I once found this phrase to be funny. Now I realize it's a way to try and remove responsibility from your life. Most people will live a majority of their lives as adults. Your childhood is meant to prepare you for this. As a species, we used to understand that. Now you just want everything handed to you on the silver platter you didn't earn. I LOVE being an adult.
