  SPEAKER_00: We say that sometimes uh just habitual.

  SPEAKER_00: The Lord knows.

  SPEAKER_00: But really, the Lord does know.

  SPEAKER_00: He knows our hearts.
• 0:17
  SPEAKER_00: He knows our motives.
• 0:20
  SPEAKER_00: He knows everything about us.
• 0:24
  SPEAKER_00: You can maybe fool me or people, but you can't fool God.

  SPEAKER_00: It's a waste of time to fool God.

  SPEAKER_00: Amen.

  SPEAKER_00: And so uh y'all remember one time I preached a message, and uh uh the the king told the woman to go to the man of God, the prophet, and uh he said, but disguise yourself and uh she came to the man of God and the prophet uh and uh he called her name out and uh she was trying to be somebody else, but he called her her name out.

  SPEAKER_00: Why too good he did it?

  SPEAKER_00: Because God knows everything.

  SPEAKER_00: God knows all things.
• 1:03
  SPEAKER_00: Amen.

  SPEAKER_00: And so it blows my mind that people try to hide stuff from people, you don't have to hide anything from people, you got to get right with God.

  SPEAKER_00: People don't have a heaven or hell to put you in.
• 1:18
  SPEAKER_00: It's God that you gotta get right with.
• 1:20
  SPEAKER_00: And so, and so the psalmist writes here, and he says in in uh verse one, he tells two contrasts.

  SPEAKER_00: In verse six, we read, the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

  SPEAKER_00: So he contrasts the righteous and the ungodly.
• 1:37
  SPEAKER_00: And uh he he contrasts their lives, and uh he sees and he knows everything about the righteous and about the wicked or the ungodly.

  SPEAKER_00: God, amen, sitteth high and looks whole, so he looks low.

  SPEAKER_00: Uh the psalmist will later write, said, If I make my bed in hell, he's there.

  SPEAKER_00: If I take the wings of a dove and fly into the uttermost parts of the heaven, he is there.

  SPEAKER_00: Where shall I flee from the presence of the Lord?

  SPEAKER_00: There is nowhere that you can go to hide from God.

  SPEAKER_00: Glory to God.

  SPEAKER_00: There is nowhere that we can go that God don't know about it.

  SPEAKER_00: And I thank God, amen.

  SPEAKER_00: That God knows my steps, God knows where I'm at, and God is able to help me.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm thankful that the Lord knows everything.

  SPEAKER_00: And so, amen.

  SPEAKER_00: Uh the psalmist said, Blessed is that man, verse one.

  SPEAKER_00: Blessed is the man or the woman, blessed is that person that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly.

  SPEAKER_00: And so he deals with a person that's taking ungodly advice.

  SPEAKER_00: Ungodly advice and getting counsel from somebody that don't even know the Lord.

  SPEAKER_00: And so he says, that person is blessed that don't walk in the counsel of the ungodly.

  SPEAKER_00: You know how it is.
• 3:15
  SPEAKER_00: Folk that don't know God, don't serve God, will try to give you advice about God.

  SPEAKER_00: Uh God, somebody will try to tell you something about the Lord that don't even know God.

  SPEAKER_00: Then you taking advice from somebody that's so far away from God.
• 3:28
  SPEAKER_00: And amen, and they're telling you something about your God.

  SPEAKER_00: And he said, That man is blessed that don't walk after that type of person because that person that walketh in that way is ungodly.

  SPEAKER_00: Uh yes, sometimes we listen to the wrong folk.
• 3:45
  SPEAKER_00: Well, we should be getting our counsel from the word of God.
• 3:49
  SPEAKER_00: Yes, the word of God, amen, is right all by itself.

  SPEAKER_00: Amen.

  SPEAKER_00: He said, I shall lead you and guide you, I shall take you by a way that you know not of.

  SPEAKER_00: Amen.

  SPEAKER_00: That person, so God is concerned about how you walk.

  SPEAKER_00: Uh, God is concerned about who you're listening to.
• 4:08
  SPEAKER_00: Uh, somebody might well say amen.

  SPEAKER_00: He's he's he's concerned where you're going and who you're getting your advice from.

  SPEAKER_00: There are a lot of folk that say that they know God that don't know God.
• 4:21
  SPEAKER_00: Yes, there are a lot of folk that will listen to people who are ungodly, but telling you how to run your household.

  SPEAKER_00: And they don't know how to run theirs.
• 4:32
  SPEAKER_00: There were a lot of folk that give you advice what you ought to do, and they ain't doing what they're supposed to do.

  SPEAKER_00: When you want advice for somebody, the advice is lining up with scripture.

  SPEAKER_00: Amen.

  SPEAKER_00: You want advice for somebody to say, men not to always pray.
• 4:46
  SPEAKER_00: Lift it up holy hands without doubt and without wrath.

  SPEAKER_00: Amen.

  SPEAKER_00: So he said, That man that don't walk with the ungodly is blessed.

  SPEAKER_00: Don't listen to the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners.

  SPEAKER_00: So God is not just concerned about how you walk, he's concerned about how you stand.

  SPEAKER_00: Don't stand in the way of sinners or in the path of sinners.

  SPEAKER_00: Don't hang out with folk that you know that ain't trying to do nothing for God.

  SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes, those folk, amen, that will lead you astray.

  SPEAKER_00: Those folk, amen, that will lead you outside of what God wants you to do and what God wants you to be.

  SPEAKER_00: Don't don't you don't you go stand in the way of sinners.

  SPEAKER_00: Don't you do what they're doing.

  SPEAKER_00: Their path is the wrong path.

  SPEAKER_00: Straight is the gate, amen, and narrow is the way.

  SPEAKER_00: We want to stay on that path.

  SPEAKER_00: I want to be on the right path.

  SPEAKER_00: Anybody want to be on the right path?

  SPEAKER_00: Yes, I've got off the path before.

  SPEAKER_00: And just by the grace of God, I got back on the right path.

  SPEAKER_00: Oh, God, don't y'all make me preaching here.

  SPEAKER_00: Now that I'm on the right path, I don't want to get off the wrong path again.

  SPEAKER_00: Tell somebody, stay on the right path.

  SPEAKER_00: Watch who you're listening to, watch who you're taking advice from.

  SPEAKER_00: Watch who you're walking with.

  SPEAKER_00: Watch who you're standing by.
• 6:21
  SPEAKER_00: And stay in the way.

  SPEAKER_00: The Bible declares there's a way that seemeth right to a man, but the end thereof is the ways of death.

  SPEAKER_00: Yes, that's a dead way.

  SPEAKER_00: I want the living way.

  SPEAKER_00: Oh glory.

  SPEAKER_00: God.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm not trying to sweat in here.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to get up the road.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm not going to work too hard today.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm just going to say what the Lord told me to say.

  SPEAKER_00: Uh walketh.

  SPEAKER_00: He's concerned how you walk.
• 6:49
  SPEAKER_00: He's concerned who you're standing with.
• 6:51
  SPEAKER_00: And he's also concerned how you're sitting in the seat of the scornful.

  SPEAKER_00: So he's concerned, God is how you're walking, how you're standing, and where you're sitting at.

  SPEAKER_00: The scornful, the scornful are those that mock God.

  SPEAKER_00: Those that don't believe in God.
• 7:16
  SPEAKER_00: Those who say, Where are you at?
• 7:18
  SPEAKER_00: I thought he was coming.

  SPEAKER_00: There are, amen, the scornful.
• 7:21
  SPEAKER_00: Those that have been hurt.
• 7:23
  SPEAKER_00: And then they've just left their faith in God or had no faith at all.

  SPEAKER_00: God don't want you sitting with those types of folk.

  SPEAKER_00: Why don't God want us walking?
• 7:34
  SPEAKER_00: Why don't God want us standing?
• 7:36
  SPEAKER_00: Why don't God want us sitting in the place of the scorn folk?
• 7:39
  SPEAKER_00: Because those spirits are contagious.
• 7:43
  SPEAKER_00: Yes.

  SPEAKER_00: You ever hung around with somebody?
• 7:46
  SPEAKER_00: And uh and uh I'll use this because I said it to the young lady back there that was from uh say she lived in Georgia.

  SPEAKER_00: And so uh you ever been hanging around with folk and they said, I'm fitting to go do this, and uh, and then and then you know you used to say I'm going over there to do that, but then you've been hanging with them long enough so long you I'm fitting to go do this and I'm fitting to go do that.

  SPEAKER_00: Where'd you get that from?

  SPEAKER_00: You've been hanging around with that folk, and you done picked up that spirit of their conversation.

  SPEAKER_00: You never said that.

  SPEAKER_00: Oh, I know some folk, amen.
• 8:16
  SPEAKER_00: When they get around folk, amen, that they think that they have to impress, they change their talk of who they are.

  SPEAKER_00: Now they know they say wood, and when you're going, then you're going over there.

  SPEAKER_00: And when they get around folk, they say, Where are we going?
• 8:28
  SPEAKER_00: Are we going over here?
• 8:30
  SPEAKER_00: Do you see that over there?
• 8:31
  SPEAKER_00: You ain't never talked like that before in your life, amen.

  SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.

  SPEAKER_00: Yes, just tell somebody, just be yourself.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to be good today.

  SPEAKER_00: We got visitors in here, and I'm trying to be good, amen.

  SPEAKER_00: But y'all making me do I go out of myself.

  SPEAKER_00: Just tell somebody, be yourself.

  SPEAKER_00: You can do a whole lot more by just being yourself.

  SPEAKER_00: God wants to bless the real you.

  SPEAKER_00: And if you God wants to touch the real you, so the Lord is concerned how you walk, how you stand, and who you sit in, what seat you're sitting in.

  SPEAKER_00: Look to the person next to you and said, I hope I'm in the right seat.

  SPEAKER_00: And and you testify and tell them, yeah, honey, you're in the right seat.

  SPEAKER_00: And if you don't see them blessing God, then you know you're in the wrong seat.

  SPEAKER_00: And so we're gonna test it right now.

  SPEAKER_00: If you know you're in the right seat, take about seven minutes to bless the Lord.

  SPEAKER_00: Now look around while you're doing it, and if you don't see them clapping their hands, you might be in the wrong seat.

  SPEAKER_00: God is concerned on who you sit beside.

  SPEAKER_00: He's concerned, watch this, who your partner is, who your road dog is, your BFF.

  SPEAKER_00: Either you're gonna win them to the Lord or they're gonna win you to the world.

  SPEAKER_00: That person that picks the right folk to be around, the Bible describes that person as being blessed.

  SPEAKER_00: Either you're riding with them or you're not.

  SPEAKER_00: Anybody riding with the Lord this morning?

  SPEAKER_00: Who's on the Lord's side?

  SPEAKER_00: If you're on the Lord's side, tell the Lord, thank you.

  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I feel the Lord.

  SPEAKER_00: The Lord wants to do something in here for somebody.

  SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we feel like we got to fit in.

  SPEAKER_00: But sometimes fitting in can get you out.

  SPEAKER_00: God ain't looking for somebody to fit in.

  SPEAKER_00: He looked for somebody that's already in.

  SPEAKER_00: Good God Almighty.

  SPEAKER_00: Yes.

  SPEAKER_00: Listen to me.

  SPEAKER_00: He said that man that don't walk with them.

  SPEAKER_00: But that blessed man, his delight is in the law of the Lord.

  SPEAKER_00: He loves the word of God.

  SPEAKER_00: And in the law or in his word, does he meditate both day and night?

  SPEAKER_00: Yes, he keeps the word close.

  SPEAKER_00: He keeps the word close.

  SPEAKER_00: When you keep the word close, you keep the Lord close.

  SPEAKER_00: You ever noticed this?

  SPEAKER_00: That whenever you try to do something for the Lord, the devil will always bring people around you to try to take you down for what God wants you to go.

  SPEAKER_00: Anybody ever notice that?

  SPEAKER_00: You ever noticed the closer you try to get to God, the more the devil fights.

  SPEAKER_00: That's why you got to keep the word close.

  SPEAKER_00: Why?

  SPEAKER_00: Because you're gonna have to take that word and use it on that devil, and meant that he can't keep you bound.

  SPEAKER_00: And so he says, His delight is in the law of the Lord.

  SPEAKER_00: And on that word, he meditates both day and night.

  SPEAKER_00: Well, if I'm meditating both day and night, that covers all day and all night.

  SPEAKER_00: I got the word on my mind.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm thinking about the Lord.
• 13:36
  SPEAKER_00: I'm thinking about where I'm going.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm thinking about what God means to me.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm thinking about eternity.
• 13:43
  SPEAKER_00: We're gonna have to spend somewhere for eternity, someplace.

  SPEAKER_00: And I want to go back with the Lord.

  SPEAKER_00: How many of y'all want to go back with the Lord?

  SPEAKER_00: Yes, I'm gonna go back with God.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm suffering enough down here.

  SPEAKER_00: Can you imagine all this foolishness going on down here?

  SPEAKER_00: All the pain, all the hurt, all the disappointment, all the sickness.

  SPEAKER_00: I want to go back, amen, where there's no no no need for no pain, no sorrow, no tears.

  SPEAKER_00: You gotta let the people hear what God is saying.

  SPEAKER_00: When you hear what God is saying, you'll change.

  SPEAKER_00: Listen, he's concerned, and he says this he meditates on that where both day and night.

  SPEAKER_00: Now that man, then I'm gonna get back to the vision that Lord showed me while I was walking.

  SPEAKER_00: And uh that man or that woman shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water.

  SPEAKER_00: And that tree planted by the rivers of water is gonna bring forth his fruit in his season.

  SPEAKER_00: So uh listen to me.

  SPEAKER_00: Who you walk with, who you stand with, and who you sit with can produce, can choose which way or which fruit you produce, whether you produce or not.

  SPEAKER_00: His leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

  SPEAKER_00: So where you walk, who you stand, or who you sit with can not only choose the fruit that you bear, but it can uh denote whether you're gonna prosper or not.

  SPEAKER_00: And so that man is blessed.

  SPEAKER_00: A lot of our blessing is engulfed or entangled on whom we hang with.

  SPEAKER_00: And when you're hanging with the right folk, you're gonna prosper.

  SPEAKER_00: When you hang with the right folk, you're gonna be blessed.

  SPEAKER_00: I get a break from the air conditioning, and uh I can finally breathe without being so congested and being sick.

  SPEAKER_00: The wintertime, the heat, the heat comes, you know.

  SPEAKER_00: I call no names, but the ceiling fan is blaring.

  SPEAKER_00: My wife got the air conditioning on the ceiling fan going at the same time.

  SPEAKER_00: And I can't breathe, man.
• 17:04
  SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you.
• 17:05
  SPEAKER_00: And uh, and uh I'm I'm a little stopped up now because of the heat starting now, and I broke down and turned on the heat.

  SPEAKER_00: And so, uh, but this is my favorite time of year.

  SPEAKER_00: Uh it's beautiful outside and uh it's refreshing, and uh you can get outside and don't be I hate the heat, but uh he said that person gonna be like that tree planted by the rivers of water that bringeth forth his fruit in his season.

  SPEAKER_00: And because he's planted by the rivers of water, and he's meditating on that word, and he's not hanging with the wrong folk, he's gonna prosper.

  SPEAKER_00: And uh his leaves are not gonna wither, but whatsoever he do shall prosper.

  SPEAKER_00: So I saw as I was walking the other morning, I saw three trees.

  SPEAKER_00: I saw three trees, and uh the Lord took me to this verse when I saw the three trees, and I want to give you a little synopsis about trees, and uh he said that that man uh is bear gonna bear fruit, he's gonna be fruitful, and uh his leaves are not gonna wither because he's planted by the source, and we know that God is our source, we're planted by the source, and so I saw this tree, and uh as you note denote here, this tree is dead, and it's dead because of something called photosynthesis.

  SPEAKER_00: And photosynthesis is when the sun shines on the plant and it uses the water that the plant stores and it makes something called chlorophyll, and chlorophyll is used to keep the leaves green.

  SPEAKER_00: And so this tree has lost its leaves because of uh two reasons.

  SPEAKER_00: One is that the sun is not as bright as it used to be, and also it doesn't have a source where it's able to store a lot of water.

  SPEAKER_00: And so this tree is dead because it doesn't have much sun, su n.

  SPEAKER_00: And uh, it is dying because it doesn't have much water.

  SPEAKER_00: Now, us as individuals, if we don't get the S-O-N, the Son of God, Jesus, and more of the Word of God, we're gonna die just like this tree.

  SPEAKER_00: But I thank God, amen, that I'm not dead, I'm alive.

  SPEAKER_00: Oh God, we need the source of living water, and that's Jesus.

  SPEAKER_00: We need the word of God, and we need, amen, the Spirit of God to live.

  SPEAKER_00: Okay, now, and so this is a dead tree.

  SPEAKER_00: That tree is not getting any word, that tree is not being planted by the source, and that tree is not getting any sun.

  SPEAKER_00: How can all three trees get the same amount of sun, one be dead, and one be alive?

  SPEAKER_00: It's because this tree has the ability to store water, and it has the ability to nourish itself with water.

  SPEAKER_00: Like the tree planted by the rivers of water, it's leaves and not gonna fade.

  SPEAKER_00: The tree that is dead is not getting any more sun than that tree.

  SPEAKER_00: They're both getting the sun, but this tree is getting more water, which is the word of God, and that's why we've got to be in the house of God, we've got to have a prayer life, we've got to be in the presence of the Lord, and we're gonna grow in God, and we're gonna be fruitful in our season.
