- 3:38Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So today's show we're gonna talk about life in front of the camera or in front of a microphone and what that's like.
- 3:52Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Some things may surprise you, some may not, uh, but thought I would uh share a little bit because I do spend a good amount of time uh in front of the camera recording voice for the uh the audio podcast portion.
- 4:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And then we also for those that are watching or have watched the TV show portion on YouTube or Rumble, you can find those.
- 4:32Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh and so yeah, so what's what's life like in front of the camera?
- 4:38Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um, I don't know, I don't know what your thoughts are, uh what what you think, but we're gonna we're gonna go through and just have a another transparent conversation like we do.
- 4:55Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And again, did I say thank you again for joining us?
- 4:59Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, thank you for joining us again.
- 5:01Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So life in front of the camera is very interesting because it's interesting because while there are parts that may seem I don't know like glamorous or like oh, it must be nice to be in front of the camera and must be nice to do this and to do that.
- 5:31Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I get that, excuse me, but it's not always like that.
- 5:42Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So what you see is the finished, what you see and or hear is the finished product.
- 5:50Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So you see the filming portion, whether the video or the audio, that's what you hear or you see.
- 6:03Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: What you don't see are the moments leading up to filming.
- 6:15Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So that can be, you know, we talk about the different topics, different areas that we'd like to share and discuss that are top of mind at the current the current time that we're gonna be doing a show.
- 6:37Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so nobody sees that part.
- 6:41Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh yes, there are topics that are very straightforward, but that doesn't make them easy because being in front of a camera, it may look just like you know, this little little camera, which is what it is, and it's got the little ring light around it.
- 7:12Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: For this particular episode, we got the little ring, but we have a larger ring um light that we we use sometimes depending on various things, various very various variables.
- 7:30Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so when we're we're trying to come up come up with a topic or an area, we we know that not every single topic and area we discuss is gonna be pertinent, meaning like kind of like relatable to everybody, and we know that.
- 7:59Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And our goal is to reach and help at least three billion people over the course of my lifetime and beyond.
- 8:09Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, if we if we talk about the same thing every single time, it might get a little old.
- 8:23Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Now, there are times where we do talk about similar topics, and the reason why we do that is because it's a current thing that's happening, and so it would be um it wouldn't be a let's see, it wouldn't be the the best thing to do to skip it and to go to another topic when things are going on mentally, physically, spiritually, what have you, you're driving to work, driving to the grocery store, you're you're riding the bus, you're riding the train, you're in the airport, you're flying, you're uh you know, where wherever you're at, uh it might be the first time you're watching and listening to one of our shows.
- 9:36Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so there's a kind of like a I guess I would call it like a current event.
- 9:43Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So sometimes current events are very similar, not all similar, not the exact same everything, but there may be elements that make events or experiences similar in nature, and everybody listens, watches, interprets, reads, you know, the transcript.
- 10:23Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Everybody's like definition in a little in a way could be a little bit different.
- 10:36Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so when we cover different areas, that's what we or when we cover similar areas, that's what we try to do is speak from a little bit of a different angle.
- 10:49Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I mean, there's so many, there's so many elements, so many parts of mental health that yeah, there's gonna be some duplication at times.
- 10:59Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But again, anybody, everybody has mental health no matter what.
- 11:08Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: No matter what somebody tells you, no matter what you think, no matter what you read in a book, everybody has mental health.
- 11:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Okay, so there's gonna be times where a similar feeling, like taking a shower, you know, doing the hygiene things, brushing teeth.
- 11:33Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: There's gonna be times where those are gonna be more difficult than others, and there's gonna be times where we're gonna celebrate that we were able to do that and do those things.
- 11:51Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So those things are a little bit similar, but they they might be a little bit different as well, and so getting in front of the camera or microphone can can really sap energy because it's in our mind, right?
- 12:26Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So we have uh an idea called the letter A.
- 12:32Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And we know and we've researched and we have we have a real good idea how we want to how we want to proceed and and uh leave some room for um you know some some uh some experiences that tie into it.
- 12:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You still gotta do it though.
- 13:03Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You still gotta talk about it, you still gotta go through the not just go through the motions, you have to execute against it.
- 13:13Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Meaning, okay, an idea comes to mind.
- 13:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I gotta write it down, I gotta put it somewhere if I'm not in front of the camera at that exact time.
- 13:27Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So ideas, experiences a big part of being in front of the camera, even though that those elements aren't in front of the camera, right?
- 13:53Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Because before we get in front of the camera, we want to have somewhat right, somewhat of an idea of what we're gonna chat about.
- 14:01Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so for us to do that, we have to have an idea of what we're gonna chat about.
- 14:07Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: In order to do that, we have to take whether it's a minute, ten minutes, maybe go two days without something solid, and that's good.
- 14:22Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It helps our mind, helps our body rejuvenate.
- 14:27Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I took two days off from the gym.
- 14:30Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I could have fallen into the pit of making today the third day, and then the fourth day.
- 14:40Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But I got up and I was like, alright, we're doing the gym, and so we did it.
- 14:48Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So that's kind of executing.
- 14:51Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Like, I want to go to the gym, I like the benefits of that, and I'm gonna go.
- 15:02Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Same thing with getting in front of the camera.
- 15:05Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Once we have the ideas and the thoughts, we still have to execute, we still have to go in front of the camera and the microphone so that we can complete an episode or two or three, depending on the topic and a myriad of other things.
- 15:31Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If we don't, then they just become idea, they just remain, not they become, they remain ideas.
- 15:41Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Like we can hope, but it's not something that we wanna I don't know, get too tied up in.
- 15:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Like I hope this and I hope that.
- 15:59Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Yeah, there's some things where we do.
- 16:02Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We wanna we hope we get to do this, or we hope we get to do this, and we hope we don't have to do this, and then we hope that we don't have to do that.
- 16:11Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But when it comes down to it, you gotta do it.
- 16:16Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So getting in front of the camera, you have to have something to talk about.
- 16:29Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Right?
- 16:32Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I mean, that goes without saying.
- 16:36Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So, what's prepared me, I guess, a little bit for this?
- 16:39Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So uh I teach at a local univers local university.
- 16:43Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So over the course of my teaching career, I've taught undergrad, graduate, online, in person.
- 16:53Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I've created courses um to over a thousand students, and this is coming from like a smaller university, I would say.
- 17:08Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So a thousand students over the amount of time that I've been teaching is a lot.
- 17:14Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So there's a lot of individuals that I've had the uh the the luxury of being able to share some of my knowledge that I have.
- 17:33Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Again, nobody's perfect, so I just share my knowledge and and part of it can stick, and some parts don't.
- 17:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So standing up or being in front of the camera on an online course, I've had a lot of experience doing that.
- 18:00Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Like hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and hours of doing that.
- 18:07Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Yeah, right before I went in and had my uh mental health uh on the hit rock bottom mental health wise.
- 18:28Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um I was still teaching, but I was having panic attacks, I was having all kinds like in my mind, in my mind, I was like, this is what I want to do.
- 18:43Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I would like to teach, I would like to have this opportunity, and then it got to the point where I I did this that was becoming a little bit too much for where I was at, and it wasn't a lot, but it was just too much at at that time.
- 19:03Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I spoke in front of groups, big and small.
- 19:22Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You know, three hundred students at a time, or twenty-five organization uh members at a time.
- 19:43Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so those types of things help set me up to be a little bit more comfortable in front of the camera.
- 19:58Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So there is stress being in front of the camera.
- 20:04Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I haven't mastered stress, I haven't mastered anxiety.
- 20:11Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I'm doing the best I can.
- 20:16Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I'm doing the best I can, just like all of us.
- 20:20Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We're all doing the best that we can.
- 20:23Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So sometimes I'll have elevated anxiety or stress, and that will show through to an episode or more.
- 20:39Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And it has.
- 20:41Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I mean, you know, let's be real here.
- 20:45Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It has the more comfortable we are talking about a topic, the more we understand, the more we research, the more we you know practice, the better that we can be.
- 21:02Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so I talk, I think about the teaching opportunities and the speaking opportunities that I've had, all those things really have prepared me for this voices for voices venture with the podcast and TV show.
- 21:31Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Because, yeah, I mean, I guess we could get in front of the camera and just start talking and talking and talking, and some of our shows may seem like that.
- 21:43Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That just means I have elevated stress and anxiety, and um and so we have a lot of episodes 553.
- 21:55Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I think this is gonna be 554.
- 21:58Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So there's a lot of episodes, a lot of topics, a lot of guests, a lot of solo episodes.
- 22:07Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so we have to be able to not even talk coherently.
- 22:27Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I mean, yeah, that's nice and easy.
- 22:29Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Like, oh yeah, that must be easy just to sit there and talk.
- 22:32Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, it's not.
- 22:34Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It's not easy.
- 22:37Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: After all the shows that we've done and all the teaching I've done, I still have anxiety.
- 22:43Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I still have stress.
- 22:45Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Have I learned to manage it?
- 22:50Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Not really.
- 22:51Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I mean, yeah, I have coping mechanisms and you know the uh the therapy and all that and medications and and all that, but that that doesn't take every ounce of stress and anxiety away.
- 23:11Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So practice is helpful.
- 23:19Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I know I stutter at times, I know I pause at times, I know I say like and so a lot.
- 23:26Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That's just me.
- 23:31Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It's just me being transparent.
- 23:33Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I say and a lot.
- 23:38Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so probably a lot.
- 23:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so again, what you see and what you hear it seems to be like, oh, that's easy to do.
- 24:05Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, it may be that I know there's people that are better than me that have shows and podcasts.
- 24:13Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Sure.
- 24:15Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I'm not the best.
- 24:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I'm doing my best.
- 24:22Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I'm on the best for me, the best that I can do.
- 24:26Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But there's so many other great, fantastic podcasts and shows out there that that that helps me in front of the camera of just to understand Justin, you just have to be yourself.
- 24:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You say, like, oh, that's easy to say.
- 24:49Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, it is easy to say, but there's gonna be times where I'm looking away, I'm looking down, I'm looking this, that.
- 24:58Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: There's times I'm gonna have, you know, kind of like the what the best I can do for a beard.
- 25:06Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um, you know, some facial hair, sometimes not.
- 25:11Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Sometimes my hair is gonna be longer, and sometimes not.
- 25:15Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Sometimes I'm gonna have a hat on, sometimes I'm not.
- 25:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Sometimes I'm gonna have a branded shirt.
- 25:21Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It says voices for voices for voices, or sometimes not.
- 25:25Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: All those are elements you gotta think about.
- 25:29Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It's easy to go, well, yeah, you just do this.
- 25:32Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, once you do it, it becomes a little easier, but it just takes me a few extra minutes of going.
- 25:44Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Okay, are we doing a show today?
- 25:47Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You know, in my mind, this is how it kind of goes.
- 25:52Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Am I doing a show today?
- 25:54Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I think so.
- 25:55Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Okay, so I gotta make sure um I have the the the branded or the unbranded uh shirt, hat, no hat, uh ready and uh and available that it's it's not somewhere where I won't be able to to find it.
- 26:21Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So that's another part about being a friendly camera.
- 26:25Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It looks like like well, yeah, that makes sense.
- 26:28Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Why wouldn't you have a voices for voices hat or a voices for voices shirt uh on while you're doing your show?
- 26:36Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, yeah, it does make a lot of sense, but you still gotta have it, you still gotta find it.
- 26:43Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Just like my socks.
- 26:47Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I I think everybody has the socks um ordeal at times where you can find one, but you can't find the other one.
- 26:57Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It's like the washer or dryer's like eating it or something.
- 27:02Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I mean, it hasn't eaten it, but it's like, where did the other sock go?
- 27:07Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I had two and they both went in, and so it's the same thing.
- 27:14Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So I'm looking for a shirt for the show.
- 27:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Is it washed?
- 27:19Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Is it ready?
- 27:20Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Can I find my hat?
- 27:21Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Am I gonna not wear my hat?
- 27:24Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: They're little things, but they make a big difference to the viewer and the listener, not so much to the listener because more of the visualizing me and our guests speaking.
- 27:40Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But for our viewers, I mean you can absolutely see like, well, yeah, the well, who why wouldn't you?
- 27:50Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It's like that that's a good observation, but we still have to do it, just like we still have to do we still have to have topics and ideas and thoughts that we want to share.
- 28:03Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, we still we want to have the clothing, the branded clothing or unbranded, somewhere where we can get to it easily.
- 28:17Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So if it's in the middle of the day and I'm working on something, and I go, oh, an idea just came to me.
- 28:25Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so I have to also think about is everything charged?
- 28:31Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Is the camera charged?
- 28:32Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Is the light charged?
- 28:34Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Is the microphone?
- 28:38Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So yeah, you say, Well, make sure that you you know, all yeah, makes sense to make sure that you know you have everything charged up.
- 28:53Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, how about this?
- 28:54Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You might say, well, why don't you just have it charging while you're doing it?
- 28:58Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, sometimes you can't, sometimes you can, and one of the times, like now, where I can't, is because there's different locations where I film shows at some you can barely see like my fate, like it it's like it's nighttime.
- 29:24Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So even with the the ring light, it it doesn't matter.
- 29:32Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It I still, and there's probably shows still out there that are like that.
- 29:38Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Now that'd be the closest place to have everything plugged in, but if nobody can see my face, or if it's just real dark, then it kind of beats the purpose, defeats the purpose of doing it, of doing a show that that's gonna be you know viewable because it's just gonna look again, just all gonna be look like it's nighttime.
- 30:14Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: To where I'm at now, it's a different spot, but there's no charger, charging station close.
- 30:28Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It's not like it's miles away.
- 30:32Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It's not, it's far enough they can't reach it, and so have to have the battery life in these times to be able to unplug and film without running out of battery power.
- 30:59Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Again, is it is this rocket science I'm talking about?
- 31:08Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Absolutely not.
- 31:10Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But each of these individual things impact being in front of the camera.
- 31:15Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If the camera's not charged, if the lights are charged, you're not gonna get in front of the camera.
- 31:21Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I mean, you can get in front of the camera, but the camera's not gonna be able to turn on, the lights aren't gonna turn on.
- 31:25Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You get what I'm saying?
- 31:27Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If you don't have the branded clothes or or the non-logo, sometimes I do have and wear shirts with logos and that.
- 31:40Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But 98, 99% of the time I have a certain brand.
- 31:52Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We have a certain brand, and like I have the hat, but I have like a plain shirt, plain color shirt.
- 32:04Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So all those add up too, right?
- 32:10Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So it's not just am I ready for the show?
- 32:14Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It's is the equipment ready for the show.
- 32:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So we can want to do a show, we can be ready.
- 32:27Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But if everything's not if if the filming equipment is not charged, and I'm at a location that it's gonna make me look like I it's night time, I gotta find a spot, another setting, where it doesn't look like that.
- 32:53Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So it's like this, where it's much better.
- 32:57Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Doesn't mean I'm I'm not saying I'm good looking, I'm just saying you can at least see if you're watching, you can at least see a person speaking, my head nods.
- 33:10Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Sometimes I'll you know, do do the neck stretches, and but that's just me, and that's where the transparency comes through.
- 33:23Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Like I don't have to be so, and I'm not so polished.
- 33:28Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I want it, I want to be like we are.
- 33:32Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You know, when we first started the show, we had this whole monologue kind of part, like an intro.
- 33:42Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And it would take five or six minutes or more to go through it.
- 33:48Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And when you're shooting for thirty like thirty minutes exactly, or around there, or sixty minutes around there, it's mostly if you're you know if you're shooting for the 30-minute episodes, you gotta be darn, you know, that takes you, right?
- 34:17Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So 30 minus five or six, that's 24 minutes for a show.
- 34:23Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And I know I'm way over that right for this show.
- 34:28Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But it gives it this gives us flexibility that we can have a show that's 20 minutes, we can have a show that's 50 or 35 or 40.
- 34:40Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But that's because we're so transparent.
- 34:44Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Sometimes we have to, you know, if we have a guest and um sometimes their availability is only specific timing, and so that's another thing to get in front of the camera.
- 35:04Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So, okay, I got the branded clothes, the hat, uh, deal, all the equipment's charged, ready to roll.
- 35:13Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Find that spot where it doesn't look like it's dark, it's nighttime where I'm at.
- 35:19Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If I'm talking to a guest and they literally only have a certain amount of time, well, I gotta make sure that you, our viewers, our listeners, wherever you may be, are able to have a good sense of who the guest is, what they do, and the topics.
- 35:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And sometimes that's easy to do.
- 35:49Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If somebody talks fast, sometimes that's difficult to do, or it's like, darn it.
- 35:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I just wish I had like five more minutes or three more minutes, and so that's when the monologue started to go by the wayside, where it's like, no, like we'll do we'll do like a semi-monologue, but the semi-monologue's in my head, it's not written down anywhere.
- 36:16Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I mean, yeah, I could look at previous episodes, but I want to be authentic, so I just want to be like, hey, I'm here, you can see, I'm the one speaking, I'm not lip syncing, no teleprompter, it's just me and the camera, the light, and you watching or listening.
- 36:42Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so guests have the ability to affect me being in front of the camera.
- 36:54Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Again, individually, each thing I'm talking about is not hard.
- 37:03Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Okay, I'm not talking about building a rocket ship.
- 37:08Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I'm not building SpaceX, you know, I'm not building rocket ships getting ready to go to Mars or the like with Elon Musk.
- 37:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Okay.
- 37:19Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But if you take these little things and you add them together, like a little bit, then a little bit more, a little bit more, a little bit more, a little bit more, a little bit more, a little bit more.
- 37:37Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So now it looks like a lot.
- 37:42Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Or more obviously more than just one thing on its own.
- 37:47Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so I hope I've been able to give you a little bit of an overview.
- 37:54Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I know I didn't cover probably everything.
- 37:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Like I said, I'm not perfect, nobody is.
- 38:00Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I shared the the best information that I could at this this current time.
- 38:07Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But you know, again, in front of the camera, takes a lot of different pieces.
- 38:14Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Some of it we have a lot of control over, some of it we don't.
- 38:20Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And I realize there are so many other shows that are so much so much better, so much more polished.
- 38:34Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You know, they're coming with graphics.
- 38:37Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You know, sometimes we'll do that, we'll do a screen share.
- 38:40Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But I'm not the best at it.
- 38:43Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I do the best I can, but I'm not the best at it.
- 38:47Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: There's there's so many other shows out there that that are able to do that.
- 38:52Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I'm just being me.
- 38:54Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Our guests are just being their guest, they're just being themselves, and that's all we want.
- 39:00Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We want transparency, we want to help people.
- 39:03Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That's that's what it comes down to.
- 39:06Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We want to help people build on that foundation of mental health, trauma, recovery, and much, much more.
- 39:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So, thank you for joining us on this episode of the show, of the podcast.

- 40:02Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Without you, we don't have a show, we don't have an organization.
- 40:07Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We're doing something else.

- 41:11Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Because we've had a good show, we've had a positive show, and we will talk to you and see you very soon.
- 41:19Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Until then, let's celebrate all the voices in the world and let's be a voice, not only for us, but maybe somebody else in need that they're not able to share their voice as strongly as they uh they wish that they could.
- 41:38Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So thank you very much.
