- 0:04Speaker 1: Alright, alright yo, And if you live from Philly, it's
- 0:09Speaker 1: the Folly and Tony Fosco show. Yoe Yo Yo, as
- 0:12Speaker 1: always Polly Foolsco here with Tony Fusco. You know, Tony,
- 0:16Speaker 1: we made headlines last week because we came out. We
- 0:18Speaker 1: had the balls to say that Dwight Howard won NBA
- 0:22Speaker 1: free agency by dumping the Lakers for a better team
- 0:26Speaker 1: in the sixes. And their people didn't like it. Our
- 0:28Speaker 1: guest today, right, our guests didn't like it. No, you know,
- 0:31Speaker 1: he thinks he knows better than us. But we're gonna
- 0:34Speaker 1: take it to him like we always do. PAULI. Yeah,
- 0:37Speaker 1: we're having on the show NBA Vet Jim Jackson. And
- 0:40Speaker 1: by the way, the interesting fact about Mr Jackson, you
- 0:42Speaker 1: know he holds the record for most teams played for
- 0:45Speaker 1: in the NBA. This is true. He was passed around
- 0:48Speaker 1: like a joint. I mean, this guy has got to
- 0:51Speaker 1: be terrible for his self esteem. We're gonna get into
- 0:53Speaker 1: that with him. By the way, Tony, talking about self esteem,
- 0:55Speaker 1: OZ is riding high because have you seen our ratings lately?
- 0:59Speaker 1: Have you checked out our No, Well, let me tell
- 1:02Speaker 1: you something and well I'm gonna give you a little
- 1:04Speaker 1: inside baseball here. People. You know, people they want to know, Hey,
- 1:06Speaker 1: why is your show only twenty minutes? We want it
- 1:08Speaker 1: to be you know, longer. We like it so much. Well,
- 1:11Speaker 1: what people don't know, they don't know how this business works.
- 1:13Speaker 1: You know, it's all about ratings people, and uh. In
- 1:16Speaker 1: the radio business, they have a term. It's called a
- 1:19Speaker 1: q H stands for average quarter hour. You know what
- 1:23Speaker 1: that basically means is all the ratings that matter are
- 1:26Speaker 1: in that fifteen minute period. So when you're doing a
- 1:30Speaker 1: three hour show and your space in your audience out,
- 1:33Speaker 1: you're diluting your a q H. Us what we do,
- 1:37Speaker 1: we do a shorter show, but compressing our h into
- 1:41Speaker 1: one space. So basically that's why our ratings are so
- 1:44Speaker 1: off the charts. People there you go, yeah, you know,
- 1:47Speaker 1: it's kind of like when you put a lot of
- 1:48Speaker 1: meat in the sandwich, you have to squish the sandwich
- 1:52Speaker 1: down so you can eat it. There, you go, totally
- 1:55Speaker 1: great analogy. Anyway, we're gonna have Jim Jackson on the show.
- 1:58Speaker 1: But before we get to that, you know, we're basically
- 2:01Speaker 1: halfway through the NFL season here. I mean, who knows
- 2:03Speaker 1: if it's even halfway anymore, I've lost. Nobody knows where
- 2:08Speaker 1: we are. But you know, Tony and I, we always
- 2:11Speaker 1: like to keep it fresh on this show, keep coming
- 2:13Speaker 1: up with new inventive segments. So we put our heads
- 2:15Speaker 1: together like we always do, and we said, hey, what
- 2:18Speaker 1: can we do that nobody else is doing right now
- 2:20Speaker 1: in any other show. So we came up with the
- 2:23Speaker 1: segment get ready for this people, mid Season NFL Awards,
- 2:28Speaker 1: NFL Mid Season Awards, Best Team. All right, you know,
- 2:34Speaker 1: people out there, you're gonna call us homers and whatnot,
- 2:36Speaker 1: but this is our objective decision. It's the Eagles, and
- 2:40Speaker 1: we'll tell you why. You know, first of all, you
- 2:42Speaker 1: know when we're recording this on Monday, aren't we, Tony,
- 2:44Speaker 1: So you know the game's about the start. But you
- 2:46Speaker 1: know we can go ahead and lock in the The
- 2:48Speaker 1: Eagles are gonna beat the Seahawks and done, take back
- 2:50Speaker 1: first place. Done deal. But you know, you look at
- 2:53Speaker 1: their record. It's not about the numbers, people, It's about
- 2:55Speaker 1: overcoming adversity. You know, That's what the measure of people, right, Tony? Yeah,
- 3:01Speaker 1: I mean, look at the two thousand and seven New
- 3:03Speaker 1: England Patriots. Everyone thought, oh, they're gonna win it all.
- 3:06Speaker 1: They was sixteen and oh, but they never encountered adversity.
- 3:10Speaker 1: That's why when they got to the Super Bowl, they
- 3:12Speaker 1: lost to the shittiest quarterback in NFL history, Eli Manning.
- 3:17Speaker 1: And that's why the Eagles other favorites right now, they've
- 3:20Speaker 1: taken shots, they've been knocked down, and now they know
- 3:24Speaker 1: what it's like to get back up. Don't sleep on
- 3:27Speaker 1: the Eagles, Paulie. Biggest mistake alright, easy decision, hit, Tony,
- 3:33Speaker 1: No real competition in the category. Biggest mistake has to
- 3:36Speaker 1: be the Bucks signing Tom Brady. You know the question.
- 3:38Speaker 1: They had a perfectly good quarterback in Jamis Winston, and
- 3:41Speaker 1: they just throw them away like garbage. You know, Tom
- 3:44Speaker 1: Brady just looked horrible against Patrick Mahomes. And you know,
- 3:47Speaker 1: I looked up the stat, Tony. I looked up the stat.
- 3:50Speaker 1: You know that Tom Brady had three touchdowns and two
- 3:52Speaker 1: picks in that game. You know what other quartaback had
- 3:55Speaker 1: three touchdowns and two picks on Sunday. Oh, Mitch Troubisky
- 4:00Speaker 1: makes sense. I mean, they you have it. Tom Brady
- 4:02Speaker 1: and Mitch Chrubisky are essentially the same quarterback. Pauli they're
- 4:06Speaker 1: the same person. Well, when you look at the stats,
- 4:08Speaker 1: that's the conclusion you gotta make, right and also think
- 4:11Speaker 1: about this, looking at it, Rubinsky is actually better. Look
- 4:15Speaker 1: at the weapons that Tom Brady has, like Mike Evans,
- 4:20Speaker 1: Antonio Brown, Rob Gronkowski. Rubinsky doesn't have any of those,
- 4:25Speaker 1: and he's still putting up the same numbers. So technically
- 4:28Speaker 1: Rubisky's ahead of Tom Brady. Good analysis, that Tony good analysis.
- 4:35Speaker 1: And you know that's a good segue to decision. You
- 4:40Speaker 1: know you're you're probably thinking, Hey, you already just did
- 4:42Speaker 1: a category called the biggest mistake. Why you're doing one
- 4:44Speaker 1: not dumbest decision? Well, we had to make room for
- 4:47Speaker 1: this one because it's so dumb. The Bears going with
- 4:50Speaker 1: Mitch Drobiski over Nick Foles huge mistake. Foles was listed
- 4:54Speaker 1: as doubtful for that game Sunday. When is Nick Foles
- 4:57Speaker 1: ever been doubtful? Exactly? When Nick falls is doubtful, that's
- 5:01Speaker 1: when he's a sure thing. And so what if he
- 5:04Speaker 1: has a hip injury. You know, my aunt Marie's boyfriend Nunzio,
- 5:08Speaker 1: he also has a bad hip, and that doesn't stop him.
- 5:12Speaker 1: He goes to the store, he climbs up the ladder,
- 5:15Speaker 1: and you know when I'm over there, I can hear
- 5:17Speaker 1: him in the bedroom. You know, if Nunzio can work
- 5:21Speaker 1: with a bad hip, believe me, Nick falls is fine.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Since when do you need a hip to throw a football?
- 5:27Speaker 1: It's all up a body strength. You know, I could
- 5:29Speaker 1: throw a ball sixty yards standard still, you've seen it,
- 5:31Speaker 1: thot me. It's unbelievable, easy seventy yards. Remember when we
- 5:36Speaker 1: were kids, you know, used to throw that hutch football
- 5:38Speaker 1: like a hundred and ten yards. Yeah. Impact Player of
- 5:43Speaker 1: the year don't even runaway winner in this category, no question.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Impact Player of the Year has to be Covid. We've
- 5:51Speaker 1: never seen anybody, any person anything. In fact, the NFL,
- 5:55Speaker 1: like COVID has, this virus is like the Bears of viruses.
- 6:00Speaker 1: You know, it's just it's just just changing the league.
- 6:02Speaker 1: You know, COVID is having the best season of any player,
- 6:05Speaker 1: maybe since the season when Peyton Manning through hundred yards
- 6:12Speaker 1: and fifty six touchdowns. You know, and you know COVID
- 6:17Speaker 1: is also at the same time the most feared player
- 6:19Speaker 1: maybe since Lawrence Taylor. You know, Lawrence Taylor used to
- 6:22Speaker 1: scare players. They used to just be like I'm going
- 6:24Speaker 1: out of the game, but not on this type of level.
- 6:27Speaker 1: You know, You've got dozens of players that said, Okay,
- 6:30Speaker 1: I don't know, I'm gonna sit this one out. You know,
- 6:33Speaker 1: I don't know if we'll ever see a season like
- 6:34Speaker 1: this from any other pandemic ever. Again, No, and you
- 6:38Speaker 1: know we've got to start thinking, do you vote COVID
- 6:40Speaker 1: into the Hall of Fame, you know, because if you're
- 6:43Speaker 1: putting people impact players like ray Lewis in there, Peyton Manning,
- 6:47Speaker 1: you gotta make room for COVID. Shittiest player we've ever seen?
- 6:52Speaker 1: All right, don't you know a lot of competition in
- 6:54Speaker 1: this category. So you know we're gonna give you the
- 6:56Speaker 1: nominees and then we're gonna reveal the winner. The nominees
- 6:58Speaker 1: the shittiest player we've ever seen, Mitch True Bisky, terrible,
- 7:03Speaker 1: Gotta put him on there, Daniel Jones sucks Court McCoy awful,
- 7:08Speaker 1: Bend New che Cowboys quarterback for one week, Dogship, Andy Dalton,
- 7:12Speaker 1: Cowboys quarterback again, they're atrocious, And of course Tom Brady. Alright,
- 7:17Speaker 1: let's see who wins the award. Drumroll, please, the Award
- 7:22Speaker 1: for the Shittiest player we've ever seen. We'll look at
- 7:25Speaker 1: this Tony. For the twentieth year in a row, it
- 7:28Speaker 1: goes to Tom Brady. Yeah, well deserved, Mr Brady, you suck.
- 7:37Speaker 1: We gotta say this year he is. He probably deserves
- 7:39Speaker 1: it more than ever because you know he's being exposed.
- 7:42Speaker 1: You know, we were saying before the show. He reminds
- 7:44Speaker 1: us of you know, Aunt Becky from Full House. You
- 7:47Speaker 1: know her daughter, what's the daughter's name, Tony dje DJ.
- 7:51Speaker 1: You know, she faked her resume for college and then
- 7:53Speaker 1: you know someone was booking at it and they're like,
- 7:55Speaker 1: wait they that Yeah, you're the head. Your photo shopped
- 7:57Speaker 1: on you is twice as big as your body. Oh
- 8:00Speaker 1: you can't wrote, and then you know it all fell
- 8:02Speaker 1: upon well, you know that's Tom Brady, right, don'ty. He
- 8:04Speaker 1: totally fudged his resume. We've been saying it for twenty
- 8:08Speaker 1: years ever since w p q Z. You know, I
- 8:11Speaker 1: won six Super Bowls. Look at my resume, so you
- 8:15Speaker 1: didn't he did not That was Bill Belichick super Bowls.
- 8:19Speaker 1: As soon as he has the job on his own,
- 8:21Speaker 1: what does he do? He fails? He ships the bed,
- 8:25Speaker 1: becomes Mitch true Biscuit. So there you go. Congratulations to
- 8:29Speaker 1: all our award winners. There's our mid season awards. That
- 8:34Speaker 1: was pretty good, PAULI alright, anyway, we gotta keep it
- 8:36Speaker 1: moving here, you know, keep that strong a q H.
- 8:39Speaker 1: And anyway, I guess he's getting on the line here,
- 8:41Speaker 1: so let's bring him on the Fusco Satellite Network. Satellite alright,
- 8:48Speaker 1: where bringing this guy on? Because he had a problem
- 8:50Speaker 1: with one of our takes last week. But you know
- 8:52Speaker 1: this guy, you should know he's in the kind of
- 8:54Speaker 1: ratified air in the NBA fourteen seasons, played for twelve
- 8:58Speaker 1: different teams, six Is Lakers, war Is to name a
- 9:01Speaker 1: few away. Let's get him in here. Jim Jackson, welcome
- 9:03Speaker 1: to the show. But that's how you want to introduce me. Yeah, yeah,
- 9:07Speaker 1: you know you're just say, you know, for picking a
- 9:11Speaker 1: draft behind Shaquille, but you had to other stuff in
- 9:16Speaker 1: this so we're starting off on the bad. Well, you know,
- 9:18Speaker 1: I think I figured, hey, you're a record holder. You know,
- 9:20Speaker 1: most people are proud of that. I guess you're not.
- 9:22Speaker 1: You know, you're trying to count the teams you were on,
- 9:25Speaker 1: and I needed a calculator. I got to admit checks cash. Well, yeah,
- 9:29Speaker 1: you know, hey, you got paid and that's good. Good
- 9:31Speaker 1: for you. I'm saying this is good. You know, hey,
- 9:33Speaker 1: you got around, you got your experience, you know, talking
- 9:36Speaker 1: about that, you know, based how much you got around,
- 9:38Speaker 1: you know, based on that, you consider yourself. You know,
- 9:41Speaker 1: you with so many teams, were you like the Taylor
- 9:43Speaker 1: Swift of the NBA. Would you say, meaning, I don't
- 9:47Speaker 1: you know? You got around? Yeah, you had a lot
- 9:49Speaker 1: of boy well yeah you're successful and you were with
- 9:52Speaker 1: a bunch of high profile people. So yes on that aspect.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You know, embody all of those traits that she has.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Mine is maybe the bank account that she has. But now,
- 10:03Speaker 1: the beautiful thing about living in fourteen different or twelve
- 10:05Speaker 1: different cities, I know where I don't want to live.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna guess. I'm gonna guess that it's Cleveland. If
- 10:11Speaker 1: there's one on there, I gotta go. I'm from Ohio,
- 10:14Speaker 1: but I would choose not to live in Cleveland. Yes,
- 10:16Speaker 1: there you go. See, I got to the point that's
- 10:18Speaker 1: called journalism. That all right, Now, look I want you
- 10:21Speaker 1: let me ask you a follow up here. What is
- 10:23Speaker 1: the reason Let's be honest with ourselves here, what's the
- 10:25Speaker 1: reason you got traded around so much. You know, while
- 10:27Speaker 1: you're hard to get along with. You got bad breath.
- 10:30Speaker 1: What's your story? No, not the bad breath. Now, Now
- 10:33Speaker 1: keep in mind at times it wasn't just traded. I
- 10:35Speaker 1: was a free agent four or five times. You know,
- 10:38Speaker 1: sometimes it's the stuff you can't control. You can always
- 10:40Speaker 1: do your job, all right, but sometimes maybe like when
- 10:43Speaker 1: I was in Miami, I played well, started, we won
- 10:46Speaker 1: some games. We didn't make the playoffs, but that that
- 10:49Speaker 1: year they drafted Dwyane Wade and Karen Butler. So Pat
- 10:54Speaker 1: Roddy was like, listen, Jimmy, we don't need free agent.
- 10:56Speaker 1: You deserve to go somewhere and start. I love for
- 10:59Speaker 1: you to come back here. You got a spot if
- 11:01Speaker 1: you want, but we have to see if these young
- 11:04Speaker 1: guys can play. But again, you can come back. So
- 11:07Speaker 1: he left it up to me to make a decision
- 11:10Speaker 1: what I wanted to do in regards of being the
- 11:12Speaker 1: mind heat. But I respected that he called me and
- 11:14Speaker 1: gave me that option. Yeah, but you left, and then
- 11:17Speaker 1: they won a championship after, so you know they wanted,
- 11:19Speaker 1: but they wanted a couple of years later, it wasn't
- 11:22Speaker 1: the same difference. A four years the same thing. So
- 11:25Speaker 1: what are you saying that you tanked? You tanked and
- 11:27Speaker 1: therefore they got these draft picks. Is that what you're Yeah, exactly,
- 11:31Speaker 1: that's what I did. I made sure that the same
- 11:33Speaker 1: way and Karan Butler to set the stage for them
- 11:36Speaker 1: to win their first time. They're welcome. Well, that's very
- 11:39Speaker 1: selfless of me to think about the future of the
- 11:43Speaker 1: Miami Heat. You like that? Right there? You go? Now,
- 11:46Speaker 1: you know, I want to ask you a question about that,
- 11:48Speaker 1: because you know the Sixes went to the finals after
- 11:51Speaker 1: you left. Would you say your career went downhill after
- 11:54Speaker 1: you left Philly? No? You know why, I've never made it.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I didn't make the playoffs until I left Fellow nine
- 12:03Speaker 1: lockout year. I made it Reportland. So from that point
- 12:06Speaker 1: on in Portland, I made it. You know, Sacramento, we
- 12:10Speaker 1: made it to the Western Conference semifinals, Phoenix. What are
- 12:13Speaker 1: you saying that You're saying that leaving the Sixes helped
- 12:16Speaker 1: your career, shame up. What I'm saying is leaving the
- 12:20Speaker 1: Sixers enabled me to get to the playoffs in a
- 12:24Speaker 1: different spot. That's not saying now, I didn't have a choice,
- 12:27Speaker 1: but the lead of Sixers, they traded me, so I
- 12:30Speaker 1: didn't have a choice. Must have done something wrong. Larry
- 12:32Speaker 1: Brown wanted a certain kind of team around AI, which
- 12:35Speaker 1: I got, and he wanted players that kind of fit
- 12:37Speaker 1: that mold, so I guess I wasn't one of them.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Do you have a thing look back on a guy
- 12:42Speaker 1: like Larry Brown and be like, you know, fuck you,
- 12:44Speaker 1: you you ruined my career, or you know I had
- 12:47Speaker 1: a good thing. The only thing, the only thing. I
- 12:49Speaker 1: always say this man. You know, you seem like you're
- 12:51Speaker 1: an honest guy. You're honest guy. You like it is.
- 12:54Speaker 1: You gotta ask what I'm Philly. It could have been
- 12:57Speaker 1: a rhetorical question. I don't know. You know, I told
- 13:00Speaker 1: you I'm a journalist. I tell it like it is.
- 13:03Speaker 1: The issue was I gave you two prime examples of
- 13:06Speaker 1: coaches that kind of came to me and were truthful
- 13:09Speaker 1: about something. Larry Brown did the opposite. You know, he
- 13:13Speaker 1: was like, Jimmy, I want to get you to a
- 13:15Speaker 1: playoff team. You know, I got connections with San Antonio.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Golden State is calling, but we're not interested. It's not you.
- 13:21Speaker 1: It's a shoot around before a game. Then later that
- 13:25Speaker 1: evening I get a call from the general manager. I
- 13:28Speaker 1: think it was Billy Knight at the time, and it
- 13:30Speaker 1: was like, don't come in with making a trade. So
- 13:32Speaker 1: in my mind, I'm thinking I'm going to a playoff
- 13:34Speaker 1: team based on what Larry Brown told me. Comes to
- 13:37Speaker 1: mind out I get traded to Golden State for Joe Smith,
- 13:42Speaker 1: who me and Clarence Weatherspoon gold I'm like, well, he
- 13:44Speaker 1: just told me that they were interested in dinning with
- 13:47Speaker 1: Golden State and too he wanted to get me to
- 13:49Speaker 1: a playoff team. Why did he even tell me that,
- 13:52Speaker 1: you know when it when it wasn't true, And that's
- 13:55Speaker 1: my that was That was my problem with Larry Brown
- 13:57Speaker 1: is this, if this, if this is what you're gonna do,
- 14:00Speaker 1: if you're gonna make the trade, either don't tell me
- 14:02Speaker 1: or just tell me the truth. Like, look, just we
- 14:04Speaker 1: got the opportunity to I'm a veteran and league at
- 14:06Speaker 1: that time. But the way you say, you know, because
- 14:08Speaker 1: I'm losing a little respect for Mr Brown, here are
- 14:11Speaker 1: you saying, you know, you want to kick his asses?
- 14:13Speaker 1: That's what's going on in you know, water under the bridge.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Bro at the time was set, yeah, but as time
- 14:18Speaker 1: moved on, I'm like, you know what it is what
- 14:20Speaker 1: it is. You know, I saw him at the wah
- 14:22Speaker 1: wah uh two weeks ago. I'm gonna kick his fucking
- 14:25Speaker 1: ask if I see him there again. You can do that.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Let me ask you a question, you know, let's be honest.
- 14:31Speaker 1: You know you're playing for all these different teams, moving
- 14:34Speaker 1: around so much, you ever get confused, you know, mid game,
- 14:37Speaker 1: like you know, you're like, wait, I'm on the Warriors.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Why did I just pass the ball? When you go
- 14:43Speaker 1: to your old arena and used to walking in the
- 14:45Speaker 1: home locker room, but you go to the visitors locker room,
- 14:48Speaker 1: that's when it's different. And you did that. You walk
- 14:51Speaker 1: in and be like, oh, check in, But you know
- 14:54Speaker 1: started down that hallways like, no, I go to the
- 14:56Speaker 1: visitors locker room. You ever you ever get inside the huddle,
- 14:59Speaker 1: you know, and see if anyone noticed, you know, try
- 15:01Speaker 1: and stop a few players. I couldn't do that because
- 15:03Speaker 1: I had a different uniform and they knew the face
- 15:05Speaker 1: with you. Good point. I've never tried, you know, I've
- 15:07Speaker 1: never tried that to get into hull. Yes see, you
- 15:10Speaker 1: learn a lot on the show. Though. Now you were
- 15:12Speaker 1: in the league fourteen seasons, as we've established, played against
- 15:15Speaker 1: a bunch of people. Who's the biggest jerk? Give us
- 15:18Speaker 1: the dirt. I've been fortunate. I never played with like
- 15:20Speaker 1: a shirt like on my squad. I've been fortunate. Some guys.
- 15:25Speaker 1: You may have different ideas, but not like a flat
- 15:28Speaker 1: out like the biggest jerk you're gonna kill hyeah. I
- 15:34Speaker 1: meant to think of an answer, bro on that. So
- 15:37Speaker 1: what you're saying, it's Lebron. No, that's what you said.
- 15:40Speaker 1: I'll give you a multiple choice. A Lebron be Carmelo Anthony.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Don't see Carmelo Anthony, you know. So what you're saying
- 15:48Speaker 1: is it's Kobe. Heay with Kobe now he he was
- 15:52Speaker 1: irritating from this perspective, like Michael, so hard to guard.
- 15:56Speaker 1: The only thing that irritated me about both of them
- 15:58Speaker 1: was they want to cry because they wanted every call
- 16:02Speaker 1: from the officials. I'm like, bro, dog like man, stop
- 16:06Speaker 1: asking for all the calls. You go get him anyway?
- 16:09Speaker 1: Whoa you said that to them? Why what they say
- 16:12Speaker 1: to you like, shut up, go away? You know, go
- 16:14Speaker 1: trade to another team? Took offense to that? Oh I
- 16:17Speaker 1: don't know they probably did. That wasn't gonna stop me
- 16:19Speaker 1: from talking you know, I like you. I like you,
- 16:21Speaker 1: and you know this is why we gotta get a point.
- 16:24Speaker 1: You know why we brought you on here because you
- 16:26Speaker 1: know you've been talking. You know you you apparently don't
- 16:29Speaker 1: like what we said when we said Dwight Howard won
- 16:31Speaker 1: NBA free agency by leaving the Lakers for the Sixes,
- 16:34Speaker 1: you know, and thus having a better shot at a championship. Now,
- 16:37Speaker 1: what's your beef? He made a small move if he
- 16:40Speaker 1: thought the Lakers didn't want to sign him back. No, no,
- 16:42Speaker 1: I think he was piste off and he wanted to
- 16:45Speaker 1: you know, like, Okay, the Lakers, you don't want to
- 16:47Speaker 1: do this, I'll go over here to a superior franchise. Yeah,
- 16:50Speaker 1: that takes balls, you see. You know, Lebron needs everything
- 16:53Speaker 1: set up. He needs rich ball to put all his
- 16:55Speaker 1: players on his team, needs to have the valet rollout
- 16:58Speaker 1: and press his shirts. Howard, he says, if you didn't
- 17:01Speaker 1: have that power, you wouldn't know it either. I do
- 17:05Speaker 1: have that power, but it's in the sports talk business,
- 17:07Speaker 1: not you know, I don't run. What I'm saying is,
- 17:10Speaker 1: if Lebron has so much power, how come he can't
- 17:12Speaker 1: hold on to a legendary player like Dwight Howard. They
- 17:15Speaker 1: had a real good free agency. What do you mean, No,
- 17:18Speaker 1: they lost free agent. You know, as someone who has
- 17:20Speaker 1: been played for twelve billion teams, you should know probably
- 17:23Speaker 1: know how free agency works. Dwight was the biggest name.
- 17:26Speaker 1: It's about who's the biggest name, and the Sixes landed
- 17:29Speaker 1: him Dwight Howard. Look him up. You know what your
- 17:32Speaker 1: problem is? You know what your problem is. I get
- 17:35Speaker 1: what I see what's going on here? You think because
- 17:37Speaker 1: you've been on you know, twelve billion teams, that you
- 17:39Speaker 1: know more about basketball than Wade though, Is that what
- 17:42Speaker 1: you're saying? Yeah, I would tell you that. Oh well,
- 17:46Speaker 1: let me tell you something about common sense. We played
- 17:49Speaker 1: in the Spruce Street rec League. Never got traded one.
- 17:53Speaker 1: But guess what, Jim Jackson, Guess what I'm about to
- 17:56Speaker 1: trade you to the trash bin. Because you're sure he is?
- 18:11Speaker 1: He up the line. Unbelievable, Hang up that phone. I mean,
- 18:14Speaker 1: come on, he's the worst Jackson out of all the
- 18:17Speaker 1: Jackson say. I would have rather had you know Tito
- 18:20Speaker 1: Jackson on the show YEA, or Action Jackson, or even
- 18:24Speaker 1: you know Jackson Brown. Dr My eyes more like Dr
- 18:27Speaker 1: My ears. Dr My balls. Well, you know, we got
- 18:30Speaker 1: to calm down, calm down, you know, because as always
- 18:33Speaker 1: we got business to do it, Tony, and today we
- 18:36Speaker 1: got a great business to promote, don't we. You know,
- 18:39Speaker 1: people pizza delivery. It's overrated with COVID and everything. We're
- 18:44Speaker 1: all spending enough time in the house. And besides, why
- 18:47Speaker 1: you want to eat a pizza that's been in a
- 18:48Speaker 1: car for forty fifty minutes. No, you got to go
- 18:51Speaker 1: to the source for fresh, real, authentic pizza. And he
- 18:55Speaker 1: got to go to a place that you could enjoy
- 18:58Speaker 1: the environment outside home. And that's why we're doing an
- 19:02Speaker 1: ad today for Sabarro. Look, there's nowhere better to eat
- 19:08Speaker 1: right now than a more food courts. Support your local business.
- 19:12Speaker 1: You're amongst the people. You get to have some food
- 19:15Speaker 1: before you go back home into a cave. Look, people's Sabarro.
- 19:19Speaker 1: It's been around for hundreds of years, a great tradition,
- 19:23Speaker 1: Italian tradition of good Italian food, good pizza. And Tony,
- 19:28Speaker 1: you had a great experience at the local Sabaro, didn't you. Yeah,
- 19:33Speaker 1: So I took this girl I'm kind of going with.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Her name's Abolonia, and we went there the other night
- 19:40Speaker 1: and she was really turned out, you know. I sprung
- 19:44Speaker 1: for two slices and she knew she was special. We
- 19:49Speaker 1: sat down by the fountains and it was just like
- 19:52Speaker 1: being in the roma. We threw some pennies in then
- 19:57Speaker 1: I said, hey, there's a quarter, go pick it up.
- 20:01Speaker 1: It's your lucky day. And we didn't just have pizza. No,
- 20:05Speaker 1: we had baked z d cooked by fluorescent lamp Italian
- 20:11Speaker 1: salad with olives, and not a super cold salad either.
- 20:16Speaker 1: These salads are perfect room temperature. And then I told
- 20:21Speaker 1: that Bologna, you can have any soda of your choosing
- 20:25Speaker 1: Mountain Dew, Orangeene Fonda and let's just say I'll be
- 20:32Speaker 1: seeing her again very So what a romantic evening. It
- 20:37Speaker 1: sounds like you had, Tony. So there you go. People,
- 20:40Speaker 1: you know, support your local food court. And if you
- 20:43Speaker 1: can't get out to the food court, they got two
- 20:45Speaker 1: sabarrows at the airport Terminal E and terminal left, so
- 20:48Speaker 1: you know, head over there and hey, then you're really
- 20:51Speaker 1: you're one step away from you know Rome. Hey, you're
- 20:53Speaker 1: right down the terminal. So there you go. Great at
- 20:56Speaker 1: right there, Tony, And yeah, I felt pretty good. I'm
- 20:59Speaker 1: sure we'll be here from the good people at Sabarrow
- 21:01Speaker 1: very soon, you know, thank you us. All right, Well,
- 21:04Speaker 1: you know we're running short on time, but I think
- 21:07Speaker 1: we've got enough time to give the people what they want.
- 21:09Speaker 1: You know, we've been deadly accurate with up picks all
- 21:12Speaker 1: year long, and I think we're gonna go ahead and
- 21:15Speaker 1: give them a lock picks for the next NFL week.
- 21:18Speaker 1: We know, whatever that week happens with who knows. But hey,
- 21:22Speaker 1: we don't know if these games are gonna happen, but
- 21:23Speaker 1: if they do, here's what's gonna happen. Right, Tony, let's
- 21:27Speaker 1: do it. My one percent lock pick of the week
- 21:32Speaker 1: are the Philadelphia Eagles to beat Aaron Rodgers and the
- 21:35Speaker 1: Green Bay Packers. As of right now, the game against
- 21:39Speaker 1: the Seahawks on Monday night hasn't happened, but we both
- 21:42Speaker 1: know that the Eagles are gonna win, which means they're
- 21:45Speaker 1: in first place right now and they need to win
- 21:47Speaker 1: to stay in first place. I love the Eagles to
- 21:50Speaker 1: win thirty seven to four. All Right, I'm going with
- 21:55Speaker 1: the Broncos to beat the Chiefs. Now. You know you
- 21:58Speaker 1: may be saying, why are you taking the bronco Is
- 22:00Speaker 1: to beat the Chiefs. The Broncos don't even have a quarterback. Yeah,
- 22:02Speaker 1: well the Bucks didn't have a quarterback and they only
- 22:05Speaker 1: lost by three to the Chiefs. So I see. You know,
- 22:08Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes, he's been you know, running ragged, you know,
- 22:12Speaker 1: having to play all these games. Meanwhile, the Broncos quarterbacks
- 22:14Speaker 1: they arrested, they're ready to go, you know, rejuvenated from
- 22:18Speaker 1: the regeneration they probably took. I like the Broncos to
- 22:21Speaker 1: beat the Chiefs in a surprise to everyone but me, sixteen.
- 22:25Speaker 1: All right, well that wraps up our picks, and that
- 22:28Speaker 1: wraps up a show. We're not gonna thank Jim Jackson,
- 22:32Speaker 1: are we don'ty know? You kidding me? Now you'll see
- 22:34Speaker 1: why he got traded around. I mean, he didn't last
- 22:37Speaker 1: five minutes on this show. I was going to last
- 22:40Speaker 1: thirty second podcast he did today, we just traded him
- 22:42Speaker 1: off our show too. Yeah, another team gone for Jim Jackson. Anyway,
- 22:48Speaker 1: good job is always Tony, Same to you, PAULI. Another
- 22:51Speaker 1: flawless show. And as we come to the end of
- 22:54Speaker 1: a q H, you know you've learned a little something
- 22:57Speaker 1: on this show. Remember to subscribe people. Look us up
- 23:00Speaker 1: on Facebook, Twitter, look up The fust Co Show. Hey,
- 23:03Speaker 1: we'll see you next week. See you, h m hm
