God's Plan and Purpose for Marriage
This week we will be talking about how there is an incredible amount of intentionality in God's design for our relationships. God designed men and women for the purpose of worshiping Him and marrying each other before the creation of the world (Gen. 1 & 2). This means His plan for marriage is to be between one man and one woman for life as a living testimony of the love Christ has for His church (Eph. 5:25). Because we, the Bride of Christ (2 Cor. 11:2), are waiting for our Bridegroom to return, we must stay ready (Matt. 25:1-13) and remain pure (1 Cor. 6:18) by not stirring up or awakening…
