- 0:00Speaker 1: Toyota presents Off the Bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Okay, here we go.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Well, the plays get broken down and science gets denied.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Off the Bench Hour two of Off the Bench Live
- 0:12Speaker 1: from the Raising Kine Studio.
- 0:48Speaker 3: All Right, welcome back in our number two O TV
- 0:53Speaker 3: here on this Thursday morning. Look, it's the pointed that
- 0:58Speaker 3: nobody really wants to jump in on the Dennis Allen
- 1:00Speaker 3: hate this week. I know he's not the head coach
- 1:02Speaker 3: of the Bears. He's a defensive coordinator.
- 1:05Speaker 4: Did I not give him enough during his tenure?
- 1:07Speaker 2: No, it's never.
- 1:09Speaker 5: You're totally right, Chi, I.
- 1:11Speaker 4: Don't think I could ever chill out on the Dennis
- 1:13Speaker 4: Allen hate. I have like a deep hatred for at
- 1:15Speaker 4: this point.
- 1:15Speaker 5: Be thankful he's not here anymore.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I mean, true, true, But.
- 1:21Speaker 3: How cool would it be if rat Dad went up
- 1:23Speaker 3: there and put it on him. I would love it
- 1:25Speaker 3: and scored a lot of points coming up?
- 1:32Speaker 2: I think he kind of had like I think he
- 1:35Speaker 2: had one last week.
- 1:36Speaker 3: I know they lost, but but this is this like
- 1:40Speaker 3: a this could be I'm waiting.
- 1:42Speaker 4: For Kendre Miller's revenge game.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. Here is going to take a hard
- 1:48Speaker 2: left on one of his runs scored there.
- 1:52Speaker 6: Yeah, target chance that Camara doesn't play this week.
- 1:58Speaker 7: I know.
- 1:58Speaker 2: I know because he found himself the injury report.
- 2:00Speaker 6: And he has not practiced in two days. Yeah, so.
- 2:06Speaker 8: Running hard as hell. Yeah, my god, it's gonna be
- 2:09Speaker 8: great now. I think breakout games. What I'm talking about
- 2:12Speaker 8: is I think he's you know, we've we've seen him
- 2:14Speaker 8: high completion percentage, low interceptions, operating at a very very
- 2:18Speaker 8: high level, operating the offense, more deep shots, more chances.
- 2:21Speaker 8: But I'm talking about quite statistically a breakout game like
- 2:25Speaker 8: he played great last week, but still zero zero touchdown,
- 2:28Speaker 8: zero interceptions, right, I am talking about like a three
- 2:31Speaker 8: four touchdown type game where the receivers catch them. Yeah,
- 2:36Speaker 8: the receivers catch them. That would be idea fun fun
- 2:40Speaker 8: like that if they like get open and make up
- 2:42Speaker 8: play and then when they do makeup play, you don't
- 2:43Speaker 8: get a holding call.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Yeah, y'all think, really, Dennis Allen is going to attack.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I got Caesar.
- 2:55Speaker 4: I was gonna say, it's gonna be the lie.
- 2:57Speaker 5: He knows the weakness of the week.
- 3:01Speaker 3: He's like, hey, guys, I feel really good about our
- 3:04Speaker 3: pressure package this week.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Why coach trust me, because.
- 3:08Speaker 8: We're gonna rush see fifty one over there, We're gonna
- 3:10Speaker 8: rush four guys.
- 3:13Speaker 4: I need us to like really just I don't know
- 3:16Speaker 4: if the Saints can do it. I want to like
- 3:19Speaker 4: run up the score on them, because remember when he
- 3:21Speaker 4: apologized to Arthur, when Dennis Allen apologized.
- 3:25Speaker 2: To our Jamis.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Yeah, yes, I want to run up the score on
- 3:28Speaker 4: Dennis Allen and run over this defense so hard.
- 3:31Speaker 2: But I just you gotta be able to.
- 3:33Speaker 4: But yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 3:35Speaker 8: I just there's gonna be a game, there's gonna be
- 3:37Speaker 8: a season where the offense just goes off.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:40Speaker 5: There.
- 3:43Speaker 6: As far as completion percentages, the Bears have the second
- 3:46Speaker 6: highest completion percentage against them, seventy three point six. Only
- 3:50Speaker 6: team mores that's the Dolphins. Really the Dolphins is seventy three.
- 3:54Speaker 6: The Dolphins are seventy four point nine percent completion against them,
- 3:58Speaker 6: and then the Bears are second with seventy three point
- 4:00Speaker 6: six thirteen touchdowns against them. Their defense has eight picks.
- 4:06Speaker 6: So I mean, they ain't great, and.
- 4:11Speaker 4: They seem like they really love Kellen Moore that we
- 4:13Speaker 4: played that post game speech in the locker room and
- 4:17Speaker 4: it just seems like they want to really get behind him.
- 4:20Speaker 4: So they need to do this for Kellen and they
- 4:22Speaker 4: need to get revenge on Dennis Allen.
- 4:24Speaker 6: Would anybody like to guess where they ranking yards per carrey?
- 4:28Speaker 2: Whew?
- 4:29Speaker 6: This is Chicago Bears defense. Where are they ranking twenty
- 4:34Speaker 6: eight thirty first and the second worst?
- 4:37Speaker 2: Wow?
- 4:37Speaker 5: Five point seven yards perk price is right?
- 4:39Speaker 2: Rules?
- 4:39Speaker 5: I win five point seven per carry?
- 4:42Speaker 2: Fair? You got it? Okay, So it could be a
- 4:45Speaker 2: Kendred game. Look that was how like how sweet would
- 4:48Speaker 2: that be?
- 4:49Speaker 3: And like I was, I was calling out Kenduraman because
- 4:51Speaker 3: I'm like, hold up, man, wait, like what's going on here?
- 4:54Speaker 3: It just turns out like he really just did not
- 4:57Speaker 3: vibe and jibe with Dennis Allen those things that Dennis
- 4:59Speaker 3: Allen that obviously, Like I've talked to people around the organization.
- 5:02Speaker 3: We're like, no, that wasn't handled the right way. And
- 5:05Speaker 3: he's played well. I mean, he hasn't had a ton
- 5:07Speaker 3: of opportunities, but you can tell. I mean his first
- 5:10Speaker 3: like preseason carrier. I remember Flintechs in the group and
- 5:12Speaker 3: being like, oh, okay, I get it. I understand why
- 5:15Speaker 3: they're being patient with him.
- 5:16Speaker 8: Yep, I got a I got of just a random thought,
- 5:22Speaker 8: like I'm not a big like analytics guy. I don't
- 5:25Speaker 8: really like I can't claim to be an expert when
- 5:27Speaker 8: it comes to just like general manager like GM, maneuvers
- 5:32Speaker 8: team like knees teams, salary caps, cap hits. I'm not
- 5:36Speaker 8: an expert at that. Like I just kind of call
- 5:37Speaker 8: it like I see it. And there's something out there
- 5:40Speaker 8: in the NFL that kind of intrigues me. We always
- 5:43Speaker 8: we've been talking about the Saints being like one game changer,
- 5:47Speaker 8: one playmaker away from being a relevant team, not a
- 5:50Speaker 8: championship team. Let's not get it twisted. We don't think
- 5:53Speaker 8: it like we're one player away from being but from
- 5:55Speaker 8: you know, Nick said it on the other day on
- 5:56Speaker 8: our show, like we're one past ca your playmaker away
- 6:00Speaker 8: from having a chance to win two more games, being
- 6:04Speaker 8: three and three.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Incredibly fair too, because incredibly I there's three games that
- 6:08Speaker 3: you could so if you win two of the three.
- 6:10Speaker 8: So there's a there's a person out there in the
- 6:12Speaker 8: NFL that is very disgruntled about which team he is
- 6:16Speaker 8: on and he is a game changer. And oh yeah,
- 6:19Speaker 8: he also played with Kellen Moore last year. AJ Brown
- 6:24Speaker 8: the Philadelphia Eagles. I don't know if there is a world,
- 6:26Speaker 8: Like I said, I'm not an expert at salary cap
- 6:29Speaker 8: and all the compensation stuff, but if there's a world
- 6:32Speaker 8: that you have a guy that has disgruntled where he is,
- 6:36Speaker 8: and like, I started pulling up some quotes from him,
- 6:38Speaker 8: and this is a quote from last year, last winter,
- 6:40Speaker 8: after they won the Super Brown from aj Brown after
- 6:43Speaker 8: the Eagles won the Super Bowl, was before they got
- 6:46Speaker 8: their rings. He said, I've never been a champion at
- 6:50Speaker 8: the highest level before, but I thought my hard work
- 6:53Speaker 8: would be justified by winning at all. It was not.
- 6:56Speaker 8: My thrill for the game comes from when I dominate.
- 7:00Speaker 8: So you got a guy saying, like cool one of
- 7:04Speaker 8: the Super Bowl is great, Like I want to be
- 7:06Speaker 8: the guy, And he's not ever going to be the
- 7:09Speaker 8: guy in Philadelphia. He might have games where he's the guy.
- 7:13Speaker 8: So I'm sure there's a lot of teams based on
- 7:15Speaker 8: this picking up the phone at Colin. If the Saints
- 7:18Speaker 8: aren't one of them, I don't know what you got
- 7:20Speaker 8: to do. But if we're saying what is worth having
- 7:24Speaker 8: one dominant guy with a young quarterback with a brand
- 7:26Speaker 8: new head coach, it's already coached this guy. I guess
- 7:28Speaker 8: the success with Killimore. What's to stop them from going out? Like,
- 7:32Speaker 8: what would be worth it? Would you trade a Chris
- 7:35Speaker 8: o Lava plus a second round pick?
- 7:37Speaker 2: Would you? Like? What is the price?
- 7:39Speaker 3: I actually think the second round pick is what teams
- 7:42Speaker 3: expected to take, just a second round pick.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Right.
- 7:44Speaker 8: The problem is is like with a guy like AJ
- 7:47Speaker 8: Brown or your team Chris Alave becomes really good, probably
- 7:50Speaker 8: like really good.
- 7:51Speaker 3: So what if you could I mean it's a lot
- 7:53Speaker 3: of what is but what if you go backage Rashid
- 7:55Speaker 3: chi heat who's expiring contract and second round?
- 8:00Speaker 8: Of course you're not going to give up a first
- 8:01Speaker 8: round pick like this year because it's gonna be really high.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Yeah you wouldn't do that, Yeah you would, only you
- 8:07Speaker 3: would only do that for like five players.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Currency something like I don't know, I don't know if
- 8:13Speaker 2: AJ would a J. Brown?
- 8:14Speaker 8: Like that's the thing in the past, like the Saints.
- 8:18Speaker 8: The Saints is not ten target's minimum game, right, like.
- 8:22Speaker 2: The New Orlean States.
- 8:23Speaker 8: And this is this is like a knock on sitting
- 8:26Speaker 8: a knock on anything specifically, but it's not like a
- 8:28Speaker 8: desirable destination always for trades and free agencies.
- 8:33Speaker 3: People don't know, and and just from my friends that
- 8:36Speaker 3: have played here after being somewhere before, people don't know
- 8:41Speaker 3: that it is a good spot to play in, in
- 8:44Speaker 3: a good spot to be in until they get here.
- 8:46Speaker 3: I don't know, like you might have a completely different story,
- 8:49Speaker 3: but I just know of of my teammates that played
- 8:52Speaker 3: somewhere else and found their way to New Orleans. They
- 8:54Speaker 3: weren't very excited about it when it happened. They had questions, concerns,
- 8:58Speaker 3: and then ended up really enjoying their experience with the organization.
- 9:02Speaker 2: They don't know the cost of living. They love that, right.
- 9:06Speaker 3: There's a lot of things that are like oh, food, culture,
- 9:08Speaker 3: blah blah whatever, like darren Sproles.
- 9:10Speaker 8: Loved, but they would come because I guys like drew
- 9:13Speaker 8: here like there was success being happened, like with a
- 9:15Speaker 8: recent non success. That's why I like, I don't want
- 9:17Speaker 8: any tank situation for an early drafting, because you're not
- 9:20Speaker 8: gonna get any free agents that way or any people.
- 9:22Speaker 8: That's a lot of times when a team trades a guy,
- 9:25Speaker 8: they asked that guy like, are you cool with this trade?
- 9:27Speaker 8: Sometimes they don't mind. Yeah, so it's uh, it's look,
- 9:32Speaker 8: I think you got a little juice. You got a
- 9:34Speaker 8: coach that he's familiar with. AJ Brown is familiar with.
- 9:37Speaker 8: It was his offensive coordinator last season. Yeah, you got
- 9:39Speaker 8: a guy that directly after the Super Bowl says, I'm
- 9:41Speaker 8: not happy with this. I want to be targeted. I
- 9:44Speaker 8: want to be the guy. So I don't see that
- 9:45Speaker 8: situation getting better.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Maybe it is. I don't know.
- 9:47Speaker 8: Maybe that was just like a random one off comment
- 9:50Speaker 8: that he regretted afterwards.
- 9:51Speaker 2: I don't know, just reading into it.
- 9:52Speaker 8: But AJ Brown one of the most dominant receivers, could
- 9:55Speaker 8: be one of the most dominant receivers in the league
- 9:57Speaker 8: right now. I'm looking at and this is don't take
- 10:00Speaker 8: this with a great assault because I'm giving you some
- 10:02Speaker 8: fantasy football statistics here, but from like what he wants
- 10:05Speaker 8: as in dominating or taking over a football game, it
- 10:08Speaker 8: kind of plays in this correlation of fantasy football. Yeah,
- 10:12Speaker 8: he is forty two, ranked forty two in wide receivers
- 10:15Speaker 8: in fantasy football and non PPR leagues this year, and
- 10:18Speaker 8: in PPR leagues he's ranked thirty seven. Yeah, in non
- 10:21Speaker 8: PPR he's ranked behind the league neighbors who's been hurt.
- 10:24Speaker 8: Yeah for a while, hadn't played three weeks. Yeah, so
- 10:28Speaker 8: forty two and it should be probably a top five guy.
- 10:31Speaker 3: I mean he's from Startville, like he's from Starville, so
- 10:36Speaker 3: like he's from somewhere very close.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Yeah. Now if I'm watching from a Brown, I'm watching
- 10:40Speaker 2: this as closer home as he could get.
- 10:42Speaker 8: I'm watching Spencer Ratler and I'm watching seeing Kellen Moore there,
- 10:46Speaker 8: Like I would be open to it. Yeah, maybe it's
- 10:48Speaker 8: not as sexy as like get traded to the Steelers
- 10:52Speaker 8: or Rams or something like that.
- 10:53Speaker 4: But like, so I had thought about the A J.
- 10:55Speaker 4: I'm like, I would love like we can trade Olave
- 10:58Speaker 4: Shaheed whoever for a J. Brown. But then I was like, well,
- 11:02Speaker 4: the Steelers are looking for a receiver, and I just
- 11:04Speaker 4: don't know. Yeah, I don't know.
- 11:06Speaker 9: Maybe Roger's throwing to you, but I just I don't
- 11:09Speaker 9: know if the Saints would be a desirable place. And
- 11:12Speaker 9: I don't know if Mickey Loomis or the front office
- 11:15Speaker 9: is smart enough to make that happen.
- 11:17Speaker 5: I don't know if they're willing to give up what
- 11:18Speaker 5: you would have to do. They gave him a.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Fourth round pick for a guy that doesn't play though, received.
- 11:22Speaker 6: You're true true point. I mean well, maybe that's their thing. Hey,
- 11:25Speaker 6: we gave up for this guy, came well.
- 11:27Speaker 5: Back to bite us.
- 11:28Speaker 2: It shouldn't be, but try to make that guy part
- 11:31Speaker 2: of the trade.
- 11:32Speaker 6: Right they're out because like, okay, I agree with you
- 11:37Speaker 6: on aj Brown.
- 11:38Speaker 5: The problem is if you don't get him, where do
- 11:40Speaker 5: you go from there?
- 11:40Speaker 6: Because like there's guys that want to be traded, like
- 11:43Speaker 6: came out yesterday, Kobe Myers hadn't been in practice all week.
- 11:47Speaker 5: Raiders might move him. I don't know if he's a
- 11:49Speaker 5: game change.
- 11:50Speaker 8: You go, you go, you go for a guy, you
- 11:52Speaker 8: go for a dude, you go for a top five
- 11:54Speaker 8: to ten guy or nobody.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Right now, I think.
- 11:56Speaker 5: I'm just I'm just worried that they go that route.
- 11:57Speaker 6: They're like, oh, Kobe Myers is young, he's like paper,
- 12:00Speaker 6: let's get him, and it doesn't really do anything for you.
- 12:02Speaker 6: He's sent back to back thousand yard years. He's a
- 12:04Speaker 6: good player, but he's kind of Chris.
- 12:06Speaker 8: You only go for a guy that you say, can
- 12:08Speaker 8: I plug and play him? And if if he would
- 12:10Speaker 8: have been here six games ago, I believe we'd be
- 12:14Speaker 8: three and three instead of one and five more that
- 12:17Speaker 8: is yeah.
- 12:21Speaker 2: See, I'm at that staff basically just.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Like again, like I don't I don't know what what
- 12:27Speaker 3: the trade would look like. But if you do move
- 12:28Speaker 3: on from Rachiici just because of his contract and he's
- 12:31Speaker 3: going to be a free agent and you don't believe
- 12:32Speaker 3: that you can get to his number, whatever whatever. To
- 12:36Speaker 3: Matt's point, I do think not only would you get
- 12:39Speaker 3: an A. J. Brown, but Chris Olave would. His game
- 12:42Speaker 3: would actually translate better with the option that he would
- 12:45Speaker 3: become in the offense, The routes that you could run
- 12:47Speaker 3: with him would be better because A. J. Brown would
- 12:50Speaker 3: be the guy running those routes that he's right now,
- 12:52Speaker 3: and you could do a lot of different things with this.
- 12:54Speaker 2: That's that's what we're saying.
- 12:55Speaker 8: Get like, if Alave gets traded, get ready to be
- 12:58Speaker 8: pissed off Saints fans because he's going to go somewhere
- 13:00Speaker 8: and be good because he won't be the one.
- 13:02Speaker 4: We talked about that yesterday.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:04Speaker 6: Well, and I see a lot of people that Chad saying, no,
- 13:06Speaker 6: keep Shiheed. Look I get that, I like Shahi. His
- 13:09Speaker 6: problem is his contract's about to run out. He will
- 13:13Speaker 6: be a free agent, and if you want to keep him,
- 13:16Speaker 6: you don't have to pay up a little bit of
- 13:17Speaker 6: cheese to get him.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Now, he might be thirteen million, fourteen million a year.
- 13:21Speaker 5: If you don't now of his speed, you don't trade
- 13:24Speaker 5: him now.
- 13:25Speaker 6: You either have to pay him a lot, which they
- 13:26Speaker 6: don't want to do, or you're gonna have to let
- 13:28Speaker 6: him walk.
- 13:29Speaker 5: Like, if you want to make a move, she might
- 13:31Speaker 5: have to be the guy. No shah Truther.
- 13:33Speaker 4: So I would love to keep it too.
- 13:34Speaker 2: I would too. I would keep him.
- 13:37Speaker 4: This is like my own opinion is probably a bad one,
- 13:39Speaker 4: but I would keep him.
- 13:40Speaker 5: Over a lave if you had a guy.
- 13:45Speaker 8: If you don't just think I just think that a
- 13:47Speaker 8: lave is probably going to be really good with a
- 13:49Speaker 8: true one receiver.
- 13:51Speaker 2: You think he's going to be really really good.
- 13:54Speaker 4: I mean now for Shahizo because he doesn't really have
- 13:58Speaker 4: a one either.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Dude, do I.
- 14:00Speaker 8: Wish from all, But if you're making a move to
- 14:04Speaker 8: get that type of guy, you got to give something.
- 14:07Speaker 8: Both sides got to be a little bit unhappy with it.
- 14:09Speaker 2: But I feel like, oh god, yeah, exactly.
- 14:13Speaker 8: So like and the one cap thing I did look
- 14:17Speaker 8: at was that if they traded, if the Eagles traded
- 14:20Speaker 8: aj Brown this year, they would have dead cap space
- 14:23Speaker 8: of almost twelve million dollars. But let the Eagles lose
- 14:29Speaker 8: this week to Carson Wentz and the Vikings, and see
- 14:32Speaker 8: what kind of two years ago.
- 14:33Speaker 2: This happened to them in the Eagles.
- 14:36Speaker 8: They spiraled, They had a disaster, They lost their.
- 14:43Speaker 6: Last seven regular season games, stumbled into the playoffs, and.
- 14:47Speaker 5: Then the Bucks, who were a wild card, beat them.
- 14:49Speaker 8: It was like a historical like eight in a row,
- 14:51Speaker 8: melt lost. So like just think, so they got that
- 14:56Speaker 8: in their DNA. Now they fixed it last year obviously,
- 14:59Speaker 8: and let's not let's it's not like poopy on the
- 15:00Speaker 8: Eagles because there's still a really great team. Hate to
- 15:03Speaker 8: push dush push toushush push, oh, push to tush.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:08Speaker 8: Uh so I don't know, but let him lose and
- 15:11Speaker 8: let that noise start getting. That noise is starting to
- 15:13Speaker 8: get a little loud with aj Brown. Let it get
- 15:15Speaker 8: a little bit louder because then they're talking about like
- 15:16Speaker 8: if you cut him, I think it's like a forty
- 15:18Speaker 8: million dollar cap, like dead cap hit. So they trade
- 15:21Speaker 8: him almost well, which is a lot, but still we
- 15:24Speaker 8: see worse.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Sold sold it. We make the deal.
- 15:28Speaker 4: So Brown, the Saints.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Mickey listen to Mickey. If you live in the Saints,
- 15:34Speaker 2: what if you're.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Listening to Mick take a round pick for a j Brown,
- 15:39Speaker 3: You gave a fourth rounder up for Receie.
- 15:41Speaker 2: If that doesn't play about it, that's one of the
- 15:43Speaker 2: chants that you gave up a second round of workub true,
- 15:47Speaker 2: she can andes you and Tyler shuck again.
- 15:52Speaker 3: By the way, fortieth overall, I'll fade again doesn't guarantee

- 16:02Speaker 2: You could be there for the whole time, but you don't.
- 16:05Speaker 3: You don't move things out of positions that are going

- 18:48Speaker 3: All right, welcome back here in OTV Live here from
- 18:53Speaker 3: the Raizy Cane Studio. I want to remind you about
- 18:57Speaker 3: our friends over at Supreme right, Supremerice dot com. Different
- 19:03Speaker 3: options for you to choose from long game grain, medium
- 19:05Speaker 3: grain our favorite, to jasmine right.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Remember you can.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Pick it up at Rouse's, you pick it up at Walmart,
- 19:11Speaker 3: your local ag source. It is always going to be
- 19:13Speaker 3: available there. And just because LSU's on the road doesn't
- 19:17Speaker 3: mean you're not gonna have a watch party. And what
- 19:19Speaker 3: is every watch party in Louisiana needs jasmine rice, Well,
- 19:23Speaker 3: any kind of Supreme rice, but certainly jasmine jasmine would
- 19:26Speaker 3: be a go to. And also that weather a little scooch,
- 19:29Speaker 3: oh little scoons. What does that mean? That means a
- 19:32Speaker 3: little gumbo. Now, I can eat gumbo in any weather.
- 19:34Speaker 3: But you know what I'm saying, you can enjoy some
- 19:36Speaker 3: good gumbo with some good Supreme rice at two pays.
- 19:39Speaker 3: I mean, you name it, you can get it done.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Go to Supremerice dot com. Here in south west Louisiana.
- 19:46Speaker 3: You go to Crowley, Louisiana. Man, Supreme Rice is everywhere.
- 19:49Speaker 3: They support the local community. You should support them. And
- 19:52Speaker 3: oh yeah, the rice is delicious. That also helps Supreme
- 19:55Speaker 3: Rice dot com.
- 19:56Speaker 8: What's your go to type of rice when you make
- 19:59Speaker 8: a gumbo.
- 20:02Speaker 3: I'm gonna be honest, like so our house and we
- 20:04Speaker 3: keep it on stock like we go jasmine with everything
- 20:07Speaker 3: that I'm not that's not even it's jasmine for us.
- 20:12Speaker 2: The boys love it. I love it.
- 20:13Speaker 8: I don't know, honestly, I'm trying to think Bill the
- 20:20Speaker 8: gears turned. I don't think we've ever purchased, actually actually
- 20:23Speaker 8: purchased jasmine rice or not we I'm like I said
- 20:26Speaker 8: this before, it's it's a little uh. People don't people
- 20:32Speaker 8: don't love this. But my go to is medium grain. Buddy,
- 20:35Speaker 8: it's not their grain. I know that long grains like
- 20:38Speaker 8: the tradition. I get it, but I just love the
- 20:41Speaker 8: medium grain texture.
- 20:43Speaker 3: Well, there you go, and you get options, go to
- 20:45Speaker 3: Supreme Rice dot com. I do love the fact that
- 20:48Speaker 3: we were having a conversation and it started with Dennis
- 20:52Speaker 3: Allen hate week. Then it went to Kendre Miller running
- 20:55Speaker 3: over Dennis Allen on the sideline, and it went to
- 20:57Speaker 3: a k maybe being out, so Kendre is gonna get
- 21:00Speaker 3: it some more time. And then it went to like
- 21:01Speaker 3: a Spencer Rattler, small kind of conversation too, Let's trade
- 21:04Speaker 3: Chris Olive Shahi maybe for a J.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Brown.
- 21:07Speaker 3: And then I think we convinced ourselves by the end
- 21:09Speaker 3: of the segment walking out that AJ Brown is basically
- 21:12Speaker 3: on the same he's the Saints.
- 21:13Speaker 8: Yeah, absolutely, He'll be looking for houses near the park
- 21:17Speaker 8: pretty soon.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Heard it here first, heard it here first?
- 21:21Speaker 8: I think again, we got no clue, Like, what kind
- 21:25Speaker 8: of the Cap spaces?
- 21:27Speaker 3: I know we can look it up, well, says the
- 21:29Speaker 3: Caps kind of fake anyway, Look at the Eagles can
- 21:31Speaker 3: have all those players, Okay, we.
- 21:33Speaker 8: Can have a little bit. Yeah, good one, get out
- 21:35Speaker 8: of here. I wonder what Kellen's relationship is with Aj
- 21:38Speaker 8: the text sweet.
- 21:40Speaker 6: Nothing, it's probably good. He got a ton of passes
- 21:46Speaker 6: last year. Yeah, I mean it's probably pretty good.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Huh.
- 21:50Speaker 8: You know what else, if you want to dominate, if
- 21:53Speaker 8: that's like your golf, that's what keeps you going. Every
- 21:55Speaker 8: player has their why. We had somebody to say that
- 21:58Speaker 8: tell it, give us a speech about that. In the NFL,
- 22:00Speaker 8: you have your why, like in usually in college and
- 22:03Speaker 8: high school, like you played the why because your competitor.
- 22:05Speaker 8: You play for your like you you play to win,
- 22:08Speaker 8: that's your why, like you're a team.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Sometimes in the NFL, you got a lot of guys.
- 22:12Speaker 8: That play to win. They want the team to be successful.
- 22:15Speaker 8: You got a lot of guys that play for money.
- 22:17Speaker 8: You got a lot of guys that play for family.
- 22:19Speaker 8: You got a lot of guys that play for individual
- 22:21Speaker 8: stats and trophies and success and accolades. And they're like,
- 22:25Speaker 8: it doesn't matter what it is, whatever it is, you
- 22:28Speaker 8: play for your why, you know. And so if his
- 22:30Speaker 8: why is individual stats and to be that guy to dominate,
- 22:34Speaker 8: if he likes it, that's what gets him going. Awesome,
- 22:37Speaker 8: cool embrace that come plain a dome.
- 22:40Speaker 3: Yeah, that's such a good that's a great point about
- 22:42Speaker 3: the why, because everybody's why is different.
- 22:44Speaker 2: And don't judge anybody's why.
- 22:46Speaker 8: Like if a player in the NFL plays hard because
- 22:49Speaker 8: he wants to get a big contract, So what.
- 22:51Speaker 2: What is your why? Like why am I here? You
- 22:58Speaker 2: have one?
- 22:59Speaker 8: Oh, I don't know what, Like like playing football, mine
- 23:03Speaker 8: was just more competitive just I wanted to be I mean,
- 23:06Speaker 8: it was a job, so certainly I wanted to make
- 23:08Speaker 8: a living.
- 23:09Speaker 2: I would have done it for a lot less money. Yeah,
- 23:12Speaker 2: I would.
- 23:12Speaker 8: I would have done it for if if I would
- 23:16Speaker 8: if I could have said agreement, I would have done
- 23:17Speaker 8: it for whatever I could. Same thing if I was
- 23:21Speaker 8: just tired of like bouncing, Like yeah, I get that.
- 23:24Speaker 8: I get that.
- 23:25Speaker 3: My one of my big wise was like you can
- 23:28Speaker 3: impose your will on somebody else.
- 23:30Speaker 2: I legally you can do that. Like that's that's fun.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Just that's what Like that's good.
- 23:36Speaker 3: Yeah, And that's the part that you miss too, is
- 23:38Speaker 3: just like having that Like now, when you get mad
- 23:40Speaker 3: at somebody, there's nothing you can really do about it,
- 23:43Speaker 3: you know, if you're a grown adult, it's like, well
- 23:45Speaker 3: you can, but then you get arrested.
- 23:46Speaker 2: It's that's not fun, right, Like.
- 23:48Speaker 3: Just having that about it fun and you and you
- 23:51Speaker 3: think about like what you're able to get away with,
- 23:53Speaker 3: and it's like somebody says something and you're like, you know,
- 23:56Speaker 3: we've got like thirty more plays left in this game, right,
- 23:59Speaker 3: Like you know there's going to be a way that
- 24:00Speaker 3: I'm going to find you somewhere in here. It's like
- 24:03Speaker 3: those little individual battles and look, sometimes after a game,
- 24:06Speaker 3: like it'd be like, hey, meadheads out, Hey, that was fun, bro,
- 24:11Speaker 3: Like I hated you for sixty minutes.
- 24:13Speaker 2: I hated you, And sometimes it leans a little bit
- 24:16Speaker 2: out of the way you compete.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, like some of the best ones that you
- 24:20Speaker 3: played against. It's like, man, I really like I respect
- 24:22Speaker 3: the hell out of the way that you play football,
- 24:24Speaker 3: Like I hated you for like the entire game, Like
- 24:27Speaker 3: I was saying so many bad things about you.
- 24:30Speaker 2: But what was the guy's.
- 24:32Speaker 3: Name from uh San Francisco defensive lineman Missouri basic name,
- 24:41Speaker 3: Justin from Missouri Justin SMI. Oh yeah, that guy, Justin Smith.
- 24:45Speaker 2: You remember him.
- 24:47Speaker 3: He was a psycho for sixty minutes, so good. He
- 24:50Speaker 3: got kicked out of two different times. He got kicked
- 24:52Speaker 3: out of our game when we played the forty nine ers,
- 24:54Speaker 3: but afterwards he'd be like, hey, respect the hell man.
- 24:59Speaker 3: One time he hit me with the hey man for
- 25:01Speaker 3: a little fella, you bring it?
- 25:04Speaker 2: Hit me with the little fella. Yeah, me for the
- 25:06Speaker 2: little fella. I'm like, yes, sir, that guy Like but
- 25:10Speaker 2: those are the guys. Like he was sixty minute animal.
- 25:13Speaker 2: He would go to a place where he would lose
- 25:15Speaker 2: his mind. Yep.
- 25:17Speaker 3: And I don't think he was there, but like that's
- 25:19Speaker 3: that was his why, Like he had to, That's what
- 25:21Speaker 3: he had, what he looked for.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Want legally hurt people. What's fine.
- 25:24Speaker 3: And then after the game he'd give your your props.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Now that's the way. If you didn't show up and
- 25:28Speaker 3: you were kind of but you know what, he'd also
- 25:31Speaker 3: call you out after the game. Call it like we
- 25:33Speaker 3: had we had a teammate. I'm not gonna put a
- 25:35Speaker 3: name on him. We had a teammate that was starting rivers. Yeah,
- 25:38Speaker 3: because Philip never wanted to smoke. Philip would be getting
- 25:41Speaker 3: in fights for everybody. We had a guard who didn't
- 25:44Speaker 3: play a whole lot and he had to come into
- 25:46Speaker 3: that game like after the game, like justin Smith one time,
- 25:50Speaker 3: he's like, hey, man, if you want to stay in
- 25:51Speaker 3: this league.
- 25:52Speaker 2: You gotta get a whole lot tougher.
- 25:54Speaker 3: And it actually like that guy that played that position whatever,
- 25:59Speaker 3: he was probably going to be out of the league
- 26:01Speaker 3: pretty soon, but like he had that as a mess motivation.
- 26:05Speaker 3: He got a little motivation. He got like five more
- 26:07Speaker 3: years out of the league. He straight up say he say, hey, man,
- 26:09Speaker 3: if you want to stay here, you gotta be a
- 26:10Speaker 3: whole lot tougher.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Yeah. I was like, let's you gotta be better. There
- 26:13Speaker 2: is a way to handle it, and that's the way
- 26:15Speaker 2: to handle it. Call a couple of the Saints leven.
- 26:17Speaker 8: You go beat up on people, you compete, and then
- 26:19Speaker 8: after the game you shake their hands. You don't do
- 26:21Speaker 8: it like Brian Branch for the Lions did this past
- 26:23Speaker 8: week Lions versus Chiefs. I know we also we hadn't
- 26:26Speaker 8: talked about him in this show, but what a pretty
- 26:27Speaker 8: good little fight.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Pretty good little fight.
- 26:30Speaker 8: Right afterwards, he did not shake hands. He just went
- 26:33Speaker 8: and punched. Was it Juju?
- 26:37Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 26:37Speaker 3: And then Juju was actually like I'm gonna flop here
- 26:41Speaker 3: like like Vottie de Vat and he's like, oh no,
- 26:43Speaker 3: I can't go out like that. Then he tried to
- 26:45Speaker 3: like go in and get some and then it was
- 26:46Speaker 3: like kind of too late. Then ended up on the
- 26:47Speaker 3: ground with a bloody lip, and.
- 26:49Speaker 8: Yeah, he did kind of like flop because nobody's ever
- 26:52Speaker 8: been punched that hard in the history of humanity.
- 26:54Speaker 2: I don't think where right, And he's like why why
- 26:56Speaker 2: that flop?
- 26:56Speaker 3: And he's like, oh, I get a penalty now, yeah,
- 26:58Speaker 3: and he's like, oh, I got to go, like I
- 27:00Speaker 3: gotta go do something. And then like you know, Juji's
- 27:02Speaker 3: like a TikTok guy. No, no direspect to him. That's
- 27:04Speaker 3: what he is. And he ended up with a bloody lip.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Wouldn't good. So it's good.
- 27:09Speaker 8: Like when you get in fights like that, it's good
- 27:11Speaker 8: to have your homet on because you know, punching helmets
- 27:13Speaker 8: is tough. But it's also bad because they get ahold
- 27:16Speaker 8: of that face mask. You kind of go where your
- 27:18Speaker 8: head goes, just saying not that now as a quarterback.
- 27:22Speaker 8: So didn't get in a lot of fights. What if though,
- 27:29Speaker 8: I'll protect the money maker here.
- 27:36Speaker 2: I don't trust Corbett. I won't get in a fight.
- 27:39Speaker 2: I mean I'd kind of get in there. I talk.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Yeah, the best part about all the trash that Philip
- 27:48Speaker 3: would talk and like he you know, he'd be ready
- 27:50Speaker 3: to but like he would talk it for us sometimes
- 27:54Speaker 3: and the player would get mad at us even though
- 27:57Speaker 3: we didn't say it.
- 27:59Speaker 2: You know what I mean, you can't listen to Philip.
- 28:01Speaker 2: I didn't say that, I know, like, give you a linebacker. Hey,
- 28:05Speaker 2: you're gonna let twenty two run over you like that again.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Hey, hey, twenty twenty two is coming for I'm like Philip.
- 28:12Speaker 2: My number out, oh branch.
- 28:17Speaker 8: He'd get a game, by the way he did for that, right, Yeah,
- 28:20Speaker 8: he got a game.
- 28:20Speaker 3: I was hoping, like in that whole fight situation with
- 28:23Speaker 3: the Chiefs and the Lions, I was hoping like we
- 28:24Speaker 3: would get a really good Dan Campbell over the top
- 28:27Speaker 3: something like I wanted Dan Campbell basically to fight a
- 28:32Speaker 3: current player.
- 28:32Speaker 2: See who win. Yeah, I mean there's a code out there.
- 28:34Speaker 8: There's a code of conduct out there, like if you
- 28:36Speaker 8: want to fight, like people get games. People get suspensions
- 28:39Speaker 8: for fighting during the game after plays like that is
- 28:42Speaker 8: the I mean, I'm not saying it's acceptable when you
- 28:44Speaker 8: do that, but at least it's between the game that
- 28:47Speaker 8: started the game and the end of the game. Yeah, hey,
- 28:50Speaker 8: this one was a little bit I thought. I thought
- 28:52Speaker 8: there's a potential he might get a little bit more
- 28:54Speaker 8: than one game, because it was it's that unspoken code
- 28:58Speaker 8: like after the game's over, like we're not fight and
- 29:00Speaker 8: after the game, like let's fight during the game if
- 29:02Speaker 8: you want to fight, Like, let's do it during the
- 29:04Speaker 8: game where there's penalties that out there, that there's soletly
- 29:07Speaker 8: some sort of policing happening. So I thought, just because
- 29:11Speaker 8: it was kind of that like code, that unspoken code
- 29:13Speaker 8: like after the game, that could have been a little.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Bit more than one.
- 29:17Speaker 3: I thought it was going to be a three game,
- 29:18Speaker 3: if I'm being honest with Yeah, yeah, I did too,
- 29:20Speaker 3: which would have been solved.
- 29:21Speaker 8: I wasn't like asking for it. Yeah, I just thought
- 29:24Speaker 8: it was going to be.
- 29:27Speaker 2: All right.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Before we step away, take this break, when reminds you
- 29:30Speaker 3: about our friends over at ktoo z blinds dot com.

- 30:12Speaker 3: do this, it's gonna help this. And we've been blown
- 30:14Speaker 3: away with the customer service that we've gotten every single time.
- 30:17Speaker 3: Go to ktoz Blinds dot com. A programming note that
- 30:22Speaker 3: I'm gonna share with the team because I forgot Chef

- 30:27Speaker 3: got a nine fifteen meetings. So our munchies segment will
- 30:30Speaker 3: be at nine am today, so we're moving that up
- 30:33Speaker 3: fifteen minutes. Still going to catch up with Chef. Then

- 31:11Speaker 3: don't want to be calling seventeen different people. You want

- 32:09Speaker 1: Locked in on LSU football twenty four to seven, you're
- 32:12Speaker 1: listening to off the Bench.
- 32:20Speaker 3: All right, welcome back in OTB here live in the
- 32:22Speaker 3: Rais Kain studio, looking at the slates in college football
- 32:28Speaker 3: coming up this weekend.
- 32:30Speaker 2: You got a sneaky game on.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Friday night, little freaky Friday matchup between Louisville and Miami.
- 32:36Speaker 3: This one is going to be at hard Rock Stadium,
- 32:39Speaker 3: Miami thirteen and a half point favorite. Remember the Louisville
- 32:42Speaker 3: ran the football all over Miami a year ago. Now,
- 32:46Speaker 3: Miami certainly shored up some of their front seven issues
- 32:49Speaker 3: really on both lines scrimmage. Miami's interesting because they're five
- 32:54Speaker 3: to zero, number two team in the country.
- 32:57Speaker 2: They yeah, that dog will hunt. They beat Notre Dame,
- 33:01Speaker 2: they beat South Florida, they beat Florida, they beat Florida State.
- 33:04Speaker 3: So even though some of those teams aren't who we thought,
- 33:07Speaker 3: maybe they would be still good wins for Miami. And
- 33:12Speaker 3: as they get ready for the rest of their schedule,
- 33:16Speaker 3: they are going to be big favorites, I think in
- 33:19Speaker 3: the rest of their games. Maybe not at SMU. We'll
- 33:21Speaker 3: see what that line looks like. They're going to be
- 33:23Speaker 3: a favorite, but maybe maybe it's three and a half.
- 33:26Speaker 3: So you got Louisville Stanford at home, you go to SMU,
- 33:31Speaker 3: then you come back home for Syracuse and NC State,
- 33:34Speaker 3: then you go on the road for Virginia Tech and
- 33:36Speaker 3: Pitt it's pretty pretty nice little path favor for the
- 33:44Speaker 3: Miami Hurricanes.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Are you saying they've got a good path to the playoff?
- 33:48Speaker 3: Yes, because even if they look, if they win those
- 33:52Speaker 3: games and they face off against right now Georgia Tech
- 33:57Speaker 3: or Virginia in the a SEC Championship game, let's say
- 33:59Speaker 3: it's Orgia Tech and Georgia Tech beats them, You're still
- 34:02Speaker 3: in the playoffs. One lost Miami team is gonna absolutely
- 34:06Speaker 3: be in the playoff. If you're a Hurricane fan and
- 34:09Speaker 3: you're looking at what you have in front of you,
- 34:12Speaker 3: I think it's this week against Louisville and it's at
- 34:15Speaker 3: s m U and everything else. I don't want to
- 34:21Speaker 3: say you can have an easy time, but it ain't
- 34:22Speaker 3: gonna be.
- 34:23Speaker 8: Different, not gonna be bad. Weren't you on the Syracuse
- 34:26Speaker 8: train earlier before the quarterback got hurt.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 34:29Speaker 3: Yeah, their quarterback was leading the country and passing yards
- 34:33Speaker 3: before you got hurt, like the fourth week in the season.
- 34:37Speaker 8: So yeah, I mean, it must be nice to be
- 34:40Speaker 8: in the ACC, especially with you know, without.
- 34:43Speaker 2: It in there. Well SCHEDEAH and then schedules lists ACC and.
- 34:48Speaker 3: Look, I credit Miami because Miami did play notre Dame
- 34:50Speaker 3: in South Florida and Florida out of conference, so they
- 34:53Speaker 3: had they had some good games. Uh, but schedule and
- 34:56Speaker 3: balance is real. Like, let's look at what Georgia Tech
- 35:00Speaker 3: still has on their schedule. Okay, They've got at Duke, Syracuse,
- 35:04Speaker 3: at NC State, at Boston College Pitt and then Georgia
- 35:07Speaker 3: and the Mercedes Benz Stadium because they moved their game
- 35:10Speaker 3: from Bobby Dodd So for them, right, they don't get
- 35:14Speaker 3: Miami either. Now, they had Clemson and that certainly looked
- 35:17Speaker 3: different when that game happened. But even for Georgia Tech, now,
- 35:20Speaker 3: this game against Duke's going to be pretty difficult on
- 35:23Speaker 3: the road. Duke's figured some things out, many Diaz has
- 35:25Speaker 3: him played really well. They're three to zero conference play,
- 35:28Speaker 3: but you get past that, then it's like for the
- 35:30Speaker 3: rest of the way Syracuse, NC State, Boston College Pit
- 35:33Speaker 3: you're gonna be a favorite in those games. And you were,
- 35:37Speaker 3: i mean inches away from beating Georgia about seventeen different.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Times last year. Yep, on the road.
- 35:43Speaker 3: So the ACC right now, you've got undefeated teams in
- 35:47Speaker 3: conference play Georgia Tech, Virginia, Duke, SMU, and Miami.
- 35:53Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm looking at SMUs record right now, let's say
- 35:57Speaker 8: they lost to I don't know, do you you consider
- 36:02Speaker 8: losing a Baylor at home a good loss?
- 36:04Speaker 2: Forty forty five? Hey? Ky, they were up in that
- 36:07Speaker 2: game too, forty forty five.
- 36:08Speaker 8: And they lost the TCU at TCU thirty five to
- 36:11Speaker 8: twenty four. That's an intriguing matchup. It's a Saturday. You
- 36:16Speaker 8: got SMU at Clemson as well as Clemson. Are they
- 36:19Speaker 8: playing a little bit better? Are they finding their stride
- 36:22Speaker 8: a little bit?
- 36:23Speaker 3: They are playing better, but they've already got two losses
- 36:25Speaker 3: in conference play, Like what.
- 36:28Speaker 8: SMU at Clemson two thirty eight? Ye, so tough a
- 36:37Speaker 8: little bit to me? I probably I would go Clemson.
- 36:40Speaker 3: I do think that they had not They're they're not
- 36:42Speaker 3: the team that we thought they would be by any means,
- 36:44Speaker 3: and they've beaten two bad teams back to back. Now
- 36:47Speaker 3: I pontoon parlay Clemson right now, nine and a half
- 36:51Speaker 3: point favorite against SMU.
- 36:53Speaker 5: U is undefeated in the ACC.
- 36:55Speaker 6: Like they lost their first game of the year, but
- 36:57Speaker 6: like they figured it out a little bit, kind of
- 36:59Speaker 6: like Jake was talking about with Douke, Like they're they're
- 37:02Speaker 6: undefeated a c C play Clemson's fine.
- 37:06Speaker 5: But they're not nine and a half points.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Nine and a half. No way, they're not.
- 37:13Speaker 6: Is it that Clemson?
- 37:15Speaker 8: I mean, I still don't think that's They're gonna get
- 37:17Speaker 8: on the bus.
- 37:17Speaker 2: They're gonna run down their hill.
- 37:20Speaker 4: He's gonna blow his ac out, blows.
- 37:22Speaker 8: Leg out right there, then you got the inner and
- 37:27Speaker 8: bump if like he blows his leg out.
- 37:29Speaker 6: They lost a three point game to Baylor. That was
- 37:31Speaker 6: their first big game of the year. They lost to
- 37:34Speaker 6: t c U, who was playing really well at the time.
- 37:38Speaker 6: You have a win over Syracuse blow out when there
- 37:40Speaker 6: you just blew out Stanford like they're playing better.
- 37:45Speaker 2: It's a big number. That's a big number. It's a
- 37:49Speaker 2: yeah by half point as well. The par well this
- 37:55Speaker 2: is get a little half point there. They're gonna have
- 37:58Speaker 2: some juice to you. Caesus are.
- 38:01Speaker 3: So if the ACC right now is settled as far
- 38:05Speaker 3: as like we can find a path for Miami to
- 38:08Speaker 3: be in Charlotte for the ACC championship game, I do
- 38:12Speaker 3: want to take a break and come back and talk
- 38:14Speaker 3: about the Big Twelve. The Big Twelve's got a big
- 38:17Speaker 3: matchup with I think the best nickname of any rivalry
- 38:20Speaker 3: game that we have out there.
- 38:22Speaker 2: We'll break it down.
- 38:23Speaker 3: We'll talk about the Big twelve when we come back
- 38:26Speaker 3: here on OTB.
- 38:27Speaker 4: Okay, so remember the stab played, So off the bench,
- 38:33Speaker 4: Off the bench, all right?
- 38:36Speaker 2: Good? All Star toyat bat nuries dot Com.
- 38:38Speaker 3: Buying new, leasing, renting, everything is always available. So if
- 38:42Speaker 3: you want to go watch the Tigers play this fall
- 38:45Speaker 3: in Nashville, this weekend, not too late, in Tuscaloosa, in
- 38:48Speaker 3: a couple of weeks, in Norman, Oklahoma, whatever it might be,
- 38:51Speaker 3: you can rent a Toyota.
- 38:52Speaker 2: You can go watch them. Now.
- 38:53Speaker 3: Of course, everything is always available when you're buying new,
- 38:57Speaker 3: but also when you're leasing. That's what I currently do,
- 38:59Speaker 3: is what I've done for a long time with All Star.
- 39:01Speaker 3: That's what t Bob used to do with the murdered
- 39:03Speaker 3: out Mini. You can do that as well. Everything is
- 39:05Speaker 3: always going to be available to you, So go to
- 39:08Speaker 3: the website, find the vehicle that meets your needs, your
- 39:10Speaker 3: family's needs, and you can do it.
- 39:11Speaker 2: All Star Toye. That's right.
- 39:13Speaker 8: Let's talk about per day rentals too. How many dealers
- 39:16Speaker 8: car dealerships can you go and do per day rental prices?
- 39:19Speaker 8: And you might be thinking of yourself. I don't want
- 39:20Speaker 8: to do it from a dealer. It's probably way more
- 39:22Speaker 8: expensive than like going to the airport and getting one
- 39:23Speaker 8: of those national rental car companies. Now it's as better
- 39:27Speaker 8: or better per date rental prices, So go see then
- 39:29Speaker 8: you can run anything on the lot right there, all
- 39:32Speaker 8: Star Toyota of Adminton Rouge dot com.
- 39:46Speaker 1: You just two thousand and seven Champs Purple and Gold

- 40:48Speaker 3: Great weather outside, go hang out outside, Raise a beer,
- 40:53Speaker 3: raise two, make that beer a do sekis. It is
- 40:57Speaker 3: the perfect beer to kick your feet up on a
- 40:59Speaker 3: Saturday early in the day, but certainly time enough to
- 41:03Speaker 3: crack open a nice cold ice down dose Sekies for
- 41:08Speaker 3: that little football action coming up on Saturday. Keep letting
- 41:11Speaker 3: us know that you're enjoying those do sequis as well
- 41:13Speaker 3: when we're walking around the tailgates and raise the exes
- 41:18Speaker 3: well with that their new slogan, do we just make
- 41:22Speaker 3: that raise the.
- 41:22Speaker 4: Xes I don't see why that.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Like it. It's a it's a Keith not X what
- 41:34Speaker 2: I say X. They got a website too, fluming tell
- 41:39Speaker 2: you about one time. All right, the Big Twelve.
- 41:42Speaker 3: The Big Twelve, y'all kind of looked at me when
- 41:44Speaker 3: I said they had a game with one of the
- 41:46Speaker 3: best nicknames, the Holy War. Yeah, I mean, come on,
- 41:52Speaker 3: the Holy War. That's our nickname for our game.
- 41:54Speaker 2: Pretty good.
- 41:55Speaker 3: It is Utah, the number twenty three team in the
- 41:57Speaker 3: country traveling to Provo to take on the number fife
- 42:01Speaker 3: BYU undefeated Cougs in Utah three and a half point
- 42:06Speaker 3: favorite on the road against the undefeated team that's ranked
- 42:08Speaker 3: eight spots higher than them.
- 42:11Speaker 2: That's disrespectful.
- 42:13Speaker 3: You've also got Texas Tech traveling to Arizona State. You've
- 42:16Speaker 3: got Arizona in Houston, Baylor, TCU, West Virginia, UCF, and
- 42:21Speaker 3: Cincinnati and Oklahoma State. But it is the Holy War.
- 42:24Speaker 3: That is the game of the week in the Big Twelve.
- 42:27Speaker 3: And if you don't, if you don't dabble in the
- 42:30Speaker 3: Big Twelve, you need to h It is a great
- 42:32Speaker 3: brand of football. It's so much fun to watch, and
- 42:35Speaker 3: it's good football. And I think that Texas Tech is
- 42:39Speaker 3: probably going to be one of the spots. I think
- 42:41Speaker 3: they've certainly shown that they are worthy of a top
- 42:45Speaker 3: ten ranking. But BYU Cincinnati, Utah. Let's see if Arizona
- 42:49Speaker 3: State can get Sam Leavit back. We had Connor Wigman
- 42:53Speaker 3: on our show in the afternoon yesterday. He's the Houston quarterback. Now,
- 42:56Speaker 3: I mean, they are playing some good football. They're five
- 42:58Speaker 3: and one. It's going to come down to the wire
- 43:00Speaker 3: to see who can challenge Texas Tech for that other spot. Remember,
- 43:03Speaker 3: I mean, this is a guaranteed caust football playoff spot.
- 43:06Speaker 3: And who's to say you can't get too. Who's to
- 43:08Speaker 3: say you can't get to I mean again, you've got
- 43:10Speaker 3: four ranked teams. You've got number seven, fifteen, twenty three,
- 43:13Speaker 3: twenty four ranked teams in the country. So if you
- 43:16Speaker 3: haven't watched the Big Twelve, tune into it because it
- 43:19Speaker 3: is worth of view.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:20Speaker 8: The Big Twelve was one of those like conferences that
- 43:24Speaker 8: was just getting poached and poached. I mean, there are
- 43:26Speaker 8: two bread winners in Texas, Okla'm gona come to the
- 43:29Speaker 8: SEC they make Didn't they make a pact with the
- 43:32Speaker 8: PAC twelve.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Wasn't that the the.
- 43:34Speaker 8: The pack the handshake agreement, like this was a conference
- 43:40Speaker 8: mark for dead.
- 43:41Speaker 3: Like for a little while, everybody thought that it was
- 43:43Speaker 3: going to be what the PAC twelve is now exactly
- 43:46Speaker 3: they to go.
- 43:46Speaker 2: To go to the graveyard. Well, they're kind of like
- 43:50Speaker 2: that back. Their commissioner has done a really nice.
- 43:53Speaker 8: Great job, and they did it by maintaining a lot
- 43:57Speaker 8: of the teams, bringing some exciting teams in and just
- 44:00Speaker 8: creating a good brand and good football teams. Like every
- 44:03Speaker 8: team has like had to step it up and improve,
- 44:06Speaker 8: and that you could say that these programs in this
- 44:08Speaker 8: NIL world have improved. Certainly Texas Tech has enjoyed the
- 44:12Speaker 8: NIL money and that that whole world in all their sports.
- 44:15Speaker 8: So it's uh, I think we were talking about the
- 44:18Speaker 8: Big twelve leading up to this season. It's gonna be
- 44:20Speaker 8: like the the Power for Version of maction, Like it's
- 44:25Speaker 8: gonna be some wild situations happen, and it's gonna be
- 44:29Speaker 8: exciting games. You really don't know what you're gonna get.
- 44:31Speaker 8: You got exciting coaches, you got exciting players, you got
- 44:34Speaker 8: these a lot of teams that are pretty that are good,
- 44:38Speaker 8: that are pretty well evenly matched and like when they
- 44:40Speaker 8: go against each other You really don't know what's gonna happen.
- 44:44Speaker 8: So it is like if you said, if you don't
- 44:45Speaker 8: dabble in it, you should because it's exciting to watch.
- 44:48Speaker 2: It's like must watch TV a little bit.
- 44:49Speaker 8: So I'm excited about Texas Tech going out the Arizona State.
- 44:52Speaker 8: I'm excited about that matchup.
- 44:53Speaker 3: Yeah, there's some good ones out there in the Big
- 44:55Speaker 3: Twelve and again the Holy War BYU an underdog, and
- 44:59Speaker 3: BYU by the way they I mean, they play great
- 45:02Speaker 3: defense and they run the football, those travel those are
- 45:06Speaker 3: recipes for success, and they do it at a very
- 45:08Speaker 3: very high level.
- 45:09Speaker 2: This is not the old Big Twelve.
- 45:12Speaker 3: You look at like the points per game that teams
- 45:14Speaker 3: like BYU and Texas Tech and Utah give up. I mean,
- 45:17Speaker 3: there's some of the leaders in the country in total defense.
- 45:20Speaker 3: They have three teams that are in the top twenty
- 45:22Speaker 3: five of total defense in the country. You can never
- 45:25Speaker 3: say that about the Big Twelve before every game was
- 45:28Speaker 3: fifty five to fifty one. It's a different brand of football.
- 45:32Speaker 3: It's a little bit of a throwback style of football.
- 45:34Speaker 3: For the most part. You still got your Baylors and
- 45:36Speaker 3: other teams, but it's a lot of fun. Check out
- 45:38Speaker 3: the Holy Ward this week and looking forward to that matchup.
- 45:40Speaker 3: All right, we'll step away more our number three monchies
- 45:43Speaker 3: when we come.
- 45:44Speaker 1: Back off the bench.
