- 0:08Speaker 1: Hey, welcome back.
- 0:09Speaker 1: It's the North Florida sports network.
- 0:11Speaker 1: We're doing all right.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Today it's a Friday, got a lot to get to.
- 0:17Speaker 1: We're going to talk about the NCAA Woot violation Friday.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Yeah, we got our NCAA cast of characters, or FSU contributor Jimmy Reno's, here and we got our Miami contributor, justin, on the line to talk about it, because I'm not here to dance on the grave guys.
- 0:42Speaker 1: No, there's no grave.
- 0:44Speaker 1: I'm not here to dance on the grave.
- 0:45Speaker 1: No, no, we're here to talk about it.
- 0:47Speaker 2: It seems like it's always.
- 0:48Speaker 2: It's always one of us Florida State or Miami when we're talking about the NCAA.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Well, we thought we were going to talk about a more hoops around this time.
- 0:58Speaker 1: We can get into that later, because that's still kind of crazy.
- 1:04Speaker 1: That's a little unpredictable.
- 1:06Speaker 1: But let's start it with.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Fsu has been hit with level two NCAA games for NIL in propriety in propriety.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Yeah, Jimmy Reno, let's take us through the details of what was laid down.
- 1:25Speaker 2: It's real easy.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Man Mems came here.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Marius Mems, Guy for Georgia, came here back in 2022 after he got in the portal.
- 1:32Speaker 2: For some reason, it was made public public news that the kid was going to show up at Florida State and everybody was there at the Moore Center to film pictures and all kinds of you know Internet reports were made and commitment articles that shouldn't have been put out were put out stuff like that but ultimately Alex Atkins drove the kid and his family to a boosters house who was part of this rising spirit collective, and then, I guess, left the room when, when this the booster and the kid were discussing payment to come here.
- 2:14Speaker 2: I mean, you know yeah you're pretty standard contract negotiation, which.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I guess.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Well, I think it's well, yeah, I mean, they're doing something that you kind of throw your hands up Everybody's doing it.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I guess that was wrong.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody's doing it.
- 2:28Speaker 2: The issue I have from Florida State side is just how sloppy everything was handled.
- 2:35Speaker 2: You know you don't come on, man, this is like what season.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Why are you taking notes during the criminal conspiracy Like?
- 2:43Speaker 1: well, I don't think they knew it was going to be like that Honestly, and that's kind of petty by the NCAA.
- 2:49Speaker 2: That's my problem.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Honestly with Florida State staff.
- 2:54Speaker 2: But yeah, it's petty, but the NCAA but definitely you can't put it out there, you know you know Georgia has, Georgia has no choice.
- 3:02Speaker 1: You think the dogs site is doing that.
- 3:04Speaker 1: You're saying like the site like war chant is like publishing its own evidence against the school it's covering way to go, guys, nice one.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Yeah, they're trying to try to be like the next Dan Lebatard reporting on the Pell Grant scandal.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, yeah, it's pretty much what you got there.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I mean, I don't think it was on purpose, though.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I think it's just kind of like oh man, did we?
- 3:30Speaker 2: accidentally just switch on ourselves.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Yeah, sorry guys, I just know it from Florida State.
- 3:37Speaker 2: The way I'm looking at it, man Like you guys got to run a bit of a tighter shit, right?
- 3:43Speaker 2: Well, you got to know who you're dealing with when you're trying to take a kid from Georgia.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Yeah, you got to know what the way that the world works in the Southeast when you're talking about football, that's true.
- 3:52Speaker 2: You ain't dangling it out there rubbing somebody's nose in it, because that's going to get calls from the UG movers and shakers.
- 3:59Speaker 2: This was two years ago.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Two years ago I mean desperate times called for desperate measures maybe, and I don't think this is happening now, but like I think this, you know, it's just really just what the who can't.
- 4:14Speaker 1: I don't think if you're a fan of college football and actually know what's going on.
- 4:18Speaker 2: I think it's happening now.
- 4:19Speaker 1: But like what does it matter?
- 4:20Speaker 1: Like why are?
- 4:21Speaker 1: Why are they getting penalized for what everyone's doing?
- 4:23Speaker 1: Like I don't understand that, that part about it.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Like what are we?
- 4:27Speaker 1: wasting time on the NCAA like investigation and compliance, for what we're paying the players anyway, like everybody's paying them.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Right, but they, they got it, they got it.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Every once in a while Find somebody to bully.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So I can still show some muscle.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Well, you know about that, right, Justin?
- 4:47Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, the comparisons, like I was telling you earlier, not not in actual like violations wise, but in the overall view of the of this situation at FSU right now.
- 5:00Speaker 3: First thing I thought of was Nevin Shapiro and freaking Al Golden with the hurricanes, when the NCAA just has a heart on for Miami, yeah, yeah and they're like and it it wrecked the program for five years.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Right, completely wrecked us.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Yeah, and dark cloud.
- 5:23Speaker 3: And it was a BS charge in the first place.
- 5:26Speaker 3: There I mean they're like oh, you got, you got free access to live, you didn't have to pay a cover charge.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Like give me a break.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it's similar.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Yeah, what the hell's going on?
- 5:34Speaker 2: It's like targeted here, like also at a time when the the credibility and the actual enforcement ability of the NCAA was being questioned in court.
- 5:44Speaker 2: And then it was just right.
- 5:45Speaker 1: And then yeah, go ahead.
- 5:47Speaker 3: And then in the during the Nevin Shapiro investigation, the NCAA got caught breaking their own investigation rules.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember that, I remember that Another investigation.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Yeah right.
- 5:59Speaker 3: I mean, and the targeting, like you said.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I think that's a perfect look, dude, I came to find out.
- 6:05Speaker 1: You know, I thought they keep saying this is the first major violation, for you know, for NIL related things.
- 6:12Speaker 1: But you know, if you look at it, Miami was hit first with a smaller one.
- 6:16Speaker 2: So it's funny that the first two programs are hit with violations for this prominent programs in the Southeast that actually utilize NIL, because Clemson does not Clemson does do the transfer portal?
- 6:28Speaker 3: Miami's crazy in Florida state State Everyone else that's funny that they're the first two that were penal.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Miami was penalized much less, much less, probably because they didn't lie about it.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Well, yeah, they didn't broadcast it and they didn't have their website.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Yeah, they didn't have the Keynes guy like falling around like taking pictures of stuff Like what like that's amateur hour right there.
- 6:52Speaker 2: That's where Florida state has no, nobody to blame but themselves for that aspect of it.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Well, I don't.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I I'm credentialed at in Pittsburgh.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and we don't have.
- 7:04Speaker 2: We don't have press credits bro.
- 7:06Speaker 1: No, we do it at some of the pro stadiums, yeah, but I don't know man, and that's.
- 7:13Speaker 1: That's different.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I don't think that was like I said two years ago.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I think I don't have a problem.
- 7:19Speaker 2: It wasn't intentional.
- 7:20Speaker 2: You'd like to assume you?
- 7:22Speaker 2: Know by anybody that has a website out there that you know helped snitch on Florida state.
- 7:29Speaker 2: But Come on, guys right.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Hey whatever gets clicks.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, it's info.
- 7:35Speaker 1: It leads.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Well, it's gonna be Interesting to see.
- 7:41Speaker 1: As you know, Alabama Looks for a coach.
- 7:45Speaker 1: You know they kind of predicted it would be today or by midnight.
- 7:50Speaker 1: By the stroke of midnight, Cinderella will be Put the glass slipper on.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Who's it gonna be?
- 7:56Speaker 2: I still think it's gonna be Norville, really yeah.
- 7:59Speaker 1: I know that's just right.
- 8:01Speaker 1: This is Jimmy Reno Just going what.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I.
- 8:03Speaker 2: What I think is they want Preparing for the one Klan, deboer or more.
- 8:06Speaker 2: I think he's their first choice, but I think DeBoer is actually gonna work this into a lot of money from Washington and more commitment.
- 8:14Speaker 1: That's another thing right there, right, and I think they'll, I think they'll pin running a freaking oh yeah Factory here.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Well look who, look what it is, look what it did for Dan Lanning.
- 8:25Speaker 1: like there's actually like we have to get Jimmy sex in like some sort of client cap or someone like I mean there's got to be collusion and like that unintentional here.
- 8:34Speaker 1: But goodness gracious, I mean he, he is representing everybody, like everybody knew an old, like nice guys retiring.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Okay, well, I got you another guy here.
- 8:46Speaker 3: My guys Right.
- 8:50Speaker 1: He's.
- 8:51Speaker 1: He's like that lead promoter of the boxing match which is college football.
- 8:56Speaker 1: He is the Don King of College football.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Yeah, like if college football was the match.
- 9:03Speaker 1: He's Don King.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Yes, he will get you a premier job and then create the hot seat to get you out of that job for another client right, that's the way he.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Is basically like sigh with me and you've guaranteed success, but I get to one of your kids right, Well, I.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Know a lot of fsu.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Fans are eager to find out what's gonna, what Norville is gonna do.
- 9:33Speaker 1: I think he's.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Shit.
- 9:35Speaker 3: I'm super eager to find out.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I would be interested too.
- 9:41Speaker 1: There's a lot of gator fans, so well, right now I did hear Napier did throw his name out there as interested Into the job but unfortunately oh, that's sweet.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Unfortunately, he's absolute garbage.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Well, as of this morning, you know, like earlier, 9 30, norville was eating breakfast with the transfer kids that are that are visiting Right from Alabama.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Yeah, that's some, that's some.
- 10:06Speaker 2: This is ironic.
- 10:08Speaker 2: This is the city.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Hire him and the transfers try to go back and he's like no, what do you think this is, you're?
- 10:14Speaker 1: good enough for me when I'm in.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Florida State yeah.
- 10:16Speaker 1: I can't play here.
- 10:19Speaker 3: I could tie that into some Alabama and Miami right there, because I remember Nick Saban at a press conference saying I will not be the next Alabama head coach and then by dinner time, dude was gone Right, right, right.
- 10:32Speaker 3: That's what happens when Alabama comes calling man right.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Norville just gets up to to use the restroom at breakfast and like.
- 10:44Speaker 3: Like hold on kids, hold on kids.
- 10:46Speaker 3: I'm just gonna run out and get a pack of cigarettes and some milk.
- 10:49Speaker 3: I'll be right back.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Text him a picture from Tuscaloosa.
- 10:55Speaker 3: I got the cigarettes and milk boys.
- 11:00Speaker 1: I.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Think he's gone.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Man, it's Alabama, it's like the.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Yankees, bro.
- 11:05Speaker 2: I know well, sometimes I think if they get, if think of it, gets to a point where they offer him the job, I think he probably takes it.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think he turns it down.
- 11:13Speaker 3: That's.
- 11:13Speaker 3: That's why, if Alabama offers him, I don't see how he could turn it down.
- 11:17Speaker 3: No.
- 11:17Speaker 2: I do.
- 11:18Speaker 2: The question is but Willie for me is like really get offered how high up the list is he really?
- 11:23Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 11:24Speaker 2: I think, he's pretty high up the list right right, I think.
- 11:27Speaker 3: But it's him.
- 11:28Speaker 3: What I've heard is him dabo, and then yeah, and then the guy from Washington.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Those are the three guys.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Right because they're not going, bill O'Brien sarks not leaving Texas.
- 11:40Speaker 2: No, now what I will say is, when they hired their basketball coach, the dude came out of Absolute left field Nate Oates.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Nobody had mentioned him.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Don't listen to anything.
- 11:51Speaker 2: He right quickly said that the next time I speak will be to announce me like dude Lane Kiffin getting announced at like 4 pm Today would be Wouldn't shock me but, I doubt it's gonna.
- 12:03Speaker 3: I've thought about laying Kiffin, but I Don't know that.
- 12:06Speaker 3: I haven't really heard any chatter about it.
- 12:08Speaker 3: That was the first guy that popped into my head as soon as they've been retired was kiffin.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I had a burn too many bridges.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I think that's what it is.
- 12:15Speaker 3: I think Lane Kiffin, lane kiffin a little too much.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Honestly, I think I think the intensity of that fan base is just a little bit too much for him.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I had a buddy who was an Alabama fan, who stopped being an Alabama fan when they hired Lane Kiffin as OC because it pissed him off so much.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I mean.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Like what do you really want to go into that hornet's nest?
- 12:39Speaker 1: I mean that's hey, I remember that.
- 12:42Speaker 1: You know it took saving going there and having a drill sergeant fan base and Listen, yeah, cuz Mike Shula, you, mike Shula was fired after back-to-back ten win seasons.
- 12:52Speaker 1: It's ridiculous.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I mean, I Don't know that, so that's.
- 12:56Speaker 1: I mean, if you there is, I do see in a world where he turns that down.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Let's, let's talk about it like, like the expectation for whoever it is, be it Norvel or the, the guy in Washington, it's immediately, it's gonna be like if by offer bus yeah by year three.
- 13:13Speaker 2: We haven't been in the playoff right right.
- 13:15Speaker 2: You're going into a dead man walking season.
- 13:17Speaker 2: I mean, look what you built.
- 13:19Speaker 2: You don't have to win a title in two years, but you damn sure bettle like be and in the contention and I think it matters how you're gonna be remembered.
- 13:27Speaker 1: You know, and like I think landing wants to be the first guy to win one in Oregon.
- 13:33Speaker 1: I agree that makes sense.
- 13:35Speaker 1: You know, like you can't take all this damn money.
- 13:38Speaker 1: I mean eventually I mean you got to have the money.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Know to play the players.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I think that's important.
- 13:42Speaker 1: That's the most important thing is to have.
- 13:45Speaker 3: That's a good reason to stay at Oregon with Phil Knight right.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Right, so we'll find out.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Well.
- 13:51Speaker 2: I think the, I think the region of the country actually fits Dan landing Personality.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I think he really likes it out there, right.
- 13:57Speaker 2: I think he would actually prefer it to the southeast, like that had a huge yeah.
- 14:02Speaker 2: I.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Pete Carroll couldn't coach at Georgia.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that wouldn't make sense, right, right, and you get Kirby smart and you know he grew up in Bainbridge.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Bro, that's a, that's a national.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Yeah, he's not going in, he's not doing anywhere and he's got it rolling and it like dude.
- 14:22Speaker 2: For a guy to be as successful as they are at a place like Alabama, you have to be Nick Nick Saban, someone in that same mold.
- 14:31Speaker 2: And I don't, I did, I don't you know, you're just, you're just predicting.
- 14:35Speaker 2: If you're thinking that any of those coaches out there can do it, Well, yeah, I, if you're looking, I don't see.
- 14:41Speaker 2: There isn't, there isn't.
- 14:44Speaker 2: It's ridiculous to think that any of those guys are gonna come any anywhere near any of the level of Success that Nick.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Saban had no.
- 14:52Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying, if you, if you want to, but it's that take under, like maybe I might have a better job for two or three years, but then I might not have a job.
- 14:59Speaker 2: You know why?
- 14:59Speaker 2: Because successful head coaches and college football are borderline sociopathic.
- 15:05Speaker 2: They have that insane drive.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Yes, and there's a challenge.
- 15:10Speaker 3: You always want to be the best.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Compete in the best scenarios against the best.
- 15:14Speaker 3: That's what the competitive nature of these guys at this level is right.
- 15:18Speaker 3: That's why I say, if they, if they offer him, I cannot see him turning it down, man.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Well, I, I understand that I get that will, will find out.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I you know, I think it's super interesting man.
- 15:29Speaker 3: This, this coaching stuff in the NFL and college over the past week has been insane, dude, I understand.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Yeah, florida State fan.
- 15:37Speaker 3: I mean it's other question with.
- 15:40Speaker 1: But that was in a different situation right with.
- 15:43Speaker 1: That was wildly different not, not after going now.
- 15:45Speaker 1: That would be similar to that that happened in 2014 or 2013.
- 15:49Speaker 3: If they he, if he did right then Well, and the money was just exponentially better at a and M at the time.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Right like right, Bama's money isn't exponentially better than what Florida State can offer your time.
- 16:01Speaker 3: What what Alabama offers is the press there.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Yeah, the prestige, everything Alabama, and it's already like literally all you got to do.
- 16:10Speaker 3: You got to think if you're a coach going into that running machine, all you got to do is change the oil.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Yeah, like you don't have to do, you just got to keep it going.
- 16:20Speaker 2: The biggest threat to you is the, the expectation.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I'm saying like you're not.
- 16:25Speaker 1: If you win it's gonna be like oh, he didn't do it, he just changed the oil.
- 16:28Speaker 1: He's just oh, he'll never be what Saban was.
- 16:31Speaker 3: I mean this guy right.
- 16:34Speaker 1: But I'm saying, though, if you reach the mountaintop of your career and you don't get the credit that you feel like you deserve, like I get right, like landing, wanting to stay at Oregon, saying because he Well, he has every first one right and he does the money All.
- 16:48Speaker 1: So the legacy that you want to leave.
- 16:50Speaker 1: He has ever.
- 16:51Speaker 3: My fans love Jean Stallings, bro.
- 16:53Speaker 3: Jean Stallings won one ring in a decade and he followed Bear Bryant.
- 16:56Speaker 3: And they love Jean Stallings.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a good, that's a good counter, but until until they didn't, yeah till they didn't they bring them back, they bring them back.
- 17:05Speaker 2: But you know he like With landing look at landing he has every reason to think that if he Gets Oregon to that undefeated and like, he's gonna be right there contending for a title, yeah, everything that's with Norville built by.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Norville like dude.
- 17:20Speaker 1: You just went 13 and right, it was all built by coaching of your career, right.
- 17:24Speaker 2: You didn't get shit.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Well, you got two coach of the year awards.
- 17:27Speaker 2: What's that?
- 17:28Speaker 2: That's a statue for nothing.
- 17:30Speaker 3: That's a that's a baby O'Brien.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Golden armor award man.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Oh, I know, Well, I understand that.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Yeah, that, that's the most improved tryhard award right there.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Well, you have to.
- 17:43Speaker 1: You know that's a free, that's never gonna happen again and you move forward.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Do you want to go build again?
- 17:49Speaker 1: Don't.
- 17:52Speaker 1: But now I will say I will.
- 17:54Speaker 2: I will say this, though dude like I think Say they hired Norville.
- 17:59Speaker 1: You have a good year, but that's not a guy, it's gonna be retained.
- 18:02Speaker 2: That let that a lot of that roster is gonna stick around for right.
- 18:05Speaker 2: He's somebody that has a very distinct style and a very distinct way of doing it and that's not gonna jive with a Lot of the kids that are at Alabama.
- 18:15Speaker 2: It's just a different style of Nick Saban and you know it's why you've seen Florida State struggle to sign a lot of high-end Southeast talent.
- 18:24Speaker 2: It's just not something that appeals to kids and certain at certain right points in their life.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Dude, the same thing happened when he got here after Taggart.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Now I know the talent level was down, but it was still the same mentality.
- 18:37Speaker 1: And that's.
- 18:38Speaker 1: I think you can get around that by using a transfer portal.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you can but dude your competition stepping up.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Right and that's, but that would be.
- 18:47Speaker 3: That would be a reason that my Alabama wouldn't right, they're definitely some negatives if you're not it from Alabama standpoint, and this this those negatives are gonna be there for damn near anybody brings in at this point.
- 18:59Speaker 2: I mean you look at watching this guy.
- 19:00Speaker 2: His recruiting is subpar, you know he yeah, he's had the same staff with him everywhere.
- 19:09Speaker 2: He's gone.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, well, we'll find out their pros and cons for a lot of guys.
- 19:20Speaker 3: It's got.
- 19:20Speaker 3: It's so interesting man.
- 19:22Speaker 3: I like this weekend's gonna be fun, just waiting for like stupid news reports.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Well, right, we might not wait Friday night.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Friday night, yeah, alabama doesn't want to wait, man, they want to get this done ASAP and the Friday news dump speaks to.
- 19:40Speaker 2: It's gonna be somebody that they know the fan base is gonna Not really be crazy about, right, and I think that this, this delay, has been.
- 19:49Speaker 2: They went looking for every Saban retread they could.
- 19:52Speaker 2: They could find Sarc landing, you know, kiffin.
- 19:55Speaker 2: They all told him no and they're like all right.
- 19:59Speaker 3: Well, honestly, sarc would have made sense if, if he, if Texas wasn't rolling right now.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Yeah, and they're going to the SEC anyway.
- 20:07Speaker 2: It's like dude, yeah, they're going to the SEC and Texas is Texas.
- 20:11Speaker 3: You know they, that's a brand.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Yeah, if y'all would exactly like, if you guys would have like made me a head coach and waiting when I was Building your own brand, though right now, like you're like, you're gonna just take over a brand that Nick Saban took over.
- 20:25Speaker 1: So, no matter what you do, you're just fucking changing the oil on his brand, and everything that you're putting Down at Florida State right now was from the like.
- 20:36Speaker 1: You don't have to know they didn't come from Bobby Bowden.
- 20:39Speaker 1: This was that's what Jimbo did then.
- 20:41Speaker 3: It was a really tiger took to the ground.
- 20:43Speaker 1: You came from the death and you're building your own brand right now at FSU right.
- 20:48Speaker 2: So let's look at it from a national, national perspective.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Maybe it's a guy that's always wanted to coach it.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Out of that they turn to hmm, maybe a guy that played it Alabama as a walk on, why see?
- 21:04Speaker 1: this is the time he was ever gonna do it.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Yeah and I and I you know honestly.
- 21:08Speaker 1: It would make the most sense for him.
- 21:16Speaker 2: I hope he stays at Clemson.
- 21:18Speaker 2: I'm gonna be honest with you.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Like I think, I think I'm just as long as they, they can't but he could go in there and do do the do what he did at Clemson.
- 21:26Speaker 1: You hire the best coordinator.
- 21:28Speaker 1: He wants higher, the best Staff, you'll have all that.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Oh, I just go like, I'm just gonna come here and be your cheerleader for right.
- 21:35Speaker 1: And he could do that and they would get.
- 21:37Speaker 2: So like I don't think he's out of the question, here I in terms of, in terms of of like what it would mean, like it would mean the world, the dabo.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Yeah, cuz I'm doing it for Alabama, this school that I played for if he said, if he says he did he wants to get offered, and if he doesn't think he will, he'll probably just say he's not in the mix, so he doesn't have to like.
- 21:58Speaker 2: They'd be stupid to not to not talk to them.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Oh, they're definitely even though I think he's washed.
- 22:03Speaker 2: They'd be stupid to not talk to.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I like I'm there with you because I've been saying it for two years, I think.
- 22:10Speaker 3: I think Clemson's on the downslide, I think dabo's it's his refusal to adapt.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Well, yeah, that's what I think his stick has gotten old.
- 22:17Speaker 3: Yeah, the bring your own guts crap.
- 22:19Speaker 3: I think that I don't think that's really jiving anymore with the kids.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Right, I think he needs to redirect that into this is Alabama.
- 22:25Speaker 2: We're gonna, we're gonna, you know, we're gonna.
- 22:28Speaker 3: But if I'm Alabama I don't get a coach that I see on the downslide now, now, now I don't get a coach that the only time he's won big is when he had to Sean Watson or Trevor Lawrence.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Right, Right, no.
- 22:40Speaker 3: If you get generational quarterbacks, then dabo can when you.
- 22:45Speaker 2: What a ring a ring, a ring a tie but then you know a title, then it's just, it's crazy.
- 22:53Speaker 2: It's like what does Alabama expect?
- 22:54Speaker 2: He would fit right in.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Though, what are they looking for?
- 22:57Speaker 2: Like, are you looking for a guy that you think's gonna be here another 15 years?
- 23:01Speaker 3: and I would think so if I, if I'm Alabama, a Realistic view for if I'm like, if this exists I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but a realistic Alabama fan, um, I would be.
- 23:14Speaker 3: As I said, it's an oxymoron, but let's, let's go ahead and suspend disbelief right now.
- 23:20Speaker 3: For a second.
- 23:21Speaker 3: I Would be looking for what I think would be a home run.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Hire would be a guy we have for 10 years that wins two rings.
- 23:28Speaker 3: It makes the playoffs four or five times.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that's realistic.
- 23:33Speaker 1: That's yeah, but that's not probably.
- 23:38Speaker 3: One day, the first one if I'm the ad, that's what I'm looking at for a coach.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 23:44Speaker 2: I'm looking at a coach that'll get me two rings in the next 10 years.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I just need 10 years out of you and you got to win a couple rings.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Yep, but at Alabama you're going to have to contend in the years that you don't win it.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Oh yeah, no, no.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Well, especially with the roster they have.
- 23:58Speaker 3: I mean, it's an 11-year-old roster rolling out on the field.
- 24:03Speaker 2: But my question is like a guy like, again, Saint Norvel, like, has he shown the ability at Florida State to be able to go to a school and have a roster every year?
- 24:14Speaker 2: That can be in contention, Because here and again he had a lot, of, lot of there's going to be things that every coach doesn't have.
- 24:23Speaker 1: the next coach that they get Right.
- 24:24Speaker 1: I mean you're going to be nitpicked like beyond because you're replacing the greatest of all time.
- 24:32Speaker 2: So that's what I'm saying and, honestly, to be honest, like the only, the only real juice Norvel is carrying, you know, in terms of recruits and talent going in there is that you know he went undefeated in his fourth year at FSU.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Right, do you want to go?
- 24:46Speaker 1: What if it doesn't work out and they turn on him and he's fired and he's out of a job?
- 24:50Speaker 2: Right, when he could just keep it rolling here.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Yeah, it's little tweaks here.
- 24:54Speaker 2: I think it's going to be a little bit more difficult for the next coach to recruit at Alabama than people think.
- 25:00Speaker 2: I think yeah.
- 25:02Speaker 1: There's a reason you don't think Nick Saban wanted to stay and keep winning like he had been.
- 25:06Speaker 1: He saw that he wasn't going to be able to dominate like he had previously in this environment, especially because that advantage is not there anymore.
- 25:17Speaker 1: With it's more it's going to be, the parity level is going to, especially in the SEC, because everybody's just going to throw everything at it.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Yeah, you're all doing the same thing.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Yeah, here's a really good comparison, dude.
- 25:29Speaker 3: It's when it's like when again with Alabama, when they change the scholarship limits and Bear Bryant could no longer stack all the recruits on his bench.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Right, Right, so you know you can get down more as people could see with the cable they could see everybody at all the schools.
- 25:48Speaker 3: So you had the that's how Miami built their program.
- 25:51Speaker 3: Miami and Florida Is playing anywhere, you know anywhere, so you can get on all the different regional coverage.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Yep, All right.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Well, the AD just tweeted out at Florida State, Michael Alford, some kind of weird stuff atting the president and coach Norvell.
- 26:10Speaker 2: There's been some rumor that he's getting a contract extension.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Well that's.
- 26:15Speaker 1: I mean regardless.
- 26:16Speaker 1: That is what's happening.
- 26:18Speaker 3: He's got to back up the brink, oh yeah, but like yeah, yeah, but that's what I'm saying with the man.
- 26:24Speaker 1: You kind of Jimmy sex man.
- 26:26Speaker 2: I think it's like it's a win-win.
- 26:27Speaker 2: No matter what he wants to do His roller decks of coaches, he can get it raised out of this.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you don't want to go.
- 26:32Speaker 1: I don't want you to go, but we're going to just put floated out there.
- 26:35Speaker 1: I'll get you.
- 26:36Speaker 1: I'll get you more money than you know is Chris?
- 26:38Speaker 2: is crystal ball the sexting guy?
- 26:40Speaker 2: He's got to be right.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Because he's probably yeah, he's with saving man, I mean.
- 26:43Speaker 1: I'm assuming every coach, yeah, but he's a Miami guy.
- 26:45Speaker 3: I bet you he's, I bet he could be a Rosen house.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's true, that's true.
- 26:50Speaker 3: He could be a Rosen house man.
- 26:51Speaker 3: He's a Miami guy.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 26:56Speaker 3: And when he came out of the?
- 26:57Speaker 3: U back in the early mid 90s, that's when Rosen house was first getting going.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Dude, I bet he's a Rosen house guy.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's, that's probably right.
- 27:02Speaker 2: All right, dude.
- 27:03Speaker 2: I'm telling you, man, you're rolling the dice with sexting, because he gets you a job and then in a year or two he'll have everybody's role.
- 27:10Speaker 1: The hot seat created for every damn coach is rolling that dice.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Yep, well, not everyone, man, not everyone.
- 27:17Speaker 2: There's a few out there that.
- 27:21Speaker 3: don't mess with them.
- 27:21Speaker 3: There's a few.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Yeah, if I, if I'm going to roll the dice, I'm going to roll a set of loaded dice at Alabama.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean, you know you're going to have the advantages built in.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Yeah, and if I'm, if I'm an elite level coach, I got to think let me go to the school.
- 27:34Speaker 3: That's got the brand, the machine is rolling, I'm going to have everything at my disposal.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Imagine, imagine if he had four Keon Coleman's running around on his offense.
- 27:45Speaker 2: So what if?
- 27:45Speaker 2: What if they look to the?
- 27:46Speaker 2: What if they look to the big 12, the current big 12, the team that seems to be the next one in the crosshairs in terms of ACC getting getting destroyed?
- 27:57Speaker 2: It'll be the big 12, the guy that seems on the outside looking in.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Are there any coaches in the big 12 that are even?
- 28:06Speaker 3: what yeah, bring in Mike.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Brian, brian Mike.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Mike Gandhi baby.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Oh, my God dude.
- 28:13Speaker 2: You want to talk about oh man, it would be something like you.
- 28:18Speaker 2: It seems like such a natural fit, but I can tell you right now, from having so many many family and and friends in Alabama, like the hatred for Mike Gundy would be off the charts.
- 28:30Speaker 3: God, I love Mike Gundy.
- 28:32Speaker 3: He's my favorite coach in the country.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Dude, I absolutely love that guy.
- 28:36Speaker 2: I think, like when you talk about our coach has to take the football seriously and Mike Gundy being like dude, it's just football.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Like we won a game.
- 28:44Speaker 2: I'm going to go play golf when I'm in Orlando.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Yeah, we lost 45 to three games of shit.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Dude.
- 28:49Speaker 3: What's crazy is, all he does is go nine and three at Oklahoma, yeah.
- 28:54Speaker 2: I'm still going to figure out a way to go nine and three and playing the championship game.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Just to lose to Texas is fine.
- 28:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll sneak an upset, upset or two in during the season and then I'll drop one to Kansas for no reason.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Exactly, hey, we won.
- 29:06Speaker 2: We won, yeah, but you lost.
- 29:09Speaker 2: To like Tennessee Tech, who cares?
- 29:12Speaker 3: We beat Oklahoma.
- 29:13Speaker 3: We beat Oklahoma.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Yeah, what was that tweet that he said?
- 29:18Speaker 2: It's not a tweet, it's not words, it's just a picture of a smoke and chimney, kind of like the Pope.
- 29:24Speaker 1: The Pope, the new Pope, yeah.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Ah, with a spear and a handshake.
- 29:29Speaker 2: So I think something might be getting done, yeah.
- 29:35Speaker 3: Florida State's got to act quick.
- 29:36Speaker 3: I mean, like I don't double your salary, don't leave, yeah.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Yeah, you got to get down on your knee and be like dude.
- 29:44Speaker 2: I'm not letting you leave, bro, grab his legs and don't let him walk to the airport, just whatever you have.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, because I fully believe that if it happened, man, you, really you may not have any other choice than to hire Dion or to take a shot.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Oh, no, oh no Good guy man.
- 29:59Speaker 2: If I got to become a Dion Sanders fan, it's going to kill me.
- 30:03Speaker 1: It will be entertaining.
- 30:05Speaker 3: It's all, that's all it would be before.
- 30:07Speaker 2: I mean, the recruiting would be off the charts in terms of you know the flashy, cool kids, you'd get five stars and you'd get all those busts that come along with that, but the actual substance on the field would be a nightmare.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Well, we had to go, so it's going to be cold in Kansas City, that's all right.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Oh wait, yeah, we got to do NFL picks.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a different shuttle.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Yeah, that wasn't that one we got to get your NFL picks.
- 30:42Speaker 1: The champion of the Latin jug, yeah.
- 30:45Speaker 2: I got it.
- 30:45Speaker 2: I'll be waiting a little bit because I got to.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Can can consult with my?
- 30:49Speaker 2: We're going to get Jim.
- 30:50Speaker 2: We're going to get my ringer, since it's going to be who you got in the playoffs, man and Smith.
- 30:56Speaker 1: the dolphins man.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Before we get there, dolphins did not finish the season outright.
- 31:02Speaker 3: The leader of the division the whole year.
- 31:05Speaker 1: The dolphins, dolphins Going to lose it to the bills at the end.
- 31:09Speaker 3: I called it like the beginning of December, dude, I saw it coming.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Yep Well congratulations and yeah, no, I'm really happy about it.
- 31:17Speaker 3: But no man and dude.
- 31:23Speaker 3: The defense played great against the bills man.
- 31:25Speaker 3: The defense did everything they could as they were dropping like there was a sniper up there shooting them in the in the hamstrings.
- 31:31Speaker 3: The defense played great and did everything they could to win.
- 31:36Speaker 3: To start to lose faith in two of being elite.
- 31:42Speaker 3: He's really good, but I think he's only so good.
- 31:47Speaker 3: I think he might be Jared Goff, because he had.
- 31:52Speaker 3: He had a shot at the end of that bills game To drive it down at home.
- 31:57Speaker 3: He had the ball at like the 40 35, 40, our line, like a minute 40 seconds left.
- 32:03Speaker 3: Here's your moment to a go in the division and he threw a pick on like the fourth play.
- 32:08Speaker 1: He's very he does that and but he, but he's placed so well in all and a lot of games and they're more.
- 32:14Speaker 3: I know that's what's frustrating.
- 32:16Speaker 2: Can I say some as a as a observer, as a neutral observer, as a fan?
- 32:20Speaker 2: Yeah, what if I'm just gonna propose this?
- 32:23Speaker 2: What if it's his just just?
- 32:25Speaker 2: He just not big enough and strong enough to last an entire game efficiently?
- 32:30Speaker 2: Yeah, what if, by the time it comes to crunch time at the end of the game, he just he ain't got it.
- 32:35Speaker 2: You know, he's tiny guy, that body wears, he's already through it, but he doesn't get hit?
- 32:42Speaker 2: Yeah, right.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Well he does and but like that his fear of maybe getting hit, his anticipation might be off.
- 32:48Speaker 1: But I mean, he plays so well in some of the games like yeah, really well, like top of the league.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Well, you know, like he thread some of those throws like Kurt Warner.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Nfl's hard man you know it is it, then it feels very, very hard again as a new, you have a guy who's who's getting it done?
- 33:05Speaker 1: I think it's.
- 33:06Speaker 1: I think you stick with him.
- 33:08Speaker 3: I don't think he.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Doesn't have to be elite.
- 33:12Speaker 2: You just have to.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Now, weapons you have now Miami is, they're not out of it.
- 33:16Speaker 1: I think the weapons they need to all be healthy, especially on the defensive side too, so you can have that defense there for you.
- 33:24Speaker 1: But you're right in the at home.
- 33:26Speaker 2: I've never seen anything like that man.
- 33:28Speaker 1: You need it way else.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Players have been dropping like these last month, right, Andrew after Andrew.
- 33:33Speaker 2: It's insane.
- 33:34Speaker 3: We still only gave up two touchdowns on defense and a punt return to the bills.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Do you give up 21 points in my defense?
- 33:40Speaker 3: Play Well, you're right.
- 33:43Speaker 1: You're right, that was the game that question marks.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Will he?
- 33:46Speaker 1: That was to his moment when you make up.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Well, he'll have another one and it's gonna be Saturday night.
- 33:51Speaker 1: You got to have peacock to watch it.
- 33:54Speaker 1: It's gonna be 13 degrees in Kansas City people screwing Miami again.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Well, I mean, what do?
- 34:01Speaker 1: you?
- 34:02Speaker 1: I mean it's a rematch of the game in Germany, right?
- 34:04Speaker 1: Yeah, which was a, which was a sloppy, you like, oddly played game ended up being a really good game at the end, but yeah, it was a.
- 34:12Speaker 3: It was a good game, but it wasn't what anybody expected, and I see something similar here in this game Because of the weather and the way that the, the Chief's offense is not like Patrick Mahomes is.
- 34:26Speaker 3: They've not looked elite.
- 34:27Speaker 3: Right, I'm a stretch.
- 34:30Speaker 2: They don't seem like they have an offense.
- 34:31Speaker 2: That's built for their own climate.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Like we'll see, they have no wide receivers.
- 34:36Speaker 1: That Will Miami's defense no power on there and stop them in a home play without the Without Bradley Chubb, without Jerome Baker and without being a ginkgo and is vanilla.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Ice is out.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 34:55Speaker 3: I think everybody's out man.
- 34:56Speaker 3: I don't even think Xavier and Howard's gonna be back.
- 34:58Speaker 1: I was just about to ask.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I haven't heard any.
- 35:02Speaker 3: I haven't heard any update period on Xavier and Howard All right, that's great news.
- 35:06Speaker 1: You ready to pick?
- 35:07Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, let's do it.
- 35:11Speaker 1: All right, let's do.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Let's start it with that.
- 35:13Speaker 1: The game before that, let's get your pick on, your take on the Browns and Texans.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Man, you know I love my, I love me some Texans and that went on.
- 35:26Speaker 3: The road against Indy was a great game.
- 35:28Speaker 3: Last weekend CJ Stroud had his moment.
- 35:32Speaker 3: That to a couldn't have.
- 35:33Speaker 3: But I've been riding the Browns with Joe flacco and I'm gonna keep riding with the Brownies.
- 35:39Speaker 3: Dude, that defense is out of control and Joe flacco looks like Joe flacco in the Super Bowl run for the Ravens like a decade ago.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Okay, all right, going with the Browns.
- 35:52Speaker 1: We'll have more picks coming at you later.
- 35:55Speaker 1: We're gonna get.
- 35:56Speaker 1: We're gonna see if we can beat Jimmy Jr at the playoffs.
- 35:59Speaker 2: He was good.
- 36:00Speaker 2: So yeah, he's in school right now right, let's, let's go to Dolphins chiefs.
- 36:12Speaker 3: All right, so we already.
- 36:13Speaker 3: We already got a little bit of a breakdown on that and and also a waddle, and most are both listed as questionable.
- 36:21Speaker 3: Still On the road in Kansas City, freezing cold weather.
- 36:26Speaker 3: Hn goes for 254 Twin baby totally redeem themselves, that would be.
- 36:36Speaker 1: And then they, you guys, got some sexy running backs.
- 36:39Speaker 2: I'm gonna be honest with you.
- 36:42Speaker 3: I know I ain't man I do.
- 36:43Speaker 3: This game is gonna be determined by the run game.
- 36:45Speaker 3: Nobody's gonna throw the ball.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll find out All right, I mean routes, baby, let's go to Sunday.
- 36:56Speaker 1: The bills are hosting the Steelers.
- 37:03Speaker 3: We got this it's supposed to be like a blizzard in that game.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Wow.
- 37:11Speaker 3: And I Cannot pick Mason Rudolph and the Steelers minus TJ Watt in a blizzard in Buffalo against Josh Allen Dude, I think Josh Allen puts on his Superman cape in this game and single-handedly wins.
- 37:25Speaker 1: Yep, no, tj Watts big.
- 37:28Speaker 1: All right, let's go to a classic 90s NFC matchup.
- 37:36Speaker 1: The Packers are going to Dallas Play the Cowboys.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Cowboys Would be hilarious if they chose to last this game.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Oh my god, you can get fired if after.
- 37:50Speaker 1: What a good season if you lose this game.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Yeah, you see, you see it happening.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Who you got.
- 37:59Speaker 3: All right for shits and giggles.
- 38:00Speaker 3: Here's my scenario Green Bay wins, mccarthy gets fired, save into the Cowboys.
- 38:09Speaker 3: Go, pack go.
- 38:11Speaker 3: I got the Packers in the upset go back, oh wow.
- 38:15Speaker 3: All right, it's the Cowboys man.
- 38:19Speaker 3: If the Dolphins are gonna dolphin at the end of the season, the Cowboys have to Cowboy.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true.
- 38:23Speaker 1: All right, let's go to Detroit, as this is gonna be a fun game.
- 38:29Speaker 1: The Rams are gonna be on the road playing the Lions and Campbell we got yeah, I'm actually really excited for this game.
- 38:41Speaker 3: You know I've been riding the Rams for about six weeks now in the picks.
- 38:44Speaker 3: I'm always been a Stafford fan, but not as big of a Stafford fan as I am a fan of man Campbell.
- 38:53Speaker 3: Lines at home get their first playoff win in like three decades.
- 38:58Speaker 1: All right, all right, then we have another Monday night or the last one.
- 39:03Speaker 1: The Eagles we go into play the Bucks, who won the NFC South, and not any.
- 39:09Speaker 1: But the Eagles haven't been playing good at all, and I'm AJ Brown's out, so who you got in this?
- 39:21Speaker 3: Let Baker bake.
- 39:22Speaker 3: I got the bucks in the upset at home taking down the Eagles.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Dude, the Eagles are falling apart.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:29Speaker 3: I mean I keep saying, I mean I said like for the past month, almost in the picks All right, this is the game.
- 39:35Speaker 3: The Eagles get it together and then they lose to some crap team.
- 39:38Speaker 3: And they do it over and over and over again.
- 39:40Speaker 3: I don't see how they can turn the tide on this dude.
- 39:42Speaker 1: These guys are just falling off a cliff, yeah and AJ Brown's out the way J Brown wait, you told me he was out for the year.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I think you got hurt in the last game, oh yeah.
- 39:52Speaker 3: Yeah, all I heard was, like all I had heard about that was it was a really bad injury, so I was just assuming he was out.
- 39:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I think he's out.
- 39:59Speaker 2: I think he's definitely out.
- 40:00Speaker 2: That's rough man.
- 40:07Speaker 3: Yeah, so I got this playoff being a lot of upsets.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, he's an FL dude.
- 40:15Speaker 3: None of these higher seeds are all that impressive to me right now right.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Well, I do think that the Browns defense is probably the the most impressive of anything you got the browns.
- 40:29Speaker 3: That's.
- 40:29Speaker 3: It's the most elite unit in football.
- 40:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:34Speaker 2: Bill's Packers Packers and bucks Packers taking out the old coach.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Wow, what if Bella check goes to the Calvary?

- 41:13Speaker 2: It's going to be Dabby.
- 41:16Speaker 1: It's not going to be the Washington.
- 41:17Speaker 2: I think he just hey, I don't think so, man.
- 41:20Speaker 1: I mean everybody's just using it to get paid more.

- 41:45Speaker 3: What if Alabama has to settle for, like your fifth choice, tommy Reese?
- 41:48Speaker 2: Tommy Reese a first time coach or a coordinator.
- 41:53Speaker 3: I'll be here I think Saban, I think Saban there's no way he saw that report.

- 42:09Speaker 2: Right.
- 42:09Speaker 1: He's like hey, I'll put it on.
- 42:10Speaker 1: That sounds like hey, if you hire Tommy.

- 42:15Speaker 1: got it, I'll put an office in the stadium.

- 42:30Speaker 1: It was man.
- 42:31Speaker 1: It still raises a lot of the same questions in the game.
- 42:34Speaker 2: And hey, until they hire somebody, nothing's ever really off the table.
- 42:37Speaker 2: That's true, that's true.
- 42:38Speaker 1: And we got Hoops coming around man Miami with a shocker losing at home to Louisville.

- 42:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it could be the curse of Matthew Cleveland.
- 42:51Speaker 2: Could be.
- 42:52Speaker 1: I mean they're auditioned.
- 42:53Speaker 1: By subtraction.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Florida State looks to be they just matched their win total last year with nine wins.
- 42:59Speaker 2: I will say that's the only Miami game I've watched.
- 43:02Speaker 2: But that's basketball, it happens this season, but it sure looked like his teammates don't like him.
- 43:06Speaker 2: Same thing in that issue.
- 43:07Speaker 2: But yeah, acc, they're still the class of the ACC.
