- 0:19Hello, and welcome to episode 249 of the All Systems Go sports
- 0:25Betting podcast powered by Rhythm.
- 0:28I'm your host Josh Applebaum. What's going on everyone happy
- 0:37Thirsty Thursday the 1st week in April is coming to an end.
- 0:41We got one more day until a big Friday and then the weekend will
- 0:44be here and you know what that means the return of March
- 0:47Madness, the final four and guess what guys?
- 0:50I hit on a couple of these March Madness games yesterday just
- 0:53kind of teasing out my thoughts. I had a live stream on Tuesday.
- 0:56Thank you all again who tuned into the rhythm live stream
- 0:59every Tuesday on Twitter. You can find it at Josh under
- 1:02Score Insights. But I was saying, hey, there's a
- 1:05game that I'm looking at and I'm thinking we should probably pull
- 1:08the trigger. And then there's another game
- 1:09that I'm interested in, but I'm going to continue to monitor.
- 1:12I'm going to hold out for a specific number.
- 1:13Well end up playing one officially.
- 1:16So I'm going to give you a final four bet.
- 1:18You're welcome to tail fade, do whatever you like, but I think
- 1:21we have a pretty good edge here based upon what Rhythm and Ken
- 1:23Palmer are predicting and what the betting market and number
- 1:26currently that is being offered. So I have one official bet for
- 1:29the final four, another lean. I'm waiting for a good number.
- 1:32And then of course, we're going to get right back to Major
- 1:34League Baseball with a three pack today.
- 1:37Kind of a small slate, only five games overall.
- 1:39Couple of them are early, but I got 2 plays on the late games
- 1:43and one play on a late afternoon matchup as well.
- 1:46So as always, a three pack. Let's try to go 2 in one, eek
- 1:49out a winning night. Now, before we dive in our
- 1:51sweats for today, looking back toward last night, 2 and 2 -,
- 1:550.79 units. Finally, dear Lord, the
- 1:59Cardinals came through after two straight days of blowing leads.
- 2:02They actually blew a lead yesterday.
- 2:03Sonny Gray had a lead. I think they're up 3:00 to 1:00
- 2:06to give up a Grand Slam. But they found a way to claw
- 2:08their way back and then absolutely poured it on late,
- 2:11winning 12 to 5 S. Cardinals, thank you for finally
- 2:13coming through for us. Then the fathers, the Padres,
- 2:16man, the Padres just keep coming through.
- 2:19I had another winner there. The frustrating losses were the
- 2:21Reds. They lost one nothing.
- 2:23I think they had two hits. They couldn't do anything
- 2:25offensively. So really that was a that was a
- 2:27no show on offense. Always tough when you lose a
- 2:30game, one nothing. And then the Yankees, the
- 2:32Yankees, of course, they let us down here.
- 2:34They actually got off to a bad start for nothing.
- 2:37They made it interesting in the ninth, Anthony Volpe hit a three
- 2:39run Homer, but then of course thing was Dominguez who struck
- 2:42out there to end the game. So either way, guys 2 and 2 -,
- 2:460.79 units will find a way hopefully to scratch and claw
- 2:49and start our our Thursday here on a winning note.
- 2:53So with that being said, let's get right back to MLBI.
- 2:57Love sweating MLB on a daily basis.
- 2:59I think it's just, I don't know, something about it, something
- 3:01about the grind and also like the fact that you get a lot of
- 3:04games to choose from each day. You can kind of narrow it down
- 3:07and fall toward the games that have good, you know, current
- 3:09market movement and then also overlap with a ton of system
- 3:12matches. And you guys, before you know
- 3:14it, you'll be able to, you know, just, you know, shout out these
- 3:17system matches, you know, as as easy and quickly as I can.
- 3:21But anyway, let's get right to it, guys.
- 3:22Early match up here. 4:10 PM Eastern Time.
- 3:25We got the Astros visiting the Houston or the Minnesota Twins.
- 3:29So we got Astros Twins. 4:10 PM Eastern Time.
- 3:32Let's set the stage, talk some line movement.
- 3:35I'll give you my play for this one.
- 3:36So going into it, the Stroh's struggling a bit to start the
- 3:39year. They're 2:00 and 4:00 just got
- 3:40swept by the Giants at home. They lost the series finale
- 3:43yesterday six to three as a -, 165 home favorite.
- 3:47You know, all the Twins also 2:00 and 4:00.
- 3:49But they actually had a pretty good series.
- 3:50They just took two or three against the White Sox, took care
- 3:53of business as a - 185 win winner yesterday on the road,
- 3:58winning 6 to 1. So what are we seeing for this
- 4:01match up here? Well, first let's start with the
- 4:02pitching match up. Every time you cap an MLB game,
- 4:04to me, it starts with the starting pitchers.
- 4:07Obviously the match up, it'll be baked into the number, but you
- 4:09want to be aware of who's on the bump.
- 4:11It's kind of like a starting goalie in hockey or quarterback
- 4:14in the NFL. But anyway, this open with the
- 4:16Twins, let's say as a very short favorite around -120 at home,
- 4:20around Houston, A plus one O 5 road dog.
- 4:22And it's pretty clear here sharps are going with the
- 4:24Twinkies. So that's where I want to go.
- 4:25I'm going twins here, guys. Twins open -120 They've now been
- 4:29steamed up to -135 -, 140. So good movement.
- 4:33One way movement in favor of the Twins.
- 4:35Look at the bets. What's here.
- 4:36What's notable to me is that the public is actually saying, give
- 4:39me Houston. Houston's getting some plus
- 4:41money. Hey, they're both two and four.
- 4:43Houston's won a bunch of World Series and, you know, over the
- 4:46last, I don't know, 5-10 years or so.
- 4:48So why not take Houston 22 subpar teams, take the plus
- 4:51money. However, even though you're
- 4:53getting nearly 60% of money line bets on the Astros at
- 4:56DraftKings, the line didn't move toward the Astros, it moved
- 5:00further toward the Twins. So it looks to me like a bit of
- 5:02a fade. The trendy dog reverse line move
- 5:04in favor of Minnesota public's taking Houston and the plus
- 5:07money. Yet this line is moving further
- 5:09toward Minnesota now at Circa, this really jumped out to me.
- 5:12The Twins are only getting 48% of money line bets, but 91% of
- 5:17money line dollars. So a huge low bets, higher
- 5:20dollar split in favor of Minnesota out in the desert.
- 5:24Now we get to our system matches.
- 5:25Home favorites this year seems chalky, seems obvious, but proof
- 5:29is in the pudding. Home favorites are 40 and 20
- 5:31this season, 67% with an 11% ROI.
- 5:36We've also seen non division home favorites off a win with
- 5:39steam $0.10 or more in their direction, 16 and two to start
- 5:43the season, 89% with a 44% ROI. And then we also have a home
- 5:49favorite off a win versus an opponent off a loss. 20 and
- 5:52seven this year, 74% with a 21% ROI.
- 5:56So a lot of matches here on the Twinkies.
- 5:58Then lastly, it's a very low total total open at around 7
- 6:021/2. It's now down to seven at most
- 6:04shops. You might still find a 7 1/2
- 6:06really just under. But the total has fallen and the
- 6:09line has moved toward Minnesota. So, you know, theoretically
- 6:12that's telling you maybe Minnesota wins a low scoring
- 6:14game. We always like a correlative
- 6:16favorite low total because the fair amount of expected run
- 6:19scored more likely to come from quote UN quote the better team
- 6:22who's favored to win. So you add it all up here, guys.
- 6:25Publix take in Houston Lions going to Minnesota.
- 6:28Good faith. The trendy dog bet split bunch
- 6:30of system matches, correlative betting favorite low total.
- 6:33I'm starting the day hopefully fingers crossed with a win.
- 6:36Let's go Twinkies. I got Minnesota at -138 I
- 6:40believe that was a FanDuel next one, 7:05 PM Eastern Time
- 6:44tonight, the D backs and the Yankees.
- 6:46I'm looking for some revenge here because the Yankees let us
- 6:49down last night and sadly we got to sweat Carlos Carrasco.
- 6:52But maybe I'll turn back the clock and be the old Carrasco
- 6:55for the the Indians back in the day.
- 6:57But anyway, let's set the stage. The D backs four and two.
- 7:00They've won the first two games of this three-game interleague
- 7:02series. They took the opener 7:00 to
- 7:045:00 as a -, 125 road favorite and again broke our hearts
- 7:07yesterday. They won four to three as a +
- 7:09125 road dog. So pitch match up here.
- 7:12I alluded to it. It looks obvious take since take
- 7:15Arizona Merrill Kelly one and O 1.69 ERA Yankees with Carlos
- 7:20Carrasco O&O 13.5 O ERA. However, this scheme opened at
- 7:25basically a pick em minus one O 5 -, 110 both sides.
- 7:29And what we've seen is movement not toward Merrill Kelly in the
- 7:32red hot Arizona D backs, but movement toward the Yankees
- 7:36again, who let us down the last last night and last two nights.
- 7:39Have you played in both nights? And then also, you know, have a
- 7:41pitcher on the bump on paper looks like the far worst pitcher
- 7:44here. However, we've seen the Yankees
- 7:47get steamed up -110 remember pick em opener up to now -120 so
- 7:52a good $0.10 steam move in favor of the Bronx Bombers.
- 7:55The bet split looks pretty good in favor of the Yankees.
- 7:57The Yankees 73% of bets over 80% of dollars at DraftKings on New
- 8:03York and at Circa, Yankees are getting 70% of money line bets,
- 8:0698% of money line dollars. So both books you know, National
- 8:11Public, DraftKings and Sharp wise guy Desert book Circo
- 8:14showing good low bets, higher dollars pro and Joe in favor of
- 8:19the Yankees here. Maybe the public just says hey
- 8:21Yankees are due, they lost the 1st 2, avoid the sweep.
- 8:24Whereas the wise guys are saying hey, we saw value in the number
- 8:27itself. Maybe they had this game close
- 8:29to -120 to begin with, which is why when it opened -110 they
- 8:33hammered New York 'cause that line move in favor of the Bronx
- 8:36Bombers. Now system matches quite a few
- 8:38on the Yankees here, number one interleague favorite.
- 8:41Again, lack of familiarity benefiting the better team.
- 8:44But I call this the fade or avoid the sweep system.
- 8:47So if it's it's a three-game set, you lost the first two
- 8:50games and your favorite in the third game.
- 8:52That system is 144 and 82 this year, 64 or sorry, this is since
- 8:582022. Big sample size, 144 and 8264
- 9:01percent, 7% ROI. Favorites, awful loss, 22 and 12
- 9:06this year, 65 percent, 10% ROI. Interleague, home favorites who
- 9:10made the playoffs the previous year, 13 and five this year, 72
- 9:15percent, 20% ROI. Since the start of last year,
- 9:18that system is 144 and 8463% with a 4% ROI.
- 9:24So all those systems lighting up on the Yankees.
- 9:27Now, I did see a lot of people hit this over at open 9 1/2.
- 9:30It's now been bet up to 10. Kind of missed the 9 1/2 value.
- 9:34Might be, you know, a little bit gone here, but at DraftKings
- 9:37over is 58% bets, 87% dollars and the wind is blowing out at
- 9:42Yankee Stadium 70° eight to 10 mile per hour winds blowing out
- 9:45to left center. So that would be a windy over
- 9:47system match. But I'm going to go down the
- 9:49ship here again. I will call this like the
- 9:51Cardinals play member. Cardinals let us down play them
- 9:54again to bounce back. They came through well, Yankees
- 9:56let us down last night. Hopefully they can show up
- 9:59today. Maybe Carrasco can limit the
- 10:01damage or maybe the bats can come alive.
- 10:03The torpedo bats for New York. What happened with the torpedo
- 10:05bats? You, you launch 9 bombs and
- 10:07torpedo bats are the Taco MLB. Where?
- 10:10Where were the bats last night? We needed them.
- 10:12Well, hopefully they show up today.
- 10:14Give me the Yankees. I got New York at -120 last bat
- 10:19of the night. Cincinnati Red Legs and the
- 10:21Milwaukee Brew Crew, 7:40 PM Eastern Time, first pitch.
- 10:25The Reds come in two and four. Drop two or three against the
- 10:28Rangers. Let us down yesterday, losing 1.
- 10:30Nothing as around a -, 135 home favorite.
- 10:33You know the Brew Crew two and four as well.
- 10:35They just took two or three against the Royals.
- 10:37They won an extras three to two yesterday as a -, 125 home
- 10:41favorite. So what have you seen across the
- 10:43board? Well, first starting pitcher
- 10:44matchup looks obvious to take the Reds.
- 10:46They got lefty Nick Lodolo on the bump.
- 10:49One O 1 and O ERA of three Brewers going with Nestor
- 10:53Cortez. Get ready for this O and 1 ERA
- 10:55of 36. Remember he was the one who
- 10:58coughed up all those homers with a torpedo bats and the Yankees.
- 11:01So obvious take, you know Ladolo over Cortez, right?
- 11:05However, just like the Yankee game, this game opened at a pick
- 11:07em basically -110 both sides public doesn't know what to do.
- 11:12Both teams have the same record. You know Brewers are at home,
- 11:15but yet they're starting a pitcher who's got a terrible
- 11:17ERA. So public doesn't know what to
- 11:18do 5050. What do we always talk about
- 11:21when it comes to 5050 bet splits?
- 11:23You can throw away contrarian value.
- 11:25There's no public bias to bet against.
- 11:27But theoretically, 5050 line shouldn't move at all yet.
- 11:30If you see a move, you know, I'm going to go with the team
- 11:33getting the move because again, you probably shouldn't have to
- 11:35move it if the action split, you know, theoretically, and that's
- 11:38what we've seen here, 5050 split at DraftKings and Circle Public
- 11:41doesn't know what to do. But the sign has crept up toward
- 11:43the Brew Crew opening around -110 like the Yankees, they're
- 11:47up to around -120 so if you like the Yankees, you like Milwaukee
- 11:52or vice versa. Both open at a pick, both $0.10
- 11:54of steam toward the home team. Now some system matches here for
- 11:59the Brew Crew home favorites, as you mentioned, they are 40 and
- 12:0220 this year, 67 percent, 11% ROI home favorites off a win
- 12:07playing an opponent off a loss 20 and 774% with a 21% ROI.
- 12:12We also have a bit of a favorite low total correlative betting
- 12:15play as this is a very low total of 8, not quite the seven in the
- 12:19Minnesota game, but Milwaukee Sensi total of eight favorite is
- 12:24Milwaukee. Again, correlative betting,
- 12:26fewer amount of expected runs scored, more likely to come from
- 12:29quote UN quote that better team. So we got a pick em game.
- 12:32We've steamed up toward Milwaukee.
- 12:34It's fishy, but I'm going to buy low on Cortez, sell high and
- 12:37Ladolo. Give me the brew crew.
- 12:39Let's brew some beer tonight. I got Milwaukee at -120 so 3
- 12:43relatively short favorites. Can we go 2 and 1?
- 12:46He got a winning day. Twins -138, Yankees -120
- 12:50Milwaukee -120. Now, one more thing that I
- 12:53wanted to mention is I played a futures bet in Major League
- 12:56Baseball. A player prop future last night
- 12:59as I was watching the Red Sox game and it happened to be a
- 13:04play on the AL Rookie of the Year.
- 13:07So if you've been, you know, new to this market, obviously, you
- 13:11know, markets in general when we look at futures, player prop
- 13:14futures or, you know, division winners or win totals, I'm
- 13:17obviously looking at what the betting market is doing.
- 13:19You know what the data is telling me.
- 13:20I constantly get these emails from my good buddy John Ewing at
- 13:24Bet MGM who can give me the bets in dollars for all the different
- 13:27major categories. So I, I look at that and then I
- 13:30also kind of try to, you know, put a little bit of my own
- 13:34anticipation in terms of a play of, of, of a value bet where
- 13:37we're getting a good number. Like, for example, Stefan Castle
- 13:40for the Rookie of the year in the NBA.
- 13:42We played that at, I think I got plus 175.
- 13:44I think he's now like -700 so it's not just the data, but it's
- 13:48also, you know, trying to pick off a good number before it
- 13:51moves too much. And I was watching the Red Sox
- 13:53game and the Red Sox earlier in the day yesterday signed a long
- 13:57term extension with Christian Campbell.
- 13:59If you never heard of this guy, he really has blazed through the
- 14:03minor league system. He made the team, he's off to a
- 14:05great start, already hit a Homer.
- 14:07He had a hit or a couple hits last night and he looks like the
- 14:10real deal. And they just signed him to a
- 14:12big extension. I think it was eight years, 60
- 14:14million, which kind of seems low.
- 14:17Seems like a pretty good, you know, a pretty good, you know,
- 14:20kind of, you know, contract for the team versus the player.
- 14:24There's talk of if, you know, Scott Boris is Christian
- 14:26Campbell's guy. He's probably not signing that
- 14:28deal. He's just going to, you know,
- 14:29you know, play it out and probably make more money.
- 14:32But anyway, they locked him up and he had a couple hits and
- 14:35he's playing second base and he looks really good.
- 14:38And I'm saying to myself, hey, you know, what's what are his
- 14:41rookie of the year odds. So shout out to Juice Reel, who
- 14:44there's a great tab on Juice Trail.
- 14:45If you go to futures, it gives you all the different markets
- 14:48and gives you the best numbers. And I noticed that Christian
- 14:51Campbell is now the favorite to win Rookie of the Year.
- 14:54But there's one book in particular that is holding a
- 14:57very good number on Christian Campbell.
- 14:59So Christian Campbell currently at Caesar's is still +400.
- 15:05Now, if you look at some of these other books across the
- 15:08market, and I'll pull them up right now on my Juice Trail app,
- 15:11you can just go to the your main page where it says today's
- 15:14games. Just scroll to the side.
- 15:15You can click view all or go to futures and you go to futures
- 15:18and you find the Rookie of the year results and you go to
- 15:24American League Rookie of the Year.
- 15:26So I'm doing it right now as we're speaking and Christian
- 15:29Campbell +400. Now why is that important?
- 15:32Because if you look at all the current odds, let's just look
- 15:35around the market. ESPN bet has Christian Campbell
- 15:37plus 210 FanDuel has in plus 195 Bedham Jim has in plus 180
- 15:43Caesars and Will Hill also has it at +400.
- 15:48So this is a player that I'm high on.
- 15:50You know, they've talked to, they've hyped this kid up and
- 15:51he's lived up to the hype. He's looking pretty good.
- 15:54I was looking at this was from about a week ago.
- 15:57I don't have the up to date data, but at the time Campbell
- 15:59open at plus 1100, he was getting 8% bets, 10% dollars.
- 16:04So the only player getting more money was Jacob Wilson, but he
- 16:08hasn't been that impressive to start the year.
- 16:10So anyway, I said, you know what, we'll take a shot on
- 16:12Christian Campbell. I'm getting a pretty pretty good
- 16:13number +400. Other books are like half of
- 16:16that. Why not take a shot on a player
- 16:19who looks really good and then again plays through the minor
- 16:21leagues and looks at home in the major leagues.
- 16:24So if you want to take a shot on Christian Campbell, plus 400 is
- 16:28the number I got and I put that into the juice drill app if you
- 16:31want to follow it. So just wanted to mention that
- 16:33now over to some college hoops because we have the final four
- 16:38coming up here on Saturday. Both games are Saturday late
- 16:42afternoon, 6 O clock for Florida Auburn, 849 for Houston Duke.
- 16:47Now one play that I I put in yesterday in the app, which I
- 16:51said, you know what, I think this might be the best number
- 16:53and we have a pretty good edge. It is the Houston Cougars plus 5
- 16:581/2. Now there's a lot of shops at
- 16:595:00. There's a lot of five and a
- 17:01half. Most of them are 5 1/2 -, 120
- 17:03toward Houston. So part of my reasoning to play
- 17:06Houston plus 5 1/2 on a, you know, yesterday was a Wednesday
- 17:09few days before the game, is that I want to make sure if they
- 17:12lose by 5, I get the hook. I, I would hate to miss the
- 17:14hook. It closes 5 or maybe even 4 1/2
- 17:17comes back down toward Houston and I didn't get the best
- 17:20number. So part of this play is getting
- 17:21the best number. I got 5 1/2 + 5 1/2 at -115 I
- 17:26believe, I think it was Bet MGM. But again, others are -120 and
- 17:29others are even down to 5. So I'm not going to call Houston
- 17:33a sharp bet because this line has moved toward Duke.
- 17:35Duke open -4 1/2. We bet up to 5 1/2.
- 17:38But again, they're starting to crawl back down to five.
- 17:41But here's what intrigues me about Houston.
- 17:42Number one is the fact that they are a really big contrarian
- 17:46play. No one wants to play Houston.
- 17:48Everyone's all over the dookies. This is a, this is a basically
- 17:51almost a championship game. You know, consider this NFL like
- 17:54AFCNFC championship game, your final four.
- 17:56So it's going to be very heavily bet, and we're in a really good
- 18:00contrarian spot to fade Duke and play Houston.
- 18:03At DraftKings, Houston's only getting 31% of spread bets.
- 18:06At Serco, they're only getting 39% of spread bets, but nearly
- 18:09half the money. So just from the standpoint of
- 18:12inflated line value play, open 4 1/2, we can get 5 1/2 and we're
- 18:16against the public. Again, not sharp, but a value
- 18:19play. This is where you get even a
- 18:21little bit more excited. Ken Palm has Houston only losing
- 18:25by two points, 68 to 66. So if we're getting 5 1/2,
- 18:29pretty good edge. Our friends at Rhythm, I have 3
- 18:32models on this game. I have Houston plus 4, Houston
- 18:35plus 4.3 and Houston plus 3.7. So if we average those out to
- 18:40four, Ken Palms got a 2 point game.
- 18:43Rhythm has a four point game. We're against the public and
- 18:46getting a 5 1/2 with a Houston team that again is is just
- 18:50junkyard dogs playing great defense and pretty good offense
- 18:54efficiency as well. That's a relatively low total.
- 18:57It has fallen 137 down to 136 and a half 136.
- 19:01Think I even see a 135 1/2 right now.
- 19:04I said, you know what, that's enough for me.
- 19:06Ken Palms got a 2 point game. Rhythms got a four point game.
- 19:09We're against the public and we're getting 5 1/2 and that may
- 19:11be the best number, but if it falls to 5:00.
- 19:14So I put in Houston Cougars plus 5 1/2.
- 19:18The other one I'm monitoring is Auburn, but I'm holding out for
- 19:21Auburn +3 Now. Similarly, everyone's on
- 19:25Florida. If you look at Auburn, they're
- 19:27only getting 30% of bets at Circa and 35% of bets at
- 19:31DraftKings. So once again, just to fade all
- 19:34the drunk guys at the bar public play for the Final four.
- 19:38But if you look at Circa, only 30% bets on Auburn, but 64% of
- 19:44the dollars. So good bet split.
- 19:46There's also been a bit of a line freeze.
- 19:47You open Florida -2 1/2 and they really have not moved off 2 1/2.
- 19:51So if everyone's playing Florida, why aren't they up to
- 19:54three? 3 1/2?
- 19:55They are juicing it up a little bit toward Florida -2 1/2 -,
- 19:58115. But they don't want to go to
- 20:00three despite getting this huge preponderance of Gators money.
- 20:04That tells me they're more concerned about the contrarian
- 20:06Auburn side. So I'm going to, I'm going to
- 20:09wait. You know, if this was plus 2 1/2
- 20:11-, 115 Florida, I'd say grab it now.
- 20:13It might fall to two, but I'm going to give it another day,
- 20:16see if it gets to three. We do have Ken Palm predicting
- 20:19just a one point loss. He's got Florida winning 81 to
- 20:2280. And my three rhythm models are
- 20:24+2. Plus 2.2 and plus 1.8.
- 20:28So that to me, speaks speaks toward a value play here on
- 20:32Auburn. But again, I'm going to hold
- 20:34out. I'm going to be a little bit
- 20:35careful here. Walk the tightrope, try to get a
- 20:36three. If not, I'll take 2 1/2.
- 20:38Let's see if maybe a lot of public money flows in and they
- 20:41have to go to three because it's such overwhelming liability.
- 20:44But I'm officially in pocket Houston plus 5 1/2 and I'm
- 20:48holding out for Auburn +3 and that total did fall too.
- 20:51That was 161 down to 160. I even see some 159 1/2's out
- 20:55there. But those are some early final
- 20:58four plays and thoughts. So that about does it for
- 21:01episode 249 of the All Systems Go Sports Betting podcast on a
- 21:04big Thursday. I want to remind you guys, if
- 21:07you are around or have Sirius, XMI will be on VSN Live tonight
- 21:12with my buddy Dustin Swedelsen and my guy Patrick Maher.
- 21:15So you can TuneIn to the V Sin channel on SiriusXM.
- 21:19That'll be at 8:30 We go on or 8:00 I think.
- 21:22Yeah, I believe it's 8:00. Hope to see you guys there.
- 21:25But of course, as we wrap up the pod, first thing I always want
- 21:28to say is thank you. You know, win, lose or draw, you
- 21:30guys, TuneIn you listen. And it means a lot to me that
- 21:32we've created this community. Tail fade, pick, choose,
- 21:35whatever. The fact that you tune in, you
- 21:37value the insights means the world to me.
- 21:39So thank you for taking the time out of your day, out of your
- 21:42busy lives, pulling up a chair to the virtual bar.
- 21:44So and some sharp contrarian breakdowns.
- 21:46If you do enjoy the pod, if you value the insights, could you
- 21:49please do me a solid give it a five star review only takes a
- 21:52second or two. If you're in Spotify or iTunes,
- 21:55go to rate and review five stars.
- 21:57If you want to leave a nice comment or click the follow
- 21:59button or recommend the pod to a friend.
- 22:01That would all be very much appreciated.
- 22:04Next, if you enjoy the style of betting breakdown, data-driven,
- 22:07sharp contrarian betting, you know, staring at the odds page,
- 22:10looking at the splits, seeing how the market is reacting,
- 22:13trying to uncover where the smart money's at based on line
- 22:16movement and system matches. If this style of betting appeals
- 22:19to you and you want to learn more about data-driven betting,
- 22:22or you have a friend or colleague or cousin or someone
- 22:25you know who is in a newly legalized, you know, sports
- 22:28gambling state or wants to get in on it and says I want to bet,
- 22:31but I have no freaking clue how to place a bet, Well, guess
- 22:34what? There are a couple books that I
- 22:36would love for you guys to purchase.
- 22:38Go to Amazon.com and type in the Everything Guide to Sports
- 22:41Betting. It's the first book I ever
- 22:42wrote. Very proud of it came out in
- 22:442019. That baby is now almost six
- 22:47years old. Crazy, but still holds true.
- 22:49I think provides a blueprint how to bet on sports, your options,
- 22:53how to go contrarian, how to read line movement, how to
- 22:55locate sharp action, how to place a bet in person or online,
- 22:58how to shop for the best line, how to set up a bankroll
- 23:00management plan. So if you want to pick one up
- 23:03from from Amazon.com and have Bezos drop it off of your at
- 23:06your front porch with a drone, that would mean a lot to me.
- 23:09Also, if you want to help me continue to generate buzz around
- 23:13my new book, it comes out August 12th, go pre-order a copy from
- 23:17Amazon of the NFL sharp betting playbook.
- 23:20It's got I don't want to give away too much because I want it
- 23:22to be a little bit of a surprise, but it's really
- 23:25something I've been working on for over three years at this
- 23:27point. And I actually got all the pages
- 23:31sent to me. It's it's getting ready to get
- 23:32printed out. So we're working on the final,
- 23:35you know, dot in the T's, dot in the IS and crossing the T's, but
- 23:38I cannot wait for you guys to read it.
- 23:39It's all about how to bet the NFL from a data-driven
- 23:42perspective. So if you want to pre-order it
- 23:44from Amazon.com or purchase the everything guide to sports
- 23:46betting, you know, bring the book or your pre-order receipt
- 23:50to to the sports book. I'll sign them for you.
- 23:52I'll buy you beer or ginger ale and we'll sweat some games
- 23:54together. Next, if you haven't done it
- 23:56yet, go download juice reel and rhythm, my two favorite sports
- 23:59betting apps, Rhythm for their AI backed models and predictions
- 24:02for game bets and player props. We got MLB live in the app right
- 24:06now. We got NBA college basketball of
- 24:08course, and then also juice rail where you can find the all
- 24:12systems go best bet picks for $4.99 a week again, get some
- 24:16closing line value hopefully, but I always mention this the
- 24:19pod is free cost you nothing to listen to this pod If you enjoy
- 24:22and value the insights. I would hope and and think and
- 24:26I'm pretty confident that they're worth $4.99 a week.
- 24:29If I can help you win one bet, hopefully that's worth the the 5
- 24:31bucks, but I'd love for you guys to, you know, throw a throw a
- 24:35$5.00 bill in the tip jar and sign up to get those all systems
- 24:38go best bet picks. You can just go to the juice
- 24:41reel app, the social tab and search ASG under score podcast,
- 24:45or you can always click that link.
- 24:46I tweet out late afternoon at Josh under score insights.
- 24:50But aside from the all systems go best bets, you're going to
- 24:53get the juice Reel Robo Jackson best bet picks each day that
- 24:58come out at noon. You also get the sharp mush
- 25:00indicators, the shop for the best line futures, where I
- 25:02quickly found Caesar's having the best number on Christian
- 25:05Campbell. And then you'll also get all of
- 25:08the betting breakdowns, bets and dollars from everyone who synced
- 25:11up their sports books to juice real.
- 25:13And also one thing I like about juice real, I tweet this out
- 25:15every now and again is it gives you like a sweat meter when
- 25:18you're sweating a game, you know, it'll show you in in red
- 25:21or green, like how well you're doing and you can kind of track
- 25:23the progress of the sweat. It's a pretty cool feature.
- 25:26It just kind of shows you the roller coaster ride you take on
- 25:28every sports bet that you make. So download rhythm, download
- 25:30Juice reel go give him a five star review in the App Store
- 25:34next. If you don't have a live odds
- 25:36page, man, I feel for you. I don't know how you're betting
- 25:39on sports without knowing all the games available to you each
- 25:41day, all the opening numbers, all the current numbers,
- 25:44shopping for the best line, pulling up the line history in
- 25:47between each game. I don't know how you how you can
- 25:49do it. You're flying blind if you don't
- 25:50have it. So I think you need a live odds
- 25:53page. I actually know you need a live
- 25:54odds page and if you don't have one, or maybe you're paying for
- 25:57one that's kind of expensive, you should give Odds Logic a
- 26:00shot. I have a link.
- 26:02You should go to itsoddslogic.com/josh 123.
- 26:07That's Odds logic.com/josh 123. And if you go there, you'll get
- 26:12a 7 day free trial. So you can test it out, see if
- 26:14you like it. And then you're going to get 50%
- 26:16off your first month, which it's typically 99 bucks a month.
- 26:20Again, I always say this, it sounds like a lot, but in
- 26:22comparison, there are live odds pages out there for 200, three,
- 26:25105 hundred, 600 bucks a month. So it's a great value play.
- 26:29And if you're listening to my voice, I assume you love betting
- 26:31and you bet everyday. You got to have a live odds
- 26:33page. So again, go to
- 26:34oddslogic.com/josh 123. So that about does it for
- 26:38today's pod on a big thirsty Thursday.
- 26:40See if we can get some winners here.
- 26:42Also shout out to Boof my guy, my cousin, my cousin in law now,
- 26:47Michael Boofner, The Yankees let us down last night, but you know
- 26:49what, buddy? They're going to come through
- 26:51for us tonight. Hope married life is treating
- 26:52you right. And I'm very, very, very honored
- 26:55and proud that you married my cousin Carly got a winner and
- 26:58and so did you. But anyway, as always, leave you
- 27:01with this, whether I see you at the Borgata in Atlantic City,
- 27:04Twin River in Rhode Island, the Brook of New Hampshire, Foxwoods
- 27:07or Mohegan Sun, down in Connecticut, at the Encore in
- 27:09Boston, or Plain Ridge Park Casino or MGM Springfield or the
- 27:13Nash in National New Hampshire. In my neck of the woods.
- 27:15Or of course, out in the desert where the true grinders get
- 27:18down, where Billy Walter sends his number runners, where the
- 27:20lowest juice possible is found at the South Point or sweat and
- 27:23sharp Contrane plays jumping in the stadium swimming pool when
- 27:26he cashed a big ticket at Circa. Wherever it may be.
- 27:28You're going to walk up to me. You show me a beautiful finally,
- 27:32a Cardinals ticket, a winner. They came through for us.
- 27:34Or a Padres ticket. No Reds, no Yankees.
- 27:37They let us down, but guess what?
- 27:39First one's on me, next one's on you.
- 27:40We're going to get some food, couple drinks, sweat, some games
- 27:43together at the book, as always, Two and two, four and OO and
- 27:47four, three and one, one and three.
- 27:49Again, the blueprint, the model never changes.
- 27:52We continue to grind our way, making sharp bets with our head
- 27:55and not our heart. And if we can find games that
- 27:57fit that model against the public, with the house, with the
- 27:59pros, flat bet, avoid parlays, get that closing line value.
- 28:03If we can do that, we're going to be successful sports vetters.
- 28:06So have a great Thursday, everybody.
- 28:08I will see you if you are around tonight, 8:00 on SiriusXM.
- 28:14Well, we're all be on V some live, but if not, guys, we'll be
- 28:16right back at it tomorrow on a big Friday.
- 28:19That'll be episode 250 of the all systems go sports betting
- 28:22podcast powered by rhythm. Good luck everybody, and have a
- 28:26great Thirsty Thursday.
