• 0:36
There's a lot going on right now in the Unicorn Fart Desk
• 0:40
community. One of the big projects which we
• 0:42
undertook was a complete rebuild of our website.
• 0:46
Today I'm joined by Exit the Matrix.
• 0:49
He's the person that spearheaded this effort and we are going to
• 0:54
give you today the first look at the new Unicorn Fart Desk
• 0:58
  website. Exit.
• 0:59
  Welcome. Welcome to Duster Club.
• 1:01
Welcome to Ron's basement. Thanks so much, Ron.
• 1:03
I really appreciate it. Hi, everybody.
• 1:05
Pleasure to be here again. Yeah, you got you Got to be
• 1:08
excited, I want to point out, but just so I don't forget,
• 1:11
thank you very much for everything you've done.
• 1:14
I know you. You've worked tirelessly on this
• 1:16
project and I think it looks great.
• 1:18
We're going to show everybody here in a few seconds.
• 1:21
But on behalf of myself and the entire UFC community, thank you
• 1:25
for everything you've done because you are a professional
• 1:28
and skilled and we are lucky to have you here, so thank you very
• 1:31
  much. It's absolutely my pleasure.
• 1:33
And you know, of course these kinds of things center around a
• 1:37
person that puts things live and brings them to into a focus.
• 1:40
But I want to also say that there's been a cast of people
• 1:43
involved behind the scenes and making this happen.
• 1:46
You know, the whole, the whole leadership group, the leadership
• 1:48
council has spent a bunch of hours and reviewing and
• 1:52
providing comments and feedback and that's been absolutely
• 1:54
fantastic. I wanted to also acknowledge
• 1:57
trusted guy who proposed the framework for it and, and, and
• 2:01
indeed hope to set it up. So that's been tremendous.
• 2:05
You know, when we have that kind of skill in house, it's it's
• 2:08
amazing. And and arms as well has helped
• 2:12
with with reviewing and testing and providing his stamp of
• 2:14
approval on it. So yeah, these these things kind
• 2:18
of center around, like I said, the person who pushes the
• 2:20
button. But but it's it's it it, it
• 2:22
wasn't just me. You know, let's just let
• 2:26
everybody know I'm the one that did everything, OK?
• 2:28
Exit right. Yeah, look, the cat's out of the
• 2:31
  bag now. Where's Jasper?
• 2:33
Yeah, the cat's out of the bag. No, there was a whole team.
• 2:35
There always is. And thank you to everybody who
• 2:38
worked on this. You know, we just have a lot
• 2:41
going on right now out there in the community and in the
• 2:44
project. And what was the impetus?
• 2:47
What motivated you to to, to think that we needed to redo the
• 2:51
website? Was there something, did you
• 2:53
think that you could make it better per SE?
• 2:58
Yes. Yeah, well the the short answer
• 3:00
  is yes. You know what?
• 3:02
What kind of led to it is as I've looked at, because we're
• 3:07
humans, so, so part of our nature is to compare things.
• 3:10
And I try to minimize that because it doesn't generally
• 3:12
lead to happy places. But I think that comparing in
• 3:16
order to motivate oneself is useful.
• 3:18
And so looking at what, not necessarily competition, but
• 3:22
what, what else is in this space and what does it look like and
• 3:26
what's engaging, right. Our website was pushing
• 3:29
information out, but it wasn't really drawing the visitor in to
• 3:32
have an interaction to kind of tell a story.
• 3:36
And, and that's what really kind of tweaked my mind at first to
• 3:40
how to tell us the story of UFD in a way that's engaging, that's
• 3:44
interactive. And you know, we, we talked
• 3:49
about over several of the over of our leadership meetings, we
• 3:53
talked about, you actually brought this up, Ron.
• 3:57
How do we provide information to people about all the cool things
• 4:00
that we've done about the things that that are yet ahead of us,
• 4:03
about the things that we're working on to provide some
• 4:05
transparency and just, you know, get people involved in different
• 4:07
efforts. Because if you don't know what's
• 4:08
going on, how do you know what to what to raise your hand for
• 4:10
necessarily. And so this was also a chance to
• 4:15
to provide that, to provide a venue for displaying that
• 4:18
information. And you know, we, we have, we
• 4:21
have various cool things that happen in the community.
• 4:23
I want to steal Thunder from which you revealing the site,
• 4:25
but we have some really cool things that happen in the
• 4:28
community and this is also our chance to highlight them.
• 4:31
Yeah, I like I like what you said.
• 4:33
I wrote a few things down because instead of a website
• 4:36
that just shows information and says here, here it is, this is
• 4:40
what we are. It feels like the the goal of
• 4:43
this was to create something interactive, something that told
• 4:47
a story, right? Because I think the lore of UFD
• 4:50
and the story that we're all creating together really from
• 4:53
day one is a big part of our community, but also provide good
• 4:58
information. And I know, you know, we're
• 4:59
going to look at some things here, but you've been able to
• 5:02
kind of tie in data from some different sources, a place where
• 5:06
people can come and not just read but interact and feel like
• 5:10
they're a part of. Is that is that a safe
• 5:12
assessment? 100% And when you said the data
• 5:16
sources that I'm kind of chuckling here in the background
• 5:18
to myself because you know, what you guys are about to see, of
• 5:22
course is the kind of the face of the of the site and, and, and
• 5:25
the interaction of it and so and so forth.
• 5:27
And yes, you're going to see the, the pieces that pull
• 5:29
information, but from an effort perspective, just to give you an
• 5:33
idea, the, the part that pulls the information from other
• 5:36
sources and displays it, that's the part that's like 3/4 of the
• 5:40
effort overall behind the scenes, right?
• 5:44
And that's how it, that's how it generally is.
• 5:46
When you look at a building, you see the facade of it, but you
• 5:48
don't necessarily think, unless you're in construction of what
• 5:51
the foundation was like and, and how it was armed and all, all,
• 5:54
all of these different pieces go into it.
• 5:56
So this, this is similar here. The scaffolding and and and the
• 5:59
structure of it is what what what takes most work versus the
• 6:03
  visible pieces. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 6:06
Then I know there's a lot of work that went into it.
• 6:08
I saw your messages. I was following along, you know,
• 6:12
tremendous amount of work behind the scenes to make everything
• 6:16
work smoothly and you know, operate like it's supposed to.
• 6:19
And I think the other exciting thing about this is we're very
• 6:23
lucky to have you who put it together and as it as that this
• 6:27
can evolve as well, right when people have recommendations,
• 6:31
other good ideas when our IP is out that we can kind of read
• 6:36
maybe even rebrand it is that is that a safe assessment?
• 6:40
100% And this is actually where where the work that just a guy
• 6:44
did really comes into into the fore because the way that that
• 6:48
we've designed This site is so that it's very modular and easy
• 6:52
to maintain. So you could see something on
• 6:54
screen and looks great, but in the background, if you want to
• 6:56
make a change, but it's going to take you a couple of weeks to
• 6:58
put it in and you have to, you know, go through a whole bunch
• 7:01
of code and so on and so forth. No, no, no, this is so that you
• 7:04
know, and as we go through the side, I'll talk about the
• 7:06
elements where we're reading things from a text file, for
• 7:09
example. Well, not necessarily text file,
• 7:11
but from a formatted file, but so putting new information in
• 7:15
there, very, very easy. Changing the colour scheme,
• 7:19
very, very easy. Other components as well.
• 7:22
And this is meant to be a living site, not something that's
• 7:25
static. So for the first month, I, I've,
• 7:27
I've committed to making weekly releases that are to address
• 7:31
issues and, and any tiny little tweaks and, and, and
• 7:34
refinements, you know, once our IP is released, of course,
• 7:37
that'll be part of it is, is making sure that the imagery
• 7:40
that we have matches it, working with the, with the appropriate
• 7:43
artists to also create the rest of the images and fill
• 7:46
everything in a, in a way that's consistent.
• 7:49
And then after that, I'll, I'll actually commit myself to a
• 7:51
monthly release window where the community is going to have a
• 7:54
voice in discord to vote on what is the backlog for this look
• 7:58
like? What is the feature board, if
• 7:59
you will, and then which of these features do we want to
• 8:02
prioritize? I love what you refer to it as a
• 8:07
living site because that matches up directly with our community,
• 8:12
right? We are a living, evolving
• 8:14
community. So as the months go by and the
• 8:16
years go by, the site will continue to evolve.
• 8:20
And you know, you, you did some cool things.
• 8:22
I don't know if you're going to show everything to everybody.
• 8:24
I think you want to leave a few surprises, but you know it.
• 8:27
But there could be other components, right as well.
• 8:30
I mean, if somebody has a great idea for another tab, I guess
• 8:34
I'm an old guy I would call it. But another, another component
• 8:37
that could that could potentially be done.
• 8:39
Is that is that a safe statement?
• 8:42
100% then, and I'll kind of drop a little teaser here.
• 8:46
You know, you've, you've seen some of the cool memes that have
• 8:49
been, that have been going around connected to, to Unicorn
• 8:52
fart dust. And, and so we're actually in
• 8:55
the works with, with one of our community members to bring an
• 8:58
interactive component that's going to, to, to tie that in.
• 9:02
So it's, it's kind of in the final stages.
• 9:04
And I think that you'll be, I think that you'll be pleased
• 9:07
with the results. I think I heard a little bit
• 9:10
about this and yes, it's, I guess I'll keep my mouth shut at
• 9:14
exit because that's what I'm not good at doing.
• 9:17
But but it's an interactive component, right?
• 9:20
It's a cool thing that people can do on the site.
• 9:24
Did I say too much? I don't think I did.
• 9:26
  No, no, that's that's perfect. That's perfect.
• 9:28
Yeah, well, you want to head out there and you can take us for a
• 9:30
  Grand Tour. Let's do it.
• 9:32
Of your of your baby. OK, so I'm going to share.
• 9:35
Everybody should see the website now on their screen and why
• 9:40
don't you just walk us through and I'll if I screw something
• 9:44
  up, let me know. Perfect.
• 9:46
There's no screwing it up, by the way.
• 9:47
It's meant to be robust. OK, I can't.
• 9:50
  I can't break it. We'll see.
• 9:53
It it, it would take a lot of effort to break it the way that
• 9:55
we're hosted now, and I'll go through that in in, in a few
• 9:58
moments. But is is very redundant,
• 10:02
meaning that it doesn't just sit on one server, it sits on dozens
• 10:06
of servers around the world. And depending on what the one
• 10:08
where the visitor is located, they're accessing it from the
• 10:12
closest location. So that's part of it as well is
• 10:14
to make it robust, make it not impervious to attacks, but make
• 10:19
it a lot more resilient to any potential attacks and.
• 10:22
We, we are, we are distributed. Our servers are distributed just
• 10:26
  like. Distributed just like 100%.
• 10:29
That's exactly it. And I think that it kind of
• 10:31
  follows that ethos and it's, and it's a it's a beautiful thing.
• 10:34
The only way the site truly goes down is if the Internet goes
• 10:37
  down. Like globally, yeah.
• 10:40
Well, if it if that happens, it was really nice knowing you.
• 10:46
Likewise, likewise, All right, So the start page, the layout of
• 10:50
it, the reason it's set up in this way is because it tells a
• 10:54
story. So the first thing that we want
• 10:56
to to do do with the visitor is give them a chance to buy UFD
• 11:01
because after all, this is their, their gate in is to hold
• 11:05
beans. But if you were to to so, so if
• 11:09
you click on the buy, buy UFD button, Ron, you'll see that we,
• 11:12
we're listing various, various places where the, where the
• 11:16
person can buy UFD, of course, starting with our sponsors,
• 11:20
  right? Right Moon pay awesome.
• 11:23
  HTM go ahead. I'm sorry.
• 11:26
In the, in the blurb above as well, we have, you know, we, we
• 11:29
talked about the fact that protecting your bean is, is, is
• 11:33
important. So our other sponsors mentioned
• 11:36
up top which is Ledger and they're a great option.
• 11:40
Awesome, love it. What if I click on Can I click
• 11:43
on Moon pay? You can click on in any of these
• 11:45
  things, yeah. And then let's.
• 11:47
Just it opens a new, IT opens a new page, which possibly opens
• 11:50
in a different window that's not showing to the audience here
• 11:54
right now. Yeah, yeah, up up here I can
• 11:56
show it real quickly. So yeah, I clicked on it and it
• 12:00
brought us to channel sponsor Moon Pay.
• 12:02
So let me go back to our website and here we go.
• 12:08
  We should be back. Yeah.
• 12:10
  HDX crack in. Awesome.
• 12:12
  Wow. Yeah, that's great.
• 12:15
That's very cool. So if you close out of that run,
• 12:20
we then, so if someone's coming to the side and then they're
• 12:23
just not ready yet. So as we, as we Scroll down, the
• 12:26
next thing we see are statistics, because, you know,
• 12:30
maybe I'm not convinced. I don't really know if this is
• 12:32
real. Like I don't want to see some
• 12:33
data here. And so this is the idea that,
• 12:36
that, that's, that's the cadence of, of the journey that that
• 12:40
we're taking the, the visitor on is the second thing is, well,
• 12:43
let's find out what the numbers say.
• 12:45
  And, and then we'll, we'll, we'll go, we'll go there in a
• 12:48
moment, but let's just keep going down, down the, down the
• 12:51
page just to, to cover the, the starting page.
• 12:53
Oh, cool. What if if they looked at the
• 12:58
numbers and they're they're they're jazzed about it.
• 13:00
They're like, yeah, this this looks really good, you know,
• 13:02
maybe got some beans. Maybe they want to find out a
• 13:05
little bit more about the story of it.
• 13:06
So what's the lore here? What what is this whole thing
• 13:10
about? And if they know enough about
• 13:12
the lore, well, maybe it's time to to actually become the
• 13:15
official duster. All right, get their horn.
• 13:18
Can I can I click on learn the lore?
• 13:21
Absolutely sure. Oh cool, check this out.
• 13:26
So, so, you know, every story has a beginning and goes through
• 13:32
a journey. So, so, so the same thing is
• 13:34
with with UFD. And as we go through life, we
• 13:39
have photographs of key milestones of key things that
• 13:43
we, and we may have huge photo albums, but there are probably,
• 13:46
you know, a few dozen photos that we actually go back to on a
• 13:49
regular basis. And so this is it.
• 13:51
This is this is our this is our photo wall, if you, if you will,
• 13:54
of UFD, what you know, started with the with the prelude of of
• 14:00
Ron's channel original channel silver and gold.
• 14:03
Can I, if we? Click on it.
• 14:04
Can I click on that? Good on.
• 14:06
That good looking guy real quickly.
• 14:08
  Let's see here. Absolutely.
• 14:09
All right. So we, we, we made the hair too
• 14:12
Gray. This is This isn't really fair
• 14:13
to you because. Well trust me as my hair, my
• 14:17
hair is getting grayer by the month so just give it a few more
• 14:21
  months. Don't do an update.
• 14:25
Yeah, so each of these, each of these panels, each of these
• 14:27
photos has a panel associated with it, which tells a story.
• 14:30
And, and Mason did a did a great job working with Georgie to
• 14:34
provide the content here written up really, really nicely.
• 14:37
So you know, as, as I, as I actually read through it, I, I
• 14:41
had, I had my eyes started to sweat a little bit at one moment
• 14:45
because it's just especially as we go go through the, the, the,
• 14:49
the, the, the further panels, there are some things that are
• 14:52
quite touching. So that's so that's neat, right?
• 14:55
  Yeah, this. Is really cool.
• 14:59
So now I'm on UFD launch the launch story correct?
• 15:02
  Yes. Yeah.
• 15:05
And you can see here how quickly things not escalated, but but
• 15:10
exploded, right. It's, it's, it's from that, from
• 15:12
the origin story, from the launch to, you know, to actually
• 15:19
it blowing up and going crazy. $400 million.
• 15:24
Yep, yeah, 400. OK, you tell me what to do.
• 15:29
Yeah, I'm, I'll listen. Yeah, so, so Ron, if you close
• 15:31
this one, I'm just going to scroll to the the film strip to
• 15:33
the end, just to show the user that there is.
• 15:38
Rapid growth and adoption? Yeah, Challenges overcome.
• 15:43
Yeah, the the hack. The hack, right?
• 15:46
Yeah, a couple hack. Community coming together, yeah.
• 15:49
And now we're in the accumulation phase, building the
• 15:53
foundation. Wow, that is really cool.
• 15:55
I love that because that gives people a chance to learn about
• 16:01
what happened that got us to where we are today.
• 16:04
I think that gives a potential new a buttercup, a real concise
• 16:10
and clear version of our story. I like that.
• 16:16
And if you were to scroll a little bit further to the right
• 16:19
on the film strip itself once you exit the panel here.
• 16:22
I can keep going, yeah. You can keep going.
• 16:24
Let's just scroll. How do I do that?
• 16:27
I can't do it. Hold on.
• 16:28
I'm horrible to the right. Yeah.
• 16:33
When I click hold on maybe if. I no just like mouse sideways
• 16:37
motion like you were scrolling across the web page to the
• 16:40
right, across the panels. I'm on a laptop so I have like a
• 16:44
mouse like a little. Yeah, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 16:46
No, no, I I do too. It's it's one second.
• 16:50
And I'm horrible with this kind of stuff and now I'm now I'm
• 16:53
getting nervous so. No, no worries, no, but so, so
• 16:57
just just so that the the viewers know if if you're on
• 17:00
your mobile device or if you're on your laptop, you can actually
• 17:03
scroll to the to the further to the right and there is one other
• 17:06
panel there there. Is how the heck do I get there?
• 17:09
This is going to drive me crazy. I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll walk you
• 17:12
through it later, just so that we've got.
• 17:15
  So there is a there's a secret. There's a secret.
• 17:17
  There's a secret battle. Absolutely.
• 17:19
There we go. So there are some things we want
• 17:21
to leave for for the big reveal for the for the user to, you
• 17:24
know, as you interact with it. Obviously if we show you
• 17:26
everything, it's like I've seen it, seen it.
• 17:28
That's not that's not that exciting.
• 17:29
So there are going to be a few little, let's just call them
• 17:32
Easter eggs that that are that are left for you.
• 17:34
Yes. Yes, I know of a few of them.
• 17:36
So awesome. OK buddy, where do I where do I
• 17:38
go next? Next, if you, if you Scroll down
• 17:42
the side, you know, we have, we have some information, we have
• 17:45
some terminology, of course, meet meeting the, the, the the
• 17:49
greatest of all time, the goat around Toshi and and some
• 17:54
information about, about our, our developer and, and, and on
• 17:58
the left hand side, the sacred knowledge.
• 17:59
So, so there is a lingo that comes with UF, with UFD, we
• 18:03
have, we have our own terminology as how we're, how we
• 18:06
refer to different things. And so that's captured there as
• 18:09
well as Ron's promise to the community, right.
• 18:12
So, so that's available. And then, and then once someone
• 18:16
has acquired the nod, once they feel confident.
• 18:19
Yeah, I, I know this stuff and, and maybe I'm I'm ready to get
• 18:22
my horn. Yeah, they can actually.
• 18:25
They can click and and and take. This middle part, this middle
• 18:29
thing down here, What is this? Little thing right here.
• 18:32
Test your knowledge, get your horn.
• 18:34
Tell me about this. This looks cool.
• 18:37
All right, Duster certification. We'll go ahead.
• 18:40
Exit. Yeah, so this was this was
• 18:42
actually something around that that that that you had mentioned
• 18:44
that that you'd love to you'd love to see some way for for
• 18:47
dusters to to kind of find out if they're if they're ready to.
• 18:54
Well, not really dusters. This is, I mean, maybe they have
• 18:56
some beans, They're not quite a buttercup yet, but but Duster
• 19:01
comes with certain knowledge. Duster Duster knows how, knows
• 19:05
what people are talking about when, when we're on X and we're
• 19:07
talking about rubbing horns or when we're talking about horns
• 19:10
up or, you know, there are certain elements here that, that
• 19:14
people that people need to demonstrate that they actually
• 19:16
know what's going on so they can become certified.
• 19:18
And so this is it. You can start start the quiz and
• 19:21
and and see what happens. So this is a a certification
• 19:23
  process, correct? Exactly.
• 19:26
Oh, you're going to. I'm going to ask some questions
• 19:29
instead of referring. Should I go through the whole
• 19:31
thing or should I? You can just maybe, maybe let's
• 19:34
leave the end to to to for people to discover on their own.
• 19:36
  But let's let's let's let's even yeah, do a few of them.
• 19:40
We also don't want to give away all the answers, correct?
• 19:42
  I know. Right, exactly.
• 19:44
Instead of referring to our Unicorn fart dust tokens as
• 19:47
coins, we we refer to them as farts, Lollipops, love bugs.
• 19:52
All right, I'll answer this one. Correct beans.
• 19:56
All right, All right. Any person yet to own a UFD
• 19:58
token is referred to as an outsider, Butterfingers,
• 20:05
Buttercup, or a Butterball. Now I know the right answer, but
• 20:08
I'm going to go with Butterball and see what happens.
• 20:15
I got kicked out of the website. I told you I could break it and
• 20:18
  exit. Oh no, you're.
• 20:20
  It's it's it's it's meant to do exactly that.
• 20:22
It's meant to to have a little fart sound there and and and.
• 20:26
So I can give. The person a chance to study
• 20:28
some more or just retake the test immediately, right?
• 20:31
  Yeah. And there's something special
• 20:33
that happens at the end of that test, when the test taker
• 20:37
successfully completes the completes the quiz, correct?
• 20:41
That's that's exactly it. OK, OK, that is awesome.
• 20:44
Well, what people's appetite for for what happens next.
• 20:47
Yeah, well, I think that our lore, and you know, I see it
• 20:51
here kind of interwoven within the whole website that our lore
• 20:55
and our language, I should say, the glossary that I've been
• 20:59
keeping track of, these words that we use, That's a real big
• 21:02
part of our community. You know, it's kind of our
• 21:05
secret language, I guess you would say.
• 21:08
And and we're we're obviously using it for good, attracts
• 21:11
  good. But I do think that it's it's a
• 21:13
pretty cool. I know David Golkstein
• 21:15
yesterday, he loves to call himself or say that he's not a
• 21:18
buttercup. You know, he always says I ain't
• 21:20
no buttercup. I ain't no, you know, so, yeah,
• 21:24
  awesome. I love it.
• 21:25
I love it. How many questions are on that
• 21:27
quiz? Look like about 14 or 15.
• 21:29
Yeah, there there are. There are 14 questions on the
• 21:31
  quiz. Yeah.
• 21:32
  OK. And then?
• 21:34
  Go ahead. Sorry.
• 21:35
Go ahead. No, you go ahead, Go ahead.
• 21:37
I was just going to say that keeping with, with that original
• 21:42
premise of, of the site being alive, there may be a future
• 21:47
point at which we have more kind of an advanced quiz, if you
• 21:52
will, or, or, or an, or an add on to the quiz where you know,
• 21:56
once you, once you have your horn, maybe you get a diamond
• 21:59
horn or something. I don't know.
• 22:01
But there may be some stages here, but there may be some
• 22:03
gamification, some progression that not, not only do you know
• 22:07
the, the, the, the wording and the lore, but you've actually
• 22:09
been participating actively in the community.
• 22:11
So you're starting to understand some of the inside jokes, right?
• 22:14
That, that just a casual person wouldn't just who had no idea
• 22:17
what, what we're talking about. And that's, that's, that's cool
• 22:20
because any community is alive through, through its references.
• 22:26
And, and that's, that really is the definition of, of, of even
• 22:30
the word me. My wife was listening to
• 22:31
something the other day about this, how meme is essentially a
• 22:35
social contract. And, and so we have the social
• 22:39
contract that, that we, we actually believe that this has
• 22:41
some value, that this is unique and, and what binds us together
• 22:44
as this community is the way that we refer to each other and,
• 22:48
and, and different events and so on, so forth.
• 22:51
It's, it's our way of the secret, you know, in a
• 22:53
distributed world where, where we're not sitting face to face
• 22:57
and, and, and physically interacting with each other all
• 22:58
the time because we have meet ups.
• 22:59
So, so, so that does does happen, but this is our secret
• 23:02
  handshake. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 23:04
And, you know, this just came to me.
• 23:06
But most big organizations, I have a neighbor who was the
• 23:11
president of the local Lions Club, and he tried for years to
• 23:15
get me to join the Lions Club. And you have to take some, you
• 23:18
know, you have to go through a process to get in to get
• 23:21
certified as a Lion, right? And, and look, we're not, you
• 23:25
know, we aren't excluding anyone, but if they want to get
• 23:29
  certified, here's a good, a good, a good opportunity.
• 23:32
And I love what you said, right? We could have the diamond level
• 23:35
in the future. The, you know, all different
• 23:38
types of cool things, really fun.
• 23:40
I love it. I think it's it's fun, but it
• 23:42
also is a almost not a ritual, but a but but a but a tool that
• 23:50
we can use to help people feel like they're more part of the
• 23:54
community. And I'm getting that feeling
• 23:56
from the entire website that this is I guess you said it at
• 23:59
the beginning, it's interactive. It's our story like that we're
• 24:02
bringing people in and that they're getting a real because
• 24:06
that's our value, right, is our sense of togetherness, our sense
• 24:09
of belonging, our sense of shared purpose.
• 24:11
So this is awesome exit. Thank you my.
• 24:14
Pleasure. If you want to click on the
• 24:16
stats just to just to show folks what we're talking about as far
• 24:20
as numbers are concerned. So here we have some information
• 24:24
and certain pieces of information get populated
• 24:27
depending on the on the connection to the data.
• 24:31
So there'll be some things that like for example, average
• 24:34
holding time, please check back later when you check, check that
• 24:36
again, you'll see that it's about 100 and 68170 days,
• 24:39
something like that. But that just depends on what's
• 24:42
being pulled at a given moment. This information is refreshed on
• 24:46
an hourly basis and it comes from certain sources.
• 24:49
So market data, for example, comes from Coin Gecko, Holder
• 24:53
  distribution comes from Holder Scan.
• 24:56
There's a lot richer data that Holder Scan has, but
• 25:00
unfortunately there it's what it's what's known as an API.
• 25:04
So if you think of it from a layperson's perspective, it's
• 25:08
kind of like your electrical outlet on the wall that you plug
• 25:12
into in order to get electricity.
• 25:13
Well, you plug into an outlet on holder scan in order to get
• 25:17
certain piece of information from them and that reveals
• 25:21
certain certain data. But they don't reveal all the
• 25:23
information that's present on their site, unfortunately,
• 25:25
because they have richer, richer info there.
• 25:28
But we can get things like what is the number of total holders?
• 25:32
What is the? There's a very rough
• 25:34
approximation of narwhals because our narwhals are
• 25:36
2,000,000 token holders, 2,000,000 plus token holders,
• 25:40
bean holders. But you know the holder scan
• 25:44
doesn't provide that piece of information specifically that
• 25:48
they have, they have who's who's holding $10,000 plus as far as
• 25:52
today's value of beans is concerned.
• 25:54
So it's maybe like a baby narwhal.
• 25:58
Right, right. It's also useful to see like,
• 26:01
yeah, we have, we have 36,000 holders as far as the system can
• 26:07
determine it, but unique wallets is actually a a larger number.
• 26:13
Yeah, 43,000 wow wow and I saw something on here that surprised
• 26:20
me as well. It's just, yeah, I mean, you
• 26:24
know, it's very cool exit to be able to come here in like 1
• 26:29
dashboard and get some very useful because honestly, I would
• 26:33
look around like I would hear people say we have X number of
• 26:36
of holders now I know where I can go and find it without
• 26:40
having to dig through a bunch of data that I don't really
• 26:44
understand. So I think this will be very
• 26:46
useful no doubt. And of course, tokenomics,
• 26:49
because we will, although these things aren't being pulled from
• 26:51
anywhere, this, these are facts about about UFD.
• 26:54
So if someone's wondering, well, can we make more of this?
• 26:57
Can, can the dev just print more of this?
• 26:59
Right. It's guess what, folks, It's not
• 27:01
Fiat, you know, This is, this is Rantoshi.
• 27:05
Not, not, not not Jerome, this is.
• 27:08
No, the number of beans has been neutered, OK.
• 27:11
And that's the fact, right? The the community can reproduce
• 27:15
at a very rapid rate and our bean holders can reproduce at a
• 27:18
very rapid rate because as I've said many times, we are the
• 27:21
Unicorn horniest community on the Internet.
• 27:24
But the number of beans is neutered like Jasper the cat.
• 27:28
So that gives us that gives us good tokenomics.
• 27:31
Sorry, exit Susie's cringing. Susie's listening and cringing
• 27:35
right now. I can feel it.
• 27:36
But go ahead, buddy. Like Nella, my dog, she's also
• 27:40
neutered anyways, so the circulating supply also is 1
• 27:45
billion there. It's never been like an amount
• 27:47
of it was vested or locked tokens or locked for marketing
• 27:50
  reasons. No, no, no, no.
• 27:52
All of these things went into circulation day one, you know,
• 27:55
so 100% open and fair distribution through open
• 27:58
market. There are no buy, sell taxes.
• 28:01
Of course there are gas fees, which which happens with any,
• 28:03
any blockchain. But you know, over 99% of the
• 28:06
liquidity as reported by the authorities is locked.
• 28:11
  The freezing authority is disabled.
• 28:13
So the tempering or or or or changing the future supply or
• 28:17
rules is, is not on because it's been kind of it's built into the
• 28:22
very contract of this thing, the very fabric of this thing.
• 28:25
So that's, that's some cool stuff.
• 28:27
You know, below if you were to Scroll down, run.
• 28:29
We have some other information that's useful, perhaps a little
• 28:33
bit less so to the casual visitor.
• 28:34
But I think it's, you know, even as a casual visitor, I'd be
• 28:37
interested in this kind of stuff because I'm a guy.
• 28:40
But but our Raiders, you know, we, we have folks who go to
• 28:43
colder scan. We have folks who gather
• 28:46
information or to lunar crash. Actually, sorry, social
• 28:49
dominance comes from from lunar crash and I'll tell a little
• 28:54
anecdote about it in a moment, but we kind of want to know at a
• 28:57
glance what's going on in the ecosystem that we were part of.
• 29:01
We were launched on run launched UFD on pump dot fun and and so
• 29:08
how do we how do we measure up? How do we stack up with, with
• 29:10
other meme coins on, on this, you know, in this segment And
• 29:16
currently as of, as of as of, you know, minutes ago, we are #4
• 29:21
with 0.18% of, of social dominance, you know, across all,
• 29:28
across all, all crypto. So it's pretty, it's, it's
• 29:34
pretty darn decent, especially if you were to look at, you
• 29:37
know, the next competitor up, which we often beat Vine, by the
• 29:41
way, we kind of vacillate between fifth spot and 3rd spot.
• 29:46
And so that changes. You can see that it's actually
• 29:48
based on number of mentions and ours is, is 1.8 versus 1.88 in,
• 29:55
in Vine. And then so we've just, you
• 29:58
know, in the, in the, in the last couple days, we've been
• 30:00
bouncing, I've been watching this bounce around quite a bit.
• 30:03
But the the competitor above us 41,000,041 million and then
• 30:08
Bartcoin that we were very close to flipping, if not even flipped
• 30:12
at one point sitting at, you know, 345.
• 30:17
And that's, that's, I mean, they got a major haircut during the
• 30:20
last less little little dump as well, because they were at over
• 30:24
a billion for, for a while. So, so we're competing in a, in
• 30:28
a space that that really kind of underscores the delta between
• 30:36
the value of, of what we have here and the price of it.
• 30:41
And at some point, and I'm, you know, I've said this many times
• 30:43
in different posts that I've done, the two, the 2 will meet.
• 30:48
And, and this is invariable. This has been across all
• 30:51
different communities, all different meme coins in the past
• 30:54
where the value exceeds the price.
• 30:56
There is a moment of reckoning where, where those two things
• 30:59
catch up. And when this happens for UFD, I
• 31:01
mean, it's going to be like the exorcist because heads are going
• 31:04
to spin. I, I, and I love it.
• 31:07
This is this is I could not if you're not getting the sense of
• 31:11
it by the way, you know, listener, whoever you are that
• 31:13
I'm bullish about this like I am vibrating in my seat.
• 31:18
I get up. I don't need coffee UID is my
• 31:20
coffee. I I can't wait to jump in, roll
• 31:23
up my sleeves and and participate in the community.
• 31:25
So there's there's another plug for for being involved is what I
• 31:31
get out of it is exponentially bigger than what I put into it.
• 31:34
And I've put in a ton of hours into the website, but what I'm
• 31:36
getting back out of it is far beyond.
• 31:40
Yeah, that is it's incredible. And when we look at, when we
• 31:42
look at Fartcoin, my, my rough calculation is their market cap
• 31:47
is what about 20 times bigger than ours right now and that's
• 31:52
after they've had quite a haircut.
• 31:54
The other thing I'll throw in and and I'll include you in this
• 31:58
group of us as well as I feel like it's hard for me to put
• 32:02
this into words exit, but our community engagement is much
• 32:07
deeper than and I'm in look, I love fartcoin and I've read an
• 32:12
article about fartcoin. That's part of the reason why
• 32:14
I'm here. So I'm not putting down
• 32:15
Fartcoin, but it feels like to me that our community engagement
• 32:19
is kind of a next level or deeper or has more content
• 32:25
involved in it than what I see from some of the other
• 32:27
  communities. Is that?
• 32:28
Is that a? Am I way off base when I when I
• 32:31
say that I see that. No, that's, that's exactly it.
• 32:34
And, and of course you, you have a great intuition, so you sense
• 32:39
  these things. Yeah.
• 32:41
And, but also if we look at it from a from a logical structure
• 32:45
perspective, the numbers actually tell that story as
• 32:47
well. The numbers tell that story and,
• 32:50
and you know, I'm not being paid for doing this.
• 32:52
I'm doing this because I love the community.
• 32:55
I love to participate, I love to contribute.
• 32:57
And I've gotten so much inspiration and value out of UFD
• 33:01
that even though I'm nowhere near the whale status or narwhal
• 33:04
status, you know, I'm passionate about what we are becoming, what
• 33:09
we already are, of course, and what we are becoming.
• 33:13
So, so that and I'm, and I'm one of great.
• 33:17
I'm not unique, no unique snowflake.
• 33:20
You know, if you, if you watch Fight Club, I keep, I keep
• 33:23
hearing that voice. You're not a unique snowflake.
• 33:26
But so there are many people like me and, and smarter than
• 33:31
me, more talented than me and who are giving even more of
• 33:34
themselves to UFD. So, so now think about this,
• 33:38
think about, you know, if a corporation and how much would a
• 33:43
executive level person get paid in that corporation?
• 33:45
Now think about that time being contributed towards UFD that
• 33:48
increases the bag value for every single holder, every
• 33:54
single holder. And This is why I keep harping
• 33:57
on the topic. This is why I'm so jazzed about
• 33:59
more of us, more of the dusters, more of the, the, the diamond
• 34:04
hooved participating actively. Because as more of us
• 34:07
participate, the rocket ship is going to launch and we will be
• 34:11
  market makers. Forget the charts.
• 34:13
It's not going to be all this is the trend or Bitcoins down or
• 34:16
Ethereum's down. No, no, no, no, no.
• 34:18
It'll be the it'll be exactly. We will be the reverse.
• 34:20
We'll be the island that stands apart from others because we are
• 34:25
actually doing things differently than others.
• 34:28
We're not just, you know, running by market whims.
• 34:30
We hold our own intrinsic value. Yeah, we are not a shiny red
• 34:35
ball meme coin and we aren't a gambling coin.
• 34:38
We are like a long term project coin based on quality and
• 34:44
fairness and transparency, which and you said it and I think it's
• 34:48
very powerful, but very simple way to say it is we really are
• 34:52
different and we have been from day one in the meme coin sector.
• 34:58
So yeah, you, I won't repeat what you said, but you summed it
• 35:01
up very nicely. There's, you know, I think a
• 35:04
confluence of factors coming together in this project that is
• 35:08
unlike anything else in in most of crypto.
• 35:12
I always like to compares most to things like Bitcoin and maybe
• 35:16
if they're mean, like the big ones.
• 35:17
But I think when the when the scales tip and the and the, the
• 35:23
confluence of those factors comes together that it could be
• 35:26
a a very interesting time for those of you who got your
• 35:30
certification here on the website. 100% and also.
• 35:36
Is the is the is the surprise at the end of the certification
• 35:39
  process that there's a $50 fee? I'm just joking.
• 35:43
  I'm just joking. No.
• 35:45
But I, I, I, I do hope that that part of what happens as a result
• 35:49
of people playing with the site and, and seeing the other things
• 35:53
that we've got in the pipeline for, for improving and
• 35:56
improving, but maybe enriching engagement is that the folks
• 36:01
who've been maybe, you know, have a, have a few beans.
• 36:03
They're kind of the more reluctant duster.
• 36:05
They're kind of waiting to see what happens.
• 36:07
We'll realize that this is real, but there is a tremendously
• 36:10
powerful engine driving this thing forward and that they're
• 36:15
going to open up their wallets and say, yeah, I'm all in
• 36:18
because guess what? I, my wife and I, we are
• 36:21
literally, and I'm not, this isn't facetious.
• 36:23
This is not a joke. This isn't something I just say
• 36:25
for marketing. We are literally selling our
• 36:28
house right now and heaven will have been in the process of
• 36:32
trying to sell it for for some time and I will be buying and so
• 36:36
will she a whole slew more beans like I'm intending to be a
• 36:40
narwhal. That's I have a ways to go and
• 36:43
  I'm that's, that's, that's that's absolutely my intention.
• 36:46
And so this is the type of conviction.
• 36:48
I'm not the only one. By the way, there are lots of
• 36:49
people like, you know, one of the one of the legends in the
• 36:52
community, Scott DCA is every day.
• 36:54
There are a number of folks who follow that practice.
• 36:58
I don't mean to single him out specifically, but he's a great
• 37:00
exemplar of this. People who believe in this so
• 37:05
much, they continue, continue to buy and it's so.
• 37:11
  It's incredible. Go ahead.
• 37:13
Yeah, if you were to Scroll down around the bottom of this page,
• 37:16
  can I point? Out.
• 37:17
Yeah, yeah, think quickly because I spent all this time
• 37:19
drawing with my crayons. So our market cap is well let me
• 37:25
say it this way Bark coins market cap is 20 times bigger
• 37:29
than ours, 20X their social mentions are two times more than
• 37:34
  ours. OK.
• 37:35
And again that mentions just measures like the number of
• 37:39
times that bark coin was mentioned in the post.
• 37:42
I I would still argue that our 180K yeah, 180, yeah, they have
• 37:49
  360 K that are 180 K are higher quality.
• 37:52
And with that, I'll be quiet and Scroll down like you asked me.
• 37:55
  Exit. I don't know.
• 37:55
  It's, that's a, that's a really good point, Ron is the other
• 37:58
part, the other small part of this, maybe not so small.
• 38:01
  I think it's very significant part of this is I, I, I'm a, I'm
• 38:05
an avid scuba diver. I was a scuba instructor for a
• 38:08
period of time and I, I worked at this place in the Philippines
• 38:11
called Herb's Dive Club. And, and their, their, their
• 38:13
slogan was don't panic, it's organic.
• 38:15
Always comes to my mind because that's our community.
• 38:18
Like you look at those numbers and you think, oh, well, there's
• 38:20
some bots or whatever. No, no, no, don't panic.
• 38:22
  It's organic. It's all organic.
• 38:25
And there's and, and think about usually, at least here in the
• 38:28
United States, anytime you want to acquire anything, usually
• 38:31
food that's labeled as organic, it has a higher value associated
• 38:36
with it, A. 100%, 100%. So, yeah, we've got some charts
• 38:41
here for those who are more visual, right?
• 38:43
They want to see what, what the price looked like over time.
• 38:46
And then what is our volume? How, how, how, how are the
• 38:50
averages here stack up against that.
• 38:52
So that's, that's here. But also to a point that you
• 38:54
made earlier around, which is very, very important.
• 38:56
And that's something that's actually woven into the fabric
• 38:58
of this site here and on another page that we'll go into a moment
• 39:02
into in a moment. Sorry, little sleep.
• 39:05
I was working on this till midnight last night, but if you
• 39:08
Scroll down a little bit farther, there's this key thing
• 39:11
that we that we're out to provide and it's called, it
• 39:14
starts with T, it's called transparency.
• 39:17
It's something that's very near and dear to my heart is we can
• 39:20
say whatever we want and people can go, yeah, but you massage
• 39:23
the numbers. This isn't real, I guess.
• 39:25
What folks, it is real. You can go to the Gecko API, you
• 39:29
can go to Gecko website. You can get exactly the same
• 39:31
numbers that our website has. There'll be two within an hour
• 39:35
because you can see the time stamps on the bottom of what
• 39:37
when the information was updated, you know, holder scan.
• 39:40
You can see what we're getting from them.
• 39:42
You can look at Lunar Crush and what we're getting from them.
• 39:45
This is this is unveiled in in some wall of secrecy.
• 39:47
This isn't some behind the scenes magic that's pumping up
• 39:50
our numbers or, or maybe selecting the ones that look the
• 39:53
prettiest. No, this is the real raw
• 39:55
information. And if you want to validate it,
• 39:57
if you want to verify it, it's right here.
• 40:00
Again, this is this is how we start to build trust.
• 40:04
  Yeah. And trust breeds conviction,
• 40:06
right? Because it's based on something.
• 40:08
And I'm convinced that it's going to do well because I
• 40:09
trusted. You know, it's interesting you
• 40:12
bring up the T word. When I was in Paris at the
• 40:14
Ledger conference, had a long conversation with one of the top
• 40:20
executives and he was asking me about my YouTube journey prior
• 40:24
to getting into Unicorn fire dust.
• 40:25
And he said it. But I agree with it, and I've
• 40:28
said this all along, trust is everything.
• 40:31
I mean, it is the cornerstone foundation of everything.
• 40:36
And I think that that what I've done and what everyone else,
• 40:40
including you and the community has done, the people that stick
• 40:44
around in our community are generally a little more mature,
• 40:48
  responsible, and absolutely trustworthy.
• 40:51
It's almost like a natural market force weeds out the
• 40:56
people that aren't trustworthy, if that makes sense.
• 40:59
And I think this giving references on our website is a
• 41:03
is yet another reflection of that.
• 41:06
Absolutely. And I mean you, you, you say
• 41:07
it's so beautifully run. And this has become of our, our
• 41:11
  credo, right? Good attracts good.
• 41:13
And this goes for other things as well, like like attracts,
• 41:16
like you were talking yesterday on the live stream, like ducks
• 41:19
fly with ducks or yeah, however you put it.
• 41:22
But this, this is it. It's it's also trust attracts
• 41:25
trust and trustability. So this is this is cool.
• 41:28
And nobody's perfect not to go down a rabbit hole.
• 41:30
Nobody's perfect, right? It's the, I think, the
• 41:33
  underlying intention of the community.
• 41:37
Nobody's hell do. It has to be absolutely perfect,
• 41:40
right? I can assure you, and Susie can
• 41:42
attest, I'm far from perfect as a husband, a father, everything
• 41:46
else, a meme coin, boomer based dev, anything.
• 41:51
But I think it comes down to the intention that people have,
• 41:54
right? And I know from knowing you as
• 41:57
well as I do that you intend to do things that are going to
• 42:00
inspire trust in the community. And I everyday do things that I
• 42:05
believe will inspire trust in the community.
• 42:08
And as an added bonus, I like to always throw in, it's a lot
• 42:11
easier to operate that way. You feel better and it's a lot
• 42:14
simpler. 100% it really is way fewer things to remember, right?
• 42:20
  It's just. Yeah, exactly right.
• 42:22
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. Did I say this?
• 42:24
I don't remember. I was like, no, I just told the
• 42:26
  truth. That's all I did.
• 42:28
  It's easy to remember. Yeah.
• 42:31
Maybe the next, the next page actually, because of this, this
• 42:33
goes with with onboarding trust. We, we looked at onboarding
• 42:37
right and, and, and the lower and all the details, but the
• 42:40
community is the next page where, where we really start to
• 42:42
showcase that, that level of transparency and what we do.
• 42:46
So the first thing we've we've talked about this before.
• 42:49
You know, Ron, you, I've had the pleasure of being on your live
• 42:51
stream previously and, and, and I talked about the fact that we
• 42:56
have a structure in place and you've been mentioning it on, on
• 42:58
various streams as well. And, and this is also something
• 43:03
  that it's not, it's not a pyramid.
• 43:07
We're not sitting at the top of it dictating how things are
• 43:09
going to be done. And this is, you're far, far,
• 43:12
far. It's not exactly, it's laughable
• 43:14
that that's what it would be. It is, it is the opposite of
• 43:16
  that. It's, it's a servant leadership
• 43:18
model that works within our distributed fabric.
• 43:23
And we are here representing certain pillars of capability,
• 43:29
but on the shoulders of this team, if you will, of this
• 43:32
grouping is the community. Like we are here to prop up the
• 43:37
community. We are here to serve the
• 43:39
community. We are here at, you know, at
• 43:42
your, not at your disposal necessarily, but we are here to
• 43:46
improve value for all and to make things better for all, to
• 43:50
provide value for the community. And, and everyone's here because
• 43:54
they want to be here, right? No one's being paid by Unicorn
• 43:59
fart dust. It's AI think I like the way you
• 44:02
say that because we are right, a distributed decentralized
• 44:07
community, no doubt about it. But I do think having a level of
• 44:13
structure available within that decentralized, overall
• 44:18
decentralized environment can lead to some real efficiencies
• 44:22
and some real benefits for the overall good of the project.
• 44:28
100% And so here you get to meet the UFD leadership.
• 44:33
And by the way, even the word leadership or we don't we, we,
• 44:37
we internally call ourselves the leadership council.
• 44:40
There's a difference between team and council, where team
• 44:42
focuses more on the kind of tactical execution of tasks,
• 44:45
whereas a council focuses more on keeping the lower, keeping
• 44:49
things consistent with the ethos of, of a project and so on.
• 44:53
And I, and I think that that's what we're evolving towards.
• 44:55
But even just the moniker of it, the name may not resonate with
• 45:00
with everybody. Some people may kind of get
• 45:02
exactly the wrong feel about it, but they're being now told what
• 45:06
to do that, that that isn't it. And as a matter of fact, even
• 45:08
the name is mutable and changeable.
• 45:11
And we invite the community. And so this is going to be
• 45:13
something we're launching very soon, but the announcements
• 45:16
coming up about our community Discord and one of the first
• 45:20
things that we're going to have on the community Discord as a
• 45:22
group activity and why Discord and not X?
• 45:25
I'll also go into this in a moment, really briefly, but in
• 45:30
Discord, we'll have a venue for our community members.
• 45:32
We're going to have a poll with, with a few different possible
• 45:35
names, and we're going to take your vote as to what you wish
• 45:39
for us to be called. So what resonates with you the
• 45:41
most? There are a few things been been
• 45:44
thrown around. You know, personally, I like
• 45:45
lore keepers because it kind of makes me think of Lord of the
• 45:48
Rings a little bit. But you know, and and and and
• 45:53
the whole Unicorn image. That kind of fits with that for
• 45:55
me in my mind at least. But but even something like
• 46:00
that, we want to give the community of a voice and, and
• 46:03
this website is only a part of it, but it extends out beyond
• 46:07
it. And Discord is going to be the
• 46:08
next big piece that provides a lot more interactivity as far as
• 46:12
gathering your ideas, having having a chance to vote on those
• 46:15
ideas and and the reason why not X in X, you can vote multiple
• 46:21
times on the same issue. You can turn a butt on a on a
• 46:25
pole and and we see what that looks like, right?
• 46:28
  Yes. The numbers.
• 46:30
The numbers can be very deceiving.
• 46:33
Whereas on this court it's 1:00 to 1:00.
• 46:34
And on this court, you're going to connect your, your, you know,
• 46:37
your wallet, whether it's your full wallet or, or whether you
• 46:40
just spin up a temporary one with a, with a few beans in it
• 46:43
to get a validate as a duster. And guess what, if you sell your
• 46:46
beans, your duster designation gets revoked because that's the,
• 46:50
the thing keeps striking in the background periodically.
• 46:52
All it is, is a read. All it is is a read.
• 46:57
That is that that I like that. That sounds very cool, Georgie,
• 47:02
Jack, Nate and Scott. And this is this is static too.
• 47:07
Some people depending on what's going on in their life in any
• 47:10
given time. We don't want anybody to leave.
• 47:12
We're very appreciative. But other people could be added
• 47:16
to this UFD council leadership, whatever name we wind up using
• 47:20
in the future. Is that is that a safe
• 47:23
assessment exit? 100% And actually, if you were
• 47:26
to Scroll down just a tiny bit, Ron, there's a, there's a little
• 47:29
blurb here that, that, that, that actually speaks to that a
• 47:33
bit. And the leads are supported by a
• 47:35
cast of what we call Team Shadows.
• 47:38
So these are folks who are working with us.
• 47:40
They may, you know, there are other people who are part of the
• 47:42
leadership group who just, they, they prefer to stay in the
• 47:45
  background and provide, provide supports.
• 47:50
They've got plenty of things on their plates and, and they have
• 47:53
busy, busy lives. So they don't necessarily want
• 47:55
to be be public. And there are other folks who
• 47:58
maybe don't have the same level of leadership experience from
• 48:01
their past and yet they are looking to for some mentorship,
• 48:05
they're looking to get involved, they're looking to contribute.
• 48:08
And each one of us visible on up on that board is working with a
• 48:14
group of others, whether or not actively yet we will be.
• 48:18
That's the whole intention is so that if, you know, if I get hit
• 48:22
by a bus or whatever, if something happens to any one of
• 48:25
us, that there is a small group of people who are ready to take
• 48:28
that place. You know, we all have things
• 48:31
happen in our lives. You know, there'll be a point in
• 48:33
time when I want to spend a bunch of my time underwater,
• 48:37
like looking at the, at the cool world and, and I won't have my
• 48:39
phone with me there. And that's the whole idea is to
• 48:42
unplug and, and there'll be others who are stepping in.
• 48:46
And, and so this, this, this, this is also how we keep true to
• 48:51
the distributed ethos of of crypto and UFD.
• 48:55
Maybe you can live stream when you're underwater, you never
• 48:57
know. Maybe I think I think some
• 49:01
people would be amazed and surprised what you can see.
• 49:04
But if if you were to Scroll down around this, this page also
• 49:08
reveals some additional details like we want to show off the
• 49:11
recognition that we have as part of the community.
• 49:13
So this is this is one of the pieces of the site that reads
• 49:16
from a file. So it's very easy for us to add
• 49:20
names to this is very easy to to add information to this.
• 49:24
And these are the folks that we recognize.
• 49:26
There's a lot it shows the last 10 is is is what it is, is we
• 49:28
have a lot more. We don't want to make this so
• 49:30
someone has to scroll for, you know, whoever knows how long,
• 49:33
but it'll be the the last 10 that'll always, always show
• 49:36
there. Wow, oh wow, Can I go down here?
• 49:39
Yeah, please. We also have a community
• 49:42
showcase. So I just picked a few random
• 49:44
things to to show here. There are only three things that
• 49:48
if we click through it in the, in the carousel, it'll, it'll
• 49:50
show the different images. But the idea is that, you know,
• 49:54
I just picked some random things that, that kind of just, I don't
• 49:57
know, for whatever reason, those, those were the ones that
• 50:02
spoke to me as kind of things to showcase at the start.
• 50:05
But this can be as as big or as small as we want it to be.
• 50:08
Also very, very easy for us to add components to it and
• 50:12
showcase some of the creativity that we have as part of our UFD
• 50:16
  fabric. Wow, I love it.
• 50:18
I keep looking at Elizabeth jumping mid air with her.
• 50:21
We trust and there's Tazza, all right, And I said OK, there's DJ
• 50:26
  Litmus. So yeah, always.
• 50:28
And look at all that. I just since we're here, I love
• 50:31
the the collage pictures down at the bottom, everybody with their
• 50:36
which Vincent started that another key community member.
• 50:39
He started that's we try. He's a great guy, right?
• 50:44
I mean, and as the Leadership Council evolves, like we said,
• 50:47
who knows, you know, who may want to or who we invite to, to,
• 50:52
to become part of that. Yes, yes, yeah.
• 50:56
We, I mean, and, and because we're doing things in a way
• 50:59
that's repeatable, that's process based, we actually have
• 51:01
an application form. That's something that we all,
• 51:03
even internally, the people who are already there, we feel we
• 51:06
fill out a form so that we know what are our key skill sets.
• 51:10
You know, what, how do they intersect, what, what may be
• 51:12
missing? And as new members put their
• 51:16
hand up and want to, want to want to join the table that
• 51:18
that's, you know, if a lot of application, and then we review
• 51:21
it and when we talk about it and we don't want to have a cast of,
• 51:24
of, of, you know, 100 people because it becomes very
• 51:27
difficult to manage it. But, but having, having
• 51:30
something that's right sized and, and with that, with that
• 51:33
cast of supports that are used to step in at any moment as
• 51:36
well, that's, that's very, very useful.
• 51:38
So we're not living in an echo chamber.
• 51:39
We truly are honoring the distributed nature.
• 51:42
Awesome. And then scrolling down around,
• 51:44
if we just kind of maybe follow the page nearly at the bottom
• 51:47
there, the thing that that people ask about a lot is what's
• 51:50
going on in the community. And, and, and, you know, there
• 51:53
are some more casual dusters who they just don't necessarily have
• 51:55
the time to listen through as beautiful and interesting as
• 51:58
these live streams are. And we have a lot of different
• 52:00
events that happen, like not events, but repeatable things
• 52:04
that happen where we share ideas about what the events are or
• 52:08
things like that. We kind of want to have an at a
• 52:10
glance place of what these things are.
• 52:12
And I mean, the leadership town hall is just a placeholder date
• 52:15
there. But something that I'll be
• 52:17
talking about on our on our Monday meeting is I think that
• 52:20
it'll be worthwhile for us to actually have something maybe
• 52:23
monthly recurring or whatever the cadence of it will be,
• 52:26
whatever the frequency it will be that allows the community
• 52:30
members just to join the leadership group and, and kind
• 52:33
of listen to U.S. chat about things and throw out their ideas
• 52:36
as well. And sometimes you want to, you
• 52:39
want to step into the sausage factory just to make sure that
• 52:41
it's as organic as you hope it is.
• 52:44
Right. No, I think that's a great idea.
• 52:46
Yeah, I mean, DJ Litmus, of course we want to, we want to
• 52:49
feature something like that because it's it's such a cool
• 52:51
thing. And, you know, my head is
• 52:53
already bopping in the background here thinking of the
• 52:54
awesome tunes. We're going to hear this this
• 52:56
Friday, Yeah, some guidelines about about, yeah, about some,
• 53:01
some what, what are the things that we want to think about as a
• 53:05
duster, right? Being kind and respectful, being
• 53:07
positive and so on so forth. So you can scroll through there
• 53:10
that will as you visit the site and and kind of see see how that
• 53:14
fits you, right. But these are the things that
• 53:17
that that make us who we are by, by, by, by hold build.
• 53:21
  Yeah. Awesome, I love it.
• 53:22
  Wow. Wow.
• 53:23
There's a lot on this website, really awesome.
• 53:28
Yeah, and and again to the topic of transparency, you know people
• 53:35
have asked number of times what's in this marketing wallet,
• 53:39
you know, I'm donating money to it 11 what's you know, what are
• 53:43
we holding there? What's what's his value and and
• 53:45
to what's being done with it. So, so this provides an up to
• 53:50
date and it tells there's a little time step on the, on the
• 53:52
bottom to say when it was last updated.
• 53:55
It also updates hourly so that we're not hitting that plug over
• 54:00
and over and over and wearing it out, so to speak, right.
• 54:03
But it, it also shows the address there.
• 54:05
And if you click on the address, it takes you to a separate site
• 54:07
that actually shows the, the, I think it's the soul scan data
• 54:12
directly so that you can see that we're not manipulating
• 54:14
this, this information in any way.
• 54:16
It is, it is unadulterated and raw and coming in and as an
• 54:20
adjunct to it on our Discord, on our community Discord, we
• 54:23
already have built a channel. So these are groupings of
• 54:27
information that you go to. It's kind of like a tab on a
• 54:29
website for those more traditional folks.
• 54:33
And, and in in that Channel, you'll also see the transfers in
• 54:36
and out of that wallet and information about what money is
• 54:39
being committed to. So, so this is our commitment to
• 54:42
continue transparency and just providing information so that
• 54:45
members at a glance can get this view.
• 54:46
They don't have to go somewhere to request it.
• 54:48
They don't have to, you know, you don't have to be fussed
• 54:51
about it. They just go and they see it.
• 54:54
There's a lot of good data on this website, things that would
• 54:59
take me 5 hours to discover, from social metrics to wallet
• 55:04
information to so much more. That's like all right here in
• 55:08
one simple place like a dashboard.
• 55:12
That's exactly it, you know, and, and, and also because
• 55:16
probably looking at time, we'll be wrapping up soon and, and,
• 55:18
and I know that maybe we wanted to show what this experience
• 55:21
also looks like on the mobile because the site is very Oh
• 55:23
yeah, yeah. For the technically minded
• 55:26
called responsive. But before, before we go there,
• 55:28
there's, there's one other thing I wanted to to talk about kind
• 55:31
of geek out here for one, one moment for for folks who maybe
• 55:34
are a little bit more technically minded as far as how
• 55:38
this is set up. So the way that we've set this
• 55:41
up is it mirrors an enterprise development and release
• 55:45
  pipeline. So very large organizations
• 55:48
that, that have big websites or applications, when those
• 55:53
applications are being built or when they're being maintained
• 55:56
or, or run because, you know, you run an application that gets
• 56:00
new features and updates periods of time and get certain fixed
• 56:03
releases, certain certain time. They have a way in which they
• 56:07
  organize it. And that's what it's, that's
• 56:09
what it's called. It's called a development and
• 56:11
release pipeline, meaning that we do things in stages.
• 56:15
So the way that this works is I on my system right now, and this
• 56:20
is something that is set up in a way that others can collaborate
• 56:23
on. I make some certain changes on
• 56:25
my system. I commit them into a repository
• 56:29
for those interested, it's on GitHub.
• 56:30
  It's a private 1. So this isn't something that
• 56:32
we're exposing to everybody, but people can be invited to it and
• 56:35
like for example, just a guy is a contributor in that repository
• 56:38
and can download code from it and modify that code.
• 56:42
And so we have that the repository will be in which we
• 56:46
have two main branches like buckets.
• 56:49
The first buckets, what I've done my changes locally, I
• 56:52
commit them to pre production. So it's kind of like the testing
• 56:56
  bucket. Our website provider
• 56:59
automatically picks it up and creates a temporary address
• 57:03
where I can go and test that things look and feel the way
• 57:05
that I expect them to. And you know, making these
• 57:08
modifications until midnight last night, making a couple of
• 57:11
fixes here. There were a few things that,
• 57:14
you know, I would miss certain bracket and something's just not
• 57:16
working. So, so absolutely these things
• 57:20
happen and then I would go and recommit another another change
• 57:24
tested. Yes, it's working and looking
• 57:25
  good. OK, fantastic.
• 57:26
I press a button, it goes into the name, what's what's called
• 57:30
production bucket, and our website automatically picks it
• 57:33
up, builds it and displays it within about 5 minutes.
• 57:36
So, you know, there there's this, this staged process, you
• 57:40
know, large organizations have even more buckets than that.
• 57:44
But for, for our purposes, we, we have, we have these, we have
• 57:48
these ones and, and it works really, really well.
• 57:50
I think it's very, very slick, not just from the fact that it's
• 57:54
slick, but it's, it's something that it is incredibly
• 57:57
  functional. It allows for collaboration.
• 57:59
So I'm not like Wizard of Oz sitting behind some screen,
• 58:02
right. Other people can, can join us
• 58:05
who, who want to participate, who, you know, of course they
• 58:08
would need to be vetted because we have some certain secure
• 58:10
information as far as keys that allow us to access the
• 58:12
information from Lunar Crash and so on, so forth.
• 58:14
But but we have people who, you know, may have development
• 58:19
expertise and they want to contribute in the future.
• 58:21
It's enabled for that. Not only is it enabled for that,
• 58:24
it's built for it, and it's built for it in a way that's
• 58:27
  very robust. Interesting.
• 58:30
So it's not like one person controls it and has ultimate
• 58:35
authority over it. It's built in a way that it can
• 58:38
stand the test of time. Is that is that accurate?
• 58:41
100% the test of time and the provider that we're using
• 58:46
Cloudflare is, is one of the top providers in the world are
• 58:50
actually used for many purposes, even by those who host their
• 58:52
websites elsewhere. Their infrastructure has those
• 58:55
multiple servers around the world that provide redundancy
• 58:58
and so on. They're the ones who do a lot of
• 59:01
the verification things for are you human when you visit a site,
• 59:05
you see a little Cloudflare banner pop up and then you get
• 59:07
verified. So we're, you know, we're
• 59:12
swimming with the big boys and and robust and and durable and
• 59:17
meant to survive and here for the long run, all these things
• 59:20
are built into the fabric oversight.
• 59:23
Sounds great. Do we want to look at the road
• 59:25
map or do we want to do the the mobile this?
• 59:28
Well, maybe, maybe let's, I mean, it's up to you, Ron,
• 59:31
really. But maybe we show we show the
• 59:33
flavor of it on a mobile device because folks will discover
• 59:36
other pieces here. Of course, the road map speaks
• 59:38
to, you know, where we've been, where we are, some fun ideas for
• 59:42
a potential future. And again, like for the Discord
• 59:45
server, when it once it goes live, really, really encourage
• 59:48
everybody to sign on to it, get verified as a duster ASAP
• 59:51
because you'll have access to so many cool things.
• 59:54
And you know one of them will be having a voice in having a voice
• 1:00:01
in what comes next. What do we focus on next?
• 1:00:05
We want to hear your ideas. Yeah, this is this is your
• 1:00:09
website. If you're a duster, this is your
• 1:00:11
website. And I meant to say that when you
• 1:00:13
showed the leadership council or leadership group, whatever we're
• 1:00:17
going to call it, like the, I know all, everybody on there and
• 1:00:20
like, this is not an ego thing. It's a community thing.
• 1:00:24
I think that that that's, I talk about our community being
• 1:00:27
mature, responsible, and, you know, nobody's perfect, but
• 1:00:31
generally there aren't any big, huge egos in our community.
• 1:00:35
People are willing to listen and and and willing to do things for
• 1:00:40
the overall good of the project. Absolutely.
• 1:00:43
And this is the other, the other fun little thing about about our
• 1:00:46
about our team is I think in almost everybody on it, if not
• 1:00:50
everybody on it didn't actually come to your own and say, can I
• 1:00:53
be a part of leadership team or anything like that?
• 1:00:56
It's more like we were tapped on the shoulder because we were
• 1:00:58
  doing this already. Yeah.
• 1:00:59
And someone tapped us and said, hey, I think that you'd be good
• 1:01:02
being part of a group and contributing.
• 1:01:04
  So yeah, you're absolutely right.
• 1:01:06
I was thinking of this the other night.
• 1:01:08
I've never asked anyone for anything since I started UFDI.
• 1:01:13
Didn't ask that people replenish my beans.
• 1:01:15
That's a kind of a side subject matter.
• 1:01:19
People step up. And I think again, that speaks
• 1:01:22
to the organic community feel that this project has that makes
• 1:01:28
us very, very unique. Like people just step up,
• 1:01:31
volunteer and, and, and then just now we call it through the
• 1:01:36
community market, right? The good people, the cream rises
• 1:01:39
to the top and people stick around.
• 1:01:42
The good people really embed themselves within UFD.
• 1:01:48
And I'm saying that this now for the third time, but I really
• 1:01:50
think that makes this project way different.
• 1:01:53
  Absolutely. Want me?
• 1:01:56
Want me to show it on mobile? If you, if you, if you'd like
• 1:01:59
  to, let's, let's, let's make this happen.
• 1:02:02
OK, so I'm going to I went to Google and put in Unicorn fart
• 1:02:04
desk website and we'll see how the camera does with this.
• 1:02:09
Here we go. Boom, there it is.
• 1:02:12
Can they see that? Yeah, I can.
• 1:02:15
I can see it. Maybe not perfect, but you can
• 1:02:16
see that there's something coming up.
• 1:02:18
OK, now you have to press something there.
• 1:02:20
So I understand and agree blah blah blah.
• 1:02:23
Becoming an active member, you can get addicted.
• 1:02:25
Oh, wow, so there's this is really optimized.
• 1:02:28
This is cool. I like it on the desktop.
• 1:02:33
But yeah, I mean, look at that, join the herd stats and trust
• 1:02:37
all the different components that we looked at are right
• 1:02:40
here. And the two bubbles on the top,
• 1:02:43
on the left hand side, you've got our logo and on the right
• 1:02:45
hand side is what's known as a hamburger menu.
• 1:02:47
So that's how you can navigate to different pages on mobile
• 1:02:50
very easily. So at a glance, all of the
• 1:02:54
functionality works correctly. We've tested on it on Android,
• 1:02:58
we tested on iPhones. Yeah, I'm Android and there's
• 1:03:01
the film and I can attest, look at like scrolls.
• 1:03:05
Yep, there you go, now you. There you are.
• 1:03:08
I do everything on my phone really looks good on this.
• 1:03:12
You know, old Android phone that I use.
• 1:03:15
Really, I can only imagine what it would look like on an iPhone,
• 1:03:20
a newer iPhone, whatever. Very cool exit.
• 1:03:22
I like it. I like this a lot.
• 1:03:24
I loved it on the desktop, but. This is cool, I'll tell you
• 1:03:26
around. It looks better on your phone
• 1:03:28
than it does online. I need reading glasses more and
• 1:03:32
more often nowadays or my arm isn't quite long enough to give
• 1:03:35
me a good field of view on things.
• 1:03:37
But but you know, so I have it set up for the blind.
• 1:03:41
I'm just joking. But but I have larger fonts and
• 1:03:44
and with those larger fonts, it means it fits less on the
• 1:03:46
screen. So it's less than ideal on my
• 1:03:48
phone on my iPhone, but but tested on my wife's Android and
• 1:03:53
it looks looks great, just like it looks.
• 1:03:55
It look, it really looks incredible.
• 1:03:57
  I I clicked on the 1st Excuse me, I'm fighting a cold.
• 1:04:03
I clicked on the 1st frame, on the, on the, on the on the film
• 1:04:09
thing and there it is. I mean, yeah, no, I love it.
• 1:04:13
  Thank you. Exit.
• 1:04:15
  Oh, it's my pleasure, absolutely.
• 1:04:16
When we hang up I'll be on my phone checking this out, it
• 1:04:19
  looks great. Cool and.
• 1:04:21
By the way, by the way, exit. We have 500 people who have
• 1:04:25
joined us now, which is a lot for a cryptocurrency meme coin
• 1:04:32
live stream. So thank you everybody for being
• 1:04:34
here. Please retweet this so that we
• 1:04:36
can get the news out more and more about the website.
• 1:04:39
Don't forget we've got a hallow bean contest going on.
• 1:04:43
You can go to Georgie four 20s profile and X to learn about
• 1:04:47
  that. I'm probably forgetting some
• 1:04:49
things. Maybe exit will help me when we
• 1:04:50
get to the end here. But go ahead, exit.
• 1:04:52
Do we want to look at that last panel on the website?
• 1:04:56
We can, but I mean, really, it's yeah, the.
• 1:05:00
Last part of our. Road map really is the is the is
• 1:05:03
the last, the last piece that we NF these people can look at
• 1:05:06
themselves as well. We're showcasing some of our
• 1:05:10
incredible artists, but here we can.
• 1:05:13
This is this is actually my personal little quibble with
• 1:05:17
this is I had a different vision for a road map page.
• 1:05:20
So this is probably going to be one of the components of it that
• 1:05:23
  is modified first. Yeah.
• 1:05:25
You know, as you scroll across, there's a farting Unicorn that
• 1:05:28
flies flies around but. A translucent farting Unicorn, I
• 1:05:33
think I sometimes when I get too tired, I see him flying around
• 1:05:36
down here in my basement. Oh, really cool.
• 1:05:41
So you've got future plans, current activities, and hold on,
• 1:05:46
let me go down here. And then what's the first panel
• 1:05:50
  here? Past achievements.
• 1:05:53
It's past achievements. Awesome, Totally love it.
• 1:05:56
And are we going to stop now and let people discover the Easter
• 1:06:00
egg, discover the Easter egg for themselves?
• 1:06:04
Tomorrow night is the big DJ Litmus rave party.
• 1:06:08
I'll be posting about it. DJ Litmus will be posting about
• 1:06:12
it. We talked about the Halloween
• 1:06:13
contest. We will have IP coming out
• 1:06:16
sometime in the near future, but today the big news was the
• 1:06:20
website, which is incredible. I started out by saying thank
• 1:06:25
you, exit. I can't express how impressed I
• 1:06:27
am with what you've done. And to see this as a living
• 1:06:32
website evolve over time, as the community evolves, as the IP
• 1:06:36
comes out is really exciting, right?
• 1:06:39
And you know, you're a great example to me of a community
• 1:06:43
member who has skills and talents and you saw an
• 1:06:46
opportunity where you could help UFD and you've definitely
• 1:06:51
stepped up. So on behalf of myself upstairs,
• 1:06:54
Susie, who I just heard moving around upstairs in the whole UFD
• 1:06:59
community, seriously, thank you. And I loved it on the desktop,
• 1:07:03
but I got I am, I am like enamored with it on my phone.
• 1:07:07
So as soon as we get done here, you know I'll be picking my
• 1:07:10
phone up to to play around for a while.
• 1:07:13
Oh, that's awesome. I'm so pleased.
• 1:07:14
Thank you and, and thanks of course for, for, for your
• 1:07:18
inspiration and your leadership and, and everything, Ron and,
• 1:07:21
and to all of you in the community and, and those maybe
• 1:07:25
who are just tuning in to see what UFT is about.
• 1:07:28
This is so unique. This is I, I, I keep kind of
• 1:07:34
saying that the same thing, but you know.
• 1:07:37
Go ahead, say it. It, it makes it makes my eyes
• 1:07:41
water and it's inspiring. It is life changing.
• 1:07:46
I continue to aspire to the way of the Unicorn.
• 1:07:49
And for me, being in service of something greater than me is
• 1:07:53
that to, to have, you know, this sense of purpose for with
• 1:07:57
  something. It is life changing.
• 1:07:59
And I encourage, like I, I just encourage you as, as you know,
• 1:08:02
listeners or viewers take advantage of it because it's
• 1:08:05
here for the taking. It's and and and here for the
• 1:08:10
taking, and by taking, it's here for the giving.
• 1:08:14
  It's incredible. Yeah, yeah.
• 1:08:16
And it feels good to do good. It feels great to do good,
• 1:08:19
absolutely. Yeah, I was thinking, I was
• 1:08:21
talking to David Goldstein yesterday and I said or I was
• 1:08:25
  talking to somebody else yesterday.
• 1:08:26
I've been talking to a lot of people, but I said, you know, I
• 1:08:29
think if you take the vast majority of people in the world,
• 1:08:34
everywhere in the world, all age groups, and you put, you ask
• 1:08:37
them a question, do you want good or do you want evil, right?
• 1:08:40
That a good button and an evil button, I think like over 99% of
• 1:08:45
people press the good button, right?
• 1:08:47
  People want good. Nobody's perfect.
• 1:08:49
But you know, we really do have a unique project in so many
• 1:08:54
ways. I got to watch myself 'cause I
• 1:08:56
could talk for another 10 minutes about it, but it really
• 1:08:58
  is. It's a unique situation.
• 1:09:00
Is it hard work? Yes, but anything big, anything
• 1:09:04
good worth accomplishing in life is hard.
• 1:09:07
Otherwise anybody would do it right.
• 1:09:09
  Anybody. Anybody can start a
• 1:09:11
  cryptocurrency meme coin. Trust me.
• 1:09:13
Watch there's 10 minute YouTube video.
• 1:09:15
You can do it yourself. The hard part is right, and it's
• 1:09:19
what everybody in the community is doing, is showing up every
• 1:09:23
day because they believe in it, because they know that this is
• 1:09:27
something special and sticking with it day by day.
• 1:09:31
Yeah, I mean, not the website itself is a combination of about
• 1:09:33
100 plus hours of just my work accounting what other people put
• 1:09:36
into it. And yet I will say this, what I,
• 1:09:40
what I used to say when I worked in, you know, as an executive in
• 1:09:43
a large corporation and I had more than two team of more than
• 1:09:47
  200 people that I, that I supported as a, as a leader
• 1:09:50
that, that, that I worked for because that's how I saw it.
• 1:09:52
I worked for them as well as my clients.
• 1:09:56
I am one of the most selfish people you will meet.
• 1:10:00
  And, and I, and I, and I, I don't, I don't mean this in a
• 1:10:02
cheeky way. I just know that doing good pays
• 1:10:05
back a hundredfold. I'm, I'm selfish long term, not
• 1:10:09
short term, because short term selfish does never works.
• 1:10:12
It's actually counterintuitive, but I want to feel good.
