- 1:15Speaker 6: but is way grateful that is not who he used
- 1:18Speaker 6: to be.
- 1:18Speaker 4: Here, welcome you, Keta mccallugh. I have you with us,
- 1:27Speaker 4: so grateful to be telling you about in this season
- 1:31Speaker 4: the incredible work of my very good friends at Bible
- 1:35Speaker 4: League International Bible League. If you're new to that Kevin Show,
- 1:38Speaker 4: if you're new to us being on in your area.
- 1:42Speaker 4: This is a group I've partnered with for a long
- 1:46Speaker 4: long time just out of New York City, but they
- 1:48Speaker 4: are actually located in Chicago. And even back when I
- 1:51Speaker 4: was a student at Moody Bible Institute one hundred and
- 1:53Speaker 4: eighty five years ago, they were doing great things and
- 1:57Speaker 4: we as students knew about what they were doing, and
- 1:59Speaker 4: a lot of our guys wanted to go work with
- 2:03Speaker 4: them to get Bibles into people's hands around the globe.
- 2:06Speaker 4: That's what they've focused on doing. That's what they've done
- 2:09Speaker 4: for eighty eight plus years, and faithful to that call
- 2:14Speaker 4: ever since. Michael Woolworth is back with us, and Michael,
- 2:17Speaker 4: as we kick off another hour here, I'm reminded that
- 2:22Speaker 4: we are instructed that people will not know about the
- 2:25Speaker 4: good News of the Gospel. If they do not hear
- 2:28Speaker 4: the good news of the Gospel. They will not know
- 2:30Speaker 4: about the amazing gift that Jesus has for them if
- 2:34Speaker 4: we don't speak, if we don't help them have access
- 2:37Speaker 4: to that message. And nothing is more plain about the
- 2:41Speaker 4: good News of Jesus than the text of scripture itself.
- 2:44Speaker 4: That's how we know that it is a genuine thing,
- 2:49Speaker 4: because this is Jesus's words and revelation and the best
- 2:53Speaker 4: way we have of knowing him personally through his thoughts
- 2:57Speaker 4: and words. And so this is what the Bible has
- 3:00Speaker 4: been crafted by. This is what we seek to put
- 3:03Speaker 4: into the hand of every person who is curious about Christianity,
- 3:06Speaker 4: but beyond that, who wants to deepen their own development
- 3:10Speaker 4: and faith as they grow older and become discipled. So
- 3:15Speaker 4: the Bible plays a critical role in the life of
- 3:18Speaker 4: every person that claims to be a believer in Jesus.
- 3:22Speaker 4: And that's one of the reasons, friend, those of you
- 3:24Speaker 4: listening and watching, that's one of the reasons why we
- 3:26Speaker 4: at that Kevin Show have said this is not only
- 3:30Speaker 4: worth mentioning, it's worth highlighting, it's worth helping with, it's
- 3:33Speaker 4: worth doing everything we can to multiply those Bibles into
- 3:38Speaker 4: the hands of people around the world. And Michael Wilworth
- 3:41Speaker 4: from Bible League, there's lots of reasons why people don't
- 3:44Speaker 4: have Bibles. What are some of the most common ones.
- 3:47Speaker 8: Well, Kevin, you've been a great friend of Bible League,
- 3:49Speaker 8: inviting your listening family to be a part of what
- 3:52Speaker 8: God is doing. So thanks for that. And I wish
- 3:54Speaker 8: I had the math. That's always my regret when you
- 3:56Speaker 8: and I get together, as in one of the actual math.
- 3:58Speaker 8: But I know it's probably a million believers who had
- 4:01Speaker 8: no hope of a Bible right that grateful to be
- 4:04Speaker 8: a part of the family of God, you know, growing
- 4:06Speaker 8: his believers as they sit under the godly preaching of
- 4:09Speaker 8: you know, God's word from preachers and you know, in
- 4:12Speaker 8: the bush of Africa. You know, maybe in a big,
- 4:14Speaker 8: bustling city like Beijing, but how much better when you
- 4:17Speaker 8: can open up your own Bible right and read you
- 4:20Speaker 8: know about the God who loves you, right to understand
- 4:23Speaker 8: his will for your life. And so that's what this
- 4:26Speaker 8: listening family has done. And Kevin is kind of the
- 4:29Speaker 8: you know, the host that calls them to live out
- 4:30Speaker 8: who they are in Jesus, we thank you for that.
- 4:33Speaker 8: You know, we have an ambitious goal to bless just
- 4:35Speaker 8: north of ten thousand waiting believers that we know by
- 4:38Speaker 8: name is at Bible leg and that really should be
- 4:40Speaker 8: comfort to you listeners as we come and we share
- 4:44Speaker 8: stories today. You know, fifty Bibles needed here, a thousand
- 4:47Speaker 8: over here, five hundred over here, right that you know,
- 4:50Speaker 8: Gods had work in his world through you know, ministries
- 4:52Speaker 8: like Bible. We're certainly not the biggest. We haven't been
- 4:55Speaker 8: doing it the longest, but we have had, you know,
- 4:58Speaker 8: the blessing of God favor to again bring that joy
- 5:03Speaker 8: that so many of us get to experience. Right, how deep,
- 5:06Speaker 8: how wide, how long, how high is the love of Christ? Right,
- 5:09Speaker 8: we've been able to experience that in our own lives.
- 5:11Speaker 8: And you're doing that when you provide a Bible to
- 5:14Speaker 8: believers even half a world away. Yeah, Kevin, the question is,
- 5:17Speaker 8: you know, in this age of technology, you know why
- 5:20Speaker 8: does so many Christians go without a Bible. We can
- 5:22Speaker 8: tell you in the regions where we serve of Asia, Africa,
- 5:25Speaker 8: the Middle East, and Latin America, then on average nine
- 5:28Speaker 8: of ten new believers go without a Bible. And you know,
- 5:32Speaker 8: ought to draw your mind maybe to the text in
- 5:34Speaker 8: Psalm one nineteen where you know the Psalmas says look
- 5:36Speaker 8: cherish CODs word, hide it in your heart? Right, how
- 5:39Speaker 8: do you do that if you've never held it in
- 5:41Speaker 8: your hands? And so you know the reasons for this.
- 5:44Speaker 8: Corrupt governments, you know, communists, China, the government there wants
- 5:48Speaker 8: to be everything to its people. They do everything they
- 5:51Speaker 8: can to prevent the spread of the Gospel places like
- 5:54Speaker 8: the Middle East, where majority religions really rule the day. Right,
- 5:58Speaker 8: you know you and I are excited church growth, Right,
- 6:01Speaker 8: there are forces at work in places like the Middle
- 6:03Speaker 8: East where they don't share in that excitement.
- 6:05Speaker 5: Right.
- 6:06Speaker 8: There is remoteness where people don't live near a you know,
- 6:08Speaker 8: a Christian bookstore or a discount retailer, or you know,
- 6:12Speaker 8: in a place where Amazon dot Com will drop a
- 6:14Speaker 8: box of Bibles into their village.
- 6:16Speaker 3: There's poverty.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Right.
- 6:18Speaker 8: If you make two dollars a day, you know, US dollars,
- 6:20Speaker 8: two dollars a day, you know you can't afford a Bible.
- 6:23Speaker 8: So for those and other reasons, you know, a physical
- 6:26Speaker 8: Bible is still the answer. People do have access to
- 6:29Speaker 8: cell phone technology, but not necessarily the smartphone technology. So again,
- 6:33Speaker 8: a physical Bible is still the answer. And again we
- 6:36Speaker 8: can provide it at Bible League for the princely sum
- 6:39Speaker 8: of only five dollars in Bible. And so, Kevin, that's
- 6:42Speaker 8: why we've joined together. We're not here merely to share
- 6:44Speaker 8: interesting stories or to fill some time. It really is
- 6:47Speaker 8: to put Bibles into the empty waiting hands of again
- 6:51Speaker 8: believers that we know by name at Bible League all
- 6:54Speaker 8: over the world.
- 6:55Speaker 4: And these are people that if you were, if you
- 6:59Speaker 4: were to talk to them about the problems that they face,
- 7:02Speaker 4: whether it's government corruption or the banning of religious expression
- 7:09Speaker 4: or whatever the animosity might be towards Christianity or towards
- 7:16Speaker 4: the Scriptures themselves, that you won't find them asking for
- 7:21Speaker 4: those circumstances to be changed. They probably would like them
- 7:25Speaker 4: to be. They would probably love to have an acumenical
- 7:28Speaker 4: environment where they can read their Bible and practice their
- 7:31Speaker 4: faith alongside other people doing their thing, but that's not
- 7:35Speaker 4: what they ask for. They ask for scripture so that
- 7:39Speaker 4: they can, number one, gird up their own heart with
- 7:42Speaker 4: truth and encouragement and be able to face the stuff
- 7:46Speaker 4: that they face, but then to also be ready to
- 7:48Speaker 4: answer the questions that people around them have about why
- 7:52Speaker 4: they live the way they do. And as we talk
- 7:55Speaker 4: about in our how do we live segment all the time,
- 7:58Speaker 4: If we're not about making disciples that make disciples that
- 8:02Speaker 4: make disciples, miss that we've missed the purpose of the Gospel.
- 8:05Speaker 4: We've missed the purpose of Jesus coming our goal isn't
- 8:10Speaker 4: to hoard eternity, it's to give it away. It's to say,
- 8:13Speaker 4: come and go with us. No Jesus know the peace
- 8:17Speaker 4: that he brings. No know the love that he brings
- 8:19Speaker 4: to your life in ways that you will not find
- 8:22Speaker 4: matched in any other world religion or faith. My son
- 8:25Speaker 4: has been studying a little bit global religions through some
- 8:30Speaker 4: classes in school, and he talks to me regularly about
- 8:33Speaker 4: you know, how different, how unique the Christian faith is.
- 8:37Speaker 4: It stands apart in the hope that it brings to
- 8:39Speaker 4: people well in order to continue to offer that, to
- 8:43Speaker 4: duplicate that, to make disciples, who make disciples, you've got
- 8:46Speaker 4: to have something for them to grow with. And scripture
- 8:49Speaker 4: is the foundation. It's the seed, it's the watering, it's
- 8:53Speaker 4: the fertilization, it's the sunshine, it's everything you need to
- 8:57Speaker 4: grow faith, the Christian faith inside someone's life. And so
- 9:02Speaker 4: when these people are asking for it, they're doing it
- 9:04Speaker 4: in remarkable ways. The phone number is one eight hundred
- 9:07Speaker 4: yes word, one eight hundred yes word. You can also
- 9:09Speaker 4: give by giving online at that kevinshow dot com. Click
- 9:13Speaker 4: the banner at the top of the page. Just click
- 9:15Speaker 4: through on there it shouldn't take more than.
- 9:17Speaker 5: A couple of minutes.
- 9:17Speaker 4: But do that five dollars a bible. Imagine this thirty bibles.
- 9:22Speaker 4: You can deliver thirty Bibles for a one time, you
- 9:25Speaker 4: have to wan of one hundred and fifty dollars. And
- 9:27Speaker 4: when you think about the fact the Bible League for
- 9:30Speaker 4: over eighty years, this isn't a fly by night statistic.
- 9:34Speaker 4: For over eighty years they have tracked and on average,
- 9:38Speaker 4: every Bible that goes out sees twelve people come to
- 9:41Speaker 4: know Jesus. That's what I call a miracle multiplier. One
- 9:45Speaker 4: eight hundred yes word one eight hundred yes word. Or
- 9:48Speaker 4: go online to that kevinshow dot com and click the
- 9:50Speaker 4: Bible League banner at the top.
- 9:51Speaker 9: Of the faith.
- 10:08Speaker 10: Here he is from New York. Exact Kevin. Kevin McCullough,
- 10:15Speaker 10: Welcome back.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Kevin McCullough. It's that part of the broadcast on this
- 10:18Speaker 4: Friday edition where we asked the big question, how do
- 10:20Speaker 4: we live? How do we live in a culture that
- 10:23Speaker 4: despises God, really has no use for his word, doesn't
- 10:26Speaker 4: seem to understand us much either. I argue that our
- 10:30Speaker 4: mission doesn't change and there's some real practicality to the
- 10:36Speaker 4: Christian faith. In that regard, it does not matter what's
- 10:40Speaker 4: going on out there, it matters what's going on inside
- 10:43Speaker 4: of us and how we're responding to God's leading. We're
- 10:47Speaker 4: so grateful to have been doing this series with Craig
- 10:50Speaker 4: Iergo of the christ Church at Grove Farm just outside Pittsburgh,
- 10:55Speaker 4: and Craig, we've been talking about kind of a an
- 10:58Speaker 4: in the box kind of school type of topic. People
- 11:02Speaker 4: that go to Bible College talk about the priesthood of
- 11:05Speaker 4: the believer and they have these theological discussions about what
- 11:08Speaker 4: it means and so forth. But we've really been unpacking
- 11:10Speaker 4: it from an everyday since this week, and we turn
- 11:14Speaker 4: today to first Peter three. What do we find there?
- 11:18Speaker 11: Yeah, you know, first of all, just to if you're
- 11:21Speaker 11: catching on today for the first time, we've been talking
- 11:23Speaker 11: about this royal priestood, as Kevin mentioned, and how we
- 11:26Speaker 11: live us out among our neighbors and all the world
- 11:28Speaker 11: really and it's about speaking truth and grace from God
- 11:31Speaker 11: opens doors.
- 11:32Speaker 5: It's loving like our high Priest.
- 11:34Speaker 11: And I think today, Kevin, we get to really with
- 11:37Speaker 11: the engine of all this is, you know, what gives
- 11:40Speaker 11: us the confidence to actually live this way, because what it.
- 11:42Speaker 5: Is at optimism about the present age.
- 11:45Speaker 11: Is it because of our secure leadership we have confidence
- 11:48Speaker 11: or whatever trends are now, No, our hope is rooted
- 11:52Speaker 11: in This is important, the risen, the risen Jesus Christ.
- 11:57Speaker 11: So here we are first Peter three fifteen. We're a
- 12:00Speaker 11: hopeful people. That's what we want to talk about today.
- 12:03Speaker 11: One Preeter three fifteen reads this way in your hearts,
- 12:07Speaker 11: Revere Christ's Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer
- 12:11Speaker 11: to everyone who asks you, to give you the reason
- 12:13Speaker 11: for the hope you have.
- 12:15Speaker 5: But do this with gentleness and respect.
- 12:17Speaker 11: So I think the premise here, Kevin, as we talk
- 12:20Speaker 11: about being priests again, is that people will be drawn
- 12:24Speaker 11: by hope. That's what strikes me in this passage as
- 12:27Speaker 11: I looked at it, and like, man, be prepared to
- 12:30Speaker 11: give an answer to everyone, not.
- 12:31Speaker 5: About what you believe.
- 12:33Speaker 12: It's like because of the hope you have, the hope
- 12:35Speaker 12: you have, and it's like the hope that we live
- 12:39Speaker 12: with that kind of exhus from our very presence, the
- 12:43Speaker 12: way we walk and live, that even precedes our explanation
- 12:49Speaker 12: even proceed. There's a hopeful countenance to God's people and
- 12:54Speaker 12: hope really, I think is a thing that sustains the
- 12:57Speaker 12: whole shebang, the whole thing, And I hope here we
- 13:01Speaker 12: see begins with the lordship of Jesus. It's like there's
- 13:06Speaker 12: a worship here, right, and revere Christ as Lord in
- 13:10Speaker 12: your hearts.
- 13:10Speaker 5: Revere Christ is are because Jesus is truly.
- 13:13Speaker 11: If he truly is lord, if he is the king
- 13:16Speaker 11: of kings and the Lord of lords, if the government's
- 13:19Speaker 11: on his shoulders, then no headline and no cultural war
- 13:22Speaker 11: and no rejection or election, none of that can dethrone him.
- 13:27Speaker 11: And so we don't hope because the odds are in
- 13:29Speaker 11: our favor. We hope because Christ is king. Jesus is King,
- 13:36Speaker 11: and he reigns forever.
- 13:38Speaker 4: I've long said, and it was my reformed friends that
- 13:42Speaker 4: helped me kind of understand this, But the purpose of
- 13:46Speaker 4: the Christian life is not to become a holier than now,
- 13:52Speaker 4: though sometimes the people have turned it into that. That
- 13:57Speaker 4: kind of runs against what we've been talking about all week. Actually,
- 14:00Speaker 4: truth without love is brutal to people. But also love
- 14:07Speaker 4: without truth, there's this lack of balance of understanding of
- 14:11Speaker 4: God's standards. But my reform friends have helped me understand
- 14:15Speaker 4: that with Jesus. With Jesus in our life and in
- 14:19Speaker 4: our heart, each day is the establishment of His kingdom.
- 14:24Speaker 4: Each day is the advancing of His truth. Each day
- 14:28Speaker 4: is another opportunity to say, thank you, Lord for dying
- 14:34Speaker 4: for me, Thank you for giving your life, thank you
- 14:36Speaker 4: for sacrificing everything that you did so that I could
- 14:39Speaker 4: just have the mere chance to have a relationship with you.
- 14:43Speaker 4: And if we are not moved by the depth of
- 14:46Speaker 4: what was accomplished for that to occur, then we really
- 14:51Speaker 4: don't understand the hope that we have because the penalty
- 14:55Speaker 4: that we were slated to pay is so harsh. It
- 14:59Speaker 4: is so you know, unforgiving literally had been left up
- 15:04Speaker 4: to us. And the fact that he stepped in and
- 15:07Speaker 4: became our rescue and did just that, that should effuse
- 15:11Speaker 4: us on a daily basis to say, how can I,
- 15:15Speaker 4: with this gratitude, bring this hope to every person I
- 15:19Speaker 4: come into contact with so that they know it too.
- 15:22Speaker 11: Yeah, And you know, Kevin, I'm sure that some people
- 15:24Speaker 11: are like man gladas. You just slip on a pair
- 15:27Speaker 11: of rose colored glasses and is that what you're saying?
- 15:29Speaker 11: And it's way deeper than that. So like with me,
- 15:33Speaker 11: look at Philippians too. Briefly, I'll read just a couple
- 15:36Speaker 11: more verses. If you could bear with me, do everything
- 15:39Speaker 11: without grumbling or arguing, so that this is Philippins to
- 15:42Speaker 11: being in fourteen, do everything without grumbling or arguing, so
- 15:45Speaker 11: that you may become blameless and pure children of God
- 15:49Speaker 11: without fault in a warped and crooked generation.
- 15:53Speaker 5: How about that? Then you will shine among them, even
- 15:56Speaker 5: them like stars in the sky. So again, the context
- 15:59Speaker 5: is God always talking to.
- 16:00Speaker 11: People who are living in opposition, right, And we're in
- 16:04Speaker 11: a world where people are people are so anxious today,
- 16:07Speaker 11: and people are raging about lots of things, and people
- 16:11Speaker 11: are complaining, and people are afraid. And in the context
- 16:14Speaker 11: of a historical Christianity that looks much like the same
- 16:19Speaker 11: thing where people are warped and crooked. God calls his
- 16:23Speaker 11: nation of priest, the people who are in Christ, who
- 16:27Speaker 11: have the spirit of God alive and active in them.
- 16:30Speaker 11: He calls us to live with a confidence that reflects
- 16:34Speaker 11: and this is it. It's a citizenship in another kingdom.
- 16:38Speaker 11: And because we have citizenship in another kingdom, it's more
- 16:41Speaker 11: than rose colored glasses. It's a reality, and it's as
- 16:44Speaker 11: real as the chair you're sitting on. It's as real
- 16:47Speaker 11: as as the table that your book.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Is on right now.
- 16:51Speaker 11: And because of that, like we there's a patience even
- 16:56Speaker 11: in this present age, there is an enduring that we
- 16:59Speaker 11: are strengthen do there is even a joy. Yeah, And
- 17:03Speaker 11: it gives us the ability to speak with a gentleness
- 17:07Speaker 11: and a respect because we have a hope that.
- 17:10Speaker 5: There's a God who's bigger than all of this.
- 17:13Speaker 4: That's the only hope worth holding onto. To be honest,
- 17:17Speaker 4: you can you can try to you can try to
- 17:19Speaker 4: cling to your bank account, you can try to have
- 17:22Speaker 4: all kinds of sense of civic duty and responsibility and
- 17:28Speaker 4: and and I'm not saying you should have a bad
- 17:29Speaker 4: bank account, and I'm not saying that you should shirk
- 17:32Speaker 4: civic duty and be a good community member. But that's
- 17:36Speaker 4: not where the hope is. The hope is in the
- 17:39Speaker 4: same source that took me as a wretched center and
- 17:42Speaker 4: made me clean and made me whole and made me
- 17:46Speaker 4: acceptable to a father that I that I would not
- 17:48Speaker 4: have been. And now I get to have the great, great,
- 17:52Speaker 4: great chance, high honor to tell other people about that
- 17:57Speaker 4: on a daily basis. And I think that when we
- 17:59Speaker 4: when we truly understand what we've been saved from, that
- 18:02Speaker 4: hope grows bigger, the joy grows brighter. We have every
- 18:05Speaker 4: reason to be more grateful and deeper in that gratitude.
- 18:09Speaker 4: And that is consistent with everything we've been saying this week.
- 18:13Speaker 11: Could I just say this too, you know, when you
- 18:15Speaker 11: talk about talking about it, speaking every day, we've been,
- 18:17Speaker 11: We've been, you know, elaborating.
- 18:19Speaker 5: On that all week. And I know they're so there
- 18:21Speaker 5: are those among us who say, what if I don't
- 18:23Speaker 5: know enough? You know, what if what.
- 18:25Speaker 11: If all the objections or the rhetoric that comes at me,
- 18:29Speaker 11: I don't.
- 18:29Speaker 5: Know how to answer those I don't know how.
- 18:31Speaker 11: To explain that. You're not called to answer those things.
- 18:33Speaker 11: What the scripture says is you're being prepared.
- 18:36Speaker 5: To explain your hope, you know.
- 18:39Speaker 11: Tell tell how Christ has ministered to your heart, Tell
- 18:43Speaker 11: what God has saved you from. And that's ultimately the
- 18:46Speaker 11: story that we're to tell. That we've discovered a savior
- 18:49Speaker 11: who's forgiven us and given us life and given us
- 18:51Speaker 11: a peace and joy despite all the stuff in the world.
- 18:54Speaker 11: And then we have a hope that he's going to
- 18:56Speaker 11: reign forever and ever, and that we'll live in His kingdom,
- 19:00Speaker 11: both now and in the world, to come.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Well and in the midst of crises that may drive
- 19:06Speaker 4: other people mad or just break them down. Why why
- 19:11Speaker 4: don't we you know the secret of the hope that
- 19:15Speaker 4: is within. I mean there's a there's an implication and
- 19:18Speaker 4: even that that says, if Jesus is part of our life,
- 19:22Speaker 4: if the Holy Spirit isn't dwelling, then we should be
- 19:25Speaker 4: facing some of those difficulties differently, loss of loved ones,
- 19:30Speaker 4: you know, big tragedies, because it's our job to show
- 19:34Speaker 4: people that this isn't the this isn't all there is.
- 19:36Speaker 4: This is not all there is. What we see here
- 19:38Speaker 4: is not that, and that is one of the greatest
- 19:41Speaker 4: hopes of all. All Right, Craig, what a great week.
- 19:44Speaker 4: Thank you for getting up and being with us. And
- 19:47Speaker 4: I always appreciate the shepherds that do this. If people
- 19:50Speaker 4: are in the Pittsburgh area this weekend, by chance, maybe
- 19:54Speaker 4: they're even traveling and want to drop in. What are
- 19:56Speaker 4: you teaching on this Sunday? And how can people get there?
- 19:59Speaker 11: We love this see anyone who want to come and
- 20:01Speaker 11: visit us at Christchurch at Grow Farm. You can look
- 20:03Speaker 11: up at CCGF dot org. And this this weekend, we're
- 20:07Speaker 11: in a series of Exodus actually, and we're talking about
- 20:10Speaker 11: living life together as God's people. And we're going to
- 20:12Speaker 11: be looking at Exodus thirty two and even a little bit.
- 20:14Speaker 5: Of thirty three and thirty four. That's the Golden Calf episode.
- 20:18Speaker 5: And we're gonna be looking.
- 20:18Speaker 11: At like how what you put at the center of
- 20:21Speaker 11: your life dictates your life.
- 20:24Speaker 4: That's true. So that's really true, all right. CCGF dot org.
- 20:29Speaker 4: That's Christchurch Growtharm CCGF dot org for more info, Greg,
- 20:34Speaker 4: please come back. We're going to look forward to spending
- 20:37Speaker 4: more weeks with you in the future, but we appreciate
- 20:39Speaker 4: this one.
- 20:39Speaker 5: I'll look forward to it. Thank you. Kevin, you got it.
- 20:41Speaker 4: Kevin mcckellaugh, Big Friday edition still in front of us.
- 20:44Speaker 4: Stay here, let's stick around for more of that Kevin.
- 20:50Speaker 10: Next here he is from New York.
- 21:11Speaker 3: That Kevin Kevin McCullough.
- 21:15Speaker 9: Welcome back.
- 21:16Speaker 4: Is that Kevin show, That kevinshow dot com. Always glad
- 21:19Speaker 4: to have you with us, Always glad to be sending
- 21:22Speaker 4: the glad tidings of good news to those who want it.
- 21:27Speaker 4: I'm talking about scripture. You know that I have a
- 21:29Speaker 4: love for the Bible. You know, that's why we talk
- 21:31Speaker 4: about how do we live every day? And we look
- 21:33Speaker 4: to what Scripture to inform us as to how the
- 21:37Speaker 4: how we should be living. Stuff goes. That's just the
- 21:41Speaker 4: way it works. And I love this group of people.
- 21:44Speaker 4: What they do is remarkable and amazing and it's just
- 21:47Speaker 4: truly a blessing to people that come into contact with it.
- 21:50Speaker 4: Michael Wolworth is back with us, and Michael, I say
- 21:52Speaker 4: that with all earnestness and sincerity, what you guys do
- 21:56Speaker 4: is give a shot in the arm to people who
- 21:59Speaker 4: are converted to Christianity. They've given their heart and lives
- 22:02Speaker 4: to Jesus. They want to grow, They're hungry, they want
- 22:06Speaker 4: to know more about what their relationship to Jesus means
- 22:09Speaker 4: and how it operates, and what they're supposed to be
- 22:11Speaker 4: doing with it and all the rest of that. But
- 22:14Speaker 4: they live in areas where Bibles are depleted, Bibles are
- 22:17Speaker 4: not in fashion, Sometimes Bibles are banned. Sometimes Bibles are
- 22:21Speaker 4: not allowed for economic or geographical reasons because they can't
- 22:26Speaker 4: get there or they don't have the money to buy them.
- 22:28Speaker 4: These are bibles that they will not have otherwise. And
- 22:31Speaker 4: yet what happens when they get one. They explode in
- 22:36Speaker 4: need because they tell people about the good news that
- 22:38Speaker 4: the Bible has within it, and then more people come
- 22:40Speaker 4: to Jesus. So that's like really the kind of the thumbnail.
- 22:44Speaker 4: But when you think of Bible League and the impact
- 22:47Speaker 4: that you guys have had for eighty eight years, how
- 22:48Speaker 4: do you best summarize it?
- 22:50Speaker 8: Well, you know you and I are excited about church growth, right,
- 22:52Speaker 8: I mean we know that Jesus said, look in John four,
- 22:54Speaker 8: if I be lifted up, I'll draw the nations to myself.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Right.
- 22:57Speaker 8: How refreshing to take, you know, a little bit of
- 22:59Speaker 8: a break from the headlines of the day and be
- 23:01Speaker 8: reminded that God is at work in his world through
- 23:05Speaker 8: his word. Right as you say, Kevin, these are people
- 23:09Speaker 8: who have come to saving faith. Their hearts are full,
- 23:12Speaker 8: their hands are empty, though they're waiting for what the
- 23:14Speaker 8: precious Word have gone. And listen, that's what Bible League
- 23:17Speaker 8: has done for nearly ninety years. We don't drill wells.
- 23:20Speaker 8: We're not asking you to send medicine or help build
- 23:22Speaker 8: shelter today. All of those have their place in the
- 23:25Speaker 8: course of global ministry. But Bible League has been solely
- 23:28Speaker 8: committed to what again, putting these Bibles into empty waiting hands,
- 23:33Speaker 8: and seeing God at work bringing that joy to these believers.
- 23:36Speaker 8: As you say, Kevin, they often they always learn very
- 23:39Speaker 8: quickly Jesus is not to be kept to self.
- 23:42Speaker 3: He's to be shared with others.
- 23:44Speaker 8: And so you know, it's tempting to think, Okay, my
- 23:46Speaker 8: five dollars gift, what in the world will that accomplish
- 23:49Speaker 8: in this great, big world. But Kevin, so many of
- 23:51Speaker 8: the stories that we've shared over the years, even in
- 23:53Speaker 8: our time together today, it all started with just a Bible,
- 23:57Speaker 8: somebody able to share what's in that Bible. Gracious God
- 24:01Speaker 8: willing to bring people from the grips of spiritual darkness.
- 24:04Speaker 8: And Kevin, I know you and your family have personally
- 24:06Speaker 8: supported these campaigns over the years. Let me say people
- 24:10Speaker 8: like Miriam of the Bronx who have said today I'm
- 24:12Speaker 8: in at ten bibles. Steven of New York City said, Michael, Kevin,
- 24:16Speaker 8: count me in. I want to be a part of
- 24:17Speaker 8: this at a dozen Bibles. And that's how it gets done.
- 24:20Speaker 8: It's just again, caring groups of people who say, look,
- 24:23Speaker 8: I love my Bible. God has truly used his word
- 24:27Speaker 8: to bring me where I'm at today in my walk
- 24:29Speaker 8: with the Lord, and I simply want to give that
- 24:31Speaker 8: privilege to others. And again it happens at the princely
- 24:33Speaker 8: sum of only five dollars a Bible. And Kevin, as
- 24:36Speaker 8: you've been saying over and over again, we've got this
- 24:38Speaker 8: miracle multiplier a dozen of twelve. And we can tell
- 24:42Speaker 8: you a bibly now in our eighty eighth year of
- 24:44Speaker 8: ministry that on average Bible impacts a dozen waiting a
- 24:49Speaker 8: dozen people, people that are waiting to hear the hope
- 24:52Speaker 8: of the Gospel. And so make that gift today, whatever
- 24:54Speaker 8: level that is, Kevin and I can certainly suggest levels,
- 24:58Speaker 8: but it really is up to you and the Lord. Right,
- 25:00Speaker 8: Remember that multiplier of twelve, every five dollars gift will
- 25:03Speaker 8: impact a dozen people today and again, if you can
- 25:06Speaker 8: find a better Kingdom investment, go chase that today. But
- 25:09Speaker 8: if not, will you be a part of this today?
- 25:12Speaker 4: Yeah, one eight hundred yes word, one eight hundred yees word.
- 25:16Speaker 4: Or you can give online at that kevinshow dot com
- 25:19Speaker 4: and click the Bible League banner at the top of
- 25:21Speaker 4: the homepage. It's super simple to find. We're literally sending
- 25:25Speaker 4: Bibles everywhere that Bible League is working this year, Michael,
- 25:31Speaker 4: talk to me about the country of Malawi, because this
- 25:35Speaker 4: is not a place that we talk about very often.
- 25:37Speaker 8: Africa has the highest number of refugees, about fifty million
- 25:41Speaker 8: people displaced from the countries likely to never return right
- 25:44Speaker 8: They end up in places like the Zalika refugee camp
- 25:47Speaker 8: in Malawi, Africa. Kevin, this is a place where about
- 25:50Speaker 8: sixty thousand women, men and children have been packed into
- 25:53Speaker 8: a camp designed for about ten thousand.
- 25:55Speaker 3: It's chaos.
- 25:56Speaker 8: There's overcrowding, there's a poor sanitation, people get sick, they die,
- 26:00Speaker 8: There's people groups that hate each other, and so again,
- 26:03Speaker 8: total chaos. My colleague Nick went into that village, into
- 26:07Speaker 8: that camp. In that village, he said, this is when
- 26:09Speaker 8: I found Michael. When I visited there's Aleikua refugee camp
- 26:13Speaker 8: in Malawi, Africa.
- 26:15Speaker 13: Many of the people coming to the camp, many cases,
- 26:18Speaker 13: these women whose husbands had been killed, were obviously coming
- 26:21Speaker 13: in the most desperate circumstances, wondering how they're going to
- 26:25Speaker 13: look after their families, feed their children, and really feeling
- 26:28Speaker 13: completely hopeless and homeless. But what we discovered is that
- 26:32Speaker 13: many of them through the work that we've been able
- 26:35Speaker 13: to do, there are really finding hope. And some of
- 26:37Speaker 13: them were saying that the sort of lifelong aspiration now
- 26:40Speaker 13: is actually to stay in the camp as evangelists, to
- 26:43Speaker 13: which to me was remarkable.
- 26:45Speaker 8: Well let me yeah, let me tell you what God
- 26:47Speaker 8: has done there again through just ordinary listeners, people like
- 26:51Speaker 8: you and me. Right, churches in that area said look,
- 26:54Speaker 8: we've got to take the hope of the Gospel into
- 26:56Speaker 8: this place. They worked with biblely, we provide Bible studies.
- 26:59Speaker 8: They took these through people week by week through it. Kevin,
- 27:02Speaker 8: by the grace of God, I can tell you today
- 27:04Speaker 8: one thousand people have said yes to Jesus. One of
- 27:07Speaker 8: those merry him. A widow with three children, three, five
- 27:10Speaker 8: and seven. She desires to raise them in the ways
- 27:12Speaker 8: of the Lord. Hey, God's auld work a thousand people
- 27:15Speaker 8: to christ in Malawi, Africa.
- 27:17Speaker 4: And that means they need a thousand Bibles. Friends, which
- 27:19Speaker 4: if you had a five thousand dollars gift that you
- 27:21Speaker 4: could give right now, that's what you'd be able to
- 27:24Speaker 4: help supply. But even if you can't, even if we
- 27:26Speaker 4: just had ten people that did five hundred dollars each
- 27:29Speaker 4: or something along those lines. We'd still be able to
- 27:31Speaker 4: supply all those bibles. Friends, how many Bibles could you
- 27:34Speaker 4: do right now? Would you help us? Regardless of the
- 27:37Speaker 4: number that you can give financially, just divide that by five.
- 27:41Speaker 4: That's how many Bibles you're going to give. Multiply that
- 27:43Speaker 4: number times twelve. That's the number of people you're going
- 27:46Speaker 4: to reach right now. One eight hundred yes word, one
- 27:48Speaker 4: eight hundred yes word or go to that kevinshow dot
- 27:51Speaker 4: com click the Bible League banner at the top of
- 27:53Speaker 4: the page.
- 28:08Speaker 10: Here he is from New York exact Kevin. Kevin McCullough.
- 28:18Speaker 4: All right, welcome back. It's the Friday edition. Kevin McCullough.
- 28:21Speaker 4: Glad to have you with us. Bethany Mandel joins us
- 28:24Speaker 4: each week, usually on Fridays, and she's able to do
- 28:28Speaker 4: so once again this week. Bethany, I'm excited that the
- 28:33Speaker 4: President is making his case for voter integrity. I think
- 28:37Speaker 4: election integrity is important, and I'm hopeful that with the
- 28:42Speaker 4: speech last night, some pressure will be applied to John
- 28:46Speaker 4: Thune and others to get the Save America Act passed.
- 28:49Speaker 4: I want voter id I think it's a ninety ten
- 28:51Speaker 4: issue across the board. I'm hoping that that's not something
- 28:54Speaker 4: that has to linger any longer. But one of the
- 28:58Speaker 4: bigger things that people are going to be focusing on,
- 29:01Speaker 4: especially going into the weekend, is just what a hornet's
- 29:05Speaker 4: nest his re engagement in Iran is causing. And to
- 29:09Speaker 4: the degree that there are people like really sweating, you know,
- 29:14Speaker 4: is he going to cave in Pickaxe Mountain? Which is
- 29:17Speaker 4: a very important kind of nuclear site. But it seems
- 29:21Speaker 4: like for the first time he has the IRGC back
- 29:24Speaker 4: on their heels a little bit. That's why they're getting
- 29:26Speaker 4: so grouchy. That's why they're being so kind of contankerous publicly,
- 29:32Speaker 4: where they've kind of played it smooth and kind of
- 29:34Speaker 4: been like, will negotiate, And I think he's he's finished
- 29:37Speaker 4: all that, and it's it's it's starting to take notice,
- 29:40Speaker 4: what are your thoughts?
- 29:43Speaker 2: So it definitely seems like he's he's at his wits
- 29:46Speaker 2: end with with Iran. I think that he's he's walking
- 29:50Speaker 2: a really delicate tightrope. I've been reading a World War
- 29:54Speaker 2: II history book and so I'm feeling a lot of
- 29:56Speaker 2: parallels right now with FDR and the lead up to
- 29:59Speaker 2: World War two, whereas he he also walked a tight
- 30:02Speaker 2: rope of you know, not wanting to to anger Congress
- 30:07Speaker 2: and not wanting to rock the vote and lose his
- 30:09Speaker 2: mandate in Congress right before the election. And I think
- 30:13Speaker 2: having six dollars a gallon gas would do that to
- 30:16Speaker 2: to Republicans coming up into the midterms. But he also
- 30:19Speaker 2: recognizes that he needs to take care of this problem.
- 30:22Speaker 2: And so you know, I didn't love the Memorandum of Understanding,
- 30:26Speaker 2: but I think that.
- 30:26Speaker 4: I think it but they couldn't even live up to
- 30:30Speaker 4: that and it was pretty it was like weak toast.
- 30:33Speaker 2: So I mean, I think it was I think it
- 30:37Speaker 2: was serving a purpose to try to kick the can
- 30:39Speaker 2: down the road just a little bit, to see how
- 30:42Speaker 2: how far we could get to the midterms point.
- 30:45Speaker 14: And so that's what I hope that the.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Intention was of the very terrible Memorandum of Understanding, because
- 30:52Speaker 2: the can can't keep getting kicked. And I think that
- 30:54Speaker 2: President Trump is a unique president in recognizing that. And
- 30:59Speaker 2: you know, I think back to almost two years ago
- 31:00Speaker 2: exactly that Pivel moment in Butler, Pennsylvania where God intervened,
- 31:05Speaker 2: and I think that this moment is why God intervened
- 31:09Speaker 2: it in Baler, Pennsylvania.
- 31:10Speaker 4: Well, and I think I agree with all that. And
- 31:13Speaker 4: I think that also, you know, he has said all along,
- 31:18Speaker 4: you want to lose your power plants, you want to
- 31:21Speaker 4: lose your bridges. We can do this. We don't want
- 31:23Speaker 4: to do it. We don't want to hurt you know,
- 31:25Speaker 4: the average Iranian. But if the IRGC is going to continue,
- 31:30Speaker 4: if the regime is going to continue to play the games,
- 31:33Speaker 4: and I know that they sat there and thought, this
- 31:36Speaker 4: guy isn't any different than all the other guys, and
- 31:39Speaker 4: all we have to do is bait and switch him
- 31:42Speaker 4: a few times, get him into a protracted waiting game,
- 31:45Speaker 4: and he's just not playing the game the way everybody
- 31:48Speaker 4: else did.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's that's the beauty of Donald Trump, is
- 31:52Speaker 2: that he's the mess around and find out president. You
- 31:55Speaker 2: never know what he's going to do. And I think
- 31:58Speaker 2: what he did in Venezuela show that the fact that
- 32:01Speaker 2: the first night of this conflict, he took out, you know,
- 32:04Speaker 2: the entire head of the of the snake in Iran,
- 32:09Speaker 2: and it would be foolish and suicidal for them to
- 32:13Speaker 2: underestimate what he's willing and capable of doing. But this
- 32:16Speaker 2: is a suicidal, foolish regime, so I guess anything is possible.
- 32:20Speaker 4: Well, and I think that's where you're seeing the supposed
- 32:25Speaker 4: hornets and nests that he that people perceive that he
- 32:27Speaker 4: feels like he's in even though he doesn't want to
- 32:30Speaker 4: do it. You know, he's now following through on some
- 32:33Speaker 4: of the things he said from the very beginning, we
- 32:36Speaker 4: can do these things, we don't want to do these things.
- 32:39Speaker 4: Don't make me do these things. And they sat there
- 32:41Speaker 4: and said, you'll never do those.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Things right, right, And You're like, have we met have
- 32:45Speaker 2: you seen anything that I've ever done?
- 32:49Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 32:49Speaker 2: This is this is the thing I love about. And
- 32:51Speaker 2: it's like the thing that I hated about him actually
- 32:54Speaker 2: before he became president and why I was so apprehensive
- 32:57Speaker 2: about his nomination when you know, first go around in
- 33:00Speaker 2: twenty sixteen.
- 33:01Speaker 4: I remember we were friendsz he could do what, he
- 33:04Speaker 4: could do.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Anything, And now in twenty six twenty twenty six, I'm like,
- 33:08Speaker 2: he could do anything. I feel very differently about that
- 33:12Speaker 2: sentence because I know that the anything is almost always
- 33:15Speaker 2: a good thing.
- 33:16Speaker 4: Well, and I think that some things are going to
- 33:18Speaker 4: be different going forward from this point. I think he's
- 33:20Speaker 4: going to like the Block eight is working differently. They're
- 33:24Speaker 4: actually shooting Iranian ships now and saying you're done, but
- 33:29Speaker 4: they're letting others get out, like some of the ones
- 33:32Speaker 4: that need to be done for oil purposes for Europe
- 33:36Speaker 4: and for Asia not related to Iran. They're allowing that.
- 33:41Speaker 4: So I've seen the gas prices inch up a little bit,
- 33:44Speaker 4: not terribly just yet. And I think, I guess my
- 33:49Speaker 4: advice would be, if you really think that there's no
- 33:52Speaker 4: hope of getting a negotiated settlement, Katie bar the door, baby,
- 33:56Speaker 4: go get them. And you know, look, we've probably got
- 33:59Speaker 4: what tenth massad agents in Iran somewhere tracking all these
- 34:03Speaker 4: guys just in their sleep one night, Crystal knocked in reverse.
- 34:08Speaker 4: Just go get them, Just take out every single one
- 34:10Speaker 4: of them as they sleep, and in the next you know,
- 34:13Speaker 4: the next morning, Hey, how did the whole How did
- 34:15Speaker 4: the entire IRGC get assassinated one night? Well that's our secret,
- 34:20Speaker 4: but that may be what it takes. I don't know
- 34:22Speaker 4: that there's going to be any other option.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I agree. I think that given what happened
- 34:28Speaker 2: in a Rock, I think no one wants to get
- 34:30Speaker 2: in the business of regime teams, and I agree with that,
- 34:33Speaker 2: and I support that we don't. We don't want to
- 34:35Speaker 2: break it because then we have to buy it, and
- 34:37Speaker 2: that's what we had to do in Afghanistan in a rock.
- 34:40Speaker 2: But I think that it might get to that point.
- 34:43Speaker 2: The difference between a rock and and Iran is the
- 34:47Speaker 2: fact that the people want this. The people are waiting,
- 34:51Speaker 2: and I had hoped that they would, they would stand
- 34:53Speaker 2: up and you know, kick him while he was down,
- 34:56Speaker 2: but that hasn't happened yet, I hope.
- 34:58Speaker 4: But if you don't have guns, yep, and you don't
- 35:01Speaker 4: have the power to do that, you can want it
- 35:03Speaker 4: all all day long in your heart, but if it's
- 35:06Speaker 4: not there, it's not there.
- 35:07Speaker 2: I mean, I hope that they can start gun running.
- 35:10Speaker 2: Let's bring in the Mexican cartels.
- 35:13Speaker 4: Where's Ali North when you need him?
- 35:16Speaker 3: Exactly?
- 35:17Speaker 1: All right?
- 35:18Speaker 4: Very bad, very bad historical reference, Kevin, shame on me.
- 35:22Speaker 4: All right, Well, no more of that, Bethany, thank you
- 35:24Speaker 4: for your insights, and let's pray for a successful conclusion
- 35:28Speaker 4: to this sooner than possible, sooner than later, as soon
- 35:31Speaker 4: as possible, because we do want the Iranian people, we
- 35:34Speaker 4: want the whole region to be at peace, and I
- 35:36Speaker 4: think this would be a good first step anyway. Thank
- 35:39Speaker 4: you for being with us.
- 35:39Speaker 5: Thank Kevin, you got it.
- 35:41Speaker 4: Kelvin mckella coming back, We've got a lot more to
- 35:43Speaker 4: get to. It's the Friday edition.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Don't go anywhere.
- 35:47Speaker 3: Let's stick around for more of that.
- 35:49Speaker 15: Kevin next, serving it up with a no drink minim.
- 36:06Speaker 3: It's that cabin of the show.
- 36:09Speaker 2: I am Lisbeth. I am ten years old and live
- 36:12Speaker 2: in Peru with my mom and sisters.
- 36:14Speaker 1: My dad died last year.
- 36:16Speaker 2: We would like a Bible to read every day when
- 36:19Speaker 2: we wake up.
- 36:20Speaker 4: Thank you Lizabeth in her wonderfully almost totally pure English,
- 36:26Speaker 4: but telling the story of what she and her mom
- 36:28Speaker 4: are dealing with. And I know that for myself. Friends,
- 36:33Speaker 4: when I've had some of the darkest times of life
- 36:36Speaker 4: visited upon us, it has been through the pages of
- 36:38Speaker 4: Scripture that I have been most encouraged and I have
- 36:41Speaker 4: grown through those seasons, even though they have had sometimes
- 36:45Speaker 4: very sad or very dark chapters. Michael Woolworth, as we
- 36:49Speaker 4: round out this hour, that is the great gift that
- 36:51Speaker 4: we're giving everyone. We're not machines. We don't live the
- 36:56Speaker 4: same every day. We have good days, we have bad days.
- 36:59Speaker 4: The war of God, though, is there for every day,
- 37:02Speaker 4: and it does give us that encouragement to keep going.
- 37:05Speaker 8: Well, when you know the phone phone's a little like Kevin,
- 37:08Speaker 8: you bring out the big guns in the form of
- 37:10Speaker 8: a ten year old Elizabeth. Right with that, how about
- 37:13Speaker 8: that wonderful plea right, let me tell you about the
- 37:15Speaker 8: man that reached her. Carlo and I tener at pastor
- 37:18Speaker 8: in the Andyes Mountains. You know this woman, this young
- 37:21Speaker 8: gal Elizabeth, lives in the country of Peru. Her father
- 37:24Speaker 8: died about a year ago. She mentioned that in the
- 37:26Speaker 8: clip right, it was ill never recovered from that that
- 37:28Speaker 8: left her mother a widow with four young daughters. E
- 37:31Speaker 8: Lizabeth part of the mix there at ten years of age, right,
- 37:34Speaker 8: and she's not asking for our pity today. She's thinking
- 37:36Speaker 8: about the God who loves us. And so that pastor
- 37:39Speaker 8: has been Carlo has been beaten by warlocks, male witches right,
- 37:44Speaker 8: who have fiercely opposed the Gospel. He's fallen one hundred
- 37:47Speaker 8: feet in the Andyes Mountains, been robbed of everything in
- 37:49Speaker 8: his possession. But again, he does all of this to
- 37:52Speaker 8: the glory of Gone and to reach precious families like
- 37:55Speaker 8: that of Young Elizabeth. And so you know, we're grateful
- 37:57Speaker 8: for people like Carlo and Kevin. We're great full of
- 38:00Speaker 8: people like Miriam of the Bronx who said I'm in
- 38:03Speaker 8: I want to bless people like young Elizabeth with God's word.
- 38:06Speaker 8: Today Steven of New York City said, Michael, Kevin count
- 38:09Speaker 8: me in at a dozen Bibles. And so again you
- 38:12Speaker 8: and I are doing. Kevin is just really drilling down
- 38:16Speaker 8: different parts of the world. I love to say, no passport,
- 38:18Speaker 8: require no jet lag tomorrow morning, right, But to give
- 38:20Speaker 8: you a glimpse into what God is doing in all
- 38:23Speaker 8: of this, pointing to what our ultimate goal as we've
- 38:26Speaker 8: joined together to bless just north of ten thousand waiting believers.
- 38:30Speaker 8: A couple of those as we go to break here
- 38:33Speaker 8: Rohan and India, a former Hindu when he became a believer,
- 38:37Speaker 8: radicalized Hindus at his village, beating nearly to death. But
- 38:40Speaker 8: more than anything, he's praying for a Bible. Luis is
- 38:43Speaker 8: in Ecuador, neighboring to Peru. There one of those again,
- 38:47Speaker 8: another one of those reached by Pastor Carlo. Now Luis
- 38:50Speaker 8: is what as if former crime boss was part of
- 38:52Speaker 8: the drug cartel down there, did a serious jail time,
- 38:55Speaker 8: but he was reached by Carlo behind prison walls. Today
- 38:58Speaker 8: he's a free man and he is ministering in that
- 39:01Speaker 8: part of the world, praying for a Bible in the
- 39:04Speaker 8: ancient Keechwell language. So again, Kevin, that's why we're here.
- 39:06Speaker 8: It's five dollars Bible and the question remains, how many
- 39:10Speaker 8: will you send today?
- 39:12Speaker 4: Well, right now, one eight hundred yes word. You can
- 39:15Speaker 4: call that number and give those bibles. One eight hundred
- 39:18Speaker 4: yes word, one eight hundred y e s word. Can
- 39:21Speaker 4: also give online at that kevinshow dot com. Click the
- 39:24Speaker 4: banner at the top of the page. The Bible League
- 39:26Speaker 4: banner that kevinshow dot com. Click the banner at the
- 39:29Speaker 4: top of the page. But I will just say that
- 39:32Speaker 4: what you give right now will make an absolute difference,
- 39:35Speaker 4: because the one thing that all of the recipients of
- 39:38Speaker 4: these Bibles have in common is that they have a
- 39:41Speaker 4: need in their heart to learn more about Jesus. They
- 39:46Speaker 4: have a desire in their heart and mind and soul
- 39:49Speaker 4: in life to be a more fully devoted follower to Him.
- 39:53Speaker 4: They know that scripture is the key to that, and
- 39:56Speaker 4: yet they are That's the one thing they are without
- 40:00Speaker 4: maybe without a number of other things, but when it
- 40:02Speaker 4: comes to what they need for that relationship to be
- 40:06Speaker 4: turned into a discipleship scenario, they need scripture. They are
- 40:11Speaker 4: desperate for the scripture. They want the scripture, but they
- 40:14Speaker 4: don't have access to it. That's what they all have
- 40:16Speaker 4: in common, and we can we can satisfy that need
- 40:20Speaker 4: today by just going and dialing the number one eight
- 40:23Speaker 4: hundred yes word, one eight hundred yees word, or go
- 40:27Speaker 4: to that Kevinshow dot com, that kevinshow dot com and
- 40:31Speaker 4: click the Bible League banner at the top of the page.
- 40:34Speaker 4: Kevin McCullough coming right back.
- 40:35Speaker 16: Don't go anywhere.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Somewhere in the vowels of the city that Never sleeps.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Kevin McCullough, radio host with sailor Medium.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Is a man also not sleeping.
- 40:57Speaker 3: Okay, radio shows Kevin and and.
- 41:00Speaker 1: That guy would like a word review.
- 41:03Speaker 4: Many of you know him from as looks for Damas.
- 41:05Speaker 3: Of course, that Kevin Show is going to be great.
- 41:07Speaker 5: The only thing that could be greater, of course, would
- 41:09Speaker 5: be that Donald Show.
- 41:10Speaker 1: But we don't have that.
- 41:10Speaker 5: So we have that Kevin.
- 41:12Speaker 6: Show featuring the music of Dick Tunney and the Dream
- 41:16Speaker 6: in color orchestra, straight ahead, everything you need to know
- 41:30Speaker 6: about the top headlines of the day and a perspective
- 41:33Speaker 6: that will give you some eternity to it. Plus practical
- 41:37Speaker 6: tips for family life, spiritual life, and good old regular life.
- 41:43Speaker 6: It's Kenen McCullough Monday through Friday on That Kevin Show
- 41:54Speaker 6: and Now from the Connors in Sullivan Broadcast Studios. The
- 41:58Speaker 6: man who is not what he wants used to be, but.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Is way grateful that is not who he used to be.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Hear Kevin, Hell.
- 42:10Speaker 4: I'm glad to have you with us. We are immens
- 42:13Speaker 4: to bring something exciting. I think it's one of the
- 42:16Speaker 4: most important things that we do every year, and that
- 42:19Speaker 4: is to simply put Bibles into the hands of those
- 42:21Speaker 4: who don't have them, who desperately want them. And I
- 42:26Speaker 4: don't I don't use that word lightly. I think desperation
- 42:29Speaker 4: is a is an important thing. When people are desperate,
- 42:32Speaker 4: they do sometimes dangerous things. We think of desperate people
- 42:36Speaker 4: and going to desperate measures. But when you when you
- 42:39Speaker 4: talk about the heart of people that truly long for something,
- 42:44Speaker 4: the Christians that we are helping get copies of the
- 42:47Speaker 4: scriptures too, I just desperation is what they feel because
- 42:52Speaker 4: they want to have God's word that they can put
- 42:56Speaker 4: into their life, put into their heart and pass on
- 42:58Speaker 4: to others. That's why we partner with the Bible League,
- 43:02Speaker 4: and I the very first day of this campaign, I've
- 43:05Speaker 4: already heard from one person who mocked it a little bit.
- 43:08Speaker 4: I understand that there's not going to be There's going
- 43:11Speaker 4: to be some of you that are just not going
- 43:12Speaker 4: to understand what we're doing here. That's okay. God's bigger
- 43:16Speaker 4: than you, and he's bigger than this cause, and he
- 43:17Speaker 4: understands that what we're doing is hugely important because it
- 43:22Speaker 4: is that vital Michael Wolworth is back with us from
- 43:26Speaker 4: Bible League, and Michael, I have a couple, not many,
- 43:30Speaker 4: but I have a couple of cynical people that listen
- 43:34Speaker 4: to the show and they regularly weigh in on the
- 43:37Speaker 4: negativity of anything that they can find to try to
- 43:41Speaker 4: and they said something like Kevin's trying to sell Bibles,
- 43:44Speaker 4: like it's like it's Russia and the Soviet Union in
- 43:47Speaker 4: the nineteen eighties. Now, I don't know anything about like
- 43:51Speaker 4: what the nineteen eighties and the Soviet Union was like,
- 43:53Speaker 4: so I don't even know if that's a fair comparison
- 43:56Speaker 4: or not. But when you diminished the idea that people
- 44:01Speaker 4: who want to have access to the scriptures don't get it,
- 44:06Speaker 4: and you're okay with that, Like you're okay with that,
- 44:10Speaker 4: you don't know much about number one, the belief of
- 44:13Speaker 4: these people and how vibrant it is and how deep
- 44:16Speaker 4: it runs, And you don't know the real joy that
- 44:19Speaker 4: comes from the pages of scriptures themselves. And I think
- 44:22Speaker 4: that one of the things that I hope we can
- 44:25Speaker 4: ask people to tap into as they're thinking about giving
- 44:28Speaker 4: Bibles this year, is that I would ask every person
- 44:31Speaker 4: that knows that the Bible is true and in their
- 44:35Speaker 4: own heart has helped them see answers to prayer and
- 44:39Speaker 4: guidance through its pages, that they would step up and say, Okay,
- 44:43Speaker 4: we're not going to let the cynics shout out the
- 44:47Speaker 4: needs drown out the needs of those that desperately and
- 44:51Speaker 4: I use that word unapologetically desperately want a copy of
- 44:54Speaker 4: the text for themselves. You've actually traveled to some of
- 44:57Speaker 4: these places, Michael, And aside from our what we were
- 45:00Speaker 4: going to talk about here, I just want to get
- 45:01Speaker 4: your thoughts real quick at the beginning. These people are
- 45:06Speaker 4: genuine that want scripture. This is one of the most
- 45:08Speaker 4: earnest wants that a human has ever wanted.
- 45:11Speaker 8: Well, we're filling heart, you know, we're feeding heart hungry believers, Kevin,
- 45:16Speaker 8: That's what we're doing today, right, heart hungry believers who
- 45:19Speaker 8: have come to saving faith. Right, somebody in their village said,
- 45:22Speaker 8: come learn about Jesus. They went through a weekly Bible
- 45:25Speaker 8: study from Bibly. We have been doing that for more
- 45:28Speaker 8: than eighty eight years, right, and then at the end
- 45:30Speaker 8: of that studies they say, I want to follow Jesus. Right,
- 45:32Speaker 8: I need to follow Jesus, leaving all the isms of
- 45:35Speaker 8: the world, if you will. They need a Bible what
- 45:38Speaker 8: to grow in grace? And so their hearts are full,
- 45:40Speaker 8: why they're members of our spiritual family. But those hands,
- 45:43Speaker 8: they're empty. They're waiting for God's word. And so yeah, Kevin,
- 45:47Speaker 8: I have travel, we have friends that fund those trips.
- 45:49Speaker 8: And let's linger for a moment in right here in
- 45:52Speaker 8: the northern hemisphere, right, I want to take you to
- 45:54Speaker 8: Porter Prince Haiti talk about what's happening down there right now.
- 45:58Speaker 8: You know there's gang violence that is tied to the
- 46:01Speaker 8: drug cartels. They pretty much run the show the police,
- 46:03Speaker 8: the military have told people like my colleague building with
- 46:07Speaker 8: Bible League down there in Haiti, they've said, look, we
- 46:09Speaker 8: can't protect you. You're pretty much on your own build.
- 46:12Speaker 8: It talks about where that's brought them as they go
- 46:15Speaker 8: out and the minister, they wonder, is this my final week?
- 46:19Speaker 8: This is my colleague building he is in Porter Prince, Haiti.
- 46:22Speaker 17: It's so sad because you can see violence everywhere. If
- 46:27Speaker 17: day when I go, I say God is my last day?
- 46:31Speaker 17: Every day it's my last day. When my wife decided
- 46:35Speaker 17: to go, it's so sad to say that if her
- 46:39Speaker 17: last day, I don't know. When I go to the office,
- 46:41Speaker 17: I go somewhere to do some training. We do have governments.
- 46:45Speaker 17: They can decide to stop that.
- 46:47Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a big deal.
- 46:48Speaker 8: And when the government can't protect you, you're pretty much
- 46:51Speaker 8: on your own. Kevin, there's the misunderstanding that Christians have
- 46:54Speaker 8: access to a lot of money. It simply is not true.
- 46:57Speaker 8: They live in extreme poverty. The minister from a place
- 47:01Speaker 8: of at least a material poverty. Right, Spiritually they're rich.
- 47:05Speaker 8: But you know there's a church that utilized study materials
- 47:08Speaker 8: in Bibles that you know this family has sent in
- 47:11Speaker 8: the past, and one of the deacons and his wife
- 47:14Speaker 8: were kidnapped, right, They were held for ransom. When the
- 47:16Speaker 8: ransom could not be paid, they actually murdered the deacon.
- 47:20Speaker 8: They let the wife go, knowing that payment would not come.
- 47:22Speaker 8: But you know that hits home for us. And you know,
- 47:25Speaker 8: I asked Bill, I said, building no Bible. He's ad
- 47:27Speaker 8: a robust ministry in Haiti for many, many years. I said,
- 47:30Speaker 8: you know, how do you stay encouraged in the midst
- 47:32Speaker 8: of all that violence?
- 47:33Speaker 10: Right?
- 47:34Speaker 8: He said, Michael, two things. Number One, my wife and me,
- 47:37Speaker 8: we love Haitian creole cooking. He said, we will gather
- 47:40Speaker 8: people in a large party. Will will celebrate with lots
- 47:43Speaker 8: of food. He said, that's the first thing we do.
- 47:45Speaker 3: He said.
- 47:45Speaker 8: The second thing is we've learned to celebrate what God
- 47:48Speaker 8: is doing. I said, build a tell me how many
- 47:51Speaker 8: people in recent months have come to Christ and Kevin
- 47:53Speaker 8: I could hear him on the call kind of tagulating.
- 47:56Speaker 8: He came back on. He said, Michael, nine hundred and
- 47:58Speaker 8: thirty two people have said yes to Jesus through the
- 48:01Speaker 8: Bible League study in the last few months. He said, Michael,
- 48:04Speaker 8: isn't that you know in light of all the gang violence, right,
- 48:07Speaker 8: the kidnappings, the ransoms that can't be paid, and then
- 48:10Speaker 8: harm comes to these believers. He said, isn't that amazing
- 48:13Speaker 8: that God's truly at work. I mean, that's something that
- 48:16Speaker 8: we all pray for. And Kevin, it's happening in places
- 48:20Speaker 8: like Porta Prince, Haiti and so again, people like a build.
- 48:24Speaker 8: The believers down there are not asking for our pity,
- 48:26Speaker 8: They're not praying for our protections. What they're praying for
- 48:28Speaker 8: is what the precious word of God. I love the
- 48:31Speaker 8: specific number that he gave, nine hundred and thirty two.
- 48:34Speaker 8: People have said yes to Jesus again. They're praying for
- 48:37Speaker 8: the Bible two languages French and then Haitian Creole. And Kevin,
- 48:40Speaker 8: that's why we've gathered to do this kingdom work today.
- 48:43Speaker 4: Well, and to supply the nine hundred and thirty two Bibles.
- 48:48Speaker 4: If you just did that real quickly, it's about forty
- 48:51Speaker 4: six hundred dollars. And friends, maybe one of you operate
- 48:55Speaker 4: a company that you're looking to really make a difference
- 48:58Speaker 4: in how your company allocates it's charitable. Giving a forty
- 49:01Speaker 4: six hundred dollars gift to Bible League would help those
- 49:05Speaker 4: nine hundred and thirty believers receive a Bible. And then
- 49:08Speaker 4: if you take that number and understand that for every
- 49:12Speaker 4: Bible that's given, there's a miracle multiplier of twelve, that
- 49:17Speaker 4: could lead to the eventual salvation of eleven thousand, one
- 49:20Speaker 4: hundred and sixty people just from the one Bible League
- 49:25Speaker 4: study that has been done with these, with these people
- 49:28Speaker 4: who are now believers, you could eventually end up impacting
- 49:31Speaker 4: eleven thousand people for the cause of Christ. And maybe
- 49:35Speaker 4: you can't do anywhere near that a gift of any size.
- 49:38Speaker 4: Right now, Divide it by five, that's how many Bibles
- 49:41Speaker 4: you give. Multiply it by twelve. That's the number of
- 49:43Speaker 4: people that you're going to impact when you do that.
- 49:47Speaker 4: So here's the number. One eight hundred yes word, one
- 49:49Speaker 4: eight hundred yees word. It's also very easy, super simple
- 49:53Speaker 4: to just give through the website that kevinshow dot com,
- 49:56Speaker 4: that kevinshow dot com, the Bible League banners at the
- 49:59Speaker 4: top of the pay You can't miss it, that kevinshow
- 50:02Speaker 4: dot com. Click the Bible League banner because we just
- 50:07Speaker 4: don't want to leave off one person of these ten
- 50:09Speaker 4: thousand Bibles that can be reached this year, and we're
- 50:13Speaker 4: gonna We're gonna ask you unapologetically to do this without
- 50:17Speaker 4: any hesitation, because giving the Bible to people is one
- 50:20Speaker 4: of the most important things we can do. Eight hundred
- 50:23Speaker 4: yes word one, eight hundred y E S W O
- 50:25Speaker 4: R D. I'm Kevin McCollough.
- 50:27Speaker 9: Stay with us.
- 50:54Speaker 3: Here he is from New York. Exact Kevin. I'm McCullough.
- 51:02Speaker 4: Something I have you with this, it's that Kevin Show,
- 51:04Speaker 4: that Kevin Show dot com. You know, one of the
- 51:07Speaker 4: things that I am always harping on from this microphone
- 51:10Speaker 4: is the energy crisis that is America's future. And you
- 51:15Speaker 4: may think, well, I've got gas in my car, and
- 51:18Speaker 4: I've got a filling station down the road, and my
- 51:22Speaker 4: electric bill is higher this summer, but I'm paying it.
- 51:25Speaker 4: Where's the crisis? Well, do you like paying the prices
- 51:28Speaker 4: that you're paying Currently? We've got an energy crisis, and
- 51:32Speaker 4: we've got one developing in a way that I don't
- 51:35Speaker 4: think everyone is really cognizant of. We are going to
- 51:39Speaker 4: have an increased burden to produce energy than we've ever
- 51:43Speaker 4: had before, and if we hope to even come close
- 51:47Speaker 4: in the battle for the future, we have to have
- 51:51Speaker 4: a lot more. That's where I'm excited to start this
- 51:55Speaker 4: conversation with Mark Mukija, who is back with us from
- 51:59Speaker 4: Elegal Nuclear and you can find them on the exchange
- 52:03Speaker 4: at n UCL. That's their stock. They've gone public since
- 52:06Speaker 4: we last spoke with Mark. But Mark, there's so much
- 52:09Speaker 4: that I'm not understating any of this, am I. I mean,
- 52:14Speaker 4: between data centers, global conflicts like Iran and other things.
- 52:19Speaker 4: Energy is not as abundant as we would like it
- 52:22Speaker 4: to be in in usable forms. And I've always argued
- 52:26Speaker 4: that nuclear is really the ultimate kind of power play.
- 52:31Speaker 4: That's why we have it in our aircraft carriers, that's
- 52:33Speaker 4: why we have it in our jets. We seem to
- 52:36Speaker 4: understand that there's a certain degree of ability to use
- 52:39Speaker 4: this energy in a way that is highly efficient and
- 52:44Speaker 4: respects the environment. I might add at the same time,
- 52:47Speaker 4: but tell me what you think in terms of what
- 52:50Speaker 4: our outlook is energy wise for the US.
- 52:52Speaker 18: Kevin, It's great to be back, and yeah, the outlook
- 52:55Speaker 18: for energy is that we're going to need a whole
- 52:57Speaker 18: heck of a lot more of it. You know, we
- 53:00Speaker 18: just had another record year of electricity consumption, and you
- 53:04Speaker 18: nailed it. It's because of things like AI and data
- 53:08Speaker 18: centers and cryptocurrency. That's not to mention all these humanoid
- 53:12Speaker 18: robots that we're going to see coming into our lives
- 53:15Speaker 18: and the near future. So energy demand isn't going anywhere,
- 53:19Speaker 18: it's only going to be rising, and with these geopolitical
- 53:22Speaker 18: tensions that are happening around the world, it's just going
- 53:25Speaker 18: to be.
- 53:25Speaker 14: Harder and harder to get the fuel for that energy.
- 53:28Speaker 4: And there's a competition to get the fuel for energy.
- 53:32Speaker 4: Talk to me about the global picture. Who is trying
- 53:35Speaker 4: to corner what aspects of energy production globally?
- 53:38Speaker 14: Yeah, for sure, it's your usual suspects.
- 53:40Speaker 5: Right.
- 53:41Speaker 18: You're seeing just an absolutely massive buildout for energy in China.
- 53:47Speaker 14: So they're building a whole heck of a lot more reactors.
- 53:50Speaker 4: They're not being clean about it. They're burning coal for
- 53:53Speaker 4: almost all of those new power plants.
- 53:55Speaker 18: Yeah, they are essentially building a new coal plant a week.
- 53:58Speaker 18: But they've also smartened up to the fact that there's
- 54:02Speaker 18: no power like nuclear energy, and they're building a lot
- 54:05Speaker 18: of nuclear power plants as well, and they're starting to
- 54:08Speaker 18: build them faster than ever before as well.
- 54:10Speaker 14: They're starting to.
- 54:11Speaker 18: Realize that the capacity factor from nuclear is higher than
- 54:14Speaker 18: everything else. So with that build up, they're starting to
- 54:18Speaker 18: get their eyes on where to get that feel from.
- 54:20Speaker 18: So you're starting to see them make equity investments into
- 54:25Speaker 18: uranium companies in Africa and in other parts of the
- 54:28Speaker 18: world because they don't produce much uranium themselves, but they
- 54:32Speaker 18: realize the power that you can get from these nuclear reactors.
- 54:37Speaker 4: Now they're not the only ones I heard that recently.
- 54:39Speaker 4: India is looking at trying to corner some markets as well.
- 54:42Speaker 18: For sure, India is doing a massive nuclear buildout as well.
- 54:46Speaker 18: They want to get to one hundred gigawatts by twenty
- 54:49Speaker 18: fifty and that's the same as we have in the
- 54:52Speaker 18: United States right now. Again, China doesn't produce much uranium,
- 54:56Speaker 18: but they're starting to sign deals with Canada and with Australia.
- 55:00Speaker 14: Those are sources of American uranium right now. And when
- 55:04Speaker 14: they're going to.
- 55:05Speaker 18: Market and signing these contracts, that means that there's less
- 55:08Speaker 18: available in the market for US.
- 55:10Speaker 4: Right Recently, I sent a nee blast to my subscribers
- 55:14Speaker 4: and I was telling them about the good work that
- 55:17Speaker 4: Eagle is doing. But part of what you guys have
- 55:20Speaker 4: in terms of a huge advantage is access to actual uranium.
- 55:24Speaker 4: Talk about the store, the supply that you guys have
- 55:28Speaker 4: access to.
- 55:28Speaker 18: Yeah, so we have the largest mineable, measured and indicated
- 55:32Speaker 18: uranium deposit in the United States. On an unconstrained basis,
- 55:36Speaker 18: there's fifty million pounds of uranium there.
- 55:38Speaker 4: What does that mean? I mean, because it's kind of
- 55:40Speaker 4: like gobbledegook, like it's, okay, fifty gazillion, bajillion whatevers, But
- 55:44Speaker 4: what does that translate to practically?
- 55:46Speaker 18: So practically it translates into one year of supply for
- 55:52Speaker 18: the United States. There's ninety four reactors in the country.
- 55:55Speaker 18: They consume roughly fifty million pounds of uranium per year.
- 55:59Speaker 5: Wow.
- 55:59Speaker 18: In last year, though, the United States only produced roughly
- 56:03Speaker 18: two point one million pounds of uranium, and in twenty
- 56:06Speaker 18: twenty four it was only six hundred and seventy seven
- 56:08Speaker 18: thousand pounds. When you think of an energy source like nuclear,
- 56:11Speaker 18: where you know we're getting eighteen percent of the nation's
- 56:14Speaker 18: electricity from nuclear, you know that's from those ninety four reactors.
- 56:19Speaker 18: We're not producing very much uranium to power those reactors.
- 56:23Speaker 18: And I see that as a great problem, a strategic threat.
- 56:27Speaker 4: To be honest, well, you're not only you not only
- 56:32Speaker 4: have access to raw material, but you're also kind of
- 56:35Speaker 4: on the cutting edge of what are called SMRs. Talk
- 56:39Speaker 4: to us about that piece of the picture.
- 56:41Speaker 18: Yeah, absolutely, And SMRs are the small modular reactors, and
- 56:47Speaker 18: what we see with them is just an opportunity to
- 56:49Speaker 18: address this energy crisis that we're in. You know, you're
- 56:54Speaker 18: able to deploy them in remote locations for military outposts,
- 57:00Speaker 18: you know, mind Sight's places of that nature, and they
- 57:03Speaker 18: provide that carbon free electricity where it's maybe harder to
- 57:08Speaker 18: get that power in the first place. So you're going
- 57:10Speaker 18: to see a lot more SMRs come in the future
- 57:13Speaker 18: to handle this incremental power demand that we're seeing. And
- 57:17Speaker 18: you know, these new reactors, these new SMRs are the
- 57:20Speaker 18: genfore variety, meaning that they're walk away safe, they can
- 57:24Speaker 18: be assembled in a factory, they cost a lot less
- 57:28Speaker 18: than building a traditional power plant. So we're going to
- 57:31Speaker 18: see a lot more growth in that sector coming as well.
- 57:34Speaker 18: And we want to be a part of that where
- 57:36Speaker 18: strong believers in nuclear. So not only do we have
- 57:39Speaker 18: the uranium in the ground, but also proprietary SMR technology
- 57:43Speaker 18: as well to build that integrated nuclear company.
- 57:46Speaker 14: You know, we want to provide.
- 57:47Speaker 1: Purpose of that.
- 57:48Speaker 4: The reason I want to emphasize that for those of
- 57:51Speaker 4: you listening and watching is that nuclear is way safer
- 57:55Speaker 4: than what we used to think of it as. And
- 57:58Speaker 4: that's where these SMRs really come into play. And talk
- 58:02Speaker 4: to me about their efficiency, because I keep hearing a
- 58:04Speaker 4: stat where when they run in low power, what they
- 58:08Speaker 4: are able to accomplish is pretty amazing. Just lay that
- 58:11Speaker 4: on us.
- 58:12Speaker 18: Yeah, for sure, And just when it comes to our
- 58:13Speaker 18: technology in general, our microreactor design, their output is rated
- 58:18Speaker 18: at three point three megawatts electric, So what that can
- 58:22Speaker 18: do is power three thousand homes at full power. But
- 58:25Speaker 18: if you scale that back and you look at point
- 58:27Speaker 18: three megawatts, so you're powering three hundred homes Kevin that
- 58:30Speaker 18: can last up to ninety two years without any kind
- 58:34Speaker 18: of refueling. So imagine that you're leaving instructions for the
- 58:37Speaker 18: next generations of what that is and where they're getting
- 58:40Speaker 18: power source from.
- 58:41Speaker 14: You know, you're burying these things underground. They're safe there.
- 58:44Speaker 18: You know, you can't have any kind of accidents because
- 58:47Speaker 18: they're possibly cool that can turn off.
- 58:49Speaker 14: It's just amazing when you think about things like that.
- 58:52Speaker 4: Yeah, well, this is why I want people to know
- 58:54Speaker 4: about EGO nuclear and all the good stuff that you're doing.
- 58:57Speaker 4: N UCL is the stock sim and I really love
- 59:02Speaker 4: what they're doing. I've kind of had an inside peak
- 59:04Speaker 4: at all of it for a while now. And Mark,
- 59:07Speaker 4: when we're talking about the need for this, because everybody's
- 59:11Speaker 4: talking data centers, I mean Elon Musk is talking about
- 59:14Speaker 4: data centers in space and having kind of an endless
- 59:18Speaker 4: solar capacity to power them. But AI is not going away.
- 59:23Speaker 4: And the reason that's important, friends, for those of you
- 59:26Speaker 4: watching and listening, is because whoever controls AI will be
- 59:32Speaker 4: the dominant country on planet Earth. And China has sold
- 59:37Speaker 4: its soul to beat us there and right now, what
- 59:40Speaker 4: we really need to be doing is matching their output
- 59:44Speaker 4: in terms of energy capacity. And there's really not a
- 59:47Speaker 4: reason why we shouldn't. Mark, and I know you're in
- 59:49Speaker 4: all of the above kind of consumer. You don't think
- 59:53Speaker 4: that nuclear is the only thing, but you know we
- 59:55Speaker 4: need it in addition to additional fossil fuels and for
- 59:59Speaker 4: whatever pieces wind and solar makes sense, Yeah, we could
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: use that too, but we need all energy supplies to
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: be lifted at this point.
- 1:00:07Speaker 14: Absolutely correct.
- 1:00:08Speaker 18: We need every electron we can get when it comes
- 1:00:11Speaker 18: to those AI models, power is the bottleneck. Yeah, and
- 1:00:15Speaker 18: you know we have to have the best models out there,
- 1:00:18Speaker 18: because God forbid we go into a conflict with one
- 1:00:21Speaker 18: of these nations that have more power and more advanced models,
- 1:00:25Speaker 18: that could be something I don't want to see.
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: So you're talking about how AI changes everyday life. I
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: don't think people think about it. But when you start
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: talking about how AI can impact national defense weapons response,
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: you know, airplanes, ships, everything that we need it to
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: help us make accurate and quick decisions with that, this
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: is just going to become more.
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: And more huge.
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: If people want to know more about everything Eagle's doing,
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: where do you suggest that they go?
- 1:00:54Speaker 14: So I suggest you can check out our website first.
- 1:00:56Speaker 18: So Eagle nuclear dot com could be our soul full
- 1:01:00Speaker 18: channels on LinkedIn or x And yeah, I think that's.
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: Listener dot com on the exchanges at n uc L
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: and I really encourage you to take a look at him.
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: A lot of you are going to get a letter
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: from me in your inbox on this. I really like
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: this company, and I want everyone that's listening to take
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: a real serious look at it because I think they're
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: offering solutions for some of the biggest issues we have
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: facing this Mark Wukija, thank you for all that you're
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: doing and come back and see us again.
- 1:01:27Speaker 14: Thanks a lot, Kevin, I appreciate it.
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: You got it.
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: Kevin McCulloch coming to you from Times Square. All Ai
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: power to everything.
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: Stick around for more of that.
- 1:01:35Speaker 9: Kevin.
- 1:01:36Speaker 10: Next here he is from New York.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: Fact Kevin McCullough.
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: Welcome back, Kevin mccaullaugh. Glad have you with us. It's
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: that Kevin Show, that kevinshow dot com. Thank you for
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: being here.
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: We are very.
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: Simply trying to give someone something that they desperately, desperately
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: need and have no access to it. We're talking about
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: something that may be a little unusual for some of
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: you that have never heard of this concept, but Bibles
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: are deeply, deeply needed in places where they don't have
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: access to them. And you may say, keV, come on,
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: everybody's got apps on their phone that have Bibles in them.
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: That's true unless you don't have smartphones. And that's true
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: especially if you don't have cell towers or internet service.
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: And where the Bible League has been going for years
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: is to places where people do not have access to
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: the scriptures electronically, in physical form, in really any form,
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: and that's why that's why they go and that's that's
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: why these these Bibles make such a huge difference. Michael
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: Woolworth is back with us, and Michael, there's lots of
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: sections of the world that we're talking about. In fact,
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: we've got like four main groups of areas. But Africa
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: still has a huge need for Bibles.
- 1:03:09Speaker 8: Well let me see this, Kevin. Not a place on
- 1:03:11Speaker 8: Earth where Bible League ministers, where we're not connected to
- 1:03:13Speaker 8: the local evangelical church, right, that's the blueprint for growth
- 1:03:17Speaker 8: in the New Testament. Paul did not consider the Gospel
- 1:03:20Speaker 8: to have been preached area to an area until one,
- 1:03:23Speaker 8: you know, the Gospel had been preached you know, churches
- 1:03:26Speaker 8: were set up and they were beginning to thrive, and
- 1:03:28Speaker 8: so again, why would we deviate from that. But again,
- 1:03:31Speaker 8: you have the assurance that this is a safe investment.
- 1:03:35Speaker 8: You know that, you know, they don't just put anybody
- 1:03:37Speaker 8: on that Kevin show. Right, We've been properly vetted. But Kevin,
- 1:03:41Speaker 8: you've been to Bible League's headquarters in the Chicago area.
- 1:03:44Speaker 8: You know, we've been on for this our eleventh campaign
- 1:03:46Speaker 8: together so again this is a safe investment. As I
- 1:03:50Speaker 8: love to say. You know, this is something we all
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: pray for, right that the Gospel would take reach in
- 1:03:55Speaker 8: places like Africa. And it turns out, Kevin, this is
- 1:03:57Speaker 8: where Christianity is growing. It's places like the continent of Africa.
- 1:04:02Speaker 8: And I do want to take you to Rwanda, Africa,
- 1:04:05Speaker 8: and you know some of the places where biblely ministers.
- 1:04:07Speaker 8: My goodness, the people have known incredible grief, pain and loss.
- 1:04:11Speaker 8: That is certainly true of the country of Rwanda. It's
- 1:04:14Speaker 8: the thirty second anniversary of the Hutu Tutsi conflict, the
- 1:04:19Speaker 8: Rwandan and genocide that happened in nineteen ninety four. About
- 1:04:22Speaker 8: a million people died in the course of about one
- 1:04:25Speaker 8: hundred days. You know, if you've seen the motion picture
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: Hotel Rwanda, you know the chaos and the bloodshed that
- 1:04:31Speaker 8: defined that conflict back again in nineteen ninety four. But
- 1:04:35Speaker 8: my colleague Anton left his native Netherlands went into Rwandi,
- 1:04:39Speaker 8: said Michael. There's memorials set up everywhere. Even thirty two
- 1:04:43Speaker 8: years later, people gather at these memorials and they weep
- 1:04:46Speaker 8: the loss of their loved ones. Anton met a woman
- 1:04:50Speaker 8: by the name of Dally. Her story Covin was that
- 1:04:52Speaker 8: she had lost her husband or son in about thirty
- 1:04:54Speaker 8: extended family members to that conflict back in nineteen ninety four.
- 1:04:59Speaker 8: And yet he said, God worked in her heart, has
- 1:05:01Speaker 8: brought her incredible peace and healing, and it came through
- 1:05:05Speaker 8: the words of Jesus on the Cross. But this is
- 1:05:07Speaker 8: Anton and he is in Rwanda, Africa.
- 1:05:10Speaker 19: Ask them it's about the lots of people in those
- 1:05:13Speaker 19: horrible times range from five hundred thousand to one million
- 1:05:16Speaker 19: over the course of just a couple of days. But
- 1:05:18Speaker 19: yet people like Dali have seen it with their own eyes.
- 1:05:21Speaker 19: Her husband and one of her sons were killed, and
- 1:05:23Speaker 19: she just couldn't forgive those who killed her loved ones.
- 1:05:26Speaker 19: True forgiveness only came when she learned about Christ's work
- 1:05:30Speaker 19: at the Cross, about which she was reading in her Bible.
- 1:05:32Speaker 19: So she recalled that Jesus asked his father to forgive
- 1:05:35Speaker 19: those who punished him. And because of Jesus saying those
- 1:05:39Speaker 19: words at the Cross, she is now able to forgive
- 1:05:42Speaker 19: those people.
- 1:05:42Speaker 8: And yeah, you know words that we often read around Easter, right,
- 1:05:46Speaker 8: Jesus saying, you know, Father, forgive them. They know now
- 1:05:48Speaker 8: what they do when Dolly was able to open up
- 1:05:51Speaker 8: her own Bible right, she was able to read the
- 1:05:53Speaker 8: words of Jesus again. And that's the grace, that's the
- 1:05:56Speaker 8: gumption that she found to be able to forgive those
- 1:05:59Speaker 8: that brought incredible gold reef to her. Kevin, She's gone
- 1:06:02Speaker 8: on in her small village of about three hundred adults,
- 1:06:05Speaker 8: about a third of that village now follows Jesus. Ninety
- 1:06:09Speaker 8: two have said yes to Jesus. They hear the story
- 1:06:11Speaker 8: of Dali. They see her ability not to move on
- 1:06:15Speaker 8: from something so tragic, but to move forward in life,
- 1:06:17Speaker 8: and they say, what we want that Jesus give us
- 1:06:20Speaker 8: that Jesus, and so ninety two new believers in this
- 1:06:23Speaker 8: small village of three hundred associated with the story of
- 1:06:27Speaker 8: Dali in Rwanda, Africa, one.
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: Eight hundred yes word is the number one eight hundred
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: y e s word. The way you give online is
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: this very simple go to that kevinshow dot com, that
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: kevinshow dot com, clict the banner at the top of
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: the page. It is really simple. It only takes a
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: couple of minutes. And just know that for every Bible
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: that goes out by believe has tracked over the years,
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: what they call a miracle multiplier is a It is
- 1:06:56Speaker 4: the statistic that they can comfortably say that for every
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: Bible that goes out, roughly twelve people come to faith
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: in Jesus because of that, and that's a conservative estimate.
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: There are areas where there's been a desperation for the
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: Bibles even after the Bibles arrive, Michael, because when they come,
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: it's one thing to get a Bible that you've been
- 1:07:18Speaker 4: hoping for and praying for and waiting for. But if
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: people immediately begin to come to Christ because the person
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: that receives it is immediately sharing the gospel, now you've
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: got more people that need Bibles. And so it's a
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: good problem to have, and it's a problem that we
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: want to try to help fill.
- 1:07:34Speaker 8: Well maybe disheartening, you know, to hear me talk about
- 1:07:37Speaker 8: the other statistic I've shared as many as what nine
- 1:07:39Speaker 8: of ten new believers in many of the regions of
- 1:07:42Speaker 8: Asia and Africa and the Middle East and Latin America
- 1:07:44Speaker 8: are denied God's word. That you'll let that sit in
- 1:07:47Speaker 8: your heart for a moment that again, fellow believers half
- 1:07:50Speaker 8: a world away are forced to go without a Bible.
- 1:07:52Speaker 8: But again Kevin, that miracle multiplier. I think you were
- 1:07:54Speaker 8: the one that coined that phrase for us, right, But
- 1:07:57Speaker 8: again with confidence, we can also say that what twelve
- 1:08:00Speaker 8: at least twelve people are impacted with every Bible. And
- 1:08:03Speaker 8: as I said earlier, if you can find a better
- 1:08:05Speaker 8: Kingdom investment, go chase that today. But if you've been
- 1:08:08Speaker 8: praying to be a blessing to believers somewhere in this world,
- 1:08:12Speaker 8: this great, big world that we live in, let this
- 1:08:16Speaker 8: be it today. We want to do this ultimately for
- 1:08:18Speaker 8: ten thousand waiting believers that we know by name of
- 1:08:21Speaker 8: Bible League. Kevin, it's always a joy to circle back
- 1:08:24Speaker 8: to these waiting believers. Let them know, Hey, the Bibles
- 1:08:26Speaker 8: you're praying for, they are as good as there.
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: It makes them that bring such joy to their hearts.
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: One eight hundred yes word one eight hundred yes word
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: or that kevinshow dot Com. Click the Bible League banner
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: at the top of the page.
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: Here he is from New York. That Kevin McCulla.
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: All right, welcome back, Kevin McCollough. The other person that
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: we speak to regularly here on Fridays is doctor Gina A.
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: Loud And you see her weekday mornings on Real America's
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: Voice American Sunrise.
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: American Sunrise is the name of the show.
- 1:09:13Speaker 20: It's a lot of fun to do. I have co
- 1:09:15Speaker 20: host David Brody, a veteran news guy, and Terence Bates.
- 1:09:20Speaker 14: He's a lot of fun to So yeah, we have.
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: A good time and it's and it's worth getting up
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: for friends. So I would highly encourage you to watch it,
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: Doctor Gina. Last night, ABC and NBC didn't seem too pleased.
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: In fact, they chose not to cover it at all.
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: But the rest of the country did show the president
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: the respect carried the address, and it was not about Iran.
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: It was not about you know, the Big Beautiful Bill
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: Part two. It was not about any of these other
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: large initiatives. He is focused on making sure that our
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: elections have some degree of transparency and validity to them.
- 1:09:58Speaker 4: Is it Is it gonna work? Do people now have
- 1:10:01Speaker 4: a better understanding that this is really something we need
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: to pay attention to.
- 1:10:05Speaker 20: Well, you would really hope, so I want to add
- 1:10:08Speaker 20: to your list of bad guys. CNN also did not
- 1:10:11Speaker 20: run I mean, will big surprise here. They're taking their positions.
- 1:10:16Speaker 20: They're all over this morning saying this was just one
- 1:10:19Speaker 20: big commercial for the Save Act, which is of course
- 1:10:23Speaker 20: not at all true. The Save Act is about the
- 1:10:25Speaker 20: most fundamental thing, and that is our elections right now.
- 1:10:28Speaker 20: And you know, as you say on your show all
- 1:10:32Speaker 20: the time, if we don't have that.
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: We don't have anything.
- 1:10:35Speaker 20: If our elections don't matter, then then really nothing we're
- 1:10:38Speaker 20: doing right now matters at all.
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: It just becomes kabuki theater at that point. It doesn't
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: there's no rhyme or reason to.
- 1:10:44Speaker 20: It, right exactly. So this is fundamental. And the other
- 1:10:49Speaker 20: thing about this it's so interesting, Kevin, is you would
- 1:10:51Speaker 20: think this would be a non partisan issue, like, in
- 1:10:56Speaker 20: what universe does it not matter to every American that
- 1:11:01Speaker 20: our elections are straightforward? I mean, think about the fundamental
- 1:11:04Speaker 20: of that question.
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: Well, I would say, and I would say that it
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: is even in today's polling. You look at where Democrats
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: are at on this, They're eighty five percent plus in
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: favor of voter id Independents are in the low nineties,
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: Republicans are in the mid nineties. This is a no
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: lose piece of legislator, except for politicians that might be
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: helped by not having such stringent standards in place.
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:11:30Speaker 20: And so if you want to tell the world you
- 1:11:32Speaker 20: planned it lie in.
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: Sheet and steel.
- 1:11:34Speaker 20: You oppose straightforward elections.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: Right, I mean, that's there's no other give.
- 1:11:40Speaker 20: Me one other reason why you would oppose fixing our
- 1:11:44Speaker 20: voting system.
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: There's no other country in the world.
- 1:11:47Speaker 20: That tolerates this sort of craziness, especially foreign interference in elections.
- 1:11:53Speaker 20: Holy Moses, Like, that's just not a thing. I honestly,
- 1:11:56Speaker 20: I don't think our founders ever even conceived that anyone
- 1:11:59Speaker 20: would advocate for the kind of craziness.
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: Well, and before people dismiss this whole thing, I just
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: want to remind them, because it was only a minor
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: news item a few months ago, but Georgia did an
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: audit of the twenty twenty elections in their state, and
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: just to remind everybody of the short term memory loss,
- 1:12:19Speaker 4: President Trump lost Georgia in twenty twenty, supposedly lost by
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: eleven thousand in change in terms of votes, and in
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: the audit that the state of Georgia did of its
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: own evaluation of the votes, but they were only forced
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: to do it because voters came forward and Georgia and
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: said we want this done. Three hundred and eighty five
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: thousand votes were cast and counted that should not have
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: been counted, that should have been eliminated. They didn't meet
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: the standard for what the vote is required to be.
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: Either the signature wasn't legible, or it didn't match the
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: address on the envelope, or any number of other things. Now,
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: if you've got doctor gina, I'm no math whiz. But
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: if if you've got eleven thousand vote discrepancy and you've
- 1:13:03Speaker 4: got three hundred and eighty five thousand fraudulent votes in
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: the count that shouldn't be there, that tells me something's
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: not quite right. And that's in Georgia. We're not talking
- 1:13:13Speaker 4: New York or California. We're talking about a fairly purple
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: state that you know has at least a certain degree
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: of common sense left to it. This is one of
- 1:13:23Speaker 4: those things where I think if you just take a
- 1:13:25Speaker 4: look at just the facts, you've got to be offended
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: by this and you got to want to do something
- 1:13:30Speaker 4: about it.
- 1:13:30Speaker 20: Yeah, I think that light shining issues in our entire
- 1:13:35Speaker 20: republic right now is where you stand on this. And look,
- 1:13:39Speaker 20: there's a lot of criticism to go around. I think
- 1:13:42Speaker 20: we should not trust our government. I think we should
- 1:13:44Speaker 20: look at foreign interference and a lot of things. I
- 1:13:48Speaker 20: think we need to take a closer look at a
- 1:13:49Speaker 20: lot of things that people are saying out there. Butler,
- 1:13:54Speaker 20: certainly Charlie other things like that. But to throw this
- 1:13:59Speaker 20: baby out with that bath water, to me, is fundamentally
- 1:14:04Speaker 20: irresponsible and really exposes a lot about who's in politics
- 1:14:08Speaker 20: and what their motives are.
- 1:14:10Speaker 4: Well, my bride, who doesn't follow this stuff like you
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: and I do every day reading all the papers, she
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: just kind of catches whatever I say on my show
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: and kind of hears me rambling in conversations with our friends.
- 1:14:22Speaker 4: But she asked me last night, she said, aren't we,
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: like the only country that doesn't have like photo ID
- 1:14:28Speaker 4: for our voting? I said yeah, I said, actually, Europe
- 1:14:33Speaker 4: has it across the board. Even there are even rogue
- 1:14:36Speaker 4: like African countries that aren't all that sophisticated that have
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: photo ID enforcement in terms of their elections. This, as
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: you said a moment ago, this is a no brainer.
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: This is something that every American should be in support.
- 1:14:49Speaker 20: Of one hundred percent. I don't see where the confusion
- 1:14:52Speaker 20: is on this, and I think, like I said, it's
- 1:14:54Speaker 20: a very it exposes our politicians for exactly what their
- 1:14:59Speaker 20: motive are, which is what I've always talked about with
- 1:15:01Speaker 20: my site background. Motive is really important. What in the
- 1:15:05Speaker 20: world is motivating certain people to be in politics.
- 1:15:08Speaker 5: You have to ask that question.
- 1:15:09Speaker 20: At every turn, and when you do, this question really
- 1:15:13Speaker 20: tells you the fundamentals of where why that person is
- 1:15:16Speaker 20: in politics.
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: Well, if you understand actions or behavior and then you
- 1:15:22Speaker 4: can qualify that by motivation, you get a pretty clear
- 1:15:25Speaker 4: snapshot of who you're talking about. Democrats, independence and Republicans
- 1:15:30Speaker 4: all want this. This is a ninety ten issue for
- 1:15:33Speaker 4: most of the country. This is not controversy at all.
- 1:15:37Speaker 20: One of the things, Kevin, that I think is really
- 1:15:39Speaker 20: important is to take a look at both sides of
- 1:15:41Speaker 20: the aisle, people that are in the current rump administration
- 1:15:45Speaker 20: and there involvement or lack thereof going back to when
- 1:15:50Speaker 20: all of this was uncovered, because there are some people
- 1:15:53Speaker 20: that are still there and if they were part of this.
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: Then that needs to be exposed too.
- 1:15:58Speaker 20: So I'm looking for some really awesome, uh authenticity out
- 1:16:05Speaker 20: of that speech last night.
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: It'll be interesting too much sense and transparent truth should
- 1:16:10Speaker 4: always lead them, and transparency sometimes is uncomfortable for some
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: that's okay. If it is, there's a reason and we
- 1:16:18Speaker 4: should we should know about it, all right, Doctor Gina,
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: thank you, have a great weekend. Thank you for being
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: with us.
- 1:16:23Speaker 20: YouTube all right, YouTube Kevin Slot and.
- 1:16:25Speaker 4: Then been watching me watching her Monday through Friday.
- 1:16:28Speaker 5: On Real America's Voice American Sunrise.
- 1:16:31Speaker 4: Is Kevin mccallach coming on.
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: Let's stick around for more of that.
- 1:16:35Speaker 15: Kevin next serving it up with a no Dream Mini.
- 1:16:52Speaker 15: It's that Kevin Show.
- 1:16:56Speaker 4: So glad you're with us, Welcome back. It's that Kevin show,
- 1:16:58Speaker 4: that kevinshow dot com. My good friends at the Bible League,
- 1:17:02Speaker 4: and I do consider them good friends. We are doing
- 1:17:05Speaker 4: all that we can to put the copy of God's
- 1:17:07Speaker 4: Word into the hands of those who desperately want it
- 1:17:10Speaker 4: but cannot get it. And we get to answer that
- 1:17:14Speaker 4: prayer today. Basically, we get to be an answer to prayer.
- 1:17:17Speaker 4: And the truth is, Michael, there are people praying to
- 1:17:20Speaker 4: receive a copy of Scripture all over the world right now.
- 1:17:22Speaker 8: You know of some well, you know all of these
- 1:17:25Speaker 8: people that we've talked about in our time together, Kevin.
- 1:17:27Speaker 8: The spots that you hear from time to time on
- 1:17:29Speaker 8: this station, right these are people that have come to
- 1:17:32Speaker 8: saving faith without a doubt. Their hearts are full, they're
- 1:17:35Speaker 8: members of our spiritual family, but their hands are empty.
- 1:17:38Speaker 8: They're waiting to be filled. And let me mention three
- 1:17:41Speaker 8: of those praying for Bibles right now. Rohan is a
- 1:17:45Speaker 8: Hindu in the country of India. When he became a believer,
- 1:17:48Speaker 8: he was beaten for his faith. But he's praying for
- 1:17:51Speaker 8: a Bible in the Hindi language. He is in bangalorea India.
- 1:17:55Speaker 8: Jarara is a former witch doctor on the continent of Africa,
- 1:17:58Speaker 8: in the country of Ethiopia. He's now at Jesus follower
- 1:18:01Speaker 8: praying for a Bible. And then another one for you
- 1:18:04Speaker 8: is Luis in the country of Ecuador, reached by a
- 1:18:07Speaker 8: pastor we talked about at the front end of the hour,
- 1:18:10Speaker 8: man by the name of Carlo. He is a former
- 1:18:12Speaker 8: crime boss. This man Luis was part of the drug
- 1:18:15Speaker 8: cartel Kevin. Now he is a member of our spiritual
- 1:18:19Speaker 8: family praying for a Bible in the ancient Quechua language.
- 1:18:22Speaker 8: Tell me that God is not at work in his
- 1:18:25Speaker 8: world through his word. And let me say thanks to
- 1:18:28Speaker 8: people like Barbara of Brooklyn. She said, I'm in at
- 1:18:32Speaker 8: thirteen bibles. Lyle of New York City said, Michael Kevin
- 1:18:35Speaker 8: count me and I want to be a part of
- 1:18:36Speaker 8: this at that one hundred and fifty dollars level. A
- 1:18:39Speaker 8: gift of thirty bibles today and the Kevin that's how
- 1:18:42Speaker 8: it gets done. And you know we shared a lot
- 1:18:44Speaker 8: of needs this hour. I know it's been what fifty
- 1:18:46Speaker 8: bibles here, a thousand Bibles there. But I also want
- 1:18:49Speaker 8: you to hear of just somebody who talks about the reaction,
- 1:18:53Speaker 8: what's actually happening, the outcome when you give that Bible today.
- 1:18:57Speaker 8: This is Pastor Able and he is on the continent
- 1:18:59Speaker 8: of Venta Africa.
- 1:19:00Speaker 21: Thank you very much for supporting by Blik to give
- 1:19:03Speaker 21: to this ministry. You are touching life. I've seen people
- 1:19:07Speaker 21: being changed by reading the scripture. They've also been looking
- 1:19:09Speaker 21: for the Scripture for a number of years. Buying a Bible.
- 1:19:12Speaker 21: Giving a Bible to somebody is the greatest gift you
- 1:19:15Speaker 21: can give somebody in life.
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: If you're able today to sit down and say, Okay,
- 1:19:21Speaker 4: I'm going to look at my budget for this month.
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: Where can I carve out a few dollars, Where can
- 1:19:26Speaker 4: I do what's necessary to supply what my family needs
- 1:19:29Speaker 4: and so forth. But beyond that, be able to say, okay,
- 1:19:32Speaker 4: now I have from this amount, this is what I
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: can do to give Bibles to those who don't have
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: them but desperately want them.
- 1:19:41Speaker 5: What would that be?
- 1:19:43Speaker 4: Just take that number whatever it is divided by five,
- 1:19:47Speaker 4: that's the number of Bibles that you're going to be
- 1:19:49Speaker 4: able to give. And then if you give that gift,
- 1:19:52Speaker 4: multiply that number that number of Bibles by the number
- 1:19:56Speaker 4: twelve and that's how many people you will actually impact
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: through your gift. Because for every Bible that's given, there's
- 1:20:02Speaker 4: about twelve people that come to faith because of that.
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: And that's what Bible League has traced now for more
- 1:20:08Speaker 4: than eighty eight years in ministry. And to be really
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: like brass tax honest, that's why we do it. We
- 1:20:16Speaker 4: want people to know Jesus. We want people to know
- 1:20:19Speaker 4: his love, to know the heart he has for them,
- 1:20:22Speaker 4: to know the mission that he has for them, to
- 1:20:24Speaker 4: know the purpose that he brings them. That's the heartbeat
- 1:20:27Speaker 4: of everything we do related to Bible League is that
- 1:20:29Speaker 4: more people would come to know Him and that in
- 1:20:32Speaker 4: the process of knowing Him, they end up changing the
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: world around them. They tell more people about Him, and
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: murderers in terrorist become law abiding, lover and peace people
- 1:20:42Speaker 4: because Jesus.
- 1:20:44Speaker 5: Changes who they are.
- 1:20:46Speaker 4: So one of the greatest gifts we can give the
- 1:20:48Speaker 4: planet is to bring Jesus to every heart and mind,
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: and Bible League believes that that can be done best
- 1:20:54Speaker 4: by putting Bibles into the hands of those who know
- 1:20:56Speaker 4: Him so that they can continue to tell others about Him.
- 1:20:59Speaker 5: And that's why we do it.
