Burns Workload Management Tested | Cincinnati Reds News
Chase Burns is dominating for the Reds this season with a 14-3 record and a stellar 2.77 ERA, logging career highs in innings—but the team’s watching his workload closely. After a shaky start, Burns hinted they might dial back his pitch count to 75-80 per outing instead of the usual 95-100. First test? Sunday Night Baseball vs. the Cubs in Chicago—where a win could salvage the series. First pitch at 7:20 PM ET on NBC or Peacock, with rookie Edwin Arroyo starting at third base.
