- 3:28That's how you join the room. So you don't need to keep asking
- 3:32me whenever I'm doing my show. All right, so today we're going
- 3:36to talk about something that atheists have put me through for
- 3:41years. I don't know if it's that
- 3:44they're deliberately misrepresenting me or
- 3:47mischaracterizing me or it's just that they're downright
- 3:51stupid and uneducated. I really can't tell the
- 3:54difference. Some of them, they do come off
- 3:57extremely stupid and do not seem to comprehend where I come from
- 4:02on theology. One of the big accusations that
- 4:05are made is that they say Brett Keene is flip-flopped.
- 4:08He's been in Christianity a dozen times and then became an
- 4:13atheist a dozen times and blah, blah, blah.
- 4:17None of that is true. It isn't even close to true.
- 4:20Let me make the screen a little bit bigger for you all to be
- 4:23able to see some of this that I'm putting on the screen, and
- 4:26I'll get to the point of what you see on the screen in a
- 4:29moment. I was a Christian whenever I was
- 4:33a child. My mother, although she had
- 4:35mental illness and she was also disabled, she liked to attend
- 4:40church and I got educated from Baptist preachers, Pentecostal
- 4:45preachers, all kinds of stuff. Now you're probably wondering
- 4:49yourself, well, Brett, why did you, well, you know, attend all
- 4:53kinds of different churches and all that, even Catholicism.
- 4:57I've been in every kind of church that you can imagine.
- 4:59I even, my mother even took an interest in Jehovah Witnesses,
- 5:03Mormons, you name it. I've seen and been a part of it
- 5:07all, at least for a little bit. For some more committed was my
- 5:12mother to others, Well, eventually my mother got too
- 5:17sick to be able to take care of me and she lost custody over me.
- 5:21And the government came in and they took me as well as my
- 5:24siblings, and they put us in foster homes and residential
- 5:28homes and all this. We moved around a lot because of
- 5:32this. A lot of these foster homes were
- 5:34also religious based or spiritual, so I got to attend
- 5:38their churches. I wasn't invited.
- 5:42I didn't volunteer for it, but I was a kid and I was made to go
- 5:47and it was one of the reasons why my anger started to build up
- 5:50towards religion and the church and organizations like it.
- 5:55It this. Although I learned a lot about
- 5:58all these different faiths and what they were talking about, I
- 6:01also unfortunately ran into a lot of hypocrisy.
- 6:05I ran into a lot of bad characters.
- 6:10I ran into people who tried to manipulate me, take advantage of
- 6:14me. Some of them actually tried to
- 6:16physically abuse me and it made me angry.
- 6:20And then later on in my teenage life, I ended up questioning my
- 6:25position on is there a God? Is religion correct?
- 6:30But still, there's a God. There was a lot of things going
- 6:34through my head, and I think that a lot, there's a lot of
- 6:36atheists out there who probably had a similar experience, at
- 6:41least in the thought process category of what I'm talking
- 6:45about, where you were once a believer.
- 6:48You believed there was something out there, you just wasn't sure
- 6:51exactly how to describe it to yourself or explain.
- 6:55You just had this feeling that there was something that started
- 6:59it all. Every time you looked up at the
- 7:01universe or you looked at the sky, you were in awe whenever
- 7:05you tried to compare your own size and your own value to
- 7:11existence itself. Well, that's exactly what I went
- 7:14through whenever I was a young person.
- 7:17And for a while there I it took me a long time to give up on the
- 7:21concept of God and go fool our nihilistic atheist.
- 7:26It was actually a a really difficult and painful to make
- 7:31that move. Why?
- 7:33Because whenever I was a kid, God was a security blanket for
- 7:37me. And what I mean by that is I
- 7:39don't know if you ever seen Charlie Brown and Lucy and all
- 7:42that, but there's this little character in the Peanut Show
- 7:46where he carries around a blanket that makes him feel safe
- 7:50and warm. And that's how I kind of seen
- 7:52God whenever I was a kid. I was ignorant, I was immature
- 7:56in a lot of ways. I was smart.
- 7:58I was street smart and intelligent.
- 8:01But whenever it came to the concept of God, I seen God the
- 8:05way atheists kind of described him nowadays, as some kind of
- 8:09giant humanoid that exists in the cosmos, some kind of space
- 8:14wizard or cosmic friend who liked me and all that and cared
- 8:20about my life. And when you imagine that
- 8:24something like that actually exists, it brings you a lot of a
- 8:28lot of good feelings. It makes you not feel alone and
- 8:33being a kid that was jumping from place to place and having
- 8:36no real connection with my family, not being able to keep
- 8:40friends because I was constantly moving all over the place.
- 8:44That was the only consistent thing in my life was the concept
- 8:48of God and my weird little childish immature idea of what
- 8:54or perspective of what God was. Well, what ended up happened
- 9:01eventually is after tragedy after tragedy, after being too
- 9:06too many funerals, seeing too much suffering and watching the
- 9:10damn news too much more than any human being should watch and
- 9:15seeing things right in front of my observation of humans killing
- 9:20each other. I've actually seen people kill
- 9:23other people before. I've seen people hurt other
- 9:26people. I've seen people hospitalized.
- 9:30IA long time ago. Was forced into a fight with
- 9:33someone and I didn't intentionally mean to.
- 9:37I was defending myself and a friend of mine against a group
- 9:40of thugs, and I ended up hitting someone so hard that they ended
- 9:44up in the hospital and had to get their eye worked on.
- 9:49It's something I'll never forget.
- 9:50It's something that haunts me because I never had the desire
- 9:54to hurt or harm anybody. But that was an incident that
- 9:58happened. So as I became a teenager, I
- 10:02looked around on the Internet when the Internet was finally
- 10:06something that actually existed or was accessible.
- 10:08At the time, I was using a slow modem and I was trying to figure
- 10:13out what I was who, who was I. I wasn't just trying to figure
- 10:18out what faith or religion I should be a part of.
- 10:21I was trying to figure out me. I was trying to understand who I
- 10:25was as a person, what my identity was, who do I want to
- 10:31be at this point in my life? I hadn't made so many terrible
- 10:36mistakes. I still had different directions
- 10:38I could go, and I wanted to build on to that, to be the
- 10:43person I wanted to eventually be.
- 10:47Well, so I ended up giving up Christianity, but it was a
- 10:51struggle. There was a moment where I held
- 10:54to this idea that maybe there is a God, but he's just not
- 10:59interactive. So I didn't know what a title
- 11:03for that was. When you're a teenager, you
- 11:05don't know all the fancy words that they use to describe things
- 11:09like that. So I looked into the Internet
- 11:12and I found out that there was a concept called deism, which
- 11:16means that basically there is a God, but he's off busy watching
- 11:20reruns of The X-Files to do anything about the earth.
- 11:23It's like he got the ball rolling and then walked away
- 11:28from it and let humans basically be the insanity of their own
- 11:32invention. That was all fine and dandy, but
- 11:37I kept on running into people who claimed to have spiritual
- 11:40experiences, people who claimed to experience miracles, people
- 11:46who said that God actually worked through them and changed
- 11:52their life. Well that doesn't coincide with
- 11:54Deism if if God is actually doing this and there's millions
- 11:59of people on the planet who are claiming this which aren't.
- 12:03If you look on the Internet there is literally millions of
- 12:06people who are claiming these extraordinary things have
- 12:10happened to them. Some people claim they died and
- 12:13seen visions and returned. Some people claim that through a
- 12:17dream they get were given revelation, kind of like some of
- 12:21the figures of the Bible. There were people who said they
- 12:28could have died had they not heard a voice in their head that
- 12:32told them to take a left instead of a right, which they had
- 12:37planned on going down the road that would lead to their death
- 12:40or endless suffering. So deism wasn't fitting.
- 12:46Why is it that there's so many people, although there's
- 12:49hypocrites, and although you have to weigh in that there's
- 12:52insane people who see things that aren't there or hear
- 12:56things, you have a choice. You can either say, sure, there
- 13:00are some crazy people out there. There's even people who will lie
- 13:03and manipulate just so they can fill collection bowls.
- 13:07But there's also people out there that are for real.
- 13:10They're sincere, they're good people, and they're not trying
- 13:13to play anybody out and they're not asking for anything.
- 13:17In fact, they're the type of people that would get the shirt
- 13:19off their back. So I had to really step back on
- 13:23that and say, OK, so maybe God is interactive.
- 13:27He's just not interactive with some.
- 13:30And this took me down a really bad Rd. because it made me
- 13:34believe that God might favor some and not love everybody.
- 13:39I started thinking, why is it that this person over here has
- 13:43all this good stuff happening and then they're a total
- 13:46asshole? Why is it that some women will
- 13:50bring children into the world and then throw the baby's body
- 13:53into a damn dumpster for rats in the freezing cold of winter, but
- 13:58another woman who is a Christian woman who wants a baby, wants to
- 14:03be a mother? She can't, and it's killing her
- 14:07and her husband. These things did not make sense
- 14:11to me. I didn't understand why terrible
- 14:14people got good things and why good people got horrible things.
- 14:21So I would go back in that Bible and I would read and I would try
- 14:24to figure out what is the deal here.
- 14:29And then you start reading passages like It Rains on the
- 14:32just and the Unjust. You read passages about how
- 14:36almost every hero, every person who was close to God or
- 14:40associated with God or spoke directly to God would eventually
- 14:45end up dead or having everything taken from them.
- 14:49The book of Job is a perfect example of a man who did
- 14:53everything right. It even says right in the 1st
- 14:56chapter he was upright with God, yet everything was taken from
- 15:00him. In the end.
- 15:02He eventually got even more back, but still the fact that
- 15:06there was a moment of feeling of betrayal or abandonment or the
- 15:11fact that you're a guy or a woman who's bending over
- 15:14backwards, doing everything that you think that is right in your
- 15:17faith and still being crushed under foot like a serpent.
- 15:22It's devastating. And it's a lot of people that
- 15:25have had to go through that. So there's, oh, I understand
- 15:33that a lot of atheists out there, you don't think this
- 15:35deeply about it. You don't care.
- 15:37You look at religion as some kind of storybook or or some
- 15:41kind of characters in a comic book like The Avengers or
- 15:44something. So you don't care enough to
- 15:47actually take the time to say I want to look into this.
- 15:52I want to see if there's any redeeming value to this
- 15:56philosophy or the stance or position.
- 15:59But as a non believer, I had this unique desire and ambition,
- 16:05at least for myself, to want to know what was true and what was
- 16:10right. And to be fair, I don't believe
- 16:13a lot of you actually care. I don't believe that there's
- 16:15some religious people that actually care about the truth
- 16:18about God. I think there's some people
- 16:21where you're like me when I was a child, you just wanted a
- 16:25security blanket. And maybe you're like me.
- 16:27Whenever I was having my bad atheist days where I just didn't
- 16:31care. Sometimes I just didn't care.
- 16:34I didn't want to hear about it. I didn't want to take the time
- 16:37to look. There were days where I was like
- 16:39that, but there was other days where I hungered for the truth.
- 16:43I hungered for the facts, and I was willing to walk into a
- 16:47lion's den in order to be able to find it, even if it meant
- 16:51that I was going to bleed or be bitten in the process.
- 16:56So after a lot of looking, I realized that in God's way, He
- 17:01helps everybody. I believe that simply because
- 17:06God exists is the reason why all of us exist, and that in itself
- 17:11is a miracle. We wouldn't be breathing right
- 17:14now if God didn't breathe life into US.
- 17:18I started realizing when I started looking at the little
- 17:21things in life and on all of its purposes and reasons that these
- 17:28are all miracles. It's just that we take it for
- 17:31granted. We don't cherish the little
- 17:34things and the fact that we actually weigh things and put
- 17:38them in contrast and compare things and say this is what
- 17:42we'll value is a big thing and what we value is a little thing.
- 17:46It's one of the reasons why we screw ourselves up so bad.
- 17:49It's also one of the reasons why a lot of our relationships in
- 17:52life don't work out because we say this person is better than
- 17:57this person or this person's a better friend than this person.
- 18:01And we don't just take people as they are, as the human beings
- 18:06with the flaws that they have. I think that's one of the
- 18:10reasons why Jesus says that we should love everyone and try to
- 18:15do unto others we want done unto ourselves.
- 18:18There's people out there that I completely condemned in my heart
- 18:23and in my mind, and then for some reason I give them an
- 18:26opportunity and they end up proving me wrong and showing me
- 18:31that they're a lot better than what I gave them credit for to
- 18:34begin with. It happens, it happens, and
- 18:38there's some people who've done the complete opposite.
- 18:42So then I looked in the pantheism, and pantheism was
- 18:47something even nowadays, I adopted him to my Christian
- 18:51faith. I believe that pantheism and
- 18:54Christianity actually coincide. This may bother some religious
- 18:59folks out there. It shouldn't if you pay
- 19:01attention and actually read. But it's the belief that the
- 19:05universe and God are identical. Divinity is inherent in all
- 19:10things. If you think about it, in order
- 19:13for God to be omniscient everywhere at all times and all
- 19:17knowing, then he would have to be all around us.
- 19:21And it makes sense that God is God and the universe are an
- 19:26extension of one another. The very fact that there is
- 19:31existence in creation, I believe that God is part of all of it.
- 19:35He's the beginning and the end, the alpha, the Omega.
- 19:39I think that God repeatedly tells us in the Bible that he is
- 19:43what is being explained in pantheism, that He's connected
- 19:46through all things. He's actually a part of us.
- 19:50He's within us and we are within him.
- 19:52That's how it's described biblically.
- 19:55So I get the impression this is how he knows us all the way down
- 19:58to our very hair and DNA and genetics.
- 20:02This is how He knows us even as we're in the womb and knows us
- 20:06whenever we're in our grave. So I adopted pantheism.
- 20:12That's something I've held on to a long time.
- 20:15And I believe that you can be a Christian pantheist.
- 20:19You can say, Yep, that that works.
- 20:22I also believe that you can adopt some philosophy from other
- 20:25religions is where some Christians out there, unless it
- 20:31has the word Christian branded, darn it, they won't accept it.
- 20:36Sorry about that. I got a a bone in my throat.
- 20:40They won't accept it unless it's actually branded Christianity or
- 20:45they can find it in 5 minutes in the Bible.
- 20:49But pantheism is definitely a view that I hold whenever it
- 20:54comes to the concept of God. Some Christians don't believe in
- 20:58The Big Bang. I believe in The Big Bang.
- 21:01I think that it's a terrible word used for it.
- 21:04The description of The Big Bang is God creating space-time and
- 21:08matter. Science says that it came from
- 21:10nothing. Obviously that's illogical,
- 21:13that's irrational, and it's not. It's something Einstein would
- 21:16have laughed at, thinking that people were stupid enough to
- 21:20view anything at all scientifically coming from
- 21:24nothingness. So pantheism?
- 21:30I suppose you could actually argue in a way Deism for some
- 21:35might make sense because you could say, well, God interacts
- 21:38with some and God doesn't with others.
- 21:40But I don't believe that's the case.
- 21:42I believe that God can actually control time.
- 21:45And I think that when we, let me put it this way, this is going
- 21:50to be weird for people. We live the existence in a
- 21:56linear pattern. What this means is everything
- 21:59for us is a forward event or experience, all right.
- 22:05But for God, if you were to imagine him being a figure and
- 22:10we are inside of a simulation or a monitor, or we're inside of a
- 22:14screen and God is on the outside of it, for him time has no
- 22:20contrast with the time that's going on in the monitor.
- 22:23Like for instance, have you ever played a video game where maybe
- 22:27* Field or Fallout or Oblivion or Skyrim, and it seems like it
- 22:33turns day and night really quickly.
- 22:35Time passes very quickly and fluently in those games.
- 22:39Well, imagine that you are the figure that's within the game.
- 22:43Time moves for you, but for God, he can pause it anytime he
- 22:49wants, put in cheat codes, mods and plug insurance and do
- 22:53whatever the hell he wants at any given time.
- 22:56And if he doesn't like what the hell is going on, he could
- 22:59actually return to an older save.
- 23:01I know some religious people. They just said they're going to
- 23:05go, what the hell are you talking about, old man?
- 23:08But I, yeah, I think that it's actually set up in such a way
- 23:13where just because we think something horrible or a tragedy
- 23:17happened, do you realize that the world could have ended 100
- 23:22million times already? That the end of humanity could
- 23:27have happened a billion times over, but God could have easily
- 23:31just went back in time or recovered the save and went back
- 23:36and changed something that happened and you'd never know
- 23:39because you're always looking forward.
- 23:42You don't know what is actually around you, what is happening in
- 23:45the past. Sometimes your vision is so
- 23:48narrow you don't even know what's going on in the present.
- 23:51But God can control and affect the universe at any time.
- 23:56Isn't that neat? Imagine that you died 10,000
- 24:01times but God wasn't wanting you to be dead so he could just
- 24:06simply replace or re change everything that happened within
- 24:11that event to make it to where you do now.
- 24:15Some people might think that's insane but you need to realize
- 24:18how does God know everything? How can he understand things?
- 24:22If he does know everything then surely God would know how to
- 24:26exist in the past, present and future.
- 24:28He claims to be the alpha mega beginning and end.
- 24:34OK, so let's let's move on. If anybody wants to talk to me
- 24:38more about that, we can get into that.
- 24:40That's a topic I could go on for months and years about.
- 24:45That's something I thought about.
- 24:46Did you know that there's a religion out there that actually
- 24:52coincides with religion and atheism at the same time?
- 24:58And you're probably thinking, how is it possible they're the
- 25:00complete opposite of each other? Theism is about believing in
- 25:04God, and atheism is about lacking the belief in God.
- 25:08But there is no God. Well, according to this
- 25:12religion, I forget what the word was, it's got this really big
- 25:15fancy word to it, but it goes like this.
- 25:20God created the universe, but how he created it was the catch.
- 25:28This is the thing that really will blow your mind, that at
- 25:32some point in time, this powerful being created the
- 25:37universe by destroying itself and its essence and its remains
- 25:42basically, through cosmic dismemberment, actually created
- 25:47the entire universe. All of its parts, all of its
- 25:51life, all of its power and energy was what constructed the
- 25:55universe. However, in doing so, it
- 25:59actually killed God permanently. Now this doesn't quite coincide
- 26:04with Christianity, obviously, because Christianity believes in
- 26:08a God that can return back to life.
- 26:11But this religion believed that God actually sacrificed himself
- 26:15permanently so we could live like a mother with cancer who's
- 26:22pregnant, where her last push is to push you into the world and
- 26:27give away her own existence in the process.
- 26:31And then that religion, unfortunately there is no heaven
- 26:35or hell. It just simply claims that when
- 26:38you die, you become a part of the universe and therefore
- 26:43becoming part of the ancient remnants of the God that created
- 26:47you. Whoa, right.
- 26:50I know there's no way to prove that religion to to have any
- 26:57facts or history behind it because, well, that religion
- 27:01doesn't have a Bible. It just has a strange story that
- 27:05somebody came up with a while back and there's no people that
- 27:10witnessed it or recorded it because it's simply a creation
- 27:14event story and that's it. Who came up with it?
- 27:18I'm not exactly sure. I didn't look that far into it.
- 27:22It was extraordinary, though. So Malpheism, that's something
- 27:28that I adopted for a while there, and it all really came
- 27:33down to the concept of evil, the question of evil, and also why,
- 27:38if there's a powerful, loving God, would he allow terrible
- 27:42things to happen in the world? And all this because in reality,
- 27:46whether some people want to face it or not, on either side, the
- 27:50world has a great deal of evil in it.
- 27:52And the Bible doesn't shy away from admitting that.
- 27:55The Bible says that the the devil himself runs this world,
- 28:00and the devil's obviously running this world into hell.
- 28:04So Mal Theism says it's the belief that God exists but is
- 28:10benevolent or indifferent causing suffering.
- 28:15Maltheism. Also there's a form of maltheism
- 28:18where people believe in God but they hate him.
- 28:22That's not my view. I don't hate God, but I did hold
- 28:25the view that God is actually the proponent and one of the,
- 28:30well actually the number one component and cause for
- 28:34suffering and pain in the universe.
- 28:37And the reason why I'd come to that conclusion a long time ago
- 28:40was because if God is the creator of all things, then
- 28:45surely he's the creator of although we want to give him
- 28:49credit for all the good that happens in the world, we also
- 28:52had to give him credit for the bad.
- 28:54But I started realizing that the way God designed the universe in
- 28:58life, if there wasn't no pain and there wasn't no evil, then
- 29:04we wouldn't have no contrast to be able to know what's good.
- 29:08If we didn't have darkness, we wouldn't understand light.
- 29:12If we didn't have light and then bring in darkness, we wouldn't
- 29:15be able to know the difference and be able to comprehend it.
- 29:19In order to really comprehend love, you have to be able to
- 29:23feel it. And if you have feelings and
- 29:25you're going to have the consequences of a broken heart
- 29:28if love doesn't pan out for you. So there's consequences to every
- 29:33beautiful, wonderful thing that we have.
- 29:36It could be as simple as you love your mother, you care about
- 29:40her with all your heart. One day she dies and it becomes
- 29:44something that makes you have a nervous breakdown or snaps.
- 29:48Maybe you have a wife and she's the most beautiful Angel on the
- 29:52planet, but then one day she betrays you.
- 29:55One day she dies. There could be a number of
- 29:59things that go wrong. And although it was the greatest
- 30:02love in the world, that was also your greatest pain, you see.
- 30:08So it's really hard to one, if one wants to just scratch the
- 30:13surface, it's easy for a religious person to be a
- 30:16mouthiest, but if you dig into the meat and the gravy and drink
- 30:23some of that milk and everything, you start realizing,
- 30:26oh, there's some meat here. There's, there's good reason why
- 30:30God allows a lot of the stuff that happens.
- 30:33One of the worst things that atheists and religious people
- 30:36hate most of all is the concept of death.
- 30:40Nobody likes the idea of losing their loved ones.
- 30:43But what would happen if we were immortal?
- 30:47What if somebody like Stalin or Adolf Hitler was immortal and we
- 30:51all had the capability of feeling pain?
- 30:54Could you imagine being tortured forever and ever on the earth in
- 30:58your physical body? You wouldn't want that, would
- 31:01you? We already got somebody that
- 31:03does all that and that's called Satan.
- 31:06Unless you're an annihilationist, which I still
- 31:09adopt A lot of those views. An annihilationist to someone
- 31:13who believes that when you die, if you are naughty then your
- 31:18soul gets absolutely disintegrated.
- 31:21Annihilated. You will be eternally destroyed.
- 31:26You will be eternally out of the presence of God and the only
- 31:30logical way for that is possible is for you to be non existent.
- 31:34It's really weird to look at the Bible and have it to where it
- 31:38says God will not know you. Well what does God mean when he
- 31:42doesn't know you? The only way God cannot know you
- 31:46is if you don't exist anymore. As if he kind of deleted your
- 31:51data off of his hard drive to where you just simply don't
- 31:55exist anymore. When I say not exist, I'm not
- 31:59talking about a future example of you simply going away.
- 32:05God is literally making it to where everything that happened
- 32:09within the existence or compartment to the universe is
- 32:14gone. Your birth, your death, Your
- 32:18parents won't even know they parented you anymore.
- 32:23That's scary, isn't it? If you had brothers and sisters,
- 32:27they won't know who you are. It will be in the minds of all
- 32:32angels and all living sentient spirits and souls that you never
- 32:36even existed. So for those out there who think
- 32:40that annihilationism is the easy way out of hell, think again.
- 32:47That's scary, ladies and gentlemen, to never have existed
- 32:52at all. To be completely destroyed.
- 32:56And the other problem is some people out there, I know you
- 32:59don't like yourself and you hate yourself and you probably think
- 33:03daily or, and how you wouldn't like to exist and maybe that's a
- 33:06blessing for you. The problem is, is although God
- 33:10destroys your soul to the point where you don't exist, I don't
- 33:15know how long it takes for that process to go.
- 33:17I don't know how much suffering is involved and how slowly the
- 33:22process is for you to be completely wiped out of
- 33:25existence. Maybe it's at the snap of a
- 33:28finger, maybe a wink of an eye, or it could be millenniums of
- 33:35your soul disintegrating and you feeling every single bit of it
- 33:40before you go into nothingness. Who knows nihilism well.
- 33:49Found myself in that it's hard to be an atheist, lack of belief
- 33:52in God and deities and not become a nihilist.
- 33:56The nihilist rejects any inherent meaning, value, or
- 34:01purpose in life, often tied to skepticism about morality or
- 34:04truth. The nihilist says there is no
- 34:07right or wrong, there is no purpose for life, there's no
- 34:10purpose for love, there's no purpose for anything.
- 34:14It's just to the nihilist, everything is solid bar
- 34:17theology, everything is just a fantasy.
- 34:21You're here, then you're gone from cradle to the grave.
- 34:25Nothing matters, nothing has value.
- 34:27You have no soul, and even if you did, it wouldn't matter kind
- 34:30of thing. But when you're an atheist,
- 34:33that's pretty much where you're. If you had any logic or
- 34:37rationality at all, you know that that's where you're
- 34:40heading. You're heading into nothingness.
- 34:44You're heading into a territory where your own parents, your own
- 34:48loved ones, your own wife, your own babies, your own children
- 34:52have no value in the universe whatsoever.
- 34:56And since your love for them is subjective, that doesn't matter.
- 35:00And since love itself is subjective, that doesn't matter.
- 35:05That's where atheism leads, and that's one of the reasons it's
- 35:07so dangerous, and it's probably one of the big reasons why many
- 35:11of you out there will eventually take your own life.
- 35:15That's a hard way to live, ladies and gentlemen, People
- 35:18need purpose and reason. We've been wired genetically.
- 35:22Science will tell you this. We need those social bonds.
- 35:26We need to connect with each other.
- 35:29We need to be able to work as a species together for the
- 35:33betterment of humanity. If you don't, and you live the
- 35:37solitude, walking through the wastelands by yourself type of
- 35:41deal, it's going to get lonely. It's going to make your mind
- 35:45sick, and it's going to darken your heart to the point where
- 35:47you're not going to know what direction you're going.
- 35:50And will it even matter if you got there?
- 35:54You see, Islam, monotheistic religion, following the
- 36:00teachings of Prophet Muhammad and the Quran emphasizing
- 36:03submission to Allah. I look at Islam the way Gandhi
- 36:07looked at Christianity. I'm fine with some of the
- 36:11teachings in the religion. I'm just not fine with its
- 36:14followers. And that's how Gandhi looked at
- 36:17Christianity. He respected and admired Jesus
- 36:21Christ, but he didn't like some of the followers.
- 36:25And I completely understand that.
- 36:26I'm fine with that. I think that a bunch of radicals
- 36:32hijacked that religion and they turned it into a terrorist
- 36:36group. I think it's disguised as a
- 36:40religion of peace, but it's actually a group of people who
- 36:43want to take over the world by any means possible.
- 36:47They don't care how many of their own people die in the
- 36:50process, and they sure as hell don't care how many of us die
- 36:54while they're trying to meet their agenda taking over the
- 36:56world. And to be fair, ladies and
- 37:00gentlemen, I don't give a damn if anybody out there wants to
- 37:03take over the world. All's I ask is, can you do some
- 37:06good for it? Can you do better than what's
- 37:08already happening if that's your agenda is to take over the
- 37:12world? I go with Jesus on this.
- 37:15What's the point of owning the world if you lose your own soul
- 37:19in the process? Why want a big giant landmass if
- 37:23you're not going to do something good with it?
- 37:26Unless slavery enriches you or something then sure I guess.
- 37:32Paganism is pretty much everything outside of
- 37:35Christianity, Islam, Judaism, the three Abrahamic faiths.
- 37:41I looked into all the stuff, ladies and gentlemen, and one of
- 37:46the reasons why I did wasn't just because I wanted to educate
- 37:50myself. It wasn't because, you know, I
- 37:53was just wanting to find the truth, which was always been
- 37:56very important to me, but it was also because of atheists and
- 38:00religious people. You people out there are the
- 38:02blame for this. For me, getting into all these
- 38:05different faiths and views and learning everything that I
- 38:08could. I would hear atheists all the
- 38:12time, tough Christians who Why don't you study other religions?
- 38:15You know what? What makes you think your
- 38:17religion is right? Good question.
- 38:19So I studied all the other religions.
- 38:22I found their flaws and I found positive things about them and
- 38:26the philosophy that agreed with my views on morality, such as
- 38:31being kind and loving and and good and all that.
- 38:34Even with all my flaws, I adopted them.
- 38:37Everything that you see on the screen right here, I've adopted
- 38:41a lot of the views. That's why I find it odd when I
- 38:44hear atheists say, Brett, you flip flop, you change your views
- 38:48all the time. No, I mentally and emotionally
- 38:52and spiritually evolves. Not like you where you think you
- 38:56came from a damn lizard or a mouse into a monkey.
- 39:00I'm saying that I actually upgrade as I go along.
- 39:05As I learn more, it becomes absorbed into my psyche and into
- 39:10my spirituality. I adopted pantheism.
- 39:15I adopted different philosophies that deists have come up with.
- 39:20I even adopt some of the views and quotes and some of the
- 39:23information that mouthiest of the past have put forth.
- 39:27I definitely have accepted and approved a majority of the
- 39:31teachings of Christianity. There are some things I'm still
- 39:34challenged by which I talked to my Christian friends about and
- 39:38privately atheism. I obviously took that into my
- 39:44well-being for a while. Ladies and gentlemen, I was an
- 39:48atheist for a long time. You all know that.
- 39:51Whether you like what kind of atheist I was or not, I was
- 39:55still one of them. And I obviously I also adopted
- 39:59nihilism whenever I was an atheist.
- 40:02That's the reason why I talked about it.
- 40:05And I really believe that it's not just a general perspective
- 40:09that if you become an atheist, you will eventually become a
- 40:12nihilist. I think that's the natural
- 40:15evolution of the atheist. As far as Islam, I believe that
- 40:19parts of it still hold truth and are connected to Christianity
- 40:24and Judaism. However, I think that Muhammad,
- 40:28Prophet Muhammad was a terrible person.
- 40:33I really do. There's no way I will give any
- 40:36submission to him. And I do believe that there is
- 40:40some form of connection between Allah and God.
- 40:45And some people argue that Allah and God of the Bible are the
- 40:48same being because according to their book, Allah spoke to
- 40:53Moses, Allah spoke to many different beings that are
- 40:58mentioned in the Bible. Or it could just be that the
- 41:02Muslims plagiarize Christianity and Judaism, stole some of their
- 41:07views and then wrote a book about it.
- 41:10There's many, many different ways to look at it.
- 41:12But whatever it is, I take it very seriously and I have not
- 41:16stopped educating myself over the years.
- 41:21But at this point, ladies and gentlemen, I'm not so much
- 41:24concerned about their whether their religion has any truth in
- 41:27it or not. I'm to the point where I'm tired
- 41:31of the way their followers act in modern day society and how
- 41:34they affect culture and how they ruin and destroy the lives of
- 41:38many people. And no, it's not just Islam I
- 41:41worry about, it's atheists and Christians and people of all
- 41:45these different faiths. I have listed here where I'm
- 41:47keeping an eye on your ass. Some of you out there are awful
- 41:52and you're destroying this world and you're hurting a lot of
- 41:54people. Some of you are great and
- 41:56wonderful and you'll be in heaven one day.
- 42:00I'm just being honest with you. Pagans, everything outside of
- 42:05the faiths, as I put it. These are folks who really get
- 42:10into nature. They really feel as though the
- 42:13essence and power comes from the earth, that we're connected
- 42:17through everything. It's very, it's a lot like the
- 42:22views of Indians and it's definitely, and I'm talking
- 42:25native Indians and it's also shares a lot of views that you
- 42:29would hear if you looked into Buddha or Buddhism or India
- 42:35religions. India has a lot of lot of
- 42:38different faiths and religion. I couldn't intend lifetimes be
- 42:42able to study every single faith that they have.
- 42:46But the ones that I have looked at and I can see a lot of the
- 42:49similarities. So when you have atheists out
- 42:52there saying, oh, how come all the religions are so similar?
- 42:55Because God interacts with all communities and all groups
- 43:00around the world and has been since the times of the ancient
- 43:04people. So I expect them to have similar
- 43:07views. I expect them to have beliefs
- 43:11that there's a higher power in God, and I wouldn't be in the
- 43:15slightest shocked or surprised to find that they all together,
- 43:20at some point in time, adopted each other's views and ideas.
- 43:24This wouldn't surprise me. It doesn't hurt my faith in God,
- 43:28It actually makes it stronger. It means that from the beginning
- 43:32of time, mankind has always had a relationship with something
- 43:36greater than himself that created the universe.
- 43:40That doesn't make me go, oh, yeah, they're all copycat.
- 43:43But who did they copy from? Where did it all come from?
- 43:48And that's the question that atheists cannot answer.
- 43:51And they don't take enough effort to even try.
- 43:55So ladies and gentlemen, flip flop means that you stopped
- 43:59thinking one way and then went to thinking another way.
- 44:03Do you really think that I ever stopped thinking about the
- 44:06philosophy and views and arguments that atheists made?
- 44:10Do you think that I ever just completely said, Oh yeah, I
- 44:14don't know what it's like to be an atheist anymore?
- 44:17Do you really think that I somehow locked off mouth theism
- 44:23and all these other different views?
- 44:25This is just a handful of some of the theologies and views that
- 44:29I looked into and adopted a lot of ideas.
- 44:33We could be here all day if I were to go stringently into
- 44:37this. No, all these different views
- 44:43have some similarities, and they also have some great things that
- 44:47could actually help you in your actual life.
- 44:51All of these things lead to a moral compass, but there's also
- 44:57a lot of fraud. There's a lot of lies and
- 45:01there's a lot of nonsense and there's a lot of mythology.
- 45:05That's up to you to be able to figure out what is fact and what
- 45:09is real and what is just nonsense and gibberish.
- 45:18Christianity to me, one of the reasons why I direct my faith
- 45:23towards a lot of its teachings is because Christianity has the
- 45:28strongest case. It has the history, it has the
- 45:32Bible, it has the geology, the geography, it has the cosmic
- 45:38answers, it has everything and then some.
- 45:42It has archives of the lives of thousands of people all the way
- 45:47up to the point of Jesus. And then beyond.
- 45:50These, other religions don't have it.
- 45:52Maltheism doesn't have that. Deism is just about is God
- 45:56interactive or not? Pantheism just describes the
- 45:59properties of is God part of the universe and extension or what
- 46:04Islam is. As some people say, It just
- 46:08simply rehashes what is already in Judaism and then places it in
- 46:15its own book with a couple new prophets.
- 46:18And then there's atheism and nihilism, both mentioned in the
- 46:22Bible, by the way, those who are godless, those who don't care
- 46:26about anything, those who do evil, even their group is
- 46:30involved, and Satanist, which I've looked into them as well.
- 46:36And you all know that because you've seen my live shows on
- 46:39Spotify. I've actually interacted and did
- 46:43shows with Satanist leaders and Reverends and Satanic priest.
- 46:49So yeah, I understand them quite well and I don't disrespect
- 46:55them. I don't give them any kind of
- 46:57trouble, and they know that I share with them the blessings of
- 47:03Christ. But they're going to do what
- 47:06they're going to do. They're going to roll the way
- 47:07they roll. If I get to help anybody at any
- 47:13time, that's great. So again, let me repeat it.
- 47:18Flip flop means that you've changed from one view to
- 47:21another. Does it actually sound like I
- 47:24changed my views from anything? I still have the same thoughts
- 47:29process about atheism. The only thing that's changed
- 47:32about it is I think that atheism is wrong.
- 47:35I still know all my arguments. I probably know.
- 47:39I probably have forgotten more arguments than you could
- 47:45actually know. And this is the same with all
- 47:49these different beliefs. I haven't flip-flopped.
- 47:52I simply adopted. I absorbed, I consumed, I
- 47:57brought it into my soul, I analyzed it and I basically
- 48:06built a foundation and I move forward.
- 48:09That's why I'm God, TV, radio. That's why they call me the
- 48:13Great Black King, because I'm not narrow minded.
- 48:18I'll look into anything and everything.
- 48:21I want the truth, not just for me, but for you.
- 48:26I don't want to be giving you a bunch of gibberish and a bunch
- 48:29of false information or false hope.
- 48:32I want to be able to give you the truth as I find it and as I
- 48:35know it. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 48:40I hope you have a blessed day. I hope you enjoyed the video.
- 48:43This will be up on my radio station as well.
- 48:46God bless. Remember when we shared
- 48:59everything back when I dollar meant nothing, just two kids
- 49:04with big plans. Never thought it would come to
- 49:08this. Start it small, start it honest.
- 49:13Then the money came. Called in.
- 49:15Chase away that you move. Chase away that you talk to me.
- 49:21Can't even recognize you. Now everything's different
- 49:24somehow. Used to text me all night.
- 49:29Now your assistant calls mine. Where's your car?
- 49:32Every dollar I stand with the wall.
- 49:37But sweeters.
