine's energy because she's a.
- 31:58Speaker 3: Whole hell of a lot so annoying.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Janelle intimidated me. I used Mary because that was like
- 32:03Speaker 1: she was the Like, if you just told the truth,
- 32:05Speaker 1: even if some of it was.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Terrible, we would have so much more respect for you.
- 32:09Speaker 1: And I dare say there would be a lot of
- 32:10Speaker 1: people who actually rooted for you.
- 32:12Speaker 3: Yep, but you.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Can't tell the truth for the life of you.
- 32:16Speaker 4: And so fuck you Robin Brown, Fuck you rob It.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Okay, next message from.
- 32:23Speaker 7: Just me, all right, this is jazz And again with
- 32:25Speaker 7: my second point, it was not allowed disregard. But what
- 32:30Speaker 7: is this new narrative that they're shoving down our throats
- 32:32Speaker 7: about Robin being shy my pretty shy wife and she's
- 32:37Speaker 7: you know, she's shy. She's shy and not shy around me. Like,
- 32:40Speaker 7: what is this? I know that they're on this rehab tour,
- 32:42Speaker 7: this rehab our image tour, but it's not landing correctly
- 32:46Speaker 7: because we have watched this forty five year old divorcee
- 32:50Speaker 7: mother of five on an internationalist syndicated reality show for
- 32:54Speaker 7: eighteen seasons, and she has been anything but shy. This
- 32:57Speaker 7: is the same woman the essentially called the other women's
- 33:00Speaker 7: fat bitches in front of Suki when she said they've
- 33:02Speaker 7: gained weight and they've got stretch marks. And I also said, well,
- 33:06Speaker 7: you know, they're rejecting Cody affection wise, you know, as
- 33:10Speaker 7: if they're not busting it down the way Cody likes.
- 33:13Speaker 7: And that's why he doesn't love them, So why does
- 33:16Speaker 7: she become so shy like I don't. It's infantilizing, and
- 33:19Speaker 7: that's what I think I'm gonna call this in fancialization
- 33:22Speaker 7: of Robin Brown, that we are announce believe that she's
- 33:24Speaker 7: some teenage dream and not the middle aged mean girl
- 33:28Speaker 7: that she is. AnyWho, again, love you guys, love the show,
- 33:34Speaker 7: love watching it with you, keeping the good work.
- 33:36Speaker 9: Bye.
- 33:37Speaker 1: So Robin, for me, does strike me as socially reserved,
- 33:43Speaker 1: like somebody who's not very comfortable, you know, divulging a lot,
- 33:49Speaker 1: being super talkative, like compare and contrast with somebody like Christine.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Like she does strike me as somebody who might be
- 33:55Speaker 1: a little more quiet, who might be a little bit
- 33:58Speaker 1: more into herself. I wouldn't necessar thoroughly say an introvert. Yeah,
- 34:01Speaker 1: when she's sitting alone on a couch, she's gonna talk
- 34:05Speaker 1: shit with producers that she trusts because they've always had
- 34:08Speaker 1: her back and they don't challenge her. When she's sitting
- 34:10Speaker 1: with Suki, who I think has been handpicked so that
- 34:13Speaker 1: she doesn't ask too many questions, so she feels safe,
- 34:16Speaker 1: I feel safe puke. Then she feels emboldened to say
- 34:22Speaker 1: it with her chest. But she would never say this
- 34:24Speaker 1: shit to Janelle's face that she's been saying on the couch.
- 34:28Speaker 1: She would not say this shit straight to Christine. Like
- 34:30Speaker 1: you see how she's acting when she goes over to Michelte's.
- 34:33Speaker 3: To take care of the baby.
- 34:34Speaker 1: She's smiling, she's timid, she's in the background. I don't
- 34:39Speaker 1: think she's comfortable being the center of attention. I don't
- 34:42Speaker 1: know that that means she's shy. I just think it
- 34:45Speaker 1: means that. And it's so weird because behind the scenes
- 34:48Speaker 1: in her own home, she's straight up machiavellian.
- 34:52Speaker 3: She's like she's like a wizard.
- 34:54Speaker 1: She's controlling everything, and probably with her kids and I
- 35:00Speaker 1: with Cody, she's ruling with.
- 35:01Speaker 3: An iron fist.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Yeah, not shy there, but like with other people, especially
- 35:06Speaker 1: if they can see through her, like Mary, Christine and Janelle,
- 35:11Speaker 1: I do think she's a bit reserved.
- 35:12Speaker 3: What do you think.
- 35:13Speaker 4: I don't know if I would like call her reserved.
- 35:15Speaker 4: I think she's very covert, Like she is so fucking fake.
- 35:19Speaker 4: She'll be nice to your face, but then talk mad
- 35:22Speaker 4: shit when she's behind closed doors. She's one of those
- 35:25Speaker 4: people that like can talk shit, but can't take it.
- 35:28Speaker 4: So that's why she doesn't say it to anybody's faces,
- 35:30Speaker 4: because I'm like, if you're gonna talk shit, you better
- 35:33Speaker 4: say that shit to my face and then we can
- 35:34Speaker 4: have a conversation and a discussion. But she can't take
- 35:37Speaker 4: that because then she'll fake cry. So it's like she
- 35:40Speaker 4: weaponizes her tears. She weaponizes this like shy persona that
- 35:45Speaker 4: Cody has kind of given her. Cody looks at her
- 35:48Speaker 4: as this like shy, like damsel and distell delicate, like
- 35:53Speaker 4: I gotta protect her sensitive. Yeah, because she creates that
- 35:58Speaker 4: because she knows that that's the key to Cody's heart.
- 36:01Speaker 4: Cody wants a woman like that who's very passive, doesn't
- 36:05Speaker 4: talk back to him, doesn't question his authority, doesn't question
- 36:09Speaker 4: the patriarchy. So she goes along with it. But she
- 36:12Speaker 4: is mucky Aveelian behind closed doors. Now I don't know
- 36:15Speaker 4: if she like rules with an iron fist at home.
- 36:18Speaker 3: Oh, she's like silent treatment. She's like abusive in that way.
- 36:22Speaker 1: She's a withholder. She won't give him what he really
- 36:25Speaker 1: really wants. Yeah, she's probably threatening behind the scene, like well,
- 36:28Speaker 1: if you don't do this, we lose everything. And then
- 36:31Speaker 1: you don't think I can find me another man curly
- 36:33Speaker 1: cue Shirley Temple.
- 36:34Speaker 3: I could see her.
- 36:35Speaker 4: Being like that, oh yike, because I could see that
- 36:37Speaker 4: it's not.
- 36:37Speaker 3: Like a screamer or a yeller.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Although I don't know, maybe you never really know, but
- 36:42Speaker 1: definitely she's wearing the pants in my opinion.
- 36:45Speaker 4: Well, when she talks about like Cody having like his
- 36:48Speaker 4: murder face and being very angry, like I believe that
- 36:52Speaker 4: from her. I feel like Cody is more vocal in
- 36:55Speaker 4: his anger. So he's probably kind of an intimidating, like
- 36:59Speaker 4: scary present to be around. I mean, he's scary on
- 37:02Speaker 4: TV sometimes when he's talking, well, like when because he's
- 37:04Speaker 4: kind of a n narcissist and he's like spewing this
- 37:08Speaker 4: evil shit all the time. Like that's kind of scary
- 37:10Speaker 4: to me. So I don't know, I can see him
- 37:13Speaker 4: being like that at home, even last week when he
- 37:15Speaker 4: was shoveling snow with his real kids, Like he's telling
- 37:19Speaker 4: himself he can't get mad at Ariella or whatever for
- 37:21Speaker 4: hitting the truck because he's on camera, because he knows
- 37:24Speaker 4: that if he actually yells at Ariella, it's going to
- 37:28Speaker 4: make him look bad on cameras, Like, I don't know,
- 37:30Speaker 4: I can I can believe that narrative from Robin that
- 37:32Speaker 4: he's like a scary person to be around, but she
- 37:35Speaker 4: knows how to work him.
- 37:36Speaker 1: I don't think she's scared of him though. I don't
- 37:39Speaker 1: think she's scared of him personally.
- 37:42Speaker 4: Maybe she's just as scary.
- 37:44Speaker 3: Maybe that's what I'm saying.
- 37:45Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe she's exactly what I'm saying.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Yeah, she's probably more scary, Yeah, in a different way,
- 37:50Speaker 1: in an intelligent way, again, not like book smart, like
- 37:54Speaker 1: instinct smart, Yeah, instinct intelligent.
- 37:57Speaker 4: Very manipulative. That it's scary. Yeah they jasmine, Yes, really great,
- 38:01Speaker 4: very good.
- 38:02Speaker 3: All right.
- 38:02Speaker 4: Next caller we have is Susan.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Hi. My name is Susan, and I'm calling from the
- 38:07Speaker 2: dumpster of Wisconsin. I had a conspiracy thought about Sister
- 38:14Speaker 2: Wives and wanted to see y'all's thought on it. Maybe
- 38:17Speaker 2: this is a stretch, but whatever. And David I saw
- 38:24Speaker 2: somewhere that he tried to get divorced from his late wife,
- 38:28Speaker 2: that there was some sort of divorce filing that happened,
- 38:32Speaker 2: but then they were still married and then she ends
- 38:34Speaker 2: up dying from suicide. Based on what I've read, and
- 38:40Speaker 2: then when he was talking about his sisters and their
- 38:42Speaker 2: involvement in polygamy, he said that his sister tried to
- 38:46Speaker 2: get a divorce but ultimately got out of polygamy because
- 38:51Speaker 2: her husband died. Does this seem like a coincidence to you, guys,
- 38:56Speaker 2: I mean, the man owns a construction company. He can
- 38:58Speaker 2: probably find a way to bury a body anyway, just
- 39:01Speaker 2: my thoughts, and I would love to hear y'all. Thank you.
- 39:04Speaker 4: I love conspiracy that he's a murderer.
- 39:07Speaker 1: I was like that went off into a very dark
- 39:09Speaker 1: place very quickly. I'm trying to connect what could have
- 39:13Speaker 1: happened to his sister's husband with what she was saying
- 39:16Speaker 1: about David's first wife and how she passed.
- 39:19Speaker 4: Maybe he killed the husband.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Too, or like he killed them both. Maybe, oh my god,
- 39:26Speaker 1: well I doubt it. And the only thing I've really
- 39:29Speaker 1: heard about his first wife, and I don't like to
- 39:32Speaker 1: speak ill of the dead, and I'm not going to
- 39:34Speaker 1: speak ill because I don't know much, but I heard
- 39:36Speaker 1: that she had some issues. I don't know if there
- 39:39Speaker 1: was some substance stuff going on or if it was
- 39:42Speaker 1: just strictly mental issues. But I know in the letter
- 39:46Speaker 1: that she left behind. She was quite accusatory toward him
- 39:50Speaker 1: and his controlling nature and the way that he dealt
- 39:53Speaker 1: with her, and like she called him out in her
- 39:56Speaker 1: actual note. Yeah, so I don't think he killed her, yep,
- 40:01Speaker 1: But I think that that was way more troubled than
- 40:05Speaker 1: this impression we're getting of a David Woolley now in
- 40:08Speaker 1: twenty twenty two with Christine, this happy, go lucky guy
- 40:12Speaker 1: who's besotted and in love. I'm like, okay, but like,
- 40:14Speaker 1: what about the stuff that your wife had actually said?
- 40:18Speaker 4: Yep. I don't know, Like I get kind of weird
- 40:20Speaker 4: vibes from him. I don't know if they're necessarily nefarious
- 40:23Speaker 4: or murderous. Like it's kind of funny to me though,
- 40:28Speaker 4: Like if you are going to be a murderer, that
- 40:30Speaker 4: would be a good profession to be in. Yes, for sure,
- 40:33Speaker 4: But I just I don't know. Every time I see
- 40:36Speaker 4: him on my television, I'm like, I just get a
- 40:38Speaker 4: weird vibe from him. Maybe it's because he reminds me
- 40:40Speaker 4: of my stepfather, and so maybe I'm just like attributing
- 40:43Speaker 4: it to that, But I don't know. I don't think
- 40:46Speaker 4: he's like a bad guy. Per se seems to be
- 40:50Speaker 4: okay because all of his kids still have relationships with him, right,
- 40:53Speaker 4: He's got really good relationships with his grandkids. He seems
- 40:56Speaker 4: to be really good with Christine's kids. So I'm hoping
- 40:59Speaker 4: for the best. But there might be some weird like
- 41:03Speaker 4: energy that he's reserving for, like I said earlier, like
- 41:07Speaker 4: later down to their marriage, like when you have conflicts,
- 41:10Speaker 4: like maybe he's a fucking asshole, maybe he screams, Maybe
- 41:13Speaker 4: he is kind of a controlling dude. I don't know.
- 41:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, when you when you marry that behavior that
- 41:22Speaker 1: was alluded to by the late wife. With the fact
- 41:25Speaker 1: that they're in the honeymoon period, the fact that we
- 41:27Speaker 1: don't know anything about him, he's not really truly vetted. Yep,
- 41:31Speaker 1: maybe Aspen and Isabelle and Peyden had heard some of
- 41:35Speaker 1: these things as well. Maybe there's like a legitimate reason
- 41:38Speaker 1: that they're actually concerned, which they cannot say.
- 41:41Speaker 3: And so it's it's a it's a it's a.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Worry that he might have some of those behaviors, and
- 41:47Speaker 1: like how would Christine actually deal with that?
- 41:50Speaker 3: Yet I do not know exactly.
- 41:52Speaker 4: Yeah, only time will tell, yes, But thanks for your conspiracy.
- 41:56Speaker 1: Yeah, we love a good conspiracy or in his dumpster.
- 41:59Speaker 4: All right, The next message we have is from an
- 42:01Speaker 4: anonymous Raccoons on her Raccoons.
- 42:05Speaker 8: This is Julie from for Lauderdale. Just want to let
- 42:07Speaker 8: you know that I absolutely love you, guys. I am
- 42:10Speaker 8: so happy to be with you in a dumpster. Excuse
- 42:13Speaker 8: my voice.
- 42:14Speaker 3: I'm getting over a cold, but I just wanted.
- 42:17Speaker 8: To point it out episode ten, how Julie's always in
- 42:20Speaker 8: the background with Christine and David, and that just got
- 42:24Speaker 8: me feeling like so happy, so excited for her.
- 42:27Speaker 3: This kid gets to grow up with like a real.
- 42:31Speaker 8: Dad, someone that's present, someone that's there, because I felt
- 42:36Speaker 8: like watching all previous episodes, Cody wasn't really taking the
- 42:41Speaker 8: kids on all these exciting adventures at least not how
- 42:46Speaker 8: Christine and David are doing it. But I just have
- 42:49Speaker 8: like some hope for her. She's still I believe she's thirteen,
- 42:52Speaker 8: that she's still gonna have like a real father figure
- 42:55Speaker 8: guide her, and I feel like that's going to be
- 42:58Speaker 8: so amazing for her. So I don't know, let me know,
- 43:02Speaker 8: you love you, guys.
- 43:03Speaker 1: We were just talking about this actually on the ride
- 43:05Speaker 1: over here, how like with Isabelle and we saw this
- 43:10Speaker 1: in this week's episode, episode ten, like she's currently mourning
- 43:15Speaker 1: the loss of a father she wishes she could have,
- 43:20Speaker 1: which she knows she can't have because that's just not
- 43:22Speaker 1: Cody at all. Yeah, and she's looking at David and
- 43:26Speaker 1: she's thinking, like, Wow, he's so present, his kids really
- 43:28Speaker 1: love him, Like what would that be like? But Truly
- 43:30Speaker 1: still has time. And I was telling you that I
- 43:33Speaker 1: can actually see a future where Truly becomes way more
- 43:36Speaker 1: connected and close with David and potentially doesn't even talk
- 43:42Speaker 1: to Cody because I don't think Cody likes Truly. Oh No,
- 43:45Speaker 1: Like in a few of these scenes this season where
- 43:48Speaker 1: he walks into a room or a party, Truly's right
- 43:51Speaker 1: there and he doesn't even address her. He has to
- 43:53Speaker 1: be reminded that she's there to even say hello to her.
- 43:57Speaker 1: And now after the lawsuit with Christine's suing him for
- 44:00Speaker 1: child support, I think he's going to also at least
- 44:03Speaker 1: energetically attach that to Truly yep, and it's going to
- 44:06Speaker 1: further degrade the relationship. And I just feel bad for her.
- 44:09Speaker 1: But she's young enough now where she can forge this
- 44:12Speaker 1: new kind of relationship with David yep, And it would
- 44:16Speaker 1: be great for her so that I am hopeful. But
- 44:18Speaker 1: in this episode she also bit his hand, which that's funny, yah.
- 44:24Speaker 1: Or is it a form of communication. Is she trying
- 44:27Speaker 1: to tell him don't touch my mom? Why are you
- 44:31Speaker 1: touching my mom? Is she trying to actually say something
- 44:33Speaker 1: or is she just being playful and that's how she
- 44:35Speaker 1: does it.
- 44:36Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 44:37Speaker 4: I don't I think it's a bit of both. But
- 44:39Speaker 4: like I have seen this happen where like a step
- 44:42Speaker 4: parent can be the main figure in this kid's life
- 44:46Speaker 4: and it can be beneficial, Like this happened with my
- 44:48Speaker 4: younger sister when my parents got divorced. She was like eleven,
- 44:52Speaker 4: so kind of roughly the same age. My dad totally
- 44:56Speaker 4: had a bit of resentment towards us kids because we
- 44:59Speaker 4: were a lot like our mom, and we were with
- 45:01Speaker 4: my mom. You know, most of the time. My dad
- 45:04Speaker 4: was resentful towards my mom, so therefore resentful towards us,
- 45:07Speaker 4: and it caused a lot of like friction, Not saying
- 45:11Speaker 4: my dad is like Cody Brown, because he's not at all.
- 45:14Speaker 4: And eventually things got better, but like between him and
- 45:18Speaker 4: my younger sister, things never really rekindled, and so my
- 45:21Speaker 4: stepfather became the father vigor that my little sister needed,
- 45:26Speaker 4: and you know, they have a way better relationship than
- 45:28Speaker 4: she has with her own dad. So like I can
- 45:30Speaker 4: see that happening with Truly, and I do hope that
- 45:32Speaker 4: that happens, because you know, David seems like an okay guy,
- 45:36Speaker 4: and like hopefully he can step up to that and
- 45:38Speaker 4: be there for Truly in that regard. As for her
- 45:42Speaker 4: acting out, like with her pulling them apart and biting
- 45:45Speaker 4: his hand, I think that's like a response to the
- 45:47Speaker 4: fact that Christina's moving way too fucking fast and not
- 45:51Speaker 4: considering Truly's feelings in the matter. She's not considering anybody's feelings,
- 45:55Speaker 4: but she should be really conscious of Truly since Truly
- 45:58Speaker 4: lives with her and has to watch her mom make
- 46:01Speaker 4: out with David all the time.
- 46:03Speaker 1: And does she hear them have sex exactly if she's
- 46:06Speaker 1: going over to David's house to have sex she's taking
- 46:08Speaker 1: Truly or maybe dropping Truly with Aspen or mckeltie, or
- 46:12Speaker 1: if David's coming over, like she maybe hearing it, or
- 46:16Speaker 1: the very least she kind of knows it.
- 46:18Speaker 3: Kids know way more than we think they know.
- 46:21Speaker 4: Exactly, And if she is experiencing that that shit's traumatizing, Okay,
- 46:26Speaker 4: especially for a thirteen year old, fourteen year old, Like,
- 46:28Speaker 4: I don't care what anybody says. That shit's traumatizing and gross.
- 46:31Speaker 4: And I could totally see Christine not caring at all
- 46:35Speaker 4: because she's getting her Box eight for the first time
- 46:37Speaker 4: in forever. Yeah, she's having this like sexual renaissance. She's
- 46:41Speaker 4: having this romantic time with David, but she's not giving
- 46:44Speaker 4: a crap about her kids.
- 46:46Speaker 1: So maybe even telling herself, well, I want to model
- 46:49Speaker 1: and demonstrate to truly what a good, healthy relationship is
- 46:53Speaker 1: between a man and a woman, because she's never seen
- 46:55Speaker 1: it with me and Cody. But like, I can see
- 46:57Speaker 1: Christine giving herself liberties. But of course we are completely
- 47:01Speaker 1: speculating and we have no idea what's actually going on.
- 47:04Speaker 1: And I hope that this is a great result for truly,
- 47:07Speaker 1: I do think there's reason that we can all be
- 47:09Speaker 1: hopeful for that. But I am a little concerned as well. Yeah,
- 47:13Speaker 1: especially if he's murdering people embarrassed.
- 47:16Speaker 3: In his backyard.
- 47:18Speaker 4: Right, And I mean, like Cody, she doesn't have like
- 47:20Speaker 4: a good father figure in her life at all, like
- 47:23Speaker 4: or even like a male figure in her life besides
- 47:26Speaker 4: maybe Peyden or or Midge maybe, but like Cody has
- 47:30Speaker 4: never cared, Like even at her birth, he's going he's
- 47:33Speaker 4: leaving the hospital to go make out with Robin. So
- 47:36Speaker 4: like he's never cared. Even with Truly had all of
- 47:39Speaker 4: her health issues. I don't think he was even like
- 47:42Speaker 4: at any of.
- 47:42Speaker 1: The doctor's responsible for along with Christine, right, Yeah.
- 47:45Speaker 4: Like he didn't give a shit. So I feel bad
- 47:47Speaker 4: for Truly in that regard. But hopefully David can fill
- 47:50Speaker 4: that void. Yeah, same thing for Isabelle. I hope that
- 47:53Speaker 4: he can help with that.
- 47:54Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 47:55Speaker 4: Yeah, that's it.
- 47:56Speaker 3: That's the last spe That was the last speak part.
- 47:58Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 47:58Speaker 4: I thought we had more, but that was it.
- 48:00Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 48:00Speaker 1: We had so many great conversations. I actually really love
- 48:04Speaker 1: hearing from you. You to do spark my brain and
- 48:06Speaker 1: I have like different thoughts and we're going into different
- 48:09Speaker 1: areas like murder murder, which is fabulous. Yeah, okay, so
- 48:17Speaker 1: I guess that's it. We're going to be back next
- 48:20Speaker 1: week to talk Sister wives again. We also want to
- 48:24Speaker 1: let you know kind of what's coming up on the schedule.
- 48:27Speaker 1: In December, we're going to be starting the Last Resort
- 48:29Speaker 1: which is a Ninety Day Fiance offshoot. And look, you
- 48:35Speaker 1: might not watch Ninety Day Fiance, and I don't blame you.
- 48:38Speaker 1: It's very long and a lot of it is like
- 48:40Speaker 1: super lame, correct, But our experience with the Last Resort
- 48:46Speaker 1: last year, we had a lot of fun with that,
- 48:49Speaker 1: and so even if you don't watch, you can follow along.
- 48:52Speaker 3: But if you watch and follow along, it's going to
- 48:55Speaker 3: be a really fun time.
- 48:56Speaker 1: And then I think sometime in January, which I can't
- 48:59Speaker 1: believe we're almost January twenty twenty.
- 49:01Speaker 3: Hell oh, the time is speeding up.
- 49:05Speaker 1: Either January or February, I think The Valley comes back.
- 49:08Speaker 3: Yeah, now The Valley.
- 49:09Speaker 1: For those of you who don't know, this is a
- 49:11Speaker 1: Bravo show. It's kind of an offshoot of a show
- 49:14Speaker 1: called vander Pump Rules.
- 49:15Speaker 3: I assume most of you know what this is. We
- 49:17Speaker 3: covered it last year.
- 49:19Speaker 1: A lot of people on YouTube really didn't catch on.
- 49:21Speaker 1: But like when I tell like, when I tell you,
- 49:26Speaker 1: this show is really fucking good, I mean it. And
- 49:30Speaker 1: there's a lot of buzz happening right now for the
- 49:33Speaker 1: show between two of the main characters, Jack's who is
- 49:38Speaker 1: such a fucking colossal asshole, My god piece of human
- 49:40Speaker 1: shit and his wife Brittany, who are currently going through
- 49:43Speaker 1: a separation and it's so terribly toxic in a way
- 49:48Speaker 1: that only Bravo can be. Yeah, and apparently I think
- 49:51Speaker 1: there's four different couples on this show and all of
- 49:54Speaker 1: them are having marital problems.
- 49:57Speaker 4: I love it, and.
- 49:59Speaker 3: It is so drama.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Is just when you compare it to Sister Wives, how
- 50:03Speaker 1: much again is like we're looking into the stars, try
- 50:07Speaker 1: and divine for ourselves what the fuck is going on?
- 50:10Speaker 4: For real?
- 50:11Speaker 1: Yeah, like contrast that, compare, contrast that with the value
- 50:14Speaker 1: where it's in your face drama and right now at
- 50:18Speaker 1: least it's authentic. It's real dramas that's actually happening.
- 50:21Speaker 3: And so I am so looking forward to it.
- 50:23Speaker 4: Yeah, it'll be a nice palate cleanser after yes, the
- 50:26Speaker 4: fakery that is Sister Wives. Yes, and maybe we'll be
- 50:30Speaker 4: done with Sister Wives by then.
- 50:31Speaker 1: I don't really know how many I was actually wondering
- 50:34Speaker 1: that I think we're on episode ten. I wouldn't be
- 50:37Speaker 1: a bit surprised if we had like seventeen or eighteen
- 50:39Speaker 1: actual episodes content and then three or four Sukiyana Snorfest
- 50:45Speaker 1: terrible potentially also look back and talk backs all those things.
- 50:49Speaker 3: We could be here until February.
- 50:53Speaker 1: We could be here until February with Sister Wives, but
- 50:57Speaker 1: at least we'll be together.
- 50:58Speaker 3: Yeah, at least we have each other. Yeah, yess so yeah.
- 51:02Speaker 3: But those are some of the things we're looking forward to. Also.
- 51:05Speaker 1: By the way, if you haven't joined our Patreon, you
- 51:07Speaker 1: really ought to. We are planning to cover a couple

- 51:19Speaker 1: react tell them in December.
- 51:24Speaker 4: It's a special called My Husband's Not Gay, and it's
- 51:27Speaker 4: about Mormons, like Mormon couples where the men are total
- 51:33Speaker 4: fucking gay guys, Like they are all like fucking each other,
- 51:38Speaker 4: like they are so fucking gay, right, but they're married
- 51:41Speaker 4: to these women and the women are like, yeah, my
- 51:44Speaker 4: husband experiences same sex attraction, we call it SSA, but
- 51:48Speaker 4: he's not actually gay because he's still married to me
- 51:51Speaker 4: and he fucks me once a month, So I promise
- 51:53Speaker 4: he's not gay and it's really good.
- 51:55Speaker 3: How did I not hear about this? I'm twenty fifteen.
- 51:58Speaker 3: I would have been all over that.
