  Andchildrenwith autismoften don'tsleep verywell.

  Andsohewouldoftenwakeupat2or 3inthemorning.AndTamarawas functioningonvery,verylittlesleepforareally,really,reallylongtime.Andsowe hadalittlepillowandblanketthatwetuckedunderhisbedsothat ifmyhusbandor Ihad togoinandkeephiminhis room,wetrainedhimthathehadtostaythereuntil hisclocksaidsix.And sowe wouldjustlay byhis bedto keep himhappyandthereforas longasittookbecausewe neededhimtolearnto staythereuntil hisclocksaidsix.Andsousuallywhen hewokeup, hewasvery content tojust sitandtalk tohimself and giggleandlaughandstufflikethat.Wewouldjust layon the floorandtry to sleepforafewmoreminutesin betweenhislittlelaughs andgiggles.Butthisoneparticularnight,hewokeupandhewascryinguncontrollably.And we triedmedicine,wetriedblessings, wetriedprayers,wetriedeverythingwecould thinkof tohelphimcalmdown,and nothingwasworking.AndI

  remember, hourafterhour,thisvigilthattookplace.Andafterhearingsomeone cryforsolong,youkindofhitthe pointwhere you'relike,yournervesare frayed.And Iremember going down and switchingplaceswithmyhusbandatone point,becauseIwasnotdealingwithlifeverywellatthatmoment,andI didn'twantto becomeangry.Andso Igot,like, anhour moresleepbeforehehadtoleave for work.And.Andthenhe swappedplaceswithme again.Andsoherewe are.It's probablyabout fiveinthemorningatthis point,andhe'sjuststillcryinguncontrollably.

  AndIrememberkneelingdownandjusttellingGodwithmywholeheart,Ihavedone everythingthatI knowhow to do.We'vetrieddifferenttacticsandtricks,andnothing.

  Iamjustsodesperateat thispointto help this sweetboycalm down.Andthewhisper came,tamara,prayforangels.AndIwaslike,okay.Andso Iliterallyprayedforeverydeceased ancestor Icouldthinkof.

  You know,Grandmaand grandpaonbothsidesofthefamily,greatgrandmasandgrandpas.I mean, Iwas invokinghalfof theheavenlyangelsdownintothatlittlebedroom.Andthesweetest spiritdescendedinthatroom.Andnot only diditcalmhim,but it calmedme.Ooh,ladies,canyoufeelthat?

  Canyou feel how hardit wasto learn thatlessonandhowI'mso happyto shareitwithyounow.ThewhisperIgot wasvery specific, pray forangels.AndIdid.Andamiraclehappened,right?We're goingtonowtakethat principleandapplyita differentway.

  We'regoingto prayforspecificangels.So sincethen,I havelearnedto pray evenmorespecifically.

  I have twin boys, and they were in just a little.

  Kind of a little league thing, starting baseball for the first year.

  And when they were at a game, and my mama heart went out to them because they just kept swinging and missing and swinging and missing and swinging and missing.

  And they.

  I could just see the discouragement in both of them, and it was just so strong and so heavy.

  And I thought, I wish that they could just have one little hit just.

  Just to encourage them and to help them.

  As I was sitting in the stands, I thought, could the Lord know and understand a mom's prayer right now?

  And maybe this is a time for me to ask for specific help.

  And I knew, and I had been hearing and reading and learning about.

  You need to be specific.

  If you want a specific answer, you have to ask to have a specific prayer.

  And so I thought, okay.

  My great uncle, he was in the minor leagues.
• 8:09
  He played for a major baseball team.
• 8:12
  But I thought, oh, Uncle Earl would totally know how to help my boys because he was a baseball player.

  And so I just said a quick prayer in my heart.

  I just said, heavenly Father, could you bless Uncle Earl to come and help my boys to have one small success just to help them with their discouragement and their heaviness?

  And shortly after that, they both went up to bat and they both had a hit.

  So much so that I have a.
• 8:38
  I have one of the son.
• 8:39
  He's still in baseball, and he plays baseball now.

  For his high school team.
• 8:45
  I've never forgotten that prayer that was answered.

  Isn't that beautiful?

  I love this description in Hebrews chapter one, verse 14 that says, speaking of angels, are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

  Isn't that what these specific angels do?

  They minister to us in our moments of heaviness, in our moments of struggle.

  They are a beautiful, positive weapon we can use when life is hard, when life is heavy.

  We're going to conclude with a couple of beautiful Bible verses.

  First is the one found in Psalm 91:11 that says, for he shall give his angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways.

  This is why God sends angels so that you're not alone and that they can help carry the burdens that we so often carry.

  Isn't that beautiful?

  Another beautiful verse found in First Timothy where Paul is counseling Timothy.

  In First Timothy, chapter 4, verse 14, where Paul counsels Timothy something beautiful Neglect not the gift that is in thee, the gift that God places in our mind and in our heart, the gift to call upon angels.

  Ladies, this is one of the gifts that we can call upon ministering angels to be with us, to stand by us, to help us to overcome obstacles.
