- 0:01SPEAKER_00: I've just woken up and I'm like, I have no energy left.
- 0:04SPEAKER_01: We're both like, I know.
- 0:05SPEAKER_02: You're waking up and I'm like an hour and a half from my normal bedtime.
- 0:08SPEAKER_01: So oh god, we're gonna try.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: We're gonna try.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: We're gonna get through.
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: It's okay.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: We had a busy weekend though this past weekend.
- 0:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 0:18unknown: Yeah.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: So we're gonna get through.
- 0:20SPEAKER_02: Lots went on.
- 0:21unknown: Yeah.
- 0:22SPEAKER_02: In this can we only have what?
- 0:23SPEAKER_02: A show, two shows.
- 0:24SPEAKER_02: I've been good, just busy, tired, the usual, but um how was uh how's being back home?
- 0:30SPEAKER_02: How's everything?
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: It's very lovely, it's nice to be back, like it's nice being post-show and not having like shows inside or not thinking at least for the next four weeks about shows and stuff like that.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: It's that it's just it feels like complete, you know?
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: And I'm kind of slightly more digesting like what I've done this fucking season because I don't think I actually have fully yet.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: So it's nice to actually be like, okay, like my friends are like, you do realize what you've just done, right?
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, yes and no, like I'm already moving on to like the next thing, and they're like, no, we're celebrating this for the next like month.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, okay, so it's nicer because I have people around me to keep reminding me, like, no, you've just done really fucking good.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: Because I'm very, very much the type of person to be like, cool, next thing, you know.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: Um, so yeah, celebrate your wins and celebrate your just achievements in 2026 for sure.
- 1:22SPEAKER_02: Um now you get to chill a bit and do things that you like enjoy doing every day.
- 1:26SPEAKER_02: I think I saw you went, what did you do the other day?
- 1:28SPEAKER_02: You went to some class or something.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: Was it like that was my first training session, which that was kind of, I mean, it was good, don't get me wrong.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: I loved it, and I love moving my body like that.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: Like, for anyone that doesn't know, I literally did a HIROX in last year, 2025.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: No, 2025.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: Um, and when in my in the midst of my like, I'm you know, not doing bodybuilding, I need to find something else other than bodybuilding.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: I was like, let's do a high rox.
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: And I love moving my body like that.
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: It's weird, like I really enjoy it.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: It's a it's a different way of moving your body.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: And my friend was like, I literally landed on Friday, which my bags it took me 32 hours to get back from Dubai because there were so many delays.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: And then when you text me, I was in Amsterdam, that was when the five-hour delay happened.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: Um, and then my bags didn't show up till 36 hours post I landed.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: So it was great.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: At least you were home.
- 2:23SPEAKER_02: At least you were home.
- 2:24SPEAKER_02: This is the thing.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: I was like, it's fine.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: And I knew this was gonna happen because I was like, it there's just loads of stopovers.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: I know my bags are gonna get lost.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: It's okay.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: I'd kind of like made my peace with that.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: Um, and then my friend was like, Do you want to go to a high rock's class?
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: And I was like, sure, why not?
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm like two a day post landing.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: Let's fucking move my body in that way.
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: Um did you did you ship the bowling ball or were you worried that it was gonna be lost?
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: No, I put it in my bag and wrapped it up in all of my like clothes, and it doesn't actually weigh like that much.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: Like people were like, How did you get that back?
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: And I was like, it doesn't weigh too much.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: So I was able to get it back because I got back the Thorhammer, which literally weighs like 10 pounds, and I like was like, I'm getting it back, I don't care.
- 3:07SPEAKER_02: Um, but see, with your bag showing up like 36 hours late, that's the only thing I would have been thinking of.
- 3:12SPEAKER_02: I was like, that's not replaceable, that better fucking show up.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I was, and the thing is, I feel like recently as well, I've seen loads of people ship trophies or something like that back and in the US, like not even in like like going all the way to Dubai, that's there's no way that's not breaking, or like something's not breaking.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: So I was like, I'm just gonna risk it my own self.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, this week has come kind of been first training sessions back, like the whole post um week post-show, I didn't train.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: Like, I was like, I need to just take it easy and like not move my body.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: Like I made sure I was getting steps in and stuff, but like post-training, I don't know if you want to kind of like talk a little bit about that and what you advise, but like I always like to take a week off because or just see how I feel, just see how I feel.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: Easing into it.
- 3:59SPEAKER_02: I tell everyone it's a time to ease back into things.
- 4:01SPEAKER_02: Like you may your post-show, you're on that adrenaline high, your coach is likely letting you have a free meal the next day, plus calories are gonna taper back up, cardio's down a bit from where it was all the way ramped up, and so you feel like you have this energy, like you feel like your strength is there, but it's not like your joints aren't ready for that, your nervous system's not ready for that.
- 4:23SPEAKER_02: So I tell everyone the first week post-show, that entire training split, just go back in it like 60%.
- 4:29SPEAKER_02: Like, don't try to hit PRs, like get your body moving, get a good pump.
- 4:34SPEAKER_02: If you're feeling really good on like a certain movement, you can go a little bit heavier and get back into the intensity.
- 4:39SPEAKER_02: But then the following week is when we can be really back at it.
- 4:42SPEAKER_02: So that's what I pretty much tell everybody.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like I obviously did the class, and that was really good.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: I took it very, very easy with that one as well.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: But like that shot me.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: Like it was that was it?
- 4:54SPEAKER_02: What was the class?
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: So it was like a functional fitness class.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: So it was like a little bit of running, um, you know, bike, but I took it easy.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: Like there were some lifts that people were like, you know, for example, there was like weights that we had to pick up and put over our head.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: I didn't do that.
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: I literally did like two pound weights.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: It sounded it looks stupid, but I was like, I'm not lifting super heavy or like putting like trying to push myself too much.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: Um, and this week was the first week I got back to training, and like I can feel it.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: Like, it's so funny.
- 5:25SPEAKER_01: I wasn't even probably even near 60%.
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: I was just moving my body and I was like, wow, my body is tired.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: Like it's still like right now, we're about no, we actually yesterday we I checked in and yesterday I was at my peak week weight.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: And I'm not trying to, I'm not trying to be like I've been eating good, I've been eating good, calories are super high.
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: Like, and I've been picking and having more foods off plan as well without tracking.
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: So my body, like, especially being that fragile still or that low still, I'm like, right, let's really take it easy instead of like going balls to the wall.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: Because I've done that.
- 5:59SPEAKER_02: On top of all that, you're talking about a 13-hour time change too, like just getting used to life again.
- 6:04SPEAKER_01: So yeah, but I think it's important because I do think people kind of like again, like you said, they go in and be like, right, I've got all this energy, all this food, which we do, and we want to use it, but don't be stupid and then almost like set yourself back.
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: So you've like almost like propelled yourself forwards, like gone balls to the wall with training and been like, yeah, it's really, really good.
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: And then recovery sucks.
- 6:25SPEAKER_01: Like it's gonna be so hard to recover back from that.
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: Then you're probably not gonna train a week.
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: And even that's not even as a case of post-show.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: Sometimes, if if you're getting back into training or like trying to, you know, steadily bring up your strength and stuff like that, just in general.
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: Um, I feel like people go way too hard and then it kind of actually pushes them back, you know.
- 6:44SPEAKER_02: So same thing with like getting back in the gym day one after you're feeling better when you were sick.
- 6:49SPEAKER_02: Like if you're if someone's sick for a few days and they took those days out of the gym day one, they're like, all right, I'm ready to go.
- 6:55SPEAKER_02: No, that's like the the next couple days ease back into things, slowly ramp back up.
- 7:00SPEAKER_02: So same thought process.
- 7:01SPEAKER_01: It's this in and even like taking time off the gym just because you're going on holiday or like going on vacation or whatever, like it's the same aspects.
- 7:09SPEAKER_01: Like, don't propel yourself so far forwards and like kind of just yeah, ease it back.
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: So that's what I'm doing right now, and it feels quite nice.
- 7:16SPEAKER_01: Perfect.
- 7:16SPEAKER_01: Things are like are connecting very, very well.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: Um, so yeah, it feels very, very good right now.
- 7:22SPEAKER_01: But um, right, let's get on to shall we get into it this weekend and this past weekend because there was how many shows were there?
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: There was quite a few, wasn't there?
- 7:36SPEAKER_02: There were a lot.
- 7:37SPEAKER_02: We did like four or five recaps.
- 7:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we did a lot.
- 7:43SPEAKER_02: Four or five previews, I should say.
- 7:44SPEAKER_02: So yeah, there's there's quite a few.
- 7:46SPEAKER_01: Well, first one, let's talk about Victoria is now qualified.
- 7:51SPEAKER_01: Um and so it's so so cute.
- 7:55SPEAKER_01: Obviously, she's now fully, fully qualified for 2027.
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: So this is really cool.
- 8:00SPEAKER_01: We kind of knew this coming into this show, it was gonna be um one of her shows for sure.
- 8:05SPEAKER_01: So it's cool to kind of see how now she's fully qualified.
- 8:09SPEAKER_01: And do you know what I was actually thinking of this the other day?
- 8:11SPEAKER_01: There's a lot of people getting qualified.
- 8:13SPEAKER_01: Like Max actually mentioned it, and I was like, there this is true.
- 8:17SPEAKER_01: People are getting qualified quick this season.
- 8:19SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, there's there's however many people, wait, obviously, we'll go through it in a second, but there's one, two, three, four people who have done two wins already.
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: That's crazy.
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like that's wild.
- 8:33SPEAKER_01: Like that, and that's it's been not even four weeks post-show, yeah, post-Olimpia.
- 8:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, um, yeah.
- 8:40SPEAKER_01: And then there's obviously one, two, three, four, five, six, seven.
- 8:46SPEAKER_01: Wait, the double stars with the win.
- 8:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the the the double stars, yes, the double stars have one win.
- 8:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 8:54SPEAKER_02: And if you take them then, the single stars are obviously Miss Olympias.
- 8:57SPEAKER_01: 11, 12.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: 12 people have already won a show.
- 9:01SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: That's crazy.
- 9:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:05SPEAKER_01: Do you think there'll be more okay question question is do you think there's gonna be more more people than this year uh at 2027 Olympia than than last this year?
- 9:14SPEAKER_02: No, no, because I well, obviously taking to account that the 25 went to 20, but aside from that, I think there'll be roughly the same amount of two show winners, if not even maybe a little less, because I think that we we said it last week looking at the shows, like when you look at um whatever show it was that Victoria had did, I can't remember if it was this one that she just won or her first win.
- 9:37SPEAKER_02: Um under and this is no disrespect to anyone, but under Victoria, I went, oh, there's like no one that stands out to me as someone who's gonna like push her a lot.
- 9:47SPEAKER_02: And so I think that come March, April, May, like Charlotte and like Wasatch, the shows are gonna be competitive as absolute hell.
- 9:56SPEAKER_02: So I think right now we're seeing a bit of a downtrend.
- 9:59SPEAKER_02: Like people actually took a break after Olympia, other than you.
- 10:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, people actually took a break.
- 10:03SPEAKER_02: Like, we don't see anyone other than you and Victoria from the top 15 of the Olympia out there.
- 10:09SPEAKER_02: We don't see Maria usually goes post-Olympia, she's not out there right now.
- 10:13SPEAKER_02: There's so there's there's no one competing post Olympia that was like top Olympia standings, and so I think that once we hit like the the beginning of 2027 shows, those spring shows, it's gonna be extremely competitive.
- 10:27SPEAKER_02: And it's gonna be like when um like when you and Maria were going at it, or when Victoria and Evie were going at it, it's gonna be those types of matchups, but like the entire top five, and it's gonna be flipping every week.
- 10:38SPEAKER_02: So I think it's it's gonna be very, very tough to get two show wins throughout next year.
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's why people are doing it now.
- 10:46SPEAKER_01: That's why I was like, right, let me get in and out nice and quickly.
- 10:50SPEAKER_01: Nice and quickly.
- 10:52SPEAKER_01: So, okay, so we've got so that was Victoria.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: I want to see have they got any pictures?
- 10:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they've got pictures here.
- 11:00SPEAKER_01: So she looked, I think this was a better look for sure than last week.
- 11:05SPEAKER_02: This was great.
- 11:06SPEAKER_01: She either came in leaner, she kind of refined a little bit more, she obviously changed her suit to I really like blue.
- 11:13SPEAKER_01: I liked red on her, but I think blue, like the bluey tones, fit her so much better.
- 11:18SPEAKER_01: I personally feel like.
- 11:20SPEAKER_01: Um and I feel like her front pose looks less, it's still quite large in the upper body, but it's a lot less, in my opinion, than when it was last week.
- 11:32SPEAKER_02: Um I'm not uh I'm I am a huge Patricia fan.
- 11:38SPEAKER_02: I'm not a fan of the green.
- 11:39SPEAKER_02: I don't like the green.
- 11:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:41SPEAKER_02: Uh that's just my opinion.
- 11:42SPEAKER_02: I just like I don't know if it's with this backdrop, I don't know if it's her skin tone.
- 11:45SPEAKER_02: I just don't like the green on her.
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: She looks quite pale here.
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: Like her tan could be maybe a little darker, but I agree.
- 11:51SPEAKER_01: The green, the green could stand out more.
- 11:54SPEAKER_01: Like there could be more to stand out.
- 11:56SPEAKER_01: She usually goes with darker colours, I think.
- 11:58SPEAKER_02: I think so.
- 11:59SPEAKER_02: Like her, what I can't remember what she wore it.
- 12:02SPEAKER_02: It could have been a more bright or darker green, but she wore a suit at Texas Pro, I think it was, when it was her and Jordan one and two.
- 12:09SPEAKER_02: I love it.
- 12:09SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 12:10SPEAKER_02: That was a great look.
- 12:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that was a good look.
- 12:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was like a forest green.
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: This is more like a bright, this is brighter.
- 12:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 12:17SPEAKER_01: Um, this girl here, I sorry to skip everyone.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: I love her back pose.
- 12:21SPEAKER_01: She's got really like she's very similar to Victoria, but like, I don't know, like her upper glutes and like this, so nice.
- 12:29SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't know, just looks very, very completely.
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: Looks very good.
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: Very good.
- 12:33SPEAKER_01: Very, very good back pose.
- 12:34SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, good, good lineup, if I'm honest.
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, we we kind of knew this would be a good show for Victoria.
- 12:41SPEAKER_02: Straight threes all the way through the whole show.
- 12:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so yeah, and it was good.
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: I obviously a lot of people got points and stuff like straight away.
- 12:49SPEAKER_01: Like, Rain is Rain is just keep going.
- 12:51SPEAKER_01: She's like, I'm just coming around.
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: Like saying she's stopped, man.
- 12:54SPEAKER_02: She was number two on the points list, and she's still going.
- 12:58SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, I don't know how she is.
- 13:01SPEAKER_01: Like it's been all year last year, and this year she's continuing.
- 13:04SPEAKER_01: I'm like, girl, how are you doing this?
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: I do not know.
- 13:07SPEAKER_01: But yeah, props to you, props to you.
- 13:10SPEAKER_02: So especially the travel was like she's in Toronto one week, she's overseas in Italy one week, she's in the States one week.
- 13:17SPEAKER_02: I'm like, oh my god.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: She is traveling, she is going, going out there, you know.
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: Um, and then we've got Roxana.
- 13:24SPEAKER_01: Roxana's finally qualified, which actually I think I don't I don't know if well, I think Roxana was on that board when we just looked at those things, but I'm not too sure.
- 13:34SPEAKER_01: But yeah, she's finally qualified, which is great.
- 13:37SPEAKER_01: Um, because she's never done the Olympia, correct?
- 13:40SPEAKER_02: I uh we you asked me this last week and I can't remember.
- 13:44SPEAKER_02: I can't, yeah, I can't remember.
- 13:45SPEAKER_02: On on her page it says Olympian, but I don't know if she just added that because she won.
- 13:49SPEAKER_02: So I'm like, fuck, I don't know.
- 13:51SPEAKER_02: But I think she has.
- 13:52SPEAKER_02: I think she has, I don't know.
- 13:54SPEAKER_01: I think she has, she just wasn't qualified for this year.
- 13:57SPEAKER_01: Because I'm pretty sure I've seen her.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: I think she was 2025.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: I want to say she was 2025.
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: Okay, she's won shows before, like, this isn't her first, like yeah, so she's won shows before.
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: Um, yeah, she has 2020.
- 14:11SPEAKER_01: Oh, 2023.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: 2023.
- 14:14SPEAKER_03: Oh sure.
- 14:14SPEAKER_03: So a while ago.
- 14:15SPEAKER_01: I think actually this was her comeback year, I'm pretty sure actually, because she took a decent amount of time off because already we're in 2023 territory.
- 14:25SPEAKER_01: So she did 2023.
- 14:26SPEAKER_01: That was that was my last show as uh my last Olympia as well.
- 14:30SPEAKER_01: And then I don't think she did any like until then.
- 14:34SPEAKER_01: She didn't do like this is then this year, so she hasn't um competed since then.
- 14:39SPEAKER_01: So she hasn't competed since this year.
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: We didn't even remember that.
- 14:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she looks amazing.
- 14:45SPEAKER_01: And looking at that front pose, sorry to like go back, but like looking at that front pose like here last time she stepped on stage at the Olympia, huge improvements already.
- 14:53SPEAKER_01: Like she's gotten so much more like density, size, like overall nice amount of balance and shape from that picture to this picture.
- 15:03SPEAKER_01: So crazy.
- 15:04SPEAKER_02: And guys, I I put a story up about this.
- 15:08SPEAKER_02: I I love the commentary, I love the comments, I love the media, the beyond the stage, pro-bikini news.
- 15:16SPEAKER_02: And of course, like media pages pushed for some sort of controversy or some sort of like hype behind a post, they want engagement.
- 15:24SPEAKER_02: Um, when I I can't remember who posted it, there are like three different posts that were made, along with a shit ton of people in the comment sections, um, obviously with their favorites.
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: In the final call out, in Becky, Mo, Sandy, and Bernadette all did a um, I don't know if you want to call it a podcast or whatever, but they they were doing like a seminar that they posted about saying that I don't want to say moving forward, but the way they are doing things is the center two does not mean that is the top two anymore.
- 15:57SPEAKER_02: So the way that the top four call out goes, I can't remember if it was Becky or Sandy, literally said word for word, I might have in my mind talk with the judges around me.
- 16:07SPEAKER_02: That's our winner.
- 16:08SPEAKER_02: Let's move them out of the way.
- 16:09SPEAKER_02: And so they put them in what we've got to do.
- 16:11SPEAKER_02: That's what happened to Ryan Terry.
- 16:13SPEAKER_01: This year, this year, he got put straight out to the side, and everyone's like, What the fuck?
- 16:18SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, because he was the clay winner.
- 16:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 16:20SPEAKER_02: And so that that happened here.
- 16:22SPEAKER_02: And like Roxana was, I think she was splitting center in the first call out, but then when they did the top four callback, they moved her to the outside and kept her there.
- 16:32SPEAKER_02: Because, in my opinion, they or factually, I guess you could say, they knew she won.
- 16:37SPEAKER_02: Like, they had her winning, clear winner to them.
- 16:39SPEAKER_02: Um, she won straight through.
- 16:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, perfect score.
- 16:42SPEAKER_02: And so they moved her out.
- 16:43SPEAKER_02: But yet the media pages and comment sections are oh, this is our top two.
- 16:48SPEAKER_02: And John, I'm not saying this about you.
- 16:49SPEAKER_02: I know how you post, don't worry.
- 16:50SPEAKER_02: Like, this is not about you, John.
- 16:52SPEAKER_02: Um, but the media pages are like, here's your top two, it's between this and this, and then the comment sections are running with it.
- 16:58SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, I remember while I was watching pre-judging, and I'm like, I feel like Roxana has this, like, I don't know.
- 17:03SPEAKER_02: And same thing happened in Mexico.
- 17:05SPEAKER_02: Um, Kerrigan and Cass both got moved out of the split center.
- 17:10SPEAKER_02: And I was like, no way, they're fucking top two.
- 17:13SPEAKER_02: There's no fucking way.
- 17:14SPEAKER_02: And sure enough, they were the top two at the end of the day.
- 17:16SPEAKER_02: So it is happening more often than not.
- 17:19SPEAKER_02: So don't think that just because a top four or top five callback happens and you have a center two people, that that is your top two.
- 17:25SPEAKER_02: Same thing happened with Massa at Atlanta Pro.
- 17:28SPEAKER_02: Um, Ashley Hampton and Jess Lou were splitting center, they got second and third.
- 17:32SPEAKER_02: Massa won.
- 17:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:34SPEAKER_02: So it's like it's happened multiple times this year, multiple times.
- 17:38SPEAKER_01: So it's hard because it's like, I think because for so long it was so obvious, and still, like obviously, with that, with what you said, it's not always the direct what that what the judges are following, like the middle two are the main two.
- 17:53SPEAKER_02: It can be completely random.
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: We don't know because it happens so many times, it's like, oh, it's obvious.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: Like you just think, oh yeah, because they're in the middle.
- 18:00SPEAKER_01: That and that's that's the direct like line of thought.
- 18:03SPEAKER_01: And even me, I'm the same.
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: I was like, wow, Taylor and Yulia look like I know Taylor, because it was Taylor and Mars are in the middle, I remember what I saw.
- 18:11SPEAKER_01: And I was like, wow, they look like they're winning.
- 18:13SPEAKER_01: I was like, Taylor looks really good, like this is great.
- 18:15SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, she's had time off, all this type of stuff.
- 18:17SPEAKER_01: And then when I saw Roxana one, I was like, oh, okay, because I didn't watch the live stream, I was like, oh, what I don't know what happened, like what must have happened, like what changed?
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: And obviously, you just explained it, but like again, everything can be different.
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: Like, it doesn't, it's not always the the Rex, like, oh, you're in the middle, that's it, you know.
- 18:34SPEAKER_01: So I think it's hard though, because that's what we've been used to for so long.
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: Um, yeah, yeah, but it also keeps it interesting.
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: So, like, it's I like it way more.
- 18:43SPEAKER_02: I don't want to know after pre-judging, like, I don't want to go, oh, that's the top two.
- 18:47SPEAKER_02: We're on the outside, like we're fighting for three, four, let's go take a nap.
- 18:51SPEAKER_02: Like, I want it to be random like that.
- 18:53SPEAKER_02: It's more fun that way, it's more engaging that way.
- 18:56SPEAKER_02: It makes everybody try to come back better at finals rather than being like, Oh, I didn't win this one.
- 19:01SPEAKER_02: Like, no, like fucking come back better.
- 19:03SPEAKER_02: You're pushing for a win no matter what.
- 19:05SPEAKER_01: So exactly that.
- 19:06SPEAKER_01: 100% agree.
- 19:08SPEAKER_01: And then we've got oh, I loved her little Asia one back to the Olympia throwing that.
- 19:13SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: Congrats on and Fit Model.
- 19:15SPEAKER_01: I love um this this part when she just like went, yeah, oh, it was great.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that literally, I love that.
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: She was like, let's go.
- 19:24SPEAKER_01: So um, yeah, Acia One, she looks, she looked unreal.
- 19:29SPEAKER_01: She I I really do love her physique because she is a little bit more of a muscular um fit model gal.
- 19:35SPEAKER_01: So I know people, I think people probably think, like, oh, is she too muscular for fit model?
- 19:42SPEAKER_01: I don't think she is, she has more muscle than some of the fit model girls.
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: Don't get me wrong, but I do think that it's exact same as like what bikini has.
- 19:51SPEAKER_01: You have some girls that have a little bit more muscle, some girls that have a little less.
- 19:55SPEAKER_01: They both work, they're both the criteria still.
- 19:57SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 19:57SPEAKER_02: So same, same thing, yeah.
- 19:59SPEAKER_02: Like you just said with bikini, like it fits everyone differently.
- 20:02SPEAKER_02: Look at fourth and fifth at the Olympia between um uh Liz and Misty.
- 20:07SPEAKER_02: Liz has some of the broadest shoulders in fit model, in Misty's small, petite, complete opposites of each other, two of the best in the entire world.
- 20:17SPEAKER_02: So like it it matters on how it looks on them.
- 20:20SPEAKER_02: Aisha presented her physique beautifully here, and the fact that she does have a little bit more muscle development, her coach knows, like, okay, we can't go anywhere near too much with conditioning because it's gonna show too much of this.
- 20:32SPEAKER_02: Like, how can we display this properly?
- 20:34SPEAKER_02: And they did.
- 20:34SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, she does it very, very well.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: So, um and then we've got Britney Britney.
- 20:41SPEAKER_01: Well, obviously, there's awesome.
- 20:43SPEAKER_01: Is there any where are they?
- 20:47SPEAKER_01: No, there's no photos of uh Kentucky Bourbon, yeah.
- 20:50SPEAKER_01: No, no top six.
- 20:52SPEAKER_01: No, um, so this is the only one we have, but obviously we had Brittany winning.
- 20:58SPEAKER_01: So this is actually another example of like oh top four, because I you know, top four, this they put everyone in the middle if I'm not mistaken.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: Is that correct?
- 21:07SPEAKER_02: Everybody held split center at some point, yeah.
- 21:10SPEAKER_01: So everyone was in the middle, and again, I saw this and thought, oh, okay, Vanya and Savannah, which is something that we spoke about, right?
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Britney won.
- 21:18SPEAKER_01: Brittany won.
- 21:19SPEAKER_01: So again, it's another like and she was in the middle, but again, from a screenshot perspective, immediately I'm like, oh, it's Vanya and um Savannah, because they're in the middle, but it wasn't.
- 21:31SPEAKER_01: And Vanya actually ended up getting up fourth um at this show.
- 21:34SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna get I'm gonna get shit on for saying this, and I don't like no offense to anybody at all.
- 21:39SPEAKER_02: To me, the actual mandatory posing needs to be weighted more heavily in judge's eyes.
- 21:45SPEAKER_02: Um, I think that's what you mean, wait, what do you mean?
- 21:48SPEAKER_02: So what so like when we talk about conditioning, if you have striations in the glutes, no, no, no, big no, right?
- 21:55SPEAKER_02: If you are improperly balanced, big no.
- 21:58SPEAKER_02: Like those are the things that kick you out of that first call out.
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: Um, like the way that Savannah, Gemma, Vanya are hitting their front pose, Britney is still leaned and turned and arched in her torsos this direction.
- 22:11SPEAKER_02: And I don't think that it displays her physique as well as looking at Savannah's front pose.
- 22:16SPEAKER_02: Now, that's not to say that Britney wasn't the most properly conditioned that day.
- 22:21SPEAKER_02: Her glutes looked the best that day.
- 22:23SPEAKER_02: So I understand all of that.
- 22:24SPEAKER_02: 100%.
- 22:25SPEAKER_02: She deserves the win.
- 22:26SPEAKER_02: That's not taking anything away from that.
- 22:28SPEAKER_02: Um, this is just a good way for me to use this example.
- 22:31SPEAKER_02: Is where is posing like a mandatory pose in a judge's eyes?
- 22:36SPEAKER_02: When you're looking at Savannah like a statue, Vanya, one of the best posers in the league.
- 22:42SPEAKER_02: And Brittany, and I've said this before, this is nothing new.
- 22:45SPEAKER_02: When she nails her front pose, she's gonna be a fucking top 10 Olympian, but she has not nailed it.
- 22:50SPEAKER_02: She has not hit her front pose properly, still has not to this day.
- 22:53SPEAKER_02: And so the way she's hitting it, the way she's leaned, the way the front delts pulled, the way that she's arched, like there's just a lot that can be fixed there to display her physique better.
- 23:02SPEAKER_02: So are the judges looking like at body parts at that point to say that she won?
- 23:08SPEAKER_02: Are they like, her glutes in the front pose look the best and it's balanced top to bottom, and they're disregarding like how the core looks, like they're like hiding it and going, yes, this looks best and this looks best.
- 23:19SPEAKER_02: Because if I'm looking at it as a whole, it's not presented properly.
- 23:23SPEAKER_02: Her back pose wins, hands down.
- 23:25SPEAKER_02: She won the back pose.
- 23:26SPEAKER_02: Like, give her that all night and day.
- 23:28SPEAKER_02: She won the back pose.
- 23:29SPEAKER_02: When I look at the front pose, it just isn't a winning front pose because of how it's being hit, it doesn't display the physique properly.
- 23:36SPEAKER_02: So um, to me, I'm just wondering like, and this is just a question, right?
- 23:39SPEAKER_02: It's not, I'm not saying it needs to be this way or it is this way.
- 23:42SPEAKER_02: I'm just wondering in a judge's eyes, when does it come into play that it's not being hit properly, it's not displaying the muscle and the shape properly, it needs to go to Savannah because she's hitting the front pose, displaying proper balance.
- 23:54SPEAKER_02: So that's just my take on it.
- 23:56SPEAKER_02: And not to say that maybe Brit maybe that is how they took it.
- 23:58SPEAKER_02: And Savannah won the front pose and Britney won the back pose by that much more.
- 24:02SPEAKER_02: So they gave it to Britney.
- 24:03SPEAKER_02: That could have happened too.
- 24:05SPEAKER_01: It was it was one point apart.
- 24:06SPEAKER_01: So it was.
- 24:07SPEAKER_01: Oh, was it?
- 24:07SPEAKER_01: So maybe that was the case then.
- 24:08SPEAKER_01: So Savannah had five and Britney had four.
- 24:11SPEAKER_01: So it was close.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: Okay, maybe that was the case then.
- 24:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was close.
- 24:14SPEAKER_01: So um I don't know, I don't know actually what the scores were because I don't think John's brought out the scores with this one yet.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: I'm just gonna go on BTS.
- 24:22SPEAKER_01: I'm obsessed with BTS um insight app, by the way.
- 24:25SPEAKER_01: Like it's actually like my favorite.
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's so cool.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: It's so cool.
- 24:28SPEAKER_01: So cool.
- 24:28SPEAKER_01: And literally, yeah, so it's like so yeah, Savannah got five, then Gemma got uh, and then it was a straight three, uh, nine, twelve, fifteen, eighteen from there.
- 24:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, um, but even even all the way down, like even uh seventh and eighth were one point apart, um, and then ninth and tenth were one point apart as well.
- 24:49SPEAKER_01: So like there were there were it wasn't a straight like three, three, three all the way through.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: Um but yeah, I I agree, I agree.
- 24:57SPEAKER_01: I think it's hard because it's like, especially when that it's that close, it's like, okay, yes, Britney, Savannah may have won the front post, and then Britney may have won the back post, and they might have been going at it back and forth, back and forth, back and forth for a while with that one.
- 25:13SPEAKER_01: So it's a case of okay, what do we yeah, who do we give it to?
- 25:16SPEAKER_01: Like there might there must have been so many other things that they obviously looked at as well for sure.
- 25:20SPEAKER_02: And I know, like for everyone listening, the judges will do that.
- 25:23SPEAKER_02: Like when uh when it was Kerrigan and Savannah at the Arkansas show, one point difference, the um Tim and Rich, they were co-head judging, they both told us after.
- 25:34SPEAKER_02: Like, we held you guys in your front pose because we could not decide who was winning, and we waited to see who broke.
- 25:41SPEAKER_02: And Kerrigan's Kerrigan was standing there in her front pose for a long time, and sure enough, they're waiting for her quad, they're waiting for something to happen with her quad, and it did.
- 25:50SPEAKER_02: And they went, All right, it's going to Savannah.
- 25:53SPEAKER_01: Damn, that's crazy.
- 25:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that is crazy.
- 25:56SPEAKER_01: So, and again, that's why we practice posing, we practice posing stamina, we practice all these things in between.
- 26:01SPEAKER_01: So, yeah.
- 26:02SPEAKER_01: Um, I think for me, the biggest shocker was obviously we we both thought, you know, coming into the show, we were like, okay, not to disregard anyone.
- 26:10SPEAKER_01: And again, I don't, I think it's hard because I think we always think like, okay, names, the status.
- 26:17SPEAKER_01: Again, that's how we then go, okay, that's who's winning the show, or okay, that's who this.
- 26:23SPEAKER_01: And I do love how now it's like there are people that are breaking that mold and being like, okay, you know, just because I have a name or whatever, like, or it doesn't matter who you are, you have to literally like put in the work and bring your best.
- 26:38SPEAKER_01: And it's that hour, that time you're on stage, who is the best.
- 26:41SPEAKER_01: Like, for example, Gemma.
- 26:42SPEAKER_01: Gemma, out of this lineup, I was like, okay, it looks like Gemma's fourth, Britney's third, Savannah and Vanya are fighting for second.
- 26:49SPEAKER_01: And it didn't go that way.
- 26:50SPEAKER_01: It was actually Vanya, fourth, Gemma, which is that's a huge, huge step up for Gemma, which she's been going obviously all year.
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: And this was definitely one by far her best look.
- 27:01SPEAKER_01: Gemma got third, Savannah and Britney were fighting for second and first, you know.
- 27:06SPEAKER_01: So, like, I think it's it's cool to obviously see like pe like new people breaking through.
- 27:11SPEAKER_01: And obviously, like I said, Vanya coming back, it's been like a rough year for her.
- 27:16SPEAKER_01: She's had back surgery not even that long ago.
- 27:18SPEAKER_01: Like, she she got back off stage and obviously with a new coach and stuff like that as well.
- 27:23SPEAKER_01: Um, I think like there's a couple of things I do feel like not the divisions change, but there's been slightly few things that have changed since she's been off stage that she's just got to get used to for sure.
- 27:34SPEAKER_01: I think.
- 27:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah, definitely.
- 27:35SPEAKER_02: We we knew right after uh going into, but also right after, immediately talked about how she just needs to be more conditioned, especially from the back.
- 27:43SPEAKER_02: Like the hams and the glutes need to come in tighter.
- 27:46SPEAKER_02: Um, her front pose was pretty spot on.
- 27:48SPEAKER_02: Um, core could still be a little more tight in the waist, but regardless, it was really good seeing her post-surger hitting her front pose again.
- 27:56SPEAKER_02: Because remember how she was at the Olympia when she took eighth, and it was like you could see she was in pain.
- 28:01SPEAKER_02: Um, it was great being able to see her back to her like flowy self on stage.
- 28:05SPEAKER_02: Like she was posing great, walking great.
- 28:08SPEAKER_02: Um, it's just a matter of her back pose dialing in more conditioning, and she'll she'll be like top notch again.
- 28:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think still from what I mean, again, it's a screenshot, and we don't take it from anything but obviously just critiques and stuff like that.
- 28:21SPEAKER_01: I still think the front pose, she could still crank that round, which again, that's probably gonna come down to her back surgery, especially this was the top four.
- 28:29SPEAKER_01: So this would have been she's already done her individuals, she's done like the first call out and then back for top four.
- 28:35SPEAKER_01: So I'm sure fatigue probably like is obviously gonna come in.
- 28:39SPEAKER_01: And again, it's she's not been on stage for a good year.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: So over a year.
- 28:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, over a year.
- 28:45SPEAKER_01: So it's getting back into the swing of things again.
- 28:47SPEAKER_01: I think just which she obviously knows this anyway, just getting used to cranking those hips around again and just feeling comfortable with that, and also not even feeling comfortable with it, but actually feeling safe doing that again, especially with the back surgery.
- 29:00SPEAKER_01: Um, and it's funny because if you didn't know she had back surgery, it's easy to be like, oh, this is this is this this this this.
- 29:07SPEAKER_01: Do you know what I mean?
- 29:08SPEAKER_01: But knowing that she had back surgery and she's coming back like this, you're like, wow, that's actually insane.
- 29:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah, do you know what I mean?
- 29:14SPEAKER_02: And back surgery like five months ago at that.
- 29:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, not even like it's not like it was like a year or two ago.
- 29:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, like spring of this year.
- 29:22SPEAKER_02: So yeah, yeah.
- 29:23SPEAKER_02: She's yeah, I was really happy to see her back up there.
- 29:26SPEAKER_02: She was in great spirits about it, and she knew right away.
- 29:29SPEAKER_02: First thing she sent me, she's like tighter from the back.
- 29:31SPEAKER_02: That's what I need.
- 29:31SPEAKER_02: I'm like, yep, 100%.
- 29:33SPEAKER_02: Like it's easy to tell.
- 29:34SPEAKER_01: Like, and again, I like this mentality because I'm sure coming into the show, she's like, Yeah, I'm coming in to win.
- 29:40SPEAKER_01: I'm you know, top five Olympian.
- 29:42SPEAKER_01: I've won the Arnolds, like two Arnolds, like I'm coming to win this.
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: And getting fourth, don't get me wrong, my mentality, we were like, fuck, that's you know, that's that's not sucks because it doesn't suck getting fourth, but that's hard.
- 29:55SPEAKER_01: But I love that she already was like, right, I need to work on this, I need to work on that.
- 29:59SPEAKER_01: And that's an athlete through and through.
- 30:01SPEAKER_01: That's a champion through and through.
- 30:02SPEAKER_01: And that's how you should be going into shows every single time.
- 30:06SPEAKER_01: Like, okay, what do we need to improve on?
- 30:08SPEAKER_01: Onto the next, you know, like still process it.
- 30:10SPEAKER_01: Like, I love seeing her like family um photos and stuff like so happy.
- 30:14SPEAKER_01: Like my friends showed up, family showed up.
- 30:15SPEAKER_01: Like, that's that's what I love seeing, like being able to see people actually thrive and happy and not put so much play, like like put so much pressure on themselves or have so much like value on just one placing.
- 30:29SPEAKER_01: You know, she's like, it's a placing, we didn't get what we want.
- 30:32SPEAKER_01: We come in, we're gonna come being better.
- 30:33SPEAKER_01: Do you know what I mean?
- 30:34SPEAKER_01: Like that's a that's the mindset that you need to have.
- 30:37SPEAKER_02: It's it's it's also like she's with Damien now.
- 30:39SPEAKER_02: So it was a their very first prep together, their very first show together.
- 30:43SPEAKER_02: You're gonna have like you're gonna have looks and kinks that you just get out and go into another show and keep rolling.
- 30:49SPEAKER_02: That's what it takes, is you just keep moving forward and keep getting better, coming back first show ever and getting two points up on the board.
- 30:55SPEAKER_02: Awesome.
- 30:55SPEAKER_02: And then you keep rolling from there and keep keep improving, coming a little bit tighter.
- 30:59SPEAKER_02: I told her, I was like, Vanya, you're Vanya.
- 31:03SPEAKER_02: Like it, I'm not worried that you got four that you got fourth here and you got two points on the board.
- 31:08SPEAKER_02: We see what you need.
- 31:09SPEAKER_02: Like, we know it's lower body conditioning, we know the glutes need to be tighter, and and it's just gonna be show by show.
- 31:16SPEAKER_02: You're gonna be a two-show winner.
- 31:17SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm not worried about sitting here trying to chase points and oh no, we only got two points.
- 31:21SPEAKER_02: Like, you're gonna be fine.
- 31:23SPEAKER_02: Like, you're gonna go out there and fucking kill it next time.
- 31:25SPEAKER_01: Also, it's literally like four weeks, like not even seven weeks, like poke, like into the point system.
- 31:31SPEAKER_01: Like, even if that is a case of you getting points, like you've got bro, you've got time, like you've got so much time.
- 31:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, which is not like you know what I mean, but she yeah, she will definitely be a two-show winner regardless.
- 31:40SPEAKER_01: Like, she's gonna win two shows and like come back and smash it.
- 31:43SPEAKER_01: And yeah, I'm excited to see it.
- 31:45SPEAKER_01: So um, so that was was that it three.
- 31:48SPEAKER_01: No, they had Brazil as well.
- 31:50SPEAKER_01: Nevea won.
- 31:51SPEAKER_01: Oh, Nevea.
- 31:52SPEAKER_01: I don't think we we don't think, yeah, we don't have any uh nothing else but this.
- 31:56SPEAKER_02: This so congrats, Navee.
- 31:58SPEAKER_01: I can't really see much.
- 31:58SPEAKER_01: So obviously Nevea won, which is great.
- 32:01SPEAKER_02: I saw some stories.
- 32:02SPEAKER_02: Um, her front pose looked really fucking good, like really good.
- 32:06SPEAKER_02: I was stoked to see it.
- 32:08SPEAKER_01: I always like I've liked her physique for a long time.
- 32:11SPEAKER_01: Like, I think she's got such a good physique.
- 32:14SPEAKER_01: Um, I think she's just more muscular, she's just a little bit more muscular.
- 32:17SPEAKER_01: That's it.
- 32:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 32:19SPEAKER_01: I love the like I was like, so cool coming out of the backstage.
- 32:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's not the best quality, but I can see what you mean.
- 32:27SPEAKER_01: Like, she does she always has had like a really good front pose, and she is the lighting itself of this is not good, but yeah.
- 32:34SPEAKER_01: Even her back pose is literally killer.
- 32:36SPEAKER_01: I'm like trying to see.
- 32:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah, oh that's the two of them in the top two right there looks like a good video.
- 32:42SPEAKER_01: I think it's from the side though, so we can't really see.
- 32:44SPEAKER_02: No, no, the one next to it.
- 32:46SPEAKER_01: Oh, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 32:49SPEAKER_02: There you go.
- 32:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she's got such bubbly glutes.
- 32:52SPEAKER_01: She has a shorter tie-in as well, so she's very similar to like Laura Lee in a sense that she has that kind of like shorter tie-in.
- 33:00SPEAKER_01: So it makes the glutes look a lot more bubbly.
- 33:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, um, they stay so full when she walks, it's crazy.
- 33:07SPEAKER_01: Like she you can see the other go here, like how it goes all the way down, like, and you see that tie-in, whereas Nevea has just kind of like the underpart.
- 33:16SPEAKER_01: Um, yeah.
- 33:17SPEAKER_01: So sometimes it, and I think uh who who else has that as well?
- 33:21SPEAKER_01: Is it Patricia?
- 33:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Patricia does too.
- 33:23SPEAKER_01: She has that as well.
- 33:24SPEAKER_01: Um, so sometimes it it's harder to make the glutes look slightly bigger, maybe.
- 33:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's not her best front post, her shoulders up really high.
- 33:33SPEAKER_02: But I saw a uh a still story that someone had posted, and she just looked really damn good.
- 33:37SPEAKER_02: I was like, wow, yeah, she's winning this.
- 33:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she looks.
- 33:40SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm excited to kind of see.
- 33:42SPEAKER_01: I think she'll she I don't know what she's doing next.
- 33:44SPEAKER_01: Oh, is that when no, it wasn't, I wasn't from that one, but um, I don't know what she's doing next, but I'm pretty sure she's like near enough at the top, like one of the top ones on the points list now.
- 33:56SPEAKER_02: So I mean she got a win, so she's yeah, she's sitting pretty right now.
- 34:00SPEAKER_01: Because she did obviously she did Southern Nussle and got third.
- 34:04SPEAKER_01: And I'm pretty sure I don't know if she did any shows before that or not.
- 34:06SPEAKER_01: I'm not too sure.
- 34:07SPEAKER_01: Um and then we got second place.
- 34:10SPEAKER_01: I've not seen her before, but I know she's well no, she's she got qualified last uh she um got her pro club last year, which is really good turning pro last year and then getting second.
- 34:21SPEAKER_02: And is that at the same show?
- 34:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, this one.
- 34:25SPEAKER_02: That's awesome.
- 34:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's cool.
- 34:28SPEAKER_01: I don't know what she did before that though, like if she did any shows before.
- 34:33SPEAKER_02: I don't know, I haven't heard of her really.
- 34:35SPEAKER_02: That might have been her debut or maybe recently.
- 34:38SPEAKER_02: So looks great though.
- 34:40SPEAKER_02: I mean, second place is huge.
- 34:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, second place is huge.
- 34:43SPEAKER_01: That's really, really good.
- 34:44SPEAKER_01: So oh, I think she done amateur Olympia.
- 34:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so she must she must have done.
- 34:52SPEAKER_01: Oh, she might have done oh no, that's an expo.
- 34:54SPEAKER_01: I think this is an expo, maybe.
- 34:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think I think so.
- 34:57SPEAKER_02: But yeah, I don't know.
- 35:00SPEAKER_01: I know, I'm like, I'm not too sure how well how to say that, but um, yeah, really good top two, really good top five, just in general.
- 35:07SPEAKER_01: Umgrats to everyone.
- 35:10SPEAKER_01: Um, I think that's one more one.
- 35:12SPEAKER_02: Is there I think that was everyone, I think that's everyone, you're right.
- 35:15SPEAKER_02: There were a couple fit model shows, I think too, but yeah, I think that was everyone.
- 35:19SPEAKER_01: Was that Carla that went to no, it's not Carla.
- 35:22SPEAKER_01: I thought that was Carla for some reason.
- 35:24SPEAKER_02: Carla will be back out soon, though.
- 35:26SPEAKER_02: And she is taking the critique from Olympia very, very seriously.
- 35:31SPEAKER_01: They she is that's really cool to have.
- 35:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah, she's looking uh she's looking very, very good.
- 35:35SPEAKER_01: Good.
- 35:36SPEAKER_01: That's really nice.
- 35:36SPEAKER_01: I think that was everyone.
- 35:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that was everyone.
- 35:39SPEAKER_01: So yeah, and then this weekend we've got this weekend only one show in the U.
- 35:47SPEAKER_01: Uh, no, not in the U.
- 35:49SPEAKER_01: In uh overseas.
- 35:50SPEAKER_01: Overseas.
- 35:51SPEAKER_01: Where is this?
- 35:52SPEAKER_02: I think this is I don't know what that word says.
- 35:55unknown: Yes.
- 35:56SPEAKER_02: Slovakia.
- 35:56SPEAKER_02: I was looking at under where it says 25 October on the flyer.
- 35:59SPEAKER_02: I'm like, I don't know what customers.
- 36:02SPEAKER_02: Where is that?
- 36:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 36:03SPEAKER_01: Slovakia.
- 36:04SPEAKER_01: So I think this is is this Russia?
- 36:07SPEAKER_01: Or like Slovakia?
- 36:10SPEAKER_01: Is that I don't know where it's Slovakia, actually.
- 36:12SPEAKER_01: I think okay.
- 36:13SPEAKER_01: Wherever that is, I'm like, yep, that's the one.
- 36:16SPEAKER_01: I have no clue.
- 36:16SPEAKER_01: Now I gotta look.
- 36:17SPEAKER_01: I have no clue where he's we're not meant to visit.
- 36:19SPEAKER_01: I'm not we're not meant to visit channel, but Emil Walker, he's from the UK, has not stopped going.
- 36:24SPEAKER_02: He hasn't stopped, he's fucking going, going, he's killing it.
- 36:28SPEAKER_01: Someone commented on underneath.
- 36:30SPEAKER_01: Please stop Emilia.
- 36:33SPEAKER_00: That's hilarious.
- 36:34SPEAKER_00: I'm liking that.
- 36:34SPEAKER_01: That's so funny.
- 36:36SPEAKER_02: Awesome.
- 36:36SPEAKER_02: But yeah, I think it's it's Slovakia is right under Poland.
- 36:41SPEAKER_01: Poland.
- 36:41SPEAKER_02: Okay, that's so stupid me seeing Russia and right above Budapest, Hungary.
- 36:46SPEAKER_01: Okay, yeah, that must be why Victoria.
- 36:48SPEAKER_01: So Victoria is also doing this show as well.
- 36:50SPEAKER_01: So she's qualified, she's newly qualified.
- 36:54SPEAKER_01: Well, I think she's from Hungary, so she it's close to her, you know?
- 36:58SPEAKER_01: So like it's not too oh, I say close to her, not too far away from her.
- 37:02SPEAKER_01: Um, she also might have booked it not that far, like after like Prague or something like that.
- 37:08SPEAKER_01: Do you know what I mean?
- 37:09SPEAKER_01: So, like also if she's if she's ready to go, why not keep going?
- 37:14SPEAKER_01: This is what I like qualified.
- 37:15SPEAKER_02: This is what like people used to complain about Ashley doing it.
- 37:19SPEAKER_02: Like, I love seeing more people do it.
- 37:21SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, I love it.
- 37:22SPEAKER_02: Like being able to see, like, she's already qualified, keep doing shows.
- 37:26SPEAKER_02: Like, why not?
- 37:28SPEAKER_02: It's it's where you live, it's in your country.
- 37:30SPEAKER_02: Go do it.
- 37:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it now becomes interesting because Sarah Sarah, who just beat her with one point at Prague, it now another head-to-head battle.
- 37:40SPEAKER_01: So it's like a lot, a Laurelie and Amy situation where it's like, okay, just because Sarah beat Victoria doesn't mean she's coming this time, like Victoria might be a little bit more than a good one.
- 37:48SPEAKER_02: And Patricia's in there too.
- 37:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 37:50SPEAKER_02: Who just got second last week to her.
- 37:51SPEAKER_02: So this will be good run there.
- 37:54SPEAKER_01: This will be a good one.
- 37:55SPEAKER_01: And then you've got Octavia who just competed, Rainer, who just competed, Jules just competed.
- 38:01SPEAKER_01: Um, like loads of people, loads of people.
- 38:04SPEAKER_01: So again, I think this is this is that this is what I like to see.
- 38:08SPEAKER_01: I like seeing this.
- 38:09SPEAKER_01: I like it when it's like interesting, it's more fun, you know.
- 38:12SPEAKER_02: John cracks me up with his captions.
- 38:14SPEAKER_02: I always read them and they get into so much detail.
- 38:16SPEAKER_02: And then I read one sentence where I'm like, John, Jules is still in the hunt to qualify.
- 38:21SPEAKER_02: I she got 11 months ahead of her to qualify.
- 38:24SPEAKER_00: Of course, she's still in the run to qualify.
- 38:26SPEAKER_00: Everyone's still in the hunt to qualify.
- 38:28SPEAKER_00: I'm like, what's going on?
- 38:30SPEAKER_02: So funny.
- 38:30SPEAKER_02: So funny.
- 38:31SPEAKER_02: I just love how he puts he he tagged like half the show here.
- 38:34SPEAKER_02: Like, I love the being able to just click their name, see who they are.
- 38:37SPEAKER_02: It's too, it does a lot for the sport.
- 38:39SPEAKER_01: So yeah, I like it a lot.
- 38:41SPEAKER_01: Um, and then I think that's it, but then obviously you've got Fit Model in Italy.
- 38:47SPEAKER_01: Are there any names that stick out for you then?
- 38:50SPEAKER_02: Um I have Amelia in it.
- 38:56SPEAKER_01: Oh, is she from the UK?
- 39:00SPEAKER_02: She's not your favorite.
- 39:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm like, oh my favorite.
- 39:04SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 39:05SPEAKER_01: Wow, she does look very good.
- 39:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 39:09SPEAKER_02: She should uh she should do really well.
- 39:11SPEAKER_02: It's her debut, so she should do very, very well.
- 39:15SPEAKER_02: I I have full confidence that she will be an Olympian next year.
- 39:19SPEAKER_02: Um, whether or not it's this show, um, I think it can be this show, but she'll be an Olympian next year.
- 39:23SPEAKER_02: She's she's lacking nothing.
- 39:25SPEAKER_02: So it's just to see how the judges like her, get the feedback, and and nail it.
- 39:29SPEAKER_02: So yeah.
- 39:30SPEAKER_01: Wow, that's cool.
- 39:31SPEAKER_01: Very, very cool.
- 39:32SPEAKER_01: I love always supporting a fellow UKan.
- 39:35SPEAKER_01: So, or fellow Brit, should I say?
- 39:38SPEAKER_01: Um Kan.
- 39:40SPEAKER_01: I don't know what the fuck that was.
- 39:42SPEAKER_01: So, okay.
- 39:43SPEAKER_01: I'm now like waking up because it's like 7 a.m.
- 39:46SPEAKER_01: now.
- 39:46SPEAKER_01: So I'm like, okay, we're waking up.
- 39:48SPEAKER_01: You're slowly probably going to going to sleep.
- 39:50SPEAKER_02: I'm slowly going to bed.
- 39:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm not surprised.
- 39:52SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 39:53SPEAKER_01: What were the questions you sent me over?
- 39:56SPEAKER_02: So you said Um thoughts on why Ashley Kay placed where she did at the Olympia.
- 40:02SPEAKER_02: So I think that some of these comments come from people that, like we said, like with Vanya, for instance, you expect to see them higher because of their name, because of their history, etc.
- 40:12SPEAKER_02: Um, I just think that um in like we said when you went against her at Southern Muscle, at Southern Muscle, that was the best I've seen Ashley in a long fucking time.
- 40:21SPEAKER_02: If she had brought that to the Olympia, could have been as high as like seventh.
- 40:24SPEAKER_02: She could have bumped up a couple more places.
- 40:26SPEAKER_02: Um, but she didn't.
- 40:28SPEAKER_02: And I think that um huge props to the judging panel for allowing like certain names to drop, certain names to come up, because it's not a name game.
- 40:38SPEAKER_02: That's not what this industry is.
- 40:40SPEAKER_02: It's not about, well, she's three time Miss Olympia, she has 50 wins.
- 40:43SPEAKER_02: Okay, doesn't mean she's top five here today.
- 40:46SPEAKER_02: So that's that's how it should be.
- 40:48SPEAKER_02: It's who's the best on that day.
- 40:50SPEAKER_02: And just like you and I said last week, the the following week, it could be completely different.
- 40:55SPEAKER_02: Like the just because one person didn't look good this week or wasn't their best and got third doesn't mean they can't go and beat the same person the following week.
- 41:04SPEAKER_02: Very true.
- 41:05SPEAKER_01: Very, very, very good.
- 41:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's not a name game, it's bring your best and see if you're rewarded for it.
- 41:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I think that's that's becoming more and more relevant like now and stuff.
- 41:13SPEAKER_01: And I think because people are seeing that happen, they're like, wait, what happened?
- 41:16SPEAKER_01: Like there must have been something wrong.
- 41:17SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, no, I think they like you're you are now just seeing more people become more competitive, you know?
- 41:24SPEAKER_01: And I think that's like that, honestly for me, is like way more exciting.
- 41:28SPEAKER_01: Like people are not even stepping up because I think people are stepping, have been stepping up for years, but there are just people that we haven't heard of, or people that are literally turning pro and then going into pro shows and immediately getting like a top five, like more often than not happening because they've had time off, they've either you know taken time to really get to where they need to be for for like the pro status, and they just keep running the circuit, you know.
- 41:52SPEAKER_01: And what I like actually more is like I'm seeing more now that people are winning their pro cost, and like I said, they're going straight into a pro show, they're not waiting and being like, oh, I'm gonna have a pro debut, they're getting that feedback almost immediately, which I think is really good.
- 42:05SPEAKER_01: And that didn't really, that wasn't really a thing before.
- 42:08SPEAKER_01: In like I'd say that the US, that wasn't really a thing before.
- 42:11SPEAKER_01: People were like, right, I need to have time off because I need to grow.
- 42:13SPEAKER_01: And most people do, don't get me wrong, most people do need to grow post like getting their pro cards, but we are seeing like a couple people like go straight in, get the feedback, and like sneak a top five, you know?
- 42:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so yeah, it's cool, it's very, very cool.
- 42:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, um, and then you said you said thoughts on best coach.
- 42:34SPEAKER_01: Is there a is this is there such a thing?
- 42:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and what how would that be like what would be the criteria for that?
- 42:42SPEAKER_02: So honestly, okay, for one, after this got sent to me, right?
- 42:45SPEAKER_02: I open my DMs and I look at this, and then I go to my timeline, and I'm like, that motherfucker just tried to rage bait me or just tried to like make me be controversial.
- 42:54SPEAKER_02: Because the first thing I see on my timeline is a beyond the stage interview with Cash that is titled Best Coach question mark.
- 43:02SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, you sent me this because of this.
- 43:05SPEAKER_02: And honestly, my so I didn't even watch it, so I'm and I'm so I'm not taking digs at anybody here, and I don't think that Cash is the person on an interview that's going, I'm the best coach in the world.
- 43:15SPEAKER_02: I think he's on there going, Jazzy's the fucking best in the world.
- 43:18SPEAKER_02: I guarantee he's saying that.
- 43:20SPEAKER_02: I don't think he's the person saying he is because he has common sense, he's realistic.
- 43:24SPEAKER_02: Like winning a title does not make the coach the best.
- 43:28SPEAKER_02: That's we for sure.
- 43:29SPEAKER_02: Jazzy's the fucking best in the world of 2026 for the rest of her damn life.
- 43:33SPEAKER_02: She earned that and she will always earn that title, always have that title.
- 43:37SPEAKER_02: The coach, like I'm I might get a lot of shit for this.
- 43:40SPEAKER_02: So this is my opinion on this, okay.
- 43:42SPEAKER_02: Personalities aside, okay.
- 43:44SPEAKER_02: Personalities of coaches aside, if I swapped Amy and Jazzy and Laura Lee and Issa, and I switched all their coaches around, they're all gonna get similar results.
- 43:55SPEAKER_02: They're all gonna get similar results.
- 43:57SPEAKER_02: Personalities aside, don't care if you don't like the coach or not.
- 44:00SPEAKER_02: They're Jazzy goes to this person, Issa goes to this person, Amy goes here.
- 44:03SPEAKER_02: They're all gonna get similar results, right?
- 44:05SPEAKER_02: Different peaking methods, different little bits here and there to bring a different look to the stage, but you're gonna get similar results.
- 44:12SPEAKER_02: To me, best coach is consistency and who brings people from here to here, right?
- 44:20SPEAKER_02: That's best coach to me.
- 44:22SPEAKER_02: Um, who's taking people and turning them pro and then making them pro to first call out pros and first call out pros to Olympians?
- 44:30SPEAKER_02: And that's how I view it.
- 44:31SPEAKER_02: And then on top of that, on the flip side of that, it's not just a bikini game when we're talking about coaches.
- 44:36SPEAKER_02: Hani Rambot has fucking 25 Olympia titles.
- 44:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 44:39SPEAKER_02: Like winning one Olympia title doesn't make someone the best coach.
- 44:42SPEAKER_02: Winning five doesn't make someone the best coach.
- 44:44SPEAKER_02: If you're looking at actual statistics, Hani is the best coach of all time.
- 44:48SPEAKER_02: Damien is the second best coach of all time.
- 44:51SPEAKER_02: Like they have 20 plus Olympia titles each across like four or five different divisions.
- 44:58SPEAKER_02: It didn't just happen because Hani had Chris Bumstead, it happened because he had men's physique, it happened because he had open bodybuilding, it happened because he had figure.
- 45:07SPEAKER_01: But then it begs the cushion it Ben begs the question, which is what you said after.
- 45:11SPEAKER_01: What is the criteria for that?
- 45:12SPEAKER_01: And like obviously that's just from statistics.
- 45:16SPEAKER_01: And don't get me wrong, people could go to you know certain coaches and be like, they're the worst coach.
- 45:20SPEAKER_01: Do you know what I mean?
- 45:21SPEAKER_01: And it's because that doesn't fit them.
- 45:23SPEAKER_01: I think what qualifies you can't, I personally feel like what qualifies you as the best coach is like for that individual.
- 45:31SPEAKER_01: Do you know what I mean?
- 45:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I that's why to me there is no best coach.
- 45:33SPEAKER_02: That's flat, that's why Flat Out said that there's no best coach because it's who's the best coach for each person.
- 45:38SPEAKER_02: I don't care how many titles you have.
- 45:40SPEAKER_02: Like, can we say statistically Hani's the best coach ever?
- 45:43SPEAKER_02: We can, but can we also say that some of his Olympia titles were already Mr.
- 45:46SPEAKER_02: Olympias?
- 45:47SPEAKER_02: Ian, Chris's brother-in-law, got Chris three titles.
- 45:50SPEAKER_02: He went and got the rest afterwards with Hani.
- 45:52SPEAKER_02: No discredit to Hani at all.
- 45:53SPEAKER_02: He's, in my opinion, statistically, he is the best coach ever.
- 45:57SPEAKER_02: But like, there's so many other avenues that you can take when you talk about best coach.
- 46:03SPEAKER_02: One, it's not about a single division, guys.
- 46:05SPEAKER_02: I know we're a bikini podcast, like winning a bikini title, winning a fit model title, winning a wellness title, if you do it for your first time or your second time, fuck yeah, it's awesome.
- 46:15SPEAKER_02: You're now an Olympia-winning coach.
- 46:16SPEAKER_02: But the term best is completely opinionated because I can take I can take someone that won an Olympia title or won an Arnold title, and I can go, okay, and this person had 35 pro cards this year, and you had five.
- 46:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 46:33SPEAKER_02: So where does that play?
- 46:33SPEAKER_02: What does that play a role?
- 46:35SPEAKER_01: If we're talking statistics, a lot for me.
- 46:37SPEAKER_01: That's also another factor for the criteria is like, okay, yes, there's like one athlete that you could do really well with.
- 46:44SPEAKER_01: How are you doing for your amateurs?
- 46:46SPEAKER_01: How are you doing for the rest of the thing?
- 46:48SPEAKER_01: Like I think I you see it more often than not where there's like a lot of people that will have like one successful person in like the entire team.
- 46:56SPEAKER_01: And it's like, okay, that's great.
- 46:58SPEAKER_01: And you can get that person very successful.
- 47:00SPEAKER_01: What is that the coaches doing or is that the athletes doing?
- 47:03SPEAKER_01: So it's like if you have successful people throughout the whole border, then that's what I think that makes you qualified for.
- 47:08SPEAKER_02: That was one of the best things.
- 47:10SPEAKER_02: That's kind of the point I was making, saying, like, if I took all what we consider to be the top bikini coaches and just swapped all of their top five athletes, because they all have top five Olympians, and just swapped them all, they're all still gonna be top five Olympians.
- 47:23SPEAKER_02: One just might peak better that week than another and jump the person, but they're all still gonna be top Olympians.
- 47:28SPEAKER_02: Like nothing's gonna go wrong all of a sudden.
- 47:30SPEAKER_02: Like they're all top for a reason.
- 47:32SPEAKER_02: So that's why I like the route that you just took of there's so many other factors other than the one athlete that did well, the one athlete that won the Arnold, the one athlete that won the Olympia.
- 47:42SPEAKER_02: That like it's a huge fucking accomplishment, but more so to me for the athlete than the coach.
- 47:48SPEAKER_02: It's it's the athlete that like gets that fucking title.
- 47:52SPEAKER_02: What else did the coach do?
- 47:53SPEAKER_02: Because the athlete, that's their one goal.
- 47:55SPEAKER_02: I'm trying to win the Olympia, I'm trying to go pro.
- 47:58SPEAKER_02: The coach has way more numbers than just that one athlete that did well.
- 48:04SPEAKER_02: How did you do with your pro cards this year?
- 48:06SPEAKER_02: Did you have 50 people compete at national shows and only one turn pro?
- 48:10SPEAKER_02: Because that's oh, let me look at those statistics.
- 48:12SPEAKER_02: And then let me look at the person that put three people in a national show and turn pro with all three of them.
- 48:18SPEAKER_02: Or let me see the person that is like loading national shows to 20 people and half of them are turning pro.
- 48:24SPEAKER_02: And at the end of the year, they have 30 plus pro cards in one year, which is like I know that everyone listening to this podcast follows James and Jamie and Kim.
- 48:34SPEAKER_02: And so pro card numbers, like it seems normal to get like 20 plus pro cards in a year.
- 48:40SPEAKER_02: That's not fucking normal, guys.
- 48:41SPEAKER_02: Like they're they're the best for a fucking reason.
- 48:43SPEAKER_02: Like James has 30 plus pro cards a year for a fucking reason.
- 48:47SPEAKER_02: The average coach might get one in their career, not even in a year, in their career.
- 48:53SPEAKER_02: So, like that our numbers are very inflated because we're looking at the best of the best all the time.
- 48:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so it's like when I'm talking about the best, statistics matter like that as well.
- 49:03SPEAKER_02: But then, like you said, it is individual.
- 49:05SPEAKER_02: I can't put a pin in, well, James has the most pro cards um five years in a row in bikini now, and fit model.
- 49:12SPEAKER_02: Oh, but Jamie won the Arnold and Phoebe did this, and oh, but Cash won the Olympia.
- 49:18SPEAKER_02: Who who cares about all that?
- 49:19SPEAKER_02: It's what coach is the best for each individual.
- 49:22SPEAKER_02: I think the person asked me the question, primarily because like I get these questions sometimes, especially from like clients that I have that leave their coach and ask me for a referral.
- 49:31SPEAKER_02: Who's the best?
- 49:32SPEAKER_02: Well, let me know what you're looking for in a coach, and I will tell you who I feel you can mesh with the best.
- 49:38SPEAKER_02: Because on paper, yeah, here's James, here's Cash, here's like, but what do you want in a coach?
- 49:44SPEAKER_02: What's your preference of like personality?
- 49:46SPEAKER_02: What kind of what what went wrong with your last coach communication-wise that I think would be more appealing to you in someone else?
- 49:53SPEAKER_02: That's what fucking matters.
- 49:55SPEAKER_01: So yeah, I completely agree.
- 49:58SPEAKER_01: So I think that's always hard when you are looking for a coach.
- 50:01SPEAKER_01: That's again, like you said, everyone's first question like who's the best?
- 50:04SPEAKER_01: But yeah, it always comes down to like when I again, when I went to Jamie, I was like, there are certain things that I am there's there's a reason why I'm going to her because and I could go to, you know, there was multiple other people that I could have gone to, yeah.
- 50:17SPEAKER_01: But I was like, this one aspect, which I'm not obviously going to disclose, but there's this one aspect that I know that's why I'm going to her, you know, and I know that's what I need right now, and not the other coaches for me can't give it to me, can't have give that to me.
- 50:31SPEAKER_01: So um, but yeah, and that's what you should ask.
- 50:33SPEAKER_01: That's what you should always ask.
- 50:34SPEAKER_01: And again, ask for the referrals, like ask people around you, people that are part of the teams and stuff like that, and get their experience, and then that can kind of give you a guidance as well to who you want to choose.
- 50:44SPEAKER_01: So 100%, 100%.
- 50:47SPEAKER_01: But yeah, yeah.
- 50:48SPEAKER_01: So good rant there at the end.
- 50:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 50:50SPEAKER_01: Great rant.
- 50:51SPEAKER_01: We always have I love how I don't know what you say.
- 50:53SPEAKER_01: Um, what do you say?
- 50:54SPEAKER_01: You're like, I'm probably gonna get some shit for this.
- 50:56SPEAKER_01: I think you said that about four times today.
- 50:58SPEAKER_02: It was a big one today.
- 50:59SPEAKER_02: There's a lot of those.
- 51:01SPEAKER_02: We're gonna get we're gonna get clipped by our by our editor, and it's gonna be remember the time that I was like humming, it's gonna be like multiple times around.
- 51:07SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna get shit for this.
- 51:08SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna get shit for this.
- 51:09SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna get shit on for this.
- 51:11SPEAKER_01: Literally.
- 51:11SPEAKER_01: So, but great episode as always.
- 51:14SPEAKER_01: Thank you guys for watching.
- 51:15SPEAKER_01: Make sure you like, subscribe, all that type of stuff, and we'll see you in the next one.
