If you're pregnant and this is something that you're wanting to do, it is the place for you. Lots of amazing things in there. So today we're gonna focus on kind of like put a spotlight on one of the biggest aspects that you'll learn inside of the pregnancy framework course. it's it's on the spiritual aspect. Okay, so we're gonna start with reading from the book of Luke and reading a passage from there and just diving deep into the spiritual aspect of finally getting pregnant. In what do we need to do to support our body? So, as I'm going to expand on later in this episode, I am a firm believer that wherever our spirit is, our soul, in relation to God, it directly impacts our physical body and our emotional being, and it impacts our baby. I truly believe that. So the most important thing to do. once we finally get pregnant, is not to call our doctor, is not to call our or text our midwife. It's not to even tell our husband. I I mean I'm sure you've already told him, right? But it's not to try to control. The first and most important thing that we must do is we're going to learn from Mary. So I am in Luke chapter one, verses 26 through 38. And we are going to read about this story of when Mary found out, this was even before she conceived, and how she responded. And her response is such a beautiful example of what how we are called to respond in receiving a gift of life that God has given. So, verse 26. In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth. To a virgin betrothed, to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin's name was Mary. And he came to her and said, Greetings, O favored One, the Lord is with you. But she was greatly troubled at this saying, and tried to discern what sort of greeting this might be. And the angel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God, and behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son. And you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end. And Mary said to the angel, How will this be, since I am a virgin? And the angel answered her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you. And the power of the most high will overshadow you. Therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the son of God. And behold, your relative Elizabeth, in her old age, has also conceived a son, and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren, for nothing will be impossible with God. And Mary said, Behold, I am the servant of the Lord. Let it be to me according to your word. And the angel departed from her. So this is the story of when the angel Gabriel was sent from God to sweet, little, young, innocent, humble Mary. She was a nobody. but she loved God with her whole being. she loved him with her whole being, and she accepted this kind of crazy thing. That happened. I mean, I can't imagine what it would be like to have an angel sent to me and be told these incredible things. And ultimately she had the most graceful response. And that's what we're going to highlight on today. So when Mary, so after Gabriel said, You are going to be conceive by through the power of the Holy Spirit. And he also highlights Elizabeth, her cousin, I believe it was her cousin, and how Elizabeth had conceived in her old age. And it shouldn't have happened, but she was six months pregnant and she had been called barren. And then Gabriel says, nothing will be impossible with God. And then Mary said, I am the servant of the Lord. Let it be. Let be. And that's what we're going to highlight on. So Mary responded, I'm not sure if she responded in it was most likely Aramaic. It may have been Greek. but i either the Aramaic or the Greek of this written word in this holy gospel of Luke. it was translated by Jerome in, I think it was about 400 into Latin. And Latin was the commonly held language. And in Latin, this phrase, let it be, is fiat, F-I-A-T, fiat. And if you guys have been listening to me for a long time, that word fiat might sound familiar because I am a certified fiat hormone coach. the hormone coaching program, it's through the Fiat Institute. And in this institute, we love Jesus and we have been trained for how to support women in their fertility journeys and in their hormones and in their cycles in such a way where we are also spiritually surrendering to the Lord and saying fiat to God for what he has in store for us, just as Mary said to the angel Gabriel, fiat, let it be, let it be to me according to your word. And so the very first thing that we want to do when we discover that we are pregnant, and maybe you've, you know, you discovered a couple of weeks ago or recently or something like that. It's not like this very moment you're like, my gosh, I just got a positive pregnancy test and I just happen to pull up this podcast. Like wherever you're at, and even if you haven't done this yet, I I am imploring you to do this is to have a really beautiful time of prayer with the Lord and offering up or consecrating how what however you want to say it, but just giving up this precious gift of life back to him. He gave it to you. It was a huge grace and a mercy and a miraculous event that our creator God created life within you. And all glory is to him. And so so what we want to do is we want to offer this precious gift back to him. We want to willfully surrender our own body, our own soul and our mind To God. We want to willfully surrender this child's life to God. us as women, we have this thing where we really, really try to control like everything in our lives, in our family's life, in our husband's life, in our kids' lives, or whatever. Like we just kind of have this knack for wanting to have it all together, wanting to have a plan and in thinking that we know what's going to happen and thinking that. you know, maybe we know best, like, yeah, this is the plan. This is the plan that should happen. And ultimately, that's not a surrendered heart in those are not surrendered hands to the Lord. And that is how we are called to live as believers in Jesus Christ, is to be willfully surrendered to the will of the Father. And so when we find that God has graced us with this gift of life, our next call. Is to respond back to him with open hands, Lord, let it be. Whatever this is, whatever you are asking me to do, let it be. We are to willfully surrender the life of this child to God. in such a manner that we would say this to Jesus Christ, just as Mary said, fiat, let it be, to Gabriel when she accepted this pregnancy of Jesus Christ. and she accepted all that it meant, all the The entire magnitude of being Jesus' mother, a mother to God Himself, a mother to the perfect child, the child of joy, a child who would grow into a man of grave, grave sorrow in his persecution and in his crucifixion, a mother who was present in this persecution and in this crucifixion, and a mother who was present yet again when he was resurrected and given new life. So that he could give new life to all of humanity. She was a mother who witnessed her son ascending into heaven. I mean, like, dang, this motherhood journey that Mary had, I mean, it's nothing. It's it's just it's it's nothing compared to like what we could ever go through as mothers. it's it's absolutely incredible. And so, my dear sister, with this precious child that God has given you, the call for you is to embrace the fiat. The let it be type of faith that Mary embraced in her motherhood through all that it encompassed, with the joys of her motherhood and with the sorrows of her motherhood. She didn't know at the time of Gabriel's announcement all that she would endure. But you as well, at the moment of this announcement of this positive pregnancy test, you don't know all that is to come. But the challenge for you is can you, along with the same faith in Mary, say to our Lord, let it be, without knowing all that is to come for this pregnancy and for the life of this child. So like I said in the beginning, the body, our body, our physical body, and our mind, our state of being, they are going to follow the state of our soul and our spirit. So the first thing we need to do is to place ourselves in this state of fiat before the Lord of God, let whatever come may be, let your will be done. and I I am a firm believer that this will bless your body, it will bless your mind and your baby in such a magnitude that I can't even describe, I can't even put it into words. so this is the spiritual offering of giving this life back to the Lord, similarly to how Hannah. And first Samuel did. She had been praying and praying and praying for a child, and she had waited so long and she had endured so much suffering and so much hardship and persecution. And then the Lord gave her this child, and she immediately gave it right back to God. And whoa, that's really beautiful and very difficult. And that is what we're called to embrace and offer before the Lord. So If you are looking for the steps to follow to continue to care for your body and mind after you have offered your spirit up in this way to the Lord, I would love to invite you again to come and join this course called Pregnancy Framework. And you will continue to learn how to surrender this pregnancy spiritually to the Lord. And of course, you know I'm going to give you all of the juicy, extraordinarily helpful physical tools to care for your body and baby. we dive deep into things like nutrition and lab work to ask for, especially immediately once you get pregnant. you know, what kind of conversations or what to ask your doctor or your medical provider for or your midwife. We talk about supplementation, we talk about herbs, we talk about exercise, we talk about all the things that are extraordinarily important in learning for how to support this life. We are not controlling, we are embracing knowledge and we are responsibly living it out. in submission to the Lord and in a surrender to the Lord. So as Jesus instructs us, and I always highlight this, let's not forget we need to seek first His kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you. We don't want to worry, we don't want to go down rabbit holes or Googling or crazy AI searches or anything like that. Cause that is seeking the wisdom of the world. Or frankly, the wisdom of a robot. And Jesus is say, hey, seek me. Seek me. So I implore you to consecrate this child to the Lord, to give this baby back to him. And then come join me in Pregnancy Framework for all the steps to follow in supporting this incredible gift of life that God has given. You can go to Beccayawn.com/slash pregnancy framework and check it out and get started. read the FAQ. We are focused on the entire pregnancy, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and that's so important. So come join me inside of there. And in the meantime, let me pray over you. Lord Jesus, we just come before you. I thank you so much for today. I thank you for this beautiful message that I feel so honored to be able to share with my sister in Christ, who is so treasured and so blessed and so honored to have received an incredible, miraculous creation of a precious baby inside of her womb. All praise and glory to you. Lord Jesus, thank you so much. Father, I just pray for A blessing upon her. I pray for a blessing upon her baby. I pray for a blessing upon her her spouse, her partner, Lord, her husband. And I just pray that you would grace this family with blessings, Lord. And God, if if hardships do come, if you will for hardships to come, we praise you that you never leave her nor forsake her, and that you will give her the courage and strength that she needs to endure, and that you will unite her more closely with Christ. throughout this journey, whether it is a journey of joy or a journey of sorrow, or it's a mix, God, we praise you that you are with her through it all. And we humbly ask for that blessing that it would be a beautiful, healthy, noncomplicated pregnancy delivery and postpartum. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
