- 0:01Speaker 1: We are here because you wanted to listen and we
- 0:04Speaker 1: are so happy.
- 0:06Speaker 2: How was that for an intro? Were you a singer
- 0:12Speaker 2: in high school?
- 0:13Speaker 3: Absolutely not.
- 0:15Speaker 2: You weren't a choir?
- 0:17Speaker 3: Absolutely not.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Not even close. I was. You would be. Jackie, can
- 0:23Speaker 2: you sing a tune? Can you sing?
- 0:25Speaker 4: No, but I do know that Oklahoma, we did Oklahoma.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Oklahoma, where the wind comes screaming. Oklahoma, where the wind,
- 0:34Speaker 2: we did that musical. Speaking of choir, guys, I've been
- 0:40Speaker 2: waiting to talk about this so much. So, okay.
- 0:44Speaker 5: Here's what I'm going to say. Here's what I'm going
- 0:45Speaker 5: to say first. This thing was a tragedy. Do not
- 0:49Speaker 5: get me wrong. Complete tragedy, awful. That is true. Simultaneously though,
- 0:58Speaker 5: if I may be allowed to talk about the craziest
- 1:02Speaker 5: trial I've seen in a while, the American Idol singer, Flynn.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Is that his name? Last name Flynn.
- 1:15Speaker 5: I just have to talk about it. When they brought
- 1:18Speaker 5: the door in, they brought the door in. So I
- 1:23Speaker 5: don't even get, there was so much to consume with it.
- 1:27Speaker 5: I guess he said they broke in and then they
- 1:29Speaker 5: bring the door, the physical front door into the courtroom
- 1:33Speaker 5: to say, no one broke in. Here was my flag
- 1:37Speaker 5: on it where I was like, aside from the text messages,
- 1:41Speaker 5: which we need to talk about. And we got to
- 1:43Speaker 5: talk about the song. But on the 911 call, he says,
- 1:48Speaker 5: my wife's been shot twice.
- 1:50Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 1:52Speaker 5: If your wife is shot and you're calling 911, how
- 1:57Speaker 5: on earth would you know the bullet count?
- 2:00Speaker 2: I know. I was like, sir, I'm thinking this doesn't
- 2:06Speaker 2: look good for you. Oh, my gosh. Did you not
- 2:10Speaker 2: know this? Did you watch? Did you guys? I'm not.
- 2:12Speaker 5: Did you watch the courtroom? listening to the song, the
- 2:19Speaker 5: AI song that he... So he had like AI write
- 2:23Speaker 5: a song for the girlfriend. And then for a full
- 2:29Speaker 5: 10 minutes, the entire courtroom is listening to the full song.
- 2:33Speaker 2: A 10 minute song. It was two songs or something.
- 2:37Speaker 2: It was like two songs. I've only heard the one song.
- 2:39Speaker 2: I don't know that TikTok captured the second song. The comments.
- 2:45Speaker 5: The screenshots, like, again, I want to reiterate, horrible, horrible.
- 2:50Speaker 5: The tragedy of this whole thing is terrible. Do not
- 2:54Speaker 5: get me wrong. The tragedy is beyond. But the AI
- 2:59Speaker 5: song and watching this courtroom of people listening to it
- 3:05Speaker 5: and like the relatives of the woman he killed trying
- 3:09Speaker 5: to hold in their laughter. Like, what show is it
- 3:12Speaker 5: where they do this? when they want to laugh, there's
- 3:15Speaker 5: like a show where they want to laugh so hard.
- 3:17Speaker 2: And they pull their papers over their faces. Is that American?
- 3:20Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 3:21Speaker 3: I mean, they have done that.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I feel like that's a crutch. Like when you want
- 3:26Speaker 1: to laugh and you don't want to show that you're laughing.
- 3:27Speaker 2: You put, yeah. Or you go like this, like I'm friends. Yeah.
- 3:32Speaker 1: You know, I have many thoughts and I like, don't
- 3:34Speaker 1: even know if they're like appropriate for me to say.
- 3:38Speaker 2: None of this is appropriate.
- 3:39Speaker 5: So it's, we're going to make this a safe space
- 3:41Speaker 5: because we've said, We understand how awful this is.
- 3:45Speaker 2: And this poor woman was killed and there's this affair
- 3:51Speaker 2: and there's children. So we are saying it's terrible.
- 3:55Speaker 5: While simultaneously, we can freely talk about this trial being wild, wild.
- 4:02Speaker 1: It's just all of the evidence is just so shocking,
- 4:06Speaker 1: in my opinion, that they even have that evidence.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Does that make sense?
- 4:10Speaker 1: Like he literally outwardly said, I'm going to kill her.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I want or not. I think they said, I want
- 4:16Speaker 2: to kill her. I don't want to, I don't want
- 4:17Speaker 2: to get it.
- 4:18Speaker 5: Wrong, but somebody did like a full Reddit thread.
- 4:22Speaker 3: It's just bananas because the text.
- 4:25Speaker 5: And I can't even read them. They're so cringe. No,
- 4:27Speaker 5: they're so cringe.
- 4:29Speaker 1: And, and also just in what, in what world is, Like,
- 4:36Speaker 1: I also kind of got to like think about the
- 4:38Speaker 1: mistress for a second, because why aren't you calling the
- 4:41Speaker 1: police here?
- 4:42Speaker 2: Well, she's saying it, too. She said it, too.
- 4:45Speaker 5: So I have a theory and I'm sure this I
- 4:47Speaker 5: just haven't. I watched 20, 15, 20 minutes of her
- 4:50Speaker 5: testimony last night.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Obviously, not obviously. Allegedly, this is my opinion. This is
- 4:56Speaker 2: just my opinion. they obviously gave her a deal. Like, Hey,
- 5:01Speaker 2: cause I don't understand why she's not an accessory.
- 5:03Speaker 5: She would have to have, I'm assuming they gave her
- 5:06Speaker 5: some sort of a deal, which is then why she's
- 5:09Speaker 5: totally testifying for the prosecution. I mean, it's, it's so
- 5:17Speaker 5: the reading the text messages. I don't understand why anyone,
- 5:21Speaker 5: this is my thing. They're the worst criminals on the planet.
- 5:23Speaker 5: They're putting it all in writing.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Like, What? Yeah. No, it is.
- 5:31Speaker 3: It is beyond.
- 5:32Speaker 2: She says, what can I do? And he writes, kill her. What?
- 5:39Speaker 2: That's why I'm like.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I just don't even understand how conversations like this are had.
- 5:44Speaker 2: I've never written anything like that in my entire life.
- 5:46Speaker 2: I can tell you that. I don't. What? I won't
- 5:48Speaker 2: even write.
- 5:49Speaker 5: I want to punch her or him because I think
- 5:53Speaker 5: that's too violent to even write that.
- 5:55Speaker 2: You know, when someone makes you mad, you're like, dang,
- 5:57Speaker 2: I want to punch them.
- 5:58Speaker 5: I never even would write that because I'm like, I
- 6:01Speaker 5: don't want to punch anybody.
- 6:02Speaker 2: You know what I mean? I'm not actually going to
- 6:05Speaker 2: ever punch a person.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I just like it also, like from the mistress perspective,
- 6:11Speaker 1: why are you with a guy that's saying that about
- 6:14Speaker 1: his wife?
- 6:15Speaker 2: She's saying it too. You're forgetting that.
- 6:17Speaker 1: She's saying it too.
- 6:19Speaker 2: That's why, look, I am not usually the person that,
- 6:23Speaker 2: the other woman, the girlfriend, whatever. I usually am like,
- 6:26Speaker 2: you know what? You don't know what the guy is saying.
- 6:28Speaker 5: And, and he was saying a lot of things like,
- 6:33Speaker 5: you know, we're really just friends.
- 6:34Speaker 2: She's had affairs too, blah, blah, blah.
- 6:38Speaker 5: So you don't really know what he was saying to
- 6:40Speaker 5: her and she wasn't married and she's 20 years old
- 6:43Speaker 5: or whatever.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Right.
- 6:44Speaker 5: So a lot of times I'm going to not be
- 6:47Speaker 5: the person that just blames that person because But after
- 6:50Speaker 5: these text messages, I was like, oh, these text messages
- 6:54Speaker 5: are so.
- 6:55Speaker 2: They are the most.
- 6:58Speaker 3: They make me want to gnarly. It is just insane.
- 7:01Speaker 1: And you I think you texted me yesterday and you go,
- 7:05Speaker 1: he looks so different than American.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Everybody's putting no one year ago. Everyone's when was he
- 7:12Speaker 2: on American Idol? Does anyone know how long ago? 2013.
- 7:14Speaker 2: So like a long time ago.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Yeah. Look at the side-by-side of August 2025 to now.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Yeah, no, it is. Because I immediately looked when you
- 7:28Speaker 1: said that.
- 7:29Speaker 3: I looked, I was like, what.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Did he look like before? I couldn't recall him on
- 7:32Speaker 2: American Idol. A hundred thousand text messages. Ugh. Ugh. What?
- 7:40Speaker 3: It's insanity. Insanity.
- 7:43Speaker 1: And then not to like put even a darker cloud
- 7:47Speaker 1: over this podcast, but I mean, talk about wanting to vomit.
- 7:52Speaker 2: That's why I'm saying all this stuff this week.
- 7:54Speaker 5: Is just like heavy. It is heavy and dark. The
- 8:00Speaker 5: Cornell one is like so awful.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I know.
- 8:03Speaker 5: This one had some this Caleb Flynn one had Like
- 8:07Speaker 5: I'm wondering, are they going to make a TV movie
- 8:09Speaker 5: of this?
- 8:10Speaker 3: A hundred percent they are.
- 8:11Speaker 2: A thousand percent. Because it's almost like you have to.
- 8:15Speaker 1: They're also making a movie on, oh my gosh, The Reiners.
- 8:21Speaker 1: That's going to be a movie.
- 8:22Speaker 2: They are? How do you know that?
- 8:24Speaker 3: No, I'm just saying they are going to.
- 8:25Speaker 2: No, I feel like that's way too gnarly. How could
- 8:28Speaker 2: they make that movie?
- 8:29Speaker 3: I just feel like that stuff always happens.
- 8:31Speaker 5: Maybe though like in 20 years, sometimes it becomes easier
- 8:35Speaker 5: to like, stomach some of these true crime things i
- 8:39Speaker 5: want to watch court tv more all that this made
- 8:41Speaker 5: me do is why did i not have court tv
- 8:43Speaker 5: on just like 24 7 because this trial was all
- 8:46Speaker 5: on television i gotta stay.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Away from it because it really makes me spiral i
- 8:52Speaker 1: i when i see people when i see things like
- 8:55Speaker 1: this like the cornell and the in this case with
- 8:59Speaker 1: all the text messages i'm like wow people like this
- 9:01Speaker 1: exist in our world and that really makes me go
- 9:04Speaker 1: down a dark hole I like, it really.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Really puts me down. All the comments are like, dear husbands,
- 9:09Speaker 2: just divorce us. Wait, I have a question.
- 9:12Speaker 5: So do you feel that way when you watch, like
- 9:14Speaker 5: I'm trying to like Law & Order SVU or like
- 9:18Speaker 5: the OG Simpson?
- 9:19Speaker 1: Maybe that's why I don't like those shows. But back
- 9:21Speaker 1: to what you were saying, Amy, a lot of it
- 9:22Speaker 1: says husbands divorce me or a lot of it is
- 9:26Speaker 1: women raise respectable men.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Right.
- 9:31Speaker 1: And And I see that and I'm like, oh my God,
- 9:34Speaker 1: I have two little boys. Like this is, you know,
- 9:37Speaker 1: and I've always said that from the beginning.
- 9:40Speaker 3: My goal in life is.
- 9:41Speaker 1: To raise two boys that are so respectful and so kind.
- 9:45Speaker 1: And that is my goal.
- 9:46Speaker 3: But it's like, holy cow.
- 9:47Speaker 5: Barely 101 to me though. Hey, if you find yourself
- 9:51Speaker 5: in a marriage and it's truly terrible, I understand all
- 9:56Speaker 5: the reasons to not get divorced. uh let's not turn
- 10:00Speaker 5: to murder seems like there's a long list of things
- 10:03Speaker 5: you could do before murder.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I'm Kate Hudson and I'm Oliver Hudson and sibling revelry

- 11:12Speaker 2: Let's pivot to Travis Garland. Have we talked about him
- 11:15Speaker 2: on the air? I think a little bit. You mentioned it.
- 11:17Speaker 5: I'm really drawn into Travis Garland right now.
- 11:20Speaker 1: You have been saying this. He's having a real moment
- 11:24Speaker 1: right now, especially with Dancing with the Stars.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Don't get me wrong.
- 11:26Speaker 5: I'm not like hot for Travis Garland. There's something very
- 11:30Speaker 5: swag about him. Like he's got... Is that what the
- 11:32Speaker 5: kids say? He's got a lot of swag.
- 11:33Speaker 4: But I.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Love watching him sing the song.
- 11:38Speaker 5: So if you watch his Instagram, what he does is
- 11:41Speaker 5: he'll do his rehearsal video of him singing it. And
- 11:44Speaker 5: then in the little box is the dance. He is
- 11:47Speaker 5: a great voice. I hope he wins America's Got Talent.
- 11:49Speaker 5: Is it still going or is it over?
- 11:50Speaker 2: He got eliminated. What?
- 11:52Speaker 4: Why?
- 11:52Speaker 2: Who could be better than him?
- 11:54Speaker 4: He got eliminated before the semifinals, I believe it was.
- 11:57Speaker 2: That's why he's back in the ballroom. Yes. That guy
- 12:00Speaker 2: has got serious swag. What is the word for... What
- 12:04Speaker 2: does a cool kid say? Like, he's got riz. The riz. Riz.
- 12:08Speaker 2: That's what it is.
- 12:09Speaker 3: I gotta say, he doesn't do it for me.
- 12:12Speaker 2: But wasn't he... I'm not attracted to him. He's married.
- 12:14Speaker 2: I don't want to make out with him. It's none
- 12:15Speaker 2: of that. But when he's singing those songs and he
- 12:17Speaker 2: does this kind of little this and that-y, shaky shaky,
- 12:20Speaker 2: I'm like... Shaky shaky. Dude.
- 12:23Speaker 4: What?
- 12:23Speaker 3: And correct me if I'm wrong, but he's... been in
- 12:27Speaker 3: the world, the Zeitgeist.
- 12:28Speaker 2: He was in like a boy band or something, right? Yes,
- 12:30Speaker 2: with Kevin McHale. Oh my gosh, NLT. Wait, that's not
- 12:34Speaker 2: Matthew Morrison's boy band also, was it? No, no, no.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Kevin McHale from Glee, NLT. NLT, yes. JJ. Yes, yes, yes.
- 12:42Speaker 5: Are Kevin McHale and Travis Garland still buds?
- 12:44Speaker 2: They must be.
- 12:46Speaker 5: I know that also all the Glee cast was like
- 12:50Speaker 5: at Dancing with the Stars for Harry, right? Yeah, Chris
- 12:52Speaker 5: Colfer was there, yeah.
- 12:53Speaker 2: And a bunch of them.
- 12:55Speaker 1: You know, this is my pitch. I want Gavin DeGraw.
- 13:00Speaker 2: You already did Dancer of the Stars. You're trying to
- 13:03Speaker 2: get rid of Travis Garland?
- 13:05Speaker 1: Maybe.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Wait, no.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Here's the thing.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I'm not trying to get rid of him. I just
- 13:09Speaker 1: want Gavin to be back in the zeitgeist like this.
- 13:12Speaker 5: Well, we can work on that. But Travis Garland sings
- 13:15Speaker 5: Teddy Swim's song, The Door. I didn't even know that song.
- 13:19Speaker 5: Sought on Dancing with the Stars. Immediately go to Travis
- 13:22Speaker 5: Garland's Instagram. Immediately download Teddy Swim's.
- 13:26Speaker 2: I mean, artists.
- 13:27Speaker 5: No wonder they want their songs on Dancing with the Stars.
- 13:30Speaker 5: Because you literally find out about cool songs from Dancing
- 13:34Speaker 5: with the Stars.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Dancing with the stars is the moment right now.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Do me a favor. Just go on Instagram right now.
- 13:40Speaker 2: We're just going to do this live. We're going to
- 13:41Speaker 2: do a live watch and go to Travis Garland. So
- 13:44Speaker 2: like search Travis Garland. I'm going to do it with you.
- 13:47Speaker 2: I'm going to do it with you. Okay. Travis Garland.
- 13:49Speaker 2: So then click on that and then click on his
- 13:51Speaker 2: thing and scroll down to the door. Do you see that?
- 13:56Speaker 2: The door. And I will turn mine down and tell
- 13:59Speaker 2: me you do not. He had, tell me that guy
- 14:01Speaker 2: does not have Riz. He has I don't even have
- 14:07Speaker 2: the volume up. And I'm like, that dude's got one
- 14:09Speaker 2: big muscle showing on at my face. And then he's
- 14:14Speaker 2: got those little dancey moves. Riz, Riz, Riz, Riz. You
- 14:20Speaker 2: know how he got the gig? Mark Ballas.
- 14:23Speaker 3: All roads lead to Mark Ballas.
- 14:25Speaker 5: All roads lead to Mark Ballas. Mark Ballas, by the way,
- 14:28Speaker 5: might be my front runner now.
- 14:30Speaker 1: You know, I got to give it to Mark too.
- 14:31Speaker 5: I am stunned by the, by the elimination of Taylor though. Stunned, shocked, dismayed,
- 14:38Speaker 5: whatever the words are, not happy about it.
- 14:40Speaker 3: I think they were not happy about that.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I don't understand how they possibly went home.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Yeah. Look, what? I am not happy about it.
- 14:57Speaker 4: I think because people are rooting for Guillermo because he's
- 15:00Speaker 4: playing into the fun.
- 15:01Speaker 2: It does not have to be Guillermo, but what about
- 15:03Speaker 2: the banana? The banana. Savannah Banana. Yeah. What about your
- 15:10Speaker 2: friend Sierra? How's she doing?
- 15:14Speaker 1: Sierra isn't... I mean, look. This is my hot take.
- 15:19Speaker 1: This is my hot take. This is what I wanted
- 15:20Speaker 1: to talk about with Dancing in the Stars. Jenna Dewan,
- 15:23Speaker 1: Val Shmerkovsky do a Dance of a dance.
- 15:28Speaker 3: It is stunning, beautiful, flawless, if you will.
- 15:33Speaker 2: I have to watch a little of it right now,
- 15:35Speaker 2: but keep going.
- 15:36Speaker 1: And I watch it and I'm like, cool.
- 15:39Speaker 2: I know you're like not loving them.
- 15:41Speaker 3: But I love them.
- 15:42Speaker 1: That's the thing.
- 15:44Speaker 5: Is it like Carrie Ann Anaba said, she's trying too
- 15:47Speaker 5: hard or something?
- 15:48Speaker 3: I don't even know if it's that.
- 15:50Speaker 2: It's just like, I can't dig.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Their stuff is beautiful. It is stunning. I cannot critique it.
- 15:55Speaker 1: But Sierra Miller, who can't even be close to that
- 15:59Speaker 1: at this point, I watch it and I go.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Yes, girl, you do it.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Right, right, right.
- 16:04Speaker 3: I'm so happy for you.
- 16:06Speaker 1: You know?
- 16:06Speaker 3: Do you think, because like.
- 16:09Speaker 5: I don't mind watching Val with that white blazer unbuttoned, though.
- 16:14Speaker 4: Jenna, I feel like it's unexpected. Like, I feel like
- 16:17Speaker 4: Carry On was on point.
- 16:17Speaker 5: Or is it like watching two professionals dance where you're like, oh,
- 16:20Speaker 5: it's so good, but like, I'm not.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Excited by it because... It's just two professionals dancing. Right.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Maura Higgins with Mark. I'm like a jaw to the floor.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Did not know she had that in her.
- 16:34Speaker 2: The winner is Ezra though. Are you kidding me?
- 16:35Speaker 3: Oh my God. Do not even get me started on Ezra.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Ezra is the winner. Should be the winner.
- 16:40Speaker 1: The one, two people that I will say that totally
- 16:43Speaker 1: draw me in that I did not expect to.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Maura and Mark. Tatiana Ali.
- 16:48Speaker 3: She is doing so great. I love her.
- 16:52Speaker 1: And I love, I honestly love how like much Alfonso
- 16:55Speaker 1: loves her you can.
- 16:56Speaker 5: Just tell obviously they're on the show here's what I
- 17:00Speaker 5: think I think it's going to be a rough week
- 17:02Speaker 5: next week somebody's going home that's going to be unexpected.
- 17:05Speaker 4: I know how can they not I think I'm not
- 17:08Speaker 4: emotionally invested into like Jenna Dewan I think.
- 17:11Speaker 2: That's what it is. It's like watching two pros dance. Yeah.
- 17:15Speaker 2: You're not feeling like. You're not rooting for it. Are
- 17:17Speaker 2: they going to fall? Oh, no. What's going to happen?
- 17:19Speaker 2: Are they going to be good? It's like, obviously, they're
- 17:22Speaker 2: going to be good. Another one.
- 17:23Speaker 3: Connor Wood.
- 17:23Speaker 2: He's so darling.
- 17:25Speaker 1: And I am literally his biggest cheerleader. I'm like, he
- 17:27Speaker 1: is so cute.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Do the foxtrot. I love your foxtrot.
- 17:31Speaker 2: I agree with you.
- 17:32Speaker 5: I have a question because I know everyone's talking about
- 17:34Speaker 5: the VMAs and Taylor Swift. And I want to talk
- 17:36Speaker 5: about Ella Bright, of course.
- 17:38Speaker 2: But.
- 17:39Speaker 5: What is this video that literally multiple friends have been like,
- 17:43Speaker 5: did you watch the video of Patient Zero?
- 17:45Speaker 2: No, I did not.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Iconic.
- 17:47Speaker 3: So good.
- 17:49Speaker 2: What makes it so good?
- 17:51Speaker 1: Good.
- 17:52Speaker 3: The leading man.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Who is the leading man?
- 17:55Speaker 3: That's what she said.
- 17:57Speaker 2: She has Colin Farrell. That's a good casting.
- 18:00Speaker 3: And Dakota Johnson.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Should I watch it?
- 18:02Speaker 5: That's why she introduced her at the VMAs, right? So
- 18:05Speaker 5: do I watch, what's it called? Patient Zero.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Sounds like a zombie movie. Okay. I'm watching it.
- 18:22Speaker 7: Hey, it's Lee Norris.
- 18:24Speaker 2: And Marla Sokoloff.
- 18:25Speaker 7: And even though we're recognizable actors of nostalgia, we're actually
- 18:28Speaker 7: only passionate.
- 18:29Speaker 2: About one thing. Bravo Reality Television.
- 18:32Speaker 7: And now we're turning our expertise into a podcast called
- 18:35Speaker 7: Class Reunion with Lee and Marla.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Every week, we'll take a trip around the Bravoverse while
- 18:39Speaker 1: also checking in on our favorite show of the season.
- 18:42Speaker 2: We grew up on TV. And now we're watching it
- 18:44Speaker 2: with you.
- 18:45Speaker 7: Listen to Class Reunion on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts,
- 18:49Speaker 7: or wherever you get your podcasts.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Okay, it's good. It's really a good video. Yeah.
- 18:55Speaker 5: At first, I was like, wait, what's happening? Because they
- 18:58Speaker 5: obviously look alike. And then, because we were all watching
- 19:02Speaker 5: it together during the break.
- 19:03Speaker 2: So then I'm like, what's happening? I didn't realize she
- 19:07Speaker 2: was a ghost until the end. And then I did
- 19:10Speaker 2: see like, I was like, Oh, there's Matthew Stafford at
- 19:12Speaker 2: the party. There was a few good celeb cameos.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Aaron Andrews husband.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Oh, Oh yeah.
- 19:17Speaker 5: These are like all her friends. And then is he, okay.
- 19:20Speaker 5: So let me tell you what I think it's about.
- 19:22Speaker 5: And then tell me if you agree. So obviously Taylor
- 19:24Speaker 5: Swift was married to Colin Farrell. I'm just gonna use
- 19:27Speaker 5: the actor's names.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Right. And he poisons her and kills her. Mm-hmm. I think, yes.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Yes, but I also think there's a hypothetical to it.
- 19:39Speaker 2: You can get to that part.
- 19:40Speaker 5: So then she's singing the song, because the one part
- 19:44Speaker 5: that's confusing me is like, because she's saying like.
- 19:50Speaker 2: but she's dead. But that's probably just part of the video.
- 19:52Speaker 5: So then Dakota Johnson is now married to Colin Farrell
- 19:56Speaker 5: and it's all glamorous and wonderful. And then the drama
- 20:01Speaker 5: starts happening. And he's obviously probably has a new lady.
- 20:04Speaker 5: Maybe it's Cara Delevingne.
- 20:05Speaker 2: I'm not sure.
- 20:06Speaker 5: And then he's poisoning her in her coffee. because she's
- 20:09Speaker 5: not feeling good in.
- 20:12Speaker 2: The car part. And Taylor Swift is saying like, run, run, run.
- 20:16Speaker 2: She's like her ghost. Right. And run in the wine
- 20:21Speaker 2: like he's going to murder you too. Yep. And I'm
- 20:26Speaker 2: patient zero. I was the first one to deal with this. Yeah.
- 20:30Speaker 3: So I think what the truth is- Good song, good video.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Better video. Good song, real good video.
- 20:35Speaker 1: So I think like the real story of this is
- 20:39Speaker 1: Taylor Swift dated somebody and that relationship killed her, right?
- 20:44Speaker 1: You know, in the sense of like, it destroyed her personally.
- 20:49Speaker 1: So then she's off on her merry way. And this
- 20:51Speaker 1: guy that she dated in her past is dating somebody new.
- 20:55Speaker 1: And this person is dying slowly in the relationship and
- 21:00Speaker 1: is reaching out to Taylor to say, hey, Taylor, did
- 21:02Speaker 1: you experience this too?
- 21:04Speaker 3: And she's like, I got you girl, call me.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I did that once and it happened.
- 21:08Speaker 5: And the person was so awesome and amazing and literally
- 21:13Speaker 5: was like, yeah, that happened to me too, run.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Literally, the video, that happened to me. That's what I
- 21:18Speaker 2: feel like. Although there was no murder. There was no murder.
- 21:23Speaker 1: I think Taylor likes to make it grander in her videos.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Correct.
- 21:26Speaker 5: I also think Taylor, okay, is there any world where like,
- 21:31Speaker 5: something to this sort of happened, but then Taylor is
- 21:34Speaker 5: smart and knows how to really write a song and
- 21:37Speaker 5: make a video.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Like it's just, that's exactly the point.
- 21:40Speaker 1: I think what I said is what the reality is,
- 21:42Speaker 1: but then this is the video.
- 21:43Speaker 2: People take all her stuff very literally when maybe like,
- 21:46Speaker 2: it was just like a small modicum of, they say,
- 21:48Speaker 2: as they say of sort of truth to it.
- 21:51Speaker 5: And then she can write the song. Because I mean,
- 21:53Speaker 5: I can't write the song, but I can write the
- 21:55Speaker 5: song and do the video too. Because like, girl, I've
- 21:58Speaker 5: been there too. I totally get it.
- 22:00Speaker 2: I just don't know how to write songs or make
- 22:02Speaker 2: music videos.
- 22:03Speaker 6: Right.
- 22:04Speaker 4: And she's had conversations like this too with her girlfriend.
- 22:08Speaker 1: So this is one of four songs that were released
- 22:11Speaker 1: as the encore. And she's getting a lot of heat
- 22:14Speaker 1: for the encore saying that it wasn't good.
- 22:15Speaker 2: I know people are being really mean on one of them.
- 22:17Speaker 2: They're being really mean about one of them. Which? Saying
- 22:19Speaker 2: it's a bad song. Look, I... I appreciate it. I've
- 22:24Speaker 2: heard it.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Like, is it her best song ever?
- 22:26Speaker 1: No.
- 22:26Speaker 3: But I think it's cute.
- 22:28Speaker 2: He's from Cleveland. Yeah, so.
- 22:30Speaker 3: Yeah, he's from Cleveland.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Oh, so is it about like, I went to Cleveland
- 22:33Speaker 2: and fell in love? Mm-hmm. I met a boy from Cleveland?
- 22:36Speaker 2: What's it about?
- 22:37Speaker 3: Yeah, essentially.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Let her live. Let her live. Let her meet a
- 22:40Speaker 2: boy from Cleveland.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Like, you're shaming her for putting her diary into words
- 22:45Speaker 1: and like, not into words, it is words, her diary
- 22:48Speaker 1: into a song.
- 22:49Speaker 3: Let her do it. Let her let us in.
- 22:50Speaker 2: I don't understand. Look, Here's my thing. I'm not like
- 22:56Speaker 2: the front row super fan, right? But I'm also not
- 22:59Speaker 2: like here to drag Taylor Swift, who's like iconic, right? Like,
- 23:04Speaker 2: let these people do their thing.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Right.
- 23:07Speaker 3: All I will say is I love Patient Zero.
- 23:09Speaker 1: I find the.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Song to be very catchy. And I love that video.
- 23:13Speaker 2: So you know what?
- 23:13Speaker 5: I also think great casting. Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell.
- 23:18Speaker 5: Unexpected with Colin Farrell, but yet, hello.
- 23:22Speaker 4: Can I add a little swiftness in here? You know
- 23:25Speaker 4: the clues that she gave at the Emmys? Saccharide, Aries,
- 23:27Speaker 4: From the Vineyard, North or South?
- 23:29Speaker 2: Oh, is that all in the video? All in the video.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Saccharide was a sugar molecule.
- 23:34Speaker 4: Colin Farrell plays a lead character on an Apple TV
- 23:36Speaker 4: series called Sugar.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Aries, you see the statue in the... This feels very,
- 23:42Speaker 2: very stretchy to me. From the Vineyard, Cara Delevingne was
- 23:45Speaker 2: in it. North or South? North or South Dakota? So
- 23:51Speaker 2: I think.
- 23:51Speaker 5: Those are like, oh, my God, I have to say
- 23:54Speaker 5: that's insane.
- 23:55Speaker 2: That feels like I could do that with anything.
- 23:57Speaker 4: I could be like, no, but it's like literal North
- 24:00Speaker 4: and South Dakota.
- 24:03Speaker 1: They also say that Cara Delevingne was in the Bad
- 24:05Speaker 1: Blood music video.
- 24:06Speaker 3: So they think that this is a.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Connection to the guy that that album was about.
- 24:17Speaker 5: I don't know about any of all that, but what
- 24:19Speaker 5: I can say is that Colin Farrell is 50 years
- 24:21Speaker 5: old and looks amazing.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Like honky honk.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Like Colin Farrell is so hot.
- 24:30Speaker 2: He's so hot in that video. And like, how old
- 24:33Speaker 2: is Taylor Swift? She's not that old, right? 35? She's
- 24:35Speaker 2: my age.
- 24:36Speaker 3: She's 37. She's turning 37.
- 24:40Speaker 2: And how old's Dakota Johnson? The same-ish.
- 24:42Speaker 5: Right, so they cast this dude who's older, but he
- 24:45Speaker 5: looks good. Like, Colin Farrell is totally not, does not
- 24:49Speaker 5: feel old for this video.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Dakota Johnson's 36. You just gave me kind of chills.
- 24:57Speaker 1: What if it's one of the older people that she dated?
- 25:00Speaker 3: Like, they purposely dated older people?
- 25:03Speaker 2: Jake Gyllenhaal? She did.
- 25:04Speaker 3: Jake Gyllenhaal.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Let's not name names here, guys. Like, we don't know. Well,
- 25:10Speaker 2: I thought we already went through the Scarves thing with
- 25:12Speaker 2: Jake Gyllenhaal. I just got chills.
- 25:13Speaker 1: You just pointed out kind of an obvious thing.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Wait, Colin. So I discovered a thing. Jake Gyllenhaal.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Or John Mayer.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Or John Mayer. Why are we naming all these poor people?
- 25:25Speaker 5: Like, maybe it was just like, look, people have like, look,
- 25:29Speaker 5: here's my thing.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Like, They're like five years apart.
- 25:32Speaker 5: Look, I believe that Taylor ended up with Travis and
- 25:35Speaker 5: they are totally great. And if she didn't have all
- 25:38Speaker 5: these people, maybe she never would have found Travis and
- 25:41Speaker 5: she would have never known that Travis was the one
- 25:44Speaker 5: and blah, blah, blah.
- 25:45Speaker 2: So I am like, I am. Thank you. Next. You know,
- 25:49Speaker 2: Ariana Grande. Thank you. Next. I like that. I'm going
- 25:54Speaker 2: to thank you. Next. I'm sure Taylor Swift is like,
- 25:58Speaker 2: thank you. Whoever. Because you led me to Travis. Yeah.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Right. That's good.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Right.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Thank you. Next. Oh my God.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Okay.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Is that a good song? Thank you. Next. I feel
- 26:11Speaker 2: like it kind of is. It is good.
- 26:12Speaker 3: I love that song. But speaking of the VMAs.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Madonna. What is happening? What is happening? What is happening?
- 26:20Speaker 5: What was happening? I did not watch the VMAs, but
- 26:22Speaker 5: I only watched the clips. And I thought, is she,
- 26:25Speaker 5: what's going on? She seems a little, what's, what's happening?
- 26:28Speaker 5: Was something off?
- 26:30Speaker 1: I think she was just being Madonna. The thing that
- 26:33Speaker 1: I was.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Like, oh boy. So is she being Madonna portraying someone awful?
- 26:37Speaker 3: I don't know the answer to you.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Okay.
- 26:39Speaker 2: First, I love Tom Cruise so much, but I can't
- 26:42Speaker 2: watch him go through the Jennifer Hudson line. Do you
- 26:44Speaker 2: know what I'm talking about? Oh my gosh. I saw that.
- 26:47Speaker 2: The Tom Cruise is here. Like I can't, I was like, oh,
- 26:50Speaker 2: I need it to end. And it was the longest
- 26:51Speaker 2: one they've ever done.
- 26:52Speaker 5: I was like, oh, and his, oh, like, so I'm
- 26:57Speaker 5: wondering like Tom Cruise knows how to play like, the
- 27:00Speaker 5: best interviewer-y you've ever had, right?
- 27:03Speaker 1: Right.
- 27:04Speaker 2: So maybe Madonna just knows how to play, like, I
- 27:08Speaker 2: seem cuckoo. I'm doing it on purpose. I have no idea.
- 27:11Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 27:12Speaker 1: All I felt like, and I felt this way when
- 27:14Speaker 1: I was at Coachella and she went on stage with
- 27:16Speaker 1: Sabrina Carpenter. She just totally went on stage. She was
- 27:19Speaker 1: supposed to be, it was Sabrina Carpenter's set she was headlining.
- 27:23Speaker 1: And Madonna came out on stage and then all of
- 27:25Speaker 1: a sudden it was the Madonna show.
- 27:28Speaker 3: And I was like, wait, are we here for Sabrina?
- 27:32Speaker 1: No.
- 27:33Speaker 2: And somehow Sabrina got roped into this one too, right?
- 27:36Speaker 1: Exactly. Because it was like best do or whatever. And
- 27:38Speaker 1: like the same thing happened. And I could see Sabrina
- 27:41Speaker 1: being up there being like, Oh no.
- 27:45Speaker 2: But maybe Sabrina's in on it. I don't know. I
- 27:47Speaker 2: don't know what that whole, like my people call back.
- 27:49Speaker 2: I know.
- 27:50Speaker 4: I know.
- 27:51Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 27:54Speaker 5: Well, would I rather watch Madonna's performance or Tom Cruise
- 27:57Speaker 5: go down that hudson line i did i watched the
- 28:03Speaker 5: interview with jennifer hudson and i was like it's very
- 28:05Speaker 5: lovely it seemed too planned i think that's my problem
- 28:09Speaker 5: with it seemed very planned okay yeah i don't know.
- 28:14Speaker 2: If you went down that line.
- 28:15Speaker 3: What would you do i would not know what to
- 28:18Speaker 3: do i would.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Jason ritter knows how to handle it he's real good
- 28:21Speaker 2: at it.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Or um pen badgley Oh yeah, wasn't he the best
- 28:25Speaker 3: one ever?
- 28:26Speaker 2: Wait, I have to re-watch Penn Badgley go down.
- 28:29Speaker 5: Because I feel like he was the best one ever
- 28:32Speaker 5: at it, right?
- 28:32Speaker 2: Oh my God. Now I have to re-watch Penn Badgley.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Hold on, hold on.
- 28:39Speaker 5: I feel like he, oh yeah, dude, he nailed it.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Penn Badgley is the best one ever.
- 28:47Speaker 5: He also has He can dance.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Do you know what I mean?
- 28:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Yeah, his is a winner. His is a... Okay. Also,
- 28:55Speaker 2: Penn Badgley is very hot. Very hot.
- 28:57Speaker 1: He is.
- 28:58Speaker 3: Okay, Penn.
- 29:00Speaker 2: He could have played the Colin Farrell role pretty well.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Oh.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Yes. Oh, my God. Yeah, Penn Badgley can dance. That's
- 29:06Speaker 2: the thing.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Except I don't think she would pick Penn Badgley just because... Oh,
- 29:10Speaker 1: because of the thing.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Oh. Yeah. What did you think of Belmont? I do
- 29:15Speaker 2: not care for the Reebok ad. Here's the thing. I
- 29:18Speaker 2: don't mind the, I just want to dance. I just
- 29:21Speaker 2: want to have fun or whatever that is.
- 29:23Speaker 5: I mean, it was a little cringy with the like
- 29:25Speaker 5: shirt thing, but I was still like, he's hot.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Here's the thing about Belmont.
- 29:29Speaker 5: Did you see him going to the like Paris fashion
- 29:32Speaker 5: and he's wearing the blazer with no shirt under it
- 29:34Speaker 5: and the sunglasses.
- 29:35Speaker 2: I think this is his vibe. What is so funny?
- 29:39Speaker 2: Oh no. Are you watching Belmont's video? Oh, you're watching
- 29:43Speaker 2: Tom Cruise too. I know. Tom Cruise going down the
- 29:47Speaker 2: Hudson thing. He's riding a horse. And it's also like
- 29:49Speaker 2: he's backwards the whole time. Yeah, you can't see him.
- 29:53Speaker 2: The comments are hilarious. You had one job. You need
- 29:55Speaker 2: to come in as the guy from Tropic Thunder. Like,
- 29:57Speaker 2: you know, so I don't know. I didn't, I didn't,
- 30:00Speaker 2: I didn't love the, what do you call that? What
- 30:02Speaker 2: do they call that? The Jennifer Hudson dance? Spirit Tunnel.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Spirit Tunnel, isn't it? Spirit Tunnel. Yeah.
- 30:09Speaker 5: I don't, I'm not like, the Spirit Tunnel, cringes me
- 30:13Speaker 5: out no matter what.
- 30:14Speaker 2: So, okay.
- 30:17Speaker 5: Belmont, the Reebok ad. Here's my critique of the Reebok ad.
- 30:21Speaker 5: The concept is great. I love that he's like the
- 30:24Speaker 5: director and they can't do the dance. And so he's like,
- 30:27Speaker 5: I will go up in my Reeboks and I will
- 30:30Speaker 5: do the dance. What I don't like is the choreography
- 30:33Speaker 5: of the dance he does. And I'm not going to
- 30:35Speaker 5: blame him for that. Now, maybe he signed off on it,
- 30:38Speaker 5: but like I would have liked cool choreography instead of
- 30:41Speaker 5: a lot of this stuff he's doing. And I don't
- 30:44Speaker 5: I'm like, it's too jazz handsy.
- 30:46Speaker 2: I needed a cool. I'd rather have seen that. I
- 30:48Speaker 2: just wanted to have fun. Like I'm giving more Napoleon Dynamite.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Taylor Swift hugging Ella Bright. Why did I like it?
- 30:56Speaker 5: I liked it, though. No, it's Napoleon Dynamite. That's what
- 30:58Speaker 5: a lot of people say. Oh, no, the Reebok ad
- 31:00Speaker 5: is cringe. He's got a couple cringes, but, you know, whatever.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Oh, my God. I, like, totally love it.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Do you love the Reebok ad? I do. Really?
- 31:11Speaker 1: I don't think you can do wrong in my eyes. He's, like,
- 31:15Speaker 1: I'm very much vibing with him right now.
- 31:18Speaker 2: He's fun. He seems like a fun Hank.
- 31:20Speaker 5: He is like sexy and super hot, even in the
- 31:24Speaker 5: blazer with no shirt under it. And the hair is
- 31:27Speaker 5: always a little greasy. And the sunglasses, I'm not mad
- 31:32Speaker 5: at it, but it has a sprinkle of cringe. He's
- 31:37Speaker 5: also like, I'm more kind of Brad Pitt-y rather than Belmont.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Do you know what I'm saying? I'm like, I kind
- 31:43Speaker 2: of like the Brad Pitt look, the Colin Farrell look.
- 31:47Speaker 4: Is this the next generation of like the hot throbs
- 31:51Speaker 4: and all of that?
- 31:52Speaker 5: Wait, so Ella Bright hugging Taylor and then someone found
- 31:57Speaker 5: the picture of Ella Bright like as a little, little kid.
- 31:59Speaker 2: At a Taylor Swift concert? Yeah, she posted it.
- 32:03Speaker 1: There was some interview where they asked her like, who
- 32:05Speaker 1: is one person you just can't be in a room with?
- 32:08Speaker 3: And she was like Taylor Swift.
- 32:10Speaker 2: So she....
- 32:13Speaker 5: I don't want to brag, but two of my friend's
- 32:15Speaker 5: kids were at the VMAs.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Who's the other one?
- 32:18Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. Isabel May.
- 32:20Speaker 5: Her mom is also like a total pal of mine.
- 32:22Speaker 5: And like, wow, these moms have got superstar kids.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Isabel May looked adorable too. Izzy to me, but Isabel
- 32:30Speaker 2: to you all.
- 32:31Speaker 3: Yeah, no, she's super cute.
- 32:33Speaker 5: She looks so cute. I can't wait to see her movie.
- 32:35Speaker 5: But Ella Bright as a little kid, that does look
- 32:38Speaker 5: a lot like her mom. When I first saw that,
- 32:40Speaker 5: I was like, whoa.
- 32:42Speaker 2: They are cute. Ella Bright is so cute. So is
- 32:48Speaker 2: Antonio Cipriano. I'm sorry. Have you heard the version of Babydoll? Yes.
- 32:56Speaker 5: Jamie Miller, Babydoll with Antonio Cipriano should be like having
- 33:03Speaker 5: a huge music career.
- 33:06Speaker 2: I agree.
- 33:06Speaker 4: Maybe he will after off campus or he's going to
- 33:08Speaker 4: have a song or something, you know.
- 33:11Speaker 2: That guy can sing.
- 33:14Speaker 1: I feel like we've only seen this much of him
- 33:16Speaker 1: and he's just going to explode.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree. I agree.
- 33:20Speaker 5: There's somebody else that I meant to be like, wow,
- 33:22Speaker 5: that person can really sing. And now I have forgotten
- 33:25Speaker 5: who that was. When it comes to me, I'll tell you.
- 33:30Speaker 2: So, oh, I just.
- 33:34Speaker 5: Did mention this in our text, but shout out to
- 33:37Speaker 5: Aviator Nation for their amazing NFL collab.
- 33:40Speaker 2: I've ordered quite a number of sweatshirts. My Rams gear
- 33:44Speaker 2: is ready to go.
- 33:45Speaker 3: The big ones.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Every team. Every team. And I ordered Rams and 49ers.
- 33:49Speaker 2: I'm torn. But like, I was just like, am I
- 33:52Speaker 2: a Raiders fan too? Because the sweatshirt is so cute.
- 33:55Speaker 2: I was just like, can I be everybody's? Yeah.
- 34:00Speaker 3: No, the sweatshirt's cute.
- 34:02Speaker 2: I like it. Really cute. Oh, okay.
- 34:05Speaker 5: I think we've put a pin in the iced coffee
- 34:08Speaker 5: debate by... Gen X winning and saying, Gen Z, don't
- 34:12Speaker 5: bring that in.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Right? Exactly. I feel like we've got a pin in that.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Right into the interview, yeah.
- 34:17Speaker 5: Did you see the Instagram thing I sent you of
- 34:20Speaker 5: the lady who went into her car and there was
- 34:22Speaker 5: a mouse in her coffee cup?
- 34:24Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Yes. I could not.
- 34:26Speaker 3: It felt very you because I feel like this happens
- 34:28Speaker 3: to you often.
- 34:28Speaker 5: Well, because I am so terrified of rodents like rats
- 34:31Speaker 5: and mice. I literally, truly mean this. Walking down the
- 34:35Speaker 5: street and I can see a bear and I'm chill
- 34:38Speaker 5: as can be. Any kind of mouse. I don't know
- 34:43Speaker 5: what to do other than call 911.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Oh my God, by the.
- 34:45Speaker 5: Way, I watched in the line of fire, Peter Krause's show.
- 34:49Speaker 2: How was that? I'm going to tell you the honest answer. Oh,
- 34:53Speaker 2: and also I've got a good sandwich story.
- 34:57Speaker 5: So when I first started watching the first say 15
- 35:00Speaker 5: minutes of the episode, I was kind of like, I
- 35:03Speaker 5: don't know.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Like I was not, it wasn't bad. It just wasn't great.
- 35:10Speaker 2: it really kicks in. And there are multiple twists, multiple
- 35:15Speaker 2: twists that have me hooked. And I'm going to go
- 35:17Speaker 2: watch episode two, like probably tonight. It's good.
- 35:21Speaker 5: I knew Peter Krause was not going to do a
- 35:24Speaker 5: show that was not good. And Hope Davis too. And
- 35:27Speaker 5: you know, Jenna Bush is like one.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Of the producers. Yes. Yes. She promotes on Today Show.
- 35:31Speaker 5: So the first 15 minutes are kind of like, I
- 35:34Speaker 5: guess they have to exist for you to appreciate the twists.
- 35:38Speaker 5: There are two major twists in episode one.
- 35:42Speaker 2: I'm in. I started watching Monster, the Lizzie Borden story.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Is this the new Ryan Murphy monster? Yes. Okay, give
- 35:50Speaker 2: me the, what is the Lizzie Borden story? Back in
- 35:53Speaker 2: the late 1800s, Lizzie Borden axed her parents. 1800s? Late 1800s.
- 35:59Speaker 5: So murder has been around for so long.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Yes.
- 36:03Speaker 4: So I've heard of her and they've actually turned the house-
- 36:07Speaker 4: That happened? I don't think so, because it was in Massachusetts.
- 36:09Speaker 4: But they've turned the house that actually happened in real
- 36:13Speaker 4: life into a museum.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Like the Winchester Mystery House type of thing?
- 36:17Speaker 5: Yes, yes.
- 36:17Speaker 2: First castle? Yes, you can go to these rooms where
- 36:21Speaker 2: it happened. Do you like going to places where a
- 36:25Speaker 2: murder happened?
- 36:26Speaker 4: No, I would never go to Lizzie Borden, but I
- 36:28Speaker 4: have been to Winchester.
- 36:29Speaker 2: But that's not murdery, right? Winchester's no. It's just weird tunnels.
- 36:33Speaker 2: It's like haunted or something, yeah. Yeah, like weird doorways
- 36:35Speaker 2: that lead to nothing. Oh. Is it claustrophobic-y though? I
- 36:39Speaker 2: don't know if I would like that.
- 36:40Speaker 4: I don't recall it being claustrophobic-y. I went when I
- 36:43Speaker 4: was like a teenager. But yeah, it's really like the
- 36:48Speaker 4: first scene, if you watch, it's the first scene.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Who stars in it? It shows the murder. It shows
- 36:55Speaker 2: the murder right out the gate. John Hale. Charlie Hunnam. Oh.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Charlie Hunnam. Let me get my ears checked. But literally
- 37:04Speaker 2: when you said, I thought you said Jon Hamm. I'm like,
- 37:06Speaker 2: how is Jon Hamm on every show? Charlie Hunnam. He's
- 37:09Speaker 2: that babe. Rebecca Hall. Yeah, Rebecca Hall. I don't know
- 37:12Speaker 2: who Rebecca Hall is right at the moment.
- 37:14Speaker 4: And then the Lizzie Borden, I forget her name, but
- 37:17Speaker 4: she's very doll.
- 37:18Speaker 2: So like you give it, you're watching, you're going to
- 37:20Speaker 2: keep going. Yeah, but it took me two days to
- 37:22Speaker 2: get through the first episode.
- 37:24Speaker 3: And it's very creepy and weird and strange.
- 37:26Speaker 2: I know.
- 37:26Speaker 5: I have a hard time with American Horror Story. It
- 37:29Speaker 5: scares me a little bit.
- 37:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm scared a little bit. That show from scares
- 37:32Speaker 2: me too. I can only watch it during the day.
- 37:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:35Speaker 2: But it's hard for me to get through it because
- 37:36Speaker 2: I literally have to watch it in the middle of
- 37:38Speaker 2: that kind of stuff.
- 37:39Speaker 5: So, yeah, I'm watching Fear the Walking Dead and I
- 37:40Speaker 5: can I literally went to bed at 2 a.m. last
- 37:42Speaker 5: night and a full zombie just was like on my
- 37:45Speaker 5: TV screen.
- 37:45Speaker 2: I'm like, it's fine.
- 37:47Speaker 3: How does that not scare you? But American Horror Story does.
- 37:50Speaker 2: How? I don't know. I think sometimes I can't explain things.
- 37:55Speaker 4: Is it because what scares me is like when there's
- 37:57Speaker 4: real supernatural stuff and.
- 37:59Speaker 2: Like the capabilities of humans. And I know we're not
- 38:00Speaker 2: in the zombie apocalypse right now. Exactly.
- 38:03Speaker 5: So I know that a zombie is not going to
- 38:05Speaker 5: pop out from under my bed right now.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Versus like.
- 38:08Speaker 5: Just like why I don't mind shark movies. Because I'm like,
- 38:12Speaker 5: I'm not in the ocean right now.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 38:15Speaker 4: It's like versus somebody who could potentially do this and
- 38:18Speaker 4: kill their parents.
- 38:19Speaker 2: Right.
- 38:19Speaker 5: I'm not going to watch when mice and rats kill.
- 38:24Speaker 5: because there is one in my attic and I hear it.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Oh God. Yeah. It's really bad. I think, I think
- 38:30Speaker 2: we've got it under control.
- 38:31Speaker 5: I have a terrible feeling that there might be something
- 38:33Speaker 5: up right in here because you know, like my ears
- 38:36Speaker 5: are real mouse ready.
- 38:38Speaker 2: They're really triggered to hear it. Just even a tiny
- 38:43Speaker 2: pitter patter. I literally go, what was that? Oh, scary, scary, scary. Oh,
- 38:49Speaker 2: But yeah, I would recommend it. It's good acting. I
- 38:51Speaker 2: didn't mind Charlie Hunnam in it. My list, I got
- 38:53Speaker 2: my printout. Oh, yes. I'm busy, guys. Busy. My printout
- 39:00Speaker 2: of 100 best shows. And I have a lot of
- 39:03Speaker 2: problems with this list. A lot of problems. Yeah. Yeah.
- 39:07Speaker 5: Separately, though, I have now found a sandwich that I'm
- 39:10Speaker 5: going to give an 8.5 to. So, you know, I
- 39:13Speaker 5: think I've talked about it. My quest to find the
- 39:15Speaker 5: perfect deli sandwich.
- 39:16Speaker 1: So.
- 39:19Speaker 2: You know, I.
- 39:21Speaker 5: Could say I'm going all over California, but I'm focused
- 39:24Speaker 5: pretty northern California right now. And I went to the,
- 39:27Speaker 5: you know, Marie cheese and I went to dimension. and
- 39:30Speaker 5: everyone said, those are the ones. No, I sometimes give
- 39:34Speaker 5: those a five. I've now tried brass bear deli in Danville.
- 39:39Speaker 5: It might be technically Alamo, very close to where the
- 39:42Speaker 5: Gilmore girls thing is happening.
- 39:42Speaker 2: 8.5.
- 39:45Speaker 5: I had an 8.5 of a sandwich. Now I got
- 39:48Speaker 5: to go back and do it again.
- 39:49Speaker 3: Are you getting the same thing at all the locations?
- 39:51Speaker 2: No soggy bread. The bread was not soggy.
- 39:54Speaker 5: The bread, it's all about the bread, but it's also,
- 39:57Speaker 5: they have a sign in the Brass Bear Deli that
- 39:59Speaker 5: says like, we only use the best meats.
- 40:02Speaker 2: I agree.
- 40:03Speaker 5: I agree, Brass Bear Deli. The meat was great. Look,
- 40:05Speaker 5: I created a great sandwich. I took some liberties because
- 40:09Speaker 5: I normally do not do salami, but I think one
- 40:11Speaker 5: of the problems was that I needed a little something
- 40:14Speaker 5: to the turkey. So I did turkey with a tiny
- 40:18Speaker 5: bit of salami, lettuce, mayonnaise, mustard, pickles on the sourdough roll.
- 40:22Speaker 2: 8.5.
- 40:23Speaker 5: And like, look, I don't know if I'm going to
- 40:26Speaker 5: find a 10. So 8.5 is super high.
- 40:30Speaker 2: That sounds good. Anybody have another? Anybody in LA? Give
- 40:33Speaker 2: me any... Where's your 8.5?
- 40:36Speaker 3: Mike's Deli in LA. When you come down to LA.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Where's Mike's Deli? It is.
- 40:41Speaker 3: I cannot tell you the streets.
- 40:44Speaker 5: Is it better than the one that Eileen always gets
- 40:47Speaker 5: us that I have the names on my head?
- 40:50Speaker 2: I don't. I like that one. Although they did have
- 40:52Speaker 2: an issue. They got like a C. What was it
- 40:55Speaker 2: called though? What's it called?
- 40:57Speaker 3: No, no, no. She's talking about... Bay cities.
- 41:01Speaker 5: I hate it.
- 41:02Speaker 2: And I'm going to give Bay cities pretty high marks. Yeah. Well,
- 41:06Speaker 2: look to each their own. Talk to me.
- 41:08Speaker 1: I feel like when I get a Bay city sandwich,
- 41:11Speaker 1: I have to chew it for 50 hours.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Before it's all over.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Sometimes like a bad piece of steak.
- 41:16Speaker 3: It's just like, I just, it's too much. It's too much.
- 41:23Speaker 2: I make really good sandwiches at home. And so I
- 41:25Speaker 2: don't really go out to eat sandwiches because my sandwiches
- 41:27Speaker 2: are always better. Oh, because you are a home sandwich connoisseur.
- 41:29Speaker 2: I am a sandwich queen at home. What do you
- 41:30Speaker 2: make at home? What do you do at home? And
- 41:32Speaker 2: what kind of bread? Where do we get this bread?
- 41:33Speaker 2: I put mayonnaise on when you toast your bread. Oh,
- 41:36Speaker 2: the bread is just from frozen bread. I don't like
- 41:37Speaker 2: warm sandwiches. Oh, okay. It's okay. Keep telling them. I
- 41:41Speaker 2: put mayo on both sides. Yes. Okay.
- 41:44Speaker 1: So my husband told me that the trick to a
- 41:46Speaker 1: good grilled cheese is you put mayo on the outside
- 41:48Speaker 1: and that's what you, instead of butter.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Yeah. Instead of butter. I do that. Why do they
- 41:53Speaker 2: do that on the TikTok? Scratchy, scratchy, scratchy. Like, why
- 41:56Speaker 2: is that supposed to be so ASMR? Like, it's weird.
- 42:01Speaker 2: They're like, scratchy, scratchy. Okay. So what do you put
- 42:05Speaker 2: in there? Oh, I also toast the meat. Like it's
- 42:09Speaker 2: normally ham. Oh, I don't like, I don't care. I
- 42:12Speaker 2: don't do warm meat. That's so cool. Sometimes I grill
- 42:15Speaker 2: the onions. Yeah, I like warm sandwiches. I don't like
- 42:19Speaker 2: cold sandwiches. Yeah, I don't do warm deli meat. That's gross.
- 42:23Speaker 3: Amy, when you come back down to LA, I'll take
- 42:25Speaker 3: you to Mike's.
- 42:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll do that. Where is it? What part of town?
- 42:27Speaker 2: It's Boston.
- 42:28Speaker 3: I think it's Englewood-ish.
- 42:30Speaker 2: I think that's great. It's like kind of near your house,
- 42:34Speaker 2: between your house and my house. Trust me. Would we
- 42:37Speaker 2: hit that before we go to the forum? Yes.
- 42:39Speaker 3: When I used to live in Santa Monica, I used
- 42:41Speaker 3: to drive all the way to it to get it.
- 42:42Speaker 2: I'm obsessed. I get it. So would that be something
- 42:44Speaker 2: we should eat at Jingle Ball for lunch? Yes. Ooh. Okay, great. Ooh, yay.
- 42:48Speaker 2: I'm going to try. Delicious. De-lish. Wow. I love it. Okay, fine. Look,
- 42:55Speaker 2: Brass Bear Deli, 8.5. So you've got to impress. Let's
- 42:58Speaker 2: do it. And that's the news. And that's the news?
- 43:01Speaker 2: Is this the news? No, this isn't the news.
- 43:04Speaker 5: No.
- 43:04Speaker 2: No.
- 43:10Speaker 3: And thanks for listening because you wanted to.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Bye-bye.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Sing your little song. Sing your little song.
- 43:15Speaker 3: Oh, I can't recreate that.
- 43:17Speaker 5: You're like, listen, because you wanted to.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Listen. Listen. Listen.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Isn't that a Jennifer Hudson song?
- 43:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it was in Glee, too, I think. Oh, yeah,
- 43:32Speaker 2: it was in like... What was that? Dreamgirls? Dreamgirls? Listen. Listen. Yes.
- 43:35Speaker 4: I've only seen Dreamgirls once.
- 43:39Speaker 1: There's a sound within my heart.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Is that the word? I don't think that's the word.
- 43:43Speaker 2: I think that's how it goes.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Bye.
- 43:46Speaker 2: Bye. Bye.
