- 0:10Speaker 1: Welcome to Conspiracy The Show with your hosts Adam Todd
- 0:15Speaker 1: Brown and Connore mcspaden. Hey, everybody, welcome to Conspiracy The Show.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I am Adam Todd Brown. I'm the other guy. That
- 0:30Speaker 1: is Connor mcspadden, just finishing up his drink of water.
- 0:35Speaker 1: How we start every pod?
- 0:36Speaker 2: We started last episode where I'm like, I got a
- 0:41Speaker 2: I like hydrate for a podcast, like how Michael Phelps
- 0:43Speaker 2: carbo loads just like six pancakes before the race and
- 0:46Speaker 2: I just burn it off in like forty five seconds.
- 0:49Speaker 2: So he always throws to me, I'm expecting a little
- 0:52Speaker 2: more vamping, but it's just like all right, man, Yeah,
- 0:55Speaker 2: but you know, you know, let's get right into it.
- 0:57Speaker 2: I don't vamp this other do you even vamp? Bro's
- 1:01Speaker 2: a it's an old school, you know, radio host listening
- 1:04Speaker 2: to a podcast. You're like, you guys don't even know
- 1:06Speaker 2: how to reset after a break. You're not giving out
- 1:08Speaker 2: the time, or the weather or the travel Well, it
- 1:10Speaker 2: would vary from location to location.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Yeah, we do have a block of the Doobie Brothers
- 1:14Speaker 1: coming up after this break.
- 1:16Speaker 2: We're playing the side too of the whatever the I
- 1:19Speaker 2: almost broke up with a girl over the Dewbee Brothers
- 1:21Speaker 2: one time because she was a musician and you know,
- 1:23Speaker 2: so I was two at the time, and you know,
- 1:25Speaker 2: we played music together. And then she wanted to watch
- 1:27Speaker 2: this live Doobie Brothers DVD and it's like two hours
- 1:30Speaker 2: and we watched the whole thing and I'm like going
- 1:32Speaker 2: insane at thirty minutes because every Doobie Brothers song sounds
- 1:35Speaker 2: the same, like, yeah, exactly the same. Great man, you know,
- 1:38Speaker 2: it's I've no problem with the Doobie Brothers. But I
- 1:40Speaker 2: was just like crawling the wall and I was just
- 1:42Speaker 2: like and she could just tell I and I deal
- 1:46Speaker 2: with my emotions about as well as you'd expect me to.
- 1:48Speaker 2: So I'm just sitting there becoming quietly enraged, and she's like,
- 1:51Speaker 2: are you okay. I'm like, yeah, I'm fine, Yeah, fucking yeah,
- 1:53Speaker 2: everything's fine. Doobie Brothers. Yeah, And every song ends with
- 1:57Speaker 2: the twenty minutes before the final fresh symbol. It's god
- 2:01Speaker 2: fucking damn it.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Uh So what are we talking about today?
- 2:05Speaker 2: We're talking about the Denver Airport along in story conspiracy
- 2:08Speaker 2: and the un pops uh history analys long, long, long history.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Here.
- 2:13Speaker 1: We were big fans of war Horse that's what we
- 2:16Speaker 1: call warhorse. Yeah, the horse that's outside the airport, the Lucifer,
- 2:20Speaker 1: is what the locals.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Call him, the Red Eyed Stallion. He is a he
- 2:24Speaker 2: sounds like what they'd call like a really strong olbino guy,
- 2:26Speaker 2: like from like you know, Red Eyes the eighteen hundreds.
- 2:30Speaker 2: He's just like we won a bunch of like, you know,
- 2:31Speaker 2: obscure like you know, local wrestling man, the Red Eyed Stallions,
- 2:34Speaker 2: moving from town to town. There'd be like a weird
- 2:36Speaker 2: shitty mibiograph of him, you know, just like beating the
- 2:39Speaker 2: ship out of some guy at a farm.
- 2:40Speaker 1: He's almost invisible because technology was shitty back then.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we should get uh, we should get
- 2:46Speaker 2: those on shirts. Oh the yeah, you should get the
- 2:50Speaker 2: uh get the red ed get a fucking I forgot
- 2:53Speaker 2: what his other name was.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Yeah, we're already war Horse. Yeah, yeah, we're all We
- 2:57Speaker 1: do have war Horse shirts coming really soon.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Oh sick.
- 3:01Speaker 1: So yeah, the Denver Airport, let's talk about a little
- 3:03Speaker 1: bit of the history. The Denver Airport opened on February
- 3:08Speaker 1: twenty eighth, nineteen ninety five. It was sixteen months behind
- 3:13Speaker 1: schedule and two billion dollars over budget.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Here's one question I have is our airports are those
- 3:21Speaker 2: Is this like tax payer money or are they Is
- 3:23Speaker 2: it a privatized thing. I think it would have to
- 3:25Speaker 2: be tax payer money. I think it is. I wasn't
- 3:29Speaker 2: completely sure.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know if there's a group that owns
- 3:33Speaker 1: the Denver Airport. I mean besides the Illuminati obviously, Yeah, besides.
- 3:36Speaker 2: The you know, Liz Tech nothing to see here ventures.
- 3:40Speaker 1: But they're not They're not into footing their own bills,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I'm sure. Yeah, so they figured out a way to pay.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Also, this like long over like schedule and over budget.
- 3:49Speaker 2: It's probably a government thing, you know, because they didn't
- 3:52Speaker 2: earn the money, so they have no like, you know,
- 3:54Speaker 2: problem with spending it frivolously. Right.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Yeah, this is probably why weed is legal and Colorado
- 4:01Speaker 1: still paying off the bill from this airport.
- 4:03Speaker 2: It's a good point. Yeah, everyone thought it was the
- 4:05Speaker 2: Joe Rugan's proselytizing about the mountains, but we just really
- 4:09Speaker 2: screwed the pooch on these fucking lizard bunkers. By the way,
- 4:12Speaker 2: I like the episode eight of this conspiracy Theory podcast,
- 4:14Speaker 2: and I'm already sound like a fucking libertarian over here,
- 4:17Speaker 2: Like well, yeah, I mean when you do nothing to
- 4:18Speaker 2: earn them, you know, there's no incentive for you to
- 4:20Speaker 2: spend a judiciously. But that is insane. I mean that's yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 2: because it was like two point five million, that's like,
- 4:27Speaker 2: that's one hundred and fifty percent more than they are,
- 4:29Speaker 2: one hundred and twenty percent more than they thought it
- 4:31Speaker 2: was gonna cost.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Right, they ended up spending four point eight billion dollars.
- 4:36Speaker 1: It's just twice as large as the next largest US airport.
- 4:39Speaker 2: That's enough to fund the warn I wreck for almost
- 4:41Speaker 2: fifteen minutes. I mean exactly, it's pretty.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Penny, but that's still a huge amount of money even
- 4:46Speaker 1: for the size of the airport, and.
- 4:49Speaker 2: It's like unnecessarily huge.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Yeah, it's super huge. I mean it's the biggest airport.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Does Denver handle that many flights?
- 4:57Speaker 2: Though?
- 4:58Speaker 1: To justify it, it's like a it's one of these cities.
- 5:00Speaker 2: It's almost like a rural city where it's a large
- 5:02Speaker 2: metropolitan area, but it's kind of the middle of nothing.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Yeah, in this airport is in the middle of like
- 5:09Speaker 1: sixteen or like six it's sixteen miles outside the city
- 5:15Speaker 1: and it's on this big, huge swath of empty land
- 5:19Speaker 1: that used to be very hilly, and that's part of
- 5:22Speaker 1: the conspiracy too. Now it's all flat, and people think
- 5:25Speaker 1: that's because of all the excavating for the bunkers underneath.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it's twice as large as the next largest US airport,
- 5:32Speaker 2: and it's farther away from Denver than their old.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Airport, right, which according to most people was fine, Like
- 5:40Speaker 1: they had a perfectly fine airport. There was no huge
- 5:43Speaker 1: need for the Denver Airport.
- 5:45Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know if they're just trying to
- 5:46Speaker 2: pick up like more like layover business, you know, like
- 5:49Speaker 2: make it a bigger hub and a bigger more room
- 5:50Speaker 2: with yeah, swastika runways, which we should probably address at
- 5:54Speaker 2: some point. We will get into those. I like that
- 5:58Speaker 2: they've recently opened an exhibit.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Yeah they do like tours on Halloween now Yeah, where
- 6:04Speaker 1: I need to get out to one of those for sure,
- 6:06Speaker 1: Oh definitely. But uh yeah, because it's not like it's
- 6:09Speaker 1: hard to fly there, especially from La No. Take us
- 6:11Speaker 1: about forty five minutes and costs maybe one hundred bucks.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Oh totally fly from here to Denver. I mean that's
- 6:17Speaker 2: what are you doing with Adam for his birthday? Well?
- 6:20Speaker 2: Were he wants to go to the Denver Airport Halloween tour. Well,
- 6:23Speaker 2: I almost feel like doing that is a brilliant if
- 6:25Speaker 2: it is an Illuminati bunker doiant marketing move where it's
- 6:28Speaker 2: just like, yeah, this is such a joke. I mean,
- 6:30Speaker 2: if it was real, would they be giving tours like
- 6:31Speaker 2: well maybe? I mean they just don't tell the guy
- 6:33Speaker 2: with the vest that's yeah, a struggling actor that this
- 6:38Speaker 2: is where Prescott Bush's robot body is going to be hidden.
- 6:41Speaker 2: That's a callback to last episode, but.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Last episode that's going out after going up two weeks
- 6:45Speaker 1: from Yeah, just as I remember that the Princess Diana
- 6:48Speaker 1: one was going to be coinciding with the anniversary.
- 6:50Speaker 2: So my bad. Never mind, man, I tell you these
- 6:53Speaker 2: podcasters they don't know how to reset after breaks, all right,
- 6:56Speaker 2: They're always plugging shit in reverse order. And let me
- 6:59Speaker 2: hear them, will live Live read for a item is
- 7:01Speaker 2: supplement that doesn't work? I don't think so.
- 7:04Speaker 1: So the uh yeah, so so some people thought that
- 7:08Speaker 1: there was really no reason to build this airport. Uh,
- 7:12Speaker 1: and and that I think kind of kicked the conspiracy off,
- 7:15Speaker 1: like people were wondering, what's what's the point. Yeah, And
- 7:19Speaker 1: so let's talk about some of the weird things about
- 7:23Speaker 1: this airport. For one thing, the runways are laid out
- 7:27Speaker 1: in a very unique pattern, which could best be described
- 7:31Speaker 1: as swastika.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Like, yeah, if you look at it, you can if
- 7:36Speaker 2: you see it from a bird's eye view, it's a
- 7:37Speaker 2: fairly easy to google. It doesn't doesn't not look like
- 7:41Speaker 2: a swastik. Yeah, I mean it would be like super swastika.
- 7:44Speaker 2: That wouldn't be probably what the first thing I think
- 7:45Speaker 2: of if I saw it.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Yeah, the dimensions aren't perfect, but it's swastika like.
- 7:50Speaker 2: It looks more like one of those like you when
- 7:52Speaker 2: you see someone try to draw Swaska in the bathroom
- 7:54Speaker 2: and then realize that they, you know.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Didn't locked it up. Yeah, they're like, I meant the
- 7:58Speaker 1: one that means peace. It's a different way. It doesn't
- 8:01Speaker 1: same one pal.
- 8:02Speaker 2: A lot of believe it or not, a lot of
- 8:04Speaker 2: Swaska's being drawn to Chino High School. Uh, in the
- 8:07Speaker 2: in the late aughts, and uh, no way. What we
- 8:10Speaker 2: used to do is go just turn them into windows,
- 8:12Speaker 2: like just like finish them out, you know, and play
- 8:14Speaker 2: like tic tac toe or whatever. Nice.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Yeah, so yeah, that's one of the oddity And like
- 8:21Speaker 1: you said, it is kind of with this, it's almost
- 8:24Speaker 1: sort of a hiding and plain sight thing where if
- 8:27Speaker 1: this is some sort of vast conspiracy, they're being very
- 8:31Speaker 1: open and very obvious about it, which you never know.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Maybe that's the Illuminats new new new tactic.
- 8:39Speaker 2: But uh yeah, kind of hiding in plain sight. I
- 8:41Speaker 2: mean it doesn't it's not the it's not the craziest
- 8:43Speaker 2: idea I've ever heard. Yeah, and it's also I feel
- 8:46Speaker 2: like by virginal of being so far outside of Denver,
- 8:48Speaker 2: Like this seems like a good nuclear fallout type stitch.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Oh yeah, for sure. Yeah.
- 8:54Speaker 1: And also the you know, the swastika thing, that's the
- 8:59Speaker 1: one part of that. I look at it and I'm like, yeah, okay, whatever.
- 9:03Speaker 1: But then also have you seen like those maps of
- 9:05Speaker 1: DC where the monuments all make like, uh like Illuminati stars,
- 9:12Speaker 1: Like maybe it's the same thing.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Maybe they're going for.
- 9:14Speaker 1: That aerial, that breath taking aerial world domination view, Yeah,
- 9:20Speaker 1: that you can only get from flying above DC.
- 9:23Speaker 2: I don't know where I'm going with this. Like one
- 9:25Speaker 2: of my things, like the things about these things, is
- 9:26Speaker 2: like I don't see the need for symbolism really if
- 9:29Speaker 2: I'm like doing this, you know, right, like if you
- 9:34Speaker 2: would think like a group of oligarchs that you know,
- 9:36Speaker 2: just care about self preservation. Like I think if that's me,
- 9:41Speaker 2: I think like good branding isn't super high on my
- 9:44Speaker 2: list of priorities, right, you know that almost makes a
- 9:47Speaker 2: little more dubiuess to me. But there is some creepy shit.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Yeah, well the dedication stone, that's a creepy thing.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Yeah, it's in the lobby. I've seen this thing, I
- 9:57Speaker 2: have to. Actually before I made a little visit there
- 10:00Speaker 2: because I'd heard about it on the show from Adam
- 10:02Speaker 2: before when I had a layover one time. And let
- 10:04Speaker 2: me make it a little bigger so I can the.
- 10:08Speaker 1: At the bottom, it says the New World Airport Commission,
- 10:12Speaker 1: and it lists the names of a few different companies
- 10:16Speaker 1: that contributed. And just the way free may I mean,
- 10:20Speaker 1: it's got a Freemason symbol on it. That's what, Yeah,
- 10:24Speaker 1: the Freemasons do, and it or it's a really weird
- 10:27Speaker 1: Google doodle, I don't know, right, And to the left
- 10:31Speaker 1: of the Freemason symbol, it says the most Worshipful, Worshipful
- 10:38Speaker 1: Prince Hall Grand Lodge F and a M of Colorado
- 10:43Speaker 1: and jurisdiction Claude W. Gray Senior grand Master, and.
- 10:50Speaker 2: You see that he wrote Wizard, but they had to
- 10:51Speaker 2: use rock white out red.
- 10:55Speaker 1: So this thing is creepy. It's a it's also a
- 10:59Speaker 1: time capsule. I don't know what's in it.
- 11:01Speaker 2: I'm probably like smallpox. Yeah, probably on like King Tuts
- 11:05Speaker 2: like Dick.
- 11:06Speaker 1: But this is one of those things where you know,
- 11:09Speaker 1: people you can't look at this and not have questions
- 11:12Speaker 1: about it if you're a conspiracy type.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Like this is either like a bold faced, like you know,
- 11:19Speaker 2: declaration of purpose of this, you know, overinflated spending airport,
- 11:25Speaker 2: or it's just a really bad like graphic design move
- 11:28Speaker 2: where somebody's like, oh, I'm gonna make it look all
- 11:30Speaker 2: bad assult, you know, and it's like, well, yeah, fit's.
- 11:33Speaker 2: You certainly are selling a lot extra a lot of
- 11:35Speaker 2: extra cinnabonds because of that. But I don't know if
- 11:37Speaker 2: it was a great move.
- 11:38Speaker 1: It kind of reminds me of the Georgia guidestones. Have
- 11:40Speaker 1: you ever seen those?
- 11:41Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, where it's like keep the population
- 11:44Speaker 2: onder one hundred thousand.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like a message to the future world. It's
- 11:48Speaker 1: not a bad message, really, yeah. Yeah, it's a message
- 11:50Speaker 1: I could get behind. But five hundred thousand, goddamn, that's
- 11:53Speaker 1: gonna take.
- 11:54Speaker 2: It's gonna be some. That's gonna be tough.
- 11:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna take some work. Probably not gonna mandicut to
- 11:58Speaker 1: keep people under Oh yeah, for sure.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know.
- 12:01Speaker 1: We have really good podcasts. They're gonna need those.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what That's my only hope. I'm like, well,
- 12:05Speaker 2: I mean, what are you gonna how are you gonna
- 12:07Speaker 2: entertain yourself?
- 12:07Speaker 1: We're gonna burn them to CDs and then just open
- 12:10Speaker 1: our jacket a whole bunch of CDRs.
- 12:12Speaker 2: There. We have a we have a fan of our
- 12:14Speaker 2: of my podcast, Mean Boys that's going to jail for
- 12:16Speaker 2: six years. So we're gonna try to send them the
- 12:18Speaker 2: new episodes on cassettes every month, because I think you
- 12:21Speaker 2: can send cassettes into jail. So I'm gonna look into
- 12:24Speaker 2: the logistics of that, just because I think it would
- 12:25Speaker 2: be hilarious. That's all because he was like, yeah, the
- 12:28Speaker 2: show really met a lot to me, and yeah, I
- 12:30Speaker 2: came along when I was going through all this stuff,
- 12:31Speaker 2: and I'm like, I just think it'd be funny if
- 12:33Speaker 2: there's a guy in jail listening to your podcast on
- 12:36Speaker 2: a cassette. Yeah, that would be great. Probably the only
- 12:38Speaker 2: podcast that ever be distributed on cassette. Yeah, that's fantastic.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Yeah yeah.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Me and Jeff put out our split comedy album on
- 12:46Speaker 1: gold cassettes.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Oh that's rad. I didn't know there were gold.
- 12:49Speaker 1: It was one of our Kickstarter rewards. Oh nice, you
- 12:53Speaker 1: could get a gold cassette version. They're so pretty.
- 12:55Speaker 2: How many people do you think of actually listened to
- 12:57Speaker 2: it on a cassette deck.
- 12:59Speaker 1: On a cassette deck, Probably not a lot. Yeah, Like,
- 13:02Speaker 1: I haven't even listened to it on a cassette deck.
- 13:04Speaker 2: We did for we're just taking their word for it
- 13:07Speaker 2: that it's on there. I think I think bands and
- 13:09Speaker 2: so cassettes now, I think they're just like, that's it there.
- 13:11Speaker 2: They're like, I can't seoul funny. Yeah, I told my
- 13:15Speaker 2: pet Cruiser, so I don't have any vehicle in my
- 13:17Speaker 2: life that has a cassette deck in it. By the way,
- 13:19Speaker 2: my peg heres got total when I got hit by
- 13:21Speaker 2: a guy in a different Pezza Cruisers so perfect who
- 13:26Speaker 2: had no shoes while it was raining, You're wearing black
- 13:28Speaker 2: dress socks and his proven insurance had coupons for the
- 13:31Speaker 2: insurance company attached to the proof of insurance. That's amazing.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Who was his insurance company? It was like fucking the
- 13:38Speaker 2: Big L's crazy insurance. It was just a stupid company
- 13:41Speaker 2: that shouldn't exist. Big ass, like one step lower than
- 13:44Speaker 2: Adriana's you know.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah from all the bus ads you see her
- 13:48Speaker 1: all the time.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Yeah, she's big where I'm from.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Uh So, Yeah, there's this this creepy rock.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Did she make the five hundred thousand on the Georgia
- 13:56Speaker 2: guidestones Adriana from Adriana's Insurance? Pretty cute, just photogenic. Yeah.
- 14:01Speaker 2: I mean we're gonna need to ensure our like, you know,
- 14:03Speaker 2: our trains that carried like the people to the Swiling
- 14:06Speaker 2: Green factory.
- 14:07Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, she'll have to ensure them to make
- 14:10Speaker 1: sure they make it to the factory.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, there'll be room for Adriana. Congratulations lady.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Uh So, also on this guide stone or on this
- 14:19Speaker 1: uh this uh it's called capstone in the Denver Airport lobby.
- 14:24Speaker 2: There all are.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Also people who point out that if you add up
- 14:27Speaker 1: the date, it adds up to thirty three, which is
- 14:31Speaker 1: the highest level of freemasonry. But no, the you that's
- 14:36Speaker 1: only the nineteen and the nineteen ninety four. If you
- 14:40Speaker 1: add March in, then it adds up to thirty six,
- 14:43Speaker 1: which that one.
- 14:43Speaker 2: I feel like, how old is now? Yeah?
- 14:47Speaker 1: I feel like if they were trying to be sneaky there,
- 14:49Speaker 1: they would have just put the stone there three days earlier.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Yeah, you could have. You could have rushed it. You know,
- 14:55Speaker 2: you could have had one of the bathrooms out of
- 14:57Speaker 2: order for you know, a week and a half. Yeah,
- 14:59Speaker 2: to get your like numerology agenda in place. It's like
- 15:02Speaker 2: the Rizz's book from Wu Tang if you ever read
- 15:04Speaker 2: his book called the Dao Wu. He believes in all
- 15:06Speaker 2: this bullshit crazy numerology. Oh yeah, nation of Islam on
- 15:10Speaker 2: like bullshit and it's like fucking crazy.
- 15:12Speaker 1: They believe white people were created in a lab. Oh
- 15:15Speaker 1: my bud evil black scientists named Yaku.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, I was talking to my buddy Kyrie about
- 15:20Speaker 2: this and he was raised to believe that Yaku made wipe,
- 15:22Speaker 2: you know, out of like pigs, blood and shit and
- 15:24Speaker 2: like that is awesome.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Yeah, that's one of my favorite tales, sucking. And there's
- 15:29Speaker 1: so many rappers who believe that. Oh, it's like one
- 15:32Speaker 1: of the main nation of Islam.
- 15:33Speaker 2: I can't blame them.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean we've earned that rep Oh definitely, for sure.
- 15:38Speaker 2: I'm like a pig. Are you sure it wasn't a
- 15:40Speaker 2: rash or some kind of lower mammal?
- 15:43Speaker 1: So the uh yeah, the date doesn't actually add up
- 15:47Speaker 1: to thirty three, And again under the Mason symbol, it
- 15:51Speaker 1: credits the New World Airport Commission for helping to build
- 15:54Speaker 1: the airport and for conspiracy theorists. Obviously they take this
- 15:58Speaker 1: as a sign that this is related to their.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Suppliers at Fourth Reich Building, Which, if you're a conspiracy theorist,
- 16:06Speaker 2: why wouldn't you take this as some sort of sign
- 16:10Speaker 2: that the New World Order is real. I almost think
- 16:13Speaker 2: at a certain point there's got to be some like
- 16:15Speaker 2: bureaucrats that's just like fucking with people. Yeah. Sure, it's
- 16:18Speaker 2: possible that there's just some guy who's like, let me
- 16:21Speaker 2: just arrange the nine to eleven memorial like a star
- 16:24Speaker 2: of David just and see what that conclusions people draw
- 16:28Speaker 2: from it or whatever? Is that a real thing? No,
- 16:31Speaker 2: I just made something up. I would have been I rate.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Well.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Yeah, they say that the name New World Airport Commission
- 16:41Speaker 2: comes from like uh, like the official story is that
- 16:45Speaker 2: it's from like the name of a symphony, is that right? Yeah?
- 16:47Speaker 1: It was the New World Airport Commission.
- 16:50Speaker 2: And this is the thing.
- 16:50Speaker 1: We'll watch a video clip from the Jesse Ventura conspiracy
- 16:55Speaker 1: show that covered this, And when they talk about this capstone,
- 17:00Speaker 1: the guy who's showing Jesse venture around, Uh, Jesse venturre.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Goes New World Airport Commission. What does that mean?
- 17:08Speaker 1: And the guys like nobody knows, and they just walk
- 17:12Speaker 1: off and people totally know the dude. He was an
- 17:16Speaker 1: arts advocate who died in twenty ten and the name
- 17:20Speaker 1: is a reference to Dvorak's New World Symphony, and the
- 17:23Speaker 1: commission was created only to orchestrate the Denver Airport's opening festivities. Sure,
- 17:30Speaker 1: let's let me find out the circumstances around that death
- 17:34Speaker 1: before I before I buy any of that.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Well, that's you know, it was. It was just had
- 17:38Speaker 2: a one time thing. It's like when Jelbiofro was in
- 17:41Speaker 2: that band with Chris Novsela called No World Trade A
- 17:43Speaker 2: No wto Comba or whatever, and they put up that
- 17:46Speaker 2: album on Alternative Testicles or whatever. Yeah, uh, tentacles. I
- 17:50Speaker 2: don't know what the name of the Alternative test that's
- 17:54Speaker 2: the worst stiff Little Finger song. That's the name of
- 17:56Speaker 2: the record label. Me and Connor all cassettes, eight tracks
- 18:02Speaker 2: and flash drives like the White Stripes tried to do
- 18:05Speaker 2: in the late two thousands.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I thought of doing that for one of the boxes too,
- 18:08Speaker 1: doing flash drives with like all the back episode because
- 18:11Speaker 1: we have at this point, like five hundred podcasts now.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we've recorded, and just give them like
- 18:16Speaker 2: an apocalypse pendant, you know, yeah, that you could take
- 18:19Speaker 2: with you.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Yeah, when this all collapses, yep, we won't have electricity
- 18:24Speaker 1: for you to listen to those on, but you can
- 18:25Speaker 1: look at it and admire it.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Every circuit board in the nation's going to be fried.
- 18:28Speaker 2: But maybe some aliens to a build a reverse engineer
- 18:30Speaker 2: the Yeah, that would be great if that was the
- 18:32Speaker 2: Rosetta stone of the human race. Was you and me
- 18:34Speaker 2: being like, yeah, maybe this airport is gay. I don't know.
- 18:38Speaker 2: I mean it is dick shapes, I don't know. It's
- 18:41Speaker 2: a good point. We should save this podcast forever. Let's go,
- 18:44Speaker 2: let's send this out on a voyager.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Three people also had noticed strange markings and phrases around
- 18:53Speaker 1: the airport, and a popular theory is that they're an
- 18:57Speaker 1: alien language.
- 18:58Speaker 2: This one here reads a here I say broken hearted
- 19:01Speaker 2: tried to shit but only.
- 19:06Speaker 1: But the strange markings are actually Navajo language characters and
- 19:10Speaker 1: reference to other artists in the airport, like the one
- 19:14Speaker 1: on the right in the notes just says Villa Reale,
- 19:18Speaker 1: And people were.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Like, oh, this is an alien foe.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Kind of alien speech is this?
- 19:23Speaker 2: I don't even think the human mouth can pronounce this.
- 19:26Speaker 1: There's also these crazy ass gargoyles in the baggage claim area. Yeah,
- 19:31Speaker 1: that seemed to be out of place, but the official
- 19:34Speaker 1: explanation here is that if you look close, they're just
- 19:39Speaker 1: gargoyles popping out of luggage, so they're not out of
- 19:43Speaker 1: place at all, which that still seems out of place
- 19:47Speaker 1: to me. I don't wire their gargoyles in people's luggage.
- 19:49Speaker 2: That's a bad asthetic choice. Yeah, I mean it's just crazy.
- 19:53Speaker 2: It's crazy. I mean, I'm I fully enjoyed the macab
- 19:57Speaker 2: imagery and the occult or whatever, but this is just
- 20:00Speaker 2: it's not even a very good looking gargoyle. It's yeah,
- 20:03Speaker 2: it's just a bad call.
- 20:05Speaker 1: It's and also there's no way you could fly with
- 20:08Speaker 1: that thing, Like you're not getting through airport security with
- 20:12Speaker 1: that gargoyle in your fucking suitcase.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean he's got more than twelve ounces of
- 20:16Speaker 2: liquid inside of him, presumably the blood of children. I
- 20:20Speaker 2: don't know exactly how gargoyles as assist someone.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Someone should try and just get a gargoyle statue through
- 20:27Speaker 1: their luggage.
- 20:29Speaker 2: I got a fat ass knife through security one time
- 20:31Speaker 2: on accident. Wow. I flew up to uh to Portland
- 20:35Speaker 2: for a gig and then as I was flying back,
- 20:37Speaker 2: they're like, oh, or you gotta you can't have this,
- 20:40Speaker 2: And I was like what and they're like, pull out this,
- 20:41Speaker 2: and like I flew up here with that. I had
- 20:44Speaker 2: a full like three inch like flick it open like cheese,
- 20:47Speaker 2: not quite like a gravity knife, but like a hefty
- 20:50Speaker 2: pocket knife that my friend has given me for my birthday.
- 20:52Speaker 2: And it was a fucking bitch of knife. So I
- 20:54Speaker 2: have in my backpack or whatever, you know, just you know,
- 20:56Speaker 2: as I'm going around town. Not not for stabbing, but
- 20:59Speaker 2: you know, sometimes you a knife and cool, I like
- 21:01Speaker 2: to play with it or whatever. But yeah, I've got
- 21:03Speaker 2: that on a goddamn plane. And that was scared the
- 21:05Speaker 2: ship out of me.
- 21:06Speaker 1: This uh An on Pops Fan sent us all weapons.
- 21:10Speaker 1: At one point, he sent me a knife that I
- 21:14Speaker 1: could murder a motherfucker with it, for sure.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Oh yeah, like a big bowie knife.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's a it's a flip flip open. Oh
- 21:21Speaker 1: is it a switchblade kind of deal? No, it's not
- 21:23Speaker 1: an actual switchblade.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Okay, because you can get them where you can open
- 21:25Speaker 2: them almost like a switchblade, but it's not single button.
- 21:27Speaker 2: You got to get your index finger. Yeah, it's kinda
- 21:30Speaker 2: kind of like that. But guy, in middle school, I
- 21:32Speaker 2: had a switchblade. Those are fucking sick. If you ever
- 21:34Speaker 2: actually got to play with one of those.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Yeah, well there's still I mean they're technically you can
- 21:38Speaker 1: buy them on the internet. They're not really Yeah, there's
- 21:41Speaker 1: there's like modified version.
- 21:43Speaker 2: I know what I'm spending my Patreon money on. Yeah.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I wrote an article once for Cracked about all the
- 21:48Speaker 1: crazy things you can still buy online, and like brass knuckles.
- 21:51Speaker 1: One of the weapons he sent us was brass knuckles.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Oh, because they just marked them as paper weights, right
- 21:55Speaker 2: right right, and with us with my tobacco pipe, my
- 22:00Speaker 2: paperweight and yeah, well.
- 22:02Speaker 1: With switchblades, there's like one particular mechanism that's illegal and
- 22:08Speaker 1: knife manufacturers just started using a different mechanism that still
- 22:11Speaker 1: works kind of the same.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Way as a switchblok.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Okay, and you can buy those I forget exactly what
- 22:18Speaker 1: they're called, but yeah, you can still buy.
- 22:20Speaker 2: That switch blades in air quotes air quotes. Yeah.
- 22:24Speaker 1: So so Yeah, there's the gargoyles, uh. And then and
- 22:29Speaker 1: then there's the art. The art is one of the
- 22:33Speaker 1: weirdest features of the Denver airport. They have a collection
- 22:37Speaker 1: that's reported to be valued at over fourteen million dollars.
- 22:41Speaker 2: And again, I just feel like keeping this shit on
- 22:44Speaker 2: display near a bunch of like fat assholes with Cheetoh
- 22:48Speaker 2: fingers is a silly idea.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Yeah, what did Denver do to deserve all this cool
- 22:53Speaker 1: shit in their airport?
- 22:54Speaker 2: Right? Like, if you've got if you're gonna like commission
- 22:56Speaker 2: a bunch of really expensive art, like put it in
- 22:58Speaker 2: a place where people can go see it, like, you know,
- 23:01Speaker 2: regardless of whether or not they need to go to Tampa.
- 23:04Speaker 2: It's basically, the admission of this art museum is like
- 23:06Speaker 2: a you know, two hundred dollars fucking plane ticket.
- 23:09Speaker 1: You have a shitty layover in Denver. And even then,
- 23:13Speaker 1: if you've been to the Denver Airport, which you have.
- 23:15Speaker 1: It's not that easy. It's so big, it's not that
- 23:17Speaker 1: easy to get around.
- 23:18Speaker 2: No, it's humongous.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Like you don't want to go it's in like kind
- 23:21Speaker 1: of a big ring.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:22Speaker 1: And you don't want to go from A to the
- 23:24Speaker 1: A concourse to the B concourse just to hang out
- 23:27Speaker 1: because you have to get on a fucking train for
- 23:29Speaker 1: one thing. Yeah, like who knows how long it's going
- 23:31Speaker 1: to take to get back.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Also having a train there, it's not good if you
- 23:34Speaker 2: if you've got world New World Order conspiracies surrounding it. Yeah. Yeah,
- 23:39Speaker 2: I did kind of a party follow one time I was.
- 23:41Speaker 2: I took a Jewish girl out on a date to
- 23:42Speaker 2: the Getty and I didn't know that you had to
- 23:44Speaker 2: take a train up the hill. So I'm sitting there
- 23:46Speaker 2: with my blue eyes and my Hitler youth haircut and
- 23:48Speaker 2: not just like oh so the weather's day. She didn't
- 23:53Speaker 2: think of it. It was just something that was so funny
- 23:55Speaker 2: to be as a commatively do I bring this up
- 23:56Speaker 2: to I know it's date three? Is that the date
- 23:59Speaker 2: where you get to, you know, insinuate anti semitism? Okay,
- 24:02Speaker 2: let's feel it out. I think that's the rule.
- 24:05Speaker 1: I think Date three you get to start letting anti
- 24:07Speaker 1: Semitism fly. It's not I'm a Date two guy myself,
- 24:10Speaker 1: but you know, to each their own. Yeah, you get
- 24:13Speaker 1: a little drunk, and if you've got more traditional values
- 24:16Speaker 1: than me, yeah.
- 24:16Speaker 2: You start telling you some Prescott Push conspiracy.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Prescott Bush, the official mascot is conspiracy the show.
- 24:24Speaker 2: You look at him, he looks like a vampire. He
- 24:26Speaker 2: looks gooulish and evil. You just look.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Will someone please make a stuffed press Prescott Bush doll
- 24:33Speaker 1: and send it to a plush Scott.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Bush Prescott Plush plus Plush Scott. I like plush Scott Yeah,
- 24:40Speaker 2: me too.
- 24:41Speaker 1: So the art in the Denver Airport, the most famous
- 24:44Speaker 1: one is uh it's its slave name is blue Mustang, which.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Is when you get that weird infection and you're pushing
- 24:51Speaker 2: and again in an internet meme, I just found out
- 24:53Speaker 2: about that blue waffle shit recently, And if you're listening
- 24:55Speaker 2: at home, don't google that. If you don't know what
- 24:57Speaker 2: it is, don't be like me and learn.
- 24:58Speaker 1: I don't know what it is, and I don't want
- 25:00Speaker 1: to learn. Like, if you don't want people to know
- 25:02Speaker 1: what it is, then I don't fucking want to know.
- 25:04Speaker 2: I'm not. I'm so squening. You think I wouldn't be,
- 25:06Speaker 2: But I'm real squamish about any kind of like gross
- 25:09Speaker 2: medical stuff or gore of any kind of Oh yeah,
- 25:12Speaker 2: I can't handle it. I can't even watch c SI. Wow. Yeah,
- 25:15Speaker 2: I hate that. I mean, I've I'll write a thousand
- 25:17Speaker 2: dead baby jokes or whatever, but like actually seeing it,
- 25:19Speaker 2: it's like I need to see that, Yeah, for sure.
- 25:23Speaker 2: But yeah, the Blue Mustang his slave name, the Blue Mustang.
- 25:26Speaker 2: At this point, he's fucking badass looking.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a it's a great fucking statue. We around
- 25:31Speaker 1: the un Pops network referred to him as.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Waw hoss Uh.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Last year for Christmas, we did in un Pop's Warhorse
- 25:40Speaker 1: Christmas Special, where me and Jeff May told the story
- 25:43Speaker 1: of how Warhorse came to town one Christmas and it's
- 25:48Speaker 1: still one of my favorite things we've ever done on
- 25:50Speaker 1: this network.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Go back and find that. I gotta check that out.
- 25:54Speaker 2: It is an.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Epic, epic story. I wrote it in a day. I
- 25:59Speaker 1: went to a free music website and like piece together
- 26:02Speaker 1: like a score, and like what you gotta.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Do and mean was is just steal all the music
- 26:06Speaker 2: from YouTube via VID to MP three. Oh yeah, that
- 26:09Speaker 2: makes sense, a good move. Eventually, I'm gonna get popped
- 26:12Speaker 2: for something and it's gonna be a big deal.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Oh well, you just put your you'll get like automatic
- 26:18Speaker 1: copyright notices when you upload stuff to YouTube.
- 26:21Speaker 2: I got, I got it. My inbox was flooded the
- 26:23Speaker 2: other day when I like put my backlog on, just
- 26:25Speaker 2: like Kating, Kating, Kating that episode that every episode has
- 26:28Speaker 2: ads that are making money for other people. Now, yeah, yeah, yeah, no,
- 26:33Speaker 2: it kind of looks like paulm Onions, like big blue
- 26:35Speaker 2: ox and like you know, like the paces from Hercules
- 26:38Speaker 2: kind of put together.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's an imposing figure. If you're driving in
- 26:42Speaker 1: to the Denver Airport at night and you see that thing,
- 26:45Speaker 1: it's it's a fucking site, that's for sure.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:48Speaker 1: But also, the Denver Broncos are a team, and this
- 26:53Speaker 1: doesn't it's this isn't unlike their eighties uniform mascot, which
- 26:58Speaker 1: was just a big blue horse.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Also, isn't it like a different kind of horse Bronco
- 27:02Speaker 2: and a Mustang or is that the uh?
- 27:04Speaker 1: I know, just listen, I don't I don't see breeds Okay,
- 27:09Speaker 1: we're all horses.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Yeah, we're all the same horse. What's funny is when
- 27:12Speaker 2: my my I come from a family of like professional
- 27:15Speaker 2: horse razors. Is real. My grand grandmother had a farm
- 27:19Speaker 2: and raised in bread profet like race horses and shit
- 27:22Speaker 2: like that. And uh, the way she will talk about
- 27:25Speaker 2: horses because she loves horse racing is like the way
- 27:27Speaker 2: you hear like, you know, like Nazis talk about eugenic.
- 27:29Speaker 2: She's just like, look, unless it's an Arabian, it's not
- 27:31Speaker 2: gonna win. All right, you might see the Mustang coming
- 27:33Speaker 2: like second or third, but I mean, really, you got
- 27:35Speaker 2: to have an Arabian. Wow. You know, like their skulls
- 27:38Speaker 2: are the shape of them makes the more aer dirty, Like,
- 27:40Speaker 2: oh my god, that's amazing.
- 27:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:43Speaker 1: I heard a girl on a date once. I was
- 27:45Speaker 1: at out at a restaurant with someone else and there
- 27:47Speaker 1: was a girl sitting next to us and she was
- 27:49Speaker 1: clearly on a date and just talking about horses the
- 27:53Speaker 1: whole fucking time.
- 27:54Speaker 2: This I don't know. I don't want to come across uh,
- 27:56Speaker 2: you know, sexist or whatever, but I don't understand what
- 27:58Speaker 2: women think is so cool. But horses they're big, stinky,
- 28:02Speaker 2: mean animals.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Maybe it's a sex thing, just the motion of riding
- 28:05Speaker 1: a horse maybe. Oh, or maybe they're fucking horses.
- 28:09Speaker 2: I don't know, man, I think that just made it
- 28:12Speaker 2: admeasurably worse.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Maybe just the big dicks in the Yeah, maybe they've
- 28:15Speaker 1: seen that Zoo documentary.
- 28:17Speaker 2: I don't know. I've always just thought they were just
- 28:19Speaker 2: completely uninteresting. But my mom goes ape shit for horses
- 28:22Speaker 2: every every woman I feel like I've ever known almost
- 28:25Speaker 2: it's just like loves. I'm like, I just don't get it.
- 28:27Speaker 1: You heard it here first, fuck horses. Fuck horses and
- 28:31Speaker 1: fuck horses both like sex thing and oh and yeah yeah,
- 28:35Speaker 1: which is concept Okay, get back to it.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Anyway, the nuclear bunkers so well, some.
- 28:40Speaker 1: People believe that this horse is a representative of the
- 28:43Speaker 1: horsemen of the Apocalypse, harbinger of the Apocalypse and the
- 28:47Speaker 1: New World Order. It's got really uh troubled beginning.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Oh.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Also, the glowing red eyes have also helped fuel the conspiracy,
- 28:56Speaker 1: because that's a weird feature.
- 28:58Speaker 2: It's a weird aesthetic choice. Yeah.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Yeah, and they even glowed during the day, which is weird.
- 29:04Speaker 2: I feel like it's bright enough where you see them
- 29:07Speaker 2: glow and during the day. Wow, that's a lot of
- 29:10Speaker 2: wattage going in.
- 29:12Speaker 1: A whole lot of wattage. Wattage is that?
- 29:15Speaker 2: That's Mike Watt's new solo project.
- 29:17Speaker 1: We are on the We do a Nirvana fan podcast,
- 29:21Speaker 1: and we were talking at one point about Kurt Cobain's
- 29:24Speaker 1: early years writing songs, and one of the songs he
- 29:28Speaker 1: wrote was called Wattage in the Cottage. Really amazing that
- 29:32Speaker 1: never made it on Nevermind? Was that is it was
- 29:34Speaker 1: that like on Matter? No, this was like pre fecal
- 29:38Speaker 1: matter when he was just like jamming at people's houses. Okay,
- 29:42Speaker 1: And I don't think it's a song that's ever come out, Okay.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Yeah, Yeah, that's so weird. Yeah, you heard some of that,
- 29:47Speaker 2: some of those weird unreleased like solo tapes on the
- 29:50Speaker 2: about a Sun doc. Those are pretty cool.
- 29:53Speaker 1: The so the sculptor of Warhorse or Blucifer or blue Mustang,
- 29:59Speaker 1: what the fuck war Horse? He was killed in two
- 30:02Speaker 1: thousand and six when a section of the horse fell
- 30:06Speaker 1: on him while he was making it.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Well, his name is Louis Jimenez, which is clearly some
- 30:11Speaker 2: kind of alien language human. Yeah.
- 30:14Speaker 1: So they got this Anastazzi guy to come down here
- 30:16Speaker 1: from space.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Yeah, they they found one of the one of the mines.
- 30:20Speaker 2: They sent him back from the other side of the
- 30:22Speaker 2: moon to commission this from him. Yeah, I mean that's
- 30:24Speaker 2: just unlet well, it's like one of these things were like,
- 30:27Speaker 2: did someone topple the statue onto him to keep him
- 30:30Speaker 2: quiet about its intentions? Because was he like, all right,
- 30:32Speaker 2: I'll make this horse statue. You gotta let my faintly
- 30:34Speaker 2: have a space in the bunker. They're like, nice, try.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Nerds take a Yeah, he was apparently had finished it
- 30:41Speaker 1: and was trying to move it and horse statue. That's yeah,
- 30:46Speaker 1: that's statue in one on one. You pay people to
- 30:48Speaker 1: do that. Yeah. When it was installed in two thousand
- 30:52Speaker 1: and eight, residents were up in arms, calling it ugly
- 30:55Speaker 1: and demonic and saying it was cursed. But the red
- 30:58Speaker 1: eyes were not meant to be demonic. Instead, they were
- 31:00Speaker 1: an homage to Jimenez's father, who was a k neon
- 31:04Speaker 1: sign artist, which look, dude, no one gives a fuck. Yeah, like, no,
- 31:08Speaker 1: don't don't homage your father in public like that.
- 31:10Speaker 2: You're You've literally created a massive web of speculation just
- 31:16Speaker 2: because you wanted to do something nice for your insignificant.
- 31:18Speaker 2: I'm sure very nice.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Dad, right right, Yeah, Like, I mean my dad died
- 31:22Speaker 1: when I was real young, but I don't like put
- 31:25Speaker 1: clips of him talking on the soundboard or anything. No,
- 31:28Speaker 1: I don't have clips of my dad talking. It's got
- 31:32Speaker 1: really sad.
- 31:34Speaker 2: I mean, not that. At least it wasn't a knee
- 31:35Speaker 2: on sign artists.
- 31:38Speaker 1: What a piece of shit.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Yeah, my dad helps advertise for strip clubs. It was
- 31:43Speaker 2: a great man, he's hot. Yeah. Well calling it ugly,
- 31:46Speaker 2: demonic and cursed. If something can't be cursed if it
- 31:49Speaker 2: was made in two thousand and eight, all right, Curses
- 31:51Speaker 2: are things.
- 31:52Speaker 1: From Yeah, curses and religions you can't have started back
- 31:56Speaker 1: when in recent times.
- 31:58Speaker 2: I'm not buying that anything's cursed unless it dates back
- 32:00Speaker 2: to like at least like Vietnam. Like maybe there some
- 32:02Speaker 2: weird jungle voodoo or some shit. Sounded more racist than
- 32:06Speaker 2: I wanted it to. Just I was picturing like weird
- 32:08Speaker 2: you know, indigenous like fucking temples or what. I don't
- 32:11Speaker 2: even know, but you like it. At least, Like seventy
- 32:14Speaker 2: three is my cutoff for cursed artifacts. I feel like
- 32:17Speaker 2: that's fair. Two thousand and eight, all right, If Katie
- 32:20Speaker 2: Perry currently had a song on the charts. You can't
- 32:24Speaker 2: have anything that was possessed by the devil.
- 32:28Speaker 1: There's also the murals, which are one of the weirder features.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Oh, these are fucking badass. Yeah.
- 32:35Speaker 1: These are by an artist named Leo Tanguma, who.
- 32:38Speaker 2: I don't know what kind of alien he is. Yeah,
- 32:40Speaker 2: I don't. I think he's a gray.
- 32:41Speaker 1: I wonder if we can get him on Skype via
- 32:44Speaker 1: whatever planet he lives on. Uh, that would be interesting.
- 32:47Speaker 1: We should just talk to this guy and be like,
- 32:49Speaker 1: what the fuck? Yeah, but instead, let's speculate about his
- 32:52Speaker 1: paintings a little more. Uh.
- 32:54Speaker 2: There, we might need some more iTunes reviews to get
- 32:56Speaker 2: him on the hook. I think he might be like, hmm.
- 32:59Speaker 1: These uh, these murals have been cited as evidence by
- 33:03Speaker 1: conspiracy conspiracy theorists, conspiracy dearities, conspiraty dewties that there is
- 33:09Speaker 1: either a secret Masonic Apocalypse shelter, an alien colony, or
- 33:13Speaker 1: a secret CIA base beneath passenger's feet, because again, that's
- 33:17Speaker 1: exactly how a secret CIA base would work. You want
- 33:21Speaker 1: to put clues and tip offs up top so people know.
- 33:24Speaker 2: I mean, that's kind of the thing about these. The
- 33:27Speaker 2: one thing that makes me, you know, skeptical about this
- 33:29Speaker 2: is one of the things that makes you skeptical about
- 33:30Speaker 2: this is like we used to have Norad inside the mountain, right,
- 33:33Speaker 2: and that was like a nukeproof fucking bunker with the
- 33:35Speaker 2: right systems in it. But now the nuclear bonds we
- 33:37Speaker 2: have would just vaporize that mountain instantly. I mean, I
- 33:40Speaker 2: feel like that the Denver Port bumbakers might keep you
- 33:43Speaker 2: safe if like North Korea nuke Denver with like their
- 33:45Speaker 2: like shitty like swap meat like Plute right right, you know,
- 33:48Speaker 2: but if any like name brand country like nuke's Denver,
- 33:52Speaker 2: they're gonna have a much more powerful like this is
- 33:54Speaker 2: I feel like sixteen miles outside of town. I think
- 33:56Speaker 2: that's still toast.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I think you would have to though, if there
- 34:03Speaker 1: was say, let's say there was just a massive people
- 34:05Speaker 1: hiding under the Denver Airport in the event of an apocalypse,
- 34:09Speaker 1: you would have to bomb those bunkers directly to guarantee
- 34:14Speaker 1: you're gonna kill all those people. Just because of the
- 34:17Speaker 1: way we researched it for an episode of Pretty Scary
- 34:21Speaker 1: and the way nuclear weapons work if you're underground when
- 34:25Speaker 1: that blast goes off, as long as you stay underground
- 34:28Speaker 1: long enough for the fallout to pass, you'll totally survive. Really, Like,
- 34:33Speaker 1: there's a really interesting New York Times article.
- 34:37Speaker 2: You would have to google it.
- 34:38Speaker 1: I always forget the name of it, but it's about
- 34:40Speaker 1: this study that came out. I think it was Department
- 34:44Speaker 1: of Homeland Security did this study. And if there was
- 34:47Speaker 1: a nuclear blast in Los Angeles, obviously everyone within the
- 34:52Speaker 1: blast radius is going to die. But if the people
- 34:55Speaker 1: outside the blast radius, if everyone just took shelter in
- 35:00Speaker 1: their car for as long as it would take the
- 35:03Speaker 1: fallout to pass, we would lose like one hundred thousand people, which.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Really like once you get out to like Sam Reddino
- 35:11Speaker 2: or wherever.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Well, the further out you get, the better you are.
- 35:15Speaker 1: And if you're the.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Only good, the only time, it's good to live in
- 35:17Speaker 2: Beaumont exactly.
- 35:19Speaker 1: And if if we were in this building and a
- 35:21Speaker 1: nuclear weapon went off, if we could just get to
- 35:24Speaker 1: the hallway and kind of chill there while the fallout passes,
- 35:28Speaker 1: which could be a matter of like a day or
- 35:31Speaker 1: two at most, you'll live. Like it's a nuclear war
- 35:35Speaker 1: is a very survivable thing. A lot of what we
- 35:39Speaker 1: think that's crazy. A lot of what we think about
- 35:41Speaker 1: nuclear war is based on science from the eighties, like
- 35:46Speaker 1: the idea of a nuclear winter. For that to happen,
- 35:51Speaker 1: these a series of firestorms would have to which are
- 35:55Speaker 1: a real thing that nuclear weapons cause.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Where there's jetstream on fire.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Yeah, there's just so many fires that it kind of
- 36:03Speaker 1: turns the atmosphere into fire.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Yeah, but that would have to.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Happen almost globally for a nuclear winter scenario to happen,
- 36:12Speaker 1: like if North Korea were to bomb Alaska. Unless they're
- 36:16Speaker 1: really fucking accurate, there's a chance they might not even
- 36:20Speaker 1: kill anybody, because if it, like a nuclear weapon that
- 36:24Speaker 1: explodes above the surface doesn't create that nuclear fallout. Nuclear
- 36:29Speaker 1: fallout happens when a bomb hits the surface and surface
- 36:33Speaker 1: material flies up with all this radioactive material and becomes
- 36:37Speaker 1: radioactive itself and gets distributed.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Throughout the world via wind and whatnot.
- 36:43Speaker 1: But when it explodes above the surface, like what happened
- 36:46Speaker 1: to Hiroshima, the casualties are mostly just going to be
- 36:51Speaker 1: the people on the ground in the direct path of
- 36:54Speaker 1: the bomb. That's why there wasn't like massive fallout that
- 36:57Speaker 1: affected other cities after World War Two. After we drop
- 37:00Speaker 1: the bombs on World War two, and it would kind
- 37:02Speaker 1: of be the same thing here.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Interesting. So it's like if you if you, if you
- 37:06Speaker 2: pop one off in the upper atoms for you, you
- 37:08Speaker 2: create an EMP.
- 37:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:10Speaker 2: I always am scared about.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Yeah, because again, how do we podcast?
- 37:16Speaker 2: Again? That's really this is really all that this comes
- 37:18Speaker 2: down kind of all I've got going on.
- 37:20Speaker 1: I wonder if they have podcast studios in the bunkers
- 37:23Speaker 1: under the Denver Airport.
- 37:24Speaker 2: Am I gonna have to become like three Dog from
- 37:26Speaker 2: Fallout and play the same twelve songs while I make these?
- 37:30Speaker 2: Isis jokes? I hope not.
- 37:32Speaker 1: I would be into that, though it would be. It
- 37:34Speaker 1: would be fun, be a good bit. Yeah, carry you
- 37:36Speaker 1: through the apocapyse.
- 37:36Speaker 2: I think I could get a lot of mileage out
- 37:38Speaker 2: of the character, don't get me wrong. Yeah, certainly not
- 37:40Speaker 2: going to be turning down any opportunities from the Illuminati,
- 37:43Speaker 2: but uh yeah, I mean I could distribute my cassettes.
- 37:46Speaker 2: I guess my podcast cassettes.
- 37:49Speaker 1: So let's talk about these murals. Uh, they're called in
- 37:53Speaker 1: Peace and Harmony with Nature and the other one is
- 37:57Speaker 1: called Children of the World Dream of Peace. And they've
- 38:00Speaker 1: been at the center of these conspiracy theories. Uh, for
- 38:04Speaker 1: as long as these conspiracy theories have existed.
- 38:07Speaker 2: And they kind of look like the liner notes for
- 38:08Speaker 2: like a shitty Herbie Hancock album. Yeah, yeah, right and weird.
- 38:13Speaker 1: And then you but then you look at them closer,
- 38:16Speaker 1: and there's a lot of violence.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Oh yeah, there's literally a robot Nazi stormtrooper stabbing a
- 38:24Speaker 2: dove in the taint with a scimitar while a city
- 38:26Speaker 2: burns around.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Him with an assault rifle in his hand, and while
- 38:29Speaker 1: children cry underneath him.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Oh yes, I lost that detail because I was looking
- 38:35Speaker 2: at the scimitar tainting of a dove.
- 38:40Speaker 1: And then there's also oh why is this happening?
- 38:42Speaker 3: There we go?
- 38:43Speaker 1: Uh, there's also in the left panel of Children of
- 38:47Speaker 1: the World Dream of Peace, children from many cultures come
- 38:51Speaker 1: together to destroy swords and daggers that are sheathed in
- 38:54Speaker 1: the flags of many nations. In the smaller right panel,
- 38:57Speaker 1: a menacing soldier impales with saber while branching a machine gun,
- 39:02Speaker 1: and theorists point to the German fascist type soldier killing
- 39:07Speaker 1: peace with his saber and forcing the other countries to
- 39:11Speaker 1: give up their weapons and submit to the New World Order.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Yeah, if you look at these pictures individually, you're like, Okay,
- 39:17Speaker 2: that's very clearly a condemnation of wars evil, and then
- 39:21Speaker 2: that's clearly saying we should all just But if you
- 39:22Speaker 2: look at them together, it's like, oh, yeah, I'm going
- 39:24Speaker 2: to force you to pretend to be happy and disarm
- 39:27Speaker 2: you know. Yeah.
- 39:28Speaker 1: And the thing is, even if the you know what, people,
- 39:32Speaker 1: the defense of this is that these are murals that
- 39:36Speaker 1: are meant to be taken as one long, continuous story.
- 39:40Speaker 1: And even if that's the case, it's a terrifying fucking story.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Like there's some dark before we get to all the
- 39:47Speaker 1: rainbows and happy kids at the end. Oh yeah, and
- 39:50Speaker 1: none of it seems good, no, like the even the
- 39:53Speaker 1: part where the kids are destroying flags of other nations,
- 39:57Speaker 1: like that seems like some New World ordershits.
- 40:00Speaker 2: It's like anything. It's like a corporate rebranding where it's like, yeah,
- 40:03Speaker 2: I guess McDonald's can try to sell itself as a
- 40:05Speaker 2: classier place, but we're gonna have to pretend that aoli
- 40:07Speaker 2: is good for a long time. And this I was thinking,
- 40:11Speaker 2: if you're gonna have a one world government like the
- 40:13Speaker 2: I really think the best flag would just be the
- 40:15Speaker 2: futurama flag where it's the American flag when instead of
- 40:17Speaker 2: the stars, it's the globe. Yeah. I really think I
- 40:19Speaker 2: don't think you could top that. I think that's perfect.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Yeah, that would be Yeah that and that's probably what
- 40:24Speaker 1: it will be.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Yeah, It'll probably just be like a blue flag, you know,
- 40:28Speaker 2: a blue flag with the globe in the middle of it. Yeah.
- 40:30Speaker 2: I think that's probably gonna have. I think that. I
- 40:32Speaker 2: think I'm very just gonna start to see the beginnings
- 40:34Speaker 2: of that in my lifetime.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean maybe we are already with the Denver Airport. Yeah,
- 40:40Speaker 1: could have already started, right.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Uh, They're just gonna shake the etchr sketch and then
- 40:44Speaker 2: go wait for shit to cool off in the fucking vaults.
- 40:47Speaker 1: So the the subject matter, the thing about these murals
- 40:50Speaker 1: is that this artist, this is kind of his thing.
- 40:54Speaker 1: He is a Denver based Chicano artist who, throughout his
- 40:58Speaker 1: career has combined symbol from history and mysticism with the
- 41:02Speaker 1: techniques of the twentieth century Mexican muralist. Quick name your
- 41:06Speaker 1: favorite twentieth century Mexican muralist.
- 41:09Speaker 2: The Diamond Street gangsters in my neighborhood. They keep the
- 41:13Speaker 2: property values low so they don't build more tower block
- 41:16Speaker 2: apartments by graffiti and everything.
- 41:18Speaker 1: That's a good choice. Yeah, it's like fantastic choice. He
- 41:22Speaker 1: frequently separated the context of his work kind of from
- 41:28Speaker 1: the creation, and this, he says, tells a hopeful story
- 41:33Speaker 1: of peace and environmental stewardship following times of war and pollution. So,
- 41:39Speaker 1: you know, conspiracy types really focus on the negative, but
- 41:43Speaker 1: there's positive in those pictures too. Still creepy as shit, though, like,
- 41:47Speaker 1: you're never gonna convince me.
- 41:50Speaker 2: I think I think you can get that message across
- 41:52Speaker 2: maybe and not quite as poignant away without making it
- 41:54Speaker 2: super creepy, especially because this is a very public space.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Right If you're pinning a mural on an entry school
- 42:00Speaker 2: and you know it's just a cheatah decapitating a drug dealer,
- 42:03Speaker 2: it's like, well, yeah, I think drugs are bad, but
- 42:05Speaker 2: I don't know if this is the best way to
- 42:06Speaker 2: sell this to the community.
- 42:08Speaker 1: I would have been psyched if that was on the
- 42:10Speaker 1: side of my school though.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Oh I saw it. Every kid, Yeah, PTA would get
- 42:14Speaker 2: their dix and a bunch about it.
- 42:17Speaker 1: One of the things people do point out about this
- 42:19Speaker 1: theory and how up and arms people get about the
- 42:23Speaker 1: art is that there's plenty of boring art around the
- 42:25Speaker 1: Denver Airport. Also, it's you know, there's a statue of
- 42:29Speaker 1: an astronaut.
- 42:30Speaker 2: There's a I didn't name brand astronaut either, A yeah,
- 42:33Speaker 2: Jack Swigert, not even a Michael Collins.
- 42:36Speaker 1: You know, he's probably the one who time traveled forward
- 42:40Speaker 1: to tell them what they needed to build to protect
- 42:43Speaker 1: us in the Denver Airport.
- 42:45Speaker 2: You guys got to legalize weed. Maybe a couple of
- 42:48Speaker 2: three story buildings, you know. I think they do this.
- 42:50Speaker 2: I think this is what's gonna happen to my dystopian
- 42:52Speaker 2: sci fi novel. They have a big like Ted Talk
- 42:55Speaker 2: type thing in Denver and everybody like a G twenty
- 42:58Speaker 2: sum at almost yeah, And there's like a is AC
- 43:00Speaker 2: festival where they have all the time some of the
- 43:02Speaker 2: most prestigious musicians and like you know, cam and all
- 43:05Speaker 2: this stuff. And then they're like they're having an after
- 43:07Speaker 2: party and they're like, all right, get on the train.
- 43:09Speaker 2: What get on the train? Trust us? And then and
- 43:13Speaker 2: then they get to the airport. And then the movie
- 43:14Speaker 2: follows one guy who like snuck in and bullshooted any
- 43:16Speaker 2: street worthy that people are gonna find out that he's
- 43:18Speaker 2: not one of the special ILLUMINAI he seem to have
- 43:20Speaker 2: five hundred thousand and one people here, is that right?
- 43:23Speaker 2: So odd?
- 43:26Speaker 1: So the uh yeah, let's talk about those bunkers.
- 43:29Speaker 2: Yeah. Uh.
- 43:30Speaker 1: There are theories that hidden beneath the airport's underground baggage
- 43:33Speaker 1: transport tunnels is a secret bunker or series of bunkers,
- 43:38Speaker 1: designed to house billionaires and global political elite in the
- 43:42Speaker 1: event of an apocalypse.
- 43:43Speaker 2: That's mostly just an abandoned hallway where the janitors play
- 43:45Speaker 2: with all the confiscated throwing part stars from people to
- 43:48Speaker 2: carry on. So I think, yeah, yeah, it's of Illuminati
- 43:50Speaker 2: going on down here, fucking drinks a Colt forty five
- 43:53Speaker 2: tries to hit a cardboard box with a Ninja star.
- 43:56Speaker 1: But at the same time, it doesn't it make sense
- 43:58Speaker 1: that a place like this would exist. Definitely, I'm I'm
- 44:05Speaker 1: probably gonna get together and be like, okay, so where
- 44:07Speaker 1: do we go, Like we like we know it's gonna happen,
- 44:10Speaker 1: Where do we go when it happens?
- 44:11Speaker 2: Like that's their version of roommates, Like even like rich
- 44:13Speaker 2: people like, look, we're gonna need to go in with
- 44:15Speaker 2: Oprah and Brad pitt On the bump.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Yeah you know, yeah, so it uh. Granted, some people
- 44:21Speaker 1: also believe it's where the lizard people aka the reptoids
- 44:27Speaker 1: basic uh, and others believe there's evidence of an alien
- 44:32Speaker 1: cover up or special facility down there, which I still
- 44:38Speaker 1: if I'm picking between those, I like apocalypse bunker, My
- 44:42Speaker 1: most bunker makes the most sense to me, Like everything
- 44:45Speaker 1: about the way that airport is set up makes apocalypse
- 44:48Speaker 1: bunkers seem like the most sense.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Yeah, And if I I believe that intelligent life exists,
- 44:55Speaker 2: but I don't think that. I think they're real laissez
- 44:57Speaker 2: fair with humanity. I don't think they've ever visited I
- 44:59Speaker 2: doubt yeah have you know, And I think if I was,
- 45:02Speaker 2: if I was going to, I would I think that,
- 45:03Speaker 2: you know, like, it sounds silly because it's a fucking,
- 45:06Speaker 2: you know, television show, but uh, the prime directive seems
- 45:10Speaker 2: like a pretty good, you know, m for this kind
- 45:11Speaker 2: of thing. Like I'd be pretty fans off unless they
- 45:14Speaker 2: like because I used to try to do a joke
- 45:15Speaker 2: about this until no one realized thought it was funny
- 45:17Speaker 2: at all. Is that? Oh, why the only stupid people
- 45:20Speaker 2: and rednecks get abducted by aliens. Well that's who I
- 45:23Speaker 2: would go abduct the dumbest people. And I'm like, all right,
- 45:25Speaker 2: Kletius isn't ready for the warp drive yet. Once the
- 45:27Speaker 2: lowest common denominator is on the average, you know, enough
- 45:32Speaker 2: to handle the technology, and then maybe we'll start telling
- 45:34Speaker 2: them about the you know, cosmic neighborhood. Yeah, completely has
- 45:37Speaker 2: nothing to do with the Denver Airport. Adam's too efficient
- 45:41Speaker 2: and the show would be really short if I wasn't
- 45:43Speaker 2: here so periodically. I just to talk about jerking off
- 45:47Speaker 2: on the bus. Yeah, we need this so people get
- 45:49Speaker 2: their money. Just canceled stand up comedy routines about rednecks. No, absolutely,
- 45:54Speaker 2: I think uh, I'd like it's over bud place for
- 45:58Speaker 2: the symbolism. Isn't as convincing to me? Is the overbudget stuff? Right?
- 46:02Speaker 1: The the over budget and just why do you need
- 46:05Speaker 1: that much space? Like why did it need to be
- 46:08Speaker 1: in the middle of nowhere? Why did you need it
- 46:10Speaker 1: in the first place?
- 46:11Speaker 2: Not gonna be cheaper. I mean it's like, you know,
- 46:13Speaker 2: the vacant lot is a vacant lot, and I mean
- 46:15Speaker 2: it's maybe there's a slight surcharge for proximity to Denver
- 46:18Speaker 2: but I mean, you've also got to ship millions of
- 46:20Speaker 2: pounds of fucking building materials out there and bust all
- 46:23Speaker 2: your labor back and forth.
- 46:25Speaker 1: And the the explanation at first when they were, you know,
- 46:29Speaker 1: doing all of this underground work, was that there was
- 46:33Speaker 1: gonna be this multi million dollar automated baggage system that
- 46:38Speaker 1: these tunnels were supposed to be designed for. And that
- 46:42Speaker 1: never happened. Those never like, they never worked, and now
- 46:46Speaker 1: now your teenagers throwing shit onto a fucking go kart
- 46:48Speaker 1: like it's and so the tunnels are are still there.
- 46:55Speaker 1: Workers on the tunnels have reported evidence of bunker entrances
- 46:59Speaker 1: and unexplained tunnels. There are actually about a thousand people
- 47:02Speaker 1: who work in the various levels underneath the Denver Airport,
- 47:06Speaker 1: ferrying luggage among ticket counters, planes, and baggage claim areas
- 47:10Speaker 1: in a pair of seven thousand foot long tunnels that
- 47:13Speaker 1: run alongside the airport's underground trains. These were not immediately
- 47:18Speaker 1: ready to use upon the airport's opening. Airport workers have
- 47:21Speaker 1: been known to don lizard masks as pranks while the
- 47:24Speaker 1: media are on tour That's just awesome, including one caught
- 47:27Speaker 1: on camera by Fox thirty one. KDVR Denver in a
- 47:32Speaker 1: video that has since been circulated, often uncredited as evidence
- 47:36Speaker 1: of the underground Lizard People's existence.
- 47:39Speaker 2: What are these trains in tonals allegedly even for? Is
- 47:42Speaker 2: it just to transport personnel and supplies? Or yeah? I
- 47:47Speaker 2: mean are they just funneling the cinnabon packets through there? Like?
- 47:50Speaker 2: Have you?
- 47:51Speaker 1: Like those in the tunnels are weird, Like even the
- 47:53Speaker 1: tunnels have weird like artwork, and they have those crazy
- 47:57Speaker 1: fans that are used to propel the the trains along.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Are you sure you're not thinking of Willy Wonko when
- 48:03Speaker 2: they physy listening to that could be? Yeah, it could be.
- 48:07Speaker 1: That's yeah, it's bizarre. Yeah, it's super bizarre. Like there's
- 48:10Speaker 1: obviously something down there. They wouldn't have moved that much dirt.
- 48:14Speaker 2: I mean, the only thing that makes me feel like
- 48:15Speaker 2: this is, uh, you know, there's plausible deniability. Is like
- 48:18Speaker 2: with like government infrastructure projects, a lot of like stupid
- 48:22Speaker 2: shit just gets like, you know, someone bowls a favor
- 48:26Speaker 2: and then this guy gets this contract and he tells
- 48:28Speaker 2: them that they need an underground automated luggage system, right,
- 48:31Speaker 2: you know, so I can't tell if I hope this
- 48:33Speaker 2: is real or not. I mean, I know I'm not
- 48:35Speaker 2: making the cut, like yeah.
- 48:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I hope it is, Like I want
- 48:39Speaker 1: this to be a real thing just because I want
- 48:41Speaker 1: I want that moment, because you know, there's gonna be like,
- 48:44Speaker 1: depending on what kind of disaster happens, there's gonna be
- 48:47Speaker 1: like generations who are born down there.
- 48:49Speaker 2: Yeah, and they find have a bunch of like mole children. Yeah.
- 48:52Speaker 1: They finally realize there's something above the surface and they're like, Papa,
- 48:56Speaker 1: what's up there. He's like, it's a sabarro Son food
- 49:02Speaker 1: court quality pizza that's so funny.
- 49:04Speaker 2: Upper level. They go up there and he's like, daddy wise,
- 49:08Speaker 2: it's seven dollars for a toothbrush. Now this has gone
- 49:12Speaker 2: from like a deep comedy by the nature of government
- 49:15Speaker 2: to just us being traveling comedians that are just mad
- 49:18Speaker 2: they didn't bring their own cliff bar.
- 49:22Speaker 1: So let's end by watching a quick clip of the
- 49:27Speaker 1: Jesse venture because Jesse Ventura. Did you watch his conspiracy
- 49:31Speaker 1: theory show?
- 49:31Speaker 2: I didn't know it exists until I watched this clip,
- 49:33Speaker 2: but it's pretty amazing. It's actually pretty great. No better
- 49:38Speaker 2: man to take his home than Jesse, No, no, oh,
- 49:41Speaker 2: my god, you forget how bald and how ponytail he is.
- 49:45Speaker 3: That's nineteen Stapleton Airport, which seemed to be just fine.
- 49:51Speaker 3: And they didn't just lay down runways and build terminals. No,
- 49:56Speaker 3: they've got enough fiber optic cables to cover a city.
- 50:00Speaker 2: A refueling system that's.
- 50:02Speaker 3: Much bigger than any airport one that's weird. Underground tunnels
- 50:06Speaker 3: you can drive trucks through.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Maybe they're going to be using people.
- 50:09Speaker 3: See it happens to be in the middle of a big, flat,
- 50:12Speaker 3: vacant piece of land called my.
- 50:14Speaker 2: Force of eighty. You got roasted Jesse.
- 50:21Speaker 4: When Jesse arrives, j Widner is there to meet him.
- 50:25Speaker 1: Internet, that's old bullshit artist.
- 50:27Speaker 4: Yeah, Widener is a renowned twenty twelve conspiracy expert.
- 50:31Speaker 1: There's no such thing as a renowned twenty twelve conspicuouscy.
- 50:34Speaker 2: It looks like a bootleg Richard Dawkins. I'm not hard
- 50:36Speaker 2: to find.
- 50:37Speaker 1: Oh so in this episode, I guess we were supposed
- 50:39Speaker 1: to be living in this thing by twenty twelve.
- 50:41Speaker 2: Okay, oh really, novel.
- 50:44Speaker 3: Now this is the symbol of the Freemasons, right it is.
- 50:48Speaker 2: I remember my history teacher telling us about twenty twelve
- 50:50Speaker 2: and seventh grade when I was like eleven and just
- 50:54Speaker 2: blew my mind the woods to the new world order.
- 50:59Speaker 3: That says new World Airport Commissions.
- 51:02Speaker 2: That's great.
- 51:02Speaker 3: Yes, those are strange words. New World Airport Commission. Yes,
- 51:07Speaker 3: who are they?
- 51:08Speaker 2: And that's actually the sixty.
- 51:09Speaker 5: Four million dollar question because we can't find that out. O.
- 51:12Speaker 2: Okay, all right?
- 51:15Speaker 4: What's around the corner? Ignored by thousands of travelers each day,
- 51:20Speaker 4: yet displayed in plain sight we've seen.
- 51:24Speaker 3: The hell is this? Why would someone put this in?
- 51:28Speaker 2: Well, like you always like reacting to this, like he
- 51:29Speaker 2: didn't get a folder full of ships before the shoots.
- 51:32Speaker 5: That's the mother of all solar flares.
- 51:35Speaker 3: All the kids are crying and they're holding on and
- 51:37Speaker 3: they're looking. I mean, this is literally almost all.
- 51:41Speaker 2: I did was try to read them a bedtime story.
- 51:44Speaker 1: We'll be destroyed by fire, And there it's on my
- 51:47Speaker 1: lap all the time.
- 51:49Speaker 2: It's not just it, guess even through it sounds both
- 51:51Speaker 2: intimidating and like a complete imbecile. Yeah, like he's both
- 51:55Speaker 2: threatening and also completely harmless.
- 51:57Speaker 5: Strange motif of Ian symbolism mixed in with this end
- 52:03Speaker 5: of the world motif, which actually explains the purpose of
- 52:08Speaker 5: Denver Internet.
- 52:08Speaker 2: This guy like near like one good vocabulary where it
- 52:11Speaker 2: was his motif. Yeah, like that'll float the rest of
- 52:13Speaker 2: this bullshit.
- 52:15Speaker 1: And like I get why me and you aren't interviewing
- 52:18Speaker 1: the artist who painted Beast because we don't have the
- 52:21Speaker 1: budget in the time to line ship like that up. Yeah,
- 52:25Speaker 1: they could have done that. You're got to talk to
- 52:27Speaker 1: the guy. This part's fun the most secure. This is
- 52:31Speaker 1: an entrance called America's Fortress into the Cyenne Mountains, which
- 52:36Speaker 1: apparently officials planned.
- 52:39Speaker 2: I thought America's Portress was Hillary Clinton's mural since Chelsea
- 52:45Speaker 2: was born in a.
- 52:46Speaker 5: Basement and all these people are refugees and the Lord
- 52:50Speaker 5: of Death with the Eagle and the AK forty seven
- 52:54Speaker 5: is killing the dove of people.
- 52:55Speaker 1: Oh well, the part where we're letting refugees into the
- 52:57Speaker 1: country in the future doesn't seem realistic at all.
- 53:00Speaker 4: The machine gun, he's already here, already guarding the twenty
- 53:05Speaker 4: twelve bunkers.
- 53:06Speaker 2: They couldn't even make that guy look bad ass, but that.
- 53:08Speaker 4: Camera every shocking confirmation of the doomsday plans.
- 53:12Speaker 1: We probably will have the blast forest clothes by the
- 53:14Speaker 1: time you get.
- 53:14Speaker 2: Here, so I knocking on them will do me no good.
- 53:17Speaker 3: You can knock all day.
- 53:18Speaker 4: Long, Farns evidence that construction for the government's predicted apocalypse
- 53:23Speaker 4: is still underway.
- 53:25Speaker 2: What in the hell are those?
- 53:27Speaker 3: Those are absolutely for a tunnel.
- 53:30Speaker 1: What's weird If that was just a person wearing shoes
- 53:34Speaker 1: that just looked like big, big, you know, steel boxes,
- 53:36Speaker 1: there's probably for irrigation.
- 53:37Speaker 2: Jesse. Those are absolutely for a tunnel. You couldn't fit
- 53:41Speaker 2: in those, jess Yeah, it's not a dress. I wanted
- 53:44Speaker 2: to call him by his first nan to be is
- 53:46Speaker 2: Jesse short for anything?
- 53:47Speaker 1: I thinks, so Jessica. I don't know, Yeah, it'd be funny. So, yeah,
- 53:52Speaker 1: that's the Denver Airport. I still I.
- 53:55Speaker 2: Know this one is like if if I'm a MythBusters,
- 53:58Speaker 2: I rate it plausible.
- 53:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, because especially the part, like no one ever
- 54:02Speaker 1: brings up that there's an entrance to these bunkers that's
- 54:04Speaker 1: really heavily guarded like that this is one of those things.
- 54:08Speaker 2: Well you're gonna heavily goage just about anything of an airport.
- 54:10Speaker 1: Well, yeah, that's but guarded by the military, which.
- 54:14Speaker 2: Even then, Yeah, I don't know if you can really
- 54:17Speaker 2: get a rent a cop to guard a tunnel. Underneath,
- 54:19Speaker 2: you know, Yeah, airport, which is you know, basically a
- 54:21Speaker 2: place where you think about planes as weapons that you
- 54:24Speaker 2: know that have been proof of concept hijacked before. Like, yeah,
- 54:28Speaker 2: you do not have to try to debunk too hard.
- 54:29Speaker 2: But I mean just the fact that it's sober budget,
- 54:32Speaker 2: so sprawling, so out in the middle of nowhere. I mean,
- 54:34Speaker 2: all the symbolism is fun. I don't know how incriminating
- 54:38Speaker 2: that is, but I mean it certainly doesn't detract from
- 54:40Speaker 2: the idea that there might be something down there.
- 54:43Speaker 1: Yeah, And I think from from here it's just a mission.
- 54:49Speaker 1: The mission in life is to just try and have
- 54:51Speaker 1: Denver Airport bunker money before we die.
- 54:55Speaker 2: Yeah, that's really that should be a tier on the
- 54:58Speaker 2: Patreon as once we get to X a month, gonna
- 55:00Speaker 2: be we'll get our We'll get into the club thirty

- 55:11Speaker 2: dad's pretty pretty fucking swanky man. Yeah, sold so much
- 55:14Speaker 2: shit with the logo on it.
- 55:16Speaker 1: I have a friend who is on the track to
- 55:20Speaker 1: maybe getting in.
- 55:21Speaker 2: Oh is it?
- 55:21Speaker 1: Travis Clerk it is Travis Clark. Yeah, yah, yeah, he
- 55:23Speaker 1: said he's not supposed to talk about it because I
- 55:25Speaker 1: brought it up on a podcast for him. You're ridiculous,
- 55:30Speaker 1: But uh, maybe I'll get in with Travis someday.
- 55:33Speaker 2: Yeah, that would be cool. I feel like that's kind
- 55:35Speaker 2: of the like the uh the minor league team for
- 55:39Speaker 2: Denver where you get Club thirty three, you know, and
- 55:41Speaker 2: then you gotta have like Adultum platinum member, you know.
- 55:45Speaker 1: And then you get that bunker. Yep, we gotta get one.
