- 0:18Speaker 4: What's up?
- 0:19Speaker 2: Everybody? Lost time?
- 0:22Speaker 1: My blow it, dude, it's golden that because Arkansas's not.
- 0:29Speaker 5: No, it's oh that's what I did. I got like
- 0:31Speaker 5: a canker sore.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Oh the herbs.
- 0:34Speaker 5: No, it's not a cold sort. It's a canker saw
- 0:38Speaker 5: that good, Okay, good time.
- 0:39Speaker 3: I get mean.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Trauma, like dentist or I will use a seapab and
- 0:44Speaker 2: so I have a new one and it's like drubbing
- 0:46Speaker 2: my lip and so I get a little mouth trauma.
- 0:49Speaker 5: I get the inside gets a little cuts.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Have you seen the actual cut?
- 0:53Speaker 5: No, I don't like looking at it.
- 0:54Speaker 1: I don't either, And it's crazy when you have one.
- 0:56Speaker 1: It's tiny because I have something in my mouth right
- 0:58Speaker 1: now that I haven't looked at it purpose. I haven't
- 1:01Speaker 1: looked at it, but I can picture it. It feels
- 1:04Speaker 1: like a skin tag is inside my cheeks.
- 1:05Speaker 5: Oh no, it's not. That's not that. Yours is like
- 1:07Speaker 5: a disease.
- 1:08Speaker 3: I'm dying.
- 1:09Speaker 5: Mind's like a little slit. It burned. You know it's
- 1:11Speaker 5: it's a canker sord.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I know what that is.
- 1:13Speaker 6: Uh.
- 1:13Speaker 5: Twenty five whistles presented by Draft Kings.

- 1:20Speaker 2: all it has to offer throughout the show DraftKings. The
- 1:22Speaker 2: Crown is yours. Coming up, we'll sit down with Logan Ryan.
- 1:25Speaker 2: We love that, dude. Want two super Bowls with the Patriots,
- 1:28Speaker 2: played for the Titans, played for the Bucks, played for
- 1:32Speaker 2: the made a bunch of money with the Giants forty
- 1:34Speaker 2: nine and then the forty I was getting there.
- 1:35Speaker 5: God, it's the last team.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I didn't want you to forget them.
- 1:39Speaker 5: I wasn't I wasn't fun like he went to the
- 1:41Speaker 5: Super Bowl to forty nine ers. Why would you jump
- 1:43Speaker 5: in like that?
- 1:44Speaker 3: I just want to make it does covering you, dude, covering.
- 1:46Speaker 5: So we did talk with Logan. Coming up in just
- 1:48Speaker 5: a little bit, let's.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Get to the tittle Tattle.
- 1:53Speaker 5: Name the tittle Tattle.
- 2:00Speaker 7: With Kevin mccoller junior out for Kansas the whole tournament,
- 2:03Speaker 7: how early do you think they'll get bounced.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I think they'll beat Sanford, which, by the way, I
- 2:07Speaker 2: don't know when you're gonna listen to this.
- 2:09Speaker 5: We're putting this up today, right yesser.
- 2:11Speaker 2: So I think they'll beat Sanford and they'll play the
- 2:14Speaker 2: winner of Man McNeese and Gonzaga, which.
- 2:17Speaker 5: I still think they could have beat.
- 2:19Speaker 2: They're still Kansas, right, and they still have other players
- 2:23Speaker 2: that may.
- 2:23Speaker 5: Not be the star.
- 2:26Speaker 2: That he is, but they can be stars too, or
- 2:29Speaker 2: they wouldn't be at Kansas. They have a great coach.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I can see them getting to the Sweet sixteen. Wow,
- 2:38Speaker 2: I think all optimist. No, I know, I don't give
- 2:41Speaker 2: a crap. I'm not a I mean, I'm not an optimist.
- 2:43Speaker 2: That means like I'm looking at the bright side. I
- 2:45Speaker 2: don't have a relationship with Kansas. They wouldn't let us
- 2:48Speaker 2: come to their campus and saying why are you?
- 2:51Speaker 8: I know, I'm just.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Giving an impartial trying to be objective. I still think
- 2:56Speaker 2: they can get to the Sweet sixteen by winning those
- 2:58Speaker 2: two games. Gonzaga is not who can SA is in
- 3:01Speaker 2: our minds. They're still good, but they're not that powerhouse
- 3:06Speaker 2: team with a couple of real good players that go
- 3:08Speaker 2: to the NBA. So I think they'll beat Sanford. I
- 3:10Speaker 2: think they'll probably beat the winner of mcneeskin Zaga. I
- 3:13Speaker 2: think they'll probably get to the sweet sixteen after in
- 3:16Speaker 2: eighteen points a game, I think they can find that.
- 3:18Speaker 2: But it wasn't just about how good he was offensively.
- 3:21Speaker 2: He is their star. Yeah, and I think a lot
- 3:22Speaker 2: of people that didn't know that probably picked Kansas to
- 3:24Speaker 2: go a lot further.
- 3:25Speaker 5: And I'm not looking at a bracket.
- 3:27Speaker 2: I think they're four seed, yes, right, yep, that was
- 3:31Speaker 2: already pretty low for Kansas typically.
- 3:35Speaker 6: Yeah, they limped into the tournament.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think they will go to a low
- 3:40Speaker 2: rehab physical therapy.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Oh.
- 3:42Speaker 5: I think I think they'll win a couple of games.
- 3:44Speaker 7: Okay, all right, Next up falling Cali Perry's comments about
- 3:47Speaker 7: not wanting to expand the tournament, how many teams would
- 3:49Speaker 7: you like to see in your ideal world in the tournament?
- 3:52Speaker 2: Don't I don't mind how it is now as far
- 3:55Speaker 2: as like the sixty four teams.
- 3:57Speaker 5: However, what I don't like is you win your conference.
- 4:01Speaker 2: It's a big deal if you're one of these big
- 4:03Speaker 2: majors and all of a sudden you got to go
- 4:04Speaker 2: play a freaking playing game.
- 4:06Speaker 5: Like, that's what I would change. That sucks.
- 4:08Speaker 2: At large teams should have to play in the playing games.
- 4:12Speaker 2: You got invited in your ten seed, you're in at large,
- 4:14Speaker 2: you're at what that's who should go the teams that
- 4:18Speaker 2: were invited in who didn't win their conference. That's the
- 4:21Speaker 2: change that I would make. I wouldn't make it one
- 4:23Speaker 2: hundred and twenty eighteen last a year. Well, it would's
- 4:32Speaker 2: last one more week. Okay, it's a long time march.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Man is already like once you just started on on
- 4:38Speaker 2: that week instead of a Thursday, started on a Tuesday Wednesday.
- 4:41Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Yeah, but you know, dude, once one like the finals
- 4:44Speaker 1: come around, you're a final four is like, man, it's
- 4:46Speaker 1: been it's been a while. Like I'm a little worn
- 4:48Speaker 1: out just from like the last two weeks.
- 4:49Speaker 5: That's really the NBA playoffs.
- 4:51Speaker 7: Yeah, but even after the first Yeah, that's the NBA
- 4:53Speaker 7: for sure, But that's after the first weekend.
- 4:55Speaker 6: Then you get a second aegain and you're like, dang,
- 4:57Speaker 6: we don't games.
- 4:57Speaker 5: On all day this Yeah, there's that, ye, but the.
- 5:00Speaker 6: NBA totally different animal. It's way too long, way too long.
- 5:04Speaker 2: But that feels the NBA playoffs almost feel like that's
- 5:07Speaker 2: the real season.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Yeah, just not everybody gets to play. Yeah, that sucks.
- 5:11Speaker 6: Only teams don't matter.
- 5:13Speaker 5: I'm good with it. I like college football to expand.
- 5:15Speaker 5: I like that. I think that should go to sixteen.
- 5:17Speaker 5: I'm good with this.
- 5:18Speaker 2: I just don't like that the teams that win their
- 5:21Speaker 2: conference don't automatically get in. That's what I would change.
- 5:23Speaker 2: You're not large or the last four to get in.
- 5:25Speaker 2: You're at long whatever the case is, you're a ten.
- 5:27Speaker 2: You're you go playing the playing game and check back
- 5:30Speaker 2: if you win.
- 5:31Speaker 3: That's what I would say.
- 5:31Speaker 7: All right, next, with a number of great coaches in
- 5:34Speaker 7: this tournament, if you could play for one, who would
- 5:35Speaker 7: it be?
- 5:37Speaker 2: Well, if you're playing for cal PARI Kentucky, you means
- 5:41Speaker 2: you probably going to the NBA.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Oh true, so you thought that way? Okay, I mean
- 5:45Speaker 1: this thing. I'm thinking, me, who has no chance of
- 5:47Speaker 1: going to the NBA? You know, like, realistically, you also
- 5:49Speaker 1: have no chance to play for these coaches. What if
- 5:52Speaker 1: they give me like a make a wish and I
- 5:53Speaker 1: get to pick one of these coaches?
- 5:54Speaker 3: You know what I mean? That's how I was thinking.
- 5:56Speaker 5: Okay, I like it. You come back.
- 5:57Speaker 2: You come back when you're making wish. But that's pretty funny.
- 6:00Speaker 2: I did not think about it that way.
- 6:02Speaker 5: I thought. I thought I thought the way of like
- 6:06Speaker 5: further my career. Sure, so let me go.
- 6:09Speaker 2: If CALIPARTI recruits me, I'm probably a high four or
- 6:13Speaker 2: five star kid, and I can be Wan and Downe
- 6:15Speaker 2: and get out to the NBA. Now that's not because
- 6:18Speaker 2: of playing for him the coach specifically, that's because of
- 6:21Speaker 2: the culture he's built.
- 6:22Speaker 5: Nearly recruits the kids, so Caliparty for that reason.
- 6:24Speaker 2: But if it were just like who I think I
- 6:26Speaker 2: would jive with the most, like the culture I like
- 6:30Speaker 2: like probably.
- 6:31Speaker 5: Shock a smart oh like I like him.
- 6:34Speaker 2: I like him when he was a Texas and he
- 6:37Speaker 2: turned Marquette into a real player. Seems like a guy
- 6:39Speaker 2: that can get at you, but also is the opposite
- 6:42Speaker 2: of what Belichick is in the documentary like has he
- 6:44Speaker 2: can do the opposite too, And.
- 6:46Speaker 1: He seems your style has got cool like shoes that
- 6:48Speaker 1: he wears.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I just I just feel like he would be able
- 6:52Speaker 2: to have a range whenever it comes to his coaching style.
- 6:56Speaker 2: He could be hard on you or he could also
- 6:58Speaker 2: be like, hey, that was a there's a great job
- 7:00Speaker 2: he did last night, so probably shocked as smart as
- 7:02Speaker 2: a human. But Calipari, because I want to go to
- 7:05Speaker 2: the NBA next year, you're making a wish.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not going to the NBA. Don't care about
- 7:11Speaker 1: joining the winning NYING soon. However, though this team is
- 7:14Speaker 1: a winning team and they're pretty good.
- 7:16Speaker 3: I'd played for Bruce Pearl.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Bruce Pearl just seems like a fun environment and whatever
- 7:22Speaker 1: he's gonna do is gonna be intense about it, and
- 7:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna have a blast playing for him.
- 7:25Speaker 3: I want to have barbecues and stuff.
- 7:27Speaker 2: No, you don't do that because then he'll get right right. Yeah, Yeah,
- 7:31Speaker 2: I don't like that stink. Who else would I even
- 7:34Speaker 2: just like to play for the coach at what longb
- 7:37Speaker 2: State who's now doing the pressors. Yeah, and he's like,
- 7:40Speaker 2: you guys can ask me a question, you know, because
- 7:41Speaker 2: he's been fired, but he's playing in the NCAA tournament
- 7:44Speaker 2: now because they won that they won his conference tournament.
- 7:46Speaker 2: It's Long Beach State, right. His press was so funny
- 7:49Speaker 2: because he's up. He goes, hey, you can ask me
- 7:50Speaker 2: whatever you want.
- 7:51Speaker 5: But I don't like it.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I'm not answering, I don't need more care anymore. That's great,
- 7:55Speaker 2: so funny.
- 7:56Speaker 7: Yeah, all right, next question, last one after Netflix announced
- 7:59Speaker 7: the new series. If you could watch a documentary on
- 8:02Speaker 7: any position in any sport, what would it be any sport?
- 8:05Speaker 5: That's a good question.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Receivers looks interesting to me because I think they actually
- 8:10Speaker 2: have bigger personalities, at least in the pasting.
- 8:12Speaker 5: Quarterbacks often have.
- 8:16Speaker 2: I mean, look at t O, look at Chad Johnson,
- 8:20Speaker 2: look at we could keep going.
- 8:21Speaker 5: You almost have to be a diva to be a
- 8:23Speaker 5: wide receiver.
- 8:23Speaker 2: You have to have that mentality of me, me, me,
- 8:25Speaker 2: because it's one on it's one on one or one
- 8:28Speaker 2: versus a zone or a quarterback. It's really you versus
- 8:31Speaker 2: everybody out there, right that it could be good. Like
- 8:35Speaker 2: DeVonta Adams is part of that show, though I don't
- 8:37Speaker 2: see him having a huge personality though, which will be interesting.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Yeah, he does Taco bell commercials. That's kind of cool.
- 8:42Speaker 5: Yeah, but it's in his house. He just go downstairs.
- 8:44Speaker 3: The guys down there.
- 8:46Speaker 5: Hard to do any sport, and let's just evaluate each
- 8:53Speaker 5: sport at a time. Then in football, I.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Like the kickers. I'm boring, No, no, no, all that. But
- 9:00Speaker 1: that's the thing, like we already kind of have an idea.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Okay, so I guess the question is are we basically
- 9:04Speaker 2: on the celebrity of the position or.
- 9:06Speaker 5: What the position does it?
- 9:08Speaker 2: It is different because you would go quarterbacks because they're
- 9:11Speaker 2: the most famous. But if it's just like what that
- 9:14Speaker 2: position is, what I have to deal with, what's the question?
- 9:17Speaker 7: Quarterbacks out? Because they already did it. Yes, we're not
- 9:19Speaker 7: doing for no quarterbacks, no receiver, it's the.
- 9:21Speaker 5: Celebrity of the of the position of the position.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Okay, well that's different because I was thinking along the
- 9:27Speaker 1: lines of like what would the reality show? How how
- 9:30Speaker 1: entertaining would that be? So I'm thinking like pictures would
- 9:32Speaker 1: be cool because they're off you know.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Day the three days with the Osbourne's Ozzy and the
- 9:36Speaker 2: family the other three days.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Yeah right, you know it's like what do they do
- 9:39Speaker 3: with the That's cool and that's good.
- 9:41Speaker 6: Yeah, I think that's cool to see the behind scenes
- 9:43Speaker 6: of like they're off days.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, just messing around with them because they're not
- 9:46Speaker 1: worried about playing because they're not playing for.
- 9:47Speaker 3: The next five days.
- 9:49Speaker 5: Are you going pictures?
- 9:50Speaker 3: I'm going pictures.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Pictures on Netflix and coming soon.
- 9:56Speaker 3: And they're just sitting there and being like, hey, what
- 9:57Speaker 3: are you doing today? Nothing, bro, I have a game
- 9:59Speaker 3: to four days.
- 10:00Speaker 6: Seeds in a cup from a distance.
- 10:02Speaker 5: Okay.
- 10:02Speaker 2: In football, quarterbacks to candle receivers. The next most exciting
- 10:06Speaker 2: position were probably linebackers because they're talking and having to
- 10:09Speaker 2: be the quarterback to the other side, like they're calling plays.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Oh yeah, a bit vocal. So in the football side,
- 10:14Speaker 2: i'd probably go with linebackers. I'm gonna get there. In baseball,
- 10:23Speaker 2: what's fun about and I played first base, is that
- 10:25Speaker 2: you talk to other players. Oh yeah, so you'd be
- 10:28Speaker 2: miked up for a lot of those interactions, and.
- 10:31Speaker 3: They always talk to the runner. What are they saying?
- 10:33Speaker 2: And you're also hearing the base coach talk to the runner,
- 10:35Speaker 2: but he's that would be good. So like no, first base,
- 10:42Speaker 2: it's it's as far as they ever got two tents,
- 10:43Speaker 2: like twenty with a girl.
- 10:44Speaker 5: So that's why.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Basketball big man the center, I feel that'd be weird.
- 10:55Speaker 1: In basketball, I mean point guard.
- 10:58Speaker 5: I mean they're the one.
- 10:59Speaker 2: But again basketball is almost in the NBA is almost
- 11:02Speaker 2: positionless now, so maybe like basketball, I do like basketball
- 11:05Speaker 2: white guy.
- 11:07Speaker 3: So there we go.
- 11:08Speaker 2: There's just not as much as not as many of them.
- 11:10Speaker 2: They're all foreign Prichard. They're like slow, goofy white like
- 11:15Speaker 2: they've had to like, Yeah, Netflix.
- 11:17Speaker 3: White Guy, that's funny, dude.
- 11:22Speaker 5: I don't know. Think about hockey with the goalie and
- 11:25Speaker 5: hockey would be cool. I don't know. I don't know what.
- 11:27Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 11:28Speaker 3: I have no idea.
- 11:28Speaker 5: I never see his face and I get Nascar, don't
- 11:33Speaker 5: really care. What are there any other sports? It would
- 11:37Speaker 5: be fun.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Soccer, Oh yeah, but they have mess Okay, I'm just
- 11:41Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with in basketball, I would do White Guy.
- 11:44Speaker 3: That's a great one, dude. I'd watch that.
- 11:46Speaker 7: That is interesting because it has to be European or
- 11:50Speaker 7: any white guy, any white guy who's.
- 11:51Speaker 1: The ball, dude who wears the head band. He's playing
- 11:54Speaker 1: with the Lakers. Now he's with Caruso.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Netflix this new series on the NBA. It's Netflix White Guy,
- 12:01Speaker 2: and they follow five white guys and Jason Williams produces
- 12:04Speaker 2: it and their struggle just to keep up, Like that's what.
- 12:12Speaker 5: You get the white people saw, you know.
- 12:14Speaker 2: I would watch like Austin Reeves, I was Australia, was
- 12:17Speaker 2: talking to JJ Redick, on his podcast and J. J.
- 12:21Speaker 5: Redick was like, so, well, you know, what was the deal?
- 12:24Speaker 2: Like, you're a white DUDEH goes yeah, I know, like
- 12:26Speaker 2: everybody like at the beginning was like, I want to
- 12:27Speaker 2: guard him.
- 12:28Speaker 5: Like everywhere I went.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Yeah, the easy one.
- 12:30Speaker 5: Yeah, well I'll guard the white guy.
- 12:32Speaker 2: There's also like Larry Bird that in some of the
- 12:35Speaker 2: videos of Larry Bird, he would get offended when they
- 12:38Speaker 2: would put a white guy on him, and he would
- 12:39Speaker 2: say that to the other team, You're like, you're gonna
- 12:41Speaker 2: put a white guy on me?
- 12:42Speaker 5: Are you serious? Right now?
- 12:43Speaker 3: That's crazy?
- 12:43Speaker 2: And then he would dominate him and they'd have to
- 12:45Speaker 2: switch off and get a white guy off of them,
- 12:46Speaker 2: which is hilarious.
- 12:48Speaker 5: By the way, open the mail.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Yesterday, random package came into scissors, got the trimm wasn't
- 12:55Speaker 2: from like a break or and I pulled out a
- 12:58Speaker 2: signed Larry Bird jersey who sent that a guy later
- 13:03Speaker 2: no wish, but a guy named Phil Becker who did
- 13:06Speaker 2: my podcast and thought it was so funny Eddie signed
- 13:08Speaker 2: my ball that he sent me a Larry Bird signed
- 13:10Speaker 2: Boston Boston Celtics.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Wow, funny, that's awesome. Yeah, it's funny.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Yeah, So I mean I wore to play ball on yesterday,
- 13:17Speaker 2: like pick up?
- 13:19Speaker 5: No, why that's a tittle tattle? Are you going to
- 13:24Speaker 5: put his name? The tittle tattle?
- 13:30Speaker 2: Twenty five whistles presented by Draft Kings sports book and
- 13:32Speaker 2: official sports.
- 13:33Speaker 5: Betting partner of the NFL. Download.
- 13:35Speaker 2: The DraftKings app used code Bobby sports to get in
- 13:39Speaker 2: on the action. What I'm going to do here is
- 13:41Speaker 2: I'm going to tell you away. And you can't guarantee
- 13:46Speaker 2: smiles in life. You can't guarantee smiles. What I'm going
- 13:49Speaker 2: to do now, I feel pretty strongly about these smiles
- 13:53Speaker 2: because I have already loaded up on these smiles. I'm
- 13:57Speaker 2: gonna give you what I've loaded my sp my smiles
- 13:59Speaker 2: up on.
- 13:59Speaker 5: It is parlay. You know, I should just do the
- 14:03Speaker 5: Friday games in case people don't get this in time.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Yeah, Friday, Is that what we're gonna do? Yep, Okay,
- 14:09Speaker 2: I need to scroll down. Then, all right, the Friday
- 14:12Speaker 2: games ready, ready, because I know what they are already
- 14:16Speaker 2: and they're in the last came on Thursday.
- 14:18Speaker 5: Then they play at nine ten pm. Oh yeah, they

- 14:33Speaker 3: Forty because they're nervous.
- 14:35Speaker 5: Everybody at the beginning of the game. They're a little tight.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Got the Auburn and Yale under one forty, Florida and
- 14:42Speaker 2: Colorado under one fifty eight point five at Texas A
- 14:47Speaker 2: and m Nebraska under one forty seven.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Under under under.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Hey, smile away, let's go. It won't be the same
- 14:59Speaker 2: next week because remember, like, oh cool, we're in the tournament. Relaxed, relax,
- 15:03Speaker 2: getting the relaxing backs at the end of the game.

- 15:22Speaker 2: seven three six nine. Okay, now we're gonna get over
- 15:27Speaker 2: to Logan Ryan. We went to his house to interview him.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Best dude ever awesome. If SpongeBob were singing about him.
- 15:34Speaker 2: He'd say he's the best.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Hey, and shout out to Kevin for not freaking out
- 15:40Speaker 1: too much. I would thought Kevin would have been real
- 15:42Speaker 1: fan early around him, but he wasn't.
- 15:43Speaker 2: He had been a little like some more in the ring.
- 15:46Speaker 2: He put both of him on and took a picture.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Heck, yeah, I just put one.
- 15:48Speaker 2: I was like, oh cool, and Kevin got him both
- 15:50Speaker 2: on and took the picture. Super Bowl rings. We flew
- 15:53Speaker 2: out to his house in Tampa.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Uh.
- 15:54Speaker 2: He signed to four nine ers late last season, ended
- 15:56Speaker 2: up playing and starting and you know, being a part
- 15:59Speaker 2: of the Super Bowl. He's won two Super Bowls with
- 16:02Speaker 2: the Patriots. You can follow Logan on Instagram at Logan
- 16:05Speaker 2: Ryan Here he is, So where at your house? But
- 16:10Speaker 2: it's a lot more than a house. It's like a
- 16:11Speaker 2: whole training facility here.
- 16:12Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Like we pulled up and there was your football field.
- 16:15Speaker 5: Is how long?
- 16:15Speaker 8: Was it thirty yards? Forty yards? No, it's I think
- 16:18Speaker 8: it's close to fifty.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Yeah, So on a fifty yard field you train here
- 16:22Speaker 2: at the house on that on that field.
- 16:24Speaker 4: Yeah, pretty regularly. I'm not sprinting one hundred yards every
- 16:28Speaker 4: route most of the time in the game, you know,
- 16:30Speaker 4: we're covering forty yards, thirty yards, twenty yards, a lot
- 16:33Speaker 4: of short area stuff.
- 16:34Speaker 8: So that's exactly what I need.
- 16:36Speaker 2: There's a pickleball court right next to it, and we're
- 16:38Speaker 2: building one in our backyard too. But my wife was like,
- 16:41Speaker 2: oh really we have a pickleball court. Did your wife
- 16:43Speaker 2: give you a hard time by a pickleball court? And
- 16:46Speaker 2: all the time, my wife was all about it. She's
- 16:48Speaker 2: a pickupball player with me. Yeah, we dominate the thirty
- 16:51Speaker 2: and up bracket co ed league. You and I'm thirty three,
- 16:54Speaker 2: so we just turned thirty three.
- 16:55Speaker 8: So we qualify.
- 16:56Speaker 4: I don't care what anyone says, you know, that's I
- 16:58Speaker 4: play my age. And so now my wife's all about it.
- 17:01Speaker 4: She's a former Division one athlete a softball player, so
- 17:03Speaker 4: she's a competitive as me.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Yeah, my wife is a great athlete too, but she
- 17:07Speaker 2: just doesn't want to hear the knocking all the time
- 17:10Speaker 2: because you know, I'm gonna buy one of those machines
- 17:11Speaker 2: as soon as it's done.
- 17:12Speaker 8: Oh yeah, you're gonna get your sirt for sure.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna be returning, like returning with that thing.
- 17:17Speaker 2: So yeah, pickleball is a lot of fun. I'm my
- 17:19Speaker 2: owner of one of the MLB pickleball teams, Like I
- 17:21Speaker 2: have part ownership in one of the teams, and I
- 17:23Speaker 2: guess blowing up, like would you be one of those
- 17:25Speaker 2: athletes that because we were playing Matt Holliday who played
- 17:28Speaker 2: in the major leagues for a long time, and he's
- 17:30Speaker 2: he's like touring playing pickleball. Would you get you and
- 17:33Speaker 2: your wife go play in any of these these pickleball tournaments?
- 17:35Speaker 8: I think so, I mean, I love the sport.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Could you get good enough?
- 17:39Speaker 8: I think the team, yeah, I think we could.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Like, well, I bought this house in twenty twenty and
- 17:44Speaker 4: we were getting a lot of it renovated. We had
- 17:46Speaker 4: these South African contractors and it kept selling. Mate, you
- 17:49Speaker 4: gotta compleaty pickleball, you gotta complete I'm like, what is pickleball?
- 17:52Speaker 4: I thought it was like squash or something. I'm like,
- 17:53Speaker 4: I don't even know what that is. So anyway, they
- 17:55Speaker 4: take me out there, they run me for like, they
- 17:58Speaker 4: beat me twain and nothing.
- 17:59Speaker 8: But they're teaching me pickleball.
- 18:01Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, just like ping pong on your feet,
- 18:02Speaker 4: just like this. And I started playing with them weekly
- 18:05Speaker 4: and those guys are really good and I'm like, in
- 18:06Speaker 4: a year, I'm gonna better than you or whatever. And
- 18:08Speaker 4: I don't know where I'm at now compared to them.
- 18:10Speaker 4: They probably play four days a week. But I realized
- 18:13Speaker 4: post COVID as we were playing, like the courts were
- 18:15Speaker 4: filling up. Then I'm showing up and I gotta wait
- 18:17Speaker 4: twenty minutes to play, and there's lines and it's like
- 18:20Speaker 4: the old like black top days where you had to
- 18:22Speaker 4: you know, win and stay on court.
- 18:23Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:24Speaker 8: So I'm like, man, I'm building my own.
- 18:26Speaker 4: So I went to go do a full court basketball
- 18:29Speaker 4: court and try to do like a half pickleball half
- 18:31Speaker 4: basketball thing. And like the price of concrete was like
- 18:33Speaker 4: ridiculous at the time, So I was.
- 18:35Speaker 8: Like, we're just gonna build a pickball court.
- 18:37Speaker 5: The price of conquer? Have you looked around to see
- 18:38Speaker 5: what else you have here?
- 18:39Speaker 2: Like you're worried about the Yeah, today he's got a
- 18:42Speaker 2: TV bigger at my house.
- 18:44Speaker 8: I always try to get a good deal. Oh, never
- 18:45Speaker 8: overplaying for nothing.
- 18:47Speaker 2: How physically, how you feeling after this last season?
- 18:49Speaker 8: Man? I feel great.
- 18:50Speaker 2: You know.
- 18:50Speaker 4: It helps only playing half a year instead of a
- 18:52Speaker 4: full year. I came in there kind of fresh for
- 18:54Speaker 4: the most important stretch of the year, Thanksgiving football, and
- 18:57Speaker 4: it was really good, man, it was really fun playing
- 18:59Speaker 4: with those boys.
- 19:00Speaker 8: Organizations great, Shanahan's great.
- 19:02Speaker 4: So I got nothing but positive things to say, especially
- 19:04Speaker 4: about the fan base too.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Whenever you don't play for the first half of the
- 19:07Speaker 2: year and they call and say, hey, come play, do
- 19:09Speaker 2: you have to cram like to get back in shape
- 19:12Speaker 2: and at the same time mentally to learn exactly what
- 19:15Speaker 2: they're doing, because one is as important as the other.
- 19:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it's both. I've never done that before,
- 19:20Speaker 4: so to me, I just was learning on the fly.
- 19:22Speaker 4: I definitely got to do a lot of cramming to
- 19:23Speaker 4: get in shape just so I didn't get hurt. So
- 19:26Speaker 4: I was running a lot of miles, putting a lot
- 19:28Speaker 4: of stuff on my body just so it can handle
- 19:30Speaker 4: handle that. And then mentally, that's always been a strong
- 19:32Speaker 4: suit of my game. So I always learn everything from
- 19:35Speaker 4: every position the secondary. I study at corner, then I
- 19:38Speaker 4: study at safety, And even though I'm saying, oh, you're
- 19:40Speaker 4: only going to play safety, I ended up starting at
- 19:42Speaker 4: nickel in the Super Bowl. And I haven't practiced that,
- 19:45Speaker 4: haven't played it in three years and didn't practice it
- 19:47Speaker 4: since I was there, So I started practicing the week
- 19:49Speaker 4: before Super Bowl, but I was studied for the position,
- 19:51Speaker 4: So when he told me that, I almost was like prepared,
- 19:53Speaker 4: Like all, I at least know what to do now,
- 19:55Speaker 4: I just got to practice doing that. And if you
- 19:56Speaker 4: don't know what to do, for any young football player
- 19:59Speaker 4: or athlete, if you don't know what to do, you
- 20:00Speaker 4: can't do it at a high level.
- 20:02Speaker 8: You can't play fast.
- 20:03Speaker 4: As a matter how fast you run your forty, you're
- 20:05Speaker 4: gonna be kind of tiptunk. You don't necessarily know you
- 20:07Speaker 4: have confidence in what you're doing out there.
- 20:08Speaker 2: How would you explain to Nickel and tell me if
- 20:11Speaker 2: my understanding of it is wrong? But I would say
- 20:14Speaker 2: Nickel is like a defensive back but also playing linebacker
- 20:17Speaker 2: because you've got it, you're watching.
- 20:19Speaker 5: For the past.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Basically, that could be a bad explanation.
- 20:21Speaker 8: What is yours?
- 20:21Speaker 1: Did you get that from Metten?
- 20:23Speaker 2: Oh?
- 20:23Speaker 8: Basically? Yeah?
- 20:23Speaker 2: When I go on Nickel package, my best defensive backtor
- 20:26Speaker 2: playing linebacker basically so I can shut down the crossing round.
- 20:29Speaker 4: Yeah, I agree. I think Nichol is a very cerebral
- 20:32Speaker 4: position in terms you have to do a little bit
- 20:34Speaker 4: of everything. You have to be tied into the run
- 20:36Speaker 4: game because you're a linebacker. If they run the ball,
- 20:39Speaker 4: if they pass the ball, you have to cover somewhat
- 20:42Speaker 4: like a corner, but you're not as much on an island.
- 20:43Speaker 4: You have some more help around you, and then you
- 20:45Speaker 4: might have to cover some bigger receivers or tight end bodies,
- 20:48Speaker 4: depending what you match your personnel up with. So you
- 20:50Speaker 4: have to be strong enough to cover a kidd or kelsey.
- 20:53Speaker 4: You have to be strong enough to play in the
- 20:55Speaker 4: run game. Oh but by the way, like Keenan Allen
- 20:58Speaker 4: and Justin Jefferson, they're putting these guys in the slot
- 21:01Speaker 4: every play, so you have to cover the top receivers
- 21:03Speaker 4: at times. You have to cover big tight ends. You
- 21:05Speaker 4: also be able to play in the run, so you
- 21:06Speaker 4: have to be a very cerebral position.
- 21:07Speaker 8: You have help.
- 21:08Speaker 4: You have more help around you than a perimeter corner does,
- 21:11Speaker 4: but you got to know how to use your help.
- 21:13Speaker 4: I picture that you get an email with a PDF
- 21:15Speaker 4: that goes, this is what we're doing defensively, like a
- 21:17Speaker 4: play defensive playbook? Yeah, or do they actually mail you
- 21:19Speaker 4: a big fat book of nineteen seventy four playbook?
- 21:23Speaker 2: Like how does that work?
- 21:23Speaker 8: In twenty thirteen.
- 21:24Speaker 4: When I got to the New England Patriots, they give
- 21:26Speaker 4: us a big old playbook like that, like an encyclopedia,
- 21:29Speaker 4: six hundred pages of actual paper, of actual paper, go
- 21:32Speaker 4: to section cover three, paynaires and guys had highlighters and
- 21:38Speaker 4: you know, tension SPAN's not there anymore for that, and
- 21:40Speaker 4: they're like, oh, if you lose that, it's like a
- 21:42Speaker 4: five thousand dollars fine case.
- 21:43Speaker 8: That's our playbook.
- 21:44Speaker 4: So you have to carry that thing in a backpack.
- 21:46Speaker 4: Oh I left in my hotel. I mean it was
- 21:47Speaker 4: like pressure to have that thing on you at all times.
- 21:50Speaker 4: So now we have iPads. Everything's on the iPad so
- 21:53Speaker 4: it'll show you the play. Then I have an actual
- 21:55Speaker 4: highlight clip of what the play looks like, because it's
- 21:57Speaker 4: just lines on paper. And then like the players and
- 22:00Speaker 4: the coach of the artists to make those lines look
- 22:03Speaker 4: like that. So like a play might say, I have
- 22:06Speaker 4: this guy inside leverage, I covered this guy. Cool, you
- 22:12Speaker 4: have him unless the running back does a swing route.
- 22:14Speaker 8: Now you don't have him. Now you have the running back. Cool.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Now if the running back does a swing route, your
- 22:18Speaker 4: guy goes inside. You have the No more receiver comes inside.
- 22:20Speaker 4: So it's like, Okay, it started really simple, but there's
- 22:23Speaker 4: also like different.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Don't feel like defensive checkdowns, they're all checkdowns.
- 22:27Speaker 4: Yeah, every play in the NFL is like receivers don't have,
- 22:30Speaker 4: Like on good offenses, they don't have normal routes they
- 22:33Speaker 4: have They have a comeback route, right, a fifteen yard
- 22:36Speaker 4: stop unless it's press coverage, and it's a fade unless
- 22:40Speaker 4: Aaron Rodgers likes his back shoulder fade at eighteen yards,
- 22:42Speaker 4: unless Tom Brady likes that fade at twenty two yards, right,
- 22:44Speaker 4: unless he's ten yards off.
- 22:45Speaker 8: Now it's a five yard hitch.
- 22:47Speaker 4: So that same route that he's given can turn into
- 22:49Speaker 4: six different routes based on the quarterback and the coverage.
- 22:52Speaker 8: Wow.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Hey, so I have a ten year old he started
- 22:54Speaker 1: playing tackle football and first year they stuck him at
- 22:57Speaker 1: corner like didn't really know the position, and they're couple
- 23:00Speaker 1: of games where he just blew the coverage and they
- 23:02Speaker 1: scored on.
- 23:03Speaker 3: Him and he was down the whole day.
- 23:04Speaker 1: And I told him, man, cornerback's probably the hardest position.
- 23:08Speaker 3: On the field in football. But I was just talking.
- 23:11Speaker 3: I know what I's talking about. I was just trying
- 23:12Speaker 3: to make him feel better.
- 23:13Speaker 8: Is that true though? I think so.
- 23:15Speaker 4: I think what you're dealing with nowadays, especially with social media,
- 23:17Speaker 4: it's like it's so easy to see your mistakes.
- 23:19Speaker 8: Like I can cover a guy.
- 23:20Speaker 4: Your son can cover a guy every single play and
- 23:23Speaker 4: do great, and then one play he blanks out, he trips,
- 23:26Speaker 4: he misjudges the ball in the air and it's a
- 23:28Speaker 4: six yard touchdown. Everyone's like, haha, you lost the game. Haha,
- 23:31Speaker 4: you stink because people don't know who to blame. There's
- 23:33Speaker 4: not enough knowledge and the camera doesn't see what the
- 23:35Speaker 4: all low linemen are doing or d linemen are doing.
- 23:37Speaker 4: So tackle, quarterback, and corner are the most easy exposed
- 23:41Speaker 4: positions for sure. So you have to have a different mindset,
- 23:44Speaker 4: kind of don't care mindset, a little bit ef fit mentality,
- 23:49Speaker 4: and you kind of got to play really smart also
- 23:51Speaker 4: to protect yourself from those moments.
- 23:52Speaker 8: And you got to be.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Able to focus atout the whole game because a little
- 23:55Speaker 4: laps like that a guy and get a step on you.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Knowing what you know now, if you could go back
- 23:59Speaker 2: at twelve years old, what position would you play again?
- 24:02Speaker 2: Would it be the same or would you play somewhere else?
- 24:05Speaker 4: Man, I'm really happy with you know, there's actually two
- 24:09Speaker 4: couple answers to that.
- 24:10Speaker 3: One.
- 24:10Speaker 4: I would play quarterback because that's where the money's at.
- 24:13Speaker 4: And I was a quarterback growing up, So they put
- 24:16Speaker 4: the ball in my hands and I was.
- 24:17Speaker 8: Just spread option.
- 24:19Speaker 4: You know these quarterbacks you see nowadays, but back in
- 24:22Speaker 4: the day, when you're six foot coming out of quarterback,
- 24:25Speaker 4: that's way too small. You're not a traditional quarterback. Now,
- 24:28Speaker 4: Kyler Murray's about five to nine. So like the times,
- 24:31Speaker 4: they've caught up, but a lot of us played quarterback.
- 24:33Speaker 4: They took the ball out of our hands because they said, oh,
- 24:35Speaker 4: you're a young black kid, you're not gonna be a quarterback.
- 24:37Speaker 8: In the NFL.
- 24:37Speaker 4: Who's in the NFL looks like you. So now I
- 24:40Speaker 4: think there's so much representation of that. So I think
- 24:42Speaker 4: that's that's way better. But also when I was little,
- 24:45Speaker 4: starting at eight years old, my dad maybe play a
- 24:48Speaker 4: different position every year. So I started off like you're
- 24:50Speaker 4: gonna be a tight end, You're gonna catch the ball,
- 24:52Speaker 4: Like we ran the ball every play.
- 24:53Speaker 8: I blocked every play.
- 24:54Speaker 4: Then they're like, oh, this kids pretty good one to
- 24:55Speaker 4: play my running back. So I played running back and
- 24:57Speaker 4: then I played quarterback. Eventually, and then when we would
- 25:00Speaker 4: blow teams out, my dad put me on the offensive
- 25:02Speaker 4: line and let someone else play quarterback, so I learned
- 25:04Speaker 4: how to block. You played offensive line, and when we
- 25:06Speaker 4: were little, thirty five or not, when we're up thirty
- 25:08Speaker 4: five or more, all our skill players went to o
- 25:10Speaker 4: line the line and going to running back. The backup
- 25:12Speaker 4: quarterback came in the hand and the ball let them
- 25:14Speaker 4: touch it, so we all got to play. And then
- 25:16Speaker 4: on defense, I was a quarterback co ass who played defense.
- 25:18Speaker 4: I never played one side. I played safety, I played linebacker,
- 25:21Speaker 4: I played d N, I played corner. So when I
- 25:23Speaker 4: got to college and I wasn't playing both sides of
- 25:25Speaker 4: the ball, I didn't.
- 25:25Speaker 8: Know what to do with myself. I'm like, I get
- 25:27Speaker 8: to come off the field, like I don't even like,
- 25:28Speaker 8: let me go play.
- 25:29Speaker 4: Special teams, right even know? So now I think in
- 25:33Speaker 4: the NFL that's helped me play a lot of different positions.
- 25:35Speaker 4: I've played special teams. I've played safe, free safety, I've
- 25:38Speaker 4: played strong safety, I played nickel, I played corner. CUM
- 25:41Speaker 4: used to playing so many positions when I was little.
- 25:42Speaker 4: I learned a game from different perspectives.
- 25:44Speaker 2: When you go into the locker room of a team
- 25:46Speaker 2: that's already winning this last season. You do coming halfway
- 25:48Speaker 2: through the year. They have their culture already mostly defined.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Did they need what you do or did they need
- 25:55Speaker 2: who you are?
- 25:57Speaker 8: They needed?
- 26:00Speaker 5: Like why do they call you?
- 26:01Speaker 4: They yeah, they called me because they were trying to
- 26:03Speaker 4: win a championship. And they told me they wanted a
- 26:05Speaker 4: guy who's done it before. And they didn't want to
- 26:07Speaker 4: mess around and check the practice squads. They didn't want
- 26:09Speaker 4: to mess around with an inexperienced guy. They knew what
- 26:11Speaker 4: they had. They wanted someone to go in there, had
- 26:13Speaker 4: the confidence to come off the street and go in
- 26:16Speaker 4: there and not mess it up. But I also have
- 26:17Speaker 4: the belief in their ability. And when I stepped in
- 26:19Speaker 4: the first day, I said, guys, like, I don't have
- 26:23Speaker 4: to be here, with all due respect, Like I've made
- 26:24Speaker 4: good money in my career, I've done everything I want
- 26:26Speaker 4: to do. I have beautiful wife and kids all the way.
- 26:28Speaker 4: But I came across the country to help win a
- 26:29Speaker 4: Super Bowl, period. And they were on the same page
- 26:32Speaker 4: about that, like we're not here to go to the
- 26:34Speaker 4: conference championship, We're not here to win a division, Like
- 26:36Speaker 4: we're here to win the super Bowl and like we
- 26:37Speaker 4: made it as far as we could, we didn't win it,
- 26:39Speaker 4: but they knew. That's what I stepped in to do.
- 26:41Speaker 4: They I didn't come in to hold the clipboard or
- 26:44Speaker 4: to like help the younger guys. I came in to
- 26:46Speaker 4: help develop everyone to win a championship. That means playing
- 26:49Speaker 4: a lot, playing a little. I didn't care. I wanted
- 26:51Speaker 4: to do my part and it ended up having a
- 26:53Speaker 4: big part, and I was really honored about that. But
- 26:55Speaker 4: they have everything there, like walking in that was one
- 26:59Speaker 4: of the most top two talented best culture teams I've
- 27:02Speaker 4: been on. I've been on two other super Bowl teams,
- 27:04Speaker 4: so that's compared to one other Patriots team. That was
- 27:06Speaker 4: the top two team I've ever stepped the building in.
- 27:09Speaker 4: So I think you know, the future.
- 27:10Speaker 8: Is right there.
- 27:11Speaker 2: The analogy that I'll make in UH celebrity culture is
- 27:15Speaker 2: usually the more famous the celebrity is, the nicer they
- 27:18Speaker 2: are because they're not they're they're secure. Like the major stars,
- 27:22Speaker 2: the massive stars could be it music, acting, they're very secure.
- 27:26Speaker 5: They know who they are. They don't have to impress anybody.
- 27:28Speaker 2: It's what I would call the soap opera stars or
- 27:31Speaker 2: they have to like prove who they are really and
- 27:33Speaker 2: like they're not that cool because they're a bit insecure
- 27:35Speaker 2: because they want to get to that next stage. Oh yeah,
- 27:37Speaker 2: Like when you walk into a locker room, I feel
- 27:38Speaker 2: like that's the ultimate celebrity. Like they're secure already and
- 27:41Speaker 2: they don't have to treat you a way to make
- 27:43Speaker 2: to show you that, well, you're coming into our place now.
- 27:46Speaker 2: The forty nine ers feel like they're the major celebrity
- 27:49Speaker 2: and that they know who they are and they're secure
- 27:51Speaker 2: about it. Is that how I felt.
- 27:52Speaker 8: That's how I fun.
- 27:53Speaker 4: That's a great I never even thought of it like that,
- 27:55Speaker 4: because that's how I always, you know, tell the Tom
- 27:57Speaker 4: Brady story. When I met Tom Brady, he was like
- 27:59Speaker 4: the nicest, chill this dude, and like I didn't even
- 28:01Speaker 4: know what to say to him, and he introduced himself
- 28:03Speaker 4: to me. I'm like, mom, dad, Like, this dude was
- 28:04Speaker 4: so humble. I'd never because he's such a star and
- 28:07Speaker 4: he I think he's very secure and they're very much
- 28:10Speaker 4: like that. I think Shanahan has an environment where he
- 28:13Speaker 4: lets Bosa be Bosa, he lets McCaffrey be McCaffrey, Purdy.
- 28:18Speaker 4: You know, isn't the most vocal guy and he but
- 28:20Speaker 4: people know he's a leader on the team. And when
- 28:22Speaker 4: I came in on a Tuesday, which is our off
- 28:24Speaker 4: day in our world, and handful of God's being there
- 28:26Speaker 4: getting treatment, handful of gods might get an extra lifting.
- 28:29Speaker 4: I'm talking about seventy five percent of the team was
- 28:31Speaker 4: in there gett an extra lifting, like Bosa Fred Warner.
- 28:34Speaker 4: These dudes lift like four or five days a week.
- 28:36Speaker 4: We only have to lift twice. And I'm like, this
- 28:38Speaker 4: is the team. Like these guys are in here on
- 28:40Speaker 4: their Tuesday when that's their one day out of the building,
- 28:42Speaker 4: and they're all in here grind together, and it's week fourteen.
- 28:46Speaker 4: When your body's run down, tired, all you want to
- 28:48Speaker 4: do is get a little break. I was like, Yeah,
- 28:50Speaker 4: these guys are the other guys I like to be
- 28:52Speaker 4: around because that's how I'm wired.
- 28:53Speaker 5: And they welcomed you in.
- 28:54Speaker 8: Yeah, no doubt.
- 28:55Speaker 4: Most of them played against me, so there's earned respect there.
- 28:57Speaker 4: I didn't have a lot of guys I played with there,
- 28:59Speaker 4: so that was kind of I was kind of an outsider.
- 29:01Speaker 4: But I think after like a practice or too, you know,
- 29:03Speaker 4: I kind of went out there like practicing against the offense,
- 29:06Speaker 4: covering Kittle, uh, covering Christian making some guys fumble.
- 29:11Speaker 8: With a peanut punch. They're like, oh, yeah, he can play.
- 29:13Speaker 4: Like like, so I was off of that after a week.
- 29:16Speaker 4: Then I started practicing our defense. They're like, yeah, he's
- 29:18Speaker 4: got it, and you know, it ended up being a
- 29:21Speaker 4: good time.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Love And you mentioned Tom Brady, but when you played
- 29:23Speaker 1: for the Titans, you picked him off.
- 29:26Speaker 8: Yeah, like that was awesome.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Yeah, when you caught that ball, what did it feel like,
- 29:31Speaker 1: was a little spongy or was it fully aired?
- 29:34Speaker 8: Yeah, you know it was. It was a tie game
- 29:37Speaker 8: and we were up.
- 29:38Speaker 4: We just went up, but like I don't know, like
- 29:40Speaker 4: a lesson a touchdown, and you know there's like less
- 29:44Speaker 4: than a minute left or whatever. It's like Brady has
- 29:46Speaker 4: one last you know Brady, Like there's rumors just probably
- 29:49Speaker 4: his last run with his type with the Patriots, and
- 29:51Speaker 4: it's like, okay, shoot, I'm like I'm not saying I'm scared,
- 29:55Speaker 4: but I'm like, here we go again, like one more stop.
- 29:58Speaker 4: You know, you got to get one more against this guy.
- 30:00Speaker 4: And you've seen it so much go the other way
- 30:02Speaker 4: so many times, and like one of the first few
- 30:05Speaker 4: plays in the drive, we're playing like this prevent prevent
- 30:07Speaker 4: type defense and throws it to mohameds and Knew, who
- 30:11Speaker 4: was my college roommate, and our one of our DB's
- 30:13Speaker 4: tips it up and I kind of just have it
- 30:16Speaker 4: perfect and kind of went right to me and I
- 30:19Speaker 4: end up scoring with it, and I just look back
- 30:22Speaker 4: at the highlight and Mike Vrabel's like, slide, slide, the
- 30:26Speaker 4: game is going to be over, and he's like mad
- 30:28Speaker 4: at me for getting a pick six on Brady with
- 30:30Speaker 4: like five seconds left in the game, because there's that
- 30:32Speaker 4: fear like we gave Brady five more seconds. Now he's
- 30:34Speaker 4: going to score a touchdown and go for two and
- 30:36Speaker 4: come back and find it. So it was like I
- 30:38Speaker 4: don't even know if he was happy, but now it
- 30:40Speaker 4: felt it felt so great, kind of a out of
- 30:44Speaker 4: the body experience type thing and help us, you know,
- 30:46Speaker 4: move on and history repeats itself. And I mean, he
- 30:49Speaker 4: goes to Tampa the next ye when when's the Super Bowl?
- 30:51Speaker 4: So I think Brady would thank me for that one.
- 30:52Speaker 2: So this is if if they made sports cards now
- 30:56Speaker 2: of like a rookie sports card, if somebody getting in media,
- 30:58Speaker 2: I'd buy yours. Because you took a question that he
- 31:01Speaker 2: was like, is the bowl squeezy? And and you shifted
- 31:04Speaker 2: it and turned into a different compelling story. I know
- 31:08Speaker 2: it didn't even feel like you were running from his
- 31:10Speaker 2: dumb question. I felt like, you, Oh, that's an interesting story.
- 31:12Speaker 2: We forgot that I would buy your rookie card, your
- 31:15Speaker 2: immediate rookie card.
- 31:16Speaker 8: You've got a future that right there. I appreciate it.
- 31:18Speaker 8: You're going to Hollywood. There, we got an idol by now.
- 31:21Speaker 2: I was I was watching Pat Bev, who's one of
- 31:23Speaker 2: my favorite athletes right now, playing with the Bucks. I
- 31:26Speaker 2: was watching Pat Bev talk about going when he got
- 31:28Speaker 2: called to the Bucks and he's like, yeah, you know,
- 31:30Speaker 2: I've had a beef with Dame, but I got to
- 31:32Speaker 2: call him and fix that before we start playing. When
- 31:36Speaker 2: you switch teams, has there been anybody that and I'm
- 31:38Speaker 2: not even asking who it is, but where you got
- 31:40Speaker 2: to like call him and be like, yoh, I know
- 31:41Speaker 2: we haven't been good before, but now I'm coming on over.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Let's let's be cool. Or football not as intimate as
- 31:46Speaker 2: basketball because there's likely five guys on the court at once.
- 31:48Speaker 8: Again, Yeah, I don't know if it's as intimate.
- 31:49Speaker 4: I don't know if there's real beefs like that, Like
- 31:51Speaker 4: there's some, but I don't.
- 31:54Speaker 8: Think it's real beefs. Man.
- 31:55Speaker 4: We have so much turnover in football, Like if I
- 31:57Speaker 4: go to any team, like there's a coach that I
- 32:00Speaker 4: played with, like that's coaching the team, or there's a
- 32:04Speaker 4: there's like four players that I played with or like,
- 32:07Speaker 4: so there's so many guys that I know, and even
- 32:09Speaker 4: the guys that I've covered, it was all competitively and
- 32:11Speaker 4: like I like people know who I am, Like I'm
- 32:13Speaker 4: secure and who I am. So I never really went
- 32:16Speaker 4: out the way where I have a lot of that
- 32:17Speaker 4: kind of trolling going on the field. There's a guy
- 32:19Speaker 4: that's really dirty or whatever like that, like that was
- 32:21Speaker 4: handled in the game. Like if someone's not like in football,
- 32:25Speaker 4: you can hit people. So if someone's like doing some
- 32:27Speaker 4: stuff that I don't like, like I'm able to finish
- 32:29Speaker 4: that at that game. So it's it doesn't even bleed
- 32:31Speaker 4: into the parking lot. There hasn't happened yet.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Do you feel like with technology advancing so far, we
- 32:37Speaker 2: can see every position, every play, do you feel like
- 32:39Speaker 2: the game is a little less dirty because people know
- 32:42Speaker 2: that you can see everything.
- 32:43Speaker 8: They're doing now, I think the fines are so ridiculous.
- 32:45Speaker 2: You think that's what it is.
- 32:46Speaker 4: Yeah, Like I just saw a guy. You saw the
- 32:48Speaker 4: buzzer beater the other day in the NBA. Bam hit
- 32:51Speaker 4: a buzzer beater and the guy just punned the ball
- 32:53Speaker 4: in the crowd. Right, I've never seen a basketball get
- 32:55Speaker 4: punted in the crowd before they find him, like twenty
- 32:57Speaker 4: five k right, which is you know that would be
- 32:59Speaker 4: like one hundred thousand dollars. I mean if we throw
- 33:01Speaker 4: the ball in the crowd to like my wife, like
- 33:03Speaker 4: five thousand, Like every time we score a touchdown, just
- 33:06Speaker 4: toss the ball in the crowd five thousand.
- 33:08Speaker 8: Like why, I don't know. There's a bunch of footballs.
- 33:10Speaker 4: But like, the fines are so ridiculous, Like I never
- 33:14Speaker 4: thought about I'm a hit a guy one. I don't
- 33:16Speaker 4: like hitting the guys like taking her knees out, like
- 33:19Speaker 4: I don't believe in that.
- 33:20Speaker 8: And then you took away the whole helmet.
- 33:21Speaker 4: To helmet, whole shoulder area, hitting of defenceless receivers. Right,
- 33:25Speaker 4: It's like where can you hit a guy like just
- 33:27Speaker 4: here and here where he's most dense and you're gonna
- 33:29Speaker 4: take the worst end of that blow. So I'd rather
- 33:31Speaker 4: take that and do that than like end a guy's
- 33:33Speaker 4: career and be dirty. So I literally in mindful when
- 33:36Speaker 4: I'm out there, like, Yo, I'm just not trying to
- 33:38Speaker 4: lose money today too, Like I could tackle guys, but like,
- 33:41Speaker 4: I'm not trying to lose forty grand hitting this guy
- 33:44Speaker 4: in his helmet. So it has changed how I've played
- 33:46Speaker 4: because the fines are so ridiculous.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Final three questions.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Yeah, So in twenty sixteen, you guys in the Super
- 33:53Speaker 1: Bowl with the Falcons, and I mean everyone thinks that
- 33:56Speaker 1: it's over at the half, Like is this just out
- 33:58Speaker 1: of control? What happened in that locker room? That just
- 34:02Speaker 1: changed that entire game?
- 34:04Speaker 4: Spoiler alert, Yeah, man, I wish I had I had
- 34:09Speaker 4: one for you on that question. Nothing man, it was
- 34:11Speaker 4: like I remember Brady had his head down and it
- 34:14Speaker 4: was like we kind of played any worse. And it's
- 34:17Speaker 4: kind of like this game we had with Sam Fran
- 34:19Speaker 4: the Lions is just postseason. We had the biggest comeback
- 34:21Speaker 4: in NFC championship history, like twenty points or whatever, and
- 34:24Speaker 4: nothing was really said and we kind of went out
- 34:27Speaker 4: there like bro, we can't play any worse. So we
- 34:29Speaker 4: moms go out there and kind of let it lose
- 34:30Speaker 4: and kind of just go and like we're just in
- 34:32Speaker 4: aggressive mode, Like we're aggressive.
- 34:34Speaker 8: They're throwing the ball every play.
- 34:35Speaker 4: Defensively, we're calling way way more of an aggressive comeback
- 34:38Speaker 4: kind of playing like with care free kind of and
- 34:41Speaker 4: I think the other team gets tense. I think the
- 34:43Speaker 4: other team starts clockwashing. I think they start kind of
- 34:46Speaker 4: doing that end of a high school basketball game.
- 34:48Speaker 8: We're just swinging around. They're not attacking, they're not run
- 34:50Speaker 8: their offense anymore. So I think it's almost more what
- 34:52Speaker 8: they do.
- 34:53Speaker 4: They're letting their pedal off, the foot off the pedal,
- 34:54Speaker 4: and we're kind of just like swinging and swinging and
- 34:57Speaker 4: swinging like nothing to lose. We're about to get knocked
- 34:59Speaker 4: out anyway. And I think the other team's mentalities really
- 35:02Speaker 4: will cause them to lose a game.
- 35:04Speaker 8: My teeth are all fake.
- 35:06Speaker 2: When I first started to make some money, I got
- 35:08Speaker 2: I got teeth if I bought my mom a place,
- 35:10Speaker 2: and I got teeth because I never went to the
- 35:12Speaker 2: dentist as a kid. So these are all fakes. So
- 35:14Speaker 2: when I see somebody with great teeth, which you have
- 35:16Speaker 2: great teeth.
- 35:17Speaker 1: And you have really nice teeth, man, and thank you guys.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Mine aren't real.
- 35:21Speaker 8: Yeah, mine aren't either.
- 35:21Speaker 2: They are, So when did you get them?
- 35:24Speaker 8: And why?
- 35:25Speaker 5: My motivation was, I want just want to look yeah normal.
- 35:29Speaker 4: My teeth were never bad. I always had pretty good teeth,
- 35:31Speaker 4: I thought. But I was wearing in visil line because
- 35:33Speaker 4: the NFL was giving like free and visil line out
- 35:35Speaker 4: the players, so I was wearing it, wearing it, wearing it.
- 35:37Speaker 4: Then I'll take them visial line off when I'll be done.
- 35:39Speaker 4: And my teeth would shift right back and shift right back.
- 35:41Speaker 4: And I knew one day, like I knew the value
- 35:44Speaker 4: of like an expensive smile, so or I knew the
- 35:47Speaker 4: value of a great, a great smile. So I was
- 35:49Speaker 4: like sending me buying jewelry and chains and watches, like
- 35:51Speaker 4: I'm just gonna invest in my teeth.
- 35:53Speaker 8: And so that's what I did.
- 35:54Speaker 4: I did that in Tennessee after I got a big
- 35:57Speaker 4: payday to go there, so probably a year five, year six,
- 36:00Speaker 4: I was like, man, I'm investing my teeth. And I
- 36:01Speaker 4: see all these guys wear all this jewelry and had
- 36:04Speaker 4: all these crazy watches and cars with their teeth, flip.
- 36:06Speaker 8: Tear, British jewelry, you should invest in your teeth.
- 36:09Speaker 4: And then they're like, well, I'm gonna go to Dominican
- 36:11Speaker 4: and I'm gonna get this, like these chicklets in my mouth.
- 36:13Speaker 4: And I'm like, bro, you're putting that in your body,
- 36:15Speaker 4: like you're gonna get infections. So like you want to
- 36:17Speaker 4: go cheap on your teeth, but you want to buy
- 36:19Speaker 4: a fifty thousand dollars a watch or a chain that
- 36:21Speaker 4: is going to appreciate in value.
- 36:22Speaker 8: It blows my mind. So I was like, now I'm
- 36:24Speaker 8: gonna put good stuff in my mouth.
- 36:25Speaker 5: Yeah, that's I did.
- 36:27Speaker 2: Like I was like, I'm gonna do something on camera.
- 36:31Speaker 2: So what's a better investment than once trying to stay
- 36:34Speaker 2: in shape into my teeth, but a plus A plus teeth.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Final question, what are you gonna do now? Like is
- 36:38Speaker 2: there a chance you would go back and play next season?
- 36:41Speaker 2: You know, build a medium pire eventually, Like what's what's
- 36:44Speaker 2: the deal?
- 36:45Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 36:45Speaker 4: I don't have that answer for you today. Like I
- 36:47Speaker 4: think everything's up in the air. I'm very happy with
- 36:49Speaker 4: my career. I'm happy with what I've done. I'm at
- 36:51Speaker 4: peace with it. If I never played again, I'm cool.
- 36:54Speaker 4: Like I said, I'm secure and who I am and
- 36:56Speaker 4: what I've done so that that windows close. I feel
- 37:00Speaker 4: like every year for me, and I'm cool with that.
- 37:02Speaker 4: I think the media and just talking about ball because
- 37:05Speaker 4: I have a you know, a lot of experience in
- 37:07Speaker 4: it and I'm a storyteller by nature. I think there's
- 37:09Speaker 4: always a future there, so I'm definitely interested in getting
- 37:13Speaker 4: that started sooner or later.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Final final question, I got you get all the free
- 37:17Speaker 2: merch that you want because in college you don't. We
- 37:19Speaker 2: go to a lot of even big Division I schools. Yeah,
- 37:22Speaker 2: depending on what school, they have different rules. But if
- 37:24Speaker 2: you're playing with the Patriots, the Titians, the forty nine ers,
- 37:27Speaker 2: and are they even different? Can you just request whatever
- 37:29Speaker 2: you want clothes wise.
- 37:30Speaker 4: Yeah, some teams are different. So back in the day,
- 37:34Speaker 4: when I say in the day, like when I first
- 37:36Speaker 4: got to the NFL, like I think it just transitioned
- 37:38Speaker 4: to Nike. So it was like Nike was paying guys
- 37:43Speaker 4: a lot of money, like to be a Nike athlete,
- 37:45Speaker 4: A lot of shoes, a lot of Jordan's, a lot
- 37:47Speaker 4: of this. Now Nike runs the NFL. They have a
- 37:49Speaker 4: check on every uniform, so like they don't. They don't
- 37:52Speaker 4: give that Nike merch out as much, you know. So
- 37:56Speaker 4: I think certain organizations, like a good organization like Newing
- 37:59Speaker 4: was giving me a lot of stuf off and like
- 38:01Speaker 4: San France gives away a lot of stuff. Some other
- 38:03Speaker 4: organizations a little more frugal with it. You gotta show.
- 38:06Speaker 4: You got to show some holes in your sock. You
- 38:07Speaker 4: get a new pair of stock, you have to buy it. Ever,
- 38:09Speaker 4: so your helmet and your jerseys from the year you
- 38:12Speaker 4: have to buy. So if you want to keep your
- 38:13Speaker 4: helmet after the year, it's like five hundred dollars.
- 38:15Speaker 1: That's like Papa Warner football dude, same thing.
- 38:17Speaker 8: Yeah, this show.
- 38:19Speaker 2: But I mean like let's say you want it like
- 38:22Speaker 2: in sweatsuit. Yeah, you get one, and then you got
- 38:25Speaker 2: it like in one a second one.
- 38:26Speaker 5: That's trouble.
- 38:27Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean it depends. Like I'll see some staffers
- 38:29Speaker 8: with some gear we don't have them, Like where'd you
- 38:31Speaker 8: guys get that?
- 38:33Speaker 4: And they're like, oh, this is just for the staff,
- 38:34Speaker 4: not for the players, because then everyone has to get it.
- 38:36Speaker 8: So I think there's some stuff allotted.
- 38:39Speaker 4: This all goes down in your seniority too, Like hey,
- 38:41Speaker 4: let me get another one like super Bowl, Like this
- 38:43Speaker 4: from a super Bowl, like, let me get another?
- 38:44Speaker 8: Like no, absolutely not, like we're just super Bowl stuff.
- 38:47Speaker 4: There's only one per player, like Nike's not given any
- 38:50Speaker 4: more anymore. So it it kind of gets there. But yeah,
- 38:54Speaker 4: like those jerseys we give away, those jersey swaps you see.
- 38:56Speaker 8: After the game, we're paying for that.
- 39:00Speaker 4: Pyroll a duck payroll, a duck pay road, a duck
- 39:02Speaker 4: So everybody was like, I need to sign jersey.
- 39:04Speaker 8: I gotta pay for that. It's not coming for free.
- 39:06Speaker 4: And there's only a certain amount of them too, so
- 39:08Speaker 4: I'm like, God, I don't have that many, Like it's
- 39:11Speaker 4: not an unlimited source.
- 39:12Speaker 3: Well I was gonna ask for one, but I guess nothing. Yeah,
- 39:14Speaker 3: I get it.
- 39:15Speaker 2: He's for three hundred. He's no business man for three hundred.
- 39:19Speaker 8: They'll get you one. Love me.
- 39:20Speaker 3: Last, last, last, last question.
- 39:21Speaker 1: So are you thinking about coaching like you sports in
- 39:25Speaker 1: the future too, like cause it's it's funny like in
- 39:27Speaker 1: where I live, Matt Castle, his kid plays with my kids.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, and it's he's always there on this on
- 39:32Speaker 1: the sidelines, not coaching. He sometimes not even watching the
- 39:35Speaker 1: game because he's just kind of like whatever.
- 39:36Speaker 3: My son's gonna do whatever he's gonna do.
- 39:38Speaker 1: Like, how are you as a parent with sports and
- 39:40Speaker 1: are you going to coach?
- 39:41Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 39:41Speaker 4: My name Castle is like seven kids. He drives a
- 39:43Speaker 4: sprinter Jos Mercedes Sprinner event every day.
- 39:46Speaker 8: All the kids just coming. No kids like at work.
- 39:49Speaker 8: So I'm like, bro, it's weird you drive back every day.
- 39:51Speaker 4: I love the Sprinter. So yeah, I love Matt Castle.
- 39:54Speaker 4: I do coach my kids. So I coached my son's
- 39:57Speaker 4: soccer team and I actually left the mid season, winter
- 40:01Speaker 4: season or fall season to go return to the football. So
- 40:03Speaker 4: the kids are a little upset about that. When they
- 40:05Speaker 4: saw me in Super Bowl, they're happy. But we've We're
- 40:07Speaker 4: on three seasons now. So I've been coaching my kids.
- 40:10Speaker 4: And the only reason I became a coach is because
- 40:12Speaker 4: a parent didn't show up. The coaching show up the
- 40:15Speaker 4: first game, so I get there. How does the coach
- 40:17Speaker 4: not show I signed? I signed, It's like parent volunteers.
- 40:21Speaker 4: That's the first game. So I signed my son up
- 40:23Speaker 4: new league. They tell me he's good at soccer at school.
- 40:25Speaker 4: I'm like, all right, buddy, we'll sign you up. We
- 40:27Speaker 4: go there, Jersey's on the ground. You know, zero through
- 40:29Speaker 4: eight or whatever. He gets the jersey that fits some
- 40:32Speaker 4: We're sitting there, all sitting down like the game's supposed
- 40:35Speaker 4: to start, and like we don't have any parent, like,
- 40:38Speaker 4: no coach. So they're like, hey, do one of your
- 40:40Speaker 4: parents want to like volunteer like this coach this game
- 40:44Speaker 4: because we don't have it. So everyone looks at me,
- 40:46Speaker 4: like you look athletic, why don't you coach? So I'm
- 40:48Speaker 4: looking around like all right, I'll coach. So me and
- 40:51Speaker 4: my wife end up coaching the game. The next week,
- 40:53Speaker 4: the parent are coaching show up again. So I'm like, nah,
- 40:57Speaker 4: now we're letting these kids down. So I became the
- 40:59Speaker 4: coach from that. From that game on, we're twenty four
- 41:04Speaker 4: and oh, we haven't lost a game in three season,
- 41:06Speaker 4: not that I'm keeping count. Let's go, and we got
- 41:10Speaker 4: one more season left coming up here in the spring
- 41:12Speaker 4: season six or eight, and the seasons are like six
- 41:14Speaker 4: or eight games played Saturday mornings, and my son might retire,
- 41:18Speaker 4: you know, thirty and oh this.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Year or so, you're not playing in the games with
- 41:22Speaker 2: the record like that, it's like sneaking in.
- 41:25Speaker 5: No.
- 41:26Speaker 4: I mean, what happens is we show up with a boombox.
- 41:29Speaker 4: We have good music, we have good vibes, we run plays.
- 41:31Speaker 4: My son's pretty good. His friends are on the team.
- 41:34Speaker 4: They request us. The parents can request the coach they want.
- 41:38Speaker 4: So your team is ten per team, right, and you
- 41:40Speaker 4: have to play five at a time. So we do
- 41:41Speaker 4: like hockey subs, right, And we had fifteen requests this
- 41:45Speaker 4: season because every parent's requesting my team. So now I'm
- 41:48Speaker 4: picking based on the kids I know in the league.
- 41:51Speaker 4: So now I have a loaded team.
- 41:52Speaker 8: Yeah, no salary cat and I have this kid.
- 41:55Speaker 4: I got this new kid, and I mean it's like
- 41:56Speaker 4: having it's like having Messi and Boppy on the same
- 41:59Speaker 4: team right now. So now like we're not we're not losing.
- 42:02Speaker 4: So now we're just you know, my son's about to
- 42:04Speaker 4: go play a line in the second half. You know,
- 42:06Speaker 4: he's got to go back in the goal.
- 42:07Speaker 5: After he is and obviously all the inile money you
- 42:09Speaker 5: can handle.
- 42:09Speaker 8: Look at that. Yeah, we're starting. Yeah, my son got
- 42:12Speaker 8: it on Instagram. You see soccer highlights.
- 42:14Speaker 2: Hey, we appreciate you having us. I appreciate saving Hey,

- 43:50Speaker 2: by then.
- 43:50Speaker 6: We've got a timeline.
- 43:51Speaker 5: So Mike d has picked Texas.
- 43:55Speaker 2: Oh boy, and if your team loses first of all
- 43:58Speaker 2: the teams, you lose. Now, Mike, Now, if you do Texas,
- 44:02Speaker 2: but then tomorrow one of the other teams loses, that's
- 44:04Speaker 2: the same because you guys lost in the same spot
- 44:06Speaker 2: in the bracket.
- 44:06Speaker 7: You got it, Okay, I thought you meant like time.
- 44:08Speaker 7: I was like, Arizona plays early no no.
- 44:11Speaker 5: So okay, spot in the bracket. So Mike has picked Texas.
- 44:15Speaker 3: And they played Colorado.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Play Colorado on Thursday.
- 44:19Speaker 5: Colorada.
- 44:20Speaker 3: Colorado's in there too.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Now it's sure Reed has chosen Auburn. He was playing
- 44:26Speaker 2: Yale on Friday.
- 44:27Speaker 3: That's a good one.
- 44:29Speaker 2: I have Kentucky. They're playing the Raiders. The Raiders Oakland
- 44:38Speaker 2: got They're playing Oakland Thursday. Kevin has Arizona versus Long
- 44:42Speaker 2: Beach Day, which we're all pulling for Long Beach Day
- 44:43Speaker 2: because that's.
- 44:44Speaker 5: The coaches fire.
- 44:46Speaker 6: But a little bit yeaheah.
- 44:49Speaker 2: And then Eddie has Shaka Shaka Smart with Marquette. Marquette
- 44:53Speaker 2: versus fifteen seed Western Kentucky on Friday.
- 44:55Speaker 3: It would be good to go.
- 44:58Speaker 5: Man, that's fine. I hope.
- 44:59Speaker 2: I don't want to lose, but it's hilarious if I
- 45:01Speaker 2: don't lose. To me, it's hilarious if I don't lose.
- 45:03Speaker 2: And you got to bake a cake and try to.
- 45:04Speaker 6: Do a good job and you document the whole thing, right,
- 45:06Speaker 6: you have.
- 45:07Speaker 5: To so you're like whife or girlfriend or whatever the
- 45:09Speaker 5: cases didn't do it. Oh yeah, dude, easy, you say that.
- 45:14Speaker 1: You want me to lose? Guys, I make a good cake,
- 45:16Speaker 1: a real good cake. You guys want it double deckerd
- 45:19Speaker 1: or do you want to just single like a regular?
- 45:21Speaker 8: Want?
- 45:22Speaker 5: I want anybody to lose? It's not me.
- 45:23Speaker 2: I don't care if it tastes good if it's terrible.
- 45:25Speaker 2: Either way, our audience wins. So there you go. Two
- 45:32Speaker 2: things I want to mention, both financially based.
- 45:34Speaker 3: Oh go.
- 45:38Speaker 8: No.
- 45:38Speaker 5: Otani's interpreter was betting on the games.
- 45:40Speaker 2: Oh crap, dude, I mean you think there's more to
- 45:43Speaker 2: the story. There always is more to every story. It's
- 45:46Speaker 2: will like come out and will they find it, find
- 45:49Speaker 2: that it's important enough to dig into it because the
- 45:52Speaker 2: demand is there, you know, they want it to go away.
- 45:56Speaker 2: But the Eli Dodgers interpreter for Otani was fired on
- 45:59Speaker 2: one afternoon after questions surrounding four point five million bucks
- 46:02Speaker 2: in wire transfers sent from Otani's bank account to a
- 46:06Speaker 2: book making operation, which also, you know, the question would be,
- 46:09Speaker 2: this is just my question. I heard this question anywhere.
- 46:12Speaker 2: So they fired an interpreter. Maybe the interpreter took the
- 46:14Speaker 2: fall because you know, Otani was want of making the bet,
- 46:17Speaker 2: was like, yeah, it.
- 46:18Speaker 3: Was me because it's his account, right.
- 46:20Speaker 1: But yet they did throw a quote in there and
- 46:22Speaker 1: says Otani's never been on sports before.
- 46:24Speaker 2: The guy, a longtime friend and interpreter for Otani, incurred
- 46:28Speaker 2: the gambling debts to a southern California book making operation
- 46:31Speaker 2: and why that gets a bit hairrier. It's illegal there
- 46:34Speaker 2: there's no legal gambling in California.
- 46:36Speaker 3: You didn't know that.
- 46:38Speaker 5: So it's under federal investigation.
- 46:39Speaker 1: And we all know this guy right like we've all
- 46:41Speaker 1: seen him. I mean I think in All Star Game. Yeah,
- 46:44Speaker 1: I mean every time he says something, he's right next
- 46:46Speaker 1: to him.
- 46:47Speaker 5: I thought, you met the bookie.
- 46:48Speaker 3: You know.
- 46:50Speaker 2: Now we're in trouble because well they were in trouble first,
- 46:54Speaker 2: but now we're in more trouble because everybody knows who
- 46:57Speaker 2: we are. I mean, that's how they ended up getting
- 46:59Speaker 2: around two it. But I'm saying now it's like a
- 47:01Speaker 2: big story, so.
- 47:04Speaker 1: Or Bones? Does it help them? Because now we know
- 47:06Speaker 1: their name? So when they do legalize gambling, we'll be like, hey,
- 47:08Speaker 1: where is no?
- 47:09Speaker 5: Because that's not how it works. You don't legalize bookies.
- 47:12Speaker 2: You legalize places like drivekings that you trust and that
- 47:15Speaker 2: after the government regulate.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Got it, got it. My dad had a book he
- 47:19Speaker 1: growing up. He was his name was the Devil. Well
- 47:22Speaker 1: that's what they called him, the devil Diablo, Yeah, I Diablo.
- 47:25Speaker 1: And what's funny about him, Bones, is that his truck
- 47:28Speaker 1: he'd always collect on.
- 47:29Speaker 3: He did all the bets on the weekend.
- 47:30Speaker 1: He'd collect on Monday morning, and sometimes I'd be home
- 47:34Speaker 1: and his truck wouldn't go in reverse, so.
- 47:36Speaker 3: He wouldn't park on our yard. He couldn't go in
- 47:38Speaker 3: the driveway.
- 47:39Speaker 1: He would just park in our yard because I'm like, dude,
- 47:41Speaker 1: use the driveway every time the devil came by it
- 47:43Speaker 1: and he's like, I can't man caught. My truck doesn't
- 47:45Speaker 1: go reverse, Like, but you're on our yard because we
- 47:48Speaker 1: didn't live on like a street street.
- 47:50Speaker 5: Are you making enough money? Is the devil to buy
- 47:52Speaker 5: a truck that goes over?
- 47:53Speaker 3: Apparently not?
- 47:54Speaker 5: Maybe that was just his thing.
- 47:56Speaker 2: The devil only goes forward, yea, he confirmed, So Misuhara,
- 48:01Speaker 2: I'm gonna probably saying that wrong.
- 48:02Speaker 5: That's the interpreter confirmed.
- 48:04Speaker 2: He was paid between three hundred thousand and five hundred
- 48:06Speaker 2: thousand while working for the Angels. Musahara told ESPN his
- 48:09Speaker 2: bets were placed on international soccer, the NBA, NFL, and
- 48:12Speaker 2: college football. Quote, I never bet on baseball. Mimsuura said,
- 48:15Speaker 2: that's one hundred percent. I knew that rule. We have
- 48:16Speaker 2: a meeting about it in spring training. He went on
- 48:18Speaker 2: to say Otani had nothing to do with it. And
- 48:20Speaker 2: if true, then the okay that they can handle their
- 48:22Speaker 2: little you can't bet in California thing, that that's our
- 48:25Speaker 2: that's our business.
- 48:26Speaker 1: Well, why was he using Otani's money? He had to
- 48:30Speaker 1: cover for him, That's that's the that's the problem. Like okay, okay, fine,
- 48:34Speaker 1: you gambled, you gambled in hockey whatever, But why were
- 48:36Speaker 1: you using his money?
- 48:38Speaker 5: What's the answer to that?
- 48:39Speaker 7: Because he had he said that he had to cover
- 48:41Speaker 7: for him, or Tani had to cover for him, and
- 48:42Speaker 7: he said, well, he could have just given him the money.
- 48:44Speaker 7: What do you mean like like like he couldn't pay
- 48:47Speaker 7: his own debts, so Tani had to front the money
- 48:50Speaker 7: for him, and they had to use it under his
- 48:53Speaker 7: name and wire transfer.
- 48:54Speaker 5: He would lose and couldn't pay for what he bet,
- 48:56Speaker 5: so Tani had.
- 48:57Speaker 3: To send them money.
- 48:59Speaker 5: TONI needs a different That guy's an idiot. Here's that thing.
- 49:04Speaker 2: I've never once in my life, ever, in the history
- 49:11Speaker 2: of my life, as much as I'm on my phone,
- 49:13Speaker 2: as much as I use uh by, check car, my
- 49:16Speaker 2: credit card, whatever the case is, I've never even been
- 49:20Speaker 2: to the site. Oh boy, I checked my credit card
- 49:24Speaker 2: point yesterday I've never checked my credit card points.
- 49:27Speaker 5: I've never ever.
- 49:28Speaker 3: Oh if you've never checked them, I.
- 49:31Speaker 5: Didn't even know I had them, and they don't expire.
- 49:35Speaker 1: Yeah, bro, we're going to Hawaii. We're gonna do the
- 49:38Speaker 1: show from Hawaii next week.
- 49:40Speaker 5: We're talking about years and years and years and years.
- 49:46Speaker 2: Of accumulating points, not just for personal all my credit
- 49:49Speaker 2: card card, but like all work stuff I do.
- 49:53Speaker 5: And I looked at it.
- 49:54Speaker 3: What's the number?
- 49:55Speaker 2: Well, I don't even know if the number will matter,
- 49:57Speaker 2: because I think probably all points systems are different, right.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Yeah, but I mean yeah, because they're already high. The
- 50:01Speaker 1: numbers already high. Like I think, I think I have
- 50:03Speaker 1: twenty thousand points, got it?
- 50:06Speaker 5: I have three million, two hundred thousand points.
- 50:11Speaker 3: Yeah, we're going to Hawaii.
- 50:13Speaker 5: If I were to cash it in.
- 50:17Speaker 2: Because they won't give me cash cash, but if I
- 50:19Speaker 2: were to go, I'll take gift cards.
- 50:21Speaker 3: Oh you can do that.
- 50:22Speaker 5: Yeah, a thirty thousand dollars gift card.
- 50:28Speaker 3: That's amazing. It's a big gift card.
- 50:30Speaker 6: Where we're going.
- 50:31Speaker 5: I didn't even know I had points.
- 50:34Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I take the money, dude, forget Hawaii. Take
- 50:36Speaker 3: the money.
- 50:37Speaker 5: There's no money. It's it's a gift card.
- 50:38Speaker 3: Yeah, that's money. I mean, just pay with everything with that.
- 50:41Speaker 5: I want to forget about it for longer.
- 50:43Speaker 3: Yeah, just keep accumulating.
- 50:46Speaker 5: I can buy something.
- 50:47Speaker 6: They give you one gift card or is it like
- 50:49Speaker 6: thirty thousand.
- 50:49Speaker 3: That's a good question.
- 50:51Speaker 5: Oh it's you can only get one hundred dollar ones.
- 50:53Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's a lot of gift cards, which
- 50:55Speaker 2: is why do I want to do it. It's one
- 50:57Speaker 2: hundred dollars max gift card, but you can get up
- 51:00Speaker 2: to thirty thousand dollars. So let's so ten would be
- 51:03Speaker 2: one thousand. Now you gotta do thirty of those thirty
- 51:07Speaker 2: times ten. Is I need three thousand gift cards? I
- 51:11Speaker 2: got that three thousand, and I don't want gift cards.
- 51:16Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't want that. Let's just go home.
- 51:18Speaker 2: I've never once checked my freaking balance. And I happened
- 51:20Speaker 2: to go because I asked my business manager, who like
- 51:24Speaker 2: pays Eddie, like when he does a show.
- 51:27Speaker 5: I don't pay Eddie. It goes to an account and
- 51:29Speaker 5: she paid. She pays that all of us.
- 51:31Speaker 2: I was like, hey, do I have any done any
- 51:33Speaker 2: points or anything like that, and she was like, yeah,
- 51:36Speaker 2: in your credit card and I was like, oh my god.
- 51:38Speaker 5: She goes. I said, do they expire? She goes, not usually,
- 51:41Speaker 5: can you give me that log in? I logged in
- 51:47Speaker 5: and I saw the number, and I was like, what
- 51:48Speaker 5: about three million gets?
- 51:49Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 51:50Speaker 2: I thought, you know, like you have a bunch of
- 51:52Speaker 2: tickets over David Busters. Yeah yeah, get you a nice
- 51:55Speaker 2: toy guitar or something.
- 51:56Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, you go to the little shop the store there.
- 52:00Speaker 5: And that's what it was. Basically thirty thousand dollars.
- 52:02Speaker 4: Wow.
- 52:03Speaker 5: Man, so it does a pretty good spotts man.
- 52:06Speaker 8: Yeah, I do.
- 52:06Speaker 2: That's really coy. It's cool to be you dude, it's not.
- 52:09Speaker 2: I mean, I had to spend that money to get
- 52:10Speaker 2: that money. I just did, right, It's not like I
- 52:11Speaker 2: got it given to me, right right.
- 52:13Speaker 5: Right, right right, all right, We're done, right right right,
- 52:16Speaker 5: We're done.
- 52:17Speaker 3: We're out of here.
- 52:18Speaker 5: Thank you. No, I gotta go do live your life,
- 52:22Speaker 5: got your basketball, go.
- 52:25Speaker 2: Blow the whis out.
- 52:26Speaker 8: Hold on bye, everybody,
