Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to tea.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Time with Amy and Bev. Good day, Hello, Hello, how
- 0:08Speaker 2: are you?
- 0:09Speaker 1: I'm fabulous. I'm so excited about a couple of things
- 0:11Speaker 1: I want to talk about, but we're gonna only talk
- 0:13Speaker 1: about one in this segment because we're doing shorts today.
- 0:16Speaker 2: So nice, nice, Well let's hit it.
- 0:21Speaker 1: You want to jump in, dive in.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Let's dive in.
- 0:25Speaker 1: All right. So one thing, I heard something in a
- 0:30Speaker 1: way I hadn't heard it before. Or well, no, I
- 0:35Speaker 1: wouldn't say that I heard something that hadn't been presented
- 0:45Speaker 1: for me to think about this. It's I'm still like
- 0:51Speaker 1: I just am. It's really exciting to me because you know,
- 0:55Speaker 1: I'm so much into the healing process and I like
- 0:58Speaker 1: to understand and our human brain and our brain and
- 1:03Speaker 1: body connection and our spiritual connection and also reincarnation. So
- 1:09Speaker 1: if you don't believe in reincarnation, this segment is not
- 1:12Speaker 1: for you, just saying okay, and so make that very clear,
- 1:15Speaker 1: because this is what it's going to pertain to. So
- 1:22Speaker 1: in the things I had taken in as far as
- 1:26Speaker 1: reading and my healing process and then teaching, because I
- 1:31Speaker 1: teach what resonates with me, I was listening to a
- 1:36Speaker 1: podcast last week. Now, the teaching process topic is we
- 1:47Speaker 1: are in a spiritual agreement with each other. So life
- 1:53Speaker 1: is a play. We're looking at it as a play.
- 1:55Speaker 1: We have a script, so to speak, not necessarily a script,
- 1:59Speaker 1: but we have we have our roles. So in spirit
- 2:03Speaker 1: we congregate. We have this idea of Okay, I'm for me,
- 2:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm going to guess because this has been
- 2:11Speaker 1: a huge piece of my life, is I'm going to
- 2:13Speaker 1: go into a human body and learn self love.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Wanted to love myself.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Although when I get into the human body and as
- 2:21Speaker 1: I get older, I don't know that that's actually what
- 2:23Speaker 1: I'm doing here, but I knew there was something more
- 2:26Speaker 1: than just being in a human body and then we die.
- 2:29Speaker 1: So anyway, so learning in my late twenties early thirties,
- 2:37Speaker 1: learning that, okay, learning this idea that we come our
- 2:42Speaker 1: spirit comes into the human body to have growth and expansion.
- 2:46Speaker 1: And we were in agreement.
- 2:48Speaker 2: With these people to show up.
- 2:50Speaker 1: So our parents, right, whatever their issues are or whatever
- 2:54Speaker 1: their amazing life is, we come into it and we
- 2:58Speaker 1: end up experiencing the things we need to do to
- 3:00Speaker 1: have our growth and expansion. So from my perspective thinking
- 3:07Speaker 1: about that for myself, for my healing process, So going
- 3:13Speaker 1: from a victim state of mind to a student state
- 3:16Speaker 1: of mind and learning. Okay, if if I chose my
- 3:22Speaker 1: parents and they're in an unhealthy relationship and I come
- 3:26Speaker 1: into that experience, now I'm being exposed to an unhealthy relationship,
- 3:33Speaker 1: to abuse and YadA, YadA YadA, and my age and
- 3:37Speaker 1: you know, abuse and anger and all the things are
- 3:39Speaker 1: part of me and how I'm healing then, So just
- 3:42Speaker 1: the journey of my own healing and then in that
- 3:44Speaker 1: process learning self love. What was explained on this podcast
- 3:50Speaker 1: last week, which I had not even given a thought about,
- 3:55Speaker 1: is not only are those people in my life to
- 4:02Speaker 1: help me with my spiritual growth and expansion, I'm in
- 4:08Speaker 1: their life for the same damn thing. So if I'm
- 4:13Speaker 1: learning my main topic is self love, I'm agreeing we're
- 4:20Speaker 1: making this spiritual agreement that Okay, well you're going to
- 4:26Speaker 1: mentally and emotionally. I don't know what the conversations are,
- 4:29Speaker 1: but the idea that I'm going to experience mental and
- 4:32Speaker 1: emotional abuse from you and I'm going to take that
- 4:37Speaker 1: with me and that's going to be part of my
- 4:39Speaker 1: growth and expansion of learning self love, and then the
- 4:44Speaker 1: idea of what is their spiritual growth and expansion from
- 4:49Speaker 1: the same experience. What are they there to learn? What
- 4:53Speaker 1: is the abuser as a spirit and body here to
- 4:57Speaker 1: learn from the experience as well. I'd never that just
- 5:05Speaker 1: hadn't even crossed my mind.
- 5:08Speaker 2: That's cool, and.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I was just like, that is so to me, so
- 5:12Speaker 1: exciting to think about it in those terms that it's it.
- 5:17Speaker 2: It's that energy exchange.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I was here to learn something and they showed up
- 5:23Speaker 1: to help me have this experience so I could move
- 5:27Speaker 1: forward and do with it what I will if I
- 5:29Speaker 1: choose to heal or not.
- 5:32Speaker 2: But their spirit was here to.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Have an experience that's going to help them in a
- 5:39Speaker 1: spiritual manner or whatever it is they needed. Is that
- 5:47Speaker 1: I'm just excited about that piece of information. I'm really
- 5:50Speaker 1: excited about Well, it was.
- 5:52Speaker 2: So cool, but it also demonstrates the teacher and the
- 5:55Speaker 2: student on both sides all the time. It's it's always happening,
- 5:59Speaker 2: and it's it's a choice, right because we're here on
- 6:01Speaker 2: free will, so it's our choice to either evolve or
- 6:04Speaker 2: not to evolve. But no matter what, however, we show
- 6:07Speaker 2: up in the world. We're planning seeds. However, we show
- 6:09Speaker 2: up in the world. So even that person, if they
- 6:12Speaker 2: are showing up and then bringing you a not so
- 6:14Speaker 2: positive experience, you're they're still showing up in the world
- 6:17Speaker 2: for something that we can gain from, like, oh, yeah,
- 6:20Speaker 2: look at that, I didn't have a response or I
- 6:22Speaker 2: didn't react. If there's everything everything is meant to be
- 6:26Speaker 2: as it is. Really, even though we're still we have
- 6:29Speaker 2: all these movable parts, and we can do all make
- 6:31Speaker 2: all these decisions and and have this free will to
- 6:34Speaker 2: either stay at home and lock ourselves up or go
- 6:37Speaker 2: out and live life. But that's free will period. Yeah,
- 6:42Speaker 2: and it's nice, it's but and it's so freeing too
- 6:44Speaker 2: because then you you also get a different perspective of
- 6:47Speaker 2: the other person. It's back to the same thing. They're
- 6:49Speaker 2: a soul, so mine. Even if that person on the
- 6:52Speaker 2: on the road was a was a poop head that
- 6:56Speaker 2: there're still there's still part of this whole experience too.
- 6:59Speaker 2: There's nothing wrong with them. It's part of an experience,
- 7:02Speaker 2: maybe not so positive sometimes, but it's still part of
- 7:05Speaker 2: our experience and we can choot. However, we're going to
- 7:08Speaker 2: move from it. And it's awesome.
- 7:11Speaker 1: And so that person if they're in traffic and whatever
- 7:14Speaker 1: they speed by you because you're going too slow and
- 7:17Speaker 1: they flip you off, it's a what are you internalizing
- 7:20Speaker 1: from that experience? And what are they internalizing from that
- 7:26Speaker 1: experience if they are So, I know, Bev is on
- 7:29Speaker 1: this journey of being having self awareness and healing those
- 7:35Speaker 1: emotional mental wounds within herself, and so she's going to
- 7:40Speaker 1: She may not in the moment, she might be in
- 7:41Speaker 1: a bad mood that moment too, yeah, but later she
- 7:46Speaker 1: may take a look at that situation and go, Okay,
- 7:49Speaker 1: well why did.
- 7:50Speaker 2: I show up like that? What was my reaction for?
- 7:52Speaker 1: But at the same time, the other person has most
- 7:57Speaker 1: likely some anger or gra within them in that moment,
- 8:02Speaker 1: and it's whatever they do with the information that are
- 8:07Speaker 1: they just going to keep living life from that state
- 8:09Speaker 1: of mind? Are they going to? Are they maybe on
- 8:14Speaker 1: this self awareness journey and might think about it later
- 8:17Speaker 1: and go, man, I was really I was really uncalled
- 8:20Speaker 1: for or we don't know, We're never probably going to
- 8:23Speaker 1: know what that other person is going through, but recognizing
- 8:29Speaker 1: we're all having these experiences for each other.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Yeah, And it's saying when you just said that sometimes
- 8:38Speaker 2: we don't know what they're going through. When we're so
- 8:40Speaker 2: wrapped up in our own stuff, we don't know what
- 8:42Speaker 2: they're going through. But when we're not so wrapped up
- 8:44Speaker 2: in our own stuff, and we have such an awareness
- 8:47Speaker 2: of what's around us, and that means people, person, you know, situations, everything,
- 8:52Speaker 2: we have a different response to it because we can feel.
- 8:55Speaker 2: I mean, for that is possible, at least it is
- 8:57Speaker 2: for me. I'm not saying that everybody can do that,
- 8:58Speaker 2: because it's like part of it. I have a friend
- 9:01Speaker 2: that she takes dictation and like she can type out
- 9:06Speaker 2: two hundred and sixty words per minutes or whatever, and
- 9:09Speaker 2: we've been talking about things about how spirit kind of
- 9:13Speaker 2: we think all this stuff is mundane, but part of
- 9:15Speaker 2: it's all the process, and it just depends on how
- 9:17Speaker 2: long we want to stay in each process. Really, and
- 9:20Speaker 2: she's been trained. If you're taking dictation, you're trained to listen.
- 9:23Speaker 2: So that's a natural thing, right me doing massage, I
- 9:27Speaker 2: haven't always been this way, not with an awareness that
- 9:30Speaker 2: I've been trained to feel things. And so now it's
- 9:33Speaker 2: gotten to the point when someone walks in and I say,
- 9:36Speaker 2: how are you doing? As long as I'm not wrapped
- 9:38Speaker 2: up in my own bs, my belief systems, right, Like
- 9:41Speaker 2: Suzangeistman says, as long as I'm not wrapped up in
- 9:44Speaker 2: my story, then I'm not. I'm going to be aware
- 9:47Speaker 2: that there's something off here and how I feel it
- 9:50Speaker 2: through my filters, and then I have an opportunity to
- 9:53Speaker 2: be able to see that person and help to enlighten
- 9:56Speaker 2: them or to help taking some other load off the
- 10:00Speaker 2: So that because they now have an opportunity for an outlet,
- 10:03Speaker 2: they have an opportunity doesn't mean they always take the choice.
- 10:05Speaker 2: I can say things like are you sure everything's okay?
- 10:09Speaker 2: Because I can see a happiness on the person. I
- 10:12Speaker 2: can see shadows on a person. I can see I'm
- 10:15Speaker 2: just trying to describe different ways of looking at it.
- 10:18Speaker 2: I can I can feel there's a happiness for the person,
- 10:20Speaker 2: and they're saying, oh no, I'm great, everything's fine. I said,
- 10:24Speaker 2: are you sure? And then they start telling me things,
- 10:27Speaker 2: and then that's an opportunity, right, It's an opportunity to
- 10:30Speaker 2: take the weight off their shoulders a bit. Because we've
- 10:32Speaker 2: talked about this enough times. When we start expressing ourselves
- 10:35Speaker 2: and having these conversations, we start recognizing sometimes when we
- 10:39Speaker 2: say the things, it's like, oh, I was really holding
- 10:41Speaker 2: on to that, like I was holding on to that,
- 10:43Speaker 2: And because when we sut it out loud, it's it's
- 10:46Speaker 2: totally heard and felt differently than how it just ran
- 10:48Speaker 2: through his mill inside of our head. So we have
- 10:51Speaker 2: these opportunities, right, and so everything that you're saying just
- 10:54Speaker 2: leads us right into the next thing. And it's an awareness.
- 10:56Speaker 2: And how do we if we're in that space and
- 11:00Speaker 2: recognize it, well, how do we know because we're paying
- 11:02Speaker 2: attention to how we feel because it didn't feel good,
- 11:04Speaker 2: if an interaction with somebody else doesn't feel good, you know,
- 11:07Speaker 2: it's it's not like, oh, gosh, I got to figure
- 11:10Speaker 2: this out, No, you know it.
- 11:13Speaker 1: You just know it. You know.
- 11:15Speaker 2: I was talking to someone yesterday and we were talking
- 11:17Speaker 2: about just the well I could use kids for example.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Me as being a kid. I remember I didn't hardly
- 11:25Speaker 2: tell my parents anything about my experiences in life. But
- 11:28Speaker 2: I didn't feel like I could talk to them about
- 11:29Speaker 2: stuff like that. But now when I look at it,
- 11:32Speaker 2: I couldn't talk to them about stuff like that because
- 11:33Speaker 2: I knew inside it didn't resonate, it didn't feel right.
- 11:36Speaker 2: So it wasn't a conversation I was going to have
- 11:38Speaker 2: with anybody else. If I'm in a relationship that's kind
- 11:40Speaker 2: of abusive, I say kind of, right, because most of
- 11:43Speaker 2: those times we'll say kind of because it's it really is.
- 11:47Speaker 2: On the bottom line, it's abusive. But when we start
- 11:49Speaker 2: talking about it all to someone else that we recognize
- 11:53Speaker 2: how how bad it sounds or how how it feels,
- 11:55Speaker 2: and it's like, why are we still in that space?
- 11:57Speaker 2: But sometimes we're processing stuff, just going through this whole thing.
- 12:00Speaker 2: We're experiencing things that we can't always discuss all those things.
- 12:04Speaker 2: So it's still just being there for the person and
- 12:06Speaker 2: not not trying to fix it, just being there to listen.
- 12:09Speaker 2: And then it's like whatever spirit wants to bring in,
- 12:11Speaker 2: whatever God wants to bring forward, that's the stuff to share.
- 12:15Speaker 2: And so it's just because you said awareness that all
- 12:17Speaker 2: of it has to do with awareness, all of it,
- 12:20Speaker 2: because I can get wrapped up in all my stuff
- 12:21Speaker 2: and then not be able to not be a participant
- 12:23Speaker 2: in any of it, stuff that could help evolution of
- 12:25Speaker 2: myself and that person.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I had the opportunity. I didn't do so good. Well,
- 12:37Speaker 1: I wouldn't say that I think I did really well
- 12:39Speaker 1: as far as my emotional state in the moment that
- 12:47Speaker 1: the person who molested me their friend was at an
- 12:53Speaker 1: event that I went to this weekend. And the thing is,
- 12:58Speaker 1: this person knew the friend, knew about it, and knew
- 13:02Speaker 1: what was going on for quite some time. Of course,
- 13:07Speaker 1: I found that information out later in life, but so
- 13:12Speaker 1: to be so, having this information that I talked about
- 13:15Speaker 1: at the beginning, I had a heads up before walking
- 13:23Speaker 1: in the door that this person was there, and I
- 13:26Speaker 1: was like, okay, So I just kind of did a
- 13:28Speaker 1: check in, took a breath before I walked in. There
- 13:31Speaker 1: was a bunch of people there. Anyway, this person came
- 13:37Speaker 1: over as some of us were having a conversation, and
- 13:40Speaker 1: this person came over and sat with us to my right,
- 13:44Speaker 1: and noticing that I didn't have the anger that I
- 13:54Speaker 1: had before, noticing the shame and guilt wasn't showing up
- 14:01Speaker 1: like it did before, I was pretty relaxed in my body.
- 14:06Speaker 1: So you know, when you're in a situation like that
- 14:09Speaker 1: that it in the past, could been very easy for
- 14:13Speaker 1: me to be very very angry and have my body
- 14:18Speaker 1: just tense up and nervous and spinning out. But I didn't.
- 14:26Speaker 1: I also didn't interact with them much. He said something
- 14:31Speaker 1: to me, I answered him, and then it was I
- 14:34Speaker 1: kept my attention this way, just knowing he was sitting
- 14:38Speaker 1: there so but having this information that he has his
- 14:47Speaker 1: own spiritual growth and expansion from the whole experience as well,
- 14:54Speaker 1: still noticing though some healing to be had on my
- 15:00Speaker 1: which is okay, But it was also an indicator, as
- 15:02Speaker 1: I say many times, of how I'm doing, So I
- 15:05Speaker 1: compare myself to how I used to be, and knowing
- 15:09Speaker 1: that how much more relaxed I was in my body,
- 15:12Speaker 1: knowing that.
- 15:13Speaker 2: This person is two feet.
- 15:15Speaker 1: From me, and in the moment I did not think
- 15:24Speaker 1: about him on a spiritual level because I was still
- 15:32Speaker 1: maintaining myself in that presence, but later giving some thought
- 15:38Speaker 1: about it, he also was involved in the experience in
- 15:43Speaker 1: whatever way and for his spirit to learn something from it,
- 15:48Speaker 1: whatever that might be. He might even be carrying some
- 15:54Speaker 1: possibly I don't know, could be carrying some guilt for
- 16:00Speaker 1: having known and not saying anything so or or you know,
- 16:07Speaker 1: help out or something to diffuse the situation. So it
- 16:13Speaker 1: wasn't until later that I was able to start having
- 16:16Speaker 1: that conversation within myself about what could possibly what are
- 16:21Speaker 1: possibilities of his was his spirit or was he involved
- 16:27Speaker 1: in the whole dynamics of the experience. So so it
- 16:33Speaker 1: was quite interesting weekend, to say the least.
- 16:38Speaker 2: It's interesting, and I would say that we're processing a
- 16:41Speaker 2: lot of stuff and we always we we have these
- 16:43Speaker 2: conversations and there seems to be similarities. I had a
- 16:47Speaker 2: ricky done on me this weekend and one of the
- 16:51Speaker 2: areas that came up was basically the sacral chakra. And
- 16:55Speaker 2: I was told that basically that the way that that
- 16:58Speaker 2: was spilling to this individual and indicated to them that
- 17:02Speaker 2: there was molestation or something along those lines. And then
- 17:05Speaker 2: she started talking about sensuality, and for me, I associated
- 17:09Speaker 2: sensuality with sexuality, you know, because there's for me there
- 17:13Speaker 2: for my experience, I didn't have the lines are blurred,
- 17:18Speaker 2: so I thought it was pretty much the same thing.
- 17:19Speaker 2: And she's like, no, it's not the same thing. And
- 17:21Speaker 2: it's a sensuality within self. It's not a sensuality to
- 17:24Speaker 2: be sensual for somebody else. That's having that sensuality for self.
- 17:28Speaker 2: And I'm like, I have no idea what that looks like.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Even as far as being a sexual person. I'm typically not.
- 17:37Speaker 2: I'm just that's just not my I can tell you
- 17:40Speaker 2: that there's been still blocks and it comes back to
- 17:44Speaker 2: that molestation. So I was just talking to someone over
- 17:47Speaker 2: the weekend about how we we when we forgive and
- 17:50Speaker 2: we forgive ourselves and everything like that, we still house.
- 17:53Speaker 2: We may think that we're completely done, but we still
- 17:55Speaker 2: house this stuff withinside the body and we don't know
- 17:59Speaker 2: until because we didn't have the tools right. But all
- 18:01Speaker 2: of a sudden, now we have the tools, all of
- 18:03Speaker 2: a sudden. Now you have the tools for this experience.
- 18:05Speaker 2: All of a sudden, Now I have the tools for
- 18:07Speaker 2: this experience, and we show up the best way we can.
- 18:10Speaker 2: But it's made me process and question things a lot
- 18:13Speaker 2: for myself and to look at things. I have been
- 18:16Speaker 2: guided by spirit last week was to cut cords with
- 18:21Speaker 2: my story, and I thought, that's interesting, that's an interesting
- 18:25Speaker 2: process because if I want to bring God through me
- 18:29Speaker 2: all the time, that I can't carry that story anymore.
- 18:32Speaker 2: I can't carry my old stories anymore because I'm edging
- 18:35Speaker 2: out God. I'm not allowing God to come into this
- 18:39Speaker 2: experience with me because I'm holding onto all these other
- 18:41Speaker 2: experiences and I'm just saying this for myself because I've
- 18:44Speaker 2: gone through processes, right but it's being an awareness of
- 18:48Speaker 2: that that that's exactly what I was doing. So that's
- 18:51Speaker 2: part of the process. And then then this morning while
- 18:54Speaker 2: I was driving, I was told to it's time. It's
- 19:00Speaker 2: time for me to let go and release of all
- 19:02Speaker 2: judgments of others, self and situations. And it's part of
- 19:07Speaker 2: a process. It's just part of what does it look like?
- 19:10Speaker 1: You know?
- 19:11Speaker 2: I don't know for sure, but I just know for me,
- 19:12Speaker 2: it's just like, why I just let it go? What happened?
- 19:14Speaker 2: I let it go. So it's like it's just putting
- 19:17Speaker 2: it in the past tense and I'm going through this
- 19:19Speaker 2: process because this is we talk about what we're going
- 19:21Speaker 2: through right now, and these are my processes right now.
- 19:24Speaker 2: And it's changing the way that I feel. It's changing
- 19:28Speaker 2: the way that I Gosh, there used to be a
- 19:31Speaker 2: time that I would never lay without clothes on, without
- 19:34Speaker 2: being covered up with a sheet ever, And now I
- 19:37Speaker 2: could care less. It didn't matter how hot it was,
- 19:39Speaker 2: I would still have that one sheet on me covering
- 19:41Speaker 2: me up because of shame. I guess, well, it is
- 19:45Speaker 2: shame because I wrote down shame when you said that,
- 19:46Speaker 2: And it was something I recognized a few days ago,
- 19:48Speaker 2: even before this ki thing that I've recognized. The reason
- 19:51Speaker 2: I would cover myself is from shame. Shame because like
- 19:56Speaker 2: I did something wrong when I was a child, So
- 19:58Speaker 2: I had to forgive myself for thinking those things because
- 20:01Speaker 2: it's not true. It's just like it's another way of
- 20:03Speaker 2: letting go of it. So it's like this. I always say,
- 20:07Speaker 2: I find this interesting, the parallels that we have these experiences,
- 20:11Speaker 2: and it happens with the people that are in my life,
- 20:13Speaker 2: because it's happening with them too. They're having these similar
- 20:15Speaker 2: experiences of this letting go. And it's the time, it's
- 20:18Speaker 2: it's this energy, it's it's we can't keep evolving forward
- 20:22Speaker 2: holding on all this other stuff.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Yeah, and it is also, I would say, not only shame,
- 20:29Speaker 1: it was also a form of protection.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Yeah. I got my clothes on, Yeah, I got the.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Sheet on, and I would hold that sheet or blanket,
- 20:37Speaker 1: hold it to me and just really pull myself in
- 20:44Speaker 1: and just that was a protection as well.
- 20:48Speaker 2: And I used to lay on my stomach, so laying
- 20:50Speaker 2: on my stomach was my protection. I would I would
- 20:54Speaker 2: cover myself down lower and cover myself across my chat.
- 20:57Speaker 2: I always had myself that was I was protecting. So
- 21:00Speaker 2: it was just a way of and it's not a
- 21:03Speaker 2: victim thing or a good or a bad thing. Was
- 21:04Speaker 2: it was how I got from there to hear really
- 21:08Speaker 2: and now.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I'm also, you're a kid.
- 21:10Speaker 2: You're a kid, and.
- 21:11Speaker 1: That was that was the programming or the survival skill
- 21:15Speaker 1: you developed at that time, or we actually we developed
- 21:17Speaker 1: at that time, and we just carried it until we
- 21:20Speaker 1: knew something different, or until we're out safe and.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Not even being unaware, right, not even knowing that we're
- 21:26Speaker 2: doing it, not even knowing why we're doing those things,
- 21:28Speaker 2: without giving ourselves awareness, without getting to know ourselves.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Yeah, we are such fascinating beings and there's so much
- 21:37Speaker 1: more to this package than what we see just from
- 21:40Speaker 1: our human eyes. And it's like the more I learned
- 21:45Speaker 1: and the more things are presented to me, the more
- 21:47Speaker 1: excited I get about all these different aspects of how
- 21:52Speaker 1: we develop things within ourselves and how we can heal them.
- 21:57Speaker 1: And I mean, I'm reading a book right now, Awakening
- 22:01Speaker 1: the Tiger by Peter Levine, and one of the things
- 22:04Speaker 1: he does, like the entire book, is comparing us to animals.
- 22:07Speaker 1: And one thing that stood out the most is that
- 22:09Speaker 1: when an animal has a traumatic experience, they literally shake
- 22:14Speaker 1: their body, you know, they just do this, right, they
- 22:17Speaker 1: shake their body and it like it's almost like a
- 22:20Speaker 1: reset for them.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Yeah, we don't do that, Yeah we what do we do?
- 22:26Speaker 1: We take it in and we stuff it in our
- 22:30Speaker 1: body and then we.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Talk about it, talk about it, talk about it, talk.
- 22:32Speaker 1: About or we hang on to it and not talk
- 22:35Speaker 1: about it, and it's just stored in us and we
- 22:37Speaker 1: don't know what to do with it, and so we
- 22:38Speaker 1: just the trauma of life, I mean, on any level
- 22:43Speaker 1: could be very minuscule or it could be very intense,
- 22:47Speaker 1: that we store it in our body and we never
- 22:50Speaker 1: I'll say never. Typically it's just in there, and then
- 22:58Speaker 1: we compound it with more and more and more and
- 23:01Speaker 1: more and more of life experiences and we never have
- 23:04Speaker 1: that release. So I thought that was very fascinating to
- 23:10Speaker 1: learn that as well. And I've been around people who
- 23:15Speaker 1: do you know where I've been in groups and I've
- 23:20Speaker 1: also seen it like through zoom where you know, they
- 23:23Speaker 1: start playing music and people are just really just shaking
- 23:27Speaker 1: their body, like standing up and just really shaking their
- 23:29Speaker 1: body and they're just feeling, so they're releasing it through
- 23:33Speaker 1: sound and and when they get done, it's like just
- 23:37Speaker 1: total relaxation.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Nice.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Now, when I had those experiences, I was not in
- 23:45Speaker 1: a space of myself to allow myself that type of freedom.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I mean, still hanging on to that introverted background and
- 23:54Speaker 1: oh yeah, no I'm not, No, I'm not. I'll sit
- 23:57Speaker 1: here and kind of move my body, but I am
- 23:59Speaker 1: not making all those sounds and really letting it go.
- 24:06Speaker 1: But that is another form of a technique to allow
- 24:11Speaker 1: yourself to free your body of some of that emotion
- 24:15Speaker 1: that you've been hanging on to without having the conversation
- 24:19Speaker 1: or having to maybe dive deep. But a lot of
- 24:22Speaker 1: times when we can identify what the trauma is or
- 24:27Speaker 1: the root of it, when we do that movement of
- 24:30Speaker 1: the body, we can really associate of the releasing of it.
- 24:38Speaker 2: What is that technique? Do you know?
- 24:41Speaker 1: No, it's just been It has just showed up in
- 24:45Speaker 1: different classes and things I've taken where they just start
- 24:53Speaker 1: playing music and then there are some people that can
- 24:56Speaker 1: just really get into it and just allow that physical
- 25:00Speaker 1: and verbal relief.
- 25:02Speaker 2: So nothing, because I would like to do that. I
- 25:06Speaker 2: would like to do that. So when you're talking about
- 25:07Speaker 2: all this stuff, the thing that I was processing, I'm
- 25:09Speaker 2: fifty four years old right now. Could I imagine possibly
- 25:14Speaker 2: all the food that I've eaten since the day that
- 25:16Speaker 2: I was born to right now and never digesting it.
- 25:19Speaker 2: That's the same thing we're holding on all that stuff
- 25:21Speaker 2: we've been take We've taken all this information in all
- 25:25Speaker 2: this other stuff and never done anything with it. We've
- 25:28Speaker 2: just held onto it, honestly, and it's like, I can't
- 25:31Speaker 2: even imagine never digesting that stuff. And so that's kind
- 25:35Speaker 2: of where we're at right now. We're in the process
- 25:36Speaker 2: of digesting this stuff. I am not very free with
- 25:39Speaker 2: my body, or haven't been the last couple of days.
- 25:43Speaker 2: I'm doing things differently, so I'm just like, this is
- 25:47Speaker 2: my body. Hello world. I mean, I live out in
- 25:49Speaker 2: the middle of nowhere. So it's like I can do
- 25:51Speaker 2: what I want. So I'm just going to say that,
- 25:53Speaker 2: and I am doing what I want. And it's like,
- 25:55Speaker 2: and I'm catching I've caught myself looking down at myself,
- 25:58Speaker 2: judging myself, and it's like, no, this is for me
- 26:02Speaker 2: to embrace. And that's where letting go of the judgment.
- 26:04Speaker 2: A lot of the judgment. Stuff like that comes from.
- 26:06Speaker 2: So it's like it's it's a lot, it's a lot
- 26:09Speaker 2: from that process to take in. But I'm really interested.
- 26:13Speaker 2: I'll do some research on this because I I and
- 26:16Speaker 2: i'll probably the first few times if I do by myself,
- 26:19Speaker 2: even like Kundalini yoga, if anyone's done Kundalini yoga, some
- 26:22Speaker 2: of the movements can be seductive or you know, kind
- 26:26Speaker 2: of an odd and it's like a fast breathing and
- 26:28Speaker 2: all this stuff, and it's like I've gotten I have
- 26:30Speaker 2: done that a few times too, and I feel it's
- 26:33Speaker 2: a very freeing for my body without even having to
- 26:36Speaker 2: know why, and I'll just feel more happy, more balanced,
- 26:40Speaker 2: more grounded.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Yeah. Also look up Goddess yoga because that will help
- 26:46Speaker 1: you with sensuality within your body. And also, I mean
- 26:51Speaker 1: you even though it's yoga, there are some movements that
- 26:55Speaker 1: will are I mean sensual. So but you're just you're
- 27:03Speaker 1: on your mat doing your thing while everybody else doing
- 27:06Speaker 1: their thing. There's no interaction. But Goddess yoga. There's a
- 27:12Speaker 1: lady we both know who who does Goddess Yodas. You
- 27:16Speaker 1: don't live here, she used to, but Alicia Alicia Alicia,
- 27:23Speaker 1: and yeah, so goddess yoga is a good way when
- 27:29Speaker 1: and then I also have another connection I can give you.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Who actually teaches She moved into.
- 27:38Speaker 1: The sexual relationship with your significant other, but she did
- 27:44Speaker 1: start from having a sensual relationship with herself, so she
- 27:49Speaker 1: teaches you from that to the other and I can
- 27:51Speaker 1: get that information for you as well. But anyways, we
- 27:56Speaker 1: wrap this up. This was a lot, so just what
- 28:01Speaker 1: you want to listen to a couple of times. Do
- 28:06Speaker 1: you have any other final words for the audience?
- 28:11Speaker 2: Live your best life?
- 28:13Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, and whatever way that looks like for you.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Because whatever your best life is right now, it's not
- 28:23Speaker 1: going to be the same in six months or year
- 28:25Speaker 1: or twenty years. But is it your best life from
- 28:29Speaker 1: how you used to be? Yeah, that's our indicator. How
- 28:33Speaker 1: am I doing now compared to how.
- 28:35Speaker 2: I used to be, Not comparing it to somebody else,
- 28:39Speaker 2: not comparent to give me your bed, because we're on
- 28:42Speaker 2: our own journeys, even though there may be parallels, but
- 28:44Speaker 2: certain things are going to work for us that are
- 28:46Speaker 2: going to work for the other.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Right, Yes, thank you, all right, my friends, thanks for
