The NBA Trade Deadline is Thursday, and it's looking more and more like the Lakers won't be willing and/or able to make a move.
It's looking like the two major forces influencing the team's approach — first a lack of appealing assets to offer another team, and a reported willingness and/or preference for keeping flexibility and opening cap space this summer — are winning out. Both of these strategies are related, obviously.
