- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice Shogallalla. Hello, welcome to the naught Eva Night Show.
- 0:18Speaker 1: It's Friday. It's been an amazing, amazing weekend, Rob Shooter,
- 0:21Speaker 1: and it's only going to get more amazing, said dear
- 0:23Speaker 1: friend Cory Andrew from Instinct magazine dot com is joining us. Corey,
- 0:28Speaker 1: Are you there? I am here? Hello everyone? Hey, Corey
- 0:32Speaker 1: is what an exciting weekend? Book is number eleven on
- 0:35Speaker 1: the Amazon charts. We are now officially best selling authors.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Thanks to all the Naughties everybody listening to this show.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you, thank you. And we have a
- 0:44Speaker 1: little special programming note tomorrow, Corey. I'm handing you the
- 0:49Speaker 1: keys to the car. You're taking over the show. What
- 0:51Speaker 1: are we doing? What? We're doing a great little interview
- 0:54Speaker 1: with you tomorrow and it's going to be about the book.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I'm going to be turning the tables, are you Mr
- 0:59Speaker 1: shoe He and um. It'll be a lot of fun.
- 1:02Speaker 1: We can talk about the book and are the inspiration
- 1:04Speaker 1: behind it? Thank you. You can ask anything you want.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I'm being really serious here. There is nothing off the record.
- 1:09Speaker 1: I am an open book. Does what I did there?
- 1:12Speaker 1: So anything you want to ask we shall do tomorrow.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Be a special bonus podcast of The Naughty but Nice Show. Hey,
- 1:17Speaker 1: my friends, let's jump into today's show because we've got
- 1:20Speaker 1: so much goes it? What time is it? My friends?
- 1:23Speaker 1: It is shocking. New revelations are coming forward about Britney
- 1:29Speaker 1: Spears and her dad and get this, he may have
- 1:32Speaker 1: had a restraining order against him when it comes to
- 1:36Speaker 1: Brittney's children. A new court filing from Britney Spears his lawyer,
- 1:42Speaker 1: and new details to a previously reported physical alteration between
- 1:49Speaker 1: Brittany's father and one of her teenage sons. So in
- 1:54Speaker 1: August twenty nineteen, the court issued a multi year a
- 2:00Speaker 1: multi year domestic violence restraining order against Mr Spears, requiring
- 2:08Speaker 1: him to stay away from Britney's children and their father, Kevin.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Theader lines, so Britney's new lawyer is putting all this
- 2:17Speaker 1: dirty laundry out in the public, probably rightfully so after
- 2:20Speaker 1: what the dad has been doing to Brittany. The new
- 2:23Speaker 1: documents mentioned the restraining order and also really recap about
- 2:28Speaker 1: why Mr Spears needs to be immediately suspended as the
- 2:33Speaker 1: conservat tour. So back in twenty nineteen, there were lots
- 2:37Speaker 1: of reports about an altercation between Jamie Spears and Britney's
- 2:42Speaker 1: then nineteen year old son, Sean Preston. We didn't really
- 2:45Speaker 1: get much information about it. I did some reporting on it,
- 2:49Speaker 1: but we certainly didn't know there was a restraining order.
- 2:51Speaker 1: At the time, Entertainment Tonight reported they got into a
- 2:55Speaker 1: verbal argument, but nothing about anything physical. Also at the
- 3:00Speaker 1: time People Magazine did report there was physical contact between
- 3:07Speaker 1: the two of them. The next day, Kevin Federlion he
- 3:10Speaker 1: filed her police report and since then the dad has
- 3:15Speaker 1: been forced to keep away from her children. This is
- 3:18Speaker 1: getting more and more messy the more we find out. Corey,
- 3:22Speaker 1: what do you think, Wow, Well, I think it's really
- 3:24Speaker 1: important because you know, based on what the father was
- 3:27Speaker 1: trying to present to the public about Brittany, this now
- 3:30Speaker 1: shows that maybe she was accurate and many people know
- 3:33Speaker 1: her father was the problem the whole time. Not a
- 3:36Speaker 1: good money, not a good look any grandfather that has
- 3:39Speaker 1: a restraining order against his grandchildren. I mean, it's something
- 3:43Speaker 1: that you've got to think about, which tings us to
- 3:44Speaker 1: our pole question of the day. Britney's kids had a
- 3:47Speaker 1: restraining order against her dad. Do you think we're going
- 3:51Speaker 1: to find at even more about her dad's behavior. Go
- 3:56Speaker 1: vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob or
- 3:59Speaker 1: our face smook page, which I'm sure to check back
- 4:02Speaker 1: on Monday to hear your results. Corey Love, what are
- 4:07Speaker 1: you working on them? Yes? So. In Survivor news, Jeff
- 4:10Speaker 1: Probes kicked off season forty one on Wednesday by nixing
- 4:14Speaker 1: one of his most used phrases. So the host who
- 4:18Speaker 1: has been saying come on in guys for twenty years,
- 4:21Speaker 1: you know. He asked the players how they felt about
- 4:23Speaker 1: that gendered phrase and eventually agreed it was time to
- 4:27Speaker 1: retire it come on in Guys, which he's used to
- 4:30Speaker 1: welcome players to challenges and just about every episode. I
- 4:34Speaker 1: love saying it. It's part of the show, but I
- 4:37Speaker 1: too want to be part of the moment, prope said. Now,
- 4:39Speaker 1: he told players to decide if the word guys was
- 4:43Speaker 1: okay in the context of quote unquote Survivor the show. Now,
- 4:47Speaker 1: multiple players said they were fine with him using it.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I as a woman, as a queer woman, do not
- 4:53Speaker 1: feel excluded by the word guys, Jagoda said, adding that
- 4:57Speaker 1: it's a signature expression. I mean, everyone knows this expression, right.
- 5:01Speaker 1: But Probes also asked if anyone disagreed and he was
- 5:04Speaker 1: met with silence. So on day three, one player spoke
- 5:09Speaker 1: against the phrase. In Probes fully agreed it was time
- 5:11Speaker 1: to change it. The reality is that Survivor has changed
- 5:13Speaker 1: over the twenty one years, and those changes have allowed
- 5:16Speaker 1: us all of these brown people, black people, Asian people,
- 5:20Speaker 1: so many queer people to be here. Simultaneously, Foyer added, Now,
- 5:25Speaker 1: Propes said that he agreed and loved that Foyer gave
- 5:27Speaker 1: more thought to the question and had the courage to
- 5:30Speaker 1: actually voice his opinion. I want to change it, Prope said,
- 5:33Speaker 1: I'm glad this was the last time I will ever
- 5:36Speaker 1: say okay, So if I may just give a thought
- 5:40Speaker 1: to that really quickly, I think that, yes, that we
- 5:43Speaker 1: are a little overly sensitive now as a society. I
- 5:47Speaker 1: understand the whole pronoun plays, but guys has never really
- 5:51Speaker 1: been assigned a gender. Really, when it was used, it
- 5:55Speaker 1: was just to use as a plural of a group
- 5:57Speaker 1: that said I'm not a woman. So maybe I don't
- 6:00Speaker 1: have that same perspective. But what do you think rather,
- 6:02Speaker 1: I mean, is that a gender phrase or just is
- 6:05Speaker 1: it just guys meeting everyone. We're so used to hearing
- 6:08Speaker 1: it my entire life. I've heard come on guys. I
- 6:10Speaker 1: say it myself. The population are not are not guys,
- 6:14Speaker 1: and so I think, what's really interesting here is a
- 6:16Speaker 1: Jeff asked, which is a good thing to do in life.
- 6:19Speaker 1: You know, if you're not sure about something, you say
- 6:21Speaker 1: it's okay to ask. Goodness knows. I have a lot
- 6:24Speaker 1: of friends who don't know people of color or trans people. Myself,
- 6:29Speaker 1: I really don't know a lot of trans people, so
- 6:31Speaker 1: I ask questions. Hopefully I'm respectful. So I like the
- 6:34Speaker 1: fact he asked. And it's interesting too, because this happens
- 6:37Speaker 1: a lot, doesn't it. When you first meet somebody. This
- 6:40Speaker 1: was on the first episode and he's like the boss
- 6:42Speaker 1: on the show. Everyone's like, no, no, no, One'm fine
- 6:44Speaker 1: with that. It's all great because you just want to
- 6:46Speaker 1: get along. You don't want to rock the boat, so
- 6:48Speaker 1: to speaking. Inpended on Survivor. But after three days, one
- 6:52Speaker 1: of the players was confidence enough to actually say I
- 6:55Speaker 1: thought about that, and it's something that I've done a
- 6:58Speaker 1: lot in my life. In the moment, I was like, yes, yes,
- 7:00Speaker 1: it's fine, And then I'm like, you know what, it
- 7:03Speaker 1: actually isn't fine. And you're allowed to change your mind.
- 7:06Speaker 1: You're allowed to sleep on it to think about it,
- 7:09Speaker 1: you know, we've got probably much bigger problems than this.
- 7:12Speaker 1: But I do think Jeff is showing a sensitivity that
- 7:16Speaker 1: he's not for forty one seasons and after what has
- 7:20Speaker 1: happened with Mr. With Mr. Bachelor, I'm sure Jeff's been
- 7:24Speaker 1: very very careful because Chris Harrison don't have a job.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Chris doesn't on ABC by Chris after lots of seasons.
- 7:33Speaker 1: If I was Jeff, I'd look around, if I'd look
- 7:35Speaker 1: at Dancing with the Stars and say, where's Tom Berger?
- 7:37Speaker 1: Run yet gone? Tyra Banks is in So Jeff, as
- 7:41Speaker 1: a middle aged white guy, I'd been treading very carefully,
- 7:45Speaker 1: to which I would actually be might be a good
- 7:49Speaker 1: lesson for all us white, middle aged white guys. Tread
- 7:53Speaker 1: a little careful. The world is changing, I think maybe
- 7:56Speaker 1: for the best moving go along. Anderson Cooper is talking
- 7:59Speaker 1: about his son and he said that he does not
- 8:01Speaker 1: wear hand me downs from Andy Cohen's little son. So Anderson,
- 8:06Speaker 1: he's not being a diva here. We know he's a Vanderbilt.
- 8:09Speaker 1: We know he's very very, very wealthy, So he doesn't
- 8:12Speaker 1: accept hand me downs, not because of that, but because
- 8:15Speaker 1: he doesn't like Andy Cohen's style when it comes to dressing.
- 8:22Speaker 1: So he was on an episode of Watch What Happens
- 8:24Speaker 1: Live and a viewer asked Anderson what's hand me down
- 8:28Speaker 1: he's got from Andy. Anderson replied, quote, He's given me
- 8:31Speaker 1: lots of stuff and it all has labels on it,
- 8:33Speaker 1: and I'd never put those on my son. I'm more
- 8:36Speaker 1: like sort of norm core boys outfits. And so Andy
- 8:41Speaker 1: jumped in and he called his buddy out, saying, you
- 8:44Speaker 1: love costumes, to which Anderson Cooper said, yes, I do
- 8:48Speaker 1: love costumes. And he said that for Halloween his little
- 8:50Speaker 1: boy will be back then, but he doesn't really like
- 8:53Speaker 1: his style. It's so interesting because at that age, the
- 8:56Speaker 1: kids themselves probably don't have a sense of style, right,
- 9:00Speaker 1: it's the parents that are dressing them. How did your
- 9:03Speaker 1: mommy dress you, Corey? Was it? Was it fabulous? It
- 9:09Speaker 1: was fabulous? I knew that. That's why you're still fabulous,
- 9:11Speaker 1: not but you know it's funny. She tells me stories
- 9:14Speaker 1: about how she would try and put socks on me
- 9:16Speaker 1: and if like the socks had a hole in it,
- 9:17Speaker 1: I would like kick them off in attention. I was like,
- 9:22Speaker 1: very very fabulous, already still fabulous. My friends, what else
- 9:27Speaker 1: are you working on that? Yes? Well, Scott Foley made
- 9:30Speaker 1: a rare comment about his ex Jennifer Garner. Yes, that
- 9:33Speaker 1: would even matter if I was working on this story.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I was like, when did this happen? I don't remember,
- 9:38Speaker 1: but yeah, there was a time. There was a time.
- 9:40Speaker 1: And so Scott was recently on a episode of a
- 9:42Speaker 1: show on Sirius X some radio, and he was speaking
- 9:45Speaker 1: about his former marriage to Jennifer Garner, and Andy asked
- 9:48Speaker 1: a forty nine year old actor about the time on
- 9:50Speaker 1: Felicity and if he had ever dated any of the
- 9:52Speaker 1: young starlets, you know, the co host and probably He said, yeah,
- 9:57Speaker 1: I probably did. Jokingly because he goes, I got Arie
- 10:00Speaker 1: during Felicity. It was a short lived marriage. Garner and
- 10:03Speaker 1: Fully tied the knot in two thousand and they split
- 10:06Speaker 1: in two thousand three, finalizing their divorce into thousand four.
- 10:11Speaker 1: He says, we were together for a total of five years.
- 10:14Speaker 1: I downplay that because my wife is right behind me.
- 10:19Speaker 1: But here recalled, he goes, yeah, we met on the show.
- 10:21Speaker 1: We hit it off instantly, and then we started dating,
- 10:24Speaker 1: and that's what happens, right, And he also followed up,
- 10:26Speaker 1: if you bumped into her and the Ward show. Would
- 10:28Speaker 1: you be cool as scup was like, I would say, hello,
- 10:30Speaker 1: were cordial. Look, but we're no longer in tourn We
- 10:33Speaker 1: don't text, we don't talk to him. But she moved
- 10:35Speaker 1: on with her life. Who moved on with his? But
- 10:37Speaker 1: I forgot they even dated. Duh Ariana grand Day is
- 10:43Speaker 1: telling Kelly Clarkson that she dems her voice artists. Grand
- 10:48Speaker 1: Day She's not played by the rules at all, so
- 10:50Speaker 1: touring it appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, she told
- 10:54Speaker 1: Kelly that she talks to her artists on her team
- 10:57Speaker 1: all the time, which technically isn't allowed until the start
- 11:02Speaker 1: of the live shows. I did not That's the part
- 11:05Speaker 1: of this story that I really like. They're not allowed
- 11:08Speaker 1: to talk to their artists when they're not actually in
- 11:13Speaker 1: the building, and it's interesting. I've interviewed a few people,
- 11:17Speaker 1: actually quite a few people who were on the voice
- 11:19Speaker 1: of One of their complaints was that the mentor wasn't
- 11:24Speaker 1: really a mentor. They were only a mentor when the
- 11:27Speaker 1: cameras heard that too. I've heard that too about RuPaul's
- 11:30Speaker 1: drag race. Some of the girls say that rue is
- 11:33Speaker 1: fabulous when the cameras are on when the cameras are
- 11:37Speaker 1: not on. She's It's tricky, isn't it, Because you want
- 11:40Speaker 1: to support people, you want the show to be truthful,
- 11:42Speaker 1: but at the same time, just because you're on my team,
- 11:45Speaker 1: not when you're sleeping on mar couch. Enough. So she
- 11:50Speaker 1: talked about breaking the rules, but she said that she
- 11:53Speaker 1: loves d m ng them. That's clever. So Ariana has
- 11:56Speaker 1: not given them her phone number or email. She's like, well,
- 12:00Speaker 1: just dear each other a little bit of distance here,
- 12:05Speaker 1: And she went on to say how much she's enjoying
- 12:08Speaker 1: the show and how she's really in awe of these
- 12:12Speaker 1: incredible singers. I love that she's fitting in. She's clearly
- 12:15Speaker 1: the star of this show. Just because of her star power,
- 12:18Speaker 1: she might be the most relevant star they've ever had on.
- 12:21Speaker 1: I don't mean that as disrespects. Kelly Clarkson's amazing. I
- 12:24Speaker 1: love her. Blake Sheldon is a lot of fun too,
- 12:26Speaker 1: But they're not really getting top ten singles anymore. Arianna is.
- 12:30Speaker 1: She's getting number one singles and is certainly the most relevant,
- 12:35Speaker 1: one of the most relevant pop stars at the moment. Hey,
- 12:38Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 12:40Speaker 1: be welcome to Naughty but Night show up your Headstrom
- 12:47Speaker 1: shooter with that. Dear dear friend Corey Andrew from Instinct
- 12:51Speaker 1: magazine dot com, Hey, let's get to the polls. Thank you, Cory.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Arianna Grandy is saying that an alleged stalker threatened to
- 13:00Speaker 1: kill her. Do we need stronger anti stalking laws? Wow
- 13:07Speaker 1: said yes, I totally totally agree. Don't forget to vote
- 13:10Speaker 1: on today's pole. Go to our Twitter page at Naughty
- 13:13Speaker 1: Nights for on my Facebook page is naughty goals they have?
- 13:15Speaker 1: I'm sure it's checked back on Monday to hear your results.
- 13:20Speaker 1: And now it's time for the nicest of the day. Yes,
- 13:27Speaker 1: and I will say this is very, very nice because
- 13:30Speaker 1: it's a it's a it's a cause close to my heart,
- 13:33Speaker 1: you know, with mental illness, people doing their thing to
- 13:35Speaker 1: get better. Megan Trainer has said she's not ashamed that
- 13:38Speaker 1: she's on antidepressants, and I love that she's being open
- 13:41Speaker 1: about that. So she's opened up about her experience with
- 13:43Speaker 1: panic disorder, sharing that she had her first panic attack
- 13:47Speaker 1: on live television, and she says, I was announcing the
- 13:49Speaker 1: Grammy nominees and I was vibrating. I felt like I
- 13:52Speaker 1: was going to pass out on live television. I was like,
- 13:55Speaker 1: what is happening? I must be dying. The singer told
- 13:58Speaker 1: people now the symptoms that she was eperiencing placed her
- 14:01Speaker 1: in the hospital on occasions. But she says, I'm not
- 14:05Speaker 1: ashamed to say I'm on antidepressants. That medicine saved me,
- 14:10Speaker 1: saved my life, saved my career. I'm back better than
- 14:14Speaker 1: ever and rab I have to say it's wonderful. I've
- 14:16Speaker 1: never been on them, but I'm so supportive of that
- 14:19Speaker 1: community and people who are brave enough to come out
- 14:21Speaker 1: and say that they need that help. So heads off
- 14:23Speaker 1: to Megan Trainer. Absolutely mental health. It's so important. I've
- 14:29Speaker 1: been blessed with the sort of happy gene. What you
- 14:33Speaker 1: hear and see on this show is really who I am.
- 14:36Speaker 1: But there was a time in my life and we
- 14:38Speaker 1: actually talk about it in my book The Forward Answer,
- 14:41Speaker 1: where I had zanix. I didn't use them all the time,
- 14:45Speaker 1: but for the first time in my life, really I
- 14:49Speaker 1: was late in my thirties, I started to feel panic
- 14:53Speaker 1: attacks too. I don't want to overstate this because I
- 14:56Speaker 1: don't want to take away what Megan and other people
- 14:58Speaker 1: are really good through. But there was a moment or two,
- 15:02Speaker 1: and it lasted about a year where I felt more
- 15:04Speaker 1: overwhelmed than having panic attacks. And my doctor gave me
- 15:08Speaker 1: his annex and I'd take a pill. Not very often,
- 15:11Speaker 1: but occasionally I would. And what was interesting is it
- 15:14Speaker 1: always happened when I was alone. I can go on TV,
- 15:17Speaker 1: I can go on Wendy the Today Show, I can
- 15:19Speaker 1: do this podcasts. I never get nervous. I actually get
- 15:21Speaker 1: nervous when I'm alone. And I think through my therapist,
- 15:25Speaker 1: what I found out is I'm the youngest of five kids.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I was never alone growing up. I'm never alone. My
- 15:32Speaker 1: biggest fear is being alone. Oh wow wow. So once
- 15:37Speaker 1: again Megan trainer and nicest of the day, and now
- 15:41Speaker 1: I'm naughtiest of the day. Naughty, naughty, naught It's a
- 15:44Speaker 1: sad one and naughtiest is cancer. So Sarah Jessica Parker
- 15:49Speaker 1: has revealed she's just not yet ready to mourn her
- 15:53Speaker 1: dear friend Willie Garson. So Sarah Jessica is still in
- 15:58Speaker 1: the early stages of reaving. Following the announcement that Willie
- 16:03Speaker 1: had passed away. Sex in the City's Star, Chris Nof
- 16:07Speaker 1: posted a photograph of Sarah and Willie to his Instagram account.
- 16:12Speaker 1: They were inseparable. My insiders on the show say that
- 16:16Speaker 1: Willie was her best friend on the show. It's not
- 16:18Speaker 1: Andy Cohen, it's not Mario Canton, it was Willie. And
- 16:23Speaker 1: Sarah saw saw this post and she wrote the following quote,
- 16:28Speaker 1: thank you, dearest Chris. I'm not ready yet. Wow. So
- 16:34Speaker 1: Willy portrayed Carrie Bradshaw's best friends Stanford with who I
- 16:39Speaker 1: Love Forget this. He was her best friend off camera too,
- 16:43Speaker 1: He told us Weekly They've been friends for years and
- 16:46Speaker 1: years and years. In fact, there were friends ten years
- 16:49Speaker 1: before he even did the show. He added, we talk
- 16:53Speaker 1: almost every day. Heartbreaking, heartbreaking, hey, cancer and naughtiest of
- 17:02Speaker 1: the day. And now let's end with a moment of rob.
- 17:06Speaker 1: You get a Rob, You get a rob, You get
- 17:08Speaker 1: a rob, You get a Rob. Sponsored by my new book,
- 17:11Speaker 1: The Forward Answer. As we record this show, we're a
- 17:15Speaker 1: number eleven on amazons Y naughtyse I owe it all
- 17:25Speaker 1: to you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Lady Gaga
- 17:28Speaker 1: said the following quote. Do not allow people to dim
- 17:32Speaker 1: your shiner because they are blinded. Tell them to put
- 17:37Speaker 1: on some sunglasses. It's so important if you try to
- 17:42Speaker 1: diminish yourself to make friends with others who don't appreciate
- 17:47Speaker 1: your shine. You'll ultimately fail shine shine, shine, and you
- 17:53Speaker 1: might lose them, but you, my friend, will be a winner. Hey,
- 17:58Speaker 1: that's it for this extreme ordinary week. I'm still giddy,
- 18:02Speaker 1: giddy with excitement. I've gotta be honest with all friends here.
- 18:05Speaker 1: I knew we'd do okay. I knew we would sell
- 18:08Speaker 1: some books. I didn't think we would sell out. Corey,
- 18:10Speaker 1: this is extraordinant, so exciting, Rob, this is wonderful. It's extraordinary.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Thank you again, thank you, thank you, thank you, and
- 18:18Speaker 1: thank you for listening to the Naughty but Nice with
- 18:21Speaker 1: Rob and Corey Show, a production of I Heart Radio.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Don't forget to subscribe on the I Heart Radio app,
- 18:28Speaker 1: Apple podcast, or wherever you listen. Leave us a review
- 18:30Speaker 1: if you can. They really really do help. And remember,
- 18:33Speaker 1: let me hear you're singing out loud. Let's sing the
- 18:36Speaker 1: week away and singing to the weekend. If you're to
- 18:40Speaker 1: be you've got to be nice for everybody. You think
- 18:49Speaker 1: it's starting but nice with
