- 6:58[SPEAKER_13]: That's just such an old broadcast.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_13]: cliche or something, but we had to use it there hump day.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_13]: Weather forecast sounds pretty promising.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_13]: Chance of some overnight mayhem or something, but not much.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_13]: By the time we get to Saturday, it'll go in my phone.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_13]: My phone says 60 degrees on Saturday.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_13]: And it also says 69 for one day next week.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know if it's really going to be that, but clearly the snow and ice that's plagued us for a while here and gave us this old fashioned winter.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_13]: He is on its way out.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_13]: In fact, by Monday, I think most of it except for the piles of snow will be gone.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_13]: Finice over.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_13]: Now, again, as we always say, we never like to say winter is over, because
- 7:50[SPEAKER_13]: somewhere in the listening audience, somebody is saying, well, I remember we had a fruitless new one, most of you today, yeah, I don't know if that's true or not.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_13]: Now, there's actually some news breaking today from of all places, Brownville, and one of our astute listeners, the welder, Mike Hewitt, was down there, because his purchase down there, and he told us, and news junkie did to about an excavator,
- 8:19[SPEAKER_13]: in the river.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_13]: Where in the river you say, well, remember the old bridge in Brownville, and they replaced it with the new one up the road towards Daxter, yeah.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, the old one hasn't been used a couple of years, I guess, but and they took it out and they were going to put a foot bridge in there.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_13]: So anyway, there's somebody down there with a big excavator, a cobalco, and, you know, nice unit.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_13]: Doing some work along the embankment and all of a sudden, all of a sudden, what happens but the thing starts sliding towards the river.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_13]: And the operator, thank God, got off of it, jumped off and is safe, I understand.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_13]: But the excavator,
- 9:15[SPEAKER_13]: a cabelco S. K. two seventy state police a way sixty thousand pounds and so i got a whole of our good friend dairy over it anderson equipment sellers of commatsu because commatsu ask excavators don't slide into rivers they have a special no slide feature but anyway this other one did it's at the bottom of the black rivers submerged and uh... dairy tells us uh... is about two hundred and fifty thousand dollar vehicle
- 9:42[SPEAKER_13]: also that there was an oil and gas field into the river causing an environmental concern as well.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_13]: They're going to probably have to use a crane, he says, along with maybe some kind of tow truck and wind-tron shore, how to get it out of there, maybe two cranes, but it's not going to be easy, not going to be easy.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_13]: So that's going on down in Brownville, and boy, that's the most exciting thing to happen down there in quite a while.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_13]: and thank God the operator was safe, but I don't know if his job is, but he is.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know, those things happen.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_13]: They're insured, but they'll get a new one.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, get a new one.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_13]: Other news today, and this is kind of, well, I don't like to be gossipy on media news, but I guess we have to be.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_13]: And in both cases, we are told that it's for a job at plant parenthood.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_13]: She'll be leaving later this month.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_13]: Now, Ms. Payout has been there for all goodness.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_13]: Several years now, she came out of the Western Pennsylvania area.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_13]: And done a good job on the morning news.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_13]: I don't, I imagine getting up at 4am when you got a young family.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_13]: It's a little old.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_13]: And so you want to have a regular nine to five or type job.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know what she's going to be doing at playing parenthood, but kind of like amylase, she's over at the hospital, nine to five job there.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_13]: So I mean broadcasting, I did morning radio at one time.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_13]: For OJ103, actually back, I think it was the late eighties or mid eighties or something.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_13]: So I had to get up for, you know, and go up there and it was difficult.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_13]: a studio is in West Carthage by that time and you know doing radio you don't have to look good every day of course McKenzie had to look good every day and she did but uh... to get up at four a.m. every day so anyway she's moving out so what's going to happen anchors away uh... we already have john more leaving at the end of the month he's still going to be there some kind of
- 12:03[SPEAKER_13]: roving reporter in zainland's county or something like that some kind of uh... he would hail brewner but i don't know what he'd be charlotte he'd be a charlotte caralt figure up in zainland's county so anyway uh... john's going to be uh... leaving so i guess less shockly will be moving into the morning slot along with Beth hall at last does a really good job
- 12:27[SPEAKER_13]: I hear he's a nice guy.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_13]: I don't really know him, but everybody says he's a nice guy.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_13]: But anyway, he does a good job.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_13]: I've said that for quite a while.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_13]: I assume he'll be doing the new show with Diane.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_13]: And so now that still leaves the five o'clock show that John is the vacating.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_13]: John's been off on Mondays and that Garrett Dunblowsky who does the late news has been filling in on Monday.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_13]: And we think that he's going to be the five o'clock anchor.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_13]: Now, I don't know, Mr. Domblowski, that, well, I mean, you know, I've met him, he seems very, very, very likeable person.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_13]: But, you know, I was looking at the stable of talent who they could put in there, and it's not a large stable, but I thought,
- 13:22[SPEAKER_13]: Aaron Bischoff, who's got some management job, and I don't know what she does.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_13]: But she, I think when she fails in, she does a really good job.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_13]: But I'm told that she doesn't want to be on TV.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_13]: Why do you work for a TV news operation?
- 13:35[SPEAKER_13]: If you don't want to be on TV, the whole idea is to be on TV and be recognized.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_13]: So when you're out on the boat, or, you know, over by picked in, or wherever you are, he was, oh my God, you're on the news.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_13]: Now, it's not that pervasive anymore in local news, because the ratings aren't quite what they were back in the year when I was doing it in the early 80s, when they got like a 90 share in the metro, so everybody said, well, you're on TV.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_13]: But I would think you'd want to be in TV, so I, but I guess Aaron's not going to be the one out five, and we are thinking, this is going to be Garrett Dunblowski.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_13]: So we wish him well, I mean, you know,
- 14:20[SPEAKER_13]: Back in the old days, you used to get a talent fee for anchoring in newscass.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_13]: It was $10 for a half hour, $5 for one of those morning cut-ins, and $750 for the 15-minute weekend late news.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_13]: And that was good, it's actually $50 a week, everybody wanted to be an anchor, but I was the one who got rid of those, I think.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, back when the folks in Kenosha owned it.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_13]: get rid of that and i got rid of but they put them back in steps for management city hall they didn't like that either so anyway uh... just a kind of easiest looking to you know you got to contain cost them uh... but uh... that's the uh... the gossip from over broadcasting you know nothing new here well-to-evident same old people but after do it around the air me or i had a guy uh... mark mason you and your have you noticed him
- 15:19[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, he's a great guy, too.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_13]: Of course, everybody knew his dad.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_13]: It was a great guy.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, it's a good guy.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_15]: He died young for two years.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_13]: Yep.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_15]: I used to mark on last Sunday night.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_15]: He's a good anchor, I think.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_15]: He might be a gentleman to look at.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I hadn't thought of him.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, my Kenji is very good.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_15]: Good for her.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_15]: She has a young child who probably wants to spend time with, you know.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I get an up at 4 a.m.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_15]: It's a tough for a young mother, right?
- 15:47[SPEAKER_13]: Tough for anybody.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_15]: Uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh
- 16:20[SPEAKER_15]: Riley, if I had him next door to me, a total disaster.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_15]: A total disaster, Mayor.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_15]: Two bedroom apartment, four young children, two adults, three dogs, three cats, not a weasel, but that other animal that looks like- Ferret.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_11]: Ferret, yeah.
- 16:42[UNKNOWN]: Two ferrets.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_11]: Two ferrets.
- 16:44[UNKNOWN]: Two ferrets.
- 16:45[UNKNOWN]: The landlord had to throw their ass out.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_15]: It came down here to absolutely ripped the carpeting up, had a dumpster in the drive, threw everything out.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_15]: They absolutely trashed the place.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_11]: Wow.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_15]: It will take the garbage in black garbage bags at the door to the side of the porch, up over the porch, ready for some, the porch he had to call somebody to pick it up.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_11]: Hmm.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_11]: It really worked.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_11]: Well.
- 17:09[UNKNOWN]: Nobody worked.
- 17:10[UNKNOWN]: In the house.
- 17:11[UNKNOWN]: Young people.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_15]: She's on the run at all hours in the night.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_15]: people coming into the driveway and three in the morning a bonfire in the dry way if three in the morning I got up as what the hell is that a bonfire in the driveway and three in the morning I come by head to call the police never call the police in my life raw music the level of clock at night raw music stretch the rules white said flash no

- 17:48[SPEAKER_15]: I've had it with the law of music.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_15]: It's not really music.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_15]: You say hip-hop garbage.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_15]: A young kid coming to the house in a clock in the morning.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_15]: He's got a habit.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_15]: I've got to know what Jack Daniel's going to eat at clock in the morning.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_15]: He's over there running up and down the street.
- 18:07[UNKNOWN]: Again, I call the cops.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_13]: How old was the kid with the Jack Daniels?
- 18:15[SPEAKER_15]: Okay, I want this guy up by property.

- 20:33[SPEAKER_13]: That's not going to do.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_13]: I don't have to put boots on a grana hate to say it.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.

- 21:29[SPEAKER_15]: Any place most of the gone, this better problem.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_15]: Look at England.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_15]: There's nine Sharia law courts in England.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_15]: Are you kidding me?
- 21:37[SPEAKER_15]: Look at me and Sura.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_21]: Mm-hmm.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_15]: Oh, he's just straight at state where they're Sharia law not sets.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_15]: We're going to have to take them on.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_15]: You can just kick the can down the road.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_15]: We find he got a president that says, Fed up.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_15]: He doesn't care what people think.
- 21:55[UNKNOWN]: He's not going to work.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_13]: Yes, I know.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_13]: We haven't done years ago, Mayor, 99 when he started the nonsense.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_13]: Hmm.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_13]: Well, we tried to do something and, uh, didn't work.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_15]: Some of the crops are anti-American to hate the country.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_15]: They're no Americans.
- 22:12[UNKNOWN]: They don't climb.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_13]: They hate the police of hell and with Democrats.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_13]: Except for, except for, except for, I'm a Democrat.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_13]: Except for one.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_13]: Senator Fatterman this morning.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, and I, I hated the guy for years ago, Mayor.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_21]: Mm-hmm.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_15]: He has turned a quarter.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_15]: He doesn't put party.
- 22:41[UNKNOWN]: I have the country, Danny.
- 22:43[UNKNOWN]: They'll give you the one you found cause.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, he said at this morning, country over party, he also said this CNN anchor was trying to taunt him and say, shouldn't we stop this war now?
- 22:55[SPEAKER_13]: And he said, nope, keep killing them until they're gone.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_13]: Come on, I'm still there, God.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_13]: More rafters are shooting off.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_15]: There ain't bases all over the Middle East.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_15]: Yeah, I don't have a problem with it.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_15]: You got to pay a little more at the gas.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_15]: From just suck it up and do it.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_15]: Why are we set to solve countries?
- 23:18[SPEAKER_15]: Mm-hmm.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_15]: People people are doing more or two, Mayor.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_21]: Mm-hmm.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_15]: My God, it's a difference of sight.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_15]: Back in the old days, you didn't let everybody in the board and Mr. Mayorkus.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_15]: If you were sick, if you haven't disease, if you couldn't speak English, you were not gay in the country.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_21]: Thank you, Joe Biden.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_15]: We got people in this country in the hands.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_15]: We don't know what they're going to do.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_15]: We have no idea where they are.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_21]: Mm-hmm.
- 23:46[UNKNOWN]: You're all in.
- 23:48[UNKNOWN]: These are bad ass people.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_13]: I know, I know.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_13]: Alrighty, well, thank you sir, we appreciate it.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_13]: You have a good day.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_13]: Thanks, bye now.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_13]: The angry man, exclusive to the hotline here, got some texts.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_13]: Some people sending hearts in.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_13]: They love the angry man.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_13]: Somebody says, no boots on the ground, man.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_13]: Somebody says, I want to be friends with the angry man.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_13]: Well, one of our liberals is which country is Fatterman Loyal, too.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, this guy runs around telling everybody he's a Republican.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_13]: No, I thought Federman was great this morning.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_13]: That CNN reporter, she was being up, well, you know.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_13]: And he just gave it back to her.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_13]: It was great to watch.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_13]: So anyway,
- 24:45[SPEAKER_13]: but y'all y'all hockey and jeffries is the one that some of you want to see a speaker the house he said this is just going to be a failure for america that's nice to tell our troops that they're going to fail uh... came i guess we know what side you're on all right i've got a call here good afternoon you're on the air yes there they in demand is a hundred percent right especially on these apartment complex as you know back in the day i
- 25:13[SPEAKER_17]: I worked for guys with houses, apartment houses, or houses, and they were all not just rented to Lulinka, but I saw what people that had jobs that completely destroyed the apartments that they were living in.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_17]: Right.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_17]: One time when a buddy calls me and says, look, I got somebody moving out, but you go over clean up a paint, whatever.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_17]: who it's a three apartment place.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_17]: I found 200 bags of trash in the seller.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_11]: Wow.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_17]: And another one he rented some other people.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_17]: And he didn't want no dogs.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_17]: They moved out.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_17]: And he called me and says, geez, go check the house.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_17]: Do what you can't do.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_17]: But he said,
- 26:13[SPEAKER_17]: Look at that, man, I kept smelling what the heck is that?
- 26:16[SPEAKER_17]: So I got down to several steps.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_17]: The whole seller was covered with dark crap.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_11]: Wow.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_17]: I had to get a handsmith suit on and to, in order to clean that up.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_17]: When we had the trash pick off that time.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_21]: Mm-hmm.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_17]: The front property line,
- 26:43[SPEAKER_17]: six what high was full of trash right junk.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_17]: I went in there.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_17]: He said the prime they had a problem with the uh... covers.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_17]: I went over.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_17]: They tore them off the wall.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_17]: There was bags of sugar.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_17]: Why don't they spill in these covers with
- 27:13[SPEAKER_17]: I'm not kidding if Mayor, doing a half feet above that kitchen center was dirty, greasy, pan spots, and dishes.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_17]: So over the years I learned that it wasn't just low income, which happens all over, but people, you can't figure people out.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_17]: What the heck is wrong with them?
- 27:42[SPEAKER_17]: And outside of water town, head and toward Rome, or those places, you would not believe the places that are, you know, people are living in them, off the side of the road, that there has to be a thousand pieces of junk, junk, all over the property, front, right to the road, back, their yards, stuff, you know, they pick up everything, but
- 28:12[SPEAKER_13]: OK.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_17]: I don't know what has happened to people there.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_17]: And one time you could buy a home, fix it up, rent it, and have real nice tenants for 25 years.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_17]: And now these people just destroy.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_17]: If it's low income that Jake wants to put out there, I can't bring the people because they, you know what happens?
- 28:35[SPEAKER_17]: You're not paying a good rent, is that they don't care.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_17]: They don't care, it's not done by the police.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_17]: Right.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_11]: Right.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_17]: Remember that kid that was in water town was destroying... Oh yeah.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_17]: And they kept putting them in another place and he would destroy it.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_13]: Yep.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_17]: You're awesome.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_13]: That's what happens.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_13]: All right.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_13]: Well, thank you.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_17]: All right.

- 33:09[SPEAKER_13]: Don't worry.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_13]: I'm in the former newsman.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_13]: I know what I'm doing.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_13]: And then John Moore, of course, we already knew he was leaving at the end of the month.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_13]: There were, well, he's going to become the Charles Corralt of St. Lawrence County, but I'll other than that.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_13]: And we think that Garrett Dunblowsky's going to fill in five after that.

- 34:01[SPEAKER_13]: And it was very informative, I thought.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_13]: Some good questions I asked, I enjoyed watching it.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_13]: So, you know, I don't know.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know what to say.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_13]: Secretary Higgs, Higgs says, we're just getting started.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_13]: Yep, we got air superiority.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_13]: And now we can drop stuff wherever we want.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_13]: And we can use the old, we haven't unlimited supply of, but they used to call them dumb bombs.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_13]: I think their laser guided, but they're, you know, they're not that precision guided ones.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_13]: They're really expensive.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_13]: So, we can drop all of those.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_13]: Just keep dropping them.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_13]: It's like John Fetterman, the senator said this morning.

- 35:01[SPEAKER_14]: And in more art, boarders, boarders, to have the case played, played, a boarder against the Irish flag.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_14]: If you don't think there's something wrong with that picture, wait a minute.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_13]: They voted, they both voted back, they changed the policy, they got rid of that individual requesting, but the Osborne and Campbell voted in favor of both the Irish and the Pride flags.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_14]: Oh, they did vote in favor of the Irish flag.

- 38:14[SPEAKER_05]: While Democrats push their national agenda, Anthony Constantino is focused on the real issues that matter here.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_05]: He's funding his own campaign, no special interests, and he'll fight for you in Congress.

- 43:12[SPEAKER_16]: I just saw a billionaire say or if he was a millionaire he said there's a $2 million cat taps a two million dollars and after that it's taxed at like 70% or something.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_16]: He said that he would stop working furlough all his employees until February of next year whatever it was because he reached his two million and he doesn't want to work for thirty cents
- 43:39[SPEAKER_13]: that if you tax us that right work at we're going out for a low everybody and then we'll re-hier him again when the new quarter is or whatever it is yeah okay well we'll see if she does it all right thank you yet it's a radical administration and all but he and she can't do anything about it she's alone for the ride on for why at least why did you get out our last best hope

- 48:18[SPEAKER_13]: The Band-out of M-D, today I'm 1240, is of course our, uh, yeah.
- 48:25[SPEAKER_13]: Now let's see what we got here.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_13]: And see who's over at Pearl Street, oh, I know those people.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_13]: Yep.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_13]: Um, what else we got going on here, um, oh, I don't know.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, people have brought up this butterfield thing.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_13]: I went over to butterfield Avenue yesterday after this show.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_13]: As I hadn't been over there in a while, I wanted to refresh my memory of this property.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_13]: I hadn't been there since the school building was still there.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_13]: It's since been demolished.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_13]: So, draw me in there.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_13]: And, uh, when I'm pretty sure it's dry, I have to get in and draw me in.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_13]: And it was, um, it is a big piece of property.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_13]: I saw a deer walking around.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_13]: Um, I don't know how much of it, what the water composition is or how spongy it is or anything else.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_13]: Um, but I also looked at, uh, where the road would go through over to Myra Drive and then I looked at the roads over in that network of, around there, Casgroan, butterfield and all of that, and they're pretty rough shape.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_13]: The ability of that transportation network to support the potential development of 130 six units.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_13]: I see why the neighbors are concerned.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_13]: And it's easy to, I hear the other argument.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_13]: It adds to the tax base.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_13]: You don't want to discourage people who want to invest, which, of course, Mr. Johnson does, and all of that stuff.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_13]: And it'll access some money from the county to fix drainage problems.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_13]: There's check marks on the plus side, but neighbors look at it in a different way and they're looking at it like, you know, the road's on that great here now.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_13]: Now, there are a few people who are just nimbee's no matter what, you could say I want to put a phone booth up there and maybe like screw or screaming over it, but the proposal does seem kind of large.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_13]: That many cars going in and out trucks deliver trucks and all of that.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_13]: So I don't know, they're going to have to work that out somehow and discuss it, and maybe there's more details, plans, and maybe there's drawings with the buildings will look like I don't know, but as far as, I think there's a couple of counts of members who are will vote for it, but you do need a four-fifth vote to make that zone change, and that's going to be tough, because Osborne's a deaf, he's a hard-null, and I don't know about the other two, shown and get her brand.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_13]: Now get her brand.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_13]: I think I don't know if he's going to focus his firm has some dealings with the developer there, not on this project but other things I saw.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_13]: I don't really know.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know what's going to happen.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_13]: But we'll see.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_13]: Good afternoon, I'm here.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_13]: Good afternoon, Mr. Mayor.
- 51:19[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_18]: And you remember when Jesse Jackson just died,
- 51:28[SPEAKER_13]: was about different races getting along about different uh... special preferences getting along they i don't like that the uh... it's cultural appropriation yeah right when it's supposed to be about races getting along that that's what oh i've seen the latest uh... flags of that it got all sorts of different colors at the bottom for trends and on this other stuff it's hard to even know what everything stands for
- 51:58[SPEAKER_18]: That's when he ruined the plants for everybody.
- 52:02[UNKNOWN]: I got a funny story for it.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_20]: Sure.
- 52:04[UNKNOWN]: Like the front of my new girl goes, Well, this Jackson guy.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_18]: I didn't know he ran for president was all about the creature and, uh, and a civil rights.
- 52:18[UNKNOWN]: I thought he just played baseball.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah, there you go.
- 52:21[UNKNOWN]: But no, I'll get ticket of Reggie Jackson.
- 52:24[UNKNOWN]: Oh, okay.
- 52:25[UNKNOWN]: So.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_18]: We're looking forward to the good weather, Mr. Mayor.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_13]: Mm-hmm.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, well, thank you.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_13]: By now.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_13]: Now, another person texted me, if you're worried about traffic and neighbors, don't live in any city, those things come with it.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_13]: I get back to.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_13]: So, I hear both sides on this.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_13]: There are both sides.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_13]: And I don't live over there.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know if I...
- 52:55[SPEAKER_13]: If I had a house over there, one of those nice little, what they call them, Cape Codds, you know, they used to be fairly in experiment, dude, you know, 200,000 hour more, I don't know how I'd feel about it, it depends on how close it was.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_13]: Right next to it, maybe if, you know, when they were over in Mara Drive, you know, what's
- 53:26[SPEAKER_13]: So I don't know.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, let's see.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_13]: No, here's this thing about.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_13]: Utility rates could reach 4,100 for upstate residents, 3,100 for New York, 2,300 for New York City residents annually.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_13]: Gas prices could increase by up to 2,23 a gallon.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_13]: But it doesn't matter.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_13]: Well, it's a green new deal.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_13]: and we got solar panels all over the place and we got windmills dotting the landscape and we're paying more for electricity than we ever did yeah and we got a trillion dollars of natural gas sitting under a feet government local won't let us touch because she's got her you know mom dot me won't like it
- 54:16[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I guess she is, oh man, I'll tell you that no, on the other hand, I guess New Yorkers want this kind of crap because they vote for it and these polls from Sienna say this is what people want, they want higher taxes and everything else so I mean maybe I'm down me in hocal around to something.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_13]: They're reading the room well.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_13]: Yep.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_13]: Yep.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_13]: This is what you want.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_13]: You want to pay more for your power bill.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_13]: You want to pay more for gas at the
- 54:46[SPEAKER_13]: You want to have the landscape polluted with solar panels and windmills.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, you want all of that.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_13]: But you vote for every four years or something.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_13]: So anyway, we'll see what happens.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_13]: I don't know.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_13]: Maybe I'm a little indifferent towards it.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_13]: You know, you get to a point in life.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_13]: they've done it all together.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_13]: I thought that a couple of years ago, but they found another way to get me.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_13]: State of New York has always got a way to get you in the end.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_13]: And mass as they're doing now with these prices or individually.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_13]: Yep.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_13]: Well, what do you know?
- 55:32[SPEAKER_13]: People say, boys don't like the leave?
- 55:34[SPEAKER_13]: Well, he's your son down.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I mean, you got roots somewhere, as I say, roots.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_13]: Mm-hmm.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_13]: All right, we got a couple of minutes left.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_13]: If you want to talk to here, you can, you're allowed.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_13]: And, you know, whether it's the war, or whether it's the local fairs, or whether it's the changes at Channel 7, is that, are those the changes you were of wanted?
- 56:03[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I expressed my opinion on here today,
- 56:09[SPEAKER_13]: um... will just have to see but yeah i mean uh... not having McKenzie in the morning that's going to be a quiet that could be a shock for a lot of people she's well-liked you know well-liked seven five well she probably still be will still be well-liked but just not there uh... let's see here's another story in the news about those electric buses
- 56:39[SPEAKER_13]: School District declares them impractical.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_13]: Two stories I'm news junkie Tata, this one's in the Rochester first.com that probably be like the DNC in Times Union successor.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_13]: The Naples School District has come out critical of it.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_13]: It's supposed to do that.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_13]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 57:04[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, hello, before they go ahead
- 57:07[SPEAKER_16]: build those apartment buildings over there and butterfield Avenue they're going to have to go in there and fix the sewer system they're going to have to put in great big pipes for the sewer system and rebuild all the roads.
- 57:21[UNKNOWN]: Thank you.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_13]: Thank you.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_13]: Have a good day, bye.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_13]: Rather racist at good point, I know there's been some things done.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_13]: There's stop felds in the latter of those I guess don't work according to our
- 57:36[SPEAKER_13]: So I don't know, I don't know what the answer is for drainage and all of that.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_13]: But greater minds, you got to get the engineering cartel in on this.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, and the DEC and all of those people.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_13]: They'll tell you what to do.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_13]: You know, we're just average dumb people, and we know.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_13]: Right?
- 58:02[SPEAKER_13]: What do we know?
- 58:03[SPEAKER_13]: But yeah, they'd need to be things corrected.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_13]: And like I said, the roads are bumpy over there.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_13]: You know, it's tough to talk about them.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_13]: Reconstruction in, you know, a fairly quiet neighborhood like that.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_13]: But, you know, certainly it's, you know, man or not, not man-made, but nature made speed bumps.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_13]: They've got there.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_13]: It does slow you down, well, slow me down, so anyway.
- 58:32[SPEAKER_13]: But it was nice to go over, I invented that neighborhood in the wild.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_13]: The back streets, you go by it on Washington.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_13]: It is a very pleasant area to live in, right?
- 58:44[SPEAKER_13]: And years ago, I thought about moving over to that neighborhood.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_13]: Almost did.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_13]: It did a couple of houses there, you know, but anyway, state where I was.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_13]: I'm on the north side.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_13]: to do some shopping after I looked around butterfield I went over to pigly wiggly because it's a grand union close.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_13]: So, had to go there.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_13]: Good afternoon you're on the air.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, the roads around the butterfield Avenue area and Costco Street, Richard Strive, got that way for years after years of neglect because they were little used and they got that way with minimal traffic.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_04]: Can you imagine what will happen when and there's a lot more traffic on those roads and they start to deteriorate.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_13]: Okay, all right.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_13]: Well, I got a run.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_13]: You should call.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, yeah.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_13]: Thank you.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_13]: All right.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_13]: Those are south side corner there.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_13]: Um, okay.
- 59:41[SPEAKER_13]: Well, anyway, currently, it'll be in here at five o'clock.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_13]: It can shoot you zero for a while.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_13]: And I want to remind you, as I always do, you've been listening through America's favorite new time talk show, the hotline with your host, Jeff Graham.
- 59:55[SPEAKER_13]: That's me.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_13]: Right here on this community broadcast is station AM-1240WAT and Watertown, New York.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_19]: Time
